"Great location"
yuervtttt, 07 Octobre 2018

Excellent small hotel 5 mins walk to beach 2 mins to main shopping street....many nice restaurants close by...also parking facility...Breakfast perfect with some of the best jam I've tasted...in fact I purchased the the 3 flavours they had available. Staff very helpfull

"Very good value hotel and close to center of Cannes "
RichandMaci, 20 Septembre 2018

The hotel is very nice, staff are friendly and warming and make every effort to accommodate you. The parking is extra at 18 euros per night and extremely tight would be difficult in a big car. There is no room service but a restaurant on the ground floor, room is large enough and clean. Minibar has a few drinks in it but no prices on bar which would be useful. This is a good stop over hotel to see the town and I would recommend and return.

"Nice hotel "
LeFrequentTraveller, 27 Août 2018

Booked a suite here for our 1 night stop in Cannes, room was nice. Negative - Found it strange toilet was in area where girls sofa bed was, whereas there was no toilet in bathroom (although it was huge with his /her sinks a bath and separate shower.) Decent enough location couple of blocks behind the famous Calton hotel. No pool, but nice roof terrace with hot tub. Breakfast was nice, and friendly staff.

"Good quality centrally located hotel"
Donald A, 24 Août 2018

We arrived by train and the hotel is within reasonable walking distance ( probably less than the length of the train). At most a ten minute walk. A few streets back from the Croisette it benefits from the quieter location. The hotel is clean and tidy and the room we had was indeed most spacious. The showerroom is a wet room so be prepared for a wet floor after a shower. The wet never reaches the toilet though so no need to worry about that. The rooftop terrace has sufficient sunbeds which are comfortable with views to the Carlton hotel and the bay beyond. A jucuzzi and shower assist in the cooling process with the disadvantage of a small jacuzzi being used by a number of people greater than its capacity. Breakfast is good and staff friendly. The immediate area has a number of good restaurants. Eating out is expensive but not quite as expensive as Paris. This hotel does exactly what it says on the tin.

"Excellent choice - but not glamorous"
helg58, 21 Août 2018

Very good location, very clean, quiet street, excellent breakfast choice, very spacious parking spaces in garage, no danger of getting dent on your car there. Quite easy to reach beach area in about 5-10 minutes

"Simple "
WanderingOzzy, 21 Août 2018

Friendly service. Clean, modern rooms. Shower area was a little weird and small though. Good location in a quiet back street, short walking distance to local boutiques and the beach strip. Car park is a little tight too! Simple place to stay at.

"Trip with friends for my 40th"
Vicci8, 25 Juillet 2018

Just returned from a 4 night stay here. Location is good and fairly close to everything you need and want. 10 mom walk to the beach and literally round the corner from the shops but far enough to be peaceful. We had a family room which had a double bed and a sofa bed converted into a double and this was ok. Our room had a terrace which was nice to sit out on and the room was cleaned daily. Downside was the bathroom and the shower just caused a massive flood every time it was used as just no door to stop water (a very bad design) this then made the bathroom very dangerous. Also our coffee and free facilities were not replaced each day which should have been as we paid the same price each night. The lift was also a problem and my friend was stuck in there for nearly half an hour as hadn't been told she would need her room key to use and couldn't get out despite ringing the alarm numerous times! The roof terrace was lovely and loved the hot tub at night watching the sun set!

"Excellent value"
Imad M, 16 Juillet 2018

Rooms are spacious clean fully equipped and the location is good just in front of rue Antibes and about 5-7 min walk to La Croisette , the service also is very good very friendly staff ‘I recommend this hotel

"Great hotel"
René L, 09 Juillet 2018

When we changed plans and opted for Cannes, we didn't expect to find a hotel this good for this price. Room and bathroom are perfect state. Location is just a short walk from the boulevard. In short a great hotel for and at a great price. Recommended!

"Short stay on business"
4Peas_11, 01 Juillet 2018

Had a nice 2 night stay at this hotel. Room was very spacious, with amenities including tea/coffee making, air conditioning, nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, lovely salmon. All the staff were friendly and professional. Great hotel, and would recommend.

"Amazing location, nice big hotel. Clean rooms. Nice street view"
San G, 15 Juin 2018

Stayed here for around 5 nights. Hotel rooms are better than what the outside looks like, the reception area looks small, but rooms are lovely. We had 3 to a room, and it was comfortable...Nie location by the shops and beach...

"Lovely hotel in amazing location :)"
Amy L, 02 Mai 2018

My boyfriend booked this holiday to Cannes for my birthday and chose this hotel which was a great choice! We got the train from Nice airport to Cannes and was able to walk to the hotel easily as it wasn't far at all. Upon arrival, the hotel reception is lovely and bright and the staff speak perfect English which made everything much easier. Our room was on the 4th floor and the room was a good size, very clean and nicely decorated! My boyfriend had pre-ordered champagne to the room which was waiting in an ice bucket with glasses :) We went up to the rooftop terrace where the view is absolutely gorgeous! It's a good size up there with plenty of beds and of course the hot tub - what a great addition! On our last day we discovered that you could order drinks to the roof which we did and as they didn't have the beer we ordered in stock, two staff members brought up bottles of the two brands they did have and let us choose, amazing service! The hotel's location is next door to the highest rated restaurant on TripAdvisor right now L'eponyme which was lovely! Just a short walk (4-5mins) to the beach, restaurants and designer shops in La Croisette but a similarly short walk to Rue Hoche where there's lots of lovely restaurants with seating outside in a little pedestrianised crossroad, absolutely gorgeous! The next road over is Rue d'Antibes with all of the high street style shops conveniently! My boyfriend and I never had any trouble finding our way around from the hotel due to the great location and enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked an extra night! We will 100% be booking Cannes again next year and will definitely be staying here again as it was perfect!

"Location and Price"
Dan K, 15 Janvier 2018

The location is not near the seafront but it is an easy 10 minute walk and 15-20 minutes to the Palais Convention Center. There are many small restaurants ( as in less expensive) nearby and you are a block off of the main shopping street. There is a small inside courtyard and a larger spa and rooftop area. they have parking (not cheap) and a very good breakfast for 20 Euros. But the rooms and baths are tiny. The bed was big and somewhat comfortable but we had three suitcases and they had to be on the floor underfoot the whole stay. We had a huge balcony ( I think it actually was larger than the room) The price was high for the room but in Cannes everything is very expensive..

"Holiday"
Graham J, 02 Octobre 2017

We visited for a week on a Secret Escapes deal, and turned out to be excellent value. The hotel is of a high standard, and I would recommend the rooms over looking the patio garden area. The buffet breakfast was excellent, plenty of variation to choose from. In a light and airy dining room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is one street behind the main shopping street Rue Antibe, so in an excelelnt position and only 5 minutes walk to the Croisette. In fact you look out from the back bedrooms at The Ritz Carlton. There is also a roof terrace where you can sunbathe or use the jacuzzi, very pleasantly set out. You can see the sea from here.

"Very Nice Stay"
bhquiltz, 29 Septembre 2017

Our rooms were very clean and bathroom had great lighting, spacious but the shower not so great as it didn't have a full size door to keep the water INSIDE the shower stall so if you're not careful you will have water all over the place. Comfy bed, adequate storage. overall a great room. The breakfast buffet was not expansive but it was plentiful, nice variety of hot and cold items and was yummy. It was a considerable walk to most attractions and shopping for the common folks. Tons of high end shopping along the main boulevard. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

"Good location but tiny rooms"
mishan264, 24 Septembre 2017

The location of this hotel is quite central but the rooms are quite tiny. Hard to open a larger luggage piece all the way and still move around it. The balcony was quite large though not much of a view. It was clean and good enough for a one night stay. It was an it weird that you had to scan your room key to use the elevator and the fact that there were cameras everywhere. Made me wonder whether there was a lot of theft or possible crime. There is a parking lot pretty much next door if you have a car so that was convenient. I would recommend this hotel for those either on a budget or just passing through Cannes.

"Perfect"
geodonkey, 22 Septembre 2017

The location is very good, the hotel is very nice and the staff is nice too and very efficient. It is not one of those hotels with a large number of staff where you can order anything around the clock but, at least during the day, you just ask what you want and there will be someone there to serve you. Very nice and not expensive for Cannes.

"Great location "
Stacey242013, 12 Septembre 2017

Stayed here for two nights and here are my comments: Pros: - great location - nice decor - good facilities - friendly staff Cons: - confusing coffee machine! - noisy neighbours (not sure hotel staff could have done much but even so it ruined 1 out of my 2 nights sleep) Overall would recommend as a good base when holidaying in Cannes.

"A good surprise"
556conte68, 10 Septembre 2017

This hotel is located 5 min walking far from the Croisette walking road. The family room was more than perfect looking at our needs. People there are so kindly and friendly ready to support all your needs. The Breakfast was perfect and we could tested different kind of food. For people like me who would like to take some relaxing time, there is a Jacuzzi on the roof ready for you. In a sunny day is more than perfect!!!

"Excellent location and service"
lalderson29, 10 Août 2017

Just spent 6 nights in this hotel. Location is first class, near the sea front and near an amazing street for shopping. The staff at the hotel were first class, so very accommodating, and nothing was a trouble. There's a lovely sun terrace on the top floor with comfortable sun beds and lots of soft towels. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent.

"Confortable in a central location"
filipealexandre, 02 Août 2017

Very well located, public car parking very near, good sleep quality, average breakfast. Didn't allow a late check out even though we had two rooms and only needed one until after lunch. Very nice and resting small interior garden. The jacuzzi on the terrace is not worth it.

"20 year wedding anniversary "
purestelly, 30 Juillet 2017

This is the 2nd time as a couple at this hotel and yet again it did not disappoint, when we checked in we kindly got a free upgrade to a suite, what a fabulous start. The rooms where lovely and extremely clean and well equipped. The staff were ever so friendly and I can't fault them in any area at all . The hotel is so central to all amenities and Cannes is my happy place so having such a fab hotel made our Trip extra special. The rooftop area is beautiful and spanking clean with stunning views, the hot tub and comfy day beds were used a lot by me!! The breakfast was lovely and had a great choice. Would i go back ? Absolutely!!!!! Loved it and I give it 5 stars plus!! You will love this hotel We did.

"Good location, no frills."
zeppo33, 22 Juin 2017

The good news is we got a room in Cannes. The bad news? Our room smelled faintly of horse stable. Parking? Extra. Breakfast? Extra. The shower? Decent pressure but small. A/C? Worked! Late checkout? Not possible. I'm sure the staff experiences an incredible flow of entitled jerks coming through town for the festival. The staff is pleasant but it is too bad the customer service isn't a priority. Management should consider late checkout. An adequate property in a good location. That's about it.

"Great modern hotel with a business vibe and comfortable rooms"
writeguy27, 31 Mai 2017

I have sworn off Best Western properties after one too many negative experiences. We only booked this hotel because we need a night during the film festival and they were the only upper end property with an available room. They really exceeded by low expectations. The rooms look exactly as in the photos. Modern and a bit sterile, but also slightly upscale décor. We had a 2-room suite which was very spacious. The main bed and 2 single pull-out beds were all ridiculously comfy with nice high-end sheets and pillows. The bathroom was also fairly large for France and had a great rainfall shower. To us everything seemed recently remodeled. The rooms each had a TV and there was a coffee pod machine, plus slippers and bath robes. Both rooms had spacious closets and space to get you luggage out of the way which almost never happens in France. It was very quiet at night and the Wi-Fi worked well. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had been antique shopping and bought a bunch of breakable things which they happily stored in the manager's office for us while we waited for the room to be ready. Also, since our room was not ready, they took our cell number and phoned when it was available so we didn't have to keep checking back. My only complaint is the tiny parking garage where it was almost impossible to maneuver our 4-door rental car in or out of the compact spaces. Next time I would skip their garage and park in one of the public garages with a bit more space. A garage is located about a block away. We prefer the Port Pierre Canto garage for it's ease and it is about a 15 min walk away. It was very easy to get to and from the hotel by driving though, although the one lane street did not leave a ton of space for dropping off luggage.

"Lovely hotel"
terry448, 15 Mai 2017

People very helpful at this hotel. It's very handy for all the bars, shops and Resturants. We are travelling along the coast by train and bus and this is definitely the best we have stopped in. We were upgraded to a suite as hotel full due to large groups. It was excellent high standard of cleaning, good beds and high quality linen and towels. Breakfast good quality although we only had express. Would definitely return.

"Great spot"
mstaunt0n, 19 Avril 2017

I stayed here for a week in April. Nice breakfast. Bar at night heinekan and lovely wine red or rose. Rooms are great spanking new with iron coffee pod machine. Mozzies feasted on me. Place has a roof garden with a hot tub and sun beds. In a good place in town very handy to get to trains or bus.

"Nice hotel but very hard beds"
David E, 16 Avril 2017

The hotel was really nice with a nice jacuzzi on the roof (and a tiny garden). Rooms, at least the suit, was also nice with a nice balcony... Location was optimal, close to the city but still in a more calmer area. Parking available in a nearby garage. Only fault was terribly hard / stiff beds...

"Reception dude"
Harry F, 31 Janvier 2017

It is a very nice hotel, situated in a very good location in Cannes. The room is lovely and very well organized. We arrived late due to a car issue -we informed them of course-and our room cards and everything we're waiting. The aged receptionist that had the night shift was extraordinary. He insisted on carrying our bags, on telling us everything about the city the hotel etc. and all that with a smile. If u read this my friend thank you.

"Not bad at all!"
wolffman1973, 19 Octobre 2016

In most places in Cannes it is awful to stay. Unfriendly, too warm or too cold, but not this place. It is one of the most decent places I've slept here and I have seen a few. Service is friendly, rooms are very clean, breakfast is good and prices reasonable. Good choice!

"Comfortable with great location "
mbkris, 02 Octobre 2016

I really enjoyed the location of this hotel, upon arrival we had our bags stored. Then we were off to find the beach which was only a short 15 minute walk. We got a really great deal on the price by paying in advance. I didn't have the breakfast but my husband did go to the grocery store Casino which we found when looked out from the rooftop. He brought back some fresh fruits and pastries and we enjoyed them on the rooftop for several morning breakfasts. Our room was the basic room when was fine, it fit all our needs. My only complaints about the room is how they fit the bed with tight fitting flat sheets. Also I don't understand why most hotels in Europe don't provide with washcloths. They provide a beautiful shower gel but no washcloths. On my past trips to Europe I would bring a sponge for the shower this time it was forgotten. I did ask the front desk about washcloths but I couldn't explain very well English. Overall I enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay here again it the opportunity came up. All of the staff was very helpful when it came to any questions I had. They where always very nice greeting us every morning and evening.

"A really good ????Hotel in Cannes."
HappyTravellers222, 26 Septembre 2016

We arrived at our ???? hotel after a very long arduous drive from Verona, I had lost some power in my car and needed main Jaguar car dealership assistance. Thank god for Sonia on the hotel reception who acted as interpreter for the driver of the low loader that took my Car away - she was really great doing this and also throughout our stay, always smiling and always cheerful - a big thank you to her. Having good friendly helpful staff at a hotel makes all the difference. Our suite was the same one as last year by choice and was great and of a good size with two bathrooms, shower and jacuzzi bath, good air con, safe - fridge etc. - it has massive windows that fully open. The one down side however - the carpet is in need of a clean and for what we were paying this should have been done as a matter of course - don't get me wrong it wasn't filthy or anything but deffinately needed a spring clean - god only knows what some guests get up to in hotels. The rest of the suite was truly lovely although I should point out that the built in ironing station was damaged and the iron was really dangerous with exposed wire coming from the cable - I was going to report this to reception but I never got that far as one of the housekeepers quickly noticed our problem and brought us a different iron and free standing ironing board - well done to her. The quality of the beds ( including sofa bed ) and pillows was really excellent - assuring a good nights sleep. The hotel is quiet at the back overlooking the garden patio area - it may be a bit noisier at the front but I seriously doubt this as the hotel is in a quiet location but just a couple of minutes off the main shopping street - which is fantastic. One thing about hotels, and the Le Patio is no different - why is it that when you very first walk into your room/ suite the place is immaculate or should be - but from day two the room is not always vacuumed or dusted properly - don't get me wrong, our suite wasn't a mess or anything as we kept it very tidy but at the price you are paying for a suite - full housekeeping should be done every day, the two bathrooms were done totally each day and were very clean indeed with lots of new towels etc and were really excellent, it was simply lack of dusting and vacuuming of the bedroom carpet that would have made all the difference, I say this as constructive criticism and hope that the owners and management take it as such - this is a lovely friendly well situated hotel and the housekeepers are really nice people who just require a little more training and monitoring. The secure underground garage is obviously chargeable and has a lift from the garage to reception and rooms which is great for dealing with luggage, one point to note - the garage is very tight to get into especially if you have a large car and it takes a lot of manoovering - and I mean a lot -PHEW!! - a stiff drink is needed after you have eventually parked and gone through the pretty scary experience, if you have a smaller car then there's no problem - the hotel to my mind could do with a valet parking service. Breakfast is very good, you can either opt for the express or full breakfast, we went for the cheaper express option and loved it and had more than enough to eat, the breakfast staff were excellent, worked hard and were very friendly and the breakfast room is great and kept to a very high standard with new table linen etc - a lovely way to start the day. Maps of Cannes, umbrellas etc are available from reception - they clearly want you to have a good stay at the Hotel and in Cannes - and you do. We needed serious help sorting out car issues, maps etc and Annis was truly fantastic, he printed out maps for our next destination, he's a great guy and a genuine attribute to the hotel. Natalie is great and a lot of fun but very professional. Clair the assistant hotel manager is quietly in the background seeing that all is well, she is really professional and approachable, making sure that all is well. The sun deck and SPA on the roof is a great feature allowing you to sunbathe and use the hot tub whilst enjoying a drink provided by Richard who is great fun, the views from the roof are wonderful - towels are provided. This is a wonderful private safe area - fantastic, we really loved it. The ground floor garden and seating area was I think looking just a bit tired against last year and could do with being freshened up a little - hopefully they will do this at the end of the season. One thing that the Hotel MUST look at is WiFi - obviously this is free but it throws you off line every time you stop using your iPhone or iPad, meaning that you have to go through the logging in process each time - it was the same last year, it is so frustrating that in 2016 this is happening, the hotel management must recognise that virtually everyone now uses the Internet, it not only needs to be fast, a reliable connection but have a lock for tighter security. Checkout was fast efficient and friendly - just as you would hope. All in all the Le Patio Des Artistes is a really nicely situated ???? hotel with good standards and good friendly people and suits people on vacations and business. Would we stay here again - 100% yes - we love it here and as I say the odd bits of constructive criticism are more than outweighed by the rest which is just great. A massive thank you to everyone for making the Cannes part of our holiday so very special once again and we hope to see you all soon. Sent from my iPad

"Great Overnight Stay"
h2tni, 23 Septembre 2016

We had a special rate to stay at this hotel for a night - otherwise we could not have afforded it. It's centrally located in Cannes, in walking distance to downtown, just a few blocks from the Croisette. Thanks to the reviews here, we immediately parked in the parking garage in the next house over, which is actually a little bit cheaper than the hotel itself. We arrived late, but found very friendly staff at the reception explaining us everything, and immediately bringing our welcoming drink (included in our package) to our room. Unfortunately it was too late for the Jacuzzi on the roof, but we went up there to have our drink. It was nice, seeing the city lights all around. Our room was great, in style, with a big bathroom and modern shower head. The room had a coffee machine with coffee and tea capsules, and a little fridge with fruit juice and water. We dared to drink the water and were not charged. We enjoyed the English TV channels, and the bed was really comfy. We had breakfast included, and were not disappointed. There was a big array of choices, from pancakes, to scrambled eggs (too runny), bacon and sausages, to fruits, croissants, ham, cheese, yogurt, three different fresh juices (orange, grapefruit). We did not regret staying and would stay there again, if we had another special deal. The only thing I regret is that we could not arrive earlier to enjoy our stay longer.

"Lovely hotel in great location"
Pugsons, 17 Septembre 2016

We visited end of Aug with both children. We stayed for 2 nights due to the weather being poor so moved to Monaco early. The hotel was lovely, the suite was really large with a big terrace and jacuzzi bath. The jacuzzi on the roof was a nice touch which we enjoyed. The hotel is quite expensive but then everywhere in that area is. We would stay again if we visited Cannes in the future.

"Great stay in Cannes!"
Slinky88, 02 Septembre 2016

Stayed here in August for 6 nights and really enjoyed our time here. It's in a great location, just off of Rue D'Antibes and a five minute walk to the beach. There is a few cafes and supermarkets a few streets away and restaurants round the corner. I would say about a ten minute walk from the train station. We had a standard room on the first floor and I was worried it might be noisy as overlooked the road but it was so quiet at night and the curtains are blackout so we slept like babies! The room is really big, clean and modern. We were given complimentary drinks in the mini bar and the wifi in the room was fast and reliable. The housekeeping staff were nice and friendly and cleaned the room each day. The best bit about this hotel has to be the roof terrace. The views are fantastic, we never had any trouble getting sunbeds, they provide free towels and the jacuzzi is a nice touch! There's a shower to cool you down if needed. We went up at night to watch the fireworks. My only negatives about this hotel are that there is no attended bar on the roof terrace. To get a drink you have to phone down and they go up and down the lift like a yo yo so it takes ages. Put me off and we went to the local supermarket and took drinks back instead. The reception staff weren't awfully friendly when going in and out, seemed a bit uninterested. Not a big deal but I think a hello wouldn't go a miss! Only other niggle is that in the room there's no welcome pack as such. Took us a few days to realise it's actually on the TV! It would be handy if they had a note telling you this! These are only tiny niggles and don't let it put you off! It's a lovely hotel and I would recommend and stay here again!

"Brilliant."
Cqz ., 31 Août 2016

Lovely friendly reception staff. Great room with free soft drinks in minibar. Breakfast faultless. Courtyard was a little scruffy, but rooftop sun area was lovely. We would return if we go to Cannes again.

"Fantastic comfortable hotel just off the main shopping street "
Bu-Nayef, 18 Août 2016

We stayed in this hotel for our 4 day break in Canned .... It is a Fantastic comfortable hotel just off the main shopping street (Rue de Antipes) which runs parallel to the Promenade des Anglais , the main beach front in Cannes... The location is perfect for accessing shopping and also the beach is a few hundred meters away ...

"Cannes"
114samin, 16 Août 2016

Hotel was good nice rooms, but there was a huge cocroach. And one night the electricity got cut off for a few hours. One night the alarm went off for half an hour. Rooms very nice, clean rooms great location better than many hotels in cannes.

"Love it"
Charlotte D, 12 Août 2016

Just love this hotel - great service, nice staff, great rooftop with spa and view. The hotel is placed perfectly in the center of Cannes - great breakfast as well ???? I am for sure coming back ????????

"An Exceptional Stay!"
hardcorewolf, 26 Juillet 2016

I couldn't find a bad thing to say about this hotel even if I tried. The hotel, and Cannes in general were the best part of my 3 week stay in France, which in the end I came to hate. Cannes is quite a small town so you're never far from anywhere; it was a mere 5 minutes stroll from the train station; much relieved after a terribly long, cramped 3 hour train from Marseille!! There are plenty of shops, bars and eateries around the town also within a 5 minute walk, not to mention the picturesque sea and beach within a stones throw. We were greeted in reception by a lovely, polite lady who made us feel most welcome and we were checked into out room in a matter of minutes as our keys were already prepared for our arrival. Our 3 rooms were all in close proximity on the 3rd floor. The hotel was immaculately decorated, predictably in line with movies and the festival that Cannes hosts yearly. The room was very spacious and clean, the room service during our stay returned it to its glories each morning. The shower was a delight and the bed was as comfortable as you could wish for, the sort you just don't want to get out of in a morning! We had a balcony overlooking the street to the front, given the 30 degree temperatures, the ability to have the windows wide open was most refreshing. The hotel didn't have breakfast included, no problem with the vast array of bakeries close by, but it did have a lovely rooftop area with sun-loungers and a whirlpool, after a morning stroll around Cannes taking in its wonderful surroundings, this was the perfect way to relax. Even better, it was also empty when we went up and the views from the top were nothing short of stunning in all directions. If I ever go back to Cannes, I won't consider staying elsewhere. Brilliant!

"Perfect for us "
Chris W, 22 Juillet 2016

4 lads. Staying for the euros. Can't be faulted. Suite. 2 rooms. Spacious. Clean. Balcony terrace. Nice breakfast in the morning. This ticked every box for us. Friendly helpful staff. Bar. Central to everywhere. If you're staying on a moderate budget save your money for food and drinks and stay here. Such good value for money. I would more than happily stay here again.

"Just what we wanted"
Harry V, 20 Juillet 2016

This was an excellent hotel at a very competitive price (by booking early) in a notoriously expensive resort. We were in town for a family wedding and stayed the week. The hotel has no restaurant but there is no shortage of places to eat in Cannes; there is a breakfast room with a two-tier offering. The express breakfast at 8.50euros was plenty for us. Reception staff were welcoming, pleasant and very helpful; they all had excellent English language skills. There is no pool but the roof (there is a jacuzzi) has an excellent terrace with towels and umbrellas for every sunbed

"Comfortable hotel with rooftop jacuzzi"
patrick_adelaer, 16 Juillet 2016

Very nice comfortable hotel located in the city centre of Cannes not far away from the Croiset boulevard (10 mins by foot). Nice comfortable rooms. If you are lucky you'll get a completely refurbished room. The others may have an older bathroom, but still comfortable and not really outdated. We had both room types and our kids were the lucky ones this time. The beds are very good. Everything very clean by the way. Small minibar with some small bottles of courtesy drinks. Especially the bottle of water was very welcome since the regular tap water in Cannes is slightly chlorized and hardly drinkable. The hotel offers an OK breakfast included in the room rate in our case. Very nice is the rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the sun on beach beds and relax in the jacuzzi. Pity that the small swimming pool was traded for the jacuzzi! Excellent location with high street shopping at Rue d'Antibes around the corner. A wide choice of restaurants around the hotel. For plain vanilla tourists and business travellers this is the best place to be. Being aware of the quality offered the hotel operator increased the room rates rapidly over the last couple of years. So, good value for quite some money, but nearing the acceptable limits. If you would not like to damage your car take the municipal underground parking garage around the corner (€ 16,40 / 24hrs) in stead of the very small and narrow parking garage of the hotel.

"Good value"
3pig-moto, 07 Juillet 2016

Around 5 min walking distance from Le Croisette. Stayed at the suite with a separate sitting area and a terrace. Clean, adequate space, good AC, the sitting area has some strange leather smell (probably the sofa) but it doesn't affect the other areas which is fine for me. Underground parking costs EUR 18 per day, need to reserve for a space, the entrance area is narrow and so if you have a big car you would need to be careful. The view from the terrace is just roof tops of other buildings. But luckily during our stay, there're fireworks at the beach right before midnight and it's perfect to watch at the terrace, so bonus for us! Overall, good value in the expensive city of Cannes.

"Wonderful stay. "
Amir H, 29 Juin 2016

Very luxury and clean hotel. Room is at a very convenient size you can say large. Bathroom is very clean and well equipped so as the room. The room has a coffe machine too. The hotel roof has an open air jacuzzi and nice lounges to enjoy the sun. The location is in the middle close to the station around 500 meters and the city center. Recommended stay with very friendly helpful staff. Thanks for being good

"Good location and value"
kalota k, 26 Juin 2016

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. The location is quite good, but there is no see view room. The see can be seen just from the roof top relaxing zone. We had a double room which was clean and quite big. Also the bathroom was very clean and spacey. It's good, that the toilet is separately from the bathroom. There is coffee machine in each room, and the mini bar and the coffee is for free. There is also A/C and free WiFi. The staff is polite and helpful.

"Best Luxury Value in Cannes"
AnnieAllYearTravels, 27 Mai 2016

The hotel's location is super perfect! You are right on the main shopping street and a block away from Le Croisette and the beaches. There are plenty of restaurants and hair salons right on your door step. The value for money is excellent - The rooms are the biggest I have ever experienced in Cannes. The breakfast menu is completely sufficient and beautiful. Upon arrival I received Fruit and wine in my room. They hand out complementary croissants and sweets during the day too. The rooms are super clean and the cleaning staff really make hygiene their business. What impressed me most was the amazing friendliness of all the staff and their manner to go out of their way to look after their guests. Its a true Ritz experience at half the price. I will recommend this property to anybody and will definitely return to them. Thank you so much for making my stay during the Film Festival so memorable

"So much to offer!"
PatriciaM74, 21 Mai 2016

Lovely hotel, great location and wonderful friendly staff. Just a short stroll from the sea front in Cannes and even closer to Rue d' Antibes and a choice of restaurants -this hotel suited me perfectly. The superb rooftop terrace was just a wonderful, calm and spacious area with spectacular views, the breakfast room was bright and cheerful and it was an excellent base from which to explore Cannes and the surrounding area.

"Very Nice Hotel"
Davew1403, 13 Mai 2016

Very nice hotel just minutes away from the sea front, The rooms are very comfortable with air conditioning, Coffee machine, and fridge with complimentary drinks. The sun terrace at the top of the hotel is a great sun trap with a Jacuzzi hot tub. The staff were very helpful, informative and spoke very good English. The hotel is surrounded by very good restaurants and bars

"Le Patio des Artistes"
CaelaJ, 11 Mai 2016

Fabulous hotel, excellent value for money for what you are getting in Cannes. Got an upgrade to deluxe room with terrace. Great rooftop sun terrace with magnificent views and hot tub! Surrounding area has nice little restaurants and bars, recommend the Italian just around the corner next to Mister Pizza. Lovely public beach to the left of the private beaches and further round the bay in Cannes La Bocca.

"Le Patio des Artistes"
CaelaJ, 11 Mai 2016

Fabulous hotel set a few roads back from the Croisette directly behind The Carlton. Excellent facilities, upgraded to a deluxe room with terrace, beautiful decor with large bathroom. Complimentary water and juice and coffee machine. Rooftop sun terrace with fantastic views and hot tub. Complimentary pastries during happy hour 241 per person. Great public beach on the front to the left. Excellent value for money for Cannes

"Excellent hotel"
Tripandyto, 04 Mai 2016

My husband and I stayed for 7 nights in this lovely hotel, which was immaculate. Room was large with coffee machine, ironing board, TV and radio. Staff were very attentive and pleasant -,nothing was too much trouble. There was good choice for breakfast, served in a bright dining room. We would recommend this hotel which was situated in a quiet area only 10 minutes from the promenade.

"Just Fab!"
Rachelle57, 20 Avril 2016

I stayed at the Best Western Le Patio des Artistes for four days, we only booked the room as I wanted to experience eating out each morning. The hotel was spotless, the room was very chic and the size was well above the usual french hotel rooms. I thought the location was great because after a few days you realise that you are only a 10 mins walk from the centre of Cannes and right beside the Supermarket which comes in very handy if you want to buy a few bottles of vino and some snacks.... the restaurants were lovely and the food was fantastic, I could not fault one place that we ate in from Indian, to french to Italian, especially IL Viaggio only 5 mins from the hotel in the square - the house wine was devine! - my only black mark would be the price all the restaurants appear to charge for Rosé - really €28.00 a bottle - when it is €4.00 in the supermarket, the mark up is ridiculous! but putting that aside I loved my stay in Cannes. We arrived in Nice airport and went straight out and bought the express bus ticket to Cannes - the bus station is just outside the door of the airport. We arrived in Cannes in 45 mins cost €33.00 return. another must is the train to Monoco - a fab place to visit, you have to buy the hop on hop off bus ticket and go around at least twice to get your bearings then enjoy your day hoping on and off at the sights you want to see €22.00 but there is a discount of €2.00 if you have travelled on the train up - pity they don't tell you this before rather than after you get on the bus and pay for the ticket - its on the flyer they give you once aboard . It is defo a destination that I would return to

"Our birthday treat"
933dors, 03 Avril 2016

My husband and I visited Cannes for our birthday treat, and we chose to stay here , I am so glad we stayed here we had a lovely room on the ground floor which was quite big, room was very comfortable and clean , also they have a lovely roof terrace which we both visted and enjoyed our bottle of wine and the weather was perfect ! Hotel is very close to everything 10/15 min from train station and 5/10 min walk to the main shopping bit and to the beach , plenty of nice places to eat and drink would recommend this hotel. Great customer service from this hotel and friendly staff .

"Lovely hotel"
Rhonwen D, 28 Février 2016

I can't praise this hotel enough. We stayed here for a week for my husbands 30th birthday in February. Before we arrived the hotel staff were helpful in making transfer recommendations with a baby to consider. They arranged for a bottle of wine in our room and a room upgrade. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful at all times. Hotel was clean and the rooms are beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend this hotel if travelling to Cannes on a budget but still looking for a touch of luxury.

"Snooty unfriendly unhelpful staff"
D S, 06 Février 2016

Went there last night to look at the facilities. Asked for my young daughter to go to the washroom and they outright refused. Walked out and will never set foot on that property again. Unreal. Think the employee's name was Sophia or something along those lines. At least they spoke english (sigh).

"Great Affordable Find in Low Season"
Beaurex212, 15 Janvier 2016

Had to make a last minute work trip to Cannes and all of the hotels on the Croisette were way out of budget..found this gem and was so pleased. Spent five nights and it was great. Not necessarily a business hotel, but super comfortable bed, great roof...and away from most of the travelers attending the conference I was at. It's about 7-10 minutes away from the Palais, a very easy and pretty walk. Highly recommend.

"Comfortable clean and central"
Mlambros42, 24 Octobre 2015

I have been traveling to Cannes for 5 years and haven't found a reasonable, clean and central hotel until now. This hotel is modern and simple - I stayed in a deluxe room which had a great shower, comfortable bed and spacious with a balcony. The breakfast is good - continental with sufficient variety. Great value for money.

"Nice room - rude staff"
Louisa M, 22 Octobre 2015

Nice enough looking room, a little squashy. Informative / helpful lady at the reception area, if a little intense. I have given the hotel a 2* review as a result of the overall, unpleasant experience of the staff. One example - I left an expensive adaptor in the room on my day of departure and only realised that I left it behind once I had left the hotel. I came back to the hotel to ask if it had been handed in - the man said it had not been recorded as lost property, and proceeded to show me a box of "spare" adaptors they had - he said that i could borrow one if i needed to charge my phone. To my delight, I saw that my adaptor was in the box (very distinct looking, not your average looking adaptor), however, he did not let me have it back. I was a bit upset as I spent a lot on this adaptor and it was clearly mine and was top of the pile so had clearly just been handed in, but there was no way of proving this.. my bad for not marking it i guess. Number 1. Why was this not recorded as lost property and put straight into their "spares" box? Number 2. Moreover, I found one of the males to be particularly rude and unhelpful when dealing with my concern - he was snappy and had a big attitude problem. Even if they HAD given me back my adaptor in the end , I would still rate this a 2.

"Very good experience"
Lika C, 03 Octobre 2015

We visited the hotel with our children. The lady at the reception welcomed us and was very nice and informative. The rooms were specious for the five of us and included all the amenities. The jacuzzi and the view from the rooftop were the highlights . The hotel is in city center and situated very close to everything: the main shopping street is right there and the promenade is in a short walking distance. We enjoyed a lot our stay .

"perfect rooms and modern hotel"
Saeed B, 29 Septembre 2015

the hotel is very good in general just i think breakfast need to be better but all was perfect location just few minute to the see its also just next of the shopping street serves was very good all stuff helpfull and smile

"Hotel Good- Cannes Not What Expected"
28taniag, 27 Septembre 2015

The hotel was exactly as I expected. Comfortable beds. Nicely appointed room. Perfect European Breakfast. Parking was a little difficult in the garage but that was due to my skill level with a manual transmission. Cannes was not what I expected. I felt like I was walking through Beverly Hills.

"Lovely room & jacuzzi, unfortunate housekeeping"
L U, 26 Septembre 2015

We booked a twin room at the hotel and it was nice, modern, clean with complimentary drinks in the fridge. We also met with some problems with train tickets and the receptionist did let us use the phone after initial miscommunication as they don't speak that fluent English. The jacuzzi was also lovely (I think there is only 1) as we were there at night and had the entire thing to ourselves. However, when we checked out of the room, I left a bag of chocolates and a cheese which I had carefully brought it all over Europe from Belgium and Amsterdam. I called the hotel a few hours I checked out and completely forgotten about it when I got back to collect my luggage. When I have reached Marseille at night, I called the hotel again but the lady kept on saying 'no'. Asked my new hotel to call this hotel and communicate in French but the answer was still the same. I understand it is my mistake of not taking them out but I'm just quite sad that a 4 star hotel doesn't have lost items service.

"Worst designed bathroom"
WaterArt, 26 Septembre 2015

There's usually nothing exciting to say about brand name hotels like the Best Western. The room was pleasant was was breakfast. There's a nice terrace on the roof with a spa. But I do need to note that the bathroom in my room was really badly designed in terms of access and use.

"Great hotel 5 minutes from the Croisette"
TravellerAMT, 18 Septembre 2015

This hotel is in a great location - only five minutes from the Croisette, behind the Ritz Carlton. The rooms are modern and kept spotlessly clean. The beds were really comfortable. The wifi was strong and we had no issues with connectivity. There are flat screen televisions, radios and speakers (for ipods etc) in the room. Plus an ironing board too. If you want a cup of tea in the morning take a small travel kettle as the coffee maker is difficult to use and any tea made will taste of coffee! There is a supermarket across from the hotel where you can buy snacks etc. Roof terrace is a lovely place to watch the sunset. Would definitely stay here again!

"Small hotel in Cannes"
Panda M, 15 Septembre 2015

Excellent small, quiet hotel minutes from the Croisette and close to the famous Rue d'Antibes.. Modern bathrooms with nice shower gel/shampoos/body cream etc. Towels are changed regularly. Good in-bedroom facilities - iron and ironing board; decent hairdryer; flat screen television, coffee maker; and good fridge. Take a kettle however if you want tea. Beds are super comfortable with very high standard duvets. Air conditioning is very effective. Roof terrace is great for those quieter moments before or after the beach beckons. Cleaners are very efficient and it is spotless everywhere. Only breakfast is offered (but not compulsory and the Bambou cafe two minutes away around the corner is good and not expensive) The hotel reasonably asks one not to eat bought-in food in the public areas. However we were able to make good use of the Casino supermarket which is only a five minute walk away for drinks/ snacks etc on the balcony. We would definitely go back!

"Perfect cheap stop over in cannes"
JocheRoche, 06 Septembre 2015

We only booked this hotel as our villa was not available for first night of our trip so we booked this highly rated but not too costly hotel. Our expectations were not high but were superseded Good points A/c on a very hot day Very comfy bed in veryquiet room Location very central no more than 7 minute walk to the croisette Lovely roof terrace jacuzzi and beds just behind the famous ritz Carlton Lovely breakfast (for 20 euros) Very helpful friendly valet Bad points Receptionist on first night was rude (Though the person the next morning was nice) Nothing else really Things to bear in mind Book parking if you need it as there are only 7 parking spaces though there is a car park 2 roads away

"Loved it !"
csant, 19 Août 2015

Located off a side street at the end of Rue d'Antibes.Very quiet, room nicely furnished , Internet delivered and the roof terrace kept immaculately clean.2 annoying things the coffee machine in room not easy to use which is a shame, hence instructions should be available, also the gap in the shower door leaves the bathroom flooded,a case of style over practicality.

"Bad attitude and unprofessional "
Joe E, 16 Août 2015

The location is fantastic, rooms are brand new, can't complain about that.... The turn off of this place is the receptionist called Sonia....... Bad attitude and a very unprofessional person. She tried to charge me twice for my room and when I tried to explain for her that the room was paid for when we booked she did not want to listen. I had to show her my email receipt and she did not even apologize for being wrong. We had also asked for a late check out which she rudely denied because of "all the people waiting to check in". When we got down to the lobby there was not a single person waiting for a room. Her attitude made me feel like I was working for her and not on a vacation.... The only person who was nice and professional was Mohamed the door man. He was a great help and always had a smile on his face. Honestly, for the price we paid I was expecting a better receptionist service.

"best price/service/quality ratio in Cannes"
Juergen J, 16 Août 2015

We had the privilege double room and stood there for 5 nights. The room was very nice with separate toilet and bath room, a very large bedroom, modern style with free coffee and water. The staff was very friendly and the location is the best you can get in Cannes for a price of around 200.- per night. lots of good restaurants around and only a 5min walk to the famous beach clubs. WiFi was also strong, stable and always available.

"Waste our day"
Shirin A, 09 Août 2015

We just arrived to hotel at 14:30 and showed them ID cards and confirmation email. They checked their system and said you have not booked any rooms and we are fully booked now!!! showing the confirmation email and payment confirmation didn't work. . We had to call to hotels.com office in Sweden,They talked with them and said they have paid and we have their confirmation number but they didn't accept!! then we were on line(Hotels.com office in Sweden) for 1:30 h that they can find another hotel for us!!! we almost waste 3-4 hours till they said we can go to another hotel and destroyed our day!!! Personel were extremly unfriendly and they thought we are lying about reservation and paying ...!!! Not recommended at all!

"Superb Value for money !!!!"
Tricks888, 03 Août 2015

having checked out of the mecure croissette beach hotel for 3 nights for €279 a night i was annoyed as i did not feel that i had got my money's worth so my partner suggested we move on to another hotel for the last night so this is what we did... We booked online for £108 (pounds) for the night bargain compared to the last hotel.. We were greeted by a porter who took the bags straight off us and we were checked in within 5 minutes.... We went to our room which was on the second floor opened the door to an ice cool room beautifully modern designed and spacious room... NOW THATS BETTER which were our first words... A Lovely bathroom, a great shower... and above all quiet... !!! excuse me for the short review as we were only there for one night but the reason for this review was to compare the difference to the last hotel we stayed at so that guests would not make the same mistake as we did.... see my review --> (mecure croissette beach hotel ) i hope this helps many thanks for reading.... x
