« overnight stop on a road trip »

we were driving for a few days, and my husband wanted to be able to get back on the road quickly the next day. This was a good location for that, as well as if someone was flying out, since it was right next to the airport.

    « Nice place »

Staff was great and friendly, rooms were nice and clean. Beds were very uncomfortable and a lot of outside noise was very loud. I thought our window was open due to hearing all of the traffic and other people.

« Make sure you are making a reservation for the right hotel »

There are two Best Western hotels close to the Boise airport. One is great and one is poor. The names of the hotels are so similar that I chose the poor one instead of the good one. The good hotel has nice big rooms and plenty of parking. There is a nice breakfast room with plenty of space. Not so with this hotel.

    « vacation »

For a Best Western this hotel needs to be replace. For the price you expect to get much better. Rooms are clean but, bathrooms are small, bathroom fan too loud, rooms were noise from freeway, bed to hard. The breakfast was OK but the dinning are was way to small, vary few places to sit. I stay in Boise often and in the same area and the same price or lower you can stay in some very nice hotels. I am coming back next week and will stay someplace else.

    « Highly Recommend »

Stayed for a few days and was sad to leave. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast room was small but made up for it in selection. Room was clean and comfortable. Close to the airport. Easy access to the interstate as well as being able to get to the city centre quickly.

    5
    « Great surprise. »

The price was about 20% less than other hotels in the area so I didn't expect much. Was I wrong. It was as if I'd paid top dollar. Just about everything was right. Clean, fast internet, good shower pressure, good bed, quiet, extremely polite staff. I will remember this as one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

    « Quite comfortable »

Everything was quite comfortable and convenient. The room was very clean and well prepared. The tub looked new and had handicap bar which is good for older guests. We were happy with everything. . Gooooooooooooooooood

« Great deal close to airport »

I booked this hotel solely on the reviews on this site. I was unsure of the outcome but I was happy. The hotel is smallish, had rooms with door facing the parking lot on 2 floors. It was well maintained inside and out. Parking lot is a bit tight for spaces, but manageable. The check in was above nice. The reception person was helpful, informative and friendly. Way above the norm! Room was basic, but updated and very clean. I was impressed that it had plenty of lights. Electrical outlets to charge devices were hard to find but there was enough if you looked. My only two complaints were the heat/AC was loud and it blew the window curtains constantly. WiFi was an issue but it might have been a setting on my laptop as my phone connected easily. While there was highway noise, it was not much of a concern.

« BEST Western is right! »

The location was very convenient, just a couple minutes from the airport. We arrived late and it was great to be so close. We departed early and were at the car rental return within 2 minutes. The staff was great! They couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. They constantly asked if they could do anything for us. Had one issue with the bathroom. The front desk person came immediately and resolved the problem. The rooms were clean and comfy. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of choices.

    « Stay here often »

Love staying here as it is close to the airport. Owners and staff are always friendly and helpful (even let us borrow a bottle opener during one stay). Cheaper to leave your vehicle here and take the shuttle if going on a longer trip. Clean, comfortable rooms. Coffee makers and mini fridges are always a bonus for us.

« Clean and close to the airport »

The hotel is within walking distance of the Boise Airport and is clean, well maintained, and has a hot breakfast. The staff is fantastic and very helpful, especially Jidzi who was working the night shift and helped us with some amenities we needed. The pool is outdoors so not very useful in the winter, and they've had to close the hot tub due to vandalism. If those aren't dealbreakers for you, this is a great stay at a great rate.

    « Best bestwestern ever »

The staff at this location are wonderful! Super helpful starting from checking to checkout. One the best experience I had staying at hotel, because the staff was so sweet and kind! I recommend this location for everyone and i will be back~

    « Great hotel »

Excellent location and fast friendly staff. Breakfast was better than most other hotels nearby, the room was good size, comfortable bed and quiet location. Convenient to airport and highway, I would definitely stay there again.

    « First-floor, First-rate, work-date! »

I install Dispatch Operator Console equipment @ Emergency and Life-services facilities located throughout the Western United States, for my employer. I am usually guesting for several weeks @ whichever hotel fits the financial, and distance-to-job-site, budget. Many times, that does not translate to a large choice! Often, upper floors are not seviced by an elevator. Why does it seem, the only available rooms are UPSTAIRS? With over a hundred pounds of "Carry-ons", this was the SECOND pleasant surprise with my check-in @ Best Western Airport Inn, Boise, IDAHO; (My room was on the FIRST FLOOR)! The first pleasantry was the attractive young lady who greeted me! Next was my initial inspection of my accommodations, "The Sniff Test"! Far too often, though bedding may be fresh and clean, the smell of musty mattresses and pillows comes through. (I hate that!) This was not the case for this room! Even deep sniffing came up fresh and clean throughout! So was true for the rest of the room, as well. Credit to the very happy-to-serve housekeeping staff, who always responded as happy to see me, when passing. Now, we all know, unless they have a restaurant on site, a hotel's "Complimentary Breakfast" means "Instant Scrambled Eggs" and "Micro-waved Sausages". Best Western Airport Inn, Boise, IDAHO, has no restaurant, but they did provide a very clean, and well-accoutrement-ed fare. Also, there is a Denny's right next door! The only trouble was a slow-flushing commode, which I noticed the very first flush. I thought it was "water-saving" related. But it turned out to be an issue in very short order! Stoppages were resolved with a plunge, but the slow flow was another matter. The Manager immediately appeared at my door, in the 26-degree night air, issuing humble apologies, and offering to transfer my residency to the neighboring unoccupied room. He then personally ported my belongings to the room next door, in lieu of fixing the loo! Within a day, their Maintenance augered the stool to find the spring-loaded spindle to a toilet paper holder, running Interference, well into the base! (Perhaps a previous guest was clumsy, and was too shy to report it.) This second room exactly matched the good points of the first, with the addition of a fast-flusher! This qualifies me to say, I had a very good and comfortable experience in TWO rooms, in the same visit!

    « Outdated and overpriced »

Rooms were old and musky smelling. Carpets were dirty I didn't take my socks off and they are brown. The price range this should be is around a $45.00 a night for the lack of updated quality. They had a newer sign to lure people in but most of the exterior security doors would not lock.

    5
« Great all around expereince. »

Breakfast was fantastic. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Location was great. Price was excellent. Will stay again. Just wish they had an indoor pool, but other than that it was perfect. Looking forward to coming back soon.

    « Overnight Stay »

In the midst of moving out of house we needed a place to stay. We also moved 1,800 miles across country and stayed in other Best Westerns along the way. I personally do not think the hotel at Boise is worth the price. Our room stayed it was no -smoking but it reeked of smoke. We also stayed in the room at the very end of the building and could hear the freeway all night! We left before checking out the morning continental breakfast. The bed was comfortable, fluffy pillows, bathroom was dated but clean. Flatscreen tv was nice and relaxing.

    « Delightful stay »

I stayed here for three nights, and every staff member I encountered was helpful and good-natured. The selection of breakfast items was really good, a better selection than many other hotels I've stayed at. It wasn't fancy, but there were lots of choices. An overall delightful stay.

    4
    « Enjoyed our stay! »

the Staff was great! It was wonderful to wake up each morning to ah good hot breakfast. it could have used some variation in hot breakfast items, yet it was delicious. the staff is friendly and attentive, especially at breakfast. The shower was great too. The bed was quite comfy. My family and I will return to Best Western again great service for the price.

    « Average compared to most BW's »

Poor staff at check in-did not seem to know the process and was not very welcoming. Room was ok-beds adequate but pillows were hard. More complimentary breakfast was ok but we had to ask for things to be replenished as the pans were almost empty and food was cold.

    « Oct 2017 trip »

A small hotel that was very convenient to the airport. It had basic amenities ie. wifi, pool, breakfast bar. Overall I would rate this around 3.5. I would stay there again but there is also another BW across the street which I will rate later. The hotel was clean and in pretty good shape.

    3
« right next to freeway »

Hotel staff was very friendly and professional. Hotel looks like it was built in the 80's and never updated. Fixtures are older style, shower rod was in partial disrepair. The toilet was running when we checked in, so I jiggled the handle to get it to stop. One side of the hotel faces the freeway and that happened to be the side we were on. There was a lot of noise from the freeway all night long. There is seating for about 10 people between three tables in the breakfast area. The coffee was very good.

    5
« Perfect place convenient to the airport »

We stayed one night here before an early morning flight out of Boise. It is minutes away from the airport. Our check in was seamless, with express checkout for early morning exit. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet, even in a busy location.

    3
    « Everything was good. »

Could update the rooms a little. Staff was very friendly service was great as well. Room was very clean, bed was very, very comfortable. Quiet, relaxing. I would stay there again. It also was very reasonable in price.

    5
    « Had a nice stay there »

I went there for a river rafting competition and it was a very nice place, the pool wasn't ready but that was alright. There were a few places to eat at that were OK so really no complaints at all I would recommend it to others.

    5
    « the best »

we were very happy with our room, easy access to freeway. Quite , even though close to Airport. Went swimming in the pool and it was clean. Used the ice and dryer amenities. They were very close to our room.

    4
« Same room way better experience »

Another modestly-priced room: A few weeks ago, I reviewed a room in Albany New York. That room layout was exactly like the room at the Best Western Airport Inn Boise. However, the experience is completely different. This room is clean, it's been painted, there isn't stuff on the walls and I don't feel scared to use the shower.

    3
« Exciting to say the least »

During our stay at the hotel, we found that the room was good, but that the bathroom could use some update (as in paint and new lighting) The rooms were clean and good for the price we paid. Unfortunately during the stay one of our party was in the bathroom and could not get out. The door handle mechanism had broken and the door could not be unlocked or opened. We called the front desk immediately and a young man who worked at the front came down quickly but had not the tools or ability to get the door opened. The space under the door was very small and so it became difficult to try to get anything under the door for our party to possibly remove the door or something of that nature. Finally after finding a small pocket knife and using the room key, our party was able to cut the key and slip it between the door and door jam and get the door open. We then had to find heavy tape to tape the mechanism so that the door could not close all the way and lock someone else in the room. The rest of the stay in that hotel the door had to remain slightly ajar in order for it not to close.

    5
    « Great little place »

This is an adorable little motel. We weren't flying but it is incredibly close to the airport, but there was very little airport noise. In fact the motel room was extremely quiet even though it was directly in front of the pool in August. The young man that checked us in was very efficient and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the showerhead extremely hot water with good pressure, there was a blow dryer shampoo/conditioner, lotion a coffee maker with coffee, a microwave and a refrigerator and a very nice television. There were lots and lots of channels available on the TV. Breakfast in the morning was very good, there was a wide selection of bagels, muffins, breads, fruits and even microwavable burritos and Jimmy Dean croissant sandwiches and English muffin sandwiches. Also they had scrambled eggs and sausage links as well as a Belgian waffle maker. So the breakfast was better than we expected. If I had to complain about something it would be that the Ian room air conditioner was very noisy while it was running (which is great because I like a loud fan noise when I'm sleeping) but when it was not cooling the whole thing would shut down so your cycling between a loud rumbling noise and utter silence about every four minutes which I found a little bit less than calming. Overall, though, really, really great.

« Always getting the room in the back by the freeway »

To Whom It May Concern: In the past, I've always enjoyed Best Western. However, I've been noticing a lot of changes in the quality of life. I've always been given the room back by the freeway or a disability room and I won't stay here anymore with that service again.

« Fair priced airport hotel »

Pros: - From the terminal building you can walk easily to the hotel in less than 15 mins or take the free shuttle bus which runs till 0.30 AM. - Good price for less than 100 dollar - big rooms typical American - free wifi Cons: - small breakfast room, it's in the lobby - you can hear the planes so bring ear plugs

    « Great stay! »

We stayed at this hotel during the busy eclipse time. Our son-in-law had reserved two rooms far in advance of the eclipse. Both rooms were on the second floor. My husband and I are both over 80 and we were very grateful that the manager was able to find us a first floor room. Throughout our three night stay the entire staff were very cheerful and helpful.

    5
« Very nice staff and great location »

The morning of our check out, we were leaving extremely early (to try and catch the total solar eclipse in eastern Oregon). The hotel staff prepared a snack bag of water, apple, and granola bar for all the people who were leaving early since we would miss the standard morning breakfast. A very nice touch.

    4
    « Very nice »

Morning staff person was not the most of friendly individuals. Evening staff person was very pleasant. Very different set up than what I have seen before. Very pleasant. Had a nice like a courtyard inside the hotel. Only had one washer and dryer.

    5
« Rapids, food, fantastic guides and great company »

We did the 5 day, 4 night trip down the Salmon river. The trip was well organised, the equipment good and the team of guides were amazing. They row all day through the rapids then cook dinner. They are also nice, friendly and always cheerful. The scenery and rafting was great. Thanks

    5
    « Pleasant stay. »

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room clean. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom very small but clean. I always try to stay at BW when I can book a reasonably priced room that is convenient to our travel. We will keep this one in mind for our next trip thru Boise.

    2
« Last night before flight »

Hotel is much more like a motel. You have to get to your room from outside and drag your luggage up the stairs. Pool was not being filtered at all and it had bugs and leaves floating around. Breakfast was only from 6-9 which wasn't very convenient considering it's an airport hotel and most people have to be at the airport early.

    5
« Clean Room. Friendly Staff »

I always stay here when I'm in the City of Trees. The place is convenient to the interstate hwy; it's quick on and off. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast was good. The room had nice new carpet & was totally spotless. And it was quiet. There were no outside sounds--well, once there were some motorcycles outside, but that was for just a few moments.

    4
    « Clean »

Very close to the airport, the rooms are good sized and clean. The beds are comfortable and there is a complimentary continental breakfast. Be sure to request a room on the front side of the hotel...the back faces the freeway. The staff is friendly and accomodatinf.

    4
« Worked for the Purpose »

Hotel is obviously a work in progress--an older property the current owners/managers are working to update and keep maintained. All amenities were functioning. Breakfast was especially nice. Would stay here again for the same purpose.

  • 5
    « Nice hotel »

This hotel was nice and a fair price. The room was clean and everything in working order. Breakfast was the usual hotel fair but still appreciated. The beds are only double and with family members queen size would be much nicer.

    5
    « Very pleased »

While attending the 2017 Mountain Home Country Music Festival we drove back and forth from Boise to Mountain Home for 3 nights. It was so comforting knowing we had a comfy clean bed to sleep in after long hours in the sunshine. We were very pleased with our stay. Rooms were clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, nice breakfast choices but most of all the entire staff was incredible, welcoming and so friendly. Great place to stay.

    4
    « Over night stay »

We stopped at the Best Western for the night. Our room was clean and in nice condition when we arrived. We swam in the outdoor pool. Got up and ate our free breakfast (comes with the room). Nice breakfast, lots of choices. Very happy with our stay.

    5
    « Great stay »

Mikki and simi always are friendly and the entire staff makes you feel welcome. Convenient location and full breakfast and free internet. They have remodeled and offer an outdoor pool for the summer which is refreshing

    4
    « GREAT STAFF »

I needed to accommodate an associate on a very short notice basis, called the hotel and Jimmy at the front desk made it all happen quickly and without a hassle, he has that Can Do Spirit and is a great example of Good Customer Service.

    5
    « Great Place »

Loved this hotel. It was very clean, beautifully furnished, and everyone was friendly. Loved the indoor spa, pool and gym! The beds very very comfortable and the sheets were high quality! The rooms were also very quiet.

    4
« our ibew reunion trip »

We were so glad that they had a BW so close to the airport. And that there was a restaurant right across the street from it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. And the food was so good, I just wish they had the waffle maker that makes the small waffles instead of the big one. And we loved the food across the street at the Kopper Kettle.

    3
    « Sufficient »

For a short stay, this hotel is sufficient. It's near the airport, close to restaurants, and it has an outdoor pool. The staff was really helpful. There is a variety of items to choose from for breakfast.

    1
    « Avoid »

Shuttle driver was rude, van felt like it was on its last legs. Bathroom look like it had been flooded multiple times, bathroom fan sounded like a jet taking off, room was very dingy. Seemed like a low income apartment complex. Not near (walking distance) anything except a Dennys and another crappy "steak house" that was just a glorified Dennys. Wont be back.

    3
    « Convenient airport hotel »

Convenient, fairly priced airport hotel. Inadequate parking was a problem. We reserved and stayed in two non-smoking rooms. One smelled of smoke although not strongly. Due to late hour of arrival, we stayed in the room. Mentioned it at check-out.

  • 4
    « Nice place »

The staff was very helpful and welcoming, the room was clean and fresh smelling everything was in working order and families were enjoying the pool. The breakfast had a good amount of choices and was replenished frequently.

    5
    « Boise traveller »

Clean rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Easy to get mixed up with best western across the road. Furnishings were up to date. Even had a line for drying clothes in bathroom. Some road noise on north rooms

    1
    « Smelly and Old »

We stayed in this hotel before, a year ago. The first time or room stunk like smoke. We stayed because of the location to the airport. At that time we noticed they were remodeling the place. We decided to give them a second try. It looked nice remodeled from the outside. Once again our room smelled like smoke. We opened the door and turned the fan on high. After a while we thought it had worked until we left for a few hours and came back. It stilled smelled. We told the front desk and they offered us an air freshener. Our room was completely surrounded below and next to by smoking rooms. Why would you have a non smoking room surrounded by smoking rooms? Makes no sense. The sheets were clean but thread bare in multiple places. The bed was super springy and soft which was not comfortable. New paint and pictures can't make this property new. It's a low rate motel. We always try to stay at BW but don't think this place deserves the name.

    4
    « Very Clean »

I stayed for one night so I could be near the airport for an early morning fligh. I was pleasantly surprised that the room had a mini fridge and microwave.. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. I had to leave before breakfast and the front desk provided a bag to go with water, granola and an apple. Great place if you need to stay close to the airport. Also there is a shuttle to the airport starting at 4 am in the morning.

    5
    « A nice stay »

We stayed here for a night before flying away to vacation. It was perfect for the occasion. The rooms are clean, the staff very helpful as we had to leave very early in the morning. We were pleased with our visit here.

    5
    « Great Service »

We have very good service, the rooms were clean, the staff was courtesy. It was quiet. There was a decent breakfast that was provided. The grounds were well kept. It was centrally located at for locations that we were visiting, easy to find and right of the freeway.

    5
    « Moving to Boise »

A very nice first experience to greet us at our new home state. We stayed one week while we looked for a place to live. We had our cat with us and he did very well. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The morning breakfast bar had yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, muffins, eggs, sausage, toast, waffles, etc. very nice! It worked perfect for our needs.

    3
« Traveling to Tulip Time in Pella, Iowa »

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, comfortable but a bit noisy on the freeway side. Breakfast selection was quite adequate. Would stay there again for the price. No elevator. Pet friendly.

    3
    « Comfortable place »

I stayed here for 1 night as i was passing through town. Check in was quick and easy. My room was clean and comfortable. It had a coffee maker and refrigerator and a great bed. Internet is free. Breakfast was standard, with fresh fruit. It was good. Overall this place was average.

    3
    « Travelling home »

The service was good at the hotel very pleasant staff. The hotel was very noisy airplanes coming and going. Not very good soundproofing . We were awakened by people coming and going in the night. Breakfast was low quality no eggs only white bread, bananas over ripe.

  • 4
    « Boise Idaho »

Quiet if you stay on the swimming pool side, otherwise you hear the freeway. Rooms clean. Easy check in and out. Lobby small, no room for gathering of large group. We were a small group so it did not really matter. Close to airport and was easy to get to back and forth from the airport and major freeways thru Boise. Breakfast was value worthy. All foods seemed fresh. There was a computer to use with internet capabilities. This is always a plus for us when we travel.

    4
    « Nice »

Close to airport but not noisy. Restaurant right across the street. Room was clean with nice tv. Free guest breakfast was just ok but what do you expect for free. Easy trip to downtown Boise from hotel location.

    4
    « Good nights stay »

This BW is right off the highway and next door to the airport, convenient. Also pretty close to restaurants. Of course being close to the highway you hear traffic noise all night. For those who have dogs the pet walking area is very small.

    3
    « Time for facelift »

Great location at the entrance to the airport and just minutes (by car) from downtown Boise. That's the positive. As for the negative: the hotel and rooms are very dated, our bathroom sink faucet needed to be replaced; tub and shower appearance less than appealing (but functional); the internet service was spotty; breakfast options were sparse; and it was served in the lobby with only 3 tables to accommodate guests. Strangely, there is another Best Western right across the street that by outward appearance would likely be my choice should I be through Boise again.

    5
    « Great stay »

Will return we loved the choices for breakfast my kids were very happy with ally the different choices every morning, quick and easy food you can grab and go back to the room and eat or heat up! Coffee was good too!

    3
    « Not a great value »

The overall experience of the hotel was that of a $40./night, not a $100/night hotel. Stay across the street where the Best Western has amenities. The dirty outdoor hallways were reminiscent of a 1950s travelodge, no pool, no hot tub, minimal breakfast with expired items. Rooms were small, beds need replacing.

    4
    « pride of ownership »

We had stayed here a few years ago and considered it "an okay place". Our most recent trip has raised that review. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and really seemed to care about the place and the customers. We will return more frequently.

« Sometimes older IS better!!! This is one! »

Great smaller motel, just off the freeway, very easy to find. Received a courteous welcome from the receptionist, Shawn (I think). Was coffee and cookies available if needed a quick snack from the travel. Efficient check-in and requested a room on the first floor, since I was traveling with two dogs. I had a room on the backside of the motel near the freeway and DIDN'T HEAR a sound from the roadway at all!!! Nor anything from the airport, AT ALL!!! WONDERFUL that I could back right up to my room and unload. Nice, clean room with all the amenities that a larger, newer motel would have. Bed was perfect, as was the working of the internet and cooler/heater. Super abundant breakfast in a small room; efficient, easy check-out. Nice small grass area for pottying the dogs with trash can handy. I'd recommend this location to anyone, but especially someone traveling with dogs. I traveled alone and felt completely comfortable and secure. Thanks to a great staff.

« Best Western Airport Inn, Boise, Idaho »

It is an older style motel that has been updated. It was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great. It was very convenient to the highway and is close to the airport. There is an OK restaurant right across the street, so everything we needed for our stopover. I would stay there again.

    5
« Good experience and good value »

The hotel was comfortable, clean, quiet even for being near the airport. The staff was helpful and the breakfast area was clean and had a good variety of cold and hot foods. The only issue for us was the quality of the mattress which was springy and lumpy but the room overall was good and we felt was a good value. It was close to the airport which was convenient as well.

    « Great location,shuttle to airport »

This motel is right next to the airport. There is a shuttle. The rooms were the usual but were spotless. The gentleman at the desk made us feel very welcome. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fresh with lots of choices. There is a nice outdoor pool area in the summer. I have stayed here before and appreciate how easy it is to get back on the freeway.

« Its ok but across the street is better. »

We didn't realize that their were 2 BW at the airport. We have stayed across the road numerous times as it is great property with a lot more to offer however I made a mistake booking and ended up here. Bed not great . Parking tight , good breakfast , clean room pleasant staff.

    3
« Our bed was not very good »

You could hear and feel the springs in the bed. Breakfast was nothing special. Staff was friendly and the location right next to the airport was helpful. Best Western across the street looked nicer, but they were all booked up.

« Convenient to the airport »

Landed in Boise at midnight and got the airport shuttle to the Airport Inn - only a few minutes away. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient and took our bag up to our room which was on the second floor and there is no elevator. Although close to the airport we had a quiet night. The breakfast was OK with quite a bit of choice. We stayed in the same room the night before we left Boise very early in the morning. The hotel arranged shuttle pick up and provided a brown bag breakfast.

    « Traveling through Boise »

Stayed here for one night. Parking lot is very small. Had a room on front and had to park in the back. We unloaded in a handicap parking spot and then moved the car. After driving all day, the chairs in room was hard. Husband and I both used laptops at the table and chairs. not very spacious. King bed was OK. Smoking room. Was able to move car in the morning next to our room to load it back up.

    4
    « Close to Airport »

Visiting out of state friends were staying here, so we decided to also stay here as a matter of convenience. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was well above average, which we appreciated. The staff was friendly and efficient.

    « Not a Good Stay »

We stayed at the Best Western Airport Way in Boise, Idaho for one night to see our Marine Grandson before he was deployed. While the front staff were very nice, the room was not so much!! The hotel backs up to the freeway so was very noisy. Upon getting ready to go to bed, pulling back the bedding, there were long black hairs in the bed. It was obvious the sheets had not been changed. It was very late and there were no other rooms available. I took the sheets off and shook them out, removed the hair and had no other choice but to stay. If you stay at this hotel, asked for a room in front to avoid freeway noise and as soon as you get in your room I would give it a very good check to make sure the linens were clean. Also, someone should show the housekeeping staff the proper way to make a bed. The bed skirt was hanging on the floor and the duvet cover was what appeared to be just thrown over the bed with no attention to detail.

    1
« Almost the worst Best Western »

The check in guys were rude and disrespectful. I don't know if it was because I came in on my Harley or what. The room was terribly overpriced, $40.00 higher than the last stay there in Mar or Apr. I could have drove 20 miles and received a better treatment and jetted tub for the same price.

    3
    « Boise Airport »

We were on a quick journey and needed a fast place to stay near the east side of Boise. This hotel was available, easy to get on and off the freeway and was staffed by caring people. We would recommend this Best Western if you are in a hurry and want a place close to the airport in Boise. It was quiet. The parking was tight but adequate for the night.

    2
« Freeway noise is pretty bad. »

We stayed here because it was the only option in a busy Boise. We found out when we arrived that it was a smoking room which was pretty disgusting. But beggars can't be choosers. The real negative is the freeway noise. The single pane windows blocked none of the noise and I had semi-trucks rolling through my room all night long. Room was nice and clean and internet service was good. Just try to end up on the side away from the freeway.

    « Yellowstone Trip »

This hotel was easy to find, quiet (considering it was located by the airport), no airport noise and it has an excellent breakfast. As all hotels, the pillows were too hard and the showerheads were too high for a shorter-than-average person to reach (I'm 5'2" tall). Other than that, it was an overall excellent hotel.

    3
« Not fancy but good value »

Not as upgraded as Best Western across street, but the rates reflect this. Breakfast is standard for any Best Western, rooms clean and updated some since last stay 2 years ago. Managers seem to be striving to upscale motel.

    4
    « Nice value. Clean »

Close to airport with free shuttle. Nice staff and had breakfast ready to go at 5:00am for us early risers. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Had too much furniture in smallish rooms. It was kinda comical.....mirror behind the TV haha. Table and chairs in front of the A/C unit.

    3
« A bit disappointed with this location »

A LITTLE low on the quality of most BW's. Thin walls and poor shower head were annoying. What more can I say. We didn't eat the breakfast provided . They had coffee available to go and also a bag to go breakfast which we did not take.

    4
    « Beautiful motel »

We enjoyed our stay there and rested well. they don't have a Spa tub which after motorcycling in would have been nice. The breakfast was great, the rooms are nice the pool was clean and the price was right. The clerks were helpful and did take care of us. Several choices for eating out close by.

    3
    « Best Western »

There are two Best Western hotels at the Boise Airport, both across the street from each other. The one further away from the freeway cost more to stay at and is much nicer. The lesser price one is right next to the freeway and just average from accommodations.

    « BW Airport Inn »

The staff is professional, rooms clean, basic continental breakfast and easy access to airport and Boise State University. Air conditioning works well and comfortable spot to relax after a day exploring Boise.

    « boise bw airport »

The room was very clean and comfortable. Good water pressure. The laundry services were good. The WiFi would come and go which is a little irritating. Same with sending texts. I've stayed here before and always received excellent service. Good location. Easy on/off I-84. Breakfast was okay.

« Vietnam vet enjoying retirement »

A visit to family brought me to this nice hotel in Boise. The breakfast was ok, but a bacon option instead of sausage would be nice. A small issue, but it was still a decent place to stay. I do plan to visit Boise again soon, and am planning to stay there again. Thanks again BW.

    3
    « good room »

nice comfortable king size bed, very clean, very small room, no refrigerator, no elevator, too expensive for the quality and location, for one night traveling through it was just average, nothing exciting. restaurants within walking distance

    « Clean & quite »

Like many other reviews, we were a bit concerned about noise from the freeway but it was really quiet and comfortable. Nice clean hotel and good breakfast. Easy on & off from freeway. Will stay here next time in Boise.

« Ok for what it is.... »

...an airport hotel. Has on site long term parking for trips but not that much less expensive than airport parking deck. Also make sure you got car park reservations! Otherwise they might be full, and get a number or something. I called and ended the conversation thinking I had a spot....I had to park at the airport and have not returned here since. It is a few dollars cheaper, and has pretty good internet. Iis a nicely renovated old Holiday Inn 1970's style but clean and close.

    3
« Inexpensive and helpful staff, beds too small »

I just won't stay there again. I slept terrible, because of the wall unit air conditioning noise and the small full side beds. The staff was great. Breakfast was good, but I get hotel room so I can sleep and cleaned up, and I had the worse night sleep I ever had in a hotel. I will spend the extra money and go to another hotel next time.

    3
« Not the usual Best Westen PLUS »

Smaller bathroom and living area than other BW Plus hotels we've stayed at , but price was lower than other hotels in the area . Will continue to look for newer BW properties , like we have stayed in the past .

    « Road Trip 2016 »

The location of this Best Western property is just a block or two to the Boise International airport entrance, just off the freeway, pretty standard Best Western property. Staff was very pleasant to deal with at this location.

    « Won't stay here again »

We stayed here because I had a conference in Boise. The stay was horrible. The beds were old, and you could feel the springs in them. The breakfast was okay. The door had gaps in it that you could see outside. The staff was no t very helpful. On the plus side, the housekeeping did an amazing job!!

Vey quiet. the staff are wonderful restaurant's around walking distance I recommend the copper kettle .wake calls prompt and Togo breakfast bags for early departures and wonderful shuttle service which starts at 4:17 am till the last flight into the airport.

    « Nice hotel »

Stayed for 3 nights in May 2016. Front desk was friendly and efficient. Rooms and bedding nice. Breakfast was good with extras like sausage sandwich, burritos, bottled water, and more. The eggs as often the case were bad. There was plenty of parking front and back and they had a computer terminal with printer avail to print boarding passes, etc. In the three days there I went many times to this computer and never was anyone else there. That saved me as I left my power cord at home! Across the street is the Copper Kettle restaurant. It has a senior menu too. There is a shuttle to the airport about once an hour. Its so close you could walk too if you dont have a lot of bags. The highway goes right by but no highway noise. I had no complaints here for a three day stay.

    5
    « Great stay »

Stayed Over-nite before going to airport, they made it easy and comfortable and clean. Hotel is located very close to airport very convenient. I would look forward to staying again. Staff friendly and helpful.

    3
    « OK Motel »

Standard motel; clean and efficient. Short walk from terminal if you'd rather not rely on the shuttle. Backs up to the freeway, so a room on the front is preferable. Another time I might try the slightly pricier Best Western Vista across the street.

« Nice place to stay »

We made a last minute trip to Boise and this was the only Best Western that had a room left. Even though the exterior doesn't look like a fancy place to stay, the staff was friendly and efficient while checking us in. The room was standard, but comfortable and served the purpose of our stay. I would stay here again.

    5
    « long drive »

it was easy to find and comfortable. You get what you pay for even tho it may not look like a bestwestern. The staff is excellent and the front desk has the best attitude for the job. Just looking to sleep and shower? i suggest booking this hotel

    « Room was disappointing »

We recently stayed at the Best Western Airport Inn in Boise, Idaho. We selected this hotel because we were travelling with our dogs and needed a pet friendly hotel. Best Western usually has not let us down and we had stayed at the property across Vista Avenue, the Best Western Vista Inn at the Airport, which offered a comfortable room with a decent pet area, although visitors had thrown trash on the lawn. We thought we would give the Airport Inn a try. Once we entered the room, one of our dogs immediately found a piece of likely dog food, which she quickly consumed before I could get it from her. I was shocked that it was evident that the room had not been properly cleaned. We also noticed that the room seemed somewhat dated, but that was not much of a surprise as it was designated a pet friendly room. The lawn area was littered and people had not picked up after their dogs. We found dog poop as well as a lot of cigarette butts all over the lawn area. We also experienced that the key card reader started to fail. At this point, wanting to also get some hot tea from the lobby, I mentioned these issues to the night clerk. In all fairness, I believe that the clerk did change the batteries in the key card reader as it was more responsive the next morning. However, the hot water was not even at room temperature and he suggested that I should use a microwave or that he could brew hot water. The sleep quality in the room was not too bad. However, the walls are very thin, so the room was noisy. The next morning, I was looking forward to a nice shower. The bath room fixtures were worn out. The water pressure was barely sufficient to rinse off. The temperature indicator misled that red was actually cold and blue was actually hot. The shower head did not pray properly and it appeared to be ready to fall off the wall. The toilet tissue was single ply paper thin - I would think that a Best Western would at least place two-ply tissue in their rooms when a guest pays $98 per night. The ceiling in the bathroom had paint peeling, the door frame looked as though a small animal had tried to claw its way out of a death trap and the bathroom ceiling had a nice spider web with a dead fly, staring at me. I mentioned this to the morning clerk, who took notes and offered 1000 reward points, which have yet to show up in my loyalty program. She did ask whether I would rate the breakfast a "9" and while the food was adequate, there was little variety and the breakfast seating area was very small. I will attempt to contact Best Western to seek a remedy as this property was not up to Best Western standards.

    3
« This location is average »

This is a fine location. The staff is helpful and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is above average as a continental breakfast with hot food and a variety of sandwiches and breakfast Burritos that can be warmed in the microwave however it is lightly overpriced for what it offers compared to the Best Western Vista inn across the street. They advertise as having an onsite restaurant however the restaurant is across the street at the Vista inn. If you wanted an outside pool in the summer this would be the location to go to vs the Vista Inn however the Vista inn offers an indoor pool year round along with a nice Business center, Reliable Internet an indoor meeting area and wonderful staff. All for about $10 a night less than this location. Plus its not right next to the highway. Again to me it is a matter of value for your money I do not paying more to get less.

    5
« Great Place to Stay »

Best Western Airport in Boise is a no frills motel that gives an excellent value for the price. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I would absolutely stay there again if I ever need to return to Boise.

    2
    « Disappointed »

Disappointed in the Quality of the Room and Breakfast. 3rd Best Western in 3 Days and this one did not come close to the standards of previous BW's. It's worth it to pay a few dollars more for another hotel. The staff were courteous and professional but the Physical Hotel quality was not.

    « DON'T STAY HERE »

Old worn out rooms Non-Smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke No elevator for older guest No electrical outlet near bed for personal equipment During check in, the desk clerk was on and off the phone while attempting to wait on me. Assigned the wrong room. I reserved a double and room was a single. After going back downstairs, was assigned double room that REEKRD of cigarette smoke, even though the door placard stated "Nonsmoking Room". Clerk offered an air freshner and a "live with it" attitude. By morning, my clothes smelled like cigarette smoke. UGH!

    3
« The room was sufficient »

Our room was clean and everything worked. No street noise, just the noise you'd expect from an in-wall heating/cooling system. Bed was pretty hard, but sheets were clean and there were plenty of pillows. Wifi was slow, but it was free and did handle our several devices. Front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. We left early so missed their included breakfast.

Breakfast not what I expected and had trouble with the door key. Coffee in the room was not very good. Door to room needed to have weather stripping fixed so the cold outside air was coming into the room.

« Better than its name »

I was leery of this hotel, kinda because of the name and also because of my last stay at Best Western in Apache Junction, Az. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and nice. Checkout was inside, not outside via a small window. The tub was a regular size tub, not like the spa tub in Apache Junction that a 5' tall person could not fit in. I was able to get in relax and not have my legs up out of the water because I didn't fit. Breakfast was a nice variety and had breakfast burritos also. Even though it is by the airport I very rarely heard the planes fly overhead.

    « Smokers paradise :( »

Checked in to this best western thinking we would be getting the normal quality this brand represents. After unpacking and getting to sleep we notice the smell of stale cigarettes really start to sink in. Stepping outside to make sure that in fact the door says we were in a NON-smoking room I noticed that this clearly labeled non-smoking room is surrounded on all sides by SMOKING rooms. Not sure who thought that one through. A tip to the manager... Smoke travels very easily through wood frame construction. The motel is a throwback to a 1980s dive motel that should cost 39.99. Don't be fooled!

« Nice stay but had dog poop in our room. »

The hotel was great, it looked like it was recently rennovated, close to the airport and there is highway right across the back, being close to the airport and highway was not a problem for us because it wasn't loud to keep s awake. When we checked into our room it was nice but after looking around we found dog poop right under the chair, the good first impression of the hotel just went off the roof for us. We contacted the front desk and they advised us not to clean because the manager would come and look at it, and then the wait began for the manager to arrive. After the manager didn't show up we decided to leave for dinner but when we got back the poop had been taken care of.

« Clean, quiet, great location »

Thoroughly appreciated my stay at the Best Western across from the airport. It was quiet (didn't hear one airplane) & very clean. I had a non-smoking room which smelled perfectly free of cigs etc & the bed was comfy & big. I was able to get checked in quickly which allowed me to wind down in my room after a long day of driving. The next morning breakfast wasn't perfect but was quick & easy for sure w/ fresh coffee. Checkout was quick & I was back on the road first thing the next morning for another day of driving. :) Staff were friendly & fast & stay was great!

    « Nice, well-priced hotel with direct-access doors »

Nice hotel, just off the interstate and next to the airport. Good-sized room with adequate countertop at the sink, a fridge, microwave, and all the usual amenities. Best of all was the back-to-the-door convenience. Quiet, plus a room fan that can be set to run continuously. Staff was particularly welcoming and helpful.

« Two Beat Westerns! Be careful... »

Don't get confused like we did. The Best Western Vista Inn is 100 yards from this hotel. It is much nicer. A lot of people get them mixed up and they will not let you cancel your reservation if you gave them a credit card. (Probably different owners). It was marginal, clean but dated. Tune bathroom. Entrance to each room from the street. Ewwwww. Tiny old fashioned motel, but you could feasibly walk to the airport. Shuttles in the half hour...sun very convenient. But go to the VISTA Best Western for 10-20 bucks more.

    3
    « great staff »

staff were great, cleaning folks were good. Room a bit run down and I had unfortunate luck of being put on side of the building against the freeway. Noise level not too bad but if light sleeper it would bother you. Convenient location.

« Nice Staff and Clean Rooms »

Quick one night stay to catch an early morning flight. Very pleasant and helpful staff and the rooms are very clean. Quiet enough for a property with exterior room entrances that is right by the freeway. Nice TV channel selections and the WiFi tested at 26 Mbps down and 1.41 Mbps up. There is some minor wear and tear but nothing major and it is clear that they are keeping the property and rooms up to date. Only thing missing was that my room had a mini-fridge but no microwave as stated on my reservation.

    « good budget-friendly place to stay »

I stay at Best Westerns semi-regularly. This property is similar to others in the $80-100 night range (Monday, non-holiday). Very, very close to the airport?.free shuttle (upon request). Outdoor was being (re)painted?and unfortunately, as is common with more and more hotels, guests are unaware of this until arrival and see a sign in the lobby (i.e. not mentioned on websites). Here for pleasure, and just one night, so fine for that comfort. Doors are ?motel? style- meaning they open to the outdoors (no hallways). There is first or second floor options. I opted for first floor, to be near my vehicle. . Bedding was nice and bed was comfortable (king), with round table with two chairs. Only thing I didn't care for was at this property, not a lot of plugs for electronics?.this is hit and miss at BWs in my opinion. Room had a bathtub/shower combo and it and the toilet share a room with door, which separates the sink to be with the ?bedroom.? While the bathtub looked older, it worked well and the plug worked like a charm. In my bathroom there was an attached laundry string which came in handy. Towels were ok BW issue towels. Did not use the TV, so no comment available. The staff was polite, interesting and engaging?.including check-in, breakfast, when requested shaving cream, and at checkout. Wi-Fi was free and they provide password on key jacket/sleeve and in the guide in bedroom. Breakfast was fine?good bananas and red apples?orange juice and apple juice, coffee, decaf and hot water (for tea and oatmeal), chilled yogurt, (milk??can remember), assorted fruit danishes, heat (in microwave) sausage muffin and some type of burrito, 3 different dry cereals, pancake batter (regular or strawberry) in which you make your own (four palm-size individual) waffles with maker, syrup and fruit and butter for topping. Do request room that doesn't face the freeway (Interstate), ask for room that faces airport road. Would stay here again if opportunity presents itself.

This is a nice hotel. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. At every encounter I was being asked if there was anything I needed to make my stay more comfortable. We stayed for a second time at this location in Boise because it was convenient for our travel plans, but also because it was so good the first time.
