    « Worst Western »

I have stayed in many Best Western branded hotels over the years, but this one should be closed and refurbished immediately or signs taken down. My room was tiny, and even though on the 6th floor the street noise was coming staright in to the room, felt like the trams were passing under my bed. Same from the hotel corridor, every single noise from other guests, the elevator or staff was like the room door was open. Run down , damages everywhere and a bathroom looking more like a backpacker hostel.Heating was turned off so icecold in my room when I arrived, and did not really get better. Radiator in the bathroom was broken. On the positive, wifi is free. Only reason to stay here is that there are very few other hotels to choose from in the Uccle heighbourhood.

    « Care & Consideration »

Special case as I used the hotel as a recovery centre after a hip operation at St. Elisabeth Clinic of Europe which is just down the road. Incredible service over and above what one would expect, the receptionist even found me a hairdresser to come to my room. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, the service, the food, the room, we had taken a Junior Suite and it should be known that they do special prices for long term stays. The rooms were kept immaculate and linen was changed daily, also the laundry service was excellent. Their restaurant was excellent and the staff both there and overall were really appreciated and we felt at home.

« Good location & property but hospitality missing »

The property is right next to a tram station with a supermarket & other stores nearby. A great location indeed. The rooms are quite cozy & clean. The only thing missing was a touch of hospitality in the staff. The old lady at the reception behaved as if she was doing a favor to man kind by being there. Her tone was quite rude and unwelcoming. There would be no housekeeping/ room service post 6pm and when we discovered that housekeeping didn't clean our room properly or change the towels and toiletries, we were asked to speak to them next morning and not bother the lady who was all alone manning the place. May be she's actually over worked, but In all, a little bit of courtesy & hospitality from the staff could make this place great.

    « Group booking »

We had a very easy stay at this hotel as a group of about 15 for two nights. Everything was very easy for what we required. The location was great as only 45 mins walk to the centre. They kept the restaurant open late for when we arrived and the food was very good. The breakfast was just right, not over the top but a wide enough range of choice. The rooms were fine, again not posh but clean and comfortable. Thank you for making our stay so easy.

    « Great Location Wonderfull Room& Services »

Hotel is very nice. My room is look to front site I can seen to park directly open to window. Great balcony. Room is very clean and very nice. Bathroom is nice and clean. Breakfast is nice. Location very close to metro station.

    « Dated »

I stayed here for 28 nights with work the rooms are clean and a decent size. The breakfast is the same things everyday and not worth the money charged.the restaurant served good meals in the evening the bar service was a bit slow due to only one bar staff working at night and also doing the restaurant drinks. The rooms have no air con and very warm at night you can get a fan from reception but not a lot of good you can't open a window because of the noise from the main road. Two nights a week they have a coach trip stay and they just seemed to like shouting in the corridors at night. There is nowhere around to park your car so you have to pay €14 a night to park your car. On the good side there are some nice bars and restaurants close by

« Ok hotel outside city center »

Ok hotel located outside the city center. The standard is a bit below average and the room interiour is pretty old. There was a fan and a water heater with coffee in the room though, which is a plus. Most of the staff were friendly, especially the ones that worked during night time. There is parking garage for €14 per night, but be aware that it is extremly narrow space. So if you are afraid of getting scratches on your car I will not recommend it. There are many restaurants within walking distance. You can also take the tram to the city center. Compared to the quality and location the pricing is a bit too high for me to recommend staying here. But that's just my personal view.

    « Comfortable stay »

Very polite staff. Good and quiet location. Wifi was working well. I'm a fan of the bar in the hotel and the service there. Poor breakfasts - every day the same dishes. Not many options for vegetarians or vegans.

« Location, quite neighborhood, good room, pleasant staff »

I stayed at the hotel several times, the last one was ten years ago, Tan and today I enjoyed my stay, Modest not fancy room, nice size, good quality, pleasant stay, Helpful staff, all were pleasant people, Free WiFi, Since it is winter lack of A/C did not disturb me, at summer time it is a must,

    « 1 average night for Business »

I think you need to be lucky to have silent neighbours, the walls are thin and I had noisy ones.. the rooms are ok and the breakfast modest but ok for business. Parking is under the hotel and I wasn't charged for it, appriciated ! There are some nice restaurants close by.

« Receptionist, with no idea of hospitality. »

I stayed in this hotel in 2016 - October. Hotel is old and bathrooms and bedrooms are not comfortable. It is not located in the city center, yet have access to tram and relatively peaceful environment with the park in front. Good restaurant available, but bad service quality especially in the reception with rude staff especially if you are not from European Union, or from a country which they would consider modern, and civilized.

    « Very comfortable »

We stayed one night after diving at Nemo33. The hotel was comfortable, clean and warm. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location is good one tram line right into the city, Christmas market and train station. Area was quiet. Breakfast selection slightly limited but good quality and buffet style meant you could eat what you wanted. Good hotel without paying a fortune.

« Good location to the centre, good value for money »

Nothing extraordinary about the hotel, middle of the range, best western with good value for money and a very easy access to the centre and to the train station. THe tram is right in front of the hotel and is about 20min to the centre or Bruxelles midi. Rooms are not very large but clean and modern. So is the bathroom. We did not try the breakfast. Staff was relatively friendly (it varied from one day to the next...).

    « Sejour à Bruxelles »

Nice location and good value. Eveything is correct. Bartender should be more present... Many stays in this hotel without complain. For housekeeping : check TV , remote control allows the client to modify the programs

    « It's OK »

Not bad for the price. Room was pretty small and its in a loud area. Not a lot happening around there, you have to take the bus to get to the good spots in the city. The bar and food were good................".......

« Nice place, easy breakfast »

Rooms are good, private parking, perfect internet, it was clean Smoking rooms (balkony) with ashtray (thumbs up) Hotel is easy to find. Diner i dont know On a scale from 1-10 i'll give breakfast a minus 5

« Reasonable but some big sticking points »

Firstly, despite many complaints about the Internet, I found it quick and reliable, both of us were able to stream video without buffering. The bed is quite large and comfortable, although I struggled with the pillows. It is a noisy location and parking was impossible in their parking garage, but we saved money in the end and used free street parking. I didn't try the restaurant, it was too pricey, but there are enough options locally. The bad, apart from parking is the bathroom. The shower head is in a ridiculously awkward place, dead centre of the narrow bath, meaning that when you shower, the curtain is basically hugging your chest or back. Overall, I wasn't too impressed but the staff members were friendly and it wasn't overpriced. Would I stay here again, no, but I am fussy when it comes to hotels.

    « Nice place »

We spent here 3 quiet nights as much as delicious dinners in their restaurant. The hotel is situated in Uccle district of Brussels, well served by many means of transport and very easy reachable. The easiest and economical way to arrive here from the Charleroi airport is to take the shuttle or train until Zuidstation Gare du Midi (about 50 min) then to take from there the tram no. 4 toward Stalle and get off at Héros (Helden) station (about 15 min) where you'll see the hotel right in the square. The hotel is a little bit dated but clean and comfortable and mannered staff. Our room was quiet clean and maybe because keeps the old style decoration seems to be not well cleaned but I ensure you that it was. Overall the room was not a waw... was not a modern one... It is seen as old-fashioned but was clean, quiet and comfortable. We had the windows and balcony to the square and it was a nice view specialy in the morning at sunrise. The Wi-Fi signal was very good and internet works ok. The breakfast was poor in choice, the same things everyday but satisfying. I initially wanted to give three dots but I will give four because of the dinners that we served here and that was delicious and showy. We were served "à la carte" very mannered with dishes worthy of a real chef.

    « Bad »

Very narrow room (it's not easy to circulate in there for two people!!), tiny bathroom (no place to put our stuff), ugly lighting, colors and smell (looks and smell like in an hospital). Besides it'noisy (noise from the street) Very disappointed.

« Comfortable enough, but nothing special »

We spent two nights at this hotel and had no complaints. The room was adequate, the bed was comfortable, and the WiFi worked well. It is located in the Uccle district, about 4 km from the central part of Brussels, but there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. There is a restaurant on site.

« Comfortable hotel in a lovely part of Brussels »

County House Hotel This is a quiet hotel, well situated in the Uccle district of Brussels. It is perhaps a little dated in some areas but its heart is in the right place. The staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful. We had a suite comprising a bedroom and sitting room. This gave us a quiet comfortable place to sit at the end of the day. Had we needed it, there was also a small well-equipped kitchen in the sitting room. Cupboard and drawer space in the two rooms was plentiful. There was a safe in the room which did not work but there are safes available at the reception desk and we used one of these easily. Breakfast was fine with a small selection of cooked food, egg, sausage and bacon, and a buffet of cheese and cooked meats, salad and fruits plus lovely breads and pastries. It was efficiently run by one hard-working woman who was always obliging and ready to restock food as required. In summary - this is a comfortable small hotel in a lovely part of Brussels with friendly and helpful staff.

« Great Restaurant, internet FOGGETABOUTIT! »

Nice suburb of Brussels, GREAT French restaurant, I WOULD NOT stay here again because the internet is USELESS, 1 on a scale of 1-10. "The hotel is full it's slow" is what I hear. I'm not saying slow, I'm saying IMPOSSIBLE, as in you can't get on, you can't do skype. I ran up probably $50 in cell phone roaming charges due to inability to use skype. I'm checking NO wifi because it's sooooooooo bad.

« nice people, poor accommodations »

we stay here for meetings sometimes, this was my first time. the people are very friendly and the location is good if you need to be in the area; there is a tram stop right there. the price was reasonable considering being in a major city and the rom size. despite all that and breakfast the facility and rooms are in bad shape. this place used, that's about all i can say. oh and the 5th floor stinks, the hallway and my room. there was no point in complaining, it could not have been fixed quickly and the hotel was full. it has radiant heating, not forced air and the wifi was horribly slow and dropped me often. even the value is only ok with such a good price because of the condition of the floors and amenities. the room i was in on the 5th floor was large and there was a sitting space and a bedroom and a kitchen, but i would give all that up for a small room that did not stick. also there is one iron for each floor. after some checking i found it was located in the escape stairwell, you collect it yourself or knock on doors to see who might have it. for price and space it's good. for the rest, i would not recommend it here even though i may have to go back for more meetings.

« Home away from Home »

I have been staying here for decades as my father lives down the road and we stay here when we visit him. We have spent well more than 150 room nights here, I would like to be recognised as a frequent guest, but its not that important I suppose. County House is a reliable hotel, well located, always fine, parking, good food, well priced, just nice to feel you will get what you expect. Elevators much better, we wish it had air-conditioning and more room service, but otherwise very good.

« Will stay here again. »

To get to the hotel from Brussels airport take the train (€8 pp) to Garde de Midi and a tram to Helden (€2) and this is infront of the hotel. Our room was great, big enough for the four of us. It was clean and neat, clean towels every day. Staff was helpfull and always pleasant. The only negative is yes there's a bar but the staff member also serve the restaurant so one can wait up to 5min for a drink. Breakfast was good.

« Everything smells and looks old »

There is that smell of overused carpet and furniture in the room. The curtains were full of stains. There is no minibar. There was a spider on the ceiling, as my friend had a phobia she freaked out. We had asked for an upper floor room considering this might happen at the beginning during the check-in but they strictly said they wouldn't change the room. The breakfast was prepared in a seperate room for us as we came with a tour company. It was really bad and insufficient compared to where other guests had their breakfast. I felt like a second class guest who didn't deserve a proper breakfast. Some foods ran out and never filled back. Overall there wasn't a friendly and helpful approach from the hotel.

« Good location for sight seeing. »

Two others and I shared a room on guys trip to Europe. The hotel was good, breakfast was very good. If you are parking a car, one make sure it will fit (we had no problems) but ceiling is very low. Make sure you get a park release ticket before trying to leave. I would stay again.
