« Not to Best Western Standard »

Great staff but this hotel needs a complete renovation. Lobby is still under construction, carpets are worn out. Room was dated and very noisy. A/C was so loud we had to turn it off. Bathroom was nasty and the toilet dripped all night. Push/Pull bath plug was unscrewed and on the side of the bath. Shower/batch handle was sharp and came away from wall when pulled to operate the shower. Breakfast was awful. Warm mike for cereals and pre-packaged soggy mc-muffins. Not the usual BW breakfast at all. Booked for two nights and left after the first night. Would have gone the first night had we not arrived late. Amazed that this is a Best Western PLUS. Have stayed in many and they are usually excellent for the price range. This is the worst I have stayed in.

    « Good Location »

We stayed here last week for one night. We arrived close to midnight but were set for a late check in, so we had no problem getting our room. The room was clean, and on the ground floor, we also had outside access to the room after checking in. The breakfast offered near the lobby included waffles, sausage rounds, spiced potatoes and the usual toast, cereal, tea and coffee, English muffins and a few other choices. Very good location just off the highway.

    « Decent hotel - Nothing special »

Decent, clean rooms and OK location. Staff where less then friendly and did nothing to make things easy. Pool was not good and hot tub was a joke. The shower in the pool area was broken in the ON position and cold. The hot tub was full of sand, likely grout from between the tiles. There was kids in there until close screaming, yelling and splashing. There should be no kids allowed after 9pm. The desk staff made check in difficult and basically turned us away. Only stayed here because of the location we needed that night.

    « Best Western Minus »

i always book at Best Westerns if there is what looks like a good one when I travel in the USA, Canada and Mexico but this one was the worst one I have ever stated at in a good 80 plus days staying at BW over the past 25 years. this place has a lot of potential but someone needs to put some money into it and fix it up and train there staff better like the rest of the BW I have stayed at. I rather stay at the Kitchener one which is a great hotel and good service and drive farther.

Walked into a rude, custy man who was not at a all friendly. I called in advance so that my sister and I have our rooms close to each other. We were told the bedroom is close and on the same floor. It was on the opposite side of hotel. The front desk man said well it's on the same floor so you should be happy about that! I also requested a wake up call and asked for late check out. it was supposed to be noted for the next day. Either one was executed. My sister and I went to the pool to see no towels s we had to walk to front desk to retrieve a towel. The pool was only opened to 10:30 on a Sat night. My sister was wakened up at 8:30am by a maid who rudley said you leaving soon? The buffet breakfast on a weekend was 6:30-9:30am???I have never stayed at a hotel where on a weekend it ends at 9:30am. The buffet included boiled eggs/not scrambled, fatty , gritty sausage and beans! The juice was watery, and nothing was being replenished. I wanted a yogurt but was told the buffet is over (it was only 9:35am)I was just ready to leave the room when I got a knock at the door saying time to leave. It was 12:20pm? It was Sunday, no one in the hotel and the maid was busy cleaning other rooms so there was no urgency for 20 min late. Overall experience very disappointing. We felt more like a burden to the staff. Never would I go to that location again.

My family and friends had chose your hotel to book our block of rooms as we had a celebration for my mom's 60th at the legion close by. We could have booked the Holiday Inn but chose the Best Western instead Upon checking in with Ahmad Suhrawaady who was completly rude we had got our room and noticed friends of ours coming in to check in as well (at this time it is 3pm) Our family friend was told upon checking in at 3pm that their room was not cleaned and they would have to wait A few family members came in at 4pm to check in and were told to go have a seat in the breakfast area as their rooms were not ready either as they still needed to be cleaned We hired a band to play at my mom's birthday and when they were given a room the bed were not made???? So finally at 5:15pm I had to leave to go to the hall to decorate and at this time our friends who came at 3pm to check in still had not received their room as it wasn't cleaned yet????? I spoke to Ahmad Suhrawaady about this issue and told him by 5pm this should not happen??? He was completely rude , yelling at me in front of everyone in the lobby..... I will NEVER NEVER come back to your hotel again and I already have plans to notify people on trip advisor as well as your facebook page because the service was Awful!

« economy at its best »

we needed a place to stay near down town that did not charge for parking and that would allow us to leave the nest morning without too much delay in traffic. this hotel was perfect for what we were looking for as we had clean quiet room and were able to leave next morning with only five minute delay in driving out of town

    « Meh... »

When my mother, 11 month old and I came for the night, we were about to leave as soon as we checked in. There were no elevators and there was no way I was going to lift a travel system stroller along with my luggage up a flight of stairs. Management was pretty quick to find someone to assist. *There was a sign posted that elevators will be installed in the near future. Work had begun on October 3rd* Not knowing I wasn't supposed to keep my key card close to my phone, I had to travel downstairs about 3 times with my child (talk about a good workout... didn't even need to use their fitness room) to get it reset. The television kept loosing signal and freezing throughout the night. The pool was great! The little one and I had it all to ourselves. Breakfast was nice... I don't remember seeing any assortment of teas, however I do remember seeing a machine that makes coffee and offers hot water. The waffle machine was my favourite. It should come with more instructions on how to use it though. I had used my common sense to get it to work but I've seen a few people fail at making a good waffle. The night before, a bus load of guests came in which had me worried about the lack of space there will be in the dining area for breakfast but the hotel staff had that sorted out. That big group of people were directed to have their breakfast in another room. Even though alot of hotels' checkout times are 11am, I wished that this one could of been noon. The staff was very friendly and professional. I would come back... providing the elevators are installed and working.

    « 1 week stay. »

Based on first impression I wasn't really impressed by the hotel. Although the bathroom appeared clean, the room was sad and dated. Throughout the week I warmed to the place; the dining and domestic staff were friendly and helpful. Reception staff more selective..and wrongly advised us on when it was best to book an extra few day's. Fortunately for us we had to check out and found something better. Despite 3 attempts and reasons why, the sauna never worked to its potential but the pool was an added extra which made the stay feel more comfortable.

« Good stay and nice friendly Staff »

The Price is very good including free Breakfast Buffet, the Room with Double Queen Beds was perfect for me and my wife and 2 kids ( I recommend this room for family stay ), Big Swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna are good after full day in the city, very easy access to 410 Highway and near to Bramila Shopping Mall.

« Nice stay for a good price »

The hotel location is fine and the price is better than staying in downtown Toronto if you have transportation. The bed was very nice and the room well cleaned. I really have no complaints as I slept well. Used the gym and it has nice a multi station weight lifting machine as well as cardio equipment. They could have kept a few towels in there and the filtered water machine had no cups for two days straight. Did not use the pool, but I did check it out and its quite impressive and clean as well as the hot tub. The free breakfast is pretty average with a diverse juice dispenser.

    « Enjoyable stay.. somewhat »

Let's start with the good, although this hotel is in an industrial area, there is plenty of shopping and restaurants located around it. It is also close to get to the freeway and to downtown Toronto. The hotel itself is nice and could use a little updating. The front desk staff could also be a little more customer service friendly. Specifically the front desk staff. On our second night there, there must have been some type of event, where there were people lobbying outside in the halls with their own chairs sitting drinking and talking loudly until at least midnight. Not sure if the management did anything about it. Our room itself was decent but the bed was quite small we were told by the front desk staff that it was a queen size. It almost felt like a full size. The pool and whirlpool area were very nice. The breakfast had both hot and cold options, but beware, using the toaster will set off the smoke alarms in the breakfast area. The breakfast area is also quite small and gets full pretty fast. INTERNET SUCKS!!! If you plan on utilizing the "FREE" internet in your room, forget it, be ready to use some of your data especially if you are not from Canada. Internet connection is HORRIBLE in your room but great in the common areas of the hotel such as the pool and breakfast areas.. Overall, I would consider visiting this hotel again if ever in the area.

« Ask what floor your room is on! »

Arrived to find our room is on the second floor of a building with no elevator after five long, intense days of work in southern ontario, then driving to the hotel in order to be closer to Pearson for an early morning flight back across the country. We loaded our bags onto the trolley, the man at the counter, after some prodding, was kind enough to aide us in bringing them up the two flights of stairs. There we found 2 old, decrepit trolleys. We chose the one furthest from its death, loaded it up and proceeded down the long, wavy ( that's correct for floor is indeed not flat. It is noticeably, and almost humorously mountainous) hallway. So wavy in fact that it takes 2 people to maneuver the trolley as some rises are so steep one person needs to lift the front end. We arrived, finally, to a very nice room, with no place new the bed to charge your cell phone (unlike every other BW ever?)... doesn't everyone use their phone as an alarm these days? So we went to unplug the alarm clock to plug in one of our phones ... the outlet was lose in the electrical box. No joke. Pulled about 3/8ths of an inch out of the wall with the cord. Nice. So. We spent the night. Like I said, nice room, clean, etc.... But just not a nice hotel. Same man helped us with our bags in the a.m. Not sure what we would have done if the desk staff hadn't have been as cooperative? Usually I'm 100% Best Western.. but I'd say steer clear of this one, sorry.

    « Toronto business trip »

Good hotel, reasonable price, free parking and breakfast, good location, just remember that 407 is a toll highway, furnishings a bit old looking but generally quite a comfortable stay..staff friendly..

    « great friendly staff »

My son and I stayed at the Best Western and had nothing but great service. The hotel was very modern looking and very, very clean. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and even checked out the pool and hot tub. I highly recommend this hotel

    « Good locaton »

Comfortable room! Pillow top mattress! Breakfast was very good with a hot breakfast and ample on hand.. Easy to find. Excellent value, good clean room. I would definitely stay here again. I would certainly recommend this property to any traveler.

    « Ok hotel »

We arrived late, the gentleman at the desk was business but barely crack a smile,it set the mood that is all..... Our bedroom was clean ,the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was ok nothing to rave. When we left my wife brought the key at the front desk and the lady was questioning why her and not me, answer " He is my husband" hello was is wrong with this picture......

« Comfy hotel but crappy Internet. »

It's a nice and comfy hotel near Toronto, where we went to visit during the bulk of our stay. We also visited a bit of Brampton. I wasn't impressed with the hotel wi-fi Internet. This is the key in their publicized and marketed wording "internet available where available," or something like that. It's been a few weeks since I've stayed there but that wording proved their point that their internet remained to be seen. I prefer to stay in a hotel with reliable internet. If you aren't bothered about wi-fi connection, this is a decent place to stay. It was clean and handy location.

    « Dated and dingy »

Used to be a nice basic hotel. Now the building and rooms are getting quite dated and showing their age. Lots of wear, poor repairs and more than a little run down. A disappointment compared to other Best Western hotels we have stayed in.

    « Nice little hotel »

The hotel was in a good location. It was a 15 minute drive to Pearson airport, and the GPS made restaurants, the cinema, and the mall 7 minutes away. The room was a decent size and was clean. The breakfast buffet had a few good options. I loved the little waffle station. I've never made a waffle for myself so it was a nice little experience. The hotel has a pool and business center but I did not used them. The hotel has free Wifi for its guests. The team at reception were kind and helpful. If you have your own car, try to book a room on the ground floor with access to the parking area. This was you could park in front of your room. The hotel is wheelchair accessible.

    « Another good stay »

Not our 1st time here. Very comfortable hotel close to shopping and restaurants. Convenient for Toronto Airport Beds are great and the linens and towels are good. Buffet breakfast offers a satisfactory selection of hot and cold items.

« Great Hotel with ample of Parking »

I stayed here with my family during labor day weekend. They had good continental breakfast. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The only thing not good was they didnt had keys for the other doors of the rooms.

    « Best Western Brampton »

The stay was excellent. A spacious room, comfortable bed and a pool to boot for the rest of the family. We had a great stay while visiting family in the area. It was close to where we needed to go and there was plenty of parking.

    « Not the greatest »

We wound up staying there as a last minute resort, the hallways stink of cigarettes and look extremely worn out. The doors are chipping and there was hair in the bathtub. We called around 2 am and asked for water (there was nothing in the room) and were told our only option was to walk back down to the reception and use the vending machine. Not the mention the part of the lot where our car was was closed off in the morning so we couldn't get our car out of the lot.

    « Thieves »

We just stayed there last night and two hrs after leaving the hotel and realizing that I had left my expensive shampoo and conditioner, we called and tried to return to retrieve the forgotten product only to be told they didn't have it and no we couldn't go in and look ourselves. That's $200.00 of product that they have now stolen. Brutal and will be writing corporate about this too.

    « Good value hotel »

Convenient location, with No Frills right across from the hotel, and McDonald's, Subway, Red Lobster, etc. just a block away. Great customer service, from front desk to housekeeping staff. We stayed for 6 nights in a standard room with two queen beds. Room was clean and of decent size, everything in working order. Breakfast included, but not much variety in terms of items offered. Has waffle machine, yet no cream, syrup or fruit for topping - only cream cheese and butter. No yogurt either. Breakfast closes at 9:00am on weekdays and 9:30am on weekends, which we thought was a little too early. The staff actually start cleaning up and taking away the food at 9:00am, It would be better if they can go until 9:30am on weekdays and 10:00am on weekends. After all, most people would like to sleep in a bit when they are on vacation!

« Not a good vibes even before check inn »

Calling time 5:50am Toronto time Calling from Newfoundland Night duty guy on front desk was Annu . I think he had a rough night , anyway I would accept better response from him as I know best western little bit with around 50 thousand rewards points under my belt and being platinum member Anyway I always had high expectations with best western and never had any problems. Let's c how it goes , gona come with detailed review at the end of trip

« was ok room area »

nothing to say thanks room was old looking need to up grade and newer stuff and walls need to be redone and all other stuff need a really good upgrade and this hotel does not reach the standards of Best Western thanks

    « excellent »

We stayed there March break with my whole family. very clean and staff were very polite . breakfast was very good . defiantly planning to stay there again . it was convenient other locations . looking forward for good deal .

« Some TLC would go a long way »

Agree with most reviews. Great location - walking to No Frills, Bulk Barn, Burger King, Subway, McDonald's and close to major highways. Some minor touch ups have been done but it needs a serious investment in fixing up and updating (grout dirty, wallpaper falling off, no elevator, etc). It has all the makings of a great hotel (layout, good size pool, nice patio and courtyard areas, convenient location) but in its current state hard to see it as a Best Western "Plus." The breakfast is poorly set up, you have to cut through people to throw our your garbage, not enough seating - just another table for drinks and garbage even could really help.

    « Stay in Brampton »

Very nice hotel and rooms. The beds were very comfortable. A good breakfast with lots to choose from. Staff was helpful and friendly. Convenient location when visiting Toronto and attractions and well located right off the expressway.

« Good value for the money »

I stayed at this Best Western Plus hotel in Brampton for two nights with my 8yo son at the start of August 2016. We went to Canada Wonderland and Marineland. The breakfast was included, which was a plus. Starting price per night was $144 but they advertised on their website a discount with CAA membership and the price was $125/night. Room was quiet and bed comfortable. It did not have any wow factor look, but functional. Fridge worked perfectly, same with the coffee maker and hair dryer. The shower had a very nice water pressure. The toilet though needed flushing more times. The air condition worked continuously in the room ? I did look to stop it, as at times, personally, I found it a bit loud ? but would not turn off. The fan in the bathroom took the prize for loudness but otherwise was working perfectly fine. The breakfast lounge seemed a bit small but in fact was nicely designed and practical. The breakfast had a limited selection but good and nicely presented. The staff was very helpful and replenished everything right away even before they were finished. And I need to mention that also the staff at the reception was very nice, friendly and willing to help the guests. Overall I and my son were very happy with the hotel and we would go back to it.

    « Vacation visit »

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our visit to Toronto. They have an excellent, friendly staff, comfortable beds/hide-a-bed, beautiful pool, and delicious hot breakfasts every morning. We will definitely stay here again!

    « HORRIBLE »

To start with, as soon as we saw the supervisor to check in, we could tell it's not gonna be fun. He was the most rude PERSON we have ever met ( forget about him being a hospitality institute supervisor). When confronted, his response to why he is being rude was that " PEOPLE ARE RUDE IN NORTHERN AMERICAS". We had 2 nights stay at this hotel. We mentioned it to him that we were going to cancel the next day's stay to which his response was" You don't have any other option". Well at last, we reached our room that was on 2nd floor. Oh wait, Did I mention, THE HOTEL HAS NO ELEVATOR !!!! Upon calling the room service to get some towels, the response we got was " All of the housekeeping staff has gone home, come downstairs and get it"!! The supervisor made sure that our stay was as horrendous as possible and we never ever stay at a Best Western again. It was a TORTURE. So we cancelled our next day stay and booked ourselves a different hotel even though we had to pay a lot more.

« Part of Niagara trip with Sinorama »

For the price it is ok... Stayed for only one night,it was ok... The AC would not turn off ..smells a bit...a bit old...but again price quality wise it is good especially for a quick lay over. Close to a supermarket and to restaurants makes it perfect also

    « Good Value »

We spent a pleasant two nights at this hotel. Great for business trips - breakfast is included and starts at 6:00 am so you can get an early start. Rooms are comfortable, although I would have liked a microwave in addition to the coffee maker and fridge, which came in very handy. Would definitely recommend!

« Wonderland package deal is excellent; otherwise, below expectations »

[OVERALL] Overall, my experience of the hotel met my expectations for price paid, but only because we took advantage of the Canada's Wonderland Package. The Canada's Wonderland Package offers an amazing deal but, based on the regular price of the room, I would have expected more from this hotel. It would have met my expectations for a regular Best Western, but outside of the package deal, it was below my expectations for a Best Western PLUS. [LOCATION] The hotel is within short driving distance and, in many cases, easy walking distance of several restaurants and shopping centres. [CLEANLINESS] The room was acceptably clean, but could use a little more attention. The key areas had certainly been cleaned, but dirt and grime had collected in corners in the washroom. The rooms should get an extra cleaning at least once a month to focus on these areas. Also, many hotels have moved to having a duvet with washable covers, as opposed to the comforter that was on the bed -- doing so would raise my esteem of the hotel. Whatever cleaning solution was used -- or perhaps it is something used to wash the sheets -- left a very strong chemical smell in the room that greeted us every time we walked in. It was slightly off-putting and I recommended moving to a less abrasive, scent-free cleaning solution. The pool area cleanliness left a little to be desired. On immediate inspection, the deck appeared clean, but we stayed 2 nights and, on Day 1, there was a small bit of what appeared to be some kind of fruit peel (nectarine maybe?) or something that had dropped on the deck; it was still there on Day 3. It's something a once or twice daily mopping would have taken care of. [AMENITIES] The breakfast was fairly extensive with options of fresh fruit, waffles, breads/pastries, eggs, sausage, coffee, a variety of juices, cold cereal, hot cereal, etc. Some people have complained on here about the quality of the breakfast. It's true that the eggs and sausage were not especially delicious, but I don't think it was any worse than what you would get in a McDonald's breakfast sandwich. The breakfast area isn't really large enough to accommodate the number of guests the hotel can accommodate. There were many people staying in the hotel and breakfast both mornings of our stay was pure bedlam. There isn't really much the owners can do about it -- they've used the space available well -- but it's worth noting as it does impact the quality of the experience. If staying here, I'd recommend going to breakfast as early as possible. During the week (when we stayed), the breakfast runs from 6am to 9am. I realize that this is meant to accommodate business travelers, but sometimes there are people on vacation who might not want to eat quite that early. Extending the breakfast to 10am would be recommended and might help reduce some of the congestion. There were free ice machines and water coolers on site, as well as (pay) vending machines. The pool area has a sauna and hot tub. The bubbles in the hot tub didn't really work while we there. The WiFi worked but one thing that was annoying was that they changed the WiFi password on the second day of our stay. They didn't tell us they would be doing this when we checked in so I had to call down to ask for the new WiFi password. This wouldn't have been too much of an issue except that the person at the front desk seemed annoyed by my calling down to ask -- as if I should just have known the new password. [SERVICE] The front desk service could be a little more welcoming. They were available and helpful with requests and good with follow-up, but every time I went to the front desk, I felt like I was interrupting or disturbing them. As noted above, I had to call to ask the new WiFi password and he seemed annoyed and, when I thanked him, he just hung up the phone without saying anything -- no "you're welcome" or "goodbye."

« Maybe used to be 3 Stars? »

Pros: Good comfortable beds, clean rooms, hot showers, nice location (across from No Frills grocery), pool is decent for kids, hot tub, fridge in room. Lots of free parking. Cons: Breakfast was sub-standard, yeah there are eggs and sausage, but look and taste old and rubbery, coffee from restaurant, tasted like some nasty chemicals leaked in it, restaurant was a zoo, only used 1 of three days. Mold growing on bathroom ceiling, bathroom fan super loud, like a Diesel engine was running it. Pool area was dark in some spots, sauna not working. Walls are very thin, cowboys next door kept us awake late and up early. Overall: A hotel/motel with potential but in need of serious investment and care.

« do not stay here »

not clean , disrespectful staff.. the place is in total disarray.. when checking in had a hard time to get the person to check me in , he was more involved in eating and slurping his soup than to check me in.. hotel staff in track pants .. not a good over all presentation

    « Best Western Minus »

I have come to expect high quality from Best Western and in particular Best Western Plus hotels. So imagine my disappointment when I arrived to find a dirty, stale smelling hotel room; a broken foot stool with red marker drawing on it. Must say the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Still I would call this a Best Western Minus.

    « Restaurant »

Over 60 minute line-up for breakfast due to 150 guests from 3 tour busses eating at the same time....had to eat out even though breakfast was in room price. Next day breakfast the bread contained worms ....many complaints

    « Great Room »

Spent a Saturday night here. We had a huge 2 queen bed room. It had a great large TV, great bathroom with no visible mold (nice change from other hotels) and mini fridge. They provide a complimentary breakfast with hard boil eggs, sausages, baked beans, cereals, waffles, breads, bagels and juices, cafe. Hotel also provides free wifi and has a pool and hot tub but we did not use those. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing with this hotel is they do not have an elevator for rooms on the second floor. So if stairs is a problem, then a room on first floor needs to be requested.

    « Not for business »

Very poor Internet connection. Smelly room (old cigarette smoke), noisy. I will not return there. I have informed the manager about the Internet connection problem (I need it for work) and I felt I was the problem.

    « Not accessible »

Disappointed to find out that the building is non accessible no elevators, this not evident when booking via the internet, nor was it shared at time of check in. No help was available to take luggage up the stair flight, as the desk person stated she was the only staff available, although housekeeping staff are in the hallways. Having a double hip replacement, and chronic pain, I had to carry my own luggage, which was a challenge, I was very disappointed in the customer service. How would they have dealt with a wheelchair or walker, as it was I had just left my reumatologist office after receiving injections today. I was not having a good day. Room appears clean , although I have noticed the lamp shade is very soiled and in need of replacement. I will not book here again.

« Worst Customer Service EVER!!! »

Stayed on June 3rd and hotel had NO cable TV due to some power outage they claim to have which was not true...conveniently the movie rental was on for you to spend money. No TV for 24hrs...very ridiculous and manager was not around to even offer discounts for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this hotel at all as the staff are horrible and do not have any customer service experience. p.s. I have even contacted Rogers to see if it was true and was told the outage was resolved in few basically this was a ruse.

    « 3 Nights »

Stayed here April 12-15 Room was nice and clean. Stayed in 226. It was right off the stairs. So that was a bonus. You have to check out Sonny's at Kennedy/Queen. Awesome burger and fries. Get the double Banquet Burger. It was hard to eat it all Located within walking distance to the mall as well. Lots of fast food restaurants within walking distance. Would stay here again... next time i'm in Brampton for sure.

« Good location, bad service. »

This hotel is in a great location, close to the Hwy, restaurants and mall. The wifi is very poor, and the rooms have a displeasing smell. the supervisor is very rude. Check out is at 11 and they start busting in your room at 930. After 2 days without wifi they finally gave me a new room. The hot water burned my daughter becaus the knob for pipe in the showe was reversed, cold in hot and hot on cold. After telling the manger on duty he was very rude and was shouting at me he later hung up the phone.

« Two thumbs up for the stay at the Best Western PLUS in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. »

Two thumbs up for the stay at the Best Western PLUS in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. A short drive to the airport. A nice indoor pool with a delicious breakfast buffet in the morning. I would stay here again, and I highly recommend the hotel to others. Also the staff were very good.

« Worst Hotel Stay By Far »

I booked this hotel for 2 nights and nightmare started when I went to check in. The FD Manager checked me in and he was not personable at all and rude. I was checked in on the 2nd floor and about a 10 minute walk from the front desk and when I asked the FD Manager if there was an elevator he looked at me and said no...he didn't offer to help me or get someone to help me. The room was dirty, water stains on the ceiling, fridge didn't work and something in the fridge smelled rotten. There are no ice machines on the 2nd floor, only on the 1st floor by the lobby. The breakfast included was stale and milk was warm as it sat out in room temperature on the counter. Will never stay at this hotel again or a Best Western.

    « Checked out early »

We stayed in this hotel while attending a sports tournament with my kids. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodated my request to check out a day early. The housekeeping staff were nice as well. The hotel is run down and our guest room was not in good shape at all. Bedding was old and bedspreads were in bad shape. The Guest room carpet was very dirty and curtains smelled bad. The worst part was the complimentary breakfast. No fresh fruit or yogurt, muffins were stale and hard and juices were watered down. For the price we paid the quality of the food and accommodations should be much better.

« Not the best, but not the worst »

Nice hotel, a little on the older side. Service at the front counter was excellent, always someone there and pleasant. I liked being on the first floor with an outside door to the parking (+). The condition of the room when walking in was a little disappointing. Half the towels I usually see in rooms (I didn't say anything and there was actually normal amount of towels after house keeping the next morning ). The recycle box was full of garbage in the closet (they emptied next morning as I left the closet curtain open). Breakfast was very average, nothing special about it. Over all was OK. Better than many I've been at, but far from the best too.

    « Disappointing »

Comfortable beds are the only positive thing I can say about this stay. Because of limited mobility, I requested a room closest to the enterance. The clerk said it was three rooms from the lobby. It was at the end of a hall that was a series of slopes. The lobby was dirty as were the hallways. The attitude of the clerk was that of indifference. There was only one other vehicle in the parking lot when we arrived however the front desk clerk said the room could not be changed to one that was more accomodating. The overall experience was very disappointing.

    « Comfortable but Disappointing »

I liked the room and it served all my needs. Good layout. Great bed. Clean except if I can touch the ceiling in the bathroom then you can wipe the dirty spots off. The sink fixture makes one go right for hot and left for cold which is unusual and confusing. The overall stay was fine but there is something to be said about loyalty, and this is not my favourite spot because I was not treated like the very good customer that I am.

« Not what I expected for the price »

Check in was quick and painless as I had used Expedia. The room was pretty run down and the hallway floors are very uneven and go up and down like a fun house. Bathroom needs to be upgraded, walls very thin I heard the person across the hall tell her husband she was going to the washroom then heard her using the washroom. Beds comfortable but headboards dusty as you can see in my photo. Random gross piece of dried toilet paper stuck to the outside of the bathtub on our arrival so that's always nice. Kids had fun in the pool and the continental breakfast was ok, toaster and waffle maker broken. Reminded me more of a Motel 6 price than a Best Western PLUS price.

« A Week at the Brampton Best Western Plus »

Staff very friendly and accomodating. Sofa bed certainly needs to be replaced, was extremely uncomfortable. We arrived on a Sunday therefore grace was given for the uncleanliness of the hotel after a weekend. Pool area and entrance ways were in need of immediate attention (hair in pool and dirty). Overall, value for the money was good, hot breakfast daily, pool and fitness room, discounts for extended stay which were not offered at other hotels. If looking for all ammenities at a value, this is a good deal.

    « Very good »

Check in and out was hassle free . The room was nice . The bed was comfortable . The breakfast was excellent . Lots of things to choose from . Lots of nice fresh fruits and they even had baked beans which we had never seen available in other hotels . Very nice touch and they were good . Nice to see hotel offering healthy options for breakfast .

    « love the room »

very good hotel very comfortable love sleeping as the bed and pillows i just fell in love with would ask all to visit first hand only one thing i did not like people drinking in the stairway was very loud but it did die down around 1am no fighting just drinking party time but loved the room every part will be going again next year and booking same room

« Good location and good quality of room »

Everything is pretty good; but two small problems: the room climate control was noisy and the told us we would have a different room - but nothing happened. The noise was not so bad. Breakfast on Sunday was overcrowded and it could have been improved if staff had asked clients who had finished to move on. Again, not much of a problem.

    « Improve your service »

Hotel appearance from the internet looks a lot better than reality. Also, hotel staff should learn to treat clients better. Please consider the comments I already made and improve your service. A word is enough for the wise.

« The Best Western PLUS in Brampton, Ontario, Canada is a Great hotel to stay at! »

The Best Western PLUS in Brampton, Ontario, Canada is a great hotel to stay at. The hotel has an indoor pool that is a lot of fun, and after a nice swim you can really have a great sleep. In the morning the hotel serves a huge breakfast buffet that gives one a lot of energy for the next day. Close to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel.

    « Just OK »

Very dodgy area, conveniently located near the highway but I wouldn't walk around the neighborhood. The staff, with the exception of the housekeeper, were incredibly rude and not helpful. The hotel has a decent breakfast, nice pool (towels must be che ked out and then returned wet to the front desk, weird.) and small fitness room. The rooms were average best western, not sure why this hotel is a plus. It would have been a decent stay if the manager and staff would invest in some customer service training. If you can get an amazing rate I'd say this hotel is worth it.....but definitely not a plus and definitely not worth full price.

    « Comfortable Nights Sleep »

Contrary to the negative reviews, this Hotel/Motel was an excellent find. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, the pool and hot tub were awesome. The only thing wrong was that there was no bacon for the American style breakfast. This place is near everything you need in a hurry, Restaurants, grocery store, malls. It's all nearby. If your going to Toronto and don't want to spend an arm and a leg downtown, or your staying in the North end, this is an excellent alternative. We will definitely be back

    « One night stay »

Stayed for one night. Very nice, relaxing stay. Beds very comfortable. Gym, pool, sauna, and jet hot tub was decent. Lots of options for dining in the area. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. I would definitely stay here again. Very close to highway. Nothing negative to say about this place.

« Clean and handy to everything »

Spent 2 nights here attending a funeral. This seems to be an older property that has been updated. Nice king size bed, generous flat screen, fridge, rain shower shower head and (really important) old style window mounted heating and a/c but driven by new wall mounted thermostat system - very quiet and very accurate. The one negative is that the walls seem to be paper thin and even minor noises from the hall can be heard and are irksome. Breakfast changed from day 1 to day 2 (appreciated) and variety was reasonable. Coffee very good. Front desk attentive and helpful. Did not use the pool but walked by the door to it and the chlorine smell was quite strong.

« Never Ever I stay in this dirty place »

I will never do this mistake again. Booked this hotel through priceline. They gave a nice deal through the bid. We got a cow shed type room which smells bad. The guy at front desk was nice. But the girl who was there during my check out tried to teach me how to live in a hotel and she got my 'nice response' which was enough for her to close her dirty noise. This hotel will spoil the reputation of Best Western standard. I stayed in many of the Best Western properties, but never seen such a dirty place. They said the room I got was based on Pricelines cheap deal. I dont understand what they mean by that. Anyways, dont get into trap by seeing some beautiful pictures. Those are not real.

« Good hotel in Brampton »

This hotel has normal facilities but everything is OK. Bathroom is very good, with bathtub, bed is comfortable and TV is high size screen. I guess 42 ''. Breakfast is really normal but everyday is same, just change eggs style.

« We regret staying here »

Because of this hotel, I will not stay with Best Western again. - When we arrived, they didn't have the room available that we reserved. - The carpet in our room was damp and dingy. - On the first night, we noticed a medium-sized centipede crawling around on the ceiling. I found tiny insects in the bathroom the next day. We didn't feel comfortable staying there for any more nights so we checked out early and ended up forfeiting the fees we paid for the next 3 nights. - We had a difficult time meeting with the manager, who was unhelpful and unwilling to accept any responsibility when we finally were able to talk with him. In fact, even thought we were asked to meet him at a certain time, he told the front desk staff to send us away because he was busy. I found the managers in this location to be very rude. I would avoid staying here, but they do offer rooms at a special rate if you only need it for a few hours - if you're into that sort of thing...

    « very dissapointing »

This was a Best Western PLUS. I felt ripped off. The room was more money for less. The room looked aged. The bedspread was ripped.Lamp shade on lamp not right & slanted. The other lamp had a dead bulb in it. I found the room dark.No tea!Bathroom fan noisy. Ashtray outside over flowing!!!!! Pillows smaller. Nice breakfast area. But I was there for the room.

    « okay »

we stayed here family of 5 mom and 4 kids for a sporting event price was okay very out dated smell was horrible very old this place needs major updating on a good note the social areas where good upated breakfast was good kids where happy and the pool was great look for discounted prices for this hotel dont pay full price

« Nice stay for family on New years »

We booked the hotel 2 weeks in advance and were worried since it was New years eve, but it ended up being quite nice. The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. Beds were very comfy. We also took advantage of the free breakfast buffet in the morning.

    « Business Room vs 2 Bed Non-Smoking »

Stayed their at the beginning of our trip and at the end of trip while traveling from the west coast to the east coast, the first room we had was a little outdated (business class) looks to had some water damage at one point but room was clear, the second room was clean, bed was comfortable! Would stay their again if travelling through. Enjoyed having access doors to the parking lot.

    « Spacious and Comfortable »

I stayed in a delightful king junior suite that I could easily have an extended stay and not be lacking anything. Enough room to entertain guests if required. Bright bathroom with decent towels and great hot water and water pressure. The bed was amazingly comfortable Friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.

« My recent stay in Brampton »

Highly recommend this motel for anybody staying in the Brampton area... easy access from major roadways and nearby restaurants... friendly and helpful staff and very nice clean comfortable rooms... large flat screen TV's and dependable high speed internet... also a breakfast area just off the main lobby

    « Friendly staff »

The woman at the front desk was very helpful and went out of her way to help me with a special request. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We were right beside the front lobby, but I actually found that I didn't hear too much traffic. The hotel is in a good location, many restaurant food options in the area, and not far from shopping malls. I liked the pool area and enjoyed a nice swim before bed. checkout was fast and simple.

    « Very good ... a few minor irritations »

Over all very good. A popular hotel in a good location, clean, decent breakfast and good value. Small irritations: toilet continued to run until you shook the handle, the internet access was a bit tricky (but worked) and the pass cards needed to be reset a couple of times. All very minor, otherwise, a good experience (I have used this hotel many times).

    « Excellent value »

Room comfort was excellent and the location was near shopping and major highways. The check-in needs to be improved. When I asked where should I park in relation to our room, I was told "over there". I parked and entered the building at the nearest door which was as far from our room as possible. Using a map of the property, the clerk should have shown where I should park and where the other facilities of the hotel are located; i.e. pool, ice machine, etc.

« Best Western PLUS in Brampton, Ontario, Canada is a Great Hotel. »

The Best Western PLUS in Brampton, Ontario, Canada is a great hotel. The service, and the comfort of the room was very relaxing. I found myself sound asleep in the comfortable bed in my room. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I saw a very nice pool available to the guests. I would highly recommend this hotel.

« Not a bad place to stay »

Didn't have a reservation when I arrived at midnight after long flight and the front desk clerk was able to get a CAA rate for 87.00 a night. Room was very nice, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was very clean and lots of pressure.Breakfast had a good selection and was changed different each day. Fresh fruit available as well. A few small things to note, no pen or paper, i had to run to desk to get pen and paper. Theres a sign that that says to hang towels on rack in the bathroom so they can save on water, i did that but they were replaced in the afternoon. I asked the front desk for info on how to get to the airport and the clerk in the evening said $30.00 flat rate special deal set up by hotel. The driver was there at 730 am and the meter ran and by the time i arrived at the airport the cost was $42.50. I asked the driver about this and he said there was no flat rate. I paid the driver and gave no tip, I was disappointed with the extra costs involved.

    « Nice Hotel »

Good value for the price. Need improvement on breakfast. But staff are very nice and helpful. We had a $20 certificate & staff went out of way to make sure we get the credit for $20. Location is right off the 410 so it's very convenient. Plus grocery store next to hotel and restaurants.

« Quality Establishment, Shady Neighborhood- Nice Bathrooms, Breakfast Lobby, and Beds »

If you have ever stayed in a BW before this particular location will not fail to meet your expectations. The beds were fairly comfortable, the breakfast lobby really impressed me with lots of power outlets and a nice overall look. Plenty of parking spaces, a small work out room and pool (if this interests you) are also amenities that this hotel offers. I would recommend this location to any travelers; this is maybe not the location for families just because of its location. There were some loud kids in the hotel during my stay; however, it was Halloween weekend during my stay.

« Not worth More Than 70 per night »

Main staff very nice and helpful. Front desk supervisor very rude and has no control of hotel. Many kids running up and down halls and this guy just yells at everyone he sees and doesnt know his own hotel policies. Breakfast buffet was just o.k. Just a glamorized continental. Should not be a plus hotel. Rooms and beds are updated but bathrooms are not. Kids loved color changing pool. Walls are very thin and not sound proof at all. Would not stay here again and would not reccommend it eithet. Better hotel is courtyard marriot or days inn down the street. Courtyard if you have kids. GRADE: C-

« Nice stay for Business »

The Best Western Plus, Brampton was a good place to stay. I was away for business, only stayed one night, but it was a comfortable stay, and nice to have breakfast available. Close to restaurants and highways.

    « It's good for budget »

Compare to every other hotel this hotel is always price convenient to any other hotel in Brampton! It is nice and clean room. its my 5 stay in this place! The breakfast buffet is really good! Love the swimming pool! Staff members are nice and friendly

    « Nothing Special »

I am going to make this review short and sweet. If you want to economize then this hotel is a good stay. To their benefit, the beds were comfortable and they provide you with an array of different softness of pillows to choose from. The breakfast was OK - standard Best Western fare. On the negative side, this hotel is definately NOT SOUND PROOF. The walls are like PAPER THIN. Slamming and banging doors at 7:00 am. I definately did not need an alarm clock! The bathrooms in the rooms are very dated. Rusty plug, dirty tub bottom, this hotel in badly in need of an overhaul. Straight out of the 80's. All I can say is....MEH!!!!

« Good Place to stay »

Ever one I talked to gave us grate service and our friends who were with us enjoyed your Hotel also and their room was excellent . We stayed two nights and I think this our fifty time to stay in the last 12 month

« Enjoy the parking and Sears outlet accross the street »

I like this hotel, its clean and I like the idea where I can access my vehicle from the lobby or from my back entrance of the room. Free parking, free internet, and free breakfast. Quick access to highway and many local businesses.

    « never again »

If you want a very bad stay then this is the place for you, other wise stay any place else. The service is bad and some of the staff just don't care. We got there at 5pm and the room was not ready. There was never any ice in the machine and the hotel book said ice machine on every floor and there is not. As I said not say here

    « travel to Toronto »

Relatively good staff and friendly, ready to assist. Room is adequate for one or couple , used a King executive room . Clean and tidy. Staff quick to attend to change linen when requested. Not the best of locations. You may need to catch a bus or taxi to the nearest shops or bus station or train station. Otherwise you may need to hire a car to travel around. Some fast food places are at easy walking distance during summer. Breakfast is typical fare almost the same daily and closes at 9am during the week. You can not sleep in if you wish to have breakfast unless you are a business traveller. In general its an ok place with good friendly staff.

« Good place to stay, decent price for area »

Hotels not bad, its kind of a weird spot, but its off the highway and convenient to other areas (Moxies and Keg within 5 min) - Breakfast options were lacking, waffles, or cold cereal, and those were 3 options, some form of cheerios, corn flakes, and raisin bran.

« Basic in every sense »

Not sure how this BWP hotel is an upgrade from a more basic BW. Or I should say I'm not sure how a hotel can get more basic. Rooms were clean and the bed fairly comfortable. Bathroom was extremely basic with some issues of slow drains. Brkfst is the low end hot brkfst typical of basic hotels, even a tad lower.

« Ideal location, clean and well kept. »

Right beside Hwy 410 north of the 407 it is convenient to family in Brampton and Mississauga, and gives good access to all that Toronto has to offer. Rooms are clean and well kept. Maid service is very good. Breakfast is ample, with many options for all diet needs. Reasonable prices, will stay there again.

    « Just OK »

We stayed three nights and found it to be just OK. The staff was great and were helpful with tourist info. The lobby and breakfast area were well kept. The hallway carpets were dirty and musty smelling. The room also had a musty smell to it. Due to traffic, downtown is about an hours drive but the hotel was priced lower than the closer hotels.

« Does not quite earn the PLUS in the name »

First, I only paid $45 US using Priceline so I may not have the right to complain too much. PRO: comfy bed with 4 pillows (I actually sleep with 4), free breakfast in a big area, nice HDTV, good water pressure and plenty of hot water, free parking/internet. CON: replace the white drapes in Rm 219, no remote (I did get one later), thin towels, muggy in the room (but I did shower with bathroom door open) and nowdays a hotel lamp should have plugs or usb ports built into them (dated furniture and lamps and one lamp had a bulb out and housekeeping was done so it could not be replace-sure it was my now). If you are only look for a comfy bed, hot water for your shower and a nice TV, then you can not go wrong with this BW property.
