"Dirty Room"

We stayed for 1 nite here due to our flight got cancelled. we picked this hotel basically because it is near the airport (10min drive). we got 2 deluxe rooms and 1 suite room. The suite room is alrite, spacious room with 1 extra bed. the deluxe room is at the 4th floor, which somehow seemed to be under renovation. this 4th floor, not only the location was at the corner of the hotel building, the passage was also very dark and dodgy. the room floor was sooo dirty.. which making us doubting the sofa and the bed condition. they provide refrigerator, but no electronic kettle for boiling hot water. the pool seems ok but we did not try it. they provide free airport transfer but they only have 1 car so we need to register first to ensure we can use the car. location wise is very good. 24hrs convenience store is right across the street and a self service coin-laundry machine stall is just around the corner.

My stay with Best Western Resort Kuta was very comfortable. The hotel is well in proximity to the very famous Kuta Beach. The hotel serves good balinese and around the world food. "Lots of potential BUT"

Have stayed in the general location before s I decided to stay at the resort for the last 7 days Initial reaction was of this is great with bigger than average room ,big Bathroom ,comfortable big bed,60 t.v channels and a choice of 4 mini marts across the road Then the negatives kicked with the the worst internet ever with very slow speeds and always dropping out The breakfast was very poor with the same limited selection every day and only catering for the Asian cuisine Housekeeping was very poor with bed linen not changed in the 7 days bath looked as though it had never been cleaned and the roomed smelled of B.O after being cleaned The old saying is you get what you pay for and this is the case with this hotel Will not be staying there again If you are westerner wanting a good breakfast and good internet-stay away

"Perfect base in Kuta."

I stayed at Best Western Resort Kuta one month ago and this was a perfect choice. Based near the airport, this hotel is a perfect base to discover Kuta, Seminyak and the most popular areas in Bali. The staff was amazing and the rooms very big and clean. I had the pleasure to meet the owner and the general manager and they are definitely very kind and friendly. For sure I will stay here for my next visit in Kuta.

Really felt at home here. I have stayed in a lot of hotels but never experienced customer service to this level. Every staff member deserves a pay increase and the General Manager is amazing! Price is unbeatable and there is several great Warangs near by..A short stroll to major shopping centres and entertainment. Definitely will be back.

"Holiday with daughters "

Stopped here for 11 nights first time in Bali. The hotel was amazing nice and clean rooms were really large and the beds were great. The staff are so friendly they changed my room so I was on the same floor as my daughters. The pool is great and breakfast was lovely not what I was used to but got there. 24 hour mini marts over the road are handy and the beach and sunset are 10 min walk through the very safe alleys. 3 mins from the water park as well. Kuta town is 6-7 mins away. Really was perfect for us and I will be back in 2020.

"Our regular bali go to"

This place may not be the flashest hotel in bali but it is reliable and consistent. Breakfasts are good. Pool is lovely. Largely occupied by chinese and korean travellers who spend most time away on tours so it is very quiet. Staff are terrific. Handy to local warung. Phone sim shop opposite ... close to the airport. Very reasonably priced. We use this for our start and finish days and pop off to other bali delights in between. Good parking on sight. Feel very much at home here.

It is great place to stay near kuta beach. we had king size bed which is very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and kind specially Jordi. Also, Breakfast is very enjoyable during our stay. I really enjoy my stay.

"Good, quiet rooms - average amenities. Good place for a layover"

We had a one night layover and enjoyed our stay at BW Resort Kuta. Rooms was equipped with 2 full beds despite our request for 1 king-size. Were allowed to upgrade after we paid an extra $7.5 - that was ok. Room was a little nicer. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was not included in our booking - we were offered breakfast for $11.30 each, but it was not quite that level of a breakfast set up - opted to eat elsewhere. Service was very good, polite and helpful. Overall, a very nice low-key stay for an overnight enroute to somewhere. Unfortunately an incessant tapping of hammers ALL MORNING LONG ruined the morning we were trying to relax and enjoy the peace.

I had a very large room and day bed with a beautiful large bed it was great. Seems great nights sleep will make everyone happy. Bathroom was also large and the very clean. Sheets were lovely and white with lovely soft white towels. I will be here for 3 nights . Not far to walk to places. The hotel is extraordinary and very good value. Staff were friendly. Trully I recommend this hotel.

"Above Average, Large and clean rooms, Friendly staffs."

Stayed one night with family. Advantages: Room pretty wide enough if you take the deluxe room. My 2 years old boy was very happy in the room. Rooms are clean and facilities are quite satisfactory. Staffs are very friendly. Disadvantages: Breakfast menu was very normal and not many options, not sure it is because of the very low season and not much customers in the hotel during our stay. The menu was worse than the one when we stayed first time in 2013. The kid pool was not very clean. The best western group should start to look at into Room furniture and facilities conditions if they want to keep it up ' best'.

Stayed at best western resort kuta..been there a few times now and keep going back'tried a few other places but this just feels like home..had my 50th birthday and they surprised me with a cake and balloons...family friendly '..clean..will be back...

"Doesn't live up to my expectation"

When I ordered this hotel through a trip package, I expected it would be the same with the other best western, but it does not live up to my expectation. Upon arrival the receptionist was not aware with my reservation. The hotel seems old and broken down. They did upgrade my room from superior to the one with bath tub. Then when we entered the room, it was big and old, never have I seen or felt a hotel with such dirty floor and sheets. They felt like it has not been changed for weeks. There were mosquitoes every where. The breakfast was so - so. The only pro's was the wifi is stable and quite fast, and the location is in front of the mini market with few food stalls so it was easy to find food. It is only about 3 - 4 km from the airport.

"Ok Hotel"

Stayed here for 5 nights in 2 interconnecting rooms. Our rooms were large with views of the pool....Good balcony too. Breakfast was very average as not much western food (mainly indonesian)...location not so good for people who don't know the area, but for us great. The hotel is super quiet, and personally think it shouldn't be under the best western banner as it is lacking quality and is a tad tired.... Staff at reception didn't come across as friendly, but they were efficient. Overall, ok for a short stay, but seems the hotel isn't aimed at the western market.

This hotel offers good service and friendly staff . The rooms are very clean and hotel location near by to shops you can purchase all kind this you near like light snack and beer. There is a Indian restaurants near by but no chance to try their food. The room are big feel very comfortable.

I booked through myfave and i think i got upgraded to a pool view room which was not informed upon check in.. The breakfast was so so and i found many fruit flies around the fruit platter and the fried rice was hard.. Most importantly, I noticed that my room door #3115 can be opened without a room key which is truly crucial issue and I reported immediately to the Front Office Manager and he was intended to give me a late check out until 01 or 02 PM but I refused.. Overall, it was nice stay but would be better if the room door is working properly as I only noticed on departure day.. One more thing to take note is the room key.. Do not lose it or you will be charged at IDR 100,000 as informed by the Front Desk..

This was a good hotel to stay at. We got a free room upgrade which was wonderful. Food options were not so great, but were good enough. The only negative thing I can think is the location of the hotel. Not too close to the beach or the market. But, a very good budget hotel.

Quite nice rooms and comfortable bed. Air conditioning unit was noisy but necessary due to the heat and humidity. Being a non smoker was not happy that if we wanted to sit outside by the pool area at the restaurant there is no designated non smoking areas so anyone can smoke anywhere and is quite disgusting when trying to have dinner. Pricing and service was sensational but the rooms need some updating and maintenance as the silicon around the bath and sink were mouldy. Breakfast buffet doesn`t cater very well as selection does not even include bacon or if there is bacon it is artificial BEEF bacon?? Close to 3 shops across the road and 24hr and ATM. Avoid the "Private Taxi" guys at the resort as they are a rip off. Want 70000RP(47AUD) to go 2klms. Always call a Bluebird Taxi which have meters and can do same trip for $10000-30000($1-3AUD)

Lovely hotel. Not to far from the beach ans shops. What makes the hotel good is the way the people from reception and restaurant perform towards the guests!! From the reception I would like to mention Eka. From the restaurant I would like to compliment Prima! Both young people who perform splendid in their jobs. Allways a smile and energy! Nice hotel budget with staff are very friendly and helpful. Near to the airport, close to the center of kuta, only 15 minutes walk to the nearly beach. Hotel has a huge swimming pool, also swimming pool for kids. overall was great for the price.

Very nice family hotel, 10 minutes walk to Kuta centre past the back of water bomb park . Rooms big and spacious but very dated in most things bathroom just appears well used. But how long do you stay in your room? Breakfast ample choice of different cultures only thing missing is bacon and baked baked beans , served 6am till 10am but not pushy for bang on 10 . Why not do it 7am -10:30 as generally people still there at 10:30.Staff are really friendly and nothing too much trouble . The pool is one of best I've seen large different depths even a 3m section which we rented dive gear to do some training in and hotel was fine with it . Obviously they must have had a dive school here before. Never ate at hotel but people said portions very small. You got lots nearby after 10 min walk supermarkets across street , laundry for 40p a kg a cross between supermarkets.. Suggestions ......dated property especially bathrooms , had to ask for towels 5 days in a row ( fine bringing them but shouldn't have to ask ) . Biggest problem only 6 Sunbeds the pictures show lots more so it is very poor for sunbathing when you have a great pool . Drinks could be cheaper then everyone would stay here through the day and night . These are only suggestions I would highly recommend this hotel for amenities and location

The hotel is very nice with kind staff. Everyone is welcoming and cheerful. It has a huge swimming pool with a bar. Nice place to stay and chill. Would surely recommend it to everyone. We are vegetarians and since there was nothing vegetarian in the breakfast, the chef made vegetarian noodles for us specially. Kind gesture.

"Baddd hotel"

There are not enough towels.. we asked many times. 3 days we stay and still not have a towel. The towel always arrive at 6 pm. The parking lot is very small.. the bathroom was old and dirty. The floor is full of dust.. The breakfast is not good and not delicious. I'm very dissapointed and never ever come back to this hotel

"Clean, comfortable room, delicious food, perfect location for airport"

We stayed here for one night before an early flight. The check in was easy and we were given a welcome drink and a porter to take our bags up. The room was large and very comfortable with a lovely pool view. Nice bathroom although the bath was a little old with some of the surface peeling off. Had dinner by the pool which was all delicious. The breakfast is a buffet with mix of western and Asian.

"Value for Money"

This is one of the best hotels I stayed in Kuta. Only crappy thing was the AC which didnt cool the room well, but that was quite Ok which gave a decent cooling. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach. The rooms are quite good and the bathroom was very clean. This is one this which is very important for me.

"Low quality "

Room is wet, not clean enough. Mosquito is absent. Horrible!!! They even don't provide waste bin in bathroom. There's not enough towels for use (room for two but there are only one big towel for each). The bathroom is also in very low quality - used water can't withdraw away, wet floor from night to morning. Besides, breakfast with only a few dishes and not good at all. I will never come back to this one.

"Very poor by Best Western standards"

I will start by the fact that BW had messed up my reservation. On arrival of my fiancé and I, they took 30 minutes to process. This appeared to start other problems. We were in room 2203 and this was like being in the center of everything. From being above the restaurant and pool to in the hall where the cleaners stage their stuff. It was beyond noisy. The room also smelled of food in the morning During our second breakfast the staff comes up to my fiancé and I, in front of everyone, and tells us we only have breakfast for one. Wait, my reservation was for two of us. The issue became not about money (that's cheap). It's the principal of messing our reservation up then embarrassing us by discussing in front of other guest. This review could go on for a while, but I'll end with these points. This was my second stay at this hotel and clearly they struck out and missed this time around. Here is hoping BW can improve this facility

"A mix experience"

First thing i want to tell about the location. its in a crowded location and in the remote place as if the end of the world. This hotel is located on a narrow road, so you can not even imagine to take a walk especially for the bikers.. We stayed here for four days. Only two three eateries nearby the hotel. We reached the hotel at around 1.30 pm and it was very hot. and surprisingly the AC in our room was not working. We had to request them several times to allot us another room. as that was the lunch time we went to the restaurant and to our utter shock the restaurant has no fan leave apart aircon. Somehow we ate our lunch. Probably after 3 hrs of our arrival we were allotted another room where AC was working fine.The receptionists at the lobby or the restaurant and the staff work efficiently and sincerely without a fan in the hot climate of Bali. If it rains you have to go to the room from the lobby wetting completely, if you are lucky can get an umbrella coz they have only 5 umbrellas. And to borrow an umbrella to go out they charge you 100000 (one hundred thousand Indonesian Rupiah) as a security. we are the guests there. We dont understand how this hotel managed to get certificate from tripadvisor. the hotel has a shuttle to drop you in a mall but no pick up from the mall. we did not enjoy staying at this hotel. we wanted a cab to go around but they could not arrange. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Plz do not go by the pictures of the management. only the Deluxe rooms are little good.

"A mixed bag experience"

Located 10 mins by car from airport DPS, the hotel offers airport transfers. Used the service a few times during my 30 night stay as I had excursions to other islands. Its a lottery if they pick you up, sometimes there, sometimes not. Hotel also offers transfers to Lippo Mall a few times a day. I read somewhere that location was 200M from eateries etc etc- that might be true, if you are a bird. Opposite hotel there are 3 minimarts, which is quite handy. The BW Resort is in dire need of a rewamp, a scrub, some upgrading and training of staff if the 4-star rating should be taken seriously. Plenty of staff, so it should be possible. Frontdesk staff are courteous, helpful and serviceminded. I made a request for a high floor room, but was assigned a groundfloor room in the corner next to restaurant and by the noise from the pool. Not my idea of a relaxing holiday. I actually spend more time inside my room than outside. Room was of good size and very tired. Colouring, furniture & lightning is gloomy and old. And its dirty. sofa and chair covers are oily and dirty. Aircon is too weak to keep room cool as the doors are quirky and you often have an armada of gekkos visiting. Not a problem, if cleaning would just remove their fekal matter on the panels. Big comfy bed, they will not change your linnen unless you ask them too- which is a first time for me. Linnen and towels are dirty and oily, and you need to check for lipstick, skidmarks and dirt before using it- I did mention this to cleaners several times. the appologized and gave you yet another dirty bunch of towels. That is disgusting. I will upload pictures of this, which I am sure tripadvisor will remove- they usually do. Small fridge, tea&coffe which was actually refilled. TV has an impressive selection of channels. Not much storage for clothing. Curtains are dirty. Floor was not washed once during my 30 days stay. Bathroom was disgusting. Toiletbowl had years of urine down its sides, walls dirty, tub surface painted on top of hair from previous guests, huge mirror with no light, doors dirty and greasy. The mere stench from the suiage system (rotten cabbage) made you want to womit. Bought Mr.proper and cleaned it myself- did not remove the stench. Absolutely disgusting. Probably also a healt hazard. Breakfast had a good selection of asian and european choices, pancakes, bread and egg-station. Delicious. Coffee tasted like tar. Plenty of staff however not really serviceminded. Tables and chairs greasy and dirty. Check your cups and glasses- they are not clean. Supposedly open for lunch, I went out sitting a few times for lunch- no one came to serve. Staff was too busy chatting. Had quite a few dinners, portions on the smaller side but VERY tasty and reasonable pricing. Asking for a menu did not nessesarily mean that they would return to take your order. I got a nonrefundable price when booking as they would charge my card immediately- it was not so as I was only charged when checking in. Had I known I would not be staying there for 30 days. For a short stay, or a transit stay between flight would be recommended for this hotel. But not for a holiday. Most staff are very friendly and hospittable and I felt very welcome at this hotel. I was sure this hotel was a 3 star rating, but it is actually a 4 star rating. which makes me regret even more that I choose to spend my hard earned money here. I would rate it 2 in management and standard and 4 in friendliness. Needless to say that I will not be returning .

We reserved 7 nights at this hotel. Our boat was cancelled so we arrived the next day late in the evening. Our room was not ready and they made us wait in the lobby for 45 minutes. When we finally got to our room, we first noticed the awful smell but that was just a beginning. Bathroom was old and dirty, no shower curtain and when I used the toilet is when I noticed a human faeces on the wall next to toilet paper...how can cleaning service missed that is beyond my understanding. Pillows were gross and curtains had stains all over them (I'm not sure what those stains were...food stains or more human faeces...puke) Next day we requested a new room and they gave us another room which was facing a pool (big deal) it was a corner room on a very busy street. At times the noise on the street was so loud with people shouting and bikes passing would wake us up at night. Air-con was very loud. Bathroom was not very clean and had dry piss in the corner and smelled like it as well. We complained to the manager and to the place we booked our stay through and submitted pictures to both and asked for a refund for our fist night or discount but when the booking agency contacted the hotel they acted like they knew nothing about these issues! . This is nothing close to being a resort. Waste of money. We will never come back even if it's free. This place is gross!

Rating of 3 stars nearly 4 but let down by a few little things. Noise,maintenance,breakfast. Nice hotel for a night if your in transit but there are new nicer places within the same area. With a little maintanence the hotel could be back to near new. Noises form doors closing every time some one comes and goes from there room. Breakfast disappointed me feels like there trying but failing

We stayed at the Best Western Resort for 1 night as firstly, we'd stayed at the other Best Western in Kuta, and liked it, and secondly, it was close to the airport. The price was good value and our room overlooked the garden / reception area. The quality of the room was excellent as was the size (we had a deluxe, I think) and it contained the usual tea/coffee/water/towels and toiletries. The only two disappointments about the room were firstly, it was an interconnecting room (i.e. a door leading into the room next door) however, fortunately no one was staying in that room when we were there. I have always found interconnecting rooms to be a lot noisier. Secondly, it was close to the road which was a very busy road with scooters / motorbikes using it from first thing in the morning to late at night. If I were to stay here again I would book a room overlooking the swimming pool as these are furthest away from the road and less noisy. The swimming pool area was a great place to relax and unwind. The hotel is about a 10 / 15 min walk away from the Discovery mall so not too far and a taxi to the airport is rough 50,000 Rp and takes about 5 / 10 mins.

It was nice. We was there 16 days. For the price is amazing. Personal is very nice and kind. BUT: Room are not 100% clean. If you want to have bath you need to tell personal or you need to clean it by your self. Food in restaurant is amazing BUT the smallest serving in Bali. Which is big problem for us. Our conditioning was working good .. We told it on reception 4 times and they did nothing. Breakfast good. They change something every each day. Pool was nice and clean every day. Wifi not so fast but okay. But again for the price I was satisfied. Thank you and see you next time ! :)

Me and my bf choosen this hotel two times. At the beginning of out trip and at the end. We decided to came back at the end because the standard of room was ok. The staff is helpful and patient :) room and bathroom are clean and big. In every room is mini bar with tea and coffee. Breakfast was ok. If you are looking for hotel near airport you should chose this one :) they even have free transfer from/to the airport! Best regards for reception :)

I couldn't fault this place. The grounds were very nice, the staff were helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. For the money, it definitely represents value. The location wasn't great and a little far from things but having a motorbike certainly helped. Breakfast was decent but needs to be replenished quicker when it's busy. Had to wait for coffee, milk and forks. The pool was a good size and deals on bottles of beer and cocktails are always a bonus. Enjoyed my stay.

Rooms are big as well as the bathroom and clean. Which you may expect from a Best Western hotel. Big swimming pool. Location is not one of the best. Many rooms are located an a very busy and loud street 24 hours. We could not sleep from the noice which came from the street. The food and beverages are much too expensive in the restaurant. Really such prices you may expect in a Hilton hotel but not this one. Staff friendly and helpful.

Arriving in the evening, a wonderful driver picked us up at the airport and brought us to the hotel. The front end staff were lovely and the room was incredibly large and cleaned immaculately. The pool was huge and very clean (crazy music, though!) and the free breakfast was delicious and lasted until 11am. Wish we had stayed here longer than two nights as the other Best Western hotels in Kuta don't compare! The only issue was the poor and broken drainage in the sinks and shower, but that's hardly something to complain about :)

Situated about a 15 minute walk or or 5 minute taxi from Kuta Square, hotel has a 10am free shuttle to Discovery Mall or beach. Even though its off the main drag the street is still busy. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The pool was good. Breakfast was just ok. Food and coffee never hot enough. Convenience stores and good massage salon and laundry just across the road. I would stay somewhere else next time, closer to the beach.

We booked into this hotel as part of a wedding party for my stepsons wedding in June (22-24th). The arranged pick up at the airport went smoothly. The Booking.com early check in (we arrived about 12.00) was not possible so we sat in the dining area until our room was ready. The poolside room was clean and pleasant. The following morning when I woke I noticed the bathroom drain had seeped sewage onto the floor by the toilet. I mopped it up with the bathmat and went to tell Reception. They said they would clean the room while we were at breakfast. They did. The second morning when I woke about 8 30 the entire bathroom floor was awash with sewage. I again informed Reception. By the time I returned to the room it was also in the lobby area so I couldn't reach our toiletries or our clothes. A member of staff was sent in flip flops to mop up - I suggested they get Wellingtons. By this point the sewage was seeping out into the corridor and into the sunken courtyard. (The septic tank had obviously not been emptied early enough). Another member of staff put down towels to stop the water reaching the bed and passed over our clothes and toiletries so we could pack and leave the room. They said we would be found an alternative room for the morning before we checked out at 12.00 and we should go to breakfast. The manager would be told when he came on duty at 10.00. We were eventually given another room on a higher floor - the bathroom had been cleaned for us but the bed wasn't changed. We were able to shower before we checked out. Meantime a tanker arrived to empty the septic tank. On checking out I asked for a refund as I felt this was unacceptable. (In the UK the hotel would have been closed due to the health hazard as the pool and the kitchens could have been contaminated). They took card and e mail details as the manager wasn't available (and hadn't been to apologise). On our return to the UK on 28th June the money had not been refunded. I had a lengthy and expensive £10+ call to Best Western International Customer Service Department who apologised verbally and said they would chase it up. The money was repaid on 1st July. I haven't had a written apology yet. There were more than 20 people from the wedding party in the hotel including small children. We did not make a fuss but it was not the best experience for a special occasion. The hotel staff themselves were very pleasant but ineffective. The management appear to be inept and not on top of things.

Stayed there for 5 days from 6/7 to 10/7 with my family. It is located in a not so busy road. Opposite the resort were 2 24 hours mart. Upon check in, welcome drinks were served and the Wi-Fi password was given at the same time. A desktop was provided at the lobby. We got 2 rooms for 4 person, although we made a reservation earlier we still get our rooms separated in different floors. My room was still in good condition. It was spacious with quite bright lighting and a king size bed. Sadly, the view from the window of the room is a corridor so basically couldn't enjoy any view from my room. However, the other room we got was not that ideal it was at located at the end of the floor and the lighting was a bit dim with 2 single beds. Cleanliness of the rooms was still acceptable. Hair dryer is provided in the washroom. The staff there were quite friendly. Breakfast with not many choices but the pastry served was a plus point to their breakfast! The were massage & spa services in the hotel. We tried their body massage and scrub because it is way cheaper than those outside!

A 2 hour check on, not a friendly check in at all, sit down , we will bring a welcome drink, which i never received . finally got my room, ohh hello a light wiht dripping water, omg, so i rnag reception 2 times and reported it and they didnt car, so the next day i ask for the superviser, he was in shock nothing had been done to move me, before i got electrecuted.. a noisy hotel with guests chatting all night and then waken early hours but guests, so i got no sleep here, the breakfast is ok, nothing special.. the pool is beautiful, some of the staff are lovely some i really dont know how they hold their job esp the ones on front desk. so not friendly. bathroom supplies were never replaced, had to chase up toilet paper. couldnt wait to get out of there..i checked out a day early..couldnt stand it any longer, the noise of other rude guests got to me in the end, we did have dinner here which was very nice.. there was so much dirty grim for other people bodies in the bath tub i had to go buy cleaning stuff myself and clean it off,, yuk

Room: dirty floor, dirty bedsheet, dirty room desk, broken shower head, broken terrace access door, bad air con. Service: right after i checked in into my room i found the terrace access door was broken, so i rang up the reception and got a reply "every room has the same condition of door", at first i tried to accept that answer and i asked for my room to be re-cleaned up because the room was dirty. When i got back to the hotel my room was still in the same condition, i even saw the same dirts on the same spots, which made me assumed that my room had not been re-cleaned up. So i rang up the receptionist again and one housekeeping & one engineer came to my room afterwards. The housekeeping wiped the room desk, the floor, and the engineer checking on the air con. Before they left my room, the housekeeping said "cleaning is done, but please wait about the air con", so i waited. After 20mins later, i rang up the receptionist again to ask about the progress of my room's air con and the receptionist said "according to the engineer the air con was just fine". I asked the receptionist to ask the engineer to come to my room and give me some explanation because he had made me waited for a long time (it was midnight) with a notice "please wait about the air con", but the engineer did not show up. So i went down to the reception and unexpectedly the engineer was there. I asked him "sir, aren't you the engineer who checked my air con?", he replied "Yes. Why? The air con is just fine. It cannot get any cooler. If you want it to be cooler, it should get repaired all, the unit+the outdoor, otherwise it just gonna be the same". The hotel's engineer showed a very improper attitude. It was very unpleasant.

I booked myself in this hotel as it's near to airport and discovery mall. There is a huge banyan tree in the middle of the premises. I like it, felt really "Bali". The room was amazingly spacious and comfort but had a problem with the aircon on the 1st night of my stay, a little bit annoying as it was in the middle of night and the Maintenance staff was unable to handle on his own. I was finally moved to another room, luckily the aircon functioned well. I will back if the maintenance is better than my last stay.

A neat hotel with great hospitality. The staff were very polite and helpful. As we were pure vegetarian, they took special care to cook vegetarian food for us. They guided us with the local markets and attractions. The pool was clean and well maintained. The main advantage is, it comes under your budget.

Lovely and very clean hotel (and I'm the picky one) close to airport. Rooms with good facilities and such a huge pool. I can't even speak highly enough about staff which is absolutely amazing always smiley and very very friendly. Food was also great so we ended up eating only in hotel. My only minus was dealing with reception which I didn't find as helpful as rest of staff there. Otherwise our stay was great even when it was only for one night (if we knew how great it was we would book for longer). By far the best of The Best Western hotels we ever stayed in. Definitely recommended. And make sure you book for spa too. Warm stone massage is like 90 minutes in heaven! Thank you for our stay!!!!!

The first thing you see when you walk in to this hotel is the HUGE FICUS tree or pohon beringin. The tree is very big & tall, & you can watch the hotel's staff do the offering ceremony 3x/day. We like sitting under the tree in the morning, afternoon ,even at night. The hotel's room big & clean, you can feel the balinese's touch. I like the 3m deep pool, you can practice DIVING !....hahaha... Can walk 10 minutes to Kuta beach & Waterboom or It's worth the price !

Provided one way comfortable transport to or from airport. Also staff honest, efficient and serve with a smile. When weekday hotel is willing to allow late checkout at a reasonable fee. Location quite central too within walking distance to Kartika tourist area and Kuta beach. I especially like hotel layout of open air courtyard with some tables and seats and also FnB outlets. This is a great hotel to relax and recouperate before or after adventurous trips to islands like Lombok and Komodo Islands. All in all this hotel is typical of Indonesian hospitality and beautiful ambience.

I took my other half with the little one for a second honeymoon to Bali, found this nice quiet hotel with great price, spent a very happy week. Rooms are good, breakfast was excellent the little swimming pool was very relaxing. The location is not to great, but just a walking distance from an air open shopping mall, where you can have quality food.

Best Western resort is one of the best properties in Bali, close to Kuta Beach (5 minutes walk) with access to Department stores and shops offering good value for money. We stayed here along with family for 4 days and the rooms are spacious and offering all modern amenities. Eventhough it situating in a small space effective utilisation of available space is ensured. Preservation of a big Banyan Tree is commendable and is kept neat and clean in spite of heavy rains pertaining during night time during our stay. Pool is large and is offering a fine child pool area too. The Spa near to the pool is offering very cheap and nice Balinese massage and is offering good discount for family packages, The poolside restaurant is offering breakfast even though Indian variants are not available. Staffs are very friendly and helpful and special mention on Jerry in the reception whom helped to get the driver for a days trip.

We booked into a 2 star next door and lasted one night. We got a great last minute deal which meant we stayed at BW for the same price!!!!! Nice rooms, good AC, good pool etc. but the best thing we felt was that it feels like you're living amongst where the locals live and eat, when you walk out the gate. It's a little hard for most taxi drivers to find but tell them it's behind Waterbom and show them a map and its all good. We walked to and from Waterbom, a 10 minute walk no problems. Do take your phone maps just in case as the small alleys can be a little confusing if you don't get your bearings. Staff are great and helpful- a really great place. Bathroom and bedroom was sweet. Again we got a really good deal here online so we were stoked.

Wanted clean and tidy accommodation close to airport as late flight in and ease of distance to markets b4 heading to other accommodation. Found a complete surprise in this accommodation. Lovely staff, room fantastic, quiet, Bali style, so the atmosphere still heard. Absolute gem of a place. Near nice restaurants and 10 minute walk to where we chase our bargains. Mini marts opposite, breakfast good. Not a complaint...wonderful stay

This hotel is quite far away from Kuta Beach..but this one is quite nice. In front of the hotel there are Circle K and other mini market. And the hotel staff also standby to get the guest taxi (blue bird taxi) Breakfast was okay not too many choices but it was okay for me. The room is quite big. The swimming pool also clean. I enjoy the stay while i was there.

The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities that people have come to expect from a hotel room these days and was great for the price we paid for the room. Breakfast was basic but good. Our family of 5 (with 3 small kids) stay at this Hotel for one night after arriving at Bali very late at night (before moving to a better resort the next day). It was a decent comfortable stay for one night for the price we paid. The breakfast buffet the next morning was also fine. I recommend this Hotel to those not spending too much time at the Hotel and those needing a brief stay (I would not say it is a place for families with children).

This was the second time my husband and I stayed in this property, and we could not find any faults. The service was excellent and the room was clean with comfy bed. We arrived really late in the hotel, the night staff was really friendly and promptly and he also upgraded our room!!! The location of the hotel is very convenient to all the attractions in kuta area and surroundings. Thank you best western, we will definitely come back!

The hotel is bit away from the downtown, but we wanted to stay away from the city life for a while. We received a very warm welcome & they had decorated the room so very well, i was overwhelmed. I was here for my honeymoon, this hotel made it even more memorable. I had read mixed reviews about this hotel before i stayed there. But i should say, it is worth each penny i spent. They have the best pool & it was opened till 10pm with bar. Rooms were good, breakfast could be made better. These guys make good pizzas too. Overall, i loved staying here. If you are planning to visit outside around Bali/ a day trip outside, this is the hotel to stay as it is very near to highway. I would certainly visit them again.

Old but comfortable hotel, location not really strategic with is need to take taxi to go to Kuta Beach. Convenience, laundry service available available just outside of this hotel. Very basic breakfast but sufficient for me.

"In the middle of nowhere"

The Hotel is a little outside of the life but quiet and nice hotel. They have a aircon problem. I changed the room once already but still not cold. the staff is nice and friendly. If you stay here better get a motobike. To walk to the beach it takes 30min.

"Poor service, Clueless Staff"

I stayed in this hotel feb 2016. Over the email, they said they will over pick up from airport, but no body showed up and when i mentioned this to the reception, they didn't even apologize. Even if you have certain room preferences, out of their sheer laziness they simply lie in the beginning that they don't have availability. If you over insist, they accommodate your request. They "supposedly" have a bar and the bartender does not not know how to open wine bottle. Rooms and all are good.

Great experience for 3 night in Best western Kuta resort , all the staff has best hospitality , afordable price. Easy to get to all touris services area. Cheap massage available, wonderful pool area, room size is more then enought for 2 of us Finally it is recomanded. Soo fantastic.

Was stay here about 2 nights. The room so spacious. The bed and pillow really comfortable. We have room with balcony. Pool was clean and nice. Near from shoppin centre and restaurants just 10 minutes walkin. Just minus A/C not too cold and parkin area too small. But overall, really good hotel with affordable price!! Wud like to stay here again next time xxx

"Ordinary hotel"

Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff are good and helpful but some facilities do not working properly. A/C are not cold enough, my kettle is broken. So i have to call the reception to make replacement. The choice of food for breakfast is poor. Some menu has a bland taste. Just another ordinary hotel.

This hotel was nice and comfortable. Located in a residential part of Kuta so you are able to experience the real everyday life of Bali. The 24 hour convenience store across the road was very handy for buying bottled water, snacks etc. The hotel pool was awesome, always clean and refreshing to have a swim in at the end of a hot humid day. Buffet breakfasts were tasty with a big variety and filled me up for most of the day, although it did get hot in the alfresco style restaurant in the morning heat so i would suggest some ceiling fans. Room service meals were so tasty and so cheap, my favourite were the lumpas! The staff at this hotel were so lovely! We were always greeted with big smiles and staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Well done and thank you for a great Bali holiday!

The rooms are spacious, but looks gloomy and old. Need maintenance here and there. During our stay, i noticed the shower curtain looks a bit old and dirty, our toilet can't flush, and the bedsheet smells funny. But i like that the hotel has mini fridge and electric kettle in the room. They also provide hairdryer in the bathroom. Toilet is equipped with water jet washer. Staff's friendly, very generous with extra towels. The swimming pool's quite lovely. There's wifi that can be accessed from the room.

We stayed at The Best Western Resort Kuta, lovely friendly staff always with a smile and very quick to respond. however the breakfast needs a special mention as the same food was repeated too often and very little choice. We occupied room 1120 and 1121 and room 1120 was quite disappointing as the ac was not at all functioning and leaking most of the time and the toilets need an upgrade for sure with the water leaking all over the place. However good food if you looking for sea food especially along the lane leading to discovery mall, there are a few including sea food the one with a huge crab on the outside, we had our anniversary dinner there, we also visited Jimbaran beach for the best sea food, this was purely on the recommendation of our mate and guide (wont call him a driver) we just loved his company and his friendly nature Astong Rofir was a really gem the kids loved him all the time. Astong Rofir Mobile Tel: 082247408648 who can be contacted on Face book ensured we visited places that are worth important for families with young kids. The trip was overall a great experience especially having made new friends like Ashtong who went out of his way to make the trip memorable.

would not go to this hotel again. The breakfast choices are very poor, rooms can be cleaner, the bathroom are not bad. Very dangerous to venture out from this hotel as the roads around the hotel are dark at night and not properly lighted.

Would never come here. The reception is absolutely useless. My first room was leaking from different parts of the ceiling and then I was transferred to another room where the shower was horrible and the door couldn't be opened. (Will load pictures of the bath tub)The reception isn't customer driven and extremely bad at communicating. Probably the worst hotel I have been at. I guess if the rooms had no issues I wouldn't be complaining. Since I won't have to deal with the reception. The only plus side is the pool and the size of the rooms.

Great hotel.Lacking service, staff are really lazy the rooms are poorly maintained and the bar staff are almost nonexistent. It's a shame such a hotel is left to run itself in to the ground. The AC leaks onto the floor and the staff are reluctant to change my room. My room gets serviced and they fail to supply more water even though they say the water out of the tap is undrinkable. Great hotel but unfortunately poor management is ruining it.

I travelled to Bali to bring in the new year of 2013 along with my friends. I stayed at Nest Western resort Kuta for 5 days. It was a comfortable stay with good rooms and restaurants. There is a pool with a bar attached, perfect for relaxing on a sunny day. Although the resort is not very close to the beach, the travel options are many from here. Lot of cabs were available and hence transportation was not a problem. It was definitely worth the money place.

Stayed here for a few nights with some friends while on a surf trip. Fresh water. Free brekky. It was a nice place , clean and comfortable. It was nice to get a touch of the states while we were abroad. Just don't get your laundry done there!!! To much $$$. Besides that I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Welcoming staff. Good food. I'd recommend it.

We stayed here only for 7 hours before catching an early-morning flight home but found the room comfortable with cold aircon. The pool was nice and cool and they have a sunken bar with drinks available at reasonable prices. There are 2 convenience stores just across the street. While being only a 5 minute drive from the main street going into Kuta the area felt very residential and not tourist-oriented so we wouldnt stay here on a future visit. Drivers on hand for the quick drive to the airport which was great.

I had a great stay here! Very professional staff, nice pool and comfortable rooms. This best western is definitely a step up from their hotels back in the US. It's not very close to the beach but the quality and service can't be beat.

We stayed for 1 week here, we have stayed. Before. Staff are attentive and very pleasant. The rooms are of good quality for the price paid, good location with a 5 minute walk to Main Street, with a few good places to eat close by and day spa across the road. The only thing I would suggest is to add some bacon or ham to the breakfast menu I really missed this last time we stayed they had bacon this time just sausage only and they were not very pleasant, little choice for diabetics. Checkin and check out was quick and easy. Will stay again.

"Comfortable and value of money"

We stayed there for 3 nights. Location close with many tourist attraction but it is a little confusing to get there, especially there are 4 best western hotel at Kuta. Staffs are friendly and efficient, no beach but you can feel the bali atmosphere and hospitality there. Good and clean room, wifi ok. Breakfast not good, we can only eat egg and fruit.

"Very good room with affordable price"

Hotel was ok, not a super fancy one but was fine. Room was surprisingly spacious, it has a seating area and quite good view from the room. The 1st room i was staying at had a problem with the aircon so i moved to another room by midnight. Loved the Banyan tree in the middle of the premises. Feels so "Bali". Breakfast is fine, i don't really eat a lot in the morning, so to me they provide pretty well breakfast to start the day. I'll surely consider to stay here on my next visit.

Cons : Smelly room, slippery floor, a closet that couldn't be flushed, average breakfast, small parking lot, not in a good location, average pool. Pro : good services, big room, nearby discovery shopping mall, lippo kuta mall, alfamart and circle k in front of the hotel.

"great quality for its price"

The only downside of the resort was that the young lady at the front desk was very unfriendly. She showed us attitude when we were asking for power plug for our room, and that was the worst service and attitude I encountered during my entire Bali trip. Besides that, we stayed in Best Western Resort Kuta for 2 nights with my wife. Its really close to the airport. The neighborhood is not very convenient but the resort provides shuttle bus to nearby Discovery mall, which is by the beach, and it takes only about 5 minutes by car. As we arrived Bali at midnight on our first day, we did not really want to spend a lot on our first 2 nights. However, the resorts interior, pool, breakfast area, etc were all better than our expectation. The room was not particularly clean though.

I stayed for 3N here. It took quite a long time to check in, seem they didn't have coordination aboutthe room ready or not. One day I brought their towel to do watersport, when I came back they didn't replace the towel in the bathroom. Since I can't use the towel I brought back from watersport because it's all wet, I called room service for new towel and they didn't come at all. Breakfast just ok, there weren't much variations. My room was big
