Description
A few steps from the center of Carpentras, a historical city, built at the end of the 18th century, has recently been entirely renovated. You will enjoy the Provencal style of the hotel, breakfast is served on the patios. Ideal for a business journey or for a seminar, the Best Western Le Comtadin offers as well above, an exceptional location for a charming stay in the heart of Carpentras. We offer 18 rooms with air-conditioning, satellite television, mini-bar, safe deposit box, free wireless Internet access and private car park. Enjoy your stay.
Excellent. Rooms and all common places very tidy. Very complete breakfast, with very helpful attendant. Very good attention from the personnel, in all aspects: information, help with the room facilities, bar, etc. Ideally situated, just in front of the city centre.
"Superb"

From arrival to departure the staff were superb Informative, helpful and interested in us a guests and why we were in the area Bedroom was very nice, good hairdryer and space to move around. It was however, a little noisy due to it being at the front of the hotel on busy road Easy 5 minute walk in to centre where there are a number of restaurants/places to get a drink Car Parking at rear of hotel (one 1 way system) and you must check in first in order to get "key fob" to access the parking Will stay again if in the area
"Great hotel"
Philm13, 08 Août 2022
The previous reviews aren't wrong! Our room was great - bigger than we expect in France - and very comfortable. The wonderful woman on reception was brilliant and helped us book a table in the only restaurant open on a Sunday night in Carpentras (it was a great meal, by the way!) The garage is secure and is, it must be said, a couple of minutes' walk away. But there is a little driveway at the front of the hotel so you can load/unload with ease. I was just glad to have secure parking! Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and a calm atmosphere. All in all, a good choice if you're stayingg in Carpentras!
"Great location and great service"
maylemme, 18 Juillet 2022
We stayed 2 nights here in July. The hotel is in a great location. 2 minutes walk to the commercial shops, grocery, and nice restaurants. It's on a street with shady trees that brings the romantic French feeling. The owner Frederic is very knowledgeable and efficient. Our car was towed due to the damage caused by thief. He helped us to communicate with the road assistance and rental company, and found us the replacement car the same day on Sunday which is normally not possible. We really appreciate his kindness, patience and thoughtfulness. We will definitely come back if we are in the region again. Thank you Frederic.
"Very pleasant stay"
amiboehme, 31 Juillet 2021
Very nice hotel next to the pedestrian area of town, but absolutely quiet, and with a secured parking garage. Breakfast buffet was good, all covid measures of security were strictly adhered to. Size of the room was small, but that is normal in this area. Last not least, the couple, who run the hotel were very helpful and pleasant, and their informative emails before arrival about our stay were very helpful.
"Everything you need"
Craig S, 27 Juillet 2018
Stayed here on business. Very nice clean hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Had 2 rooms during my 3 nights as they didn't have one room available for the entire stay and both rooms were good even if the first one was smaller. Hotel has a bar and serves breakfast but no dinner facilities. Nice terrace seating area upstairs which was lovely to sit and have a drink in the evening. Good base for exploring the area.
"Not great"
str280577, 07 Septembre 2017
Stayed here on business. The hotel itself has no restaurant so you have to go out. The area is ok but I wouldn't recommend walking around too much as it feels a bit uneasy. There's enough restaurants around to eat what you want. The room was tiny with noisy air conditioning. The bed was quite hard and it needed decorating. Very tired. No lift so you have to Cary your cases upstairs.
"Nice surprise"

Great stopover while touring Provence. Reasonably priced and super nice staff. Room was large and clean. Felt like a spa after several nights at 2 stars on the road. We weren't in love with the town but this is a great base to explore the surrounding areas
"Good hotel located close to the city centre with private parking."
Peter A, 29 Mai 2017
We stayed three nights in May 2017. The hotel is a Best Western associate, and is everything that implies: clean, with all required facilities in the room. Breakfast is available in the hotel, and it has a bar, but no evening dining facility - there are plenty of good restaurants not far away in the centre of the city. Parking is in a private garage at the rear of the hotel - the only disadvantage is that there is no indoor access from the hotel to the garage, it is necessary to walk around the block. However, this is a small price to pay for parking so close to the edge of the old city.
"Great location and hotel for cyclists"
Baggie210, 26 Juin 2016
We where a group of 7 cyclists spends three days cycling ventoux and surrounding area. The hotel is fully get set up for cyclists with a secure lock up room for bikes and a great breakfast and relaxing post ride bar! The staff are extremely efficient, friendly and helpful, to the point of recommending and booking great resturants, sorting out the large tv screen for us to watch the euros, and even moving our support vans to more secure parking locations. Would recommend

Stayed for five nights while cycling Mt Ventoux. Great location with secure bike storage and secure parking garage. Easy in and out of town. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is clean and well maintained and the buffet breakfast is great.....all you need before ascending Mt Ventoux.
"Recommend - clean w/attentive service"
Eiffel4, 01 Avril 2016
PROS: -Outstanding service: pleasant, patient, excellent recommendations for dinner, places to see in town and setting up taxi service -Clean: towels and bedding were changed daily, bathroom was new and shiny -Breakfast buffet was fresh and well-stocked -Owners were charming and welcoming -Patio was nice, quiet and private CONS: -A few more outlets and better lighting in the rooms would have been great -Wi-fi was spotty - would often have to re-login multiple times during a session
"Clean, with warm character and responsive/attentive service!"

Short walking distance to the old center city with many restaurants to choose from. Jean-Baptise took care of us as if we were guests in his home. Fine breakfast (our room was on the quiet backside of the hotel and we woke up early to the smell of cooking bacon)! Just great...
"Best Western Comtadin highly recommended"
Pino L, 06 Octobre 2015
We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Comtadin. The hotel staff were friendly, spoke English and were available at all times. Our room was clean and bright overlooking a spacious patio! The breakfast had lots of variety and was the service was excellent as well. I highly recommned this hotel.
"Great for cyclists"
Andy M, 13 Septembre 2015
We were a group of 13 cyclists and needed 7 rooms with single beds and secure bike storage. Jean Baptiste could not have been more helpful. He was there to greet us when we arrived and ensured we had everything we needed and he booked us into an excellent restaurant for dinner that evening. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. We were well set up for our assault of Mont Ventoux the next day.
"Mont Ventoux Bicycle Ride"
Thomas M, 09 Septembre 2015
Excellent location to start your bicycle ride to the Mont Ventoux. After 20 km of warming up your are ready for the climb. The hotel has a very good service, a closed room for your bicycle, and gives you many hints.
"Excellent bike friendly hotel"
Chive83a, 24 Juin 2015
An excellent location for a trip to Mont Ventoux. Nothing was too much trouble for Jean Bapiste and his staff and all the hungry cyclists were well fed on Saturday morning. Gave us lots of useful information about the town and only 2 minutes walk from the centre.
"Nice place to stay"
882David, 14 Juin 2015
Stayed here with a couple of friends for two nights. Made to feel very welcome by the staff all of whom were very helpful with practical suggestions, (where to eat, what to see, etc). Also had space to store bikes which was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it has three stars but deserves more !.
"Decent hotel, well located. Breakfast a bit expensive, beware of parking"
MatthewVernon, 08 Juin 2015
My room at Le Comtadin was decently-sized, and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower was decent, and the air-conditioning worked. Also, the free wifi worked. The hotel is comfortable walking distance from the railway station, the town center, and a car hire place. There is free on-street parking, if you can find it, but I found it pretty difficult to actually find an empty parking space. Otherwise, there are 5 spaces in a private garage, and that's 10 euro a day. Breakfast was a sensible buffet arrangement, though 13 euros a day felt a bit steep to me.
"Central and nice place, with compact rooms"
Gerhard T, 05 Avril 2015
The Best Western in Carpentras is very central located. It lies on the circular road around the city center. The nice old town of C. can easily be explored. It offers a very good break-fast. The only minus are the small rooms.. The service, the breakfast are great, staff is friendly...
"ideal"
cribmaker, 29 Mars 2015
We wanted just an overnight stop before calling in on Carpentras' sizeable Friday market (look out for the stall selling Nyons organic olives!) and starting the long trek back to the UK. The hotel perfectly situated with free on-street parking nearby (although you'll probably have to arrive after work has finished to claim a space) as well as pay-for hotel parking. Being on the inner ring road, the place is pretty easy to find for a town centre hotel. Hotel spotless. Comfortable bed. Room not huge, but bigger than many and well furnished in modern style. Quiet. Super helpful reception offered practical advice- even watched for a parking space to appear before parking my car for me while I enjoyed the tea making facilities (frustratingly absent from so many French hotels) in my room. My only gripe was not with the hotel but the town- completely dead on a Thursday evening in late March. Very very few restaurants open, empty of customers, almost no-one around. We were told the "cold weather" (13 degrees daytime) was keeping people at home. We've previously visited the town and don't remember it as dull as this. We would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again. Thanks again for a good stay
"Best Western Carpentras"
Stephen W, 02 Octobre 2014
We stayed here in order to be close to Mont Ventoux which is somewhere that I have wanted to visit for a long time. The hotel was good with a better than average breakfast and friendly service and perfect location. While there is no lift there are not a lot of stairs. Room large and comfortable and pretty quiet even though overlooking the main road. Only problems were (1) virtually no restaurants appear to be open in Carpentras on a Monday night and (2) parking can be extremely difficult - on a Tuesday afternoon at around 15:00 it took me 45 mins to find a place and several circuits of the town. In the end I parked over 1.5km away and walked.
