"Lovely place.."

Nice place on the each of town, and easy reach of the motorway to charge up a Tesla - had around 6 spots there. Unsure if there were coffee facilities there whilst waiting. Nice modern look to the hotel, shame not closer into town

"Good choice on the outskirts of Bruges"

Check in was a bit on the cold and sternly side. The room in itself was very big and clean but the drapes do not occult the outdoor lights completely. Also some rooms are on a busy street. The parking is free but not secure by a gate. The town of Bruges is a few miles away and there are no restaurants nearby (as far as I know) except the one in the hotel. Unfortunately the check out was still cold, a bit unfriendly but professional.

"Great Hotel Option For Bruges"

We looked into downtown hotels, but decided to try this spot about 6 miles from downtown. The location was nice and calm, despite being close to several main roads. Location-wise, it's just fine for folks like us who arrived by car, as parking is free at the hotel and it's just a quick, easy drive to the conveniently-located and affordably-priced downtown parking garages. Hotel-wise, this place exceeded our expectations with large, clean rooms and very nice breakfast. We simply liked the atmosphere of the place as well -- it felt like a much more expensive hotel. Tip for Tesla owners: they were just installing a super charger station (7-8 chargers) adjacent to the hotel parking lot, so this would be a perfect place to stay and charge.

"Great hotel, great price for the area"

Clean spacious and curtious staff just a bit out of the way and really close to the motorway. Secure parking and the restaurant will not win an awards is functional with enough choice for every one. I always use this as the first overnight stop after the tunnel when I'm on my travels

"nice quiet room"

Nice end spot of our bike trip. Nice, large, quiet room. Great sleep. Nice breakfast. Staff is helpful. It is a little outside of town so you have to do the shuttle taxi. The only negative I had was with the taxi service they called to go to the train station. The driver had no change so you end up tipping more than you need - kind of a scam....but the hotel was great.

"Na jedna noc ok."

W hotelu spalismy w drodze do UK.Jedna noc by odpoczac.Hotel ma idealna lokalizacje na trasie.Pokoje przestronne i nawet ladnie urzadzone.Czysto.Hotel widac ze po remoncie aczkolwiek wszedzie widac niedorobki i pekniecia.Ogolne wrazenie pozytywne i polecam. We spent the night on the way to the UK. One night to rest. The hotel has an ideal location on the route. Rooms spacious and even nicely decorated. Purely. The hotel can be seen after refurbishment but everywhere you can see the inaccuracies and cracks.General positive impression and recommend.

"A bit disappointing."

The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The hospitality tray was lacking in items and the kettle leaked. The staff very quickly provided a new kettle and were generally helpful. The bed cover was stained and torn at the bottom. Food and drinks were expensive. Would have expected more for the money paid £132

"Really nice hotel"

A little bit out of town but what a nice spot. Our room was very nice, a good size and with a very nice bathroom. We had a great realizing sleep too. The advertised shuttle service into town was very limited. We booked the shuttle back from town and took a taxi into Bruges for dinner but ended up being charged for 2 taxis. In any event, the receptionist made it a non issue which was much appreciated. A really nice spot in Bruges but a more frequent shuttle would be great

"One of my favourite hotels"

Very friendly staff who are very obliging. Great rooms exceptionally comfortable. Good but expensive main restaurant but prices at the bar very affordable. Excellent parking . Outside the centre of Brugge so easier for visitors with cars. I enjoy staying here every time.

"Excellent Hotel, Highly Recommended"

This hotel is on the outskirts of Brugge, easy to find, has plenty of free parking, very friendly and helpful staff, and excellent rooms. Our bedroom was large by any hotel standard. The fittings were in excellent condition, and the facilities provided met our needs. The bathroom was a delight to use with a wet room power shower. The restaurant provided very good breakfasts, and the dinner menu was excellent, albeit a little pricey. Parking in Brugge can be a nightmare for the tourist, but this hotel has an excellent arrangement with a local taxi firm to provide a timed shuttle service or discount vouchers if you wish to be independent. Highly recommended, we would stay there again.

"Holiday "

We have been to this hotel a few times now. We keep coming back due to the wonderful staff there that are friendly and helpful. The hotel is kept clean throughout. The courtyard area is a great sun trap so having a drink or evening meal from the bar menu ( the spare ribs are amazing) there is a must for sun worshipers. The restaurant has a good selection of food that is beautifully cooked and presented which includes less well know items such as roasted marrow bone in this case along with a good choice of fish dishes too. The room we had was large and air conditioned with a walk in shower en suite. The staff from reception to room services are so helpful and friendly, all we spoke to fluent in a wide variety of languages, including thankfully English. A great place to stay and we will be back again. Thank You Weinebrugge for helping make our holiday enjoyable.

"Very Good"

We used this Hotel at the beginning and end of our european tour. We were very pleased with the atmosphere and cleanliness. Staff were nice and sitting outside with a bite to eat and a few glasses of wine was very pleasant. After many disasters of choice on previous outings I would recommend this highly, and indeed it is now my choice of stay,

"Good Hotel, Good Location but check the bar bill!"

Four of us stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. Room was good but discovered a broken table in our room. Set in very nice surroundings and near to Bruges centre, They run a shuttle bus service for a small fee. We ate at the restaurant on one night and the meal was very good although a bit expensive. We drank at the bar several times and the bill was added to our room although we never got anything to sign. When we checked out we found that we were being charged for all sorts of drinks we had not had so beware and ask for a receipt when drinking at the bar.

"Did not meet my expectations for a Premier level standard"

We are Bestwestern Rewards members so my opinion is formulated around our expectations of Bestwestern and especially a Premier location.  First off, we had assumed that there would be shuttle service from the train station to this location.  We called to find out that there is no service.  It is too far to comfortably walk here from the train station so we were forced to pay a 20 euro taxi ride to go 1.8 miles to the hotel.  That put me in bad mood right from the get go. Upon arrival when I mentioned this issue, the front desk agreed to sell us a voucher of 13.50 euros for our return trip to the train station via a taxi.  Good deal? Our room was huge. Lots of wasted space.  We could easily have had our son stay with us in the room via a roll away bed.  This would have been an option in the states.  We were never given that option here, and we had to pay for another huge room to accommodate our son. The room showed a lot of wear and tear.  The rug had visible, high traffic stain areas.  The room was clean but not that high level of sanitation you expect from Premier locations.  There was a huge crack and chipped paint area above our bathroom door.  Not acceptable standards for a Premier location. I have mixed feeling about the breakfast experience.  Some things were pulled off beautifully.  Others were sub par.  They offered champagne at the breakfast which I loved.  The cold cut presentation looked tired and leftover.  Not sure about it.  They had a mixed fruit bowl that looked appealing, but by the time we got to it, it was nearly empty.  The apple tart was very good.  The coffee machine was excellent.  The pastry offerings tasted store bought instead of made on the premises.  Overall it was hit or miss. It is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, but I did not think the landscaping or the views were magical or superbly appealing.   I would try not to stay here again if we ever go back to Bruges.  The whole taxi issue still bothers me, and I would expect that a Premier location would have better service options for people using the train as their arrival option.

Weinebrugge, Front Office Manager at Best Western Premier Weinebrugge, responded to this review
Dear Bonnie Gaborek, Thank you for completing the survey regarding your recent stay at our property. Concerning the roll away bed: As far as I can remember (I was the person that checked you in I suppose) and can see in my system, you have booked two superior rooms. As we gave you an upgrade for both rooms (from superior to junior suite) I guess that the rooms must have been to spacious. I supposed that your son wanted his own room, what happens often when families are staying together in our hotel, to have his own privacy. In case people want a roll away bed they should book one double room and ask for the roll away bed for the extra person in the room. Concerning our shuttle service: As we aren't located in the centre of the city we offer our clients a shuttle service to the centre. This is a fixed point in the city so we don't have to make it difficult for our staff or the guests. I don't really think that it is possible to have shuttles going from the station to the hotel and shuttles going from the centre back to the hotel. Everything we do is in purpose to make the guest his stay better. We can't change our location but I will remember your comment for the future. Concerning the breakfast: As we are also trying to improve our breakfast offer I will take you review with me to improve our breakfast experience. If I can be of assistance in the future, please don't hesitate to contact me at 003250384440. Thank you again for taking the time to complete the survey. We appreciate your loyalty to our brand. Sincerely, Mathieu Lootens Front Office Manager Premier Weinebrugge

"would have been great, but....."

from the outside this is a very nice hotel and in a wonderful location. BUT! When we walked in the gentleman sitting behind the desk never smiled, was gruff and when I said we have reservation immediately told us the hotel would no longer be a BW hotel starting Jan 2019. We went to our room and dropped off luggage and went for a walk - found an amazing walking path that led to a beautiful castle. upon returning to our room, we noticed a very strange sensation - you know when you open the back window in your car just a little and it creates sort of a vacuum and strange noise. well, we had that. couldn't change rooms because several soccer teams were staying at hotel. Then we found the reason our bathroom was so hot, the floor was heated - great feature for winter but it was hot outside and took forever to figure out how to turn it off. when we went to check out there was different gentleman working the front desk, same horrible attitude. Asked him to email a copy of bill. Never showed up (and yes, I even checked my spam folder). Breakfast was nice and room had fridge. But we didn't sleep well due to strange air flow. Bottomline, a hotel can look nice from the outside but it's what's inside that counts.

"Calm and reflective"

I was in a long holidays touring to Europe during winter time, which was going through long and winding trips by driving. The hotel was a real relaxing spot once you arrived in the cold late evening. Fast service is good, but what was best was all the nice ambience inside and the outdoor. And so the restaurant was of premium spot for romantic as well as family dinner.

"Best Wesern Premier Weinebrugge"

This is a lovely hotel only a few miles from the city center. It's in a very quiet residential area that lends itself to relaxing evening strolls. Very clean accommodations with large comfortable rooms and a nice restaurant and bar. The staff is very courteous and helpful. This hotel is truly a treasure!

"Lovely welcome !"

Arrived at the hotel early as had just come off ferry ! The receptionist was super helpful and gave us a room that was ready! Beautiful room lovely and clean and nice bathroom! Got the shuttle service into Bruges and back which was fab! Had a lovely burger in the bar and a couple of drinks all really nice. Breakfast was in a lovely sunny area but this was the only thing I could fault hardly any hot food left! Could have asked I suppose but was happy to have the other food available! Again check out was fab! Just want to say that both of the ladies on reception were super helpful and friendly and their English fab ! Love this hotel and Bruges itself will definitely be back !!!!

"Great hotel ,Great value ,just off the E40,ideal stop over, free parking."

Found by chance, very pleased with the service, excellent rooms which are modern, very clean with tea/coffee facilities, good selection of bathroom toiletries, nice soft towels, Breakfast selection of both hot & cold food etc from 7 am,was really good, Will stay again for sure,

"Charming wee hotel -"

Was booked in here for business trip which the hotel handled magnificently - Really professional and nothing could be too much trouble, we booked 4 bedrooms and then a conference room where we had about 40 delegates attend for seminar we were running. At same time, as you do with business trips, wonder if hotel would be good for personal, break / holiday... And it was, really quaint, lovely staff, amazingly quiet, great wee bar... What else could you ask for, and only 10mins in a cab to Bruges itself... Totally recommend this place.

"Nice place to stay and good value"

Used as a one night stop over this hotel was ideal. Some way out of the city but has it's own restaurant which was a good standard. Pleasant staff, my room was quite large and had everything needed. Free parking, would happily stay here again.

After reading the reviews here, I booked the hotel via weekendesk (so on a promo) as a Christmas gift for my husband. We went this week and stayed 1 night, with our 2 year old daughter. We arrived later in the evening than foreseen, it was after 9pm and way past bedtime for the little one. Check-in was quick, not super friendly but not unpolite neither, by a young man. We went up to our room (127) and found out that there was no babybed although i had specifically requested this upfront. And he did check us in with our 2 year old... you'd think he would have asked us or checked if we needed a baby bed. Back downstairs... where the young man said he would bring the bed, which he did a few mins later but instead of helping my husband carrying the bed into the room, he just stood there. Not that it's heavy but it's easier to manouvre with two... Good things about the room: spatious, clean and also the bathroom was pretty big with a beautiful walk-in rain shower. Unfortunately: the water tap in the bathroom seemed to be completely calcified as the water sprayed out everywhere once you've opened it. We also couldn't get the rain shower to work although the two of us really tried to figure it out. It was also way too hot in the bedroom, almost 25 degrees and despite fiddling with the two (?) thermostats, the temperature wouldn't drop. Why two btw? The worst thing was that everything trembled in that room, from the mirror to the door to the floor. I couldn't exactly figure out what it was, maybe we were sitting on top of an airco from the restaurant below? We had to use a sock to stop the mirror from trembling (and making noise) and depending on where you were standing, you'd get a free footmassage. Or was it the vent in the bathroom that caused all that? Then there had to be something wrong with it... After a not so good night sleep (the bed was fantastic though), breakfast was served in a meeting room. I don't understand... It was ok in terms of offering and the women managing everything was friendly and really tried sitting everyone when suddenly there were no tables anymore and people waiting. But why in a meetingroom? The kitchen mustn't have been closeby and there was nothing to keep things fresh like meat or fruit. And it wasn't really a nice place to eat breakfast. Maybe the restaurant wasn't available that day? But If you would communicate that upon arrival, people would surely understand. Check-out then, again by the young man, was ok and quick. But he didn't bother asking how our stay was...Maybe he was afraid to hear the answer?

"Pre-Christmas stay"

Very nice, politie and professional welcomed. It's my 2nd return this year. Always a pleasure to stay here. Very nice and quite. 5 min drive or 20 min walk to city center, ideal place to be in day busy and evening relax times

"Lovely modern boutique hotel - loved my stay and would have liked to return soon"

The hotel is situated close to Brugge, the receptionist was very kind and helpful, yet room service does not work during the evening and night, as we arrived late we received what we needed by contacting the receptionist who was very helpful. The room was huge, modern, clean, very quiet, clean, very comfortable bed, very good breakfast ?? a lovely dining room. Free parking, free Wi-fi, the only problem we faced was having been quite far from the dining room.

"Best Western Weinbrugge"

A beautiful hotel just outside Bruges which I would use if I make a return trip to the area. Friendly staff & they upgraded my daughter to a suite as she was on her honeymoon. Due to bad weather our taxi did not turn up so after over an hours wait the manager defrosted his car & took us into the city center (Over & above the call of duty)

"Great location "

Stayed here for three nights. From check in to check out I couldn't fault anything. The check in was very quick and efficient and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. You can get a bus number 27 just outside the hotel into the bus station in Bruges for 3 Euro each single or you can use the hotel shuttle bus at certain times throughout the day for 5 Euro per room. Room was spacious and bathroom with a bath was a great addition. A nice touch was the chocolate on the bedside locker every day and the complimentary bottle of water in the room also. Breakfast was adequate with cereal, breads, rolls, pasteries, yoghurt. The coffee was delicious and one could also have latte or hot chocolate. The bar was a great asset to the hotel and very comfortable. Great stay and would return if ever again in Bruges.

"Huge room, comfortable furnishings, easy access"

Selected this hotel as a stopover while travelling from holland to calais. Also wanted a hotel that was close enough to get into bruges easy as we wanted to visit xmas market. As it was just off the motorway it gave easy access while in a quiet location. Less than 10 min drive to centre of bruges. Found room to be huge, very comfortable furnishings. Bed comfortable but lowest i have ever seen which gave a few issues but on the whole a comfortable good sleep was had. Bathroom was huge too with lovely walk in shower and heated mirror. At check in was advised breakfast was €12 if booked that night or €17 in the morning. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice, not the greatest i have seen however mostly fresh and tasty. One niggle however was finding after drinking two actimels that they were put of date by 5 days!! Would strongly NOT reccomend eating in the hotel for dinner. Long wait for food and when it came was dissapointing. Very expensive and not very tasty. Meatballs even came pink in the middle with blood running out of them. Overall would stay again but would not eat dinner and would ensure the breakfast was included in the room rate.

"I don't know how they got 4 stars"

This hotel is a decent and average hotel. The best thing about this hotel: The wifi quality and speed. The worst thing about this hotel: The breakfast. Lets have a detailed look... Arriving at the hotel The hotel is easy to find and has a huge (and free) parking lot on the premises. The check-in was fast and easy. We arrived a bit later so it took a little while before someone showed up at reception. Our room was easy to find based on the description given. The only thing disconcerting was when the elevator started to ascend with open doors. But somehow the machine noticed that, stopped, closed the doors and continued on. The room The room had a decent size, but the furniture looks quite old. The bathroom on the other hand was remodelled recently. The biggest problem with the room was the way the heating system worked. At the lobby we were told the AC is also used for heating the room. When we entered the AC was set to 25° C. This was fine for my fiancee, but unacceptable for me, so we compromised 22° during the evening and 20° during the night. After I set the AC to 22° it took less than 10 minutes before it kicked in started blowing in cool air. This would have been fine, but the AC didn't stop, even after more than an hour it was still blasting cold air in. So I had to set the AC back to 25° and after a while the cool air stopped streaming in. Now this is a case of personal taste, but while my fiancee liked the room temperature, I didn't. Now onto the bathroom temperature... In the bathroom was a heated towel rack. The heating was set to 20° C, but that didn't work either. After a while the towel rack was too hot to touch, so the room temperature got really hot aswell. As it was a bathroom the higher temperature was fine, even for me, but still... During our first shower the water was just luke-warm, but every subsequent shower was ok, so maybe it was just bad luck. The beds were fine, sleeping wasn't an issue. Room service cleaned the room everyday and left a little piece of chocolate on the bedside table. This bedside table hadn't been cleaned for a while considering there was a noticeable layer of dust, but this was cleaned on day 2. Breakfast The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but a few things to complain about. The selection was rather limited compared to other 4 star hotels. There was a selection of coffees, 2 types of juices, scrambled eggs, bacon and beans, a selection of 5 different meats, cheeses and jelly, cereals and fresh fruits, but that's it. No veggies, no pancakes, no sweets, no omlettes and so much more things you might expect in a 4 star hotel. On sunday there were a lot of guest at the same time enjoying breakfast, but the staff had trouble keeping up with everything. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but in a 4 star hotel the staff usually picks up empty plates from your table, but even after we started stacking the plates staff went by empty handed (not just on a busy sunday, but every day). But the worst breakfast "offense", it looked like some leftovers from sunday were served on monday. They are charging 17 € for breakfast (it was included in our room), I had better breakfasts for half that price. Considering everything this hotel deserves 3 stars easily, but no more than that. It is the great place to start your tour of Bruges. Don't listen to the guy at the reception concerning the parking situation in Bruges. This hotel offers a shuttle service for 5 Euros one way, which is ok, but they try to dissuade you from using the train station parking lot. This parking lot costs 3,50 Euros per day and you can ride the bus for free to the market square every few minutes. There is no reason to choose an inner city parking lot. They are way too pricey for the little extra comfort they add.

"Amazingly easy"

To be honest, I didn't see much of the hotel, I checked in, went to bed, showered and had breakfast there. The room was nice and the bathroom very spacious and clean. Breakfast was ok. But what was remarkable was the ease of getting things done in this hotel, everyone seemed one step ahead of me. Leaving my car in the carpark while traveling by taxi to the center of Brugge was no hassle at all. I wasn't even checked in yet because I arrived before check-in was possible, but I was welcome to leave my car in the carpark and the offered taxi vouchers where charged to my room before I even checked in. Arriving back late (23:30) for check-in didn't bother them either, I was checked in my room in record time. The only slight hiccup was the next morning when I told the lady at the breakfast buffet my room number and someone else had mistakenly claimed mine. But I was quickly told I could go and get my much needed croissant and coffee anyway while they figured out what had gone wrong. I had originally booked my room for two, but in the end traveled alone, so on check out the front desk realized this and proactively removed the extra tourist tax from my bill, just a coupe of euros, but as with everything else, awesome service! After another day in Brugge I collected my car that was still sitting in the carpark and within no time I was back on the motorway on my way home, I just wish the Belgian motorways were as smooth as the service at Weinebrugge :)

"A great choice!"

A bit of a walk from the marketplatz with luggage on cobblestone streets... Next time would spend the 10 euro or so for a taxi! There is no parking available IN Brugges so that can be an issue. I researched ahead and ended up parking at the edge of town in a covered parking garage. Very reasonable - I think it was 15 or 20 Euro for over 24 hours. What ever you do, DON'T try and 'find the hotel' then find parking. My friend insisted we do that and ended up in a variety of bad situations with many dark looks from pedestrians and bicyclists! Had to back out of very narrow streets and it was NOT fun! There was a construction area that was throwing my GPS off, so finally abandoned that and went for the parking structure directly. The hotel room was large and very clean. Bathroom modern and comfortable. My room overlooked a lovely courtyard. It was "a little" difficult to FIND the room, so pay attention when they tell you how to get there. The signs didn't totally make sense for room location. I did eat the breakfast buffet one morning and it was quite good and reasonably priced. I did wish I had taken a snack and bottle of water with me when I returned late in the evening as there was not really anything available to purchase. Staff was kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

"Great hotel in a good location"

The hotel is set just outside the hustle bustle of Brugge, and close to the highway. Rooms were nice and clean. This was my second stay there and I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast is not that great, but OK. The staff are nice & friendly. The hotel gardens are very nice. It was raining, so didn't have a chance to sit outside.

Average stay. Room spacious but outdated. Carpet was not properly vacuumed, bathroom also not cleaned well with lots of dust on the radiator. Wi-fi had good speed but was unstable. Breakfast considering the price was average. No fresh veggies like cucumber, tomato or peppers. On the good side the bed was very comfortable, parking is big and convenient. Location is out of town but it it very quiet with good access to the motorway.

Weinebrugge, Manager at Best Western Premier Weinebrugge, responded to this review
I am sorry that we could not meet your expectations. I will pass your comments about cleanliness to our housekeeping staff. This is very unusual, since we have an excellent reputation on cleanliness. Concerning the WIFI : we are checked by several organizations on a yearly basis to meet certain WIFI standards, that we exceed seriously. Breakfast is a warm and cold buffet with a large selection of everything. It is impossible to enlarge the selection of products that we already offer.

"Used as a base for visiting galleries and castles"

The rooms were excellent, spacious with good bathrooms. The restaurant. was fantastic with a good choice of menu and well cooked and presented. The hotel was in a good loaction outside the heart of the town and set in fine gardens. We really enjoyed our stay

thank you very much.

"A wonderful hotel with friendly and helpful staff!"

We used this hotel as a stop over night en-route to Germany from the UK. We were gutted that we weren't staying longer! The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, and the design of the building is lovely. It looks like a chateaux with it's small turrets and white walls. Very pretty! The hotel inside is spotlessly clean. It's finished to a high standard, and you really feel like you are staying in a luxury hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and all spoke English. They helped us get into Bruges in the evening, and recommended places to eat out there. The rooms are nicely furnished, and comfortable. You can tell this place is cared about! Breakfast was lovely, and there was lots of variety. The only downside to this hotel? Having to leave so soon :( Thanks to all the staff for making it a lovely stay :)

Thank you very much. I will pass it on to the colleagues. It will help them to continue doing their daily efforts to make our guests feel a little bit at home.

"Quiet Location but not in town "

Very nice hotel. Clean, quiet, good breakfast buffet. Top notch service from front desk and restaurant servers. Excellent dinner menu in restaurant. Not located in town, but only cost 13 Euros for six for van transportation. Be sure to get taxi voucher at hotel. It's less expensive than paying directly.

Weinebrugge, Manager at Best Western Premier Weinebrugge, responded to this review
Thank you. We are not situated in the city centre, but we have a large free parking lot (hard to find in Bruges) and it is quiet. To get into town you can choose our shuttle service (3 times a day at 5 € per room one way) or a taxi voucher (13.50 € one way). Parking in Bruges is also possible in the different parking garages at a very reasonable price ...

"Excellent high quality hotel near Brugge"

Stayed one night in October 2017. Very high quality hotel with extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant. Spotlessly clean modern rooms. Plenty of parking on site. Pleasant quiet location outside of Brugge with easy access to motorways. Very highly recommended without reservation.

"Another Comfortable Stay"

This was my third time staying at the Best Western Premier Weinebrugge, and once again the staff were very helpful and polite. Check in and check out was quick and simple. Bed was comfy, room was quiet, food was great.

"Very good hotel with helpful staff"

The reception and other staff are very helpful and pleasant. The car park is right outside and free which is great. The rooms are really good. we did not have breakfast so cannot comment. The shuttle bus was replaced on our visit by a taxi but we were still only charge 5 euros. A taxi costs 15!! Food was really nice in the bar bistro and there is a great selection of beers. Dont miss out on this gem it really is that good which i think is because it is privately owned under the best western banner

"Certainly recommend this hotel"

A great place to stay on the outskirts of Bruges. A shuttle bus to and from Bruges only takes 10 mins. The hotel is well situated only 5 mins from E40 motorway the location is rural although there is a busy main road just by. Not that it was a problem. A good size car park very useful as parking in Bruges is very limited. Only an hour to Dunkirk ferry. . The staff were all very helpfull and nothing was to much trouble, we ate in the restaurant which was excellent. We had booked an executive room which was very large and comfortable with a balcony. Well situated for either a stop of for a night or a longer stay to visit the area.

"Highly Recommend"

Situated within minutes of the motorway from Brussels and within 10 minutes drive to the centre of Brugge. Wonderful relaxing countryside setting. I stayed for two nights in a room in the new extension which was very good. Friendly staff and an excellent restaurant and bar.

"A gem of a place"

A super family run hotel on the outskirts of Bruges. Lovely setting with super rooms and a shuttle which transports you to the city centre for a small charge. Staff all very helpful and friendly and the restaurant is worth a visit as it is high standard and good value. All in all would certainly return is back in this area. Plenty of free parking available also.

"Excellent Hotel Experience"

The Best Western Premier Weinebrugge, Brugge is an excellent hotel. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. This hotel stands head and shoulders above other hotels we stayed at during our vacation.

"Friendly and efficient"

We had a group booking and the hotel was efficient and welcoming, and put a lot of effort on ensuring we had a wonderful last night party there. I would happily book there again. The food and service was excellent.

"Perfect stop by"

Arrived rather late after a long drive through Germany. Convenient parking and a great restaurant made me feel instantly at home. Only one downside is that their wifi only allow connections to "normal" internet services such as email and websites, I had need to connect to our server's backend and that was blocked, but that is just me...

"Short break"

This is a wonderful hotel with great staff and a fantastic restaurant. The rooms were well kept and we had access to a patio too which in the hot sunny weather made the week. The bed was really comfy and there was a little surprise chocolate each night. A lovely place to sleep and really quiet at night too. The Bistro and Bar were well presented while sitting in the courtyard was great. The restaurant as said is lovely with all dishes being good but the fish dishes were outstanding. We will return.

"Good hotel in the park"

Just nearby a beautiful park with several animals, ideal to run or walk, the hotel is neat and with good rooms, breakfast very pleasant. Only negative note the ridicolous and abandoned "gym", not even Worth calling it that way, that although they boast as if they had one...

"Long stay"

Been staying at this hotel nearly every week during the week for the last 10 months and now on my last visit, in all that time I have had a handful of minor issues that have been dealt with immediately, I have probably stayed in the majority of the rooms in the hotel and had no problems in any, housekeeping do a spectacular job The bar area is relaxing and does good food, the best thing about this hotel are the staff, always friendly and welcoming making it a home from home for me Would definitely stay again

"Nice Surprise "

Very good hotel, definitely not a US Best Western. The hotel affers comfortable and very clean rooms, also a good restaurant and a nice bar. People here are very welcome and polite. The hotel is located only few miles away from Bruges. I would say a very good place where to stay.

"Good Experience"

I liked this hotel. Good price with breakfast included. I made my reservation via email which I found very convenient. No credit card blocking. They responded almost immediately. Very comfortable and quiet room. Convenient parking lot with more than enough space. Nice small gardens seen from the restaurant. Good buffet in the morning. Very kind, corteous and friedly staff. Attractive building design. Good location. It is next to a nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. However it is on the way out of the city. You will definitely need a car. Aprox 10 minute easy drive to downtown. I like Best Western hotels in Europe. I have stayed in 3 and they are all very comfortable; and they make everything easy, which is what I look for.

"Great Value, Very Welcoming & Friendly"

The Hotel is easy to find, has plenty of convenient parking and perfect for getting out and about without having to negotiate the tight cobbled streets of the City Centre. If you are on an exploring holiday this would be perfect as a base. It is a 10 minute taxi ride to the city centre, as others have said, but Taxi's are relatively inexpensive and the Hotel has a great arrangement with a local firm, they book it for you, give you a card and the taxi is charged to your room job done. What you spend on Taxi's is set off by savings on the cost of staying in the City Centre, and car parking. The staff from reception to bar and dining room were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable & clean. Some rooms, including ours (we had room 102) are above the meeting and function rooms and I would imagine if you are a light sleeper and a party was going you may hear it, fortunately all quiet during our stay. Breakfast is good and plentiful, if I had one minor criticism is that the scrambled eggs stay in a warmer and were overdone on a couple of mornings but that was the only issue food wise. We'd happily stay again!!

"Just loved our stay here!"

We had booked 2 rooms at this beautiful hotel and were completely in love with it!! The hotel was a cute mini castle like property, and immaculately clean. Loved our room, loved the entire hotel property, including the restaurant where they served breakfast. We had some really good half fried eggs at breakfast in addition to the other items! Right from the lady at the reception who helped us with a quick hassle free check in, to the lady who managed the breakfast were all so kind and efficient! I will definitely stay here the next time i visit bruges!

"Dublin to Berlin by car"

Excellent stopover between Calais and Germany. Beside motorway. Sparkling clean. Terrace outside room with table, hairs and ashtray. Bathroom was perfect as were their selection of soap, shampoo etc. Bed was comfortable. Safe and secure location for solo traveller. Taxi to Brugge €7. Free parking in hotel.

"Very very good "

Pulled in too early to check in but welcomed and assisted without a problem. A lovely feel to this hotel, food was served, presented and tasted excellent. Rooms clean, spacious with comfortable bed. Car parking plentiful A really good hotel 10 minutes drive from Brugge with an alternative bus service if required

Hotel Excellent staff. .very nice food Excellent rooms very nice had a good night's sleep queen size bed lovely and clean we are going back parking good they have a shuttle taxi do you do not have to use your own car

"Clean and comfortable"

We stayed for one night en route to visit friends in Germany - the hotel is conveniently located close to, but not right next to, the motorway and very easy to find. No noise at all from the traffic. We would definitely use this hotel again

"Stay over night for business."

The hotel is in the middle of nature. Very quite, nice and calm. Nothing more can be offered. The dinner was in a small and cozy dining room. With a fire place and candels. The fish of the day was excellent. The price was just a bit over the average for a normal hotel dinner. Rooms were very big and clean. The breakfast is ok A good place for a stop.

"Very disappointing."

Just off the motorway, but if we had not set this hotel on the satnav we would have passed it, as we did not see a sign in the main road. The party of 4 had 2 rooms, one large but with dim lighting, no bathmat, and not one of the chairs was really comfortable, the other small and dark - but both the same price. One of the party is Coeliac, so wanted to check that the request for a gluten-free breakfast had been received. The receptionist appeared not to have heard of such a thing. We felt that breakfast was poor anyway, being a buffet in a cramped room with food poorly labelled and not as much choice as one would expect. The set dinner was advertised at Eur 72!. We went down the road and found excellent food for much less. We would not stay here again.

"No Sleep"

Having read all the reviews, most being positive, we were looking forward to staying here. It was our final stop after 2 weeks of touring Europe. We did not have the easiest drive to get to it due to the motorway coming to a complete standstill so we ended up going around an 1 and a half diversion. Please bear this in mind as advertised as easiest access but only the case if the motorway is running. The building is pretty to look at and loads of parking which is a bonus, checking in was a commotion as some buffet / party being held in the middle of reception. Room was nice enough, spacious and clean. We walked into town as the shuttle bus as advertised only runs early in the morning and later in the afternoon. The receptionist informed me a 45 minute walk, more like an hour, that's at a fast pace. We did not sleep at all on the night, there was a party which felt like it was next to our room, we were ground floor, room 001, so avoid if possible and booking on a Saturday night. i can list all the songs played it was so loud, even with ear plugs in! The music finally stopped at 1.45am! Great having no sleep when you have to drive the next day!!

"Lovely hotel"

Me and my partner travelled to Bruges on bike. The hotel was stunning, the bedroom was a good size and the bathroom was even better! When booking the hotel it was supposed to be €82 however they did not include the city charge, which took the bill up to €109, my partner who was paying wasn't impressed. For 2 drinks (whiskey and a martini) it cost nearly €18! And also there is no motorbike parking. But the service was great.

"Champions of England - First game in Europe"

Friendly, helpful staff particularly Kathleen- thank you Very clean spacious bedroom Great breakfast selection Fair way out of the centre of Brugge but shuttle bus service available Perfect end to an LCFC victory in Brugge

"Brugge by car"

Best Western is a bit hit and miss around the world, but the Weinebrugge BWPremier is top notch for those coming to Brugge by car. It is spacious, clean, trendy and very comfortable. This is Perhaps the gold standard of motels. Easy and plentiful parking. Quick drive from major motorway and into Brugge. Highly recommended.

naomid128, Manager at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Weinebrugge, responded to this review
Thank you for this nice review. Our hotel is indeed known by many people as a stopover from and to the UK.

"Very disappointing all round"

I was expecting great things having read the reviews. Our room was dark with one small window and in need of re-decoration. I had asked for a gluten-free breakfast on our booking form, but this was ignored. The man on reception had no idea what I was talking about and was not at all helpful, which is unacceptable for a supposedly 4* hotel. Very disappointing stay.

naomid128, Manager at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Weinebrugge, responded to this review
I am very sorry that we could not meet your expectations. Concerning the gluten free, it is always better to contact the hotel directly, instead of relying on an automated system, because it will go wrong ...

"Great hotel for a Bruges visit"

This was our second stay and once again we were very impressed with the quality of the hotel and the attentiveness of the staff. Located in between the motorway and the city centre, access to either is only a few minutes by car. The hotel is very well looked after and the décor is very modern. Highly recommended.

"Hotel Weinebrugge"

Excellent hotel - the rooms are large and airy and we had a patio which was nice to sit out on. The very good quality and the breakfast is an excellent buffet. The hotel run a well organised shuttle into Bruges which was quick and inexpensive - much better than trying to drive in.

"High Class Restaurant and hotel"

this new hotel has a very high class restaurant with excellent food. The breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. As a diamond car holder I was upgrades to a junior suite which was was a large room with all the things a business person requires, desk, chair, good wifi connection. Large walk in shower in the bathroom with 2 shower heads. Plenty of parking places and near to main road network.

"Stop over on route to Italy"

I've used this beautiful family run hotel for years now and have to say it always impresses. From reception to chatting to the chef in the evening the entire place pleases. I will always adjust my travels to stay here. The food is lovely, the developments in the bar and hotel complement the experience.

"Immaculate Hotel"

I stayed here on business with a colleague whilst travelling back from Germany. The hotel is immaculate. The best Best Western hotel I have stayed in. Situated on the outskirts of Bruges, but they have a great deal with a taxi company who books the taxi cost to your room and half the price of a normal taxi. I cannot rate this place high enough. Breakfast is fantastic, even champagne for Buck's Fizz if you fancy one. Will definitely stay here again.

"Fabulous hotel"

What a beautiful hotel this is,nothing was too much trouble. The staff speak very good English. The rooms are huge, and luxurious with patio doors onto a balcony.Lovely walk in showers. Huge soft towels are provided, along with slippers and bathrobes. I advise you ask for the new part of the hotel as these are the most pleasant rooms. The food is excellent. The hotel is central for sightseeing with ample parking.

booked in for three nights. two rooms so I could show my mother bruge. she is quite frail so asked for two rooms on ground floor. no problem's with that I have stayed here before so knew what to expect nice big beds very clean with a great restaurant .and very friendly staff .breakfast is good and nice choice of food. within easy reach of bruge and they have a shuttle bus if you don't want to drive. highly recommended

"Well located for Golf on the best 3 courses in Belgium"

This is a great hotel well equipped with spacious rooms with friendly and helpful staff. We had B&B - self service breakfast with a great choice of dishes. It's so easy to get into Brugge hundreds of bars and restaurants to choose from. The hotel location was good - close to the motorway between Calais/Ostend just a couple of miles to the centre of Brugge. No need to drive if you are fancying a Belgium beer or two, just ask reception for a taxi voucher and get yourselves into Brugge it costs 12.50 euros whether it's a taxi for 4 or 8 people same price a no brainer. The hotel is situated within half a hours drive of Royal Ostend GC, Damme Golf & Country Club and Oostburg Golf & Country Club three superb golf courses. You won't be disappointed. There were 30 of us in our group and we all thoroughly enjoyed the tour………….we'll be back!!!

"Awesome Stay beautiful view"

We were reluctant to stay with a chain hotel on our European vacation, but this one was well worth it. Located on beautiful grounds, close to restaurants, very well done and well maintained. Lovely hotel

"Very Good and well located hotel"

This is a very nice hotel well equipped and with spacious rooms. The location was good - close to the motorway between Calais/Ostend and Gent/Brussels and just a couple of miles to the centre of Bruges. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful - a good ambassador for the hotel. Very good breakfast with the usual continental buffet and a hot "English" buffet. This would have been a 5 star but for a sink plug not working and not repaired after complaining (to a male receptionist) and a few tired areas - stair carpet rather worn and some of the corridor decoration in need of some work.

"Great Location for Those with Cars!"

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and especially enjoyed the ease of access from the E40 and the fact we could park our car for free. Driving and parking in Bruges is a nightmare until July 15th due to the construction of a tunnel for bicycles near the Central Station; so park your car at the hotel and take the shuttle which was really a taxi...€5 per room. It is offered 3 times per day into the city...10:15, 11:30, and 18:30 (with drop off near the Markt across from Dumon's Chocolates) and 3 return times...11:45, 18:45, and 22:00. If you want drop-off or pick up at other times or locations, you can purchase a one-way taxi voucher at the front desk for €13.50. The hotel itself is very nice and comfortable. In addition, the staff was kind and helpful.

"It's ok. "

So we stood here for 2 nights. It is a very beautiful hotel inside and out. However the staff are not the nicest. Very rude and they seem bothered by questions. We ended up getting a "bigger" room because the bed wouldn't accommodate my husband myself and my son. We booked through booking which included breakfast in the package, but when we upgraded our bed we ended up paying more for the room and no breakfast included! Which was very rude and odd to say the least. So we paid for breakfast for the next 3 days which was €24 or so for my husband and I. There was a red headed women there who would watch us as if we were going to steal the food we paid for. She made us very uncomfortable and she should have a better attitude towards paying customers. A smile would have changed the situation. In fact they all seemed so bothered to be working. I would not recommend this hotel to young families and have told many friends about our experience. Such a shame this hotel can be so much better if they had happier people.

"Wow ! Great place."

Were here for four days. Excellent very spacious room with balcony. Great breakfast buffet. Excellent restaurant and bar. Very friendly and effective staff. A very well managed hotel and superior value for money. Spotlessly clean inside and outside, manicured gardens and parking area. Convenient location between motorway and town center.

"A lovely quiet hotel"

We stayed for one night. The staff were really friendly, and the room was of a very high standard, and very big. The food in the restaurant was amazing and we had a lovely time. All the staff spoke English and several other languages. I would definitely go back there and stay in this hotel to visit Brugge and feel it was good value.

"Massive rooms and lovely food"

I stayed here on business and ate in the restaurant. This hotel was absolutely fantastic, lovely big rooms, very good food, both for dinner and breakfast. Plenty of free parking too, which is needed as the hotel is quite far from any town.

"Lovely hotel"

Stayed here recently for a meeting. Everything was fabulous. Friendly staff, nice, clean and spacious rooms and great food! Had breakfast and dinner twice. There is free parking and free wifi. The city centre of Bruge is about 3km. Don't miss it. It's a beautiful city!

"Comfortable stay for a city trip to Bruges"

We spent the Valentine weekend at this hotel. I would like to say that this hotel is very comfortable and very good if you are visiting Bruges. The staff is really friendly and always try to help you. The hotel is about 8 min drive from the centre of Bruges. There is a movie theater 5 min drive from the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and really nice. You have a minibar in the room and all the necessities. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the centre of Bruges, for 5 euro per ride or a taxi service for 13,50 euro per ride. But you can also ride with your own car to the centre of Bruges and park at the trainstation for 3,50 per day or 0,70 per hour. The breakfast at the hotel is very tasty. The mixed tropical fruit that they offer is really nice. Fresh bread and different spreads will make your morning ritual at this hotel very good. We really enjoyed are stay and wil be coming back in the future.

"great hotel"

booked this hotel for three nights. just a little trip to see bruge. the room was great huge very comfortable bed.very clean good facilities .and one of the best restaurants I've been in for years they run a shuttle service to the town so it's very easy to get in .great place to stay.

"Another thoroughly enjoyable stay"

This was our third New Year break staying at the hotel and it was as good as ever. The rooms are very comfortable, the whole team at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. Our New Year Gala Dinner was superb and perhaps the best in the 3 years we have been. Whilst a little way out of town this is no handicap even if you are there for a short break as you can drive in easily, use the hotel shuttle or the taxi service. We can only recommend this as one of our favourite hotels which will be even better when the new bar extension opens in the Spring.

Weinebrugge, Manager at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Weinebrugge, responded to this review
Thank you for this nice review.

"A small and elegant hotel"

It is a small hotel located 10 min. driving from Brugges city centre. Rooms are very nice and large. Breakfast was also very good, as well as receptionist that was very helpful with parking advise for our visit in the city centre.

"Country house feel"

Large green area around the hotel, it's a quiet place, the room was large, the double bed was large and comfy. Plus: Free parking, free WIFI, coffee/tea maker in the room. Minus: Not so close to the city center, they do offer a shuttle but it's not free and only runs a few times/day, a car is recommended.

"Christmas Markets"

We had a two night stay. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was massive. We ate in the restaurant the first night, where the food was excellent, as it was the second night when we just ate in the bar. Service was extremely good, friendly and helpful. They even have a friendly cat!! Easily accessible from the centre of Bruges by car.

"Glad it was so nice"

warm friendly staff, great room and food was good as well , nice easy drive from Bruges and only just over an hour from Brussels and I would say great location , there was some building work going where we were there but it was not a problem

Weinebrugge, Manager at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Weinebrugge, responded to this review
thank you for taking the time to respond. The construction is an enlargement of our bar. They are working during the day at the outside of the bar. This does not affect anything inside and there is only few noise during the day. The bar will be closed for a couple of days in January to do everything necessary at the inside. The new Bistro Weinebrugge will be an enhancement in the near future ...

"4.5 "

We stayed here while attending the Davis Cup final. It's a very nice hotel with great staff. Is 20 mins from Bruges, the Reception can get you a taxi. They give you a voucher to give to the driver then it gets put into your room. €12.50 for the taxi. They also offer a shuttle for €5. We are in the bar last night, I had steak which was pretty good too. The Rooms were very nice, big, they have BBC1 & 2. They also have WiFi, now a lot of hotels 'offer' wifi but don't deliver. However, this place HAS WiFi. Which is pretty quick and you don't need passwords and stuff. The only reason I have marked it down, is we had a dirty towel one day.

"Excellent hotel and location "

For the money you really can't go wrong with this place.. Family run I believe with friendly staff and an excellent restaurant (the Irish fillet was one of the best I have had). Well positioned on the outskirts of town and just a €13 taxi fare to the town centre. If you are coming from the Eurotunnel then the drive is very straight forward and just over 1.5 hours of motorway driving.. Some of the central Bruge hotels wanted £200 a night! This is a great find and fantastic base for the Xmas market and restaurants.. Will definitely return. 5 stars.

"Quaint property on the edge of town"

We stayed at the Best Western Premier Weinebrugge for one night during a brief stopover in Bruges and the first impression was that it was a nice quaint property on the edge of town. We arrived approx. 1:30pm and were told the room wasn't ready and that check-in wasn't until 3pm which was fine as we were offered a place to secure our luggage whilst we ventured into the city centre to explore. Upon our return for check-in, everything was quite quick given the initial check in process was completed when we first arrived. I was a bit disappointed to see that as a Diamond member of the Best Western Rewards program there was no acknowledgement of this at check in and although it appeared as though our room was upgraded there was no way to know for sure as nothing was mentioned. We were in room 123 which was spacious but definitely had a lot of wasted space and the window faced the busy motorway which meant any opening of the window for fresh air meant a lot of traffic noise. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was also quite spacious with a large shower. The room was equipped with a mini fridge which was stocked full of soda and some other liqour bottles with a check list to complete and return to reception if anything was used which i found different from most hotels but we didn't use anything so there was nothing to hand in. Breakfast is offered as well which if arranged in advance is apparently somewhat discounted than if you just show up on the morning but we did not eat in the hotel. On site parking is plentiful and free which is a nice feature and the in room WiFi was quick and reliable. Value for money is good here and should I return to Bruges in future, this property will definitely be given consideration

"Short break - very nice hotel ! "

We stayed at the BW premier Weinebrugge on our visit to Bruges, and I think this hotel is perfect for anyone with a car- it was perfect for us as the parking was free, hotel it's really easy to find and it's only 5-10 mins drive from centre of Bruges. Our room was very nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very large with a great shower ! Breakfast was very tasty and good quality. Reception staff was very helpful and friendly ! Many thanks

"Excellent hotel that IS as advertised!"

Arrived rather late on the first of our two night stay, due to traffic delays, but were happy to see the Hotel as described and viewed on websites, we were warmly greeted and checked in. After settling in to our lovely room, which was very spacious and well equipped including ample toiletries, we went for a much needed drink in the small but welcoming bar before retiring for the night. We slept reasonably well eventually however the constant sound of an outside fountain, our room was located above reception area, kept us both awake for some time. Perhaps due to an overheard comment the next morning, the fountain was switched off the following night. Breakfast was enjoyed in a lovely furnished breakfast room and the choice was amazing. From cooked to Continental, all tastes were more than catered for and I liked the option of boiling your egg to your own choice and not just presented with hard boiled! I especially loved the selection of freshly sliced and decoratively presented exotic fruits. Although not noticed until leaving the breakfast room the option for a glass of prosseco was a nice touch - sited by the tea/coffee area for future reference. We decided to leave our vehicle in the hotel car park and take up the option of the hotel's shuttle bus service and were pleasantly surprised to be given taxi service, at shuttle bus service price - our driver was pleasant and amusing. After a full day enjoying Brugge we rounded off our last evening with another couple of drinks in the bar. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel 100% and would definately stay here again. The staff were always pleasant and helpful and don't miss the resident cuddle lover!! Many thanks to Luc and the staff for making our stay a very plesant one, and continue to win the awards you deserve!

Thank you very much for this nice review. I will pass it on to our staff. it will help to continue doing this daily effort in trying to make our guests feel a little bit at home ... I also want to apologize for the fountain. Normally when the night guard arrives he/she should turn it off and it will be activated again in the morning after check out ...

This hotel by far is the best I've stayed in, very posh modern and luxurious. Only paid around £70 but even if I'd paid £150 it would still be good vfm!! The room was very clean and spacious, the air con cooled the room instantly and there were English channels on the tv. Complimentary bottled water which was very nice. The bed was amazing, so soft and comfy and big! The duvet and mattress topper were made of feather and I am now on a mission to find the same for my bed at home! The bathroom was lovely really big and very modern. I could quite happily live in this hotel lol will definitely be returning in the near future!!

"Excellent hotel with free parking"

The hotel is less than 10 mins drive from the centre of Bruge and has a large free car park. We had a large room in the new part of the hotel. The room was well appointed with everything you would need and a fantastic shower. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant in the evening was good but a little pricey. There's a shuttle which goes to the centre of Bruge 4 times per day for 5 euros. You can also buy taxi vouchers from reception for 13 euros for a one way trip. If you are in a car it is just as easy to drive to the centre and park in the train station car park for only 3.50 euros per day.

Weinebrugge, Manager at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Weinebrugge, responded to this review
Thank you for taking the time to respond. It is very important to us to hear what our guests experienced during their stay. Concerning the restaurant : I can assure you that we are not that pricey. You can eat in the restaurant starting at 18 € for a soup and a main dish. maybe it was not well communicated for which I apologize.

Stayed for one night whilst visiting Bruges & Ghent. We booked superior rooms and it was well worth the extra money. We were in the new wing so everything was new and fresh. We had a veranda with table and chairs . The staff were very friendly and obliging. The room was lovely and very spacious. Shower was brilliant and the bed was so comfy I overslept. Breakfast was plentiful with a large selection of good quality food. We ate evening meal in the restaurant although it was quite pricey the food was excellent as was the service. We had such a good time we have booked again in November. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Lovely place for a romantic weekend.

"More than "allright""

Well this was a last minute short break, and the hotel far exceeded our expectations (the photo doesn't do it justice!). Staff were very welcoming on arrival - and the room was enormous, so much storage space, 50inch TV, king size (comfortable) bed and plenty of pillows. The en suite bathroom had a drench shower, more toiletries than boots, tissues, heated towel rail, hairdryer etc. And a patio with table and chairs. Buffet breakfast, was plentiful and an opportunity to sit in the pretty conservatory or the dining room. Staff were working hard to keep the platters fresh and hot for all guests. We did not try the restaurant as we went out to Oostende and Brugges in the evening, but other guests told us how good us was. The bar staff were great when we returned for a night-cap. The vast car-park is a bonus if you have brought your car, but if you prefer you can book the shuttle car to take you to Brugges and even purchase a taxi voucher if you want a flexible return time. This was a very friendly, relaxed hotel where we really felt welcome.

"Fantastic hotel"

Myself, husband and two friends stayed here for two nights recently. We couldn't fault the hotel at all, it was extremely clean, the rooms were spacious and the breakfast was the best I had had. The fruit salad was amazing. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Would live to stay again. while on a

"Exceeded expectations"

I am a great believer in studying Trip Advisor prior to booking hotels and restaurants, and once the spurious, spiteful and picky reviews have been identified and discounted have almost always been very happy with my choice. With the Weinebrugge Best Western my expectations were exceeded. We had one of the standard Comfort Rooms which we found quite spacious and had all the facilities I look for. Very clean, aircon, comfortable beds, tea/coffee making, decent WIFI. There was also a large flat screen tv in the room. Didn't try it, but I noticed there were some BBC and Sky channels available. The bathroom was also quite spacious. Nice Travertine tiling, hair dryer and a wonderfully powerful over bath shower. Again, spotlessly clean. The Staff without exception were extremely pleasant, efficient and unobtrusive but If you needed something someone was there to help. They all spoke excellent English as well. We really enjoyed the meals we had in the hotel. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive enough to satisfy most tastes with cooked and cold options. I am a fussy eater, but I thoroughly enjoyed the lunch and dinners we had here. I noticed a previous reviewer thought meals and drink were expensive in the hotel and I must confess to raising an eyebrow when I saw the prices, but you will pay the same if not more in the town for less quality. The Hotel is in a very attractive setting, but some may think it is too far out of town. If you have a car, it's ten minutes or so and you can park in the Station car park for 3.5 Euros The Hotel offers a limited shuttle bus service into town for 5 Euros, or a cab will cost around 13 to 17 Euros. You choose. In my opinion the distance from town was a small sacrifice to pay for such a comfortable and friendly Hotel. Would we return? Absolutely!!

"Perfect hotel, lovely staff."

Absolutely perfect in every way, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Weinebrugge, it would be impossible to fault this hotel-the food, the bar, the friendliness of staff, the cleanliness, bathroom products (shower gel, shampoo/conditioner etc.) towels/flannels etc Tea, coffee (various) milk, sugar etc. all refreshed every day also a free bottle of water every day-extra pillows in the wardrobe which weren't needed because the pillows on the bed were so good. Extra loo rolls in the wardrobe too. A safe with easy instuctions, that worked!! Beautiful surroundings, nothing too much trouble for the very obliging staff. If we had one very small objection it is that the hotel is too far from the town and taxi's are quite expensive, we would loved to have seen the town by night but to be honest after all the tours, which were completely fascinating, Brugge, Ypres, Ghent, we learned a great deal thanks to Christine and Simone, our guides we were completely exhausted anyway.

"Lovely stay"

We chose this hotel because we were driving and there was ample parking. It was a short drive outside Bruges and very quiet and pleasant. Our room was very large and comfortable and we enjoyed the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast. The park-like setting was beautiful and a great place to recover from jetlag and city driving.
