Aiden by Best Western Austin City Hotel

Front desk staff exceeded my expectations. Housekeeping was also outstanding. Pool area was clean and included pool towels. Good location for easy accessibility to South Austin. Parking lot was well lit and has enough spaces. Breakfast food was good, and breakfast staff was eager to please.

Beware - check everything in your room when you arrive. I didn't and there was no hairdryer. I had no reason to use it so never noticed. After checking out a strange charge came through and when I questioned it they told me the hairdryer was missing from my room. My word didn't matter and the charge has not been reversed. Worse of all is to be accused of stealing something.. never in my life. Otherwise the hotel was nice but wouldn't recommend staying there without a vehicle as everything is far away.

Very nice boutique hotel. Friendly staff. Very clean. Rooms were spacious and nicely updated. Great themed decorations throughout the site. Pool area is especially cool! Grill/bar was closed for renovation but breakfast buffet was provided in one of the conference rooms.

Bed and pillows are comfortable. Attention in Reception is very good. Breakfast is included. Rooms are clean. The only thing, I have found a kind of a black grasshopper on my bed when I came bak from breakfast, so I am not sure if that insect stayed w/me all night long… I do not like those animals!

Great stay, staff was super helpful when checking in. Pool area and hot tub were perfect for our 3 young boys. Perfect unique stay compared to other chains. Restaurant was under construction but they utilized the banquet room for breakfast, which worked great. Area was great for downtown access.

Really excellent hotel. Very clean. People in the front desk awesome. I need to mention the ladies doing house, they were excellent people Very polite ladies. I need to visit Austin in May and June. I will be back to this hotel for sure. I truly recommend the hotel.

Good location, Nice remodeled hotel. Close to Downtown. Staff was kind. I would stay there again. It was clean and newly remodeled. Aiden is a good brand, I wish it was warm I could have used the pool.

Had a great time here. Was in town for a race at CotA. I went to Franklin Barbeque saturday and the race sunday. This place was not far from anything I wanted to do. The property is quirky. I enjoyed the vibes here. The hotel is clean and classy. The room was great. Everything i needed was here.

We stopped at this hotel because it was in the suburbs. Hotel is just off I35. The hotel was clean and attractive. The rooms were nice and everything was in working order. Breakfast was very good. A lot of choices and the food was hot. Our experience was good. The only problem we had was getting a taxi to downtown. It took over an hour to get the taxi. Seems there is a lack of taxis in Austin as Uber has taken over.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My wife appreciated the makeup remover wipes since she forgot to bring them. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. Bed very comfortable and very nice pillows. Very pleasant stay!!! Thank you!

The lobby area ,pool area rooms were very nice. Sorry we overslept & missed the breakfast. The man at front desk recommended Terry Black's, we had a great BBQ lunch. Our room was beautiful, the coffee machine in lobby was a nice touch. The exercise room looked nice but we didn't have time to utilize it

Beds are so comfortable it was sleeping in my own bed! Room was nice and cool when we went in. Loved the newly remodeled bathroom. Only complaint I have is that we didn't stay longer. Rose (front desk lady) was very helpful very nice lady. Only hotel we stay at when we travel to Austin.

Very nice hotel. Complementary happy hour beer on St. patty's Day. Rooms were nice. Checking was quick. In. Hotel district, but a little bit of a rundown neighborhood. What a BW +hotel should be like. Lady at the front desk on 3/17 was super efficient.

Excellent hospitaly.Rooms are specious and clean.staff is cooperative. Breakfast has wide variety of items . Location wise also very close to Vagator beach and all famous cafe's.we love our stay and we will visit again. special thanks to Mr sameer and samip.

The Aiden is a very cute little boutique hotel. The beds are really comfy and thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We'll definitely be back and would recommend to family and friends. We loved the cool colorful fun Austin vibe!!

Hotel is fabulous! So safe! It is gated with interior rooms, a great pool and grounds. It is a large spread out newly remodeled place. We will stay here when we are in Austin. The only drawback is it is not well lighted. Ask for a room near the exit doors for easy entry and exit.

Loved the art decor and ambience of the hotel. The staff was really friendly. The inner courtyard and pool was fun and loved the layout and decorations. The breakfast was excellent and the bar had a shockingly large assortment of scotches. Meet some really nice guests there which added to the overall atmosphere!!

The clerk at check in was super friendly and helpful. She let us pick which room we wanted from what was available. The room was great, clean and comfortable temp. The free breakfast is a plus. I enjoy having coffee and tea available. The hotel is super close to my daughters college too

Probably one of my favorite motels in Austin… Feels more like a boutique hotel at times. Colorful artwork everywhere, pleasant staff, and comfortable beds. Perfectly located off of 35. Close to South Congress, Downtown… All at a great price too!

Very accommodating and friendly front desk staff! Came for the Austin Marathon. They helped me have enough time on checkout day to come back after running and clean up in my hotel room before a late checkout. Made my experience in Austin so much better.

Very.clean , quaint, nicely arranged comfortably not too small hotel. . Perfectly located. The breakfast was fresh and complete, great oatmeal.and very friendly atmosphere. . The pool area is so relaxing. The price was perfect and dog friendly, easy access to everything.

The front clerk was awesome. Helping us with concert we were attending. He asked if we already had pre parking and I told him yes. He said if I didn't an Uber would be better than parking away from the venue and trying to walk there. He was very helpful

Everything was great from start to finish. Check in with the breeze, the staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us a one-page list of things to do in Austin. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing!

We had booked another hotel that was not up to standard. Aiden was wonderful and made Austin a great experience. The room was comfortable and breakfast was fantastic. We enjoyed the fun vibe of the hotel and it had a good location on top of everything else. Would stay again for sure!

Everything was nice but beware the surrounding area of the hotel and even inside had a cricket problem. Room kinda small but enough for 1 person and bathrooms are very clean. I would stay again regardless.

Excellent service and location. Ten minutes from everything. The hotel was very clean and pool area was awesome bonus. The staff was so friendly. Breakfast was good also. We asked for late check out and it was no problem.

Clean, comfortable rooms, nice amenities and exceedingly helpful and friendly staff. If you are mobility impaired, get a room close to the restaurant for the great free breakfast. The facilities are large and somewhat broken up. I would definitely stay again

Hotels feels updated. The full breakfast and restaurant is a nice touch. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. All amenities are available. Pool and spa seem nice but I did not use. Above average gym. Very much recommend.

Perfect location and extremely convenient for a tourist trip to Austin. The staff is incredibly kind and accomodating, allowing for early check-in. They quickly provided a missing bar of soap when we called the front desk. We espcially enjoyed the variety and quality of the free breakfast. For example, the gluten free muffins were standout items that cannot be found at most other restaurants.

Everything was cozy and clean. The front desk staff is very friendly and gave us some good advise and recommendations. The only thing was the elevators are real small. just enough to fit 3 people with luggage, and they're also outside so they're not air conditioned. Which is not a big deal since it's just a few seconds ride.

Amazing hotel experience! The hotel as a nice Texas pop vibe and Mr. Raul at the lobby was great! Always asked if my stay was going well and if anything was needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, yet simple. Breakfast was simple and the amenities were great in the room. If you're going to Austin, this is a great place to stay. Will come again in the future.

Front desk staff was great, clean hotel close to downtown . Great pool area . Full hot breakfast . So convenient that there's a bar and grill in the hotel . Nice lobby area .

Booked via BW for 135 AAA rate. Check in was OK if a bit cold. I was barely thanked for being a platinum member. The lobby is quircky and modern, in line with the other funky competitors (like Moxy). The room itself was a refurbished BW room, with super cool wall paper with TX artists (Joplin, ZZ top, etc...) the usual LCD TV, a nice comfie chair, work station. They have a nice pool area, jacuzzi, with hamacs, and chairs. The gym is somewhat spartiate. One reason i booked here was i needed a EV charging station and they have a few on premise, one for handicaped and the other for all other guests... not great. They do offer free breakfast but i needed to leave early os i got a very basic breakfast bag with an apple, a granola bar and a bottle of water...better than nothing.

Loved the entire vibe of the hotel. We stayed in a king suite and it was wonderful! The bedding was super comfortable and the room was extremely spacious. The area was easy to get around by using Uber. Pool area was super cute and the breakfast buffet was very good. All staff were nice and helpful.

Would highly recommend this hotel. I felt completely safe, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were all polite and competent. The location is extremely convenient too - about 10 minutes from the airport, and easy to get to.

My favorite part was the view to the pool. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I enjoy that there is a restaurant attached to the hotel, makes it more convenient just to relax without having to leave the hotel. Te pool looked nice and well maintained. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Will recommend to others and hope to be back very soon.

For this type room price should be a little cheaper , but I understand why cause it's near the airport . Friendly staff ,quiet place , clean place , traffic around not bad at all , appears safe , good breakfast .

The hotel was very nicely decorated and had an amazing breakfast! Wish they had double queens, but we made the double beds work with our family of 4. Was nice to have a restaurant on site so we didn't have to fight traffic on a Friday night Do wish the pool would have been a bit more sparkling-we did not use this amenity. Overall, great stay for where we needed to be.

Everyone was very nice. We had a quick checkin, they have very clean rooms with soft pillows! We always stay here when we come to Austin, We love Opals divine restaurant also, and there is a free breakfast every am. I highly recommend this hotel

Rose was helpful. Patiently showing me my route to my room on the paper map. Chris and Rolando as well as staff always smile with a warm greeting each day. The ambiance of this hotel is fun and upbeat.

The hotel is nice with a clean swimming pool with lounging chairs and tables. The rooms are clean. The bed is soft and the pillows are perfect. Breakfast is great, buffet style with good options and waffles.

I loved this hotel so much, great service & super helpful. Very happy members and uplifting spirits. Super cute rooms & showers are nice as well. Bar & grill was super nice too, had a couple drinks there, bartender was so cool & fun to talk to. Will return again ! :) LOVED EVERYTHING ❤️

This was a great property at a good value. The breakfast was hot and fresh and with a nice variety of options. The pool area was really nice and the fitness center was one of the best I have seen at any similarly priced hotel. The location was good and the price was a good value for the area and the property itself. My only complaint would be that some of the rooms are more of an old school doors on the outside type of room. Ours was on the inside though and our room was great. Our friends were expecting a bigger bed and I guess had one of the older rooms. Over all though we were all satisfied and would stay here again. Oh, almost forgot...super comfy pillows...that matters!

The staff called me soon after arriving to make sure everything was good and I got a text the next morning to see how my first night went. All the staff was plesant and accomodating. I got a king suite and they didnt advertise there were two bathrooms in there which made it even better suited for my family's stay. They even had tub mats you can use, which I love for the older and younger in the family. My son forgot his toothbrush and they had a complimentry one instead of having to go out and buy one. The pool was cute and 8ft.. we loved it! Overall 10 in the experience!!

This has been our family's favorite Best Western property. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The property was nice, and our room was cute. My kids loved the pool area, and they had towels available. You must always be armed with a room key! I went to go get everyone from the pool, and they had taken both room keys. I then got stuck and unable to return to the hall where my room was or the pool. The kind front desk gave me another key since I had just checked in. Breakfast was great also. The location was a short drive away from where we wanted to go. There was a close 7 11 which we walked to for an icee since it was so hot. They also had a foosball game. This was our kind of hotel.

Loved the cool Austin styling, the pool area, location, and the price was a very good value. The staff allowed me to switch rooms for my second night. The room on the first night had a non-working refrigerator and there was a loud creaking spot on the floor of the room above me.

This place was awesome from the service, to the hotel ammenities comfortable bed and close distance to all the fun things you would want to do when you go to Austin. This is our go to when we return for our next visit to Austin!

Love the place, very welcomeing. Clean rooms and facilities. Room coffee maker and coffee selections are awesome. Breakfast had it all and it wasn't your tipical continental breakfast. Just a minor adjustment on the coffee machines, they will only fill cup half way. Will definitely come back.

Love this hotel! So far it's my favorite. The beds are so comfy. I get adequate solid sleep everytime I stay here. The breakfast selection is huge! Great customer service. Beautiful atmosphere. Fooseball in the lobby. Clean rooms and property. Friendly staff. Pool and hot tub area are an awesome addition. Haven't tried the gym yet.. I'll have to check it out next time. You won't regret staying here

Great from the booking forward. Loved the room - clean and what we needed. They are not large rooms but adequate. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Nice lobby area with a fancy coffee machine which was appreciated. Live music in the restaurant Thursday. Great burgers - friendly staff in the bar. The breakfast was great - breakfast burritos which is a nice touch . The sausage , biscuits and gravy were tasty. Able to walk in 10 minutes to SoCo which we loved . Never used our car- made it to SoCo, 6 th St and Rainy .

My family stayed 4 nights while we visited Austin for a short vacation. The hotel is nicely situated for exploring different parts of the city. It's a nice property, very clean, with fun decorations that go along with the music and mural themes of Austin. Although weather wasn't good for us to use, the pool and courtyard area seemed very inviting. Front desk manager was very helpful and always greeted with a smile.

For the price we paid, it was a really great experience. Place is modern, warm and vibrant compared to other Best Western hotels. Coffee station in the reception 24h and in your room. Hot breakfast served in a very nice resto. Onsite bar and restaurant. Place is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! It feels like a smaller version of Embassy suites. Highly recommend Aiden BW!

**PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT** BED BUG INFESTATION @ Aiden By Best Western @ Austin City Hotel • 2200 S I H 35, Austin, TX 78704 • (512) 444-0561 I have filed a report with Austin Health Department. I filed a claim with their corporate office, and I have filed a claim with BBB. DO NOT STAY HERE. The manager, Raul Torres, is denying my report of infestation. I booked Dec 10 - Dec 11 2022 - Room 202. I noticed a scent in the room. I wasn't sure what it was. My friend and I arrived late. I did a brief check. The bedsheets smelled clean but the room had a stentch. We had been out all day traveling so we were tired. I didn't ask for a different room. In the morning upon waking, I could not stand the smell. It smells like bacon, syrup, and ammonia. It's a very strong odor. I inspected the bed again and found two small blood stains on the sheets. I called the front desk immediately and spoke to the manager, Raul, and we packed-up and checked-out. I explained the details to the manager and he said he would have his staff check-out the room. We arrived back to Houston on Sunday late afternoon. Aiden by Best Western is the ONLY place we stayed on Saturday to Sunday. I have missed a full day and a half days of work to ensure that I wash everything and disinfect many of my items before fumigation can come over. I called the manager, Raul, yesterday (Dec. 14) to advise of the issue after noticing the bites on our bodies. He wasn't available. I was told he would call me today (Dec 15). Nothing. I had to call to follow-up. The manager denied having found any infestation. He denied finding blood stains on the sheets! This is a huge disappointment; denial and avoidance of responsibility. If you've ever had to deal with bed bugs in your lifetime, you will know that a room with such a stentch isn't from a new infestation. This is a problem.

Very happy with the cleanliness of this hotel throughout the facility. The staff are awesome, friendly and very helpful with making sure they give you all the information you need to enjoy your stay, I love the pillows! So nice and soft. The restaurant next to it was great and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

We had planned a weekend in Austin and wanted a hotel that was not too far from the airport, yet also close to SoCo and all the fun activities. The Aiden was just that! The room was clean and spacious, and check-in was a breeze. During our stay, everyone was friendly and helpful. There is plenty of free parking, so we never had to worry about our rental. I'd recommend staying there.

Probably the best service I've ever had at a hotel. Loved the Austin twist they had with the decor. The room was very spacious as well. Not at all what I was expecting from a best western. About a 5 minute drive to downtown

We had a suite with 2 bathrooms which was a bonus we weren't aware of until arrival. The service was outstanding and the entire staff was thorough, friendly and helpful. Loved the location. The reason I couldn't rate this a five is due to the "infrastructure"; too many levels, stairs and difficulties getting to and from places, ie. to the breakfast room & parking lot. Also we had an outside room which wouldn't have been so bad except for the night the trash collectors noisily emptied the dumpster at 3 or 4 a.m. HOWEVER, Austin is a kitschy town and this hotel fits that bill. Highly recommend.

First time back at the Aiden Hotel by Best Western since the pandemic. WOW!!! It's just like I remember it, and still the best place to stay in Austin. Been staying at this well known hotel for years. Nice hip eclectic music city decor that makes you feel right at home in Austin, Texas. Comfortable rooms and beds with all the amenities you have come to enjoy in upscale hotels. Beautiful pool and courtyard area for relaxing. Business and fitness center. Popular restaurant and cocktail lounge on site. Nice complimentary breakfast for all guests. Hotel is conveniently located near all major Austin business and tourist destinations and sites. Lots of convenient complimentary off street parking. Outstanding management and staff at all levels that provide exceptional Texas friendly service. Reasonable room rates. Highly recommend!!!

I'm trying to figure out what exactly I paid over 200$ a night for. The good, is it really is a cool, fun, different interior. The breakfast had a nice selection of foods to choose from, believe on our two day stay there was 5 different hot foods. Outside of that, the mattress definitely needed changed out, the middle was so sunken in. You can hear, EVERYTHING the people around you and definitely above you do!! It makes for a poor nights sleep when everytime somebody walks or flushes the toilets. Location wise isn't terrible, it was easy for us to get places, but not wall. Neat, not worth anywhere near the money for us, we'll choose another BW next time.

Loved this music themed hotel, quiet, comfortable and cozy vibe. very friendly and helpful staff, great bartender! There's a variety of free Breakfast options, all are delicious and we would definitely stay there again.

Raul was super helpful and accommodating when I called to ask to add someone to my reservation. Clean, close to food and bars. Clean pool and hot tub. Free breakfast. Will definitely be staying again!

Trip Advisor led me astray on this one. Presents itself as an update boutique/hipster hotel but aside from the signage, it's a barely renovated highway motel. Room was dark, had a weird smell, no wall light switch (very strange), and virtually no decor. It would be a perfectly fine $90 hotel. But for the $200+ they routinely ask for, more aesthetic effort should have been made. Location isn't amazing either (nothing very walkable nearby, next to highway). The free breakfast was standard motel food. One morning there was no fruit. Coffee un-drinkable. The saving grace was the staff: super friendly, helpful, always around. Pay a tiny bit more for a reliable chain or a place downtown.

Eli and Rose were amazing employees! There were others who were just as awesome however, I didn't get their names. The room was great! I liked the text that was sent prior to my arrival and the phone call after I was in my room to ask if my room was okay. The room was great! The hotel restaurant and bar was great! Overall a great experience!

Great refurbished hotel with a Texas theme fitting for Austin. Very pet friendly policies and staff. They even gave us water for my dog. Overall great stay, will definitely choose this hotel again. Property is maintained very well.

The hotel has very comfortable and cute accommodations, with safe and plentiful parking, delicious food next door, along with very eye pleasing grounds... from beautiful plants everywhere, wooden walk ways, and great wheelchair accessibility. The staff is courteous and professional. The room was clean with a cold refrigerator and good AC. My only personal complaint about the room was that the sink was not located in the bathroom. The location is perfectly situated for driving to downtown or SoCo area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Aiden in Austin. I had never been to Austin and we were there for a concert. The room was clean, the complementary breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly. We would definitely stay at the Aiden again and I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Austin.

We booked this last minute for a night in Austin. This was about $50+ more expensive than another Best Western in Austin about 6 miles away but saw the great reviews and was in good proximity to SOCO. Check-in was quick and easy. We were told there were no king beds so we took the two singles (which we get as it being last minute). The room was quirky and fun as far as decor goes. The room was clean. The water pressure was pretty low in our room. Shower flow was ok but pressure sub-par. We also had to flush the toilet twice in order for it to flush anything down. Not all of the doors leading to courtyard rooms required key use (even though it had the card reader) so people without a room key could walk into the area by our room. Not sure if the door locks were broken or just not armed. The gardeners started working in courtyard right by our room at a little after 7am and you could hear blowers and/or trimmers. This was annoying as we are on vacation and would have liked to have the option to sleep in. We got up and checked out. We took the grab and go breakfast as opposed to having hot breakfast. I cannot comment on how the breakfast is but I am sure it is good as Best Western usually has a pretty decent breakfast. The grab and go was an apple, small water and granola bar and the date on the sticker was from 2 days prior. I would not stay here again, there are better options in the area that are less expensive.

Stayed at the Best Western by Aiden this weekend for a work trip and would highly recommend. Very nice folks here running the place and super clean rooms and restaurants. Will definitely book here next time.

This is the second time in a month we have stayed here and it was great both time. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a great breakfast. We also loved how close to downtown we were to downtown.

The pillows were amazing! Hospitality from everyone I encountered was great. Breakfast was great! The fridge had a strong odor of garlic or something very strong but only used to store a water bottle. Overall very pleased.

It was clean outside and in my room. Front desk staff and housekeeping was very pleasant. Love the to go bags with water and snack for everyone and free breakfast was so good. Nice atmosphere would stay again for sure.

We absolutely love Hotel Aiden and try our best to stay here each time we visit Austin. The staff are always so friendly and personal, rooms clean, and it is a great location. Highly recommend! The pool is also awesome!

Everything was exceptionally clean including the lobby, pool and sauna and the workout room! Due to Covid precautions you have to tell the desk if you want your room cleaned every day and we did and they did an excellent job of cleaning.

If I could, I would give this place a 5 star review, AND a 1 star review. First, the good. This is a cool, super kitschy ‘old school' hotel. The people were super friendly, and everything was smooth.The rate was less than half of what was being charged a few blocks over. Good breakfast in the morning, with lots of choices for coffee, etc. It is very conveniently located. Other than peak hours, it is less than a $10.00 Uber ride to S. Congress. Rooms were very clean, and seemed to have been recently upgraded. The bad: On the last night, my son and I stopped and had a few drinks. At one point, I bought a round for the 8 people at the bar. For some reason, the bartender only poured shots, ignoring the people who weren't drinking shots (including me), and even poured one ‘extra,' which he drank himself. So far, so good. Then, I went back to the room to go to bed. After I left, the bartender came up to my son several times, complaining about the size of the tips I left. That's bad enough, but it wasn't true. I tipped him with every round. Was it 20%, 30%, I don't know. I typically tip AT LEAST 20%, and my son pointed out that there was still a stack of cash on the bar for him. I don't know, maybe I ‘undertipped' him, but that would be very unusual for me. All in all, the whole experience was very off-putting, and basically ran my son out of the bar. I'll stay here again, but won't go back to Opal Devine's.

We managed to get into the Aiden after we arrived in Austin and saw the condition of the original hotel we booked. It was a lifesaver! We were tired from traveling and unfamiliar with the area hotels. They were able to accommodate us immediately. It is a great location just moments away from downtown and close to everything we wanted to see. It was clean,quiet and had great amenities (pool, breakfast, hot tub, on site restaurant). The mattress was new and was more comfortable than my own at home! But ultimately it was the staff who made the difference: Greg, Chris, Raul and Rose all appreciated our situation, got us settled and made sure we had all we needed. Even after we checked out but had to return due to an airport closure, they were sympathetic, helpful and got us back into our room. I can not say enough wonderful things about them or the cleaning staff. This is a terrific, affordable place, The only negative (out of the staff control) is really low water pressure in the shower. The free breakfast had a nice variety and they offer take away bags of water, granola bar and fruit. We highly recommend it!

Hotel check in staff was very nice made checking in quick. The breakfast had a great selection and the lobby was clean. Rooms are decorated with a musical vibe and the pool area has good sights for pictures.

The service was incredible, breakfast was amazing, staff was so warm and friendly . Truly appreciate ya for making my hubby bday weekend a trip we will never forget . Oh My favorite part THE POOL was Perfection

We stayed there prior to an early morning flight. The courtyard with the pool is very nice. The room and beds are comfortable and the ac was cold. They had grab bag breakfast for travelers with early flights (minimal but appreciated). My daughter who also stayed there but didn't have an early flight said the breakfast was good.

All staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. I don't remember their names but every time I had a question or concern it was handled in a friendly and professional manner. Hotel was very clean, well decorated without any gym locker room smell that most hotels have. The attached restaurant Opal Divine's was a great bonus to our stay. Service was great and food was quality. Free breakfast buffet in the morning was perfect! We WILL stay here again!

This will now be my go to hotel for Austin! This was my 2nd time staying here but this time I actually used the gym & pool. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was decent. The room was very clean and they have many things available for you in the front desk. I lost my bag on the trip with all my toiletries. They were able to provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant and more!

Upon arrival, staff was courteous and welcoming. They even called to check if our room met our satisfaction. We loved the decor that definitely gave Austin vibes. Room was clean. Breakfast was perfect for us. Will book this hotel again!

I've had the pleasure of staying at some of the most prestigious hotels in the US. My search started in the middle of chaos. The original hotel I booked was HORRIBLE! I had my elderly mother with me and we had driven from Shreveport. I couldn't subject her to the riff raff I was witnessing. So in a panic in front of this garbage motel, I pulled up Hotels.com put in my filters....and Aiden was one of my choices. There were a few better priced ones, however, I realized, you get what you pay for. Aiden had a very high rating- compared to the other top hotels, so I chose Aiden. I'm sooooooo glad I did. I promise I wo t stay anywhere else when I visit Austin. The front desk, the hotel workers, the restaurant all superb! The ambiance was simply amazing. Thank you so much for providing such awesome customer service!!!

My daughter and I came to Austin for the vegan dining experience. Austin did not disappoint!!!! It was full of great options and a lot of things to keep us busy between meals. Aiden by Best Western was not only a great location but the hotel itself was perfect for us. It was quiet and clean. The hot tub was a bonus. The only negative I would say is the breakfast had only apples and bananas that my daughter could eat, no other vegan options. One of our favorite vegan stops, Bouldin Creek Cafe, was just 10 mins away. This hotel has free parking which was a great plus for the area and close many local attractions. Would stay here again when we come back to Austin.

Eli was super thorough & endlessly helpful when I checked in, fairly late (for me) at night. He was very friendly & a wealth of good info. Just a very nice & chipper dude. In the a.m. Chris was kind enough to let me have another 1/2 before check out time. So, many thanks to all - and a lovely, clean & well-appointed establishment! Only note of criticism would be directed at the dumpster trash collection service. 2:30am…at a hotel. May want to renegotiate/rethink that scheduled pick up time? Eh? All else at the hotel itself went 100% perfectly. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a really a great Hotel with Excellent amenities. My adult daughter and I had a great time at the pool. We were able to order a beer from the bar and enjoy outside next tp the pool. Save this hotel for your next visit. You are going to love it.

They have a roach problem. First night we were there was greeted by a huge roach in the bathroom. I informed the front desk and they moved me to another room. We get into another room then go out for the night. We come back in around 2am only to find 2 more roaches in the bathroom. We inform the front desk again and asked if we wanted to move to another room for the third time !!! We were exhausted and just requested to speak to the manager in which we were told he comes in at 10a. Next morning we get to the desk at 1030 and told the manager comes in at 11a so we leave a name and # so he can contact us. Around 1120a he never calls so we go back up to the hotel only to be greeted by a rude manager named Raul. He informed us he couldn't give us a full refund cause we still stayed in the hotel after the 2nd roach incident..... it was 2am !!! He insisted they don't have a roach problem and it's cause of the heat. I'd say 2 different rooms and 3 different roaches... you got a problem. I'm pretty sure health code is against roaches. It's extremely unhealthy and disgusting.

On the last morning, we found a big cockroach crawling around the room. Took pictures to prove it. We went to the front desk and asked for a refund as this is unacceptable. The lady at the front desk noted it down and told us that the manager will contact us about whether a refund would be possible. We have waited patiently for one week and have not heard anything. My conclusion is that the cockroach problem is not taken seriously and we as customers are not taken seriously. This was the first time I personally have ever experienced something like that in all my travels. If this is how management „cares“ about cockroaches in guestrooms, then I don‘t want to imagine how the kitchen looks like..

My parents flew from Munich to Austin for the first time and they have loved their stay. The stuff did a great job mind made their visit smooth, welcomed and friendly! Glad I booked this place for my parents on their first visit!

We booked this on Priceline as a mystery deal. We were supposed to get a 4 star downtown. This establishment, while perfect for what it actually is, is NOT a 4 star hotel- nor is it downtown. With exterior doors and a somewhat sketchy location, I would consider them 2.5 stars at best. Priceline will not correct their error- so buyer beware on that. If you are a 2.5 star motel kinda traveler, I would highly recommend this place. The halls and rooms had a weird smell, but they were clean. And staff was very pleasant. They clearly value customer service! Request the top floor away from entrances. We heard every step our upstairs neighbors took the entire trip. Walls are thin!!! Avoid the 7/11 next door. We went twice- once to grab milk, once to fill up the rental car. We were approached by homeless for money both times. We were also approached at the intersection by 7/11 every time we stopped at the red light.

The hotel has been renovated and is nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is great and you have quick access to eating, shopping, and recreation. The hotel is quiet and the breakfast was delicious.

Regular sized swimming pool with deep end. Great for family. Rooms are ok really like a motel six. I only stay here when I travel with the kids because of the pool. No room service. Restaurant is onsite but not kid friendly. Do t book room 101 if you want sleep. Close to the door and people slamming it ALL night long. Also beds are only doubles.

We went to Austin specifically to see the bats and celebrate my birthday. This location was close to all the things we went there to do. Spending my birthday with my children and watching the bat show was a great time.

Room mattress is firm, pillows are too soft. hotel is nice, clean, hip and cute. The room fridge is large, great for keeping drinks cold. tv is small. Lobby has a Mexican hot chocolate machine! Loved the texas waffles. Staff was welcoming & responsive. Location- it's a little bit too close to I-35, make sure you room is not facing the highway! It's near to a lot of TexMex restaurants, like Matt's ElRancho. It's convenient to get to the South Congress ave tourist area & the central east Austin restaurant area. Starbucks and 7-11 are across the street. Parking is free, which I heard is hard to find. Easy to get to the airport.

First time ever at an Aiden Best Western and loved it! Front staff on checkin was very welcoming and helpful (unlike some other brand hotels we had been in previously), so it was very refreshing! I think Greg helped us, so kudos to him! Chris at checkout was also very helpful, and over the phone when I called the front desk from the room. I really loved the facility - cool, hip and Austin-ish, room was very clean , comfortable, inner courtyard overlooking the pool, good, safe parking (area felt safe), nice hot complimentary breakfast (pre-made breakfast burritos, etc.) and waffles made to order ; good SIGNAGE of where things were was also appreciated. One laundry washer and one dryer on 1st floor. Upon checkin, we received a coupon for free appetizer from the restaurant downstairs; unfortunately we weren't around enough to use it. Will definitely stay at an Aiden BW again! Kudos BW!

In town for a quick work trip. Loved the eclectic and fun decor, great accomodations, and friendly staff. I love my coffee and enjoyed having a k-cup brewer in room plus some fantastic free options in the lobby. Must try the Abuela's Mexican hot chocolaten

Cute boutique hotel. Had easy access to I-35 on and off. Laundry and hot tub were great amenities. Evan was a great bartender at Opal Divine's Austin Grill. Fast and easy free breakfast with made to order Texas-shaped waffles! We had lunch and dinner...food seemed pre-made and reheated, but was fast. All waitstaff were friendly and did a great job. Hotel was very 420 friendly.

Super cute boutique style hotel with a lot of warmth. Very trendy with upgraded amenities, great lounge areas, selfie booth, great dining area/bar, pool, and hot tub, with so much to do there you don't have to leave. Great location just minutes from south congress and about 10 minutes to downtown. I will stay here again!

This place is in the perfect spot to have some really expensive nice dinners, or the cheapest dinners, so many places to eat. It seems like there's a park every 2miles in every direction. The kids had a blast. Even just driving thru the neighborhoods was nice lots of beautiful homes.

This place is awesome! Great location, quiet, clean with super cool staff. The complimentary breakfast was awesome in the adjacent restaurant - and it wasn't doughnuts, apples and coffee… large selection of items and breakfast “cooked to order” as well. Staff was so friendly and professional! The location rocks as well - easy access and good neighborhood! We found a winner here! I'll definitely be back!!

My wife & I arrived at Aiden in the middle of the night and Greig - the front office staff - was extremely courteous, friendly, helpful & professional! He answered a zillion questions we had and made us feel welcome. We had a good experience with the front office staff overall. The complimentary hot breakfast was good. The only downside is that for patrons on an extended stay, it becomes very repetitive. A little variety would help. Also, we were on the 3rd floor & the water pressure in the shower was inadequate. But these are small shortcomings. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely patronize the hotel when we visit Austin next!!

The location being so closed to all the happening downtown locations, the great affordability, fantastic bar, cool pool, and soothing hot tub were all amazing parts of our Easter Weekend vacation. Something we appreciated greatly was the list of fun interesting local restaurants and places that the hotel concierge provided for us upon arrival to really spark our vacation off and fill in any blanks in our plan.

Very polite staff & proximal to freeway. This is not a walkable area but you have convenience for ride share or commute by car. Needs more modern amenities, enjoyed stay overall but it definitely came off as an economy hotel. Price came out to just over $200 per night with taxes & fees.

This is the hotel that was way beyond what was expected. The staff and decor decor were fantastic! Great amenities in the room and the breakfast that was included was beyond expectations as well. An additional fun surprise was the coffee maker in the lounge and the fun Foosball table. Every one we met was helpful and hospitable. Highly recommend for girls weekend getaway or a work trip if you sadly have to work whilst you are in Austin

We were on a road trip from Alberta, Canada and decided to spend a few days in Austin. I read the reviews on Tripadvisor and most were good so decided to try it. This place is awesome. It is a boutique hotel in the classic sense. It is an older building completely redone. Clean, organized and just plain fun. The front desk staff are amazing and the restaurant is a great place to grab a meal. It is a bit tricky to get into off the freeway but worth the effort. Hopefully we will return some day.

Came to town and had an issue from the 3rd party booking. Raul helped so much and was so kind. He was very on point and tentative with our needs. A great stay and a decent location. Thank you for everything

Aiden turned out to be the perfect place for a family meet up! There was plenty of seating throughout the lounge areas, floor to ceiling mirrors great for picture taking, a foozeball game perfect for the kids and great food from the restaurant. We couldn't have asked for more! The room was very clean and comfortable (love the bedside lamp) and plenty of bathrooms throughout the hallways which came in handy. Loved the hammock although we didn't get to use it during this stay. If I'm ever in the Austin area again, I'll be staying at Aiden for sure!! Oh and the breakfast was top notch considering COVID restrictions. You guys really went above and beyond to provide a decent, HOT breakfast with everything individually wrapped for convenience and safety. Thank you for making our trip to Austin so memorable.

This was one of the worst hotels that I've stayed at in quite some time. It's completely misleading because Expedia told me that I was getting a 4 star hotel but instead I got a run down motel that had a face lift 3 years ago and Best Western is charging for the face lift by giving it a fun name and capitalizing on the fact that this is Austin. The staff was outstanding though. I was given a room in the back of the parking lot that smelled of mildew and I couldn't stay in there and they graciously switched me to a better room almost immediately. I was only staying one night and leaving very early the next morning so it served its purpose but overall the positive reviews on various platforms don't paint the true picture of what you get for your money.

i'm completely confused by the glowing reviews about this place. what are you basing this on?? THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL AS IT ADVERTISES. there is something fishy going on with the way it is advertised. this place is basically a motel with some 'fun' decor slapped on. my room was cramped and clearly super old. it was noisy because the room faced the pool and i could hear people coming up and down the metal stairs all night long. if you would like help imagining what it is like- think of a motel or the average apartment complex where all the doors face outward. that is what this place looks like. there is NO WAY this should have a 4 star rating. i have stayed at so many 4 star places and across the board the similarities are- spaciousness, newness (even if it is an older property, the room looks new), high end decor and in-room amenities like shampoo and coffeemaker. this place just completely does not measure up. i absolutely hated it and even now a year later i am thinking about how much i hated it.

Free breakfast was plentiful and flavorful, and the ladies that ran it we're very cordial and polite and worked very hard to make sure we were happy. I would definitely stay there again

He was very personable, professional and helpful. Breakfast amazing and completely pandemic conscious. There's a gas station right next door. The location is really convenient. We easily got downtown without having to get on the highway.

Exactly as advertised. Nice place, great amenities and will be at least half the price of downtown hotels. Easy access to downtown by going to Congress or 1St street without getting on 35. Breakfast included and restaurant and bar on site. I recommend it!

While researching hotels to stay in Austin the Aiden kept peaking my interest with its music theme. The hotel staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The room was great but I would suggest booking a courtyard view room because the noise of the interstate is quite loud. Great location.

We had a great stay! The room was very comfortable and extremely clean! Jose checked us in and was amazing. He went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay! The hotel is centrally located and has free parking and free hot breakfast, both great pluses. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to stay close to downtown Austin!

The hotel is quaint, but the service is wonderful. They actually have the best included breakfast I've ever had included with a hotel stay. They also checked a few times if things were going well. And chris at the front desk helped me receive a fax with paperwork I needed to travel with. Great service!

This hotel was great, fun chic vibe with music/wallpaper and decor. The lobby had foseball and the which was fun on down time. We didn't swim in the pool, it is nice sized and there is a nice large jacuzzi with a hammock near it to relax. The gym has quality equipment like a pelaton cycle bike/different cardio stuff and great lifting and stretching equipment. The hotel room was nice, updated, very clean and smelled good and fresh. Really cute decor. The bed was a bit hard but I like that, everything was spotless. No, there was not housekeeping but I believe it was available if you asked. I'm used to that since Covid. I requested extra pillows and a blanket and they were brought to me in individual clean bags. I was really impressed with the way the staff worked hard at those small things. Shower pressure was great, there's a small fridge and microwave and a desk. Location was right off the freeway and 5 min drive to south congress area. The restaurant bar was great. Breakfast was so so, had a good variety of eggs, burritos, biscuits, fruit- the food quality wasn't the greatest but I'm kind of a foodie and appreciate fresh food. Nice that they have free, hot breakfast though! I will return here, great deal and fun little spot.

The guy who checked me in (Sadly can not recall his name) was amazing. Really took the time to get to know me. Best customer service I've had in a long time. I was checking in after my apartment caught on fire. so he was a refreshing end to an otherwise crappy day.

The room was ready early! The check in staff was so welcoming and very informative. I even received a call from the front desk to make sure everything was up to my standard andi if I needed anything! The room was very clean! If I am in the area again will definitely plan to stay here!

My beautiful wife and I have stayed here twice with our daughter (who is a French bulldog). The place is always clean and nice, and very comfortable. It's close to downtown, is priced very reasonably, and has plenty of amenities close by. Highly recommend!

Great location, very close to downtown Austin and Cidercade. The room was clean, staff friendly and helpful, and we had a great view on New Year's Eve - watched the fireworks from our window. Parking is free, but the entrance is not gated (make sure you do not leave your valuables in the car, just in case). Definitely going back next time we are in Austin.

What a great staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone is friendly. Chris even remembered us from 2 years ago, that really adds to the ambiance that is already super cool. Lulu in Opal Divine is an awesome bartender. The food is fantastic. The location to Congress is perfect. It's a straight drive through cute houses and flats. This is definitely our go-to spot.

Eli at check in was fantastic, made sure I had everything requested! The room was clean and all the other staff was friendly. It was convenient having Starbucks and a gas station within walking distance! The restaurant attached to the hotel was great as well! Awesome staff and yummy food. Didn't get a chance to get out the the pool or hot tub but it looked relaxing from the view! Hope to make it my regular spot when visiting Austin!

This place sucks! Unless, you don't mind being in crammed spaces, as though you're a hamster… Customer service at the front desk needs major improvement. It's obvious they hate their miserable jobs and it shows in their attitudes. When I called the hotel to book a reservation, I spoke with Raul; he was very professional. This hotel looks like a 1960's apartment complex, converted into a bunch of little rooms; and I do mean “little” rooms; borderline-claustrophobia-little. The hallway “lighting” is poor and their parking lots are “slanted”. If the person parked beside you doesn't hold their vehicle door, ding! Ding! Ding! The topper - they don't serve breakfast until 0700 hrs. What about those of us whom “begin” work at 0700? Almost all BW hotels serve breakfast @ 0700 hrs.. This hotel has a “grab and go” consisting of a generic bottled water, an apple and a flattened granola bar. Thank heavens for 7-Eleven, across the street. I'll stay at Motel 6 before I stay here again.

I was duped into staying here by Priceline's app. This is NOT a 4 star hotel. This isn't any closer to the airport as other similar motels. Just like any other motel, the staff is aloof, property photos "catfished" and place isn't particularly clean or pleasant. It's a run of the mill cheap motel with a fresh coat of paint. If you really-really need to stay near the airport, stay at a motel with motel pricing. Not a motel with luxury hotel pricing. Otherwise, just stay a hotel downtown and spend the extra 8 mins on the road to have a clean, proper service and appropriately described and priced experience.

Cleanest hotel I've ever stayed. Great location for where we needed to go. Stayed 5 nights and used many of their facilities. My son loved the gym. It had everything he needed. I personally loved the pool and hot tub!!! Such a great location in the middle which gave us privacy. Breakfast every morning helped out so much. There was a nice variety of foods too. I needed to wash clothes and the laundry room was close and easy to use. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we needed directions or advice. I can't say enough how enjoyable this hotel was, and like I said earlier….SO CLEAN!!!!! Highly recommend and will stay again. Thank you Best Western!

The recently renovated Aiden is a friendly, well staffed, clean hotel with plenty of amenities. Pool, hot tub, restaurant, breakfast, baggage service, probably more? I didn't ask. it's located just south of downtown Austin and a few miles from AUS. Props.

Good location for Austin, close to the freeway and other attractions, restaurants, the Capitol, downtown and reasonably price for the hotel, clean facilities and nice staff. Joseph was a nice staff member.

Our stay was problem free. The only thing we had an issue with was the cleanliness of the room. The floor clearly hadn't been washed or vacuumed in quite a while and there was a lot of dust. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. That was what kept happy in the end. They do have a late checkout option for only $25 and that was great.

Upon early arrival our room was ready way before check in!! My sister arrived a few hours later and she had a reservation issue due to the 3 rd party seller. Joseph went above and beyond to resolve her issue with very little stress. THANK YOU !

This hotel is overpriced. Best way to explain is one step above a motel 6 and was basically the same price as the Marriott. If I would've known the quality I would've spent $50 more at the Marriott downtown.

Over priced for a room that has rust on bathroom hinges, ants and crickets in the room and constant loud noice due to door being directly in front of the parking lot on the first floor. I could constantly hear people walk by, cars coming and going and headlights through the window.

I stay here every time I'm in Austin. For business or pleasure. I also I have a colleague stay here as well. The front desk always recognizes me and as my favorite room. The breakfast is free and one of the best and the city. The mattresses are comfortable, and the room is always spotless and smells clean. Highly recommended six minutes away from Congress

Overall great value. I'm very big with customer service and they didn't let me down - very accommodating & friendly! This was in every dept., management, housekeeping, custodial, and restaurant. The pool was great; water temperature perfect, clean, lots of towels, and perfect water levels.

I would definitely stay here again, clean rooms and hotel, wonderful and friendly staff!!! Highly recommended this hotel!! Great location. Management was awesome! They took amazing care of my family while we were there.

We had stayed here before so booked again when we were coming back to Austin. Check in was easy, they were very accommodating with my need for a late check out. I booked a King suite and was thrilled to see it was two separate rooms, each with their own bathroom. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, all amenities were provided. The breakfast was tasty - my kids were impressed with the Texas shaped waffles! We'd definitely stay here again!

This is our 2nd stay at an Aiden Inn and we loved both hotels. The pool area and pool were wonderful. Breakfast was amazing and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely look for Aiden Inns to stay at in the future.

Really liked this hotel a whole lot! Great customer service. The complementary breakfast, water, and coffee was just icing on the cake. And, when I chose the Aiden, I didn't realize it was only a couple of miles from nearly every where we wanted to go, including SOCO South Congress.

Checked in this past Friday and stayed through Sunday afternoon. Check in process was quick and easy, parking is free and plentiful. I was asked if I had a preference on what floor and side of the complex I'd like, thought that was nice. I was given a map of the hotel grounds and nearby area and was instructed on where to park to be closest to the entrance/elevator to our room. Not much else was provided, no information on how they're managing housekeeping, room service, or amenities aside from the pool but I figured I'd call with any questions after I settled in. As we walked in, went up the elevator to the 3rd floor, and down the long hallway to our room, we noticed that the hallways were rather warm and smelled like cigarettes and other things. My daughter even made a comment about the hallway smelling like skunk. After settling in, I got a call from the front desk checking in to make sure I had no needs or questions, my opportunity to ask any questions had come so questions I did ask. The staff on our second day wasn't as attentive, we had a need for additional towels after using the pool and it took a call and a visit to the front desk after waiting longer than 30-45 minutes. They eventually came but definitely not as quickly as I'm accustomed to. Breakfast is free and served until 9:30. Usual fare, eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, cold cereals, fruit, juices, etc. One thing to note, the coffee was absolutely terrible. I'd suggest you brew one of the free K-cups in the room before heading down. If you're leaning towards booking this hotel for the free breakfast, don't. Plenty of taco trucks nearby serving up amazing breakfast tacos at an affordable price. Location is definitely a plus, well geographically at least. $10 Uber/Lyft ride one way to SoCo. On our first night back from dinner, we drove past the Conoco nearby and there were a ton of first responders there. Next morning, checked the local news sites and saw someone had died there the night before. Hotel grounds felt safe but the immediate area surrounding it did seem a bit sketchy at night. Rooms are a bit small as are the bathrooms. Overall had a decent stay but I think I'll be sticking to the bigger hotel chains closer to where all the shops/restaurants are located.

Had a great stay at this location.. rooms were clean and comfortable.. staff was super friendly. Breakfast was great also.. love the Keurig in every room. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying again :-)

My entire experience was awesome! Fast check-in easy check out! A lot of amenities! The room was fantastic & being a creative the décor was the BOMB!!! Can we say the bed was heaven!!! Like I really wanted the Chair & lamp out of my room! The location was perfect to where I needed to be, the Bar & Grill that is attached was totally awesome! It's also close to some wonderful restaurants! I will definitely be back!

Rooms are very small. Pool was very cloudy, the towels were out and it Is smaller than it looks in the pictures. Room was generally clean but hotel is showing it's age. The price was ok and would probably be best for just a couple not families or multiple people sharing a room.

For the price I expect to be able to take a hot shower. The response from front desk was they were at capacity. I have stayed at less expensive hotels and haven't had to leave without a shower. They offered a late checkout until 1:00. He said he would give it to us at no charge, lol. Didn't help, water was still cold. This hotel is close to my son's apartment so it is convenient but I think I will look for a different one for the next visit.

Outstanding customer service through out the hotel, the front desk people also the breakfast serves where prompt and friendly. We will recommend to family and friends. We plan more trips to Austin and plan to stay here.

I recently relocated to Houston from west Texas. I stopped by Austin for a couple nights and booked a room since I had a few days before my move-in date. Some how, I lost something extremely valuable and important for my work and livelihood. I thought I was finished. This would've ultimately costed me upwards in the high six figures. I was absolutely distraught, after looking everywhere, retracing every step in Austin... I accepted that I dropped the ball and it's going to cost me big time. I've never felt felt so hopeless. I asked the front desk staff if anyone found and returned any lost items matching mine, they were sad to tell me no... it was over for me. The next day, right as I was about to check out and head to Houston... I received a phone call from the front desk informing me that one of the staff members, Scottie, found it and I can come pick it up anytime. Scottie found it, returned it, and I love him for it. I couldn't be more grateful for this man. He saved everything I had spent years working on. I can't wait to get back to Austin and when I do I will be booking another week at this location. On top of that, everything about the hospitality, the staff, and how accommodating they are was 5 out of 5 for me. The room was perfect, they're puppy friendly, and overall, wonderful people in my opinion. I'll be back again for sure. Thanks Scottie!

Great location, right off 35 and 1 mile from SOCO. The drive to Congress is through a nice area with cute bungalows, very safe area, short drive to the Congress bridge to see the bats, you can park at the park area right before the bridge. Good pizza at Home Slice on Congress, eat at the shaded patio in the back with free parking at the church next door to it. Loved the pool area, lots of shade and cute vibe, like a nice apartment complex. The halls smelled a little weird but the rooms were very clean, very comfortable beds and pillows and good customer service. Ask for a room on the 3rd floor away from the highway as the noise can be loud. Due to covid, you marked on a sheet what you want for breakfast and take it down to the restaurant. The waffle was better than what I had at a 4 star hotel earlier in my trip, everything else is basic continental.

The hotel was really cute, a typical Best Western but with trendier decor. The beds were very small but very comfortable. The breakfast was the best part. They actually served a warm breakfast with choices such as bacon, sausage, waffles, eggs, and a few different cereals. There was also a coffee machine in the lobby which we discovered had an amazing mocha coffee.

The hotel was well-appointed and very nice for the budget range, but a fight broke out just outside my room. The staff told me that people get drunk and belligerent Friday nights - but like this?! The Fairmont was the same price for the night ($250) and far safer.

While on the freeway, this hotel just a couple of blocks from Big Stacy park and lovely walking trails. An easy walk to South Congress. Great fun Austin centric decor. Quiet. And, guess who all the Texas musicians are depicted on the wall paper.

Very disappointed of this hotel. It is rated as a 4 stars hotel, and I do not understand how. I would not give it not even 4 stars. This first room we got we had to change because as soon as we opened the door it smell terribly, cigar. Even thought at the reception, the rude lady who helped me was clear about the not smoking policy on the hotel. The rooms are dated, the beds are very uncomfortable, The housekeeping ladies were very nice and polite, but the reception people were horrible. I came with my family and I really regret it. For what I paid I would had stay in nice really 4 stars hotel.

Great value for the price. Got what I needed and the place was very clean. Close enough to pretty much anything that I would want to see in Austin. Service was great and would definitively recommend this place.

The trip was good and the Aiden was a good place to stay, a little further from downtown than expected but easy to get off and on the highways. The breakfast was just lackluster though. The staff was very helpful and nice.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is excellent! Very inviting atmosphere, almost like a friendly apartment community. The only suggestion I'd make would be to put an ice machine on the 3rd floor to eliminate unnecessary walking.

I enjoyed this place so much! Friendly staff, clean rooms and a restaurant/bar connected to the hotel! The location was so convenient as well. I loved the style and decor, those lamps are amazing!This was a getaway alone for me so I appreciated that no one bothered me. I received a call once from housekeeping if I needed anything. The housekeeper was very nice and gave me towels and threw my trash even though I forgot to leave it outside before 10a. Thank you Aiden by Best Western, you guys rock!

I made a reservation at a nearby hotel and upon checking in, I quickly noticed the pictures as advertised was not what I saw in real life. I needed help fast! I made one simple phone call to Aiden by Best Western and Jose answered and delivered the BEST solution. Needless to say, I was there within five minutes checked in under 10 minutes and relaxing in my room a few minutes later. The nightmare was over and I was safe and sound and ready for a good nights rest!

Receptionist are very welcoming! Nice rooms ! Good wifi and breakfast. Everything is close by! I had left my watch at the hotel and they were able to send it to me via FedEx as long as I provided the label! Greatest experience ever !!! Love this place will come back thank you!

Everything is excellent! I am a travel agent so I am going to give this hotel a RAVE review! I am so impressed with the services, friendliness and cleanliness ya'll provide. Especially during COVID time. Thank you! I brought my dog and the hotel is very accommodating so that is a major plus! I give a shout to Ambassador Guest service/Front desk CHRIS who went above and beyond for me. I had to come for a family situation and the whole staff has been so understanding! Love the tiny touches of music theme! I will definitely be back to this hotel in the future travels. What you see on their website is exactly what you get! Love it!

Stayed here with my family as a get away. Hotel was amazing and very clean. Staff were very helpful as well. Great location with tons of eateries close by on south Congress. We had Guerros Tacos the first night - can't go wrong with Guerros! Hotel had a great breakfast with social distancing rules and safety practices in place.

The main reason I stayed at this hotel was because it was the closest location to downtown Austin with free parking. The hotel is super clean. It was a neat stay. We always felt safe The staff was super friendly and helpful. Now, with that said... we stayed one night. We were checking out early that morning to make a reservation at 8 am. When I turned on the shower, we had NO HOT WATER! We called the front office, and it looked like they had gotten a maintenance guy there. They attempted to resolve the issue that morning, and the water began to warm up a little before 6am, but my wife had already taken a cold shower. This is the only thing that keeps this place from a 5/5 review. Management had reached out and even refunded part of my stay. I hate the circumstance, and it did cause us to be slightly late, but I am happy that they tried their best on their end to make us happy customers. I just hope this doesn't happen to anyone in the future. Thank you for great customer service!!! I just wasn't real happy with Austin as a city. There are some cool places, but it just doesn't jive well with me. I would stay here again if the opportunity ever came up, but I doubt I'll stay the night in Austin..... The great tent migration, or whatever it is that's going on in the city is a pretty big deterrent for me.

Lovely hotel, eclectic, the garden area where the pool and hot tub are is a relaxing garden. Opal Divines attached to the hotel has great food and service, no need to even leave the premises if you don't want to. Very enjoyable stay.

The ladies working in the restaurant for the morning breakfast rush deserve bonuses! They have to do everything for us to prepare our food due to covid and they did it quickly and pleasantly while so many of us waited in line. Thank them from us please!

Aiden is a perfect spot to call home whether a family vacation or business trip. On the edge of South Congress, it is blocks away from local shops and restaurants. The team is welcoming and the rooms unique and spacious, especially the suites! With complimentary Texas shaped waffles or biscuits and gravy, it is a true deal. And on a bike you can get to the Capital, museums and live music in minutes. They didn't miss a beat during the snow storm, and we can't wait to return!

“The owner of this Best Western is an extremely kind hearted person.” I never met her (or him) but this quote came from one of their employees who said they worked there specifically because of the owner. Our house was without power or water for 4 days in 20 degree weather and they took us in right at the beginning of this statewide emergency. They never raised their rates when they legally could've charged us SXSW rates. They even bumped us up to a suite when we had to extend our stay and didn't charge us extra. It was all about keeping us warm and safe. I've never seen such a kind hearted staff. They really helped us through a tough situation and I can't thank them enough! We couldn't use the pool or hot tub because of the ice everywhere but it looked very enticing and we will be back for a proper staycation once things warm up to normal Texas temperatures!

Had to abandon our house during the great "Snowmageddon" in Austin because had no power or water. Found the nearby Aiden who had power & put us up. The staff has been incredible & kind which we sorely needed during this very trying time. Highly recommend them & the hotel!

Heat-warming service - the employees care about your experience here! They provide a lot of information when we were stuck at Austin due to winter storm. They're super welcoming and super nice! Super clean - everything about the room was perfect; rooms are really well decorated and even soaps and shampoos are better than some of the 5 stars I stayed at. The location is really good - easy access to the highway and airport. Really reasonably priced - the front desk was going to let me get the cheap price upon stay extension vs. all the other hotels almost doubled their price due to popularity caused by winter storm. Literally so far the best hotel I've ever stayed at!

the location of the Aiden is perfect. its so easy to get really anywhere from where its perched on top of 35 and Oltorff. The back lot exits directly onto Live Oak and that gets you right into the thick of Austin itself. One minor drawback that i had was the confusion that google maps had with actually guiding me to the right location. Be sure to pay close attention to the zipcode that is showing. I wound up in a shopping center several miles north that listed a brazilian restaurant as The Aiden. Once I finally sorted that mess out, i found the front desk staff to be very helpful and understanding. During the 3 nights i stayed at the Aiden, i noticed there were a few minor gripes- one being that the vending machines dont actually accept debit or credit cards and the ATM charges a ridiculous $3.75 fee to withdraw cash should you want a late night snack or drink. One other minor complaint was overall noise level. Maybe it was just my luck but it sounded like the floor above me was a bowling alley and the room two doors down was blasting some truly awful Beyonce dance remixes. The front desk was really understanding and apologized for that noise level. They immediately moved me to a quieter room closer to the front desk. For the price, the Aiden delivers on its promises- it is conveniently located, it is pristinely clean, and the front desk is prompt and friendly. The Aiden also delivers on providing a varied and filling breakfast menu that you can either take back to your room or dine in. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows, not so much. they supply three very small pillows so be prepared to bring your own. The bathroom appointments were above average and smelled citrusy but not too fruity. I actually want to buy some for use at home. The bathroom towels were about average. More on the scratchy side than the plush side. If youre a stickler about that, bring your own. there is an on site laundry but i found a laundromat very close by with fast high capacity machines for about the same price. I found my stay at the Aiden to be better than average but just so. im feeling the pandemic really butchered the amenities that would make the Aiden an excellent stay. The restaurant that got such amazing reviews online was only open for what seemed to be about 3 hours a day. The common areas were vacant because of social distancing so the appeal of a laid back, friendly social atmosphere was non existent. I feel like the Aiden would be awesome in the summer but not really worth the money since social distancing precautions / overall noise level make everything else seem just average at best. The staff was really nice though- that alone bumps my review up one more level.

When I was looking for a place to stay in Austin surprisingly Best Western Plus got good reviews. Who knew? The location is not far from SoCo and a short under 10-minute drive to Downtown Austin. The staff was great and there is plenty of parking throughout the hotel. There is a pool and gym, both of which I did not visit. I didn't know this until checking in, but there is free breakfast in the restaurant everyday from 6:30-9:30am. A plus! You have to have the waffles because the waffle maker is in the shape of Texas. The room was clean and comes equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. Perfect because Whataburger is across the freeway. The bathroom was clean and it comes with the basic toiletries in a hotel. However, one VERY annoying thing about the location was the one way streets that surrounded the hotel. It took a while to figure it out. Even going to/from the gas station across the street took a few tries around the block. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Nice beautiful hotel with a great staff....Very nice clean room....The other guest staying were very noisy and slamming doors almost all night....Didn't get to sleep till well after 2am...But that was just rude guest...

This place is a great value for the price! It was so clean and smelled clean. The free breakfast is frozen biscuits and hashbrowns and such but it was expected due to COVID. There is a coffee machine in the lobby that has a great selection. We had several cups every day! Hotel staff is amazing! I wish there were more Aiden hotels around the US!

I stayed here for a few days while moving one of my kids close to this hotel. But the hotel is in a great area, a few miles from Lady Bird Lake, right off Rte 35, and about a mile from Congress Street. Room was clean and roomy and loved the music theme. Wifi was super fast if you need to work there. They seemed like they were taking the right types of precautions during Covid, like ordering breakfast that you could take out.

Of my weeklong trip, this was the best place I stayed at. It wasn't perfect, but I would definitely stay here again. The theme was fun, the place was clean, and the location wasn't bad. The check-in process took forever, and it had . . . um . . . been a long drive in since the last stop. Really, though, it was really inexpensive for the location, and I'd stay here again anytime. Specific Details: Comparison to others in chain: My first stay here, so unknown - similar to Best Western Plus Internet: 116/49 - excellent Breakfast: N/A, didn't have Room: Old hotel that has been very nicely remodeled. This causes small elevators, and an odd layout of the building, but who cares? Cleanliness: Above average Bed: Average Bedding: Above average Shower: A little hard to control, average pressure Water: Hard, but workable Location: Decent - on freeway, but close to downtown Noise: Road noise. Some hotel noise. Guessing it would be louder if the hotel was busier. Staff: Talkative Cost/Value: Good/inexpensive

My family loved this music themed hotel. Breakfast was nice even during this pandemic. It was really wonderful and also had hand sanitizer located throughout the hotel very convenient. Will be staying here again next trip.

We overnighted here one night on a trip to see a few state parks we have not been to. The room rate was reasonable. And the location is actually great for some of the areas nice restaurants and coffee bars. And the churro truck. We were warmly greeted a check in, which was a very quick and easy process. We were given a breakfast menu and told to complete it and they would bring food to us in the restaurant. We had all the intentions of doing that, however, in the morning we decided to sleep in and did not get to partake of that. Parking is free. The beds are very comfortable. The AC has the option to run the fan continuously, a feature I really like to keep the air circulating and provide white noise. What I found frustrating was that for a king size bed with two people they provided three pillows. That's just wholly inadequate. Also in adequate were the number of towels that they provided. We basically had two large towels for two people. It's a basic premise that a hotel should expect that a woman is going to have a towel for her body and one for her hair. If there are two people you're gonna need more than two towels. We swung by the front desk on the way back from dinner and they quickly brought a pillow to our bedroom and some extra towels. I'm glad they remedied it quickly, but this is seriously something that they should fix before customers get there. Other than that minor inconvenience, the room was clean and quiet. I'd have no problem staying here again.

Best Western Aiden was very clean. Employees were welcoming and professional. Without asking I was offered some help with luggage. Comfortable beds. I highly recommend this hotel in Austin Texas. I will return soon.

Literally the only hotel I've stayed in since Covid that has offered more than a muffin, bottle of water, and an apple/banana for breakfast in a brown bag. They gave me a menu checklist that you order off of, turn it in when you arrive at breakfast, and they bag it up to take with you. Good hot breakfast on the go! Very much appreciated surprise. Excellent customer service as well

From making the reservations to check out was very stress free and the staff was more than helpful. Due to the COVID pandemic, some of their polices/procedures had changed but this did not affect my stay in any way. I would recommend this hotel if staying in the Austin area!

We are a couple on a budget so when we went to visit Austin we were looking for a cheap room, but good location and good quality . best western is in a good location , not the best, but the other ones closer to downtown were much more expensive. Their check in and check out are super easy processes. Free parking and breakfast ! The breakfast is available but very limited . You have to call if you need the cleaning service . A lot of the rooms lead outside instead of being inside the building , which wasn't my favorite but it was doable . Overall I would recommend ! The value for what we paid for definitely matched up :)

The whole experience at The Aiden by Best Western just south of the river on IH 35 was wonderful from start to finish...even during this pandemic. Don't fail to have the hotel experience of a lifetime...every time you visit there.

We reserved a king room for three nights but left after one night. Our reservation was rather last minute and we needed a hotel that allowed small pets. The staff was very nice and the room seemed clean, but don't reserve on the first floor facing the pool. The motels walls are not thick and noises from above us and outside kept us awake. This motel also had a lot of smokers and the outside area was not kept clean from cigarettes and animal waste. There was also a random broken room chair in the parking lot. They might have just been very busy and unable to clean the outside grounds. Again, the staff was very nice and I hope they can get the outside grounds maintained in the motel.

After the mandatory hurricane evacuation was ordered in Galveston, I quickly began looking for pet friendly hotels and found the Aiden. The hotel is charming and VERY clean, with a cute pool in the middle courtyard of the building. The decor is modern and the whole space feels new. The front desk staff were incredibly nice and patient- especially as they were managing all of the evacuees. My boyfriend and I agreed that we would stay at this hotel again any time we were visiting Austin.

Coming off of 14 days straight work 9 of which I was 'on call' I needed some escape to recharge. I don't live far away but everywhere in the United States feels unsafe now. The staff are putting in work to make everything as clean and safe as possible. Expectations are clearly stated and signs are posted. Mask up and keep distance everywhere but in your room, yes the hallway too. They were not crowded but that is part of the reason we came. Further nod to management that they are taking advantage of the dip in bookings to plan for the future. Painting is being done, new furniture is being placed in rooms, and the staff was courteous enough to ask permission before beginning any maintenance work that could be overheard in the room. We will be back again wether before or after we are safe to travel at large remains to be seen.

Enjoyed the room, the beds were very comfortable. The pool was really nice & management was keeping control of the amount of people allowed there. Due to Covid we were not able to enjoy the restaurant next door. But the bar was open in the evening.

This hotel is truly making the most out of a very difficult global pandemic. The are friendly, fun, helpful, and energetic. They have even found a way to safely continue serving a delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice checking in, easy to get to. It was very comfortable for the time that I was there. Cassius was super friendly and I would absolutely love to come back if I am ever in the area again. Checking in was super easy even without a reservation.

The rooms have a nice look, but rather small. Breakfast was horrible. Bathroom was hot and small and room door interfered with bathroom door. Double beds in room super small, maybe good for two small children. The pool and hot tub is super nice with hammock outside and nice sitting area. The hotel had a bar which closed early but seemed okay. The staff were rather rude. Vending don't work half the time. The cleaning ladies are nice. Overall I would Come back for the pool If I could Use it longer, but wouldn't waste the money for small room.

I made a quick semi-emergency trip (due to Coronavirus) to help my daughter move out of Austin. We stayed here one night. It was like a ghost town due to the virus. It was sad as it was supposed to be jam-packed with SXSW goers. The place is right off the interstate in a safe and convenient location. The rooms are clean and uniquely decorated. The landscaping was nice. When things settle down and you plan a trip to Austin, this place is highly recommended!

The location was good, food in restaurant was great, rooms were good. Overall good hotel. I will come back here again for another girls trip I am sure. They usually have live music in the restaurant as well which was a plus.

My experience at the Best Western was a good one. The only thing that I noticed was door of room did not line up completely with door frame, though it locked properly, there was a draft coming in at the bottom. Not sure I liked the darkness of room decor but it felt clean and the staff was very helpful.

Thoroughly enjoyed my trip. Location of the place is close enough to Uber and far enough from feeling crowded. Good restaurant and band. Felt safe, no issues with the room and it was overall, good quality for the cost.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the best kept secret in Austin. The Aiden never disappoints! The staff is super professional yet laid back. It's like "we've got you"! The rooms are decorated so funky & cool, and they are CLEAN!! Everyone smiles & says hi. The hotel is so easy to check in/out and has the neat Opal Divine's next door. The price is also wonderful for such a neat boutique hotel. We love it every single time! Planning to book it again soon. I promise, you will love it! Julie

We enjoyed the stay. The property is really well taken care. It just look a little dark during the night by the parking lot. They have a station for you to charge your tesla, and that was a plus. The breakfast has a great variety

Cute little hotel. Great staff and service. Awesome free breakfast! My only complaint was the noise level staying in the back on the 1st floor. People were coming and going at all hours of the night making lots of noise.

I attended a week long conference in Austin and chose to stay here. I am glad I did. It is 5 minutes from downtown; very clean; wonderful restaurant/bar; beautiful decor; comfortable beds; quiet rooms; wonderful pool area. Highly recommend.

Check-in was fast and staff was friendly. The layout of the hotel was so unique. I loved the decor and the bed was so comfortable. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again next time I am in town.

We visit Austin regularly to visit our son and try to stay at moderately priced hotels that are convenient to Austin's popular areas. Aiden by BW is w/o a doubt the hotel we will stay in on our future visits. It's cleanliness, convenience and unique Austin ‘vibe' are all we look for. We had a great stay.

We enjoyed our second visit as well as our first. This property is one of Austin City's best kept secrets, and I'm serious! My only fear is that it will be sold out when we travel to Austin! The staff matches the five star rating in personable interaction and professionalism.

I travel to Austin often for work. It's so challenging to find accommodations close to downtown that are both great and also affordable. I love this best western and will definitely be back. The staff were so friendly, the rooms were clean and very “Austin” and the location was great!

I had a great stay here and having a restaurant on site was nice. If your in the area I would recommend check this place out. It's close to downtown without paying downtown prices. I would stay here again the next time I'm in town.

The location was super convenient to easily get to downtown or South Congress. The room was clean and comfortable. A bit of road noise but that's to be expected if you are facing I35. The breakfast had lots of options and the staff were all super friendly. Overall a pleasant experience.

A unique Best Western property with Austin style. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms decorated with a unique Austin touch, good restaurant and great location-just a few blocks from the restaurants, cafes, and bars on Congress Ave. Reasonable rates....also easy access to Austin Airport.

What makes this boutique brand Best Western more special is the attached restaurant, Opal Divine's. The great breakfast is served in the restaurant. Be sure to check out the online directory to get the names of the music icons on the wallpaper.

My husband and two step children just stayed here for a few days. The hotel is in close proximity to downtown Austin which is a plus. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was included in the stay and included scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, a waffle station, pastries and a juice machine. The attached restaurant also had live music on the weekend which we enjoyed. The lobby was nicely decorated and had a foos ball table and a hot beverage machine that made cappuccino, latte's, and hot chocolate. The pool areas was very nicely landscaped and well kept. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub one evening which is located outdoors along with the pool. The rooms are fun and quirky with wallpaper that has faces of famous musicians on it.

I stayed for 5 nights with my adult son. We found the room comfortable and cosy, location and free parking convenient, staff friendly and helpful, gym and pool nice amenities, great bar / restaurant and breakfasts. Really our only gripe - and it's a big one - was the amount of single use plastic, for example all the cutlery at breakfast. The hotel could definitely do more to recycle / be environmentally aware. Generally though, a great find and good value.

Stayed here 4 nights on a business trip. Didn't spend much time at the hotel but the time I was there the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The Hot breakfast was a huge plus and played a part in my decision to stay here. The computers in the lobby came in handy printing work documents. Overall my stay here was enjoyable.

I am generally a hard to please guest. Superb experience from desk staff check in to check out. The breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. Each housekeeping staff we encountered was friendly.

I booked a room using Hotels.com. There was confusion with the date. Hotels.com canceled that reservation and I made another with them. When I arrived at the hotel, the 2nd reservation had not been sent to the hotel even though I had a confirmation email. Beverly was very attentive. When she realized it was going to take some time to work it out, she got me in a room and told me she would let me know as soon as it was resolved. She even gave me an upgrade to apologize for the inconvenience. All of the front desk staff was very helpful but Beverly went above and beyond. I will be back.

I booked the hotel for 5 days. The location is right off HWY I-35, by Oltorf. It's convenient to an HEB grocery store, as well as, South Congress, which has all kinds of great places to see and eat. The free breakfast had a nice selection rotating with scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit, breakfast tacos, bacon, biscuits and gravy, muffins, cereal and oatmeal. A small gym and nice pool. Front desk personnel, as well as, housekeeping were all very nice and friendly. room was very clean and spacious with a microwave and fridge. The toiletries (shampoos, soap ect.) were lovely. If I had any issue (and it's strictly preference) is the height of the beds. I would prefer for the beds to be shorter and not quite so tall. I am an average height woman at 5'5", and the beds are very tall. The top of the mattress hit me almost at my iliac crest (top of hip bone). I literally had to crawl up on the bed on all 4's (haha!) and I could not sit on it to put on my shoes. Fortunately a nice chair is provided so I just used that. Other than that, the visit was great and zero complaints. I will stay there again on future trips.

Great location and really comfy rooms. The fact that the breakfast buffet was served at an actual restaurant and not at a cramped seating area is a big plus. Staff is really friendly and goes the extra mile to help you enjoy your stay not only at the hotel but in the city. Short drive to downtown and main atractions. Definitely come back.

Newly remodeled. Funky decor with lots of character. Slept with willie and Waylon . Unfortunately bed was as hard as a rock. Breakfast was the typical BW stuff but they did have almond milk and lactose free milk.

I think the hotel itself was a great deal. The bed was comfortable and the hotel allowed us to check in early, which was very nice. The breakfast was also tasty. The only issues was noise from the room above us. Every time anyone moved, there was a very loud creaking sound, like something was loose in the floor above us, and unfortunately whomever was above us got up at 5 am. This made sleeping very difficult. I assume we just got the short end of the stick and this isn't true for all the rooms, but just a heads up, don't stay in room 232.

This hotel is in a good central location, with good access to highways. The staff is always helpful. The rooms are clean, and you do not hear highway traffic. Great coffee machine in the lobby. The parking is free.

Hotel was clean and convenient. Is right on I-35 Frontage Rd, and at times the road noise was loud, but wasn't really a problem. Was easy to get to Downtown, the airport, or anywhere else. Breakfast was excellent.

Awesome hotel that is very close to trendy S. Congress area and downtown. A great value and leaps and bounds above the budget hotels nearby. Dining in walking distance. Convenience store very close. Hotel staff is always very nice.

Very clean rooms, lobby and amenities. Great pool and hot tub. Hot tub actually gets wonderfully hot. Rooms are small but nicely appointed with really cool decor. Polite and helpful staff. Love the coffee machine in the lobby.

Aiden is right off of I-35 and just a few miles from almost anything you would want to do in Austin (downtown, Congress ave, Lady Bird Lake, etc). We did not hear any highway noise at all. The hotel is very nice. The beds are comfy and it is very clean. The pool area is lovely and wished we had more time there to use it. The breakfast is excellent. We will be back!

Not your plain old hotel! This one's got character! We could only stay overnight, but we loved the fun vibe here! It helped us to mentally shift from our usual every day existence to being able to see that we were here in Austin where wonders await! Also, it's right on the freeway, so it's a breeze getting around! We saw a show at the Bass Concert Hall and went to peruse the interesting collections at Uncommon Objects-both also recommended! Would do it all again in a flash! - And the shampoo smells great!

This hotel and the employees ROCK! Great experience. The hotel is up-beat with great ambiance and the restaurant was off the chain; great live music and for those interested, one of the best selections of whisky I have ever encountered.

I needed a hotel close to St. Edwards University. This is a unique hotel that has been updated. The room was spotless. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast had many options with a great host to keep it fresh and full. The pool area and hot tub were relaxing and inviting. It was a great stay and I felt safe the whole time.

Great convenient Austin location right off I 35. Second time we've chosen Aiden for lodging when visiting Austin & attending events at St Edward's University. Staff is friendly & helpful. Has a unique fun vibe with restaurant/bar on site. Great breakfast choices.

The rooms were very clean. The service was friendly. Complimentary breakfast had lots to offer. Tortillas, eggs, beans, bacon, pico de gallo, cereal, potatoes, coffee. Location is only a few miles away from downtown.

I stayed 2 nights and it was terrific! The hotel is so cute and be sure to check out the adjoining restaurant. Located on I-35, its a 10 minute ride share to 6th St, etc. The hospitality is great here (as it is everywhere in Texas). I have already recommended this to other family members and will definitely stay here next time I visit Austin.

Hotel nice location close to downtown. Right across the lake lady Bird Lake. Breakfast good had a lot to choose from. Room with a view of pool nice. Bed comfortable. Parking a real plus. Safe easy off on to Hwy 35. Ate at restaurant. Hamburger ok. Next to 7/11 and gas station.

Very close to our daughters house in Travis Heights. Also about a 15 minute drive to the airport. The pool area looked awesome, though to cool to swim during our visit. Breakfast was top notch and varied daily and the coffee was Nescafe on demand, 3 different roasts. We will stay here again in the future for sure!

Stayed here for 5 nights attending a wedding and travelled with my wife and two kids, and it was a great experience. Comfortable rooms and both breakfast, lunch and dinner options were great, especially with kids and the need to eat early both morning and evening. Friendly staff and very convenient location

The AC would tune off often causing it to warm up. This best western has been nicely remodeled. It definitely has a lot of charm. Check In was easy. We were able to get two rooms next to each other. The room: comfortable and clean. Spacious. My room had a fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. The toiletries provided included bar soap, shampoo, conditioner. The plugs in the room were too far from the bed and the plug that was by the bed was smack in the middle of the mattress, so you couldn't really plug anything in. They did have some USB charging ports on the desk next to the TV. At night, it got warm in the room. We got up several times to make it cooler in the room, but eventually we gave up. The extras: The breakfast buffet was pretty good. They had the typical continental breakfast items and then some. They offered tortillas with the hot meal of eggs, vegetarian refried beans and bacon. They had yogurts, fruit, pastries, waffles and pancakes. Throughout the day, you can get coffee, hot cocoa and apples at the lobby. In the room they have a keurig with coffee and tea pods available.

Loved having a bar where you could get sandwiches, etc. And near a very popular restaurant. Compared to the other Best Westerns I stayed in over 2+ weeks, it was excellent. The further east I went the rooms and equipment available got less and less. Thank you!

Staff was welcoming, hotel was clean, room was overlooking the pool and the beds were super comfy! Only ate breakfast one day but there were plenty of options and it was hot! Hotel is right off the freeway and perfect for getting downtown. Wouldn't stay any where else when I get back to Austin!

I often stay here for work and have always had a great experience! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The pool, hot tub and exercise room are always clean and the restaurant attached has great happy hour drinks and delicious food!

My friend and I stayed here whilst visiting Austin for the F1. We had looked at hotels downtown however the cost was ridiculous for these and this was the best we could find in our budget and to be honest we did not regret our choice. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was spacious with 2 large beds and had a fridge, coffee maker and large TV and ample sized bathroom. The temperature in Austin did plummet whilst there...a quick word with the hotel staff and extra blankets provided within minutes - what a bonus! The breakfast was good with a good selection buffet style and through out the day you can make use of the free hot drinks machine and cold water provided in the communal lounge area by the lobby. The hotel does provide a laundry service however what is a bonus is there is a washing machine and dryer for guests to use themselves - washer was $1.75 and dryer only $1.50 so not ridiculous priced and the hotel does provide washing powder for a small cost however as I knew the laundry was there I had taken my own so can't comment on the cost - as Austin was only a small part of a longer trip the provision of these facilities was a bonus. This hotel is a bit of a way from downtown however we just utilised the UBER network which worked a treat - it cost about $8-12 to get downtown and we just worked it that once down town we stayed there so only needed 1 return trip a day - even with this extra UBER cost the hotel still worked out a lot cheaper than if we had booked downtown. FYI - The cost to the airport was also approx $15-$20. It is also handy that their is a seven11 just behind the hotel for those essential snacks. The hotel does have a bar, restaurant and pool however none of these were used by myself so can't comment.

The room was nice, clean, I'm not a fan of the brown decor but given how expensive Austin hotels can be I was glad to find it. Window opened a bit which was nice, hotel air can be stale or worse heavy with air freshener. I was able to arrange late checkout for $20 which was great.

Great hotel in a prime local action. The breakfast buffet was way beyond expectations and the Texas shaped waffles were to die for. Rooms were spacious and clean WiFi was good and strong. Check in and out was a breeze. It was also nice that they had cold water available in the lobby at all times.

Stayed three nights in room 226 which is at the back of the hotel. No problem with traffic noise from the busy Interstate alongside. Our room was quite large, with a very large bed, good tv and refrigerator and microwave. Shower worked very well. As many have said the breakfast is good with a wide range of cereals, fresh fruit salad, and usually 3 hot dishes. Toaster to make your own toast and a coffee machine. All of the staff we encountered were very helpful. We parked our car and took Ubers into town. It was the first time we have used Uber and it was spookily efficient. Never waited once for more than about 2 minutes! Journeys into town usually cost between 8-12 dollars but no problem parking or driving.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was clean. The provided breakfast was one of the best that I've had and the staff was just as friendly/helpful as the front desk staff. A very pleasant, unexpected surprise was that this hotel accommodates ALL guests, not just specific ones like most hotels (ie smoking / non-smoking).

This hotel is very close to Congress St. it is a very happening area of Austin lots of fun around there. We found a nice spot for pizza and a lot going on too. The hotel has been refreshed, but it is still dated. We had a nice 2 day stay, Rooms are small though.

Went to Austin for the first time with my girlfriend. The highlight of the trip was watching my Texas Longhorns, but Aiden by Best Western made the stay very comforting. Breakfast was awesome, the staff was awesome, location was awesome, and the room service was awesome.

Great location - very convenient to the interstate, South Congress and downtown. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and had what we needed. The rooms and property were clean and well-cared for. The pool and spa areas were awesome. We loved every minute of our stay!

Pros: Good location a short drive from downtown Austin (about 10 minutes). Buffet breakfast included with plenty of options for everyone. Friendly staff. Cons: The hallways smelled odd. The room was musky and stuffy every time we came back even though we visited in late October and it wasn't that hot. Our room had an outside entrance that required additional stairs to get to even if you took the elevator.

Had 2 nights here, recently while attending the F1 race in Austin. This hotel was super. Nice rooms, great beds. Quite. Nice bath and toiletries and linens. Easy access from freeway, and easy to get down town, as well as to the race track. Great breakfast. Friendly helpful cheerful employees at every turn. Hope to be back next year. Thank you.

The rooms were lovely, the hotel was adorable. We really enjoyed our little staycation in Austin. We enjoyed the connected restaraunt, and the famous faces wallpaper in our room was a huge hit. My husband and I will certainly be staying at the AIden next time we are in downtown Austin.

Wonderful room, great breakfast, Foosball table (what a nice bonus!), all set in a very music-appointed atmosphere. Excellent! If you are a first-timer to Austin, unless you wish to be right in the heart of downtown, this place is for you!

If you're driving a car, this is a great location and value. Proximate to I-35 and South Congress. Nice amenities in the hotel bar/restaurant. Only complaint is that, due to size of hotel and layout, getting around is sometimes confusing. Be sure to use the map that is provided.

Check-in was easily, friendly staff, explained the gym and breakfast hours, and free apples & water. Room access easy & safe area to park our vehicle. Breakfast was yummy except tortillas were a little hard. Will recommend hotel to friends & family. Price was right.

The room has all you need for a work trip (good lighting, good desk space, convenient to both airport and downtown). The pool area is at the center and rooms that overlook have a nice view - the space is very green and has a nice variety of seating arrangements. The bed is comfortable- the bathroom is clean and updated, a typical size for midrange cost hotels like this. The hallways seem secure (key card access). The restaurant is a highlight, good menu and bar options. Friendly staff all around.

Strong musty/mildewy smell in hallway and in room when air conditioning/heating unit was on. Just cannot plan to stay at this property again. Location is good. Opal Devine's Restaurant inside building is a plus.

Stayed here for a family wedding. The bridal couple selected this hotel and apartments in their complex for guests to stay. We chose hotel to have the extra amenities. The location was great for us getting in and out of Austin and was very close to event venues. We were able to use Uber to get to and from events very easily. The hotel was very accommodating for the 5 rooms that we were in. Wish we could have spent time by the pool area as it was very nice and had a great deck too. Overall, I would say the hotel met all of our needs.

I'd definitely stay there again. I loved how helpful the staff was, the room was nice the bed was so comfortable, a nice pool, breakfasts, water to go. An expresso machine, complimentary. The price was right and take an uber to town or wherever wasn't that big of a deal. Great value and I'd definitely recommend again.

"This ain't at your typical Best Western anymore." Wow the Aiden brand is sweet. Probably the nicest Best Western I've ever experienced. I tend to not stay at the big chain hotels, but this was very boutique for a Best Western. Themed well with Austin decor and REALLY nice landscape, I honeslty felt like I was in a California hotel. The room was perfect and the pool area was amazing. Pool was nestled in a well groomed courtyard area, creatively lighted at night. Large hot tub with hammock under cool deck lighting. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway, and well priced for the Austin scene.

The staff was extremely friendly and very fast at the front desk. Very inviting and my wife and I both loved the layout of the hotel and room. It was another great stay with one of Best Western hotels.

Very clean and enjoyable place to stay. Stayed for ACL and the drive was quick from downtown to location. The design and elegance of this hotel is ubiquu to Austin and it's historic music scene. There is no other hotel in Austin that compares to the quality of Aiden @ Austin City.

This was our first time staying in an Aiden by Best Western. We chose this place because downtown was cost prohibitive, The room was clean, spacious and comfortable as was the bathroom, Bed super-comfortable. A huge buffet breakfast with loads of choices came with our room. Everything was freshly made, not microwaved. The staff were friendly and helpful. We used uber to go in and return from the city center and iot was a lot cheaper than if we had rented a car. There was no interstate noise which had been a concern of ours. We had a fabulous four night stay and highly recommend it.

Updated Best Western with a funky character totally in tune with the Austin vibe. Beautiful pool/hot-tub with waterfall, large kiddie pool area and gorgeous, well-maintained landscaping. Immaculate overall with great housekeeping. Very nice full breakfast buffet and independent restaurant/bar available for other meals. Quiet and very convenient location--downtown and airport are easily accessed. Free and plentiful parking. Only complaint is lack of outlet at bedside table for phone charging. Will definitely stay again when in Austin.

I was in Austin to supervise my mother's move from ATX to Houston. Don't normally stay at hotels on an Interstate, but this worked out fine. Rooms are nicely decorated in Austin artsy decor. The entire facility is clean, and our room had a comfortable king size bed. Guest services were prompt and friendly. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming. It included bacon and eggs, pour-your-own-waffles, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal, and pastries. Food quality was just average, or even a bit below. Everything else about the place met expectations. I would recommend if you need to stay in that part of ATX.

I liked this hotel very much! Pass through cross country for work, I found this beautiful place and had to stop by. I was only here for a night and have no complaints. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great stay

Clean and quiet. Expect to cab around but they are plentiful. Close enough to be cheap to get around. Didn't try the onsite restaurant but looked nice...too close to Franklin BBQ for that. I would stay here again, the room was very nice, with a separate bedroom and 2! full bathrooms. Roomy living room as well. The decor is eclectic but lighting is good and shower stall is very big. I will definately stay here again.

The staff, including Chris & many more at the Aiden was what made our stay so great. They were very accommodating. Rooms were basic but nice, close to city & great continental breakfast. Pool was a great bonus!

Great location, just an Uber away from the many restaurants and music hot spots in this town. Loved the decor in and out-we knew we were in Austin, and enjoyed all the benefits of a major chain hotel and none of the blah!

I really enjoyed our stay here. I hope we can come back. The people at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was hot and good. The pool areas is a great environment. hope they get the hottub fixed!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Overall I think it was a "fine" hotel. It is close enough to downtown where you can Uber for less than $10 and the price was reasonable for the stay. The pool and jacuzzi are nice (accessible towels) and are open late - 10 pm. The rooms are spacious and the wallpaper is Instagramable. Convenient Keurig machine, microwave, and good size mini fridge. The beds are not horribly hard. The breakfast buffet is the best part! Make your own Texas shaped waffles! Yeehaw! A few things I was disappointed with: The Elevators - SMALL! They only fit about 2 people with luggage. The Shower - not enough water pressure and no wall shelf for your items. The "Courtyard View" - I paid extra for the view and of course it was blocked by a bunch of trees. Ugh! The "Balcony" - nope, not really a balcony. You can only crack the window about an inch. Useless! Not enough outlets in the room and overheated the charging blocks - seems like the outlets are not regulated. The vending machine - I bought some DayQuil and of course it was expired! Check the date on everything you buy! I will say, that they were flexible with late check out. No fee late check out is at 12:00 (noon) and $10 every hour until 2:00 pm. TOP TIP: Make sure to have your room key at all times. You need it for every other door and it's a little confusing to get around the hotel.

Spent a night here at the weekend ahead of watching UT football. Hotel was busy - so no chance to check in a little early. Check-in fine and public rooms ok. It has a full time restaurant and bar (which we did not use- just bad timing). Our room was at back of hotel (room 314) so quiet. Also noticed that ground floor rooms had doors opening on to car-park - not interior corridor. Room fine - shower hot - bed comfortable and plenty of TV channels inc UT network.

Clean, comfortable rooms, nice amenities and exceedingly helpful and friendly staff. If you are mobility impaired, get a room close to the restaurant for the great free breakfast. The facilities are large and somewhat broken up.

WOW. We were in town for a live music crawl and this place IMMEDIATELY set the tone for the rest for the vacation. Fun, funky cool modern retro vibe with quick access to all the venues, dining and shopping we were looking for. We normally stay in Hilton or Marriott properties, but they all looked a little stuffy and this place just jumped right off the page as what we were looking for. Our room facing the garden courtyard & pool was totally quiet in spite of the hotels proximity to I-35. We enjoyed the pool, onsite Opel Divine's bar and grill and both the food was great and drinks were strong and well priced. The complementary breakfast is about as extensive and fresh as you will get in a chain hotel. We had planned on breakfasts out, but instead ate at the hotel daily due to the fine breakfast offerings. The hotel is very clean, very well staffed and maintained and we constantly saw employees landscaping, doing maintenance and cleaning the common areas. The room and beds were squeaky clean, had a microwave and fridge, coffee maker with CERAMIC MUGS, iron and ironing board. PAYA toiletries and hair drier. Lots of cable TV options, especially if you are a sports fan. The "Waylon & Willie" wallpaper was awesome! What really stood out is the hotels boutique focus towards adult guests who are in Austin for fun to do adult things. I would caution those travelling with children that this is not a hotel oriented towards kids and their needs. This was a MAJOR PLUS for us and the reason we will be back on our next journey to Austin.

From initially driving up to the hotel, checking in at the cool lobby with friendly desk lady, seeing the layout of the hotel, walking into the cool and clean "Austin-y" room, to checking out was very pleased. We were only there from around 11pm to gettting up and leaving the next morning so didn't get a chance to see allot of the hotel or enjoy the neat looking restaurant there but what we saw was 2 thumbs up. I would stay there again for sure! I am a Diamond Select member so have stayed in many other BW's and this was easily one of my favorites.

What a wonderful hotel. It is pure Austintacious. It embodies the spirit and vibe of the live music capital of the world. The rooms are clean and well maintained the front desk staff are truly some of the best in the hotel industry. We will definitely stay here again.

Fix toilet or remove room from service! There should no reason why anyone would have to call the front desk to have them fix a toilet. The response time was good but the issue should have been resolved the very first time. It was a very bad experience and not what we expected

My husband and I loved our stay in this hotel. After having to change our last-minute plans to Florida due to the Hurricane Dorian, Austin (and this hotel in general) was a perfect choice. The hotel itself has a modern feel, but also has everything you'd hope to find in terms of hospitality. We stayed in the king suite; we were very pleasantly surprised by the size of our room. The free breakfast is delicious (so many warm breakfast options, in addition to fresh fruit, cereals, and muffins). The rooms have modern decor and amenities, and are super-clean. The pool and jacuzzi area are so beautiful and relaxing; you absolutely must hit the pool at least once during your stay. Would totally book here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great location right next to the freeway. Nice breakfast buffet and super friendly staff. Little bit of a mildew smell in our room and in the hallway. Had a small patch of mold on the bathroom wall corner.

Stayed here at the Aiden for 1 night Labor Day weekend. was not sure what to expect given that I new this was an older property sough of the river. This turned out to be a great find and we will stay here again. We found this hotel because they allow pets. We have a small dachshund and this worked out great. The hotel has been totally refurbished some time in the near past. It now has a Texas music them to it. The room was very clean and updated, the bed very comfortable. The pool area was large and clean, and again had a nice vibe with different colored lights everywhere and hammocks byt the hot tub. The bar had plenty of tvs and there was a singer on guitar about to start as we were leaving. A definite find and cant wait to stay here again.

I hate to review so good as more people will keep it full! I found this Best Western sho much more than what I remembered BW to be. The staff was amazing, the rooms were excellent and the breakfast was awesome. I will be planning a few girlfriend weekend getaways here in the coming years. ! Already

Very clean and roomy place to stay! I will definitely be staying here again, the room, beds and bathroom were extremely clean. The only downfall was he shower head and the room could not be adjusted and the water in the tub took forever to drain. The advantages are lots of free parking and the free Buffett breakfast. I originally booked on Expedia but upon arriving they gave me the lower price for that day.

breakfast was good ,capociano machine in the lobby was great and the cleaning ladies for room 232 for all 4 days were great with all my wifes demands...room was very clean, all the lamps and in room items worked

My stay was not planned but it ended up being exceptional. The staff were very efficient & friendly. The onsite restaurant was extremely enjoyable with great food and staff also. At the time I was there (6:15 ish) there was not a large crowd. A great menu & beverage options...even gluten free items.

Wonderful service by Chris, Beverly, and Jose. They made our stay so convenient and were very kind to some elderly relatives who were with us. We'll definitely stay at the Aiden when we're in the area.

This Best Western had many amenities to make a comfortable stay. Also a short drive or Uber to the downtown area. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast included with hot food items. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was a great hotel. I had to check in last minute due to a cancellation of a previous hotel (pro tip: don't stay at The Guild hotels). The staff at Aiden was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast buffet had tons of selection. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel/location, friendly staff, excellent stock bar, good breakfast. Pool could have been a bit cleaner but nice. Worst part was due to renovations and repairs, we had hot water only one morning of our 4 nigth stay and one morning the room service came early, we were still in the room, and never came back, so had to call front desk for more towels which we couldn't use anyway due to no hot water

Centrally located around all the cool Austin spots, great breakfast, awesome interior design. Very cool espresso machine in the lobby. The rooms were designed nice and were very comfortable and clean. The restaurant was fine, limited on the menu but a great beer selection. If your looking for a family meal, this is probably not the restaurant for you, however if your looking for a light snack or a social meet up, the bar and grill is perfect. We took an uber out late and returned from our concert hammered... of course I lost my wallet and my girlfriend passed out in the hallway while I frantically raced down to the lobby to get a new key, the staff didnt bother her on the floor and let her get a nice nap in and in the morning they had my wallet waiting for me at the front desk for breakfast. Great people and super appreciated!!

On Vacation with my family expecting a beautiful pool and Jacuzzi, but when we checked in and saw that the pool had a blue/greenish cloudy color to it we wanted to get a refund. And the Jacuzzi didn't even work. My wife was vary disappointed about that and wanted to leave.. but we stayed and still got into the pool with our kids. Kids didn't care about the color of the pool of course and didn't mind the Jacuzzi not working so they had fun. Everything else was fine. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was good, but the biggest thing we were looking forward to wasn't even working. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, it's like we got tricked with the pictures they posted online.. it looked nothing like what we expected. Me and my family will not be staying there ever again.

What a super cute hotel. Nice decor, clean rooms, attentive staff. Breakfast can get crowded but hey, it's free and it's hot! Rooms were nice and we stayed on the first floor so it could be noisy due to landscapers working, but the beds were comfy and A/C was cold! :) My BF and I agree we would stay here again the next time we are in Austin. Short 5 min drive to downtown and quick access to the highway. Perfect for what we needed.

There are several attributes that are faulty in this hotel. One of them was the A/C. It was quite noisy, therefore every time I fell asleep, I would invariably wake up and have difficulty falling asleep again, even though I was very tired and sleepy. Another defective feature was the mattress. It was saggy and whenever I turned, it would groan under my weight. One more issue was the pool. It was very cloudy and semmed unfit for swimming. However, the staff were extremely nice and friendly and the breakfast was much more impressive than other same level hotels.

Everything about this hotel was great - except the pool. The hot tub and the pool were both disgusting. However, everything else seemed cared for. The beds were very comfortable, with mattresses that were in perfect condition. Breakfast was hot and tasty, with many choices to keep our family (with gluten and dairy allergies) happy and fed. I would return but I would not expect to swim or use the hot tub.

The decor was definitely a fun Austin vibe. The price was great and it was still pretty close to downtown. The breakfast was good, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly.

Very clean rooms, and good breakfast , the staff was really friendly, they will help you with things to do and place to visit. They even give us directions to the hotel, so if you want to take a trip with the family, you should check it out .

We enjoyed our stay but had a hard time pushing the wheelchair across the parking lot just to get to the ramp. We then had to traverse back to the lobby area where we originally parked. The mobility access rooms did not have much room to freely move the wheelchair.

Aiden by Best Western was a nice, clean, cute hotel, just south of downtown Austin. The neighborhood is a little rundown, but a few blocks beyond is nice to check out! The people at check in were extremely nice and helpful. The room was clean and nicely decorated with a music theme. The elevators are strange to get to. You have to go "outside" to get on them. It appears that they renovated the hotel and found a way to make the elevators secure within the hotel. So...I appreciate the effort! I would definitely stay here again!

It was right off the highway and close to a lot of great restaurants and diners in Austin. The seven-year-old loved the lobby and we enjoyed the hotel's design. Breakfast was great and the restaurant attached to the hotel was good. Overall a great stay and we look forward to our next stay!

It's a little dated but everyone was very nice. I would say the restaurant needs a little help in that the wait staff was not that good and my burger bun was a bit burned. Breakfast was very good and fresh. Could use some wait staff there

This property is super convenient to everything and is decorated so cool!! It was very quiet at night and I slept very well on he comfortable bed. The pool is awesome and there is a hot/tub/ Hammock area in the shade that made it cool on a HOT day!

My husband and I stayed here in March for our 20th Anniversary. There was plenty of parking. Inside the hotel was clean and updated. The room was spotless and comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The bed and pillows were luscious! Best night's sleep ever. As hotels go, it was quiet, and the outside noise was negligible, especially considering we were right by I-35. My only complaint was when I called back to ask what kind of mattress they had, (this is the only mattress my husband and I have EVER agreed on) I was summarily dismissed with "Who knows, they're all different". I know that's not in the job description but the tone was very dismissive and curt.

The staff was super friendly. We enjoyed the clean spacious rooms and access to the pool, hot tub and gym. The breakfast in the morning was awesome. If you are looking for a great place near congress this is it!

Extension of a business trip allowed me spend extra days @ Hotel Aiden. I require special services and the ENTIRE front of house staff wwntWent out of their way to exceed any expectations I may have had.

I had not stayed in a Best Western-branded hotel in a long time. This was exceptional and I will definitely return. The pool was great. The location convenient. The room immaculate and the restaurant attached made the best margaritas I have ever tasted.

Family of 4; loved the pool, the location (close to all the areas we went), and the breakfast. Staff was excellent. Room was a bit on the smaller side, but clean and well maintained. Overall, good experience

This is a very nice hotel. The location is just right if your staying on the South side of Austin, however there is alot of construction going on in this area that makes it a challenge gitting to the hotel, but the staff and the hotel over all makes up for the construction challenge.

As soon as I walked into the hotel Sunday evening the front desk clerk greeted me and made me feel very welcome. She was very informative and very down to early with not just me but my family. Will definitely come back after this experience

Beware Beware Beware!!! Hotel is noisy next to a busy construction road. Rooms are basic and stink. The staff is incompetent when handling issues and does not seem to care about their guests!!! Such a disappointment!

The hotel is situated ten minutes by Uber (7-10 $) from the city center just next to the highway crossing the city. There are plenty of free parking spots just outside. The hotel is shaped as a “U” with a pool in the middle which is nice. The staff at the hotel is friendly. We got the choice if we wanted a room close to the pool or with a view to the city and choose room close to the pool. We had a room with two double beds which are of good size and clean. Room contains fridge but no microwave, safe or water heater. Breakfast is included in price and for being an American hotel it is good (below average if you are used to European breakfasts). You can have waffles, egg and bacon, fruit, sandwiches, juices etc. there is also a small gym and self laundry. The pool area is nice and calm and you do not hear the high way, a small oasis. All in all we liked the hotel. If you are disturbed by a high way close or wish to live in the city center this might or be for you.

This hotel was very different for a Best Western. The layout is a little weird and you have to go through a few locked doors/gates to access your room, but once in and you get the hang of it it's comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff were nice. The biggest complaint is there is a ton of construction in front of the hotel (not their fault) and part of the parking lot was blocked because of it, making it very difficult to navigate around and park a larger vehicle. The bed is really hard- not my cup of tea but you'll like it if you like firm mattresses.

From the moment you drive up and all through the check-in process, this place is top-notch! Friendly and inviting staff. Well-appointed and modern rooms (love the wallpaper!). Relaxing and beautiful pool area! The restaurant on-site, Opal Divines, has great food and drink! Loved this place both times I've stayed here! Will stay again!

We were given a pool view room that looked out to the central area where the pool was located. We were surprised how quiet our room was especially since it was on the frontage road for I35. The breakfast options were plentiful but were very strict on their closing time. The staff was very friendly. The design of the hotel was interesting going from our room to the lobby and breakfast.

I booked it because they had a hot tub but it was indeed no opened and the front desk acted as if they didnt know, water was green and it had caution tape around it. Then they put me on the 3rd floor and the day I ck in the elevators where not working. The hot breakfast wasn't good at all. The place looks old and under construction. The front dest at ck in just had no smile or even acknowledgement what so ever but Joseph did help out.

The visit was fine. I booked us there because they had breakfast. The people working at the hotel were awesome, especially Larry. He was so nice. Breakfast was great. My only complaint is the room was really small and the bathroom was really, really small. That is all.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the only downside was a lot of construction on the access road, but we quickly found the back way in and had no issues. Free breakfast was terrific, lots of good choices and much better than you find at most places. Accomodations were comfortable, I wish we stayed more than a day and had time for the pool/hot tub because they looked nice.

Aiden is a cozy place to stay with your family. The rooms are clean and it comes with a microwave, fridge, and Keurig coffeemaker. The daily breakfast is absolutely filling with a lot of selections. The hotel also has room service and the hotel is situated near Congress Ave, so it's a short drive to the restaurants and social areas. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. They are easy to talk to and always willing to help. The hotel is also family and pet friendly.

If it wasn't for the bar and a couple front desk employees (Wale & Amanda) I would have given this hotel 0 stars. The rooms have a bit of a mildew smell, but overall clean and maintained. This is overlooked by the poor hospitality we received from management. Do not bring any issues you encounter during your stay to the attention of management. The front desk manager Trishell is unprofessional, confrontational, and tried to bully me after I requested a manager contact above her. The GM Debbie brushed off my complaint regarding my issues with Trishell, and other issues during my stay. If you can avoid this property, I would.

This is a small, well run and nicely appointed hotel. I have stayed their twice already and have had excellent experience both times. Will definitely stay there again. The staff is well trained and very accommodating. Nicely done complimentary breakfast each morning in the adjoining restaurant and the pool area is beautiful and relaxing. Its in the middle of the hotel, so no road noise to intrude on your relaxation time.

Gave it a 4 star because the room smelled a bit muggy but housekeeping Came in to spray air freshener. The front desk clerks are always welcoming , friendly and very informative about the area! The plus is the breakfast bar!! The area is always clean and the staff always refills without you chasing them around . The only downside is the little bit of construction happening in the side road and the jump on the price after best western decided to add the name ‘aiden' . Overall, great location to avoid traffic , staff and the breakfast. Thank you -will book again

Modern hotel. Check in area is spacious and well appointed with beautiful chairs and seating areas. Different layout then most of their other properties. The pool is surrounded by the hotel. It has a nice green space area.

First, the breakfast buffet is excellent. It includes a variety of hot items, cold, and healthy options. The facility was clean. The room was clean. The staff for more than helpful, patient, and very pleasant.

A well kept secret nestled in serene landscaping among Interstate construction BUT never heard it. This is a modern yet nostalgic property. Nearest to Downtown yet not. 2 miles from 6th Street. Nice pool and fitness center. GO!

This was a much nicer hotel than the ones we looked at in the city. Free parking was a big plus and an Uber was only about 8 dollars to the city highlights. Great staff and a calm pool area to relax after a hard day's sight seeing.

I've stay at this hotel ince a year for the past 5 year's. It's always clean and reasonable. Pool may need alittle cleaning but the breakfast bar makes up for the little imperfections that the hotel has. There is NO HOTEL that's perfect.... Enjoy my stay every YEAR!

What a nice place! Super friendly people, extremely clean rooms, great breakfast! The bar and restaurant attached to the hotel is really great, too. How nice to be able to enjoy a cocktail (or 2 or 3) and walk back to our room.

We had to do a quick overnight trip to Austin and the location was great. Service and room very nice. Even with the remodeling and name change it was a good choice We would stay there agai. Easy off and on I 35 in Austin.

Staff was super friendly. Parking was convenient to rooms. Staff was very attentive to all of our needs. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel was convenient to all of the downtown and campus events. This was the second time we stay at this place and will do so again.

We enjoyed our stay here a lot. It is an older property but has been updated and looks really nice. The location is very convenient to the most visited Austin attractions. The attached restaurant is a bonus and we had a light dinner there before going out. The next morning we ate the complimentary breakfast buffet. It was delicious and lots of variety. The pool area is large and very pretty. Our room was upgraded to a suite and very spacious and comfortable. Over all, a really nice place.

This hotel is a comfortable place to stay a few nights in Austin with a few quirks: The hotel layout is pretty weird and it can be confusing to navigate sometimes. It's also an older style of hotel/motel where some of the rooms open to the outside and depending on where you're staying and who's staying in the rooms around you, can get pretty noisy. That being said, the rooms are very nice and well-taken care of. The free breakfast is pretty good and the restaurant/bar attached to the hotel is a fun place to hang out. There's road construction out front right now, but otherwise this hotel is located in a perfect place to get out around south/central Austin with easy access to downtown, East Austin, South Congress, etc. We stay here often when going to events downtown.

Clean, secure. Construction going on so entry and parking were effected. Staff was friendly and helpful. Problem with keys not working. Had to have several made. Room was comfortable. Room service menu was not up o date

First off, Mylena, who works at the front desk, was amazing! She went above and beyond to get our needs met and always did it with a smile, even when things were challenging. Second, the beds and pillows were as comfortable as the W Hotel. Details, not so much. The workout room had a rowing machine, and elliptical, free weights, a treadmill, and a mediocre universal machine. They also provide towels and water. It also has two air-conditioning units and mirrors on all the walls. The breakfast buffet is quite good. The typical assortment of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, oatmeal, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. The location is a bit of a hike to downtown. It's located along the 35 freeway which has a tremendous amount of construction going on. A $13-$15 Lyft ride. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay And we definitely will be back. We loved staying here! The staff was so helpful and friendly and the hotel was quaint! Our room was very nice and clean. There wasn't a downside to this stay! So close to local attractions and downtown. This is the Perfect spot and we can't wait to return!!

Nice quiet hotel with very comfortable bed and room. Good choices at free breakfast. Helpful staff. Even though it's 3 miles from downtown it usually took 15 minutes on the interstate which is always busy.

South Texas tour was out-of-orbit for us, but I was familiar w/ATX (road construction) & the Austin City Hotel is in the middle of a ramp/interstate intersection/ construction site), good thing I called the front desk for the approach (last minute, sharp turn, unexpected), I believe, and after Easter. Very private, upscale guest, I helped neighbor-travelers (random acts of kindness), high security, (weed friendly), Restaurant, Opal Divine, made it a complete party. Keep partying, TripAdvisor asked for a rewrite.

The hotel and rooms were very nice and breakfast was very good too. We had quite a long walk to get to our room from the reception and found it hard to find, a staff member we met on the way was very helpful and showed us where to go! Location is on the outskirts of Austin but was only a short Uber ride into the city centre!

I stayed here with 11 of my friends (in 6 different rooms) & our experience was great! Everyone enjoyed the breakfast, the pool & hot tub area was a perfect spot to meet up before we went out everyday, the bar/restaurant on site was nice, & the staff was very helpful. We spent a lot of our time out downtown on 6th Street & East 6th, but getting to/from the hotel with Ubers was close/cheap enough. Would definitely stay here again!

I really like this hotel. Friendly staff, great value for the price, clean rooms, convenient location if you don't mind taking Uber/Lyft or taxis. it's not fancy, but it's got it's own kind of charm - more like an old fashioned, well-maintained roadside motel than a luxury hotel. I feel very comfortable there, and always enjoy my visits. Note: Explore to find the best route to your room! It's a bit circuitous. There are rooms with indoor hallways (any with a King bed), and those with outdoor access, but still facing the pool (two doubles). It can get a little noisy when there are people hanging by the pool - last time I was there there were teen sports teams, and other business travelers, but I like the sound of people talking and it quiets down during sleep hours.

Location was great, near the hub of the music venues, decor is nice, exterior and interior were inviting and fun. The breakfast, as in quality and options could have been a little better for the price point but overall worth the money I paid.

This is a very good Best Western. The location is great for those going downtown or South Austin (in spite of the constant road construction - that's Austin for you). They have rooms that open both outside or inside and there's a great pool area.

Joseph, the guest services man, was excellent and helped set a great tone for being nervous about staying at this hotel (due to not using Best Western in a long time; we used this location due to it being close to where we needed to go early next morning). The room we stayed in was beautiful and clean. Beds comfortable. We just heard freeway noise during the night (our room was facing the freeway - get an interior room). Security was great.

I called around 9 about water and next thing i know the front desk guy Brought me bottled water all the way to my room at night! So nice! And the breakfast was great as well as the fitness center. I will be back!

This hotel was very clean. They took my request for a room away from others into consideration and made it happen. Only downfall is that there is highway construction right in front of the hotel at the moment. Other than that, no complaints!

Our room was very clean, food was good, friendly people at front desk. It was easy to get to and go to the downtown area. It had been upgraded. Our room location was very quiet. Maid service was very good.

Great location and everything you needed starting from pool hot tub to wonderful breakfast speedy check in and out front desk staff were pleasant only negative was they should have cleaned the pool more often I used the cleaning equipment to get rid of some leaves floating on the pool

Every time I stay at this hotel I have always had a great experience. The staff is always friendly and I always feel comfortable. The rooms are always nice and clean. The price is always right. To clarify when I usually stay it is for this particular meeting or entity. Please continue to provide excellent customer service and always offer the best rate because of the number of people who stay at the hotel. As always great hotel experience.

Loved the hotel and amenities. Would definitely stay here again. I felt comfortable in the room, at breakfast time and in the lobby. The pool looked amazing, but did not get a chance to use it. The only downside was the Austin traffic and construction near the hotel.

Hotel prices in Austin can be very very high. When I booked our room here the price was quite a bit below what other nearby properties were charging. Therefore I was concerned that maybe there was some issue with this hotel. But, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and our room. Parking was easy although the roads in this area seemed to be busy during our entire stay. The room was clean and everything worked just fine. We had a room on the inner courtyard near the pool and that could be a noise issue depending on who the guests are. It was not an issue during our stay. The complimentary breakfast was fine as well. I like the rate we paid and would consider another stay here in the future should the chance occur.

The room was okay, property was very nice, breakfast was the best we've had. the pool area was great place to chill, but, the pool it self was a huge disappoint, water was cold and green with birds using it as a big bird bath.

You will have a great breakfast and clean nice room. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is right off 71 and I 35. The hotel is pet friendly, and there is a grassy area across the oneway street by the Tiger Mart. We had a ground floor room at the back of the property. Opal Divine's restaurant is adjacent to the hotel.

Older hotel that has been upgraded and is well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and work out center. Breakfast was included which was appreciated. Very thoughtful for the front end staff to upgrade our room at no extra charge. Thank you.

Friendly and clean, has a nice inner courtyard with pool and relaxation area that reduces noise from the neighboring expressway significantly. There are a good selection of breakfast items, including fresh berries and breakfast snack bars on top of the usual Best Western choices. Pricing can be a bit high during events. Unfortunately the state legislature was meeting during my stay, which resulted in significantly higher rates than neighboring weeks.

Firstly the hotel ones not give clear directions (does not say which exit to come off) on tripadvisor or website on their address section. Secondly upon arriving at the hotel about 1pm after a 200 mile drive. I had requested an early check-in which I know can not be guaranteed but upon walking into reception it was evidently clear that your main receptionist really did not want to assist us and was glaring at me. She said the room was not going to be ready for another hour (given the emptiness of the hotel I really do not believe this to be true) and the other girl who was next to her was just interested in eating her snack. I said we would sit round the pool til it was ready, she said nothing. When we got to the pool we couldn't gain access as you needed a card. When I went back to reception she said we weren't allowed around the pool until we were guests and her and her compadre starting laughing as I walked off. So basically the hotel expects guests to sit around in reception until reception decides you can have your room. In the end I had to pay money to get on my English WiFi ( as no doubt I couldn't have WiFi access either until I was an official guest and to be honest by this stage I didn't dare ask) I have travelled extensively around the world and have really never felt the need to complain about a receptionist but first impression is key. She never smiled at us or greeted us once in passing during our three night stay whereby all the other three hotels in various places in Texas could not have been more different with helpful and cheery staff. Therefore I would not recommend this hotel - I do not know why lonely planet recommend it in its guidebook and I will be complaining direct to the Wyndham Group for lack of service and customer care.

Was comfortable and great location. great value. The breakfast was very good with great variety of options. The room was clean and quiet. The location is good, it is near consgress av and downtown. Best value.

This property has potential in the nice courtyard and the on property restaurant. The facility needs maintenance attention throughout, restaurant cleaning, and breakfast quality management. The courtyard pool area was really nice.

The hotel gives a really high end feel. It's beautifully decorated, and the pool area is really fun. We didn't use the pool, but our room overlooked it, and we were able to forget we were on a highway in a city! Super fun hotel, close to SoCo district, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even the included breakfast was delicious!
