« Fair for just stay a night »

The location is close to the train station and CTM bus station The room is fair and It is okay for u to stay just a night Some of the staff is nice and introduced many places for us to visit and offered some help to us. The bathroom and toilet is separated which is a good design.

    « Decent stay! »

I really liked this hotel! The rooms are very big and clean. The staff is very nice and kind. Probably the best thing is the location, which is really great! The breakfast was also decent. Only minus is that on one side of the hotel they have some constructions going on so it might be a bit noisy sometimes.

« Not what you expect from a 4* hotel »

Our 1-night stay at the Best Western Hotel Toubkal Casablanca was a very unpleasant experience. The overall condition the hotel, as well as the understanding of cleanliness, leave a lot to be desired, especially for a 4* hotel that claims to hold up to European standards. Upon checking in, we realised that the carpet in the room was very dirty and there were a lot of hair on the apparently newly-made bed. We were asked to wait in the reception area while housekeeping went through the room again, but didn't get offered any drinks during the wait. In addition, both the tap in the sink as well as the shower had brown water coming out of it. Confronted about this, the staff at reception claimed the water-issue was city-wide, which i can neither confirm nor decline, and would resolve itself within 1-2h, which it did not. At checkout the manager apologised for the inconvenience and offered a free lunch. The sincerity of the offer is questionable, since it was clearly visible we were about to leave. We declined because we had to catch a flight and if breakfast is any indicator then lunch would've been another unpleasant experience. The offer can be interpreted as good faith but falls into the category of ?too little too late'.

    « Great! »

We thought this hotel was great! Super central location, very friendly and happy staff, and the rooms are big and clean. There is some constructions going on next to the hotel which you can hear if you have the room on that side. would recommend if youre lookimg for a decent place to stay!

    « Not great »

From the moment of arrival at the BW Toubkal it isn't an experience that delights. There is limited security at the entrance (scanning arch beeping away but no-one monitoring it); the lobby area is old and tired; reception staff not overly friendly and the lifts so antiquated they don't have internal doors. Upstairs the disappointment continues, the rooms need updating. Based on my room it looked as though some of the soft furnishings had been changed leaving a hideous clash of stripes, spots and fleur de lis. The room was superficially clean but dusty and grimy in the bits that couldn't easily be wiped with a duster, floor also bitty. The windows were well sound proofed but the air con seemed ineffectual. Breakfast is decent, smallish range but all fresh. Beware of drink prices in the bar where a small bottle of the local beer costs £4 ambience and atmosphere don't justify that price. If it was a budget hotel the points above wouldn't matter but for the price charged, the Toubkal is quite poor.

« Convenient place for transfer »

We stayed for just one night in the hotel. The place is awesome since it's just within walking distance to the famous Mosque by the sea. Moreover, it was just 3 min walk to the train station and very easy to catch the train to airport.

    « Total disappointment »

Location - even though it is very close to train station it is not a great place to stay as it is very loud and the windows in the hotel are not sound proof at all. It is very hard to fall asleep with constant gongs coming from the street. Window view - better not to look out. Facility in rooms are quite old. Brekfast was very poor and not very fresh. Advice: Take good care of your belonings. If you leave something in the hotel you will not get it back. I have always been a fan of Best Western hotels but this time was totally disappointed.

    « Convenience »

Basic hotel in a convenient location. A little bit worn out but clean. Service was not great and although I had been told breakfast was included in the room rate, I ended up having to pay separately for it.

    « Good location »

We picked this hotel only because it had free parking. Finding the hotel and the parking lot was challenging with GPS. Locals may not know it as Best Western, so ask for Hotel Toubkal if you're asking someone nearby. You can pull up in front of the hotel, and they will help you with parking. We also liked that they had a bar downstairs (limited choices, but still available). Rooms were small and not the cutest, but the hotel served its purpose with location and parking. The staff were polite, but not the most helpful we met during our trip in terms of offering recommendations.

    « Short Stay »

Fairly old fashioned hotel in central Casablanca near to many tourist spots. The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful though a little distracted when there is football on the TV.

« nice stay in CASA »

I like this place, close to train station (Casaport), close to a lot of restaurant. Hotel rooms are nice. Internet runs good, breakfast ok, entrance, lift and some areas look old. All the staff of hotel helps you anytime

    « Good location »

Nice services ....Good location ... good hotel for this price... nice clean room ... if you are not smoker have to ask for non smoking rooms. Everything around you in the same area shopping. .resturants. .. train taxi. ..thank you gooood location

    « Would definitely recommend »

Five minute walk to Casa Port train station, clean, friendly, stored our extra bag for free while we traveled around the country. Hot showers. Only stayed one night so didn't take advantage of other amenities.

    « two night stay »

Except for the bathroom, everything very old and falling apart.needs major updating. Chair fell apart and heating system makes so much noise you cannot sleep. we liked the location though.Breakfast is adequate but not competitive with other hotels same pricegroup

I stayed one night alone in the hotel, and it is actually quite close to the train station, it took me around 2 mins to arrive, so it is quite convenient for single traveling women. I actually did not use any taxi to reach the city center I just had a 20 mins walk and reached the mosque

« Service is good, location is great, rooms and view are ugly »

The location couldn't be better. Everything you need is close by: the tram, car rentals, restaurants, the market, the Excelsior... Service is quite good, depends on who is working at the reception. The lobby is ok, but the rooms and the view are pretty ugly. The hotel definitely has seen better days (ugly colors: beige and brown, red carpet, old bathroom). But for a short stay it is totally fine. Anyway you do not expect a 5 star hotel to have the same standards as in Europe

« Convenient location, good rooms »

Best Western Hotel Toubkal is a good choice if you find a deal for a room. The location is good. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are nicely decorated with all necessities. Breakfast is not inclusive the room price.

« Older property with good location »

The best service we received was from the doorman and the bellhop. The front desk staff should speak better English and be more cordial and helpful, and housekeeping should provide 2 bottles of water per room, per day (not just on the first day), which seems to be an industry standard.

« Convenient to the Medina »

I stayed here twice - in 2017 and also in 2016. The location is very convenient to the Old City, the train station and you can walk to the square where music buskers play and the older buildings lining, but it's tucked behind the main streets. And you need to be a bit careful in part of this area late at night. It is clean, there is a very small lobby but helps if you are waiting or being met. Staff are friendly, there is a restaurant and a bar with an excellent keyboardist. The down sides - the rooms are very dark. It was quite hot when I arrived & there is central air, but I needed windows open. One of the staff came into my room when I was sleeping in the morning. So it was locked, he must have used an entry card. When I screamed, he just laughed and did not leave until I yelled at him. Of course, I should have also bolted the door - be sure to do that.

« Comfortable space in good location »

Located a stone's throw from the main train station, this hotel is ideal for exploring Casablanca (what little there is to explore) and provides clean comfort, although not much luxury. If you're coming from the airport, the train ride to the main station is easy and inexpensive, although the service isn't as frequent or comfortable as it could be. The hotel has a comfortable, marble lined lobby and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Even if you arrive very early before check in, they'll do their best to get you a room if it's available, which is always appreciated after an overnight long haul flight. The rooms are spacious and clean, if somewhat old and dark. The furniture could do with an update, but it's perfectly comfortable. Tea, coffee, a small 33cl bottle of water are provided for free, but only once. They are not replenished after being used. There's a kettle and also an (expensive) choice of drinks and snacks in the fridge. The large closet has a safe. The beds are comfortable and the linens very clean. I never found the aircon control, so not sure if it's centrally provided, but the rooms were cool enough in autumn. There's a flat screen TV, but I never turned it on and very reliable, free wifi. There's an adjoining door to the next room. There is noise from the rooms and corridors from TV's, radios, chatter and cleaning staff. Across the street is a big building development and on weekdays, drilling started before 8:00am and went on all day. It is very loud and very annoying. No idea when the project will be finished but it looks like it's only just started as of November 2017. The bathrooms are old, but kept clean. The bath tub and basin were both chipped and cracked. They provide soap bars and shampoo, but not every day. The towels were old, but clean enough. Breakfast is either included in your rate or available for MD100 per day (about 10 USD) and is very good value. A buffet is provided of breads, pastries, fruits, cold cuts, cheeses, breakfast meats, tea, coffee, watered juices, yogurts. Plenty of food. They will also cook eggs to order, but this isn't well advertised. The restaurant staff are either very, very friendly and warm or extremely hostile and cold. It's 50/50. All in all, a good property for good rates in a good area. Everything Casablanca can offer is within walking distance or a taxi ride.

« Good location, but better hotels for a little more »

I would give it an average rating if it were not for the very annoying fact that both our and our companion's non-smoking rooms smelled heavily of smoke. Not surprising as they had ash trays! The room was dated, but clean, though the sheets and towels were dingy and worn. The hotel restaurant's food was fair. The staff very friendly and helpful. It is walking distance to the Medina, Rick's Cafe (if you are feeling especially touristy), and even the mosque if you have the energy. Given how variable the taxi rates are, walking is a good option. I guess this convenience makes the Best Western an OK value, but for $20 more, there are better hotels.

    « Very good »

Hotel was near train station which was the best option for us. Personal was helpful. Nice inside also. Additional costs.. Breakfast and city tax was not included in the price. Worth the price. Good sleep in big bed.

    « Nice hotel »

Nice hotel well located, stuff is friendly, close to train station and tram, the price not expensive, I command this hotel for travelers coming for work. Breakfast is a buffet well presented, there is a nice piano bar with live music at night

« Good hotel for a reasonable price »

Have nothing to comment, it is a good hotel in Casablanca, traveled for a business, stayed only two night and was satisfied. Rooms was clean, good conditioned, free wifi, was quiet, dinner was good enough. Staff is dificult to speak with in i English, but they are trying to help in any case and was nice. Travelled on april 2015.

    « Ok for 1 night »

We used this hotel just for 1 night! It is in a good location, just a 5 minutes walk from casa port railway station! Price is ok! The rooms are a bit old, but ok! All in all a nice hotel if you search just a short overnight in casablanca!

    « Good location... »

Good location and large rooms. Needs to be renewed and updated. The staff is nice and the restaurant is average. A little bit to noisy, but that could be solved with an expected renovation. The value is good.

« Great basic hotel! Good value! »

We stayed one night and everything was working fine. Wifi good, AC good, hot water fast. Not the fanciest place of course, but really good value!! Staff are very friendly as well. The only complaint we have is that the housekeeping staff come in without knocking, or knocking and coming in 1 second later, leaving us no time to respond. This happened three times in one day! Location also good. Close to the Medina, currency exchange places. 5 min walk to casa port, 15 min to Rick's café, 30 min to Hassan II mosque. Early May is not too hot for walking and there is a cool breeze from the ocean so 30 min walking is quite doable.

    « It's ok? »

The hotel is nicely located..there is a nice diner across the street and a bar just around the corner. We walked to the mosques which was about 30 min. The air condition did not work for the 2 rooms out of the 4 rooms (302, 306) we booked and when we called the reception they just said that it works and dismissed it. We didn't get a restfull sleep as we were so hot! also there were mosquitoes and when we woke up we had tons of mosquito bites! we arranged for a taxi with front desk and that was done on time.. The staff was ok but not welcoming!

« Needs Renovation, Centrally Situated »

The location is great. The rooms are clean, but outdated and need major renovations. The carpet needs to be replaced altogether. Given the price of the room, which I booked through a third party site, I expected it to be a bit nicer. Although I requested a non-smoking floor and room, I did not receive it. The room itself didnt smell of smoke, but the neighbors smoke drifted through the vents to my room. The decor is from1960s in the US, not current at all. The amenities are very basic. I was placed in one of the nicer, higher up floors that faced a construction site that had a bit of noise during the day. The room was near the elevator, but the elevators are very quiet. The overall service was average, coupled with an average experience.

    « Horrific »

very disappointing !! Worst hotel and service i have ever experienced in my entire life what a shame... Honestly it was a worst experienxe ever Im extremy disappointed !! Never and evere stay here AVOID

« Comfortable and excellent location »

This hotel is comfortable, big beds and decent bathroom. Wifi is very good. Location is also great - very close to the tramline, old city and access to plenty of restuarants and cafes. Very good value for money.

« Two nights in Casablanca »

This is a very conveniently located hotel. It's just a few close blocks to the train station (where you can come from the airport), and close to walkable sights. It's a long walk to the Mosque, but very doable-just keep the very high tower in view! Walking in Casablanca is somewhat difficult because very few streets are visibly labelled. They have a fixed price breakfast and dinner which was a bit pricey for Breakfast (about$10) and $15 for Dinner. The desk personnel were very helpful and easily spoke Arabic, French and English.

« Smoking rooms? gross, but such nice staff and convenient location »

I know that the public health laws in Morocco are not on the same level as the US or Europe but it had been so long that I stayed in a hotel where there are smoking and nonsmoking rooms I had forgotten how gross they can be. Even if you are in a non-smoking room the second hand smoke seeps through the air vents making it feel like you're sleeping in an ash tray. Spent one night here and woke up with a sore throat and smoky smelling clothing/luggage. That being said - it's cheap, walking distance from the Medina (which I thought was more interesting than Marrakech's medina as it is a lot less touristy - we had delicious kidney sandwiches and had our best tagine of the trip for 12 dirham (about 1 USD), and a short walk from Rick's Cafe - which albeit touristy as possible was still fun and worthwhile. The staff is super friendly and the wifi works well. We paid ~30 USD to take a taxi from the hotel to the airport, which at 5 am took about 35 minutes.

    « it s not a 4 star »

Good location for going out, next to the market and all important ameneties, But the room was smelly, bathroom not enough bright ( Light could be better ) The view fro the window misrebale, Breakfast poor----> anyway not a 4 star

    « Nice hotel »

Nice hotel in the center of casablanca.quiet clean rooms .minibar in the wifi in whole hotel.very friendly staff!good restaurant .plate of the days, choise between 3 entrys and 3 maincourse and dessert for only 150 dirham

« The WiFi actually works! »

This is the only budget hotel in the center of Casablanca that I have been able to use the wifi! The hotel is old (like all budget hotels) but clean and the breakfast is acceptable. Don't get scared by the night club by its entrance. Make sure to ask for a non-smoking room! Every other floor is a non-smoking floor but they didn't ask when checking in.

« Great location and reasonable »

On the last leg of our Morocco trip, we had booked the Best Western Hotel Toubkal for the convenient location. Although we had a few issues with the room, the Manager swiftly upgraded to a very nice room. The front desk staff, Noura Bssit and Marouane Falaki were extremely friendly and helpful with all of our questions and the recommendations for the restaurants and things to see.

    « Ideal location. »

Hotel Toubkal is a small, multistoried hotel that offers a variety of rooms. I chose a standard queen room for a 2 week stay. The room had everything you would need-a very large mirror on one wall, large closet with sliding mirrored doors, a safe within that, drawers for clothes with in that closet, a mini fridge, a large desk, a large TV, and two separated washrooms-one with just a toilet, and the other with the sink, wall-width mirror and tub/shower combo. Fresh towels and shampoo arrive every morning. The rooms are very clean and well organized for maximum space. The drapes are heavily lined so even the Casa sun isn't coming through in the morning. A periodic drawback is the occasional sent. You need to request a non-smoking room and I didn't notice that. I can smell smoke come through the vents on occasion-but this is not consistent. There is also very occasionally a faint smell in the morning of standing water. But the rooms are cleaned and vacuumed daily and there's no evidence of mould or anything else. A second drawback is the food (for people who like to eat consistently within the hotel). I did find this somewhat disappointing. The breakfast buffet (100dh) offered a fairly sparse selection of cucumbers, bread, eggs (a bit congealed), a hot option (that I couldn't quite determine) and other items. There was no harcha, meloui, bghrir or other typical Moroccan dishes. I tried their lunch one day (150dh) of the steak with peppercorn sauce and mix vegetables. The vegetables, like all others within Morocco, were cooked within an inch of their life and weren't as hot as I would've liked but they were flavourful and fresh. The steak was for the average but the sauce was delightful. They offered a good-sized tasty crème caramel. And finally, I tried a dinner option (90dh) of beef sandwiches. I wasn't sure what to expect but slices of steak were served in three small delicious rolls. They were served with horseradish and we're quite delicious and filling. Of the three meals this is my favourite. The overwhelming plus however of this hotel is its location. It is quite literally a five minute walk to Casa Port the main train station. It is an easy cheap taxi ride to the other train station Casa voyageur if you need service to El Jeddida etc. The hotel is one street over from the old Medina and a host of restaurants, and a seven minute walk maximum to the tram and bus depot in Centreville. If you are a walker, you're about a kilometre from the Habous. For someone travelling alone, this hotel proved to be very central to all services and easy to manage. The stuff of been very friendly and welcoming. They are anxious to help and responded quickly to all questions. I dropped my phone in water while here and they provided me with a cup of rice to dry it out. The staff are present on the floors so you have a feeling of safety as well. I would certainly return to the hotel on another visit.

    « cleaness »

was very dirty Hotel , I change the room 2 times and still dirty I couldn't stay so I pay extra to get the suit . also don't pay for the breakfast is very bad , I eat bread and kiri with 100 Moroccan Dirhams

    « It was ok »

The staff were friendly, the food was good. and the rooms were ok. We liked the location, there was a lot of place we could wander around in by foot, so that was nice. But the hotel felt like it needed a serious update. If you aren`t too picky of a traveler, this place will do fine.

    « Nice hotel »

I was at the Hotel Toubkal for 2 nights and it was very pleasant. Since i don't speak french the people working there always spoke to me in english and were always very friendly and smiley. The hotel is very clean and the room was quite cosy. I will return there if i ever find myself back in casablanca. Ifeoma N.

    « Ok »

I believe trip advisor as well as all other travel engines should add new category for hotels having toilet seat rinsers Since such feature is very hygienic and request by all Arabian travelers The hotel is ok but ratings differ in Morocco, casablanca and other cities almost all hotels in casa or Marrakech or Aghadir need renovation. It's nice to have such experienced staff but some times new rooms are much nicer For BW Toubkal the hotel location is very nice near cas port train station and the tramway station also near the port and el hassan II mosque The rooms are ok but air conditions need to be changed or fixed The toilet is in a separate small room from the bathroom French style There is a night club in the hotel, as for the restaurant it is ok same as rest of hotels in Morocco Thanks

    « Excellent service »

Ok, so reserved my room for me and a friend , but was super late getting there ended up with a better room. Comfortable bed, excellent service from the staff, everyone spoke English ( helpful for me, since its the only language I know haha) they exchange currencies, will help you with cabs, and anything your looking for like stores and things that could be interesting to see. Neat fish in the lobby, and a hanging aquarium. Oh ,downfall was no air but I didn't complain since I wasn't in my room really except at night, and my huge window opened for a fantastic breeze. The restaurant was ok, clean and helpful staff. Food was good. Tiny elevator ,but all around charming place. It is located close to things where you can walk to, hmmm I guess that's ok for a first review from rural USA

    « Avoid Completely »

I book this hotel for the last leg of my journey pending return to London. Its price was so cheap for a 4 star costing only 78pounds or 101 euros. But there was a catch the hotel was horrible beyond what you can imagine. Firstly, the air-conditioning do not work. The air blasted out was like cold air you use on your hair dryer. Hardly any coolness and imagine its the summer now and true measurement of the temperature was actually 43 to 47 degrees in the day as reflected by vehicle sensors. I woke up at 5am to shower with cold water and i was still sweating like a pig. They were also not very sympathetic telling me nonsense like i will sent a technician to check and all that bla bla nonsense. Only when they swopped me to the 8th floor, did i realised how crap the hotel was. They actually lied, airconditioning was not working every room has its windows opened. There was a major refurbishment going on and they still took people in. Whats worst was most rooms were not occupied for a long time, water tap was not even flowing and shortly afterwards it spat brown and yellow water intermittently. I went down and struggled to get room changed and in the end i was back at my original room. Believe me i shifted out at 1am to live at a friend's place in Sidi Marouf. The staffs were also rude in particularly the housekeeping supervisor she was screaming at me and refuses to let me access the original room again when i changed the second time with the approval from receptionist. I know the receptionist tried her best but management really needs to be more honest, i will write another email to Best Western. I think other than the nightclub, this place should close although the rooms are big more its too dated, furniture and fridge and facilities all dates back to the mid 1970s. And it doesnt helps with a security man hamid changing his face so fast from being helpful to rude on the second day. Tbh i dont even think they need a security there, the thugs are not even interested in the hotel.

    « Amazing Breakfast »

Had an overnight stay in Casablanca and booked here for its close location to the Port train station, staff were good, the room was very spacious ,clean and comfortable to the standard of a Best Western. The breakfast buffet was very complete, a full continental breakfast buffet as well as local pastries and baked goods. The only negative thing of my stay was discovering the water was brown when trying to take a bath... I ended up taking a shower, as long as I couldn't see it was brown it felt better. I hope for others this was just a pipeline issue on that day. I would still stay here again in the future

« Average. Good location but poor breakfast »

    - They were able to process early checkin without a problem - Comfortable large beds - Room carpet and lobby carpets had an odd smell to them - Claustrophobically tiny elevators! - Very poor breakfast, one of the worst I've seen - Located very close to Casa Port train station and a nearby tram as well, which is great. Plus a handful of restaurants and the entrance to the Medina. - Good wifi If they cleaned a little better and renovated the ancient room decor, they will do much better. But if you just want straight up standard service, you'll manage fine here.

« What You Would Expect »

I booked this room for an overnight stay in Casablanca. Let's start with the fact that this is a best western! That is where your expectations should dwell, no more no less. The rooms were large enough, had coffee and tea and a bottle of water, complimentary. The check in and check out were easy. Clean sheets, beds provided a good nights sleep, there is AC, the bathroom was clean, though admittedly the carpet was aged. The location is superb. Right by the medina and restaurants. If you are taking a train from tangier be aware that the train stop near the hotel on the map is not where you will be arriving. You will instead be arriving at Casa Voyager, about a 30 min walk or a 10 min cab. If you want a decent place to sleep at budget price, this is a good option. If you want nice amenities and newer rooms, there is the Hotel Sofitel right down the street.

Our reservations were for a non smoking room. First night was in a smoking room, street side, very noisy and room too warm. Then moved into a room on backside of hotel, only one bed, had to have a roll away added. AC did not work, windows open , traffic noise, dogs barking, etc, still no AC. Carpet was very dirty, made your feet black. Asked for alarm clock that worked, never got one. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.

« Good service! Nothing special »

Basic room , old furniture and slow WiFi . Good location for business travelers . The hotel needs to be updated and the staff need to pay attention to,details. Basic continental breakfast with some Moroccan dishes.

« Awesome location and service! »

This hotel is awesome and has been severely underrated! Location is great and the room is very clean too! Front desk has been pretty helpful and speaks decent English. I recommend this hotel for its good value.

    « So bad »

To start with, our room looked and smelled like a prostitute had died in there. This we of course found out after two trips down to the reception (as the phone was not working) since we first got a twin room instead of double that we asked for (two small beds instead of 1 big) and a smoking room, which they could not change. Not enough towels in the bathroom, very unpleasant and rude service and of course the old carpets and furniture that really smelled like ashtray. Dusty, weary corridors and rooms. I'll give them one extra point for the location though, which is indeed conveniently close to the Casa Port station and old medina.

« Good location but nothing special »

I visited Casablanca as my landing destination when visiting Morocco. Best western gave me a great location just a five minute walk to the train and five minutes to the medina. The room was clean. Small. Nothing spectacular - the primary benefit was the wifi. Service was not bad, not great. No food offered. Front desk wasn't particularly helpful at suggesting anything or trying to provide any customer service. Kind of get like going to a convenient store, haha. If you're just looking for a place to crash and no special amenities with a great location - I think this is your spot. Not so if you want a real hotel feel.

« Very good and functional location »

The hotel is comfortable but I wasn't very happy about cleaning level so the staff very nicely upgraded me to a better room. They were also nice in giving me some good tips for my arrangements in town. It is very close to both the railways station (where train to the airport departs) and the medina. I didn't have any meal in hotel.

    « A smokers haven a nonsmokers hell »

Dirty, filthy, bad food, the reek of bad cigarette smoke where ever you went, noisey, thin walls, just a horrible place to stay. The elevators were scary and never lined up w/the floor when the doors opened. You had to manually open the elevators doors and if you weren't fast enough the elevator would zip off to the next call.

    « We run away »

An old dark and dirty hotel that desperately needs for a refurbishment. In my opinion this hotel is two stars maximum. Food was odd and inadequate for a four stars hotel. Even the basic details like doors and carpets were worn and bad. Never again

    « Faded glory »

Stayed overnight ... Despite confirming quiet rooms at the back... It's next to busy main road, we where given two at the front low down....sigh... Why is this so difficult to get what you ask for. Insisted and got my room at the back and another at the front.!! So if you can sleep through traffic noise... The rooms are large with French style furniture and baths!!! Yes full size baths.... Estatic ??. Good location near centre and not far to walk. Wifi worked but unable to stream to on iPad. I would give breakfast a miss, it's continental and not worth extra 10 euros. Pay 2 euros in the city for the same. All in all worth price of about 60 euro for a centre hotel.

« A Solid, Basic Choice with a Good Location »

This hotel is located near the business district, the medina, and the port. It is a good base for seeing the sights of Casablanca, especially as the Casa Port train station is only two blocks away. The tall, narrow property has a lobby, business center, sitting room and restaurant on the first floor, and a handful of guest rooms on each floor above. The front entry is accessed through a metal detector, which is not uncommon here (even the mall has one at the main entrance). The elevator is a bit odd, as it is divided into two smaller compartments that seem to travel together. Our ridiculously early flight from Marrakech got us to the hotel by 7 a.m., and the front desk staff generously allowed us to check in and use the room! The room was pretty spacious, and included all standard western amenities (bath products, hair dryer, mini fridge with mini bar, room safe). The toilet is in a small compartment (with a door), separate from the rest of the bathroom. Only one bath towel was provided the first day. The bathtub was comfortable and hot water was plentiful. Except for hair found in the bathtub, everything was very clean, although the room did have that "motel smell". Beds were a little hard but very comfortable. Although the room was non-smoking, some cigarette smoke smell was present to varying degrees in the room during our stay. The drapes in the bedroom did not close completely, allowing light to enter the room (I was able to clip them closed with a pants hangar from the closet, a common hotel room hack). The throbbing beat of nightclub music could be heard faintly in the room at night, but the area was otherwise quiet. Breakfast was not included with the room, but the hotel does serve a buffet breakfast in the restaurant for 100 dh (about 10 dollars), which is overpriced for the area. We availed ourselves of the buffet one morning. I think the restaurant is non-smoking, a very pleasant surprise! What's for breakfast? Steam table hard-cooked eggs, Moroccan sausage links, Moroccan pancakes (left out far too long, they were hard, dry, and inedible and replaced about half an hour later), and some kind of soup, maybe. Scrambled eggs and omelette can be ordered from the wait staff. Cold foods included canned peaches and canned pears, sliced cucumbers, sliced cheese, spreadable cheese, and one variety of lunch meat. Baked items included croissants, pain au chocolat, and raisin pastry. Bread and a toaster were also available. Beverages included coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fresh orange juice. There was also a pitcher of a dark red juice (we asked what it was, but we didn't know the word we got in response). It tasted very earthy, with a sweet finish.

« Decent value for money »

Heart of downtown with an easy walk to the Medina. Staff was helpful and nice. My only complaint was the carpet in the room looked like it had not been vacuumed in 2 weeks. Otherwise the room was clean.

« Standard best western experience »

It's a standard best western hotel. Generally in need of renovation. Everything looks, feels and smells old. It's in reality like most of these best western hotels a 3+ star hire as opposed to a solid 4*. Staff is very friendly (rushed to get my room ready as I was checking in early) and the hotel is generally clean. The wifi worked very well and the location is very good as it has quick access to the train station (trains depart every hour for airport) and good access to motor way so no issue ordering Uber to drive me around.

« Good location average room »

Stayed here for two nights and it was overall a very average place to stay. The hotel is located nicely in in the heart of the city, next to the old medina and near the two train stations. The rooms have a decent view out over the city if you are higher up but I had trouble getting consistent Wifi service in the room. Everything was clean but there are clear signs of age throughout the building. The breakfast offered was not worth the money charged for it. If you like wandering the city and are just looking for a place to sleep I would certainly think this hotel would be right for you. If you are looking for more friendly service and a luxury feel I would look elsewhere. A side note: the elevator is very unique. I have never been in one where the front wall was just the building wall and there was no inner door.

    « Needs updating »

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. It is conveniently located. Be careful walking in the neighborhood at dark, a purse snatcher ran into us as we were going into a restaurant, he was running with someone's purse... The room is dark and dingy and very hot even tho we had the "summer" setting on the fan. Having dinner in the dining room my companion opened her napkin and out came a large palmetto bug. The room tax is outrageous, 40.00 dirham a night. I am not sure how this place has a four star rating.

« Comfortable Place to Stay »

Gracious desk staff, good sized rooms, and a wonderful Morocco breakfast are just a few of the benefits of staying here. When we arrived at 9:30 a.m. we expected to drop off our bags and walk around town jet-lagged until check-in time. But, they said our room was ready and we were able check-in and grab a nap. Location is another benefit. We took a cab from the airport but could have just as well taken the train as the hotel is 2 blocks away. The Medina is 3 blocks away as well as restaurants and shopping.

« Nice place for one night »

I stayed here on my arrival at Casablanca and for only one night before I move to other city. This place is nice hotel but a little bit old-fashioned in design - not so modern. The staff are nice and friendly and service good. The location is easy to get to by taxi. Nice breakfast too.

« Professional staff; clean, safe accommodations »

This hotel was clean and safe, with professional and friendly staff. It's in a great location for tourists, you are near the central market, the port, Rick's cafe, the mosque and the train station. I'd recommend taking the train in from the airport, not a cab. Internet was fast and reliable, shower was good, bar was relaxing. The hotel is not glamorous or over-the-top fancy, but it is well worth the money and a good value.

« Happy next to Medina »

Great location! 100m from Old Medina. 300m from the Ocean. Nice room with full mini bar. AC wasn't very good but nice breeze. Staff was very friendly, door man always carried any bags we brought back with us up to the room. Breakfast still continued its same hours during Ramadan.

    « Avoid Avoid Avoid »

The hotel is in a good location but that is all. We stayed here on our arrival in Casablanca just for one night all we needed was a bed for the night, we had pre paid, just wished we hadn't as we had booked to stay again 2 weeks later on our departure I can't imagine why this hotel hasn't been kicked out the Best Western chain as it gives them a bad name Front desk staff are just plain rude, they ignored us when we were checking in and severed others that came after that spoke the language On our second stay the air conditioning was broken and they told us to open the window, after a few visits to the front desk after feeling we couldn't take the heat any more they moved us All this time talking in front of us in their language and you could just tell it was not nice what they were saying, I felt quite uneasy Breakfast is basic, the place is rundown, old, dark and dingy and I would say I have never stay in a worse place than this, we should have just done our money and left Avoid Avoid Avoid

« close to casa port, but better options exist »

I stayed here for one night because I had an early flight out of Casablanca and wanted to be close to the train station which is a short walk away. They have renovated the rooms and have near soundproof windows, but the property definitely shows its age in many other areas and the A/C in my room did not adequately cool the room at all. The staff were pretty accomodating and the price was cheap, but there are other albeit more expensive hotels that are also close to the train station that are likely better (Novotel, Sofitel, etc.).

    « Very basic »

This hotel was about what I would expect for a Best Western, 60 USD a night for a single person. I checked into the hotel in the middle of the night, and the staff found my reservation right away and checked me in very efficiently. ROOM: The bed, bedding, bathroom, and amenities are very basic. The large bed had two mattresses in one bed frame, which made it somewhat uncomfortable; the sheets were not fitted so they slid around; and the blanket on the bed was a shag-rug type blanket that probably had never been washed. As for the bathroom, it was clean enough and there was soap, shampoo, and conditioner as well as clean towels. Be warned that the wi-fi internet connection is intermittent and very weak, so I would not recommend it for business travel needs. Also be warned that the hotel, while in a very good (central) location, is also in a busy part of town with lots of traffic noise, even at night. The A/C and temperature control also left something to be desired. Overall, very basic hotel, probably fine for someone who just has an overnight stopover.
