"Old bathroom, ok bed and breakfast"
Very friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom of our junior suite was old and worn and had that dirty feeling (despite being clean). The flimsy shower head was of the first generation energy conserving ones from the early 80-ies. Fast and mostly reliable (but unsecure) WiFi. The suite was spatious with a separate bedroom, Nespresso machine and empty mini bar. Quite nice view of Ulriken and Bryggen in two narrow strips in between large buildings. The street is rather noisy in the evening and during the night. The breakfast was quite nice with a reasonable selection. It was served in a room far to small in these corona times, it was very hard to keep proper distance. The best thing about the hotel was the location: right in the city centre and sitting on top of the lovely Altona wine cellar,

"Mediocre and noisy"
Our room was a bit cramped, but we got a good price so perhaps OK. The bathroom was smelly, suggesting some old leak or some other fault. The shower was also very cramped and water splashed into the room itself (onto the wooden floor). There was lots of noise from the street into the room and some noise from corridor. The breakfast buffet was quite good international style buffet. Friendly service. Tourist hotel more than business hotel.

"Clean"
The location was really great, very close to the city centre. Everything is a short walk away. The single rooms are a little small but not too bad. The shower is not placed well, more like an after thought, there isn't enough room and it is easy to flood the whole bathroom.

"short term stay"
Very interesting motel and i would recommend this to a traveling tourist if in Bergen The restaurant is part of the original building and approx 200 odd years old and down in the cellar. Very good food is served there also. Very clean rooms and the hotel has a baggage storage area for use if your trip is after checkout time.

"Very good, well located hotel"
I recently stayed one night at the Augustin Hotel in Bergen just prior to doing a Hurtigruten cruise. The Hotel is very comfortable and quite reasonably priced. it is pretty well located and a short walk to the Fish market and Bryggen tourist area. it is also not too far to walk from the Hotel to the Hurtigruten terminal. Staff were every helpful. Cofee is available all day and they do waffles in the afternoon. Breakfast is excellent.

"Great hotel in the centre of Bergen"
Great hotel in the centre of Bergen, I spent 6 nights here. It's close to most important atractions (Brygenn, Aquarium, mount Floyen, harbour) and to the shopping streets. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. I also enjoyed the restaurant downstairs, great food, good vine, nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.
