Best Western Plus Cary Inn - NC State

The lighting in the room was very very poor and not enough to even read a magazine or book by..... The pillows were very small and you needed several of them together to even get any sleep. The breakfast was "so-so" and the potatoes were cold right when you scooped them.

We spent three nights here. The room and facilities were fine. However the breakfast on the final day was lacking, insufficient pastries and French toast for guests, running out of 2% milk closing at 0845 when it clearly states breakfast is available till 0900. However despite this I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

AVERAGE HOTEL WITH NEEDS As a former "Road Warrior", with over 6,000 stays in hotels over the last 40 years, traveling for business, my review is that this is just an average hotel, that needs some attention. Needs to be keep the hotel up to date OVERALL........3/5 The hotel is average, but has a weird set up, its a SPLIT LEVEL hotel. Press 4th floor in the elevator and end up on the 2nd floor, 2 small flights of stairs above front desk. I would stay hear again, only because of price and location, because hotels in wake county are expensive. STAFF ..................3/5 Only 1 staff member, at the front desk, seem to care about their job, while most checking their phone and ignoring our requests and concerns. SAFETY ...............1/5 Smoke Detector Notified the staff every day, over a week, about a chirping noise, when he battery needs to be change, from the smoke detector and NEVER changed the battery. Stair Trim............5/5 The trim on the stop stair was coming apart, and a tripping hazard, yes I tripped, because my show got caught on the trim. This was fixed ASAP BREAKFAST...........3/5 Very tight area, especially after Covid. Breakfast wasn't anything special, lacking diversity, temperature issues and on several days, items, like oatmeal, ran out and weren't refilled, with an hour to go. As a diabetic, oatmeal is basically all I can eat. Staff worked hard to keep up, but the 1 lady by herself was a little overwhelmed. ROOM...........3/5 Outdated electrical outlets, so charging computers and phones near the bed, you will need to unplug the light, radio or other items. Need more sockets, including usb ports to keep up.

Checking into the hotel was easy and the front desk were very friendly and gave great places to go for dinner. The manager had no problem fixing my reservation and he upgraded my room to a suite for our stay. If you visit this hotel ask for Khalil he's great

This is a decent hotel that's is reasonably priced for a stay in Cary. It has ample amenities, parking and provides warm breakfast daily. However l stayed 4 nights and they were the most uncomfortable nights ever ,because of the tiny pillows , more like sofa cushions, that they provide for guests to sleep on. Every morning I woke up with neck pain! Won't be staying here again

at least it was quiet the weekend I was there. very friendly desk staff. this hotel is improving. I stay twice a year. beds are pretty firm which I am glad about. this BWP is right between Raleigh, Cary and Apex. I had family in Cary and Apex, business in Raleigh and this section of East Cary is very convenient to all, even Crabtree Valley Mall and Crossroads. plus it's a little Mecca of restaurants. Pho, healthy breakfast and a Cookout all in the same little area around Buck Jones Road

I am leaving this review to mention that Tammy, the employee in charge of the cafeteria, entirely made my day with her positive attitude and good vibes. She helped me with the waffle machine. Thanks, Tammy.

This hotel is ok to stay some staff are helpful. Rooms are ok but total hotel needs some work and updating. The location is convenient to shopping and food. That also have good complimentary breakfast.

Wonderful staff and excellent service . Clean, rooms. I was pleased with the workers at this location. Family oriented people. Who will take care of you without hesitation. I was able to get online and work will my grandchildren and their mom enjoyed our poolside room.

Great experience with the room, service, breakfast and parking, and convenient location to NC State University, airport and RTP. You get the quality you pay for, but a great value for money. Not sure where some other reviews for roaches come from, unless it is a separate building than the main building we stayed in. Employees were cleaning very well the main lobby area and rooms.

This day was amazing the staff at the front desk make sure of that loved everything from the pool area to the breakfast. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was fresh. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

I always stay at this location when visiting family in NC. Central location and a great value. There are restaurants and shopping in the immediate area. The hotel staff is very helpful and pleasant. I rooms are spacious (for morning stretches and yoga).

Front Desk Manager Keysha was extremely helpful and as nice as possible, thank you for your exceptional service. Breakfast was abundant also, we had numerous types of porridge, bagels, juices, etc. Highly recommend to short term travelers who would love to explore the city of Cary

Excellent stay. The room was clean with new, comfortable furniture, including bed, desk, chair, and dresser. At the front desk, Keysha was very helpful and patient with me, both at check-in and check-out.

Keysha P at the front desk was absolutely amazing and took care of me and my family's needs. She was was very attentive. Best front desk receptionist they have. You can tell she truly loves her job and is a people person. She is very respectful as well.

I come here all the time and the staff is always great, especially Keysha at the front desk. She always goes out her way to help find my rewards account and save me a little bit which goes a long way. The rooms could use a mirror or maybe some updated furniture, other than that it's always clean and a pleasure to stay here.

I've stayed here many times, and never had an issue. The rooms have always been clean. It has a nice little complimentary breakfast in the morning. If you are looking to stay somewhere new and updated, this is not the place. It's not my top choice out of all the hotels in the area, but I would stay here again.

While our room appeared clean, the hallways smelled strongly of pot and cigarettes. The smell of pot in the several hallways was so strong it made my eyes water. Luckily somehow the room did not smell. The room appeared clean, however all noises and conversations from the surrounding rooms could be heard.

Excellent hotel to stay in! The staff were amazing and the room was the utmost quality for the amazing price! I would love to stay again. Daily Breakfast was great and there gym was a big help for my daily workouts while on vacation

Thanks to Keisha P at the front desk and the general manager Joakima who squeezed us in during the great blackout due to terrorism in Moore County North Carolina. We had no heat, food, light-etc, and drove an hour to find a place to stay and rest. Both were so very helpful and polite, and enabled us to recuperate from freezing temperatures, no way to prepare food, and no communication, even by cell. We have stayed at many Marriotts and Hilton hotels, but this was a better value for the money, and the breakfast was hot and well done. 5 stars for the treatment, peace and quiet, courtesy, and customer service.

Hotel is very nice and clean. Check-on was quick and easy. Location was perfect for us as well. The biggest thing we liked was the service in the cafeteria specifically the young lady Tammy. Tammy cooked and made the cafeteria an extremely pleasant atmosphere not to mention stocking and preparing them for the next day. Tammy was also very nice and interested in how she could help us more.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Affordable rates for a family. Hotel is in a good location for dining and shopping. Close to several highways and easy access to NC State University and the city of Raleigh.

I like to thank all the staff at BestWestern Plus at 1722 Walnut Street located in Cary NC. There Housekeeping staff are friendly, kind and approachable. They do above what is asked of them daily. I and my family appreciate all they do for us. Their Housekeeping Supervisor Mrs.Tammy is a great person and leader in her position here. She greets with truenesses from her heart. Which flows out in the environment as very pleasant vibes. If you are traveling through Cary NC; I hope you chose to stay at “The BestWestern Plus. I say thank you in advance A pleased customer!!!!!

As a participant in the NC Senior Games, we change venues daily. This location is centrally located to allow me less traveled roads for access. Desk person is very helpful in printing maps to events with best directions for newcomers.

I was in a bit of a tough spot and had no where to stay for the night I was in town however William and Etnoia at the front desk were very kind and sympathetic to my situation and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. next time I am in town I will be sure to come back as there's no substitute for good customer service!

I checked in on Aug 31st and did not go to my room till later that evening.. When I got to my room I found my toliet was over flowing and backed up with sewer coming out the top and at the floor. I called front desk but they had no one to look at it. Nor did they have any rooms to move me, They promised to have it looked at while I was gone all day Thurs, I came back Thurs evening to my room, dog blanket, clothes soakingwet with sewer as well as the bed skirt had soaked it up and was wet. I asked for a new room and trash bags for my clothes that now needed washed. They claimed there was no other rooms. They would also have it looked at again the next morning. The next day it was still clogged and flooding the bathroom and floor and I begged for a new room and was told there were none.. I was left outside in the 95 degree heat with my dog while they tried to fix it again because no one had it fixed while I was gone all day as promised yet again. Onthe 4th of Spet at 8:30 PM I was finally given a new room when the maintenance man said he needed to be in there to fix it and I showed the front desk that 6 rooms showed available online. I mean I was gone all day and was promised it would be fixed day after day. I had to do laundry to wash my clothes and then to find out the dryer did not work and my cloths were now wet from washing. I had to go to Target and buy cleaning supplies and clean my own room over and over. When I asked to talk to a manager every day they were never there and when/if they ever were at the hotel no one reached out to me about the sewer back up toilet all the flooding. . The room smelled like Sewer and I had no bathroom while in that room. IThey refused to refund my stay> for the three days I live with sewer water and no bathroom. I have videos I plan to share EVERYWHERE and warn people about the unsafe ... poor sanitary situation at Best Western Cary, NC. NOT to mention the hotel smelled like drugs something awful, it was VERY bad. They gave me a ticket number when I called corporate but basicly siad they could not help. I am shocked they are ok with these conditions and feel this is normal for your stay that this hotel. I was at this hotel to do some AKC seminars and I was exhausted with no sleep and no bathroom, sewer smell and drug/smoke so bad.

Amazing location, easy on off, felt safe and secure as I stayed alone. Perfect Rooms, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms! Great breakfast, and an incredible staff! Highly recommend staying at this location! The price was great too!

It's a decent hotel but room smelled of mildew and it's an older property that needs to be remodeled/updated. I won't stay again but like I said affordable. Located in a good location easily access interstate.

On August 10, I made a reservation for Best Western Plus Cary Inn - NC State. Upon arrival on Wednesday August 17th, I was told that they no longer had any double bed rooms. She said that they did have one, but someone had complained earlier because it smelled like smoke. They had run some machine, but it might still smell of smoke. As the smell of smoke seemed like it might be less bad than sharing a room with my travelling companion, she said I could go and look. The room was actually a complete mess - beds unmade and dirty. She then said that she could put me in a King suite in the long-term building next door. Not only was that room also dirty, there were people in the halls and all the stairs, loud televisions and music, everything reeked of many different kinds of smoke, and the atmosphere did not feel at all safe. In the course of this, I also asked about a luggage rack - which she said she hadn't seen since she had started working there. Luckily, the Marriott next door did have open rooms (but I did pay $70 more per night - which I did not know that I would need to budget and had not been able to shop around more since I thought I had a room.). When I returned the card and asked for my money back, she said that she was not surprised that I did not want to stay there and recommended the Marriot. This was a VERY upsetting experience on many levels - especially for two women traveling alone and far away. Luckily, I had a wonderful stay at the Marriot (SpringHill Suites) and recommend that to others as a better option than this Best Western location.

What makes a great experience? People! The people here will greet you with a very warm southern greeting and be the most helpful you have ever experienced. From the desk girl to the morning breakfast guy, they are all great.

I would't call this a Best Western Plus, but it is a fine hotel. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable, bath was clean, could use more towels but did have maid service. 24 hour front desk, folks were pleasant at check in and check out. Breakfast was adequate with hot and cold selections. Coffee available in lobby all day. Only offered coffee mate so I had to use milk.

I love this hotel! Everyone is always so kind and accommodating. Spacious rooms. Great buffet breakfast. Fast internet! I always stay here when visiting Raleigh. Beds are comfortable and sheets and soft.

Rooms were not clean, bedding had holes in then and the shower was filthy. Not to mention the Marijuana smoking that was taking place in the building. One of the t.vs did not work , the floors were filthy and if you wanted more than 2 towels in your suite room you had to go to the front desk to ask.

Rooms were dirty. The floor had a sticky mess in front of closet. Wood shavings on the floor. Hair in bathroom. Dead bug stuck on wall. Bad odor in room. Chairs had horrible, nasty stains on them. I'm surprised they left the chairs in the room.

Check in ran a little late(after 3) which is fine but staff told me at 12 they would probably have a room at 1 then at 1 they told me 2 then at 2:20 they told me it would be another hour. My bed broke as soon as I laid down, they didn't have any spare rooms to swap so they sent someone to fix it who was super nice and the only good thing about the hotel. Washer/Dryer was broken as well so if I ever went again it would be some kind of last resort.

Stayed here one night for a concert. The hotel was difficult to locate. The sign is very small and easy to miss especially at night. The front desk staff were very nice and welcoming. Room was neat and clean.

Worst stay of any BW properties. Dirty room (suite), no dishes, pans, utensils in kitchen, old uncomfortable matress, lumpy pillows, hair in sink and shower, no towel bar or toilet paper holder, hairdryers removed from all rooms.

They didn't have my room and other guess rooms ready at the 3:00pm check in time.Was supposed to get a gift bag at check in and didn't.They need to close this place! Food was left in the refrigerator by prior guest and it smelled.

I prefer a flatter pillow when I sleep. As much as I enjoy full, puffy pillows for lounging, it is difficult for my neck and increases my migraines with my head bent up at a high angle. Also, I could have used another blanket. I did have the heat up but prefer the comfort of another blanket on the bed.

Stayed for 8 nights. The first room they put me and my spouse in was, without a doubt, the most appalling hotel room I've ever seen. There was this decrepit jacuzzi tub with peeling paint and caulk inside and around it. There were grease marks all over, including the headboard. One of the lamps was broken. Worst of all, it smelled strongly of cigarettes. Immediately asked for and was given a new room. This one was much better, though also in serious disrepair. The bathroom had a lot of water damage that was poorly taken care of—lots of mold just caulked over. The vanity/counter was sliding off of the wall. The heater/AC only worked as on or off—adjusting the settings did nothing. There was no hair dryer. The staff was fine, no complaints there. The breakfast was actually quite good for a hotel of this class. Simple, as to be expected, but adequate. Good hours. Every morning there were eggs, various breads, juice, strong coffee and some sort of meat. My spouse and I are vegetarian, so I can't comment on that. One of the mornings, the egg option had ham in it, which should be avoided as a practice since there are a lot of people who don't eat meat for a variety of reasons. Overall though, we were happy with breakfast. 100% would not stay here again, regardless of price.

All around great experience. Excellent breakfast. Staff that is caring and attentive. Breakfast is from 6-9 am. Set your alarm. Just really taken aback by the friendly of the staff. From the the I checked in until I checked out. Good job !

This place was a bummer. My husband and I planned a staycation for two nights. All I wanted was to soak in the jacuzzi tub. Upon arrival we noticed huge amount of dog crap. Some of it was petrified, some fresh, all over the out door walk ways and parking lots. We got our, bed wasn't that comfortable, there was noise from on going construction until 11 at night. The next day I just wanted my bath. The jacuzzi itself looked old, but I'm not picky. I ran the water, sooo excited, just for my joy to be destroyed. The hot water didn't work. I couldn't even shower. I complained, in a nice manner because it isn't the front desk person fault. They said they would get a worker to check on it… 2 hrs later, nothing. So they changed out room, yay. A different room, a different jacuzzi, a potentially happy soaking me? Ha, no. That would be too easy. The water still didn't get hot and this time the jacuzzi didn't even work. We ended up getting a different hotel. F' Best Western. If you want a cold shower and a crappy experience then you'll love this place.

I will start by saying the staff here is very friendly and that is why I gave the hotel two stars along with the fact that breakfast is included and pet fees are reasonable compared to other hotels. That is it, however, with the pros. This hotel is truly disgusting and in disrepair. Some of the exterior doors going to parking areas do not work and can be opened without a hotel key. The hallways are constantly dirty. Our first room had a back door going to the pool area with a broken lock and the only thing securing it was the safety latch. They moved us to a second room that was recently renovated that was infested with roaches. They then offered to move us to a suite which had a broken lock and could not be secured at all. The noise was constant from room renovations, and because they cater to transient workers, there are constant parking issues with big trucks taking up multiple spaces. There is also a problem with drug use on the property as you can't escape the smell of marijuana. The end of our stay could not come soon enough.

The facility in Carrie was run down outdated and not functional. The rooms were not clean properly and you could see writing on the mirrors mirrors from the steam and the bathrooms from prior guests. Is electrical outlets in the bathrooms did not function, Bulbs were out and maids did not clean the room daily. Highly recommend to skip and go across the parking lot to the Marriott.

The staff is super friendly and the hotel was surprisingly clean. We will be returning to the area and this is where we will stay. PS they are pet friendly as well I will be sure to bring our little baby next time.

I was traveling with my Dad for medical reasons and this was a great value for a clean, quiet and well-located hotel. The breakfast supervisor was a gem and the on-duty manager a true diplomat. I would not hesitate to stay in this location, again. Grace and Peace

Rooms had an odd smell. Ended up in two of them because the door handle on the first room wouldn't work. The only bed choices are double or king. Mattresses need to be replaced. Everything was just kind of old and gross. Breakfast was better than we expected based on the nights stay.

Very nice beautiful hotel, great breakfast, Davon was excellent at check in. A little hard to find the location in the dark. Worth a stay if you're in the area. Not sure if it's pet friendly or not. ..

The saving point of this hotel was the very gracious, helpful breakfast staff working to be certain the full breakfast was satisfying to all. The carpets need replacing as they were dirty and worn-looking. The hotel overall had an unpleasant smell. I was duped into staying here because the call I had made to Marriott to reserve the Fairfield Inn and Suites where I had stayed before somehow was transferred to Hotel Reservations.Com. The agent told me that the Marriott properties had no availability, but the Best Western Plus was on par with Marriott. Then she went on to say that they had the best price for paying in advance. I paid $243.47 non-refundable, when in fact because my husband was military we could have stayed for $73.37 less. The hotel does offer a considerable military discount. So in the future, I will ALWAYS call the hotel via their local number in order not to get switched from the national reservation center to a 3rd party.

This hotel was a bit dated but comfortable and a great deal. The room had a refrigerator and microwave as well as sink, coffee pot and mirror in the main area. The closet did not fully close and I didn't see a blow dryer anywhere (but did not request one). The highlight was Ann who worked very hard to provide a great variety of breakfast items. She was constantly bringing out additional items and new healthy options to try.

The staff here is wonderful Ayana and joakima really made my day. I appreciate them for answering all my questions and making me and my family feel welcome. Love it here around a lot of different things.

Room was decent sized, however the property is rather outdated with smelly carpets. Breakfast options were minimal and they didn't even make attempt to ensure it was well stocked (no peanut butter, no butter for 2nd day, limited VEGAN options). Front desk staff were cordial but that does not make up for the shortcomings. No room cleaning for the duration of the stay - blame it on COVID. Shouldn't customers be compensated for lack of service?

Gentleman who checked me in was great. Fast, friendly and professional. I arrived at night alone with 2 small kids. I felt unsafe trying to pull into a side entrance of the Suites building 1722 because there were several people loitering outside the doorway smoking and drinking. I parked instead in the garage underneath which was well lit. Room smelled of mildew and cigarette smoke. No towel bar to hang towels. We stayed as a family of 4 but there upon check in there were only 2 hand towels, 1 washcloth and 1 towel. No linens were in the room for the pull out sofa bed so we had to ask for those. No laundry bag in the closet. When we asked for more towels and washcloths were were given the towels but also given 2 hand towels instead of the 4 washcloths we requested. Hard trying to bathe a toddler with a hand towel. Bath tub facet knob was covered with slimy pink mildew. Remote in the living room wasn't functional. Beds were comfortable, AC worked great and the room layout met our needs. Just spend the extra money to stay at the Marriotts next door.

We reserved our room online with Best Western Plus. Upon arrival an employee who was just leaving work for the evening, not only welcomed us but offered to assist us with our luggage. The receptionist was courteous and welcoming. Overall our stay was extremely pleasant. The staff, room, and amenities were extremely acceptable. I would definitely choose to stay at Best Western Plus in the future.

Very pleasant stay. Clean, neat room. Staff very accomodating & helpful. Comfortable bed, quiet rooms, couldn't even tell anyone else was staying next door even though the hotel was booked solid. Very pleased with everything

Although the bed was made, the bathroom was filthy with dirty soap scum in tub and on the tile, the door to the bathroom was dirty and the floor, the mirror had white specks on it and the base of the mirror had dried toothpaste spit on it.

Stayed for only 1 night. Overall good experience and good value. They have full breakfast though I don't have time to try it, wish they could extend the time to at least 10 at holidays/weekend. Coffee maker in the room is missing the filter tray, didn't encounter other issues. Front desk is very friendly and I am offered free water for being a loyalty member.

This property never disappoints. I stay with them monthly when I travel to the Triad area! The staff is always helpful. Rooms are decorated beautiful and super clean. The exterior is very well maintained.

someone doesn't know how to clean at this Best Western and the furniture and carpeting are so dated and smelly. expected a nice room as we just stayed at a best western in greenville sc and it was amazingly beautiful - CARY BEST WESTERN WAS GROSS and DISGUSTING

Now let me say, my sister is in the main building. She said it was fine. Her boyfriend said he can smell the mold. I am in the old extended stay out back. This place should have been bulldozed. It does have an appearance of cleanliness in the room. Walking into this building it smelled like old trash and soiled carpet. Walking into the room in smells of soiled carpets, mold, and tragedy. We gave the place a proper wipedown, but it didn't remove the dank odor. There is visible mold in the art and ceiling. The night staff guy is less than kind. The day staff ladies were helpful, but their stress was visible. Unfortunately the other local hotels were booked or I would have have just counted my loses. So here I will reside, in overpriced filth waiting for morning to come so I can get out of here.

I came to town to visit family and check out some new business opportunities, I checked into this hotel and right away spotted the following issues: phone in room not working, laundry room machines out of order, business center printer not working, and the General Manager was so rude! Since I was white and my (adopted) dad was black, the General Manager instantly judged us as a biracial couple and called the police on me for trespassing, I had only been at the hotel for maybe 3 hours, I didn't even get to sit down on the recliner or lay down on the bed, this is the most hateful behavior I have witnessed, I went to their corporate office and you know what the lady said? She said she did not have time to check into this incident and left me in a bad place without any explanation and here they have all of my credit card information and just taking my money and not delivering the service they promised.

Overall 5/5. Value 5/5. Wifi 5/5. I gave them a 5 based on value. Overall good. Water hot. Internet fast. Room was spacious and clean. Most of the furniture was comfortable. Toilet flushed well. Friendly, pleasant staff. Motel was quiet. Cons: Not enough towel racks. Parking lot is not flat, so it is hard to use the (only) luggage cart. Desk chair didn't go high enough. The bathtub had no stopper, so you couldn't run a bath (you could shower normally, just not take a bath). Breakfast was OK but uninspired, and some days they ran out of items early or didn't have them at all, including yogurt, oatmeal, muffins and bananas. The guest laundry had one washer and dryer, and the dryer was out of order. One side door has a broken lock and is always unlocked. They allow pets, one of which was howling my last night there. If you close the browser on your computer for a few hours, you have to turn off the wifi on your computer and turn it back on again to connect. Also, they block some websites, such as Youtube downloads. Guest advisory and note to management: the front door of the motel has a sign that says No Weapons. The problem is that this is never mentioned when you book. A motel cannot wait until the guest arrives to tell them that legal items are prohibited. As an example, No Smoking regulations are always mentioned in advance. The motel's policy is dishonest, and this dishonesty is guided by politics. Politics and business don't mix - either you're a motel or you're a political institution; you can't be both. I checked the two adjacent motels; neither has a No Weapons sign, and neither do any close-by restaurants. So you arrive with your concealed handgun and what are you supposed to do? Leave? Find another place? Boycott? Or ignore the idiotic sign? Worse, management knows full well that if they mention No Weapons at booking, they will lose business, without gaining any additional business in return. The motel put themselves in a stupid situation, and there's only one way to correct it - remove the sign. Hopefully management won't respond with some form-letter pap about the Safety Of Their Guests. Not only is that a political debate, but it's also not the point. Announcing the policy is the point - so potential guests can choose another motel.

Arrived late and left early so I was not going to cause a ruckus, but for an established chain the room was dingy and smelt like cigarette smoke. I've never seen so many caterpillars before. There were spiders as well. The toliet had problems flushing #1 so I was not brave enough to use it for #2. I wouldn't stay here again.

Was disappointed that the room had a musty odor and hair in the bathroom. Room was also out of date and in need of renovations; less of a problem for me than not being thoroughly clean! The front desk staff were very nice.

I would not return to this hotel, needs updating, remove old dusty, and smelly rugs, provide real pillows and a good comfortable bed. I never seen square pillows in a hotel, I had 2 tiny old square pillows and a sunken old mattress. My room was supposed to have a full kitchenette, with dishwasher, and basics of a functional kitchen, such as dishes, utensils, a few glasses, cups. In reality had a broken 2 ring burner, microwave and fridge. There was no utensils, dishes or anything else just bare cabinets. One of the beds was broken, the toilet was leaking the entire time, and the dusty, smelly rugs were unbearable, I broke out in hives, from the dust, and could not sleep from the bad odor of the rugs. I had considered moving to the nearby hotels, however they were fully booked. I would never stay here again.

Stayed one night with three children. Staff was friendly, water was hot, beds where comfortable. My biggest concern was the suite building needs ALOT of TLC. Not saying the hotel is bad, not saying it is great either.

Stayed with a duck as I had an appt for her at the vet school nearby. My stay was fine. I requested to be on the ground floor close to the entrance, and was on the second floor away from the elevator. Not a big deal, but I didn't want to lug all my stuff around the hotel. Room was clean, aside from a long and curly hair stuck in the shower curtain. Front desk was helpful at check in and check out.

The extended stay suites are in a different building than the rest of the hotel. We were told at check in that the elevator and pool didn't work due to the storm they had they day prior. Our room was on the 3rd floor. After lugging all our belongings for a 13 night stay up 3 flights of stairs we were greeted with the smell of marijuana in the hallway. Getting into our room, the smell got worse. Called the front desk and they moved us next door. The smell wasn't as bad, but got worse when the a/c turned on. I had to put dryer sheets in the vents to tolerate the smell. The kitchenette had no cookware even though the website said fully equipped. Our key cards had to be reset multiple times. There were holes in the wall for artwork, but no artwork. The stove made an awful clunking noise while cooking. Mind you, I had to go out and purchase cookware. The pool was never open (I asked the front desk on day 4 and was told it would be another 2 weeks). The elevator never worked. Multiple times there were people drinking beer and smoking marijuana right next to the entrance. I had my children with me. People were working on their vehicles in the parking garage. On night 2 there was a shooting near by. Needless to say, we did not stay the whole time. We checked out and found better accommodations after day 5.

It has been more than three years since I stayed at this location, and believe me, the changes made from staff to facility insure this will be my go to hotel for future trip[s to Raleigh area. The front desk staff was wonderful-top of the line Professionals The Breakfast Kiosk Staff was wonderful-I seldom tip these ladies, but in this case a 10 spot for myself and one of my employees 2 days Breakfasts. One minor irritation-not the fault of Staff, but three uncaring-selfish morons took the luggage carts to their rooms and slept with them. I hope they have a really crappy day for their selfish action. They could have at least pushed them out into the hallway in front of their room so front desk staff could locate them and recover for other guests use-in my case handicapped. Three trips to move my personal items to the car.

This hotel is located a short distance away from Wake Medical and just off a major highway. The entrance is odd as both the hotel's sign and your GPS may take you into what appears and is the entrance of a restaurant. You drive behind the restaurant and go down a short hill into the hotel's parking lot. Although this may have been the original entrance for this property, other hotels, some restaurants, and a few shops have been built with another entryway shortly before the marked BW entrance. You'll find it easier to enter and exit by that street rather than by the restaurant's parking lot. The hotel is older, and there are some signs of age, especially the room decor. The hotel could stand a refresh, which would help it compete with other nearby properties. There is nothing wrong or broken down about the current condition of the hotel, but a refresh would be greatly appreciated. As noted, there are a couple of restaurants literally within walking distance and some more within a short drive. Breakfast at the property has moved beyond grab-and-go although you are free to take your breakfast back to your room. Hot and cold options and good staff members who gave a friendly greeting and kept food and drink supplies well stocked. Overall, this hotel is good but not outstanding. If the price is competitive, you shouldn't have any concerns.

We didn't have a good experience here and had to book into another hotel nearby. Fire alarm went off three times at night. Non-smoking room stunk strongly of smoke. Elevator buttons falling off the wall. Stairwell smelled horrible and had spill on the floor. The staff were very nice, but it seems like maintenance has fallen behind.

Hotel appears to be a permanent or extended stay site for those down on their luck. I was greeted by loud residents hanging out in the lobby and walking around the premisis non-stop, congregating and playing music. I asked to switch rooms because I was initially placed in a separate building thats disconnected from the main hotel, which is where residents were gathering outside into the night. New room but still not pleasant. Spotty ac unit, toilet stopped working, old/aging amenities, uncomfortable bed/sheets, knobs on bathtub falling off, non-working ice machine in the main building, and the list goes on. It was so bad, I went to the store to purchase Lysol and air freshner but that couldnt fix the strong odor of an illegal substance in the hallway. I just couldn't get a full night's rest so I packed my bags and checked out early. On a positive note, all of the staff I dealt with were responsive and helpful, including Tyreek and Jai.

I booked this hotel because my sister and I are relocating, and the location was good. I paid more to have a suite with a kitchenette because we were staying 5 nights. At check in, we were directed to the suite bldg, which was no problem. Upon entering our floor(3rd), there was a terrible smell, like we were over the dumpster. Worse when we got in our room! To make matters worse, no kitchenware! When we complained, we were told that due to COVID, none was supplied, and that we should get our own. I get COVID restrictions; we were advised ahead of time regarding breakfast. No warning about suites, forcing us to buy cups, plates, paper towels and cutlery. Manager was to call me, haven't heard yet. And $$extra for amenities we didn't get. Will not be returning.

Not many complaints. The staff was friendly, The room was always always clean. My room was very close to an exit, which made it extremely convenient for me to take my puppy outside when needed. However, there was no grass. The area is as conducive for shopping. Breakfast options was a no for me. It wasn't bad, I just don't eat what they provided. But the process was “COVID friendly”. The room was a bit small, and the walls were thin.

This motel was very clean and all the staff were very courteous. I would suggest it to anyone needing a room close to Wake Med. Just a short drive to the hospital. The area was quiet and close to many eating places and should you need to go shopping, there are several stores close by. Check in and Check out was easy and they were great to welcome me. I will choose to stay here again when I have to come back to Wake Medical Center.

I've stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Great staff, clean, comfy rooms and great staff. It's located near great shopping and restaurants and easy to find. It's also convenient to the airport.

We stayed at this Best Western to explore Raleigh. The Suite was clean and the beds very comfortable. Internet was always on and very fast for a hotel system. Given the covid restrictions, breakfast was really good. We'll be back.

Love the suites and that it is in a separate building. I travel with dogs so this is great to have a building away from the main hotel. Rooms are fine. Some rooms do face a busy highway but my portable sound machine took care of that issue.

I checked in & left to grab a bite to eat & received a phone call of a family emergency so I wasn't able to stay. I contacted the hotel & was told I would receive a refund & to call the next morning because the manager would be there to make sure I got my refund. When I called the next morning I was told I wouldn't receive a refund. Horrible service!

My stay was because of the hot tube in the room. The room was clean and the staff was great. I arrived a few hours early and the staff prepared my room ASAP. The front desk made my early check in possible despite everything being booked.

My wife and I have discovered a great getaway where the management/front desk personnel are consistently hospitable/ friendly and accommodating. The rooms have been impeccably clean and comfortable. I highly recommend the Best Western in Cary, NC while your in the Triangle area!

If you want a lower price room, this is a good option. Today most more-expensive hotels have the same problems: only one desk clerk that has other responsibilities, neighbors who think their space includes the hallway causing noise late at night. My room was very clean. I would have rated the cleanliness excellent except for the three cigarette smokers outside the front entrance.

Love the staff and the hotel is awesome come try it out. It will be the best stay of your life. Grab and go breakfast is ok being we in a pandemic. You will have to bring your own pots but you have a lot of store around being it's in the best location to everything.

The Best Western in Cary, NC was a very nice experience. Clean, off the road so no traffic noise. Close to places to eat and the I-40. Breakfast was not your normal covid grab and go bag. They offer a selection, but they have disposable gloves so everyone remains safe.

I really enjoyed my stay, just ask for Randy if you need anything! He will make sure that you will have what you need. This hotel sets in a perfect area, so that you are so close to Raleigh, N.C. I plan on staying there again in my future!!

We had a rough start to our stay with issues booking thru Expedia but the hotel assistant manager and staff made sure everything was stress free and our stay was awesome. I would definitely recommend booking them if you need a nice hotel in the area

I chose to stay in a two bed suite at this location and I must say that it was great. After checking in and getting situated in my room I realized that I was getting hot. I could not figure out why the thermostat would not come on so I called the front desk and they moved me immediately to the suite next door.

My significant other and I wanted a change of scenery. A friend visited this hotel previously and raved about the in-room jaccuzzi tub. It was a WONderful amenity not typically offered by most hotels. The entire stay was relaxing and much needed. It is also noted there we went to several local restaurants, many of which were within walking distance and each of them was AWEsome!

Staying at this hotel was awesome the only problem that I had was customer service where I had one room and they didn't put me and my family in the room that I need from a family of 5, so we were cramped in a double bed suite. Again it was customer service fault

We enjoyed this hotel so much and we will be back over the next 12 months. The room was wonderfully clean and the front desk staff especially Vernard we super to work with. We stayed there an extra day because we loved it so much!

Do NOT book a suite!!! Separate building, scary, dark, smoky, and DIRTY. I am not a priss, this was BAD!! Do not stay here alone homeless wandering around, high people, and lots of grossness. HOWEVER, Vernard at the front desk was wonderful, understanding and a gentleman. He took care of us. We did stay elsewhere!!

We booked a jacuzzi suite for our anniversary but when we checked in we were told that maintenance had just taken the room our of service even though we checked in late so they offered to discount our room and put us in a suite. When we walked into our suite, we had chicken bones on the floors, the refrigerator looked like it was beaten with a baseball bat, the dishwasher was hanging out of the cabinet. We had mystery stains on the back of the bathroom door and also on the curtains. And the carpet was so dirty our socks turned black and we ended up throwing them away when we got home. We did bring this to the asst. managers attention who also had the housekeeping manage come to our room so we could show her how bad this room was. The lobby downstairs by the elevator smelled moldy just a nasty hotel.

The room had mold, gum stuck to nightstand, an opened can of cat food but they cleaned I don't think so. Room had a cigarette smell. Very disappointed in this location and it is considered a plus? Would not stay at this one again.

This hotel was very clean with lots of different doors allowing private .beautiful and quite rooms where the cleanest i have ever seen great place to stay great place to have meeting at or to have your employees stay on bushiness

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok -- better than average given that it was included in the room price and the lodging was a good value for the area. I would stay there again.

The stay was fine, rooms need deep cleaning, tiles missing in bathroom, mold around soap dish in shower. King size bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again if my regular hotel chain was full.

Amazing value, super clean hotel, incredibly comfortable bed, good shower/water pressure, nice sized fridge in room with microwave, carpets VERY clean, nice toiletries! Fast polite check in. Quiet, convenient hotel right next to two other high end hotels--area feels safe. 15 minutes drive to RDU. For me one of the reasons I booked here was I needed the use of a fitness center and this one is VERY well equipped. I was able to use it in the middle of the night and get in the 3-hour workout I needed as I was preparing for a competition. Good strong wifi signal, excellent for streaming etc. I will DEFINITELY be back again!

Vernard's customer service skills set this Best Western apart from any other chain. The room was spacious and comfortable. Even though the decor is 'dated', everything was very neat and tidy. Only suggestion would be more towels in the bathroom.

Awesome experience! From arrival to departure staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and were equipped with microwaves and refrigeraters. Breakfast sinsited of the best eggs and homefries I have ever had. Coffee was always fresh.

I have stayed at many This Best Western properties and this one is the best managed of all. Managment and staff are extremely friendly and helpful I've gotten to know most of them and a frist name basis.

When we travel, we always stay in the Best Western Hotels. So friendly, comfortable stays, Prices are just right...The rooms are always cleaned to perfection, and have everything we need. The house keeping department does a wonderful job, the front office/desk is so welcoming and friendly, and the entire hotel is lovely. The dining room is always clean and the food is delish. We couldn't ask for more!!! We love the Best Western Hotels!

The hotel is ok for the price. Upon arrival I was given a first floor room which was nice and upgraded but the window didn't have closing curtains, only the see thru ones closed so people outside could see directly in my room. Went to the front desk and told them and they moved me to a room on the second floor. Total downgrade from the room on the first floor as the room doesn't look near as nice as the room on the first floor. Bummer. Overall the hotel is fairly clean but the layout is quite confusing.

I was dealing with a very hard situation having to rush my pup up to a close by animal ER for internal bleeding. The kindness that was expressed to me but such a fantastic staff could not have been better.

Husband and I drove 8 hours straight. Was told no room was available due to a misunderstanding of my arrival time. Lady Samone [Front Desk], saw to it that my husband and I received a room right then and there. Thank you for your hospitality!

Always welcomed with a smile from the friendly staff. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The exercise room is equipped well and is clean. We've stayed there a number of times even though it is a little farther from Duke but we have been happy with the hotel and staff and feel the extra distance is worth it.

For what I paid, I feel this stay was what I expected. The problem I had was that I received a phone call at 10:30, saying the hotel computer system went down. They were able to receive all information but my credit card number. I would not give the number to the lady on the other line . I went to the lobby to report this. I found out that the system had not gone down. They took my information, less my credit card number. I expected to receive a phone call from the hotel. I have not received any calls to follow up.

I booked and paid for a “Suite” room. At check in was told that the room I booked was not available, so I was given a standard room, but not offered a reduced or standard rate. That was strike one. Overall the hotel general hotel cleanliness left alot to be desired and the layout was multi-level and confusing. Strike two. Finally, breakfast itself was better than average and the staff helpful, but the seating area is way too small for the amount of guests using the space, so it wasn't very comfortable at all. So this place is out for us for future trips to the area.

I've been staying in Cary on a weekly basis for the past two months to visit my son. Since it's not business and I'm staying on my own dime (and I'm a guy!) I've been exploring low priced options in the area from Expedia, Kayak, Hotel Tonight and Airbnb. This is by far the best deal - clean and cozy, doesn't smell like smoke, reasonably up to date, nice, efficient staff, the HVAC is more than adequate and the free internet is amazing watched Netflix ll night long Only complaints - breakfast is adequate, but for the price it's more than acceptable. The gym was well equipped with relatively new equipment, but no towels - again, not a big deal since I could have brought one from the room. Only real beef was that on the way out of the gym, I realized that they had no cleaning supplies there, which disturbed me knowing that someone else must have used the equipment without cleaning. Overall, best value in Cary without a doubt.

We checked in very late on a Saturday night (Sunday AM), after escaping a warzone of a hotel in Raleigh. The late night desk agent (Simone) was immediately friendly, welcoming, and made us feel safe. Service was wonderful and everyone had a smile, all through our stay. The lobby was gorgeous, continental breakfast was delicious. The room was well-accommodated, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was a great 2-night stay! The area is very quaint and seems safe. Very pretty, with a roundabout connection to two other hotels. Plenty of places to eat and shop in the area. Highly recommended!

This hotel was nice and it seemed like in safe location. The hotel and room were clean and the bed was comfortable which was important to me. I didn't have breakfast as I had an early flight and it wasn't available when I checked out at 5:30 am.

Wonderful place to stay for a few days or weeks everything was clean and nice and all amenities could not have been any better.The breakfast was very good but if you stay here make sure you go next door to the Egg and I as it has the most incredible breakfasts and lunches and the prices and service is fantastic also if you show your room key from the best western you get 15% off.All in all could not have been any better.

The manager on duty was not a very good manager. According to the employee that called me via my personal phone, the purpose of the call was to usher my wife and I out as to prepare the room for a future occupant and not to demonstrate empathy for the current situation nor fix the issues. Few times in my life have I encountered people that were less professional. The problems never were addressed, items were removed from the room and not returned to us. Instead the two disputed the taking of the items. I am a solutions person. It is my wife not I that had a problem with the bugs and what appeared to her to be a camera in the window. My remedy was to buy cleaning supplies and clean the bathroom myself to my wife's satisfaction. Prior to departing for the day to tend to some business, I also purchased watermelon and a few other perishable items for her enjoyment and placed them in the refrigerator. Upon our return to the room, the cleaning and food items were not there. The staff refused to acknowledge the items were removed and implied we were lying about such items. It is not politically correct to mention the communication barrier encountered when attempting to speak with room service provider. I do understand my wife tends to focus on problems and not solutions. On this day she met staff that operated exactly as she. It would have been nice if while we were out for the day, the staff would have simply cleaned the room to the extent it was free of bugs in the bathroom when we returned (maybe bug treatment) and promptly removed whatever it was that was in the window that appeared to my wife to be a camera. Another option would have been to simply change rooms. Instead, we met resistance and particularly I was lectured on my personal phone when I was not even complaining. I'm a Soldier, bugs nor cameras disturb me.

I like the location because it is close to the college. We enjoyed a very nice pool after move in. Super friendly staff. They were helpful with directions, recommendations where to eat and shop and accommodating when I asked for extra pillows. The breakfast was fresh and had a wide variety!

I stay here for business and have to sleep during the day. This is a very nice hotel and is kept clean. The hotel staff is very professional and helpful as well. Their evening coffee in the hallway is good tasting and always hot, not cooled off. And, there are plenty of hotels and shops within walking distance. Can't say enough about this hotel, live staying here.

My biggest problem with this property was the staff. They were not friendly. Friendliness is often taught but mostly caught. My suspician is that the management is not very friendly. The other problem with the property is that it was designed by an insane architect. There are stairs everywhere and the elevator does not make it accessible if you have issues. I can't stay at this property again.

Our prepaid room (double queen bed suite with kitchen) was sold out from under us, instead we were put in a double twin room for 4 people with zero mention of the change before we got to our room. There was also steps into the hallway preventing the luggage cart from getting to our room. Hotel refused to adjust room rate, had to call and complain to whom I booked through only to be told it's up to hotel discretion. Then the tiny fridge in our room doesn't have a freezer so having to repeatedly get up to get ice all night. Breakfast is absolutely horrid. Orange juice is basically water with no flavor, they closed the waffle station early and even on hot plates, food is cold, bland and tasteless. Nothing like any other best western experience I've ever had.

We stayed one night, thank God we did not book more. We stayed on the first floor, room 103. The hallway leading to the room had a very strong odor of wet carpet/mildew. The odor was even stronger in the room. As we rested on the best watching tv, my wife felt a roach crawling on her arm, which I also saw clearly. There were several similar incidents of roaches walking around the room throughout the night. I don't normally write negative reviews, but I felt that although the staff were friendly, the fact that they would rent a room with such an overpowering odor is inexcusable. Be warned..

We left the coast of North Carolina headed to Cary North Carolina because of hurricane Dorian headed our way we stayed at the Best Western Plus in Cary North Carolina and it was a wonderful experience instead of being without power and being scared we sit there and watch the storm on TV which we can't do without power it went on a tour of the capitol city the following day we enjoyed the restaurants in the surrounding area and we have resided to evacuate every hurricane in the future

Quick, efficient check in. We had a nice room with a King Bed on the second floor. We had a quiet stay. There was a good continental breakfast both mornings with several selections. Friendly customer service support staff. Express checkout. No problems during our 2 night stay on a weekend.

We always stay at the BW Cary Inn-NC State when visiting overnight. Convenient location easy off and on the interstate. Very clean...very helpful staff. The beds are comfortable, very clean. The free breakfast is usually awesome...last visit, everything was good, but needed to be warmer....other than that no issues. This is our go to hotel when we stay overnight in Cary while visiting family.

I went to a concert so I wasn't at the hotel much but it was average. The price was decent and it was an okay place to sleep for the evening. The layout of the hotel is sorta strange, and they have two separate buildings. I was sent to the "other building" but ended up having to go on a scavenger hunt for my room, which ended up being in the main building.

Staff is very nice have stayed here multiple times due to school and also a weekend event at the Fair Grounds. When I went back in March of 2019 everything was wonderful. This past visit August 2019 had a issue with the Check In since I was using a company credit card and this was suppose to had been straighten out 3 weeks prior to be arriving

Upon arrival, the grounds are well-kept and without trash. The hotel is a little hard to find, but once you find it it is quiet and in a perfect location. Check in was seamless and very quick. Access to the second building where the suites are is very easy. Access to the actual building is by key providing safety at night. Hallways are without clutter and easily accessible. The room is plenty spacious with a living room kitchen bathroom And separate bedroom. The breakfast every morning was great. Housekeeping on point. Check out was extremely easy. Everything about the stay was just simple. I might add a special note that Randy, assistant GM, this is very helpful and on point at all times.

Room are freshly updated and very nice. Suite was great. I would stay there again. Vernard was most accomodating. Location is very convenient to highways, shopping and Universities. Note culture de sac is a quick right off the higway. If you miss the entrance you can go in the waffle house driveway.

Stayed here for 2 nights by myself. Felt comfortable and safe at all times. Room was comfortable, staff were polite and helpful! Pool is nicely shaded and surprisingly quiet for its location right off the highway. Breakfast was OK. I was amazed at how clean the air conditioning system vents were! The filters were clean and the vents were free of dust and mold. Would stay again when back in the area.

Staff was RUDE and unfriendly, housekeeping NEVER came once in 5nights... had to ask for everything from soap to toilet paper and towels... lied about the pool being open to secure me reservation.... traveled with B-ball team in 102degree weather and was told pool was open the day we checked in but from that Monday until Wednesday at 4pm when I got so fed up I had each room in my party call BW Customer Complaint Line to explain what was going on... they called the manager and MAGICALLY the pool opened RIGHT AWAY... they did not want us to be able to use the pool bc the staff was LAZY and said “the kids would DIRTY it” so they made up lies to keep it closed for 3 of our 5 days there... we travel all year long, for the last 5 years with our Team and this has NEVER happened to us!! Then the breakfast staff was so RUDE, not just to the children but full grown adults...rolling their eyes...not smiling or responding when greeted... told what ever is out is what we have when the butter and cream cheese ran out... I mean common but there's more the next morning... MEAN!! Never staying there again and we have the same USBA tourney every year in Raleigh, NC

This is my second visit to this location. I was prepared this time to find it. It's in a cul de sac with other hotels. Quick check in. Great bed. Overall clean. Quiet. Good breakfast. I'd stay again. I will add its set up a bit differently...but make sure you watch for room signs and you'll find your room.

I enjoyed my stay. The people are very nice. It's clean and comfortable. I always stay here when I visit family in Cary. I wish there was more parking because I had to walk to the opposite side of property from room to park on Friday.

Great place to stay at a reasonable price. Breakfast and wifi are great. But they don't know how to handle a Best Western gift card!!!! I still am trying to determine if they charged my Visa or used the gift cards.

I accidentally hit the wrong date for check in and contacted the booking company and they contacted the Manager Randy and he gave them permission to change the date for what we needed without any hassles ( which was really appreciated) when we arrived Randy and Ryan were very courteous and made the check in process very pleasant! In the morning we went down for breakfast and the room was very clean and well stocked at all times and Christine was very friendly! Upon check out Sandra and Randy were very helpful about signing up with the rewards programs for Best Western. The room was beautiful and very clean we loved our stay and will be looking to stay here again! The staff at this Best Western were the Best!!!!

Good Hotel for a good price, great breakfast. Good hotel staff. Location was perfect for my needs, convenient to restaurants and highway. Room was clean. Not a fan of the 1st floor rooms that have an additional door to pool area, you could smell smokers.

Randy, the General manager, displays excellent customer service. After we arrived to our room, Randy telephoned us to make sure we were setting in ok. We stayed at multiple hotels on our vacation (4/20/19 thru 4/26/19) and not once did we receive such warm hospitality as this. Thank you Randy for being so kind and caring. Kevin and Melissa

We stayed here for a wedding that was in downtown Raleigh. It was only about a 15 minute/ $12 Uber ride in which isn't bad at all. Pros: cheaper than staying in downtown Raleigh. The breakfast was great because it had hot options such a bacon, sausage, and eggs. The front desk staff was always very nice and courteous. Cons: the room we stayed in smelled so horribly of mildew that I was constantly spraying air freshener to get the smell out. We had a 3 night stay and our room was not cleaned once. The first day, we asked the housekeeper to return later and she did not. The second day, we were out all day and when we returned there was a “do not disturb” sign on our door that we did not place there so our room was again not cleaned. We ended up just going to the front desk for towels. We also found a bug in our shower. Overall, this hotel is fine if cleanliness isn't important to you and you want to save money but I would not stay here again.

This hotel is fine. The rooms are good and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is what we have come to expect, waffles, eggs, sausage, and fruit. My only real complaint is that the lobby and hallways appear a little shabby. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and everything is functional. If you don't feel like driving there are a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance. The price is very good.

Bad all around. Bathroom wall paper peeling.. hot tub dirty, no hair dryer, cleaning staff very loud starting at 5 am. Not enough blankets (had one set for two adults) and when asked more was told "we ain't got them". All this after being very hard to find.

Just felt like some of the details were not being taken care of as to cleanliness. Hope it will be better when I try them again. The door way into the bathroom was nasty looking, carpet curled up and a dark gap down into the sub floor. Please caulk this and clean it up.

Stayed two nights in two different suites lights didn't work, they ran out of clean linen four of us had to share two towels and no sheets or blankets for pull out bed. No fan in bathrooms wife and daughter had to keep door open to remove steam to get ready

We travel to the Hunt Horse Complex multiple times per year for American Saddlebred horse shows! This hotel and its management go above and beyond expectations. Will never stay anywhere else!

We came up for a two day stay booked as part of a team. The room over all was meh, what you would expect for a hotel of this caliber. However, the pool was green, like swamp green. If the hotel is not going to maintain it they could at least cover it. The first night was ok nothing major, if you are a light sleeper beware the walls are very thin. The second day we came back to find the house keeper had not finished cleaning our room. She did however leave her cleaning supplies. Including a sponge with hair all over it. The next morning as we were prepping to leave the toilet stopped working in the room. Front desk was zero help, said they were sorry we could go to a different room on the other side of the hotel! When I checked out I let the front desk know, that the house keeper had not cleaned our room completely and that she had left her stuff in our room as well as reminded her our bathroom did not work and we had to come to the lobby all morning! She said “wow sorry, her is your reciept have a great day. “ spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. I worked in the hotel industry for over five years and this was poor customer service.

To begin, the location was great for my group. We were able to get around town easily from were we stayed. The first person I met with when I tried to check in earlier was extremely rude, did not even bother to ask my name...just sent me on my way. I complained to the manager (very nice) when I returned and he "upgraded" us to a suite. After walking outside to another building for our "upgrade", I wish we could have remained in the main hotel. Garbage at the entrance, smell of cigarettes when we entered. Room was fine except for the loud guests at 2am and no one ever cleaned our room. I did not complain about other items other than the front desk issue but I was happy to leave after my short stay. There is a hotel right across the street if you need to stay in that area. I will not stay here again.

This hotel needs a complete overhaul!! Starting with STAFF!! They need to hire pleasant, helpful and polite people. They ESPECIALLY need to hire all new housekeeping staff who take pride in their job and who are constantly monitored by managers who take their job seriously. The efficiency rooms are in need of complete cleaning and disinfectant. They need to remove ALL rugs. The housekeeping staff before my own eyes fein “cleaning “ but walking through the rooms JUST spaying their bottles of green liquid. NO vacuuming done, bathroom counter wiped with same toilet cleaning rag. Eeewww The absolutely worst part was going into breakfast and being rudely stared at and not returning a good morning by THE MOST UNPLEASANT GROUCH! She could sour the milk in a cow with that look!! For three mornings my sister and I continued our good morning and a thank you and enjoy you day as we left. NO RESPONSE AT ALL!! The ONLY people who were greeted and engaged with conversation were STAFF members!! I suspect she hates her job and wants all guests to know it! Suggestion: give her another position where she DOES NOT deal with guests. She reflected badly on Best Wester Plus Cary, NC. I will not be back, I will book with one of the other two hotels next door I would hope they are much cleaner and have pleasant and professional staff. ALSO. Do you EVER clean the pool??? The water is mucky green!! I have heard this before about you and now I saw it myself. Time for DRASTIC CHANGE!

Clean Friendly and comfortable - not much else to ask for. Great breakfast with lots of options. Stayed in suite in back building but everything was good. Furniture could use a little updating and paking lot seemed to always be full. Great stay

Stayed at BW Cary to visit family for granddaughter's Birthday. Accommodations were very nice. As Best Western Rewards Members we were upgraded to a Suite. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. We will stay at this location again.

Was in town for a Hurricanes hockey game stayed one night. My expectations had been tempered given some on-line reviews, but since I would only need the room for a quick overnight stay I figured it would be ok. Was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, slightly outdated, but clean/well kept. Breakfast was on par with other similar style hotels. Rate of $60/night was a great deal

Was in town for the hockey game and stayed here for a night; booked the jacuzzi suite. Check-in staff was very friendly. I've been a BW Rewards member for years and this was the first time ever receiving a gift upon arrival. It was much appreciated. The room was impressively clean - even the jacuzzi. Comfortable bed. Didn't hear a sound outside our room all night. Reasonably priced Lyft rides to and from PNC Arena. Overall great stay!

Room wasn't ready at 4 pm check in. Went to eat and receptionist said it definitely would be ready when we got back. Wasn't ready. Waited another 20 minutes and got in the room at 5:30. Next day we left at 8 am and got back to the room at 4:30 pm and the room wasn't cleaned yet. Found a maid and got towels, because we were in for the evening. Very little water pressure. Left a day early. No refund since we booked online according to receptionist, which was OK, but she still made sure I knew.

The location to shopping and entertainment was awesome. We will be visiting again soon. Already making plans to return next month for a quick Valentine's Day getaway. Parking was great and easily accessible. Fred upgraded us to a suite which was a great added incentive to a long work week.

I was in Chapel Hill on Business and I chose to stay in Cary, because I needed a suite. so I chose Best Western. I was so please with there suites and the staff was awesome. The breakfast was good the location was great

I found this hotel online and booked a room through the website. We had a suite with 2 queen beds and a full kitchen. The room was fine (though seemed a bit worn) and met all of our needs. I would stay here again.

I highly recommend this Best Western Plus for anyone staying in Cary or the Raleigh area. Sandra, who was working at the front desk, was amazing!!! She was so friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay. She really went above and beyond to make sure that I had a great stay...I truly felt like a valued guest. Everything about my stay here was fantastic. My room (1-king bed) was very spacious and had everything I needed. The employees are happy to help if you need anything. Another big plus for me was the quality and speed of the Internet connection. Many other hotels I've stayed at have very "spotty" Internet. The TV and selection of channels was also better here than at other, more expensive hotels I've visited. Location of this hotel is also great...lots of shopping and dining options around, and close to the Interstate, so easy to get to and from where you need to be. Value also can't be beat, especially for what you get. Even though it's an older building, the hotel was very clean, had modern amenities, and has been very well-maintained. Don't pay more somewhere else...stay here!!! It is top-notch!!!

The staff was great, and the room was okay as far as amenities, however, the room was not clean. Half eaten cookie on the floor from a previous guest, hair (not mine because I had just walked in), and the bathroom floor was not clean. If it hadn't been so late, and I hadn't been so tired, I would've complained and requested a room change.

Whole place smells like an abandoned building. Pretty sure they were under water during a hurricane and never got rid of the mold afterwards. The two tiny dehumidifiers in the hall can't keep up. Couldn't tell if the colorful carpets were supposed to be that way or just growing new life forms. This would probably be a condemned building in a state with health & safety laws, but I assume NC hasn't developed those yet. On the plus side the staff was friendly!

Needed a last minute place to stay and they were able to accommodate my needs. Very clean room. Only issue was the very little amount of water pressure coming from shower. AC kept the room at ideal temperature. Breakfast buffet has many choices and kept well stocked. The check-in and check-out process was easy and the staff was courteous and friendly. Would recommend this hotel as the location off side off the main road makes for a quiet and peaceful night.

While trying to find a house to buy (relocating to NC from CA), I needed a place to "live" temporarily (no more than 30 days or so). I have stayed at the Extended Stay and it was just disgusting but it was cheap, so I said to myself - never again, I will just find something else and pay more. This place really is a hidden gem. It is certainly not the best and definitely not the worst! Pros: -prices are in the middle of the lane - if you go cheaper and go to an extended stay, you will definitely see the difference so it's worth it to come here and pay a little bit more...if you have the budget to spend even more money than sure, go someplace else/better. -hot breakfast included - I mean its not the best breakfast and I'm sure the eggs are powered but it helps when you are on a limited budget, this is one less meal you have to pay for throughout your day. There's also cereal, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, etc...At the extended stay, I was lucky if there were any mini muffins left by the time I got up to the front of the hotel. -I'm in the king suite which included a kitchen w/frig, stove, microwave, and dishes. There's also a sofa with a pull out bed and the king bed is in an actual bedroom. -location, it's about 1 mile from shopping centers and the grocery stores... can't complain. Cons: -The main building has a musty old run down smell. I'm grateful I'm in the suites building because it doesn't smell the same. It still smells "old" but not musty. -Its supposed to be a non smoking building but someone is FOR SURE smoking! I'm not a smoker so I can smell it easily. But, I only really smell it in the evenings and it doesn't linger. -there are a few sketchy type of folks I see here but they might be in transition just like I am so who am I to judge - overall I still feel safe and unbothered. I'm glad I found this place, the price is reasonable for what you get.

This may not be a fancy and updated "NEW" but the customer service and the price make it a gem! Also it is in a great area with many food choices abound. A great place to stay if you arrive late into RDU and want to get a jump on the morning interstate 40 traffic into Raleigh.

I have stayed at this hotel many times on business with the state. The Front Desk staff has always been on top of it and the housekeeping staff is very friendly.Breakfast could be a little more, Pillows could be bigger, Hotel could use a serious makeover.

We have stayed here two times this year for 10 or 11 days each. We love the suites with a sitting area with 2nd TV, desk and hide-a-bed. The extra TV was great when hubby was watching football and I watched something else. Though we really didn't use it, the larger refrigerator, sink, microwave and dishwasher would be handy for some. There were dishes and a few pans, but very limited silverware...only one spoon and one fork, but several knives. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The staff did a great job in replacing food as it was needed. They also didn't rush us out if the stated breakfast time was ending. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will come back again when visiting family. I just recommended this hotel to my daughter-in-laws family who have two dogs. The hotel makes every effort to have only certain rooms for pets, though I suppose that could change if they needed a lot of pet-friendly rooms. There was no "doggy odor" in the hall or our room.

Great area, very convenient location. Pet Friendly, We had a suite that was large and comfortable, would definitely stay there again. free breakfast was good and we received points for our stay, always a plus.

Descent hotel for the price, but they need to do something about the musty smell in the rooms. The have a bunch of dehumidifiers in the hallway that got rid of most of the musty/mildewy smell, but my room was smelly. Everything else about the hotel was on par for the price, the cheapest on that exit.

So we stayed here in February and had a pretty good experience and left a nice review. Not sure if management changed or ownership but we went Aug 16-18 and not as good of experience. The hallways in the main building had a bad musty smell. There are not fridges in all the rooms. We were able to get our room changed cause it smelled bad and had no fridge. Cause we were BWR members they moved us to a suite room in other building...much better. Breakfast was not as good this time and the staff was not as friendly. The AC worked well and the beds were pretty comfortable. We will be visiting another hotel next time. Sorry.

Bathroom door about to fall off (top 2 hinges completely off); tub missing the anti-slip coating; entrance door way looked like someone had broken into the room in the past. Paint "splotches" on the interior walls making it appear that they were covering up prior damages. Maintenance did not come when called.

Very nice hotel, in a very convenient area, it was peaceful and quiet. Restartaunts within walking distance. Clean rooms, very comfortable. Easy parking, nice pillows. Very good breakfast, very good coffee.

After a very busy work and travel day the front desk staff were exceptional. The hotel was clean, the rooms were well appointed. Very impressed with the natural products in the bathroom. Breakfast was average, but, good. Being able to walk to the Waffle House after the concert was a big plus for my boyfriend :)

Recently checked in to this hotel for an over night stay and we checked out with in a couple hours and moved to a different hotel. Having a young child that has asthma we couldn't take the chance of staying. When I tried to explain the situation to the young lady at the counter she could care less. We checked in, put our bags in the room, left for dinner and checked out immediately upon returning from dinner. Best decision we could have possibly made!!

More flexibility on the part of the staff, specially the manager is needed. Let me explain, we arrived from an over night bus ride at about 11:30am; We were a group of about 60-80 people. When we arrived, the front desk told us, there were not room available for check in at that time. Understandable! At about 2pm, most of the group have left the hotel to an activity we had at 3pm, except for about 4 families who where there. At that time, I approached the front desk an asked, if we could go to our rooms. The front desk said, not. Check in is at 3pm and you must wait to 3pm. Confidentially, the housekeeping manager, brought them a list of all the room that were ready and available. And the front manager told her, we must wait until 3pm and check in with the entire group at 3pm. I asked to speak with the manager at that time, and after explaining the situation, he said, I'm the manager and you must wait to 3pm, those are the rules.

I stayed at this hotel for the convenient location to the aquatic center where my son was competing in a swim meet. Right after our arrival we noticed a bad smell on the carpet, after that we got to our room, the telephone was not working and we had to call the reception to order some extra towels, they never delivered them. Second day we came from the pool around noon and the room was not ready, they tried to do it twice while we were there but my son was resting for the afternoon session and we asked if they can do it later, they didn't do it. Next day we asked the to prepare the room before we come back from the morning session, they didn't do it. Finally we called again, from our cell phone, to order more towels and we had to go to the reception to bring them up because they don't have any in house service person to deliver.

This hotel was a great deal and is so close to downtown Raleigh and the touristy spots. Parking was always easy to find, the room was clean, you get free breakfast and we were comfortable. Only issue was the VERY low water pressure in the shower.

We love staying at BW properties because they are always clean and comfortable. This is the first BW property where we did not have a fridge and microwave. We could do without the microwave, but the fridge is very necessary. We usually re-freeze our cooler ice packs overnite, and we were not able to so at this property.

We were surprised at this motel. easy to get to and it was first class all the way. We could not find anything wrong with the motel or the room we had. every thing was brand new in the room. quiet air conditioner and the shower and curtain were spotless. they provided a free hot breakfast with plenty of seating and 2 ladies on duty to make sure all was full and hot. If I am ever this way again we will stop here for sure. The staff was great also.

I really dont know where to begin with this so I will start from the beginning, I been a bestwestern guest for over 4 years ,and have never been so upset with this stay.on arrival I arrive early ,so I was told by Sandra who was very nice that our room wouldnt be ready to 1,that was fine,so we got a bite to eat,I did ask her did my room come with a micro and fridge, she said yes,so when we check in and went to our room #103 ,I notice we didnt have what I ask,so I went back down and I was told by a gentleman I assume he was a manager, he was very nice,that I was book with a 3rd party, I was like I book thru best western, he said he suggested when I book again call the hotel directly and tell them what I want,I was like I didn't know that,but he would get with maintenance to see if there was an extra fridge and they had one.thats day one,2nd day we went out and about and I stop by the desk and told the young lady we was gone for today, and they could do our room,she said no problem, we where gone maybe 4 to five hours,so when we got back open the door room hadn't been touch,so I go back down stairs and spoke with the gentleman at desk and told him of.my findings.he said you right they didnt get to your room,I said unhuh,can I have some clean towels,he handed me 1 set of towels I said its 2 ppl,he said I'm sorry but housekeeping hasn't done laundry, so I shook my head and went to the room ,and told my husband ,I told him I was sick of this,he went to the desk came back with 3 sets of towels,and was told the towels where for the new guests,hmmp.so I decide whatever and went to the pool, well I'm sitting at the pool maybe 20 min ,other ppl was out there and there was a child swimming, so I seen maintenance walk by,but didnt pay it any attention, finally maintaines come over and say,I'm sorry but we have to close the pool ,I'm like okay, wasnt given a reason why,but assume maybe the pool was dirty ,day 3 we went out and stop the desk and told them same thing, came back a few hours later room had not been touch,so at this time I was hot.i go to the desk and ask for explanation, and I get this,housekeeping had 15 check out and she is behind,hmmmm dont sit well with me,I use to be a housekeeper, in the morning they knock on your door and ask you if you need something, never happen and we didnt have a disturb sign on door So this lady tells me well they cant clean the room while u n it I wasnt in it 2 days ago each time I told u I was leaving,so I said u know what when I report you and this hotel for bad services you want like it.so she comes behind me and find house keeping. So the housekeeper comes.by she gives us towels,toilet paper ,and a big bag to put 3 days of trash n.after Sandra and the other lady comes and ask does she comes.Sandra was very polite and apologize over and over,and wanted to up grade us to a room with a jacquizz, no that was fine, who wanted to pack and go to another room,we was leaving the next day,she said I also put 6000 pts to my reward, I said ok The day came for us to check out,my husband woke me up fussing like crazy,when he went on the bathroom roaches,yes ,so he takes pic and went and got the front desk ppl,they was like oh being on the first floor near pool you bound to get water bugs.i just kept saying I had enough,we pack and we left So on the way home a 7 hours drive I call cooperative to tell them about my stay,come.to find out I never got the points, I ask for my stay to be reburstive Its pending on this and that, we will see If you dont believe. Look for your self.

We were passing through on our way home and needed somewhere to stay. This was a very nice hotel with a great location close to food and the mall. The hotel was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful too. I would recommend staying here again.

Bad hotel experience elsewhere for 2 nights before coming here so this was a relief. Three of us slept in 2 queen beds comfortably. Nice room, good beds, not great but good. Accommodating, friendly staff. Will stay here again.

I arrived for a conference, and while the staff was friendly, the room I had was just okay. Smelled moldy in the hall. Discovered a very upsetting news report on some activities that occurred on the property. Visited some fellow conference goers, and their room was moldy, bed was broken, and full of hairs. Got scared by people loitering outside when I came in. Very disappointing for a nice area like Cary. I will not be returning in the future. Think twice.

I've been staying here on business and have found the hotel and staff to be doing an excellent job. It's very reasonably priced and super clean. The breakfast is better than most, coffee always ready, I've not found anything to complain about. I will continue to stay here when I'm in the area. Thank you!

Finding my way into this Best Western and part of that was my navigation directions. Once I arrived it was all up from there. The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and smiled. The lobby was very nice and very clean with no funky odors. I had a king room which again was very clean, the A/C unit worked just like it is supposed to. Some may say the rooms are small however I did not feel that way at all there was a king bed so there can only be 2 people and the room was just fine in size, accommodations, aesthetically, and clean! The morning breakfast was actually very nice, everything was fresh and someone was there making sure everything was refilled promptly. No complaints (ask anyone that knows me I always find something to complain about). My difficulty in finding this hotel was made up for as soon as I pulled up. Thank you very much to all of the staff at this Best Western as you are all the people that made my stay so very pleasant! Thank you, you all do a GREAT job! I hope I have the opportunity to return here in the future.

Overnight stay to prevent a long drive back home. The check-in process was quick and easy. The rooms were of a decent size, the bathroom could have had more space. The bed was comfy. The microwave and fridge was convenient. The breakfast was decent and the breakfast area was clean and well stocked.

The ceiling was falling. There were literal parts of the ceiling that lingered in the hallway below, where vending is located, for my entire stay. The elevator at one point malfunctioned, and the person riding with me mentioned that it was the second time it had happened on their stay. I was unable to check into my room until 5 pm even though the advertised time is 3pm and I made my travel arrangements and plans based on this. I had to sit in the parking lot while my room was

I have been staying at this hotel once a week for the last 2 months and wouldn't choose another hotel to stay for the night. The staff is amazingly helpful and very friendly. The rooms are always clean and the breakfast is really nice, always look forward to grabbing a bite before I hit the road again.

Asst manager refused to concede to making a mistake and overcharged me for cancellation at last minute because of their error. I had to cancel as Asst manager claimed he had no such reservation for one of the rooms I booked under a specified name even though he later disclosed he found the reservation. I had to cancel all rooms because I needed my whole family to stay together for graduation weekend. Terrible management.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I got an excellent price and the location was good. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. The hotel and room need updated. Also, there was not a refrigerator in our room but we did not ask for one either.

We needed a place to stay for an extended period of time which had a kitchen. We also needed to bring our dog. Best Western Plus was able to answer our needs. It was a quite place to stay and having a bedroom door which separated the areas was perfect.

Our room was comfortable, It was quiet despite being near the interstate.The room was clean, the hallways could use a little more attention as far as cleanliness. We had a suite with a separate sitting room so my son could stay up and watch TV which worked out well except we never found the remote for the TV. Breakfast was good. All in all A pleasant stay.

The desk staff was very helpful in making sure our late arrival was handled quickly and smoothly both checking in at 2 am and checking out at 10:30 am We would have liked to be closer to airport but this location was not too far. If you can Uber back to the airport this would be better but otherwise, call your own cab. We did not have a good experience with the one they called to take us back to the airport.

2nd stay this location, convenient for our needs. Very helpful staff, room and bed very good. Convenient t to shopping g and restaurants. Slight challenge to finding the entrance but once you know it easy.

This was a great experience. Wonderful and help ful staff .Room was amazing, quiet and clean. Love the blackout curtains. No problems what so ever with this hotel stay would recommend to anyone in town.

Doors slam all through the night. Breakfast was just terrible. The employees are nice from what I can tell. Still doesn't make it worth the stay though. If you want to be able to get some sleep, this place isn't for you. If you like to enjoy a good breakfast, this place isn't for you.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The shower worked well. The internet worked well. The AC worked efficiently and quietly. The breakfast was better than anticipated, with greater variety than imagined (milk, juice, coffee, bagels, muffins, eggs, Canadian bacon, waffles, bananas, apples, yogurt ... more). Recommendations: parking lot on side is very poorly lit; refrigeration would be nice; ice on each floor would be nice (directions to get to ice warranted); upon checking in guests, suspend casual chitchat with fellow employee & tend to customer promptly

Always stay here during my event twice a year.. The staff is pleasant and helpful. They have a great breakfast in the morning.The suite is large and roomy. This place is the Best value for my money. I recommend it.

Best value in the area. Large Queen suite two fills beds,we only needed one bed. Bedroom are had 2 luggage holders which was nice.Living room had a TV and a couch and end chairs,end tables,no eating table, suite included full refrigerator, old dishwasher I was afraid to use, electric stove, and microwave and pots and silverware. Bedroom had another TV. Included a full gluten breakfast, waffle machine, biscuits and gravy. I am GLUTEN FREE nothing much for to eat but eggs, they did have packaged grits without flour. They had low fat yogurt, apples and bananas. Coffee was bitter so I made my own in my room. Shower made a horrid sweeping noise and did the electric stove.

Lesvi Guzman made my and my wife's stay very special by providing for a very clean room. The location is ideal with Hwy 64 and Crossroads Plaza nearby. The amenities are perfect for the price. Will definitely stay again.

I called ahead to let them know my family would not be arriving until 12:30am and to make sure there was a room ready for us...yes, we had reservations. As we entered our room, it was dis-shoveled and had no bed clothes. Ugh! When we dragged back to the front desk, Sean recognized something was wrong and met us with gentleness gave huge apologies. He upgraded us to a sweet and apologized again. Kudos to Sean. The breakfast staff was very friendly and the food was great. Our room was clean and updated. Although the return air vent had not been vacuumed in a long time and the HVAC system was a bit noisy. Other than that the room was quiet to any outside noise. The beds were adequate but the blankets, sheets, and towels were a little rough. Water pressure was fine and the water stayed hot thru 4 showers. I would try this hotel again if we come back to the Raleigh area.

I recently stayed at this hotel. While my stay was relatively pleasant and quiet, I was charged the following day for over $170 for a SMOKING FEE!!! there is one major problem. I was alone, and I DONT SMOKE! so how did they come to the conclusion someone smoked cigarettes in that room?? I called after seeing this ridiculous charge and they told me nothing ,other than the manager and a hotel employee went in after I checked out and smelled smoke. WHAT SMOKE!?? I have a travel vaporizer which emits essential oils to help me sleep but it doesn't leave any lingering odor and it certainly didn't break or damage anything in that room!The manager was completely unhelpful and rude. I would NEVER stay at this hotel or any chain of Best Western again after this treatment. I have disputed this with my bank and have attempoted to get it removed by the hotel with no luck so, if this doesnt get resolved, they will see me in court. This will not end until I am reimbursed MY money! i did nothing WRONG....NOTHING.

We were looking for a modestly priced hotel with free internet and breakfast. Normally stay at slightly more upscale chains. Managed to get an extremely good rate at this venue on one of the internet hotel sites. Glad we did!!! This is a high quality, modestly priced hotel. Finest Best Western I have ever stayed in. Staff was efficient and friendly. Premises were spotless. Room was very large (king bed with sofa and desk). At least 50% larger than what one would normally expect. Breakfast was plentiful. All the normal breads, two types of eggs, sausage, fruit, cereals, etc. There was plenty to eat for the gluten free members of our party. Location is excellent. Near the city and the airport.

We stayed in one of the suites since we had our adult daughter with us. This worked out well. We encountered two minor issues that were quickly corrected. At check-in it was suggested that we ask for sheets for the fold-out bed but I was told they would be in the room. They were not so that required a call to get them sent up. The second problem is that the suites are in a separate and unconnected building that has 1 cart. Not everyone returns the cart to the lobby, so I had to hunt every floor to find where it had been left. And of course it was always in the last place I looked. Other than these issues the room was adequate for our needs and the staff was friendly. Since we were in town to see family we did not take advantage of the breakfast.

It was great hotel on our way back from Florida to Washington DC. The beds were comfortable and the suite was great. We did stop in Raleigh for quick site seeing and hotel was only 10 minutes away from downtown. Thank you

My family is relocating to Raleigh, NC and we went down for a few nights to check out the area before making the move. We originally chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and reasonable with the fee but at the last minute didn't need to bring our dogs. The lobby is nice, clean and updated. The free breakfast area is a whole separate room that can be closed off. We had a choice to stay on the second floor or the first and we chose the first since we knew we would be busy during the day and want easy access to our room when we got back. The hallways weren't that long, and that was nice because we were all the way at the end next to a door that lead outside. (I'll come back to that) We got a Jacuzzi room and the Jacuzzi was really nice, can hold two people comfortably. The shower on the otherhand was like trying to shower in a coffin. Very very tight, but it was only a couple nights. The pillows on the bed were so small I thought they had mistakenly given us throw pillows that went on the couch (a nice place to sit in the room) so I went to the front desk and they gave us more without hesitation. But the pillows weren't the wrong kind, they were super small, smaller than a standard pillow. That is what they had for the king sized beds. So we had to piece together our pillow situation, sleeping wasn't comfortable any night. The room was dark with a dim light by the door and a lamp on each side table and one on the desk, the bulbs weren't that bright. The only place to do makeup or check anything else out in a mirror that requires light was done in the bathroom. Since we were by the back door it was constantly being opened and slammed shut. Every 2-3 minutes or more, late into the night, not sure when it stopped b/c I went to sleep around 12:30am and woke up at 7:30 to the same constant opening and slamming of the door, people talking loudly/yelling at each other, not angry but sounded like workers just communicating. We saw one hotel employee with a large cart of laundry going out the back door, so maybe it was that.... constantly? You would think if people are staying in a room they would at least try to be quiet after a certain hour since most are sleeping. The hallway noise that never stopped, the pillows and dimly lit room were my biggest issues. The room was big and clean and comfortable otherwise.

Enjoyed this BW. Conveniently located within walking and or driving distance of several eating establishments (American, Asian, Mediterranean, etc.) Also close to interstate access. Nice room and very friendly staff. Would stay again without hesitation.

have stayed here several times in the past and the hotel is always clean and the staff friendly. It is right off the interstate and close to a number of eateries and shops. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the suites are roomy.

It is a good hotel at a fair price. We like staying in the suite, as it works well for our family. It is an aging hotel, and with that comes challenges with needed repairs. Last time we were there, our room had multiple issues with repairs. Our experience this time was better, but there were still a few issues. It was clear that our carpets had not been vacuumed prior to our arrival this time. The staff was helpful when we told them about the issues. Overall, we like the hotel.

This Best Western is near I 40 and convenient to Raleigh-Durham Airport. Rooms are accessed from interior corridors. Our room was very nice with microwave and refrigerator. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast room could have been a little larger but the breakfast was excellent. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We got takeout from the Hot Point Deli which is right behind the hotel and were very pleased with the food. Overall, this hotel seemed like a good value.

Many other better hotel choices in area. Too many levels for older travelers. The breakfast area was small. Restaurants close by was good. There was no one available to fix our door. Pets were allowed which I don't want to think about a dog might have been in my bed.

I stay at this particular hotel at least once a month. It haz always been clean and neat. The staff personable and helpful. The location is great. A mere 1 block off of 401/US1. Rooms are always in order and clean. Its across n from Cary town mall and have many amenities close by.

The rooms felt a little dated. Overall it was a clean and comfortable stay. I would have expected a refrigerator and a microwave in the rooms. Breakfast had a couple different items you don't see on your standard breakfast which was nice. Staff was very nice. Overall I enjoyed my stay here.

Flea bites on my legs, feet and thighs. Juccia didn't work. Water was cold for tub. Shower was really small. Breakfast was excellently. The women in the kitchen was very polite and breakfast tasted good.

Great stay, this hotel is located in a great location, convenient to stores and restaurants. Didn't try the breakfast however it did smell great. Hotel has a pool which was close for the season. The exercise room was good

This was a great hotel for a bunch of tired folks from driving up to see the Miami Hurricanes beat the tar heels. The room and staff were awesome. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The breakfast hit the spot and had just about anything you could want.

Cary Best Western is the very best place to stay for business or leisure. The staff is very professional and makes you feel just like you are at home. Breakfast was just fantastic and the location of the hotel is ideal for easy access to so many restaurants and activities. A truly great STAY.

Booked early on line, had confirmation, all was well. Wish the drapes had pulled shut to close the light out, but over all the bed was comfortable and the towels were fluffy! Nice coffee in the room, good breakfast choices in the breakfast room, the newspaper was a great find!, really appreciated having a local paper

Came into town for the Bruno Mars concert, hotel was in a great area. Nice staff, rooms were nice an clean. Enjoyed that it had a kitchenette in the room if needed. Great location to the PNC area an shopping!

My husband and I traveled through the Cary area with our two children and our dog recently. We didn't have any trouble with the dog staying with us, as there are plenty of areas to walk her for her bathroom breaks. There were a few points to note, though. The tub had a grayish residue ring in it and the bottom of the tub was oily. I didn't notice until I had turned on the water. At that point, I also noticed the drain was slow. We didn't use the tub and skipped our showers because we were in doubt of the cleanliness and operation of the tub. As for the mattress, wow - it was terrible. It was like sleeping on a bowed or warped board. We couldn't get comfortable and slept fitfully. When our alarm went off in the morning, our hips, necks, and shoulders were all aching. I had to go out to our vehicle between 3-5 a.m. to try to get some sleep there. It was actually better to sleep in my car. I hate to say I wouldn't stay here again, as the staff are really nice and seem to do what they can to make your stay a happy one; but they can't do much about terrible mattresses. The breakfast is great if you avoid the eggs, sausage, and milk. None of those were of any quality standard. They tasted terrible and I'm not totally sure the eggs were actually eggs. They seemed to be made from some sort of mix. A good night's rest and a good breakfast are important factors that are a deal breaker for me if I don't get them. If the hotel is going to skimp on hot foods, it's better to just stop providing them than to provide bad-tasting food of dubious quality. If the mattresses and food were better, I would definitely stay here again, though. It's a nice location, very convenient, and it's quiet. The staff are great, always smiling and professional.

My stay at the Best Western in Cary was very good.l The receptionist did an excellent job to make me feel welcomed. The room was what I had asked in my prebooking, that is, away from traffic and on the first floor. Also it was near the entrance way which made it convenient to come and go, etc.

1. Stopped using this one bc out of date, etc. 2. Upon 2d chance, my room was supposed to be suite- ended up in double with NO FRIDGE! Who doesn't have a fridge in every room these days?! 3. Beds are like the concrete floor. At least breakfast and coffee were good.

I booked through HotelStorm a month in advance and they cancelled it. Our 1st time in Cary and we were stranded! HotelStorm didn't help us, unprofessional, very rude and the hold time is unbelievable!

Can't see hotel from the road. I requested a handicap suite 2 months ahead of time. Told them needed handicap bathroom for our son. I called 3 weeks before our arrival to con firm my booking and was told the suite building does not have handicap bathrooms . On 9-26 I called and talk to Fred and he switched us to a handicap suite. Next day we arrived to be told by Leala that the suite bldg. did not have handicap bathroom. We spent the nite in a regular suite. I met Karen in housekeeping the next morning and was told each of the 4 floors has a handicap suite right next to the elevator. Noisy being by the steps and elevator but the bathroom was plenty big enough for his wheelchair. 3cheers for Karen. The first suite had a better sofa bed than the handicap suite. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good.The breakfast room was kept very clean. If it was not for Karen I would only have gave them a 2.

Great hotel for the price. Good breakfast, and close to NC State, which was the reason we were in NC. Room had some minor cosmetic issues, but nothing that would constitute a poor review. Breakfast was good. The usual cereal, coffee etc, but I really like the fried eggs, which was the first time I've seen that on a breakfast bar.

Was a great hotel. Location not so hot, hard to find . Especially if you haven't been to Carey before! Their no sign ordinance is incredibly stupid. But that is not. Best westerns vault. Otherwise it was a wonderful hotel.

A fair price for a good hotel. Clean, good breakfast, nice workout room, close to many places to eat and easy to get to. If I ever had an issue the staff was fast to respond and fix the issue. Check in was very fast.

Hi. I have been staying at the Best Western for about 2 weeks due to my house becoming ready! I have experienced a lot of negativity with a certain front desk clerk. I am allergic to. Cigarette smoke and when I went to her and told her about it she act like she really did not care. Also I had to change room at least three times because of her sewer or water pipes issue because I was getting a rotten smell rotten egg smell and it was just horrible sick and when I asked to be switch to a room with a refrigerator because I have medicine she caught a whole attitude with me and was just so unpleasant. She also told me about another employee which I did not need to know but she actually physically threatened the employee to me and when I spoke to the employee and she talk to her manager and nothing was done so I'm trying to figure out why was she telling me employee business that I have nothing to do with. I have spent a great deal of money in the last 2 weeks and the negativity that I'm getting it's just so wrong so I need to figure out who I need to contact to figure out what can be done as far as refunding a stay or I get like a night of a free night or something something needs to be done because my stage was just not as friendly as I thought it was going to be. The only clerk that really helped was Billy and she went out of her way to make sure we had everything that we need it and I do really appreciate her efforts unlike the other front desk clerk. Very happy and satisfied with the hotel. Stayed for the senior Olympics and it was very convenient to all the activities. I would recommend and stay there again if the opportunity presented itself. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast had a wide variety and was fresh every day

It was a place to stay. The price for the suite was good compared to competitors, but you get a very small kitchen. You do get a stove with 2 burners, a small sink and dishwasher which is good for the price. The room itself was nothing special, but comfortable enough to stay in.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Cay for 5 nights. The hotel was a bit dated, however it was very clean. The bed was very comfortable & the room was in immaculate condition. The staff were all very friendly, professional & extremely helpful during my stay. The free breakfast was a nice added touch as well. There was something for everyone to eat with a nice arrange of breakfast items for everyone!

This hotel is the cleanest I have seen in a long time. Everything you could possibly need was furnished and if you needed something, they would get it for you. The customer support was exceptional; they take very good care of you.

I was in NC for 3days for a wedding I stayed at the best western, the staff were very helpfull and hand on helping us to make our stay pleasant . SHAWN the maintenance guy was so so helpfull the room we were in didn't have a pull out couch he quickly move in action. Move us to different in less than 10 minutes .. Billy at the front desk helped me check in. The check in was quick and easy and the service was friendly. The room is clean and roomy. Bathroom is also clean and had enough towels to keep me happy. The bed is clean and comfortable. I also appreciate the fact that the hotel was pet friendly, as I had to flee hurricane Irma with my cat.

My family and I stayed over night at the Best Western Hotel. The staff (Fred, Shawn, Bobbi, and Lila) are super friendly and caring. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is very quiet. The breakfast was hot and delicious. We will be staying again whenever in Cary/RDU.

Quiet comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and very good buffet breakfast. Convenient to Cary Crossroads, Koka Booth Amphitheater and downtown Cary. Only complaint was that the free wifi was up and down so much it was useless. Maybe the floors could be vacuumed a little better, but the bathroom and breakfast area were very clean.

we had a great one night stay at this hotel. great location and nice area to stay in NC. there are some wonderful restaurants and coffee houses. the front desk people were really helpful and understandable with the situation we had.

This was a decent place to stay at a reasonable price considering the area; everything in the area was a little expensive. It was an attractive place to stay on the surface, but could be cleaner/nicer when looking closer. The outdoor pool and courtyard area was a pleasant view and was clean. Our restroom in our room did not have an exhaust fan or wasn't working; the air conditioner in the room was set that it could not get lower than 66 degrees - which is plenty cool enough, but my husband has MS and has difficulties with the heat so it would have been nice to get that a little lower - however we didn't ask when we checked in and I didn't specify when I booked either - so if we'd ask, maybe it could've been worked out - in all fairness. There was lots of convenient parking, so that was nice. Vending was disappointing - there was only a couple of things from the front desk - where it was quite warm (candy probably was melting) with no prices and you have to pay the front desk; the "vending" areas around the hotel only had the ice machines; nothing else. However, in the lobby, there were tons of local restaurant menus for places that deliver - so that was nice. However, there was not even a phone book in our room - so we had to go all the way down to the lobby to find the information we needed. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, internet was fast and easy, tv was big with lots of channels, there was a small fridge, microwave, sink area; coffee maker, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, soap/shampoo/lotion, coffee and creamer/sweetner packets, lamps had convenient outlets for charging electronics (very handy), alarm clock was easy to use and worked great, small table and 2 chairs, lounge chair with stool was comfy, lots of pillows that were very fluffy. Bathroom was small, no exhaust fan (or wasn't working), and there was only 1 bath towel when we got into the room - for 3 guests for a 3 night stay - called the front desk, no answer, had to go down the hall and ask housekeeper - who was very friendly and helpful - we just went to her when we needed something!

The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location. The workers were so friendly specially the from desk worker Mrs.LILA who was cooperative, smart and so kind. I think Lila will be the hotel manager one day. She was serving all the guests with full passion and motivation to make them comfortable.

Very friendly staff and nice hotel. Close to several things to do in Raleigh Durham Chapel Hill sits right in the middle of them all. Right off US 1 recommend staying here if in the area. Couple restaurants nearby and nice pool and fitness center as well as continental breakfast

Staff very nice and helpful, room was very clean and bed comfortable, breakfast was excellent and staff at breakfast so helpful and made you feel like she was their jut for you to make sure you had everything you needed. Was able too get late check out with no problem

Stayed at BW, Cary, because it is pet friendly and I once worked for BW. I noticed that corners weren't well vacuumed. Some corridors have a strange smell. The first thing I noticed in Room 119, 2 dble beds, was torn bedskirt. Was surprised since this is a Plus level Best Western. Breakfast was fresh with scrambled eggs and bacon. In room coffee was really good -- better than most hotels. All staff were helpful, courteous and made eye contact when greeting hotel guests. This kind of customer service is hard to find. "Kudos to your staff!" Try to keep good people.

Always my first choice due to the great guest service I receive from Fred & Lila Received noticed at last second that I needed to be in RDU. Fresh clean room comfortable bed, quiet hallway access to nice restaurants

I have stayed at this hotel for the last 12 years when we go down to visit grandkids. When we arrived at 3:30 in the morning after driving 12 hours I had to wait for a least 30 minutes for someone to sign me in. My room was never cleaned and the air didn't work. I will be finding one somewhere else to be staying in the future.

Excellent management!!! (Fred). The level of customer service is an extremely rare find - I'd highly recommend this hotel solely on that basis. However, the room and location are both perfect as well - Very clean and quiet yet within minutes of NC State and tons of shopping / dining plazas (Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc ... Target, Staples, Walmart - these are just a handful less than 10 minutes from the hotel).

Safe good neighborhood in the heart of Cary, Friendly understanding staff, Clean rooms, Great Breakfast, Pool--OK, exercise room very good, all-around very good hotel. Book a room at this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

The place was clean, has a good location, and for once a very nice bed. The breakfast was very good quality. The only down side was the hotel uses small pillows. The location is close to a major intersection so there is easy access to the surrounding area.

I travel a lot for work and this property had great customer service. Charlotte was great to work with and took care of everything I needed. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to this area.

We have stayed in the extended stay suites here several times over the years while visiting family. This time we also were able to purchase a home in the area. King size bed was great and living/bedroom separation works well. Being low carbers, the complementary full hot breakfast with eggs, meat, and cheese was great! Also 5 good restaurants abut the property. Large desk and solid internet connection allowed us to complete our business more quickly than expected. All in all a great stay.

This hotel smells old and moldy. The room they tried to put us in first smelled like urine and I was told that sometimes people bring cats and they can't get the smell out of the room. The first thing I purchased in Cary was Lysol spray. We were there 4 days on business and I can honestly say it was horrible! The beds were small and I'm not kidding when I say the entire place smelled. I repeatedly asked for a different room just to be told they were fully booked. The manager comes across like he just doesn't care and it was obvious the staff didn't actually care about what you said. And the lady who puts out the "hot" breakfast stared at us constantly and seemed to be judging every single move we made. It made eating breakfast there very uncomfortable. Everyone was polite but it was only on the surface. I will never stay there again and really wish I could have just gotten a refund and stayed pretty much anywhere else. 3 stars my butt! Don't ask for the handicap room, it's on the 3rd floor and is ridiculously hot inside! And it seems like people live there full time, there was a small bbq grill outside, and what looked like people with drug problems loitering outside the door smoking constantly. I was really uncomfortable!

I book this hotel for an event that my family and I attend EVERY SUMMER. It's always a group so we obtain rooms at a group rate. I reserved a room from Thursday until Sunday . I asked is there a full breakfast , a microwave and mini fridge as advertised before booking the room . The answer I received was YES. When I entered the room no microwave , nor mini fridge . I was disappointed , my stay is from Thursday until Sunday without either. When asking the desk clerk she replied there was not enough rooms with microwaves and fridges for our group . We should have been told by the person that obtains the hotel list for us that we may encounter that problem . I kindly smiled at her and said it's never been a issue before. When checking out the money that they held on my debit card they could not retrieve it . I was wondering could it have been because they miss spelled my last name. But it was spelled correctly on my card. I've never had that issue before neither . That was my first time at the Best Western hotel in Cary,N.C. and my last.

A permanent strangeness is random stairs all over the hotel. There are two steps up and five stairs down in the most inconvenient places. First floor rooms were requested when I made the reservation over a month in advance but requests are never guaranteed. We were issued rooms 244 and 245 which is the number 3 button on the elevator. Did you just think well who cares about stairs if they have an elevator? If you did I don't blame you but we could not get to our room without at least two stairs which is fine unless you want to use a luggage rack without spilling everything or having to lift it up stairs. We checked in and were immediately informed the pool would be closed for the rest of the day. A guest had broken something made of glass and they needed to clean it. The pool would definitely be open tomorrow. We were slightly disappointed and inconvenienced because we specifically booked for the pool but we just shrugged it off because it seemed a minor thing if it would be fixed the next day. It was not. We waited all day and they never fixed it. When my husband went to talk to the manager he was told they had to drain and refill the whole pool but it would be fixed the next day. My husband explained to him the entire reason for our stay was the pool. We visit Raleigh to see our daughter and we bring our five year old grandson with us. Without the pool we might as well save our money and stay with our daughter. The manager offered to take $10 (ten) off our entire five day stay. This was unacceptable. We checked out and made our way to the Best Western in Raleigh. We are currently esconced in our king suite which is less expensive than the King room in Cary. I have to admit they did not try to charge us an additional day when we checked out at 6 PM so they did get at least that correct. One of my favorite things about staying at Best Western is the easy access to coffee and half & half. One of the slightly annoying thing about this location is the coffee was cold and the half & half was empty.

overall it is fine with the price we paid. However, at the minumum, the window curtain should be able to drawn in. We were given three paper clips to put together the two panels of window curtain so when the room is lit, people outside cannot see through. We were on the first floor facing the parking lot.

Need a place to stay near NC State University for a 2-day event. Very reasonable price, especially for a large 1-bedroom suite. A few bumps and bruises in the room which is not a big deal. Room appeared clean (BUT see below). Free internet was reasonably fast (4 Mbps). A/C worked very well, critical for NC summers. Even the bed and pillows were decent. For the price, so far so good. But there were serious issues. Seeing a dead roach in the stairwell is one thing, killing 2 in the room (desk and kitchen) is another. The A/C intake was covered in a huge layer of dust. The toilet seat was loose. The drain in the bath tub flowed very slowly. Stains inside the cabinet, where plates, pots and pans were stored. Makes me worried about using those with roaches crawling around. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but both my and wife and I got diarrhea after breakfast on first day. I had planned on staying here again for another NC State event next month, but promptly cancelled my reservation.

I have stayed at this property numerous times over the years when I come to Raleigh for various sporting events. The hotel is centrally located, provides a quality room and breakfast for a reasonable price.

we used both the in room internet and all the normal services for two nights and found nothing wanting, a good stay. as we usually stay at AirYouNMe, I usually bring my own pilow. should have done so for this stay; my bad.

We stayed at Best Western, Cary/NCSU for a reunion. Our room was nice, the stay was wonderful, breakfast was good, but we didn't know the hotel had so many stairs ahead of time. I was less than a month from knee surgery and minimized trips up & down the stairs. Hotel seemed to be older but refurbished around an older structure, necessitating the stairs. Just be aware.

Stopped at Farmer's Market & spied recently opened bakery in downtown Cary. There was le Farm food truck parked by the just opened bakery on Academy. We tried the avocado with black beans, tomato & corn on bakery toast & their Mediterranean sun dried tomato and fresh mozzarella sandwich. Luckily, we agreed to split and share. I really loved the avocado toast & my friend really loved the tomato & mozzarella. Too good to have any left overs, but we'll be scouting where this truck is parked next. Delicious!

location in Cary was good for dining options. Close to the Farmers Market. Just off the hiway but hard to find due to an unlit sign that is really small.Pull into the Waffle House or you will wind up circling. If you follow GPS it will put you right back on Route 1 so you have to go to another exit and circle back again.

The good: The front desk and maintenance were exceptional. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure was great. The bad: Toilet seat was broken. Bedroom door was hanging off the hinges. Room service did not vacuum, bring new towels, or make the beds. Suites were in a different building, and hotel was a bit out of date. . Verdict: Even with all the problems, the room was comfortable, the front desk was great, and the bed slept well. You wouldn't want to bring your girlfriend or boyfriend here, or come here on your anniversary, but for a cheap night of good rest, I would still return to this hotel.

They rented me a jacuzzi room knowing that the jacuzzi was broken. When I called down to ask how to work the jacuzzi, the front desk staff informed me that the room I was in had a broken jacuzzi. How do u rent a room knowing the amenities are broken.

The desk helped to meet an expected changing need by upgrading our room, which made our staying very pleasant. The location was close to major highways, airport, restaurants, stores, markets, school, church, and very interesting sightseeing sites. Our room was comfortable. The breakfast provision has made our travel schedule much more manageable.. Our parking was under the structure. You can understand that how much it was appreciated when thunderstorm drenched our area.

Called front desk in evening to report soaking wet rug between refrigerator and bathroom. Water was actually on the tile in the bathroom making floor slippery. Was also concerned if there was a water issue, the tenants below might suffer if water comes from their ceiling as we were on the 4th floor. Was told no maintenance personnel on duty .. would put in work order to look at in future.

Staff is friendly and very helpful throughout the entire stay.. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Breakfast is great... If you have the rewards program it's even better because the points add up to free night stays very quickly.

Nice hotel overall. Enjoyed having a small kitchen available. Was clean and welcoming. We did have a need for early breakfast on the weekends because we were there for a swim meet, and the hotel did not accommodate this. We hope that they will consider working with this in the future, as the hotel's location to the Triangle Aquatic Center attracts many swimmers and families to meets - and warm ups are often at 6:30 AM.

excellent hotel the staff were very helpful. our room was clean land roomey. my grandkids enjoyed the pool. the breakfast was excellent they had cooked oatmeal which i enjoyed i would stay there again. housekeeping staff were excellent

This is a nice hotel in the area. The price is very reasonable and the hotel is really nice. Every time I'm in this area I stay here. They really go above and beyond for all guest. I really recommend this hotel to everyone.

Hotel needs updating, excellent breakfast staff. There are numerous hotels around them and parking seems tight. Location to Rt 1 and RT 64 easy access too. They have a discount for 55 or older, but you must book directly to the hotel, on line booking does not gt accepted.

Room was spacious, location is excellent (across street from great shopping area) staff couldn't have been nicer! Breakfast was good with both hot and cold items, Danish, etc. Our bed was super comfortable and bathroom a nice size.

We picked the Best Western Cary Inn because it was close to our son's home and we are not that familiar with the Cary area. The hotel was easy to find....everyone we came in contact with was very nice and very friendly. We had a very nice clean room.....#240.....comfortable king size bed. We only stayed one night, but we will be visiting again and will stay at the Best Western....the breakfast was awesome....a nice selection of breakfast items.....everything was hot and fresh and plentiful.

Very accommodating staff. Clean, great breakfast, free wifi. will definitely stay here again. Great location for Raleigh area. Close access to I40. Located on Walnut Street near Cary Towne Mall, Crossings, lots in close proximity.

The Breakfast was better then most. The people running the breakfast didn't look like morning people. The room was clean but had a old smell to it. It was recommended and close to where out events were taking place.

2nd time I stayed here, overall a nice hotel. Bathroom toilet was not cleaned when I first arrived. I cleaned it my self with Clorox wipes I travel with. Staff is very attentive and breakfast was good. The location is great and about 10 mins from downtown Raleigh.

I arranged this room for a person's first visit to the USA and wanted her first stay to be a "tell-everyone-about-it" experience. She assured me that it was a wonderful first night in the USA. Thanks go to the wonderful staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room. Although she speaks some English, they made a special effort to make sure that she was understood and accommodated.

this room should never have been in service. unfortunately I checked in tired and did not discover problems until late and the next morning. bath tile had caved in around the fixtures and near the tub, stuck back on poorly with grout but wall was not repaired, holes in wall around fixtures. extreme black mildew on plastic tub fixture. orange mold around tub, on fan grate. toilet leaked at floor seal, caused sewage odor. drapes did not close and had pin holes, letting in light. TV remote was disinfectable kind, which is good, but so worn could barely get buttons to work to change channel. desk chair height adjustment broken, wheels sunk into carpet and made moving chair difficult. found blood stains (not mine) on sheets after I had slept in the bed, disgusting. when I complained to Fred in the morning he offered me another room, which smelled of cigarettes, so I checked out instead.

I stay at hotels 4-5 days out of the week for work. This Best Western really did stand out to me compared to the other ones I stay at. Fred at the front desk was very professional and accommodating. He went above and beyond my expectations and made sure I was happy with my stay. He even followed up the next day to make sure everything was up to my satisfaction which it was. The internet speed is a big deal for me and this wifi was very fast with no downtown at all for the 3 days. The breakfast was amazing and had many more selections than what I'm used to for hotel breakfasts. The room was up to date and cleaned well. Honestly there's not one thing to complain about with my stay. Next time I travel to the Raleigh NC area I'll be sure to stay here again. 5/5

In town for local graduation. As soon as we opened the room door it was apparent the room had been smoked in. The hotel is totally non-smoking. Hotel was booked so we couldn't transfer to another room so an attendant came to our room to spray some smoke smell "remover". Overall condition of hotel is in need of some repairs. Price was right, but we certainly got we paid for.

I found the breakfast about the best at any hotel. A very very wide choice of items including real eggs, yogurt, toppings, bagels, cereal, juice, meat, coffee. Very nice surroundings that you could walk around and had a nice fitness center

I have stayed here many times before and it was much better then. Staff is very good, food was good, and amenities were good. The room itself was lacking though. Regular windows facing a major interstate, you could hear all that noise. The doors in the room did not open and shut completely. The noise from the hallway at night, well, you would not think there was a door.

Pleased to have received an upgraded suite when we arrived. We attended the week long horse show at the fairgrounds and was nice to come back and relax with all the options that the suite offers. Even though we didn't need to use many of the appliances, it was nice to know they were available. Plus the rooms were quiet and clean which is a huge plus in my book. Breakfast also had alot of options too!

We couldn't of asked for a better experience and felt like family here! The new building with suites are awesome! The price was great and the customer service was even better!!! There were some set backs but Carnell W took care of us exceptionally!! He is one of a kind and definitely knows how to rock customers service and bc of him I will refer others to stay here and if I am ever in this area again I will definitely stay here!!!

You can't go wrong here. Even if something is wrong, it's fixed immediately. Seriously, you will be happy staying here. Everything is clean, staff is amazing helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great, pool is nice (when opened seasonally.)

Check-in went fine. I had booked a Suite but it looked of lower quality than we received. The hotel is tired and in need of redecoration. Breakfast was OK with the usual cheap throwaway plates and cutlery. It was OK for one night but I wouldn't return.

Room and hotel was in a good area. Parking lot could use more lighting at night. Staff was friendly and room was clean and comfortable. Room had some lighting issues. Breakfast was convenient and staff in dining area kept the area clean.

The staff was genuinely polite and caring. The room was clean. Looked like they need to do some professional caulking work on the tub, as it was patched but not a very good job. Looked sloppy and unappealing. Otherwise everything was in order. Comfortable, relaxing and quiet.

Stayed here for the weekend on business. Bed was ok, not the best in being comfortable. My room had an odor to it, that Febreeze nor Lysol could cut. I went through a can of each in 3 days. When you walked into the hall, there is a mold/mildew/musty odor that is quite disturbing.. But the room had a old, stuffy, I can't describe it odor. I am unsure if it was from the carpets that need cleaned or maybe the air unit needs cleaned. At any rate, it was so strong, my clothes were permeated with the odor. No refrigerator, no microwave which in turns has you purchasing a soda on grounds for a whopping $3.00. Upon arrival, my reservation had been lost. Maybe that was the clue to go next door to Springhill Suites.. Breakfast was good as long as you got there early, maybe when it first opens so you can get things hot. Otherwise, the oatmeal is cold, the eggs are cold and so is the sausage. Just arrive early for breakfast and you will be fine.. I would stay again, but would check the room out first, or make them put me in an odor free room.. Room was relatively clean except for carpet..

Great customer service! The front desk clerks were wonderful and overall, our stay was perfect for the price. The building itself could use a little TLC to match the updated decor inside. We will stay here again!

My choice when on business in the area and has been for years. Always treated great by the staff here and Wil was especially cordial on my last visit. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance, Rooms are big, clean and always comfortable. Quite property and I rest well when staying here ready for work the next day.

Hotel-very Nice! Staff-very nice! Hotel room-clean, comfortable beds!, nice size bathroom, inviting decor, room temperature as needed, our room did not have refrig or micro, but was not requested, coffee service, hairdryer, plenty of soft, fluffy towels, lovely breakfast with loads of choices both hot and cold, laundry facilities available, and a very nice desk service lady named, Veronica, who assisted us with a special request above the call of duty. We needed about 15 extra large trash bags for a science event and it was late and we had forgotten to bring them and she allowed us to take some. That saved us worry and time hunting for a store. She was friendly and understanding. The breakfast area service people are very nice and all people here make this place like home away from home. The only small negative was a slight musty odor entering the room which seemed to not matter after a bit. Entry to rooms is from inside building with carts available to load luggage. Covered drive up area if raining. Overall a definite repeat hotel with nice restaurants nearby and easy access to main roads.

I booked 2 rooms through a 3rd party which put us in 2 separate buildings. Veronica at the desk advised us that only the 3rd party company could make the room change so we could be in the same building. With Veronica's help, the issue was resolved. She went above and beyond to help us and we will be booking directly next time. Rooms were clean and reasonably priced.

We were in a big hurry to check in---change and be off to an evening wedding---Will helped us make this happen. Plus he helped us sort out a couple of reservations concerning a future stay---very helpful!

The BW Cary is clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. On this visit the staff--particularly Will--went above and beyond to help us get into a room a little early so that we were on time for an event--despite being fully booked the previous evening. The breakfast has a nice assortment of food and there is a designated dining room.

Everything was clean, comfortable and pleasant. Excellent value for a double queen suite. Special thanks to Wil, who was friendly and welcomed us warmly, then happened to be there at checkout, too. Thanks Wil!

We had a one night stay here. The accommodations were clean and well stocked. We had a problem with the sink in the kitchenette and notified the desk. The gentlemen that helped us, I think his name was Yasir, was super helpful and immediately tried to find us another room. It looked as though he had trouble finding one and without hesitation booked us a suite at no extra charge. Our group was my daughter , her boyfriend and myself, so this was also more accommodating. Thanks Yasir and Best Western A+ stay!

Over fair experience, room was not serviced 2 of the 3 full days of my stay. Front desk said they were not able to give me reward pints and I made my reservation through Expedia. Desk cleark could NOT find bath towels and gave us floor mats to use after our morning showers. Room was servied that day after we left. Room was not serviced the 3rd day. My experiance has provewn that one time its a mistake, 2 times is POOR managment

I recently relocated from the Raleigh area and had to return for some important business. On Friday, August 19, 2016, I was reviewing my presentation but could not print my outline-on no-! Veronica and Monalynn came to my rescue! The presentation was printed and I was on my way! On Saturday, August 20, 2016, Howard gave me directions that saved at least an hour on my trip to South Carolina. He also joyfully helped me with my heavy luggage. Do you know how many times I have visited hotels where no help was offered with my luggage-really?! I was back on Monday, August 22, 2016 and was warmly greeted by Yasir and Howard. I had planned to leave on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 but my appointments ran over. I was going to stay in another hotel closer to the highway on which I would travel; however, I remembered the superior customer service, comfortable rooms and drove back ALL THE WAY ACROSS TOWN (through busy traffic) to Best Western in Cary! And yes, the great customer service continued. Yasir remembered me and made sure that I was comfortable. Thanks again to Veronica, Fred, Monalynn, Howard, and Yasir, and Will- Superior Customer Service!

I loved the layout of the room, but don't depend on being able to use the kitchen without cleaning the dishes first. The televisions were very nice and the furnishings were great. Friendly staff that is professional.

Back building have nice suites, recently remodeled. Beds are nice but a bit firm for me. Nice breakfast room also and staff was friendly. Will be much nicer once construction crews are not staying in back suites building as they are a bit noisy in the AM's and love to smoke on steps going into building. But overall, a nice hotel convenient to Raleigh.

The AAA guide book gave only 2 stars so we were prepared for the worst. Was pleasantly surprised by how nice our room was. There was also a small exercise room and a swimming pool. The hotel is older but taken care of. The front desk staff was super helpful. For example, when we asked about a place for dinner they supplied us with a pre-printed sheet of non-chain restaurants. Also within walking distance of at least 3 decent places to eat. With breakfast included, we feel we got a good value for what we paid. Oh, and we had no problem with hot water, but there were not many guests.

The suite was very clean , smells fresh , nice and roomy. Close to everything in cary , the moment i walked in , the front desk manager was very nice and helpful Breakfast was awesome. I recommend this hotel for super quality service , nice rooms and wonderful staff.

This is a great hotel! The staff was very nice. It is in a great location. There was a Cookout and Waffle House in walking distance. The room was clean and spacious. I enjoyed my short stay here and would recommend this to anyone I know.

Decent room but since I do not shower at night I found out the hard way there was only cold water to shower in the morning. I checked out and was told the manager would contact me but after several attempts they just blew me off. Poorly run business.

When I first checked in, I had some heavy items to bring into my room. With no cart available, the front desk staff helped me carry them all into my room. Now this was excellent help and they asked me to write a review for them because of how thankful I was. And yes, they were helpful, helping me to carying them out the next day as well. However, as soon as I was in my room I found food in the fridge. On my second night I found ants in my bed. The next morning, a cricket in my bathroom and I discovered the shower leaked all over my clothes. I am not a squeamish person but these things all were just so out of place and shouldn't have happened. At this point, I feel that the front staff know house keeping is not great (maybe this is why there were easy clean tv remotes in the room) and were trying to make up for what could be a poor stay if the cleaning staff messed up. I booked on hotels.com and got $20 lower than the in house hotel rate. It was suggested to me by another stayer to book on the first floor because smoke was traveling up through the walls to the second floor from smoking rooms.

I enjoyed this hotel. It's close to Duke campus and I didn't have to spend an arm and a leg for a quality place. Make sure you ask ahead of time if the room has a Microwave and refrigerator, as some rooms don't have them. I found out the hard way and had an expensive pizza go to waste.

breakfast ends @ 9 on the weekday, for people on vacation, that is not good service.the employees are lazy if they can't keep breakfast open for that additional hour like they do for the weekend. employees are there to work, not just stand around behind the desk!

We had a problem with our reservation and using our Best Western points. I called Best Western rewards because some how I had two reservations. The attendant at the Rewards help and Yasir the attendant at the hotel took very good care of us. We were upgraded to a King suite and received 2,000 additional reward points. We were very happy and satisfied.

I've stayed here before so it was a no brainer to come again. We got to check in early, it was very quick and off to our room. We walked into the room and there wasn't a fridge or microwave in the room. I went back to the front desk and was told they were all out of microwaves and fridges and didn't have any other rooms available. We were 1st on the list if one came available. Since my son is a vegetarian and has special dietary needs these 2 amenities are essential. Despite this HUGE issue, I will say that the staff was super nice and of course very apologetic.This was very disappointing and I'm not sure if I'll stay at this hotel again.

I would like to thank the staff at Best Western Plus in Cary, NC for making mine and my son's stay so very comfortable and enjoyable. The room was perfect and the beds was so soft giving us both a very good nights sleep. Wil at the front desk was especially helpful and so friendly . Nice clean hotel. Breakfast service was very good. Beds in room were very clean & comfortable. We stayed in a suite w/small kitchenette which was a little run down but functional. Bathroom was clean but door didn't close properly & toilet bowl was not secured/anchored properly.

Managers were great and extremely helpful. After a month of living there, they gave me a care package to ask how I enjoyed my stay. Cleaning staff did a good job each day of maintaining the bed and bathroom. Breakfast quality is average and the fitness center is okay (only a bike, treadmill, and weights machine). Outdoor pool area is nice. Enough room for parking and lots of places to eat and shop in the nearby area. Location is great, you can get right onto Highway 1 in no time.

Had a reservation for Thursday but called to move it up to Tuesday. Will handled the change and was very professional. Had trouble with the keycard to get into the room. Took two trips back to the front desk and a visit from Yassir who was working the desk to get me in the room. The room was clean, comfortable and what I would expect of a BW Plus facility. The caulking on the bathtub was poorly done, but not a major concern. When I checked out, the young lady at the desk told me I'd receive my final bill from booking.com. I didn't use booking.com to book my room, as when I called to change the reservation, Will could not find any record of it. I went ahead and booked the room through Will and he matched the price I read to him from my booking.com confirmation.

The BW was very difficult to locate and get to. I would suggest that they get a much larger and better located sign. The room was fine, but I thought that the prices on soft drinks and snack were outrageous - about double what a vending machine would cost.

After 20 hours with no power at home and 97 degree weather due to storm we decided to book a hotel until power could be stored. Nothing available real close so we booked the Best Western/Cary Inn and we were not disappointed. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. AC stopped working so we were upgraded at no additional cost to a suite. Small kitchenette, sofa bed, table, chair, free WiFi, bedroom was in separate area, 2 TV's and free full breakfast next morning. Pets accepted. Front desk staff was able to provide a few menus. Deborah in the breakfast area did all the cleanup and setup. She is always polite and offered help to any guest that needed it.

For the price it is a decent hotel, however, I will spend a few more dollars for a nicer hotel next time. The room was clean, however the AC did not work, which is a pain in the middle of the summer. When attempting to contact the front desk by phone to let them know, I got no answer either night, after calling three times. Other than the AC and the lack of responsiveness from the front desk, it wasn't a bad stay. I would recommend this hotel if and only if you're on a budget.

My husband and I, with our chocolate lab stayed 4 nights while we visited our son and his wife in Cary. Suite was small but well equipped, clean and comfortable. Pet friendly part of hotel in a separate building from main lobby and breakfast area, which I thought was a good idea. Separate building had some covered parking. Staff were friendly, Cory, and lady serving breakfast. Housekeeper , Onega? Did a great job.

We really liked this hotel and found it to be very clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and we found nothing wrong with the room. We did not have breakfast but it seemed to offer quite a few options. We would stay here again.

Friendly staff, clean. No refrigerator in my room desk manager said that you have to request a room with one so diabetics be aware if you have insulin that needs to be keep cool. Don't wast your time with their breakfast they were out of orange juice and milk the fried eggs were cold like right out of a refrigerator. My last 6 hotels all had a refrigerator in the room standard. good wifi

Had requested early check in when I made the reservation. Arrived around 20 minutes before 3pm to a very snotty response that - despite online availability and the parking lot giving the impression that capacity was low - there was apparently not ONE single room ready 20 minutes before check in. My room was dated, no natural sunlight, and overlooked the dumpster. Again surprising given the low capacity. Then I began to notice the dirt and grime. I have shoulder length blond highlighted hair. Found 3 separate short dark hairs throughout the shower and bathroom. The tub itself was gross and moldy throughout. There was trash in the butler sink. There were lost items (pens, kleenex, a business card) between the nightstand and the side of the bed. The luggage rack was covered in dust. The hallway carpet was dirty Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. It did not appear that it was ever vacuumed. There was a used q-tip by the pool. They came to scoop the dirt and leaves out of the pool around 2pm. Because people never use the pool before 2pm in the afternoon?!!! The worst part was that housekeeping broke into my room on two separate occasions. No knock. No announcement. Just walked straight in. Allegedly it happened on the first day because they messed up my reservation and had me checking out after only 1 night. Confirmed that I had late checkout (1pm) for the second day and housekeeping broke in AGAIN at EIGHT OCLOCK. In summary: every part of my reservation was not honored without 4 separate queries at the front desk. Staff were rude and unhelpful. The hotel AND rooms AND grounds were ***disgustingly*** dirty. Housekeeping will enter your room without notice. As a solo female traveller this is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I booked this hotel based on other peoples ratings. How on earth did I have the opposite (but provable with photographic evidence!) experience? Are those other reviews real??? I find that unbelievable.

Have stayed here numerous times. Always very satisfied. Employess are very helpful, breakfast is as much as you could expect. Rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable. Nothing bad to say. I'll be back there again next year.

Excellent facilities and staff. We have found this to be a clean facility and even when it was undergoing up dates, they seemed to stay on top of the neatness areas. I would recommend this Inn for those needing a place to stay in the Raleigh area.

I enjoyed my stay at the best western plus in Cary, NC. It is clean and neat. The staffs are very professional and kind. I love their waffle! Their breakfast is healthy with lot of choices of fruits. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I will say that we enjoyed our stay there. The check in was easy not Terribly friendly but very easy. The room was clean only down to the room was that the bathroom grout was dirty and loose. Beds were comfy and pool time was good. I enjoyed our stay here one major con I seen with this place was the lady who served breakfast in the morning was speaking loudly AT the people not TO the people. Almost yelling at people eating breakfast ... Very unprofessional and not personable.

I have been staying here 2 days a week for almost 5 years. I have watched changes in staff, upgrades in remodeling and procedure changes and fluctuations that my company has brought to the motel, and have noticed one thing continually...they aim to please their patrons. I am very content to stay here and would be disappointed if my Co. chose another motel because of price. I would gladly pay the difference myself, if allowed to. I sleep very well here. I thoroughly enjoy the breakfast. I am fully rested when ready to return to work. Knowing the manager's work ethic and what she produces from her staff is refreshing to see in action each week. I give my best recommendation to the Best Western Plus in Cary, N.C. Thank you all for making my stay a pleasure.

Loved the suite and the breakfast and using the WiFi. It was very rainy during our stay but we were able to park in a covered area and that made checking in and out very convienient. Full size refrigerator and seperate TV room was a plus for us.

Yasir and cory were great rep for bw, and helping me out with places to eat. They help me tried to find and apt to live in. The best part was that boh of them was ready to help a person that is from out of town to get setted in cary.

I stayed in Room 201 in May 2016 at this hotel. Check in was very pleasant. The room was clean and quiet. Continental Breakfast was included: all OK except for the pancake machine which cranked out paper thin oddly shaped "pancakes". Check out was very smooth.

Overall very good value for the money. Easy on and off the highway and very close to NC State where we were visiting. The lobby and outside grill/seating area are very nice. I can imagine families or companies renting out the outside grill area for parties. Plenty of parking, well lit gas station right next door. The hall way carpets could be a little cleaner, perhaps replaced, but otherwise the rooms were of good size, fairly quiet, good flat screen TVs, and clean bathrooms. And pet friendly is a big plus for us and out little dog, very nice.

Great customer service and reception! I purchased my room on an external travel website so I was a bit uncertain on the actual room and site quality, but just wow! The hotel is recently renovated and without asking, I ended up in a king suite that surpassed the size of my first rented college apartment! The location is nice- convenient to Walnut Street. I will say there is a bit of road noise, but nothing earplugs won't fix. Clean, spacious, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, free water and snack- I would stay here again!

We were guaranteed a nice breakfast per the ads. However, the hot oatmeal was not available. The container was unplugged. The waffle baker was broken. Guests had to use their hands to get bread for the toaster which was located across the cafeteria. Butter and jam were behind the toaster. The scrambled eggs were edible but the sausage was not cooked. No refrigerator in the room, TV remote was old and well used Sofa desperately needed to be replaced or at least have new springs

This property appears to be a remodeled older hotel. While clean and nicely appointed in its entry, the bathroom especially in our room was quite small and tight. Also, this location is quite difficult to spot upon arrival. It sits way at the back of the property it is on, behind several other buildings. That in itself is OK, but the signage directing to the hotel was not prominent and easy to miss since it was low to the ground and not of the typical BW logo seen across the country. The traffic pattern of the roads at the hotel are awkward to say the least. -- Quiet and reasonably comfortable however.

The suite was nice and the beds comfortable. However, the room smelled of smoke. I am sensitive to the smell of cigarettes. The rest of my family did not notice. The suite was roomy and having the separate room for watching TV or changing was nice. For some reason I thought we would have a pull out couch, but it is just a love seat- so too small for sleeping.

The rooms were a bit drab and in need of an update, but they were clean. The bathroom needed a better cleaning of the tub tiles and ceiling, but otherwise was OK. Thankfully the beds were comfortable and we had no trouble sleeping once we turned off the noisy air conditioner. The staff was very nice here and the location was convenient to downtown Raleigh at a more affordable price. The breakfast was good with something for everyone however they ran out of normal breakfast tea on Day 2 and my only choices were Earl Grey, Decaf, and some lemon flavored tea....whatever happened to good ole Lipton or Tetley? I was very surprised that the door to the breakfast room was closed promptly at 10am even though it was very crowded at the time....good thing I grabbed something for my daughter just in case.

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in the king suite. The room is adequate in size with a full refrigerator, sink, dishwasher and seating area. The room was clean and a comfortable bed. This is excellent hotel for families needing a little extra room for children but also good for business travelers. The breakfast is ok, eggs could be better, as I believe they use the prepackaged eggs and just reheat, but overall it's good.

Nice and comfortable. My room was not ready or available at first during check out. There were no pots, pans or utensils available in the suite. The power went for over 6 hours. Nice place but bad luck i guess.

Never experienced a hotel where the elevator lets you off with your luggage cart and the hallways to the left and/or right are either several steps up or down. Had to call assistance on checking in and checking out. Also, no luggage racks in room so had to leave luggage on top of a table or counter--quite ridiculous.

I have found Best Western hotels to be the best value for the money paid. I belong to Best Western Rewards and get my share of free rooms. I have tried other hotels but come back to Best Western as they have a consistent quality level.

The staff was friendly and most helpful. The lady that kept the room clean did a great job. The staff in the breakfast area did an excellent job also. Front desk folks were friendly and most helpful. This was our second stay at this particular Best Western. I would stay here a third time if the need arose.

Stayed here to be close to the airport for early morning flight - convenient, clean, nice rooms, left car in parking lot while we were on trip - very helpful and kind staff. will stay there again next time we fly out. Great deal for the money.

Room was very dirty and sheets were not clean, and found a roach in room. Do Not stay Here! Told the front desk on call duty manger he could care less, but did give a refund. I believe the manger of the hotel knows its dirty and cutting corners to save a few bucks. But it has a negative outcome on the guest.

Spent a week here in a kitchenette suite during December while on business. There were some pros and cons. Pros - pleasant and accommodating staff. Nice workout room. Nice breakfast area. Comfortable bed. Room was clean given its age. Cons - Furniture and appliances are dated and need replacing (note - not dirty - just old). Room was on the small side for a kitchenette suite - OK for one but had my wife/daughter been there it would have been cramped. Some rooms are right up against the interstate (this doesn't bother me personally but for others it might). Lighting in the room was bad. That might sound like nit-picking, but after a week the room just seemed really dim. Easy fix there. Overall a good stay. Best Western has built a pretty good rep for being in the 'high end' of the middle tier of hotels and this place was just a bit under the expectation. Again, not a bad stay, just needs some updates!

The Best Western is located in a busy, high traffic area. The good news is there are a lot of restaurants around. The bad news is, the hotel is located down a small hill and it is easy to miss. We recommend turning in by the Jasmine Restaurant and following the round about. The other issue with traffic, is sometimes you need to make U turns to get into the hotel, so it is critical to be in the correct lane. We had a king room, which was spacious. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, different hot food every day. Yes, the hotel is actually a split level, so with luggage it is essential to use the elevator. Only one luggage cart.

We were happy to see all the modern upgrades but were disappointed with the bathroom. The bathroom had been renovated except for the bathtub. With all these great improvements we don't understand why the owners took shortcuts in this area. The room was large and bed comfortable. Nice exercise room and business work area. The location is excellent. Close to I-40, shopping and restaurants.

I had my Bachelor party at your hotel, all my friends came down to help me celebrate. Yasir at the front desk made sure that all our rooms were together. He printed out directions to all the good clubs and bars that were worth going to. He definitely made our stay worth it. Breakfast in the morning hit the spot after going out the night before. Just a great place!

Stayed for 7 nights. Staff was very nice and helpful. Warning.... there are a lot of stairs. Every level is broken up. Even if you take the elevator, there are still stairs. Housekeeping missed us once. Beds were comfortable. Pillows were small. Bought some for the stay. Bathroom sink/counters are nice and new. Tub is old. No microwave or fridge. Smells old despite more modern face-lift. A couple of restaurants nearby. Good freeway access. Breakfast was horrible. Probably won't stay there again. It was inexpensive.

Toilets back up when flushed, water rises first to the rim then flushes slowly. There is a funky stale old cigarette reek that permeates the room. The staff is friendly enough, morning staff especially so. The breakfast is weak and lacking. I paid more than the room was worth for sure. It is close to the PNC Arena, hence the PLUS in the name and the reason we stayed there. There is a Marriott located behind the BW - next time. Would not stay here again.

Great clean rooms and a jacuzzi tub!!! The hotel is a bit of a maze but easy enough to find your room. Located in Cary NC about 5 min from Dave&Busters and in a very nice part of the town.

When we travel to North Carolina to visit family we always choose the Best Western in Cary. The extended stay rooms give us more living space than other hotels and we are located close to Raleigh and other areas in the Research Triangle. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff very helpful and friendly.

This was a great, convenient hotel, located right off of the interstate, within minutes of the PNC Arena which was the reason for our stay. The room was extremely clean, and it had been recently updated. This would be a great place to stay for an extended period of time due to the fact that the room had a mid sized refrigerator, dishwasher and stove burners with a small sink. Not sure about the quality of the breakfast, due to the amount of people staying that night, we decided to find another place to eat. Great staff at the front desk, we will be staying here again!

The hotel is near two major shopping centers within 1 mile. AAA only gave 2 diamond rating. I feel like staying at a 3 diamond rated property. I stayed at room 210 and it was renovated. The buffet breakfast improved a lot since I stayed there a few months back. Everybody from front desk clerk, breakfast attendant and housekeeping all had a happy smile and made me feel welcome as a very important guest. Although the hotel is near a highway, but it was a quiet night sleep.

Liked the king bed and the love seat. Didn't expect the microwave & fridge - so nice surprise. Staffers seemed very helpful - even when I had a wait a bit for the room to be readied. The staff had just had a huge guest departure and arrival - but they were still smiling and helpful.

This place was terrible. We arrived to a domestic violence situation in the lobby. This should have been a sign. 2 rooms later we decided to eat the cost of the night and change hotels (they refused to refund us even though we only left our bags in the room while at a wake). The second rooms carpet was literally squishy from the water under the carpet and we were on the second floor. The first room was in the non smoking suite building. Obviously, it had been smoked in for a long time. Bathroom had mold. Room was filthy. I will never stay at a best western again (I thought the plus would make it ok - soooo nooooo).

After working all night arrived at the hotel expecting a nice full breakfast as advertised on hotel site. Hours for breakfast are 6am to 9am. Saw gravy for bisquits and gravy and asked if more bisquits were coming out. Was told no but other food would be out in 10 minutes when cooked. There should be food available for people till 9am. If thats the case put a sign up saying no more food made after a certain time.

When we got there the staff was nice. When we got ready to use the business center the computers would not work so the staff was very helpful and gave me an email to send the papers I needed to print to them downstairs so they could print it out for me. I appreciated it. When I first got to the room I noticed a plunger by the door. When I went in everything was clean and the bathroom was also and we used it and everything was fine. Later on that night we used the bathroom and it would not flush and almost ran over so I called the front desk. They sent someone to plunge the toilet and didn't offer to move us to another room or anything and he said I will leave the plunger here for you and if you have any further trouble let us know. So when we got up in the morning and used the bathroom it overflowed and would not flush. Also the housekeeping people kept knocking on the door checkout was not until 12 so don't know why they kept knocking on the door. So we left and when I told the lady at the front desk that the toilet overflowed she went back and told the manager on duty and she told her sorry she paid with Priceline nothing we can do. Didn't even come out and apologize or offer any type of compensation a free night stay or percentage off another stay nothing. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone if the manager on duty does not even care about the guest that have been inconvenience. The staff was very nice and willing to help but that put a lasting impression on me as far as not wanting to stay at a Best Western again.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. My bed was so comfortable and I slept great! There was plenty of hot water for showers and having a mini fridge and microwave in the room made meals a snap with a vegetarian in the family. I can't say enough how convenient the location was and it made this a great meet for us.

For a moderately priced motel, the facilities, and staff are excellent. We are in Raleigh every other month and this is were we will stay during each visit. The facility is close to the places we visit while in the Raleigh area, the cost is reasonable and the staff have always been top notch.

We were looking for different hotels in the area to stay and we came across yours. It's in a perfect location next to everything. Shopping, food and things for the kids to do. Yasir at the front desk help us out with anything we needed. He found us restaurants and a great museum for the kids. It was a terrific stay. Thank you!

Yasir was quite a gentleman. He helped my wife bring her bags in and we were checked in very quickly. Just very nice. Nthe rooms were very nice. Beds were comfortable, which is saying a lot because my wife is usually never comfortable. Breakfast was great. I will definitely stay here again.

Everything was great and professional. The front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area, the cleaning staff had everything sparkling and smelling great. Everything was in working order and clean. The wifi was fast. Great place to stay!

The property is relatively old but it appears that the rooms have recently been renovated (the suite that I stayed in had fresh paint, carpet, TV's). Bed linens also appeared new and were very clean. The front desk staff was very congenial and helpful. My only complaint was that one of the TVs in my suite didn't work. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would return, primarily because of the value.

On of the best hotel experiences in over 16 years of traveling for out of town/out of state swim meets! Very clean and comfortable room with full kitchen, and sitting area with TV, separated by a closed door from bedroom and bathroom. Larger than normal refrigerator, micro, toaster, coffee maker, plates, cups, glasses, utensils. A very nice bathroom, climate controlled heat/air via thermostat, extremely comfortable beds, pillows, and linens. Quietest room, EVER! Parking beneath building, well lit and secure entry, walk to hotel breakfast or restaurants, and very nice staff! Quality breakfast included, if desired. BEST DEAL for traveling to a sporting event with athletes, and/kids!

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. My room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. I love the location with two restaurants located in front of the hotel. The asian restaurant was excellent!

Will stay here again. Staff is nice. Place Is very clean. I asked for extra pillows and got them quickly. Love the location. Everyone was friendly and that makes a big difference. Also at check in and check out, it was very fast and easy even though it was busy.

It's rare to come across such dedicated and friendly customer service. The staff here works really well together and made me feel at home. Veronica has always helped me with my reservations and any issues I may come across which is rare. The room was clean and cozy and the breakfast is alway good and hot, I shall return!

We stay here almost every time we visit the triangle area .This is about 3-4 times a year. We are coming back to stay Valentines weekend again. Staff very nice. Great business center.The computers both work well. Extended stay building in the back very peaceful

We found a really good deal online for a two night stay. They had a king suite with a 2 person jacuzzi tub. It was my bviyfriend's birthday and he was very excifted about the jacuzzi. Unfoirtunately, the room we checked into jacuzzi tub was broken. Yasir, who was working at the desk was very diligent and helped us right away. He moved is to a new suite and comp'd our room for the night. The customer service alone made this hotel worth the stay!

Stayed here on New Years Eve because the price was cheaper than other nearby hotels and it was right off the highway. Booked a suite and was very surprised by how nice the room was for the price we paid. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I would definitly stay here again
