Best Western Territorial Inn & Suites

I was so excited to be staying here. When the front desk clerk told me the nightly rate of $200+, I was a little bit reserved but stayed anyway. Then we get to the room and there is a patch of stucco missing from a corner of the wall upon entering the room, there was also a 2 ft crack in the ceiling and the shower had no pressure. Then I called the front desk to see what the pool hours are and was told the pool had been closed for months as it was under construction and the manager wouldn't remove that amenity from the website. I went down to see it and there was nothing wrong that i could see, it just wasn't filled, there was no construction going on at all! I definitely WILL NOT be staying there at all, for that price it opens up a lot better options.

I found this property when the Farmington property was overbooked. I am glad it was. This place is clean, up to date, has friendly staff and good food. The internet is always fast for me. Parking is easy and carts are available if you have more than you can carry.

Would not recommend this hotel. It is not even an actual Best Western. It is privately owned so the staff feels they can treat you however they please. Nothing is done about thier horrific behavior either because they are privately owned .

I was ready to find a hotel like this one after a long drive. Friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast buffet. Was disappointed I couldn't stay and relax for another day or two.

Excellent hotel, easy check in. Very friendly staff. Just about as close as you could get to both Aztec Ruins National Monument and Chaco Canyon. When we visit these sites again we will return there. Great Mexican food at the family owned restaurant next door.

We stayed one night after visiting Chaco Culture Canyon, which is awesome. The lobby is amazing with paintings about the area. The breakfast lady was the best! She got us whatever she could to make our breakfast great. The room was old and needs to be updated bad. Not a four star hotel, but typical for the city.

Hotel is very clean, 4 floors and has an elevator. Lotaburger and KFC immediately across street and Speedway gas 2 doors down. 1 King room was spacious and has nice HVAC with loud fan to keep noise out. Gal that checked us in was super nice and welcoming..great service.

We stay at this motel when we are in the area. Very nice facility and staff. Very expensive during our last stat but was over a holiday weekend with events going on in town. Current downside - breakfast. Good but limited. Pre-wrapped sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits or burritos on a warmer. Friendly attendant will make waffles. Fresh fruit menu restored. Other typical breakfast items. Anxiously awaiting their return to pre-covid full hot breakfast menu. They are working on it. Still under some protocols. Very nice lobby and breakfast area. Last stay - June 2023. Really like this motel.

Room was clean and well stocked with coffee and tea. Internet was fast. Very fast. Speediest of four hotels we stayed in on this trip. Breakfast was varied. Lots of choice. Tables and chairs were clean and sturdy.

Nice room , lady in charge of breakfast was on duty well before 6 AM , and was friendly and pleasant! Internet was fine , bed was comfy , all in all a Best Western No Problem stay! I love it when staff is early prepping breakfast!

One night on the way to New Mexico and Texas. Staff were friendly and room was nice and quiet. Breakfast was fresh in the morning again with friendly staff. Wifi was constant and easy to access. will definitely stay again when down this way!

We stayed for one night in a king room. We asked for and were given a room in the back away from any road noises. The room and bathroom were very nice and comfortable, the hot breakfast was tasty with friendly staff. Front desk staff were also very nice. This was a great location for us between visiting Chaco Historical Park and Mesa Verde NP.

This hotel is fully renovated and has excellent breakfast choices. It seems fully staffed and will provide daily maid service upon request. It is clean and has a comfortable lobby. Good restaurants for meals other than breakfast are adjacent on both sides at the time of this review. This hotel is perfectly situated for visiting Chaco, Aztec Nat'l Monument, Salmon Ruins and the local shops in Bloomfield and Farmington. Also excellent value! It IS on a main road used by truckers, so if you are a light sleeper, request a room on the back side, although using the air conditioner (which runs continually rather than turning on and off) completely masked the road noise for us.

Hotel was clean and comfortable for one night. Good breakfast in the morning. The fridge in our room was on the loud side, but luckily it was close to the door and not the bed. Wish more hotels set up their fridges like that!

Pristine hotel! Well maintained! Nicely decorated! Exceptional breakfast! Fantastic/hospitable staff! 11 out of 10!! We were traveling cross country and from out of town. We happened to stop by this hotel past normal check in hours and they were able to provide us a fantastic room that met my family's needs. The beds and pillows were clean, inviting and very comfortable! The shower had the best water pressure I have ever experienced in a hotel. Slept soundly and peacefully the whole night long without a disturbance or any kind. The breakfast the next morning was sensational and the hotel staff were impeccable! I wish I had asked for the lady's name behind the front counter as she need to be recognized for her outstanding customer service and support. Hands down the best hotel I have ever visited. Well done Best Western Bloomfield NM! Well done!!

From the owner to the staff, their overall pride in excellent service and kindness is apparent! The hotel was very clean, rooms, and other areas too. Breakfast was continental, very fresh and attentive staff here as well. Overall, an awesome stay here and we will be back!!!

We stayed at the Best Western Territorial Inn for its proximity to Chaco Canyon. Our stay was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. They included a hot breakfast. The bathroom however was small. The bathroom sink was outside of the bathroom, although it was partitioned from the bed.

Was passing through the area and looking for a hotel for the night. The hotel was clean, priced right for the area. Wifi was ok, restaurants in the area, hotel was clean, breakfast was ok, about par with others.

Last minute stay at this hotel was perfect. It was very clean, well maintained and decorated so nice. Room was very big and spacious and breakfast was very good! Would definitely recommend staying here and for the price it was a great deal!

Enjoyed our stay while visiting Chaco, Aztec and Salmon Ruin. Very nice and very helpful staff. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Close to many restaurants. Free breakfast every morning. Free parking. No resort fees.

Staff was lovely and friendly, but ignored corporate and state masking requirements, unlike everywhere else we went in New Mexico. Only other issue was that the "squirrel" in the squirrel-cage air conditioner/heater blower apparently left one of her nuts in the blower, which tumbled and rattled every time the fan coasted to a stop--which was several times an hour all night. Fixing it would require more disassembly of the a/c than I was willing to undertake LOL!

We were traveling through the area and stopped without a previous reservation. Night manager was very helpful getting us a discount and giving us information on local places for supper. Room was clean and spacious. Hotel was quiet. Hot breakfast was filling. Murals in the lobby are gorgeous.

This is a really nice place to stay. Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. All the staff was professional and friendly. Andrew, at the front desk, was especially helpful and a pleasure to talk to. We enjoyed him very much.

On our way to Colorado. Just stopped for one night but it was good! Great front desk staff, clean rooms and good breakfast, hot items, great fruit. The Pool was under construction. Fairly quiet and the bed was good. We would stay here again if in the area.

I believe her Name is Emily. She was rude right off the bat. She definitely did not make us feel welcome. If I could give her service a 0 I would. Other than her bad attitude, everything else was exceptional.

Our rental car broke down in the middle of nowhere and we were able to get a ride to this great hotel. The front desk staff person, Desiree, was so helpful and sympathetic to our plight. She got us a great room and provided extra toiletries, toothbrushes, combs, etc. because we had nothing with us for what supposed to be a day trip. We were so lucky to find ourselves at this hotel which also had a good breakfast the next morning.

the staff was very nice helpful especially at check in. hotel looks older from the outside but pretty updated inside. The rooms were decent sized, beds comfortable, had a microwave and refrigerator. It was walking distance to a variety of restaurants and market. The breakfast surprised us as it was much more then continental. they had wrapped egg/sausage biscuits and also burritos, fresh fruit (watermelon and grapes) as well as the basics, cereal and bagels. The price was very reasonable for a weekend stay.

Overnight stay after a day at Chaco Canyon and en route to Mesa Verde. Easy access. Convenient to several restaurants (fast food and sit down). Check-in was a breeze. The clerk was very polite and engaging. Room (1 king) was clean and all the typical amenities present. If there was something wrong, I didn't notice it. Room faced the highway and while traffic noise was noticeable, it wasn't bothersome in the least. Plenty of room around the sink. Bathroom is oddly small. Not an "accessible" room so just FYI.

The hotel is in a small run down town in New Mexico but had a great staff and very nice room. The only downfall was the small bathroom and the bad wifi There was a very nice restaurant right next door. The hotel breakfast was very good

Super friendly staff. Quick check in and check out. The room was comfortable. I have stayed here multiple times and my only recommendation is get a room away from the highway. Other than that I have never had any troubles staying here.

I am a loyal Marriott customer. I was surprised to find this Beat Western to be very clean, smoke free, modern, and professional. Breakfast was good and the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming.

Picked this hotel because we were headed to Chaco Canyon and wanted someplace close. Bloomfield is the closest you can get with good lodging. Nice hotel and there is a restaurant next door if you don't want to drive for dinner. Rooms clean and comfy a real plus after being on Lake Powell for a week. Hot shower felt real good. Breakfast was plentiful and we were served a nice breakfast not a grab and go. Another plus. We will stay here again if in the area.

I've stayed here several times in the last 2 years and this hotel is winning! Here's why: 1. Super clean everywhere & always. Room above and beyond updated & healthy clean. Very cool lobby. 2. Check in Staff is super hospitable. By this I mean- friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, intelligent. True about all staff. The type of customer service you receive is hard to find in New Mexico. But their cup runneth over here and I look forward to staying here. 3. Breakfast. Amazing as always. During covid - excellent, they still go above and beyond with breakfast. They send you off with an amazing hearty, great tasting meal. The secret- the woman who makes it does so with pride, care and love for guests and her job! She's the reason we stay at this hotel! We go to the lake all day and prefer to stay here. 4. Parking. There is parking for trucks with boats on North side of building. Also, just north of that in between restaurant and hotel, there is a big lot for semi-trucks to park. 5. Checking out. Everyone busy doing their work with smiles on faces and taking time to happily wish you goodbye!

The only issue we experienced was that the 2nd level guests were noisy and did not quiet down until 12:00 - 1:00 am. BW Territorial Inn had the best bkf of all the BW stays we experienced, since covid. They served hot Bkf Burritos on request.

I stayed one night at the Best Western in Bloomfield. The front desk staff was super friendly. I was checked in quickly and with great conversation. The ladies gave me advice on local restaurants that were allowing to go orders. Even with the restrictions on grab and go breakfast, it was amazing. Thank you for a great stay.

Fast friendly check in, reasonable rates, clean room. All employees were friendly quick to respond to my needs. The breakfast wide variety and delicious. I spend a lot of time on the road and definitely be back. I wish other places I have stayed at had been as nice

And worth every penny! It was those little things that totaled a great experience. Like the curved shower rod, the deep bathroom sink, the little extra spaciousness of the room. Plus a microwave and small fridge that were unexpected. Heat source was whisper quiet. Loved having the hot tub spa available after our day of hiking Chaco.

I made a reservation using the so-called Free Night Voucher. At check-in, not so friendly clerk said the voucher was invalid. She did not offer any help except to read to me what her computer stated. I had to call Reservations myself to get it straightened out. No one followed up, not the front desk and not BW. I will definitely think twice about staying at BW.

Arriving to the front desk there was a young lady (without a name tag) who would not even greet us. She behaved as if she was doing us a personal favor for letting us stay at this property. After the stay the chain sent me a questionnaire if I was greeted and recognized as a Diamond Select BW Rewards member, if I was satisfied with the welcome gift, etc. I would have been satisfied if the young lady would have said, "hi, how's your day going", in the first place. I tried to ignore her attitude, she must live with herself, I'm sure it must be a burden. The 2-queen room and the whole property were severely dated, it felt like walking into a room in the late 1980s with the dark colors and the heavy-style furniture decor. For the rates they were charging one would expect they would update and refresh at least a bit. Luckily, cleanliness was fine. WiFi was terrible, it kept breaking up and you had to sign in again everytime you opened your device. Uploading even a single photo took minutes. It felt as if they were still on dial-up. The only nice surprise was breakfast, it was better than the average BW, the attendant was also friendly and in good spirits. I was glad I was there just for the night. For a BW Plus property it was a disappointment.

They were so sweet and have many gluten/dairy free choices for their breakfast options! They also use only olive oil for the eggs and potatoes! They are so sweet and so helpful, they are our home away from home when visiting Bloomfield.

We enjoyed this clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! I always enjoy the pool and hot tub too! The hotel was quiet and I appreciated the cookies upon arrival. It was a perfect stay before heading to Chaco Canyon!

Very nice hotel experience. We had a third floor room which was nice and quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Cookies at desk late afternoon a nice touch. Room large and clean. Clean carpets that look fairly new. Nice to see plenty of room at end of Ed's to move about. Nice to see separate sink, mirror and good lighting in alcove outside bathroom. Good sized bathroom. TV had DirectTV like many in Southwest but with many more channel choices than most.

I wasn't at all impressed upon arrival. First of all, we passed the place by as the sign was not lit up. I had requested a first floor room ( I have mobility issues ) and was given a room on the third floor. I am a Diamond rewards member and was told I couldn't have a simple upgrade to a King room and was given the noisiest room in the building, beside the elevator. There wasn't even any ice on our floor. I guess that's how this hotel treats guests who are staying on reward points. The wifi was a joke! It was slower than the dial-up we used to have years ago. We also had to sign in every time we opened our computer. At all the other hotels we stayed at on our trip our computer was signed in for our entire stay. It was quite annoying. The sink was outside of the bathroom, but the vanity was small and didn't have enough room for our toiletry bag. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The beds were low to the ground and hard. The mattresses weren't of the best quality. The saving grace of this hotel was the breakfast. Hands down the best included breakfast I've ever had at a chain hotel. There was both bacon and sausage and home fried potatoes. They had a large assortment of fruit including sliced melons, grapes, and big strawberries. They even had fried eggs!!!! Even though they were over hard, real eggs, Yeah! The attendant was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast room was large and surrounded by beautiful murals. I would suggest adding a few more tables, as they may be needed at peak times. There was enough space to easily accommodate 4 more tables. I wish I could have given my review more stars, especially after such a wonderful breakfast, but I was most disappointed not to have received a better room as one of their top rewards members. Also, the wifi was the worst we had on our two week road trip,

Booked this hotel to be somewhat near Chaco Canyon. Was not expecting much as I had been through Bloomfield before, but trust Best Western to be at least clean. This hotel far exceeded my expectations, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast. The reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is that the room itself could have used a bit of a facelift....some peeling on walls in bedrooom area and bath. We were upgraded to a king suite because of my platinum level. Extremely roomy with separate tv areawith couch and easy chair.

I loved how friendly the staff were. We were going to Durango, CO for some sightseeing and the staff were very helpful in letting us know some fun things we could do there. We also enjoyed the breakfast. Everything was very fresh and the area was very clean.

We stayed the night before beginning an extended stay in Durango. Basic rooms. Great murals in the lobby. Good pool and hot tub. Definitely the best choice in Bloomington. Oh. Good breakfast. Waffles, sausages, fried and scrambled eggs. Oatmeal. Yogurt. Bagels.

The outside of the hotel and lobby are very nice. There's a wonderful toy train and cars that is up high in the lobby. The reception staff turn on the locomotion and the kids just love it. There are gorgeous wall murals of the surrounding points of interests. The rooms were definitely a disappointment. The furniture and the walls in the room are old and outdated. The bed was uncomfortable. The best experience are the staff from the registration crew, to the breakfast and the cleaning personnel. They were very friendly and helpful..

We stayed here for three nights. This was the perfect location in order to visit the museums and galleries and cultural sites to experience all that the four corners region has to offer. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was by far the best. The rooms are a little dated but they were very clean.

We recently stayed 2 nights while fishing the San Juan River. The hotel was very clean and inviting with fresh cookies at the check-in. The front desk clerk, Cimarron was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was tastefully decorated and clean. My husband loved the pillows. We will definitely return when in the area.

When visiting Chaco Canyon NHP you will not have a motel right in the proximity, so we found the Best Western in Bloomfield called the Territorial Inn to be the best fit. Hwy. 550 is right out the door and will get you within 38 miles of the turnoff to the park. The staff is great and after a long hike, the Road Side Restaurant next door is fantastic and more than fairly priced. Beer is served as well.

The Best Western in Broomfield is well worth the price. Clean rooms, very friendly staff, and a much better than average free breakfast. The pool and hot tub were well maintained, just the ticket after a long day on the road.

I reserved two nights, but cancelled the second. On the second day I needed another night. The clerk remembered me and reserved me the same room. When I checked in she also remembered and I did not have to scan my payment card. On the darker side, they don't soften their very hard water. So, after a weekend of hot, dusty effort, washing our hair was not a delight. Beds are comfortable and breakfast was fine.

Booked the last room late at night on Expedia. Was so glad to get it. Had a great night sleep. Very clean. Great service. My only complaint the elevator could use some service it was a little loud and I could hear it thru the wall. But very happy with our stay

I had a really hard time at the Best Western Territorial. I am dumb founded by all the good reviews. I wonder if Trip Advisor recognizes the issues some folks have with mold and chemicals?? I have Environmental Illness and severe chemical sensitivities. Upon arrival to my room, I smelled a strong Lysol smell along with air fresheners. T he comforters had apparently been sprayed with Lysol, yet they clearly are not washed between guests. I had an immediate reaction to the comforter, before I even got into the bed; I had hives and a very fast heart rate. I had to sleep with the windows open and only sheets covering me. The next day, I had to go out and buy my own sheets and blankets. The next day, the same thing happened again (though this time, I was savvy enough to wash (my own) sheets and blankets in the hotel washer. Apparently, the housekeeper had been in my room and sprayed more chemicals. When I complained to the hotel staff, I was told that the housekeeper is doing what she's supposed to do to clean the room. I'm sure it's not the housekeeper's fault, but air fresheners do not "clean" the air; they merely mask other smells, and sometimes mold. They are potent neurotoxins as well. In addition, the staff reminded me that this is not a dog friendly hotel , and that the hotel had to use more chemicals when a guest brought a service dog. That makes no sense to me at all; since many of the people who bring service dogs would likely be even more sensitive to chemicals.

I had the pleasure of staying 6 nights! The room was nice and the staff was wonderful! The breakfast was the best I ever had at a hotel! I would highly recommend it! Well worth the stay!If I travel that area again, I would stay again!

We stay here whenever we go through this area. The staff are always very friendly. The rooms have always been very clean with NO bad oders. The pool area was clean. The entry inside is very nice and clean.

I was given a room and when I walked in there was someone in there. Got a new room and when I laid down the beds were old that you could feel the springs on the back. Other than that everything was fine.

This is by far one of the nicest Best Westerns I have stayed in. Although the location surrounding the hotel is not the fanciest, the hotel was extremely clean, fairly updated, and the staff was really friendly. I would stay here again if I was ever in the area.

From the very first phone call, everything was perfect. Lovely property with nicely manicured grounds. Fantastic customer service (thank you Andreah & Ivory!) Everyone we met on staff was smiling, friendly, professional. My husband wears a leg brace so we appreciated being placed in a ground floor room. Automatic front doors. Room was spotless & spacious. Beds were super comfortable with four fat, fluffy pillows. Generous supply of bright white towels. Free wifi with great signal. Parking lot was well lit and we felt our vehicles were safe. Continental had lots of hot & cold choices and was well tended & restocked as needed. Tranquil park like sitting area out back and a huge gas BBQ available for guests. The large murals in the hotel depicting the history of the area were awesome !!! Definitely our first choice in the area :-)

Chose Bloomfield because I had arranged a tour to Chaco Canyon from a Navajo settlement on Highway 550. The Best Western came up as a good choice for Bloomfield and as I had always found Best Western Motel/Hotels in Australia as good value, I booked it for two nights. I rang ahead as I was driving down from the Grand Canyon and with the time change to CST I arrived at 8:30 PM. Reception was helpful and friendly having assured me that there was no problem arriving at that time. The room I had been allocated was excellent although immediately opposite the lift and above the entrance and parking area but pleasantly no noise. Breakfast both mornings were included and very good. Being situated on Highway 550 made it an excellent choice as well. Definitely recommended.

This has beautiful grounds and the rooms were nice. The black out curtains worked great. I liked it had a tub too, not just a shower. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. A great place to stay in Bloomfield.

We had been road tripping around Northern New Mexico, National Park hopping and need a place near Chaco Canyon. This gem of a hotel popped up as the best (pun definitely intended) choice in town. They were not kidding. Very reasonable rates, large rooms, very comfy beds, and s good assortment of pillows to choose from. The front desk personal are friendly and welcoming. There is a very nice back patio area with lots of seating and a grill. The breakfast buffet is among the best I have ever had. 3 choices of egg(scrambled, fried and hard boiled), waffles made to order, Sausage gravy and biscuits, either party or link sausage and bacon. A really nice touch was the orange slices they put in the cold water. I will definitely recommended that any one planning to visit Chaco or the surrounding area to stay here. I know I will return someday.

We were on our way to Farmington to get a hotel room when we stumbled across this Best Western. Since it would knock off another 40 miles round trip on our trip to Chaco the next day, we thought we'd check it out. Check in was quick and easy; the front desk staff was pleasant. The painted murals of local scenery on the walls in the lobby and breakfast were nicely done. I enjoyed viewing them. The room was spacious. We could actually get the luggage cart into the room without an ordeal! That's a plus. :) I liked that the blanket on the beds were not the ones that don't 'breathe'. I did not spend the entire night kicking off blankets. The beds were comfortable and the room was in very nice condition. The breakfast... OMG!! That was wonderful! Nice fresh fruit assortment, the choice of eggs was nice (fried over medium, hard boiled, scrambled, and no powdered egg stuff), a waffle bar, several bread options, ... lots and lots of choices. And, of course, coffee, juices, etc.. We were so impressed with this location that we returned a week later and will return to this location if ever in this area again. Nicely done, Best Western!

Decided to stay at this Best Western over the one in Farmington after reading reviews about the other one being noisy with traffic. So glad I did. This place exceeded all expectations. The place looks new from the recent renovation. Room looked new and very clean. (I even check around the base of the bed and it was very clean) Breakfast was way beyond all expectations with two different types of eggs, bacon, sausage(both patties and links), seasoned breakfast potatoes, at least 5 kinds of cereal, waffles made for you and more. There was fresh fruit which included sliced watermelon, grapes, strawberries,apples and bananas. The decor was very nice and the staff great. Lots of parking. Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

They are all professionals, friendly, accommodating, just a fun wonderful bunch! Lots of laughter and engaging, concerned people. Hotel is clean and the courtyard in back is a wonderful feature. Very relaxing, comfortable and quiet.

We've stayed at this Best Western twice in the last two months. Rooms and breakfast are just what you'd expect with a BW branded hotel. An added plus to this property is the restaurant next door which serves great food at a very reasonable price. It's informal and doesn't look great from the outside but the food is tasty.

This place is incredible! I'd go 50 miles out of my way to stay here, that's how great it is. The building looks new and has adobe Native American look to it. There's an indoor hot tub/spa, pool, outdoor patio with bbq, tables n chairs and another patio with lounge chairs for basking in the sun. Nice grassy area. Full breakfast that's included: waffles, 2 styles of eggs, 2 types of sausage, bacon, potatoes, fruits, cereals, juices, coffee/teas, granola, etc. rooms are immaculate and have conditioner—which women like me love (no shampoo-conditioner combo), all sorts of in room amenities. All for budget price...seriously why would anyone ever stay elsewhere?

Rooms were clean, staff was great. Breakfast was not bad either. They were remodeling while we were there so the expected paint smells were obvious. We sat out in the patio area and had some beer and chatted about our final day of vacation. Good times!

Excellent hotel and staff. Remodeling so some rooms still have older beds and decor but should be done soon. The best breakfast buffet I have ever had at a chain hotel. Even had fried eggs which is a rarity

We were doing a big tour of the Four Corners region, and moved around several nights for a week. Usually we stayed in Best Western properties. This one was the best. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. They had a very good hot breakfast with numerous items. Much better than the typical "free breakfast" found at many hotels. It's a great base location for visiting Chaco Canyon. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I like best western, but they arent the most comfortable beds on the market, but their not totally bad. They are pretty clean, the breakfast is on par with all the others, unless you want to go large.

The people here are so very nice and accommodating! The beds were very comfortable. Good showers. There was a high school wrestling team there when we were and they did a good job locating us as far from them as possible. That was very thoughtful! Really nice breakfast that was actually cooked there!

Excellent hotel near Chaco Canyon. This hotel deserves more than 5 stars! The property is outstanding but the service was above and beyond... We had forgotten a 'fanny pack' in the room when leaving and we discovered it missing when we were half way to Santa Fe. I called the hotel, and they had the pack and would send it on to us. It took a while but Andrew came through for us and we now have our pack. Very helpful and professional staff. We can strongly recommend this hotel!

I generally stay at BW. But this BW is the cleanest, friendliest one I have had the pleasure of visiting. Even had fresh fried eggs on the breakfast menu. I have stayed in newer places that were not kept up as well as this one.

Great place and location. If you want a good breakfast get there early. The breakfast is so good that the early risers tend to be hoarders. By eight AM half of the hot breakfast was gone and according to the staff this was normal. I don't understand why the hotel doesn't stock more food.

We did not think that we could get a better welcome at this hotel than we did last time, but the welcome we received this time was fantastic. After travelling over 200 Miles that day, we were welcomed by Name as we walked through the front door, it was like the Young Lady on the front desk was welcoming old friends. We got the same welcome when we saw the General Manager, it was almost like we were visiting Family, even though this is only the second time we have stayed here. This hotel is in a good location and is easy to find, on US 550, just 1 block down from the junction with US 64, and it has plenty of parking space. The whole hotel is really clean and the beds are very comfortable. They also have a Guest Laundry with supplies available from the front desk, very useful, if like us you are on a "Road Trip" lasting several weeks. The complimentary breakfast is very good, with an excellent range of fresh and cooked food, and plenty of it. There is a variety of different bread, cereal, meat, eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, coffee, fruit juice, Etc. You will not leave here hungry. The staff in the breakfast area are also very friendly and helpful, and cannot do enough to help you. Once again the Young Ladies on the front desk (We met 4 different ones a various times throughout our stay) and the General Manager could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We stayed here for 4 days on this visit as we explored more of the places in the area. We were asked if we needed directions, maps or any other information, all the staff were very helpful. Sadly you don't get service like this very often today, just another reason why this hotel rates 5 Stars, we would give it more if we could. There are various "Fast Food" outlets within walking distance, "Lotta Burger, KFC, Domino's, Burger King, Subway Etc. There are also various restaurants, there is a "Farmer's Market" on a nearby corner. There are various local convenience stores close by, either within walking distance or a short drive. Should you require a bigger store, there are 2 Walmart stores in Farmington which is about 15 Miles away, ask at the front desk of the hotel for directions. The "Salmon Ruins" are less than 3 Miles away. The "Aztec Ruins" are 10 Miles away about a 20 Minute drive. There is a Gas Station and a Post Office also within walking distance. Angel Peak is approximately 15 Miles away, the views from here are stunning, and this is a good place for seeing the night sky. We do however recommend that if you are going to visit this area at night, first of all visit it in daylight, to give you a better idea of what the road is like, it can be uneven in places. There is also Navajo Lake which is 43 Miles from here, The Durango & Silverton Railway is 45 Miles away, approximately 1 Hours drive along US 550, the views along the route are also fantastic. All these places are well worth the effort to go and see them, not only for the scenery, but also for their historic past. This hotel is a great place to stay whether you are just staying one night, or staying several nights to be able to explore the area like we did. We definitely recommend this hotel and we are looking forward to staying here again, the next time we are in the area.

The Best Western in Bloomfield NM is always our first consideration when we travel west. It is always clean, and well managed. The staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is always delicious and we would recommend it to all highway travelers.

Easy to reach, Best Western Plus Territorial Inn & Suites lives up to the Best Western standards. Service is friendly, rooms are well groomed and the location is convenient. We were appreciative that we could make reservations so late when our travel plans changed.

This was our first trip traveling with our newborn baby for a wedding my husband was in. We went to check into the hotel at 9PM after the rehearsal dinner and our room stunk of cigarette smoke. We went back to the front desk to inquire about getting a different room as this hotel is a smoke free hotel. All the rooms were booked due to a festival going on nearby. The front desk lady offered to spray the room to cover up the scent of the cigarette smoke. This was not an acceptable fix considering my newborn baby would be exposed to second hand smoke along with all of our belongings so I declined the offer and asked for a refund. The lady at the front desk was very nice and tried to call surrounding hotels to see if they had any rooms available. Unfortunately every hotel surrounding us was booked due to this festival going on. When we asked for a refund I was told I would have to contact the agency who we booked our hotel through since I went through Trip Advisors and not Best Westerns directly. I was told that they would call for me and handle it due to the situation. The following week when I had still not seen the refund on my account for the hotel room. So I called Best Western hotel and I was rudely told that I was to contact the agency and that it wasn't their problem even after I explained to this new lady what I had been told by the lady I had dealt with in the past. She then proceeded to tell me that they had called and their was never any record of me purchasing a hotel room through them...I ended up just calling the agency myself and they were wonderful to deal with. I told them the situation and they handled the problem immediately, apologized numerous of times even though none of it was their fault and told me that Best Westerns had never even attempted to contact them. Overall I was very disappointed in the overall experience with this Best Western and how it was handled. We were very fortunate to have been able to stay with some family/friends out in Blanco after our long day of traveling.

My son and I stayed here last night. We were both so tired from driving. It was the perfect place to stop! The front desk employees were very nice. We had a two queen bed room. Each of our beds were very comfortable. Our room was large and quiet. Breakfast, including fried eggs among the available hot items, filled us both up. If ever in this area again I would definitely stay here again. I have travelled extensively throughout the United States and the world. For many reasons, including those described, I highly recommend this hotel to others looking for accommodations in this area.

We stayed on the upper floor and watched beautiful sunsets. The room was immaculate, as well as the rest of the facility. Real eggs for breakfast, great fruit...more. the fron desk staff were wonderful. What a gem after touring the historical sites in the area.

A very comfortable but unassuming hotel in the little town of Bloomfield, NM, just north of fascinating Chaco Canyon and very close to two related archeological sites, Salmon and Aztec ruins. Rooms in the rear of the building are probably a bit quieter, as there is a busy street in the front.

We intended camping, but the weather didn't cooperate, so we camped at Best Western. We were pleased with our room--it was comfortable and actually had some seating other than the bed and a hard chair. Most importantly for me, the bathroom and bedroom were extremely well-cleaned. The mattress and bedding were comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was done very nicely done; there were a Lot of choices. And I should add, the rates were quite reasonable.

We enjoyed the cleanliness and friendly staff. Room was comfortable. it is a quiet hotel. Breakfast was a great buffet. We enjoyed the huge murals in the lobby and breakfast room which reflected the history and beautiful scenery of that area.

I wasn't feeling well the first night of two spent in Bloomfield. The staff and the comfort of the bed and cleanliness of the rooms made me welcome and well rested by the second day. I would definitely recommend this hotel for that reason and the fact that it is close to Chaco Canyon, Aztec Ruins and Hovenweep Monument.

Pulled in late afternoon up from Chaco Canyon. The room was a king; clean and spacious with a good bed and great shower - the later defined as good shower head and hot hot water. No in room safe, but I only stayed one night. The breakfast was incredible and the best not only on this trip but better than many I had stayed at over the years. I was thankful for that because only on vacation do I eat a hearty breakfast - no lunch - fairly big dinner. They had waffles to order, biscuits and gravy, fried and scrambled eggs, links, cereal, large selection of bread, fruit and yogurt, a variety of drinks both hot and cold and I am sure I have missed something. My room faced the main highway but never heard any noise so good insulation. Lots of eateries within walking distance with one right next door. I chose BBQ which I drove to but it to was not that far and I had I not walked all day at Chaco, I would have walked there. Gas stations also practically next door. Everything was convenient. If you are traveling to Taos or about there, gas up if running low. You won't find a station until Dulce, then Chama. Only about two more after that till Taos. I like Bloomfield. Quaint and I may come back through and if so, I will not hesitate to stay here again.

Staying at this hotel is more like visiting good friends. Warm & friendly welcome, everything about this hotel is very clean, beds are comfortable. A good selection of different food for breakfast, which was well cooked & well presented. The staff in the breakfast room were also very friendly.

This place was wonderful and the closest we could find to Chaco Canyon N.P. Front desk staff very welcoming. The room was clean and large with a very nice bed. We found the perfect meal across the street at Lot-a-Burger. The next morning we had a wonderful breakfast at the Best Western. Even fried eggs, lots of fruit. Defiantly would stay here again

This was the first time we stayed in a Best Western and we were pleasantly surprised. We were traveling in the four corners area of the Southwest U.S. and decided to visit Chaco Culteral Center. There were a limited amount of places to stay on the northwest side of Chaco which would give us the best access. This is a small hotel in a small town so we weren't sure what to expect, but felt confident because we checked the ratings on Tripadvisor before booking. This hotel is a nice place to stay and Bloomfield has non-chain restaurants whick have great food. The hotel staff was great, the rooms were very clean and the breakfast was good and plentiful. We would definitely stay here again.

I was very surprised with the quality of this hotel. Being located in a small town 20 minutes from Farmington, I was not expecting to find a place this nice. The hotel was clean. I travel frequently and stay in hotels 40-50 nights a year. The bathroom in my room at this hotel was the cleanest I have experienced.

I have stayed at many Best Westerns and this one is beautiful for above any I have visited in the past. The layout of rooms and services were well thought out, best I have every seen. The breakfast was well presented ,quality of food was very good I highly recommend this hotel..

A very clean well taken care of facility. Would definitely stay again. Wife and I were both impressed. Not much to do in the town, but we were going to Chaco Culture National Historic monument, and this hotel was ideally located dated.

I cannot say enough about the quality of facilities, service and food at this out of the way location, Bloomfield, in the heart of GAs/Oil country, Northern New Mexico. We had a little noise from children above our room (we will ask for 3rd floor next time) and were distressed by unattended minors in pool and spa which I realize is hard to monitor. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, the service cheerful and efficient and the breakfast one of the best I have ever had at a chain motel.

Our stay was WONDERFUL. We were traveling with another couple and arrived early. We were greeted like appreciated guests and not only were we allowed to check in early, we were upgraded to a suite and our online rate was discounted. The room was lovely, well appointed and clean with a sitting area that held a sofa, coffee table and second TV. The breakfast was FABULOUS. When most hotels provide you with nothing more than a carb overload, the breakfast here included both fried and scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, juice, yogurt, waffles and all the standards. The staff was marvelous and I highly recommend this property whether you are in the area for business or to visit the local ruins.

Stay here every year for one night either going to or coming from the four corners area......excellent hotel and the price makes it awesome...Everything in Colorado would be 25-50 dollars higher..I-40 motels are junkier and higher also..love this place..

This is a great BW Hotel, although a little too pricey for the area of NM. Rooms and whole hotel premises are always clean, they recently upgraded the shower heads a much better experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Arrived just a little bit after two in the afternoon and was fortunate to discover that check-in time was at 2:00 PM. The desk staff was very professional and quickly checked me into my room. The room was well laid-out and the room was sufficiently cool upon arrival. The breakfast the next morning was sufficiently varied and was good. Would easily recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

We hadn't stayed in a Best Western in years, and this particular location was highly recommended to us by friends and family who had stayed in the area before. Rooms and amenities were spotless and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I was also impressed that the soundproofing in our room was. The breakfast attendant was such a pleasant touch, too. A very friendly face in the morning!

I have been staying here for the last five years on business and the staff are always professional and very friendly. They know me by my first name and that makes me feel valued. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable and their breakfast is always ready on time and their food is plentiful and wonderful. Their exercise room is excellent. I really enjoy staying here and will continue to do so.

We highly recommend the Best Western Territorial Inn & Suites when in the Bloomfield area. We have been staying at this Best Western every year over the last 10 years and will not stay anywhere else. Been to this hotel 3 times now and every time has been great! I go with a large group of about 30 people and they're always accommodating. Stayed here while touring Chaco Canyon (about 1 1/2 hours away). The hotel is new, with a very pretty lobby and has a welcoming and helpful front desk staff. The King Suite is spacious although bathroom is small. Shower water pressure is great, even on the 3rd floor. The room was very quiet, and the AC unit was relatively quiet as the fan stays on. Breakfast starts at 6am and is nicely done in a lovely area with better than average breakfast offerings. Coffee is good, hot and plentiful. Not luxurious, but a great Best Western. Tip: for a quiet room, request one that faces the back, away from the busy road in front.

We are gold members with Best Western, so we stay with them as often as feasible. What a BEAUTIFUL hotel. I can't put my finger on why this particular place stood out, but I think it has to do with the fact that it's in Bloomfield, New Mexico, & the only other place we have stayed is Best Western in Ruidoso. Emily at the front desk was GREAT.

We went to New Mexico to explore the Chaco Canyon area and other ancient ruin sites. After either snowy cold days of hiking or hiking in ninety degree weather, we could come back to the Best Western and regroup for the next day's hike. The pool and hot tub are great! The fitness area had everything for an avid runner/hiker like myself.

Whether travelling to visit the National Parks or enroute to/from business engagements in the region, if you want or need the convenience and supportive amenity of an accessible & convenient place to stay; this Best Western property is a jewel! Not only are the facilities and accommodations welcoming and comfortable; but the professionalism and friendliness of the Staff are especially noteworthy. A wonderful oasis awaits you at this BW Motel. The breakfast is well prepared and presentation is excellent. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere attended by gracious hosts.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Better than average breakfast buffet. Friendly attentive staff. Had a loose bathroom tile which was allowing ants inside. I let the staff know and it was repaired when we returned from dinner.

We planned to stay in Farmington, but when I called for reservations, it was full. So the agent suggested the Bloomfield location. What good luck for us! Room was clean and neat. Breakfast was great with "real" eggs. They had scrambled eggs and over easy. Breakfast area was well kept. Staff was friendly at check in and check out.

Stayed here on our way to Chaco Canyon. Considering everything (including very wet weather), the hotel was better than we expected. It helped that the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Included breakfast had choice of several hot dishes. Pretty good. Clearly the best motel in the area.

I've stayed here quite a few times over the years. Every time I visit Chaco Canyon I book a room here. Front desk staff is nice and they always give me an upgrade to a suite. They have a great breakfast with a good selection (fresh strawberries are always nice!), served in a beautiful room. During my last stay I noticed that the 3rd floor button in the elevator wasn't working properly (you always had to push it several times until it worked), which was already the case 1.5 years ago. Don't know if this is a recurring problem or if they just haven't fixed it yet. Also, having to ask the front desk folks for the key to the business center every time you want to use it is quite inconvenient. In most hotels I know the business center isn't locked or you can open it with your room key which is a lot more convenient.

I and 4 coworkers stayed here for two weeks while working at Chaco Canyon. We all agreed this was the best breakfast any of us had in a hotel. All of the staff was friendly and nice to talk to. Would highly recommend staying here.

Very clean and spacious rooms. We especially appreciated the refrigerator that kept everything very cold. The complete breakfast was great with a large variety of foods. Very FRIENDLY service was experienced from the front desk, housekeeping and everyone employed there always had a FRIENDLY hello. I highly recommend this lovely gem in the high desert of New Mexico. You will not be disappointed.

We traveled through on a road trip and didn't want to go put the way to Farmington. This was also a late night stop on the way to Mesa Verde NP but worked out well. Breakfast was also great. Would stay here again

Went to Bloomfield, NM to fish at Lake Navajo. Very nice hotel located off of the main highway. Staff was very friendly. Full breakfast was served with a variety of different food choices. Rooms were very clean. Nice pool and relaxing hot tub. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Nice clean rooms, great wifi, great HD cable TV, amazing, fresh, delicious breakfast in a very nice dining room, friendly staff, wonderful location for touring the Anasazi ruins. This facility is dedicated to superior customer experience.

We stay at Best Western Hotels a lot whilst we are touring in the USA and are used to a warm welcome, but the welcome we got at this hotel will take some beating. My wife and I arrived at this hotel about 21:00 Hours having driven about 150 Miles, whilst we were booking in the two young ladies on the front desk asked where we were from and what we were hoping to see in the area, by the time my wife and I had been back to our car to collect our luggage and returned to the front desk, the young ladies had printed out lots of information about places to eat, things to see, places to go and all the maps and information we could possibly have required and a lot more besides. We were welcomed and treated not as guests but more like old friends or even family, this continued the following day with all the staff we had the pleasure of meeting. We stayed three days and we really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were excellent, the beds very comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful and very good. This hotel is ideally placed should you want to visit the Aztec National Monument which is 10 Miles away, the Salmon Ruins which are 3 miles away and less than 20 Miles from Angel Peak Scenic Area. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. We are planning another visit to this area and will without doubt be staying at this hotel

This hotel is excellent! Slept better than I have slept in months. Am staying there this weekend as well for 2 nights! e stayed in a lot of motels and hotels. This is one of the best. Everyone was very polite and am going to be staying there every time I have meeting in the area. Cannot say enough about the quality of this hotel.

Comfortable and quiet room. Plentiful and varied breakfast - nearby restaurant available. It took us about 1.5 hr to drive to Chaco, but it was well worth it. Very helpful front desk and staff. Rooms seem to have been recently renovated.

Motel is very well maintained. Grounds are clean, lobby is inviting, staff was very friendly and helpful (they knew the area), rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast had a nice variety and presentation was good.

The friendliest, professional, accommodating staff I have encountered in my travels across New Mexico from Clayton to Gallup. They make sure that my billing is correct and that I have Salsa for my breakfast eggs. They are engaging and fun people. They make sure that the computers are working and they even helped me get my reports distributed.

I was in this motel nearly a month while on a work detail in 2012. I was extremely satisfied with the service, cleanness, and location. When I realized I would be in the area again in October of 2016 I thought I would go back. I was surprised to find the motel as fresh and clean looking as I had remembered it four years ago. This is truly a great motel in a great location.

We stayed here one night while on our way from AZ to Chaco Canyon. A bonus was its proximity to Aztec Ruins. The motel was clean and comfortable. The adjoining Roadside Restaurant had ok food. Entire stay at the hotel was nice experience.

Fine hotel for the cost. No problems. Only issue was highway noise. Good breakfast. Would recommend, and would stay here again. Next door to a great home-cooking restaurant, and several chain restaurants.

We were visiting Chaco Canyon. It is a good location. Room exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable. Really good breakfast. Adjacent restaurants not that good, I would probably seek out alternatives. I would stay here again.

I stayed here before going to Chaco. This is a very nice Best Western. Rooms were a nice size and the bed was comfortable. I liked the little touches such as Pantene shampoo and napkins near the microwave. Very thoughtful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel.

I found the Best Western Territorial Inn & Suites in Bloomfield NM to be absolutely delightful. A large number of our family members stayed at the hotel and we has great rooms and a delicious hot breakfast every day. I took advantage of the pool and hot tub, as well. I will happily stay there again when visiting my family at the Wines of San Juan!

We spent 4 nights at the BW Territorial Inn & Suites in Bloomfield, NM. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always greeting us. Nicely decorated, with murals of the history of the area. Room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we enjoy. Breakfast was excellent, and Kaira kept everything supplied and fresh. She took special interest in her customers, and took pride in doing a good job. We would definitely stay here again.

We choose Bloomfield as being closest to Chaco Culture NP. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and service at BW Territorial. The entire property is tastefully designed, with a spacious breakfast room, with menu offerings worthy of a good restaurant. Our room seemed brand new, and the bedding was exceptional. The front desk lady (we checked-in late) was cheerful and helpful, and the woman tending to the breakfast was kind and friendly. (There's a full supermarket, Farmer's Market, right around the corner if you need to stock up if you're heading out into the wilderness!)

We were heading to Chaco Canyon and chose this BW because it was closest and had good TA reviews. It was a good choice. We were very pleased with our stay there. Checking in and out both went very smoothly, the King room was very well laid out and clean. We had a slight problem with a lamp and A.J. quickly responded and took care of the issue. He also suggested a near-by Chinese restaurant for dinner which proved to be a real success. Emily and Monica, who were on the desk, were very friendly and helpful. Did I mention the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies provided at the desk at check in? This BW had the best breakfast set-up and food of any of the hotels we stayed in during the 7 days we were in NM, AZ and SW CO. Lynn was making waffles to order and tending to the rest of the breakfast bars' various components. Everyone did their job with a smile and sent us on our way, having had a good night's sleep and a delicious breakfast.

I have stayed at this motel 2 times in the past 2 months while visiting my boyfriend. I have enjoyed the hotel as well as the staff. The rooms were very comfortable and the décor was very modern. The staff were amazing.

I was with a group of 8 on a motorcycle ride. The hotel was easy to find and looked great from the outside. We checked in and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We went to use the hot tub and the water was perfect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling this way. The breakfast was the same as most hotels but the area was clean and they had plenty for everyone.

We were headed to Colorado and we stopped at this hotel. We had no issues with checking in, checking out, or the breakfast. That was great as well and the young lady making the breakfast and managing that section was awesome. I would definitely stay here again.

I love going to the Best Western Territorial and Suites. They are the best people to talk to and resolve any problems you need help with. The facility is always clean and well maintained. The staff is engaging, fun and professional.

What a great stay, staff was excellent, the rooms and all amenities were perfect.One of the best breakfast we had at a hotel! I can not find anything bad to say about this Hotel. We stayed here because of the prices in Durango and was well worth the 30 minute drive.

Assigned me to a smoking room after reserving a non-smoking room. They nicely changed it the following morning. The air conditioner blew stale dusty air. The room was overly hot when we checked in. The maintenance of this building seems to be slipping from previous stays.

The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is friendly. They have plenty of food choices for breakfast. We didn't swim, but the pool looked clean as well. It wasn't working, but the kids loved the train that ran around the top of the first floor. It was definitely a neat place to stay and we definitely felt pretty safe there.

The lobby and breakfast area are uniquely decorated with wonderful paintings. We were also pleased with the room because it was large enough to have 2 tv's and a sofa. Additional positive features: we could open the window for fresh NM air and the in-room coffee was actually good.

This was the first night of ou vacation to Silverton Colorado. Very clean and friendly place to stay. Our granddaughter loved the pool. There was plenty of parking for trailer. We walked next door to the restraunt to eat dinner.

A wonderful, quiet, peaceful hotel. Nice clean pool, and wonderful selection at breakfast. The employees were very professional and helpful. A great location to stay at to visit the many national historical parts in the area.

For Best Western to call the facility a "Resort" is highly overrated and way OVERPRICED!!! The check in procedure was poor at best....the front desk employees need to have a " process improvement" lesson, on professional customer service. Rude, unprofessional and they didn't want to answer questions. No, there was no one else in line....we were the only ones checking in. We were in the 3000 building. For appearance sake the room was fairly clean, BUT, the smell of the mold/mildew was to much for our family. We all woke up with sick headaches and checked out early. Air conditioner said 65.....It was more like 78. Room was very dated, old wore out mattresses, old bedding and towels and the walls are very thin and the neighbor's were "LOUD". Many of the guests were smoking out in front of the 3000 building and the smoke seeped through our windows. Main building appeared to be in great shape. Lots to do for a family with kiddos. Food was mediocre with very limited choices. Highlight of the evening was Richard, who provided information on the Grand Canyon tours. Bright, professional, knowledgable, honest and obviously truly loved his job and his customers. Best Western is in the middle of a addition. Hopefully they will go back and update the old rooms. No, we won't be back. Wondering....first time booking through Priceline... Is this the rule...providing sub-standard economy rooms?

Very friendly and polite staff. We got to the hotel very late at night driving by after long day at national park and had no reservation, they gave us a great room at the responsible price. We felt very welcomed. Hotel lobby is very clean and cozy. Our room was very nice and clean, beds had Comfortable mattress. As a family we loved pool and Jacuzzi they had (open late). Morning breakfast was hot and fresh. We got to the breakfast very late and they still had plenty of food for my family. and nobody rushed us to finish. Highly recommended. We were very pleased with everything. If we in the area again will come back again for sure.

On the way between national parks and tourism in New Mexico, we found this hotel. Delightful staff, met all our expectations of Best Western quality. And without the hubbub of a larger city. A definite respite in a long cross-country trip.

We were passing through from Grand Junction to Ruidoso and stayed here. It was clean, updated, easy to find, check-in was seamless. The only complaint I have is the elevator is very creaky, shaky and noisy. It does not inspire a lot of confidence however we didn't have an issue with it. It just sounds scary.

I was pleased with all aspects of the service. The air condition worked great, and the spa was nice, and so was the swimming pool. Had a great breakfast, the next day. Also had complimentry news paper.

Best Western Bloomfield, New Mexico is a real sleeper when it comes to a 1st class hotel. You would not expect to find this jewel in the little town of Bloomfield. However, we have been going to Bloomfield every year for the last 8 years, to fish the San Juan River. We can find accommodations closer to the river but the drive is well worth the quality and value you receive from this hotel and its Staff. This is a must stay if you are in the area.

The facilities are wonderful. We were on our way to Aztec Nat'l. Monument from Texas and stayed here overnight and it was certainly a treat. The pool and jacuzzi were clean. Breakfast was superb. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and well set up. Wifi worked like a champ. The price was amazing on top of all that! One issue I had was being woken by the many doors slamming in the morning. I'm not sure if it was one neighbor but even the Van Horn hotel didn't have this issue. Otherwise I would give this a 5 star rating. Staff blew it off like it was nothing instead of validating my concern when I mentioned it in the morning. So I guess, no property is perfect. But this one is pretty close.

Great hotel inna a really out of the way place----Exploring Chaco Canyon for a few days and needed a respite in the evenings and this was it. Everything about it was excellent, from the front desk staff, to the cleanliness of the room. Breakfast was great and well presented.

We felt so comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was possibly one of the best I have ever had at a hotel. I go back to this small New Mexico town just to stay at this hotel!

We make a point of stopping at Best Western, Bloomfield, when we drive north from Santa Fe, even when we depart town late and arrive after 9PM, as was the case on our July 1, 2016 stay. The reason, it is a well-run, clean, convenient property, which only failed us when the TV speakers went south. The jaccuzi is great and the breakfast above average, and, they do not show FOX news in the public areas! There is a lot more truth in the Weather Channel!1

Staff is always friendly and pleasant and responsive to my needs. The office printer and computer worked great and the breakfast excellent as is the service. The kitchen help is always making me laugh and does a great job.

This hotel was very nice and clean. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were well maintained. Would definitely stay again when we are back in the area.

Bloomfield New Mexico is a small town with very friendly people. During my two night stay at the Best Western Territorial Inn and Suites, I had a very comfortable room and excellent service. The room was clean, has a fairly large television and even had a bathtub! The breakfast that was included was fabulous... Real scrambled eggs (not powdered), delicious biscuits and gravy, the sausage was great; fresh fruit, pastries, fresh waffles....it was great! One other thing, it is within walking distance of many good restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Highly recommend.... Lovely decor, friendly service, comfortable rooms, great pool and hot tub.....and an incredible breakfast..... Very reasonable.... Wish all Best Westerns were this nice! The scenery outside was incredible.

Our second stay here in as many trips. Very nice place, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Close to many of the local attractions and about 1 hour from Chaco Canyon. They put the emphasis on service here.

Everything went right on this stay. We arrived at the hotel for a fast check-in and they upgraded our room first thing to a suite! Sweet! The room and the bed were comfortable, the breakfast buffet was just right with both proteins (scrambled eggs and sausage, and hard boiled eggs!) and starches (waffles that THEY prepared for you and brought to your table). The had oatmeal too. The bathroom was just fine. The towels were nice and fluffy. The Internet WORKED! Nice location. Staff was friendly. We would stay here again.

Excellent hotel. New, clean, pleasant and efficient staff, good breakfast, and fitness center. Bed was very comfortable. Previous night was in another BW in Page, AZ, and it was a total disappointment, but this was superb!

If you ever have an occasion to be in this area of New Mexico you will not find a better place to stay for any amount of money. The service is top notch. The accommodations were the best that I have ever experienced and I have traveled for business for the past forty plus years.

This place does it right on the details that can be so frustrating for travelers. It's clean, well-cared-for, has good wifi and plenty of outlets for battery chargers, laptops and phones. The staff is helpful and friendly, too. It's also one of the few places a stayed at during a seven-week tour of the Southwest where the towels weren't paper thin. And it's in a good location for accessing Chaco Culture National Historical Park and the Bisti Badlands.

Stayed here for two nights on a family trip. We enjoyed the room and the breakfast. Even though it is situated along the main road, the room we had to the back side of the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. We always encountered helpful and pleasant staff! Would definitely stay again next time!

We happened on this hotel, because it was Sunday and it was time to stop. It was not busy, so when we inquired about the price, it seemed high to us as we are Canadian and our money doesn't go far. $100 becomes $130 U.S. The desk clerk reduced the price and we stayed. I was having trouble with my computer, and she was very helpful, then I NEEDED to receive and send a fax, and again , no problem. The room was fine, the breakfast was nicer than normal, with sausages, eggs, and fruit. Kriss was the person we dealt with in the evening, and Cody in the morning. .I'm glad we stayed here. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast above average, and the pool spa was nice, but the bed was not very comfortable. Would have given a top rating,but the bed. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and the breakfast was the best one of all the BW that we stayed at.

We loved the stay, all the staff were encountered were so nice and took the time to acknowledge us they said hello & wished us a great day. We also enjoyed the breakfast, it was the best breakfast that we've ever had at a BW., there was a big selection and everything was fresh and so appealing.

As my wife and I usually average 60-80 hotels a year, we have encountered the good, the bad and the ugly. There have only been a few that have stood out above the rest. All have been the high class hotels with the exception of one. The Best Western Territorial Inn & Suites of Bloomfield NM. I will quickly rate this hotel. 5 being excellent. Turned up on spec at this hotel on my way to Alburqurque from the Grand Canyon. The receptionist (Kelley) was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The public areas of the hotel are well appointed and the proprietors clearly take pride in making the place look nice - unlike many other best western places I have stayed. The room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. The only slight downside was that it faced the main road but I didn't have any traffic noise problems. Breakfast was fine as well. In one sense its a shame this hotel is off the tourist trail (certainly for us Brits anyway)!

Hotels in Bloomfield are very limited, but this Best Western was a pleasant surprise. It's clean, modern & the room was nicely appointed. The only drawback to the room was the firmness of the bed, but I wouldn't let that deter me from staying there in the future, should the need arise. This hotel is located directly on one of the main thoroughfares in Bloomfield & is frequented with large trucks, traffic noise can be a problem if you're a light sleeper, but the hotel itself was quiet and pleasant.

Best in room lighting of any other motel in the US where I have stayed. Super service and freshest breakfast. Perfect location for exploring Chaco Canyon ruins and the Bisti Badlands. Approximately 9 miles to good chain restaurants in Farmington, NM.

Wonderful staff and a great place to stay. The staff was so polite and helpful, I would stay at this location anytime. Location was great and near food, gas and safe .All around great, management should be very proud of their staff and hotel.

Looks like a plain Jane old hotel from outside but inside is a different story. Very clean and comfortable rooms. All the amenities a business traveler could want. Free hot breakfast. Good overall value.

Good rates, great breakfast, great staff, great rooms, overall very nice stay. We had a ground floor room that did not face the street and was very quite. Very comfortable stay. Very clean. One of the better breakfasts. Across the street is Blake's Lotaburger, a New Mexico local chain. Get a LotaBurger with Green Chile!

We took a road trip from October 26 thru November 6, 2015. We stay here during our visit to Chaco Canyon. We were only planning on staying one night; however, we decided to stay an extra night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was exceptional. The young lady that checked us in gave us a map to Chaco Canyon and recommended a couple places to eat. The service at breakfast was outstanding. The lady fixed fresh waffles and eggs for us. The fresh fruit and berries were wonderful. Overall this was the best place we stayed on our trip. Kept up the good work. Kept serving quality breakfast.

We wanted to get as close as possible to Chaco Canyon National Park, and Bloomfield is it. This hotel is pretty nice, fairly new, and reminded me of a Hampton Inn. Quiet, comfortable, good breakfast, it did the job. Not much to do in Bloomfield, so as an overnight stop it is OK. We ate at the restaurant right next door, a simple, local place with decent food but nothing special. It did the job.

you must meet the nice ladies here, you will be pleasantly surprised at how well these young ladies do there jobs. Breakfast is such a deal and spotless clean. the best deal I have had in a long time. rooms are above average and price is below.. a bargin in my view. Please be nice to the staff, they deserve a big pat on the back.

This Best Western motel served the best breakfast I've ever had in a motel. They are centrally located in town and is close to adjoining restaurants. The staff was knowledgeable and anxious to please.

My wife and I recently stayed here for the second time in the last 3 years. This is one of the finest hotels in this price range we have ever visited. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and well kept, and the breakfast offering is one of the best we have ever enjoyed. Fresh fruit every morning, not some syrupy, sugary stuff out of a can. I'm talking fresh strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, melons, grapes, and cantaloupes! They even make fresh Belgian Waffles for you - no do it yourself ones! The week-end girl, Lynn was amazing. Super courteous, friendly and helpful. She as well as the other breakfast attendants kept the area clean and well stocked at all times. Our room was expertly cleaned, bed linens neatly folded, supplies restocked and a pleasant scent always greeted us when we came back to the room. A great value, and a wonderful place to stay in the Four Corners area!

Would stay there again; staff was very helpful and went out of their way to accommadate us. My husband was leaving before breakfast was to be served and the young lady provided him with not only the food, but also baggies in which to carry his fruit and sausage sandwiches.

This is one of the very finest Best Western hotels in which we have ever stayed. The quality of service and product was outstanding. We loved the quality of the expanded Direct TV package with many HD channels. The breakfast was great with quality choices of fresh fruit.

Outstanding hotel - and example of the Best Western brand. Friendly courteous staff - with a sense of humor. Exceedingly clean and top notch accommodations and amenities. Large good breakfast choices including fresh berries and fruit...and fresh warm cookies at check-in! We will return to this hotel again.

Stayed here for three nights and found the hotel very clean, staff friendly and a very good breakfast. We had put in a request for an upstairs king size bed on the back sidenof the hotel. Unfortunately they put us in a front room. This room was on the side of the highway which was very noisy even at night. We requested a change of room and was put on second floor with double queen size beds but out the back. This room was so much better for a good night sleep. Unfortunately we had a very heavy footed person in the room above us. When we made our reservation over five months ago, to stay for three nights, we requested a top floor room on the side away from the highway. We did this based on other trip advisor advise. It seems poor service that quests who are staying for three nights do not receive priority with room allocation. Having to change rooms ate into our second day. If they can't give you a room on the side away from the highway my advise is to think again about staying there. Apart from the noise factor, the staff were friendly, rooms spotless and breakfast very good. Plenty of food choice and plenty of fresh fruit.

We stayed here for just one quick night and thought it was great! The breakfast buffet was clean, lots of choices and the staff was very accommodating. The room had a small fridge, micro and coffee pot. We would definitely stay here again when travelling through Broomfield.

Very nice facility. Very good breakfast. Room comfortable. Several non-smoking rooms had stale tobacco smell. The location was a bit distance from Farmington and facilities such as the Pinon Hills Golf course.

The Staff goes out of their way to make this a great place to stay, very good HOT breakfast, clean rooms, good pool, good value and convenient to places like Four Corners, Aztec Ruins, Salmon Ruins, and Chaco Canyon

Second time in a few years at this hotel, for stop along the way to Native American and other cultural ruins in the area. Staff is excellent, cheerful, and most helpful. Rooms comfortable and breakfast very good.
