The hotel is an awesome way to get away from the bustling of life, the Jacuzzi was perfect, the staff are awesome and you can't beat the price for the room that has your very own Jacuzzi! Breakfast is also great for those who are on dietary needs. Awesome stay and I look forward to staying there again and again!
Mostly excellent customer service from front desk. All the house keeps did great too. The rooms need updates and larger TVs but it is in a industrial part of Chilliwack. Heard great things about the pool but it was unfortunately closed I guessing because of Covid.
The hotel is right beside a very busy hwy. The staff was very helpful and the room was very clean. Their was no microwave in the room and no movie channels which brought the overall rating of the stay down
Rates are the reason we chose to stay here, and we will return. Unfortunately, the beautiful pool and atrium area are all shut down due to Covid, and the breakfast is not the usual BW standard, so I am going to have to return later for the full experience.
The check-in was efficient and our room was very spacious and clean. The pool area is lovely with tropical plants and plenty of seating.we enjoyed the hot tub on a previous visit. The beds are very comfortable.
No housekeeping services over a 9 day stay, no refreshing completely unacceptable, Probably will not stay this location again due to this poor quality of the staff making my stay memorable. Recommend using other facilities in the future.
I enjoy my stay at the hotel very much, the toom was clean and the beds were comfy. The beautiful atrium with the pool and hot tub was so relaxing and enjoyable. The location was great and the hotel has a liquor store with great pricing and a Tim Hortons close by.
Hotel had masks required sign on door so we assumed they had Covid protocol for guests and staff - check in line had no social distancing and several guests with no masks and the staff check in person had no mask and was not behind her glass barrier? Why have sign and no enforcement - either take sign down so guests are aware there are going to be staff and guests not following any protocols or protect your staff and guests by following your posted rules - chambermaids cleaning rooms also had no masks.
This hotel property provided great value for the price. We were upgraded to a business class room which was well appointed, spacious and bright. Although situated in an industrial area congested with transport trucks, the room was quiet. The hotel's location at the highway exit is convenient. We had a problem with our in-room coffee machine which was promptly and cheerfully dealt with. This was a comfortable property to stay at during this time of COVID restrictions since the property has good protocols in place.
Front desk and any workers that you meet are always friendly and accommodating. Being able to take pets is awesome and the rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Will definitely stay there again! Nice grass area for the dogs. Close to other areas of Chilliwack.
I chose SureStay for it's proximity to Cultus Lake and Harisson Lake, and because of their pool and hottub. My daughter had not been in a pool since March due to Covid, and well... she needed her splash time. She was thrilled and I feel like it was a good value overall.
The Atrium was absolutely beautiful at this Hotel. The pool and hot tub were very clean . Our suite was super nice, very large and had a big soaker tub. The staff were really friendly and helpful! We will definitely be staying here again and recommend it.
Covid19 safety measures were in place. I got a pre-check-in email to give most of the details. Plexi glass at the front desk and contactless check-out. Front desk was great, answered all my questions about the Best Western Rewards program, etc. We had room 216, interior room that faces the pool. Air conditioning, tv, wifi, 2 comfortable queen beds but a bit on the soft side, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, but no kettle, luggage racks, iron, hair dryer. Squeeze bottles for soap, shampoo and conditioner but may be a bit hard to squeeze, especially for kids or people with arthritis. It's just off the highway, so nothing is close by except for Tim Hortons. It's about 20 minutes to Cultus Lake. Pool and hot tub by reservation, maximum 8 in the pool and 4 in the hot tub. It's a grab and go breakfast, no sit down, but you do get to choose your items. We were a bit late, so the kids missed out, it's only 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Things looked clean and people seemed to follow the social distancing rules, except I didn't see anyone else wearing masks except us.
stayed here for a couple of nights. facilities are older but VERY well maintained and very clean. very relaxed and friendly feeling. the hot tub and pool were lovely and clean and the tropical atrium is just wonderful. you can tell the facilities manager loves this place and the guests who stay here
we will be back to stay here again situated to all close amenities ...staff at the motel very friendly the service was awesome they made our stay very comfortable and inviting ...we want to come back and stay longer next time
First time we have stayed at this hotel. We travel for business and stay in hotels frequently. The location of this hotel is easy to find, has ample parking, even for large combination vehicle. Room was large and well appointed. Ammenities were current and functioned well. Good Bed and nice linens. Staff is friendly and accomadating. Good value for service.
We booked a family vacation before the Covid 19 outbreak. We got a Room facing the Atrium which included a patio door out to the pool and hot tub. The room was clean, Beds were ok in comfort-ability. Kinda soft. There was room in the Hotel ROOM for a blow up mattress for when the kids decided they just did not want to share the bed anymore. For that I am thankful. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was fantastic. The hair dryer was great. The shower had squeeze bottles so the waste was less. Lots of Towels and the free in room coffee was great. The Breakfast was fantastic and included cold choices like toast, bagles and cereal,as well as HOT breakfast of bacon and eggs and hashbrown potatoes. The waffle bar included syrup but not whipped cream and strawberries but the kids did not seem to mind. The pool was great and the Hot tub was hot. We were not able to enjoy the restaurants attached to the hotel due to the virus. The hotel had a liqour store attached and seemed a bit more expensive then the bc liqour store. The POT store was around back and also attached. Tim Hortons was located next to the hotel parking lot. Very good stay. Will definitely come again. Very well priced as well.
We stayed with relatives as we all went to a local concert. That was on a Friday night but we made a weekend of it and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. The atrium with pool seems a bit dated, but it really does grow on you after a short while. The staff is excellent and the rooms spacious. The breakfasts are plentiful. We agreed we would come back here to stay in the future.
Great hotel! Love the gardens! Food was great and beer was cold :-) Room was large and bed was comfortable. It us located just off the freeway so very easy to access. I stay here evertime I stay in Chilliwack.. I would stay here again!
What a fantastic hidden gem! Everything was well kept and clean, very attentive staff. It has an atrium with a pool and hot tub which is a lovely feature. Rooms are well stocked with amenities- fridge, coffee maker and even a microwave. Definitely recommend.
Clean rooms we always bring our dog and stay in the pet friendly rooms that are always clean, great hot breakfast they have everthing, friendly stuff always great people at front desk, great loction close to everything.
I am a basketball coach so me and my team travel alot, we stayed in Chilliwack at the Sure Stay Hotel for a tournament. I dealt with Braydann the front desk manager, he was excellent in making sure we (17 people) enjoyed our stay, all his staff were fantastic. The breakfast was also a joy, there were many different items, all fresh and tasty. The atrium where it is served was amazing, it was so comfortable and very scenic. We have stayed at many hotels but we will definitely make Sure Stay our home away from home whenever we are in Chilliwack! Cheers Braydann, we will definitely be back!!
We have stayed at the Best Western Sure Stay in Chilliwack a few times. Great location to get out of Vancouver on our way back home. Friendly and professional staff, great room rates, and an excellent breakfast make this an easy stop. The attached restaurant is pleasant and the service and food are excellent.
This property surprised us with the amenities available at the hotel or nearby - including an on-site restaurant, pool and hot tub. We welcomed these options as we had been traveling for some time prior to arriving at the hotel and didn't look forward to getting back into the car immediately. However, I did experience an adverse reaction to the sausages offered as part of the complimentary breakfast - within about 3 hours I became extremely ill and was laid up for over 24 hours recovering. I hope it was only me!
Great clean rooms. The hot breakfast in the morning has everything you could possibly want at breakfast, and it was delicious. The staff gave me take-out containers with a tray so that I could take breakfast back to the room for my hubby and I to enjoy in private. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
This hidden gem of a hotel was a beautiful place to stay. Our rooms patio doors opened into a huge garden area that is filled with massive tropical plants and waterfalls that we could walk through to get to the pool, hottub, dinning area or front desk. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back.
The Sure Stay in Chilliwack was perfect for our holiday with family. It was budget friendly, clean, welcoming, exceptional staff & a generous breakfast. The pool & hot tub was a bit dim in the evening but with the rooms that open up to that area its understandable. We really enjoyed our stay and would come again!
a very enjoyable stay From the time we checked in to the time we checked out the service was excellent. The breakfast was excellent couldn't have had a better meal to cap off a a very enjoyable stay. All this on Christmas eve and Christmas day
Stayed one night on business. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the towels nice and thick, breakfast was good. Even though we faced the highway, the traffic noise was not an issue. The only con is the ac/heat unit was a little loud. Great value for $.
I asked to change rooms after my first night, the mattress was horrible. The second room was better but still not as good as other BW hotels. Their beds are usually lofty pillow top beds. Breakfast is good there.
I left Prince George to come to Surrey and knew I had to get through from this side of the canyon to the lower mainland side before the worse of the winter snow came on my way down. I was glad to stop.
What a great place to visit. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Comfy beds and quiet place to stay, had a great sleep. The pool and hot tub were very nice and the breakfast was amazing. I really like that they are using dishes and silverware rather than paper/plastic/styrofoam. Also liked that the soap, shampoo and conditioner were in dispensers.
Great value: clean, safe, comfortable and appropriate for our stay. The atrium breakfast with hot entrees was above our expectations. Especially enjoyed the winter decorations and brunch with Santa—what fun!
Group stayed for a hockey tournament. Very helpful in getting our accommodations sorted out. We live an hour away and we didn't want to drive back and forth. Some of the team's family found it a little high but those who did stay enjoyed it all.
I love this hotel and its staff. They are unfailingly kind and gracious, and the rooms and rest of the property are always clean and well-kept. Breakfast is always great, and always replenished quickly. This last stay, there were a couple of junior hockey teams staying, and those hungry teenaged boys kept the kitchen staff hopping! But they still managed to stay on top of things, nothing ever ran out while I was there.
We alway stay here when we go to the Mane event. Close to the venue. Staff are friendly and the food in the restaurant is good.Continental breakfast is always fabulous. They have the fun waffle maker.
We usually try to go Best Western brand. Room was good, complementary breakfast was one of the better ones and staff was friendly and helpful. Not really sure why this hotel is not a Best Western Plus. It is at least in the middle of all the ones I have stayed in.
We were in Chilliwack for a wedding and needed to stay overnight. This Hotel could not have been more perfect for us. It was clean, comfortable bed, quiet and had a fabulous breakfast. The staff were very helpful. We didn't take advantage of the pool/hot tub, but they were indoors in a very nice setting, lots of foliage around it.
Service here wes great, especially in the bar and breakfast area. Really enjoyed the breakfast as it was changing everyday, had pumpkin spice pancakes and the ham one day was actual thick slices from a full ham roast. Pool and hot tub are original but good atmosphere. Hot tub could have been hotter and jets barely worked. Rooms were spacious and worked great to spread out. Part I enjoyed most is the older cast iron tub still in the room. They were long, wide and not like the newer fibreglass tubs.
The staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating The breakfast pool area was absolutely tranquil and beautiful and there was no overpowering of chlorine in the main area very clean at all times including outside
Enroute home, an overnight stay. From checkin to departure all staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was overlooking the pool/atrium and very quiet. Everything was up to Best Western standards and wouldhighly recommend Chilliwack Sure Stay.
We always stop there when we are in chilliwack. Room was comfy as always. Sunday morning brunch is so so good. The staff that work in there are great Always so helpful and helpful. They are always smiling, and go out of their way to make sure your happy.

Staff is very professional and helpful. Breakfast area was very clean, the attendant always greats you with a smile and the food is always good. Easy access off the main highway with lots of parking area.
We had a wonderful stay in the Sure Stay Chilliwack. Very friendly staff , Great room, parking at the House, wonderful breakfast ...near by a Tim Hortons and a Liquid Store. City Center is Not far away.
We stayed here for 2 nights as a mini-family-vacation. Our main reason to stay in Chilliwack was to visit the Cultus Lake Water slides. This hotel is a short drive away from them. We had booked one night with BestWestern Rewards and paid for one night. The front desk staff was really helpful and made sure our reservations were linked so that we did not need to check out and back in again. Really friendly and welcoming. This hotel was PERFECT for our family, and if we have a sports tournament in Chilliwack we will be booking here. This is why: Hotel is right off the highway, easy access in and out. Plenty of Parking, Tim Hortons in the parking lot, and other amnetities close by. Pool area - inside heated pool with plenty of seating around it. Great area for families to sit and mingle. Breakfast - first there were plenty of seats available in the breakfast area. Plus there were lots of options for food, and they were slightly different each morning. Restaurant - We ate dinner twice in the restaurant, the food was really good, moderate price point. The evening happy hour was fantastic! But the best part of the restaurant was the laid back feel. There are games for kids to play like shuffle board, pool, large jenga, large connect four and corn-hole. All great way to to pass the time and relax between activities. Room - we booked a ground floor room that opened to the pool. This was the best! two beds larger room, good size fridge. Kids could literally go back and forth to the room and the pool. was perfect! We had a fantastic time here, and in fact ran into other friends that were staying here as well. We will certainly stay here again.
Great layout and decor but needs up dating. Furniture is dated and scratched. For the value better is expected. Stayed in the suite, pull out couch was difficult to sleep on, worn out mattress thin padding. Service was good and rooms were clean. Excellent breakfast.
We stayed at the Chilliwack Sure Stay for our sons wedding. All together we had 5 rooms. The staff were extremely friendly. The hotel was clean and appealing. We were surprised to receive free breakfast each morning which was a bonus. Location for us was great. Will definitely stay there again.

Great hotel at a reasonable price. There were some minor issues with the room...air conditioner did not get as cold as we would have liked, even on the highest setting, one lamp in the room did not work at all, and another was very dim, and didn't brighten up until it had been on for a while, and no safe in the room. But despite these minor inconveniences, the stay was great, and the buffet breakfast in the morning was excellent.
Awesome time for four nights at this hotel. Everything was positive with a great morning breakfast provided and very friendly staff. Housekeeping was fine but we needed to indicate to empty our garbage and take dirty towels away when it was quite obvious but a minor detail. All in all, I will definitely stay with Sure Stay again and again!
Just a nice place to stay when traveling between the Okanagan and Vancouver. Great complimentary breakfast. Very comfortable beds and a very nice restaurant. The staff are extremely nice and go out of their way for you. A++++
The staff at this motel very friendly and helpful. They seemed to have great pride in their workplace. The motel is well maintained and clean. There is an atrium filled with tropical plants,a pool and hot tub and the restaurant. It was unusual and fun. Dinner was great and very reasonable. The value is top notch as are the staff. Very happy and definitely recommend.
Excellent food in hotel restaurant. Great service from all staff. Suited our purposes very well (car club tour). Just missed using the pool and hot tub which looked very inviting but we were too busy with club activities.
Great hotel, very friendly staff. Check-in was so quick, I thought I had missed something. They had a very good restaurant. The breakfast area was very nice in an large open atrium with a lot of plants around. That morning the menu was build your own burrito. Also there is a liquor store next door(very important!)
The staff was able to make it possible to find room and to wait a while for additional confirmation when a room was needed in an emergency situation. Again, a personal response and a welcoming that makes it like home -really.
As you may know from my other reviews, I'm a mom of 3 boys, who is always on a lookout for budget friendly things to do with my kids. As we did last year, we stayed a couple nights in the Chilliwack area to go to Cultus Lake for their water slides and amusement park. We started a new tradition to celebrate the last bit of summer and to kick off the new school year with some fun! At first glance, I admit the hotel looked a little shabby on the outside. It's conveniently situated off the #1 Trans Canada Highway in an industrial area (hence the address, 43971 Industrial Way). The hotel is anchored on one end with a liquor store (which has never give me the best impressions). But as the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover! Since we arrived in Chilliwack a lot earlier than intended, we weren't sure if we could check in but our room was ready. We were helped by the manager of the hotel, Brayden, who was very pleasant and welcoming. After I gave him my Best Western Awards number, I was recognized for my BW Rewards “Diamond” status. Inside the hotel, it is very nicely decorated with the atrium and pool area with lots of tropical plants. We booked a pet friendly room and the charge was a very reasonable $10 per night for our pup. Inside the room instead of the usual low pile carpet, it was laminate flooring which is an excellent choice for pets. The housekeeping staff were excellent. I forgot our entire toiletries bag, and had to get some replacements. One housekeeping staff member in particular, Bridget, went above and beyond. She provided everything we needed. The toiletries in the room were lovely organic formulas and provided in environmentally friendly bulk bottles versus those typical tiny bottles most hotels provide. The beds were comfortable and everything was working just as it should. Since we went to the waterpark, we did not take advantage of the pool and spa amenities. However I did check out the pool area and it was clean and inviting. Next morning we started our day with an amazing hot and cold breakfast that was included. There was a generous assortment of yogurts, fruit, cereals, bagels, toast, muffins, etc with all fixin's. The hot selection included yummy hash browns, scrambled eggs and sausage. There is also a waffle station where you can make your own stack of delicious waffles. All in all, an absolutely wonderful stay with friendly attentive staff, and an incredible buffet breakfast. We were even granted an extended check out time so we could just relax a bit after the our tummies were full. We will definitely return next year!
We stayed as a family at the SureStay because the price was right. The beds are a tad hard, the pillows aren't the best. The room had a strange odor which I couldn't quite place as the room appeared quite clean. The breakfast was amazing! Would return for that alone.
Returning home from Vancouver Island we needed a place to spend the night on our return road trip. We had booked the reservation well in advance as it seems to be a popular hotel. In fact there was a big wedding reception taking place when we arrived. There was live music playing in the bar. We had asked for a king bed and were assigned two queens. When I went back to the front desk to ask Rose if she could accommodate our original request she was very helpful and able to locate a nice king room on the ground floor facing the parking lot and away from the road. The first room was located on the second floor overlooking the pool and hot tub and it was a little noisy The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Looked like the bathroom had been recently upgraded. Nice toiletries provided. The breakfast was included in the price of the room. The breakfast offering was quite plentiful complete with waffle maker, but the service area was very busy and the service staff seemed to be a little overwhelmed as the buffet needed replenishing and many tables needed to be cleared. Unfortunately, not much in the way of gluten free offering. I would recommend this hotel if in need of accommodation in this area.
Quick stop for a sleep. Lady at check in was rude, like we were bothering her. Cleaning lady was very kind & helpful. Beds were comfortable. Coffee was great! Room smelled musty even though everything looked new
Amazing hotel! I'm so impressed with the staff the amenities the service the breakfast the value for your dollar was unbelievable. A warm welcome from every person you came across a very clean and spacious room very comfortable beds can't go wrong with this place
We rented a room in a motel on the side of the HWY on the outskirts of town- We were charged almost $200/ night- the Hot tub was luke warm at best- the Hot tub and swimming hours are not ideal- Breakfast was not good at all. The sausage's were undercooked, the potatoes were rock hard, the eggs were not edible
This was a good traveller hotel to overnight in during a road trip. Near the highway but very well acoustically insulated. Good food and clean room. Well priced for the service provided. Would stay here again.
This hotel has it all! Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Large, clean guest rooms and a pool for the kids. Breakfast is great and has a wide variety of items for all. We Would stay again for sure
We pulled up to the hotel and the kids and my husband thought we were in the wrong place... they all said "mom is this our hotel" Looks like a run down conference building in the middle of nowhere right off the main highway. You are surrounded by big trucks and really are in what feels like a industrial area. We proceeded to the lobby and were pleasantly surprised to see a great decor and immediately felt at home. Check in was a breeze. There is a tim hortons next door and a great restaurant onsite that gives you 10% off if you are staying there. The indoor atrium surrounded by plants is amazing - the pool area was perfect for the kids and we had a room on the second floor over looking the pool and breakfast area. The rooms are simple. 2 queen beds a table area tv etc. Bathroom was tiny but functional. My friends stayed in the suite and it was immaculate - newly renovated, but tucked in the corner, but still wonderful. Breakfast is amazing. Waffle bar, eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns and lots more to choose from. I will definitely be staying here again. about a 15 min drive to cultus lake water park.
The pool is small but functional, and the whole hotel needs upgrading, but the included breakfasts are VERY good, and the staff is very nice and helpful. Good place to stay with families, and Tim Horton's is right next door too, if you don't want the breakfast smorgs.
we brought our grandkids to the Cultas lake waterslides. this hotel is so conveniently located for this. the staff at the front desk were very helpful with suggestions. the buffet breakfast is wonderful.
I booked this hotel as a layover after the ferry from Victoria. I did not know what to expect and considering the time of year, a lot was already full. I wanted something by the highway and BestWestern is a brand I've used in Richmond and in Idaho. This is the nicest and cleanest hotel I've ever over nighted in. The staff were friendly, the rooms were very large and clean, toiletries were nice, lots of pillows and other amenities and the breakfast was really good. I've had Best west breakfasts before and this was at a whole other level. Tons of selection, warm options, pastries, POG juice, flavored waters...
We stayed here one night as a layover on our way to kelowna. This hotel has large and clean rooms, and a nice pool area. The breakfast was great. The hotel is located close to the freeway and outside of Chilliwack, which was great for us. Free and plenty of parking at this hotel. 100% good value at this hotel-enjoyed our short stay.
excellent!! clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and was different both mornings. Conveniently located close to highway, coffee shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Thanks Paulvog! So glad you enjoyed your stay. I appreciate the recommendation and the comments about guest breakfast. We look forward to your next visit. Travel Safe! Deanna Johnston - General Manager
This location was perfect for us. Theres a liquor store right next door and a timmies across the parking lot. A quick drive to a ton of restaurants and Cultus Lake. The staff at the hotel were all great. The pool was the deciding factor for the kids. The hot/cold breakfast was nice and a great selection of food.
My husband and our 2, 12 year old grand children loved the room. We were right over the pool and hot tub in the atrium. The kids enjoyed the pool both the night we got there and in the morning. The breakfast was more than I expected and the gal working the breakfast was quick to refill things as they were used and was very friendly.
We stopped over for 1 night only on our way to Vancouver. It was very comfortable, extremely clean and had a restaurant onsite, bottle shop and other food outlets right next door. We highly recommend it.
Our child's birthday trip to the Cultus Lake water slides and SureStay made it SO much more fun and easy on our budget. The pool is great the kids couldn't get enough of the pool. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a complimentary breakfast. It helped so much with our food budget.
Very disappointed with our arrival this evening. From the moment we entered the lobby the front desk clerk didn't appear very happy. I filled out our paperwork, gave my credit card, DL and proceeded to our room. Our room as it turns out was booked as a handicapped room due to my error when booking. I quickly went back out to the clerk and asked if there was any other rooms available. She put her hands up in the air and said “we don't ask anymore when people book a handicap room we just process it”. I said I understand I don't remember booking a handicap room none the less we are here for a funeral that is being held tomorrow here and do you have a room facing the atrium. She said I have a room with two queen beds but nothing facing inside. I asked again as the parking lot was empty outside. She said no, all our deluxe rooms and VIP rooms are gone there is nothing. Again, I'm like you have nothing facing the inside? As usually we book directly through BW and have never had a room facing the parking lot. She said you booked through Expedia and this is what came up. I said no I booked through hotels.com and again we are here for a funeral which is a difficult time and just would like a comfortable room. Nothing facing the atrium. Ok, we've been travelling ten hours we are good. I come to the room, go on the BW site, immediately a room with 2 queen beds, atrium view pops up, same rate?? I call the front desk, no answer. Call again, no answer. My husband goes out front, no customers standing there but he can hear the phone ringing. Extremely disappointed with this. We are here for two nights and it has not started out well. I'm wondering if we are not provided a room facing the atrium as I requested after my original booking error due to not booking directly with BW. If this is indeed the case very poor business practice and customer service.
Stayed here for a sports competition. Easy access to highway and to both downtown and south side of town (front desk showed us ways to avoid the downtown congestion). Large rooms with queen beds and separate counter space for coffee station and make lunches. Room could use more power outlets or extension cords, particularly around the table. Breakfast was substantial but we would have preferred a 6:00am start. Love the move to environmentally friendlier soaps and shampoos by having dispensers, not a lover of the Kuerig. Good customer service. Thank you for a pleasant stay!
This hotel is not good for the elderly who have CPAP machines. The lamps by the beds do not have electrical outlets to plug in machines. We had to take the lamp from the desk for one side and run an extension cord, moving a king mattress to plug in the other. Room lacks electrical outlets. Bathroom is very small.
Our family of 4 fit easily into the spacious, clean room. Everything worked well. Breakfast was superior to other similar hotels. Beds comfortable and rooms were quite. Will definitely stay here again.
We were satisfied and would certainly consider staying here again if I ever go near Vancouver area again. Full breakfast was provided here with more varieties every day (not the same items that most hotels provide every morning for breakfast).
Stayed one night in June of 2019, quick stop on the way to a Canadian long term stay. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, restaurant for dinner and breakfast very nice, good staff. Bed was comfortable, our traveling cat was happy, room was huge.
Can't say enough good things about this hotel! Always stay here whenever I'm at the horse shows...Very caring staff, excellent hot breakfasts, clean smelling rooms, lovely atrium and pool...Love this hotel!!
Hotel is great lot of room to park. For big trucks or RVs free breakfast dose not start till 6.30 which is ok for tourists but too late for the working person the lounge in the building has a very limited menu hotel could use a real restaurant
SureStay in Chilliwack provided us with a clean room, 2 queen beds plus a very comfortable rollaway, for the 3 of us who were attending/competing in a local horse show for 3 days. While we personally prefer more blankets or a down duvet, the rest of the stay was great. The included breakfast buffet is outstanding. All staff went above/beyond to help us during the entire stay. This is our 2nd stay (stayed here for the previous yearâÂÂs horse show also) and we will return.
Room was unfit for use, temp in room exceeded 30 Celsius, replacement rooms took forever to get and required my family to be split into 2 rooms. Breakfast was good, staff were nice, but overall I would like to erase this experience from my familyâÂÂs memories.
After driving all day from Alberta, I like to relax before getting on the BC Ferries at Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay. Getting to Chilliwack at the start of rush hour is not fun. Best Western to the rescue. Never disappointed, great staff and great stay.
Great place to stay....price was reasonable....everything you might need was on the premises...we were attending a horse show across the highway so we didnt spend much time in the hotel but really lookef forward to returning at night...
I went to Chilliwack to meet up with some friends that were in from the interior for the Barrel Racing competition across the highway from the SureStay Hotel. The hotel was conveniently located and the front desk staff were very helpful and cheerful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Reliable hotel with consistent, good service and clean amenities. WiFi connection was a little spotty at times. Breakfast buffet was better than previous stays, actually offering up some meat this time.
The SureStay in Chilliwack is located directly off the trans-Canada. There is ample parking. The check-in process was fast and welcoming. The room I booked was enormous with king size bed. What an incredible treat. The room was impeccable and quiet. The food at the on-site restaurant (or lounge side) was delicious. Every staff member I encountered from the front desk to the lounge was so incredibly kind. The sleep I had was a game changer. I could have stayed for a week and just relaxed in the peace & quiet and sumptuous bedding. Absolutely worth the stay, I will return!
On the outside, it looks like any 2-3 star hotel, on the inside it's a vast improvement. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the room I stayed in was very comfortable. When I arrived, there was no microwave in the room, I went down to the front desk in the morning on my way out and asked if I might be able to get one, when I returned to my room a few hours later - there it was. The in-hotel restaurant is a great place to catch the game and the food varied from 'okay' to 'very good' depending on what I ordered. The burgers were okay, the nachos weren't the best I've had - I'd prefer more cheese, but when I ordered their pasta, it was really good! Pasta isn't my first choice normally, but I really enjoyed theirs. The complimentary breakfast is better than most 3 star hotels and goes beyond a simple continental breakfast to include sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, hash-browns etc., all served in their indoor garden. They also have an indoor pool and hot tub. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.
My stay was good, the food was good and the beds were comfortable, They were very accomodating in a late check out and holding luggage for me on the last day. The staff were helpful with directions to place we were going to.
I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. Previously it was know as the Rainbow Country Inn. They have managed to keep the quality up. It is convenient to the highway and retail outlets. I had a dog friendly room and was made to feel that my pets were welcome
All in all a decent place and the kids loved the atrium oasis. Breakfast was good in the morning with lots to choose from. The walls were paper thin thougg, and got woken up a few times. The pool wasn't heated and was too cold to go into. Nice hot tub. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room.
Well run, well appointed hotel with great staff. Spacious attractive rooms. We will certainly try to come back to this hotel for future trips to the area. As we were travelling with dogs we appreciated the laminate floors in the pet rooms and the breakfast has lots of choices including eggs, sausages and waffles.
Very inclusive atmosphere, friendly co-travellers. Friendly and safe feeling Restful - good choices for breakfast - clean- the stall was the best - front desk looked after extra room for another nights stay - love the place
We stayed 2 nights in the long Easter weekend. Our plan was to have a relaxing days , but we end up having kids everywhere (specially the swimming pool). Front desk it wasn't friendly as expected (I work in hotels myself).
My daughter and I stayed here one night prior to a trip to the interior. We have stayed here a few times before and enjoyed it. The room was a good size and clean and very quiet. Despite there being hockey teams in the hotel, it was awesome. The lady at the Front Desk was beyond friendly when we checked in, fantastic service there. We went to the restaurant for a drink and that seems to be in the middle of some changes.... was different and we couldn't really tell if it was a restaurant or a pub...but the wine was nice :) Breakfast buffet was excellent, many choices and it is in such a beautiful setting in the atrium restaurant. It would be nice to utilize this area in the evening as well for meals and drinks as they used to - not sure if they do anymore. Pool area is nice as well. Only very small complaint would be that they do not acknowledge your platinum membership at all, would have been nice. All in all, a great hotel.
Enjoyed our overnight stay at the is Chilliwack hotel. We have stayed here, on business, many times over the years. As usual, we found the room clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the location convenient. There is lots of free parking, an excellent fincluded full breakfast with lots of choice as well as a great indoor pool and patio area and restaurant and lounge.
Our hockey team stayed over the weekend and we thought the staff were excellent. It was great having pub with pool tables attached to the hotel. Pool and atrium were fantastic, as well as the great breakfast served.
Excellent place to stay. Every business trip to the lower mainland I stay here to beat the higher prices and the traffic further west. Lots of safe parking and right off the freeway. I would prefer a restaurant for breakfast but a complimentary breakfast is ok to.
Always a pleasant stay. Clean rooms, great staff. We had dinner at the Embassey resturant, great deals for Happy Hour. A hot tub and pool are on site for even more of a relaxing stay. Our home away from home in Chilliwack.
This was a great hotel with a large king room and the beautiful foliage inside was second to none. Very good choice as we usually stay at the Coast but now will stay here. The dining room was great for dinner as well.
We always stay at this hotel when we visit. We were happy to see there are renovations being made, as it's an older hotel and definitely needs some upgrading. The staff is friendly, the rooms are always clean, and the included breakfast makes for a very pleasant stay. There's also a pool and hot tub in the Atrium area. The one thing missing is an exercise room, but maybe that will come along soon.
The front desk is friendly and helpful. The hotel is nicely located halfway from relatives in the area. Rooms are always clean . Snacks presented well, bar drinks delicious. Plenty of room to park. TIM Horton's just next door to meet your other cravings
Our room was larger than I expected and there is lots of parking space around the hotel. The hotel is very easy to get to when coming off the Trans Canada Highway and the town of Chilliwack is right there. Very convenient and very quiet.
I would recommend this hotel during any visit to Chilliwack. I had my grandson with me arriving prior to the usual check-in time and they were very accommodating to have my room ready for me. We went for lunch while the front desk sent the cleaning crew to the room I requested (close to the pool, ground floor) to be cleaned next. The property itself is very clean, newly renovated, the rooms are a good size and the gardens are beautiful.
I spend a lot of nights in hotels for work and really enjoy my nights at SureStay Chilliwack the food at the restaurant is always top notch and it a very convenient location. The staff are attentive and the maids do a great job
Very well run and affordable motel. Just off the Trans Canada Highway, so vg for a one night stay while travelling. Rooms are basic but well appointed and clean. Excellent full breakfast included, located in a nice indoor garden setting. Great pool for kids in the large indoor garden area.
I love this hotel. I travel to the area frequently because my kids live there, and between visits and concerts and whatnot with them, I spend a fair amount of time in this hotel. The staff is lovely, every time, and every time I have a special request, they manage to make it happen, and always with a smile. It's clean, the free breakfast is wonderful and HOT, and the location is perfect.
we have driven by this place a thousand times and only ended staying here because other plans fell through but it turned out better than expected. Great hotel and staff. Awesome breakfast included and nice atmosphere.
Stayed with my family and enjoyed our stay. Spacious room, delicious food and friendly staff. Check in was fast and friendly and the atrium was very pretty. Lots of amenities, liquor store etc. Would return!
Always love staying here easy access to the highway quiet rooms and lovely atrium pool and hot tub Breakfast is included and you always leave full Great friendly staff from check in to the restaurant Awesome location
It was pretty average. Had a all issue during billing,, that was handled well. The room wasn't the cleanest but was ok. One of our lamps didn't work. But staff were friendly and it's one of the better places to stay in chilliwack.
I had a really bad time at this hotel. My wife and I had dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel, the embassy. After that we went to the reception to take some pictures in front of the fireplace. My wife was sitting on the armchair and then an employee of the hotel called ROSE yelled at us: You have to pay 20 dollars to take pictures here! I just said, well, sorry, I did not know it. Then she said, you can take one or two, but if you want to take more than that you will have to pay. I will not take more. I came back to my room ... After talking with my wife we just realized that we were paying 140 dollars to spend our night there, then of course, we can take pics at the hotel. I came back to the reception. I asked to another staff how much I had to pay to take pics there. At this moment ROSE was behind me, and she shouted: 20 dollars. Then I told the other staff that I was a guest and that was not right. ROSE then just said, You did not tell me that you are a guest. I said, well, I have to explain that I am a guest or YOU HAVE TO ASK SOMETHING IF YOU ARE IN DOUBT? She kept talking rudely, trying to say I was wrong. Then I just left. That situation was so embarrassing ... I was there to take a good time with my wife. If ROSE misunderstood anything there was no problem, we just have to talk and solve it. But she kept being rude with me when she was not right.
Our room - we give it a solid 4.5 - food - 4.5 for both breakfast and dinner! Unfortunately we booked our room on the same weekend as a peewee hockey thing...... and having young kids running up and down the hallway outside our room at 12 midnight really changed our weekend. If someone would have informed us, we probably would have changed weekends. Nothing was said. Will we come back to this hotel - yup you bet - will we make sure there are no events happening near - YOU BET!! We both had expected at the very least, the parents to control their children - but that was not to be. Watching kids “cannonball” into the hot tub you were about to “enjoy” with your wife, suddenly doesn't have the appeal it once did. With all that being said - the room was wonderful! Nicely appointed, clean and very comfortable! Breakfast was the standard Best Western fair, cooked well and as always satisfying. The staff were always smiling, helpful and polite - despite having to deal with the “hockey” crowd - who were “trying” to say the least I'm sure! I heard one parent say “wonder if this hotel will ask us to not return”..... just makes you wonder. Dinner at the pub which is adjoining the hotel, awesome!! Wonderful food - great tasting, served hot and by wonderful staff!! We will be back here - well worth a visit. All in all - a great visit. Unfortunatly it seems that some of today's parents don't feel required to teach their kids respect for their fellow hoteliers - makes me very sad to see “our” future being brought up to do as they please with little to no respect for others.
Clean quiet room friendly staff great buffet breakfast atrium seating relaxed place to eat The breakfast offered a variety of pastries yogurt waffle machine. Assortment of juices cranberry, orange, and variety of teas
We had an excellent stay. Nice comfortable, clean rooms. Beautiful atrium with pool and hot tub. Super nice and friendly staff. Great breakfast and service. Easy online check in, all requests were accommodated including early check in. Would definitely stay again.
Great place to take the family. Clean and friendly staff. Find when on bottom floor the people above are very easily heard when walking. This being very difficult to sleep if they are up all hours of the night.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Booked a suite with the hot tub in it and loved it. The hotel restaurant had great food. The atrium was really nice. Enjoyed meeting people at the pool and hot tub. I would definitely stay here again
We just got back from a 2 day stay at this excellent hotel! The staff is fantastic and the rooms are great. I have a bad back but I still got a great night sleep on the fantastic beds! The breakfast each morning was a 10 Plus!!
Staff were pleasant & provided excellent customer service. The room was very spacious & clean. The heating unit was extremely loud as the fan kicked on & off throughout the night. The shower head needs to be replaced. It didn't allow for much water to flow through & the pressure was poor.
terrible food. tasteless. Service was poor and lengthy for a Monday evening.1 person ordered ministrone soup. it tasted like it came out of a can. The calamsr was greasy. The veal parmigiano was tasteless I would not recommend this to my friends.
The hotel looks old and it is a bit outdated. With that being said, it is very clean and a comfortable stay. The staff was more than friendly and understand what service is. I would defiantly stay at this hotel again. Don't let the appearance of the building throw you off.
The staff was polite and accommodating. The room was spotless clean, quiet, and comfortable. The climate control was easy to use, the window actually opened, and the ice and vending machines were accessible. I stayed on a Tuesday and paid $117 for a standard king room. The breakfast provided was excellent - included scrambled eggs, sausages, etc.. The location is good; easy on and off the highway. Only complaint, which I don't think the hotel had control over, is I was charged an extra 3% City Tax and 1.8% Eco Stay Fee, in addition to GST and PST. So add over $20 in extra charges. Ouch. All in all, a great stay.
We've celebrated our friends 39. wedding anniversary here today and enjoyed the great brunch buffet in a beautiful setting. The lobby and restaurant are full of plants and waterfalls, and you feel a bit like in the jungle. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive and we definitely would recommend this place. You would never assume such a lovely place from the outside.
This is an interesting building. You wouldn't know it by seeing the exterior - it looks pretty non-descript from the outside, set just off the highway amidst a truck stop and fields. It's an older building, with a large atrium in the middle with lush plants and water features, as well as a pool and an open-to-the-atrium restaurant. I imagine this area was decorated tiki style in the past, but it's hard to say...it was fun to imagine. It's a bit difficult to describe the space because it's unique and different than your typical hotel building. Our family spent a night here en route to Kelowna. We enjoyed swimming in the pool with our kids. It was nice to have a breakfast buffet in the atrium area as well. We stayed in one of the large suites with one bedroom and hot tub. The room was enormous. Rather dated and could have used some attention - like why did it have two mini fridges, and why was the microwave on a side table in the dining area? It felt a bit like an appliance parking lot. The bathroom was huge - as big as my living room at home! Anyway - I enjoyed staying somewhere unique, and I would return if I needed somewhere to stay in the area.
Quiet location, nice restaurant, beds are comfy and the rates are fantastic. My employees are now requesting this hotel to stay at, as they all love it. The staff are all amazing and accommodating. Perfect spot for a family or on buisness.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and the last week we spent 3 days meeting family there that drive up from the state's. The staff is excellent and go above and beyond for the guests. They found a first floor room for my wheelchair bound Stepmother on short notice in a hotel full of guests. The breakfast is fantastic and the servers polite courteous and made my family feel at home. The atrium is beautiful and like an indoor botanical garden. The indoor pool and hot tub give the kids a place to burn of steam on a rainy day and were clean and well maintained with plenty of seating for the grandparents to watch the kids play. The attached restaraunt and lounge has good pub style and snacks for the kids. We had nachos and wings one night that were delicous. What a great hotel and my favorite hotel to stay in all of Canada!!!!!
The complimentary breakfast buffet had a wide variety of foods and beverages to choose from and the food tasted great ! The restaurant staff as well as the housekeeping crew were friendly and both did superb jobs. Front desk was efficient and polite, but some were cold. The pool/jacuzzi area is small and dark but clean. The room was just regular, nothing special, bare minimum. It did have a keurig coffee maker but with al van houtte coffee. Overall = meh.
My stay at BW Surestay was a great one! I was participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer and it had rained the whole 114km ride on Saturday. I was so thankful for my large lovely room, with the clean bright white sheets and ample pillows. My restful night enabled me to ride again on Sunday and complete the 206km. The staff were very considerate and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Would definitely stay here again. A large group of us stayed in this hotel for the Ride to Conquer Cancer weekend; it was super busy with such a large, wet, and impatient group checking in all at once and the hotel staff were great to deal with. Rooms were fine, breakfast was substantial and good, common areas were clean, and staff were great. No complaints.
had to attend an event in Chilliwack and booked this hotel as best western has a pretty good reputation. We found the front desk clerk exceptional. She was friendly and helpful and made thew whole check in experience positive. the room was clean, bed was comfortable, free breakfast was quite good! included eggs, sausages etc.
Liked everything about it. Large rooms, roomy halls and common areas, very clean, wonderful breakfast, beautiful atrium garden beside pool and hot tub ,large lounge and dining room with good food, kid friendly ,and a very pleasant and accommodating staff.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The rooms were clean and easy access to the pool. Breakfast was buffet style and had a good selection of foods. This is a great hotel for families and groups. The Atrium gives the hotel a place to meet and eat.

Thanks Bob H! We are so fortunate to have a lovely Atrium area - our garden lady does a great job, and it is a wonderful area to serve our guest breakfast. I appreciate the comments about the cleanliness. We have amazing staff that are really committed to a great guest experience. Thanks for the thoughtful review. I hope you'll visit us again. Stopped on way to Harrison Hot Springs. Industrial area but we picked because it was pet friendly. Rose at the front desk clearly doesn't like her job, pets or guests for that manner. Told us all the things we couldn't do. Room smelled like smoke, room key didn't work. Beds comfy though! Keep looking.

Staff was great. There is a Tim Horton's, liquor store, and pub/restaurant all on site. Great night. Close to highway 1 (trans Canada). There was even a local vendor on site selling Chilliwack local corn!
We always stay here when we bring the grandkids, great pool area for the kids and they have fun at the breakfast bar the next morning. Nice place for families to unwind by the pool area and watch the kids swim
Check in was simple... staff was very nice... they asked if we would like we could park our motorcycles under their front awning and they'd watch them over night... The lounge has good food.... the restaurant is good... they have one of the most outstanding continental breakfast there are anywhere.... Close to a truck stop type place so just understand this isn't a luxury hotel... but it is very nice for what it is... with an adjoining liquor store... perfect!

Thanks Todd G. I appreciate the kind words about our staff and breakfast. We love it when the front of the hotel is lined with motorcycles. I hope you'll visit us again soon! Deanna Johnston - General Manger
We stayed at this hotel for one night as we traveled further into the interior. Location initially looks concerning. You can see it from the HWY, it is in kind of an industrial area, lots of trucks around etc. But it is actually a great location- easy on and off onto the HWY, just a few minutes drive (drive over the bridge and turn Left) and you are close to restaurants and shopping. Our room faced the road but we had no issues with noise. The hotel have a nice atrium with a pool area, a stream, a little bridge and lots of plants. You eat breakfast in this area and it is really nice. BTW breakfast was really good, with lots of options and stations. Staff keep the food restocked and are always available to clear away your dishes or help in any way and are very friendly. Here is the strange thing, this breakfast place transforms into an onsite restaurant at night. This is the only thing that we were not impressed with at this hotel. We thought we might check out dinner here. We entered from the hotel, no real clear signs but the desk clerk pointed the way. The place smelled like stale beer and was dark- I felt like we entered an old pub. No one greeted us, no one actually even seemed to notice us until we found a service station and helped ourselves to menus. Nothing appealed to us so we went elsewhere. The rooms and the hotel were clean and we saw lots of housekeeping staff in the morning, all who greeted us with a smile.
We had to make a lase minute trip, looked and booked online. Pleasantly surprised . Very clean, friendly staff, easy to find. Pool area is in an atrium, surrounded by plants. We quite enjoyed our stay.
Stay here every time we go to Chilliwack. It's always good, although an update wouldn't hurt. Good for singles, couples and families, as it has an indoor pool and hot tub, plus breakfast is included. Tim Horton's is next door, beer and wine store is attached, and it's close to town. Nice and clean, quiet and comfortable ??
Liked the location for freeway access to Vancouver. Attached liqueur store and Tim Hortons next door. Stayed two separate nights with rooms well away from reception, atrium etc. They were surprisingly quiet considering facing the freeway. The restaurant is more like a pub. There are many better choices in the area for dining. All levels of staff were hit and miss. Some were very pleasant and friendly while others bordered on rude. Breakfast was good. Only thing odd was an extra path that funnelled guests into and through the eating area so pick your table with care. Would stay again.
Stayed here for a tournament weekend. Check in went smoothly, room was clean but outdated, beds not very comfy. No where for adults to congregate like many other hotels that have tournament guests. We even tried to book an additional room but the lady at the front desk refused. The breakfast was okay but not very accommodating. They shut it down right at 9:30am and I mean on the dot, one lady actually did a count down. Tearing down the drink station while people were trying to get there coffee, are u kidding me??? The Saturday am was their pancake day, they ran out by 9am and refused to make more. You had 3 hockey teams here with 14 and 15 year old boys, put in some effort. We overheard the one worker say to the other “what do they expect when they arrive 30 minutes before closing” The Sunday, we all had 7 am and 7:30am games, breakfast wasn't open early so the kids tried to eat on the way back, they refused to extend the breakfast, tearing it down as we tried to eat a few things. We really didn't feel welcome here at all. Sports teams stay away!!!
I was moving to Chilliwack and waiting for my things to arrive, so needed a place to stay. I wasn't sure where to go, but exited on Lickman road and saw the Best Western right there. I was relieved to have something quickly off the exit. What it lacks in location (it's in the industrial area) it makes up for through the beautiful courtyard and pool. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast included was excellent with eggs and yummy homestyle hasbrowns.
Our room was ready upon arrival and was located near to the pool and hot tub area. Easy check-in and checkout with more then ample free parking and WiFi. Our room included a mini fridge and a convient liquor store adjacent to the hotel
This property is in dire need of an update. The room I was assigned was like stepping back into the 80's. The bed just looked sad and saggy but the linens and pillows were clean and crisp. The bathroom had a large jetted soaker tub but the jets were not working. The toilet chain broke during the night hence I fixed it myself rather than phone someone in the middle of the night - just didn't want to deal with that. The breakfast was very good. I do believe that after a renovation this will be a nice hotel.
This property has been nicely upgraded. The staff are friendly, caring, and offer great service. I really enjoyed the clean hot tub and relaxing swimming pool. I was very happy that " Hanna " one of the maids was very helpful when I remembered forgetting my bathing suit when I stayed at Christmas. She offered to go to" lost and found " to locate it. She returned right away with my bathing suit and my towel. I was very happy.: ) Great people, great service! Thank-you! Eileen Roth
