Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor

This hotel has everything… 4 star plus. Clean and detailed amenities including 2 Tesla chargers. I got a chance to swim in the warm pool. This hotel is an easy choice place to stay. The staff is friendly and the room is super pristine with everything you could ever want in a room.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. Our room was above the pool and spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was ok - typical hotel food. It was hot in August but our room was a perfect getaway after a very warm day out and about. Will definitely stay here again

This hotel is actually quite lovely. Nicely laid out for privacy. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the suite was completely quiet, and I got the break that I desperately needed. Breakfast was good both mornings with a nice variety of choices. The staff was kind and friendly.

Our stay was amazing. We had everything we needed, the room was very clean, breakfast was delicious, the view of the mountains is breathtaking, management and staff were friendly! We look forward to our next stay :)

Wonderful location, accommodation, food and most of all the staff. A true five star experience from start to finish. The facilities were exceptional for the time of year, hot tub, warm pool, sauna and steam room. As good as any spa in town. Can't wait to return.

The king deluxe with the fireplace was awesome. The room had a vaulted ceiling which made it seem so much larger. The breakfast, was good. It would've been excellent if they had bacon. It will be my go to whenever I stay in Calistoga or upper part Napa valley.

Great that they have a rollout bed for an extra charge. Gym is very good as well for a quick workout . Breakfast was delicious as always. Waffles and coffee on a cold morning always hits the spot. Banana bread was good too.

it's very near to the downtown for the shopping and food. Very good location. But the problem is the air condition is really old and make big noise. And the refrigerator is placed just on side of bed which also generates low frequency noise and we have to switch off it.

Hotel was adequate. Breakfast needs to be improved and some areas need updating. As a Canadian cost was high for what we got. Recycling was not very good. It used to be better in the past especially breakfast. Improvement needed as a premium property.

This is a cute hotel near all the things to do in town. Very pleasantly happy with the room and provided breakfast. Property was clean, employees were friendly. Also had a cute little patio area to sit and gather with friends.

This is probably my fifth or sixth time at Stevenson manner - and it was once again great. Breakfast was good and the room more than comfortable (we highly recommend upgrading to the larger ones with the fireplace). The only disappointment was the $50 charge for early checkin (and by early, I mean 1pm). We'd just come off a long-haul international flight and then a gruelling drive through San Fran traffic - and so we just paid to be able to get in a shower and grab an hour or two sleep before dinner. It wasn't peak season, the hotel was far from full mid week and there was no pretence of even checking if there were any rooms available. It was clearly an automatic response to get extra revenue while doing nothing extra. They might argue it keeps the rates low, but the rates aren't low and it's hard to see how this affected their cost - especially compared to the saving from not having daily room service like they used to last time we stayed.

My husband and I have just checked out from a 2 night stay here. Check in was really friendly and we found out there is a free shuttle that goes to and from Castello di Amarosa which was amazing news for us as my husband was going to have to drive it and limit his wine intake! This hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms were large, with a few amenities like a microwave and refrigerator and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was also really modern and clean. The breakfast was quite limited in options but everything tasted great and the coffee with French vanilla cream really was the best filter coffee I've ever had!! One thing that we weren't overly impressed with though is that they didn't offer any housekeeping services because we were only staying for 2 nights, we would have expected to at least have our bed made up for the price we were paying! We did get given fresh towels because we asked for them. The hotel also has an outdoor pool and fitness centre but we didn't make use of either. It is a short walk into town approx 10 mins and there are restaurants, wine tasting rooms, bars and shops. I would definitely recommend Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor, thank you for a lovely stay.

First - we love Calistoga and the more laid back feel there. Our room was spacious and comfortable. (King with balcony) The staff were friendly and caring. Breakfast was standard hotel fare but you can order omelettes too. I appreciated the air conditioning as it was hot outside. We had room 208 overlooking the pool -which was pretty quiet for August. Nice to sit our on the balcony on cooler evening with a glass of wine! We will go back here.

We loved everything about this property! Check in was quick and easy. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. King bed was very comfy not to soft or hard. Plenty of pillows also. Pool and hot tub clean and great temp and breakfast was great.

This hotel is very close to the downtown area of Calistoga. It is walking distance to the shops and restaurants. My room was good sized and very clean and the grounds are nice. The pool area was very inviting and the water a comfortable temperature. The gym was kind of small but definitely adequate for a workout while on a vacation. The breakfast had a variety of foods and options for everyone. I would stay here if I took a trip up that way again.

Everything was wonderful. The staff was very accommodating. Rooms were very clean and well stocked. Breakfast was great! It had a quaint courtyard area with a fountain and it was Very close to restaurants and shopping.

We stayed in a king suite with balcony. Room was very spacious, bed was comfortable. Coffee and tea always available in room or in lobby. Nice shower with instant, and plenty of hot water. Staff was very nice. Breakfast choices are varied, and the coffee machine is great!!

Generous size room with comfortable bed. Very nice shower/ bathroom and television. Excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. We look forward to return visits! (We hope to return in the summer when it's warm enough to enjoy the pool and hot tub.)

Loved Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor! Rooms were comfortable and clean. We stayed in the King Suite which had a couch, fireplace, wet bar, fridge and large bathroom. Breakfast varied each day and was good. Close to many restaurants. Hotel staff was very nice. Easy drive to Napa Valley. We would stay here again when visiting the wine country!

The room was very clean and comfortable along with a good layout and well thought out. Very good breakfast with made to order omelettes. The gal at the front desk was very nice. We will definitely return.

In the Heart of Calistoga, Quiet, scenic, fantastic pool & Hot Tub... Great Garden area to chill... comfortable rooms with a larger refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker and a sink... of course you're in wine country so wine glasses and a cork screw :)

This was a pleasant surprise. It is a very nice clean BW located in a perfect location for you to easily walk around Calistoga and quick easy drive to St. Helena for dining and shopping in both areas. The rooms were great and the breakfast spread was excellent. Only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower is pretty weak. Otherwise this place gives you more than you expect from a BW and its the most affordable option.

We were booked for one night on December 26th, but could not travel because I had and still have COVID-19. We had a hotels.com voucher and I tried to cancel with them without losing the voucher and out of pocket costs. Hotels.com called Best Western and asked if they we could avoid the penalty and rebook, they were told, "No." In other words, Best Western Steven Manor doesn't care if you have to cancel at the last minute became of Covid. . . getting their money is their main concern. Sad.

If you're not interested in the hot springs or you want a room with a fridge and microwave, the Best Western Plus in Calistoga is a great location, great breakfast, and wonderful staff. Just be sure to ask for a room away from the pool where there is music playing all day and people can swim/hot tub and talk right outside your room until 10 pm.

This hotel is a hidden gem! Part hotel part bed and breakfast feel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful, and different every day. It is within walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops in Calistoga and not too far from all the wineries and other quaint towns. We will return again and again!

Hotel provides an excellent place to stay in Napa Valley Wine Country. Within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops in Calistoga. Nice, modern and clean rooms with friendly staff. Serves good breakfast.

Be careful when parking here in the lot. The concrete blocks for the spaces have rebar sticking out. The blocks are not properly spaced and the spaces are very small. Our vehicle was damaged by one of the spaces due to a piece of rebar sticking out about 2 inches. We parked in the space at night and didn't see the piece sticking out. When we tried to pull out in the morning we heard a screeching noise. We got out and saw that our mudguard was stuck on the block that was pulled out and dragging our car. It pulled our left fender in and damaged the vehicle. Maintenance staff helped us get the mudguard lifted enough to take the piece of rebar out. It made a hole and damaged the vehicle. We were told by an older/mid aged man (differentiating this way as there is a very young gentleman who was kind to us) at the front desk that we should not have parked there since the rebar was sticking out. I explained that we parked at night and didn't see it. Furthermore, why would they allow a space to have broken/damaged blocks in place. He avoided the topic and was hesitant in letting us take pictures of the block. I had to come back later when he was gone to take pictures of the block that they now removed and placed in the planter. He also did not allow us to make a claim through the Hotel insurance and told us that it was our responsibility to go through our auto insurance. He refused to accommodate us in any way and simply gave us the managers card and said call the following Monday for help. He would not offer any assistance or even let us know of a mechanic in the area that we could get the car safely looked at. He wanted to be done with the situation. Overall disappointing and unprofessional. I've had better service at a motel 6. This wasn't a minor issue and should have been treated very differently. Side note: The other front desk staff were very kind and helpful but this particular mid-aged/older man was of no help. Refused to look into the situation, assist in any way with a claim, couldn't tell us of any shop we can take our car to in order to make sure it was safe to drive, refused to make any written statement for the manager, and basically passed all responsibility to us. Absolutely horrible customer service.

They obviously hadn't cleaned the room despite what the sticker on the door said. We checked in late at night and didn't discover this until the next morning. We had found a clump of hair in the shower, the sink and even more gross in the bed. And the hair was not our color hair at all. Just gross!

Bring your own pillow and don't be surprised if you return home with a backache. The hotel is well situated near the main drag of Calistoga. You're really paying for location so don't expect much from this thin-walled, basic hotel. Other Best Western Plus hotels are better. This one needs renovated rooms and hopefully they'll include blackout curtains along with new furniture.

The hotel is well located at the edge of the popular area of Calistoga, walking distance to restaurants and shops. The rooms are large, with a kitchenette including a sink, microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom is nicely laid out and offers very nice premium brand amenities usually found at Best Westerns. Breakfast is very nice - a different main protein dish every day - one day was custom omelettes! Along with cereal, muffins/pastries, and waffles. The coffee was really good. The staff is friendly and helpful and everywhere was very clean - our room was spotless and I always go over hotel rooms with disinfecting wipes. Not needed this time. Also, I was wearing white socklets as slippers and they stayed pretty white and clean after 4 days of use. There was a pool that looked nice albeit a bit small. And a nice courtyard with tables and chairs for relaxing in the evening. Pros - Very clean Nice rooms Great breakfast Friendly helpful staff Good Wi-Fi Easy parking Cons - Bed was a bit too soft for my personal liking AC was old school type and noisy Suggestions to the owners - Perhaps add hooks or pegs to the alcove near the room door for hanging jackets and hats etc. Add more hooks to the bathroom - maybe one on the back of the bathroom door and a towel ring on the right side wall next to the sink (there is one on the left side of the sink and one towel bar and one hook near the shower) When it comes time to refresh the rooms (which will be in a very long time as the rooms seem very fresh and newish now), replace the bathroom sink vanity with one that is straight across. The present bow front one looks very nice but for shorter people, it gets in the way of reaching the sink.

We had a great stay. The grounds and room were clean and very spacious. We loved the pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna! The location is perfect. It's was very peaceful, but close enough to walk. It took me 3 minutes to get to my massage appointment. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We will be back!

This is a nice higher end motel. Great clean rooms and comfortable bed. I got a great rate and was surprised I could find anything for under $200 a night in the area, however, it was a Monday night. I'm sure it was much pricier over the holiday weekend. Everything was great. My only world of caution is to avoid getting a room that looks on to the mountainside as there is construction that starts at 7 am with constant beeping. I realize this is not the motel's fault, however, it is good to be aware of. It made me get up early and out of the room earlier than I had planned. The complementary breakfast is very nice.

My family and I stayed here for just one night but arrived early enough to enjoy this fabulous hotel. The pool area is great. Plenty of tables and chairs to to soak up the sun, or sit in the shade, nice sized pool and jacuzzi and just a nice relaxing vibe. There is a sauna, and steam room and the fitness center is equipped with cardio machines, good sized dumbbells and a cable machine. Everything you need for a hotel workout. Rooms, are very clean! Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great especially because it's Included! I wish I had another day to relax here. Also very close to town. Easy and nice walk. Will come here again if my travels bring me to the area!

Calistoga Best Western is the top. There are plenty of “boutique accommodations” in the area that cater to those seeking mud baths, etc., but NONE can state that their rooms or other accommodations exceed the comfort, cleanliness, staff, amenities, etc., that Best Western provides.

We had 4 nights, completely walkable to everything we wanted to do. Rooms comfortable, pool area so conducive to use at all open time. Breakfast much better than most, variety and tasty. All staff helpful and friendly

Excellent smaller hotel. Nice layout with only 34 rooms on two floors. Pool, fitness room, breakfast, good parking. Close to downtown. Highly recommend. Good size rooms with plenty of storage. Cute courtyard with a water feature. :))

The Stevenson Best Western was everything we could want in a hotel. Professional, accomodating, and kind staff, comfortable bed, salt-water swimming pool, quiet, outdoor lounge, delicious breakfast and exceptional value compared to other area hotels. We'll be back! Great location at the edge of Calistoga main Street. Ideal location at the edge of Calistoga Main Street. Our room was large and overlooking the pool with a small balcony. Beds were really comfortable and large. Bathroom was spotlessly clean and of good size. All of the staff we met were very friendly, informative and cheerful. It is a great location for walking to wine tastings locally or transporting to wineries.

Stevenson Manor was a wonderful property. It was immaculately clean, had large rooms, beautiful and relaxing grounds and great amenities. We loved our stay so much we booked an additional night. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was more than ample.

I have stayed at a lot of Best Westerns and this one is the best of all of them. The pool area is fantastic. Staff are spot on. Rooms are clean and in good repair. Breakfast was only average but better than most. Hotel is close to town center and short drive to lots of attractions. To top it all off, the price is quite reasonable.

Spent the night at this hotel after a concert at the Charles Krug Winery, which is about 90 miles from our home in Fremont. This Best Western, fortunately, was 7-8 miles away from the winery, which was a easy commute after the concert.

For a 3 star hotel it offers a lot, big and very clean rooms, facilities like gim, pool, sauna and jacuzzi. A delicious breakfast and great location in Calistoga. Near the hotel you got the Main Street with restaurants and shop's . No doubt I will be back

Im a travel nurse and Best Westerns has always been my favorite hotel ever since I got my assignment in Evergreen Park. The service is outstanding. Sunny, Tesh and Cija made sure that I am always being taken care of everytime I check in at the hotel. I wont go to any other hotel but only in Best Western Midway Chicago. We have stayed at this Best Western annually for the past three years and have never been disappointed by our stays. The rooms are always clean and the a/c working well. We also take advantage of their breakfasts which is just enough to make our morning wine tastings more enjoyable.

From the moment we checked in, to the moment I checked out, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Best Western Stevenson Manor. Good complimentary breakfast, fitness Center with lots of fitness options to use. Clean and tidy room, quiet during the night for a good night's rest.

We always stay at the Stevenson Manor in Calistoga when visiting wine country. Great comfy accommodations and really nice people - Michelle and Rebecca in particular. The only complaints are: (1) the shower water pressure is near zero making for long showers; and (2) the pool doesn't open until 9:00am and I like to swim for exercise in the morning.

I was happy to reflect on my stay at the Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor because it was just what I needed, for the one night I needed, at a great price and had a great breakfast. I got in late so I needed to park on the street but it's quiet and it was easy to get to my room and I felt safe. Downtown Calistoga is a short walk (and who doesn't need a walk when you're on a food and wine tour in Napa County?) Beds were comfortable and shower amenities were nice.

A beautiful Best Western hotel! Staff was very friendly, room and grounds were the cleanest of a best western I've ever stayed at! Many other best westerns should actually take notes. Nothing in my room was broken or falling apart. Everything appeared to be clean and very nicely maintained. No chipping paint, wood rot or mildew in bathrooms anywhere. Everything just worked and we were very comfortable.

The staff was kind and professional. The hotel and room was very clean. We were always greeted coming and going. The breakfast was hot and fresh! We have stayed here before and feel like the price is very reasonable. The location is excellent for wine tasting.

Lovely hotel for a family stay. Good breakfast and nice big room - King, Mountain view. Pool was 82F and really nice to take a dip even with a cool air temp of 40F. Great hot tub. A little noise from other rooms but definitely a winner. Pull out couch made a great kids bed. Will stay again. Lovely staff!

Nice modern hotel, great location, as easy walk to downtown. Great heated swimming pool and hot tub. Could even swim at night when it was cold outside. Nice hot breakfast and the room was very comfortable.

Our rooms were clean, bed comfortable and quiet. Having breakfast included with the room was a value and convenience. Food was average, but there were enough of a selection to meet your needs. Location was great! Walking distance to everywhere in town.

This is our go to place to stay in Calistoga. The rooms are very clean and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast offerings are plentiful. The location is very walkable to the restaurants downtown.

Great location (one block off the center street in Calistoga), great staff (specifically Rebecca at check in, she was lovely and so knowledgeable), great room (clean, spacious and well decorated), great breakfast (it had everything you would want or need) and great value (everything else was outrageously expensive and it was a pleasant surprise to get everything they promised for a price that seemed fair). I would absolutely stay there again.

For a Best Western Hotel, I thought it was pretty pricey for our weekend stay. But, travel costs for hotels in this area are high, so you need to accept that. The front desk staff were incredibly nice, helpful, and highly competent. The rooms were ordinary. Personally, I found the beds a little soft. The rooms were super clean as was the lobby and breakfast area Guests were covid-aware and mask wearing was uniform. The pool area was well-kept, and also clean (as was the fitness room). The location to town was good.

This was our first stay in a hotel in the Napa area and we were pleasantly surprised. The location was awesome. We enjoyed the hot tub and the breakfast amenities. Our room was clean and there were plenty of towels both for the pool and bathroom. We also used the table in the garden area to play cards with our friends. We will definitely stay there again. Our previous stays have always been in a bed and breakfast. The price was great compared to other places we checked.

We stayed a few days and the breakfast kept getting better and better. The pool is very nice. The rooms are quiet . The beds comfortable. The fireplace was very nice and easy to use. Easy parking and very close to the center of town.the staff really wants to make your stay delightful.

Pros: Clean, Sanitized, Organized, Modern Looking, Kind staff, Spacious Room. Will stay here again next time. So close to the shops and attractions. Cons: Hand Towel Holder is on the wrong location. That's all I can think of.

This is a really cute little hotel, especially for a Best Western. The hotel is clean and well kept, and it is within walking distance to the main part of town. I have stayed here a couple of times now for business and it has been a good experience. The internet is a little slow. The breakfast is really good, even with the current pandemic restrictions.

The hotel in Chelmsford MA was mostly clean and breakfast good. We saw no families checking in to the hotel. It seems liked mostly homeless people lived there. They sat and stud outside the entrance smoking and talking. I asked the front desk for the $20 gift cards per night and they didn't know anything about it and would check on it. I forgot to ask when leaving and when I called they said I would get them in 2 weeks from the main office. When I didn't get them I called customer support and they said I wasn't eligible because I had a reduced room. I never was told that and the TV never said that. Also said I never registered for the promotion. Why didn't the hotel tell me all this. Shouldn't your hotels know about your promotions. No Best Westerns for us in the future.

Napa Valley is a destination where one can spend hundreds to thousands of dollars per night on lodging. Best Western Calistoga is a great option for those who want to tour Napa Valley rather than spend most of their time pampered at a destination resort. You'll save money that you can then use to buy wine! To me, the town of Calistoga has always been the laid-back cousin to Napa city. There are many good restaurants, old-school mud baths, and quick access to wineries either on Silverado Trail or Saint Helena Highway. Best Western Calistoga is a relatively new property which is evident as soon you walk in the lobby. Everything is clean and shiny. The decor is modern. Rooms are large with comfortable beds, a microwave, a refrigerator, and air conditioning. My room looked out to an empty field. Because the hotel entrance is in the back, there isn't any noticeable street noise. There is a pool, which I didn't use. Breakfast is included. You'll get a choice of hot and cold entrees—surely something to please every palate. I love the stylish wooden shutters that are in the room. But I would love them even more if there was a blackout roller shade behind them. Staff are helpful and friendly. This will be my new go-to hotel in Napa Valley!

The Best Western Hotel in Calistoga was very clean, the front desk was very accommodating and the free breakfast was varied and delicious!!! I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends and family.

The Napa Valley version of a Best Western - great rooms, great pool, right in downtown Calistoga, easy walk to restaurants and several wineries. Staff was excellent and made our stay as good as it could be.

We were a bit disappointed by the BW Plus Stevenson Inn. We expected more. It's conveniently located at the northern end of the Napa Valley and is a perfect spot for wine tasting and exploring. The room and facilities were fine. We loved the walk in shower rather than a tub/shower combo. I wish that we had time to take advantage of the pool. Breakfast was the problem. There were no gluten-free options for my wife. No fruit, no yogurt, nada… the desk clerk found a banana in the back when I asked… I preregistered online the day before and requested gluten-free options… we would have picked up something the night before had we known.

Easy to get to, plenty of parking and clean hotel. They had grab and go breakfast options and a microwave you can heat up your breakfast. The rooms were a good size and the bed was super comfortable. It was hard getting the toiletries out of the dispensers, but other than that, a great stay!

Excellent stay Friendly efficient staff generous and thoughtful bag breakfast during Covid Property was spotlessly clean. When our TV didn't work they upgraded us to a balcony room where we watched the sunset over Mt St Helena and wildlife, quiet and peaceful. Nice property. Will definitely stay again.

We have stayed here several times. We love it. The facilities are great - large comfortable rooms, wonderful showers, comfortable beds. And the people are amazing - always friendly, accommodating and informative. Highly recommended.

Many Best Westerns are now over priced with dated amenities. Have been a rewards member for many years, 72000+ points. Last 11 day trip stayed at BW 2 nights. 1st BW was a poor value (dated rooms). 2nd was OK. Offered $25 BW gift cards with each stay. However, as usual gift BW cards were never sent. By the time I called and received them, they expired same day and BW would not allow me to book a room for a future date. This has happened several times before. Seems like a planned scam. Will think twice before booking with BW again.

The room was really clean and modern looking. The bed was so comfortable, it feels like we were sleeping on clouds :-) Check-in clerk was friendly, and the process was fast & easy. Breakfast to-go bag was plenty.

So my husband and I are on a two week vacation.. this stay was on our last week .. aesthetically it's a nice hotel at the end of downtown Calistoga... Pros: The staff is friendly and accommodating a big plus in my book.. they're the first people you see! The Hotel is clean and has hand sanitizer stations by elevators which is not the case in most Hotels.. and when I wAs laying out by the pool they did wipe down the chairs so it made me feel safe and like they are adhering to all Covid protocol.. it's walking distance to downtown. Cons: The only negative is we faced the side of the street and I got no sleep! We heard every car and diesel starting at 4 a.m I'm not sure if they're doing construction but it was so noisy... we were going to stay a extra night but I couldn't get another night with no sleep!! Otherwise a lovely Hotel, request a room not facing the street!

Best western plus in Savannah store number 11215,I must say such friendly faces through the mask ,down from management to housekeeping, always asking if we needed anything, which in return made the guest very friendly!! This property was clean and recently renovated. The amenities in the room were very nice, from a comfortable bed to a wet bar area. The courtyard area was a beautiful, pleasant surprise and used by us to relax during our stay.

This was perfect for all of us; family & friends touring wine country. Location is perfect for walking to casual restaurants/dinner options. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Hot Tub is salt water, and soothing at the end of the day. Every inch of this hotel was exceptionally clean. Book with confidence!

This hotel is a secret gem. The price per night is a lot less then the other hotels around. Location is great waking distance to anything in the town. The breakfast was buffet . Had plenty of options and the women working in the kitchen coked something special to fit my husband gluten free allergy restrictions. The pool area was very beautiful, pool extremely clean and refreshing. The hotel allowed our relatives from other hotels to come use the pool. The room were extremely clean, beds very comfortable and rooms had plenty of fresh air/ ac . We would stay there again

This is one of the most well kept BW I have stayed. I stayed during my surgery at St Helena. The hospital is about a 10 minute drive. We arrived early and were able to check in which was nice because we could relax a couple hours before my pre-op appt. There are not very many hotels in the area offering 2 bed rooms. We had to stay an extra day after my surgery. They had to move us to a different room and set up a roll away bed but were so kind and helpful and let us move as soon as the other room was ready. They offered to move our belongings for us and did everything they could to make it a trouble free experience. I am staying here again for my post op visit. I would definitely stay here again, Book out as soon as you can. Rates go up everywhere in wine country during prime months.

We stayed one night as a quick get away. This hotel was beyond expectations! Very clean and comfortable. A very nice view of the mountains and a short walk from downtown Calistoga. The fireplace was a nice surprise. The walls are a little thin so you could hear deep voices next door but that would be the only negative. Overall, I would definately recommend this hotel and I hope to return soon.

Our stay was second to none...it was equal to many 5 star hotels around the world...Every detail was/is first class...The "entire" staff was/is outstanding...We will only stay at this location next time we visit Calistoga...

Modern motel not far from centre on Calistoga. Room was generous in size and very clean. Bed possibly a little soft but that is a personal thing. Staff very helpful (my wife left some medication in the bar fridge after we checked out and left). They kept it until we could come back and collect it. Breakfast was quite adequate for a Best Western.

This is the second time we stayed here. Love the location in Calistoga. Close to Indian Springs Spa next door. Great new resturant called Sam's Social Club,you can wak there. Nice firepit outside, while waiting for a table. At the Best Western Stevenson Manor there have redone the eating area, and wifi area. It is fabulous. We will be back.

Thank you staff and management for your kindness and caring during our recent stay. We were fire evacuees and you still took us in even though your area was under an evacuation alert status. Thanks to all the first responders, that didn't happen. Keep up the great job your doing because we notice all the professionalism you provide and we will be back.

Very nice clean, quiet hotel in a good location for a Napa Valley experience. The staff were all extraordinarily helpful and pleasant. The pool and lounging areas were great, the breakfast was simple but perfect for us. Slept like a baby. I would stay there again.

I can not say enough about the staff and hotel. My best stay ever at a Best Western property. We were there when the power was shut down by PG&E for 9 hours. That staff gave us LED lanterns for our rooms during the outage. Loved staying at the hotel. Staff was top notch.

We were originally scheduled to camp in a local state park - but the day we arrived it was well over 100. We quickly changed plans and booked a room at the Best Western. A great experience - everything was clean, well maintained, a good breakfast selection and only 1/2 mile to many local restaurants. Best of all the room was cool that evening. We would recommend and stay here again if in the area.

Loved this hotel! It was new, modern, clean and comfortable. Great pool and outdoor seating. Good complimentary breakfast selection. Nice staff. Husband was out for work past check out time so they gave me a key to the pool so I could wait for him to return. Great location to wineries and downtown Calistoga. Will definitely return!

A friend and I used Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor as our base during a four-day girlfriends trip to Napa Valley. The location in Calistoga was perfect. Calistoga is a cute town, very walkable with a nice range of good restaurants and easy driving distance to tons of wineries as well as to other non-wine attractions. I researched every lodging in Calistoga before choosing Stevenson Manor. So many places emphasized romantic rooms, which didn't apply to us. We wanted two queen beds, easy parking, clean accommodations, free breakfast and attractive premises. We got all of that plus a pool, hot tub and beautiful sunsets. The décor was welcoming and modern. It was so nice to come back from a day of sightseeing to warm cookies, cucumber water, iced tea and chocolates in the lobby. The breakfast buffet featured all of my favorites: plain Greek yogurt, soy milk, almond milk and fresh berries. It also had other fruit, a different egg dish daily, a waffle maker and other amenities. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom looked like it had been decorated by an HGTV host, with white subway tile and a glass-enclosed shower. There was an extra sink at a wet bar in the room, which was handy. Other pluses to this property: friendly, helpful staff; good wine for purchase in the lobby; quality tea in the rooms.

There were chocolate chip cookies every afternoon, iced tea & cucumber water all day in the lobby. We stayed in a Mountain View king room with a balcony, see photo. There is a lawn tractor dealership nearby, but otherwise the view of the mountains is great! Our room had a new modern shower, but no bathtub. There is a wet bar with a microwave & fridge too. Breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again. We used the community shuttle bus to get to the wineries. They'll give you a free pass for the shuttle at check-in.

Enjoyed a few days at this property. Very clean, spacious rooms with great bed and bathroom. Excellent pool area along with fitness center. Breakfast each day seemed home cooked as it was not the BW plus usual scrambled eggs. Only criticism is the air conditioner is very noisy while going on and off during the night. Just me, as I am a light sleeper. Nice property for families; plenty of restaurants and shopping close by.

From checking in to breakfast, to cleanliness of the room, to checking out; all of these were excellent. Everyone is friendly and will greet you and willing to assist you. The person who took care of the breakfast was great. She made sure everything was stocked, clean. One morning we had quiche and another morning we had breakfast tacos. The coffee was good and always available. Our room was large and clean, our bed very comfortable. This hotel is centrally located and you can walk to restaurants, store.

We are so happy we decided to stay at Best Western. The service was awesome. Breakfast the best we've ever had at a BW. So many options including hot options, this is no ordinary continental breakfast. So many thoughtful options included. Our room was very well appointed, very clean, comfortable beds and linens. The pool and hot tub were clean and inviting. There is also a gym, steam room and sauna. It's a lovely well appointed hotel. You can see the care the staff put into maintaining the property is evident all over the resort. Highly recommend a stay here, you won't be disappointed. My only advice if you are really light sleeper is to request a room on the 2nd floor or a quiet area of the hotel. If you have someone who walks like an elephant above you, you can hear it. No fault of the hotels, just inconsiderate guests.

I surprised my wife brought her to Calistoga. I decided to stay at the best western. We had a wonderful experience fron check in to check out. We use the pool water, we had breakfast in the morning must say i was surprised full breakfast and the food tasted fresh. Would reccomend any one coming to Calistoga to stay here you will not be dissapointed. Cabt say enough about the great staff

Welcoming staff and a great free breakfast. The rooms are great, if not the largest and the little courtyard is a delight to have your above-average motel buffet breakfast. It's a short walk into the centre of town, so it's a bit quieter, but within staggering distance of the excellent Calistoga inn bar. Pool area is lovely, and was very quiet when we were there. Highly recommended

This is a very updated hotel located within a few hundred feet of the center of Calistoga. Park and leave your car! The room, lobby and grounds were spotless, the check-in person (whom I believe was the manager) was extraordinarily nice and welcoming, and orange-infused water and cookies were available in the lobby in the afternoon. My room even had a little wet bar with REAL glasses and mugs! Love that! The pool was shallow but heated only by the sun, so not too hot, and there was a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Very quiet at night. The one problem was that breakfast didn't begin until 7am, so that doesn't work for business travellers, and the lobby is actually LOCKED from 11pm until 7am! Two other things I didn't like was that the shape of the sink juts out into your belly when you're trying to wash or put on makeup, and there was no hand-held shower head, which I always prefer. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful location let me say. Great kitchen staff, food was fresh. Rooms were doused in detergent/bleach smell. I discussed with front desk, was told housekeeping would take care of it. Came in later, same issue. We were advised to open the windows and turn up the a/c fan while we slept! I kept asking for the manager, was always told never in, never in. I asked for reimbursement as by the 2nd day I was ill which resulted in two visits to urgent care while on vacation. I also left behind my camera battery charger/battery asked for a room check. NEVER received return call on that either!

Location is quiet and out of the way. The drive in is littered with great scenery and wine stops galore. Calistoga main street is just around the corner for local eateries and great coffee. Nice amenities.

I don't understand how a hotel chain could allow such horrible mattresses. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and this hotel had the most horrible mattresses I've slept on in the last 25 years. So soft and non-supportive. Chiropractors only sanction supportive mattresses. Hotels must swap out mattresses often enough to keep them in good order. This hotel just turns their back on what is good practice. I woke in pain every morning. Even sitting on the bed was horribly painful.

Hotel gives you the feeling of the countryside and it's very cozy in the inside areas, great breakfast and there is even a Tesla support charger, for those who use Tesla hybrid cars. In the entrance they offer you fresh baked cookies and coffee.

Great service from the front desk, above most other properties we frequent. Rooms and facility are like new. We stayed only one night but would return to this property, all things given in the region. The front desk made several calls to make sure we had everything we need for our stay and to inform us of any issues that we would need to be aware of before our visit.

We spent a GREAT night at this hotel. First impression of the property was very favorable. Modern, clean appearance of the lobby, and mostly the greeting and check-in experience with the staff. They were friendly and professional. The room was well appointed and clean. Best of all, it was quiet. Even though it was close to the road, it was quiet. I think this is definely the place to stay in Calistoga and look forward to returning.

I work in the area since 2004 on business. Yes I can stay at some boutique hotels in the area:however, Best Western Stevenson Manor gives the great value. Save the $$ and use it towards the Napa Winery Experience.

Though located a quarter-mile from everything it is very walkable. Rooms were well appointed and very clean! The complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent. Along with typical offerings, there was a quiche, which was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We wanted to stay longer but the inn was full.

We have stayed in Calistoga many times and love the town and activities. How we missed this hotel as a choice in the past is something we do not have an answer to. This hotel was perfect for the two nights we stayed. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, very friendly staff. Enjoyed the pool use, hot tub, The best was the wide variety of choices available for breakfast. We hope to return again soon. Keep up the great work!

Quality, smaller size hotel, convenient location. Decent pool and tub, although both attract kids and noise. Breakfast was the normal boring food offered at all hotels. Nothing to brag about. Charming architecture. Easy convenient parking.

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond expectations of service! Rooms were comfortable and clean. Bathrooms have been recently updated. Beds were comfortable. Great location. Short pleasant walk into town! Enjoyed the jacuzzi, workout area and other amenities.

Staying at the Best Western was a restful easy experience. Staff was so helpful, polite and friendly.! Breakfast staff was the best. Food was just enough and a lot of choices. Room was clean, beds comfy and bathrooms large. All in all wonderful stay. Will stay again.

We were surprised at the location in relation to the wineries. Wineries were just a short drive from the hotel. Hotel was clean and updated. Workout room had adequate equipment and room was spotless.There were many great food places in walking distance. Staff was friendly and pleasant.

We were just here for one night but we it was a good stay. They have a great breakfast in the morning. The facility is nice and clean with comfortable beds. I especially liked the shower. The only negative that I would say is that the lobby closes at 11 pm.

We stayed here in mid December, the staff was very helpful and even offered 2 umbrellas for us to use to walk into town and to a couple of wineries. it was raining and we were having rental car trouble so they save the trip. the rooms are very nice and in a quite safe location.

The Stevenson is a great value for the Napa Valley. The decor is new and the room spacious. Plenty of parking and secluded enough for quiet. Highly recommend for a good value alternative to accommodations on hwy. 29 and less congested than the city of Napa.

The hotel is located in short walking to downtown Calistoga, nice clean comfortable room, friendly staff. The writer Stevenson did stay there indeed. Breakfast options are limited, it is better to have breakfast in town.

We have been there on our Napa Valley Winery tour. This was the best BW experience we had son far. The place was so well maintained that it looked newly built (though it isn't). The staff, the rooms, the pool area, the breakfast variety - just everything. Is it a more expensive BW? Yes but come on it's Napa Valley and excellent value! We come back again - Thnx

The room was exceptional, large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with eggs, quiche etc plus standard continental option. The pool and Jacuzzi area was neat and well maintained. Close to downtown but need to drive to shops and restaurants.

We were in Calistoga for a wedding. We were given many choices of where to stay. Most options were much more expensive than this Best Western. We absolutely made the right choice. We were greeted warmly by Sandra on our arrival. Check-in went very smoothly. There is a comfortable seating area with 2 computers in the lobby area. Our room, Room 215, was lovely. It was large, clean and comfortable. There was a gas fireplace that turned on easily with a timer switch. Our adult daughter slept on the sleep sofa. She said that it was very comfortable. Our king bed was also very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Each morning there was a different egg option. It was an easy walk to the many restaurants in downtown Calistoga. We would definitely stay here again.

Recently renovated property is very attractive and a great location. Be caredul where you park. Our car was keyed overnight. Very good service and full hot breakfast. Very attractive room with fireplace. Will return when weather will make fireplace desirable.

This Best Western Plus in Calistoga is the 'BEST"........the pool is fabulous; the breakfasts are excellent; the rooms are spacious and CLEAN.....great location just north of the town of Calistoga...within walking distance :)

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely friendly lady in reception . Even though we arrived earlier than check in we were allocated our rooms . Our room was on the ground floor overlooking the pool . Lovely clean modern room . Everything you needed was there . The pool area was lovely . Plenty of seating and sun loungers in the shade which was great as the temperatures were very high . The gymn was clean and well air conditioned . The hot tub was very hot . The hotel was just a short walk from Calistoga Main Street with a nice selection of restaurants and a couple of bars . The Napa valley is stunning . We managed to see what we wanted in our three days there . Overall an excellent short stay .

Hotel/pool was very attractive, extremely well maintained and clean. Staff was excellent, helpful and friendly. Free continental breakfast was very good and staff replenished items in a timely manner. My only suggestion would be that the double beds were a tad larger. They seemed to be more like large twin beds. Overall, a lovely experience.

Second time staying here and we were super happy with our stay. The room overlooking the pool was so clean and airy. The Breakfast is very good. One morning there was two crustless quiches to choose from mushroom or sausage. They were pretty darn delicious. Next morning there was scrambled egg and bacon. It really is a relaxing delight to stay here.

Great location and better than expected hotel. Very clean and brand new with good facilities at no extra cost. Pool was great with the added bonus of steam room, sauna and hot-tub. The breakfast was more than adequate for two hungry teenage sons with plenty of choice. It was an easy walk to the main drag of Calistoga, which is a great location in Napa Valley. Would highly recommend this as a base to stay when in the area. Much better than some higher-end hotels that we stayed in during our road trip around California.

We came to Calistoga to celebrate our daughter attaining her PhD. We had intended to arrive in the late afternoon, but didn't get on the road from Santa Clara until 8pm. We were beat and a bit discouraged when we arrived at 10:30pm. Then we met Sandra the wonderful lady at the desk. She welcomed us so warmly and so sweetly, we forgot our troubles. When we explained we hadn't had time to get dinner, she offered us some snacks from the breakfast supply. She had great recommendations for restaurants. Sandra made our evening. The property is located about two blocks from the center of town, easily walkable to shops and restaurants. Calistoga has that wonderful small town feel, which makes strolling very pleasant. Our room was on the second floor, which is accessible by stairs or elevator. The room is large and well appointed, with a king sized bed and a sofa sleeper that actually sleeps pretty well. The bathroom is wonderful with a large walk-in shower, and a beautiful sink area with lots of room to stow your toiletries. The room has two (!) luggage racks which is wonderful — I always wondered what hotel managers think the second guest in the room is going to do with their luggage. There is a gas fireplace, but since it is summer, we did not try it. The room is spotless and the maids do a great job servicing the room each day. The WiFi is incredibly fast for a hotel system. The desk is nice, but it does not have any USB outlets for charging devices and only one plug-in. There is a regular outlet in the wall next to the desk. The iHome clock radio has the plug-in for older iPhones, not the lightening plug-in. It does have a USB outlet in it. Breakfast is actually a pleasant meal. They have real plates and silverware instead of plastic silverware and paper plates. The eggs are made on sight, so they taste like scrambled eggs. The breads are fresh. The cook comes to visit the tables to make sure everything is good. The pool and hot tub are very nice. The pool deck is large with several tables and chairs, as well as outdoor couches. The hot tub and pool have good stairs with hand rails. There are also a sauna and a steam room, as well as a bathroom which has a shower for washing the chlorine off. In sum, this is a great property. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially Sandra!

Newly refurbished rooms are awesome - a great value (when I went) and perfect for walking to anywhere in Calistoga. Will return as soon as possible :)! Had many great meals next door at the Indian Springs restaurant. Went to several wineries in Calistoga - was a great spot!

Well there are a couple of things not to like. The most important is that they have only ONE luggage cart. It's a good luggage cart, but any other motel would have two or three or four. The next annoyance is that there isn't a light inside of the door when you come in. And that's where nook for the luggage racks is. I.e., there's not adequate light for your luggage. The fact that the room itself is light colored helps somewhat, so that it's not a total disaster. The other “bad news” was that the hot oatmeal was watery and not so hot. The good news is that a) they tried, b) there's all sorts of condiments for your oatmeal or other cereal, including frozen berries in the fridge, and c) they have both soy milk and almond milk. That is very rare in my experience. And if you're coming west on Lincoln, the sign says “Stevenson Manor” and not Best Western. For all I knew “Stevenson Manor” could have been senior housing. When we got to the other side of town, I had to use the phone to figure out it was a mile back. But when you're driving east, there is a Best Western sign. But all-in-all, it's quite an excellent place: The Décor is light and airy, there's a pool, hot tub, exercise room, sauna and steam room (I didn't try them). No tub in our room, just a shower without a grab bar. The elevator was a little tricky to find the first time. We had a large king-bed room with fridge and microwave and counter with a small sink, and two (two!) luggage racks. There were enough convenient electric outlets, but you wouldn't say plenty. I thought the lighting was a little skimpy, as noted above. The lobby is large, well lit, convenient seating with two computers. And breakfast was better than at most Best Westerns.

So much of the time in wine country is spent enjoying food and wine. Stay at this Best Western so most of your money can be spent on fun! It is competitively priced,watch for specials. Good for couples and friends trips. Not a resort property, simply a great stay. Very attractive building, 2 story with a very modern feel. Small complex with really nice and accommodating rooms. Clean and fresh. Our bed and pillows were so comfortable. Free breakfast was simple but good enough. The woman who checked us in was really great. I am sorry I don't remember her name. She was very informative about the area and helpful during our stay. Just off the Main Street in Calistoga. Great place to rest up for all the fun in the area.

We enjoyed our stay while at Bottlerock. The front desk called us to make sure we had a key upon arrival since they knew we were coming in late. We loved the outside area along with the sauna, steam room and hot tub area.

We had a handicapped room. Very large. Easy to get around lobby, grounds etc. Good selection for breakfast. Cookies upon check-in. Would definitely stay again. Just down the street from the hotels, etc but far enough away for quiet.

We were pleased with our one-night stay at the BW Plus in Calistoga. The hotel has recently been renovated, and it appeared to be brand new. It's very clean and modern, and the bed was very comfortable. The check-in staff member was efficient. The check-out staff member, Maria, was VERY helpful when we lost our carryon luggage (the rental car trunk popped open, and it fell out!!!). She knew we were distressed and guided us through the process of locking the devices over the Internet. The hotel's manager, Michele helped in this process and was very calm and reassuring. I had met her earlier in the day when she approached me, making sure that our stay had been a good one. Overall, we would definitely stay here again if we're in the area, and I would definitely recomment Stevenson Manor to friends.

Beautifully maintained property, lots of amenities, spotless inside and out. Nice front desk staff. warm chocolate chip cookies are a nice touch and great way to end the day with a sweet snack. Rooms were nicely appointed, comfortable beds, great bathroom/shower, once again spotless. Pool/spa area was also spotless with towels available and nice lounge chairs, tables/umbrellas and two nice sectional seating areas to have a glass of wine, etc. Love this property. Only place I will stay when visiting Calistoga as its a great location to downtown and the value is very good compared to other properties in the area. Great full breakfast as well.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel two nights in Calistoga on our wine trip. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast couldn't have been better! I recommend this hotel and will stay there again. Don't hesitate making a reservation here - it was great!

We stayed 4/6-4/9 and were pleasantly surprised. Easily the nicest Best Western we have seen. Our fireplace room was large, nicely updated and had comfortable bedding. The complimentary breakfast was above average for similar hotels, although choices were limited, what they had was good. Employees were extremely friendly throughout our stay. Walking distance to several good restaurants and downtown. Short drive to many wineries. The only negative was the walls were thin. Each night we could hear our neighbors on both sides too easily. Its not a 5 star hotel, but when you compare similar types of hotels, its a standout in its class. If we were staying in Calistoga again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed in Calistoga for three days to tour the wineries and celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. We had an excellent experience at the Best Western Plus; very friendly and helpful staff, a good breakfast to begin each day, a great hot tip/spa in which to relax each evening. A wonderful stay.

The hotel is cute and clean! The staff is sweet. It is right next door to indian hot springs and Sam's club, for a mineral soak and some great grub. The pool and spa are really nice too. The breakfast was AMAZING!

On a business trip I stayed at the Stevenson Manor for three nights. The rooms were recently renovated, clean and modernly furnished. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast supplied each morning gave a wide variety of options, always changing. The location is within walking distance of downtown, many restaurants, a stroll through Indian Springs (which is directly next door) all available to you. The wi-fi is not secure, however I found that after three evenings (of working) to be solid and steady.

I thought the price was a bit high, But they have a nice pool I saw a sauna and steam bath, I don't thing the steam room was working, Very nice fitness center, This Best Western is much nicer then others, So the price was not too high.The rooms are larger the other BW's The guide option on the remote works, were as at other BW's it doesn't, The wireless works good,

We booked only one night in Calistoga, bridging other plans, but ended up feeling sorry that we didn't spend more time at this hotel. The desk person, Sandra, was welcoming and very helpful in directing us to hiking sites and restaurants. And the breakfast was not just the usual fare, including two amazing fluffy quiche offerings that were better than in many fine restaurants. We would love to return!

Easy to find all the way through town, it sits on the corner with the entrance not on Lincoln. Now under going remodeling, it is a nice comfortable place to rest away from crowds and bustle of downtown. The rooms are well appointed with extras and have comfy beds and great pillows. The staff are all friendly and helpful. It has relatively few rooms, so make certain to make a reservation.

We stayed here in January 2017 and have stayed three more times in the past year (it's a convenient hotel for St Helena Hospital, offers a discount for hospital visits, too). They have been renovating the hotel this whole year and we are very impressed with the changes. The exterior is finished and now they are working on the rooms. The work is done between 9 am and 6 pm, so, for the most part, you are not affected by the noise since you are out and about at that time. Breakfast is great and the staff is friendly and helpful.

We stayed here as part of a wedding block of rooms in June, 2017. Truthfully, we normally do not stay at Best Western Hotel chains, but we were very surprised with our stay here. Calistoga is very small in general and the price you pay for the type of rooms in Calistoga are a bit over priced in our opinion. However, we felt the Stevenson Manor was definitely an exception. The rooms were newly renovated, nice size, clean and the property nicely situated - a little away from the actual center, but within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can't say anything positive for the breakfast in the morning, as the egg wontons were like hard boiled eggs inside an overcooked dry wonton. But this was in June, and I have read more current reviews so perhaps that has been rectified. Otherwise, our stay was very nice, quiet and welcoming! We would stay here again if coming to Calistoga.

Excellent location, exceptionally helpful friendly staff, Beautiful rooms, great views. Enjoyed the hot buffet, the won ton egg muffin first morning and the quiche next morning. A few blocks from cute fun downtown Calistoga with great restaurants, 10 minutes to culinary institute of America.and close to Napa. Tons of wineries, and spa's. Pool and spa is heated. Will definitely go back. This hotel was a treat.

Excellent! Loved the breakfast in the morning and really cured us when we needed it after a long night. The closeness to the wedding venue so super easy for us to get to! Beautiful views- we loved the steam room and hot tub too!

Walking distance to Sam's Social Club as well as downtown Calistoga. The facilities were updated, our room was very comfortable. Breakfast included was perfect. Free parking and a shuttle that will take you to the wineries in town.

The location and amenities are very good. It was our third stay in as many months since we have business in the area. We had the room with a balcony overlooking the pool / spa area. The room would be a ten if it had a fireplace too. We were able to watch part of the Xmas lighted truck parade from the balcony.

What a pleasant surprise to find such a clean, conveniently located, well staffed little gem. The breakfast was the best free hotel buffet we've ever had with real scrambled eggs, lots of healthy options, mini fresh waffles with real berry compote, sweets and good coffee. Ground were small but well appointed with a fountain and sitting area, pool and easy, close, free parking. Rooms were super clean and looked like they were a fresh remodel. The safe were genuinely friendly and real people, a pleasure to talk too. The price was lower than most other options so I think it is one of the best values in the area. It's location is exceptional as you can walk across the street to a great restaurant Sam's Social Club (great spot!) and around the block to the downtown shopping street. We rented bikes and did a wine tasting tour via bikes which was fun. Our hot air balloon plans got cancelled at 5:30am due to ground fog so that was bummer but we loved the Old Faithful Geyser for it's history and ability to bring in your wine for no charge, they even supple the opener and glasses! Overall had a great visit in Calistoga and this hotel was terrific.

This was one of the nicest Best Western hotels I have stayed in. The hotel lobby was clean and updated. The room was really nice, clean and updated with a balcony. The staff was very pleasant. The breakfast was one of the better ones I have had with a nice selection not your typical hotel breakfast. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit wine country.

The service was very good. The breakfast was of good quality with a fair amount if options. It was pricey, so I expected the hotel to be good, and it did not disappoint. The place has been renovated since I last spent time there, and it looks better because of it!

Just got back from a trip to Napa Valley. We stayed at the Stevenson Manor and it could not have been better. The beds were wonderful, rooms clean and breakfast just fine. We were able to walk to restaurants and an easy drive up from Napa. So glad we didn't cancel our trip...so many posts here that said...don't come til December...in the city proper no visual damage..and everyone we saw said...thank you for coming. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and clean, quiet and really nice staff. Clean pool and lots of choices for breakfast. My family loved our stay here. We walked to town and enjoyed great restaurants and shops (easy walk). This is the right size to provide great service.

We've stayed here 3 or 4 times over the years because we can count on a clean and quiet property, convenient location, and good breakfast. We don't splurge on a wine country hotel because we spend so little time in the room. Save that money for wine purchases and fantastic meals!

We were to stay for four nights at the hotel last week but had to leave due to the fires. The time we spent there was nice. The rooms have a lot of space and recently upgraded. The sunday night the fires broke out they kept us well informed but we had to leave the next morning. Thank you for being concerned for our safety.

$300 a night for a very average room, 2 tiny thin towels, and the room not ready at check in time. Understand Calistoga on October weekends can be expensive, but this was absurd. Due to room not being available at check in time we were late to a wedding event, the whole reason for our trip and why we were paying the outrageous amount for the room. Requests for more towels ignored for 3 days.

We stopped here for two night on our recent vacation. The hotel is very modern and clean. The staff are very friendly and the rooms a large and clean. It is only a short walk from the town centre where there are loads of restaurants and there are also wine tasting rooms which belong to the local wineries. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

Have stayed here many times and really like to total remodel. We were wowed by the transformation well done. Also heard when we were there that the rooms are next ( not that they need it ) This hotel is a Napa Valley value. Great staff!

We usually stay at a favorite "chain hotel", but chose this because it was in a good location and reasonably priced. We were so happy with our stay here. It had an intimate feeling, it was so fresh and clean appearing, especially the lobby and breakfast area. The pool and hot tub were amenities we rarely use, but we did here because of ease of access and perfect shade from beautiful trees. The breakfast was wonderful as was our room. The location was great in the wine country, and the town of Carlsburg had many nice options for dinner in the evening.

We highly recommend Stevenson Manor for your Calistoga stay. Very happy with this hotel in all respects. Large rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hot breakfast buffet was wonderful! (really enjoyed the wonton egg cups!) The staff was very friendly and helpful. We ended up staying here four nights total, moving back for our final night!

We checked in at 4:30 pm after a long day of driving. Check in was quick and easy and the desk clerk was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was on the second floor (thankfully they do have an elevator) overlooking the pool. The room had a king bed with night stands, TV, fireplace, desk with chair, dresser, small couch with coffee table, one upholstered chair, a nice size closet, two luggage racks, sink, microwave, small fridge and coffeemaker. They really need a floor lamp near the chair for a reading area. The bathroom was roomy with dual sinks and adequate counter space, a combo tub and shower and a nice quiet evacuation fan. It's well situated in Calistoga, within walking distance from the downtown area. The pool is very nice and has an adjacent hot spa. They also feature a fitness center with four machines and free weights. Their complimentary breakfast is very good and the lady in charge features a different main dish each day. Depending on the room, you do get some traffic noise from Lincoln Avenue but nothing that really bothered us.

This is a gem in the expensive Napa Valley. We have stayed in more expensive hotels in past visits whose rooms are not nearly as nice and who do not offer breakfast. Stevenson Manor offers a wonderful hot breakfast, good coffee, and very nicely appointed rooms. Would stay here again and would recommend it. It's just at the edge of town but not far to walk to restaurants in town. There was a very friendly host at the desk who helped when needed.

Welcoming staff, clean room, comfortable bed, great pool/hot tub area. I stayed with a few friends for a spa day for my birthday and we had a great stay. The staff were wonderful, the room clean and perfectly sized and the location was great, right next door a spa for treatments and off the main strip. Thanks!

We had a comfortable one night stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was appetizing and the entire facility was immaculate. The public areas have undergone major renovations which are very nice. The location of the property is especially great for access to Calistoga and St Helena.

This is a really nice place to stay while in Calistoga. It is within walking distance of the main street in town. We were put in a standard room right behind the fountain and next to the pool, which turned out to be very noisy. The next day we moved to an upstairs room where we had a very nice quiet night's sleep. The rooms are large, have microwaves, refrigerators and a nice coffee machine. Breakfast is included with great selections from eggs, sausage/bacon, waffles, hot and cold cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful so we would return and recommend this place..

Very nice room and an excellent breakfast, convenient location in Napa Valley, right on main road. We have stayed in many hotels along our 26 night western trip from Indiana and this was the nicest stay yet. They met every need and expectation.

My husband and I traveled to Calistoga in order for him to photograph the Louie Vermeil Classic at Calistoga Speedway. While in Calistoga, we stayed at the Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor. The hotel was centrally located and just a few minutes from town and the track. The accommodations were very nice and the atmosphere quiet and serene. The breakfast was good, with the home-made vegetarian quiche delicious. The staff was very helpful and assisted us with any of our inquiries. Due to an apparent problem with the system, an issue did arise about a wake-up call. But, management was quick to respond and address the situation. I would recommend staying at this Best Western!

Our room was spacious and clean with a massive bed and good facilities. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Best of all is the pool area which had plentiful well maintained sunbeds, seats and comfortable furniture to relax on. The complimentary breakfast was also good. The location is within a short walk of Calistoga centre.

This Best Western has been completely renovated since our last stay 3 years ago. Rooms are very clean; good beds and showers. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are nicely done with a very comfortable BK room. Great location for northern NAPA wine country.

I finally got a vacation and it was important that I booked a hotel that was at least decent especially for my wife comfort. We booked a room in BW in beautiful Caistoga, Ca. not knowing what to expect. Man what a relief, as soon as I was greeted by gentleman at front desk I knew this hotel was special. The modern design of the hotel, the cleanly indoor and outdoor areas was impressive. Our room was spotless and comfortable I well recommend this Best Western to everyone.

This is the best BW plus we have stayed at. It is completely modern, clean, beautiful and has a great location. It reminds us of a European hotel with the design quality. The rooms were spacious, had a fireplace and a sofa with refrigerator and microwave. The breakfasts were very nice with hot food, real plates and good coffee service. It was also close to town with an easy 10 minute walk. Highly recommended.

Great location for our family trip for a wine wedding. The front desk was so welcoming and remembered our name every time we walked in. Seemed more like a B & B than a chain hotel. Very welcoming. Breakfast was more than your standard hotel food. Beds were so comfortable and we all slept very well.

The hotel in Calistoga is nicely done. The lobby is very up to date and the rooms are getting there. This Best Western Plus is a "boutique' style hotel now. I would come back and stay again and recommend it to others. Location is great with respect to wineries and restaurants. Breakfast was provided and it was good. Everyone was very friendly and helpful from the time we arrived until we left. Sandy and Cody at the front desk were exceptional and made our stay enjoyable. They are both so friendly and helpful. We have stayed at Stevenson Manor several times. Last year, the hotel was under renovation. What a lovely surprise. The lobby was totally remodeled with modern and bright accessories. The breakfast offered many options for every palette. One morning, Kim offered to make us sausage, since there was none left when we arrived. A very nice person with great customer service skills. I would like to offer a suggestion for the room renovations coming soon. The only downside of our stay was the noise coming from the room next door where a child was yelling and running at 5:30 AM. Soundproofing the walls might alleviate this problem.

I had never been to the Napa Valley. The Best Western made my stay very pleasant. Josh was the name of the front desk clerk that checked us in and he gave us a map and suggestions on where to eat. Very helpful!

After searching online unsuccessfully for more "unique" bed and breakfast-type places, we were amazed to find the BW Stevenson Manor, which appears brand new and freshly appointed. Our room had a mountain view and fireplace. Hot breakfast with bacon, eggs, self-made waffles, etc. included in the price: $225/night. I thought it was a great price for a really nice property.

Went here for a much needed get-away. I enjoyed this quaint little hotel. The pool area was my favorite. Staff very professional and friendly. The pillows on the bed were a little uncomfortable but hotel pillows usually are :) Would definitely return!

Stayed at this hotel for two nights in July with my 80 year old Mom while wine tasting. Extremely pleased. Location close to downtown meant we could park and then walk to shopping and food in darling downtown Calistoga. Had a room on the main floor, so no issues with access. Hot days driving around Napa, so the pool was a welcome respite at the end of the day. Beautiful pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room were clean and quiet. Breakfast is included and was clean, good-tasting, healthy choices like fruit and oatmeal, and a hot eggy entree. Service was excellent. Will come back to this hotel.

The staff here is Amazing from the Front desk to Breakfast and Housekeeping, they go out of there way to make you feel Welcomed , I know everyone experience is different but this has been the first Best Western I have stayed at that I actually enjoyed ! It's Walking distance to lots a of food choices and very close to Amazing wine tours!! I recommend walking through the town it's beautiful and has lots of neat stores.

My girlfriend and I recently attended a wedding in Calistoga and had a wonderful experience at the Best Western Stevenson Manor. Sandra and team were wonderful during the check-in and check-out process and throughout our stay, the hotel was beautiful and within walking distance of downtown Calistoga, and our room was great. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the Napa area!

We stayed here for a wedding. Hotel has been updated mostly on the outside. They are still in the process of updating all the rooms. Sandra at the front desk and Mary at the breakfast parlor made our stay AMAZING. Thanks for all ladies :)

Friendly Staff, great rooms, affordable price. Pool was at a great temperature, not too cold and very clean all over the property. The location is also a huge bonus. My husband and I walked downtown and it took us 5 minutes. I would definitely stay here again.

A completely remodeled Best Western in Calistoga within walking distance of downtown. The only problem was the air conditioning fixed vent blew directly onto the bed. We took care of by turning the bedside table sideways. We told the front desk upon departure so hopefully they will install a movable vent.

Excellent location for your trip to the wine country. Highly recommended. Very nice motel with clean, spacious, well-appointed room for the price point. Friendly check-in staff with lots of tips on seeing the area and helpful with dining and planning the rest of our trip. The breakfast was quite good and the area kept fastidiously clean. Courtyard recently remodeled into a cute atrium lobby/dining area - nicely gardened. Excellent hotel in a convenient location. Quiet, comfortable and clean. definitely would stay again and recommend to others.

We were fortunate to find the Stevenson Manor in expensive Napa County in the wine country. But the great value of this hotel made it all worth it. Hot tub, internet access and its great layout kept the sound of nearby traffic hidden and pleasurable.

Never thought I'd be giving a good review to a Best Western, but this was a nice, newer property, just a 5 minute walk to town (and about 2 minutes to Indian Springs). The rooms were modern - we especially liked the large walk-in glass shower instead of the more typical tub shower in most hotels. Breakfast was fairly typical, but adequate. Nice workout facility with a little more equipment than usual. Room was clean and well-cared for. My only complaint is that the lobby is locked until 7:00 in the morning, so an early riser has no place to go to read the complimentary paper, check emails, etc., while my late-rising wife sleeps in. All in all a great value and good location.

This was our first stay here. From previous reviews, it sounds like they have been renovating the hotel and upgrading their breakfast selections. I would say those things have been a success. I thought the lobby and courtyard were lovely and our room had the kind of amenities I expect at a small boutique hotel rather than a chain. I have stayed in a lot of hotels but have never had a reason to write a glowing review of the breakfast: we had a new item, a house made quiche, that was phenomenal! I very much appreciated the selection of healthy choices as well. But even more impressive was the true hospitality and friendliness of every employee we met. I think we got our money's worth and then some.

Sandra and her crew show a cohesive professional and friendly environment. What hotel has fresh baked cookie to greet their customers? The breakfast was incredible and had a huge variety of foods. The pool was always clean. The have a terrace with running water where we met our friends from the bay area and sat outside for a few drinks.

We stayed at BW to save money while traveling for a wedding. The other hotels and B&Bs offered were much more expensive. After our experience, I wish we would have paid extra for a more satisfactory stay. Our room had small spiders crawling throughout the bedroom and bathroom. A light bulb was out in the bathroom. The breakfast items were not freshly prepared. The staff provided helpful, yet standard, accommodations. Next time we will invest in a more personal experience while traveling to Calistoga.

Wow! Not good. The process of making the reservations was extremely difficult. We reserved a balcony room for two nights however when we arrived we were told we were going to have a handicapped room on the ground floor with no balcony. We were told we might be able to get a balcony room for the second night but that would require us moving which was impossible since we were going to be at the racetrack. The rooms are a little bit smelly and don't plan on getting much sleep because the walls and floors are very thin. You hear everything going on at this hotel. They indicated they have free breakfast but when we arrived in the breakfast area they were out of coffee, waffles, all of their breakfast items, milk, And the place was a mess. The one lady working there was working extremely hard but they had her in there by herself on a busy weekend. She was doing the very best she could The property is what you would expect from an extremely low rate budget hotel as far as the rooms are concerned. One positive thing about the hotel is the bed was reasonably comfortable.

I was overly impressed with the quality of the hotel in every detail. As well the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable including waiting on hold for over 20 minutes to arrange for a tour reservation at the Castello di Amorosa. The breakfast was not the usual BW spread, but instead A+ variety of items to fulfill the needs of any particular eater. This has to be the best place to stay in Calistoga.

We stayed 3 nights in a king bed suite at this BW and were very pleased with the 2nd floor accommodations. The room was large, clean, had consistently good wifi, Seattle Best in-room coffee, a microwave, refrigerator, good water pressure, and was reasonably quiet. The bed, however, was not that comfortable and the available lighting left a little to be desired. The breakfast included a different hot egg dish each day along with a waffle maker, cereals, breads, and yogurts. The staff did a good job of keeping the offerings replenished. Unlike many hotels / inns, the coffee here was excellent. Check-in and out was quick and efficient with a friendly and courteous staff. Stay here.

The room was simple but very nice and clean with a balcony, coffee machine and a fridge and even provided wine glasses. The pool was nice. Location is fantastic if you are looking to do wine tastings. Breakfast was very nice

Nice place, really good value, great outdoor heated pool, steam room and jacuzzi! Smooth check-in, express check out, lots of parking space. Breakfast selection is a bit basic, but there's everything you might need to kick start your day: cereals with all sorts of healthy add ons, omelette, oats (my personal favorite), fresh waffles (my son's favorite), fruit, toasts, coffee and tea. Close to all the wineries and some of the best dining. Totally recommended !

The hotel was very nice but I was on the first floor and you can hear every footstep from the room above. The guests above me sounded like they had guests and I got very little sleep. I recommend the hotel only if you can get a 2nd floor room.

Upon my rather late check in the guests below had loud thumping music playing that not only was too loud but vibrated the floor. The front desk addressed it and they lowered it slightly and resumed it at 6am

For the las 3 years my wife my brother and his wife we take advantage of the pasaporte in Calistoga Ca For Wine testing and we find this jewel on the heart of the action Remodeling room, sauna, steam Free breakfast very affordable on the month of January and the first week of February just love it

The hotel was clean and comfotable. However, the breakfast does not start until 7 am. And, even at 7 am, the breakfast was not ready as the hostess seemed pre-occupied with talking to guests she knew. Apparently, she was moving out of state and was saying "good-bye". Otherwise, I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

I stayed at this property in March and the grounds were under renovation. I was so pleased with the final result when I arrived again a couple of days ago. This was an overnight "girl's" get away. We were greeted at the front desk by Sandy who had a big grin and welcoming demeanor. She represents the property well and was a delight when I met her in March as well. Our room was as represented and the pool area was so peaceful. We brought some afternoon snacks and wine and played cards and visited leisurely. The breakfast is very sufficient and organized and the weather gave us the opportunity to take our food into a courtyard off the dining area. Once again, all was peaceful, clean and serene. I would suggest dining around the corner at Sam's Social Club. It's a Calistoga institution that offer wonderful cocktails, indoor and outdoor dining and great food. I hope to return to this lovely place again soon.

A nice rest stop in Calistoga close to a little center where we could find some charming restaurants. The staff all over the wine country is unbelievably knowledgeable and kind, making our experience a memorable one.

Not knowing Napa Valley, Stevenson Manor was a great choice. The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel was recently refurbished. Calistoga was a nice town with good access to the vineyards of Northern Napa valley. The breakfast was good, with more variety than typical in similar situations.

Havestated here in and off for many years. It is a quiet(usually) getaway that is a walkable distance to the entire town of Calistoga. There is a nice pool and an adequate breakfast. Worth staying here.

Room was great with a mountain view and fireplace. Loved the fact that they have a steam and dry sauna, whirlpool and heated pool. The only issue that I had is that the hotel is not fully active until 07:00 AM (i.e., saunas do not work, hotel lobby is locked and you need to knock on the door for it to be opened)

The website needs to be updated as the exterior I found online isn't what it looked like. They had a fitness center, which was a nice surprise as that wasn't mentioned on the website either. Over all it was clean, comfortable and walking distance to shops and restaurants.

A great hotel in a beautiful location. The staff was warm and caring. The hotel is in the middle of a part of NAPA valley that has some interesting wine tours. Castello di Amorosa is about three miles from the front door. The breakfast was good and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was roomy and updated. Don't forget to try some of the local fare. We had organic ice cream that was a real hit with the group. Fire places in the room also.

we stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The hotel has been modernised with a very nice and bright lobby. The staff were very helpful. No noise problems, nice pool, great breakfast. Others in our party stayed at other local hotels and this was the best for the price range. Avoid Carlin Cottages! Would return to the BW if in Calistoga again

This hotel offers everything you need, great breakfast, clean rooms, nice pool/spa area with umbrellas and nice patio furniture. Excellent location to town and amenities. Recently remodeled outside and looks very nice and updated. Staff helpful and friendly.

Within walking distance from shops & restaurants, nice & clean, complimentary breakfast was good, but walls are paper thin. Had children next door to us and we could hear EVERYTHING! From their blow up mattresses to them signing songs at 11p.m. & then right before they went swimming at 9am.

Calistoga is an expensive place, but this hotel was great! Free breakfast in the foyer, nothing fancy but all you need, cereals juice toast etc. A nice pool and hot tub, and a gym. Not a fancy place but clean and easy to find. I would definitely recommend it!

We wanted to stay in Calistoga on this trip and this hotel had the best price by far we could find. The room was nice, breakfast was good and the hot tub and steam sauna were just what we needed after a long drive. They are finishing up a renovation so it will be even nicer the next time we stay.

The place was nice and clean and the attendants at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We were disappointed to find out that the bus does not run on Sundays to the wineries and that was the only day we were there - so take note. The bathrooms are VERY dark. Women take note - you can't hardly see to put on makeup or do your hair. They really need to get this fixed. Bathrooms should be bright and cheery. The breakfast was great and the room was quiet and faced a pasture so no cars driving by the room. I would definitely recommend this place except for the bathroom lighting. The pool and hot tub looked nice but we didn't use it.

Affordable, clean, free breakfast, small refrigerator/sink area in a good sized room. Bathroom is spacious and includes a jacuzzi tub and separate glassed in shower stall. Fresh fruit always available along with chocolate chip cookies at the front desk. Easy, short walk into town.

Found this hotel on Expedia. It had good reviews but was skeptical because it was a Best Western. The hotel was fine. The rooms could use some upgrading. There was construction going on but it wasn't noticeable regarding noise. Location was great walking proximity to the restaurants and shops on Lincoln Ave. the free breakfast buffet was a combination of a few hot items and cold items. Had to settle fir a king; was told the property doesn't have many doubles. Did not use the sauna or pool.

Seems like each room here has been recently remodeled. I had a balcony room on the back facing the mountains. Just a okay view. But you could walk to Sam's Social Club and very nice high end restaurant. the free morning breakfast was very adequate. I would stay here again.

The BW+ Stevenson Manor was a nice place. It was small and easy to find, and only a short walk from a main drag in Calistoga. The rooms were nice, the complimentary breakfast was good, and the service was good. The construction outside was a little of an eyesore, but it only means they are trying to improve and it's hard to fault them for that. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to a friend.

After motoring north from San Francisco we arrived in the Napa Valley and headed straight for Calistoga for our lodgings, Stevenson Manor, the region has a connection to Robert Lewis Stevenson, with a state park named in his honour, he stayed the Valley in 1880 after his honeymoon. The staff were very welcoming, and great during the two night stay, the hot breakfast, scramble eggs and sausage included, was more than enough to start the day sightseeing. The property in quite new, and has a resort feeling about it, we were aware before arriving that some work was still being carried out, this was limited to 9AM to 5PM, and since we were out most of the time this really did not detract from our stay. An added benefit is that Sam's Social Club restaurant is right next door

Pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Excellent price point with very clean room, good amenities and free breakfast! The staff was ver friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the midst of renovation..No loud noise. But our bathroom sink faucet had low flow when we arrived. We mentioned it to the front desk and they quickly addressed the issue! Restaurants and coffee shops were close by and within walking distance. Highly recommended!

When I was searching for places to stay in Calistoga, I was blown away by how expensive places were. This Best Western seemed doable. It had a great location on the edge of downtown, close to restaurants (right next door to Sam's Club), shopping, groceries, outdoor market. We could walk everywhere. Didn't move the car for the three days/nights we spent there. I loved the spa pool. One night I went out just before bed to soak in the warm water. I took off my earrings and watch by the side of the pool, and then forgot them along with my room key (but didn't figure this out until the next morning). I was frantic because the watch, while not expensive, had belonged to my mother. The next morning, while we were at breakfast (also excellent), the earrings and watch had been returned to our room. It will be the integrity and kindness of the staff that I will remember most among an array of excellent amenities.

We were very pleased with our experience, so much that we extended our stay! Every area of the hotel is very clean. The beds are so comfortable - I don't remember having a better nights sleep away from home. It was also quiet and although there was minor construction happening, it was not an interference at all. Good rates for the area and the location is excellent. We will stay again next time!

This is a very nice hotel in a fun little town in wine country. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the area is lovely. Breakfast wasn't exceptional, but was fine.

A friendly hotel with nice rooms, centrally located in Calistoga, a few minutes' walk from the town centre. No restaurant at the hotel, but a good choice within walking distance. A good complimentary breakfast was served every morning in the newly decorated reception area. The local bike shop provides winery visits on bike, so park your car at the hotel and enjoy some exercise and good wine.

This was a great place to stay on our day trip to the Napa area! They had the best continental breakfast I've ever had and the staff was very friendly. They are currently under construction, but it wasn't a big deal.

Hotel was under construction. We were NEVER told of this. It was incredibly LOUD the entire weekend. The workers were there both Saturday and Sunday. Definitely NOT a relaxing weekend with workers outside your door. PLUS they blew the leaves outside our window at the pool EARLY Saturday morning!

Public areas under construction 9AM/5PM. Work should be finished in 6 weeks. Was not a problem, unless you like to sleep till noon. New reception and breakfast area. Bright and airy with good breakfast items available. Waffles, eggs, breakfast meats, juice, etc.

As long as you are focusing on the Calistoga area, then you may as well stay in town. The town is so easy to walk. The Stevenson Manor is right at the edge of town and convenient to the Cal-Mart store, restaurants, etc... They are doing some renovation, which means nice rooms, but there is some day time noise. They may be done by now. Simple but good breakfast included.

We have stayed here before and have always appreciated the location, the rooms, and the service. Sandra, the manager is great! Helpful, friendly, accommodating. Wanda, the breakfast queen, was also great! Food selections were always refilled, great selection, and tasty! The coffee they have there is very good! The new lobby/breakfast area is very nice - we were able to watch Sunday night football with our large group and enjoy our snacks and wine! The rooms are a decent size, and some are quite large! The place is a short walk into town and close to the Oat Hill mine trails. If the weather is good, they are worth the exploration!

Not a bad place, just in the middle of a full renovation. The lobby has been completed with the rooms still to be done. Rooms definitely in need of facelift. Probably the most money I've ever spent for a Best Western, probably due to the great location in Napa.

We stayed for 4 nites and enjoyed it. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The small kitchenette in the room was helpful and the refrig actually had a freezer, which is a rare find in most hotel rooms. The breakfast was good and there were plenty of food options available. The construction going on was advised on their website, but it did not affect us at all. You can walk into Calistoga in about 5 minutes from the hotel.....there are lots of great restaurants and nice shops in town. The price may seem a bit high for a Best Western, but being in wine country all the hotels are pricey. Comparatively, I felt the room rates were reasonable.

We arrived to find construction at this hotel which I was told I missed on the website 8 months ago when our reservation was made. The room (207) was clean if a little dark and faced the pool and Lincoln Avenue. Pool noise was moderate and the road noise was tolerable at night when sleeping. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with hot eggs, bacon or sausage, and fresh made waffles. Parking was very scarce in the evening partially due to construction trailers in the parking lot. So I suppose my main gripe was the construction and the room cost of over $260 per night. This is a rather small hotel and I imagine it will be nice when all the dust settles... Even still, I thought that the hotel was well overpriced for what it is.

Stayed over in July when the entire central courtyard was going through a massive refurb. Didnt look the greatest. Rooms were decent and sizeable however. Is a short walk from the town centre. Place was a lot smaller than how it looked in the photos. Prices were exorbitant, didn't think it warranted it as nothing about the place really stood out.

The hotel is clean and fine but it is the most over priced hotel I have ever stayed in in my entire life. IT's basic the property is under construction so the appearance is not good the pool area is not nice, very little parking so you have to park on the street and no real strong amenities that make it worth the cost. Spend $40 more and stay at a real luxury property in the are this is not worth your time or money.

Although undergoing renovations, this place is still great! The front staff were helpful and efficient. The rooms are extremely spacious and well equipped. Very quiet. The breakfast had hot and cold items and included bacon/sausage and eggs, Greek yogurt and fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereal, hot oatmeal and waffle maker. The breakfast room was renovated and bright. The woman who made the breakfasts did a tremendous job. There were treats and apples at the front desk and one afternoon we were treated to freshly baked cookies. There was always coffee and water. Walking distance to the wine tasting rooms downtown and to the Oat Hill Mine Hike. We would stay there again. There was a pool that looked nice but we never used.

We stayed for a single night while wine tasting in the Napa. The rooms were great! Spacious and very well appointed. Breakfast was included which was minimal in selection but adequate. The receptionists were very helpful. Best Westerns are always pretty trustworthy as a good solid place to stay. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely go back!

We traveled with friends here to visit beautiful Napa Valley. Our friends had booked this hotel for both of us saying they had stayed here before and it was nice. Upon arrival we saw massive construction work being done. According to the front desk this was supposed to have been finished a month ago. But they are no where near being done. They even said they were having a hard time getting permits and did not know if it would take weeks or months to complete! But the rooms themselves were clean. They even had HD reception on the TV which was nice. This property is in a good location as well. The wifi does NOT work well with Apple products, we could not even log on. My suggestion would be to find the best rate before arrival. Our friends booked our rooms with Costco Travel at $195.00 a night. I looked at my phone and the AAA rate was $159.00, when I showed them the discrepancy, they refused to honor the AAA rate since we had already booked the room at the higher rate. I would stay here again ONLY after they get these issues resolved.

This is a nice hotel in the downtown area of Calistoga... Room very nice & spacious, very clean , comfortable bed & pillows ... Breakfast good , staff very friendly & accommodating ..only complaint is it was under construction & pretty noisy during the day

The Stevenson Manor was very convenient to down town Calistoga. Breakfast was ample with several options. The hotel is going through extensive renovations which will hopefully improve the facilities. The exterior appears pretty run-down but the interior was nice.

We stayed here on a weekend and even though the hotel was having a major remodell (inside courtyard and corridors) it was quiet and no inconvenience. Our room was very nice and clean and the bathroom was big and clean. The free breakfast had lots of choices (the best of any Best Western I 've stayed at). The pool was nice also. The hotel is a short walk to downtown Calistoga's resturants and shops. The minus to staying here is that there is just the hotel and parking lot, no grounds or landscaping but it is a good value for Napa Valley.

I was very disappointed in the quality and value of this property. We had 3 rooms: the first smelled very musty on arrival, the second had a pervious guests toenail clippings on the bathroom floor that weren't even caught on the second days cleaning, and the third room had an ironing board set up in the middle of the room when we checked in. One of our bath towels was visibly dirty and all of the bath towels were thread bare. At this price point we expected more....there's no "plus" in this Best Western property. It's also under a major renovation, which didn't effect us on the weekend, but may have during the week. The only thing this property has going for it is the short walk into town...but there are other places to stay and next visit to Calistoga we will be at one of them.

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Stevenson Manor during our last trip to Calistoga, and we did not even consider staying elsewhere, even when advised that the hotel was undergoing some construction, including the addition of a much-needed elevator. This is a property that listens to its customers and responds accordingly--another reason why we like it so much. So, we booked here once again for our recent three-night stay in Calistoga, and we were extremely pleased with our stay. The entire staff here, from the front desk to the woman who oversees breakfast, to the cleaning staff are welcoming, friendly, efficient and helpful. The new breakfast room is lovely, and this is by far one of the best included breakfasts that we have seen in our travels! The coffee is outstanding and there are many healthy selections each morning. The lobby offers a Keurig coffeemaker , available until around 10:30 PM., cookies (they go quickly), and fresh fruit. Self-parking onsite is free. The pool was open during construction, and we were able to enjoy the pool, the gym, and the steam room during our stay. Everything was well-kept and clean. Our room, which was on the second level, had a king bed, sofabed, fireplace, refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, wine glasses, and a corkscrew. We had previously stayed on the first level, in a room that had two beds, no fireplace, but the other amenities.. The room was exceptionally comfortable and felt very roomy. The television offers a wide selection of channels. Wifi is free. We love the location also. It is close enough to walk to all the restaurants, shops, and spas on Lincoln Avenue, without being in the center of all the traffic. We enjoy being able to leave the car behind so we can stroll down the Avenue to find a place to eat. Plus, it is an easy drive to many fine wineries throughout the area. This place is perfect for families, and for both leisure travel and business travel. I think we liked it even more the second time around, because it felt so familiar and comfortable. This is a place that I HIGHLY recommend if one is looking for a comfortable home base in wine country, wants to stay in charming Calistoga, but does not want to stay at one of the combination hotel/spas.

A convenient location to the downtown area with a nice country ambience. Current remodeling efforts should only enhance someone's experience with Calistoga. The feeling was like staying at a private residence..

The room are extremely outdated as far as the decor. Curtains torn, very dark and smelled musty. The entrance is very difficult to find while under renovation. We circled the area twice. If referencing to the area of Napa Valley, the hotel would fall very short of any expectation.

In process of extensive and sensitive renovation which when finished will enhance the premises hugely. Great large suite with own gas fire. Big good bed. Room smart. Typical breakfast arrangement with range of cereals, pastries, coffee and waffle maker for eating in the small dining room or for taking back to the room. Just few mins from beautiful high street and great selection of bars and restaurants

the hotel was fine. clean room and large bathroom. the town is cute like a step back in time ! would recommend this hotel . we had 2 rooms . we enjoyed the hotel and the town. cute breakfast restaurant and all seasons restaurant for lunch delicious .

We had to use this hotel for a extra night in area. We'd stayed before. They are redoing the lobby etc. Let me say the day staff was great. Rooms are very nice and up to date. Bed comfortable. Internet and good morning breakfast. Very clean. Nice place. BUT, the room above our first floor room sounded like they had a herd of cattle. At about 10:30, I went to front desk, thinking they would check. I'm thinking you can't do that much walking at 10:30. Unless you are working out!!! I was told, well the walls are thin!! SO IF you stay hear, get the room above!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spent a weekend here. Pros - breakfast area was nice. Scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, fruits, etc. Con - the room! Walls are thin, can hear the people upstairs walking around. The worse thing is noisy AC which was next to the bed so it would generate a loud noise when it turned on. Since it was practically your nightstand it would blow right into your face while you sleep. So every time the AC kicked on, I woke up and I am not a light sleeper. When the AC was off, room got really hot so you alternate between hot and cold all night plus the noise. Essentially two nights of no sleep. Not a fan and won't be back for that.

Good location. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Good AC. Good Wifi.Pretty stark basic room furnishing. Looks like they got their furniture from a garage sale. They were doing construction which didn't effect my stay. Over priced but that is Napa for you. Basic amenities. Usual motel breakfast fare.

Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. It was our first time in Calistoga and hotel staff guide us around when ever we go back to Calistoga will definitely book with Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor again.

This stop for the night was in the middle our wine tasting week. This hotel is really in a nice spot. Within minutes of good dining and bars. Even though the place was currently under construction at the time it was still a pleasant stay.

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. It is currently under renovation in the court yard. We stayed on a Wed & Thurs night. The hotel did inform me prior to our stay of the construction. We opted to stay anyway. Our room was very nice, and the pool (renovated last year during our stay) was lovely. This hotel is walking distance of every Calistoga restaurant. Also, we visited 5 wineries along the Silverado Trail that were within 10 minutes of the hotel...so we didn't get caught up in all the Wine Tasting Traffic!

The room was very spacious. The layout was nice. The bathroom was good. The bed was comfortable. They had free breakfast which included eggs, sausage, waffles, and some continental choices. No charge for parking. I was pretty impressed really. I'd stay here again.

This hotel could be considered "boutique." The location was easy to find, on a main road and walking distance to downtown Calistoga. The room was comfortable with extras such as wine glasses and a corkscrew. The hotel was undergoing renovations but we were not bothered by noise or work crew.

I've stayed at this hotel several times and have always had a great experience. The rooms are big and very clean! The pool area is lovely with a nice jacuzzi, sauna and fitness room. And the breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold food. Finally, the location is fantastic! It's right outside of the center of town within walking distance and a few minutes away from the Silverado Trail.

While being promised by staff upon booking construction would be complete by the time of our stay - it was in full swing. Check out attached photos -the place was seriously overrun by construction work. Breakfast was very basic - eggs and toast in a warming tray, some tea and coffee, orange juice - the type of breakfast you would expect at a roadside motel. If your looking for a retreat - which I expect most folks visiting Sonoma are, then this is certainly not the place to stay. If they promise construction will be complete - I wouldn't trust that. (July '16).

The renovation should result in a much lower cost to stay here. The hotel is not very conducive for a pleasant stay. The lobby and rooms look rather run down and is not very fresh feeling. We were disappointed that a BW Plus was in this condition as we have stayed in many in the past and were very pleased with them.

Good hotel if looking for reasonable rate for a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay in Calistoga. Breakfast provided is great to have as a start to the day. Your choice of scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal with fixings, yogurt, fruit and toast. Coffee, milk and juice. Pool area is small but nice and not bad place to relax in the sun or eat breakfast in the morning. Location is walking distance to shops and restaurants along Lincoln Ave.

Nice clean best western in a good location. I was unsure about where to stay in Napa Valley but I found this little gem. A 5 minute drive from Castello di Amorosa which is beautiful and is a must see, also a 5 minute walk from the Calistoga downtown area which has some good restaurants and bars for the evening time. Room was surprising large and comfortable with a good shower, self service laundry facilities on site which is perfect for getting a quick wash in on a one night stay. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good with decent coffee which set Me up for the day. All in all a very good place to stay in Napa Valley.

Beautifully appointed room with all of the quality necessities. Comfortable bed and good selection of pillows. We had a ground floor room with a view of the beautiful pool and hot tub. Also have an exercise room, dry sauna and wet sauna. Shorts drive to all of the shops and eateries. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast to start the day. Highly recommend when visiting the area.

Convenient Location, close to Silverado Trail and local Highway , walk to town/restaurants/bars, clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast with lots of choices, free parking, free internet, hotel is currently being remodeled so will be nicer.

Location: 10 min walking distance from town centre. Spacious room, very clean. Kitchenette in the room. Breakfast included and a good choice at the buffet as well. Very good value for money, friendly staff. Will come again. (Renovations work did not bother us, it never started before 8.30 a.m. and were finished by the time we came back)

Napa county is a pricey area and this is a relatively good value compared to the competition. Our room was very good and clean. Breakfast was in a small room with hot eggs and oatmeal but not much fruit. The hotel is small and undergoing reconstruction. The front desk staff was very helpful with restaurant and winery tour information. The TV is complex which is not unusual in a small market. I wouldn't choose this hotel for a long stay but it was fine for overnight and a quick dinner in Calistoga.

The hotel was under construction, but the workers didn't start til reasonably late (like 9:30). The place is not fancy, but it provides everything you need: clean room, comfortable bed, functional AC, and a decent breakfast. The staff is very friendly and seem honestly interested and caring. The hotel does have a few nice features (hot tub, sauna and steam bath, exercise room) that I didn't have a chance to use.

The facility was nice and clean, but undergoing some renovations which will make it even nicer. the breakfast room and lobby need to be separated a little and that seems to be part of the renovation. Room was large and nicely appointed. Price was good given that Napa Valley is very expensive.

I just returned from a 2 night trip to Calistoga. I was pleasantly surprised by the Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor. Pros: location, cleanliness, comfortable bed, modern appliances and amenities, A/C, HBO on the flat panel TV, great free WiFi, friendly staff, clean pool and jacuzzi, and free continental breakfast. Cons: some might be miffed at the construction going on in the middle part of the hotel but to me it was no problem - I wasn't expecting this to be a luxury property so I don't care if part of the building is being worked on. The only other con was no safe to store valuables in the room. If you are not too hung up on not getting a luxury hotel and can appreciate the value in staying here, I think you will not be disappointed. I was as happy as I have been staying in other hotels where I paid hundreds more a night. At some level when all your needs are met extra things like turndown are nice but not always worth spending so much more on. This hotel is clean, well run and in a good location in northern wine country (Calistoga), within walking distance to downtown Calistoga I'm glad I visited and would definitely return. It's within close proximity to many of my favorite wineries, which are in the northern Napa region.

Nice room, close to the town, breakfast was good, the hotel is expanding so things will be even better. They have nice pool and hot tub. We used the exorcise facilities (treadmill, elliptical and universal) and it was clean.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and the motel is in a good location. My wife was in the St Helena Hospital( about 7 miles away), and the motel gave us a discounted rate because of it. A very nice thing to do.

Always love staying here. The hot tub was perfect late at night when I needed it the most. Breakfast was great made a gourmet waffle with nuts and dried berries. Room was comfortable and the bed was great.

We chose BW because we could get separate beds, a must for us.The beds were better than average. The staff really excelled with a good breakfast and service to patrons. We left behind some items of sentimental value and the staff promptly (with emphasis) shipped them to us. And the "breakfast lady" cheerfully cleaned up after the careless spill of waffle batter.The hotel was quiet, despite being under renovation, as it was away from the central activities of town--but not far.

The Best Western Plus in Calistoga was a pleasant surprise. My well-appointed room was every bit as nice as the much more expensive one in San Francisco where I stayed several previous nights. Staff were accommodating, and even carried my suitcase upstairs for me. This hotel's location is great for a visit to a Calistoga spa, winery tours, or a meal at one of the local restaurants.

We had a nice 2 night stay at The Best Western Stevenson Manor. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean, but both could use a bit of a facelift and upgrade. Pool area was nice and clean but we didn't use it during the day due to construction on the courtyard of the hotel. Staff were nice and helpful, and had great local recommendations for dinner (Definitely try Sam's Social Club next door). The location of the hotel was walking distance to downtown Calistoga and a nice drive to many vineyards and Old Faithful. The daily breakfast was nice, a few more fresh fruit items would have been nice. All in all, a nice and pleasant stay, rooms just need a bit of an upgrade.

Two night stay. Rooms are like an average Best Western but with above average prices. However, there is a major renovation ongoing which they did not mention until check-in. I suggest staying elsewhere until late summer considering the price, See pictures of the hallway and view from the doorway of our room.

We had a one night stay at the Best Western and enjoyed it. The hotel is being renovated however the noise stopped promptly at around 5pm and didn't start up again until after nine in the morning. The pool area nd spa looked lovely. The room was huge, comfortable and quiet and the breakfast great. We walked to the town - an easy, flat 10 minute walk and there were plenty of eating options. Recommneded

We arrived and were lucky to get the last room. The room was very comfortable, big, nice fireplace. The breakfast was great with a lot of options: fresh juice, wafer, ?ereal and eggs. Very recomended.

This is a great value hotel to stay in Napa Valley. It is very quiet, walkable to Calistoga cafes and restaurants, has spacious rooms, pool, spa and gym. Breakfast was a notch above the usual US fare (almond milk, fresh berries, unsweetened yoghurt, fresh oatmeal toppings). There's a kitchenette area in the room. The only drag was the noise from the renovations (0800-1700) but the new courtyard should be lovely.

My wife and I were quite pleased to spend our anniversary in Calistoga and selected this Best Western as our base. The hotel is undergoing construction but during our stay there was no interruption of any services. We were told that they were enlarging the dining area which is desperately needed. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of foods. As mentioned previously, the breakfast room is woefully undersized but the construction will correct that. The location of the hotel is in the far end of Calistoga, but it's not a far walk. For those mobility issues the location might be an issue. Not for us. We would recommend staying here.

Our room was clean, comfortable and close to the center of the city. Tasting rooms, restaurants and shopping are just a few blocks away. The room has a corkscrew and wine glasses, along with a microwave and refrigerator. The check in was quick, easy and friendly.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. It was clean, very comfortable, and had great amenities. I would return and use them again. Staff was friendly. Their breakfast was good, a lot of choices. We did use their pool and hot tub. Well cared for.

This is a best western plus and has earned that position. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is as stated some construction in the center of the hotel but we were made aware if it when we booked and apart from the aesthetics of the construction it did not affect our stay however if you wanted to sleep late during the week then it may present a problem and room selection would be important to check out. The hotel is a short but pleasant walk to the town center. We were offered free passes for a shuttle service which will pick you up and drop you off anywhere in the local area. The breakfast room is definitely on the small side with only 5 tables, this may be due to the construction but I am not sure about that. breakfast selection was adequate, but I have had better. All in all I would stay here again and when the work is finished I am sure it will have been worth the inconvenience.

If you are wine tasting, this location is a perfect spot in Calistoga. The bed was comfy and it had a large clean bathroom. The room itself is also very large and comfortable. My daughter and I stayed there to celebrate her 21st birthday.

Nice room with a nice view of the pool, and quiet despite the construction that's going on in the center of the hotel. I think I might wait out the construction if you're out for a trip to wine country, but my husband was having surgery at St. Helena Hospital and we needed a place close to the hospital that was comfortable and safe. I'd recommend this hotel highly for that purpose, construction or not.

Loved our stay. Room was large, the jacuzzi tub outrageous, the beds divine. We could walk down the street to a number of restaurants and the area of the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was varied and delicious and included both hot and cold items, everything from eggs and sausage to waffles to bagels and fruit and yogurt. Staff was pleasant and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

We tried to stay close to town, which the Best Western is located. It is easily within walking distance. The hotel, which I was aware of, is under construction remodeling. Room was clean and spacious. We had a suite with fireplace. The hotel staff was great and did apologize about the ongoing work and I'm sure it will be very good when done. I would go back in the future, but would check before hand about construction.

Very nice affordable hotel in wine country. In the town of Calistoga which is in the north part of Napa Valley. Close to the castle and Sterling Vineyards. Check in staff friendly. Great waffles for breakfast.

Our room was comfortable and clean, with a fridge and a microwave. The breakfast was good, with everything you want from a hotel breakfast (good coffee, oatmeal, eggs, bacon or sausage, a waffle station, etc.). The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for everything in Calistoga and Napa Valley in general. Getting to 29 or the Silverado Trail was easy, so navigating was no problem; we generally didn't need the GPS. There was construction right outside of our door (the facility is being expanded), but the noise and disruption was minimized as much as possible. It honestly never bothered us. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Napa Valley.

My stay was due to my husband having surgery at a local hospital. Hotel was conveniently located and quiet. Liked the breakfast options - a little of everything. Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Was in Calistoga for the Wedding of my Niece. With approximately 50 plus guests and Family in town for the Wedding, we spread out to several Motels. The Best Western Stevenson Manor was a great location; walking distance into town, plus quite location.Would recommend this Motel.

No Mud Bath or Spa but if you are looking for a quiet place to stay during your Napa Valley visit, this place is good. 10 to 15 minutes walk to Down Town but it's pretty safe and walkable. There is a small exercise room and laundry.

Great rooms, great location. The only problem was the construction but that wasn't too bad since we were out during the day. We also enjoyed using the jacuzzi and steam room at the pool. The room we had was large with a "fake" fireplace (heater) which worked well for us. Breakfast was great. I loved visiting Calistoga and I would return to this hotel.

Really lovely hotel stayed here with my boyfriend whilst travelling around California. The room was huge, modern and clean. The hotel had a lovely feel to it. Breakfast selection was quite limited and not the best quality however you can't really complain as it was included in the price of the room. Calistoga is also lovely very quaint. I would definitely return to this hotel if I was back in Napa Valley.

A very nice clear hotel with a very courteous and helpful staff. The facility is well maintained and the rooms are good size and well kept. They have a newly remodeled pool area which was very enjoyable after a long day exploring the greater Napa Valley. They offer discounts to local wineries and good suggestions on places to dine in Calistoga. A Gem of a Hotel.

Pros - Centrally located. Easy 10 minute walk to center of town. Our room was spacious and very clean. Loved the breakfast. The breakfast lady attendant was so friendly and helpful. Hotel parking. Cons - Big construction going on in the courtyard (1/23/16) and we did not even get a discount. I would probably have given it a higher rating if there was no construction. Rooms were pretty pricey even for this time of year. Front desk closes at 10pm so there is no attendant and they make you sign a waiver of liability in case your car gets broken into in their parking lot. No reassurance from the front desk that I shouldn't be worried about mine or my vehicles safety.

Came for an open house in Santa Rosa and Calistoga. Stayed in Calistoga. Chose B.W because we know what to expect and were not disappointed. Clean, spacious, pool, work out room and nice variety of breakfast. Fast check in and out, with professionalism. Nice décor.

This hotel has very attentive staff and an owner who cares about his hotel and guests! We had a very comfortable, spacious king room and received knowledgeable information from the front desk staff. They also promptly contacted me with faxes that arrived to my attention!

I stayed at this hotel because of the great reviews online. I was traveling through the area and needed a place to stay that was affordable and quiet. The BW Calistoga seemed to do be just that. I used the pre-pay option to get a king sized room suite for $135 (taxes included), midweek. The king sized suite is ample space, plantation shutters, really great bed with nice sheets, super clean, nice sized bathroom, it was hard to find fault with anything. The check in was quick. Fairly standard front desk. Great recommendation for the restaurant next door (Sam's Social Club). The hotel is undergoing renovation, so the courtyard area is all fenced off. There is still access to the pool and hot tub and an outdoor seating area if you would like. All of the 2nd floor rooms cost more than the 1st floor rooms -- I paid an extra $20 for a 2nd floor room and I was quite happy -- I slept very well and heard nothing in the night. I think this is a very good, affordable option for lodging in Calistoga. Nice job Best Western.

Spent three days at this hotel. The property is very nice, good location to downtown and the wineries. Although the hotel is undergoing construction renovations, it did not affect our stay. The staff are great, the room was very ample, clean and comfortable. The heated pool was a treat during the cold winter weather. Looking forward to the new courtyard.

This hotel is quiet and restful, yet in an area with many wonderful restaurants for fine dinning. And not far from so many great winery to tour along with spas to visit for the healing of the body. The staff are great and willing to give advise and help in any way

This hotel is great. Clean,spacious with plenty of amenities. DirecTV, kitchenette, free WIFI, What I especially appreciated is the real glass tumblers, wine glasses and mugs. Plus there are more bath amenities then a higher class hotel offers. Truly nothing to criticize.

I travel 30 to 40 nights per year. This is my favorite hotel. The staff are always top notch, friendly and willing to go out of the way to make sure they have done everything they can to make it a great stay. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and aesthetically pleasing. The rates are competitive, and the location is close to numerous restaurants.

The Stevenson Manor is a wonderful place to stay. It is relatively small and located in Calistoga which is @ the northern end of Napa Valley. Our room was very nice,comfortable and quite spacious. The staff was very nice and professional. The Manor is convenient to the wineries and the great restaurants that abound in the Valley. This time of year (late Fall and Winter) it is relatively quiet.

We've stayed here many times. Very comfortable rooms and king beds. Great location, walk to town. Staff is very accommodating. Breakfast offers options for everyone. Great value for Napa Valley lodging.

Absolutely perfect hotel! Exceptional hospitality and beautiful. Very clean, quiet. Off the beaten path, but walkable to downtown where everything is. If in the area, stay here, you won't be disappointed.

This hotel had a clean, comfortable room, with a very nice bed. The breakfast in the morning was good, offering a variety of items. The price was a little high, but most places in Napa valley are expensive. My only complaint was that the a/c cycled off and on during the night, and was disturbing. Otherwise, a very nice property in wine country.

Hotel was within walking distance of downtown Calistoga. Facility had a nice courtyard area that was perfect for breakfast and a takeout evening meal. It was the best deal in the Calistoga area that met our needs. This was a one night stay during our travels in the Northern California area.

We've stayed at the Calistoga BW twice a year, spring and fall, for over 20 years. Never a disappointment. However the hotel has become a bit pricey, especially after the remodel but remains a good value considering the increase in tourism in the Napa Valley area and the competing resorts. Very friendly staff and very clean rooms. Located on the northern edge of Calistoga it's a 10 minute walk to the downtown. Just booked our room for March 2016.

What a nice surprise! Our room was huge. The pool and hot tub where amazing and even included a sauna and steam room. The only draw back was that the pool area is very shaded so that we had no sun. This property was walking distance to downtown - a very charming little town. We decided to eat dinner next door at Sam's Social Club. Beautiful setting and great food. We woke up the next morning and there was a hot air balloon getting ready to take flight right outside our window. Very cool.

We really liked this hotel with its big room, super comfy bed and huge tv. There is a nice outdoor pool on the premises and breakfast is part of the rate. Downtown is only a 10 minute walk away and you'll be spoiled for choice by the restaurants and bars.

pleasant except for the outside noise didnt sleep very well, the breakfast was very good but a small eating area inside. check in was easy and so was checking out did not see nor told about express checkout. the hotel was close to town easy walk . beautiful but expensive hotel across the stree , indian springs

We stayed here for two nights while touring the wine country. The staff was friendly and our room was very nice. It appeared to have been remodeled recently. The bathroom was very nice and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed both the pool and the hot tub. Breakfast was good with many options. My only reason for not rating the hotel five stars is the road noise. We were in room 201 and could not leave the sliding door open due to traffic. I would ask the front desk for a room away from the road but I am not sure they have any as the hotel borders two noisy streets. But considering the prices of other hotels in the area I would return here in a minute.

I stay at a lot of Best Westerns and I don't think this one lives up to the Plus status. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but nothing exceptional either. The rooms have a good facade, but it lacks on details- no outlets near the bed, mold around the shower. The hotel is in a great location, about a 3 min drive to the main street in Calistoga and 7 mins to great wineries.

Came to visit Napa valley and Calistoga. Affordable quality hotel . Pleasant staff. Great clean amenities. Serves breakfast. Helpful with what is in the area. Good location. Able to walk to town. Quiet place. Has a pool, hot tub and sauna. Rooms are nice and clean and roomy. Good breakfast choices.

Our friends recommended this property to us so we were not hesitant to book it at all. We got more than we were expecting! The motel is very small, not too many rooms. And though it is a motel with outside corridors, all the rooms open up onto a courtyard area rather than a parking lot. This set up contributes to the property being nice and quite. They are just outside the Calistoga downtown area, so once again its very quiet. Yet you can still walk to all the shops and eating places downtown. Personally I think this is the perfect location. Check in was super fast and there were even chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. We had an upstairs room with a balcony. Our balcony looked over a field, towards the mountains and we enjoyed eating our breakfast out there in the morning. Our room was spotless. Bed was comfortable. Free wi-fi worked well. We did not use the pool but it was a good size. Ice machines worked well and there were vending machines available too. The free breakfast in the morning was plenty to get us started out. Front desk staff were all very nice. I thought this was an excellent little place to stay and if we do another Calistoga trip, I'll definitely come back here! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars and not 5 is simply due to the price. I know we were there on a Friday night but i still think the price was on the high side.

We loved our stay at this property. Perfectly located in Northern Napa, it was a quiet place to escape away from the more crowded areas of wine country. Our room was clean, updated, and the breakfasts were very good. Only recommendation I would make is to request an upstairs room, as we could hear our upstairs neighbors quite well through the ceiling in our downstairs room. We would absolutely stay here again!

This is an average hotel at best but rate and location make it a very good value given the usual expensive options in Napa. The morning breakfast was surprisingly good and convenient. If you want to be pampered and rub noses with the upper class look elsewhere.

Just spent 2 nights in Calistoga attending a wedding at a local winery. Had a very nice experience in the hotel. Clean & large room well equipped, large comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, excellent breakfast. Coffee, cookies, apples & cold drink always ready for you in the lobby. Very friendly & accommodating staff. Actually all of my experiences in Best Western hotels in the last 3 years were great.

My wife and I recently stayed in this hotel for a night while visiting local wineries. The hotel is in a good location, just off of route 29 and set off a bit from the heart of town. The hotel was attractive and clean, and the staff was friendly. Hot and cold breakfast was included (typical Best Western fare). We had one small problem... had to call tech support to fix their wi-fi access. Other than that, the stay was quite enjoyable.

We had one of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed in, being spacious, clean, modern and with a gas fireplace. Staff were helpful and the hot breakfast that was included was quite good. Location is walking distance to shops and restaurants. Didn't use pool but enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely go back.

This hotel is in a great location, nice and the staff wonderful. But we paid $275 for a basic room with two thin and small towels. We understand it is in a tourist area without a lot of hotels, but for that price, extra effort should be made on simple amenities. And, the sheets seemed very old. Again, for that price, someone should take an extra look at the room.
