Best Western Plus Caldwell Inn & Suites

I made a reservation at this Best Western. However, I learned that they won't let you stay if you live within 30 miles of the hotel. We are attending our granddaughter's dance recital, and did not want to drive all the way back to Boise at night. I explained this to the front desk person, but they wouldn't budge - and they couldn't explain to me why it's their policy - "it's just our policy" I was told. We're happy to stay at a more welcoming hotel, and one that does not discriminate.

Not a bad place to stay for a couple of days. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was good, and the staff was awesome. The room was clean (not spotless) and the timer switch in the bathroom was broken. The room was a little dark, could use some more lighting. Other than that, we'll stay there again.

I will never be staying at best Western again after the Caldwell location in Idaho refuse to let me out of their 48 hour cancellation policy, even though I called with more than 24 hours to spare. I had no problem getting out of best Western Winnemucca's reservation the night before I was supposed to be in Caldwell for three nights Winnemucca was very gracious, but we stayed there before, and they knew us. I don't know why Caldwell was so harsh on their 48 hour policy when we've stayed there six times. NEVER AGAIN. Holiday Inn Express for us from now on, and we travel by car often .

The room was average. It was nice and clean. Beds were very comfy. We slept well. The pool and spa were great. The breakfast was excellent for a continental breakfast. The only complaint i have is the fact that I ask for my room to be cleaned 2 days in a row and neither of those days did my room get cleaned.

Our room was very comfortable and quiet. We needed help navigating the area, and the desk clerk directed us to a great local shopping mall for Christmas shopping. She was so helpful! We will definitely go back.

Zero Customer Service - booked a room for our daughter and grandson and a couple friends for birthday visit to Ice skate and visit Indian Creek Plaza for Christmas light show. Best Western Caldwell canceled the day of the trip due to their policy not to take reservations from locals with 30 miles of their location. We will therefore not be using Best Western for our business/employee lodging when working on location. City of Caldwell please note this business is not interested in promoting the wonderful activities you have worked so hard to create in your city.

Wish I could rate a zero. We are here now. I just called the front desk to see if we could be moved because of the blasting music from the car wash directly below our window. You won't need an alarm clock as it starts at 6:30 a.m. and doesn't stop until after 11:00. I called the front desk to see if we could be moved at 7:30 this morning. She said they won't know if the hotel is full until after everyone checks in. So I said great that means that you have empty rooms right now that you can move us to and you can put someone else in the car wash music room. She said she would check and she came back a few seconds later and said no they couldn't move us. Don't come to this hotel unless you expect for customer service and blasting booming music waking you up in the morning and keeping you up at night.

Though my Galaxy business was in Nampa, I chose to stay at the Best Western in Caldwell because I know that I can count on them for the best service, best rate, best breakfast and the location is very convenient.

The price you confirm when you book can change... We were charged 3 different times and the total cost was $400+ what I was originally quoted and confirmed. No room service for 6 night stay. Had to ask front desk for garbage bag to take out my own trash, staff was reluctant when I asked for more towels, coffee pods. Staff had their family or boyfriends/girlfriends there while they were working. Just overall not a great experience.

This is a really nice hotel. Very clean. Very quiet. Good breakfast. Nice pool. Outdoor seating with a grill you can use. Good location. Staff friendly and good at their jobs. Would definitely stay here again.

This has been one of the worst fiascos I've had to ever deal with. I chose this hotel because it was easier for my father to meet in Caldwell instead of Boise. We accidentally left my daughters stuffed animals and pillow in the room. We didn't notice till we were two hours away, and we had to be home in time to have my husband go to work, since we had a brand new puppy at home and she couldn't be left alone. We couldn't turn back around. When I called to ask if they had found the pillow and stuffed animals, they said they would have to check and call me back. They never did. I had to call back when I finally reached my destination 8 hour away. When I found out that the items were there they told me it would be super simple. All I had to do was send a pre paid label, and that they had boxes and would be able to ship it out. I went to UPS and UPS said they wouldn't be able to make a prepaid label unless I had the size of the box. When I called to try and figure this info out the girl Destiny told me that she doesn't deal with stuff like this and to call back in the morning. I was irritated, but understood that maybe she was new. When I called back the next day they said that UPS didn't know what they were talking about and that I can just send a prepaid label. Then another girl got on the phone and said that I would have to send them a box already put together with a pre paid label inside so they could just open it up and put the stuffed animal and pillow in. I was again irritated at this but didn't say anything, because I know how things don't always go as planned and just accepted it is what it is. I asked her if she could give me the dimensions of the pillow and stuffed animals. She told me 2 feet by 47 inches by 37 inches. I was so focused on writing down the dimensions I wasn't even thinking about how big the dimensions were. When I went to go measure to see if I had a box I was blown away at how large this actually is. I called back and told the girl there is no way the pillow is this big. She told me the next dimensions were 18x 16x 20. That seemed a lot better and I accepted it knowing I didn't have a box that big I went to the UPS store after creating the label for the box to go there and the prepaid label coming back. It was around $62 for both labels. I was frustrated at this, but also knew it was my fault as the parent to make sure I had all my child's stuff in the car before we took off. When I went to go buy the box I was extremely frustrated at the size of the box. It was huge!! At this point I was crying because I was already so overwhelmed with everything. However I just accepted that I had already paid for these labels and bought the $15 dollar box and was ready for this to be over. I put the prepaid label inside the box myself and sent off the box. On Sunday I checked the tracking because I assumed that maybe the item would be already on its way back to me. I didn't show any movement on my pre paid label, and showed the box arrived on Wednesday. I called them back and Destiny answered the phone again. I explained who I was and that there should be a box there with a label inside to put the stuffed animals and pillows. She said that she didn't deal with this kind of stuff AGAIN and to call back tomorrow. I was really irritated because it seemed like this was a simple thing. I asked her if the stuff was still there, because it had been a while and I didn't want them to throw it out. She said that she can't go check. I said “you really can't see if a stuffed animal and pillow is still there??” She said “oh, yeah, it's still here” I asked if maybe I could speak to someone who could go check if the box I paid $15 for was still there since it had been 4 days and I was worried they broke it down and got rid of it. She said she was the only person working right now. So I told her to have a nice night and accepted I wasn't getting anywhere again with her. It seemed like everytime I talked to this girl she was bothered by me calling her. Everyone else seemed like they were at least trying to be helpful even though this whole situation was horrible and no one seemed they knew how to help me. Anyway, I tried to call back the next day, but for some reason my phone wasn't allowing me to press 1 to get to the front desk. My husband called and talked to someone (I'm not sure who) but she told him that the box had arrived but there was no label, but all I had to do was email the label and they can print it. I was again irritated because I put the label inside myself, but also accepted that it's possible it fell out the cracks. Highly unlikely, but possible. I emailed it to them and then I called back later to make sure they got it. I forgot who I talked to again, but they said that everything is packaged up and they are waiting for UPS to come. Perfect. Everything seemed like it was all done, and that this $77 fiasco was finally done. I was checking my emails the next day and saw that they emailed me and said they just wanted to let me know that I would need to have UPS come and pick up the item. No one told me this before!!! It seems I keep getting told information that would of been easier to know ahead of time. I emailed them back and said I would get on it, but that they never told me I had to do this. They emailed back and said they told my husband this. My husband said they never told him and he would of remembered. Anyway, I paid $13 for a UPS pick up . Totaling everting to $90. I was annoyed, but these were extremely important things, and I know that my daughter would of been crushed if I just forfeited the items (again, knowing this was my fault). All was good and happy, we got the items. When I opened the box to get the items out…. Guess what was sitting right there in the box?????? The fricken pre paid label!!! I was furious! I was raging at this point. I understand that this was my fault for leaving the item, but holy crap your employees at Best Western didn't make this process any easier. I swear we hit every snag wile could on this journey. I get maybe one or two things being messed up but all of these things happening? You need to have a better system in place for when people leave things at your hotel. Maybe give all the info of what needs to happen and the process it will take to get the items back. I wish I could give a 0 star, but I guess I will be okay with it being 1 star because their breakfast was bomb, and the room was clean. But, as far as customer service, it was horrible. No one knew what to do in this situation, the girl Destiny who couldn't be bothered to answer questions or try to help out. The person who gave me the dimensions of the box, the person who said it would be simple, the way the box sat there for 4 days without a word. And then to top it all off and be lied to about the label not being in there? How does that even happen? How do you open a box and look in and not see the stupid label in there???? How? I feel like that's not even possible. It's white! It stands out. I have included a picture of the WHITE label that they couldn't see inside the box. I don't even want to accept that they couldn't see it. It's not possible. It's just not. This whole thing was horrible. I guess I can just be grateful and be happy that we even got the item back. Please, come up with a procedure that all your employees know in order to get an item back to a customer. Please.

Billed repeatedly for unjust reasons , service dogs , reported rooms items made to be our fault, and room keys never work. Add the construction noise and being told we couldn't extend our stay due to no available rooms when there was rooms available due to our service animals and my wife's disability

Best hotel in Caldwell! This was our first stay at the best Western in Caldwell, Idaho. Everything was wonderful. The best part was the indoor pool and hot tub. The pool room was gorgeous with lots of windows and light. There is a sunning area right outside the pool. My sister and grandkids and I enjoyed it immensely and swim every day after breakfast. The breakfast was wonderful and offered a large variety each day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The manager, Thomas, was very kind and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the beds were clean, cozy and comfy. We will return to this hotel every time we visit Caldwell!

When we checked in at 11:30 pm, the process was really slow even though I had done the pre-register process ahead of time. I was also told that my card would need to be charged an extra $50/night for incidentals. That type of hold is typical when there is a mini bar, restaurant or room service that you may charge to your room, it's not typical at a motel like this with none of these amenities. The luggage cart had a flat tire making it difficult to roll to our room. Once we got in our room, it immediately STUNK. Like wet dog or mildew. Went back to front desk, and was luckily able to switch rooms. The staff that night was great about switching us, but planned to spray the room down so it didn't stink. The room was not well lit. Light by the bed about fell off the wall anytime we turned it on our plugged into the outlet on it. Shower curtain was old and worn out so floor got wet with every shower. This hotel is in desperate need of an update. The manager was also difficult to deal with, especially with our group reservation for softball tournament.

Excellent amenities for the price. Comfortable bedding and friendly staff. Breakfast is better than average too. We're definitely staying here next time we're in the area. Gift shop and local wine selection was a bonus

I found the BW in Caldwell very conveinient to the restaurants and other businesses in the area. It is more laid back than Boise or Nampa. The pool is nice for a bit of relaxation. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

This accessible hotel is close by a nice steakhouse in Caldwell and easy to find just off the freeway passing through. Heavy fog forced our hand or we would have missed it. Rooms are being updated constantly according to kitchen manager, Jeanette, and the lobby is warm and friendly. Our quiet spacious room was nicely appointed with new everything from room darkening drapes and a nice sound absorbing carpet to big comfy bed, modern bathroom and shower and a luxurious vanity. (We also had a very nice desk and a coffee pot but we're on the fly and didn't get a chance to enjoy them). The best part, however was breakfast! Jeanette and Toni (sp?) were friendly and helpful, putting out delicious, fresh scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries (Idaho potatoes of course), biscuits and gravy (fresh baked biscuits!), as well as cereal, waffles, muffins and yogurt. It was all amazing. I went for healthy fare at first but was tempted by the biscuits and gravy with potatoes on the side and will be carrying that extra weight on into the next state I'm afraid:)! It was so good I went back for a muffin which was so moist and delicious it was like being in a New York bakery getting things fresh out of the oven. Local truckers, farmers and tradespeople passed through quietly talking amongst themselves, in flannel shirts, getting their (Free!) breakfast, while Jeanette told us a little about the Snake river area and the strangely foggy weather (it's a “…bowl between mountain ranges…”) that caused us to stop originally! if you stop in you'll have to meet her and Toni, and just please just say hi for me and Martha when you do, we will miss them as we continue on across America! Their little hotel Heaven is clean and warm and friendly in the middle of a frantically busy country, they take the time to chat and smile with strangers the way my folks did back in the day. Thanks Best Western Caldwell, we'll remember You:) (And we are taking a half-caff latte and muffin for the road!)

My wife and I were visiting my daughter in the area and this was the closest hotel to her place. Best Western is not a Hotel Brand I generally visit but it was close so we decided to give it a try. The employees that we met and interacted with were all friendly and accommodating but the rooms were quite a bit disappointing. Starting with the carpet, it looked like it had been there for at least 20 years, the tiles in the bathroom area were cracked and wiggled/clinked when you walked on them. The room had a slight smell of tobacco smoke and was dark even with the lights on and window open. All the lightbulbs were underpowered and the window too small to illuminate the room sufficiently. Bedsheets and coverings were not luxurious in any way but the bed slept comfortably. The small TV sits on top of the dresser which is lower than the bed so when trying to watch TV from bed (as if there is another option in these rooms) you find yourself constantly looking down. All in all, if you're looking for a functional room for sleeping then the BW+ in Caldwell ID will do. It's won't impress you but it will provide the minimal level of comfort needed for a nights rest.

The hotel was fine. A little aged here and there, with a couple of minor repairs needed, but modern. The only thing I didn't like was the shower head - 7 feet up with the water straight down. Had to bend the body oddly to get the water to where I wanted it. The wifi was pretty good, plenty of AC outlets. The free, hot breakfast is standard hotel breakfast fare. Fairly tasty, and just okay. The "pantry" had only junk food snacks, sodas and beer. The night clerk was bored and lackadaisical. Not rude, but uninterested. The room had all the regular things that make hotels pleasant but not exceptional. Caldwell is much farther from Boise (45 minutes) than I realized. My bad for not paying closer attention. The only things within walking distance of the hotel are a Burger King, a truck stop, and a Dutch Bros.

Spend your money elsewhere. Under horrible management and you will be disappointed. Turned us away on our wedding night after having the room booked for 2 months! Zero attempt to accommodate and were very ride.

Extremely limited parking because of work in the parking lot. People were fighting for parking and were encouraged to park in a dirt lot (not owned by the BW and had a 'Tow Away' sign). Dirty, tatered rug, ceiling that was buckling becuse of water damaged from the room above, shower curtain holder that was coming out of the wall, thus failing to hold shower curtain closed, iron that did not work, extremely poor lighting. The BW in Caldwell, ID was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Outdated decor, plumbing needs repair, unfriendly desk person but nice service staff, reasonably clean and comfortable otherwise. I would not recommend it, just not up to typical Best Western Plus standards.

This Hotel needs to upgraded, furnishing are worn out, they cancelled my reservation for 2 beds, and put me in a room with 1 bed and then charged me for a roll away. Not a happy customer was disappointed in this Best Western and this Hotel is not a great deal for the rate they charge.

Overall, a good stay. Most of the negative reviews seem to have not read hotel policy before booking - like the hotel doesn't rent to people who live within a 30-mile radius, and they charge a $50/night/room refundable deposit. Not a big deal - just read their policies so you don't get stuck needing a hotel and not being able to stay there. Pros: Our room was clean, sizable, and close to the elevator. The towels and linens were clean and pretty soft. The shampoo/conditioner/lotion bottles that they leave in the room are almost laughably small, but the products smell great, work well, and are available if you need to request more. The staff was largely friendly and helpful, even when they were clearly extremely busy and/or stressed out. We did have to request housekeeping, but we only needed it once during our 3-day stay and it wasn't a big deal to have to request it. The breakfast smelled great - I didn't have a chance to partake because of our plans, but I sure wanted to try it because of the smell alone! Downsides: The bed was much harder than my husband and I would have liked. By the end of our stay, we were both in quite a bit of pain (but we have back issues, anyway, so that's not a rare occurrence for us). This may not be a downside for people who like firm beds. The internet service was a bit on the slow and limited side - my husband and I are both gamers and were not able to game as we would have liked to because playing on a server seemed to put too much stress on the meager internet connection. The internet was sufficient for most other tasks - solo gaming, checking email, etc. The dryer in the guest laundry (which, along with the washer, is coin-operated) did not dry the clothes well. I had a medium-sized load of baby laundry that I needed to wash, which was not dry after nearly an hour of trying to dry it. I did manage to hang it out to dry the rest of the way in our room's bathroom and closet area. All told, it was a pleasant stay in a clean hotel room with professional staff. Make sure you read the policies and are prepared to pay the refundable deposit. Be kind to and patient with the staff (because they deserve to be treated with respect!) and they will treat you well. Go ahead and stay here - we will likely consider this hotel for future trips, as well.

I have stayed here more than once however this will be the last. The room stunk, carpet and seats were stained. Hotel needs some serious updating for me to return. The King room I requested on the 1st floor was not available, so I opted for a Double Queen room and was charged an additional $10. This hotel also charges a refundable $50 deposit when checking in. I totally disagree with that charge as they have your credit card on file if you damaged the room.

The front desk lady and man wouldn't let me to pay for room for one night because I lived Less than 30 miles away. THEY SAID IT'S POLICY, but could not show me this policy. The man behind me in line said, why does the cash register care of its her $100 or my $100?

Both woman at the front desk were extremely rude to our family. We called to reserve a room after having a family emergency that resulted in us needing to find a place to stay for a few days and when we went in to check in we were denied our room because we are locals, but we were not informed of this when we told them were we lived on the phone and they still took our credit card information. If this is ur policy that is fine but they were extremely rude for no reason at all.

No electricity at sink outlet - not fixed when notified. Refused to give a $ break for no sink power. We wanted to leave a day early. I notified our plan for early ck out at 8 pm (policy is 4 pm) - staff did not tell us we would be charged. We would have stayed if informed no credit.

They do not honor online discount prices, instead they waited until check in to let me know that they wouldn't honor the price I paid. The excuse was because it was rodeo weekend. I guess rodeo weekend is when they jack up the price and there's nothing you can do about it. Definitely won't stay at best western after all this

Stayed at this hotel about 5 times over last 7 years. Staff is outstanding. However rooms and amenities are very outdated. For almost $200 per night and the drain in the shower does not work .. I expect that in an $60 per night hotel. I will stay in Nampa next time.

We have stayed at this location several times over the years. The location is good as it is close to grandkids. Don't know what has happened but it is filthy & disgusting. Should have known from checkin it would be bad experience. Desk person was vaping right there. They have people in trailers living in the back lot & using the facilities. They informed us at the front desk that there would be a $50/nightly deposit. Nothing prior about that. We are platinum members…really? The room was 1/2 clean, syrup on the table, floss on the sink & black mold along the shower. The whole hotel is gross. Hope they will be remodeled soon, and maybe some quality hosts. Won't ever go back!!!

It's an old hotel definitely needs to be updated. The first room smelled of pee the ac didn't work and toilet was clogged switched to a different room. Pool was okay hot tub jets didn't work. The pool area defiantly needs some kind of ac unit as it gets very hot in there. Beds are very uncomfortable hard as a rock. Also not very family friendly with the numerous druggies that are there. I personally wouldn't recommend staying for more then a day.

Terrible experience. I will not be going back. For three reasons: They did not honor my state government ID for the government rate. Second, they did allow me to cancel when I was told I had to pay the $160 RAC rate rather than the $100 rate. Third, they started cleaning my room while I went down to breakfast, which as around 8:30 am. I have been coming to this hotel for 20 years. They just lost a customer.

Upon check in, clerk was unfriendly and rude. Did not recognize us as BW reward members. There was mold in the shower. For a Plus hotel, the breakfast bar did not have as much selection as other BW Plus hotels. Also, not used to having to put up deposit, to make sure nothing gets damaged before refunding it. The pool and spa is nice.

Dirty floors, dirty walls, hair on clean towels and in sink , dirty mirror, not quality of bestwestern, poor quality food in breakfast bar, sticky floors , rude housekeeping staff. Grounds were full of cigarette butts and unkept , lack of caring front desk staff, didnt offer any help for finding restaurants near by Complaining about surrounding areas for covid closings, no covid protocol was being followed, overall experience was very disappointing, very old fixtures and poor updates. Would not recommend to any one.

This was a nice place to spend an overnight rest stop. Clean and nice parking Easy to get to the freeway with gas stations next door. Breakfast was ok. Staff made sure you had everything you needed to eat.

Spoke to Kris/Chris? MOD, about adjusting a reservation that wasn't correct. Was told I had to wait to speak to a GM, and that it wouldn't help anyway, as they have "policy" that is more important than customer service. When I tried explaining that they were in the hospitality/service industry, she hung up on me. Seriously? This is who you want running your hotel?

The Continental breakfast gets 5 stars! The staff are helpful and friendly, the room was dated but clean. The hot tub jets didn't work and that was disappointing after a long day of travel, and the dryer heating element was going out so the clothes didn't dry. Overall it was a nice hotel for he $$

Stayed here the first time in one of the jetted tubs room and it went well. Reasonable price, normal quality room for a BW. Was headed out on military orders and decided to spend the night before I left with my wife at the same hotel. Booked a room, next morning my wife woke up very sick. I understand they have a 24 hour cancellation policy, I get it, but they won't even talk about it. Tried calling the manager several times, put on hold, he never called back. Front desk relayed that they would stick to the policy. I have only had to cancel one other hotel in my many travels, and that hotel gladly refunded my money. They have lost all future business with me. $200 today they got from me, they will lose much more in lost future business, just from me.

The room was dated but very clean, the staff was super helpful and the continental breakfast was amazing! Would have been five stars but the hot tub jets didn't work which was really disappointing and the only dryer they had the heating element was not working so my clothes didn't dry.

The room was ok except for the shower room. Door did not close completely so if you were in the bathroom, you could see person outside at sink. If you were at sink, you could see person sitting in the bathroom. Not much privacy! The shower head was terrible. Either soaked the floor or the wall and ceiling.. As a result, the room smelled moldy all the time.

This hotel does not honor their reservations. If you are planning a trip, plan with a company that won't cancel without warning a four hours before check in time. This is infuriating. We had a nice evening planned before joining family for Mother's Day, now we have to scramble to find a room.

This hotel met my needs well, with good value, great staff, and cleanliness. Yes, the hotel is older and somewhat dated, but if you are looking for a good value and care about cleanliness, this hotel is a good place to stay. Conveniently located as well.

When I made my reservations (10 days prior to arrival) I asked for a room on the ground floor. The bed arrangement had no bearing on my stay as I was the only guest. Upon my arrival I was told that I was booked into a suite on the third floor. When I told the clerk I asked for a ground floor room she tole me that was all that was available. The Wi-Fi was inadequate, my phone said poor signal strength. I expected better. My reservations were for three nights, I stayed two nights. Upon checkout I called the desk and asked if I should bring my room key down to the desk. The clerk told me it wasn't necessary, just leave the room key in the room. The following day I received a receipt for three days not two. So I called and told them I was already back in Seattle and only stayed two days and not three so she adjusted my bill. I have stayed in Best Western's for the past 20 years and this was the only time I have ever experienced a problem, as for my next trip to Caldwell, there is a La Quinta next door.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! SO GROSS!!!! My family booked two nights at this hotel when visiting friends. When we walked in we found a pair of pants in “closet” space and cup next to the couch which I'm 98% sure was semen! When brought to the front desk's attention they acted like it was no big deal. We would have left immediately, but there were no other places to stay in town. The next day I found a tooth brush next to the bed on the floor. I told the desk about this and they were more concerned about my friends 6lb dog that we had in the room temporarily and they charged my credit card $350 for the dog. We checked out right away and the person at the front fest was extremely rude and condescending. Every person I talk to has refused to refund the money for our last night or the $350 “ dog charge “ even though there were many others with large dogs.

This hotel gives all Best Westerns a BAD name! The hot tub was broken, there are stains on the sheets, there was pee stains on the bathroom floor, chipped paint on the walls and the breakfast was not edible. In addition to all that Pete at the front desk verbally attacked me in front of my children when I was checking out. Then I was told I would receive a refund by the general manager and instead I've been charged 3 times!! This is unacceptable, I am a rewards member and travel monthly mostly staying at Best Western branded hotels. I have NEVER experienced such a horrible hotel. If you're in the area and need a hotel go to the Nampa Best Western.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I only stayed one night, but the bed was comfortable and I got a good night's rest. The location was quiet and relaxing. The outside area of the hotel had heaters and looked like a European courtyard. The room was nice and clean too!

The staff at the Best Western in Caldwell are very friendly. I like it when they recognize me as a frequent guest. Breakfast is always good. I've never had a problem and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We stay here at the Caldwell Best Western every Christmas Eve while Visiting family for the holiday. The hotel is perfect for us but it is the staff is what makes it an outstanding experience! Thank you everyone!

Where to start? We checked in, and were told the computer was down. We got sent to the furthest room (333) from the desk, only to find it occupied. Back to the desk, new room (315). Had to call the front desk twice in order to get the rollup, requested at check-in, brought up, finally delivered at about 2000. Next day, after a horrible sleep in an uncomfortable bed, conducted business, returned to the hotel. Elevator not working. Management (?) showed up and pointed to the end of the hall stairway. No apology, just pointed. Trudged my 70-yo body up to the 3rd floor, and the key didn't work in the door. Wife got on the phone and asked for a new key to be brought up. No dice! Wife went back down the stairs to get the new key, then back up on the now-working elevator. While she was at the desk, she tried to get the second night refunded, and check out. She was told it was after 1100 (1410), so no refund, but was promised a $30 discount. We decided to tough it out, since it was paid for...until the fire alarm went off a little while later, then went off twice again after that, within a half hour. It was at that point, we checked out, never to return, and went to a real hotel. I've been all over the globe throughout my life, but this reminded me of Thailand in the 70s. I'm extremely disappointed to find this level of service in the US. If this is the new normal, I'll stay home, thanks.

Very unpleasant experience. The second we checked and got to the room we found a clump of hair that was on the bed sheets the toilet was clearly not cleaned with “stains” on the side. The fridge had not been wiped down had rings of food in it. I instructed the family to leave there socks on the floor was too dirty too be barefoot. Would not recommend and would never stay again. This hotel ruins the best western name.

Worst hotel experience I have ever encountered in my life. Run don't walk to literally any other bite in the area. The manager will lie the employees won't follow protocol. The “suite” bath tub was yellow from mildew the hallways smell of pee. Which they will then accuse you of creating that “smell” but will refuse video footage showing where anyone in your party peed. stay away dirty old and needs upgraded.

This place has the most inconsiderate and rude employees I have ever encountered. The smell alone walking in will make you gag. Our family was forcibly removed due to one of us living within 30 miles which upon check in we were never notified of this rule. But we have stayed there before at fair time? I guess they can pick and choose when to follow their own policy's. Terrible customer service from the front desk woman? I guess… she treated us like garbage. I cannot say enough bad things about this place but I will take the high road and just say run. Find an alternative place for your family to stay.

Do yourself a favor and choose an alternate hotel. Dirty. Disgusting, RUDE front desk. I could go on and on. Never been humiliated or mistreated in the kind of way that the staff treated our family. We weren't even allowed to speak to a manager about our situation. Literally left and went across the street to a different hotel and had the their front desk tell us we aren't the first to walk out of that place. The bathtub was yellow from water rings not cleaned clumps of hair on the comforter the whole place smelled of mold and rot. Trust me it looks nothing like the pictures they have online once you get inside.

An excellent experience. Really appreciated the room rate discount for veterans. Clean and spacious room, nice choice of food and beverage items for the complimentary breakfast, easy check-in and check-out process. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Pricing options were very competitive. The staff here were very friendly. Next time we're in the area this will be where we stay again. Kids thought the girl was amazing. Added plus is that it's non smoking.

stayed at this hotel for three night they do not clean the rooms and only give you two towels for three night and shampoo is awful . room smelled like ben gay and heater was very noisy. when i complained i was told we do not have staff to clean you should have called for more towels

Stayed here because of a break down of our vehicle. The front desk staff was very nice and efficient the room smelled and appeared clean. There was plenty of parking. The hotel is conveniently located. There was coffee in the room. The bed could have been a bit more comfortable but overall nice experience.

I was hesitant to stay at a BW facility because of the reputation for "cheap" accommodations; but went ahead related to the "plus" label on the property. I have stayed at the Heber City BWP and it is a fantastic facility. I expected this associated with the BWP title. We arrived late night after a long day of travel for a reservation that I had secured two weeks in advance to find that the rate I booked at, was not for the suite we wanted and booked, so the property, without contact, downgraded us to a single King. Upon learning that all other nearby properties were booked, we had no choice but to stay. The front desk staff acted like they were doing us a favor by not charging for a rollaway bed to accommodate our party. We then observed MAJOR maintenance and cleanliness issues, which I will detail further. However, my polite and civil conversation with their GM, Thomas Mitchell, was also an exercise in futility. I found him dismissive, non-challan, and patronizing. Ever issue I addressed was met with excuses and explanations; which do me no good as a guest to change my experience. He used phrases like "it is what it is", and "for the price, it was an acceptable room", and using the standard COVID excuse for repairs and updates not getting done. The issues include: Booking and reservation errors that were not corrected or compensated Dirty carpets in hallways on all floors Offensive "fishy" smell in the hallways in the morning Slow elevator that is too small for a family with luggage Inadequate parking close to the entrance and only elevator Bathroom tiles loose Shower head encrusted with hard water that causes the spray to go in several directions; as well as spray the wall and run down to puddle on the floor with the curtain closed Evidence that they are aware and have attempted sloppy repairs of the sheetrock New curved curtain rod in the shower, with the brackets for the one left on the wall Inferior quality linens and towels TV that required "unplugging and plugging back in" before use Hot tub is luke warm at best with low output from jets Bed uncomfortable Door to room that squeaks with use Inferior lighting in the bathroom and vanity area As we drove around Caldwell over the weekend, we saw several other chain hotels/ motels that would have been a better experience. Unless you enjoy staying in dives, do NOT stay in this facility.

Best Western Caldwell Inn and Suites provides great rooms at great rates and an outstanding breakfast. The convenient location, plentiful parking and secure environs are a bonus. The staff is always great, as well. Little things matter, too. Showers accommodate all sizes, beds and sheets are great quality and everything always works properly. Outstanding place to stay!

I got a reservation confirmation in the morning for my room at the Best Western on the app. When I got to the front desk in the evening I was told they would not give me a room since my mailing address was within 30 miles of the hotel. I was given no notice a head of time that they weren't allowing locals to book rooms. I was coming back from an out of state business trip and didn't have access to my parents house which is where my mail goes when I am out of town. Right now I am sitting at the Holiday Inn four miles away where there is no such bizarre policy. I actually stayed at that exact Best Western in the past. So much for loyalty to guests. I stay at hotels for work all the time. I have never encountered such nonsense.

My husband and I were in town to visit my mother and were very impressed with how charming and clean this motel was. The room and bed were very comfortable, the hot breakfast items and variety were outstanding and I used the fitness room and lobby computer during our stay. The swimming pool was also clean and well maintained. We will stay here again when we come for the holidays!

Stayed for one night while traveling from the Redwoods to Yellowstone, Kids enjoyed the pool. Our room had three queen beds and was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, and the patio next to it.

Front desk was rude, unhelpful. I rented this room (with plenty of time) front desk man told me that they do not rent to locals. I explained that it was for church family members from LA n he still made very difficult the whole process and was super rude about it! Looked like he was trying to make me cancel!!

This Best Western was not the best! 2 1/2 maybe 3 stars at the most. Lobby was ok, outside appearance was ok. Room had a musty smell and would not get as cool as I would like it. There was a water leak under sink and water was coming from under tile. Not sure what was going on there. I did appreciate the breakfast. It was nice to get breakfast these days. Not worth the $480 I spent on three nights.

I'm a Best Western Rewards member, and have usually had consistently good experiences when traveling. I made a reservation ahead of time, as I wanted to make sure during COVID that we could count on a clean and well-maintained hotel. The first room we were assigned to had something behind the door that the 4 housekeeping ladies who were sent up to inspect it said were leaves behind the bathroom door and a stale, musty odor. It was also dark and small. We were moved to a much larger and sunny room that did not smell after my son had complained at the reception desk and the housekeepers were sent up. Breakfast was available, and we sat outside on the patio to eat, which was a great option with COVID on the rise again. Beds were comfortable, and we slept well.

First I would say that this was a great place to stay with a friendly staff for several years before new management or ownership took over. I checked into two rooms to stay Monday thru Friday and one of the rooms had a non- functioning air conditioner that I put up with the first night and informed them of the next morning. They had a technician look at it to no avail. So I was told by the front desk that they could not move me to another room with a functioning AC without management approval and by the way, the manager was at the fair so this might take awhile. Ok so went to eat supper, came back, still no word. Front desk told me to get my stuff out of that room and come back to sign paperwork for the room I was being moved to. Computer would not take the change so the manager told the front desk to tell me to go back to my room or leave. I asked to speak to the manager and was given a number that went to voicemail so I left a message asking them to explain to me why I had to stay in a hot room if other rooms were available. I then went outside and called Best Western customer service and they called the hotel while I was on hold. At that point I was told to leave and the front desk called the police to escort me from the property. I was visibly frustrated but never used vulgarity or threatening words. The front desk person told me I was asked to leave because I said she was not being helpful. Makes me appreciate the service I receive from the Hilton family of hotels. I have traveled extensively for 30+ years and stayed in hotels across the country and have NEVER experienced anything close to this. Sadly I think it's where we are in society now. Bottom line, my two rooms were booked a contract rate that has existed for decades and management new they could sell that hot room and the others to someone else for more $.

Had to cancel a room was going to Caldwell for my husband 65 birthday 30 minutes away from home we got a call that because of the intense Smoke in boise what we had planned had to cancel I called and this was the first time I heard they would charge my card their service desk rude and said to call Tommy the next day I did and again very very rude lady would not let me talk to him then she hung up on me I would give them a zero if I could so dissatisfied with the customer service won't ever stay at best western again don't give them a card

While our stay at the property was ok, dealing with the General Manager, Mr. Thomas Mitchell, to get left behind item return was a complete FAILURE. Was told "Not their responsibility" to get items back to guests. All I was requesting was to put item in box so I could generate shipping label and schedule pickup. Would not help and did not return emails. How are we supposed to get them a box when we do not know size needed or how to get to them? Ship them a box and HOPE it is correct size? Travel with boxes? This whole fiasco was very disappointing. Finally a local friend had a friend who lives in the area and she went out of her way to retrieve my item and ship to me.

The rooms were large and very clean. You don't have to have housekeepers unless you ask for them. Basic hot breakfast provided. I had a problem at checkout as the bill was not what was quoted to me and there was a different price on the room every day with weekend prices very exorbitant for what is provided. The manager reduced the bill but it was still more than I agreed on but unfortunately I didn't write down the quote so I had no proof of what was quoted. It's a good hotel other than that. Just be sure you write down your quote and check your bill when you check out.

This is by far the worst Best Western we have stayed at. The AC was out in the hallway, so we couldn't enjoy the lounge space outside of our room. We were literally drenched in sweat from our walk down the hall/up the stairs to our room. When we reached the room, ants were crawling over the side tables, in the drawers. We told the front desk early the next morning, and when we got back late that night, ants were still seen. Next morning I woke up to ants all over my bed, in my 4 year olds hair/clothing. I reported this at check out and there was no apology. On the drive home I picked multiple ants off of my body and 4 year olds. Both of us had mysterious bug bites on our bodies. Also, my 11 year old daughter and friends found multiple dead spiders in the pool and she stated she saw hairs all over the bottom of the pool when she put her goggles on. Disappointing stay for $200 a night.

Front Desk was superb. They went over and beyond my expectations. Staff was nice and friendly. Room had a musty odor to it and needs to be renovated. The ice machine did not work on the first floor so I had to go to the third floor for ice. The fitness center was underwhelming. The indoor pool was great. Overall because of the staff, especially the front desk personnel I gave this hotel a 4 out of 5.

This hotel was unkept, dirty, and outdated. Our room was filthy. There was a leaking ceiling tile in the hallway that eventually fell down revealing mold. Holiday Inn up the street in Nampa is WAY better.

Staff needs to be helpful. The front desk check in charged my card twice instead of the difference on the other card and then could care less Chris (lady) had no level of service let alone a low level. My room smelled horrible wet but probably because its NEXT door to the hotel laundry room. Also room 101 should not be given to any living breathing human! You hear the staff go in and out across the hell the laundry next door the lobby noise the elevator opening and closing the housekeeping cart getting loaded the new person at the front desk...and the list goes on and one...btw I was only there one night. Also as an adult with 3 kids (on reservation) we did not get extra towels soap ect...for $312 this was a waste of money time and i wish I could take back these 22 hours I was there

I traveled a lot before the Covid situation. Across the US I have chosen Best Western for many good reasons. But I suppose even the best water melon has a bad seed now and then and this place is BW's bad seed. Let me spit it out for you. You won't get maid service unless you ask for it. No TP? Need fresh towels? Want your bed made up? Go somewhere else. Here you must ask for it before 9 AM or do without. Register a complaint? Don't bother. The GM and staff are not people oriented. Policy...existent or not...is their answer to any question. Prefer a place that is well maintained inside and out? Go somewhere else. The place is in desperate need of a make-over. Don't complain. You should just be glad they found your reservation. Want to use the swimming pool? Good luck. There are policies that can cause it to be suddenly closed. Want to leave early to stay at a much better location? You must pay a healthy...even FULL cancellation fee. Want to talk to someone at the front desk? They don't like to hear your problems. They are YOUR problems. I'm not sure how a loud air conditioner is MY problem but it is. I'm not sure how drinking water that is chlorinated and nearly undrinkable is MY problem but it is. So, I hope Best Western reads this and the other 33 'terrible' ratings and does some corrective action, staff training, and site evaluations to insure their rewards customers and others a much better experience. Right now the BW Caldwell Inns & Sweets is the bad seed in an otherwise great water melon patch of places to stay.

The room was very well furnished and comfortable. Cleanliness was outstanding. Only problem was the toilet wouldn't stop running after flushing. No maintenance person was available but I was able to fix it myself.

Was canceled after having a confirmation. After arriving was told they were overbooked, probably sold my room so they could get more as was booked as a Best Western Rewards customer discount. Called Best Western Customer service and after one hour on a cell phone connection was told that I had a room at another hotel about 20 minutes away and when I got there there was a party going on in the lounge area and took about 10 minutes to get attention. The clerk was told me that there was no reservation and totally indifferent to the problem if not down right rude and told me I would have to pay a much greater amount for a room than the Best Western agent quoted. The placed was noisy, smelled, crowed with no distancing and looked dirty so walked out and found a place down the road for half the price and was clean and quiet with helpful customer service. The Red Lion in Ontario Oregon.

Room was nice, jacuzzi broke the night before so couldn't enjoy that, but the manager gave me a little off the room rate. Employees were nice and courteous. Dont park in the back after hours otherwise its a little trek to get in.

While traveling through the Boise area I made a same day reservation at this property over the phone with the front desk at around 2 p.m. The hotel was near full capacity. Less than an hour later I unexpectedly was invited to stay the night with a friend. I immediately called to cancel the reservation but was told I would be charged the full reservation amount because the hotel has a "24 hour cancelation policy." I spoke with the manager and asked for his understanding, but he claimed there was nothing he could do to override this charge, which obviously was not the case. He clearly was more interested in enforcing "policy" than customer relations. I would think twice at staying at this property.

Please with our stay. Staff was great! Room was good. Breakfast was not that great but the fact they offered breakfast was good! Checking in and out was a east and fast. The pool was great. Grounds were clean!

I made my reservation I've 2 month prior to my still. I received confirmation of my reservation and rate for my 3 night stay. Confirming my reservation the night before I arrive, was told my rate could be honored due to policy change. I received no notification of any kind. And was not able to cancel my stay.

I have never had such a bad experience in my life. I work at a hotel so I'm aware of the ins and outs. I'm telling you- book somewhere else!! They changed the rate on us 2 hours after check-in to more then double what I paid for the room. Staff was extremely rude and argumentative. Hotel was dated, dark and very dirty. It got so incredibly bad when I told them I wouldn't pay the extra $88 they wanted to charge they actually LOCKED US OUT of our room with our dog in it!! Needless to say we ended up leaving and booking at the Riverside in Boise instead. Much better experience and only 20 min away!!

We stayed in the family suite which was a great value. Rooms and entire property was clean. Staff was very friendly, and service was stellar. I would not hesitate to reccomend this location to friends or family, and will be my first choice if I find myself in this area again!

This hotel had comfortable beds , clean room. The elevator was small and slow. The maids have to use it as well. Staff was nice. We got there early and wanted to check in, they said there was a $25 fee to check in early. I had never experienced that before and chose not to. I truly feel that the room was expensive for what it was. It wasn't horrible, but shocked at the fact that it needed a remodel badly.

This was not what i expected as a Best Western Plus hotel. Dated, dingy, dirty, dark. I would definitely not stay here again. Not as all worth the money. Other BW plus hotels i have stayed in were clean, bright, fresh with good service. This hotel is not, there are much better options.

Can't believe that they wanted to charge for a late check out. Totally unacceptable. New management they say. I have stayed at this location for many years. Probably have to find a different location. Which is fine

While traveling for a hot springs trip we had to turn back on hwy 55 to the Caldwell area, ended up staying at the BW there, this place was very classy, clean and the folks that worked there were awesome i will defiantly stay here again when in the area

The toilet did not flush properly so the front desk gave us a plunger to use. The stopper in the special jacuzzi tub did not work so couldn't keep water in (we paid more for this feature). There was a straw from some previous visit on the floor under the table that indicated to me the floor had not been carefully vacuumed. All in all, it was one of my worst hotel experiences ever!

This motel was really close to the Caldwell county fair grounds. It was very quiet and had a nice pool. Close to the freeway but not freeway noise. Burger King next door and a Del Taco close by. It's not a brand new motel but I didn't have to get on the freeway to go to the fair grounds. The construction on the freeway will really slow you down so if you can avoid that and stay closer to your destination that's the best. Breakfast was self serve and To-go. Gave them a 4 rating as though they allowed dogs, there wasn't a good area to potty them, lots of stickers, very little grass if any.

We stayed here on an incredibly busy weekend where all of the hotels in the region were at capacity. The staff handled themselves like true hospitality professionals in both an efficient and friendly manner during a very busy time. The building and rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our time at Best Western Plus Caldwell and will stay there the next time we visit the Boise area.

Kris (Chris? Unsure how to spell her name) was extremely accommodating and made sure that I was able to make the most of my brief stay. I was able to snag the last hour reservation of the pool and hot tub area which really made my night (or week, even!) After a very long day on the road, this made me feel like a VIP. She also honored my request for a ground floor room so that unloading and reloading my work vehicle would be as easy as possible. And although I didn't utilize it, the lobby/social area was beautifully decorated and very warm and welcoming.

Mold on ceiling above shower area. Carpets through out hotel are worn and dirty. I will stay at Holiday in a short drive away next time for around the same price. WAAAY nicer.Grab and go brown bag breakfast was no good.

Well.... it's clean and it doesn't smell. That's the good news. It's tired though ... I think this is where Best Western sends their old furniture to die. Let's start with the worn handle as enter the room (picky - I know ... but a harbinger of things to come) - it's just bit a warm fuzzy. The chair is mercilessly banged up and the touch of the dresser has seen better days. Not only was the chair banged up.. it was super uncomfortable- springs hitting u where they shouldn't ! Just remove it guys and put in a nice luggage rack ! Clearly it's in the way getting so banged up. But.... the staff was friendly it was clean .... had a Keurig machine and coffee pods, and descent amount of space and a comfortable bed (let's not get too carried away - the pillow were awful- maybe made of straw ??). One weird thing as I was checking in .... two people ... five minutes apart interrupted my checkin and said they were put into rooms that had occupants !! Yikes ! Needless to say I put that lock thingy on at all times ! I cautiously opened the door as entered the room fearing I too would be walking in on someone.

On 3 separate stays the bedding has been very dirty. The area against the headboard wall is disgusting. The first visit it was room 335. I was bit by bugs over 30 times. The following week a co worker stayed in this same room and was bit over 40 times. There is extreme build up of hair, crumbs, and dirt in the edge of the bed to the wall. The next stay the first room I was assigned had the same issue to add popcorn in the bed. Tonight I look, room 329, and similar build up. Each time I advised the front desk. It has been advised by the front desk staff that they are aware and the hotel cleaning has gone down hill. Tonight I advised of this continued issue and the front desk lady advised she herself has taken pictures and tried to get something done. I asked if the manager just doesn't care and she stated it is the owner who will not do anything. Perhaps BW corporate can apply pressure and fix this. Too late for me, I will not return to this hotel.

Does not support local people. Have stayed here previously with my kids for ‘stay-cation' getaways, but they refuse to cater to anyone who lives in a 30 mile radius of the hotel now. Chris, at the front desk, said it's always been their policy however they were unable to show this supposed policy. After showing Chris the email confirmation of our stay there before, she said she couldn't find it in their system showing we stayed there before. If this was a new policy, it would have been nice for them to either not allow a reservation online when we made it, or had the decency of calling us to let us know 3 weeks ago when we made the reservation or 3 days before when we called to confirm the reservation so we could have made a reservation elsewhere for a better price. Definitely do not recommend a company that doesn't support the community they are built upon.

They were fast and friendly. The lady that checked us in was very nice and efficient. Their breakfast had real food, plus the bagged option! It was very clean and great price for all that came with it!

2020 BMX Regional gold cup finals used Best Western and rates were reasonable. Accommodations nice and best western extended extra service during pandemic to BMX families. Bagged breakfasts with hot burritos in the morning and Burger King next-door along with Dutch coffee

We stayed on our way through Idaho and the room was pretty good but kinda a strange layout. Family suite with two rooms with 2 queen beds in each side not closed off to each other but only containing one bathroom. We were traveling during COVID-19 and were trying to be safe and had chosen Best Western because of their mask policy but the staff didn't wear any and only the plexiglass was used to protect the customers. Ice machines not working on the first two floors so a trip to the third was necessary for that. Bed were ok the pillows were very round and uncomfortable.

What a difference a month makes. I stayed here in June and it was a nice stay. This time was way different. At check in the requests I made were exactly opposite of what I requested. Not only did I request on line but I followed up with phone call to the hotel. And still got it wrong. Once in the room, the AC did not work properly, the bathroom door would not close, the tissue holder would not stay in place, The bathroom fan was so load I thought it was going to come off the ceiling. When we asked for clean wash clothes, we were told "we dont have any". No trash service. Frankly I am growing tried of business using COVID as a excuse for poor customer service. Most of this is just being lazy .

the unavailability to use the pool other than a reserved hour per day regardless if the pool was reserved or not was not right. Breakfast was unacceptable. Maid service was only available if requested. Not the best bang for your buck. Not what I have been used to with the best western chain of hotels. The beds were hard as sleeping on a concrete floor.

I spend 24-28 weeks a year in hotels for business. This hotel is in my top ten maybe top five worst hotel stays. Room was not cleaned once during my five night stay. I do understand that with Covid going on room cleanings are diminished somewhat but not nonexistent. On Wednesday (day 3 of no cleaning) I brought this to the attention of the desk clerk. As of Thursday night still no room cleaning. Hallways not vacuumed the same dirt that was in the hallway on Sunday when I arrived is there on Thursday afternoon. Today the elevator is also in operable seems kind of like the cherry on the top of one of my worst stays in a hotel for the week. Can't wait to lug all my luggage down from the third floor to leave this place tomorrow. When I have business in Caldwell, Idaho again I'll pick another hotel even if it's 20 miles away before I'll stay in this place again.

Save yourself the time, money and aggrevation of dealing with this company and their HORRIBLE customer service. The rooms are not clean, during times like these we can not lack in the cleaning at all PERIOD

With everything going on and recently getting married and moving I came back to idaho to get some more things to move back East and while doing so I booked a room here. I was told I am not alllowed to stay because I am a resident,even though I moved months ago but due to covid and not having a house out East yet don't have an adress to change it too. So I didn't update my info on my is yet and the lady behind the desk made sure to mock me about that instead of being understand and kept saying call Priceline since I booked through them. Well I called Priceline and they offered to change the name on the room and my husband has a Georgia ID so he comes in and they refuse to let us stay after they just said to call Priceline to have it switched! That's when it changed to race! Because my husband was black she then refused to change the room after making me call Priceline and said they would change it and proceeded to call police on me . The manager did nothing but pace back and fourth and wouldn't even speak to me and when I walked outside to make sure my husband was okay when he walked out and I came back into the lobby The lady behind the desk (another one) was talking crap about me loud enough for guests to hear and I'm also right there!!!!!! Poor management poor employees and disgusting world we live in! STOP JUDGING PEOPLE FOR COLOR !!!!! Will NEVER go to another best western again worst experience ever!!!!!

Great staff and a nice place to stay. The decor and feel of the hotel is nice and the location is really convenient. I will surely consider staying here again if traveling through the Caldwell, ID area.

We've been having good experiences with Best Western hotels and this was another one. Easy check-in, clean room, all amenities work (A/C, TV, microwave, refrigerator) and easy check-out. Easy-off from the 84 freeway but quiet with no traffic noise in our room. We would definitely stay there again.

I was impressed with the appearance, service, and amenities. We only stayed 1 night but it was nice to stay and be fully rested. Our room had a jacuzzi tub so it was extra special. The rooms were clean and furnished nicely. The pandemic does change things but this hotel is carrying on as well as they can.

Poor customer service. They blamed it on the general manager and then the general manager tried to blame me. When that didnt work blamed her staff. I have worked in hotels for 13 years and even as AGM , this was poor service and a discount with apology should have been give . Didnt even get an apology.

During the quarantine my husband and I moved away and had to return for work and personal business. The facility doesn't allow residentials to stay at their hotel. Even though we had our lease agreement for our new home, we were not allowed to extend our stay another night as needed and were rudely told we were not to return till our licenses reflected our new address. We had no problems setting up our stay that we did over the phone, and explained our situation only while we were actually there. We were in a quarantine, we couldn't change our address on our lisences., everything was shut down!

Beds are like sleeping on the floor. I ended up sitting in the chair my hole body was hurting . Also the table in the room was filthy from the last person that was here. Ended up checking out and going to a deferant hotel the next day

I spent the worst weekend at this hotel. The beds are rock hard, the sheets and blankets are cheap. The room noise was terrible, I could not sleep all weekend. The noise of the screaming pipes in the wall and the doors that have a large gap around them, so you can hear everyone talking in the halls all night. One usb plug. The lighting was very dark. I will not stay here again.

This place was booked by a company for us and we loved it here. The room was clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was the highlight! It was very good with a great variety. The food was always hot and the place clean, the lady who took care of it was amazing!!! She kept everything going and was always checking the food and keeping things full and ready to go. The hot tub was relaxing and inside, being winter it felt so good. I would definitely stay here again!

We came to Caldwell to visit a sick friend. While we stayed at Best Western we enjoyed our well kept, clean rooms, pools, and fitness room. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty, and a good variety. Staff were prompt, attentive, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed a nice stay and recommend Best Western Plus Caldwell to anyone looking for a place to stay in Caldwell.

Nice hotel for the amount paid. Clean rooms and a lot to choose from for breakfast. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. They let us check in a little earlier than the check in time, which made it more convient for us.

We stay at various hotels several times a year. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Clean rooms, nice people and great atmosphere.We travel with 2 german shepards and they were welcomed with oopen arms. Plenty of room to walk them outside. Highly receommended!

We were on the third floor which had a guest area let up like a living room if people from several rooms wanted to gather and visit there. This was a great place to spend a night or more. The lobby is very inviting. They had cookies to munch on or coffee if you needed to wait while checking in . The front desk staff were very attentive and gave options for the hotel. Many places to eat close by. Close to the highway but the noise didn't project to the hotel. Breakfast had everything you would want to eat, cold and hot items plus juices and coffees.

Didn't recieve the room i had reserved and paid for ,,, complained and nothing was done about it but i was still charged for the upgraded room and given a regular room ,, loud noises all night and the floir would of been softer than the bed!!

We stay here every year when visiting family for the holidays! Always a great experience! We upgraded to the King Jacuzzi Suite for the first time and was very impressed! The staff are great every year! Safe and caring environment! Thank you EVERYONE!

Horrible service is my #1 complaint! I called this location prior to our booking to find out if they could offer a better price for a "King Suite" that I had found, & was ready to book, online through a 3rd party @ $112. In my experience hotels will often offer a better price for last minute bookings (we were arriving next day) in order to fill rooms. I explained what I had found & the guy told me he could offer a King for $99...great not huge but every enny counts! We booked! Upon arrival I was extremely disappointed that the room we had been given was not the King Suite. I immediately called the front desk to ask why. The guy told me that I got what I asked for & that he had told me it was a King & that he told me the King Suite price. We had not discussed any room aside from the "King Suite" nor had any price but $99 been mentioned. He continued to argue with me even asking "so what's the problem?" !! Not once did he accept that there had clearly been a miscommunication OR try to remedy the situation.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The first was much better. This trip we needed a place for 3 people to sleep. We ended up with a king suite with sofa bed. Which would have been great had the sofa bed been usable. It had bolts missing and the mattress was horrible. Our son ended up just sleeping on it in couch form. At checkout we mentioned the condition of the sofa bed. He said that they have been waiting for a year and a half for new ones and the the good ones were located in the corporate suites not the normal ones. If that's the case don't sell it as one that has a sofa bed. We asked for some money off because we didn't get what we paid for we were told that he didn't have the power to make such a change and would have to talk to his manager. When we got our final statement in an email they did take $30 off. So just check everything at check in don't wait until you go to bed. The breakfast people could also use new chafer dishes to put the food in, it would help with the presentation.

The man who checked us in was nice. The other clerk was dismissive and rude. The bathroom really needs updated the door is warped , the molding needs replaced, beds need updated,very hard. The man who checked us in was polite the man with him was dismissive and quite rude. Upside the breakfast attended and morning clerk were both very pleasant.

Extremely hard beds. Minimum breakfast. Worth $25 per night. Stayed 3 nights WITHOUT maid service and they still upped our rate by $10 the 3rd night. We will never stay here again in the future. Stayed at the BW in Jerome, Idaho and it was incredibly WONDERFUL. We will drive from Jerome to Caldwell and then back to Jerome in the future.

Tried to surprise my mom with a stay but ended up being told after arriving that I couldn't stay due to being a resident of Caldwell. I booked online so you would assume they would deny it there but it didnt. I had everything ready to surprise her and got told I had to go home.

The ambiance of the hotel and the staff were superb. Highly recommend it to anybody visiting Caldwell. Any parent/s visiting the College of Idaho would find the Hotel so convenient since its within a walking distance from the hotel.

We came down for my son's football game and the hospitality was awesome. The early check in to the morning breakfast before the tailgate was right on time. It's nice to get a good night sleep before a great game of football.

I can't say enough about the front-desk staff and management of this hotel. The room was very spacious and clean, and the hot breakfast had a nice variety of items and was well stocked at all times. I highly recommend this hotel; our stay was first-rate. Thank you very much.

We had an enjoyable stay at this location. The staff was courteous and friendly and made us feel welcomed. Good location near several restaurants and easy on/off from the freeway. Also several shopping centers are nearby.

Kind of a different location across from a truck stop and tucked behind a fast food place. The entrance was nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I did notice some road noise but not bad. The breakfast was very adequate. Pretty good stay.

Everything was very clean. There were plenty of towels in the room. Bed was fairly comfy and pillows were great! There was a fridge and Keurig type coffee maker! The pool was warm and we really enjoyed it! They had cookies in the evening! Breakfast had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, and the usual continental items. Attendant was friendly. Nice, quiet motel. I will stay here again!

We enjoy staying at BW because its always clean, friendly and relaxing ! Their point system is an added plus which never expires. Thus, it will always be our go to when traveling locally or out of state :)

If you call the best Western he will keep you on speakerphone and you will hear everything that he says to his customers. I was on hold for over an hour. But I knew everything about his life what his dislikes are. One of them is his curvy women. And how he was in the military and his parents shunned him off. Giving the F word to him. This is more than I need to know. Very unprofessional. I'm on vacation I want to be happy I don't need to know someone else's dilemmas. Please don't stay here. If a man named Thomas works there please run Not a great experience

It really doesn't matter what city or state I'm traveling in or to. I can always depend as well as look forward to the time I stay in a Best Western Brand Hotel. And my travels have me away from home almost 15 to 20 days a month and best western has become my home away from home. The friendly staff treat you just like family so much so there's times you just done want to leave.

The Good: Clean, spacious, very friendly staff (5 stars), decent breakfast, good TV channel selection. Comfortable beds. Overall very good. The Bad: Little bit of morning noise traffic, but not bad. AC/Heat unit is a little loud, but again, not too bad. Unless your an incredibly light sleeper, you'll be fine. The ugly: No bacon at breakfast, I almost cried.

We really enjoy it here at this hotel The breakfast was very good and good variety - eggs, cereal, biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes, sausage or bacon, waffles, bagels, and excellent cinnamon rolls. The pool/hot tub were very clean.

Bed bugs!! Mattresses and box springs in our room were covered with protectors, they were living behind the mounted headboards... woke up middle of night they were everywhere! Bites ALL over us. Killed three of them and took them to the front desk. Then checked out. Spoke with mgmt, very apologetic, understandably, this was our first experience ever with these horrifically nasty things. Lesson number one learned, if you walk into your hotel room and it has a funny, sour smell, don't assume its nothing, do not take your bags in, turn around and run out of there. Lesson two learned, don't assume the room is clear of them just because beds have protectors on them. ...if in doubt get out... Been a nightmare taking precautions to not transfer them into our home.

We stayed here for 1 night on 8/18. Mason was working the front desk and was fantastic. There were 6 of us (3 couples); the registration was quick and easy. He helped us pick a restaurant. The housekeeper was on the floor (3rd), she was also very nice! Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is very clean. If you reserve early the rate is ok. The closer you get to Rodeo week they jack the price up. Hotel check in, not much was said. Went out of their way to tell me about express check out.

The experience at the Best Western Motel in Caldwell was an easy trip. We stay at this motel every time we go to Caldwell which is usually 3 times a year. One of the main reasons we stay there is because of the pool.

Older but nice property. The AC unit was loud and rattled the wall but it worked. Great staff. comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean. I would stay again. Easy off and on freeway! Good location. The price was good. We didn't stay for breakfast. Easy check in and out.

Stayed here for 2 nights while working in the area. Because I checked in late, I ended up on the first floor near the pool. It was very full both nights with families and small children, but the room was very quiet. The A/C unit worked very well and was pretty quiet. The breakfast in the morning was hot, fresh, and done early both days. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. The room rate was reasonable for the area and time of year as well. Overall, it was a most pleasant stay.

It`s a nice, affordable, pet-friendly hotel. Staff every friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with lots of options. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only problem was no grass for pets, you have to walk to the nearby Jack-in-the-Box to find some. Overall, had a great stay.

This was a very affordable and well maintained hotel. Near the freeway, but not too close to the noise. We had a really good stay here and the breakfast was good as well. The temperature of the swimming pool was great and the water was clean. The only negative I saw was the one small elevator would get very busy and backed up. No stairway close to the lobby.

Killed over 20 ants and finally gave up. Reported problem but hotel was sold out. No accommodation for the problem except a promise to fix it for the next guest, Needless to say, our sleep was not pleasant.

We loved this hotel. We got the two bedroom suite that has two rooms with two queens in each room. The pool was heated and the hot tub nice and warm. Free breakfast was good with a variety to choose from!

Nice hotel, close to freeway but can't hear freeway. Few minutes from downtown Caldwell. Pool is big for indoor. Check out is noon. Breakfast typical continental. 2 queen bed room doesn't come with a couch.

Our belongings were looked through when we were in our room. Some of the drinks out of our cooler were stolen and some of our food was stolen. I have requested to speak to a manager twice and haven't received a call back.

What a lovely comfortable week we've had. We are regular visitors to zante, in particular tsilivi. This hotel is just what we wanted, central, friendly staff and an amazing shower! Pool was quite cold and was too deep for me being deeper than me all the way round so not great for children in my honest opinion. Sun terrace was an added bonus if you're not keen on being round the pool all the time. The only negative, and it was not a dealbreaker for me, but the breakfast was very basic. I'm not a fan of cooked breakfast(which from what I could see was egg or beans) so my only option was cereal or toast which did get a little boring. Perhaps some pastries etc would have been nice. Staff could not do enough for you. Carrying cases, wiping tables, they were very keen to keep it spotless. Rooms were spacious and shaded from the sun. My 11 year old boy loved the fact he had a proper bed not a camp bed for a change. The hotel is situated behind the contessina restaurant on the main strip. 5 mins from the beach walking and immediate access to the lovely bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, and as long as the prices don't get hiked up, we would definitely stay here again

It started out a little frustrating. I reserved a week in advance after talking to the front desk to make sure they could accommodate our needs. After a very long day of travel we arrived only to find out that they didn't have the room I reserved! My Mother is 82 and I requested a walk in shower and close to the pool. We were on the opposite side of the hotel from the pool and the room had a bathtub. I went back to the front desk and I was told by both front desk staff that they don't have a double queen rooms with a walk in shower. I thought that was ridiculous. The gentleman who ran the desk overnight and the woman who worked the next morning both told me that yes they have double queen rooms by the pool with walk in showers!! The room was clean and comfortable and spacious. It just wasn't what I needed or what I reserved. The breakfast was good and plentiful with lots of choices. The pool was warm and the hot tub was hot. I'm not sure how to make sure that next time I get the correct room and I hate repeating myself!

I reserved a room with 2 queen beds for 3 nights at $149 per night. Friday night we arrived very late and tired after a full day of driving. While my husband unloaded the vehicle and then parked it, I was doing my usual routine: due to having 2 small dogs I have to get on my hands and knees and check for pills, candy, wrappers, etc., which they could eat. I did find candy, rubber bands, dog food and the WORST - what seemed to be cat feces. There was a lot of it at the sides of the night stand and back of it. I picked it up with Kleenex and disposed of it. I also found a Styrofoam "to go box" in the corner on the floor to the right of the fridge. Then I opened the night stand drawer and on the phone book more feces!! We think possibly the cat was sleeping in the drawer?? At this point my husband took the phone book and feces, and also the Styrofoam container down to the desk. Kim and another woman at the desk were appalled! Kim offered to try to get us a different room but my husband told her not to bother because I had already cleaned it up. I had also used Lysol spray. We were absolutely too tired to move everything. As we were getting ready to get into bed, I removed the coverlets and on the underside of one was what appeared to be a stain from feces. I just folded it and put it up on the closet shelf. Saturday after being out all day, came to our room and all was satisfactory. I had food to put in the fridge and discovered a coffee shop container of latte in there. Also found a bug of some kind between the sheets. Sunday evening upon returning after being gone all day, we found some of our wash cloths and towels still in the tub. Had to go to the desk to get a wash cloth and bath mat. Coverlets were now on the bed - including the dirty one. I took all of these items down to the desk. Monday morning I went to check out. Ana was the receptionist and Stacy [-] the manager. Ana was compassionate and apologized profusely (as did Kim prior to this). Stacy was unfriendly ad confrontational. She seemed to feel I was making things up. She said they hadn't had a cat there. She also said that when 2 maids checked our room Saturday morning they said it was perfect! I told her, yes, I had cleaned everything up! I received my bill and found that 1 night was billed at $169, one at $179 and the third night @ $99. Stacy never did apologize for our bad experience. They will comp me for the 99 night and adjust the others.

We have stayed at this location several times. It is convenient to visit our grandkids. It has been fine in the past but the activities on the property were concerning this time. It is a non-smoking facility which we really like but that means the smokers congregate right outside the doors. Had an end room and there were a group of people having a party right outside next to us till after 2 am. Very loud! Also a group up and running the halls till all hours... Rooms could use s cleaning also.

This is a regular stay for us when were in this area, the breakfast is EXCELLENT! Seriously, like I would pay at a restaurant for it. Its that good. and overall this is just a really solid hotel. However this time we were a little disappointed,. When we checked in, I got my Mom settled in the room and went to unload the car as usual, and when I got back, the key card didnt work and Mom told me someone else had tried to get into our room. I went down to the desk and i guess it was a crazy accident where both he and us were given the same room at the same time and both of us were issued key cards for the same room. SUPER WEIRD! We got it worked out, but it kinda creeped my Mom out unfortunately. Also after getting settled in, I noticed we had no t.v. remote, so I went back to the desk and asked for one, but told him it wasn't important as we were going to be watching basketball playoffs all night. He smiled and said he'd find me one anyway,. but he didn't. Like I said, no big deal. But don't say you will, then fail to do so. Same man at the desk who checked us in. Again, not a big deal and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Lastly I have to say I LOVE the sweet little black kitty!!!! We are some of the regular guest who have seen her for years and LOVE that cat and WOULD be very upset if some cat hating jerk made you get rid of her. I remember the first time we saw her, some monster had tied her tail in a knot. The next time we saw her, her tail had been partially amputated. Yet somehow, after all that she is SO sweet and somehow still loves people and wants lovins more than food. Such a sweetie! A HUGE Thank you for taking such good care of her.

The front desk manager Pete was not helpful, we were traveling with our one year old and asked for a carton of milk for our baby, and he was unwilling to give us one giving us the excuse “ they're just for breakfast and he didn't have the key.” We had been here two prior nights and they gave them to us on both nights without any hesitation or asking any questions. On top of that, the same day, our room was serviced but they gave us no towels. We went down and delt with Pete again and he grilled us on why we needed so many. Like it was a burden or there was a limit on towels. Granted we only asked for six. We were in town for a soccer tournament, traveling with our three kids. My daughter is showering more than once a day after games. And there 5 people staying in one room. We paid $175 a night to stay at this Best Western, you would think they would want to accommodate you a little more. At that rate, the number of towels shouldn't matter. Are they not included in the cost of the room? We will never book at a Best Western again.

Great place. The king sized bed was probably the most comfortable one that I have ever slept in! Love the outdoors; older, lots of flowers and greenery, and wonderful birds! Nice pool. Outdoor setting with barbeque for groups and parties; can bring their own meat to BBQ.

Considering this is a Best Western Plus I would expect the exterior of this hotel to be at the very least presentable. The parking lot was littered with weeds and old leaves. The flower beds need tending and mulched. Even a good leaf blower would have helped especially at the entrance. This place is a poor example of Best Western Plus. Needs some work. Inside is better except having to view stray cats being fed on the patio while eating breakfast.

Stay at the BW Caldwell at least 4 times a year. Always great restful stay. Good breakfast and great staff. We travel in with a small group (seven). BW coordinates all rooms under my card as team leader and each member feels well taken care of after a long day of travel and meetings.

Quality rooms and service. Everything from checking in to checkout was great! Would definitely stay here again. The breakfast looked and smelled delicious even though we did not have any the dining room was packed.

When your a senior year is easy to find fear but this nice hotel takes care of you. I like safe bathroom grab bars, easy walk to room and a front desk greeting. Got it! A good free breakfast topped it off.

I didn't have a reservation and needed 2 rooms for a party of 5 and the staff at this hotel were great in helping me out. They offered me a suite instead of two rooms and it was great. The suite was spacious with a king bed and 2 queen beds. There were also a small table and chairs in it. It was very nice. The staff asked if I was a rewards member and I said no I didn't know about it. They explained it to me so I signed up for it. The continental breakfast had a lot of selections to choose from and the food was good. The hotel is located near Burger King if you need something later in the day or evening to eat. All in all it was a pleasant stay and if I travel in that area again I will stay there again.

We stay at this hotel whenever we visit family in the area, which is several times a year. We have never been disappointed in all the years we have been to Caldwell, whether short or long stays. I highly recommend it.

Check in was fast. Room was spotless, enjoyed extra large room with garden bathtub. Pool and hot tub was clean and liked that it was open 24/7. Very friendly atmosphere, welcomed every time we passed through the lobby.

Checkout time is noon, but housekeeping will start beating on your door at 9:30 seeing if you are still in there, even with "do not disturb" on the outside of the door. After I confirmed for the seventh time that I was still in the room, housekeeping could be heard bickering to each other about having to wait to clean the room.

This has, by far, been the best experience in every aspect of my stay at this price. I travel for business and they went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. This will be the hotel I stay at the next time I'm in this part of Idaho.

I've stayed at this location before - at least twice - would have stayed more often but it was steeply priced on the occasions I could have stayed so I chose a place at the Boise airport to stay instead. I'm glad to be back at this BW. My room and visit is always fantastic.

Overall an excellent hotel to stay at. The price for what you receive makes your stay an excellent value. The staff is willing to work with you if there are problems and there were rarely problems during my stay. It is a very pet friendly hotel and the staff like to have your pets there.

This hotel had a smoke odor problem. It seemed to attract guests with pets and guests that smoked. To get inside the hotel with our grandchildren in tow we had to walk through people standing outside smoking. Everytime. The smoke seemed to be in the ventilation system because even when they moved my daughter and her family to a new room you could still smell it. One good thing was the breakfast was tasty and the pool was quite nice.

My first venture to Idaho and the Caldwell area, found a Best Western and knew this part of my trip would be without event. The location was great, the room very comfortable and my other travelers were made to feel at home. - will be back again.

My husband and I stayed overnight while traveling to SW Washington state. We were pulling our new travel trailer and had to park in an empty field with the big rigs. It probably would have been okay except for the fact that it was raining and the lot was a mucky, sloppy nightmare! The room itself was small but efficient and served our needs well. It was nice to have a table and chairs in the room! The breakfast was the regular hotel fare of scrambled eggs, roasted taters, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruits, yogurt, etc. The eggs and taters were actually quite tasty but the biscuits and gravy was awful! I took one bite and set them aside for the trash. Flavorless, runny gravy on dried out biscuits. I do believe they were the worst biscuits and gravy I have ever had!

Pretty nice place, would stay here again. The staff was swapping out mattresses for the rooms which will be a great addition, our room had 1 new and 1 old, slept on both what a difference. The kids enjoyed the pool, it was too cold for me.

We always stay here on our way to visit family and have never had a problem. Sometimes we have family come to the hotel to have pizza on the patio and swim . I feel safe and the staff has always been friendly and helpful.

I've stayed in many best western hotels because of my traveling so I decided to stay here for a family event we had going on. I stayed for 6 nights and it was a decent stay. The room was on the third floor and had a strange smell to it, like an old smell even with all the air fresheners they had in the hall ways. One night they left the window to the hallway open because of this, it was in the low 30s that night. They were changing out beds on the first and second floors during our stay so that made for extra noise in the mornings. The breakfast was decent, sausage eggs, and potatoes were the main things among cereal, waffles, and fruits. The hotel is close to a lot of things in the area so that's a plus. Try out the coffee spot right in front, it's awesome! I would recommend looking for a room in nampa if you have the option but if not then this hotel will suffice. The pool was extremely cold for an indoor pool so don't recommend that during the winter months. They also Had an ant problem in the room so look out for that.

If the pool had been working it would have been a top rating. Need to get it fixed. Too COLD. The patio dining area is really attractive as is the pool so I am eager to visit again and try both. Rooms are very comfortable and I like the idea that the shower/toilet area is separate from the large sink/mirror dressing area. Ample parking and very convenient to College of Idaho.

It was a great place to be able to take my grandkids spend the night enjoy the pool. We had a jazzui tub I our room that was very relaxing. My grandkids enjoyed having a hot breakfast they never ran out of food the hotel was busy as it was a snowy night.

This is a good place to stay. The staff here is excellent and very helpful. The breakfast is typical hotel style. The rooms are good sized. Our room had a very strong cleaner smell. The carpets need to be replaced. Bed was hard. Overall a decent place to to stay.

We stayed 2 nights. Staff was very Friendly. Has button automated doors that allows you to easily walk your dog into the building without having to physically hold the door open. Has 24 hour access to swimming pool and hot tub, So remember to bring your swim suit. parking lot, is a little tight, but has plenty of nearby parking for large truck and trailers. For economy minded people. A burger king is located next door. Easy on and off access to freeway.

my work has me in Nampa Id on a regular basis, this is the place to stay for location and price. The hotel is nice with large rooms with a desk. The internet is workable for the area. Breakfast is great with lots of variety offered. It's a great location if you don't need to be in Boise proper.

Great,Clean, and convenient location for my needs. Very good breakfast and comfortable and safe location. Not to far from downtown area many very good restaurants. On future trips to the area I will stay at this location again.

We have stayed here every Christmas Eve for about 4 years now when in town visiting family for the holidays. Facility is well maintained and clean! Room comfortable and Clean! My wife always enjoys breakfast! Also, Christmas Eve Staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed! Highly recommend!!!

Newly remodeled, affordable hotel with all the amenities and Friendly staff. I needed a room overnight for my wife and I and my grandkids. It was a short visit the pool was great for entertaining my grandkids and we had a newly remodeled king suite! The staff was very helpful.

Stayed here on my way to Kansas to see my family. Typically good quality Best Western Inn, well located and well staffed. The room was excellent and convenient since I had my two dogs traveling with me.

we have stayed here once before and it was good so did so again. front desk folks are just nice and helpful. they seem to really care you are staying with them. I can say the breakfast was always good but it never changed the 4 days we were there. eggs, sausage and taters. figured maybe bacon one day but no. again it was very good just the same. no matter how busy it was the food was always there and everything was replenished in a very timely manner. great English muffins . we did have a problem with our room not getting cleaned one day while we were gone. when they did finally come had a guest and were eating so I told the lady we did not want service and just needed clean towels and some tissues. she had to ask someone else what I said. I did not find that customer friendly and a bit upsetting as I know most of the guest spoke English and I feel the employees should be able too also. very clean outside and in

I recently stayed at the Caldwell Inn and Suites. I can't say enough about the staff from the front desk to the breakfast attendant. I arrived unexpectedly one night (10:30pm) earlier than my reservation. Somehow they were able to put me in a room even though everything from Boise to Ontario was filled. I switched rooms the next day and the staff made sure my luggage was safe during the transition. The breakfast had a good selection and items were kept warm. The pool was very warm! When I went to exercise there was no one else around so it was very relaxing. There was a mix-up with the billing, however, It took several attempts to straighten out the charges due to the unexpected arrival and staying in a room reserved for someone else. Even so, the staff was always courteous and willing to fix the confusion. I will certainly choose this hotel again when I visit Caldwell.

Everything looked new and updated. Pleasantly surprised by amenities. Comfortable bed, breakfast was excellent for me and my kids. They were very accommodating with extra blankets. Nice pool and hot tub ( we didn't use) but it was all very appealing and aesthetically pleasing.

The motel had great pricing and the location was very close to where we wanted to be near. The staff was very polite and informative. Would highly recommend this to anyone needing to be in the Caldwell area. Very clean.

The pool is warm the spa jets are strong and the exercise facility has water available. Breakfast in the morning eggs sausage and potatoes served hot. Lots of channels and a clean remote. The beds are soft and toiletries top notch. I would highly recommend this place. There is outdoor seating for breakfast area and the pool too

We always use this hotel when traveling to Lewiston, Idaho. We have never had any problems and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The hotel extererior and rooms are always clean and well upkept.

The good news is that the two people at the front desk, when we checked in, were polite and friendly. The bad news is this is not an attractive area, this hotel seems very old, the small and old elevator smelled, the carpet in many of the common areas looks very worn, the room had an over-whelming odor from the fragrances that they use to try to cover-up other bad odors, and the hot tub was way too chilly! I did not try the breakfast but Hubby said the biscuits were very dry and the eggs over-cooked. Someone should either turn this into a $59 per night hotel or invest a lot of money fixing it up! For the $129 + that I spent for a smelly room, I was definitely ripped off.

This was a one night stopover on our way to see family. I've always been pleased with Best Western and their professional, friendly customer service, cleanliness, and although not what I would consider luxurious ~ very comfortable rooms. I also appreciate their secure fitness rooms.

I've traveled extensively and have seldom had such outstanding service and an enjoyable stay. The room was nice and well maintained and the staff was helpful above and beyond what could even be hoped for. The location just off I-84 and with several restaurants within walking distance (including a Burger King just across the parking lot) was very convenient. And I love how pet friendly they are. Not only would I stay here again but I hope to get to again soon.

We were upgraded to a suite which was good. Hotel is a bit dated and could do with a make over. This was our 24th day on the road trip on a motorcycle and being very tired we were looking forward to a relaxing night and a long sleep. Our room was very comfortable, bed was great, pillows even better and a good bathroom and shower. However, our quiet night was not to be. Around 2.40am we were awoken by loud voices and laughter. We thought it was next door, but the night manager informed us that it was the room immediately below us. We couldn't believe it as the noise was so loud. They quietened down after the night manager spoke to them. We eventually got back to sleep with aircon on and earplugs in but it wasn't our good night. Very disappointing.

Great experience but needs updated. The hotel is very outdated and even smells old. The breakfast could use some work. But staff is great. Hotel was very clean and the pool was perfect! Great stay!!!!

I was just looking for a place to stay on a long trip and Best Western was one of the options. The prices were reasonable so I made my reservation. We got in at 2am and we were greeted by friendly hosts and checked in. The room was comfortable and spotless! I was happy to find out breakfast was served a little later than normal, between 7-10am, since we're not really early birds and it was delicious. They pretty much had everything you could want... biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, a variety of juices, etc... I was so impressed the first time, I booked it again for the following weekend on our way back home. I highly recommend staying at Best Western. It is now my official go to spot!

Hotel staff was great. Service was great. Hotel is could use a little refreshing.When we originally checked in our room had a odor of cigarette smoke. We brought to the attention of the front desk and person running the front desk went above and beyond to get a different room!

When we went to check in the lobby was very muggy like they were not running the AC. The rooms also had a weird smell. The room was clean and the bed was. The location is right off the freeway so that was nice. I have definitely stayed at nicer Best Western Hotels.

We were on our way from a family emergency in South Dakota and came through Idaho to visit parents and other family on our way back to California. We love to stay at the Caldwell BW Inn & Suites when we visit. We always travel with our dogs and they are welcome and we always feel at home here.

Nice stay....right off 84W with a lot of options for food. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a great selection and appreciated the drink machines were open all night! Pet fee was minimal which is also an added bonus.

Not the best location in Caldwell, but otherwise an okay stay. The Best Western is across the street from a truck stop, next to a Burger King and a closed restaurant, with a dusty truck turn around and stock yards upwind. The hotel itself has some nice features, like a small convenience store, a patio with a charcoal barbecue, and another landscaped patio fenced in. The staff were super nice and checked to make sure the room was ready before sending us upstairs to be disappointed. The room itself was dark due to the maroon wall. A/C worked okay, water pressure was good, and we had everything we needed. Scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes were available in ample quantities for breakfast.

We arrived around midnight and appreciated that the someone was at the front desk when we got there. The elevators were also appreciated. The carpeting in the hall on our floor was a little worn in spots, but the hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast offered a good selection. The location next to the freeway, with gas stations nearby, was convenient.

We stayed at Best Western Plus in Caldwell on 6/27. The property is nicely kept, very clean and the room was spacious. Everything was perfect except two weeks prior management changed the start time for breakfast from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. People who are traveling and getting an early start either for business or long drive can't wait until 7 a.m. to have breakfast. In my opinion this type of change is more for management to save money on wages than it is to provide good service to customers. All paperwork in the room still said breakfast started at 6 a.m.

Stayed overnight here on a cross country road trip. The property is well kept and conveniently located just off of I-84. Counter staff was courteous and helpful. The room was spacious, well appointed, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. The complimentary breakfast was very good and consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc. Much better than some hotel breakfasts. Overall, an excellent stop and I would recommend this hotel.

This is a very nice place to stay. The staff was great and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was simple but was fairly good. Would have given it a 5/5 but the bathroom is old and needs remodeling and the breakfast bakery items were only average. Would definitely stay here again.

Arrived very late in the evening and the front desk attendant was very friendly and provided help finding a spot where I could park my Uhaul trailer for the evening. The location is very convenient to the interstate, and the room itself was decent. I remember specifically that the pillows/linens were not great, but for $90 a night, you get what you get. I'd recommend it to travelers passing through the area, as I was, as it is adequate for catching some rest before getting back on the road. I did end up spraining my ankle in the back parking lot while loading up my truck though. There was a manhole cover I didn't see that was about an inch or so below the rest of the payment and I fell pretty hard. I felt pretty dumb, and driving cross country in the middle of a move with a busted ankle was not fun. I'll have to pay better attention next time, but it might be something the owner should look into.

One night here, was at the La Quinta across the street which did not work out. Showed up with no reservation and the front desk folks were great. They fixed us up with a nice room for a reasonable rate. $120.00 which included breakfast. We would stay there again when in the Boise area.

My daughters and I were in town for my granddaughter's Senior Recital at The College of Idaho. From arrival to checkout we were treated with respect. The manager (Linda I believe), checked us in. She was professional and friendly all at once. She and the staff I had contact with really seemed to care about the quality and comfort of their guests stay. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good. It was a nice and quiet stay. Will stay here again!

We drove up to ID for my Wife's birthday and to see son. Our son drove down from Moscow so this was a nice half way meeting point. Best Western Caldwell, ID was a nice quite place to stay. They have a very good breakfast in the morning.

Stayed in BW 4 nights on this trip. All locations were close to where I was working. All were comfortable and clean, the ones with restaurants had good food, Those with out food had recommendations that were excellent

We stay there when working in the area. Always a comfortable bed, and nice staff. the rooms are clean and quiet. I recommend this to anyone that needs to stay in the Caldwell area. We stay there2 or 3 times a year.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was yummy. Lots of options. The pool and hot tub were my favorite. The hot tub was actually hot. The rooms were cozy. The bed was hard, could be updated, but over all it was a good night sleep. I stay at a lot of best westerns. They never disappoint.

Receptionist new my name when I came to check in, it was awesome and I felt so welcome. When I went to use the pool she handed me a towel as I walked by the front desk. WOW I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room we got was perfect. Clean and bright. Wifi was good. Good choice for breakfast. Not many places to eat within walking distance but there was an excellent one across the highway, a family diner that served large portions. Just didn't appreciate the garbage truck at 5:30 am.

Located conveniently just off I-84 in Caldwell. We heard a little traffic noise in our room but not too bad, particularly because we had the heat/air cond fan running continuously. The room was well kept and spacious. The bed was very hard and not to our liking as my wife and I have hip and back issues. Bathroom was clean but not too large. The breakfast was good and pretty typical for a BW. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, cereals, pastries, fruit, coffee, tea and juices. If you're in a hurry and not looking for fancy, it's fine. The hotel is pet friendly ($5.00 for our dog) but their isn't a blade of grass on the property. Our dog is fussy about where to potty so that was a challenge for us. The staff was very helpful and friendly and I'm sure one of the reasons the hotel was so busy.

Had a very good experience staying at the Best Western in Caldwell Idaho. Very relaxing and comfortable. The location was very easy to get to, close to the freeway and to coffee shop. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.

The staff was very nice and the hotel was very pretty. The bed was comfy, but the sheets felt really scratchy is why I didn't give a five. Breakfast was standard, nothing fancy, but did the trick. I would stay here again.

We would have liked to have a room with a king size bed but due to our short time frame, we were not offered on. During checkout, we found out that the kings are available but they go fast. We will be making reservations earlier the next time.

Caldwell is North of Boise and a super quiet place. Very clean and very nice place to stay. Very dog friendly. Great alternative to very busy Nampa and Boise. Staffed by very helpful and friendly people

This chain hotel has a small town homey feeling. I picked it solely based on reviews and really did not know if it was close to my destination. I was happy with stay. Check was ok- nothing special but the person was very animated and friendly. Hotel elevator is slow. Room was average but updated and well maintained. Many small touches in the room showed the personal attention. TV was fine, Wifi was free and fast enough. Plenty of electrical in room for charging. I did not like the thru the wall heater. Seemed hard to get temp to maintain. Bathroom was my only complaint. It was updated but the shower room was much too dark for my expectations. I have to return to Caldwell and plan to stay at this place again.

Very welcoming staff. Great place to stay with pet. The breakfast was wonderful and the pool, jacuzzi and exercise room were addition treats. What a value! My wife and I will be visiting Caldwell again and staying at the Best Western plus

The staff was friendly with an easy check-in. The room was clean however the pillows were very hard and lumpy, not a good nights sleep. When we first enteried the room, it overwhelmingly smelled of heavy-duty "air freshner" but we opened the window and the smell soon dissipated..

we have stayed at this hotel 3 times and find it to always meet our need. We always sleep well there. The establishment is clean and the breakfast seems to have something for everyone. the hotel has a pool that is open around the clock so next time we will bring our swimming suits.

I know I was totally looking cranky and you were still incredibly nice to me. Really appreciated it. The room was great. Price was just right. Location gets us right back (under a minute) on the freeway to our final destination: Home!

One of the better Best Western Hotels that we have stayed at. No extra charge for our pet, very good service, a nice larger room, bed was comfortable and room very clean. Breakfast was above average, good selection and service. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again when traveling through area.

This is a well maintained older property but what makes it stand out are the PEOPLE!! We will be back next year!!!

Hotel was very comfortable and clean. My only negative is that the front entrance lacks signage or something as it was hard to tell where to go in to check in, (other than the circular drive). I'd stay again!

Linda is amazing at taking care of her customers. She is very kind, caring, and she recognizes me in person and on the phone. This location is very enjoyable. I've stayed here probably 100 times over the past 5 years, and i've NEVER had a bad experience. They truly treat me as part of their family.

All of the Best Westerns in the Boise area are a very good value. The King Size beds were new and very comfortable. The Caldwell property had a nice outdoor barbeque area next to the breakfast buffet. The Mountain Home property even has the breakfast at an adjoining restaurant.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room and facility were great. Everything is clean and well maintained. Easy highway access. Lobby was decorated for the holidays with a large christmas tree, made me feel at home. Breakfast was great and dining area was clean.

We have stayed here many times this motel is usually very quite service is great staff always helpfull the breakfast is always well prepared and hot. one of my criteria on all business includes if I see same employees as this indicates a caring owner. the gal who checked us in was same as 5 or 6 years ago and have seen other clerk at least for couple years. also like the ability to get checkout by email.

Please ask me if I want the points or gift. I have stayed at a Best Western Hotel every month in 2017 and have earned over 60,000 points this year alone. This is the only BW that did not seem genuinely nice or thank me for being a rewards member or ask me to choose. It may seem petty but I didn't stay at these hotels for free. I appreciate good Customer Service. The Fitness Center or should I say "Tiny Room with 1980's equipment" was very disappointing. A HUGE broken treadmill blocked the water cooler and the water cooler had no cups. The 80's machine was missing workout bars/straps and just looked like it wanted to be retired and die. The flat bench doesn't fit (literally). I understand why the pool was closed and I watched the amazing folks from the Caldwell Paramedics and Police do an amazing job trying to save that man's life. Truly HEROES! Did I mention breakfast was Great!

Stayed here during a road trip between Washington and Utah. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The desk chair was comfortable to work in and the furnishings comfortable. Super easy on and off the freeway, Burger king and Dutch Brothers Coffee right in the lot with a convenience store right across the street. Large parking lot with large vehicle parking space. Lynda at check-in was very helpful, indoor pool and Jacuzzi were warm and in good working order.

Amazing staff & facility! Original reservation was with La Quinta, they were totally unacceptable, 2- HOUR DELAY AT CHECK-IN. Staff was rude & unprofessional, lobby was filthy! We were there for a medical procedure, because of the delay we couldn't start the medication when we were suppose to. Cancelled & went to the BW. IT WAS WONDERFUL! Learned my lesson!

Conveniently situated just off the 84. Stayed two nights as we were in the area for the Solar Eclipse. We had been on the road all day so walked into Caldwell for food as there isn't much around the hotel. Room was ideal with everything we needed, very clean. Staff were all very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast bar was very popular, everyone else must have also got up early for the Eclipse. Buffet was excellent.

If you're travelling to Caldwell or thru Caldwell I highly recommend stopping at the Caldwell Best Western right off 84 East (3rd Caldwell exit). Linda and her staff will make you feel so welcome, the rooms are very nice, beds comfortable, breakfast better than most, etc. We are COI parents and always get just a regular room. My parents, who travel often, got a suite recently and said it was one of the nicest suites they'd stayed in . . . all in little old Caldwell.

We are very happy with our family's experience this past weekend at the Best Western in Caldwell, Idaho. It was a gathering to celebrate a wedding and the staff went out of their way to assist us in that celebration. The food provided was very good and there was an abundance of it.

The stay at this hotel is always a great one. I have enjoyed being in a smaller town and away from more of the hustle and bustle you find in bigger cities nearby. This is a great deal and well work the money spent.

I mistakenly reserved a room at a Best Western with a similar name in Caldwell Ohio instead of Caldwell, Idaho. The hostess at the front desk was very helpful in getting that reservation cancelled without a penalty and getting us a room at her hotel. The room was very clean. The bed was a bit on the firm side for my taste. They had several different sizes of pillows. They provided a full breakfast, not just cereal and bread. Very good. We will stay again if we're in Caldwell...Idaho.

This hotel is an easy on easy off location by the freeway. The desk staff are helpful and friendly--especially Lynda. She remembers us each time we stay. The rooms are spacious and the free breakfast is nice. There are eating places within walking distance.

We stayed on a Wednesday and the cost was outragous for what we got. There were tears in the carpet, stains in the carpet, spiders, dead flies in the window screens, dirty windows and the place was very noisy.

BWPlus Caldwell, ID is a hidden gem. Very nice hotel. clean, great breakfast, and the pool/jacuzzi is one of the best of any hotel we've stayed in. The beds are always comfortable in a BW as were these. Great breakfast and the staff were very helpful and personable! I will stay there again when we're traveling in/through the area.

The service was excellent and the breakfast was good. However, the beds really need to be replaced - you bottom out - and the rooms could be a little cleaner. Overall the location is great, but the experience is average.

This is a very nice BW Plus, just off the freeway, but no traffic noise. Nice rooms, good breakfast, and very friendly/attentive staff. -- Hallways needed better maintained (vacuuming) which did not leave the very best impression, but everything else -- especially our room -- was very clan and well-appointed. We would return again.

There were 4 pillows on each bed which were all the same. If you don't like sleeping with your head elevated, you are out of luck. I tried to sleep with no pillow, however the bed is very hard. Finally used a folded towel, for a pillow. Who buys all the same pillows? What a waste of money.

We found Best Western to be very accommodating and comfortable --good breakfast and comfy beds and price was fair. Only problem that we had was trying to set the alarm clock and front desk tried to help but it may just have been US.

This is one of the most outstanding accommodations we have experienced in our travels. Right off the I-84 freeway in Caldwell, Idaho. The staff is extremely friendly and capable. Their breakfast will long be remembered.

We travel often and this hotel differentiates itself because while it lives up to Best Western standards it has also has an overall feel of local hospitality. From the moment we checked in, Lynda made us feel very welcome and kindly answered all of our questions about the area. The hotel and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is nicely presented and there is a good variety including hot options such as eggs, sausage, potatoes and make-your-own waffles. They also offer 24-hour coffee service and the gift shop includes locally made and homemade items. We will definitely stay here again!

The best place to stay for a visit to College of Idaho! I was impressed with everything, including the BEST breakfast I've had at a hotel. I really appreciated the fact that everything in the room was in good working condition.

I highly recommend this Best Western for cleanliness, comfortable bed and decor. Pleasant, helpful staff and good complimentary breakfast left us wishing that we could spend another night! AND we got a heck of a deal on the cost of the night's stay. We are Best Western members and are usually happy with the accommodations.

Not really easy to find off interstate but gps led us astray. Easy checking but parking really scarce. Big trucks took up a lot of space so we dumped off our luggage at front while husband went to find parking, and I stayed with belongings. Room needs a deep clean due to dust, maybe due to the smoky conditions from western forest fires. But we slept ok. Breakfast was the usual chain fare and satisfied.

If you're stay for a visit to the College of Idaho, this is a great location and price. Very clean room with a good breakfast. Only about 2 miles from C of I and close to the football stadium. You could stay in Boise and pay A LOT more and I'm not sure if it will as nice as this Best Western.

Higher than usual quality hotel with superior outside landscaping and interior lobby. Appeared to be a nice pool but we didn't use it. Breakfast was also well above average with nice fresh fruit and yogurt. Wifi works but is slow.

This has got to be one of the friendliest places to stay! Their staff is outgoing, caring and extremely conscientious! If there was anything we needed they would do it. We had a family 90th birthday event here. We rented a gathering room and 12 hotel rooms! They were very helpful and very gracious to our older guests! I cannot say how much we appreciated this hotel and it's staff

The location was right off the highway. The pool is open 24 hours a day for adults. Several small restaurants near by. There's a truck stop just on the other side of the highway. Great place for a quick fuel up and snacks before continuing your trip to the great Northwest.

This is a very nice place to stay, the wife and I have been here a bunch. Lynda and her staff are top notch and they will make sure you are taken care of. They are usually biker friendly and to me that is a extra added plus in my book.

I've stayed here on several occasions during visits to Caldwell. The staff is very helpful and courteous if you have questions or requests. The housekeeping staff is also very polite and do a nice job. I haven't used the pool or gym here so I can't comment on that part. The breakfast offered in the mornings has a nice assortment of fresh fruits, hot items, cereals, coffee, juice, yogurt, etc. something for everyone.

Lack in cleanliness; After a 7 hour car ride we finally make it to BW expecting a decent stay in a CLEAN room... We walk into balls of fur, ants and spider webs with spider eggs in them. Furniture with balls of dust hanging off the edges. After notifying management on she did her best to salvage our stay moved us to room 329 which has experienced severe water damage without any aesthetic repairs made... room was cleaner but the bubbled ceiling and cracking paint made it uncomfortable.

I've stayed at this hotel several times now on business trips to Caldwell. It's always clean and they have a better than average breakfast. It's also convenient to I84 and less than a half hour drive to great shopping and dining options at The Village at Meridian.

We arrived late to find a comfortable bed for the much needed rest. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. It was the best breakfast that we have had in days. We sat down near the beautiful stone fireplace and enjoyed the ambiance.

A Standard Best Western Hotel with the usual amenities. Within walking distance to the Caldwell Football and Rodeo stadium. White noise from the A/C (turn fan on to constant) helps sleep quality. Large rooms with the usual facilities. Room colours and decoration in the common areas are jaded and the lift could do with an upgrade. Buffet breakfast with a small hot offering. Plastic utensils, paper cups,plates and bowels, has no one in this hotel heard of waste recycling as all items (including food waste) go into the same trash can? Surely this waste does not go into landfill?

Nice facility, works ok for out of town guests. Sleeping is good when you are away from traffic side of the hotel, breakfast is pretty good. The day staff works hard to help out situations that need corrected

This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. Breakfast is great, there is a restaurant on site. Staff is efficient and very helpful. Price is good. We are staying here for the second time in 2 weeks. Treated us like family when we walked in.

The room was clean and comfortable but showed wear. There were several stains on the carpet in our room and cracks in the tile. The breakfast was nice but could have more variety. Cooked oatmeal would have been nice instead of the instant variety.

Would have given this hotel 10s straight across, except for the flies in the pool area and a few areas of stained carpet. I never had a better experience in the last 10 years. All of the staff are Great, All of them, Friendly, respectful, experienced, in all that they do.

My boyfriend and I always try to stay at Best Western Plus Caldwell Inn & Suites, Caldwell ID. All my kids and 7 grandchildren live in the Nampa/Caldwell area. Only once did we have to stay elsewhere because they were booked solid. The staff here is wonderful, and the hotel is very clean. Their buffet breakfast is great, too!

Nice quiet area there in Caldwell, Idaho. Did a bit of geocaching while we were there. Visited with my wife's sister and her husband in Homedale. It was quite hot all over the NW in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and evidently northern California too. Big heat wave this year. Lots of agriculture areas around to observe. The breakfasts at the Best Western hotels are always so plentiful and complete. The only other comment would be that they could add door stops to the bottom of the doors so that you can get in and out with a luggage rack and cart before the door hits you. Otherwise and nice hotel. Has an indoor swimming pool and exercise area.

I used to live in Caldwell so return once a year to visit my friends and family. It's so convenient to have breakfast at the hotel and not have to drive somewhere. Having cookies in the afternoon is a plus. The staff is always helpful in any way. One young man helped load my heavy suitcase in the car for me this time. Another time the manager herself helped load it. It's clean, quiet and a very nice place to stay.

This place is worn down. Staff is friendly, but housekeeping left my room uncleaned. The breakfast was standard, and the location is very convenient. But, truly, next time I'll try the Holiday Inn down the road in Nampa.

Just a short drive to all the Boise area. Spacious room, comfortable accommodations. A good breaks if a little monotonous after a few days. The people were super nice. They helped me arrange are stay at our next stop in Nevada.

We were on a girls weekend to visit the vineyards. We got a huge room with 4 beds that fit all 5 of us comfortably. They have a great breakfast every morning and Lynda from the front desk went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is a very nice hotel the staff is friendly and helpful. Nice place to stay with a friendly staff and it is clean. They accept pets which is nice. I would recommend this hotel.

The Best Western Caldwell is conveniently located right off the I-84. The staff is always welcoming and helpful and the rooms are clean. There is a Burger King next door and a good diner right across the street. A great place to spend the night or two if you are on the road.

When we checked in Linda who was at the front desk noticed the rewards number that she had was not the right one she immediately corrected it.She was on the ball. The rooms were very clean as was the whole facility. The breakfast room and the breakfast was quite good. I would stay there again hands down.

My Dad had surgery and I need an affordable clean room, The staff and room were great! Just what I needed and a great breakfast too! Close to the hospital. All my needs were met and they give me a great room.

The hotel website stated there were washers and dryers. There was one set of washing and drying machines they were both broken. The hotel website also stated air conditioning. It was over a hundred degrees outside. The room was extremely hot and took over 2 hours to cool down. The room never got really cool. I reported these issues to the hotel staff and was given no Solutions. I asked for recommendations for dinner and was given and Chinese food restaurant menu. We threw away most of our food from that restaurant. The beds were comfortable the room we got was large. The breakfast was good. I would not return to this location. The Best Westerns have normally been very good.

We've been here twice now, and coming from California, we weren't sure what to expect about the place, location, etc. It's perfect! Right off the freeway, blocks away from the College of Idaho, and has everything we need. Rooms are very nice sizes and very clean. The full breakfast is a plus. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

I cant say enough about the service we received at this Best Western in Caldwell. When we got there to check in we found our reservation for a handicapped room was mixed up. All handicapped rooms were unavailable. So Mindy and Ana help us out and upgrade us to the executive suite. WOW! It was wonderful.. Beautiful decor, spacious and comfortable. They also gave us extra waters and a goody bag. I really appreciate their effort to help us out.

A very clean hotel. The staff was friendly & helpful. We didn't like the first room, so Linda, quickly moved us to another room. We slept very well. Their eggs at breakfast were tasteless & powdered. The biscuits were hard as a rock. I didn't try anything else. We were traveling with our dogs & felt the room was very clean.

Inviting exterior with water feature. Quiet location, friendly personnel and spacious room. Fast internet, Large pool, excellent exercise room and wonderful hot breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

The Caldwell Inn was in a great location for a road trip. Easy on and off the highway. Plenty of eating places nearby for dinner. Bed was great and comfortable. However the breakfast was less than desirable. Items were cold and was not presented well.

Nice updated hotel and friendly staff. Great pool area with perfect sun in the morning. Little early wake-up call from the nearby train in the morning. If you are opposed to the smell of cigarettes in the building you may want to find a newer hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. However, since this is now a totally pet friendly hotel, we will no longer stay here. Seems they care more about people with pets then people with allergies. Allowing animals to walk all over the halls, in the lobby and breakfast area is not acceptable to us.

We have stayed here a few times, it is close to family. So, it makes this hotel very convenient. This last visit we stayed on the lower level, it felt like a dungeon. Very dark. I much prefer the main level, a lot more light and it just seems much nicer. When we checked in the staff seemed very nice, but a few days later when we checked out not so nice. A little on the grumpy side. They really need to work on that. We will probably stay again, like I said it is convenient for us and we only sleep there.

This hotel allows pets but isn't really per friendly. There was absolutely no place to walk your dog. Had to borrow grass space from the neighboring Burger King. The staff was good, the room nice but the location weird. Right across the street from a stockyard. Luckily there weren't any cattle there during our stay. Unless you like Burger King plan on driving into town to eat.

This is the best hotel I have stayed in while in the Caldwell area. The staff are very professional, friendly, and helpful. The caring and friendly attitude of the staff is contagious - and we have noticed how happy the guests are too. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings, meeting people from all over the world. And, as our other family members were complaining about the other hotels they were staying at, I believe that we have recruited many of them to stay at the Best Western next year.

Is ok over all i just will like to have some source of way to plug my phone as some of the other hotels were i dont need to bring my 110 standard plug and the other thing is that i usually work night shift and the house keeping makes loud talk while they are at work and they wake me up them i could get back to sleep

Hide a bed in our suite not fit for human or animal. Do not expect to be comfortable if sleeping in one. Worst ever. Also be was not made up even though I requested it to be when I made the reservation.Tv remote didn't work, not enough towels in room

Friendly staff. Clean throughout. We also swam. Pool nice temp. Clean and inviting. We stay servers times each year for sports/tournaments. Burger King clean nearby. Great homemade food across the street at the truck stop.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms, variety of breakfast options. The large pool was an extra treat. It was well worth the price. The wired internet with cord provided had faster speeds and more privacy. There was also a wireless option for phones and tablets. Convenient to freeway but didn't have freeway noise.

My granddaughter loves a nice pool and hot tub, and this hotel did great in that aspect. The friendly staff loaded us up with fresh baked cookies, and gave us good information on the local area. The room we had was larger than typical and clean and comfortable.

Chose this place for the photos of pool. So nice to sit around looking out big windows at nature, while the grandkids play. The staff was so very helpful and the room just fine. Appreciated that they gave us breakfast passes for the restaurant next door. The best fruit and veggie stand ever is adjacent to this place!

My husband and I grew up in Caldwell, Id and have come often to visit family, as well as attend funerals and weddings. There is never any question as to where we will stay as this hotel is always clean, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is good. They will go out of their way to help.

This is our "Go To" hotel when visiting The College of Idaho in Caldwell. The location is right off the freeway but far enough to not hear any of it. It is within a few blocks of and feels like your practically on campus. Plenty of everything is available in the surrounding area. The hotel is nice and they keep it updated, every employee is always willing to assist with any request. The prices are reasonable for this location.

The bed was comfortable and we were able to cool the room without having the unit go on and off all night. We had 2 dogs, and they were very pet friendly also. Breakfast was not skimpy. There was cereal, eggs, sausage and potatoes.

Took my children to a conference they were invited to attend and tried to find closest hotel so commute to drop them off wouldn't be a hassle. This hotel was close to campus. The staff was great and the rooms were nice as was the interior of the hotel. The only thing I found lacking was the quality of the 'hot" breakfast. I found the eggs, sausage, potatoes, and coffee to be mediocre at best. The rest of the breakfast, cereal, juice and yogurt were good.

Our family gathered from Idaho, Washington and California for my mother. The hotel staff was welcoming to us. We spent 2 nights and were able to use the pool, lobby couches, and breakfast room. All was terrific. This is our second stay at the Caldwell Best Western.

This is a nice place to stay. Is clean though room decor could use an update. Pool needs resurfacing but it was still a good experience. Location is near the highway but close enough to the town. If you were visiting the college perfect location

Friendly staff and confortable room, especially the bed and pillows- I wanted to sleep longer. Only negatives were the desk chair was stained and they' ve switched to preformed egg patties at breakfast instead of real scrambled eggs like they had before. Would and will stay there again.

Very comfortable after a long day of driving. Friendly staff, huge room!. Hot tub was relaxing and pool was cool. Surprisingly few kids there, but that might have just been luck of the draw. West of the traffic, which was perfect for us. Would gladly stay there again.

Visited Caldwell to see the College of Idaho. Great location very near campus. Reservation and check in staff very helpful and friendly. Room was very nice, price was great, included breakfast buffet was more than the usual, nice selection. Would def. stay again.

We have overnighted here twice on our way to and from California. On another stay last year, I found out upon returning home that I had inadvertently left a tote bag behind in the room. I immediately contacted the hotel front desk and was so relieved that the staff had turned it in and the hotel manager Stacy Ward took care of shipping the bag back to me. There is also a Sage restaurant across the street from the hotel worthy of mention. It is a truck stop and the food is good and reasonably priced too!

We were on the 3rd floor the first night and 4 days later stayed on the 1st floor. The first floor was a lot noisier. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and there were lots of choices that differed on each day. There was a funny smell in the TOWN on both visits. We asked what it was and were told it was sugar beet season. It was only apparent outside the building. The location was very convenient. 4 exits up the road is Texas Roadhouse, Outback, Movie theater and lots of shopping.

The room was very large. The room was spotless. The staff was very well trained. The first room had been smoked in. And they moved us immediately into a very deluxe room at no additional cost. I am back already as of this writing.

We are a frequent Best Western customers. As typical, we found our room clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast area was clean and provided a variety of breakfast foods. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Andrea. Such a lovely and pleasant person. She was the only one on the desk, and was multi-tasking, (answering phones, taking reservations, helping new customers as well as attending to customers checking out). Although Andrea was extremely busy, she maintained a very pleasant and personable attitude, making the check-in a pleasure. The hotel has plenty of parking and entry doors close to the stairwells for convenience. The front lobby was under construction, however, the staff was making every effort to mitigate the inconvenience. We can appreciate the upgrades. The hotel itself was quiet, but the two nearby trains that blew their horns at 4:00 and 4:30 AM was not a welcome expectation. Cant fault the Best Western for that. We have always found Best Westerns accommodating, and we will continue frequenting their hotels.

Dirty, noisy, with all the creaking floors and slamming doors, carpets were filthy, and I averaged a bug bite a night. On my third night I noticed white dried spots on the throw pillow in the middle of my regular pillows. I took the pillow to the front desk and they were disgusted. They offered me another room. I just asked for new pillow cases. The next day I returned from work and my room wasn't cleaned at all. I went back to the front desk and they offered to send someone up to clean my room, but I turned them down. There must be a cattle feed lot or dairy nearby, there is a strong smell of cattle waste outside. It's just not worth the chance.

The Staff at this hotel are in the people business, most seem to know what we wanted or needed before we did. The breakfast was outstanding, the night Desk Staff was helpful, not so much in the morning. This is clean, enjoyable, they just know what is important, us.

We stay here anytime we come to the Boise area. It's a great hotel always quite and the breakfast is great. Linda at the front desk is the Nicest I have ever delt with at any hotel I've ever stayed. She has loaned us her own jumper cables. She is always pleasant and willing to help anyway she can. Love the exercise room and the pool area. The overall hotel is very clean.

Stayed here on way home from Arizona. This is a pet friendly hotel. The check-in was easy and the clerk was very helpful and friendly. The room was large with a separate sitting area. The room was clean although a little in need of upgrading. Breakfast buffet was above average for a free buffet.

We love this hotel. We stay here every time we visit our family. They have a Great breakfast that changes every day and the staff is helpful and caring. The rooms are clean and large.Everything is comfortable and works great. Oh, the cookies in the lounge are good too! I will always stay here when I come to Caldwell. A+++

As always, the Best Western Plus Caldwell Inn & Suites met all expectations. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly at check-in and check-out. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast on this trip, but it has always been exception on past visits.

We always have a great experience. The staff does a great job of accommodating us for our room. They have a great breakfast, the rooms are always clean and the staff is always so friendly. We look forward to our trips to Caldwell and staying at the Best Western.

We had a very comfortable quiet room. Must go to Indian Creek Restaurant in downtown Caldwell. Great prime rib. Also great Mexican restaurant on 10th Street. We are headed back for another stay next week. Taking horseback riding lessons with Henry Nable. Amazing trainer and teacher. Folks at Motel very kind and helpful!

Brenda is such an amazing asset, she made our stay so much better. My kids and I felt cared for and safe. Chantelle, Linda and the other staff are great as well. We stay there every time we visit my father because of the staff!

Stayed at this hotel for leisure. Breakfast was hot and had a variety of items. Staff cleaned up breakfast area when messed up. Had a room with a view of the trees in the back, and not much else, but overall, was quiet and nice.

OK for the price. We had a basement room facing the freeway which was not so nice. I would ask for a room NOT in the basement. Freeway noise was minimal however. This hotel needs updating, it is worn out.

We were in the area for business and stayed 4 nights at this location. Our room was quite, clean and the bed was comfortable. We will be back in the area this coming spring and plan on staying at this location even though it is farther than some other hotels, because of the caring staff and the value. The location is right off of the freeway and has a few restaurants within walking distance. We loved the fact that the pool & spa was open 24 hours a day, so at the end of a long show, we can take a Jacuzzi and relax.

Staff was nice and very and very accommodating. Continental breakfast was fresh an area was well-maintained with fireplace and area to purchase snacks beer and wine. Property appeared to be very secure and was very comfortable.

Other hotels in the area were at least $50.00 per night more. We were pleasantly surprised by this property. Rooms were very clean, staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was far above what you get at most "breakfast included" motels. Easy on and off the interstate.

From the little fountain out front to the cute plaza in the back, this hotel had a special feeling to it. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and gave us cookies right out of the oven when we arrived. The location is even great - close to town and also the interstate. We would stay here again - a chain hotel with a special touch.

Nice property, attentive staff, nice hot breakfast, clean comfortable room. Didn't use the indoor pool, but it looked nice with plenty of deck space. Convenient location, right off the I-84 exit. Plenty of parking.

Awesome place to stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our weekend! The cats in the courtyard were cool. Breakfast was really good! Would recommend that anyone stay there. This is out second year staying there and we plan to stay there again next year.

Travelling with only my cat as a companion, facing a 3000 mile journey on the road, I was concerned about safety and comfort. This BW Plus was perfect for me, good location, great staff, quiet and well appointed room. Everything went smoothly, and it was the perfect start for my journey. Thanks for making what could have been scary into a lovely evening.

This is a nice facility, with one drawback I'll come to in a minute. The room and bed were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean with a good-powered shower, and the breakfast buffet is well-maintained and given constant attention. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The one downside was the quality of the wifi, which was virtually inoperable most of the two nights we were there.

This has to be the best hotel I have stayed in, amazing value for money. The check in was faultless and the assistant manager (I forgot her name) was possibly the most friendly person o have ever met. We used the hot tub and pool initially (as we had just driven for 6 hours) and it was fab. Then we had a very nice rose (Indian hills) and a few beers in the garden area. Great rooms for a solid night sleep , gym is well equipped, and breakfast is excellent. I would highly recommend this place !

Nice facility and stay. The location worked out well for our travel this trip. We found the staff very accommodating and the room was good. Bed was grea and the rooms very goodt. We were on the second floor and the elevator was slow and inconvenient. Recommended stay, however.

This Best Western is perhaps the best one we have ever stayed in. Everything is always perfect and the service is awesome. If you have a problem just tell them and it will get fixed quickly. At least with the few times we have had problems they have been.

We didn't have a reservation, but there was only one room left. Some big concert in Boise. The one room left was a king with a queen sleeper sofa and 2 tv's. It was more than we needed, but it was a wonderful room. We slept well. It was very quiet. Had an okay breakfast and we were on our way. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Check in was easy since I had reservations and the clerk was helpful as to which door to come in. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was tasty. This could be a good room to have for several days.

Very polite staff. Room, pool and hot tube clean. Beds are comfortable, and spacious. The morning breakfast buffet was one of the better ones that we have ate at. Building clean through out. They were booked full the night we stayed and heard very little noise.

I was in Caldwell for two nights for business. The hotel is right off Interstate 84 and Caldwell, though a small town, has plenty of restaurants. The staff happily allowed me early check-in. My room was perfect--comfortable and quiet with a good bed. Breakfast was very good.

This is our favorite Best Western Plus yet. We stayed at 3 different cities on our trip. The rooms are nice and clean. They have full size bath towels in the bathroom. Great hot breakfast, they even had biscuits and gravy. The chlorine level in the indoor pool and spa is perfect. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Overall a great place to stay!

As this was the second time I had stayed here on passing through to Phoenix I was pleasantly surprised to be treated the same as before. Excellent. The room was clean and well appointed and the bed very comfy. It is handy to the highway but not on it.

Very comfy large King bed. Quiet room. Couch very uncomfortable to sit on. Needs a chair in the room . Large tv's..... difficult to locate abc, cbs, nbc channeling. Nice pool area and hot tub. Exercise room was large and fully furnished.

Our stay was ok.. The pool was good. The hot tub wouldn't turn on. The help came but it still didn't work. The pool is indoors which is nice, but we had some kids that screamed and it echoed which is not the hotels fault. The room was ok, but it could be updated a little bit. It is an older hotel and they need some upgrades, new carpets etc. They need to clean around the edges, if you know what I mean. It was ok everywhere else.

We stayed here as we were attending a family wedding close by. What a pleasure! Our accommodation was lovely, large comfy bedroom, with a separate sitting room. The decor is a little dated and tired - but everything was spotlessly clean. (The light switches were a little confusing, and the RED light that stays on when the light is off is a little annoying as you can't help but see it from the bed) All the staff from front desk, to the breakfast staff and housekeeping were friendly, accommodating and really sincerely wanted us to have a great stay. The hotel was fully booked on the first night and our room was above the main entrance so it was a little noisy...but it certainly didn't detract from our stay. The breakfast exceeded expectations, fresh eggs, sausages & homemade biscuits and gravy. A good selection of breads & pastries, yogurt and juices. The fresh baked cookies in the evening were a lovely touch - as was the fresh fruit and iced water and coffee available 24/7. Thank you for a lovely staff, we wouldn't hesitate to come back if we were in the area.

Great Hotel, always clean rooms, great friendly and helpful staff. Stay there all the time when I'm in Caldwell. Referred many of my family and friends there. We consider it our home away from home when we travel to Caldwell, Idaho.

We stayed for four days while visiting grandson and attending the 'Yotes football game. It is very close to the College of Idaho campus and stadium. They provide a free breakfast buffet and there is a Burger King right across the parking lot. Had a clean, quiet room. When we found out the visiting team would be staying there, we were worried, but it was quiet. Will stay there again in the future!

This hotel was new and clean- such a bonus they allow those of us with pets too. There was a huge HEATED indoor pool and hot tub- the water in both was the cleanest I have ever seen! We had both to ourselves and it was so nice to swim and then hot tub. The rooms were immaculate- it was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our 2 week road trip. There aren't a lot of restaurants right near but there is an earlier highway exit with a ton of places- it's worth it to pick up your food and take it to this location in Caldwell!

If you're looking for a quality hotel at reasonable prices in the Caldwell/Nampa area, we would highly recommend the Best Western in Caldwell. The staff has continually gone out of their way the past few years we've been visiting and the beds are comfortable, breakfast good, etc. We especially appreciate the discount for College of Idaho families.

We've tried both hotels in the area - close to the college campus. The other one is more expensive, unfriendly and uncomfortable. After staying at BW, I would never go back to the other one. The employees go above and beyond the normal to make sure your visit it spectacular. I was beyond impressed with their positive, friendly, upbeat and helpful attitudes!

The hotel was average. There were a lot of families there for College back to school! The hot tub and pool were great. Breakfast was okay, VERY crowded and most of the food was empty often. The room size was okay for 4. (2 queens)

2nd time that we have stayed at this hotel in the past two years. The first time was in the new part of the hotel. This time I asked for the new part also. The room maid even left a note for us which was a nice touch. The attendant working the breakfast was also very nice. They had run out of Chobani yogurt and my wife asked if they had anymore. He gladly got her some more. I will stay at this hotel again.

This property is perfectly located for a Boise area visit without having to deal with urban hub congestion. Access is quick and easy from I-84. Breakfast is ample and tasty. Breakfast hosting is pleasant and attentive. Tables are continually being cleaned and readied for the next family or solo traveler. Overall hospitality is marvelous. The inn has been rejuvenated several times in recent years. Avoid the Boise rat race, stay here!

This Best Western has been a wonderful place to stop. we have a 6 year old Yellow Lab that is welcome here. Linda at the front desk always welcomes us and give the dog a treat. the staff is friendly, the rooms are very clean, and its affordable. Nice job BW!

Extremely satisfied with the room and the friendly and helpful staff during check in and check out. We visit a couple of times each year because of our daughter attending COI and this is always our first choice.

Nice rooms, very clean and the breakfast was great. They serve sausage, scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. Along with the normal, fruit,cereal and self serve waffles. The pool and workout room are open to adults 24/7 s that is a real plus too. Staff very friendly.

Our family had two rooms and a three night stay at this hotel. The basics are all here - coffee maker, iron and ironing board, blow dryer, extra blankets and pillows and towels already in the rooms. The breakfast included in the room price is the same every day, but does include hot food (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, gravy, potatoes), and a selection of cereals, breads and fruit. Rooms and common areas are very clean. All staff was very friendly and accommodating, including the cleaning staff. We were always greeted when we came in, and wished well whenever we left the building. Only room for improvement is the weak Wi-Fi signal, but no complaints aside from that. We would definitely stay here again.

This was an average experience. Reception was friendly, but rooms were dated, the internet signal was very weak. TV was very average quality. Ok for the money. Breakfast was not great, perhaps average, Bed and carpeting need to be updated.

This is one of the best places to stay in Caldwell, Idaho. We always stay here when we are traveling in this area. Staff is very helpful and breakfast was very good. Facility is very clean. We have never been dissatisfied when we stay here.

Stayed here using the military rate and it was an excellent value. The rooms were clean, nice lobby, and excellent breakfast. Nice patio area with little cute cats that seem to live there and get fed by the guests and the pool area is nice as well. The hallways smell kind of funny and seem muggy, which is weird considering it is Idaho and very dry. Overall, this is a good place to stay and if you are a veteran, book with the military rate and get extra savings! Fantastic.

There was not much to choose between when looking for a hotel in the area. Booked this hotel and did not expect much. The hotel was better than we expected. Rooms large enough, and clean. The breakfast was below average of a hotel breakfast. But it was included in the price, and for the price we paid for the room perhaps what to expect.

I have stayed at this hotel for the last eight years. I have found it to be clean, economical, and staff friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone doing business or staying overnight in the area.

One of the FINEST Best Westerns we have stayed in. Staff was VERY friendly and helpfull. We will highly recommend to all our friends and family. Next time we are in this location, it will be our only choice to stay.

Comfortable bed, lots of pillows, nice shower. Everything seemed clean. Luggage cart and elevator made it easy to get our stuff from car to room. The hotel gets a higher rating from me because of food selection at breakfast, including hard-boiled eggs and Greek yogurt (not just carbs). Info book in room seems out of date - TV channels are not correct, and it says we had a refundable pet deposit but that wasn't mentioned at the desk.

Our stay at the Best Western Plus in Caldwell was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and the beds were alright. We loved the 24 hour pool with hours for adults only. Great location if you want to stay outside Boise. The cream cheese cinnamon rolls are excellent!!! I'd recommend staying here.

The room was clean and quirt. The bathroom was very small. Breakfast very basic. Front desk staff should take a lesson in communications. They don't listen to you, and they are trying to do 5 things at the same time, which they cannot. Would I stay here again? yes - for 1 night only.

We were on our way home from a two week adventure and had stayed in many Best Westerns, this one was one of the nicest and I think had the friendliest staff. We would definitely stay here again, beds were comfortable, had room to roam and when we had an issue with the sink, the young man was at our door in a matter of minutes and out just as quickly.

There are very few choices in and around Caldwell, Idaho, so we were happy to be able to find a Best Western for our one night stay. While this was not as good as pleasing to the eye with the same amenities as the one we stayed in in Salem, OR a wee or so before, it was probably the best option Caldwell had to offer.

Great hotel. Great location - just off Interstate - easy access. Great employees - very helpful and pleasant. Will always stay at this hotel when in the Caldwell area. Good restaurant nearby. Included breakfast was very good.

We have stayed at this location so many times over the years that I have lost count. The first year we stayed it was almost brand new, and it has improved with age. It still looks new, well kept, and is very clean as of our last visit. We always enjoyed the breakfasts each morning, very delicious with a lot to choose from and a friendly breakfast staff. The area outside of the dining room is lovely and we have many memories over the years of visiting with family and friends in this cozy outside area. Loved the pool!! We will certainly be back, and hopefully soon!!

The hotel was easy to find and was centrally located. It was easy to check in/check out. I did not partake of the hot breakfast but that was a nice attribute. The price was reasonable. The room met my needs and the bed was comfortable. The noise outside (train passing by every 2 hours after 2 am) was mild-moderate, but I had the window open so that is my fault. Overall, I would most likely stay there again.

We love this place! Its not a question for us if we are near here, this is our stay. Unfortunately we were not able to stay here (Fully Booked) on our return trip and were forced up to Ontario,OR (Summer travel is rough!) where we paid more for less. This is not a spectacular modern masterpiece of a hotel. It simply does not get anything wrong. That is something way greater. As many times as we have been here we have never been let down. And the breakfast is GREAT!

This hotel is in great shape & the staff was helpful. The room & pool area were very clean. The pool & hot tub were just what I needed after driving for 8 hours. We sprung for a room with a jet tub, which was well worth it, in my opinion. They offer a decent continental breakfast, but there is good food within walking distance. Don't let the truck stop across the street fool you! It houses the Sage Cafe, which has great diner food.

Lodging was clean, quiet and comfortable. The room was up to date with two very nice queen beds, average sized flat screen television. We used the indoor pool and hot tub, both were very well maintained and good sized. The breakfast in the morning was better than most with fruit, juices, eggs, potatoes, pastries and coffee. Overall very nice.

All good except the breakfast area. The food line was never maintained and thus food spilled and never cleaned up. Also the tables in the breakfast area were on taken care of. If someone left cups or food scraps on the table they stayed there as there was no effort made to keep the entire area neat & clean. I would hope that this was not a daily situation but one due to the employee on duty Saturday and Sunday AM
