"Amazing hotel in Bogota"

I had to come for a check and was booked by the Clinic that would treat me , and to surprise it a nice clean and cozy hotel either for business or for pleasure with great service and with a staff that gives amazing service beyond there call of duty just to make you comfortable. I have to give thanks to them all and a special thanks to Miss. Fajardo.

In their website they said there will be complementary coffee in the room, when I asked about it the receptionist told me I have to come down for """more""" (???). I went down, but I told him I never got the complementary ones stated in their website and also welcoming guide - he said there was nobody who can help me with that. What a shame. On top of that there was only one towel for two people, I asked him for a second one and the receptionist said he will write it down. Well, then, here I am writing something down too. I paid in advance so I guess I will have to stay for the rest of my trip but I would never ever come back nor I'll recommend it.

"Great place for a business trip"

I stayed here from Sunday to Monday. Both the neighborhood and the hotel were quiet and peaceful, allowing me to work from arrival until nighttime. Staff were incredibly friendly and supportive, especially given that I was quite stressed with work. There is no restaurant service available on Sunday but the receptionist had a few phone numbers of restaurants that did delivery. The hotel breakfast only offers filter coffee, and that would be my only minor point of criticism. The staff kindly guided me towards the nearest Juan Valdez coffee shop, which was a short walk away. Lunch (salmon) was delicious and they had a fantastic driver service, making sure I got to all my meetings and finally to the airport. The building is modern, the room was spacious with a good layout, and overall impeccable. I would definitely come back here anytime.

"Good hotel"

The hotel is good, Good location (North), good service, nice people, clean space. I really enjoy my time in there, also they have confortable bed and pillows. Close to Reina Sofia Clinic. You can have free breadfast, what is so good if you have to work early in the mornig. Also you can get food so close and the Trasmilenio station is to blocks aways.

"New hotel, great location"

This is a small hotel with great location if you are doing business in the north of the city, they have free breakfast buffet (limited, but ok) Rooms are ok, I changed my to a large one and that's a big difference. A lot of people use this hotel to visit the Reina Sofia Clinic, I asked them

"Quite, good location, good breakfast"

I went the weekend of march 24th thru 26. I chose it cause I drove from armenia and they offer parking service for free. Also because of the location, which is close to stereopicnic l, the festival I went to that weekend. The service is good (not the best), the cleanness is very good, the building is fairly new and the breakfast included is very good also. The value you get for the price you pay is fair. If you plan to visit to go to local attractions I do not recommend it cause it is far from most of the visited places, otherwise I do recommend it.

"Caution : Stay away of this hotel"

This is the worst experience I have ever had in my traveler life! I chose this hotel based on its location and trusting it was part of the Best Western chain. They don't have any qualify personnel to serve you with the basic hotel standards. The security man is the same receptionist, reservations manager, waiter and probably room cleaning service. No soap in the bathroom. Our first night was a nightmare. The alarms of the cars parked close by the hotel are a permanent concert. Then later, the alarms of the homes which surround the hotel joined the party. At six in the morning, the housekeepers started to scream each other in the hallway without any respect for their guests. We called the reception desk and the man said, he will tell them to be quieter. On the contrary, their tone was higher after our requirement. Breakfast, was horrible! They serve little pieces of fruit, cheese, bread, you feel you are in Costco getting samples of the food. Next day, we asked for two additional towels and the same man said, he couldn't send them because I already had two and the hotel has a Green-type policy. I explained I needed two more for my hair and my daughter's. He rejected to serve me. I was angry and asked him to have my check out ready. He was so pleased to do it. He never apologized or tried to please a customer. Of course, I couldn't complain to a manager, because he said he was the manager. Yes, this story sounds funny, but it is real! Extremely expensive for the poor service they deliver! I always go to a very nice hotel called Parque 97 suites, but I learned they had a construction project nearby, so I wanted to try this Best Western option. I really regret my decision. Of course, after this experience at Calleja Suites, I went to my previous hotel where I enjoyed two weeks of the best experience ever.

"Nice hotel "

Nice spacious clean rooms. Continental breakfast included. Good value and good location in Usaquen. This was my second time there. Staff is friendly and provide car service anywhere you need to go. Room service is available.

"Perfect to stay while business trip"

This Hotel is completely fine for peoble who are coming in Bogota for business. It does not have any charming thing, but rooms are big, clean, quiet. Staff is fine as well. The breakfast is more or less "international" , eggs, fruits, cereals from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The hotel is well located niot in the center of the business district but not that far, even if you can't get there walking, but with bus or taxi. The terrasse is very cool, but absolutly not arranged, there is nothing properly on the roof.

"As good as the pictures"

This is a small, out of the way hotel that hardly looks like a hotel on the outside. In fact, it would be easy to miss is. Traffic is terrible here as it is in much of Bogota. They have a parking garage, but we just took taxis all week. Our bed and our room was very comfortable. There were a few small issues that Americans might not be used to. First, there is a coffee pot in your room but you have to bring your own coffee pods. Also, no coffee cups in your room. You have to ask for those. It took a while to get used to the fact that they don't provide bottled water because the water in Bogota is clean and drinkable right out of the faucet. The shower overflowed onto the bathroom floor. Toilet didn't flush well - took two flushes even with just urine. But the room was very clean, very big, the WiFi worked very well. It was a very nice King Sized bed - and the room looked the same as the pictures on the website. But the best thing was the cost. Less than $55 US per night for the Jr. Suite. We booked through but they don't take payment - you pay at the Hotel. But the cost at the hotel turned out to be even less than what we were quoted through We will stay here again when we come back to Bogota. The breakfast was the greater disappointment. It was just OK. They may check the room once and a while and then you can get coffee. Not great choices and usually out of the hot food like scrambled eggs. Twice we had to go to the front desk to get them to come out because the people who work in that areas stay back in the prep room and don't come out. We were out of dishes to even eat on at one point. Maybe that is common in Colombia, but by American standards this would have been substandard.
