« Best deal in town, clean and friendly. »

This slightly aged hotel remains clean and always does the trick for us everytime. We were in the area for a week in order to purchase a house and never had an issue. The pool and hot tub set in the middle of an indoor garden style settting are always welcome and so relaxing. The restarant offers the basic items and the continental breakfast as well. A bar is also part of it. The staff accomodated a few basic requests we had, such as late check out, use of their fax, etc The restaurant staff was also nice enough to warm up our leftovers one evening for dinner without any problems. Not a brand new trendy hotel, but it offers everything an hotel should, clean and 30 seconds from the main highway.

    « Clean, comfortable, convenient »

We rolled in late one night and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The beds were super comfortable and the room clean. The interior of the hotel contains the pool, hot tub, restaurant, and tropical forest complete with waterfall and green plants. It was really pleasant! The included breakfast was standard continental. The shower was hot and powerful with nice amenities.

    « Top Notch Service »

This is a great hotel. The staff and service are great and always look after you. I have been staying at this property for about 10 years or longer. You become part of the family. They have a full breakfast in the morning which they just added and it always fresh and hot.

« Great stay at a GREAT price »

we booked last minute to the best western in Chiliwack on a drive back from Alberta, for the greta price, (under $100) we had a terrific room. the bathroom was lovely, the bed comfy , we were on the highway side of the hotel which was a but noisy ,but the breakfast atrium the next morning was a lovely surprise. GREAT breakfast included. I would definitely ask for the garden side.

    « Disappointment with a trusted brand »

I have stayed at and am have been extremely loyal to Best Western over the years. I have found almost all my stays very comfortable, affordable and pleasant.IMy wife and I found this particular hotel a bit cold and more caring about getting you in and out. There was no major issue just the small touches we have experienced in other Best Western locations more homey. While we will conjtinue to use Best Western, we will probl=ably stay at another one in the nearby cities.

    « Date night »

Was very impressed with the friendly & welcoming staff. Requested pet friendly room. Vinyl floor may be reason one can hear dog & people in room next door. Nice beds with no traffic noise, even tho right on hwy. Atrium & pool area was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was the best I have had at a BW hotel. Pub was very good. Most people it seems arrived for the buffet: prime rib(on our night), it was very tempting. But I am not a big eater. Nice to have a local hotel at a reasonable price, with a little more style, plus this was my points rewards: a free night

« Do you like sleeping? Book elsewhere. »

I'm a diamond plus member w Best Western. This location has a number of rooms that have glass doors facing the restaurant courtyard. I am currently lying in bed listening to a party going on in the courtyard and am not sleeping. When I called the front desk and spoke to Gloria the solution she offered was earplugs that I collect at the front desk. If earplugs are something they keep at front desk my only assumption is that this is a continuous problem. This would be a great room if I were planning to stay up all night and having some barley pops. However I am on a business trip and need to work tomorrow. There are no other rooms that I can be moved to and when I spoke to Gloria she told me they've been sold out for 3 months. However, I booked this room 3 weeks ago so this was clearly a lie. I will continue to lie hear and listen to the party happening outside my very thin glass door and will hope for the best for tomorrow's sales meeting. Please use my review as a guideline to doing your job and stay somewhere else. I like the points from being a diamond plus member. But would truly enjoy sleeping much more.

    « Older Hotel »

The facility seems to be an older property however it has been well maintained in the areas normally visible to guests. Some exterior components, the soffits on the back side of the building for example, were in some state of disrepair. The room was clean and served us well. The air conditioning unit in the wall was very loud when running and would cut in and out every 10 minutes or so - very disruptive to sleep - we finally turned it off and prepared to sleep in a warmer room. The breakfast was very basic but staff kept it stocked with the items they were serving.

« My conference's Hotel was over-booked and i was late. But Best Western took me in quickly. »

I was road legged and came in and told them my dilemma and they took me in. I did not have a credit card and then they pondered. But the manager showed up and i said i can pay up front and they took me. Whew. I do not believe in credit cards and do not enjoy having debt incurred by work related trips. But i have to say i enjoyed the swimming pool and the whirl pool.

« Awesome place to stay while in Chilliwack »

We stayed 5 nights at the hotel. The room was large and very clean. We had a room over looking the pool. The breakfast was included and the service was amazing. All the girls were very accommodating to my gluten free request. They had bread and cereal. The restaurant was also very good. We arrived back one night at 10:45 and we're able to get food off the menu. The hotel was quiet and close to everything. They even have a liquor store and Tim Hortons there. Will definitely be booking there next time in Chilliwack.

« Good place to stay »

Not far from main attraction points. Easy to take the bus. Staff very informative. Next time I go back to vancouver, I will consider this place again. For brakfast it is OK, the eggs I did not like and the place to eat is small. Everything else was perfect.

    « Great Staff...Poor Sleep Quality »

I attended a business event & stayed at this hotel. The hotel is older & easily accessed off the highway. This has positives & negatives. The traffic was extremely loud all night & I'm a sound sleeper. The heat/air unit in the room also kept me awake & I couldn't seem to regulate it so it wouldn't click on. The staff team here were extremely helpful. Anything I forgot, they had it! All seemed very content in their jobs & the level of customer service benefited from it. Our event was catered here as well. What a great variety. This may be the 1st time I have had "buffet" style chicken that was moist & flavourful. The room included a free breakfast. Great variety & always fully stocked. While I was enjoying my meal, I was witness to a guest speaking with a member of the kitchen team. The guest had dietary needs & the staff was quick to ensure her needs were met if not exceeded. Although my sleep was poor, the level of customer service would definitely bring me back.

    « Helpful staff »

One of my sisters had to come out from Calgary with her daughter at the last minute due to a family emergency out in chilliwack. The staff were very kind and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable with a cute little balcony over looking the amazing indoor courtyard area. We had a nice meal at the restaurant there after a long and stressful day and were catered to by a chatty and friendly waitress. The best western definitely made a hectic day much easier on all of us! Thank you!

« Great place and close to Highway »

Almost like an oasis/resort with pool and looks can be deceiving from outside of hotel. Next to Tim Horton's and a great liquor store next door which I think has lower prices or cheaper than most places. Missed the free breakfast as after long tiring journey and didn't realize it ended at 09:30. Other than that, service, hotel staff and room was all in order and no complaints here.

    « Unique hotel. »

This hotel is located right off of Hwy 1, and easy to get to. There was lots of parking and is located next to a liquor store, Tim Hortons, and has a restaurant and pub attached. The hotel is very unique as the centre of the hotel has an atrium where the pool and hot tub are located on one side and the breakfast area on the other. Good stop on the way to the city. We will stay here again

« a gem just off the highway - excellent staff go the extra mile »

Booked this hotel due to proximity to a family wedding venue. Everything worked out great. I booked a king suite so our family could gather in our sutie for happy hour. Lots of room, comfortable furnishings, handy bar, comfy King bed, and even a jacuzzi in main area. We didn't use it but it was there. The other suite has a view of courtyard. Ours was view of highway and mountains. Rather nice. Excellent staff, great food and lots going for it.

    « It's a Best Western »

It's a Best Western and let's face it they are all pretty much the same! This one is right beside a Timmies, so that's a bonus! It is *right* off the highway, but we didn't hear highway noise at all. We were tired and pulled off, getting the 2nd to last room. It was the Jacuzzi suite! The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, but it was hot and refreshing. The breakfast the next morning wasn't great, we couldn't get near the waffle maker, it was tasty and very convenient. The outside is old and it's in a "rough" looking area next to the truck stop, inside it has an atrium with plants, paths and fountains. We'll be back if we are ever in Chilliwack again -- our first concern was noise and we didn't hear anything, neighbours or highway.

« Great Stay and Convenient to Highway #1 »

We checked in while on a motorcycle trip. Staff were awesome to deal with and the room was clean and comfortable. Great location off of Highway #1. Great breakfast provided in the restaurant. I would stay here again

    « Awesome staff! »

Right from check-in you know the staff is awesome. Friendly and helpful. Eating dinner later in the restaurant, the front desk staff was even helping serve. Nice clean rooms and no noise issues at all.

    « family trip »

it was a very good stay. nothing fancy but very comfortable and economical. I have no time to write a long review so do most of the travelers. your request of minimum 200 characters is somewhat u fair, you should let people write however they like to write.

« Plain on the outside, GREAT on the inside »

The hotel is next to a truck stop and the highway, and does look very plain on the outside. On the inside it is great: the rooms are very nice, clean, quiet and spacious, and the staff very helpful and accommodating. A really great feature is that most (all?) rooms have windows or patio doors facing the inside garden - a huge central room containing a tropical garden where you eat breakfast. Its really fabulous if the weather is cold and rainy day outside. It was also great value for the money - relatively inexpensive, with wifi internet and breakfast included. If I visit the area again, I would definitively stay at this hotel.

    « Family fun »

Our family stayed two nights in August to go to the lake. Kids loved the pool, breakfast was great and convenient. It was a great value. The only issuehad was the laundry room had one washing machine and I was unable to time it to get the laundry done. The service was great all round with the staff.

    « Enjoyed our stay »

We found this hotel to be very c lean. The Atrium was beautiful. The breakfast was really good. We would have loved to try the hot tub and pool but did not have enough time. Highly recommend this hotel.

« Good place to stay »

Rose at the counter was highly accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Room was really clean, pool nice (but small), and (breakfast) Buffett is superb. Room is pricey but we're from Alberta and don't usually pay these higher prices. ?

    « Good Value »

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Best part was the included breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, hash browns and make your own waffles. Location not ideal (industrial area) but was quiet. Has a very good restaurant. Tim Horton's and liquor store adjacent to hotel.

    « Nice hotel »

We stayed here for one night and did the same last's a nice quiet hotel to stay at, great breakfast with great staff and a lovely atrium, nice pool and hot tub, clean large rooms, comfortable beds, great staff at check in and out and the same with housekeeping., We will definetly stay here again.

    « Sunday Brunch »

The setting is older however the idea of sitting amongst the trees and the sound of water running still is a big feature for me. l love the setting and the food was excellent. It was a bit busy when we were there and thats to be expected however I would reserve a booth next time. Service was good, overall great dining experience and I felt it was fairly priced for a buffet considering the amount of food was served.

« Getaway before school starts »

We stayed here for three days while we went to the Cultus Lake Water Park and Cultus Lake Adventure Park. This hotel is our grandson's favorite hotel of all time. The rooms are in a square with the pool and hot tub in the middle. There are lots of green plants, waterfalls and a small gazebo in the middle as well. We have two queen beds and with the US dollar stronger, the rates are really low. They serve a full hot breakfast as well each morning. This place is just approx. an hour east of Vancouver, B.C.

    « Love this hotel »

We weren't sure what to expect from the outside -- but come into the hotel - friendly staff, great atrium and clean rooms! Loved it - and very convenient off the highway. Breakfast was one of the best offerings at a Best Western. The pool was very nice and clean!

    « Convenient and comfortable »

We stayed at this hotel one night on the way home from a driving trip to Seattle. As it was the height of the summer travel season, it was just as well we had made a reservation. When we checked in, there were no rooms left and we were told that there were likely no hotel rooms available that night from Vancouver to Hope! We just needed a place to sleep for the night and this hotel fit the bill nicely. The room price included a full breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant. As is the case with many hotels like this, it is clean and comfortable, without being flashy. It is very much a travelers' hotel, and given its close proximity to the Trans Canada Highway (just off the road at the western edge of the city), it is in a very handy and visible location. It's easy to find and reasonably close to lots of food and beverage places, if you don't want to eat in the hotel itself. The room was big and clean, and the bed was very comfortable - the main reason we stay pretty consistently at BW hotels. We have yet to be disappointed with the beds and like the fact that you can be almost guaranteed that you will get a decent night's sleep. The breakfast buffet was good. It is located in a covered central courtyard with lots of plants and a winding pathway. It's pleasant location and the buffet is ok, particularly if it's included in the room price. You can always order off the menu too, if you wish. That's a nice option which is not always available at these kinds of hotels. We would certainly recommend this hotel, as long as you're not expecting luxury.

« The most beautiful atrium I have seen »

Our rooms were spacious and very clean. The restaurant was in an atrium that was absolutely gorgeous! Lovely plants and waterfall. Breakfast was very good as usual. Staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived without a reservation and were given two rooms . While it was a bit of a walk for my mother to get to the dining room, she managed quite well. She uses a walker. We would stay here again

« Good value, close to highway, nice pool atrium area »

Just needed a place to stay for the night but found this excellent value just a minute off the highway. Atrium area with patio tables from restaurant which is also free breakfast buffet area and swimming pool is a maze of trails, water fountains, plants...pretty cool although not sure if I would want a room facing inside onto the atrium. Buffet breakfast was quite good, not great but quite good with a choice of hot dishes as well. My only complaint of the place was noise...we faced the highway which was loud plus the AC/heater is completely controlled by thermostat and always came on high fan...and the thermostat was pretty intolerant of temperature changes which meant that the fan blasted on loudly on and then off many many times during the night. So, although I would have given this place a very good rating, I gave it average based on sleep quality of highway and fan noise. Also, the toilet ran constantly and I had to adjusted the ball several times...informed staff the next morning but since we got in late evening I didn't want to deal with a maintenance guy that night. Everything clean and very spacious in the room

    « Meh. »

Puzzled by the glowing reviews here. Front desk person was crabby. Price point too high for the 1990s vibe. Wood frame building so if you're on first floor, you can hear footsteps above. To their credit, brunch was adequate.

« A very nice hotel to stay with. »

This is a very nice hotel to stay with. Their staffs are so helpful and professional. Their facilities are great and clean. My families really enjoyed our stay with this hotel. I like the swimming pool and breakfast very much. I will strongly recommend this hotel to my friends.

    « Great stay! »

The rooms are clean and fresh and the staff is awesome and very friendly. We love staying there! It feels like home. It is worth the stay for sure, best place we stayed in our whole trip. The breakfast was very good as well!

« Nice pool area and great staff »

Have stayed here a number of times because of the pleasant pool area that is filled with greenery and quite attractive. But this time I found it a bit lacklustre. The room I was in, although spacious, had a long feature wall without one picture to brighten it up. What was particularly annoying was to arrive for breakfast and find half the restaurant closed and people trying to find places to sit in one small area. The full restaurant was finally opened but too late to accommodate all the people coming in. Although the staff were working very hard trying to keep the tables cleaned and the food restocked, it was stressful as a guest to try and fit in, while seeing tons of empty tables closed nearby. The other issue I have is that breakfast starts early at 6:30 am and ends at 9:30 am. Anyone on holiday is hoping to be able to relax and take some time to enjoy themselves. Being forced to get up and go eat early and then go swim on a full stomach before checking out is annoying. What would work better would be to have the pool open by 6:30 or 7:00 am (for adults only so the kids don't wake anyone) and keep the breakfast time open until 10:30 am. This way people can have a nice swim, go for a shower and still have time to have an enjoyable breakfast without being rushed.

    « Trip to Chilliwack »

We had a very pleasant stay. The ambiance of the atrium and restaurant is pleasing and comfortable. The very welcoming staff initiated an enjoyable experience. Location is easy to find and close to the freeway. Live music on a Friday night is an unexpected bonus.

« Convienent place to stay »

We visited Chilliwack, British Columbia again this past week. We go every year and the Rainbow Country Inn is the most convenient place to stay. Close to Trans-Canada Highway 1. Close to restaurants. Nice rooms, good food and reasonable rates.

    « Very nice »

After a day of rafting it was a surprise to find out nice our room turned up to be. Clean and bed was comfortable. Had dinner at the restaurant which was good. The pork bites were delicious. Hot tub was nice for a soak after the rafting. You also wouldn't know this hotel is next to a major highway, we could not hear a thing!

    « Lucked out »

Arrived later in the day in Chilliwack and had seen the Best Western from the highway. I am part of the loyalty program with Best Western but had not made a reservation. We were lucky to get one of the last rooms available, a suite with a king bed. The room unfortunately already had a guest in it/ Rose at front desk immediately rectified the situation and upgraded us to a amazing one bedroom apartment style room. OMG it was gorgeous. The soaker tub could have held six people easily and the shower was an experience in itself. The amenities of this room took our breath away. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very quiet for a Sunday night. The service was almost a little too efficient as we kept letting the server know that we weren't ready to order yet, we wanted to relax and enjoy our cocktails before dinner. The meal was very good and I look forward to eating at this location again.

« Feel like you are in the tropics ! »

We enjoyed the stay at this hotel -- the hotel is close to the freeway which did not bother us, but not much around the premise but truck stop gas stations - not where to take alittle walk. The included breakfast was good - hot eggs and hashbrowns as well as a variety of pastries, cereals, yogurt etc The court yard was lovely with the tropical plants surrounding the indoor pool Super comfortable beds

    « Beautiful, spacious room..#123... »

Front desk staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and the only issue we had was the softness of the King size bed...too soft, woke up with sore back. Next time we will ask for a room with a firmer mattress. Breakfast was included and we quite enjoyed the cleanliness, and continuous cleaning up by staff. They were friendly and courteous. I would recommend this hotel.

« Good rate, great service »

Chosen via based on it being the best value for options available. Needed Pet friendly, very accommodating. Nice room, clean, quiet. Staff very helpful. Very good breakfast included option free wifi, free parking.

    « Noisy Room »

Loud Noise through walls from beside stairwell and through ceiling from room above. When asked to be moved was told hotel is full. Was surprised a BW Platinum card member would receive this service of product.

    « Good value »

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Not a bad hotel right off the highway close to where we wanted to go do activities. Free breakfast and the breakfast was very nice. Don't have to pay for parking. The rooms were reasonably sized but the beds were uncomfortable and the pillows felt like $3 pillows from Walmart so we did not sleep so well. There's a pool inside and the balconies are facing in towards an indoor jungle which is kind of neat and that's where you eat your breakfast too but not right close to the pool. We find that it does get noisy when people decide to swim at 10pm but never gone past that time. We liked that it was close to a Tim Hortons and Liquour store and various gas stations. Close to Cultus Lake and river rafting activities. Good value.

    « Superb customer service »

I can't say enough about the staff at this hotel. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. The atrium is beautiful and the rooms very comfortable. 5 stars to the women in the breakfast buffet dining area. Lorissa was so friendly, so helpful and always had a beautiful smile to greet me each morning. She went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. Can't say enough about everyone's helpfulness and professionalism. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

    « fills my needs »

The staff here go out of their way to make me feel appreciated as well as take care of all my needs. From check-in to check-out, all amenities here get a high rating. Food in the restaurant is well above average, Friday evening entertainment is a nice touch in the lounge/bar, rooms are large, clean and comfortable and included breakfast is better than most ( good variety ). My home away from home.

    « Rates too high... »

It's an okay place for a night....we were there for a birthday party and didn't want to drive back to Vancouver late at night. Their rates are definitely too high for where it is and what you get. Huge room though and comfy beds. Breakfast was included so that was a plus.

    « Very nice »

Stayed here July 2016 Great reception staff on check in. Friendly and informative Room was great, large and has a fridge freezer but no microwave Tv is really good with a 32 inch screen Bedding crisp and clean Towels high quality Down side is that soap and shampoo is wall unit dispensed, not in individual bottles or bars Wi-Fi reception is very good with an in room wireless unit There is a great restaurant / bar in the hotel with an inside atrium / pool. Great place to hang out This place is a must stay if you're passing by and need a place to stay. Room rate was $125. A bargain at twice the price

« Wonderful Atrium and Friendly Helpful Staff »

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay... The atrium was wonderful giving a tropical atmosphere with the rock pathway and waterfalls. It is so delightful. for breakfast and the pool area refreshing and quiet on the whole. The full breakfast was excellent.. Our room was exceptional. We asked for a quiet room nd received one with a corner window. The decor was bright and cheerie. The staff were excellent and very natural and friendly. We were at a BC Theatre Mainstage Drama Festival. Our whole stay was lovely. We wish to thank the staff for taking very good care of us.

    « Thank you »

I have found bw to be one of the best hotels to stay at. The beds are perfect the rooms are cool if i want them to be. The service staff made me feel at home which is what i look for when I spend most of my time in hotels.

« A bit worn around the edges- hallway carpet- but great sleep and terrific breakfast »

Not much to tell- conveniently located along the Trans-Canada highway, this Best Western was just fine, what we expected. The room was very comfortable, and while we were overlooking the indoor swimming pool, we were not disturbed by the noise of playing kids- others might be. The included breakfast was terrific with fresh (own made) waffles, and a bit of fruit and lots of bread/cereal choices, as well as scrambled eggs. Good coffee, too.

    « Relaxed Stay »

My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend when we participated in the awesome Village Classic car show downtown... well over 300 vehicles lined the streets. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming...made for a very relaxing and fun weekend. Good restaurant on site, as well as a clean and well kept pool and hot tub. We've already decided we'll go back and stay here for next year's car show.

« Beautiful Hotel in British Columbia »

We stayed at the Chilliwack Best Western on Saturday night when we came for a car show on Sunday. Everything was great and they have a nice pool in a jungle setting. The food was great in the restaurant and we will do it again next year.

    « Best Western - Chilliwack BC »

While touring BC on a motorcycle we stopped in Chilliwack and decided to stay for the night. The room was very clean and beds very comfortable. This hotel has small bocanical garden in the centre court which was quite the place to relax and have breakfast in the morning. Walking distance to a Tim Hortons, gas station and easy on/off highway. Rooms was nice, clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The check-in was quick and the staff super nice. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

« Weekend in the Valley »

This trip served a dual purpose. Outlet shopping in VAN, and visiting friends in Chilliwack. We had enough reward points for 2 night, so we selected the BW . Overall quality is good. Our room was on the atrium side, so no highway noise at night. The room itself was clean, I liked the remote was in an envelope, I thought ceiling needed a fresh coat of paint and the duvet cover had some stains on both beds. The hot breakfast in the morning was appreciated. The proximity of a liquor store and coffee shop was very convenient.

    « Great place »

We were extremely satisfied with this motel and we felt that everything was well organized and the staff was great. Our plans are that we will return as soon as time allows. It was close to the highway and easy to find and there were exciting things to do while were where there.

    « A very good Country hotel »

This is a very nice BW Hotel. It certainly is not in the luxurious category, but it is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and ready to help. We ate lunch at the restaurant the day that we arrived and the food was good, but it took a long time to be served to us. The breakfast the next morning was enjoyed by all, but would suggest more fruit. I have a gluten allergy, so there were not a lot of choices for me. This is not our first stay here and i am sure it won't be our last.

    « good location »

Never had a reservation and we were there before 12 noon and got a room right away. Staff at front desk was very helpful. Room was clean but very small for the price. Very nice Atrium view from patio door. Restaurant was good for our lunch as we were in hurry, super good soup. We had supper but it was not so good, very small portions for price. Atmosphere was cordial. Waitresses were very competent. Disappointed with breakfast should have been a better selection and not even real cream for coffee. Otherwise our stay was great.

« Service Plus with lots of smiles! »

This is wonderful hotel. Beautiful aitrium with lush vegetation and water falls. Breakfast is the best I ever had in a hotel. The staff is friendly, attentive and when I had a problem with noise from other guests, they went over and above to find a quiet room which totally stisfied me. I reserved 2 night but stayed 5! Located close to the highway, otherwise the location is not ideal, lot of trucks visit the truck stop across the road and it get a little busy.

« home away from home »

It's like family AND we get along great, the check in and check out are smooth and enjoyable with the added good humour shared, the room was clean and comfortable, the food is great and the lounge/ restaurant had Friday eve entertainment, all the staff are good at their jobs and appreciated.

    « Perfect location »

We were staying for a Vaulting competition at Heritage Park, that was literally kitty corner across the intersection of HWY 1. The rooms were perfect, the breakfast perfect, the pool was enjoyed by all, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was great. We will definitely stay again when we come back.

« Very pleasant - love the atrium »

Stayed here 3 nights while attending a wedding at the Fraser River Lodge. Staff were friendly, room was good size and clean. We had a room facing the atrium (Rm 104) which we loved. Was so nice to have access to the atrium via the sliding doors. They do not have chairs on the small patio area outside of the room, which I wish they did. We had to take the chairs from our room and a couple from the pool area so we could sit and enjoy the humidity and sounds of the water features. The Keurig machine in the room is a nice touch. A/C works good. The location is great having a liquor store with good beer selection attached right to the building. And with Tim Hortons about 60 steps away (which was good because the coffee at breakfast was super strong) Speaking of breakfast, I thoroughly enjoyed the eggs and potatoes and pastries. The hot tub was a nice temperature and the pool was relatively warm too. We used the onsite laundry machine and dryer which cost $4 in total, and $1 for a Tide box at the front desk. Would definitely stay here again. Good value!

    « Great Experience »

We stayed at several Best Westerns during our road trip from Lake Louise to Vancouver and this Inn was one of the very best. Our room was very clean, comfortable and roomy. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were fluffy. The breakfast that was included was excellent and the seating area was in the atrium area with lots of plants and waterfalls. The staff was friendly and efficient.

« Excellent staff and accommodations »

We got off to a rocky start when I booked our room for a funeral. My problems were that the information I was sending in an email was not coordinated with the staff at the hotel itself. Central booking I am assuming. I then called them directly and although our reservation was totally messed up and she said they didn't have the room we originally booked for, she made some phone calls and managed to correct the errors that had occurred in our booking, made sure my grown daughters were in rooms right next to us, gave us a board room the night before the funeral for us to gather in , and just went out of their way to make our stay stress free and enjoyable. I couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The atrium is awesome with paths weaving amongst tropical plants and everyone in our party enjoyed their breakfast. We had booked a block of rooms so had many relatives staying there. Tim Hortons and the liquor store was attached to the hotel. The only thing I heard anyone in our party complain about was the food in the restaurant. Some people were not impressed with their meal. My meal was great. I would and will definitely stay there again.

« Loved the inside of this Inn as it is beautiful »

Overall stay was great and had no issues while visiting Chilliwack. The interior is just beautiful and worth staying at this location. I had no problems with the place being very clean and the bonus part was that I was able to eat next door.

« Convenient location just off the freeway, in-house restaurant »

On route from BC to Alberta, this was a restful experience after the freeway drive from Tsawwassen. The evening meal in the restaurant exceeded our expectations and the breakfast facility and selection was more than adequate.

    « Great service »

I was treated very well by all members on staff from check in to check out. Very comfortable beds, relaxing setting in room looking over a centre garden courtyard. It features a sauna and hot tub. Excellent morning brunch and an on site restaurant serving delicious fare. The housecleaning staff were top notch and attentive. There is even a coin operated washer and dryer available on site.

« A happy oasis near the freeway »

We have stayed here before also, it is off of the main freeway and the outside parking lot has trucks so it is very surprising when you go in and find that the entire center section is an atrium with lots of jungle plants, banana trees, waterfalls, and flowers. There is a nice romantic restaurant there and on the other side of the gazebo is the pool and spa. Our room was on the main floor and the sliding glass doors open onto the atrium with a little waterfall a few feet away. Love this place!

« Always a great place - great staff. Good value »

We have styed here many times usually due to family visits or family medical emergencies. We have always received good value for the cost and find everything clean and relaxing - just what we need!! The staff are always very friendly and very efficient.

    « Happy Dog »

Traveling with a dog can sometimes get you a funky smelling room. This Best Western has laminate floors in the dog designated rooms, which makes cleaning easier, hence no odor. The entire property is clean and the staff friendly and efficient. The restaurant is good and the complimentary breakfast is above the norm, with real plates and cutlery. The property was quite convenient for us.

    « nice resort »

we attended the Canadian police national curling championships and the best western was our host. They went above and beyond to look after our stay. They were always available if you required anything. Beautiful buffet breakfast and also a nice restaurant with excellent food if you so desired. recommend this best western to anyone travelling in the Chilliwack area.

« all around great value »

stay here continually and am well taken care of by all staff from check-in to the restaurant and lounge/bar to check-out, rooms are clean and all amenities work, included breakfast is above most others, location is close to highway access

    « Best Western Chilliwack »

Great staff in a modern clean facility. Well kept and comfortable. Restaurant and lounge are cozy and the food is great, staff are quick courteous and friendly. Great place to stay for business, or pleasure.

    « Nice family hotel »

Nice stay, with friendly staff.. Good food just took awhile but open late so I did not care as much. I would stay there again. I like the free breakfast and pool was not too much over smelling chemicals also...thank you

« Stay was too short »

Large room comfy beds/pillows awesome chef Fraser River salmon was to die for hubby's steak was too. Went sturgeon fishing with Greg from Lens Sporting Adventures phenomenal,!! The pool and hot tub was so relaxing and warm Would love to stay longer Thanks for the delicious breakfast also many choices RECOMMEND

    « Restuarant »

Seems to change management and very poor service and really bad chef. I was given a steak frozen in the middle and when talked to table server, she said did I want it HEATED UP! I would have expected a very sorry, will call the chef and what can we do to correct this? I should have not been my polite self and refused to pay but I did pay. I ended up at TIm Hortons after that to have something to eat. That was on Easter too. I stayed here the following Sunday and the meal was just as disappointing and it was not a steak again but another entree they offered on the menu. I found the place really noisy both times too.

    « Good Stay »

Older style hotel with central atrium, but nicely refurbished. Rooms are quite large and spacious. Hallways are wide. This makes for a quieter hotel if your room does not face the highway. The continental breakfast has both hot and cold options. Traditional atrium has a faux garden, pool and hot tub. Hot tub a bit on the cool side. The only drawback was the atrium floodlights turned on about 2am filling my room with light - as bright as daylight - an unusual experience. Friendly and helpful staff!

    « Great »

Loved the place. Outdated but in a good way. Room was clean and large. Loved the hot tub. Bed was comfy and even real glass wine glasses for that extra touch. Iron and board. They thought of everything. Lady at the front desk was fantastic and went out of her way to get us what we were looking for. Restaurant staff was great as well. Loved the tropical atrium and the price.

« home away from home »

another great stay at my favorite get away, check-in was smooth and Rose always takes care of me, room was clean and very comfortable, lounge/bar was quiet that evening but enjoyable and the included breakfast was good and the check-out was smooth as well

    « Fishing get-away »

Real helpful staff, warm reception on arrival, inviting entranceway, clean rooms with in room services of fridge, etc, pool & jacuzzi clean & well maintained, & self-service breakfast tasty & filling. Will be back next fishing trip...

    « Very Nice »

Once again it was a great stay at the Rainbow Country Inn. Comfortable beds, great staff. Hot tub could be a couple of deg higher , but with the pool right next to the tub, it's a great combination. The staff always amaze me with their commitment to making my stay as comfortable as it could possible be. I will not even entertain staying at another hotel.

    « Well worth a visit. »

A nice family hotel with clean rooms, good restaurant meals and knowledgeable staff who are available to meet your needs. You might hear traffic noise from the highway nearby. You will be well looked after from the minute that you arrive.

« Nice place if you like firm beds and have ear plugs. »

Everything was great except for the noise from the roadside and the hard bed!! Pool is nice and breakfast is very good. Nice wide hallways. Elevator if needed. Disappointed to get a roadside room when I booked the room months before. :(

« Banquet rooms and meals fantastic! »

I helped in planning our annual work event and we have enjoyed the BW for the last few years. Fabulous service and marvellous meals offered for your event, meeting or party. I highly recommend this location for your event. Kathy and her team are tops! I recommend the salmon with lobster sauce. Mmmm. We tried the grilled salmon with ginger marinade at Christmas and it was just as good.

« Good for my needs »

Went here for a business trip in January. I stayed for 3 days and it was an acceptable hotel. Check in was easy, the room was clean, and was kept clean to an acceptable level. I think my only complaint about the hotel is that there was no microwave in the room. They have a nice atrium in the middle of the place, though I didn't really go in there for anything. I would stay here again.

    « Rating »

The staff made the stay very easy. They are a very friendly, helpful and pleasant group of people to deal with. For that reason alone I would recommend this hotel. In addition, the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

    « Oasis in Chilliwack »

Beautiful atrium filled with tropical plants..... complete with a water fall. Friendly staff. Swimming pool and hot tub are in the jungle also. Relax with a cold drink, or a good book, and un wind. Highly recommended.

    « Clean & Comfortable but Dated »

I spent 4 nights at the Best Western Rainbow Country Inn. The service at the hotel and the restaurant were both great. The room was clean and comfortable albeit dated in style. The courtyard is a tropical theme with a restaurant patio, water feature, pool, hottub and trail through tropical plants. I found the hotel quirky and fun overall but it's style is definitely die for some updating. The price, obtained through a third party website, was excellent and made this place a real value. I would stay here again.

    « Another Great Stay »

This is our go to hotel when we visit Chilliwack, and as always it was a very nice stay. Clean, comfortable, and a great staff. We stay at the Best Western Rainbow Country Inn every time we are staying in Chilliwack.

« Room had bad odor! »

As soon as we opened the door to our room we could smell the odor of urine. Not only that, but it smelled like cigarette smoke in the bathroom. We went to the front desk to complain, but they would not switch us rooms and their quick "fix" did nothing.

    « Brunch with Santa »

Sunday brunch at the Embassy: For the month of December say hello to Santa. Good value, great brunch, lovely surroundings. I would give the Embassy Restaurant thumbs up. Make sure you make reservations.

« My home away from home »

I stay here regularly because of the way I am taken care of and don't hesitate to highly recommend staying here even if your business or recreation is not in the exact area of this hotel. Well maintained and great staff.

« Fantastic hospitality for teams or groups »

Stayed with a youth sports team. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Staff called me coach which is a nice touch. We arranged for a team lunch in the morning and they provided no problem and very good value. Very nice rooms. No microwaves but mini fridge. Great stay.

    « Great get away... »

A great get away... pool/hot tub in the atrium is very relaxing with no chlorine odor. Hot breakfast is great. Very quiet relaxing hotel. Food is really great at the Embassy restaurant...Friday night carvery excellent. Staff friendly and courteous. We're going back for a get away as soon as we can.

« Wished we could have stayed longer »

We just stayed overnight at this hotel, staying here as it was convenient just off Highway 1. We weren't expecting anything but a room but were pleasantly surprised. The lobby is large and inviting and was decorated very tastefully for Christmas complete with large nativity. They do have pet-friendly rooms which was important as were travelling with our dog. The next morning we went down to enjoy the included breakfast buffet which, although not large, was enjoyable (there are hot items as well as the usual yogurt, breads, muffins, croissants, etc. We were amazed that the restaurant was smack dab in the middle of a beautifully landscaped courtyard. There is a pool and a hottub as well. We were sorry we weren't staying longer to enjoy their use. Very clean, large rooms and very friendly service. Would definitely stay there again given the opportunit.

« Nice place, friendly staff »

We stayed at the Rainbow Country Inn before a fishing trip on the Fraiser River. It is a convienent location from the freeway. The room was Nicely decorated, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was very good for dinner and the complementary breakfast was also very nice.

« Nice hotel, affordable and very clean »

I stay here regularly for work, the rooms are very clean and nicely renovated, there are fridges in the rooms, and they have excellent, comfortable mattresses. The pool and hot tub area is fantastic, like an indoor oasis, best of all the pool area is rarely buy during the week. The restaurant has a somewhat limited menu, but the food is quite good. This is a good solid, clean place to stay.

    « Wonderful experience »

Last year as you may have read I had a poor experience staying at the Coast Hotel Chilliwak. I therefore booked into the Best Western Rainbow Hotel in Chilliwak. Well, I am here to tell you it was a completely different experience. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Rose the receptionist who was the most pleasant and helpful staff member that has been my privilege to meet. Everything that could be done to make our stay as comfortable as possible was done without question. The manager Steve went out of his way to meet with us everyday to ensure everything that could be done to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The bar staff - Lisa was both friendly and attentive and helped make the whole holiday a wonderful experience. It was almost a home from home. To all your staff Steve a very big thank you and be assured I will certainly have no hesitation in recommending the Best Western Rainbow hotel in Chilliwak to the many anglers I send over to fish in your wonderful country.

« Great place to stay »

I found this hotel to be the very best, Best Western hotel I have stayed any where in North America. The rooms were very clean, the in room service from the restaurant was quite and the food good. The free supplied breakfast was set in a nice room and the food was very good. All stall members I came into contact with were friendly and helpful. Great place

« Nice location, snarky desk staff »

I will keep this simple. The property overall is a good value, but the lady that works the desk insulted us for being from the USA. Her words on checkout: "Have you done damage for one day?" ( we never even used the pool, were only in the suit for about 7 hours to sleep) my words: " what makes you think we did damage?" Her words, "oh you know, you Americans and all" We are actually Canadians who live in the states and were up in Chilliwack seeing a grandparent in Hospice. The lady working the desk clearly needs to get a job not involving customer service. Upon check out, I stood there while she was silent. Not a word ( we were the only two at the desk) she finally simply said, "Yes?" Not a "Can I help you?" nor a "How was your stay" nothing, took my money and couldnt be bothered to ask how I was. The hotel is just fine, I travel a lot and there is nothing wrong with this place. Good value, and good location. But Diane needs a new job or a kick in the butt.

« Industrial location, but safe and easy if you are driving. »

We needed to be out of Vancouver in the late afternoon. This location was just what we needed. Next morning we were just a short distance from getting on the highway back through the mountains. The hotel is located in an industrial area, but seems safe, clean and friendly. Breakfast was fine in a comfortable garden like setting, with good food. We would stay here again for similar reasons.

« Excellent venue for a special event »

We just held our second annual Rock The $#@! Out Of Halloween costume bash at this property and it was an overwhelming success. We used all 3 banquet rooms which open up into one big room. This room has everything we need to pull off this event, which is no small undertaking. The hotel staff were VERY accommodating at every level. The banquet staff went above and beyond to help ensure that we had everything we needed when we needed it. The buffet meal that was served to our party goers was very good and plentiful and all seemed to enjoy it. I am judging this by the fact that there was barely even a morsel left on the buffet and most plates were empty after the meal. Despite the fact that this is an older hotel the rooms we stayed in were tidy and well kept up. My wife and I both had a good sleep. I highly recommend the Best Western Rainbow Country Inn for your special event, dinner, or just an overnight stay.

    « Always a pleasant stay »

Pet friendly is a must because I always travel with my kids. (2 mid-sized dogs) Great food (and room service) at the Embassy. East access to Hwy 1. Close to all my business needs in the Chilliwack area.

    « Our New Favorite! »

Great place, we were staying in Langley, and wound up spending an extra day, so we spent the night here before heading home. It's our new favorite hotel outside the city! Friendly staff, great food, a great value!

    « Great family accommodation »

This is an all-round great hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the atrium (including pool and hot-tub) is beautiful, the breakfast is great, and the staff are wonderful. While this is not right in "town", it is handy to everything, especially Heritage Park, which is right across the highway.

« Good for everything hotel in Chilliwack »

Just spent one night at this property and was happy with the experience. The staff is very friendly and the hotel has all the amenities you need. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and included! Room was fine, with the exception of a bit of an old, musty odour, which you get used to after about 15 minutes. No big deal. Otherwise, good value with good location if you need to stay in the area.

    « Another fine stay »

As usual, the staff and beds at the Best Western did not disappoint. Top notch service from a great staff, and very comfortable beds. The hot tub was also a nice. From check in to check out, it was a comfortable and welcoming stay.

    « great stay »

I stay here on a regular basis ( home away from home ) and except for the patron directly above ( noisy late till early ), it was clean, comfortable and staff are excellent in the restaurant as well as at the front desk, and the included breakfast is awesome ( great variety )

« Nice hotel - staff very pleasant »

On the expensive side as far as we were concerned. Prices similar to downtown Vancouver. Staff were very good. Should have more than two luggage carts. Nice area with pool inside the hotel; inside rooms open into this area.
