The clerk was friendly and helpful, but that is where the good ended. The light switch did not work, there was crud on the handle, door, and buttons of the microwave, the sink had a crusty something on it, I had to scrape it off (it looked like fecal matter), there was no drain cap but there was a toothpaste cap laying in the drain, the bathroom was super tiny and had holes in the walls at either end of the tub, there was a thick layer of dust on everything, the heater smelled when I turned it on, and the clock was set incorrectly. If it hadn't been so late, we would have left.

I stayed here 2 weeks ago while travelling because it was the perfect distance to spend the night on my trip. Unfortunately this motel was a loser. Paying in advance for a cheaper price I had no choice but to stay. The two employees I met were nice enough but that was the only thing positive I can say. The hotel grounds were grungy and dirty. Upon entering, the light switch didn't work and I had to find the outlet to plug the lamp in. Desk chair had what looked like construction debris on it. The coffee maker was sitting unplugged by the sink and had no outlet there to plug it in. The bed and shower were okay but the room had a empty broken shelf with a TV on it. Overall it was drab and uninviting. The wi-fi was so bad I used the wi-fi from the Super 8 next door and it was much better! Upon leaving in the morning I opened the door to see trash scattered all over the bad rock landscaping and parking lot. There were broken branches in some parking spaces and the whole hotel grounds were generally gloomy. Walking around to the front to get breakfast wasn't any nicer. There was scattered litter and trash all around the building. The so called breakfast was just plain lousy and the breakfast room was as gloomy and uninviting as the rest of the hotel. Best Western should be ashamed of having their name associated with this place. I write good reviews 99% of the time and am NOT a hotel snob! This place was a big waste of time and money and would not stay here again even if the room was free. Buyer beware! Dive that extra 40 minutes and find a better place to stay.

This hotel was very highly rated and a great price, so we gave it a try. It's not easy to find - it's right next to the Super 8. Check In was almost funny because I had to ask the clerk about everything - she offered no information. Our room had been recently partially renovated - the paint, carpet and tub/shower were new. The furniture was basic, but the bed was comfortable. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy- screeching noises which changed to locomotive sounds after a few minutes; the shampoo, soap and lotion were all different brands and there were no tissues in the room. They did provide an iron, ironing board, and a modern coffee maker. There was no cold water at the sink for brushing teeth, but my husband found that it had been turned off below the sink. The room was very clean. Breakfast was traditional Continental with a waffle machine. They had only regular coffee - no decaf, and it was lukewarm. There was no butter for the waffles and toast, and the yogurt was warm, but they offered two kinds of cereal with nice cold milk, some fresh fruit (apples) and instant oatmeal, along with two kinds of juices.

First thing you need to know is how to find it (and you do want to find it). It is right off the interstate, but is set off behind the road behind a KFC. The office shares a building with a Mexican restaurant. At this price, I just want the basics (and am often disappointed), but this place was great. At Holiday Inn for twice the price, you could get a hot breakfast and higher end shampoo, but I'd rather have continental breakfast and use my huge savings to get Waffle House and name brand conditioner. The rooms themselves were just as good. A lot of cheaper places have old furniture and get remodeled (poorly) by the owners. Sure Stay had new furniture and looked to have been painted and remodel by professionals. There was a big, flat panel TV and a mini fridge with the sticker still on it. When we left, the housekeeper asked if we had a nice stay and if everything was okay. The front desk was also very nice. At breakfast, there was a waffle maker, fruit, cereal, pastries, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, etc. The breakfast nook was also very nice. We will probably make it a point to stop in Brinkley so we can stay here instead of Blytheville.

The hotel is very nice and clean, front desk help was excellent. The beds we're very comfortable. We will be making this our half way stop to Ole Miss in the future. There are 3 restaurants right next to the hotel.
