"Not worth saving a few dollars"
Jennifer F, 23 Mars 2024

We booked this hotel for one night to catch some sleep on a long driving trip. We knew this was a budget motel and expected it to be no frills. But since it had the Best Western name on it, we also expected it to be clean and in working order with competent staff. However, it was none of those things. The air conditioning unit was broken and never fixed. The water in the room was brown/yellow out of the tap and the drinking water in the lobby ran out and was not refilled. The room was dank, musty and overly warm; without a working air unit, we could not improve that. The front desk staff's answer to all our complaints was, "We'll notify maintenance." "Maintenance" never materialized. This stay has eroded my trust in the Best Western brand. Next hotel stay, I will look elsewhere even if I have to pay more.

"Best vale for your money"
rktwins, 23 Février 2024

It is so conveniently located and has a beautiful layout with gorgeous palm trees. Perfect for a quick stop. Easy access off the freeway and plenty of choices for food. Very friendly and caring staff who ensured that all the needs were met.

"Could be better"
awendy320, 19 Février 2024

Great location! Unfortunately hotel has multiple issues. Floors not vacuumed, internet not working, no Ice. Pool not working. Most of the rooms are not occupiable due to I'm assuming poor upkeep. Tarps on roof signifying theres roof damage not being repaired.

"Not recommended at all"
IRENE S, 11 Février 2024

One of the worst places we've stayed at ever. The only thing clean in the room was a bed and tables. Bedside lamps were unplugged when we arrived so had to pull back the mattress to plug them into the only plug available. Was disgusted with the dirt back there which included what looked like mouse droppings. Breakfast included is advertised nonexistent. The young lady at the desk was very pleasant and apologetic even though it wasn't her fault. Best Western needs to do better than this!

"The worst place to stay.."
marcaj01, 02 Février 2024

Do not stay at this place in Blythe, keep driving. They offered nothing, & believe me , you got nothing. Except out $100.00...Pulling up we should have know & turned around & left, but we were tired from the long drive

"“UN - Sure Stay”"
ttoshea, 01 Février 2024

Easy access but otherwise very disappointing. The initial person at the front desk was very kind but after that not so much. NO breakfast available and when we asked about it at the front desk, the person said that “that” was all there was and it was early in the morning - 8 AM and there was virtually no food left. The beds were ok but the bathroom and the closet were small. We will avoid “Sure Stay” in the future.

This was a last minute reservation that we had called for and will put at this hotel by the number that I had found on the internet it was not a terrible location but it was not a good location we were greeted gracefully by the receptionist checked in asked about breakfast they said it was accommodated in the morning ask about the swimming pool because that's taking he had asked about when we made the reservation they said the swimming pool was closed due to maintenance which I would have appreciated then letting us know that before I had told everybody in the family to bring their swimming stuff and we were anxious to get into the jacuzzi after a long drive. In the morning when we got up to go have breakfast we were so looking forward to sitting down and having some warm waffles and delicious eggs and bacon while not so no waffles no toast no Bagels only one orange and a couple apples no juice no milk only coffee that they said tasted like mud I don't drink coffee and some water eggs were tasting like powder bacon or sausage or just okay hash browns were good sometimes they did have yogurt butter in the refrigerator for no toast the eating area was very dusty needed a good cleaning receptionist was not easily found due to needing to be in the back making the food as I sat in there waiting for food to be made people were getting frustrated that they were not treated by anybody at the desk also did ask about the toast and they said that they had ordered it it just got came in but there is a market down the street that somebody could have went and bought a loaf of bread it wasn't like there was a lot of us the bedrooms were just okay needed a good cleaning stuff behind the dressers no plug for the sink sink dripped internet very bad they give you a password for the Wi-Fi but you can't even get into Wi-Fi my husband said the only thing good about this day was the comfortable bed and the hot showers.

"Dirty room, no internet, and only bacon"
alwaystraveling2024, 15 Janvier 2024

I understand that this is a low end motel and set my expectations accordingly. That said, I expect a clean room and food if breakfast is included. The room was dirty. Trash on the floor. Arrived at start of breakfast. Virtually no food except bacon and coffee. I asked about other items and they said they would look on the fridge. No additional food was put out. Also, internet signal was weak in room. No devices could connect. Will not stay here again.

Worse service of any best western we've had. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Rooms and breakfast not as shown in pictures. Room temp. was 125 degrees. We will never stay here again even if it was for FREE.

"Dead and alive Bugs on bed"
ikandi2937, 01 Août 2023

Service was bad, the Ace was off upon entering are room, it was extremely hot inside. One set of towels with multiple guest inside. Their were dead and alive bugs on the bed and on the floor in the bathroom. Also no phone in the room to contact front desk.

"Mixed Experience"
Michael M, 26 Juillet 2023

Excellent reception and housekeeping, the room was immaculate, my stay was quiet. However, having noted the positives, I must remark on the negatives. It had been a few years since my last stay at this BW/Sure Stay. It has deteriorated. On a 116 degree day there was no working ice machine (one machine had been removed, the other was behind the padlocked gate to the pool--which was closed for repair. The bathroom provided a single bath towel, a single face towel, and a single wash cloth.

"Best Western...you have tarnished your name"
25davem, 27 Juin 2023

Check in was fast friendly. The front lobby was sparse. No water in water cooler, looked cold and old. Room was clean, bed comfy, bathroom had one towel bare walls faucet leaks, shower curtain from 1970. Tv nice good channels. Micro, fridge, coffee maker. Old dated rooms. Pool pics on site looked great. Pool is green full of debris, hot tub not functional. This hotel needs money or walk away. This hotel does not meet Best Western sure stay standards, not even close. The layout palm trees, potential is there to be a great place, its just not there.

"Just O.K."
BlackRoseCher, 07 Juin 2023

Room was nice. Nothing extra special. Pool was dirty. Jacuzzi was not functional. Looked like it hasn't been for awhile. No ice machines where they said they were supposed to be. Had to go to office to get ice. Grounds needed up keeping . A lot of trash around. Breakfast was less desirable. Very minimal. No bread. No one was eating there when we arrived. I see why.

"Do not go there , the price was much to high for this hotel !"
Z4716LZjohnb, 19 Mai 2023

Except the housekeeping everybody was not really nice or helpful . The room was clean . The pool water was green and dirty, the hot tub was under construction. Also the “ full “ breakfast, only coffee and a muffin, the next day there was a rubber egg, not to eat we think.

"Worst Best Western motel ever! Not worth the money and we'll never be back!"
AeroBlackwell, 09 Mai 2023

This is one of the worst motels (yes, really) I've been in for a very long time. Not only is there false advertising with the pictures, but there are no real queen beds being offered and instead just doubles (we measured and asked the lady at the front desk). I went with my parents (I'm an adult and well into my twenties) and my dad had paid for two queen-sized beds for $144. We were expecting the rooms in the pictures on the rooms had been updated while some had not. It was completely false advertising because the entire motel needs a complete overhaul. The night we checked in May 7th, the machine for heating things up was functioning properly (according to the lady at the front desk when we first arrived). But the next morning, we walked over and came to find out that the machine was actually broken. There were no boiled eggs, cereal, or even milk set out. Just a stash of packaged blueberry muffins, two pots of bitter (and disgusting) coffee, and creamer from pump bottles with a few sugar packets. There was no cereal, milk, hot water, fruit, or even plastic spoons or paper bowls available (just in case someone wanted to make oatmeal in the motel room). It was literally one of the worst breakfasts I had ever seen, and that includes a motel in Las Vegas, NM, which was $50 a night years ago. And we'd paid $144 for a night here! Inside the room, we were missing basic amenities that are provided at every hotel/motel like bar soap and we were short on linens. Like I said before, there is false advertising online, showing hotel rooms that are updated (and none of them are according to the staff). We booked a room with supposedly two queen-sized beds, but both were doubles (and that was confirmed by the staff that doubles was all they had available and that we'd paid extra for no reason). Since there were three people in the room, my parents had to squeeze onto a double bed and it was a very tight fit despite them being quite thin. The cleaning chemicals were so strong that my mom felt so sick when she first entered the room, which is unusual for a room that looked dirty. For the bathroom, aside from the floor being very filthy in appearance, the shower curtain was inside out and the side that's supposed to face out had lots of mildew on it. There is something wrong with the temperature output for the water since a slight turn towards hot makes it scalding. My mom likes hot showers, but not to the point that a child's skin would get third-degree burns! It was literally that dangerous. Even the water from the tap got extremely hot insanely fast. I burnt my hands a couple times. The room next to ours was left open for most likely the entire day and no one shut it until we got there. My mom was very concerned that something had happened, but apparently the staff didn't shut the door hard enough when they finished cleaning the room that morning and the wind blew it open sometime afterwards. I've never seen that before. It was amazing how little the housekeeping staff seemed to care about the rooms! Finally, we heard from one of the staff that the owner is an extreme cheapskate and does not allow the workers to share their "horror stories" working there, including a woman who's been there for nearly two decades. This owner (now having owned the SureStay Best Western in Blythe for three years) will not listen to any of the complaints of the guests and refuses to do the basics that are necessary for customer satisfaction. It is extremely concerning, and we will definitely not be going back! It's such a shame this motel has the Best Western name because it totally downgrades the quality we've always had with this company.

"Classic Motor Inn from 1970's"
cwo5nme, 13 Avril 2023

This is an older motel built in a U shape with a parking area that mimics the layout, with a central island containing pool and picnic area. Quiet, relatively inexpensive, it had great parking options for those oversized vehicles or trucks with haulers. Pet friendly without a large deposit - $15 a night.

"Dirtiest Hotel Ever"
113kanj, 01 Février 2023

This hotel was the dirtiest hotel I ever seen. I dirty towel and a dirty floor mat. Chucks of dirt on floor and the bathtub was very dirty. The sheets were questionable. The bedskirt torn. The only reason we didn't leave was there was no cancellation fee. We could also hear the conversation in the next room.

"SureStay Hotel By Best Western Blythe"
rpolen44, 29 Janvier 2023

What is fooled by it saying it was a Best Western the linen was dingy the room smelled horrible and we're not clean the hotel as a whole is a shambles. The employees working in the front office were very apologetic and knew of all the problems from past guess complaints.

"I know a queen bed when I see one, but that's not one."
tessanaustin, 24 Janvier 2023

Booked a room with 2 queen beds for 3 adults, but room had 2 double beds. The young guy at check in tried to do what he could, but girl at check out was argumentative that they were queen beds. I have a queen at home so I know for a fact those beds weren't queens. Full breakfast claimed, but wasn't even half breakfast. Stain on sheet.

"Wonderful Bed & Bedding."
Roam1747, 23 Janvier 2023

Great bed. I always bring earplugs in case noisy neighbors (as usual). Can't count on a time for breakfast and average minimal food. One coffee pot which takes a while to have desk emp get started. Employees nice but better management needed.

"But...."
Rollo P, 19 Janvier 2023

I love the BestWestern brand and try to book when possible and when their rates are competitive. The Blythe location has some good and some not-so-good points. The rooms are clean and in very to excellent shape (carpets, walls, bathrooms). Pretty quiet, nice beds and can park in front of room. But, there were some smaller things that needed attention The Free breakfast was served at 8a - much too late for us. There was no working fan in the bathroom, nor soap (we had to ask). The shampoo dispenser was empty. The staff at the front desk was excellent when we had questions (or needed soap or ice). They get an A. I was not so disappointed that I wouldn't try this spot again.

"Very Bad"
majidfahrtosh, 01 Décembre 2022

While walking, the carpet floor was dirty and something was stuffed under his feet. The surroundings were very dirty and I saw many yellow and brown marks and I could not take a shower. There was an epoxy carpet nail in front of the bathroom door, which is good for you. Most of the people staying there start their work early in the morning and you serve breakfast at 8:30am and that doesn't make sense, you include breakfast in the room rate and at 8:30am 95 % of guests have already left. I am a government employee and the government pays for the room and breakfast, and I had to buy breakfast again, and this cost should be paid by the government and those who pay taxes.

"Nice COOL stay"
Dolores G, 28 Juillet 2022

A very hot get away turned out to be a very cool stay at SureStay in Blythe. From arrival to departsure, it was a cool welcoming experience. The personnel made us feel safe and comfortable. Thank you.

"Inaccurate Images & No Breakfast"
mgarcia5845, 27 Juin 2022

Property desperately needs updating. Online Images Are Not True To Actually rooms. Rooms are a patch work. No value in staying here. Everything is old and ripped. Pool is empty. Not recommend at all..

"Comfort and Clean"
Evia H, 26 Juin 2022

Nice big rooms with a very comfortable bed and quiet. Nice pool and sauna that we unitized and enjoyed. They did not have any spa services available at the time we went which was the only disappointment \\.

"Bad location, mispresented on the website - Stay elsewhere"
davidfK4466QD, 10 Mai 2022

We checked in by an out of touch attendant, and proceeded to our room. It was terrible, not anything like the website pictures. We said to ourselves, "we are not staying here", and got in our car and found another hotel. I doubt breakfast was served since the lobby was a shambles.

"Always stay here when rooms available"
Ileen J, 22 Avril 2022

Friendly professional staff. Crystal was helpful explaining the road closure nearby. Older property well kept. Room neat and clean. Only coffee and granola bars offered at breakfast. Seems there was a delivery or order issue.

"Terrible - skip this one"
mckinzief2019, 19 Avril 2022

This is a $50 room per night at most. When we arrived (late arrival), the attendant was very friendly. Advised that breakfast would be available from 6 to 9. We got to our room - sheets were stained or torn, bathroom was dirty, full of bugs (spiders and mosquitos). We arrived too late to change hotels so we stayed. We woke up with bites all over our arms and faces. Checked out early (6:30 am). No breakfast available. No working ice machine on the premises (as advertised). I did a lot of digging to find a decently priced, nice-looking hotel and this was not as advertised. Will not be staying here again. It's a good thing that we stayed at a nice Best Western the next night or I would avoid the brand altogether. I should add that I got a reservation confirmation for a future date about 30 minutes after we left. I had to call corporate to make sure that it was cancelled.

"At Least The Internet Works"
pmmonke, 10 Avril 2022

First room was extremely dirty, filthy used towels and washcloths in the bathtub, used cup on the sink, bed sheets not changed, I won't describe them. Microwave and refrigerator had crusted food in them. Nice front desk girl apologized and move us. Second room had no towels, she apologized again saying they only had 1 working washer but try to put 1 towel in each room. Still crusted food in fridge and microwave, but this room was clean. Sheets had hole in them but they were clean. The access to this place is closed off the main road so you have to use side roads, but there is plenty off food option close by, and the internet works. It is NOT worth the price though!

"Comfortable and Clean Stay"
Mary J, 05 Avril 2022

We were pleased staying at this hotel. The room was clean, front desk person was friendly and we felt safe. We definitely would stay here again. There was road construction in front of the hotel so we had to take a small detour, but the hotel was well lit.

"Would NOT recommend"
eos790, 16 Mars 2022

Best Western should be ashamed to be associated with this motel. it's currently very hard to get into because of road construction. Also, this town is pretty sketchy. If I had known that before reserving this room, we would not have stayed in Blythe, but there really aren't many options in this general area. Homeless people all over this area. The grounds to the motel did appear clean though. Upon check-in, the young lady clerk did not say one word to me, no greeting of any kind. Very poor customer service. We were given a room in the corner, it was a quiet location. The room was very dim, poor lighting and seemed dingy. Furnishings had normal wear and tear and could use upgrading. There was a used washcloth left in the shower. There was no hairdryer. I had to go to the office with wet hair to get a hair dryer. I had tried calling the office (on my cell phone, as there is NO phone in the room) and there was no answer, it just rang and rang. When I went to the office, the clerk was behind the desk, not sure why she didn't answer the phone. She said we should have a hairdryer, did I not check on the shelf in the closet. I said no, I didn't (why would we think to look in a closet for a hairdryer??) so she said she'd just give me one from the office in case there wasn't one in the room (there wasn't). I tried calling again later when my mom pulled back the covers of her bed to find coffee stains and crumbs of food in the bed. Again, no answer. It was dark by this time and we did not feel safe leaving the room, so my mom just slept in an obviously not cleaned bed. Breakfast was microwaveable frozen breakfast sandwiches and packets of oatmeal. When I went to get coffee in the morning, past 7 am, there was none made and there were 2 other guests in there for the same thing. The guest asked the clerk if there was going to be coffee made, and the clerk had an attitude as if though she was being interrupted, stated yes, I just haven't made it yet. So she started the pot of coffee which took over 10 min to brew. Meanwhile, guests are waiting to get their coffee and hit the road. Check out was not any friendlier. Was not asked how our stay was, and what's the point at that point of bringing anything up? Just pick a different motel.

"Hygiene not important and staff unresponsive at this Best Western property"
698dickm, 08 Février 2022

If this place has been renovated it was done by Attila the Hun. People walking about in the middle of the night checking for valuables in cars in the guest parking area. No staff on duty? The tub held about 4” of less-than-clean water and wouldn't drain. I discovered this in the morning and, since I wouldn't slosh around in undrained waste water, I didn't get a shower that morning. Staff said, “Sorry.” You'll be better off elsewhere. Don't waste your money here.

"They are working at doing better"
caderaita2021, 16 Décembre 2021

We could tell they are working at making improvements. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and they do good at keeping the outside hotel grounds picked up. A storm came through that night blowing some of the palm branches down into the parking. I saw them at about 6:00am when we left at 8:00 am you would have never known they had been there. The beds were comfortable but the linens, for the beds & bathroom need to be replaced. Also some better cleaning on the room. I might give them a year to finish renovations before I'd try them again however, I'd go check the room before I'd rent it again. Being a Best Western my sister & I were both surprised.

"Shocking state of hotel rooms!"
C7067PUlauraf, 29 Novembre 2021

Rooms were not checked by staff to ensure they were ready during hotel renovation so were sent to 3 rooms. First room looked ransacked with furniture completely disassembled & tools everywhere. Never made into 2nd room because it had a broken main light switch. Third room had a broken TV and phone with non-functioning coffee maker and fridge, missing picture frames, no toiletries, massive renovation dust in the drawers and sharp exposed rusted screws and bolts in the bathroom that were dangerous to the cat staying with us in hotel but we were so tired from our journey and could not book another hotel at the last minute so we accepted the third room simply because it had a clean bed. Also we were scared by this time to see what a 4th room would look like given our experience with the hotel thus far. We were still charged full price for the room including cat rent despite shocking and acceptable state of room during renovation and inconvenience in being sent to checkin 3 times at front desk.

"Gross dirty room"
elizabethlainebo2021, 15 Novembre 2021

Skip this waste of money. I'm glad I had my own towels and bedding though I didn't use the nasty shower, And I'll probably burn my bedding. Floor was nasty, bedding stained, towels.. unsure of status but if I wasn't traveling and dead tired I would have moved on immediately

"Don't Stay Here"
azlarkolee, 07 Novembre 2021

More than half of the room were occupied by some sort of construction crew. They made a ton of noise at 5:00 as they ate up all the breakfast foods and got into trucks to leave. Consequently, the soda machines were empty, the AM breakfast did not have anything fresh or hot. After the crew left all I could find were packaged foods and old coffee.

"Need to Update Rooms"
Yvonne G, 30 Octobre 2021

The pool was closed. The ice machine was broken. Bed was clean and comfortable, The bathroom looked scary. Dirt along the floor boards, tiny. Carpet dirty, We cancelled a return trip and went to Hilton inside for LESS dollars.

"Beyond words"
Jos P, 05 Octobre 2021

Room was clean but smelled like urine and mildew. As if squatters had been living in there for sometime. Can't even breathe when you walk in all the toxins and fumes. Just disgusted by this place. Would like to hear what the owners will be doing about this.

"Great value for your money"
donmorta, 31 Juillet 2021

I stay there over a month for work. They clean your room everyday have friendly staff and great value for your money. + walking distance from a lot of restaurants. I'd definitely recommend this place for a long or short stay in Blythe.

"Disgusting is the word of the day!"
sdegaine1, 19 Mai 2021

It is the only word that describes this “hotel”. Best Western should be ashamed of itself for attaching their brand to this place. Filthy room, disgusting dirty floor in the bathroom, towels with someone else's hair and stains, empty jacuzzi, green cloudy pool, signs everywhere that the place is under construction, as if that excuses how dirty everything is. It would have been nice if the booking link on the BW app said it was under construction as I would have booked elsewhere. Shame on you Best Western!

"The place is a mess."
boofdoggydog, 04 Mai 2021

Despite representations by management/owner that the pool and spa were in working condition when we booked they were not. The pool was green with algae and the spa was inoperable. There was almost no breakfast and they made one pot of coffee at a time for the entire population of the motel. The staff was friendly and the service to the room was good but the facilities are overall just not acceptable. I do not suggest you stay there.

"Yikes!"
Zio37, 02 Mai 2021

This facility is run down and our room was filthy. The carpet and bedding were badly stained. Bathroom floor and counters were dirty; walls and furnishings showing damage throughout. We couldn't wait to get out of there. I assumed that a Best Western hotel at this price would provide decent accommodations. I was wrong.

"So disappointed"
tianalovullo, 15 Avril 2021

Our family always chooses to stay at Best Western no matter our location. This particular location was repulsive. We will never stay there again. Our sheets were stained, our pillows were discolored and the carpet was so dirty it made our feet black.

"Comfy and Satisfied"
simentalart773, 21 Mars 2021

I love staying at a place where I can rest and be treated right, and this is it. To often you find yourself not knowing where to stay the night regarding cleanliness and level of comfort. Best Western has never failed, I strongly recommend them.

"A good motor inn"
jsheppard2021, 13 Mars 2021

We stayed for three nights while rock hunting near Blythe. Brought the dog. I liked that the hotel is pet friendly. It's single story so no stairs or elevators to deal with, and no people stomping around above you. You can park your vehicle right outside your door for easy loading and unloading. It's clean and located within walking distance to Starbucks and a number of food options. I would stay here again.

"Good Value, No Freeway Noise"
Robert G, 08 Mars 2021

This is the best rate for any BW nearby. it has parking for vehicles with trailers and the area is generally quiet. Staff is great, rooms clean and functional. The grab and go is take what you want. The have a a gated pool but I have never used it. Good food close by, especially excellent Mexican take out right down the street towards the freeway.

"NOT FOLLOWING SAFETY PROTOCOLS"
Southerner456, 11 Février 2021

Stayed there Jan. 10, 2021. The name should be "Best Western SureStay Away." Not wearing masks! One employee was engaged in conversation and blocking the front door entrance—not wearing a mask. Saw me coming and didn't put on a mask—and the young woman at the front desk wasn't wearing a mask, either. I had to ask her to put one on. The “safety barrier” stopped short of where I needed to check in. Not safe for the customer; not safe for the employee. The room was shoddy and worn, toilet a mess, no toilet paper, no internet. And to make matters worse, the next night, while staying at another Best Western—much nicer and very clean—these incredibly itchy welts started to appear on my body. I can not say with certainty that the bites were because of our night at the motel, but the timing did make me wonder. If you have to book at SureStay, ask them when they last fumigated or checked for “critters” to be on the safe side. It's a reasonable question to ask of any establishment. There's a Hampton at the next exit; stay there instead. It's not that much more expensive and they're following safety protocols.

"Filthy"
judyannpierson, 01 Janvier 2021

Mildew in the bathroom, crumbs on the carpet place smelled. If we weren't so tired, we would have left snd gone somewhere else. The lotion provided smell so it was expired. There was only 1/2 roll of toilet paper. Don't stay here!

"Outdated"
76MarinaB0403, 26 Décembre 2020

I want to start with the fact that the front desk ladies didn't have the face masks on (we are in California not some other state that's in denial). The hotel is very outdated: chipped paint, rusted sink and tub, very thin blankets. However, there are a lot of places to eat around, including Starbucks and a bakery for breakfast.

"Blythe"

We had been on the road for 5 days already driving from NC back home to SoCal. We arrived after dark, tred & hungry. The clerk was very helpful about what was open in the area for us to find dinner. Rooms were clean te bathroom was dated but ok. Pool was OPEN !!!

"Do not stay"
listenup6770, 24 Septembre 2020

Room was very dirty and refrigerator and freezer not cleaned or defrosted. There was junk under bed when we dropped something and reached to get it. Bathroom base board had 1/8" of dirt on it. Defiantly would not recommend

"Super nasty! The worst ever!"
javierduartevenom, 21 Septembre 2020

I have the pictures no phone line inside (broken) odor in the room, ice machine super dirty and outside! Pool super greenish and nasty jacuzzi empty and dirty! Brake fast a bag with a water and a bar!

"Dirty and Smelly"
nnazar2020, 14 Septembre 2020

I was shocked that this hotel is linked to Best Western. Bad move for the brand. Don't bother with the breakfast unless you want a sugar rush and coffee from used grounds. The rug was filthy, furniture was torn up, and there was only 1 set of towels for 2 people.

"River Trip Weekend"
MichelleEagle, 03 Août 2020

Last minute trip to the river and we stayed at the Sure Stay Best Western . Easy to reserve, pool open and clean, no noise neighbors, clean room, attentive and friendly staff, close to all places to eat and right across the street from Starbucks. For the type of small hotel it is I was hesitant...but we had no issues and I would stay there again.

"Road trip with Mom"
285scotte, 31 Juillet 2020

Moving mom to CA and a long day of driving stopped here to get rest, eat, and ready for another day. Hotel is a little run down, but things work. Pool was green and not taken care of. Bed was ok but for BW not what I expected. Breakfast was disappointing -coffee and pastry

"Very Nice Hotel"
naudiaesantillan, 26 Mai 2020

I have never booked my own hotel before and I have never been to the area, the hotel website was very easy to navigate and book a nice hotel for me and my partner. I was happy to find lower rates for AAA members as well! The hotel offered free coffe and juice in the office in the mornings as well as a desktop and fax machine for business use. Our was very clean, smelled nice, better than the photos, working fridge, microwave, iron, ac and coffee maker and iron board. The shower and bathroom were clean and spacious. We did only recieve ONE hand towel appon arrival. The following day the sheets were not made up, but trash was taken out and a new set of towels provided. The pool was closed for mataneince but the grill was available to use and ice machine as well. Loved the location near fast food gas, coffee and a few resturaunts and the river. This hotel seemed to be one of the nicer hotels in the area and im glad I went with this one!

"Nice place"
VACA321, 23 Mars 2020

This was a good Hotel. We were exhausted so all we did was nap and sleep the night. There are plenty of places to eat fast food around the hotel. The pool and spa need some attention but it's not summer yet. Quiet place while we were there too.

"DONT BELIEVE 4 CIRCLE RATING!!"
jms50wiley, 13 Mars 2020

My husband and i are Best Western reward card owners. We just spent the last week traveling from San Diego thru Arizona and New Mexico and back. We stayed at 4 Best Westerns this past week and we were⁰ happy to receive our voucher via email for a free night as advertised. And we were super pleased with our room and all the amenities all 4 nights. So our last night traveling we booked SureStay Hotel by Best Westerm in Blythe CA. Looking forward to another nice room, we were disappointed that our room was the old musty smelling room with old furniture, curtains and stained rug. The parking lot was littered with trash and cigarette butts that looked like it had been there for quite some time. And alot of cement work was cracked and broken. The lobby was very small with only a few tables to eat for breakfast. Actually with the chairs sitting on the table top the night before, i preferred to eat in my room. I think Best Western should be ashamed to have this as one of their franchises . I dont know who wrote the previous rating, but they must have been reviewing a different motel. Didnt enjoy our stay and definitely would not recommend this place to anyone else. By the way, I am 70 yrs old and do alot of travelling with my husband. This is first review i have written because of it being a best western motel.

"MLB Spring Training Stay"
prossercharlton, 02 Mars 2020

One of the best experiences I had in a long time. The room was very clean, service was excellent and staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family that are planning trips that are out that way towards Arizona.

"Great Value!"
lapisich, 20 Février 2020

Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Comfortable and quiet room. Floors, bathroom, towels, and bedding were all neat and clean. No black mold or crud in bathroom or tub/shower. Ample, easy parking. Good TV cable and a really good AC unit. Pool area was refreshing with shaded areas and nice tall trees and greenery surrounding it. Breakfast was ample; the fresh fruit much appreciated! Only drawback to the room was windows locked and couldn't open for fresh air as room was overpowered with fragranced sprays/cleaners. Very easy access through town to gas and restaurants. Plus, quick easy on/off access to Highway 10.

"A nice hotel"
653cliffk, 19 Février 2020

Stayed there at the end of January overnight off the highway, it's conveniently located from the interstate. I am best one Western rewards member, in the staff recognized it immediately. The rooms were clean and nice and they had a nice a Continental breakfast in the morning. It has the usual good stuff of make your own waffles sausage scrambled eggs fresh fruit things like that. I have to say I was very pleased at the attention that the staff made to making sure the breakfast food was hot in plentiful and plentiful. The rooms had all the space I couldn't eat and has mini refrigerator coffee maker and TV like all of them but everything was working just fine and very clean. As I said I was impressed with the staff in their willingness to try to help me in any way they could. The Hotel was great and made for a relaxing overnight stay. the other wonderful thing is there's it's a wonderful classical diner across the street but the staff recommended.

"Not a bad place for the middle of the desert"
Beave8920, 03 Février 2020

One night stay - Room 124 - King/Non smoking. Friendly staff upon check in - room ready for an over night stay. Single story facility, free parking directly in front of room. Room/furniture was a bit weathered, but extremely clean. Bed newer and comfy......room had fridge and microwave. Free WiFi. Nice pool and outside sitting area for an evening visit. Basic breakfast items with eggs, bacon and sausage. In my opinion, a very solid 2 star affordable facility with a plus for cleanliness. I've read the previous reviews, but didn't experience any of those things mentioned in the comments. I had clean over sized towels and no noise issues. As a side note, I wasn't particularly impressed with the surrounding neighborhood, but didn't feel unsafe. It was only a block off I-10. Not a strong BW property, but would recommend for the budget minded and would stay again.

"room not made up during stay"
DragonMarsh, 08 Janvier 2020

Had planned for 3-night stay, returned to our room after 1st night Room NOT cleaned. Bed unmade, coffee supplies not replenished, No clean towel in bathroom. Was a Sunday evening about 6:00 pm. Housekeeping unavailable..

"Giant Fail for Best Western Sahara"
Coastal798288, 04 Janvier 2020

Problem stated at check in. Didn't know it at the time because we've been traveling for five hours. Apparently they gave me another customers room ,which was a double bed and I had reserved a king size bed .The walls are paper thin in the guest rooms we could hear the man next door snoring all night. Upon check out, more problems. Estoban (the manager?)tried to help, but he made the error the night I checked in. They insisted I was in a king room, which was a joke. They stuck me in the wrong room and didn't admit to it until I pushed the issue...The other girls at the desk were basically useless and had to call him for everything. The next day at breakfast, I asked the front rest why the bed so small for a king? She lady offered me 10% discount for the inconvenience/ error. When I went to check out, the manager (Estoban) refused to extend the courtesy adjustment because he said I already got a " huge discount" for my room when in fact I paid for the room they put me in ( a queen, not a king). Terrible... We got No sleep at all being in tiny bed and hearing that snoring. My check out took over 40 minutes because Estoban had to come in from home to fix my bill and issue me a credit. Worst experience ever at a Best Western. I know he tried to make it right, but be more careful checking people in. I know I will be more alert to reviewing the paperwork going forward. ( they actually had me sign admitted persons reservation, I didn't notice that until checking out)

"Terrible and nightmare stay"
selvanc2017, 02 Janvier 2020

No good about the stay. The rooms need complete renovation. All the dirty towels and linens must be completely replaced with new. Because we were about to vomit on seeing the towels given to us. The bed spreads/sheets looked pathetic

"Dump"
Janice F, 29 Décembre 2019

This was the worst hotel we have stayed over the years. The doors don't close properly, missing light bulbs, black mold above the entry door, paint peeling, wet carpet in by the door and the list goes on. Best Western has always been such a nice place to stay but not any more.

"Disgusting"
Britnipief4, 28 Décembre 2019

So my mom, sister, dog and I decided to stop here halfway through our trip back into California from Texas. I work at a Best Western in Sonora Ca and this is by far the most disgusting experience I have EVER had. The first room we were assigned,157, smelt old and had white powder sprinkled throughout the whole room. Also two out of the 3 light bulbs in the bathroom were burned out, the sheets look like they had been laid in already and were not even white they were grey. So we kindly asked the front desk for a new room. And that's when I decided to take the pictures... the second room, I think it was 127 or 122, we immediately noticed the white crusted crap on the curtains as well as the bed runner. Oh but then we pulled back the sheets and that's when we noticed the HUGE brownish stain on the sheet. At this point it was almost 10pm at night we had been driving for 10 hours and were ready for bed. We decided to leave and when we went to the front desk to address the situation she was kind and gave me my $20 pet fee back but was NOT sympathetic at all. She didn't ask if there was anything she could do, she never sincerely apologized, and didn't really seem to care about the situation. I'll be calling corporate to get my points back as well as let them know how disgusting this hotel is. As I said previously, I work the front desk at Best Western and this was so very disappointing to see. I wonder to myself how in the world do they pass inspections???? Anyway I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

"$20 Per Pet Per Night Is Not Pet Friendly"
The_TravelingBusters, 05 Décembre 2019

Very nice stay after long drive from Las Cruces, New Mexico. Clean spacious room with comfortable bed. Very nice staff - courteous and professional. Appreciated recommendation for drinks across the street. Good breakfast with spicy mini omelettes. Very good. We will recommend this Best Western Hotel to people who don't travel with pets. $20.00 per pet per night is NOT pet friendly. It's crazy and it's gouging. That's a big deal. That's why only 3 stars. Other than that, everything was good. Jay, Anne, Topeka & Baker

"Best western Blythe ca"
kerry887698, 26 Novembre 2019

It's a decent place, a bit older hotel. But has been fixed up somewhat. Worth what i paid. Room was clean. Towels were a little discolored kinda grayish looking. Never seen that at a hotel b4.maybe got washed with some dark stuff. Who knows.

"Not great at all"
lee h, 05 Novembre 2019

We decided to stop here to break up our journey to San Diego. On arrival we realised all the guests were put in rooms in one area of the hotel. We went to swim but the pool was murky and green. We were then told the pump wasn't working. The room smelt fusty! We got to sleep and then at 3am, they put a new arrival in the room next door. The shouting started shortly after!! The police arrived and then an inspector and the noise continued until sun rise. At breakfast there was no sausage and I was told they had none. There wasn't any butter. The waffle machine was broken. We left straight after our burnt coffee was finished. Don't stay here

"Dirty Hotel. Beware!"
Skigirl1942, 09 Octobre 2019

Bugs on bathroom floor, hair in sink, small amount TP, TV didn't work, given wrong WI-FI password, minimal light bulbs, smoke detector broken!!!! We changed rooms... only 1 TV channel, temperature knob on refrigerator broken. This hotel has had multiple owners recently and doesn't meet BW standards. STAY AWAY!!!

"Traveler Beware!!!"
freqtravy, 07 Août 2019

The online pictures of this dump are a classic example of false advertising. Not surprised at all. It's a common marketing ploy. Pictures online are clearly dated. Everything looks so squeaky clean and new. Obviously, the intended message is to impersonate the quality of 5-star resort at a discounted price. Again, I'm not surprised when reality hit me square in the face upon arrival. As soon as I pull into the parking lot, I see McDonalds and Starbucks trash everywhere, fingerprints all over the lobby / office windows, and a dark, locked, and seemingly abandoned lobby. Upon arrival at around 10:40pm, I parked and approached the lobby. The sign in the window instructed me to ring the doorbell for service. There were two doorbells so I rang both. Ten minutes and three rings later, no sign of life inside. I was just about to go back to my car, get my cell phone and attempt to call when the clerk finally appeared. No received apology or explanation for the wait. I let it go. The clerk on duty asked for my name but oddly did not ask me to present my ID or the credit credit card used to make the online reservation a month earlier. Being the frequent traveller that I am, I stay at several hotel chains in addition to Best Western. I am a BW rewards member and have stayed at BW no less that seven times since May this year. At BW and other chains, I've grown accustomed to the procedure of being asked to produce ID and credit card at the time of initial check-in and that to be standard operating procedure. After telling the clerk my name, she proceeded to fumble with a stack of papers. Not finding my check-in form, she then attempted to find my reservation on her computer. After a few minutes, the clerk stated that she could not find my reservation. I retrieved my cell phone from my car and showed her the email and confirmation number received at the time of registration online. Using my confirmation number, the clerk attempted to find my reservation in her computer. Five minutes later, she informed me that I had already checked-in hours earlier. WHAT?? I responded by stating that this was not possible because I've been on the road since 3:00 pm. She informed me that "there is no mistake" because "my credit card had was charged the full amount earlier." WHAT??? She then proceeded to inform me that her computer shows that the room assigned to me, at the time of my check-in, was occupied by some other guest. When asked to do so, she could not verify this by calling the room 3 times. "The only thing left to do", she concluded, was to give me my room key and inform me that she would have to first "escort" me to the room to confirm whether or not my room was indeed occupied. As we walked to the room, she received a call on her cell. As we continued to the room, I overheard enough of the conversation to conclude with confidence the she was either talking to either another employee who worked the previous shift before her, or superior about this issue of pre-charging credit cards before actual arrival of the guest, and prior to confirming a guests identity, and prior to the guest initialling / signing the obligatory check-in form thus re-affirming the quoted room rate and hotel policies regarding pets, smoking, pool hours, and other misc and generic policies. The conversation ended when we arrived at the room. Before knocking, the clerk commented that she "hates it when this thing happens because it just screws everything up". I've been travelling for decades and I have stayed in dozens of hotels. It's inevitable that certain issues will occasionally arise, and they have at times in the past, but never have I encountered an issue quite like this one. Not sure of the legalities regarding pre-empting room charges prior to the customer arriving and signature authorization to charge the card at that time. If it is legal to do this, so be it. Never-the-less, I find it unusual and rather bad business to do so. I've never experienced this before, and like I said, I do travel frequently. Welcome to Best Western Sahara, Blythe CA..... BTW, Once I got Inside the room, I found several carpet stains, sagging beds with worn and faded comforters, some sort of greasy film on the table, and a strong musty / Stale odor.

"Good value for the price"
SusanShermanOaks, 20 Juillet 2019

I normally stay at Hampton Inn's or Marriott Courtyards, but the location and timing of this trip caused me to choose Best Western. For the price, it was a perfectly good value. Room was clean, bed comfortable, tv had good channel selection, staff was friendly, and Courtesy Cafe (across the street) has awesome breakfasts.

"Good road trip hotel"
marktc2018, 29 Juin 2019

Clean and tidy room with fresh bedding and towels. Ok shower, free toiletries. Air conditioner was ok, a bit noisy but it did the job. Good breakfast and service. Pool was out of order unfortunately as pump was down.

"Fabulous Pool!"
TerriFloyd, 26 Juin 2019

Standard clean rooms. Very nice pool area. Hot tub needed cleaned but pool was great. This was a great place to stop for the night traveling from Lois Angeles area to Phoenix area. Pleasant employees, clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was standard - okay.

"Blythe"
Don C, 27 Mai 2019

This is a nice place for Blythe, there are better places in town, but for the price, cant go wrong. Close to Rebel BBQ which you must try. Also across the street from Courtesy Cafe which I hear is good but did not get there

"They got nothing right!"
boofdoggydog, 06 Mai 2019

Very upsetting experience. We were there with a group of 30. Pool/spa were not operational despite having been expressly informed beforehand that they were (call to General Manager from our coordinator). One member had pre-paid his reservation on his credit card and had proof of that and his confirmation e-mail/number. They had given his room away and had not vacancy. They would not do a refund and told him he had to take it up with his credit card company. He and his roommate had to "bunk in" with other members for the first night. Despite being told that members that were roommates could split the cost of the room on separate credit cards the staff didn't know how to do that at checkout despite knowing 3 days in advance (at check-in) that many of us wanted to do just that. Many members had to constantly return to the office to have their keys reset as they would only work once to open their rooms. Our group has stayed in this motel for 37 years for our annual golf tournament. The previous owners/operators were always wonderful. The new owner is NOT! We will find a new place for next year. I caution you to STAY AWAY!!

"Great overnight stop"
Julie J, 23 Avril 2019

Great location with palm trees and pool. Check in was quick even though staff was training a new team member. Breakfast choice was great from waffles to cereals to hot cooked breakfast. Had a great nights sleep on comfortable beds and shower was perfect.

"Great parking, one level motel, breakfast justOK"
photobug429, 03 Avril 2019

Parking in front of door was very handy. Room was OK, but one bed was right up against the wall. That would have been a challenge. We appreciated having 2 chairs, but they were not very comfortable. Bath needs plumbing work. Breakfast was not up to BW standards. NO skim milk, no one was present to look after things. All the cereal seemed to be sweetened.

"Please"
traveling-clam, 31 Mars 2019

Drove to Anaheim from Texas for the Elite 8 and chose this place to crash at. Was the cheapest place I could find that looked nice. Price was good, room was clean, and the bathroom was really big. Breakfast was really good both morning, but the dining area is pretty small. I think that's okay considering it isn't a big motel. I'm happy I picked this place.

"Needs Attention to the Basics"
TeeP, 29 Mars 2019

Four circles is a big stretch for this older, basic motel, based on my 60+ hotel night stays each year. The rooms are small and very ordinary, although admittedly they come equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker and newer carpeting. What is lacking is a general attention to detail, such as an obvious stain on the bathroom wall that required just wiping, the homemade patch to the tub surround, the dirty or worn paint on the interior of entrance door or the lamps and appliances that didn't work until I checked all the plugs because the property skimped on power bars instead stretching plugs until they disconnected. The pool area looked inviting but on closer inspection both pool and hot tub were in need of cleaning. These are all simple things to fix with a little TLC.

"Hate to give such a Iow rating"
Tour52326274100, 25 Mars 2019

The person that helped us was nice, but struggled to locate our reservation. If you are staying one night you should be fine. Not sure pool area was functional when we visited. Can't speak to AC as it was winter during our stay. There are a couple of other hotels on the other side of the freeway that would be worth the extra $30 to stay in.

"Super Dog Friendly"
Trek39547815575, 20 Mars 2019

This hotel was a cute little oasis and very dog friendly. That is the main reason for staying here but was pleasantly surprised at how good an attitude they had towards dogs. Rooms could use updating and maybe expanding however they were super clean and served their purpose.

"Bed"
bluesoid, 20 Mars 2019

Nice room at a decent price. Breakfast isn't anything fancy, but it suffices. Can't remember the girl who checked us in, but she handled it nicely. Very cute as well. Sabrina checked us out and also handled it well. She was also a cutie.

"VERY NICE BLYTHE MOTEL"
707clayg, 14 Mars 2019

The motel is on the dated side but is pretty well maintained. The pool was down for major service when we rere there. The location is right in the center of Blythe with lots of places to eat within walking distance. The free breakfast is good with eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits n gravy, cerials and make your own waffels. There is parking for vehicles with trailers available. The staff is very friendly and helpful. On check in they have a list of local resturants that will give a discount for showing your room card, a nice plus. We have stayed at this location several times and it is always a nice stay. Not the nicest BW but very comfortable and quiet.

"Expensive for the quality you get"
NormaV580, 13 Mars 2019

The room had dingy and old towels and sheets. They had 1 new face towel and the other towels were grey in dingyness. The room was dusty and crowded. It was a last minute reservation on a trip to Spring training.

"DUMP"
Darlene M, 06 Mars 2019

I don't know what else to say. DUMP. I'm sure I have stayed at worst places in my youth but right now I can't remember any of them. As with other clients, our first room was not made up and we had to go back to reception. After 7 hours of driving it was the last thing I wanted to do. The Red Roof Inn is across the road and looks better but who knows what is behind the door. Sad, sorry no tell motel. There is a decent sized fridge and a microwave. That's the best thing I can say.

"Charming on the outside"
Craigcross, 11 Février 2019

Charming on the outside but not so great once you enter the room. Just needs some updates and new linens. The ice machine was not working so we had to run across the street to Starbucks for ice. Towels and sheets were in dire need of replacement.

"Won't Stay Again"
LuxT954, 06 Février 2019

Wasn't thrilled with this Best Western. Paid way too much for a low end experience.. Super slow check out. Over priced. WiFi was terrible. Loud drinking and smoking in the pool area very late at night. It was clean and located conveniently next to the highway. Eateries nearby but almost all fast foodThe staff was really nice. The super slow check out was not their fault. I think they're still using a DOS operating system.Wasn't worth what we paid.

"Great option for rockhounds"
DocDick_47, 01 Février 2019

When visiting Quartzsite for the shows or local rockhounding, this is a fine place to stay. Good rooms, early breakfast times, modest prices. The Blythe restaurants are good quality and diverse, and the motel offers discounts at many of them. We've stopped here many times and will do so again!

"A little disappointed."
IRENE B, 16 Janvier 2019

Booked this hotel to breakup our road trip. More like a motel than hotel. Pool was closed for renovations. Unit was clean and breakfast was quite good.Definitely better than the usual continental. Starr were very efficient and friendly.

"Nothing fancy but a nice Motor Lodge especially if you have a pet"
LeoS3107, 05 Janvier 2019

On a recent trip to Prescott Arizona my wife and I stock add the Sahara Best Western in Blythe. We picked it up specifically because it was a Best Western, a brand we like, and pet friendly. The Sahara Best Western is an older property it has been rehabbed. It's a nice place for Blythe, but might not suit some Travelers expectations. As I said it's an older property that's been rehabbed. All the parking is directly outside the rooms. On our visit there was one rather noisy arrival at 10 p.m. it was too late to complain about as I was very tired , but I'm sure the staff would have taken care of it have I said something. The room was clean and comfortable. The TV was nice and worked well. I had a little trouble with the Wi-Fi. I'm not sure if that was my problem are or their problem but for the most part it suited my needs. The pictures I see here on Yelp of the rooms and the breakfast area look a little nicer then what I witnessed. The breakfast area is part of the front office and it's relatively small for what I'm used to that other Best Westerns. I have come this to the fact that as previously stated this is an older property. Every encounter I had with a staff member was very pleasant. They really seemed we try to do their best and we're very very friendly. Overall considering the edge of the property, the staff, and the included amenities including the fact that it's dog friendly and the price. I think I would recommend the Best Western Sahara to someone traveling with a pet.

"Best Western at Blythe"
Tim A, 27 Décembre 2018

The majority of guests who will stay here will be in transit to and from Phoenix. A clean hotel, with in room fridge and microwave. All the staff were very personable and friendly, especially Pat and Belinda. My only real complaint was the reluctance or inability of the Reception Staff to book accommodation my behalf with a Best Western Hotel in Phoenix. I was disappointed by this and had to resort to using the computer in the Lobby. Nevertheless, a reasonable Hotel for one night

"Scary room; scary neighborhood"
Patrika H, 22 Décembre 2018

Worn out sheets and towels; cleaners did the best they could with what they have to work with. I checked in with a dog and walking her behind the motel was a short walk as I was definitely out of place in the neighborhood. (Middle-age white lady). Noisy room, could hear word for word a normal conversation, next door, with the paper thin walls. Three adults, with the dog, felt really cramped in the two bed room. I have more room in my RV! Basically we stretched out on the bed; got up at 4am and got the heck out of there. Didn't even use the shower because the towels looked like they might shred with use. Upon checking in, I thought I might use the "heated pool". Ha! Dirty and cold. To top it off, I got to pay $117.00 for this lovely experience. Avoid like the plague.

"My Best “ Best Western” stay yet"
Debbie C, 13 Octobre 2018

I / We Tavel most of the year Using Best Western once or twice a monthThis location by far had the most pleasant manager/ staff I've encountered Thank you so much for having me and 2 pups I was a walk-in ; late in the day after a long drive and my arrival to your hotel made my day

"Not Much"
Tsuboimachi, 24 Septembre 2018

First, the desk staff were terrific and were working hard to make the best of a not-so-good situation. That being said, it's best not to stay here. 1) one of the towels given to us was (very) dirty, 2) the air conditioner made a lot of noise and smelled of dog dander when not in the cooling mode, 3) the toilet ran continuously and 4) the bathroom had a faint smell of raw sewage. Not worth the money at all!

"Trip half way point"
butch300, 23 Août 2018

We sometimes have to travel between Sierra Vista, Az & Ridgecrest, Ca. This hotel is a handy spot to stop overnight . We have stayed here several times & are always pleased with the hotel. Plus there is a good cafe right across the street.

"Seems new management is struggling"
Four2Score, 06 Août 2018

We stay here a few times a year and this year things seems a bit 'off'. The front desk did mention they had new management since last year & I can't help but wonder if that is why... things we noticed... Pool was green/yellow & very UN-inviting. Paint is peeling off the wall in the bathroom. Also we discovered the room had a baby bottle on the floor with spoiled milk in it (so THAT was what that smell was) & we did kill what looked like a small roach on the floor. This makes you wonder how well the room was cleaned... Breakfast food was great. Staff was very friendly. One icemaker did not work, so you had to go inside the pool-yard to get ice for drinks (hey it matters when the temps are over 100 degrees!) Overall not a bad stay. But for the price (over $100 a night) I expected better quality.

"Disgusting"
Tammy C, 22 Juillet 2018

Do NOT stay here! Best Western should sell it or demolish it! Absolutely filthy! The furniture had stains, sheets were unclean, pool was green, lawn was unkept.... Everything about this place was old, dirty & unkept. I would never recommend staying here. We almost slept in our car instead.

"CLEAN ROOM AND REALLY COFY BEDS"
ddac3, 16 Juillet 2018

Aside from the air conditioner being located in an area of the room that did not allow it to cool the bed area very effectively, this property is clean and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed one night and all was great except the coolness of the room.

"Great customer service"
jchrist0pher, 25 Juin 2018

I stay at this hotel a few times a year when i visit the desert or the river. Always had a good experience here. This time i checked in and didnt notice the smell right away but after returning from dinner it was really strong. I call it the smell of construction. I know there was some improvements being done to the property out behind the rooms. I went to see if they could get me a different room and JOSE was very courteous and got me into another room. I hope they appreciate the job he does for them. This is why i will keep coming back here.

Just need a place to sleep? Then this is the place.. breakfast was good the first night .. the other nights it was picked over and stale .. of you actually are looking for an enjoyable stay I'd look elsewhere

"Nice place"
Mark S, 28 Mai 2018

We travled for 2 weeks straight and stayed in many many rooms i would stay here again if i was back in the area clean rooms nice staff great breakfast verry good value for the money great place to stay

"Over nite visit"
Catherine C, 27 Mai 2018

Check in was quick, Evening staff was very friendly, She did tell me that the ice machine was broken. This hotel is close to places to eat at. This was a very quiet hotel. I would stay there again on my way up I-10

"Always welcoming"
ileeniej54, 24 Mai 2018

I stay at this motel when traveling in this area. Feels safe, clean and always professional. I some times travel with a pet, and they gladly accommodate me. I like the 1 story feature of this motel, easy in with baggage.

"Strange property, nice people"
W1419ZDstever, 25 Avril 2018

Traveling through and needed 2 comfortable beds for the night. Front desk help was cheerful and helpful. We got a reasonable rate and a ground floor room close to the office. Well lit parking area was a big plus. The room was quirky, however. This place has been remodeled over the years and the bathroom was reconfigured strangely. The newish lavatory/counter has no electrical outlets on the wall... or the adjacent wall. The air conditioning unit site right outside the bathroom door and chills that end of the unit quite completely. The shower controls evocatively have 2 settings: "on" and "off". The "default" temperature is fine... but adjusting it to hotter or colder is not an option. The beds are older... but we found them comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was below average... but the coffee was excellent.

"Remarkable service for a reasonable price"
Andrea M, 19 Avril 2018

Blythe is a small town and for a dog owner, there isn't much to chose from, so we were absolutely delighted to find this gem of a hotel. It is an old building which has been renovated and they did a great job. The front desk lady (Amy) was professional and friendly, making the check in quick and pleasant. The rooms are small but they provide everything you need for a short stay. The room and bathroom were super clean. The linen soft, mattress comfortable and four pillows from which to chose. There's a microwave, refrigerator, and a quiet air conditioning unit...hurray (just don't set it too low). The shower offered lots of really warm water. Breakfast is included and they have a variety of pastries, eggs, waffles ad bacon. And if you don't like the coffee offered by the hotel, there is a Starbucks across the street. If I ever have to go through Blythe again, I'll surely stay here.

"alright for the price"
Angela S, 09 Avril 2018

staff was easy to deal with, room and bed were small, controls for hot tub not in sight. It worked for the price and the distance to the location I was headed to. Would stay again if I had a bigger bed option and instructions on hot tub

"I highly recommend"
lucier792, 02 Avril 2018

I'm retired & travel a lot. This is the best renovation/modernization of an older property I've seen. Totally new, modern bathroom. New furniture & carpet. WiFi worked well. Cable TV - smaller screen, but many channel choices. Good-sized fridge - very cold. New (small) microwave. In-room 1-cup coffee maker. Nice breakfast - starts at 5 AM, which is unusual. Umpteen food choices. Staff couldn't be nicer. Located just off the I-10 at Lovekin. Starbucks a stone's throw away. A & R Restaurant - less than a block's walk - excellent sandwiches & pastries. I highly recommend this Best Western.

"Nice older motel"
Melissajay1984, 11 Mars 2018

My husband and I checked it 03/10/11 it was pretty early I guest too early for the receptionist she had an attitude since we were there early. Besides that receptionist in the morning everything was good the pool was a nice touch to our stay.

"Great Place!"
Teri F, 02 Février 2018

Great place to stay! This was our first time here and loved it. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The food was very good. You also have no one above you to make noise. Last hotel the people above us were loud and kept us awake all night. We would definitely stay here again.

"Excellent Service "
Tim G, 01 Février 2018

Older but clean motel style set up. Small but hot breakfast with good selection. Room 145 had a comfy bed :) but not sure that a bariatric sized shower chair needs to be in the bathroom because it would never be safe to use in that tub. Great service from all staff.

"Hot break!"
80paulettee, 30 Janvier 2018

Older BW -you can park by your door! Hot tub-no air jets but hot water felt great. Really nice pool area private & quiet. Loved the 80 degree day. Front desk very helpful & efficient-good check in & out. Breakfast very good - yummy oranges & oatmeal toppings. Upkeep was good - I'd come back again. If shopping at Quartzsite great location for overnight.

"BW Blythe, CA"
Pamela V, 11 Janvier 2018

The property was ok the breakfast was not but was corrected while we were there. The Owner was very nice and helpful.... It has a very nice tropical setting which I really like.. lots of palms trees ... we would go back !!!!!

"Stayed two nights. Good Beds, Good Showers Reasonable"
BonsaiMe, 03 Janvier 2018

The room we had was a little small but had a king size bed that was very comfortable. The table had two chairs that you could sit in for some time. That was a real plus for me as I needed time to practice guitar. I also spent some time with my tablet. Oh and while it was a little cool outside the showers were nice and toasty warm. If you booked two weeks out you get a better rate. Try it out you will like!

"Good choice!"
Sheerie S, 30 Décembre 2017

This is an older motel and that said, it was very adequate to our needs. Our room was clean, warm and easily accessible. The receptionist was friendly and checked our reservation, which had not come through, and quickly set us up with a room anyway. The pet fee was just $10. We asked about local restaurants and were told about the Courtesy Cafe just across the street, an excellent choice.

"Blythe Best Western Sahara"
beckysM3154NM, 22 Décembre 2017

We had a good nights sleep with a good breakfast in the morning. There were plentiful and quality food choices. We would definitely stay again. The location was convenient and easy to access. It was close to restaurants for supper.

"small, boutique style Best Western in Blythe"
Noah's M, 21 Décembre 2017

with easy access off the freeway, this charming older hotel welcomes you with tall palm trees, a courtyard pool and spa area (its a little dated, but otherwise a charming social area), friendly staff, free Internet and morning Breakfast & Coffee. Across the street are Starbucks & a local diner. This was a welcome place to be traveling across country.

"Adequate"
williamn262, 20 Décembre 2017

This single floor motel is a throwback to the 60's: small room, outdated bathroom etc. but it is clean and the people are friendly. AND it us pet-friendly. Its best attribute is that it's across the street from a Starbucks.

"Dated but nice"
285scotte, 19 Décembre 2017

Staff on check in was very helpful and understanding of a tiered customer. The place is dated but nice, clean, and in a good location for food and gas. Breakfast was hot and full line up. Room had all the amenities needed plus internet available. All one level place so it was great to park and unload.

"Overnight stay in Blythe"
I5972JJmichellel, 14 Décembre 2017

Staff was very friendly, clean room and great location. We were traveling to Phoenix and this was our halfway stop, and because they are pet friendly we chose this hotel. Would choose it again even if we didn't bring our pet.

"Nice roadside travel motel"
Brian F, 13 Décembre 2017

mostly very good; nice staff, good rooms and rates within this modest- slightly middle range; easy access on-off nearby I-10 both E & W; very nice breakfast; only negative: bad computer system forced me to stand outside for 20 minutes at 11:30PM in cold while night clerk struggled to get computer to work correctly;

"Great little hideaway!!"
O4364VZrobertp, 07 Décembre 2017

Recommend this place as a hideway to escape the hustle and bustle of larger urban areas. Blythe is a smaller town that is a good hideaway. On this trip I was entertained by the town's Christmas parade on Hobsonway (the main street of Blythe). Always something happening at Blythe. Check the local newspaper or chamber of commerce.

"Here we are again!"
Joseph G, 03 Décembre 2017

We have stayed at this hotel at least three nights per year for the last three years. The staff, and management are exceptional in courtesy and response. That is why we stay here! We had stayed at another Best Western on the East side of the Colorado River, but we became very dissatisfied with everything about that place. Since we found Sahara, we continue to be extremely pleased with everything there.

"Surprisingly nice and affordable"
dblitz70, 28 Novembre 2017

When I pulled in, I was skeptical that this was one of those trucker hotel / motels that have loud guests, loud vehicles, and you can't sleep because of the noise, but I was wrong.. The guest vehicles pull right up to the room doors, the office was small, but I'll be honest, i was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was great, the rooms were roomy and clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was better than most budget hotels, and the breakfast areas was small but just fine. I would stay here again for sure.

"Hotel Stay From Hell"
F1223VQkimberlyg, 26 Novembre 2017

One observation, or suggestion I would like to make is to make sure towels are clean and white.Clean white towels will go a long way to make guest feel they are in a clean healthy environment. I was fairly pleased with the stay until the second night when the loud guest from hell came in, and until the front desk associate did nothing to alleviate my discomfort.

"Wow"
Slegrand1012, 26 Novembre 2017

The service was amazing, bed were comfortable, and the pool and other amenities were very nice. This hotel is pet friendly - which means I will be back. Keep up the good work! Oh and breakfast included - you can't beat that!

"bEST wESTERN, bLYTH"
Z8086HKjudyl, 18 Novembre 2017

Been staying here for years on my way between L. A. and AZ. Usually check in at 10pm. Always friendly and helpful and I get a good nights sleep. Breakfast is fine with a fair selection of food and the price for a 10 hour stay is very fair.

"Border town Blythe"
M9511JKchristinad, 14 Novembre 2017

Driving from La Jolla to Phoenix we stopped just before Arizona in Blythe. After a long drive on a dark road the city lights were a happy sight. We were tired but front desk Belinda was chipper and friendly. she told us about the cute diner across the street that was actually an authentic mexican restaurant, and they sold alcohol. We dropped our bags in the room and off to dinner we went. Afterwards we went right to sleep and didn't wake up once. Hotel was full but it was quiet. In the morning the breakfast continental was just right. We headed out with instructions that gas was cheaper in AZ and only 4 miles away. Thanks ladies at Best Western Sahara, you were a great Oasis on our journey!

"Blythe CA"
L2035RBdavide, 14 Novembre 2017

Centrally located - friendly staff - clean rooms - all rooms are on the same floor - no need to climb stairs or use elevators - free breakfast in the morning- free wifi - have stayed at this Best Western several times now, never disappointed.

"Clean & comfortable & affordable"
ShdjdksksSams, 03 Novembre 2017

Our stay was great. Staff, room, and breakfast was all wonderful. Definitely a good place to stay in this area.. beds were firm, pillows great, very clean and not run down. Room is spacious. Near the freeway. Quite. Felt safe for the family

"dated and dirty"
azgmausa, 26 Octobre 2017

room was very small. paint dirty and chipped..could see light thru door jam.. all furniture pads including pool ones were soiled. pool with debris. Young lady ithink her name was Andrea was outstanding in registration beds were comfortable

"Great experience on the way to Sedona"
Asha B, 19 Octobre 2017

We booked this hotel on one of the comparison websites a couple of hours before arriving. Unfortunately when we arrived we discovered we had entered the wrong dates in the booking and they weren't expecting us for another 3 weeks! Erica the receptionist was really helpful finding us two rooms and handling all the cancellation and adjustment to our incorrect bookings making sure we didn't pay twice. Best Western you have a really excellent member of staff in Erica. The hotel was quiet, comfortable and provided a great place to break the journey between the coast and Sedona.

"My new favourite motel!"
Z1901YMcarolynw, 09 Septembre 2017

Best Western Sahara is really a gem in the desert. We were so pleased with the beautiful room, lobby, and grounds. All rooms are on ground floor- so no walking up stairs. You park right in front of your room! The room was so clean - really spotless- and such nice bedding and pillows- we slept like kings in our king size bed. All the amenities you could want too. Beautiful pool and spa- both heated and very clean. The breakfast is wonderful- many choices and all very good. But most of all- the staff at this wonderful motel are top notch. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Best Western Sahara in Blythe, CA. We had a wonderful time and will return!

"Nice place to stay few hiccups"
pickles63, 03 Septembre 2017

Been staying here last 5 yrs w/ family for dove season. Love the dove cleaning tables. Biggest flaw though is all locals come by morning and use all the ice from ice machine which leaves us paying guest no ice!! That needs to be fixed. Maybe required key card to use the ice machine. Clean room and a/c worked great which is big being in the desert. Internet was fast enough. Did speed test almost 7mb. Was able to use wifi at the pool. Employees nice. Wished breakfast was lasted till at least 10am. At least during dove season. Normally get back around 9:30 and already cleaned up. So never really was able to use the complimentary breakfast.

"overpriced for an older just barely average motel - I rate it a little better than poor but not average"
wilbury6, 03 Septembre 2017

PRO: the place was clean; no I-10 interstate noise (probably because the noise inside the room was plenty) CONS: the A/C and refrigerator were excessively noisy; the walls are thin; the bed was old and saggy

"Hotel"
martinpQ6382BW, 27 Août 2017

The staff courtesy and pleasant environment near family and near restaurants. Always enjoy our stay here over the newer local hotels. The staff is helpful and we always enjoy our Colorado River vacations.

"Best in Blythe"
SoCalCrawling, 15 Août 2017

This is by far the best place to stay in Blythe CA. The entire location is clean and safe. Staff is amazing and above helpful. Rooms are nice sized and very clean. Close and easy access to the freeway.

"Customer Service"
K1949IKlarryg, 11 Août 2017

Super! Check in and check out was quick and efficient. Staff was were professional, well dressed and friendly. They provide needed information about the hotel, services, and location of local dinners and stores. I would without a doubt highly recommend the Best Western to friends and colleagues.

"Best Western"
Monte C, 09 Août 2017

Outstanding and professional staff, there to make your stay as pleasant and stress free as possible. Prime location is close to restaurants down the main street from shopping, fantastic for work or play just 4.5 miles from Colorado river.

"Pit Stop in CA"
Powellvic, 09 Août 2017

The neighborhood is very sketchy but the actual property is very nice and very well kept. The staff is kind. Breakfast was subpar. Nothing was really stocked.we went to McDonald's which was just a half a block up the road. Queen bed rooms are not queen beds- must be full. definitely not queens. With a few adults in the room, made for a tight squeeze. Rooms are small. Old hotel most likely. But it was clean!

"Respite in the Desert"
Michael M, 05 Août 2017

Excellent stopover between LA and Sedona. Attentive and informative front desk staff, a great pool, well maintained grounds, quiet, two blocks off the interstate (10), a block from Starbucks and Rebel BBQ.

"It's an average room so it gets an average review"
April E, 03 Août 2017

This is a very clean and comfy non smoking room that smells like an old casino. The receptionist, Belinda, was great. They have put every thing you need in this room but it's dank and smells of old smoke. We've stayed here before and they try hard but don't expect luxury or a room that doesn't smell like smoke.

"Best Western Sahara, Blythe CA"
bethlX4295DC, 30 Juillet 2017

The hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The pool was refreshing and had cabanas that were nicer than some hotels in Las Vegas! The location was convenient (close to restaurants and the interstate). Our entire family loved the breakfast options.

"Great experience below par ac"
Riverazachary13, 29 Juillet 2017

Everything was good except for the air conditioning wasn't working as good as it normally does. It made the room a little uncomfortable. I had to sleep with the blankets off. It wasn't the worst thing in the world but I wish it was cold like the times I stayed before.

"Ok"
Gypsydancer53, 27 Juillet 2017

The hotel was easy to get to the room was clean and comfy bed. I complained about the dirty pool...lady she she was sorry i got sick from swimming in it. Breakfast was basic. Needs more variety of jams only peanut butter or maple syrup.

"Good things about the facility"
Pansy L, 22 Juillet 2017

Hubby decided on the spur to go to the river in July, said this hotel is the only one available for our time. It's single story with doors to the exterior parking lot, like a motel, nothing fancy. Serves a good breakfast, has a mini frig and microwave, good supply of ice which we need in the hot weather. Front desk is courteous. Convenient location just off freeway with shops and restaurants (not fine dining I don't think) within walking distance. We have no problem parking our boat in the lot; I noticed 2 huge U Haul moving vans parked overnight. There is plenty of room and no problems with management or guests; so this is the plus part for people with their moving trucks or vans or boats or trailers. Blythe is near the Colorado River, just 15 minutes away to launch the boat at Aha Quinn Resort. We were happy to have found a quiet cove with sandy beach to beach the boat and enjoy the clear and warm water. AC works well.

"Okay for traveling"
shannonk325, 21 Juillet 2017

It's about average for traveling. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms could definitely be a little nicer, but I guess it's because they have so many different types of people traveling and coming through. Sizzler is right down the street, and the drive-through Starbucks is on the corner. So the location is great!

"As usual"
Joseph G, 16 Juillet 2017

As usual, we were very well satisfied with our accommodations at the Best Western Sahara. We stay there at least three times per year, and have always been very well satisfied. We came there as a result of absolute DISSATISFACTION with the Best Western Oasis at Ehrenberg, across the river. I would not recommend that place to anyone. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have become acquainted with Best Western Sahara. Very lucky for us, that is certain!

"Desert Oasis"
BoulderScot, 10 Juillet 2017

Just what you need when you are in the middle of the desert on a long road trip. Friendly service, clean and comfortable rooms, refreshing pool, proximity to restaurants, Starbucks across the street and pets welcome. My desert oasis.

"An oasis"
248dennise, 29 Juin 2017

After travelling cross country this hotel offered a quiet retreat after 4 days on the road. Staff was wonderful, pool area was delightful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was delicious.

"Nice and comfortable"
417mylel, 26 Juin 2017

close to Starbucks, Mc Donald , and others stores with walking distance. I really enjoyed staying here especially with pets being allow with only $ 10 per pet being charged. I would come back here again definitely.

"Great stay"
Thomasfam188, 23 Juin 2017

Had a pleasant one night stay here. Airconditioning worked very well, room was nice and cool when we arrived. Good choices for breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi area was lovely and much appreciated. Good location.

"Nice, affordable"
DAN R, 20 Juin 2017

An older motel but nicely kept. AC works well, breakfast was OK, Belinda checked me in, awesome and helpful. Many places to eat within walking distance, the area looks to be OK safety wise. Easy access to the 10 freeway. I will stay here again when working in this area.

"Excellent as expected"
O4364VZrobertp, 20 Juin 2017

Usually I stay at this hotel on my visits to the Blythe area. This visit was no exception. The price was acceptable, the breakfast was wonderful and the rooms were clean and overall very relaxing. The location of the property is good for tourists like me who tend to favor fast food restaurants.

"Good"
BERNADINE B, 13 Juin 2017

The stay in Blythe is always wonderful at this hotel. The girl who checked us out needs to learn customer care. I.e. Be pleasant have a personality. Belinda who checked us in would be a great teacher.

"Nice Pool"
Ginney55, 12 Juin 2017

This hotel has a nice pool and is adequate in all ways. All rooms are on the first floor and you can park in front of the rooms. Considering it was around 95 F at midnight when we arrived the room was nice and cool and the pool was inviting the next day. The décor of the rooms is a little dated

"Awesome staff!"
Dallas S, 10 Juin 2017

I have stayed at this Best Western a number of times and love the location and staff! The front desk staff at check in and check out were very friendly and helpful! I will definitely stay here again! Walking distance to a number of restaurants. Rooms are very comfortable and clean!

"Great Place!!!"
W7559CTjeffw, 26 Mai 2017

Single story hotel with nice rooms and great rates, Perfect place to stop half way between Phoenix and LA, but very few places to eat. Recommend staying here even if it looks like old style hotel. Friendly staff and clean rooms

"Disappointed, unfortunately"
kimD9245XR, 24 Mai 2017

The staff at this Best Western truly seem to be trying hard and doing the best job they can, but the facility is just old, and it hasn't aged well. Our room was very musty, and the stink of cigarette smoke kept flowing down through the bathroom vent (our room itself was non-smoking). The beds, carpet, and bathroom had been well-cleaned, but they were old in a way that made the whole place look sorta sad. I feel bad for the staff which was clearly trying, but I wouldn't stay here again myself.

"Passing through Blyth"
Q2415MCjanetb, 23 Mai 2017

I felt safe and comfortable in this hotel. Everything was in walking distance. Very hot weather so the room had a great ac. Good helpful hotel staff morning breakfast was a good starter for the day. Fast check out service available

"On our way to Phoenix."
A2812GWmarya, 21 Mai 2017

Clean, comfortable room with helpful staff. Very nice breakfast. We have been staying at BW's on our road trip and this hotel was very traveler friendly with directions to stores and dinner as well as a great night's sleep!

"Good Room, Good Hotel, Great Price"
Dawn H, 16 Mai 2017

I was surprised to find a Best Western with all the amenities for a discount price in Blythe. Particularly liked the one-story set up. Nice pool area. Rooms a little small but very clean and comfy. Very close to almost all the local dining options.

"Nice Hotel And Nice Room"
ZeeVee61, 01 Mai 2017

When my boyfriend told me we were spending the night in Blythe California I didn't know what to expect. I had some reservations about staying in such a small town. The Best Western was a pleasant surprise. The room was nice and what a perfect ending to a long motorcycle trip from Vegas. The beds were very comfortable and I really like the decorations. But my favorite part was the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the shower. What a terrific idea. I hope other hotels follow suite. It's a great way reduce waste. My only complaint would be is the room was a little small. I would definitely stay here again.

"My Stay at BW in Blythe"
580gilbertt, 01 Mai 2017

All was very good except that the room, during the heat of the day, smelled musty. Check in and out were very good. Location, for my purposes were was very good. Grounds and pool were well maintained.

"Okay but dated"
David K, 30 Avril 2017

This motel is favorably located in Blythe. It's a one story where you can park your car in front of your room. The rooms are clean but tired. The free breakfast is typical but the breakfast room is very small. Some restaurants are within walking distance.

"Business trip"
cameronmm2017, 28 Avril 2017

Was a great hotel. Thank you for the Hospitality. The staff and room and breakfast surpassed my expectations from the outside view of the area. Great place to get work done and a good night of sleep!!

"great place to stop"
917claytonb, 25 Avril 2017

good service, friendly, easy in and out, great breakfast, super location. Have stayed there 3 time now and will continue to stay there. Of all the places we have stayed in Butte, this one was the best. Looking forward to our stop in Oct. on our way back to Mexico.

"Oasis in the desert"
Gini S, 20 Avril 2017

This is a good place to stop for the night when travelling through Blythe. The staff is always cheerful and helpful. The property is well-maintained, clean and comfortable. It's only a short hop off the highway, easy to find and many easy-to-find options for meals near-by.

"Nice Pet Friendly Place to Stay"
ernestov195, 17 Avril 2017

We loved this place! Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, location was easy to find and freeway close, park nestled in right there in the corner. Our crate-trained dog seemed to be right at home, for her first hotel stay!

"An oasis in the desert"
spendley3, 14 Avril 2017

Aside from a few minor glitches, this hotel turned out to be a surprising little gem. There was a broken bedside lamp switch, so it couldn't be used, and the breakfast selection could have been better; I chose to go elsewhere. That said, the grounds were lovely - with a pool in the center and a freshly paved parking lot, rooms clean and nicely decorated. Staff was nice - offering recommendations on restaurants (ahem, but do your own research), but they don't have maps or activities pamphlets. You probably won't need them as Blythe is small. It's away from the freeway and close to town, so eateries are within walking distance (Courtesy Cafe!). I will always stay here when in Blythe. I'm so happy we chose this hotel. I felt like the owners and staff really care about it and about making the guests happy.

"This place is 'da bomb' in Blythe"
Gage S, 13 Avril 2017

I knew that this place had a great pool and it does!!! The second best thing about this place is the pool First best is the staff, especially Belinda May who was so helpful and just plain nice. Always a nice word and a million dollar smile. The property is older and thus the rooms are on the smallish side. They have been remodeled and are very clean and orderly. Bed was comfortable but I would have liked a feather pillow. I dont like foam pillows much. Breakfast was adequate to start the day. But the pool....it is the best in Blythe. Surrounded by tall palm trees, it has covered cabanas and all the chairs and lounges had cushions. It is NOT heated so the pool is cool and refreshing. The heated hot tub is just right too.

"excellent value if you are passing through"
Fiona O, 30 Mars 2017

There doesn't seem to be any particular reason to visit Blythe (sorry - but it does seem to have plenty of shops and services along the main street, all easy to find) but if you are on a road trip and passing through California on Interstate 10, this makes an ideal overnight stop. I was heading east from LA, having spent the day in Joshua Tree National Park (see separate review) and Blythe is about an hour further on from the southern edge of the park. This place has to represent about the best value for money I've found in a long time. I only paid $105 for the night, tax included, and for this my motel-style room had two queen beds, tea and coffee facilities, microwave and fridge, and air conditioning. It was quiet and there was a pool, plenty of parking and a free self-serve breakfast, including hot and cold drinks, toast, cereal, yogurt, pastries and a few hot items. Staff are pleasant and welcoming and the room swere nice and clean.

"Simply the Best Place to Stay in Blythe"
K2354BSlisad, 30 Mars 2017

Excellent service, clean and well appointed rooms. Great value and extra special caring by management and staff. I have stayed at this Best Western many times over several years and it is always a pleasurable experience. I highly recommend it!

"Clean, comfortable and a good value"
jsconroy, 25 Mars 2017

We spent one night here and were delighted with the cleanliness, comfortable beds and nice service from the staff. The hot tub was wonderful, the palm trees were quite picturesque surrounding the area, and the pool appeared very clean, though I didn't use it. Our only caveat that kept this from a five star rating, was the free wifi. We were unable to connect with any of our devices due to some failure of security recognition by our phones, tablets. The motel was delightful and a good value. We will plan to stay here on another trip through the area.

"Great stay"
Maurice R, 23 Mars 2017

Nice quite, resturants around, great channels on the tv. The pool was nice and cool and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic as any other hotel but still a nice comfort. I was very comfortable with my stay

"It was OK"
trn81, 17 Mars 2017

The place is old but clean. It is not in the best neighborhood but we felt safe. The desk clerk was was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The pool was very nice and clean. I guess all in all it was not too bad . It was maybe a little pricey for what you got.

"Best Western Blythe"
L2035RBdavide, 20 Novembre 2016

Blythe is a small town - go there once a year for hunting out in the fields - Best Western is centrally located on the main strip, walking distance to other restaurants - very clean rooms - friendly staff and the hotel does have a free buffet breakfast - nothing to fancy, but it ranks right up there with McDonalds.

"mixed feelings"
rodney01, 13 Novembre 2016

This place is well kept and is pretty as a picture. Close to the interstate and restaurants. The rooms could do with a lot more soundproofing. We had a loud talker next door and luckily the room air conditioner was louder than her so we kept it on in order to sleep. The parking spots are painfully small. We drove a Ford Expedition that was too wide for the spot in front of the room and we had to park out front of the pool. This made for longer walks to unload/load the vehicle. The room itself was cozy and clean. Staff was friendly but will stay somewhere else next time.

"Sonoran Desert visit"
robertlwilliamsj, 08 Novembre 2016

Really enjoyed comfort of The Sahara on return from our desert visit. The pool, and hot-tub were greatly appreciated along with excellent beds and showers. The rooms are well kept. The ambience is most pleasant and peaceful for a highwayside facility. The staff are also well trained and helpful. I will most certainly stay here again.

"Check out lady not a morning person"
lovesthepam, 28 Octobre 2016

Comfortable accommodations? Yes. Good service? Yes. Excellent service? Yes. These were pleasant surprises. I had been a little put off when I realized that Blythe was the best stopping place for the night, ... as I had driven past Blythe on the 10 many times during earlier trips.Seemed too close to L.A., which was where those trips started. *This* trip started in Mississippi, and I was pleasantly surprised by both the town and the motel. (It's a *Mo*tel, not a *Ho*tel. After you've checked in, you can cruise right up to your door and offload directly into your room.) Blythe's main drag basically parallels the 10, just a few blocks over, and the motel was right on one of the main freeway access boulevards. Regarding its being a motel: Yes, it's a '60s or '70s building, but it has been renovated. The landscaping, too, has been updated, and includes an outdoor pool with a hot tub. In the rooms, the space can be cramped, because they fit in amenities like a fridge and microwave that the room was not originally designed to take. But there were also a desk and a dresser and closet space, so if you're organized, space really shouldn't be an issue. Wi fi and TV worked well. Bed was super comfortable. The room was spotless and well maintained. Noise issues were practically nonexistent, and they accepted me and my dog with no question or attitude. There was a small grassy area within the compound to "bathroom" the dog, and plenty of residential sidewalk to walk her along. A find.

"Good place to stay!"
Joan S, 25 Octobre 2016

We are so happy to find this hotel. When we travel to our favorite destinations in AZ this is a perfect half way place to stop. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was tasty and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

"Clean and Comfortable"
SusieTall, 19 Septembre 2016

The receptionist was friendly and the room was clean. The outside pool was cool but there was a hot water pool next to it. Nicely landscaped. Our room included a refrigerator, microwave, and TV, along with a larger table and fast internet. The lighting in the room was bright. The free breakfast was good with a wide selection. Close parking.

"Fabulous stay!!"
Kimberly B, 19 Septembre 2016

Melissa & this hotel were awesome!! All amenities included! Comfy bed in a very nice room!! Even still have smoking rooms available! Great night's sleep! We will be making this same trip in November and will be sure to stay here!!

"business trip"

Great breakfast variety and very professional staff, room was clean, AAA discount and clean TV remote control just kicks it up a notch, will be more than likely to ask my employer for reservations next time we have business in Blythe

"Suprisingly good"
J R, 04 Septembre 2016

The place was very busy because of Labor Day Weekend. The staff and the amenities of the hotel were beneficial to me on my trip. I am glad that I chose to stay at Best Western Sahara in Blythe. They had a pool, air conditioning and a fridge in the room, which is great when you're in the middle of a desert. The staff was friendly and helpful, and my stay there was very good. I have no complaints because, while it could have been more "the ritz", it was priced well for all that was offered.

"Older property but very well maintained."
Darrel Y, 03 Septembre 2016

Highly recommend this property. Staff is helpful. Good value. Easy exit from I-10 and far enough away to eliminate highway noise. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast offered variety of choices. An excellent choice for a stopover in Blythe.

"Great Room !"
Michael A, 03 Septembre 2016

Have stayed in many hotels in Blythe for Dive Hunting trips every year for 25 years. This was by far the best and friendliest hotel of all. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, room was very clean, great TV and cable channels, and the price was right ! Will stay here every year from no on.

"One of two nice places in Blythe"
Boots K, 09 Août 2016

The motel in nice, and we would stay again, more like a $70 motel, but they have done a lot of work on it and it is nice. Room 157 is and end room very close to the intersection so the car with the bump bump noise are heard as well as the cars and trucks with loud pipes, Get a room West or North of the swimming pool.Another stay we were in room 136, one side is the maids storage room, quiet at night, but busy during the day.

"Sahara Best Western"
Roc P, 08 Août 2016

Nice clean room with small refrigerator in the room. Nice pool towels provided when using the pool. Air conditioning was excellent, which is important when it is 120 degrees in Blythe in August. I recommend searching for discount on the Internet. I found this room for 25% less online.

"Better than initial impression"
323robyns, 24 Juillet 2016

When we drove in, we were leary about staying here. It looked like an old fashioned cheap motel. We are used to staying at Best Western Plus, but there were none in this area. Front desk staff was not rude, but not warm and inviting either. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to the room. It was clean and pleasant. The breakfast was good and overall it was well worth the price.

"A old roadside motel"
CynhiaS, 18 Juillet 2016

Our room had the worst bed I have ever slept on in my life and I am 70. One bounced and turned on a terrible mattress where every turn sent one's mate bouncing along. It is what it is but go across the street to the Red Roof for a newer mattress. Breakfast basic but in small lobby with no ac. Hot in Blythe!

"Do Not stay here if you use a wheel chair or cane."
Fern Jo K, 18 Juillet 2016

Do not stay here is you have accessibility needs. We were assured on the phone a couple days previous to checking-in that we would get an accessible room. When we arrived late afternoon we were told that there were none available. As a result there was no way to take a shower in the room we were given. The young man at the front desk needs more training in customer relations and when to ask for help from his supervisor.

"Decent Motel"
prosailortim, 13 Juillet 2016

Stayed here one night while in town for business. The employees were friendly, rooms were dated but clean. My room had a funky/musty odor, it appeared that the AC had leaked on the carpet below causing the smell. The AC did work very well and they had a ton of cable channels to choose from. The breakfast they served in the morning was OK. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

"Pleasant surprise"
John M, 10 Juillet 2016

Second visit to Blythe - this time for business. Blythe is a farming community and the downtown area represents an era long past its prime, that redevelopment and civic improvements didn't work. It's a stop over for travelers on I-10. The hotel - Central location, Starbucks across the street. Very nice pool, it was 103 degrees at 9pm so the pool was very refreshing and well kept. Being an older joint, one end is eight feet deep, something you don't see across the freeway at the comfort in or Hampton. Quiet / clean room / flat screen tv. What was odd, very large bathroom with a tiny countertop.....didn't make a lot of sense. Looking for a nice pool and save a few bucks, this is the place. Didn't try out the free breakfast.

"Very nice stop on the way home"
Alison H, 19 Juin 2016

I pay attention to reviews to determine where we stay when we are on the road. This one got good reviews and did not disappoint. It was your basic BW, nothing fancy, but we didn't need fancy. It was clean, well-maintained, and the best part was the very friendly, helpful staff. That can make all the difference in whether a stay is pleasant or not. The woman on duty the night we arrived (6/13/16) recommended a local restaurant, the Courtesy Cafe, which we went to for dinner that night and breakfast the next day. Wonderful place, like a step back in time to those wonderful, mid-century diners, complete with mid-century waitresses. It was extremely hot while traveling, so we were looking forward to using the pool. Beautiful pool area, with covered cabanas and comfy furniture. The property was surprisingly quiet considering it was in the middle of town. So convenient. We chose it partly because it was only a couple of blocks from the highway.

""A nice place to stay ""
dnh2014, 09 Juin 2016

A great place to stay.....clean and well appointed rooms. Bed was very comfortable and even though the Hotel is a little older than most the rooms were well maintained . Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was one of the best that we have seen or eaten in years at a Hotel. Well served and lots of choices...the person organizing this should be commended as the meal was a pleasure too consume. Easy on and off the interstate to so all in all a real Gem.

"Family camping "
logmic2003, 03 Juin 2016

We stayed here the night before our weekend camping trip. I got far more than expected. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, continental breakfast was great and they have a very nice pool 8 feet deep. Add this to convenient location I would definitely book here again.

"Evaluation"
erwino228, 29 Mai 2016

We stayed with a pet (dog). Accommodations were excellent. Also the breakfast was outstanding. There was adequate area to walk the dog.The staff was very helpful, especially when we for- got our thermos bottles in the refrigerator. They were retrieved and we picked them on our stay with you on our return trip.

"A good night's sleep"
vbintx, 20 Mai 2016

We stopped here during a long drive from Texas to San Francisco and it was a welcome respite. The price was affordable and the room was cozy. Yes, the room was a little smaller than the others we'd stayed in but it had everything we needed. The room was quiet, the shower water hot with good water pressure and a TV we could see from everywhere in the room. We enjoyed the breakfast and yes, it wasn't as plush as more expensive hotels. It had good coffee and Raisin Bran, sausage and eggs... everything we wanted. It was one of the best values of the trip.

"Quiet, clean and comfortable"
Liza W, 18 Mai 2016

For this class of hotel I found the BW Sahara clean and comfortable, and (AC aside) very quiet. The breakfast is adequate (I got my raisin bran) and if you don't like the free coffee there is a Starbucks about a half block away. And the price is certainly right.

"Serves its purpose"
Christine R, 14 Mai 2016

Stopped one night on our way to Joshua Tree. Had everything we needed for a reasonable price. Breakfast was a bit basic - would have loved some fruit and yoghourt and would have paid more for that. Easy to find off the I10 and close to several restaurants - many within walking distance.

"Decent but with shortcomings"
BrockSanDiego, 11 Mai 2016

The staff at checkin and out was friendly and helpful. However, our room was cramped, although clean, and the shower head was WAY too high. My wife is 5'6" and I had to reach it for her to make an adjustment. Also, the water flow was very ragged. We arrived late and left mid-morning. This property is acceptable for such a stop, but probably not for a longer stay.. BrockSanDiego

"Clean and Comfy Bed"
35yaya, 07 Mai 2016

We just wanted a place to sleep on route to Sedona. Room was dated decor wise but clean as was the bathroom. Shower gel, shampoo etc dispensers didn't work although had stuff in them. Luckily there was soap. Didn't check out pool. Wouldn't stay again anywhere in Blythe as it really is a truck over stop place.

"Great place to stay."
katie6132, 01 Mai 2016

I don't know where the bad reviews are coming from. We stayed there for a week. Our room, although not a new motel, was very well kept. Everything seemed very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. Something that I noticed right off was the bath towels. Each room had an ample supply and they were actually soft. We could not find anything to complain about during our stay. The staff was very friendly. The pool was not filthy as someone else posted.

"Overnight Stay"
14carolina89, 30 Avril 2016

Good position off I-10 Attractive and very clean. Interesting ciry in the desert. Met all our needs, only wish we could stay longer. Plenty of eating place nearby, room contains fridge and microwave as well as tea/coffee

"Road stop"
Myrna B, 25 Avril 2016

We were tired from driving, had not planned on spending overnight in a hotel. When I called the hotel to find out if there were any rooms available as we did not have reservations they were very accommodating. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast had all the right stuff!!!

"Filthy pool"
Teachkinde, 24 Avril 2016

Not great. This is a motel not a hotel. Big difference! Room is small and dark and dated. Worst part was that on a 95 degree day the pool was too dirty to swim in! The breakfast room is actually the motel check in desk area. Would not stay there again!

"Business"
Archibald M, 15 Avril 2016

This hotel does an excellent job of keeping the property up to date, clean, freshly painted with an inviting pool area. It is convenient to a major freeway exit (but in Blythe you are not far from an exit anyway). The beds are comfortable, TV modern, air-conditioning not too loud and clean bathrooms all for good rates.

"Pretty Standard Best Western"
Brian_the_Travel_Guy, 13 Avril 2016

The hotel was a convenient stop between CA and AZ. The room was fine and had a mini fridge and a microwave. There is also a Starbucks, Domino's and McDonald's within a block walk for food. The breakfast was tasty and they had quite a selection available in the lobby. We didn't use the pool because the dust storm was in full swing and it blew a bunch of debris into the pool. Not the hotels fault, but still disappointing. Overall a decent place to stay when driving into Southern Arizona.

"Nice Place"
CHARLES G, 05 Avril 2016

The people were very nice, and it was quiet and convenient. I would stay there again. The room was clean, and it had good TV. The bed was comfortable, and the rest of the room was well laid out. The breakfast was good.

"It was an inexpensive room, but was still too overpriced."
asmittyincaVacaville, 01 Avril 2016

We chose this hotel over a couple similar sounding ones that were about $20 cheaper. Our hope was that it would be a little bit nicer, but...not to be. The mattress was fairly comfortable, but the sheets were so pilly that they almost felt like flannel sheets. The room is old, small and just so so. It has had some minor refurbishing, but is still old and not a great hotel. I don't write many bad review, but I wouldn't recommend this place.

"Great Accomodations!!!"
Eric S, 01 Avril 2016

Extremely friendly staff. Very accommodating. Room was clean and very comfortable. Great breakfast. Grounds were well maintained. Will stay again when in the area. Easy access to to/from freeway but no freeway noise. Property was quiet and felt safe. Cheerful staff always greeted us a "Hello", is there anything we can help you with. Highly recommend this property.

"Comfortable night away from winds"
Cos39, 30 Mars 2016

The California desert was experiencing 60+ mph winds when I decided to stay in Blythe and tackle it during the daytime. The Best Western Sahara is a comfortable, friendly place with adequate amenities and quiet rooms. I found it pricy at $90 a night, but they were taking advantage of the weather as they sold the last room while I was checking in. Across the street from Starbucks, but coffee in room was good and devoid of excessive packaging. Remarkably nice grounds for a desert town.

"Ok for a one nite stay."
stokermp, 28 Mars 2016

Traveling with another couple on tandem bicycle. Room small for 4 people. All usual amenities inn room. OK clean, a little run down looking. Continental breakfast the usual, but open at if you need to get on the rode early.

"Great location"
Dean C, 24 Mars 2016

Great place to stop to & from Arizona. Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly & helpful staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in this area. I have stayed here several times & have always been very satisfied.

"A good overnight stop on the I10"
Michael L, 23 Mars 2016

A single storey motel car to door in all rooms. Good average standard all round. Has a good sized pool and spa ,secluded with good furniture. Breakfast was better than the continental suggested there was hot food available. Plenty of fast food restaurants nearby. If you are looking anything close to fine dining you may be unlucky.

"Friendly front desk staff"
AuJusCo, 22 Mars 2016

Stayed there for a night on the way from Northern California back home. The front desk staff during check in and check out were very friendly and helpful. The room was okay - a bit dated, and there were no conditioner in the room. Wifi was slow and unstable, and so was the TV. We only needed a bed so it was fine. Breakfast offering was good - eggs, sausages, biscuits, yogurt, fruits, cereal. Would stay again.

"$90 for a $40 experience - disappointing"
ianjmorley, 14 Mars 2016

I'd stayed in a Best Western hotel in New Mexico a few days previous to my stay here. That set my expectations that were let down here. I'd pre-paid $90 and as I drove off the freeway saw lots of motels offering rates of $39.99 etc. This motel wasn't an awful lot better than I would have had at a $40 motel down the road and was a poor show compared to my previous experience at a Best Western hotel. When I checked in the woman on reception gave me the same welcome you'd give someone from the IRS announcing a tax audit. She gave me the room key but made no mention of where the room was. When I found the room it smelt foisty (i.e. mouldy) and as the room backed onto the main road I had the constant noise of traffic roaring past. At 9.30 people checked into the neighbouring room and I could hear every word they said and every word on the TV. For some bizarre reason they left the TV on all night - not the fault of the hotel but I shouldn't be kept awake by poor soundproofing. I had a shower to find the water ran brown and the towels smelt strongly of bleach. Not nice. The only toiletries were 5 bars of soap! The internet kept disconnecting and I had to keep switching the router that was on the table on and off. All in all not a great experience. I would have expected much better than this for $90.

"Clean, quiet, quaint, reasonable"
Steve S, 14 Mars 2016

Stopped here between Phoenix and LA. Pleasantly surprised. The rooms were large and clean. The pool and sauna were nice. Most rooms are one level and there was absolutely no noise. To help, the staff puts people in every other room when not full so there is no noise from adjacent rooms! Thanks, I always wondered why more hotels don't do this.

"Arizona Bound"
Phyllis K, 14 Mars 2016

Lovely hotel and the staff was pleasant and professional. If you are traveling and need a great place to rest your weary bones this is the place. Location was very easy to access from the freeway. We'll definitely stay here again!

"Miller's Review"
gregorym794, 14 Mars 2016

This is really a fantastic place to stay, you will enjoy the whole experience of the Hotel and the staff, great rooms, breakfast, fresh clean air, and the view is really a great view. You have to stop in the Hotel if you are traveling through this area.

"Better than many others in Blythe"
victoriah185, 17 Février 2016

Pool was closed for renovation and no restroom in lobby. If you need to use a restroom, and your room isn't ready, you have to leave the premises and find another place. I was directed to go to a nearby Starbucks. I felt the lobby attendant should have offered another alternative--the employees bathroom or another room that was clean, especially when I told her my husband was already outside walking using his walker and reloading in the car is inconvenient.

"great hotel"
Jose G, 03 Février 2016

satisfied with every thing, from room, staff, food, quality of service 100% good, since we got their every thing was great, geting room from the guy at the front desk, very cool guy, nice perfisional ,and room very clean,no nois, breakfest great,

"Comfortable, clean room"
Melody C, 30 Janvier 2016

My fiancé and I stayed here for a night and I loved it so much. It was the cleanest and most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I loved that they sanitized the remote and put it in its own little clean pouch. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

"Best Western Sahara"
Randall M, 18 Janvier 2016

Overall the hotel was great and very accommodating to my needs. Breakfast was served early, which is nice given my work requirements. Close to the freeway and several dining options. Would definitely stay here again.

"Comfortable room"
Karen H, 11 Janvier 2016

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Room are comfortable and included a refrigerator and microwave and other amenities. We enjoyed the breakfast that they serve in the morning in the lobby.

"Excellent Service / Room"
Tritia S, 04 Janvier 2016

If you are going to Blythe, I recommend Best Western. The rooms are clean, staff is wonderful, and they offer decent rates. The Breakfast is a great way to start your day! I have been staying at this location every weekend for three years, and have always enjoyed my stay.

"Good Hotel for a One Night Stay - over the Border CA"
Acuphealing, 03 Janvier 2016

We needed a hotel close to the Arizona border and this was a good pick on all accounts! The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast, we found, was good but the coffee average. If you're on a budget and need to find something close to the border - it is great. Just know - the neighborhood was marginal. Luckily - the Starbucks was right across from the hotel - so a great cup of Joe was within reach!

"Could'nt have been better"
Travis S, 02 Janvier 2016

Came in extremely late and was greeted a courteous clerk who had everything ready so we could go straight to our room with no delay. We had called ahead asking for this since we only had 4 hours to sleep and needed every minute of it and we we're not disappointed.

"Great to Breakup the long Desert Drive"
Richard G, 28 Décembre 2015

Enjoyed a relaxing time as we drove home to California from Arizona. Nice that restaurants were within walking distance. Did not get a chance to try out the pool. Got a good night sleep to get back on the road in the morning.

"Gem of Blythe - Best Place to Stay!"
Vanessa G, 16 Décembre 2015

My husband and I went to visit friends in the area. We stay at many Best Westerns when we travel, so we were happy to see that there was one in Blythe. We stayed here on Thanksgiving night. We were greeted by Jordan Guerrero. We instantly liked him, because that is our last name too ;) But his customer service was what really set him apart. He was top notch, very friendly and very professional. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was warm and comfortable. We didn't bring our pets, but we saw a few cute dogs. Its nice to see such a nice pet friendly place. We will always choose this Best Western whenever we are in the area. We enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning, and the options were great. The girls working in the morning were also very friendly and professional. Everything about this stay was perfect.

"First Visit to Blythe"
Jacalyn O, 09 Décembre 2015

We will definitely choose to stay here in the future enroute to visiting our children. The price was reasonable and the service excellent. Having a good breakfast steps away from your room saves time and money. The breakfast has choices for everyone and is well maintained. We were exhausted and so appreciated the good mattress and slept well.

"“Beautiful and quiet hotel!!”"
Harsh P, 04 Décembre 2015

The minute you walk in the Desk welcomes you. They are always asking to be of assistance. Great value for money. Room a little dated but immaculately clean. Delicious breakfast and free high speed WiFi. Staff friendly and obliging.

"Surprisingly quiet"
Billi C, 04 Décembre 2015

We stayed here on a week night just pulled in without a reservation on a spur of the moment trip. The staff was friendly the rooms are very mall but clean and quieter than I thought it might be. My only complaint is I could not find a way to turn the refrigerator down and every time it cycled on not only did we hear it it made the tv go black and take 20-30 seconds before it came back on. But I was able to reach back and unplug it. Problem solved.

"On the Road again."
Rickey F, 22 Novembre 2015

Great place to stay...service excellent...clean. It seemed perhaps a bit older but was obviously continually being renovated and modernized. Would stay there again...staff was really helpful and accommodating.

"On the Road Again"
353carolf, 22 Novembre 2015

Moving from LA to Dallas can be exhausting and/or traumatic. When my son needed to make the move, I rode along to help with his pet dog. Service at your hotel made the trip so much easier! We remember Bythe fondly!!

"Great Place to Stay When In Blythe"
Jim S, 21 Novembre 2015

This is an older hotel, re-modeled, thus the walls are kinda thin and noise can be heard from other rooms. Great hotel for the area and location. Excellent (although a little stiff) bed. I slept well all night as the "always on" fan attached to heater/AC drowned out the tv noise from the other rooms.

"best"
Barron C, 18 Novembre 2015

had a very relaxing stay at best western will stay there from now on and will recommend it to every body I know I liked the swimming pool did not use it because it was cold but will use in summer next year

"Best Western Sahara, Blythe, California"
Robert F, 09 Novembre 2015

Just an excellent place to stay. Located in the centre of town with an abundance of palm trees, within walking distance to dining out, in room coffee, fridge, internet, also a swimming pool for relaxation, and other amenities including a hot breakfast together with cereals, fruit, etc. Quiet for sleep, and comfortable rooms.

"Conveniently Located"
lola1201, 25 Octobre 2015

We spent a one night here on our way to the border in Lukeville/Sonotoya in early October. We experienced a tire problem an hour out from Blythe, but made it safely. I needed a new tire immediately and Jordan at the front desk was very helpful in assisting me find a local shop to replace one tire and also find a tire store in Tempe for three more tires, so we did not have to go very far out of our way. The hotel is convenient, clean, quiet and quite acceptable for a one night stay. Breakfast is included. Front desk service is outstanding. Thank you Jordan and Marysol.

"Very Comfortable"
gavachoviejo, 25 Octobre 2015

We now travel with a small Bassett and made our reservations based on the positive reviews. We were not disappointed. We were running late and Jacob called us at 21:00 to confirm we were still coming. On arrival, in a manner most friendly, he got us checked in and told us about the motel. The room was modern, comfortable and clean - an equal to any Best Western of years past. I particularly enjoy the "retro" pleasure of being able to park outside my room. The location is excellent being near gas and food services, including a Starbucks and Del Taco. The continental breakfast is par for the course. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to friends.

"Great hotel for a one night stop."
Carmen D, 18 Octobre 2015

This is a great hotel for a one night stay. The staff on the front desk were very polite and friendly. The room although showing some marks of age was clean, but small. The breakfast was sufficient and suited our breakfast requirements. There is a Sizzler up the street from the motel. As stated great for an overnight stay.

"Make sure you take your ear plugs"
Chris B, 16 Octobre 2015

We chose this hotel/motel because it was roughly half-way between where we had been staying (San Diego) and where we were going (Sedona). The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast on our day of departure was fine. The problem however was that the walls were pretty thin so we could hear everything, and I mean EVERYTHING which went on next door! The a/c was loud enough to drown out the cries of pleasure from next door, but that only came on periodically; thankfully we had brought ear plugs with us!

"excellent stay"
Meredith O, 16 Octobre 2015

This location exceeded my expectations as I needed a place to stay overnight on my drive to CA. The room and breakfast was perfect and the staff were very friendly, warm, and nice to visit with. I will most certainly stay here again the next time I travel to and from CA.

"Perfect for travel stop."
melgary, 14 Octobre 2015

This was a one night stop on our first day of vacation trip to Sedona, AZ. Wasn't seeking or expecting much - just a rest stop to break up the long commute from the Los Angeles area. Was more than pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed the stay. The room was clean. The amenities were more than satisfactory. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were several eating places within walking distance. The complementary breakfast was fabulous and included eggs, sausage, bagels, cream cheese, yogurt, cereal, coffee, etc. etc. etc. It was a great way to start our trip on a positive note and made us very happy.

"Not Again"
Judy M, 07 Octobre 2015

During our trip we stayed at Best Western motels. We feel we can't go wrong. Mistake!! We will not stay again or recommend this motel. We were very disappointed. The room had a musty odor and the carpet was wet Breakfast was a disappointment. Breakfast room was in the lobby and very cramped.

"very nice location"
Stan L, 01 Octobre 2015

It was a very nice location and close the freeway and the place is comfortable and they are very helpful. Everything was in good working order. They very pleasant and it was very enjoyable experience for overnight stay.

"BW Sahara, Blythe, Cali."
David A, 26 Septembre 2015

Very good place. Good people. There was a young man who's name is Jordan. He was personable, friendly, and wanted to know that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. I would recommend this location to anyone.

"Hey this is Blythe so we were very pleased and surprised to find this hotel"
RandiLosAngeles, 15 Septembre 2015

One story older property very well maintained, attractive and large pool area, a generous and varied breakfast and best of all for us accepted dogs and the additional cost of $10.00 was very fair and appreciated since our dog is well behaved and we resent having to pay a substantial "pet" fee. We plan to return the next time we just can't make the drive all the way to Northern AZ.

"Great swimming pool but that's all it has to offer"

Great swimming pool but that's all it has to offer :( Room was abit dated and smelled of must very baddy. Bathroom was not cleaned to acceptable hotel standard. We will try another hotel if we ever stay in Blythe again

stayed here for dove season opener. had boat in tow ran into a problem with limited parking near room. Had to stay in a single queen room with a roll out once set up there was barely enough room to move around. didnt care too much for having to pay elevated rate for opening day and confusion on usage of rewards vouchers and gift cards.
