"More of a homeless shelter than a hotel"

Wish I had read the other reviews first as this is more of a homeless shelter than a hotel. As a result, they had to close off the breakfast room so instead of making hot, fresh waffles, they hand you a baggie with cold pancakes to microwave. The breakfast crowd was scary and I didn't feel safe in this hotel or parking lot. This wasn't an inexpensive hotel, either, so I recommend you spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Why doesn't someone make an app to let you know what's going on so travelers can make informed decisions?

"Sleep in your car"

Not worth the stay. Overpriced and outdated while being in a tough location. They house houseless people in the hotel which is commendable, however the smell and noise along with general crowd in hotel and parking lot did not lend to a comfortable stay.

"Find Somewhere Else"

This hotel is a homeless shelter. Hotel staffed masked up. Can't help yourself to breakfast as the breakfast room is blocked off and there was one option which was handed to us. Our room was clean but no hairdryer. Outdoor seating is negligible and the lounge chairs were worn and torn. There is security on property. This is not what was expected from the Best Western Plus hotel...a brand my husband and I have used for many years.

I should have read the reviews closer. This hotel is being used as a homeless shelter. It's more of a flop house than a hotel. I don't want to sort sound as if I am unsympathetic to the plight of the homeless in America. But when I stay at a hotel with an identifiable brand, I expect the hotel to provide a fairly common hotel experience. This was not the case. Security patrolled the premises, many ‘guests' appeared to be ‘street people', breakfast (which I avoided) resembled a nursing home filled with a Medicaid clientele, and ‘guests' often congregated in front of the hotel or in the parking lot for long periods of time smoking cigarettes. The hotel showed the effects of long-term use as a homeless shelter. The carpets in the hotel were filthy and the building in general showed the effects of long-term neglect.

"A Poor Excuse For A Best Western Let Alone A Best Western PLUS"

I would never recommend this hotel as it has now become a shelter for the disadvantaged who are in transition. I understand that this is necessary at times but certainly not to be mixed with travellers looking for accommodations for the night. The fact that this hotel is now what it has become it has definitely had an impact on the standard of the hotel and the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. The amenities and the cleanliness of the room that I was in was deplorable and no one should ever be assigned a room like this. There was mould in the room and the carpet was black from dirt. There was no phone and no effort to provide us with one. The residents were hanging around outside under rooms smoking which was coming into our room, hanging out in the lobby smoking and hanging out in the dining area at breakfast. If you were , going to have a mix of hotel guests and residents, you should be informed of this before you book. It was also observed that the 24 hour security that is there now because of the residence situation was seen fraternizing with them in their rooms and in the public areas. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.

I've been staying here for many years. I've seen the service change alot. The front desk staff is excellent. I stayed here recently and the room was definately not totally cleaned. I found 'hairs' in my bed, upon arrival, that were definately not from me. There was an empty tissue box in the bathroom. I had to call for new ones. The shower wasn't fully cleaned. The people that were sitting and smoking on the bench out front were still there 5 hours later. Then we saw them in the cafe for breakfast the next morning. Lots of security guards were up and down one hallway and one sitting outside a room door. The elevator would stop at random floors where nobody was there. We pushed our floor got off on another (didn't notice), went to what we thought was our room. The keys weren't working so a nearby maid came over and asked if we needed help getting in. She didn't even look at our key with the room # on it. She let us in. We were in someone elses room. I didn't like knowing that a stranger could have access to my room/things whenever their 'key' wasn't working. When we backed out and went to our correct room the keys still didn't work. The front desk reset it for me. It still didnt work. We were let in again. We packed quickly and left. It was just an ok experience. It used to be SO much better! Also, there's a coffeemaker in the room. I've recommmended the inclusion of tea pods many times. Not everyone is a coffee drinker. Still hasn't happened. Sad

Selected this hotel based on very easy access from the highway, therefore anticipated more traffic noise than heard. Room was clean and well-appointed. Front desk staff was super-nice and courteous! Breakfast area under renovation; pay attention to posted hours, because they do shut down abruptly. Only negative: elevator is incredibly slow!!

Was booked here for a business trip, and got the hell out as quick as I could, after spending 1 night with an eye open all night. Place smells like smoke and pot, dirty, rundown, and several down on their luck people inside and out. Clearly still being used as a shelter… should not advertise themselves as a hotel when it's used for other purposes. Don't stay if you can avoid

This was for a one night stay for one adult. Check in went smooth, no noise, room was clean. I gave it a 5 star because the of gas station that is directly next to this Inn. The cashier had a rough time and was spit on by a patron. This world is a mess. The stay however was great.

Smelled like smoke and marijuana everywhere in the hotel. The vending machines don't work. The front desk person took 10 minutes to come out of the back room and let me check in. It's also a homeless shelter. Not safe.

This hotel is being used as a homeless shelter and halfway house. It reeks of smoke and is loud and unclean. There are security guards and trash in the hallways. The staff is nice. The location is convenient. Nothing else is ok.

Poor rooms that need updating. Our room didn't even look like it was cleaned before we stayed. There was trash under-bed and dog hair everywhere. For someone who wasn't traveling with a dog it was disgusting. The hotel was filled with what seemed like people living there and felt like the only guests.

"Horrible experience"

I did not have a good experience. Here are some of the reasons why: -The front entrance was packed with people smoking cigarettes all hours of the day -The hotel smelled like cigarettes. The room was grimey, especially the bathroom. - There was a lot of suspicious vehicle traffic happening in the parking lot. All and all, this hotel was dirty and smelled. I would never stay here again.

My friend booked 5 rooms for 7/16-7/17/21. Three couples arrived around 5pm, I arrived around 6pm. First impression was we saw homeless people in front of the hotel, after we entered to the lobby one of my friend came down and complain about smoking in the room, another couple also waiting at same time complain about smoking odor in the room. My other friend also encounter a man on the 3rd floor lobby smoking marijuana. Best Western Plus suppose is a better quality hotel than other Best Western brand, now this hotel turn into homeless shelter. The Manager on duty tried to get us rooms in other hotel, the process was so slow because he was helping other couple. It forced us to decide to drive all the way home, it was a long drive, most of us arrived home midnight around 1-2am . On the website it should mention that the location was provide rooms for homeless, then we will not have to go through all this trouble. We also used gift card, it was not retuned to my account. I had to call this morning and waited 30 minutes in order to speak to the agent.

Outside pool not open. Police officer sat in lobby for half a day then followed shady people around the hotel as they got in elevators. The chairs on my balcony broken. Neglected, didn't feel safe. Expect to find chain smokers hanging out front all day. I am only disappointed because my rate was not low and last minute minute booking. Had I paid low rent and known it was such, would expect this. Completely blindsided. Breakfast was decent and staff were very nice.

There was seedy traffic in and out of the hotel during the day and especially at night (there were security personnel sitting in chairs on floors at night). Hallways smelled like pot. Fridge froze our food, there was no security lock on our door, bathroom fan was falling out of place. This place needs some serious TLC. We were with a large group and others had similar stories.

Room not properly cleaned when we arrived and missing refrigerator. The hotel was full so we were stuck with what we had. Pool out of service, still had cover on it. Have stayed here before, but seems to be going downhill.

Exit to parking area was not cleaned in 7 days, room trash not collected in 7 days. Had to move into 3rd room since first one was not made up, 2nd had leaking shower. No change in bedding in 7 days, towels were exchanged. Staff made numerous errors, no one took much responsibility during the Virus although 2 other hotels on our trip did a very good job. Our visit last year was much better. I had hopes this one would be as well, but I was very disappointed this time. Staff needs training, a better attitude, and management needs to oversee service during this Virus issue. Hampton and HIlton Garden Inn were both MUCH better dealing with similar circumstances. It was a very difficult stay.

Was Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Breakfast to go for us was really goos, as well. Muffin, juice, granola bar and fruit cup. Room was clean and very comfortable. Would like to see refridge in open rather then closed in a cupboard, though. Definitely will be back.

Breakfast room too cold for enjoyment of meal. Also, management is trying to save money by not providing USA Today for its guests. To stay at this property using BW reward points, you would need 28000 points. Does management realize how much you have to spend to accumulate this many points? I will not stay here again unless the newspaper is back.

With other hotels to choose from, I have stayed here over 10 times for business always alone, just myself. I feel safe in the room and also when I am in the parking lot whether day or night. The parking lot is in great condition and litter free. The cars I have seen parked are all well cared for as I have never seen a run-down proverbial rust bucket parked anywhere on this property, ever. This is important as run down vehicles may signal a downward environment issue with potential criminal implications. The parking spaces are marked and the vehicles have more than sufficient room between another parked vehicle. I have only seen a few semi-trucks (without trailers) and there is ample parking for these larger vehicles behind the well-maintained building. The rooms are above average in comfort and cleanliness and the bathrooms are in wonderful supply of hygiene / shower products if needed. In the room there are waste baskets that are for traditional trash and wastebaskets for recycling available. The rooms have a mini-fridge and a microwave and a flat screen TV with a remote of course. A TV channel guide is placed next to the TV remote. The rooms also have a Keurig coffee maker and 4 free Keurig cups are provided. Also, I have seen a clothing iron and even a hair dryer. The towels and wash clothes are fluffy and well cared for. The mattresses are new or newer and are perfect at least for me. All but twice the room temperatures were controlled by a wall thermostat versus temperature unit in outside wall controls. Never have I seen dust on the furniture nor areas of the carpet that needed vacuumed. Some in-room lamps have an attached USB port for charging electronics or a standard USA electrical outlet attached to the lamp. I have 4 electronic items that either need its own electrical source or a temporary charging source and I have never had a problem making sure my electronic needs are being met. The staff work quietly and are far and above professional always ready to help if you ask. They look you in the eye when speaking with you and never rush you, never making you feel placed aside or making your needs feel unnecessary. The staff here treat you with respect and the staff act like adults, not self-entitled 15-year olds. The staff here are complete professionals. I, having been to Walt Disney World approximately 40 times since 2005, will attest that staff service at Best Western Plus Chelmsford Inn Address: 187 Chelmsford St, Chelmsford, MA 01824 exceeds Disney service. Surprising to read that statement as it is to write I assure you. Other guests I have seen in the lobby, hallways, and parking lot are courteous and respectful toward others. The guests vary between white collar professionals, high income blue collar workers such as rail road engineers, business owners, and international tourists. There is a large in-ground swimming pool with plenty of lounging space and even a BBQ Grill for parties. There is an amazing breakfast buffet that I have seen include sausage, bacon, eggs, omelet eggs, toppings, make your own waffles, several yogurt varieties, bananas, apples, milk/chocolate milk, breakfast pastries, breads, a couple types of gluten-free breads, bagels, juices, a 24-hour coffee station including strong coffee and decaf coffee, a microwave available 24-hours, and even packets of Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate for your pleasure. I have seen families in the evening using the microwave to heat up quick dinners for themselves saving travel money. The mornings I have attended breakfast I have seen the General Manager named Brian Bourque, a very friendly and professional Hotelier, walk the breakfast area asking guests how they were finding their breakfast and the accommodations. I had even witnessed this ‘going above and beyond' wonderful manger cleaning up after other dining guests whom had left their breakfast utensils and plate ware on the table. On the first floor I have noticed there are snack vending machines with reasonably priced treats when your after-hours sweet tooth needs taming. Adjoining the parking lot is a restaurant open for lunch and dinner. 1 mile away are more sit-down dining options; and 2 miles away is a McDonalds on Plain Street, the friendliest McDonalds I have EVER come across. The Best Western Plus Chelmsford Inn (87 Chelmsford St, Chelmsford, MA 01824; Phone: (978) 256-7511) is about 40 minutes to Boston MA; 45 minutes to Salem MA.

We were unexpectedly stranded due to our car breaking down and found this hotel and comfy and friendly place to stay. Everyone we met was super accomodating and friendly. The room was spotless, beds very comfortable and the shower was perfect. We enjoyed a great breakfast with an extensive array of breakfasty foods. The hotel just needs updating. The lobby furniture looked like it has seen better days. The rooms were a little outdated. The cleanliness was ok. But it is good when traveling with a team. Breakfast was good.

I spent 5 nights here recently and we enjoyed our stay! Upon check-in, Shirley, at the front desk was amazing! She was so helpful, personable, and just top notch! I saw her a few more times as I was coming and going through out the stay and each time she was just as welcoming and engaging as the last. The staff running breakfast each morning were also great - so accomodating, friendly, and taking pride in their efforts. The housekeeping staff was also very nice - always with "hellos" and/or "good mornings" as we ventured down for breakfast or out for the day. The staff all around was great! The room was ok! We stayed in one of the older rooms and really the only downfall is how uncomfortable the bathrooms are - the rooms themselves while older are impeccably clean and still fair enough. The bathroom while very clean has limited counter space and a very strange toilet - almost like a stall type toilet which is so close to the ground and confining. Ultimately, this was a very cute place to stay for 5 nights especially for the deal we received. The staff was stellar and the breakfast was also ample with choices even for those who are gluten intolerant. Everyone here takes pride in their jobs and this hotel - it shows!

Flooring in room not well cleaned. Perhaps this was do to the surface design. Bathroom small counter. Good size refrigerator and area for coffee. Appreciated the Keurig machine. TV control was easy to use and a hard laminated directory provided in addition to the directory channel . Lighting poor near desk to do business work at night. Bed comfortable. I went to plug in a device near the table and chairs in the room and found a large open ended pipe extending from the wall with an approximate two inch open diameter. Not sure what could possibility come out during my stay. Not becoming of a 3-star hotel. All other areas of hotel in very good condition and updated design. Breakfast area very nice with standard selections. Yogurt expiration date Sept 3- 2019 when I visited on Sept 10 and 11. Could do a better job with checking those dates. Staff were very pleasant.

We couldn't have asked for a better late night stopping point on our road trip. The hotel is right off the exit and it would be impossible to miss it. The check in was perfect and the woman who checked us in couldn't have been nicer. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well. Every staff member we spoke with was kind and courteous. We'll be back same time next year!

Almost a year to the day. Things are still going very well. Location was perfect for our rest day in the middle of traveling. There is a gas station on property as well as a Tapas Bar. Staff is extremely friendly, rooms clean, and extremely quiet. The continental breakfast was nice and there is plenty of seating. Wifi worked just fine. Beds comfortable. One of the best Best Western's to date for us.

The Best Western right off Route 495 in Chelmsford, MA has recently been totally refurbished and is just lovely. Everything inside is fresh and new. Breakfast is very good for a continental breakfast with choices of hot and cold items. The breakfast area is large, bright and cheerful and kept clean and replenished. The room was very comfortable and included a small refrigerator. We find it a very convenient place to stay on our travels north. Now the only thing they need to work on is the rear of the motel which needs all new grass instead of crab grass, weeding and trimming of the shrubs and attention to detail. Then the facility will be Perfect. But if you are not planning on using the outside area then this is a perfect place to stay.

They hire the smartest, kindest front desk people. Two of them helped us reserve connecting rooms for a daughter and her kids. They helped them out with a late arrival and no forgotten toothbrushes. One left the desk to personally assist a granddaughter who had locked herself out of her room. The were quick with extra towels and pillows. And they always acted as if it were a pleasure to meet our needs.

Located feet from 495, this hotel was well located in a quiet, safe area. While not new, it was well kept, and the room was very roomy, nice and comfortable. I may have gotten lucky, but I got a great price which made the stay a relative value for the area. The fitness room was much better than most hotels offer. Breakfast was only average unfortunately, and the tiny hot elevator was very slow. Staff seemed very good. Overall very pleased though and would certainly recommend or stay again.

After driving for many hours heading to Maine ,We found this hotel by looking for best westerns in the area. Very nice front desk staff made us feel welcome .Want to mention Maria Campbell for her kindness and suggestions for area restaurants .Our room was clean and spacious ! Nice view of the pool and grounds .Next ....the breakfast offered is amazing.So many choices and healthy options to choose from. Highly recommend this hotel.

Clean, friendly staff. Had a slow drain in shower, clean, functional room otherwise. Modern decor. Comfy bed with nice pillows. Convenient to UML, where I was working. Easy access off highway. Our group has used this hotel for several years, and it's been a good option for us. This year, some of our staff had check-in issues, where the hotel staff said they didn't have rooms, but they did. One issue was late night, and they tried to put one of our male staff members in with another female staff person. Just think they could have been a little more mindful of what they were doing at 1:15am. It woke up the women who was in charge of our group, and who had handled the reservations, etc, so she knew everyone who had check-in issues actually were supposed to have rooms.

Parts of the hotel have been upgraded to an excellent standard We stayed in an older style room, but it was clean, comfortable and pleasant. The view of the pool was an added bonus. Breakfast area was bright, modern and one of the best we've seen.

A really nice Inn. Beautiful rooms and what a great huge breakfast area. It was truly one of the best breakfasts I've had at a Best Western. I made a day trip to Boston. Local bus stop to the train station is right in front of the hotel. One way bus trip is about $2 or you can spend $11.50 for a taxi. Both will drop you off right at the train station. I took the train for $20.00 round trip pp. You can buy your train tickets on the train. From the Boston train station you can take one of the many color coded subway lines to anywhere in Boston. There are subway ambassadors in red jackets that are there at the subway ticket kiosks that are happy to help show you how to use the kiosk.Total trip time one way was about 1hr and 45 minutes. I didn't have to drive in Boston (which can be challenging if you don't know the city) or find a place to park (which can be costly). Bostons Chinatown had a lot of great places to eat.

The rooms are almost all updated. Great breakfast selections. Very comfortable beds. Front desk was very helpful and even offered bus schedule and where to catch it. Great staff, very friendly. I would highly recommend .

Fantastic rooms and the breakfast was fantastic! Most places you end up going out for breakfast. Not here! The breakfast was awesome! The rooms are clean and the beds were very comfortable.There was always hot coffee and tea available. Fresh fruit is available. This hotel was just redone and I have to say they did an awesome job on the remodel.

We got the room for a great rate through Priceline. Positives- family friendly continental breakfast, very friendly staff. Negatives- our room smelled strongly of stale smoke even though it was nonsmoking. The drain in the shower backed up. I am a cleanliness snob and probably wouldn't stay here again.

For the most part BW is always gonna be clean and ready (see the foundtrips pic attached).... It's like Whataburger and that's a very good thing. This Best Western is very nicely located about halfway between eastern and western MA north of Boston. The late night and early AM staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Sometimes that's all you need.

Came to town for a basketball tournament with my son and realized I had reserved a room with only one bed. The front desk was able to swap us over to a room with two beds and I couldn't have been more pleased with the fast, friendly service. A very nice room, and very clean. We usually check out early on tournament weekends so we will hit the breakfast and head out. I highly recommend this BW as a stay for anyone in the area. Very economical!

The staff is very welcoming! Our room was very large & well appointed with 2 queen beds, a large refrig & a great hi toilet!!! I have meds to be refriged. Some times it freezes. Not here. Great restaurant next door. Very weird sign on to WiFi. Had to take I pad to front desk. The staff fixed it for me very graciously! Very clean. Would stay again when in the area.

I had an outstanding business stay at the Best Western Plus Chelmsford Inn. The room was spacious, clean, and very quiet. I did not hear any noise from adjacent rooms. The food was excellent and the staff very accommodating. I travel a fair amount each year on business and this hotel was excellent.

During the emergency situation in the Merrimack Valley I happened to stop by here wondering if they had any availability. Looked up reviews real quick on my phone in parking lot and BWP/Chelmsford Inn had a great rating!! Front Office Manager, Maria Campbell. was amazing!!! She advised me to book the whole weekend(just to be safe, if I tried to return after work I wouldn't have a place to stay) because phones where ringing off the hook and guests where walking in looking for rooms. She was pleasant,patient and understanding of all of our situations. My room was great.. Hot shower and electricity did it for me. Place was quiet even though it was booked to capacity. Continental breakfast area had plenty of seats, some of the items could of been better but under the circumstances it was fine. Also to note, every single housekeeper that I walked by in the two days I stayed said "hello", "good morning/evening". Such a warm and friendly place to stay. I would highly recommend this place if in the Chelmsford area or just passing thru.

Before coming to stay at this hotel, I was a bit cautious based on a few of the reviews! I cannot understand how anyone can state that this hotel is Gross! From the minute I arrived two days ago the customer service has been exceptional, my room was very clean, the breakfast staff is close by at all times if you need anything, and there are even warm cookies put out in the afternoon. The location is fantastic as it is close to some stores, right off the hwy, and set back enough from the street that it is quiet at night. I had forgotten toothpaste and quickly learned that the hotel is all set to help out in these type of situations. I am still here for another week or so but am enjoying my stay and can really appreciate the friendly faces of this staff while being so far away from home!

I was in town for not-so-pleasant reasons and when I checked in with the front desk in the late afternoon on a Monday. I had just come from dealing with a very difficult and painful situation. When I then discovered that I had booked my stay for the wrong dates, I wondered how the day could get any worse. One of the first things that the wonderful woman on duty (I am sorry I forgot your name) did was offer me a free water, which I gladly accepted. It was then that Maria came out to assist with the situation. I had booked online through one of the usual popular sites and I had simply screwed up and booked a week later than I had intended. Maria got on the phone right away with the online service and started to iron things out. Maria ended up handing me the phone and I explained what had happened to the online company and then handed the phone back to Maria. The online company had to call me on my cell phone for security and verification purposes and when they did, they told me they could re-book me for the number of nights I wanted starting on that day, which would solve my problem, but it would cost me an additional $104. When Maria overheard me tell my wife that, she spoke up rather loudly and suggested I just cancel it and book directly with the hotel, which they said they would do for the same amount I originally paid when I booked online. I told the rep from the online company that I preferred to just cancel the reservation and after a few minutes, she agreed and we were able to book our two-night stay directly with the hotel and save $104. Maria and the woman working with her that day were awesome and definitely went above and beyond. Our stay was fine and I really don't have any complaints at all. The place was clean and quiet while we were there and the free breakfast in the morning offered a pretty decent variety of things to choose from and was pretty tasty. Overall, it was a good experience by the real highlight was Maria and the nice woman working with her on the front desk that day.

The hotel is gross. The third floor smelled musty and so did our room. The floor was damp and our socks were black. The floor was slippery and I fell. The TV didn't work and there were kids running all over the work out room. We selected the hotel because it had good reviews and a laundry facilities. We got there and was told it didn't work by the front desk only to find folks using it. The bathroom was gross and the sink looked like it was replaced and it was done poorly. The call was exposes and disgusting. Never again.

Learned a lesson today. I travel a lot. The tv in my room wasn't receiving a signal. Was told at the front desk it was a service provider issue and it won't be fixed soon. They offered a reduction in the room rate but because we booked with Expedia, no dice.

I actually stayed here twice in December. The first time was to visit a sick friend and the second time was unfortunately for their funeral. I think I am a jinx for the hotel because we lost power both times I was there. The first time I stayed in the wing and the room was very quiet and nice. The front desk staff was very friendly both times. The second stay was in the tower and that room was just as nice and just as quiet. The free breakfast was a nice touch and housekeeping did a great job on the room both times. I wish I could remember the overnight persons name that was working the front desk on my second stay. I had early flight out Sunday and we lost power Saturday night. He set his own alarm on the phone in case power did not come back on to make sure I was up. Great hotel near highway. The second floor has been updated and the results are beautiful! very clean and modern. Housekeeping staff very kind and helpful. Do not stay on 5th floor not updated yet. When booking make sure to call and ask for updated room the Old rooms show their age especially bathroom. Stay in room looking out towards road in front of hotel not a room that looks out to highway. I hear everything and could hear highway. Room facing convenience store is also quiet. Moonstones restaurant is in front of hotel and is wonderful!

Convenient location, staff helpful and friendly while remaining professional. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The included breakfast with many many choices is excellent. The breakfast dining area is large, airy with a pretty view. Reasonable rates There is a restaurant right next door, not part of the hotel. Food is good.

Pool was closed,because they sent the lifeguard home in the morning when it was raining? Why do you need a lifeguard?....oh but their sister hotel down the road will let you use the pool. Convenient not! The room was not very clean either and recently remodeled? When?

I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time spent with us and that you were unable to take advantage of our outdoor pool that we offer. The outdoor pool is always open (weather permitting) with a lifeguard on duty per the city of Chelmsford. If it had rained earlier in the day and their were possible other showers expected throughout the day then we would not typically open our pool for the remainder of the day. We offer our guests to visit our sister hotel, The Radisson because they offer an indoor pool which is open all year long no matter the weather. Most of our rooms have been recently renovated which would be in our wing section which consists of king size beds with twin pull-out couches and double queen bedded rooms. Our finished renovations include our exterior, lobby, breakfast café and fitness center. We are working on getting the remainder of our hotel fully renovated by the end of 2018. We would love another chance to see you again the next time you're in the Chelmsford/Lowell area so we may have another opportunity to provide you with a more superior experience.

overall good deal for the money, but there is only one small slow elevator. furniture is old fashioned and dark. breakfast has good assortment of food, but egg is fresh during one out of four days. too salty on two days. air con stops by itself at night.

From this outside this is a typical, dull and boring hotel. Could be any chain at all. On the inside it's nice and fresh and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds are comfy to sleep on and I had no trouble with anything else in the room. If I had to pick on anything in the room, the curtains could have been a couple of feet wider to cover the window more.

We had a really nice time at this hotel. Our family was visiting the Boston area and settled in Chelmsford for our sleeping arrangements. The breakfast was a huge hit. The pancake maker was down, but the waffle maker was perfect. In addition, the rooms were really nice and the staff was so pleasant.

Our son attended the Congress of future scientists and technology leaders in Lowell, this was a convenient place to stay. Staff was very friendly, hotel very clean and accommodating. We used the wifi, pool and onsite laundry service. The breakfast was very good, and coffee 24 hours a day.

Family of four with two young kids staying the night. Staff are extremely friendly. Rooms were clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable and air conditioner and refrigerator worked fine. Wifi was fine for our needs. There is a gas station and restaurant right next to the hotel. Price was perfect. Will stay again.

We recently stayed here on our way up to new hampshire. Everyone we encountered was very nice and professional! Room was very nice and overlooked the pool. The pool was clean and delightful The desk recommended a close dinner spot- 110 I believe It was delicious and had a nice patio for eating!

I was very impressed with the hotel and staff. It was clean, quiet, and restful. And the staff was so professional; especially after having a day of work without computers! They were very prompt in getting me checked in and comfortable. Although I didn't try the restaurant nearby, I got take-out delivered from nearby without any problem.

My wife and I decided to stay here on our way to Maine and this was a great stopover. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. We paid a fair price here. Our room was big and spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were fresh and clean. The hotel is easily accessible from I-495 at Exit 34. And there are quite a few stores and restaurants nearby for added convenience. We will definitely stay here again

We've stayed at the Best Western before, and had very few issues ... this time, the telephone rang every five minutes or so ... engineer couldn't fix it, so we pulled the plug and used our cellphones. Also, the electrical socket in the bathroom was installed poorly (upside down?) and the blowdryer supplied couldn't fit in the little space available. That couldn't be fixed either. Another dryer - with a shorter shank - was supplied by housekeeping, since this could not be repaired either. To do BW justice, they offered to change rooms for us - but we were already unpacked and having a very brief stay anyway.

This hotel is located at an easily accessed location. It is clean and the price is reasonable. I have stayed here twice and will return. The staff is friendly. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Bring your own clock, though, as there is no means of telling time in the room.

It feels like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The good side is that the hotel has a new feel to it and large rooms. The bad is that the price was double what I paid for an equivalent room in Roanoke, the night before. The ugly side is getting a voice message from the BW sales office but being asked for a password to retrieve it. When I asked the front desk, I was told they did not use passwords with their voice message! I guess I'm just lucky or a liar....

The FD agent was excellent in recommending dining options. Had a well appointed guest room, that looks like it was recently renovated with a shower. A good choice of amenities in the guest room including a Keurig coffee maker. Would stay again and recommend this hotel.

I would say this is a great place to stay staffs/employee are very nice/friendly I love the checking out time 12pm give enough time to get everything ready..First time at this location we just wanted to have a little get away . but there is something me and my boyfriend were concern about as we arrived to our apartment my boyfriend notice something weird coming out the backpack he brought to the hotel which had inside the clothes he use the night before?? He notices it was a small insects call BedBug he notice two of them and in my apartment we never had no probably with that, we been leaving here for 5 years and nothing close to that... My boyfriend was sure it had to come from the room we stayed cause never had he seen something like that in our apartment especially from his book bag that he only used it with clothes inside for this occasion his very upset about it and is going crazy cleaning our stuff and clothes we used... I Would zoom in a picture so it can be seen very clear of what was in his bag it's very tiny but seems big because of the zoom of the cámara ?? !!! Sorry for this but thanks anyways other than that everything was great I really liked it.. except my boyfriend doesn't feel comfortable about going back..

This newly remodeled( still a bit more to do), is an excellent value for the cost. Our room was clean, attractive, and the bed was good. The breakfast area is very nice with a good selection of hot and cold food. We were there two days and there were different choices of meat and egg types each day. The staff was courteous and helpful. I would recommend this mid line motel for a very comfortable stay in the area.

The remodeling work is very recently completed so the hotel is in very good condition. Its easy to find right of the interstate. The rooms, lobby, and breakfast room are all very nice and new. The lobby has a comfortable sitting area. The breakfast room is very big, plenty of room. The breakfast was good, the usual, including eggs and waffles. The room was comfortable and new. The bathroom was very nice. All the staff were friendly and professional. This in one of the nicer BW's I've stayed in in Mass. I had no complaints at all.

We chose this hotel not just based on location but on familiarity with the brand. We were greeted right away and check-in was efficient and ever so warm and friendly. When asked about a recommendation for dinner, the housekeeper asked all the right questions and we were directed to one of our favorite chain restaurants. Very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast choices were outstanding and someone was always in attendance in case you didn't see something that you needed or wanted. Very good experience.

The first time I came here 18 months ago, this hotel was my only choice. Everything else was sold out. My experience then wasn't worth leaving a review. So I was hesitant to come again... After calling the hotel and hearing they had made some huge changes, I decided to come and try it one more time. I AM SO THRILLED I DID!!! When we first walked in, we were met by the aroma of fresh baked cookies and fruit water! Such a sweet touch. Immediately i could see the changes and was impressed!! Their breakfast room is giant, very clean, and even supplied with an "auto" pancake maker!! Of course my son went right for the waffle station. The colors and art work in the room is very pretty and modern! The bathroom vanity and glass shower are are the perfect compliment to the blue accent wall. Kudos to The Best Western chelmsford. This a hotel to be proud of! I have attached some pictures I took right after checking in!

We had a great stay at the Chelmsford Best Western Inn. The front desk personnel was very pleasant and helpful during check in and check out. The rooms were well decorated and very clean. The cleaning staff also did a great job also. The parking area was well lit and we felt very safe coming and going in the evening. It was also easy on and off access from the highway.

We came into this location late last night and met Evan at the front desk and explained that we had walked a couple hours here and that we had a 3 year old child with us who was exhausted and although we could read that you only accepted credit cards at check in we only had cash and a certain amount. Not only did he offer us a discount, but he allowed us to pay cash for the one time only and had done everything he could to help us get our little one upstairs to the room quickly to get out of the cold and into bed. He was polite, honest, friendly, kind, and was kept everything simple and stress free at our booking and I couldn't have appreciated his professionalism more. Then we were greeted by Sean in the morning who was just as kind and polite, and helpful. We were waiting for funds to be loaded to our card at 2:30pm, however our check out was at noon. Instead of having us check out at noon and wait around in the cold with our little one for a couple hours, he allowed us to stay in the room for a 2pm check out and after speaker to Evan over the phone, they waived the late check out fee. We have only been here for one night and I have been treated better than I ever have at any hotel in my 29 years. I am sure the rest of the staff is just as wonderful but thank you Evan and Sean for making my birthday (1-20) and our night stress-free, comfortable, and easy for not only myself but my family of 3. You both are in the right business, and you put the HOSPITABLE in Hospitality. Thank you from my family to you.

I Enjoyed the company of the hotel staff during my time at the hotel and all of the amenities provided to me by them. The breakfast was delicious. Wi-Fi was on par as you'd normally come to expect from a hotel and i had no issues with connectivity, The only thing i can recommend is getting door stoppers for the doors in the new wing section. The staff was phenomenal and certainly looked like they enjoyed what they do based off of the way they presented themselves.

I left Epping New Hampshire on Wed,DECEMBER 27th 2017@2.30pm. I was going back home to New York after spending CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY with family. As I was traveling on I495 south. All traffic came to a halt ,I believe in Littleton,NH. I was stopped without moving an inch for 5hrs as all lanes were closed due to an awful accident involving a fuel truck and a Ford Focus. After 5 hrs only the left lane was finally opened and traffic was trickling by. I still had a 4hr trip ahead and I just couldn't drive any longer. Thank God Best Western Plus was just an exit away in Chelmsford Mass. I was greeted with the most friendly man,who checked me in immediately. Also to my surprise the price was very reasonable @ less than $99 per Night. The room was exceptionally clean and beautiful,the staff was magnificent, I strongly recommend it! As the final analysis it was indeed an Oasis in a traffic jam.LorenzaC.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Despite the ratings seem low, my room was very clean and new renovated with modern look. Bed was firm and comfortable, it was quite in general. I am on the 2nd floor but did not hear foot steps above.

Checked-in late.... very polite staff at the front-desk. Room clean... but the heating system didn't work properly and the sliding doors of the shower could not stay close... Good place to stay for one night.

Well located just off major hwys. Staff helpful and very nice. Great breakfast room, plenty of space and gluten free muffins, bread, and bagels for me!!! I forgot my purse in the breakfast room one morning and staff turned it into the desk for me. Rooms were large, nice decor, and 2 chairs for comfy reading.

Room was clean and bed was comfy but the bathroom seemed a little small. Not much counter space. The staff was wonderful! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and quick. I was disappointed with the breakfast because their waffle machine was broken and they did not offer an alternative. Eggs had cheese in them, and not everyone likes or can eat cheese. Also, they have Kuerig machines in the rooms but only provide coffee pods. I asked for tea at the front desk but was told they only have coffee but I could get tea in the breakfast area. Doesn't help much for first thing in the morning while I wake up and get dressed. Other than the breakfast, we had a great nights sleep and enjoyed our stay.

The Staff at the Best Western Chelmsford was beyond accomodating and I nearly thought we would rethink southern hospitality as it was very much alive in the North East. This was a resonable motel just off the highway Rt 495 so very handy and a number of restaurants in the area. As often happens in my experience with Best Western the internet connection was not the easiest to connect. My wife had to go back down to get help from the front , desk, we were given a room in the back as requested away from the highway. The breakfast was just OK , but it is free. The hotel is being upgraded so I give them some grace.

I spent 4 nights for a business trip. My stay was pleasant and the room was quiet (facing the pool). However, the view of the room was a bit depressing since the pool is in major need of renovation. The room was adequate with the bed being the best part. The greatest thing about this hotel is the staff, friendly, quick and very professional. I wish they had more in terms of "carry out breakfast". During my stay, the options were only a bagel or a muffin and the coffee quality was not the greatest. Having said all that, I found the stay very pleasant and a great value for the price.

I made a reservation for 3-two beds. When we got there we were assigned a king room. The 2 clerks worked a long time to make the necessary change.A morning clerk was speaking very loudly about personal problems, not professional.The person in charge of breakfast did not keep things filled up; customers had to ask for things. No tables were wiped when customers left. The room was fine, beds were comfortable . Not a "plus" hotel as listed.

Stayed here for business. The hotel is under construction so updates are in progress and hopefully will turn this property into a gem soon. Breakfast food and coffee were very fresh and hot, though the eating area is currently in a part of the hotel entrance that seems out of place. I suspect after renovations are complete this will change. Likewise, my room was a bit on the older-feeling side, but I will again assume that renovations have not yet been done for the room I received. All-in-all I still feel it was of good value for the money.

My nephew got married down the st. At Princeton station, so it was a 5 min drive back. They are doing a lot of renovations!! The front entrance, lobby, & breakfast room! It will be very nice, room was king w frig/micro, comfy mattress, balcony w view of pool, air conditioner was a little noisy? We had a room on 5 th floor at the end of hall, quiet, the breakfast was served in sm lobby area, but we got a table around 8, they had waffles, yogart cheese omlets, Danish ,oatmeal w dried pineapple, cranberries! Nice touch! Late checkout at 12 ,but we left for apple picking! Front desk was very professional & friendly ,we got a nice group rate! So great night, highly reccommend! Only negative was There was cigarette marks on sink?

I "landed" in the hotel after landing in Logan following a long flight from home. I requested a quiet room, but unfortunately, got a room where I heard traffic noise. I left the A/C fan working at night to help mask the traffic noise. I think that the hotel renovations may not have left rooms facing the more "quiet" direction. The renovations themselves did not disturb me in any other way. The service of the reception was excellent. The location is convenient, next to I-495. I may consider staying there again after they complete the renovations and only if the room face away from the highway.

Everyone I encountered on my one night stay here was great! I would have been able to get an early check-in, but I wasn't able to get there during the day, so instead had to check-in at 1 AM! They were so friendly when I checked in. Then the next day, I requested a late check-out and got that with no question either! It was so nice to be able to relax in the room a little longer. The bed was so comfortable and breakfast was very good with great options!

Came from out of state for the funeral and was thankful for the rate of the room. The trip was unexpected, and the Bereavement price was nice. The staff was courteous and helpful with directions. Extra towels were delivered when asked for.

Pretty much everything was better than average. We love Best Western plus hotels and this was not the most outstanding or one we had specific hotel issues with. Try to get a room away from the night club outside because their noisy party lasted till 3am one of the nights we were there. Very good location to getting on and off the interstate and out of the Boston traffic chaos.

No hassles, good amenities, friendly staff, easy on/off from the Interstate. Even though parts of building were under renovation in summer 2017, everything worked and was well-maintained. There is even an outdoor swimming pool!

This has been the best Best Western experience I've ever had, even though half the hotel was under renovation! The room was top-notch clean. Not just clean, but VERY clean! The breakfast wasn't your typical McDonald's or breakfast to-go food ordered from some fast food diner. It was a whole selection of American breakfast items. Tub full of bacon, tub full of omelettes, variety of cereal, waffles, bagels, muffins, breads... coffee, cariety of juices, wonderful breakfast selection! I actually took photos to share!

The front desk staff in particular are very helpful and a good asset for the hotel. The rates for value is ok. But the rooms need updating, TV`s are dated, beds are are ok, but in general were clean. The bathrooms are adequate. My room had a desk w a wobbly leg. For this area, I would recommend the hotel in comparison to nearby competition.

I was in Lowell for a sporting event and needed a room nearby. The room was very comfortable and the staff very accommodating. It seemed the hotel was going through some renovations which will probably be nice in the future, however, this had no impact on my stay. I was also pleased with the 12:00 pm check out time as it gave me time to return to the hotel to shower and pack before leaving.

We were driving up from NJ to Maine. We needed a break somewhere on the road. We chose this hotel as it was right by I-495. Then, it was a nice surprise. Very enjoyable stay ! The restaurant in front was very eclectic and different, yet good.

Having stayed in perhaps 40 Best Westerns, of which most were "BW Plus", we know what to expect. This one did not come close. In lobby, they never have coffee, tea, water. At breakfast, no waffle or pancake. In room, handles nearly fell off door to bathroom and on the sink. Altogether, a bad stay, so we heartily suggest that you drive further north to BW in Concord, New Hampshire, which offers the usual excellent BW experience.

Simply stated, we travel the USA a lot...and nearly always us Travel Discount Coupons. BW would not allow us to use the coupon. They were not sold out, but refused to allow us to use it. Manager on duty was nonchalant about why we could not use the coupon. I am a Rewards Member, and felt put out about my treatment.

Recommended for reasonably priced visits to greater Lowell, MA area. Convenient location. No hassles check in and check out. Clean room. Renovations in progress to upgrade. Only negatives were limited tv channel selection and unheated , very cold in ground pool.

We were greeted by "Evan," who could not have been more welcoming, polite, and accommodating. There are construction and renovations going on, but the hotel is still good with clean, spacious rooms. Though there is no laundry on site, there is a 24/7 huge laundramat nearby. Breakfast was okay, but due to the renovations the breakfast attendant had to run from a storage area for pantry items not sufficiently nearby. That said, under the circumstances they are managing guests well.

I was getting tired driving home for NH and stopped at this hotel whcih is right off the highway. It was 3 am and the night staff person could not have been nicer. She checked me in, told me about breakfast and where it would be served. Room was lovely and very clean. Internet was free and worked well. Will stop again the next time I need to stop on the way home.

They're doing well at the Best Western - it looks like a new wing is being added, and some indoor work is being done also. I think a new breakfast room is in the offing. None of this got in our way. Our room was good, clean, breakfast was nice, and if one avoids all the sugary danishes, one can eat nicely. Coffee was good. Staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful. I must mention that we had to change keys two times because they didn't work, and for about an hour we had no hot water. Pool was good. Location is very good, just off Rte 495.

Complained of cigarette smoke smell on first night but nothing was done to trace the culprit the next two days we were there. Otherwise the stay was good. I do not wish to bad mouth hotel except for the one smoke problem which could have been a arrogant customer with no respect for other customers. Get a room on this fifth floor. The furnishings are new and the bed was so comfortable. Best sleep on the road ever. The staff was so polite and professional. The breakfast was well laid out and very tasty. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is under renovation and that crests odors and discomfort. The milk at breakfast was sour but was replaced at once when I informed the staff about it . The room was dark but comfortable. The microwave was missing but was brought it quite fast when I asked for it .

Room is good, very clean, staff is awesome, both professional and friendly. There is a noise problem from the highway but the only other hotel in Chelmsford has the same problem. Good breakfast, coffee pretty good, I think they use Dunkin Donut brand. There are several places to have supper but when I stayed there last year the on-site restaurant was kind of a yuppy atmosphere, overpriced for the serving amounts (supper is my one meal of the day) and the bourbon was watered. The hotel is good, though.

The headboard literally fell off the wall when we walked into the room and fell onto the bed. Luckily no one was hurt. They were notified right away. They said someone would fix it in the morning but no one ever did. It remained off the wall until we left the next day. I asked for them to refund my money for one of the two nights but they refused and offered me 20% off one nights stay instead. I said it was unacceptable. They refused to do anything more about it.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 9 months for business and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. The complimentary breakfast includes eggs and either bacon or sausage plus make your own waffles. The outdoor pool & work out room are small but nice. They are currently renovating some rooms but I didn't hear any noise from this.

Arrived late and the staff member was quite pleasant. Overall the room was quite average with nothing to make it stand out in a crowd. The shower and wash room facilities were tired and took quite a bit of coaxing to work. All in all an average experience

Clean, quiet, large room. Very very friendly with awesome breakfast. Cant think of anything missing. They are renovating so its not a new property but quiet safe neighborhood. Took us 32 minutes to downtown Boston

The good: Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of self serve options. Rooms are clean and adequate. Prices are lower here than in Billerica. There are stores restaurants and businesses nearby. The not so good: The highway is very close by so the truck noise will be a bother to anyone who is sensitive to noise. Request to stay on the first floor or bring ear plugs.

All features of the hotel and room were very good quality. The crowning surprise of the stay was the breakfast this hotel serves. Variety, presentation, and quality of the food were well above average. For once it wasn't all just carbs!

I and my 17 year old granddaughter were traveling back from Florida to Maine. We were trying to make it home but just couldn't do anymore miles this night, So pull off on exit and found this BW I was thinking oh be this nights sleep is going to cost me a pretty penny!! I told the lady at the desk why I needed a room, she then told me the room price , then she offered me to sign up for the BW card which was as easy as just saying yes!! It saved me a nice little chunk of change. Our room was big, nice ,comfortable, Breakfast was great!! would stay at this Hotel again!

Friendly attentive staff, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Good shower!! The free breakfast was also a pleasant surprise. They offered, make your own waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, breads, pastries,yogurt and fruit. Plus coffee, tea and juice. Great way to start the day.

A/C worked poorly/could not open windows bed horribly stiff tv had 30ish channels, 1/3 out of order The bed had a bottom sheet, a super slim 'down imitation layer and then another sheet. Did they just not give us any sort of regular comforter? Cool staff, but inconsistency of rooms will lead me to avoid here in the future.

I was apprehensive to try this chain, we typically stick to Marriott or Hilton hotels but, it was close and we needed to be somewhere very early with small kids and breakfast was included so, how bad could it be? After reserving another member of our team (youth sporting event 4 families) mentioned that breakfast didn't start until 7AM and we needed to leave by then. I called prepared to cancel but, they accommodated us and opened breakfast 30 minutes early:) Pleased before check in! The actual stay: The lobby was average not the best smell but, the front desk woman was friendly...a little chatty but super nice. Rooms were clean and a good size, the bathroom definitely could have been cleaned better. I wanted to give the kids a bath but, opted for shower based on level of cleanliness. It wasn't dirty really but not super clean either. There was a decent sized fridge and the pillows seemed close to brand new. Main room wa above average for cleanliness. I found the room to be quiet for a hotel too and we were close to the elevator which it typically louder. We also ate at the adjacent restaurant, definitely over priced for what it was and not really a kid friendly menu but, they didn't bat an eye at a few cocktails 3 appetizers and 12 shirley temples so, it wasn't uncomfortable either. Breakfast, which they opened early for us is where they overachieved in my opinion. Huge variety, hot eggs, bacon and a waffle station HUGE plus, an entire gluten free table. gluten free muffin, bread (separate toaster) gf cereals. As someone with Celiac, I usually grab a banana and coffee at hotel breakfasts but, I went all in. I really appreciated the early opening and everyone was pleasant:) I will not be afraid to try Best Westerns any more.

Lots of good things going on at this hotel, especially the staff! The outside appearance and some areas inside are rather run down looking or drab. The rooms themselves are spacious and nice. Everything worked well in room and fitness center. Rooms cleaned and beds made everyday.

We normally don't stay in Best Western but since this was a plus and we were in the area we thought we'd try it - it's tired and needs remodeling. We were in a handicap room near the elevator that was going to be repaired the next day so in the morning we carried all our things down the stairs and the elevator was still working. They had told us the night before to not to use the elevator in the morning. The room needed updated badly - patches on the wall from holes, old looking carpeting - how this is a plus I'll not know. The breakfast in the morning was okay. Sorry to rate it so mediocre but it is what it is.

I found this hotel online, & it was great. The location was easy on & off 495, yet there was a cute little retail are nearby with lots of restaurant choices. There was also a paved walking/ running path nearby through the woods. The hotel rooms were large, clean, & comfortable. Breakfast was included, & there was a large selection of foods from yogurt, cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, eggs, make-your-own waffles, ... . The front desk people were friendly & helpful, especially Evan. We signed up for their rewards program & will look for these hotels when traveling.

The beds are so comfortable and the room is spacious. We had a king-sized bed room with two comfortable chairs to view TV from. It had a balcony with two chairs outside. We also had a desk with chair.. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast room was spacious. We really thought the staff was helpful and nice--both lobby clerks and maids. It had a refrigerator, but no microwave--in the room. The breakfast was better than most. We enjoyed our stay.

A few steps above a Motel 6 or Econo Lodge. If you pay about $80 a night (with a bidding site) you feel OK about this purchase. If you end up paying closer to $126 you will feel ripped off. Once you leave the lobby & dining area much of it seems worn out, faded. Odd rug odors seemed to permeate different floors. But first the basics: Comfortable bed, quiet AC, large rooms, EXCELLENT FRONT DESK SERVICE, nice continental breakfast with hot items. Small fitness center, computer are for business. I did not feel nervous about parking our car out front. The location isnt bad for getting in to Boston or Worcester, about 45 minutes. Did not check out the pool since it was Sept. Now the negatives: Stains on our bedding, places where things were removed from the walls had wholes and crumbles, the halls look like institutional dorms from 1950, hair left in our shower. Not the hotels fault, but I feel compelled to advise people: 1.Numerous times did we see guys walking around covered in tatoos with no shirts on, sometimes smoking outside the hotel. 2. Someone on our floor was smoking pot and the smell drifted under everyone's door. 3. Someone on our floor had a little party with middle eastern music and spicy food. I grew up near NYC so I'm well accustomed to this. I don't mind it if I'm throwing the shin-ding, but wouldnt do that at 1 am when others are trying to sleep in a hotel. So to wrap up, I guess this place is OK for a quick stay on a budget. But keep in mind that either the location, or price, seemed to attract a certain clientele the night we were there. Felt a bit shady. It's not really the hotels fault, so I bumped this up a notch to 3 stars. We probably will not stay there again. Also, they are undergoing renovations so I think improvements are on the way.

My husband and I stopped over night while traveling back from Maine. Gentleman that helped me at check in was very nice and informative. Room was the standard off the highway hotel pretty much no frills. They did offer free breakfast in morning did not have but dinning area very clean and looked like a decent assortment of stuff for a free breakfast.

The elevator didn't work, the room smelled like smoke, no HBO or premium channels, slow wifi, loud fan in bathroom, very outdated bathroom, noise from parking lot all night,and the bed was uncomfortable .However,the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good with plenty of room.

recently stayed overnight at this hotel, as I had a family party in nearby Tyngsboro. It's in a perfect location, right off I-495, and a short drive to the Lowell train station. No real complaints with this hotel. I do have to give a shout-out to Jasmine (?) who checked me in. I called the hotel the night before to request an early check-in. I arrived at the time I mentioned, and the check-in went smoothly. Also, as I left the hotel to head to the party, Jasmine asked if everything was ok with the room. I can't recall ever being asked at any other hotel, if everything was ok with the room. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

"Convenient Stop near Rt 495"

On our way from NJ to Maine to vacation we now stop overnight at the Best Western in Chelmsford. We travel on a Friday and can just make it to Chelmsford before the traffic becomes impossible. We don't travel all the way up on a Saturday because then the traffic is guaranteed to be impossible). It is a lovely stop with restaurants, shopping and movies nearby. The room was clean and very comfortable and the free breakfast was ample and diverse. This was our second stop there and we plan to stop there next year.

I would recommend anybody to stay at this hotel. It was clean, even with a small remodel happening. Staff could not do enough to be helpful. The desk person remembered our name from a prior stay about a month ago. They were very helpful with information about amenities in the area as well as directions.

I have been at several Best Western Hotels recently and this hotel exceeded my expectations. I decidedly to go there because of the outdoor pool. I went to this location while my fiancé was working and then he would stay after work. My main focus was for relaxation. The only thing I would like to mention is- I would like a Jacuzzi outside near the pool.

Very nice place to spend the night. It was very clean. The elevator was fast enough. Breakfast had a wide range to choose from-- which included a gluten-free bar. I thought that definitely was a "Plus" for many who need that.

The motel is conveniently located and the room includes a balcony. Very clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant within walking distance. Location is just off I-495 in Chelmsford. A member of the staff at this BW went out of her way to make my stay enjoyable.

Two days ago,my husband, son and I stopped in looking for vacancy about half-way home.We had a coupon from the discount book on the Pike. We were offered a better room at a nominal extra cost and we were very happy with it. Maria was very sweet, and even called to check on our satisfaction with the room. The lifeguard was very accommodating with our son, having only a few minutes to swim before closing. The next morning, the breakfast was wonderful. I appreciated the gluten-free options (on a separate table, no less!) I thanked the manager (Debbie?) for that, as some places do not have many choices for us celiacs. Overall, great stay for tired travelers!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was very clean, the room was very nice with comfortable pillows and beds and a great shower. We enjoyed the breakfast with lots of hot and cold options. The waffles were delicious! We definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

We stayed 6 nights in room 345. Room was large with a balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are wanting to head downtown into Boston leave early as traffic into the city is horrendous. We ended up leaving the hotel just after 6am in order to get a good run into town. Breakfast has a selection of hot/cold foods - adequate for our needs. For the price we could not have asked for anything more

We had two different rooms over a short period of time and both rooms were excellent. The first had outstanding features, the second room had normal features but was still better than expected. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were good.

We stayed at BW Chemlsforf for three night with our grand son who was atending a Hockey Showcase at UMass. Our stay was pleasant in all aspects = room, breakfast, wifi, tv, ... and especially staf members. Price of room was very reasonable. BW is usually our hotel preference and, at Chemlsford were were not decived. If ever again in the area, we will stay there again. Special mention: a royal treament during our 3-day stay in Lowell, it was Folk Festival at Lowell weekend. Being a Cajun, bluegrass and fiddlers fans, we were just thrilled. Super weekend. "Ok for a one night stay"

Stayed here on our way home to Pennsylvania from Maine. It was fine for a one night stay. Breakfast was great-lots of options! Beds were comfy but there were ants in the bathroom and the wifi was spotty. Our room was not ready for us at 3:30 when check in is at 3:00. That was a bit frustrating. The pool was very nice and staff was friendly.

Our daughter was delivering our first granddaughter and we needed a place to stay the night. This hotel was the only one with a room in a 25 mile radius (except for one very overpriced Comfort Inn). We we accommodated at 4 in the AM and the accommodations were very comfortable.

It was worth the money we paid. i would stay there again. Located close to many restaurants and shopping places and right off the highway. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Pool was clean and maintained.

We stayed here on a day that reached into the mid to high 90s for temps. While that is unusual for this part of the country, it still routinely gets up into the 80s at this time of year. What a shock to realize that the extremely slow elevator and the corridors above the first floor (the hotel has 5 total) were not air conditioned. I could not imagine the poor housekeeping staff working in those conditions. The floor in our room appeared to have been vacuumed in a rush based on the pretzel crumbs between the wall and the bed and the buildup of detritus (grass pieces, crumbs, dust) in the harder to access areas. The bathroom floor looked like it had been mopped without being swept first based on the large quantity of long black hair stuck to it. I let the front desk know and they sent someone up to take care of it while we were out but I was surprised to encounter that at a BW PLUS. So not my best experience at a BW but it wouldn't keep me from giving them another shot. Maybe not at the height of summer though.

Fine for our trip, but nothing exceptional about the hotel. Our hot water was turned off for a day and a half. The hot and cold were also switched in the bathroom. The breakfast was a large display, although few healthy options. The location was nice and provided easy access to the highway. Overall, not great, but fine for a place to sleep.

Don't be misled by the 5-story brick building you spot when entering the parking lot of this Best Western. It is always clean, well kept up, and has staff that is anxious to server their customers! We've stayed here many times, and each time are pleased. If a problem is encountered, it is remedied quickly.

Every employee I came in contact with was beyond helpful and sincerely nice!! I received a call prior to our teams arrival asking if we needed breakfast at a certain time as our team was playing early both Saturday and Sunday. They switched the normal opening of breakfast from 7am to 6am to accommodate our team and their families. So very helpful and appreciated!!

We spent the night at this hotel while we were passing through. It was nice. Basic and clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and gracious. The lobby is being redecorated so there was not much there, and there was a strong odor of paint and new carpet, but the odor did not affect the guest room. I imagine this will only last until the project is done, no big deal. The bathroom in our room needed some upgrades. It was clean, but definitely older. The sink faucet dripped, and it was difficult to control temperature. Some of the wallpaper was peeling. But, again, it was very clean. The TV is through DirectTV, and it was a somewhat stormy night, so the reception was terrible, and about 6 channels were out entirely. When we woke in the morning all of the channels came in and were very clear. The bed was very comfortable. We had dinner and drinks at Moonbeams, across the parking lot. Really very very convenient, tasty food, and a nice bar. This is a decent, clean, friendly hotel.

This Best Western hotel seems old and dated. Even though they say they have updated the rooms the mismatched light switches and rusty screws in the bathtub make me believe otherwise. The fan comes on in the bathroom even if you only want light since there is only one ugly brown switch. it is loud and prevented me from listening to the morning news as i got ready. The one elevator is terrible slow. The lobby was being painted and roped off with it seemingly no one working on it the entire 5 days I stayed.

We stayed for a conference in Lowell. Great location with an easy commute to UMass Lowell. Staff was super friendly and offered directions and ideas for our free time. The ease of the commute to the Train Station for a relaxing trip into to Boston is Great! If we find ourselves again here we will most certainly be laying our heads to rest here again.

We stayed only one night here during a weekend road trip that included a visit to historic Lowell. This hotel is just a short drive from Lowell. We very much enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff was extremely personable and the young man who checked us in also gave us a phone call to make sure everything was okay. I really appreciate that kind of service! We had a basic double room with two beds. Although the decor seems a little tired, the room was extremely clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. A small refrigerator and a Keurig coffeemaker were in the room. The television channels are not plentiful , but the TV reception was good. There is an outdoor pool that closed early, at 7pm, so we did not get to use it. Although we were given access to the free wifi, the service did not work when I signed on. It was not a big deal for us, but it could be for others. I would have mentioned it to the staff if it had been an issue for me. Breakfast is included in a lovely breakfast room, and the offerings are basic, but adequate, and include several gluten-free choices. There is free parking for hotel guests. The lobby area is currently under renovation, and I hope there are plans to renovate the rooms as well. I would love to give this hotel five stars across the board; I absolutely give it five stars for service, comfort, cleanliness, and value.

The rooms are not clean, lobby and reception area are a mess, rooms are old , furniture are shabby, mattress is worn out and needs replacement , yet charged full price. If you are looking for a decent business stay, its not recommended.

As we learned from 2 other hotels, not only was the green book discount not usuable, but the hotels were full. There was no room in the Inn. As panic began to set in, my wife began to call hotels on the way. Evan Leduc was on the front desk when she called THE BEST WESTERN PLUS CHELMSFORD INN in Mass. Evan told us they wern't taking the green book rate but gave us a great AAA rate. When we arrive 30 minutes later he recognized my wife's voice from the phone and welcomed us. We had a well appointed king size bed and several chairs. The lighting in the room was great. Most have lower wattage bulbs. The lamps all had 2 outlets in the base so phone charging was easy. The desk was away from the AC so that you could sit at the desk and not freeze. The shower was excellent and maintained the same temperature. The bed was VERY COMFORTABLE. Some people have complained about a bare bones free continental breakfast. You are wrong. I have rated many breakfasts. This one was great. I watched the 13 year old boy make 6 pancakes for his family. Therewas a larger than usual selection of cereals. The blueberry muffins were fresh. There were eggs and bacon, hot packet of cereal. There were fruit, bagals, danish,. There were several different kinds of coffee. The room was divided up in stations all around so there were never long lines. YES, I ENJOYED MY STAY. If I can arrange it we will stay here again next week on our way home from Maine.. Thank you for a great stay

"Surprisingly Great Stay"

We stayed here while attending a UMASS Lowell graduation. When we booked it was for distance to the graduation with low expectations. When we got our room it was standard. Comfortable queen size bed, cute little "lounge" area and a nice sized bathroom. Everything was clean and the balcony overlooked the back of the hotel... which we were shocked! They have a huge fenced in pool and large "backyard" area. Nicely kept grounds. The offer free breakfast which included a make you own waffle station with all the fixins, a build your own breakfast sandwich station, an oatmeal station and cereal options. Coffee and juices as well as pastries were also available. The front desk was helpful and overall we had a great stay!

My bill was wrong. It was a simple fix. It wasn't even a matter of the charges. After 3 requests and no response, I realized they simply do NOT care. The coffee maker didn't work and they had no solution for that.

Sorry I will not recommend it to someone The sheet on the bed was not clean, there was a lot of hair on it, the cleanliness is the most important thing for me. I have asked the house keeping to change the sheet and the pillow covers.

We had stayed many times in the area of this hotel, but had stayed at the dirty Radisson because the Best Western did not look appealing from the outside. We took a chance and were given a room on the fourth floor of the newer section and were very, very pleased with the comfort, cleanliness, odor of the room and floor, and the friendliness of the staff. Will definately stay again.

This hotel is deserving of the PLUS. The staff is so friendly that I feel like I've known them for years. When walking through the lobby to breakfast, they used my name to ask how my room was last night - amazing. My room was huge with a livingroom area with a full sofa and a chair and was very clean. Though the pool in the backyard wasn't open yet, it crystal clear and the grass in the backyard looks like a golf course. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The breakfast buffet was the best! You could get anything you wanted - bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, all kinds of fruit and fruit toppings, all kinds of breads and pastries, waffles, cereal, yogurt. Also places to hang out in upholstered chairs in the hallway. Very helpful staff. Would definitely go back here!

I am a frequent traveler and hate to respond to the numerous surveys I receive but feel I need to make an exception for this hotel. Every time I stay at this hotel, the service is outstanding and the front desk staff is so friendly including the breakfast ladies. The room is always immaculately clean and they are doing renovations too. They always ask me to share my comments so here you go !!!

This hotel was overall good choice, close to highway (maybe too close), 5 minutes from train station, good breakfast choices. restaurants are nearby, shopping. Hotel staff was courteous, very helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good, clean and had a lot of selections.

Stayed three days while doing business in the area. Our room was very big with a sofa, desk and king bed. Housekeeper did a great job cleaning every day. Free breakfast was great with lots of selections. Front desk workers were always smiling and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was nice, a little older but clean and nice. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The hotel is a nice long ways away from the happenings in Boston(DOWNTOWN). My commute daily was 30-45 minutes depending on traffic but it was very quiet. The room was quite big with a sit out balcony. The furniture in the room was older. The hotel also comes with a microwave and fridge. Not bad though. Very close to Walmart and shopping areas.

The hotel was clean. The room was spacious . The staff was pleasant. It is well situated with easy access to Highway. Tv reception could be better. Free access to WIFI. Breakfast was the best free breakfast we have ever had. Staff was friendly. They even had gluten-free food.

What a pleasant surprise it was to stop at this hotel this past weekend on our way home to Canada. We have never stayed her before but will definitely stay here again next fall on our way south for the winter. The front desk staff was very friendly both when we arrived and when we left. Our room was huge with a king bed and very clean. Breakfast in the morning is more than we could eat - many choices.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but, the first night no shampoo in the bathroom (it had two conditioners). It was alright though, I always carry my own as a back up. The complimentary breakfast had those horrible eggs wrapped around velvetta. One night would have been fine, but, we were to stay in the area for six nights. Every time we used a cup they would take away the next day, without replacing it. Finally had to go the front desk and ask for more. Chelmsford was established in 1655, lots of history. But, the hotel didn't even have a city map (first hotel I've been to that didn't.). No menu of TV programs (I guess they got the cheapest cable contract they could). Six nights and every night had a different rate, $108 to $135 plus taxes. $108 on the weekend and the higher rates during the week (I guess they wanted to make up for lower occupancy during the week). Don't get a room that adjoins another, you can hear every word and sound in the next room through the loose fitting door.

What a nice hotel this is... When we arrived after a long day of traveling, the young man at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. He had wonderful suggestions to eat as we were hungry yet tired and didn't want to drive any further. He even called us once we got to our room to make sure we were all set. The breakfast in the morning was terrific with so many choices. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was clean, but the bathroom was in desparate need of updating. Shower water was impossible to regulate. Lighting was poor. Our room was very close to highway, and the windows were not sound insulating.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Awesome bed. Nice room. I travel to Chelmsford on a regular basis and have stayed at a number of hotels in the area and always come back to the Best Western. The staff at the front desk is always friendly and attentative. The rooms are clean and I all the new changes in the rooms are terrific. They recently changed their breakfast room to a much larger room which is much more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had no expectations coming here, but was beyond happy with the place. Front desk clerk kept apologizing when I asked her to change our room because it was dirty. I kept reassuring her that it wasn't her fault. The room we switched to was clean and comfortable with a coffee maker, micro, and fridge. Not noisy at all. Breakfast was amazing. Debbie pointed out the g/f table, and the offerings were plentiful and delicious. Price is right.

I stayed for a week from 11-jul-15 till 16-jul-15. Had to opt for this place at the last moment as i could not get a reservation at the Marriott. There was no big expectations for this place, but i was not disappointed at all. Nice clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast spread at the restaurant was very good and wholesome. The staff at the reception was very polite. Overall a very good place if looking out for a economic hotel and a short stay for business.

What a great location this hotel is !!! We were visiting family near Boston but didn't want to pay the high rates they charge in the city so we decided to give this place a try. It is really easy to get on and off the highway. The rooms were clean and very big..... lots of space. The breakfast in the morning was in the huge room and had eggs, bacon and waffle that were delicious. The front desk staff was very friendly and told us about the train that is only 2 miles away and goes into the city. Will definitely stay here again.

great location just off of the interstate, close to restaurants, etc. All of the staff that we spoke to were friendly. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and pillows were great. There was a hot and cold breakfast served which was great. Overall, we would stay at this Inn again if we were traveling this way.

This is the best - Best Western we've stayed at !!! We are seniors and do a lot of traveling and have stayed with many different hotel brands and like most of them. This Best Western was exceptional. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. The room is very spacious and clean. They told me I was in one of their newly renovated rooms and it was great ! They were also doing the hallway wallpaper on another floor. The breakfast room was huge with lots of choices. There is a restaurant right beside the property that had excellent food. We would highly recommend this place.

The place is not bad looking but there was what looked like dried blood running down the molding and door in the bathroom behind the door and some sort of red thing about 2" long on the floor behind the bathroom door. Yuck!! The bed was hard. Normally 3 star AAA rooms have better beds than this. It looked clean but the stains were just yucky. When we checked out there was a woman standing at the counter who was in what looked like a uniform for someone working in housekeeping. When I started to tell the nice woman at the at the front desk about the blood stains the woman in the uniform turned her back on me and stood there. Stay off the 5th floor. We thought we were near a busy highway but when we called down to the front desk we were told it was the furnaces on the roof. They offered to move us down but we were in pjs and tired. The breakfast "pastries"were stale. The waffle maker was all set up but would not work. They said they had had an electrician working for some time now to get the electrical problem fixed so it would work but they could net get it to run on the circuit it was on. It was a large room with countertops in 3 separate places. Maybe they should have tried it across the room on another plug. The young man who made our reservations checked us in was great. Disappointing location I have photos but do not know how to move them from my phone to this listing.

Room was comfortable. King bed was great for 5 nights. 2 chairs, for extra sitting area. room got a bit stuffy, but not too bad for sleeping. Problem - toilet was SO loud when flushing, I asked my hubby to please keep the door closed until it finished filling,especially in the middle of the night. Reminded us of a toilet in the school gym. Elevator was out for 4 weeks, mid Dec to mid Jan. They wanted to give us a room on the 3rd floor. Since I made my reservation way back on Oct 9th, I refused, stating that all the first floor rooms could not be filled with people who booked before me. We were not even offered help to bring our luggage up the stairs, so I refused 3rd floor and got a first floor. So much better. Awesome location to get right on 495. Perfect for us to get to Tewksbury and Maynard. Breakfast was good. Yogurt, egg with cheese, bacon or sausage, small already made waffles, dried cereal, oranges, variety of bagels, danish and muffins. We stayed in the room till noon on Christmas day, so we never got the room cleaned. Had to go get new towels at the front desk, they delivered they to our room. We will stay again, it was a great stay.

We stayed at this hotel for Thanksgiving. The accommodations were first rate but it was the staff that was memorable. Early in the morning; late at night they truly seemed pleased to see you and eager to help. They made the trip even more celebratory.

Check-in was efficient and friendly, and the staff was uniformly pleasant during our 3 day stay. Room was clean - but we had to ask, at about 4:00 in the afternoon, for it to be cleaned for the day. A communication mistake, we were told. Oddly enough, the hair dryer would only blow cold air. I've never had that issue before, and I've been intimate with blow dryers for more years than I'd like to count. Breakfast: not imaginative, and for the most part not tasty. Cold cereal was fine. Coffee was good. Sweet rolls tasted packaged, and I did not taste the egg patties...they looked unappetizing. As I said, staff was always helpful.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Chelmsford,MA and we had roaches in our room. It was nasty. My son killed a huge one in the bathroom the first night we were here, we thought it was an isolated incident, but not even 2 days later I had a drink on the night stand at night and found 2 baby ones in my drink within 10 min of me pouring it. My family and I are very disappointed and grossed out.

This is one you can avoid. The longest check in process I have ever had. And not only that but unfriendly to boot! The room was unclean...trash in the corner, hairs on the bathroom floor. And also in bad need of some repairs ...the cabinet door was hanging on by one broken hinge, wall paper was peeling. This place is in bad need of updating and some good care.

This hotel was a nightmare. I'm giving it a 2 star simply because the room was clean and the bed fairly comfortable. Everything else was horrible. The hotel is dark and stark and looks like something from the 50's. The elevator was tiny and had no AC , which was also true of the hallways. This was problematic due to the hot summer temps. The room AC unit was very old and clanky and cycled every 5-10 minutes, which woke me up frequently during the night. The toilet seat was very close to the floor and the seat was loose. There was a tiny cheap fridge in the room and food fell out whenever the door was opened. One of our bath towels was filthy when we checked in, and when I attempted to get a replacement, was given a tiny towel since they said they were out of fresh towels. The wifi continually kicked us off our devices and we eventually had to stop using them. After we checked in, we learned that the hotel is a Section 8 hotel, which accepts low income housing in certain situations. A workman not affiliated with the hotel told us that" this property is always crazy." Breakfast was terrible, and there were old black bananas offered. AAA rates this hotel 3* ----- how is that possible? We couldn't wait to check out!

On our way back South for the winter and stayed in Chelmsford, MA again. We usually stay at the Best Western and thought about trying a different hotel in the area but why change something that is good...it was the right decision. Everytime we stay here the staff is fantastic and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We love the restaurant beside the hotel, Moonstones, and enjoy not having to drive anywhere to get a great meal after a long day of traveling. The manager told us about a lot of changes coming soon ... we look forward to seeing them when we come back for the holidays.

We were checked in right away, staff was excellent very helpful. Rooms were great. We were running late to catch the train and John an employee drive us to the train station! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this Best Western Plus in Chelmsford, MA for 6 nights for family gathering and 50th school reunion. We found it to be extremely clean and the staff was most helpful in answering questions concerning restaurants, etc. It is close enough to drive into Boston for sightseeing as well as Lowell. Would stay again.

We stayed 2 days this trip and was pleased with the service provided. I would recommend this motel to anyone. Room was very clean. Breakfast was OK. Many items to choose from. The room was very clean, service was good. People very friendly and helpful.

I made reservations for my sons wedding night. I am from Syracuse, NY and booked a room for me & my sons wedding night. I spoke with Laura at the front desk who was absolutely an awesome & amazing young lady who gave me excellent customer service. she is making my sons evening an extra special one for sure. her compassion & understanding to my request were over the top. Very comfortable and quiet hotel near expressway. Attractive inside and out. Rooms were very clean. There are a number or restaurants located near by. Everything was comfortable for us for our one night stay..

The hotel staff was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was a much cheaper option than the Best Western in Concord while only being about 30 minutes away from Concord and Walden Pond. The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the unreliable wi-fi.

The facade of this hotel does not do the inside justice. The room was wonderful, exceptionally clean and roomy. The next time we visit we will request a balcony room. It would have been lovely to sit out in the sun. The halls are spacious, lobby is lovely and the staff were very helpful. My only negative comment would be the size of the breakfast room. There was enough room when we went to breakfast because we were extremely early but it is tiny and if it had been full it would have been uncomfortable. A great continental breakfast!

We were on a road trip and picked up one of those coupon books from the highway rest areas. We struck out at the first coupon we picked and tried this hotel. We asked if the rate was still available and were told that it was not, but that for $10 we could "upgrade" to a room with 2 full beds. We were tired and accepted the room, but my wife became miffed as going from queen beds to full is by no means an upgrade. She complained to the day clerk the next day to no avail. That being said, the room was nice enough but the full bed did cramp our sleep somewhat. I guess it's been a while since we slept on a full size bed. Breakfast was very good with a good assortment of hot and cold foods. The only other snag we had was that we had left home without my BW rewards card and at check in, I asked if he could look that up. He said he would and add our stay to our account, but that never happened. I'm having to appeal with the rewards site.

My room smelled like cigarette smoke, especially in the bathroom. A very unpleasant experience to deal with after committing to this hotel for a two-day in-room business planning session. I called for help and the front desk person sounded annoyed like this happens all the time. Also, the breakfast was TERRIBLE. Bacon was like jerky, eggs were dry.

"Awful Customer Service"

I booked this hotel through hotels.com and for some reason, google filled in the dates incorrectly. I called the hotel directly and changed the date, no problem. I called back two days later to confirm the new date, and I was all set. Until I arrived there at 11pm and was "greeted" with awful service. Tina, at the front desk, told me there was a problem with the reservation because even though the front desk confirmed my date change, they couldn't really change the date through their system, I had to call hotels.com directly. As a result, my reservation was cancelled. I asked her why she didn't call me if there was a problem and she said, "That's not my job!" I said, "Taking care of my reservation is exactly your job, if you knew there was a problem, you should have called me. Why didn't you just call?" Then she told me, "I already gave you an answer" and walked away. The hotel was sold out, so at 11pm, me and my pregnant wife were forced to fend for ourselves, because Tina was unable to tell me where another hotel was. -She should have called me directly -She should have held a room and solved the booking issue later -She could have had another option for us to stay in realizing she messed up our reservation. To make it worse, it took the hotel over a week (and 3 phone calls) to credit my account.

The hotel was exactly as expected and the room and facilities were very clean. The restaurant next door, Moonstones was excellent and easy to walk to in a brightly lit parking lot. I find it important while traveling to have dining options very close to my stay so i do not have to travel strange roads at night.

Great service, room and price! I was in town with family and it was a great experience. Lots of amenities and easy access to freeway. Close to shopping and dinning. I would recommend to any family on a budget!
