« Great Motel to stay »

This Motel is in a great position, with excellent and friendly. The Motel is like brand new and is set out superbly to cater for the guests. There is a large grassed area which gives the motel the feeling of peace and quiet. The pool area is nice and very private.

    « Professional 5star service in a Motel »

The hotel was spotless, professional service, room very clean, great surrounds and garden, but a little far to walk to town 1.5kms. on the pricey side for a motel, but understanding it was a holiday weekend. had to stay here due to other hotel cancel, but glad I did.

    « Luxury stay »

The Beechworth Motor Innofers an extremely comfortable stay with a welcoming tea tray for your hot drink after your travel. Come here to be comfortable at all times with clean inviting outside pool seating and bbq.

    « Brilliant Accommodation »

Stayed earlier this week and just for one night. An older style motel with all furnishings etc up to date and modern. The best thing about this place is everything works! You know how most motel rooms have one or two things 'not quite right' ..... not here. TV remote works without having to swap the batteries because they are never changed, aircon / heater works and it isn't too noisy, room spotlessly clean, bed comfortable and pillows that don't compress to 10mm once you lie on them, bathroom dispensers all filled and working. Very quiet for sleeping also. Pool and BBQ area looked great and the car parking is roomy. Highly recommended.

« Great BBQ, garden and pool area »

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights on a recent road trip. Room is large, clean and well appointed but the highlight of the stay is the BBQ area which was very pleasant to sit in and enjoy a quiet drink at the end of the day touring. Rob and his wife are very welcoming and attentive to requests. The location is a bit further out then we thought but it was an easy 15 minute walk into town and very quiet.

    « Excellent »

I can't praise this motel enough. From the moment you walk into the room you feel comfortable. The rooms were extremely clean and so well presented. Beautifully laid out coffee/tea provisions, all amenities in the bathroom, free wifi ( with easy connection and no time limit ) and the most comfiest bed with heaps of pillows. The grounds of this motel are immaculate and there is a swimming pool , also clean. The staff are friendly and willing to help with any tourism queries you might have or suggestions. I wish I could take this motel to all my destinations .

« On the way home for the Victorian High Country »

Lovely modernised motel with a enormous and well kept garden area, top BBQ and outdoors dinning, lounge area. Very friendly and helpful owner operators. Loved our stay and will be back for a longer one. It is very rare to find such a well kept out of the way motel which can be used as a base to explore over an extended stay. This is certainly one. The Beechworth area has so much to offer the tourist.

    « Little oasis. »

We stayed here on our way from Canberra to Melbourne. Initially it seems that you are going out of your way from the main highway but it rejoins further along without having to backtrack. There are about 10 rooms with parking directly outside your room. Reception is open from 7.30 am to 9.30 pm. There isn't a restaurant or bar on site but you can order breakfast to be delivered to your room. There are eating places in the town which is very colonial and most don't open until 6 pm with shops etc shutting 4 or 5 pm. The rooms are spacious and modern with mini bars and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a pool and garden area. Beechworth is famous for its association with Ned Kelly the outlaw.

« Lovely, clean motel with fabulous staff. »

I recently spent a weekend here with my two teenage children. Staff were delightfully friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful grounds with a relaxing pool. This motel is the cleanest I have stayed in for a long time. A lovely, relaxing home away from home. Thanks for having us!!

« Our yearly bike ride »

We have been past/through Beachworth many times on our annual ride, this time we decided to stop and stay. After 3 days on the road, it was a welcome sight, beautiful and friendly. The pool was sparkling clean and rooms and beds fantastically comfortable. BBQ area was outstanding. Service was superb. Can't understand how this motor inn doesn't have a 5 star rating. We highly recommend staying here and friendly chat and local advise from management and staff ???? Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

« Great motel and town »

We stayed here last year and were most impressed so decided again to stop on our way to Port Arlington from Sydney. Very clean and wonderful outside surrounds. Easy pleasant walk to town for a well recommended restaurant.

« Outstanding friendly service and comfy rooms. »

The one thing that stands out about this motel the most is the wonderful service. We had the most generous, personal and helpful service ever when we stayed here. The room was very clean and comfortable and the surroundings are perfect for relaxing after a day of riding or just shopping in town. This is also a cyclist friendly motel, we had no trouble storing our bikes in a secure store room for the night. We will definitely be back again soon.

« Friendly place in lovely town »

Smaller motel, easy to find after a long drive and quickly settled into my room. The rooms are spacious and clean, all that you require for one night stop over. The motel is close to the town and very convenient for exploring the Beechworth area. I'd recommend a visit to the deserted asylum especially at dusk, very spooky! The swimming pool was, sadly, too cold to swim in even though it was summer. I do enjoy a swim after a long drive but all things considered a very pleasant stay.

    « Terrific place »

We spent a night here whilst exploring the region and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! It is about a km from the main township on a quiet street. Everything was spotless, including the room, bathroom and surrounds. The bed was very comfortable and had lovely quality linen and towels. Robert was delightful when booking and arriving. It is a perfect place to stay if you are riding the rail trail, on your way to the snow or exploring the area.

« Lovely place to stay »

We have stayed at this motel a couple of times now and find it is well presented, very clean and a short drive to the main shopping area. Our only issue was the overly frugal choice of toilet tissue. If it had been of better quality I would rate this a five star motel.

« Small motor inn amongst mountain trees »

Rob, the owner greeted us on arrival. The welcome was warm and pleasant with all the usual explanations, but the room was absolutely way above our expectations- beautifully laid out and ecptionally clean. The outside grounds have everything - 2 BBQ areas with tables and chairs for all. A fully enclosed swimming pool and plenty of lawn area for children to romp around in and beautiful trees everywhere. Considering there are only 10 units these amenities are way above the normal. Couldn't go past here.

    « Roadtrip, Visiting friends. »

A perfect, beautyfull motel. we stayed here for 2 nights and if we didn't have to finish a roadtrip, we could stay here longer. the owner is very helpfull in telling us about the history of the town and the highlights that are can be seen.

    « Wonderful Hosts »

From the road one may question one's choice, however venturing down the driveway reveals a very large park-like garden with a BBQ area, seats and tables at which, we concede we enjoyed the last of the sun over a glass or two. The rooms were immaculately clean and prepared with the 'little things' that make a stay easier. The host, Robert was amazingly helpful regarding the area, things to see, where to dine, and what not to waste time doing. After traveling for a week we used the washing machine to get up to date. We went out touring, came back looking to put the washing the dryer only to be told the clothes had been dried, and they would bring them to our room. We were a little disappointed to learn they had not been folded in tissue and placed into our cases. A great experience, beautiful town we would recommend staying a couple of nights, and particularly sincerely thank our hosts Robert and Jenelle. Russell & Lee

« Great motel, lovely garden »

This is a terrific little motel with a really pleasant garden setting. They seem to own the big grassy area on one side, and we sat out in the spring sunshine reading and relaxing for a good hour or more. The room was quiet and spacious, and it had a nicely renovated bathroom. Only tiny negative was the smell of fly spray but this was a very minor issue. The pool looks very clean and is nicely enclosed for privacy.

    « Very comfortable »

Motel recently renovated and quite fresh with a contemporary feel, unlike so many country motels still in the 80s. The owner Rob was very friendly and even upgraded us to a King room. Would definitely stay here again.

    « Fussy traveller »

Quiet, clean, easy parking, friendly staff, fantastic shower, comfy beds- cannot fault it. The price was reasonable and the breakfast was lovely. Will go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

    « Tait »

Arrived to a wonderful welcoming unit. Just delightful to step into. Electric blankets and presentation. Service top notch. Will certainly recommend and use again. Very very happy. The town is delightful. A short drive to things to see and do.

    « Worth a Stay »

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and everything was clean, neat and tidy. Staff well informed and happy to share local knowledge. Would return for a longer stay next time, no issues recommending to anyone.

    « very nice »

very nice place to stay first day was wet so was stuck in room most of day maybe a extra blanket on the bed during winter , was one in cupboard but was very nice bed and bit strange no door on tolliet

    « Overnight stay »

Our room was spacious and super clean, it had a lovely fresh smell when we entered. The toiletries were all mounted in containers on the wall in the bathroom and shower.Rob is a lovely friendly host. Highly recommend a stay here

    « Best Western Beechworth »

Best western Beechworth, comfortable and restful stay. Staff very helpful and courteous for the time there. Beds comfortable (June 2017) and very warm hospitality. Pleasant and clean in all aspects of the stay

    « top notch »

Late checkin for the last room available -- which was perfect for us. reception staff (Ron) was cheerful and helpful. Room was spacious clean with great hot water. Nicely appointed with teas and coffees and Refrigerator was stocked, but we had our own. Great place to overnight. had pool, but it was too cold to enjoy

    « Clean and cosy »

Great location, friendly staff (Rob) and a clean, cosy and comfortable room. Very well appointed with plenty f hot water and heating for what turned out to be a very cold night. Well recommended when staying in Beechworth.

« Perfect girls night away »

My girlfriend and I stayed here recently for a night away from our husbands ;) We arrived in the dark and could only assume what the grounds looked like in the light. The room was spacious and very clean. The manager on both arrival and departure was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We the sun rose the next morning the grounds were more beautiful than any of the pictures. Well kept slight frost and a few autumn leaves. This motel was exactly what we needed and we will be back again.

    « Very good »

One of the best motels we have stayed at. Room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. Bathroom for this type of establishment was rather large. A decent walk from the center of town but very doable. Highly recommended.

    « Very Comfortable »

Great size room. Well equipped and comfortable. Good staff and location. Second stay here. The town has some nice places for coffee and food. Great location as its close to snow fields. This is quite a picturesque part of Victoria

    « comfortable quiet stay »

My husband and I stayed here recently. The motel is set in very pretty grounds with off street parking. The staff were very warm and friendly and check in and out very fast. the room was very comfortable large and modern. the room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. It was very quiet at the motel even though it was fully booked. Very close to town. would highly recommend.

    « Comfortable stay »

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The surroundings are nice and the motel has a nice outdoor area to relax and have a drink. We did not use the pool but it looked OK. The only complaint we have is that it is too far to walk to the city centre. Beechworth has a lot to offer in terms of old buildings, museums, shops and other attractions.

« Hope to Get Back One Day »

Spent one night in this motel on trip to Canberra. Wonderful to see an old style motel, renovated and revived. Friendly greeting upon our arrival - spotlessly clean and spacious room with comfortable bed. Great location - not far from town centre but far enough. Central to all town activities and eating places.

    « Nice Stay »

Spent one night in this motel. Great clean swimming pool, that was fantastic considering how hot it was. Room clean with a comfortable bed. Good location not far from many activities and restaurants. Quiet location as well.

« nice and friendly place »

we stayed one night on trip from Canberra to Melbourne; nice quaint little town, you have to do the 5km drive around the gorge; nice pool, easy location; very friendly and helpful hotel owner. from here we drove to the king valley wine region, very close. super restaurants.

    « Awesome »

This motel was the best i have stayed in over the last year, its comfortable beds gave me a great night sleep. The bathroom is spotless as is the whole room. Service was excellent and the owners made u feel like family. I had no trouble with booking and arrival. Pool was beautiful and gardens made for a lovely relaxation. Thank you i realy enjoyed our stay.

    « A standout motel »

Our brief stay in Beechworth was a highly pleasant experience, topped off by the atmosphere and facilities of the Best Western motel. On arrival it was immediately obvious that the owner's take pride in their presentation of the motel, both inside and out. Our room was of good size, clean and well fitted out. The extensive lawns are very well maintained, as are the pool and the BBQ facilities. We enjoyed our light breakfast at one of the outdoor tables on the lawn-what better way to start a warm Spring day in the country? There was plenty of helpful information on hand about local things to see and do, augmented by friendly tips from Rob at reception. If you're looking for good quality motel accommodation in Beechworth you won't be disappointed.

« Best stay in Beechworth »

Rob & Jenelle are such friendly & helpful hosts. We moved from another motel in the area at 8pm because the room had an old smoke smell that was affecting my asthma. Rob & Jenelle were immediately accommodating & provided a very clean & modern room. We had a pleasant stay & I would highly recommend this place.

« Good Choice! And not that far from town! »

Stayed here for three nights and it was great. It was just a two minute car drive to the centre of town and maybe a 15 minute walk. (TripAdvisor has it as 3.1k - I clocked it as 1.5k) We would walk the back streets through the town and it was great to see the houses and parts of Beechworth you may not notice in a car. We did not use them - but the pool and BBQ area was large and clean and well maintained. Bed and room was comfy and clean - would highly recommend!

    « Country Holiday »

Beechworth was a stunning and very interesting town. The locals all went to out of their way to provide a premium service to all tourists and local food was excellent. We stayed at the Best Western Beechworth Motor Inn at the edge of town. The rooms were quiet and clean and the presentation excellent. We spent our days exploring the old historic buildings and having guided tours that filled in the history of the goldfields and bushrangers of the region. On our way home we passed through the King Valley nearby because the food and wine was outstanding. Great trip.

    « Excellent night sleep »

My grandma and I were travelling from Canberra to Melbourne and needed an urgent night accommodation late on Saturday night. After ringing ahead the staff member who welcomed us had turned the heater on to warm the room for us. The room was neat and very clean. I had the best night sleep as the room was dark, quiet and King Koil mattress made all the different. My only suggestion to Best Western is an upgrade to thick fluffy towels. I recommend anyone travelling through to stay here.

    « Comfy! »

Cute little motel located close to the health service, perfect for short stays in Beechworth. Comfortable rooms, well appointed in a traditional motel layout (car space directly outside rooms). There is an unground pool but due to the weather we didn't use it. A little bit out of town, but a lovely 10 min walk to the lake.

« An excellent place to stay in Beechworth »

This is an excellent country motel. From the friendly and efficient booking and check in experience to the comfortable, well appointed room, I enjoyed my stay here. The room looked to be qute recently tastefully refurbished. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Beechworth has lots of attractions, and the Beechworth Motor Inn is a great base from which to explore the region.

    « 100% recommended »

We only stayed at this motel for one night and were very impressed with the service provided and the motel room. The room was large, clean and offers everything you need including a comfy bed, hot shower with good pressure and internet access. The motel is only a short drive from town and many tourist attractions. All of this came at a very reasonable price, and if we are ever looking for a motel in Beechworth again, I will be going straight to the Beechworth Motor Inn. Congratulations to the staff on providing wonderful service and a great motel.

« Quiet, comfortable and friendly »

Only a few minutes by car from the town centre, this motel was comfortable and quiet at night ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful with directions and the free wifi worked well. Breakfast was typical motel style and delivered to your room through a hatch. Would stay there again next time I go back to Beechworth.

    « "Top Drawer !" »

We had booked to stay one night, but extended it to a second night because the rooms were so spotless and relaxing, and the beds were wonderful. This is a single-storey motel, which adds to the tranquillity. The owner/manager was very helpful in assisting us with local tourist information, especially re places to dine. It was a top quality experience, added to by the courtesy and friendliness of the owner/manager. Will certainly stay there in future.

    « "Excellent, excellent!" »

We reiterate all the previous positive comments. We had a great three day stay. Large, comfortable, spotless accommodation with all amenities. Great surrounds, all beautifully maintained. Friendly owners. We could not ask for better.

« Excellent Location Everything just right! »

Quiet location Friendly owners an excellent outdoor area with BBQ for warmer nights Clean large rooms Austar movies and local channels . I could go on but if your happy with the room rate stay here for as long as you need to explore the area

« Great place to stay »

We stayed for a long weekend and the accommodation was large, clean and central. Rob, the owner/manager was outstanding in his recommendations for things to see and do and places to eat - very warm and accommodating. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Beechworth!!

    « A GEM »

clean, friendly, quiet, warm, modern, and a great price. central to beechworth by car. nice little touches like a toaster - which is great for kids. tip - go to the hybernian for dinner not the nicholas! environmentally friendly joint without heaps of plastic which is great. highly recommend.

    « 'An oldie but a goodie' »

This is a traditional older motel that has refurbished rooms and is beautiful maintained. Clean rooms, fresh white linen and a revamped, spotless bathrooms. Robyn's manager is a very friendly, professional guy who is only too happy to have a chat and recommend all manner of local sights and restaurants and generally be helpful in any manner. I arranged to have some flowers sent to my mother's room on arrival and Rob was very helpful in making a Smooth delivery. The property itself is exceptionally well maintained with a great gazebo and outdoor seating and cooking area, would be a great place in Summer. Mattresses and pillows were more comfortable than many more expensive hotels we've stayed in.

« Nice option in a pretty town »

A little out of town this relatively modern hotel is a good accommodation option worthy of consideration. I liked the undercover car parking in front of the room. I also liked the owner turning on the heater before my arrival and the tray of tea and coffee accoutrements on the bed. The bed was comfortable and the room warm and quiet. The bathroom was functional but cold. The water temperature in the shower was very fickle fluctuating between uber hot to frigid with only a slight touch of the tap. The grounds of the hotel were nice and had a pool and gazebo for guest use. Service was fine. Room service breakfast was available with reasonable prices. I would stay there again.

    « Booking »

We arrived in Beechworth this afternoon and looked on wotif for accommodation( as we normally do) and booked a room. Arrived at Best Western Beechworth about 15 mins later. Explained to the man( I would normally say gentleman) but he's far from it!!!! that we had just booked online and his response was 'why on earth would you do that'. Why didn't you just walk in and 'what about using a phone'. He told me it would take at least another half an hour for the booking to come through. Nothing about this greeting was nice!!! I told him to forget it, not interested now in staying at this motel and left. He said 'well you won't get yr money back so it's your choice!!! I have never met anyone so rude. So I contacted 'wotif', they said sorry your booking was not refundable. I explained I'd rather lose my money than give it to that jerk. 'Wotif' rang the motel and also received rude conduct. I'm ecstatic so say that they refunded my money from their end. They were brilliant. I hope this encourages tourists to drive right past their door and stay elsewhere

    « Clean room & pleasant staff »

WE were only staying one night & had stayed before some years ago. The exterior and interior have been upgraded. The staff are still really friendly, the location is quiet, the room was really clean and the bed was very comfortable. Just what we wanted.

    « A comfortable stay »

Very good motel, well maintained. 15 minute walk to town centre Comfortable bed and pillows. Owner very welcoming and helpful with suggesting places of interest in the area. We would stay at this motel again when next in the area.

« A good motel to stay for a few days »

Although a little out of town it was a very pleasant experiece. Robert the owner, was full of interesting information about the town, history, restaurants and places elsewhere to visit. The bed and pillows were so extremely comfortable, Outdoor BBQ and seating were good. We met up with friends and had coffee around individual table and seating areas across from our rooms.

    « Clean & Quiet »

We had a king room. It was very comfortable, clean and quiet, even though the motel was full. The gardens are nice and the whole complex is very well kept. The owners were super friendly and very accommodating when we had to change the date of our booking. Free wi-fi was a bonus.

    « Pleasant nights stay »

Check-in was friendly and efficient, happy to answer questions about local places of interest and recommendations for eating/ meals whilst staying in Beechworth. Beechworth itself is a lovely town, with old world character and lovely autumn trees! We stayed in a family room, with 4 of us (2 kids included). The room was clean and well-presented, typical motel style (beds and bathroom, with mini bar, kettle and toaster). Plenty of room, bathroom was large with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, etc. supplied in dispensers within the shower recess. Sleep quality was great, beds warm and comfortable (electric blankets on all beds though we didn't need to use), and quiet (no noise). As an added touch, a nice shortbread biscuit was provided for all guests to enjoy. There is a bbq area, pool and nice places to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The owners have taken a real effort to provide a nice, welcoming place for their guests to stay.

    « Comfortable and efficient »

Whilst it's 1.5 km from the centre of town, it's still an attractive motel. Our room was spacious with enough room to move - even with our two bikes neatly resting in the corner. Beds were good and pillows supplied in two thicknesses. Great bathroom. Outside BBQ and table available. We "self catered" for breakfast so can't comment on what is supplied (at cost). Wifi was fast and stable. Note that the town's IGA supermarket is being rebuilt so the temporary store has a more limited range of groceries than expected (advised this will continue for about a year).

    « Comfortable, peaceful & clean »

We spent the weekend in Beechworth & the surrounding areas. Luckily we booked this hotel well in advance as we chose a very busy weekend. Having been to Beechworth before, we were aware that this hotel is on the outskirts of the town. This was a good choice as although they were fully booked on both nights, it was quiet & peaceful, so we all got great nights sleep. The room was a family room with a queen & 2 x single beds. Very comfortable, very clean. Only down side was the shower, which was prone to turning freezing cold mid shower - bit of a shock & quite unpleasant, but totally survivable! A lovely pool area, a few areas requiring maintenance, but as Autumn unlikely to be an issue. Very nice barbecue & entertaining area. Seats and tables set out around nicely lawned area to enable guests to relax outside. Worth a return visit.

« Excellent motel in interesting town »

We really enjoyed our stay at the BW Beechworth. This was the best BW we have stayed in on an extended trip through Australia. The room was large, nicely furnished, very clean and had a very nice bathroom with a full-sized sink. Robert, the manager gave us lots of great suggestions for things to see and do on the rest of our trip. The motel grounds are very peaceful with a large BBQ area. Beechworth is a neat town and deserves at least a full day to see all of the sites.

    « Clean and Comfortable. »

The guy at reception (Sorry didn't get his name.) was welcoming, friendly and a good source of information. He also gave me vouchers for a free coffee at Beechworth Bakery as our room was still being cleaned. The room was comfortable and clean and parking was right outside the door. We would be happy to return or recommend.

    « Good Night's Sleep »

If you are in Beechworth this the place to stay. Our Hosts were friendly without being overbearing, quite refreshing. We both had a excellent relaxing sleep like we would had at our home.We fully recommend if you want a relaxing peaceful night and not to far from the centre of the town.

« Great place for hot weather »

We made use of the pool each of the four days we stayed. The aircon was quiet and kept the room at a pleasant temperature. Although the address is Sydney Rd, it's not a main highway and we weren't conscious of traffic noise at all. In milder weather it would be near enough to town to walk, but in any case it just takes a few minutes to drive. Recommended.

    « Luck there was a room »

We were let down by a local B&B, had to find somewhere to sleep. Traveled from Lake Entrances . Well were lucky and far better off. Much cleaner even were able to do our washing. The manager went out of his way to see us right. A super breakfast next morning. Fee WiFi . Plenty of local knowledge. Well worth a stay over here.

« Out stay at Best Western Beechworth »

We last visited Beechworth about 10-12 years ago and I remember that we stayed at Best Western then and had a very good experience, so this time we decided to do the same. It just seemed like re-experiencing an old friend. The hotel was quite inviting as were the staff. Breakfast in the morning came with a smile and a welcome and we felt more than happy and content with out stay. Next time we return to Beechworth again we will use the same Hotel. Good on you Best Western Beechworth. Thank you.

    « A perfekt stay »

One of the best motels we have stayed at. Nice, clean, quiet and good service. Furthermore a wonderful pool and beautiful grounds with outdoor furniture groups and BBQ facilities. Walking distance to town center of Beechworth.

« Well run country motel with clean comfortable rooms and excellent value »

I made a very last minute booking here on an overnight trip to Melbourne. This is a classic country motel but is surrounded by lovely park like gardens and a gazebo and a pool. If you were well organised you could enjoy a barbecue under the trees after a swim in the pool as there are BBQ facilities. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the use of Eco toiletries in a dispenser. The lighting was adequate and there was a lounge and TV. The owner/manager was very helpful with driving tips.

« Clean, Quiet, modern fresh rooms »

Motel is clean , quiet and comfortable. right near the town high street(s). There is under cover parking for your car, a pool, and the grounds are very neat. Friendly helpful service. Great place to stay and visit Beechworth.

    « Great overnight stay »

Large, clean and comfortable rooms, lots of thoughtful extras, beautiful grounds with tables and chairs set out under the trees, a pool and BBQ facilities - all within walking distance of the town centre and other attractions such as the gaol and honey discovery centre. We had a really pleasant stay and will definitely be back.

« Peaceful and comfortable place to stay »

Motel very clean and comfortable, peaceful surroundings not to far from town centre of Beechworth. The owners Rob and Janelle were very hospitable, nothing was too much trouble and were very knowledgable about the local area. Shall definitely stay there again the next time in Beechworth.

    « Another Great stay ! »

Simply a beaut motel experience, husband and wife team Ron and Janelle very very hospitable and nothing was too difficult close to town center. The Rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained also the owners are very conscientious with the environment. A beautiful outdoor setting, BBQ and pool area as well. Definitely we'll be back again.

    « A Terrific Stay »

Had a terrific and very comfortable stay at the Best Western Motor Inn Nov 20 to 23. Ron and Janelle the owners were exceptional and conscientious about the environment. The rooms were very spacious very clean and fully equipped. A short distance from the town of Beechworth a lovely break away from the daily grind. Would love to stay there again.

« Clean and comfortable country motel »

A pleasant and comfortable overnight stay while in Beechworth. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, the area was quiet despite being on the main road, park-like surroundings added to the sense of being in the country. Nice place to stay when convenience and comfort are the priority.

« A great place to stay in Beechworth »

What a lovely place to stay. Rob & Jenelle have been the perfect hosts. The room is just lovely, with plenty of room and the bed is one of the most comfortable we have slept on. The in room facitlies are first class, modern and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this great place to everyone. Thank you Rob & Jenelle.

« Good place to stay in Beechworth »

Clean, quiet motel with well appointed rooms. Grounds beautiful. BBQ facilities new and kept clean. Pool well maintained. Beds very comfortable. Staff very friendly and obliging. Close to the main street and all tourist venues.

    « Everything you need »

We stayed two nights here after initially being booked in somewhere else in Beechworth and not being happy with the amenities. Excellent clean facilities, quiet rooms comfortable beds, great outdoor area and pool. The hosts were covering for a couple of weeks, Genevieve and Clary were lovely and so helpful, we used the Bbq facilities the first night for tea and sat out on the couches under the pergola. A really well maintained motel with a lovely out door garden and entertainment area. Would recommend.

    « Clean and welcoming. »

My husband and I stayed here last Friday night. The hosts were a relieving couple and were very friendly. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and well appointed. Bathroom was VERY clean, no mould. Bed was very comfortable, but pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Couples were sitting out in the beautiful gardens enjoying their morning cupper. Pool area was very clean and had I had more time I would have enjoyed a swim. Breakfast was okay but I would suggest going into town to one of the cafes; the order was incorrect, eggs were dry and only just warm.

    « Excellent Stay - Highly recommend »

My husband and I stayed here for one night whilst on a weekend away from Melbourne. After staying in a very substandard motel in Yarrawonga it was such a pleasant surprise to open the door to our room. It was absolutely pristine. On the bed was a wooden tea caddy with many different types of tea and coffee too, also teapot and coffee pot and a separate coffee maker too. the bar fridge was very well stocked too. The king bed was very comfortable with a lovely white doona cover and feather down pillows. the bathroom was spotless with the best lighting I have seen in a hotel bathroom for a while,(could actually see to put on my make up) and the shower head was great too. There is also a pool for the summer months and a lovely undercover area with BBQs and outdoor lounge seating overlooking the trees, very peaceful. The owner was very helpful with directions and suggestions to restaurants and attractions to see in the area. I would definitely return if in the area again and would not hesitate to recommend.

« Really welcoming, comfortable motor inn »

We had a lovely night in this motor inn with the thoughtful touches to the heating being on when we got there to the T2 teabags and real teapot. The bed, pillow and lovely white doona were also really above standard.

    « Tranquil Surrounds »

The Beechworth Motor Inn is just a 20 minute walk out of town. You are rewarded for your walk by passing beautiful gardens full of bulbs, blossoms and trees. The motel itself is set in an acre of lawns and trees, with excellent outdoor camp kitchen, very nicely furnished and several sets of tables and chairs. As there are only 10 units it is extremely quiet. The beds were very cosy

« Squeaky clean and comfortable »

Could not ask for more- the room was squeaky clean with everything needed for a comfy stay. The snack bar was well-stocked and all the little details- local magazine, wine glasses, etc available at hand. Grounds are well-kept abd accessible to town.

    « Nice Stay »

Enjoyed my stay, had everything there that you needed. The room was clean, the bed could have been a big bigger for a queen but other then that it was good The hosts were very friendly, would recommend to others.

    « Warm and comfortable »

Nice overnight stop on the way back to Melbourne. Although situated on the main road it was very quiet; most rooms appeared to be occupied, but there was no noise from adjoining rooms. Good free wifi was a welcome bonus.
