    « Wonderful! »

Just spent 8 nights here- perfect oasis away from the main beach but easy to walk to everything- bars , restaurants and markets. And of course the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful always smiling. The resort is a little dated but kept very clean and the pool and gardens were immaculate! The buffet breakfast was pretty ordinary but plenty of it and catered to everyone. Had a couple of snacks and drinks by the pool (delicious) but never tried the restaurant for dinner- sunset at the beach was too hard to resist! All in all I think this is one of the best places to stay for it's location and convenience and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

« Very good place to stay! »

This is located only 3 min walk from the beachwalk. The staff is very friendly, and it's nice and clean! The only thing I can put my finger on is that there's not much variation at the breakfastbuffe. But it was OK breakfast, all in all a place we would stay at again.

« The resort to be in Boracay! »

My fiancee and I stayed at the BW Boracay Tropics last Nov 3-8, 2016 and had the most amazing time. Our reservation with them went smoothly and everyone at their head office were helpful and courteous. We dealt with Melanie who made all our arrangements perfect. She answered all our email queries in a timely manner and I could see during our conversations that she went beyond just to meet our expectations at the same time ensuring liaisons with other people to make our requests happen. The resort experience was also amazing. The check in and check out were promt. We liked the welcome juice given and the lace. The vicinity was well maintained. The pool was inviting. The breakfast was wonderful and all the staff were friendly. Bhel who works at the desk made sure we got everything we needed each day with her constant guest relations. She was genuine with her service and we really appreciated her efforts. It was a location not in the front beach of Boracay but situated just perfectly where we had a good night rest and moonlight conversations as it was very serene. At the same time, close enough to the beach and the happenings whenever we wanted to spend the time out swimming and just anything Boracay could offer. This is truly a remarkable resort and we cant wait to comeback again.. Thank you to Melanie & Bhel & all the rest of the staff.

« Chillin with the villains »

Me and my friends had a giod time staying in Boracay Tropics. The housekeepers were nice, and the front office staff could use a little more smile. But in all fairness, check in was fast. Had the room good for 6people. It had 2 solo beds (one with a bed frame the other just in the floor) and 2 double deck beds. It was a playful looking room. We had to fight who would sleep in the double deck beds coz it was pretty cool. The pool is clean. Plus, i liked the food they served. Everything was hot and freshly made (for me that is).

    « Outstanding Ressort »

Last December 2015 I took my entire family to one of the most visited beach in the Philippines - Boracay Island. Bringing the entire clan posed some challenges in scouting an ideal place to stay in. A place that is child friendly, clean, well maintained, technology connected and offers reasonable price - Took me a while to settle for a hotel that meets all of my requirements until I came across Best Western Boracay Tropics. The resort caters to various guests, from couples, friends and even to a large family. Their room selections gives you the ability to have a worry free vacation. We booked two Premier suites that has small kitchen and has 2 bedrooms. The rooms are very well maintained, modern and has good privacy. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staffs and made us feel that we are VIPs. Even though the hotel is situated 5 mins walk from the beach - we still felt that it is convenient and ideally located for vacationers who are looking to relax as well enjoy what then Island can offer. Overall, our stay was pleasant and walked away with a feeling that I had good value for what I paid for.

« My Kids Loves and enjoyed our stay »

My kids not just enjoyed the beach and pool but definitely the hotel itself. Great service. Friendly and accommodating staffs. Clean hotel. Cozy. Peaceful. Definitely will come back next year. Kudos to the management and to all the staff. And thank u for the VIP treatment ?????? and special thanks to the friendly and accommodating staffs in Manila office namely Grace and Melanie Lim. Thanks so much ??

    « A little bit of paradise »

For us, this was the perfect location. Boracay Tropics Resort is roughly five minutes walk from the sea and the long white beach with the numerous bars and the hustle and bustle. There are other hotels which are more modern and sleeker but the Tropics had a cosier, friendlier feel surrounded by greenery. We were fortunate to have a room overlooking the garden and pool, otherwise I can imagine the rooms being quite noisy as the hotel is on the corner of a busy road. We were situated on the upper floor which wouldn't have been suitable for anyone with health issues as there is no lift. The menu was quite limited for evening meals and on one occasion they had run out of chicken and beef dishes, offering pork only. We could have had pizza but they needed an hours notice to prepare it. We were told this after they'd started cooking some of the food otherwise we would have chosen to eat else where. They did however rectify the situation by quickly going out to buy some fresh chicken for us. The buffet breakfast was very 'local' but we were able to find something we could eat. If I ever get the chance to come back to Boracay, I'd come back to the Tropics Resort and would recommend it.

« Pleasant Stay and Helpful Staff »

As BestWestern Member I used my points to stay in this Hotel.. It is worth it. Hotel have a very nice ambiance. Clean room and a nice Pool, good breakfast buffet every morning. Helpful Staff ( Avi and Kate from the Front Desk and Jay from the Restaurant.)

    « Excellent stay »

Although the hotel is a bit older than some of the sleek new modern ones it has great charm. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It is clean and tidy with a nice pool. The breakfast was a little ordinary but still sufficient.

« Value for Money, Excellent! »

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Located in Station 2, Boracay Tropics offer nothing but serenity and A+ service. Upon check in, we are welcomed by their accommodating staffs, refreshing cucumber slush and freshly baked breads. They have big and clean rooms. Food is also great, but what I really love is the serene ambiance of the hotel. Unlike the other resorts which is very city and modern, Tropics has a lot of landscapes and woody villas and interiors. There you will feel the best Boracay experience. This property is Highly recommended. Kudos!!! Oopss, not to mention that they won The Hall of Fame award in Trip Advisor.

    « Family getaway »

One of the best hotel resort in boracay . It is a 5 mins. Walk to the beach. Station 2 . It is also known for serenity and beauty. More importantly , Oh i love the heavenly breakfast buffet. The staff are warm , friendly and the room are spacious specially for family . They have a beautiful and infinity pool design. You will surely love the place and we'll definitely visit the place again. thank you so much boracay tropics for serving us better.

    « Amazing stay! »

The resort is a 5 minutes walk from the beach but offers a pool instead if you don't want to go the beach, the staff are nice and very helpful, the room wa clean, although it will surely takes sometime when you request for something coz we just requested a pair of slippers and it took them forever to bring one to us, the breakfast is delightful and the ambiance is so tropical which is very good for us, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cheaper room and willing to walk for a few minutes to the beach.

    « Perfect for Vacay »

We Booked here with my Wife for our vacation trip and it is perfectly awesome. Good ambience, Good Food, Good Staff. Great experiece that we had. We will surely come back next year for another trip! Thumbs up!

    « Family getaway »

We had a great family vacation here last June 28 to July 1, 2016. Even the few rain did not prevent us to enjoy our stay. It was a splendid way to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our son. We chose this resort hotel because of its fantastic value for money and extensive facilities. Our son really loved the kiddie pool. We are just sad that the playroom is no longer available. We want to extend our gratitude and appreciation to Grace De Roxas that all our special requests were met. It was a nice surprise of the room upgrade to Junior Cabana which gives us a great view fronting the pool. Our flight came at an earlier time but we were so delighted that we were immediately greeted and escorted to our transfer. Special shout out to Manong Driver who is very courteous. The buffet breakfast were delicious. Not to mention the savory taste of their signature dish 'Pata Tim'. Room kept clean on a daily basis. An easy walk to the beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It was indeed an excellent choice.

    « Absolutely Perfect »

I can't say enough good about this hotel. From the start with Grace for my reservations this is an awesome experience. The staff truly make you feel at home. I stayed here last year for 21 days and this year for 45 days. From the cooks to the reception staff to the waitresses and waiters to the housekeepers they were always upbeat fun and family oriented. This is my second home.

    « Pleased our senses »

Boracay Tropics is one of our Boracay highlights. As we enter the establishment we are welcomed by their very accommodating staff. What I loved the most is that through out our stay they are very helpful and no staff assisted without a smile. :) The ambiance is really relaxing, picturesque, accepted our massage schedule even at 11pm. Delicious food is served and hyped our appetite. Pool area is very relaxing since it was surrounded by trees. Beachwise, 5mins walk only and really enjoyed it because I get to have a little exercise. I cant wait to go back here and Im recommending it as well if you would like to visit Boracay.

« Best Customer Service I have ever received »

This was my first solo trip, so I wanted a known hotel that was close to the action. My choice was perfect, I have never received such warm hospitality. I was met at Caticlan airport by a hotel rep & taken to the hotel. I received a really nice welcome drink (I don't know what it was but was lovely) & taken to my room. My room backed on to the pool area which was beautiful, but the main door faced the street. There is (what looks like) a new hotel being built directly opposite the hotel, work starts at 7:30am & can go on to as late as 10pm - it's not too offensive, but something to bear in mind. Also it is particularly noisy when it rains. The hotel organized excursions for me, it was walking distance to the D & E Mall (you don't realize how close until you get your bearings) take insect repellent with you as due to the amount of trees & especially in the rainy season there are gnats & they tend to follow you in when you open the door to your room, but the staff did come and spray the room for me. Breakfast was OK, nothing special & there were a lot of flies - the hotel is clean, just those annoying flies that feel they have the right to join you for breakfast. I ate in the breakfast most evenings, service was quick & with good variety. I cannot fault the place, would stay there again & recommend. Truly, lovely people.

    « Grounds picturesque »

This hotel is nice. It has free wifi but the wifi signal is spotty at best. It is conveniently located near the beach just a short walk. It has a outdoor pool on the grounds, nice place to cool down on a hot day. Breakfast is very fresh and they provide a wide spread. Room is spacious and have good view of the grounds which is well taken care of. Hotel staff is courteous. I used their where they sent a staff to pick me up at dock since you have to get there by boat. It was a nice experience I had nothing to worry about.

Dinning Staffs were very accommodating, I don't remember there names but They made sure that the customer is comfortable while dinning. The Food is yummy, the drinks are good especially their cucumber slush is mouthwatering wherein I would like to refill and refill,.

« 2nd visit and once again the staff blew me away (especially Kate) »

Well the fact I booked I return trip to the Boracay Tropics speaks volumes about what I think of this hotel. I booked when the rooms were on promotion and feel I got good value deal. The hotel is conveniently located although its proximity to the road is probably its major weakness. My stay was over 7 nights and the first night was adversely impacted by noise from the road (using a whistle for traffic control even in the early hours of the morning seems madness....but not the hotels fault). Anyway, having discussed my problem and lack of sleep with reception the lovely Kate managed to organise a change of rooms for me. Housekeeping is good and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a bit basic and caters largely for asian customers but I enjoyed it. Would recommend that the hotel gets a proper toaster for bread (what you have at the moment is a bit insane!!). In summary you cant really go wrong. Its about value for money and being surrounded by people who have a service ethic.

« Perfect place to stay! »

This was the first time being in Boracay. I must say, if we stayed anywhere else it would not have been as perfect a vacation. We stayed at one of the two bedroom Cabanas. It was wonderful to have my two sisters and my niece and aunt stay with us. It's a two bedroom suite with a kitchen and sitting area. Definitely a 5 star resort! Beautiful double doors that look out into the pool. Just across the pool is their restaurant that serves breakfast buffet every morning. I don't understand why other people are saying that its not good, because we all loved their food! We even had several lunch and dinner there. The servers are top notch! They even walked our leftovers to our Cabana in their original bowls. And offered to warm it up whenever we wanted to eat it again. The place was so nice, my sister and I went back after our vacation was over and spent two more nights there! I'm from the US and we don't even get this kind of service at any of our 5 star hotels! It's away from the crowd, yet there's an alley way less than a 2 minute walk away from the beach. Believe me, you'll want to stay somewhere relaxing like this. The other hotels that are directly on the beach have to deal with the noise i.e., band and live music until 1 am. If you don't mind not getting any relaxation, those hotels will work. Believe me, you'll really enjoy your stay if you stay at Best Western Boracay Tropics!

« Hospitality at its finest! »

Our stay in Boracay Tropics for my son's birthday was a truly remarkable experience. Ideally and conveniently located within a 3minute walking distance from white beach in station 2, it provides guests with an easy access to the major shopping and dining places in boracay without sacrificing their privacy, comfort and serenity. The hotel boasts of their palatable dishes and refreshing drinks and cocktails from their on site restaurant Tropicafe, rejuvenating Spa, lush greens, temperature controlled bean shaped pool, spacious and well appointed rooms, gracious and obliging staff who will provide you with utmost care and impeccable service, all these and more at a very competitive rate. We will never miss the opporrunity of staying here again when we return to Boracay. ????

« Perfect honeymoon with perfect service! »

From start to finish, i can say that their service is perfectly awesome. personally assisted from caticlan port up to the hotel, arrive with good smiles on their faces with a welcome drinks. nice staff. especially ms.bhel, kate, and john who they let us feel welcome all the time. the room is perfect for me and my wife. very serene room, so romantic, quiet away from the noisy beachfront (although you will walk like 5mins up to the beachfront) which is not an issue. very well maintained room and amenities. hope to come back there with the same experience that we had. congratulations for making another guest of yours happy and contented on their visit. will come back again. Good Job!!!

« A Sanctuary within the Party Central »

If you like to experience seclusion and peace while still being in the middle of the busy Boracay scene, stay at Boracay Tropics. Located on one end of Station 2 (near Stn. 3), it is a resort where you can get privacy -- making it perfect not only for couples and friends but for families as well. I loved the center pool surrounded by trees, with the restaurant nearby, so you can enjoy cocktails while sitting on the sun loungers. Tropicafe also serves great food, like their famous Pata Tim, Szechuan Crab, and other seafood.

    « Boracay is everything »

Boracay is everything! From relaxation, activities, family and friends bonding to night life!:) The crystal clear water, very fine white sand like a powder was so amazing. The everyday perfect sunset. ?? Night life is crazy!!! ?? The time we arrived at Boracay Tropics we already had a warm welcome. The room was so fascinating it's big and comfy (Dorm Type Room) And the hotel is only few steps away from the beach. Yipiee! The food was delicious. ?? The staffs are so friendly and hospitable. (Sorry I forgot the name of the young lady at the reception, bus she's so great and nice!) Even the hotel surrounding is nature friendly. My sisters and I tried the henna and braid... So great!!! Parasailing and helmet diving with your loved ones is an amazing experience. And many more... There is too much to see and to do! No dead time, absolutely! Thank you for this wonderful vacation. And special thanks to Boracay Tropics for making our vacation memorable. Our family will be surely coming back! :) More power! :)

« Nice stay at the Best Western Boracay Tropics »

The hotel is situated some 350 metres inland of Whitesand beach between Staion 2 and Station 3. The hotel is a little worn but very functional and is an oasis protected from the noise and bustle of the streets outside. Our room was a superior room that looked out towards a nice pool. The room was a comfortable size with a separate bathroom with shower. There is some noise from the street thats at the back of the room but didn't affect a sleepful night. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and though leans heavily towards Asian cuisine, there is enough choice for all nationalities to enjoy. The staff were great and very helpful,

    « Good and Bad »

It's the nth in Boracay and my 8th years going back and forth to the island. This time I checked in at Best Western. Good points: Rooms we're Ok its clean and it has a view to the pool. Service is good. Pool is clean. Location is not that bad since you need to walk like 3 to 5mins down to the beach area. Breakfast is ok. A lot of Asian/American Breakfast to choose. Bad: Noise from both main highway and the non stop construction of neighboring new resorts/hotels. Literally it is surrounded with construction.Pounding is non stop that really disturbs your sleep. Some tourist wash their feet in the pool(gross). We supposedly will stay for 3 nights but we check out the following day and look for another resort which is beach front and more quiet.

    « Great relaxing resort »

Amazing location., far from the madding crowd and yet near Courteous staff who always went out of the way to make our stay enjoyable, including pricing specially made veg delicacies during breakfast Amazing spa, loved the massage. I wish we had stayed a little longer. They could have had a kids pool though

« great resort close to the beach »

We stayed 3 nights here and it was wonderful. Rooms were very clean, staff was attentive, the complimentary breakfast offered plenty of selection. We even had decent wi-fi in the room which for the Philippines is a plus. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. They had staff that met us at the airport and helped us negotiate our was from the airport to the hotel since that involved a trike ride and ferry getting there and a bus ride getting back. ( we flew into one airport but had to fly out of the other one further south on the island.) I would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

    « Wonderful resort hotel! »

My husband and I stayed at the Boracay Tropics for three nights. It was our first time to visit Boracay. It was a little difficult to reach Boracay, since, to get there, you first have to fly to Catliclan, then take a small boat to Boracay. We had to tip each person that was involved in handling our luggage, from the boat to the hotel room. It was a relief when we finally reached our hotel. The hotel staff was very courteous, friendly, and willing to accommodate all our needs. One of the front desk staff, named Aira, was especially helpful. Our room did not have face towels, so, when I called to ask for them, an attendant was there within a few minutes. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. The wifi was average, and it was difficult to upload and download photos. Overall, I would highly recommend the Boracay Tropics, and I would certainly stay there again.

    « Great stay! »

We recently stayed at the best western tropics for 3 nights and it was wonderful! We found the hotel through trip advisor and although some reviews said that it was very noisy, we found it to be very quiet and relaxing. We stayed in a cabana with the garden view and it was a very clean and well kept room! The staff was very friendly and able to help us with any questions we had. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes and seemed very safe even if your walking at night. It is a farther walk to D Mall though. Around 10 - 15 minutes but it was never a big issue to walk and you can always take a tricycle. The beach is a very busy and noisy place and we found it very relaxing to head back to the garden and pool at the hotel! There complimentary buffet breakfast was also huge with a lot of selection. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if we head back to Boracay I would definitely stay again!

    « Highly Recommended! »

We had an awesome 2-night stay in one of the lovely Junior Cabana Suites of Boracay Tropics. The room is clean, spacious and has a private veranda. It is also equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The pool is also so lovely. We had an wonderful time just lounging at the day beds and enjoying a good swim. Breakfast was also good. The staff are all nice, helpful and smile all the time. I highly recommend Boracay Tropics for families, group of friends and couples.

    « Lovely resort hotel! »

Best Western Boracay Tropics is a lovely Resort Hotel located along the main road in station 2. Away from the super busy and noisy beachfront, but it is just a short 5-minute stroll to the famous white sand beach of Boracay. We stayed at the Junior Cabana Suite which has king size bed and complete with all the much-needed facilities and amenities for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is a bit limited but has a great selection of dishes perfect to start my day. Free internet access is awesome and can be accessed from anywhere in the resort. And the pool? So beautiful! We had a wonderful 2-night stay! 2 thumbs up!

    « Nice hotel »

Employees are very warm and friendly. Room is good, and housekeepers are fast. As a previous worker of a Best Western hotel in another country, this hotel has kept in line with the standards of Best Western. Location is a 5-minute walk away from the beachfront. A good thing about it is that it's less noisy.

« Nice hotel, location could be better »

if you travel to boracay, don't do transfers with your airline or at the airport, go out of the airport turn left and 100yds youll find a trike stand, 100peso for 2 that includes trike and boat fare. this hotel is located right in the middle of boat station 2. the maps I looked at showed it being on the beach, its not, and no sea view. however its a short 3-5 min walk down a side road to the beach. check in was great, we arrived about 10am and unlike other hotels who make you wait until 2 or 3pm they gave us a room straight away. all the staff were well dressed and polite. the room was spacious, 2 queen sized beds, good ac, nice big bathroom and a balcony overlooking the pool, the room was clean bright and modern. beach towels are available from reception and only 200peso deposit. there is a nice pool and the garden are well kept. its about 15-20 minutes walk to d mall overall a very nice hotel within easy reach of the beach.

« Best Time at Best Western Boracay Tropics! »

Best resort experience in the Philippines! Boracay is a fun, crazy place with so much to do and see along the beach (people, restaurants, vendors, activities)...but at the end of the day, nothing beats relaxing in a beautiful, quiet, private, paradise-like near yet so far from the hustle and bustle at the beach..Best Western Boracay Tropics IS the place to do just that...The place is so clean (US standards), staff very pleasant and food excellent! Room rates reasonable. Will definitely be back!

    « Amaaaaazing! :) »

The place is great... Staff, location, distance from the beach, food - they were just amazing. I wouldn't mind staying at this place again the next time I visit. The poolside view is very relaxing and you can have a drink or two while chatting with friends. Special thanks goes to Ms. Bhel Teves, and the staff at the kitchen and reception, who did an amazing job in accommodating our needs. Generally, the staff at the hotel were very polite and courteous.

    « Good Service/Value for you money »

The hotel location is not bad, the land sea transfer was purchase through the hotel, Bernard was very helpful, Best western should hire more like him. Breakfast is good but can be improve by providing more fruits and bread options. Overall stay is 4.5/5 star rating for me.

« Average Resort but with Great Customer Service Team »

Stayed here November 2014 and must say that I had a good time. The reception was nice and prompt. At that time there was a construction nearby so the staff on the concierge offered us a room upgrade so as to avoid possible noise. The room was big enough to accommodate two beds, the bathroom was clean and spacious with complete toiletries although the water pressure was a bit low. The food during buffet breakfast was good enough, although limited specially for foreign nationals as most food being offered are suitable for Pinoys. It's about 5 minutes away by foot from white beach and the alley was muddy at that time due to on going construction nearby so its a bit of a hassle for us. The laundry service was quick though as we were able to get it the day after be brought them to the concierge. I must commend the staffs who always have a great smile on their face. The pool was ok and great option after sun bathing and exploring the beach all day. All in all I had a great time.

    « Good so far »

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and we didn't really regret it. The accommodation was very nice. We were first assigned in a room in one of their building but since it is near the road and we don't like too much noise at night, we requested to be transferred and they granted it right away. We moved to one of their "cabanas" and it was so perfect. We like the view of the pool in our terrace and the little "duyan". Even if it is near the road, there are no too much noises going on.

« New year at Bora »

I couldn't say more adjectives about the place. It's just simply fabulous. My family and I had a wonderful time in our new year adventure in Boracay. My kids are very much at home with the accommodation of the staffs. The meals in this hotel are comparatively reasonable. I'll be coming back. Thumbs up!

    « Total Relaxation »

The place felt like going on a bali resort. We booked two dorm rooms to fit our group's needs. The rooms where well-airconditioned although it was big. It had a large flat screen cable tv. a fridge, and spacious comfort room. The employees where very helpful and welcoming. The pool was great. Best part? Their Buffet Breakfast. It's located on station along the main road so you have to walk for about 3 mins to the beach. But it's also a good thing, because it's quiet at nights when the island is on party mode. oh the rooms have strong wifi signals!

    « Amazing stay! »

The Best Western Boracay Tropics was an incredible place to stay. The staff was so friendly and professional and even greeted us with welcome drinks! Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, as well as maintained daily. The restaurant was delicious and offered a large variety of food that was reasonably priced. The location was about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The hotel arranged for an airport transfer for my sister and I to Kalibo airport and their driver, John, accompanied us all the way to Caticlan, even taking the private ferry with us. I can't say enough positive things about this hotel. If I ever return to Boracay I will definitely stay here again!

« Noisy located hotel with excellent staff »

Close to white beach, restaurants and activities. Hotel is located close to main road which makes it a noisy place 24-7. Clean hotel but interior is old. Breakfast is very local. Despite all this the hotel is worth a visit due to the excellent, helpful an positive staff.

« Everything was good except... »

Stayed in this hotel on 8/12-11/12 in a deluxe room. We were welcomed with big smile and drinks. Very pleasant! The hotel is located at station 2 where just 3-5 mins walk to white beach. The room was super clean, tidy and nothing to complain about the appearance.our room was in third floor n there's no lift in this hotel. So for the elderly ppl to climb all the way up gonna be a bit tiring. The staffs were friendly and helpful. About the breakfast, not many varieties and tasted okay. I read someone's review on water pressure in bathroom, totally agree to that. Yeah, low water pressure is the only complain from me and I hope the management will do something about it! Overall pleasant stay!

    « Great Little Getaway »

This is a great little resort for Boracay. For me, Boracay was a bit too crowded, too touristy, too party-hearty - but the Boracay Tropics was a great place to come back to and get away from it all. Room was spacious, comfortable, and attractive in a traditional style. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was ample, varied and well prepared. Best of all is the beautiful pool area, a great oasis of tranquility in the midst of the Boracay bustle.

« Friendly service, water pressure was horrible! »

Great service and very friendly. Rooms were clean and provide the necessities. However, the water pressure was horrendous! The shower was like a dripping tap.. nothing worse than been on an island with lots of sand and not being able to have a decent shower! Besides this issue everything else was great. « I loved so much , that I am hoping to return this July all the way from New Jersey United States. »

beautiful peaceful boutique resort in Boracay that has great access to Boracay's slightly quieter beautiful beaches, but still access to Boracay's super busy beach and shopping areas. excellent food . friendly helpful people. peaceful friendly pool garden area. I loved so much that I will hopefully be returning to this resort, in the near future, in the beautiful Phillipines all the way from New Jersey in the United States of America. Susan Morris

    « Staff were excellent »

The hotel was well placed at Station 2, 2 minutes from the beach. The building was a little tired but pool was great. The staff were proactive in checking flights due to APEC cancellations and rebooked our travel. They could not have been more helpful. ATMs are in short supply in Boracay so having several just outside the door was a bonus. All pillows were overstuffed and I couldn't get a flatter one.

    « Wedding in Boracay »

This was my first visit to Boracay and I had no idea where to stay. I picked the Best Western Boracay Tropics and was not disappointed. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a balcony that overlooks the lovely pool area. But the hotel's biggest asset is it's staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Our flights were cancelled by the airline to return to Manila, and the reception staff, particularly the lady who was the main the reception person. went above and beyond reorganising our flights and also new transfers to Kalibo (as Caticlan airport was closed for flights). She even arranged a light breakfast to take! Even though this hotel is a short walk from the beach, I would stay here again. It was a lovely experience.

    « Cabana, cabana »

We stayed in a cabana which was simply amazing. It was fronting the pool, and it had a lanai with a hammock. I spent quite a number of hours in the hammock in the morning while reading a book, very relaxing. What i like about this resort is that its layout has been carefully thought of and everything is within reach. A few steps you get to tge restaurant, the front desk and the pool. Just round the hotel are restaurants and just a few steps, you reach the beach.

    « judge for yourself... »

the hotel is located on the corner of the busy main street. the street is actually quite narrow, non-stop passing tricycles produce horrific noise, but this is by far not the main problem... the hotel is sandwiched by two intense construction places. work begins at 8am and finishes 10pm mon-sat.... no kidding, the times are accurate. sunday is the only day you can relax. hammers hit like crazy your head and go on your nerves. btw, these constructions will not be finished anytime soon. i arrived friday night. the double bed rooms are on the side of the main construction across, on a outer open air corridor motel like. about 10 meters against on air level there were the workers with the helmets and hammers - first thing you see opening your door. the narrow path separating (the one leading to the beach by a little over 5 min walk) is about 3 meters wide. walking along the dusty path, you have to constantly yield to tricycles and small vans. having booked for 8 days, after 4 days i complained to the front desk that i can't take the noise anymore, and they were kind to upgrade me to cabana, at the inner side of the hotel. at the back there was the other construction place but far less intimidating. about the hotel itself.... quite good in all aspects, the only down with he cabana was the very low hot water pressure, something quite bothering. the pool is small but good and clean. buffet breakfast - not bad, but randomly a satisfying dish on certain days during my stay, although it was always made look like rich on choice. the service stuff in the restaurant is built by kids without any experience.... a lot of them, really.... 7-8 of them, they stand next to each other on the side, dressed in white shirts and black pants or skirts, and wonder what to do or just dont wonder - some of the boys were occasionally playing fights and laughing. 2-3 were really working, and they were enough for the whole work there. it is not professional to hire a bunch of such young kids without any experience at extremely low wages for a pretentious hotel. this is not a summer camp outdoor fest or first semester hospitality control training school. even some of the dinner waiters somehow left a wrong impression in me. all this is total opposite of the branch in cebu- best western lex, where these things meet high professional criterias.

The guest room is a typical of what you can expect from the 3 or 4 star hotel--comfy beds, spacious bathroom, aircon, mini fridge, cable tv. safe. etc. The room is clean and well-maintained. There is an indoor pool which can be a great way to relax if you want to have a break from the beach. There is buffet breakfast which is satisfying enough. The hotel a five minute walk from White Beach Station 2 which was just perfect since you are away from the crowd, away from the noise, yet you are not so distant from where the action is.

    « Perfect stay! »

I travelled and stayed with my group of friends, it was 5 of us that stayed in a family-sized room with bunk beds. It was room 601 as i remember. Staffs were very friendly and accomodating, they would really try their best to do what they can. They really got a best customer service. The room was perfect too, everything was clean and the breakfast was alao good. Thanks to Best Western Boacay Tropics Resort for the memorable stay and for the hospitality. Would probably stay here again when we got a chance to go back to Boracay again. I highly recommended this hotel!!

« Better than the beach »

We enjoyed it here. The pool and poolside is great. The food here is good, along with the afternoon BBQ,staff were on the ball which is rare in the Phillipines. Happy hour was also great. I preferred being here next to the pool than leaving the Hotel itself where you get hassled every 2 minutes on the beach by someone selling something. The best Hotel we've stayed in in the Phillipines on our two visits

« overall it is average »

This hotel for four days, staff very good, but the surroundings are very noisy, because beside the building so had asked to be moved, but the rooms are on the third floor and no lift, so for me with elders and children, a bit inconvenient. Restaurant, food is terrible, and see them fly on the bread. Swimming pool staff to clean up every day. Room very clean, the space is large, but feel old, bathroom toilet is leaking. Hotels probably can be reached within a ten-minute walk to the beach, there are Tuk-tuks can sit next to the door, walk about 15 minutes to the seafood market overall is good location.

« Very nice rooms. Romantic, I would stay here again. »

The staff here is very good. When we were waiting for our room to get ready they provided us with a cold glass of tea while waiting for an early check-in. They called the transportation company many times while we waited in the lobby on check out day because they were late. The only bad thing was the construction next door was very loud, but that is no fault of the hotel. The food here is excellent as well and the staff of the restaurant was very helpful. They even made us a dish that was not on the menu. The hotel let us wait in the lobby and watched our things even after we checked out so we could go shopping.

    « Worth Another Try »

Our stay at Boracay Tropics is definitely an experience to remember. From the hotel accommodation, food, service, and relaxing ambiance, it is truly a perfect choice if you are looking for a wonderful hotel experience. The hotel staff were very accommodating and hospitable as they made sure all our needs were met. The food served were perfect to our cravings. We will surely comeback for more!
