Best Western Airport 85 Motel

Nice, clean hotel. Room had a microwave and toaster, along with plates, cups, glasses and silverware. Across the street from the train station to take you to town or anywhere else the train goes. Also, very close to the airport. About a 15 minute cab ride. The only thing I found negative, was the price of the breakfast. It was a continental breakfast, toast, cereal, coffee and apple juice, and I got it for two people with the room, since we had my 9 year old daughter with us, I had to pay separate for her. 10 dollars Australian. Too much for toast, apple juice, and coffee.

We had a large group of friends rent rooms for 1 night before our flight the next day. Some of the people in our Group got either small rooms with multiple beds or a king bed and bunk beds. The beds were too firm. Wi-Fi did not work when we checked in, but it was rebooted and seemed to work better after that. The hotel was noisy and some of our friends could not sleep. Airplanes fly over and they are very loud. You can hear people talking outside or nearby rooms. No elevator for luggage on the 2nd floor. Few restaurants nearby. Price was reasonable. It was very clean. Front desk was helpful. Close to the airport (6 km). The breakfast was not great but matched the minimal continental type. Room 1 was larger and nice.

Perfect location if you need to be at the Cruise terminal just down the road. clean room, as pictured on the website, we were a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and there was plenty of room to move around. staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast included was bit average, but there is a nice coffee shop just down the road, so no much of an issue

When we arrived the room was tidy, and the location was great, especially for the price paid. Unfortunately, those were the only stand-out positives. The bathroom shower had an awful bad-smelling odor, making it nearly impossible to use, and unfortunately, the shower pressure was pitiful. The walls must be paper-thin as the guests next to us must have arrived late, arriving at 12:30 AM I could not get back to sleep until after 2:30 AM. This made getting up for an early flight difficult for both myself and my daughter, with not a lot of sleep. Because of these reasons, I would find it nearly impossible to recommend to others or stay at in the future.

The room itself was large but the bed was fabulous! King size and comfy. The motel could do with a bit of updating but it was so convenient and welcome after nearly 60 hours of travelling. There is an air con in the room and a pool at the motel. The continental breakfast is very basic. Bread for toast, cereal and 3 types of fruit. Bearing in mind it's a motel, this is fine. You will be charged for filter coffee. The motel itself was reasonably full when we arrived. It was very quiet and the guests were very considerate. There is onsite parking if you need and is a very neat place.

Early checking in after leaving the cruise was excellent. This motel has a railway station opposite which is a fast 15min trip into the city. It was an easy ride to the airport the following day. The staff are very helpful and quick to respond to enquiries

A mid-range motel PROS - close to a Woolworth's, Eagle Farm racecourse and DFO shopping - competitive pricing - rm 11 is spacious: with 1 King and 1 Single - basic complimentary continental breakfast - across from Doomben city rail station - friendly owner - room very clean CONS - shower pressure was very poor and temperature unreliable - swimming pool unuseble as covered with leaves - flat screen tv quite small

Our room was clean and tidy and the bed was quiet comfortable. The locator the motel was convenient. However, the motel was full when we stayed and people gathered outside, talking loudly until after 3am! At one stage there were about 6 people standing right outside our door talking, laughing and drinking. This did not make for a good night sleep at all and even if the owners/managers made some kind of curfew policy, I definitely would not return or recommend staying here.

For anyone looking at staying close to Brisbane airport, I'd highly recommend the Ibis hotel instead. Despite being “an airport hotel” a taxi is $40-50 (one way). The shower was terrible - small head and barely any pressure. Water temperature was impossible to get right - move it a mm to either side and it would go from burning hot to ice cold. Also, they charge $20 for a cot per night! Definitely not worth the money and would not recommend to anyone.

This is a great choice for a budget motel. It isn't fancy, but it was convenient to the airport for a morning flight. It was clean, included a light breakfast, and had free parking. I would recommend it as a great airport option.

This is the first time I have stayed at a Best Western property, and it won't be the last. On arrival we were warmly welcome by Kelly and then shown to our spacious and very clean and tidy room. Snacks we available to purchase in the mini bar if we wanted, complimentary light breakfast was delicious and beds super comfortable. Great location as within 5-minute walking distance to Bowling Club for dinner. Great value and really appreciated the genuine customer service received on check in. Kelly our host also went out of her way to help my dad and I complete our cruise check requirements by helping us find a RAT test to go with our cruise paperwork (we were leaving the next day and panicking a little as we forgot to get one and left it till the last minute)

Hotel was in perfect location for our needs and staff were friendly and willing to help, Breakfast in the morning was very good. Train station was directly opposite and easy to access and use to get into town

With a morning flight out of Brisbane Airport we booked a stay at the Best Western Airport 85 Motel as it is close to the airport, and reasonably priced (Best Western member rate). Parking is limited so best bet if you wish to keep parked off street and want to dine out order an Uber/Taxi. The hotel is opposite Doomben train station and under one of the flight paths out of Brisbane Airport, so expect train horns and aircraft noise until later in the evening. The air-conditioning was a touch noisy bordering on intrusive. Unfortunately, some hours after checking out we were charged for a bottle of wine which we certainly did not have. However it is difficult to argue the point when you're several hundred kilometres away interstate, so we'll simply vote with our wallet and stay elsewhere next time.

Excellent staff , really great cold drink selection at good prices Very well stocked fridge if you come in late. The pool is great for a a dip , smokers have their own section away from other travellers. The rooms are immaculate and well looked after and the grounds are pristine. This is a great stop for travellers near the airport- highly recommended.

The owners are so welcoming and friendly. The rooms, breakfast and amenities are great value for money. Public transport just outside your door and close proximity to the airport (and the racecourses). This is our go to Motel now when visiting Brisbane

Room clean, comfortable and spacious. Great to have the well stocked fridge on arrival as we landed quite late at night. Close to airport and not too far from Brisbane City. Love the quiet location, but not far to go for amenities with a train stop close by. Management/Hosts are brilliant, super helpful, professional and easy to get along with. Would definitely recommend.

Good location, car park small, rooms clean and tidy, staff friendly, breakfast is adequate, a few choices, the bowls club a short way away is very good for dinner, this hotel a short drive to the airport

On a very late arrival, I was kindly greeted to organise a check in for our two rooms which included a double room and a family room i think his name was John. John was very chatty talked about his travels to NT and living in Bullsbrook WA for 5 years. Our travel group included a 11mth baby and 3 children. On arrival we asked John if we could have a late check out, he said this wasn't an option, we asked if we could please place our bags in storage if no late check out available. He stated that we could use the storage for our bags after we check out at 10am due to our flight being later in the day, we were very greatful. We used the vacant tables to eat some lunch in the shade the following day, which all tables and the whole area was vacant. At reception - with now the wife and john in the office, I asked if it was possible for the kids to swim in the pool, completely understood if this wasn't possible, which it wasn't but was told there was one large family occupying the pool and because of check out we shouldnt be using the hotel facilities anymore. The had been sitting in the shaded outdoor picnic area to eat lunch which was no other people where using any of the other tables, unfortunately my son had split some of his juice in the outdoor area - onto the pavers and when the baby was eating some of the chicken and crackers have fell on the floor, John had been ordered out the office again, he made comment about the mess we made. We offered to sweep and clean the area thoroughly but was declined and asked if we could move on because the area had to be cleaned thoroughly. We asked to retrieve our bags from the storage area because we could no longer keep them in there. We were standing in the shade with a baby and children while our taxi was on its way (6 mins) we were asked to move again from the shade, completely out of the area again. In summary if your looking for hotel which is family friendly - keep looking.

Family room slept 5 with a king sized bed. There was a bar fridge & snacks. Continental breakfast included in the cost but served 6:30am to 8:30am, a bit early for us. Bowling club close by, walking distance,that served excellent meals. No Bonus: a book exchange. Railway station across the road. Helpful hosts!

Very noisy overpriced old hotel opposite train station and under flight paths and can hear guests in next rooms easily. Limited parking onsite. Proper room cleaning questionable including dusting, carpets and mould in structural cracks in showers. Only things that were good staff and breakfast.

We stayed there due to its distance from the Brisbane airport however next time I'd spend the extra 10 minutes in traffic for a nicer cleaner hotel in Spring Hill. The staff were friendly, however the room was old and dirty. The bathroom was especially dirty with bugs in it. The air conditioner filter was completely clogged with dust and mould. It was Alison located opposite a train station. Price wise it was expensive for what you got considering for less money you can stay at the Pacific Hotel Spring Hill with breakfast included.

Outstanding Service Clean Rooms staff very friendly. Great when visiting Brisbane and so very close to the Airport . Have stayed many places and this place I allways come back to . It's tucked away so lovely and quiet if a night for sleeping . Though close enough for going out for a meal excellent restaurants within walking distance inc bars.

Clean and tidy, with a very comfortable bed. Hosts at the motel are very helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast included was a bonus. A short walk to a club for an easy dinner. Close to the airport which suited the purpose of our stay and a train station just across the road .

We stayed overnight with our family of 5. We had a comfortable stay in the room. We were happy to learn that we did not need to do the dishes. Free breakfast for 2 was an added bonus. Despite being close to a main road, in a small area and having other guests enjoying themselves, our room was very quiet. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. Proximity to the airport and a Woolworths was really handy. We walked to the Woolworths in 10 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient motel for our late night arrival, only A10 minute cab from the airport. Train station and bus stop just outside, so easy to get into the city or to get the train to travel further afield.great value

If you need a place near Brisbane airport then try here. We stayed here for a night before heading home. Really good rates and it so immaculate and clean and has everything you need. Breakfast was good too Even has a pool Really pleasant to deal with

Good motel for the price, have stayed here twice now. Once after a late flight into Brisbane and again before and early flight. Room in good clean condition and the free breakfast was fine too. Very convenient place if you need to be by the airport etc. No bad words.

We had to travel to Brisbane at short notice. We looked online for accommodation, I had a few prerequisites that we were looking for, free car parking, close to the airport, close to a good place for dining, close to public transport, the train station is right across the road ,as I didn't want to try and navigate one way streets and try and find parking, we wanted a motel that offered breakfast, most don't but it was available here which was very good. The motel was very close to a supermarket, close and easy to get on and off the M1 to travel North or South. The staff were excellent, very helpful with information, room needs and they are a major asset. We will be back in November and will be staying here again, many thanks for a wonderful relaxing stay.

Can't go wrong with this little gem. The owners are friendly, comfortable beds, very clean and stylish rooms with all you need, free parking, laundry, outdoor seating areas, close to transport, pool and free continental breki, all at a great price.

We recently chose to stay here for the option of pet friendly rooms. Kelly was fantastic from the start with the booking and information. Our dog was welcome, and we met some other little dogs while there. Rooms were clean, internet was good, beds comfotable. Location is good for near city and airport, not a lot of noise.

The staff were super friendly & really cared that we had a great stay. The family room was pretty spacious for the 4 of us and the location was convenient. Parking right outside our room. It's a 10 minute walk to the movie theatre & plenty of good value restaurants for having dinner before the movie. Very happy with our stay & would definitely stay again when in Brisbane.

Our rental home was flooded and we were trying to find places to stay while we found our next home to live. We stayed at many hotels and this was our last 1 until we moved into our new home. I wish we stayed here first then we wouldn't have moved around and been a lot more comfortable here. Location is great as not far from city and motorways to get you to other main places either south or north of the city. Transport options are great as well. The hotel is clean, the room was clean, the beds were so plush and high quality and trust me after not having your own bed for a couple of months finding this was like striking gold! The air con was great and everything worked the way it should. We didn't do the complimentary breakfast as we were never up that early so we can not comment on that. I have also stayed in best western in USA and its the same and it felt comfortable as I knew its brand and to see it replicated here was a great thing! Thank you Kelly you were wonderful from the first call. Also if you find an opening here and your not sure you want to stay here you better make your mind up quick as its that good!

The location is great, easy drive to Brisbane Airport. Parking at the motel is another plus... spacious car park, easy to park in. The stand out factor for me was how spotlessly clean the room and bedding were! Also fabulous, friendly hosts made for a great stay.

Kellie and John were great hosts. We had an aircon problem which was fixed straight away and was given their personal pedestal fan for room circulation as the room had no ceiling fans. Would stay here again if needed.

We travelled interstate for a sporting tournament and stayed 5 nights at this best western 85 airport motel. The motel gardens and facilities were all in a beautiful condition, and the rooms were clean and comfy. The staff were lovely and flexible. No complaints and a great value for money stay!

We had a last minute stop in Brisbane, booked over the phone late at night. The keys were left out for us and we fell into the most comfortable beds at midnight. The room was beautiful and clean and the reception and breakfast staff were kind and happy to chat. Definitely recommend this for a quick stop but would have loved more time for a swim in the pool.

I would highly recommend this Motel when staying in Brisbane. It's in a central Location being 10 minutes from the Airport and within walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. Doomben train station is just across the road so if you want to take a day trip in to Brisbane City it's right at your doorstep. The Motel it's self comes spacious rooms with king size beds and all the features you need in your room. The Motel also provides free wonderful continental breakfast for you in the morning. The Motel is run by a wonderful management team who provide great customer service and are there to assist with any information you may need while you stay in Brisbane.

Would fully recommend. Wonderful service. Our flights were changed and we didn't arrive till midnight. the manager upgraded us to a king bed, sorted breakfast for us. They couldn't have been more helpful.

Comfortable room. Had everything we needed. Only 10 minutes from the airport, several supermarkets and plenty of dining options nearby. The limited number of car parks meant others often parked directly in front of our room and we had to park in front of someone else's which was inconvenient for all, but we never went without a park.A few more guests with cars would have changed that though. The service from managent was excellent.

We stayed here for the recent Cowboy Music Weekend at Doomben Racecourse and it was within easy walking distance to the track. The toom was clean and well laid out with comfortable bed and a table and chairs. A small complimentary breakfast is provided and is adequate. We would return if needing accommodation in the area.

We recently spent a night here and were able to check in a little earlier as our room was ready, which was appreciated. Gallopers Club is a very short walk for meals which we've always enjoyed. This motel is not too far from the Airport and opposite the Doomben Railway Station so it's a very handy location. An adequate Continental Breakfast was provided. The room was very clean, bathroom spotless. Yes, the bathroom is small but it suited our needs perfectly. We would definitely stay here again as we loved the position. Kelly greeted us with a big smile and was happy to have a chat with us.

Steer clear of this establishment. The owner had the hide to charge my credit card without my permission and then had every reason why he could not supply a copy invoice. When asked to advise about local dining facilities, he indulged in evasion and then attempted to demonstrate expertise. He should have admitted ignorance instead of attempting to cuff it through. He is a waste of space.

Great stay for a family. Close to the airport. Super friendly and accommodating team. Close to the bowls club for a good dinner out. Breakfast was sufficient before catching our flight. Would stay again.

Very small room. No windows or lift. Breakfast not good standard. Further from airport than I thought. Use Uber not taxi. Taxi cost $30 from airport. Uber return $18 Adverted Foxtel but not available while I stayed. It was very clean and lovely staff.

Close to airport. Rooms are clean and the service very friendly. Handy amenities like toaster and cutlery and crockery, plus a small mini bar. Bed was comfortable and there's a lovely outdoor courtyard - perfect place to do your work or have a glass of wine and some takeaway food!

We did a last minute (direct) booking and everything was fantastic. From the initial phone call to the big wave goodbye from the office when we left. I have managed motels previously so I have a high expectation on customer service and cleanliness. This motel did not disappoint my partner and I. Definitely will be telling our friends and when in Brisbane will come back to stay.

Stayed the weekend with mates at Best Western Airport 85 Ascot Brisbane to attend Stradbroke races (something we have done for 5 years & stayed at this place everytime). The owners could not be more helpful, allowed us early entry, very friendly and willing to accommodate our every needs. They were even helping people by carrying there luggage when leaving. Will definitely the back next year. The motel is idea to attend both Eagle Farm & Doomben (400mtr walk) race tracks.

We stayed here after a late flight into Brisbane. Reception shuts earlier, but they have a safe deposit system to access your keys out of hours. Old room and facilities, near a railway line. Very clean. Pool adjacent to car park. Simple free breakfast for 2 people per room.

We were in Brisbane to attend a family wedding. This place was so clean, comfortable and with all amenities. Kelly was very helpful and gave us an early check in so we can get ready for the wedding. We will definitely come back. Thanks Kelly .

Our stay at the Best Western Airport 85 Motel was great. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we required. It was close to the Airport as we were flying out the next morning and the gentleman who looked after us on our arrival was very obliging and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

The owners John and Kelly are friendly and helpful. King size beds in reasonable sized rooms are comfortable ensuring a good night sleep. Off the main road meant there was no traffic noise, and I hardly heard the occasional train or plane. On-site parking a bonus and being able to walk to a local club for a decent meal was great. We will return to stay in this comfortable, close to airport and public transport location

Excellent place to stay if you have an early or late trip to Tangalooma resort. Check-in & out very quick, rooms very clean. Location is excellent in regards to airport and other trips such as Tangalooma.

Highly recommend, nice location, close to everything and staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home and can't do enough. Would book again without hesitation, very easy location to get too coming from both sides of Brisbane. Very clean, great facilities and very reasonably priced.

We stayed here at the end of our 2 week holiday before heading back to Tasmania. The overall experience was warm and friendly. The rooms were clean and there was even a pool to cool down after our busy day. Would stay here again!

When we arrived there was no booking because booking .com had not sent through booking details . The room was clean but the air con was noisy and we where unable to get foxtel on the TV .Staff where friendly and helpful

We are a family with young kids and needed a place to stay close to the city to attend an appointment. We booked a family room which was very comfortable, clean, spacious and had everything we needed. There is a supermarket, shops, restaurant's, airport, train station and racecourse all close by. The kids loved the pool area, it was nice and shaded and had lovely gardens through the motel complex. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Happy to go above and beyond to help or answer any questions. A light continental breakfast is included which is a bonus. I highly recommend for anyone wanting somewhere close to the airport or city to stay. Or even just a get away. Great for any type of travellers.

Found the Hotel through Booking.com but due to the late notice if the booking and the time of night decided to call the Hotel direct Reception is not manned 24 hours and eventually my call was answered, I enquired about availability and if they'd offer the same rate as Booking.com. The receptionist said it may be a couple of dollars but wouldn't give me a firm price and asked for a credit card to secure the room, this I did due to the late hour and my tiredness after a long day traveling. I booked a taxi from Brisbane airport to the hotel and on arrival at checkin was presented with a room rate of a $165 way above the advertised rate on booking.com of $89 so more the a few dollars extra that the receptionist had alluded to during our telephone conversation. I challenged the rate and was told that the room on Booking.com wasn't availability which I found odd as it was only 15 minutes ago and it was past midnight I feel the Hotel took advantage of the situation and the late hour. I would advise tired and weary travels to avoid this very low budget Hotel and greedy franchise owners.

I found this Motel warm and welcoming. The driveway, garden and grounds were well kept, the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. Complimentary breakfast included fresh fruit, yoghurt and toast. It was in a good location directly opposite a train station, only a few minutes drive to the airport and an easy walk to local restaurants and the river ferry. Overall, this was excellent budget accomodation, well recommended.

The level of service provided to help me out with a super late arrival and super early departure was amazing. The hotel was in a great location close to the airport, rooms were comfy, clean and quiet.

John and Kelli go out of their way to help you. We were in Brisbane for medical reasons. When we came back from our appointments we were asked if we needed any help with anything. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc. were topped up happily on request.

Simple but clean, quiet and close to airport. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Easy transfer to/from airport as we were only staying one night. Great pub and playground close by. Appreciated the simple continental breakfast to save having to buy food or find somewhere to eat in the morning.

This is the best experience I have had that I can remember and I am a regular traveler. Give John And Kellie a call. They will go out of their way to accommodate you and make your stay an enjoyable memorable experience. Best sheets I have ever slept between!!!

The receptionist was bit rude to me when I tried to make a booking in the middle of the night. Later, I found out that the breakfast was included in the price I paid for the room which they didn't even bother to tell me and I had to ask them about it. It was an English breakfast where they didn't bring stuffs I ordered and was very poor and cheap. The interior was good and clean except for the toilet seat which had urine stains on it before we used it. Lastly, I already was disappointed then they charged me $6 for two 300mls water bottle that I had consumed overnight. It was my worse stay at this hotel and would not recommend to my family and friends.

We chose to stay due to close proximity to the airport for an early departure and were pleasantly surprised. The managers are welcoming and very helpful, the rooms spacious and immaculate, walking distance to Racecourse Road and Ascot Bowls Club and less than 10 minutes to the airport. We were unlucky to have a group of selfish rowdy travellers who went late into the night and were up again at 4am, luck of the draw sometimes. I recommend this motel, it was better than most in the price range.

I had a delayed flight that required emergency accommodation. I turned up at mignight and grabbed the last room and they did everything possible to make my stay easy and enjoyable. The room was great, the price reasonable and the service excellent. Thanks!

We stayed two nights at the Best Western! There were five of us in one room and it was adequate! We liked the kitchenette, especially the refrigerator! The staff was extremely helpful! The hotel found us transportation from the airport and back to airport. Also the same driver drove us to the Australia Zoo which was about an hour from the hotel. The driver waited for us and returned us to the hotel! The car and driver was arranged by the staff of the hotel. Awesome driver and vehicle! Extremely helpful! The hotel is near the airport but has a large marketplace that we could walk to for anything a person needed! That was very convenient for us! Also a Sports Bar and Restaurant was within walking distance from the hotel. We think it was next to the horse race track. The food was priced very reasonable and it was tasty! The amount of food they served was enough for two meals! The breakfast was just very limited so the three teenagers did not eat breakfast that was provided but the chicken dinner leftovers. There was choices of bread and cereal and coffee. We would highly recommend this hotel and the shuttle service if you need to be close to the airport!

We all collapsed into the very comfortable beds as soon as we got in the room. We were surprised how comfy the bedding was as well as the quietness of the rooms (Friday arvo). The facilities looked good too. We will stay again when we need a transit.

They were fantastic & very accomdating. The place was very clean, great facilities & locstion was perfect. Adorable & fun night before we had to fly home. The owners live on site & are there to help with any request. Their breakfast is very basic but all you need. Was fresh & clean

Absolutely fantastic management!! I have stayed here twice with my little girl and the management really go out there way to make your stay fantastic. I landed in Brisbane early and they sorted my room early for me because I had been on a long flight and my little girl was being dropped of to me at lunch time. Will be staying here more often when in Brisbane

The hotel is located across the street from Doomben train station and is about a 30 min walk to the Bretts wharf ferry terminal. There is also a bus stop about 100m down the street, Approx a 10-15 min drive to Westfield Chermside. Located close to the Brisbane airport. There is limited parking inside the hotels property (none undercover). The kids loved the pool, it was also very clean. The booking we made for a 1 night stay for news years eve was a very reasonable price. The room we stayed in (family room- 2 double beds) was clean, quite large for a hotel room, private, had air conditioning. Check in and out was easy. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was free for 2 guests per room. This is a smoke free property (they do have a designated smoking area), Overall I can't fault this hotel, and highly recommend it. We will be back if we need to stay in Brisbane again.

Simple but clean and quite spacious. Basic breakfast but fine. Just a little far from the airport. Spraying the room for mozzies would be a nice touch before guests check in as the room was alive with them.

The area looks a bit shady , opposite a railway track and some dodgy houses. But you can't hear the trains,that's a bonus. Rooms are okay, but dated but okay, bed was comfortable and shower was hot. Breakfast was okay. It's close to a bowling club for meals.

Stayed at this motel for 2 days, the owners John and Kellie were fantastic, very helpful about thing to do in the surrounding area, the rooms were excellent very clean and all areas were exceptional kept, lovely, continental breakfast was included and was ample, would advise everyone to book the place great people, perfect for airport.

After a bad experience with another hotel at 6pm on the phone I found Best Western airport 85. Kelly was fabulous. Thankyou. She advised us to take the taxi as it was 11 mins from the airport (55 mins via train) Doomben station directly across the quiet street. Fabulous location. Quiet, close to club, cafes, river. Breakfast included was ample. Clean rooms and comfortable. John and Kelly were fabulous and organised the shuttle for pick up, it was $12.50 pp, but we were at the airport in about 10 mins. Gr8 stay over, highly recommend and we would stay again. :)

Stayed at this motel for 5 nights and our experience was terrific! The staff were very welcoming, kind and gave the best advice. The location was suitable as it was very close to the airport. Breakfast was decent. The room was very comfortable and big. Would reccomend!

The hotel is very convenient as close to Brisbane airport and opposite the train station for trains into the centre, you can also take the ferry, but it is a longer walk. As we were leaving early we could not have breakfast, but they put bread condiments and fruit in the fridge. The room also had a microwave. The hotel organised a shuttle bus to the airport, which has to be paid for to the driver. Unfortunately the toaster did not work properly and the bread did not pop up but burned and set of the smoke alarm at 4 in the morning, so toasters will need to be checked.

The new owners have made a noticeable difference to this motel. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated and very clean. Free Continental Breakfast for two is provided, and the breakfast room is very clean, well laid out, and the breakfast provided is generous. There is also a very nice outdoor area to use for coffee, take-aways etc. . The location is also ideal with the airport about 7 kilometers away, and other great eating options within walking distance. We highly recommend this as a place to stay. Miriam

Just what we needed for an overnight stay after our arrival into Brisbane airport at 11pm. (6.5km from airport arrivals, less than 10 mins taxi ride which cost just $25) Very clean amenities, good hot shower and a soooo comfy bed. Quiet location, and no noise from adjoining rooms despite the motel being full. Great price which included continental breakfast for two. Very efficient after hours check in, friendly staff. Perfect!

Although situated close to Brisbane airport this hotel was surprisingly quiet. Rooms were comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast is included. If you prefer to eat out I recommend you head for Portside which is a 5 minute drive as there are an assortment of restaurants. Alternatively, head for eagle farm race course and Vito's Cucina and bar.

Quiet spot,very comfortable bed, good hosts, sports club nearby for dinner. All things necessary for a good night before heading to the airport on a short ride the next morning. There are stairs to negotiate if you have mobility issues or have a heavy suitcase.

Good clean room & staff were extremely helpful & friendly. Breakfast was complimentary. Unfortunately we had a bottom floor room & a family above us. Was a little noisy. Water pressure in shower was low.

Stayed at the end of June for a few nights and a few nights in July with my little girl. Fantastic place to stay every thing I needed was there and if I needed anything the managers helped me out as it was my first visit to Australia. Friendly /clean/place and will be staying again. James

Our room was on the upper floor. There is no lift. Carrying my wife's luggage up the stairs was a literal pain. That is my only complaint. The room was sparkling clean. The beds and bathroom were good. The neighborhood was quiet. We checked in late by using a telephone outside reception to get a code to a lock box that contained our key. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Continental breakfast for my wife and me was included in our tariff. Breakfast for our daughter was half price. That was a pleasant surprise, because I was expecting to pay more. The best thing about this place was the location. It is a $23 taxi ride from the airport and right across the street from Doomben Rail Station. We saved money by gaining easy access to the light rail system without using the Airtrain. I would definitely stay there again if I needed access to the rail system, but next time I will ask for a ground floor room.

Best Western is well situated for travellers needing accommodation a quick drive to or from the airport. The accommodation itself is fairly basic and some rooms are up a steep flight of stairs. I got the impression that the management were struggling to stay on top of the range of basic issues that happen in hospitality. A basic "serve yourself" breakfast was provided but there were not enough plates and cups and I observed (on a few occasions) people having to wait for plates and cups to be replenished. This is just not good when people are expecting a quick meal before heading to the airport. People staying 2 nights were asked for their breakfast cards after their first breakfast but they thought they had paid for breakfast for both mornings. I don't know if this was a mistake or whether it was purposeful but it was not a good look. Another thing that was not good was the lack of hot water that occurred during my stay. There needed to be "complex wide" communication about this so that people could plan for their circumstances. In the evening a plumber had been called ....but when I got up the next morning there was certainly no hot water in my unit. Boiling the electric jug to try to have a warm wash (in the absence of a shower) was hopeless too, as the plug in the washbasin didn't work. Management need guidance as the place was not running smoothly during my stay. I wish them all the best in what must be a very steep learning curve.

The staff were very accommodating, and made my stay comfortable and hassle free! Location is great for those needing to travel, and all amenities were exactly as needed for anyone on the go. Great shower pressure as well - a big plus!

Tucked away, surrounded by family homes this motel has it all. Clean comfortable beds & rooms, nice pool area for a dip. Lovely breakfast and the new owners were very friendly and ever so helpful at checking us in early after arriving from our long flight from LA. There is a take away shop on the corner and a bistro a short walk away with nice pub style meals. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying there.

We had an overnight stay before going on a cruise. We have stayed her three times now (all for the same reason) and have been very satisfied every time. The location is great, the staff are wonderful and the beds are comfortable which is all we ask for.

Close to amenities, transport, clubs, central city and airport.. Clean and welcoming, with a continental breakfast provided. Its not the Sheraton, but more then adequate for the brief stop-over we had. The office manager was welcoming and friendly and happily answered questions and gave directions

What a great clean place, the owner was most helpful. Easy to get to from airport offered breakfast also, and a bowling club in walking distance for dinner. Nice hot shower and beds were comfortable, price was affordable for a family of four.

I ended up staying over 3 wonderful weeks here on a recent business trip. It was perfect throughout at a price soo much lower than staying in the CBD. Its very clean, very quiet and situated in a lovely neighbourhood. All the great restaurants, bars and supermarket are within 10 minutes walk. I took full advantage of the free parking, breakfast, wifi etc and the mini kitchenette was great for heating up takeaway and eating on the verandah. Its nice to sit in the garden with your own glass of wine with no noise at all. All of the staff are smiling, happy people that made me really feel at home. The train station is 2 mins away so I could zip into the CBD for the day without paying the ridiculous parking fees. The cruise Port is close by and the Airport is a 10 min drive.. VALUE for money to the max..

Stayed here for business had been staying before at another motel . This place is now my Brisbane new Accommodation place to stay. As is very close to the Airport reasonable prices including breakfast . Public transport at the doorstep and plenty of eating places close by. With very accommodating staff.

We would have liked a tap in tge kitchen area. And bunk beds that didnt wobble and cause a melt down of a tired child after travelling. The room was cleanish. Noisey overnight with people coming and going. Cheap basic, ok for one night.

We had a quick 16 hour stay here after missing our flight home. Room had everything that was needed for a short stay. Close to the airport. Easy to order take away. Arrived late but keys were in a safe and easy to access. We were on the first floor, which was not easy to access with heavy bags. Breakfast was included and served from 7am but we didn't have time to try it. Overall good.

Its a nice clean motel with spacious rooms. The staff and fellow guests staying there were all friendly which made for a great atmosphere and a nice start to our holiday.Close to restaurants and nice and close to the airport. Also has a pool and spa outside.

We stayed here because it is close to Boondall and we were seeing Keith Urban. Rooms are clean. beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly. Breakfast included. They even gave us the phone number of a transport service that turned out to be a great experience as well. Will be staying there again.

First time I have stayed in a Best Western Hotel; this one was in Ascot Brisbane, It was just for one night but the experience was overwhelming. John made our group of 17 feel welcome from the onset. And although we arrived early he had our rooms all ready and it was a blessing after travellung for a couple of hours in the heat of the day and a cool room was the remedy. Facilities were great and the ammenities were well stock and rooms clean and inviting. The place looked clean outside as well as the room. But most of all the cost of the rooms was in our budget range. We paid Backpacker proces for a top hotel. Best Western, if they are all like Ascot, is on my books for life.

Close to the airport and cruise terminal for easy commute for our journey. Lovely quiet rooms for a peaceful night sleep until the alarm went off at 3.30am (I should have checked this but forgot). The shower was nice and hot but the soap from the last people was still in the soap holder so that was a bit off putting. However the easy walk to the local Sports Club (Gallopers) was only a block away for a tasty dinner that was good value, you show them your key and you get members rates for both food and drink. The room was clean and overall a good experience.

Recently had a stay in this hotel and would be happy to recommend this hotel if you require quick access to the brisbane airport. The room had no views but was very clean and tidy with a very good bed to sleep in. The room was a generous size with a balcony attached.

Very close to Tangalooma Ferry, arrived after work and check in process was quick. Room was clean and tidy. Is a nearby ~10 min walk Woolworth's and restaurant area if you needed dinner etc. As I checked out around 5:30am you can drop the key in the box at reception on the way out.

Nice clean tidy rooms, in fact the whole place was clean. breakfast was satisfying, toast, cereals, juice, fruit, and yoghurt plenty to choose from.. We would definitely stay again. And very close to airport 10 mins drive away. And the gallopers club for dinner was great too.

Nice motel! Comfortable bed, clean linen and nice rooms! Only shower head could be replaced, very small shower head with low water pressure. I'm a size M and had to wiggle to get enough water :p Sad that the water bottles weren't complimentary:(

This hotel was reasonably priced and not real roomy. The Hotel owner was nice and held our bags all day after we had come in on a 6AM overseas flight . We checked into the room in the PM after our business in Brisbane CBD was completed. We then walked to Racecourse road for restaurants. There was breakfast included the next morning of our one night stay.

Place is decent, near the airport, the DFO shopping and also a woolies supermarket down the road. But would be hard pressed to get a good night sleep because cars are park just outside you bedroom. We hit the sack at 9pm, was woken up at 11pm by a driver revving his car to go out and again at 2am when he came back, than at 5am a family was loading up their vehicle for a early start and its was so noisy with the children talking loudly. Also could not have a proper shower because the water was not draining fast enough, so you got to stop and wait for the water to drain off and start your shower again, if not the water would flow out onto the bathroom area, think the drain hole have not be clear for a long time. Could not get any service once the office is close.

We stayed as a family of 5 before flying overseas. Upon departure we were incorrectly charged $25 for a missing cushion which we did not take. Room was dirty and previous occupants items were left behind including dirty socks and a dummy. Would not recommend for a family. Very small and noisy. Be careful of fees taken after leaving...

Honestly, a 3.5 Star review. Firstly the positives: this place is clean, beds are comfortable, staff are friendly, free wifi, nice garden area. It's close to Ascot racecourse and Portside, though over a km walk so it depends on your time here or fitness for this to be classed as quick access. Racecourse road is very close for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it's only a $7 Uber to get to eat street! (Do yourself a fav and head there before you boot!). I felt the place was a little overpriced. There are a few things that make it feel less than a 4 Star, such as a 3-pin stream shower, window looking out over a balcony that you can't access and view over the car park, thin walls that allow you to hear your neighbours and the railway line opposite the hotel. There are a lot of elements that remove this small suburban dwelling from the likes of a 4 Star city hotel, and I think that's the key to reading these reviews. For a small, privately run motel in the burbs, they're really quite good, and put obvious effort into keeping the place in good condition. All in all, If you're looking for a relatively quiet, safe and comfortable place to sleep between days out, This is a good option. I wouldn't choose this if staying in your room was on the agenda.

This was a convenient location for a traveller headed for the airport. The service was fast and friendly. My room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. It was a bit of a hike to the nearest restaurant, but then, I needed to stretch after a long drive. The room was fairly expensive, but that is what one expects if one is staying so close to a major international airport. I would stay here again.

We booked a room for 5 pax to stay a night as we touch down late. The hotel is just about 10 minutes away from airport. The room is clean and comfortable. Easier check-in process after office hour and there is parking on site.

Just needed a few nights before heading off to Perth. The Hotel is opposite Doomben station which was perfect as I did not have to spend extra money on Uber to get to the station. It is also a few miles (10 minutes-ish) from the airport. I had a ground floor room. It had everything I needed and more. It was very clean and spacious. Had a microwave, toaster, and fridge, however, a basic breakfast was included in the room rate. It was basic but if you only needed coffee, toast, and cereal it was perfect. Only 15-20 minutes walk away is Ascot with shops, bars, and restaurants with plenty of choices. If you need your hair cut I can highly recommend Raceway Barbers. Best experience ever. Wifi was free and fast and never failed. It allowed me to get up to date with expenses and admin which was great. Only two nights but it was perfect. I left quite early in the morning for the airport but I was well refreshed and ready for the day.

Stayed here for one night to be close to airport. Now it is close to train station, airport and races tracks but that's all it has going for it. I had #25, the neighbor was up around 4.30am, so noisy! The room was only inviting to sleep, you would not stay a minute more. The location had a negative energy and I felt a bit uneasy there. Breakfast was good, very simple continental. Great convince to airport by the pick up service, $15 who arrived on time.

This motel offers an excellent location, quiet surroundings and well appointed rooms. I stayed for two nights on a business trip. The rooms offer space to set-up a laptop and work or to relax. The location is close to the Doomben railway station (regular trains to the city) and a short walk down to the facilities and transport of the Cruise Liner terminal at Hamilton.

My wife and I stayed here because it was a short walk to Doomben racecourse. We really just needed a bed but this hotel was much better than that. The room was a little bigger than you expect for a hotel room. The thing I noticed first was how clean the room smelled & looked. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included, which was a good continental spread. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Did not get the room i booked. When we arrived we found out The property was a non smoking property. Under Property Disclosure on Booking.com it did not say it was a non smoking property. I booked a room with a Balcony so i could smoke and found out in the room i could not. The walls were paper thin so we listened to the room next doors TV all night, and as all Hotels Check out is a 10am and check in 2pm Why start cleaning rooms at 7am when people are trying to sleep. Breakfast Included was advertised beautiful but all we got was cereal and toast.

I arrived at the airport at 1am. The check in was great given how late it was (albeit a little confusing to begin with). The room was spacious, the bed was comfy and I had everything I needed to have a relaxing sleep and morning routine following a long haul flight. Great shower, and now little breakfast. The staff were friendly and conversational. Great value for money and only a $25 taxi fare from the international airport.

My husband & I stayed here to be as close as possible to the racecourse we were attending. The motel is very clean with a friendly, welcoming feel. Our room was very quiet. The motel is incredible value and the light breakfast included was perfect.

On our road trip from Cairns to Brisbane the last night we stayed at this Excellent recently fully refurbished motel ideally located near to Brisbane Airport. The Reception manager was absolutely brilliant with a Smooth and painless check in and provided us with local information and directions. Our Room was very large and well equipped and above all spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable queen bed plus a single bed. It had a large walk in shower. A complimentary continental breakfast was provided in the price (which was very good value). This was sufficient to see us on our way and tide us over until lunch .

Stayed here overnight after arriving from Adelaide, our flight was 5hrs late so the 24hr check in was a really bonus as we arrived after midnight. Room very clean, sheets and towels were a spotless white. Amenities in the room were appreciated and the complimentary body wash and shampoo had a great fresh smell. Very convenient for airport and city access. Price is excellent especially given the included continental breakfast. We would definately use again.

Checked in found the room perfectly clean, plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Staff were very friendly and happy to give advice about the area. Great for an overnight stay. Would happily stay there again.

This was our third time staying at the Best Western Airport 85 Motel with our family of 5 and it most definitely will not be the last! Apart from being in a very convenient location, close to most of the long stay airport parking options, it is always clean and tidy with easy check in and check out facilities, even after hours. Coming from the Sunshine Coast we usually check in after 7pm and check out before 6am, so we rarely have any contact with staff but our key is always ready in the key lock box and we simply ring through on the free phone outside the office to get the code. We always stay in the family rooms, and have stayed both upstairs and downstairs. These rooms consist of a comfortable queen size bed, a bunk bed and a roll out bed to accommodate our 3 children perfectly. It is also handy to have the kettle and the fridge in the room (this time we unfortunately forgot our lunch bag with sandwiches for the plane in the fridge though!!). It is always well priced compared to other similar properties around. We can definitely recommend this place as an excellent option for your airport accommodation! We will be back in September :-)

We stayed here following a long flight from the UK,very close to airport and right opposite train station into Brisbane, very friendly and helpful staff,clean apartment and lovely pool and jacuzzi,ideal to freshen up and relax. Breakfast was fab with lots to choose from. Definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

Please see previous Room smelled of urine and stale cigarette smoke, was not on the top floor as requested, had no outside line to call police or any other emergency help, was told that this was in heart of the city of Brisbane and was NOT - was in a very dangerous, seedy side of outer town, and was noisy and smelled awfully of urine and smoke.

We needed to drop our hire car of at 6:30 am and this motel was within 5 minutes of the drop off place and also close to the DFO. Clean, tidy and quiet - bowls club is a 5 minute walk and does great meals. Ideal overnight stop for flights.

Needed somewhere close to international airport for an early flight next day. Booked through Wotif easily. Communication and confirmation was very good. Three of us had a triple room - smallest room in complex with very little room for luggage but a friendly check in, clean room and everything you need for an overnighter. Close to Coles and lots of restaurants so good to walk to though many were closed day after public holiday. Thankfully our room had a microwave and crockery for three. Pool looked lovely though we didn't use. There are rooms upstairs so ring direct to book ground floor if you want a ground floor room. We would stay again.

With a 4am check-in time for an international flight out of Brisbane. Riom was spacious, bed comfortable. Small minibar which was great for cold water. Only complaint is the aircon tooks hours to make any difference to the room temp...time to replace or upgrade it

I wanted a convenient location to break my journey from the airport to road connections.So after a 24 hour flight I just wanted a clean secure room with a comfortable bed and good shower. I got exactly that. Ok it looks a bit tired from the outside but the no frills room was spotless and comfortable. Stocks are limited in the fridge, from memory a can of Coke and a chocolate bar but there is a kettle to make a drink. If you have time for the breakfast (included in the price) it was more than adequate. I will mention the after hours check-in - this I had a problem with as it was dark and the button to press on the key pad (which gives a combination to the key safe) was not obvious to me. Luckily a staff member was around and came to the rescue. By the time I left in the morning I decided that I would use this Best Western again for a quick stop-over.

A group of friends stayed at this awesome motel after attending a concert at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre which isn't too far away. We all found the rooms to be spacious, clean and very tidy and in a lovely quiet convenient location, Portside is also very close by. Breakfast was great and a lovely surprise to be included in the rate. Thanks for a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this motel, the staff were so helpful, warm and friendly too.

We stayed twice. An overnight stay on the way to MacKay and four nights before our return flight to Canada. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The motel is near the airport and is within walking distance to the Portside Wharf, restaurants and some shops. We would stay here again.

This was the only negative in my holiday, they did let us check in early which was a bonus, but I want happy that they had already charged my CC before I arrived, after all they knew I was coming and should have waited as I was going halves with a friend, also the rooms have very thin walls, so not good if you have noisy neighbors. Rooms are clean a comfortable, if a little on the cramped side, they do have a good complimentary breakfast.

Decided to stay for just one night at a less expensive Motel near to where I was picking up my Motorhome that I was renting but also near to the Airport. Wasn't disappointed. Only a small complex (in area) but is two storey building. Parking is in front of ground floor rooms in quadrangle. Manager very pleasant at check-in. Had pleasant sleep in very nice room. Does have pool but didn't have time to use. Motel is across road from Doomben Train Station so very convenient if needing public transport Only has breakfast facilities (Continental) which was included so went to Gallopers Sports (Bowls) Club nearby for dinner (about 400 metres away).

Great place to stay, very helpful when we came in after the office had closed. I have stayed here more than once. Will stay again when catching flights. Close to airport and train station. Great rooms I havent't stayed long enough to be able to use the pool but there is alway next time.

We stayed here just one night for convenience so as to be close to family & it was simple, clean & a good choice. Check in (& out) was easy, our room was spacious enough with a very comfy bed & the included buffet breakfast was nice. Everyone we spoke with was lovely & very helpful. Easy access into & out of the city using public transport, the train station is literally across the road & bus stops just along the road.

Friendly staff. Accommodating to early check in ! Great advice on how to spend our day touring Brisbane CBD. Very clean room. New lamp shades. Easy for 2 singles to share. Took a bit to find the second trash can located in a drawer pull out in kitchen area. But that was not a big issue.

Whilst the Motel may not generally have the Kerb Appeal as some of the Nearby Accommodation - Don't be Fooled! - We found our Ground Floor King Room (11) to be Spacious, Clean, Tidy & Cosy... For your convenience the room had available a Toaster, Tea/Coffee Facilities + Microwave with Plates/Cutlery, an In-room Safe... The Room Tariff was very reasonable for the offered accommodation which included Complimentary (Continental) Breakfast for 2... And What a Handy Location - within minutes to the Cruise Ship Terminal & Bretts Wharf to catch the City Cat, a short 10 minute drive to the Domestic/International Airport, Close to some nice eatery's (could Highly Recommend "Eat Street Northshore" open Friday/Saturday evenings)... We were able to get on the M1 & be at the Boondall Entertainment Centre being only14 K's away.... Free Parking is available Onsite - it is worth noting there is a 2.1 metre height restriction upon entering the Motel Carpark... The Grounds (BBQ Area) + Pool is very well looked after... Thank you to the Friendly Hosts - we could Highly Recommend Best Western Airport 85 Motel!...

We arrived at this hotel after a flight from Adelaide with 3 children (1 of those a baby) it was fairly close to the airport and easy to find with the GPS. On our arrival at approx 9.30pm we had to use the after hours box to obtain our room key which was pretty straight forward, There was only 1 car park left in the motel thankfully as lugging all our stuff and the tired kids would not have been ideal! This property is 2 story so if you are disabled or have trouble getting luggage upstairs make sure you book a ground floor unit. We stayed in a family room which consisted of a king bed plus a single bunk. Beds were comfortable and clean. The room had a small table and 2 chairs, ironing board, safe, microwave, kettle, toaster, plates, bowls and cups, mugs, stuff for tea and coffee. It also had a fridge with a small minibar with coke, fanta, lemonade, water (all $3 each) noodles $4.50 and chips for $3. The office also had a range of other food and toiletries a tired traveler may need. I booked this hotel through wotif for $187 a night as it said it included breakfast upon paying and confirmation email it says breakfast only for 2 people which is very annoying this was my one pet peave with this place. You book for 2a3c you expect to have free breakfast for all included in the room rate. Thankfully upon arriving at the dining room for breakfast children aged 0-3 are free which was 2 of my kids and aged 4-11 is $6, 12 and over $12. The dining room is only open M-F 6.30am-8.30am, Sat-Sun and public holidays 7am-9am. Breakfast selection was continental. They had cereals, weetbix, cornflakes, allbran, a variety of different breads,fruitbread, fruit, peach cups, yogurt, tea coffee and juices all very satisfying. The staff were all very friendly. Would recommend this place for a short stay in Brisbane.

Awesome location to club and shops. Comfy bed, hot shower, breakfast included. Great club Hamilton Bowls Club about 500 metres away with superb meals. Easy walking to shops, cruise port and doomben race course. Recommended.

This is a nice location for the Brisbane airport, just a few kilometers away with a gas station along the way to top of the tank of your rental car. We had a nice family room with ample closet and storage space for 2 adults and 2 adult children. Wifi worked well and the hotel was quiet with helpful welcoming staff. We were well rested for our early morning flight...would stay again.

Easy and quick check-in, lovely service with a smile, plus the room is spotless and faultless. With free wifi and a quick 10 minute drive to the Airport, this really is the perfect place! If we visit Brisbane again - we are coming here!

We had a great time as we stayed for a total of 9 nights during two separate stays for our vacation from the US. We were absolutely treated like family by Greg and Kristine and the rooms were always clean and appropriately restocked. They were even understanding of the traveling woes of hauling a toddler around. I would minus 1 star from the overall rating due to inconsistent treatment from managers that covered a weekend. They were not as knowledgeable or friendly as the usual managers, but this only spanned one weekend of our trip... so no big deal. All in, this is a great place to stay and we would not hesitate staying there again.

We enjoyed our one night stay. It is close to the airport and rail. It includes a continental breakfast. It is in a safe area. We arrived after dark and felt safe and found our room easily. The room was clean. We were satisfied.

We arrived early evening to be greeted by a cheerful and very helpful Chris. She offered an upgrade thanks to the owner. Room was a family room offering plenty of space for our 3 night stay. Breakfast was included, full continental is offered which is more than adequate. Greg was very welcoming in the breakfast room running through the food on offer. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff we dealt with during our stay. Opposite station into the city which we thought would be noisy, but never bothered us at night. Loved to have used the pool but unfortunately the weather wasn't in our favour. Room includes parking which is a big plus, along with the free wifi offered. Overall very happy with our stay here and would definitely return when we venture east to Brisvegas again.

Stayed for overnight for an early flight. All the amenities you could ask for including Douwe Egbert coffee!! Whole room and bath squeaky clean! I would definitely stay there again. FYI, Cab fare to airport is $26 AU. X-ion shuttle is $15AU and need to schedule the night before on the courtesy phone. There is a breakfast but did not use as my flight was too early.

The room was clean and it had a nice bathroom. On two occasions we had to go to the front desk for towels to wipe up water off the tile in the hallway. It was raining so hard it bounced off the pavement at the back door and underneath it into the room. You would have thought the motel staff would have offered to clean it up. Back to the front desk again, this time for batteries for the t.v. remote, which wasn't working upon arrival. We were on ground level and the main door is a patio door. Once the drapes are closed for privacy, it was like you were in a box. We felt this motel is overpriced. Their breakfast is nothing special either. Some positives, they are 10 minutes to the airport and close to Portside, where you can grab a bite to eat and shop or Racecourse Road, where there are more restaurants. There's a couple of race courses within walking distance. The City Cat is close if you want to take a trip into downtown Brisbane on the river. It takes an hour from Portside and is only $4.10 pp. It's a very pretty trip. We would not stay here again.

We stayed in the motel on our first night before a flight to Phuket - we also returned for our last night before driving home - very friendly hosts - room was adequate but very clean & comfortable - we would stay here again when needed

Arrived late having just got off our flight so this was our stopover and was so easy to get too from the airport. Was given very clear instructions and received our key promptly. Room was easy to access and very clean and temperature was spot on. I slept like a log. Breakfast was great, no cooked breakfast but a range of bread to toast, cereals and fruit. Service was excellent. Bonus was breakfast was included in the hotel cost. Great way to start our holiday refreshed and ready to go. Basic minibar, no alcohol.

With a few past horror experiences at airport hotels under my belt, I approached this with great trepidation. Just an overnighter to join an international flight so did not require 5 star. What a pleasant surprise. Initial phone contact was extremely friendly. The check in was OK (rang staff who provided a safe combo) and my room was upstairs (did not appear to be a lift for those with heavy baggage). Very clean, relatively large (queen bed and a single), comfy bed and a good working shower. Good sized TV so pretty much all that was required. Bonus breakfast voucher for a small downstairs cafe and a short cab ride to the airport. My room was 20 and so was at the back of the property and very quiet. Good nights sleep at a reasonable price so will definitely stay here again for transfers.

OK. This is as absolutely bad as it gets for this experienced traveler. We prepaid for a room for 2 nights in November 2016 for a trip in April 2017 staying at the hotel April 30 and May 1st 2017. Had our scheduled flight from Port Moresby been on time we would have arrived in Brisbane around 4:30 pm on April 30. However, that did not happen and we ended up arriving at the hotel on May 1 at around 9:00 am. Upon trying to check in to our prepaid room we were told that since we didn't show up on April 30 the hotel rented out our room and there were no other rooms available for us so we needed to move on. Think of that. The hotel got to sell the same room twice and also screwed us out of our prepaid reservation. As we were starting to drive away the manager ran out and said that they had an vacant room after all. At no time did they offer to reimburse us for the first night that we paid for and that they rented to someone else. So they sold the same room twice. I have filed a complaint with Best Western and am waiting to hear back from this hotel ownership.

The ample free breakfast in a roomy dining area was a plus after a restful sleep. A short stroll to a local bowling club for a good meal and music. Owners go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

What a find. Clean, quiet, easy to find & continental breakfast included. You won't go hungry. Beds are very comfortable, we had a king in a ground floor room. The managers are very accommodating & will assist in any way. Taxis are easy to book & about a 15 min journey to the airport or take the shuttle bus. If you want to go to the city you catch a train from nearby.

We were joining a cruise from Portside and selected this motel as it was well rated and close to the Cruise Terminal. We were allocated a upstairs room which required carrying out luggage up the stairs. Lucky for me a staff member came to my assistance. Parking for cars is not allocated and is on a first come first served basis. The room was very quite, spacious and had a king size bed. All this made for a great nights sleep. Breakfast is included and consists the normal Continental style breakfast selections. Just right to send us on our way for the day. I would definitely stay here again.

Located about 10 minutes from the airport, and in a quite side road. Rooms were clean with modern furniture. Breakfast available, but no evening meal. Railway station oppersite, and good restaurant 5 minutes away. Harbour/shope etc 15 minutes walk away.

I booked a room for 3 adults to stay for a night to catch a connecting international flight. I was impressed by the room's cleanliness and found the bed cormfortable. The location was very quiet and Doomben railway station across the road. Restuarants weren't too far away but required a decent walk of 20 minutes plus. There were no beers in the mini fridge which would have been nice. Bathroom was clean and modern enough. Missed out on the breakfast because it only opened 7 a.m. on a Saturday which wasn't relayed to me so that was a shame. In all a happy customer for the price.

Well where do u start I travel often, From the booking to the arrival at the motel . The greeting by the owners was very welcoming. So friendly genuine service treated like a real person instead of a number. Room was very clean and very quiet . If you arrive at this place after 8:00 in the evening the reception is closed. You have to pick up a phone and talk with someone who wants your credit card first to secure the room which is a little uncomfortable not knowing who you are talking with! The room had a very strong cleaner smell that gave me a headache. The air-conditioner also had a smell so we had to turn it off even though it was hot outside. The room was very dated but one thing in its favor is the sheets were nice and clean. The next morning the receptionist was friendly but we left early and didn't even stay for breakfast. We paid way more than we should have for the quality of the room

We arrived way too early after embarking a cruise, and were met by sympathetic Dave and Denise. We were given a cup of tea and a seat outside in the shade, while our room was made available! We were lucky to get the triple bedded room, but felt that perhaps two beds would have been more comfortable within the space. The room itself as very clean and tidy, and the beds comfy! The breakfast that was included for the first 2 people per booking was adequate with fruit, yoghurt, cereal, juice, toast and tea and coffee. We made full use of the lovely pool as well, and have to say that all staff we met were wonderful, cheerful and helpful. Would stay here again - so handy for cruise ships arriving/departing Brisbane! We paid $15 for a 10 min. taxi from the wharf and pre-booked a 15min. shuttle to the airport the next morning. All went smoothly..

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, and obviously recently remodeled. The staff was fantastic and went way above anything expected to help us at every turn. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for convenience, comfort and excellent service!

Exactly what was required. Close to the airport and hire car companies. We were able to check in and drop off our luggage well before check in time. Clean, tidy and easy access. Id recommend this hotel for anyone.

This hotel is located in a great little neighborhood within walking distance of many good little restaurants. Also available are grocery store, pharmacy/drug store and other services. The breakfast was adequate. The grounds are well appointed and maintained. The host is an absolute hoot and was very fun to talk to. Perfect for a one night layover at the Brisbane Airport.

We stayed here for just 1 night after a 24 hour journey from Scotland, it is just 10 minutes from the airport by taxi and we were pleasantly surprised, the rooms are a good size and well appointed, we had a table & 2 chairs , large flat screen TV, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge with a minibar and by far the biggest and most comfortable bed I have ever had, Included in our room price was a continental breakfast.

We stayed here prior to meeting family flying in from overseas. The location was perfect for this purpose and was extremely well fitted out for a short stay and the room was spotless & extremely comfortable. The location was quiet & peaceful despite being only 2 blocks from Nudgee Rd. Its location is within easy walking distance to both Eagle Farm & Doomben racecourses as well as the Racecourse Rd café precinct. There was the added benefit of being directly opposite the Doomben railway station which gave us ready access to the city. The included continental breakfast was well provided and available in the garden setting at the front.

Very clean. Fluffy towels, comfy beds. Everything in the room you need. Hairdryer, large mirrors, kettle, tv, safe, milk in fridge. Reasonably quiet, bathroom a bit small & parking tight. Breakfast finishes at 8.30am.

This is a very small drive in motel. Certainly tricked by the Best Western sign. However small and basic, the staff were wonderful and made up for the let down. The rooms are sparse but clean. Location is close to airport but too far from city center. Overnighting for an early morning flight is the only reason to stay here.

We stayed at this motel due to its location near the airport for 2 one night stays. Its location was great with lots of amenities and shops close at hand. One huge bonus for the motel is the railway station across the road. Travel into central Brisbane would have been so easy if we were staying longer. The managers of this motel are totally lovely and extremely helpful. The included breakfast was basic but extremely nice and well presented. The room was perfect in every way. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Stayed the night before our trip with my family, smooth, efficient & friendly check in on arrival. The room was spotlessly clean & comfortable. Its location is ideal for the airport & access to the city. Staff were very helpful & knowledgeable regards to local restaurants which were only a short distance away. Best Western started well, easy trip from Brisbane airport and with a rather late arrival keys and entry to room was done with ease. However room was dirty, didn't seem to have had a vac, thick dust along carpet, walls marked and to top it off starting itching after 20 mins in the bed and had a rash over most of my arms and legs. Convenient overnight stay, but not clean !

Stayed here due to proximity to the airport before an early flight. The facility is somewhat dated but the rooms are adequate for a one night stay. It was about $ 23 to cab to the airport in the morning. Getting to the hotel from the airport via trains took about an hour due to having to change lines at eagle station and it would have been Cheeper to cab than for 2 of us to train. (Wish we had known). Not a lot around the hotel for meals and activities unless your into horse racing. Prices downtown are less without the ne d tochange limes on the train n if taking transit. So if staying for a night and need an adequate spot a short cab rid away this would work well. If staying longer would recommend the Meriton Herschel street 2 blocks from Roma station with all the amenities and sometimes a lower price.

We wanted a nights rest after arriving at Brisbane airport at 10.30pm and found Airport 85 was perfect for our needs. It was almost midnight when we arrived, and it was easy to check in: there was a room key in a safety deposit box for us. Our room was clean and quiet (no traffic or airport noise). Breakfast was served from 7am and the staff were really helpful in giving us tips on tourist attractions, advice and maps for driving around, and even where to get cheap parking in Brisbane CBD.

Very good standard of accommodation and relatively close to the airport.About $22 for taxi to airport.Good pub food available at the Gallopers Bowls club nearby.Check in staff very helpful.Ideal for an overnight stay.

Excellent location to Airport and well maintained property. It is quiet from traffic noise and has very comfortable rooms. The swimming pool is a bit cold but that makes it refreshing.. We would stay there again.

Stayed for two nights white in transit to Roma from the UK. Arrived late at night and reception was closed but there is a phone on the wall. Just press the button and your put through to someone who will give you the safe code to retrieve your key. Safe is to the right hand side of reception door. Although there are signs up saying please be quite as other guests are sleeping some do still drag the bags across the rough floor with the cases with wheels. It does tend to echo in the little court yard. Room was basic but pleasant. Did smell a little like dirty old clothes but not too bad. Bathroom a good size but the best thing is the bed was really comfortable. Along with the key, you get a free breakfast voucher for two people. It's a continental style with tea, coffee, a choice of juices, yogurt, fruit, cereal and toast. Just help yourself. Quite tasty and plenty of it. The lady in reception was very nice and helpful. She advised me where to eat in the evening and having no car, I was relying on things nearby. They have a new map which is vey helpful. This shows all the restaurants in the Ascot area. I settled on a the bowling club a very short walk to the end of the street and turn left. Good food quick service and very friendly. On the Sunday again the lady was very helpful when checking out and showed me that on the phone there are two Taxis you can call. By the phone is a reference number for each company to get to a better rate to the airport. All in I would stay again for a night or two perfect location for airport if it's a quick stop over.

Small motel in middle of residential area. 4 miles from Airport in Brisbane. Clean and everything works. Lots of counter space. The couple that owns it are very friendly and and helpful. If you want a resort this is not it.

Stayed overnight, the location was very handy to the airport. We arrived after the office had closed for the evening & check in was well organised with key & paperwork in the safe. The owners are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. The motel was located in a nice quiet area. The breakfast was great too and convenient as we needed to get on the road so we didn't have to stop on the way. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

this place is perfect for if you've arrived late in from the airport or you need a quick stay before you fly. although not the flashes of places, everything is clean and tidy. the beds are a bit soft and sunken in for my liking but it's perfectly adequate for 1 night

Stayed overnight with husband and 3 children. Arrived in at midnight and check in was well organised with key in safe etc. The owner is fantastic, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean, well equipped. Couldn't have asked for more.

This hotel gets good reviews... It depends what you are looking for. It is not a pleasant part of town. But the biggest issue for us was the smell of toilet deodorant in the bed room. Was very overpowering. So much so we left.... ( it looked clean and fine otherwise)

Position was so convenient to airport and transport to city.. Rooms were comfortable and included breakfast was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful. On the downside, there was no easy access to eateries for an evening meal, especially when not travelling by car and with young children. Venue was very clean and tidy.

We stayed one night in the family room because of its close proximity to the airport. The hotel was very easy to find. The room was basic but clean and comfortable and a good size for 2 adults and 2 children. There was a mini kitchenette in the room which could be handy for those staying longer. Breakfast was basic but had everything we wanted so can't complain. Checking in was super easy and the owners/managers were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for those needing accommodation near the airport.

We stayed one night with our 3 children after a late evening arrival into Brisbane from NZ. Late check in was easy to arrange, the room was clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast (for 2 people) was very nice. Good option if you are coming or going from Brisbane Airport.

We decided to use this motel because of proximity to airport. We were positvely surprised by a motel with hotel standards. The room was large and clean and a self service mini Kitchen. Wifi was excellent throughout the complex. Very nice pool.Small continental breakfast included.Late arrival was arranged through Office phone and keysafe. Perfect.Very helpful staff. 5 min walk to an ok sports cafe. 10-15 minutes walk to Racecourse Road With lot of restaurants etc. Walking totally 30 minuytes you are riverside and can use the ferry to Central Brisbane or you may use bus or Queensland rail stopping NeXT door to hotel. Fixed taxi fare 22AUD to airport.

We stayed overnight before an early flight out of Brisbane Airport. We did not have breakfast which I believe is complementary as we had to leave too early. Nice and handy to airport and cruise terminal - we will be staying again if we ever have early flights etc.

Room was fine and breakfast included but a bit overpriced compared to similar motels at which we stayed. The location is a bit remote from facilities if you did not have your own transport. Staff very friendly and amenable.

Room is good equipped, bathroom is very nice. A friendly and supporting staff. Included breakfast is called "light, but It contains everything needed. We stayed just one night, just for a stop over. Would choose again.

Stayed here for one night as we had an early flight, the lady at reception, Christine, was first class. We checked In very early and were given an upgrade. Christine was full of useful info about the hotel, neighbourhood and best way to get to the airport. Not the biggest of hotels. Clean fresh and very comfy bed, what more can you ask for.

We used this motel because after a 30 hour journey from the uk we just wanted to get some sleep when we arrived. It is only 10 mins in a taxi ride from the airport about $25 but just across the road from the motel is the train station with excellent links to the city for a family ticket 2+2 it was $16 Great hotel for the price we paid clean and fresh with a huge bed with memory foam mattress and bunk beds. We didn't use the pool or the free breakfast so I can't comment.

Location is very close to the airport. Train directly across the road, that runs regularly. It does stop at 8 pm. On a busy road, traffic was much lighter in the evening. Building is definitely older looking than the pictures. Room was clean, as was bathroom and towels. When I checked in (around 3 -3:30 pm) the door was open to allow ventilation. Even though every thing was clean, there was a smell of toilet/sewage? This was not just me who noticed this, as I was dropped of by relatives, who noticed this too. It either dissipated or I got used to it, as I turned on the bathroom fan, and had the front and back door open. I had been upgraded to a family room, that had a King bed and a top and bottom bunk bed, which partly obscured the outdoor light coming in, so the room was a bit dark. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was a standard continental style. Would actually rate as 2.5, but the half star is not an option. Nowhere near the 4 star, it was given, when I looked at the options.

These would have to be 2 of the rudest people. They make out to be friendly but offer no assistance or help at all. The woman at the desk (female manager) tries to say everyone else is a liar or that Bookings.com are no good and don't give her the information. Our friend had prebooked with Bookings.com for an early arrival - the female manager denied having those details even though my friend showed her the confirmation email and Airport 85 had the booking and payment. There were 6 of us and we asked if we could then have a room for an hour to change and pay cash, there were several rooms unused but they declined, the male manager informed me how he doubles or more the cost of wine he purchases at Dan Murphy's but the own does not - he only adds a couple of dollars which the manager said is stupid. You book for 4 people and pay for 4 people in a room but only get breakfast for 2, we were offered no free wifi. There is no sign on the cafe door to say the times so we arrived at 905am Sunday morning to be told that breakfast was over and we could not have anything to eat (cafe closes at 9am) hey put a sign on the main door not inside the cafe behind blinds. We ended up going down to Airway Motel which is a short 2 minute walk down the street and they accommodated us to a room for an hour so we could all change and get ready to go out - cash payment and they were so friendly so stay at Airway Motel instead next time. We took our bags back to 85 and later that night the male manager tried to say that they got a room ready at 10am for us and he tried to chase us up the road but we had gone. Lies as we were at our function at 930am and he knew our bags were in the lobby. The next morning on check out the female manager told us to use the free taxi phone and quote a number to get a fixed fare of $37.90 to the airport - I rang the taxi and quoted the number given but the girl said they don't know what that means and that they do not do "fixed fares" with Airport 85...I hung up and told the female manager who came out of the office yelling "they are lies they do I used it 2 weeks ago, they are lying"....that was scary - we got out maxi cab which cost $39.60 so I don't think the "fixed fare" was saving the 6 of us too much money. The motel managers just constantly blamed the Owner, Bookings.com, the taxi company for the poor service and their personalities. Tip would be to avoid this motel and use the Airway Motel 2 minutes up the road for a much nicer friendly welcoming business.

Chose this because only 10 minutes drive from the airport; had a king size bed which was very comfortable; had trouble with the pillows as they were too high and firm; friendly efficient check-in; shower has minimal water pressure so was a bit dismal; very noisy fan in the bathroom which was also the light which makes for disruptive midnight toilet visits! free continental breakfast was available but we left very early; no dinner available but an easy 10 minute level walk to the Gallopers Restaurant at the Bowls Club which had great food and was warm and well appointed.

I stayed over to catch an early flight as this hotel is close to the airport; $28.00 taxi fare. I phoned ahead to advise that I would be checking in very late and was pleased to find an easy access key safe, clean room & comfortable bed. I was a bit disappointed not to be able to order bacon & eggs for brekky as they offer continental only breakfast which was nicely presented. Very friendly staff who assisted with taxi info & wished me well on my travels.

We decided to stay at Best Western Airport 85 motel so that we could get to the airport instead of being stuck in traffic on the Gateway Motorway, and we were so glad we did. We had a lovely big room with a very comfortable king size bed and the proprietors gave us ideas for takeaway dinner. They also sell a few beers and soft drinks so you don't have to leave the room. They serve a very nice complimentary continental breakfast and have a phone link to a taxi pickup to get us to the airport. We arrived at the airport in good time so that we could arrive in Sydney to be picked up for an 18 day cruise to Honolulu with Carnival, which was also an excellent experience.

Room was basic but clean. Wasn't advised that breakfast was only from 6:30-8:30am so went down at 9am and kitchen lady was very rude! She wouldn't even give me a bit of bread! Man at reception was very friendly and apologised but after getting off a 24 hour flight with limited sleep, it was very frustrating!

We booked this motel through Qantas as a pre night stay to our overseas trip. The room was spacious with a king & single bed, 2 tub chairs, table, desk and another straight backed chair. The wardrobe housed plenty of hanging space, a safe, microwave, mini fridge, tea/coffee makinf facilities, available for purchase were noodle cups, as well as the usual assortment of chip/drinks etc. The bathroom had a large shower, vanity and toilet, a little more spacious than the norm. Shampoo/conditioner/soap were all supplied. The room had a back door with a pathway leading to an outdoor bbq area, which was a pleasant addition. A continental breakfast was included, which was quite adequate. The motel is situated across the road from Doomben railway station, but this only operates business hrs and is an end of line stop. The motel is in a very quiet street, so no noise except those leaving in the early hours to make their way to the international terminal. All in all a great stay, and we will stay here again when we need an overnight before/after a flight.

Clean and basic room. Friendly service. Not far from a street with number of really nice restaurants…..We were literally there overnight, but it impressed as a good place to hang out round the pool too.

I haven't actually stayed at the motel as yet. However my initial contact with them was SO helpful! I just got off the phone with them and was blown away by the service. The lady I talked with took my booking without having to use the Internet. Love personalised service! Thank you!

Close to the airport so nice and convenient if like us you have an early morning check in. There is a bowls club down the road for nice, cheap, family friendly meals. The room is basic and quite a tight fit if there are 5 of you!!! We checked out too early to get the breakfast, but staff were helpful when we asked about buses to the city. Its pretty basic and a bit shabby but Ok for a quick overnight stay.

I stayed at this hotel for one night to recover from jetlag (having been on airplanes for 20+ hours before arriving at Brisbane) before continuing onto Melbourne (where my tour was to begin). The hotel is only about 10 or 15 minutes from the airport, was very clean and quiet. Additionally, the hotel was very gracious in providing information and help via email before I arrived. Just what I was looking for - a great place to get a good night's sleep before finishing my air travel to Melbourne.

Nice easy place to stay. Only had an over nighter which we found was handy distance to the airport and easy to get out of Brisbane the next day. We did self checkin after midnight with no issues (just let them know before hand). Breakfast was nice and simple and very friendly staff. Good size family room with bunks and room for port a cot.

Excellent room. Comfortable bed. Friendly managers. Reasonable breakfast. But beware, there are at least TWO places with the same address - 40 Lamington Ave. If you are not familiar with Brisbane and if you are using sat navigation make sure you find the one in Ascot! Not like us and at least one other person! Oh, and don't arrive late. After the office shuts, you will be reliant on the after hours telephone service to get access to your key. We waited over 45 minutes for them to respond - and we weren't alone. And the phone on the wall didn't work either - we had to use a mobile. As we had just arrived from Singapore and hadn't yet got an Australian SIM we had to borrow a phone from another guest. Allegedly, response time should be 2 or 3 minutes. If that is the case, we were just unlucky. However, it's enough to put us off this motel for our next visit. Beware.

Very good location : close to airport and train station. Very quiet environment ! Close to Hamilton Eat street market (open on Fri and Sat only) for fanny food and dockside wharf for fine dining. There is a supermarket in Dockside wharf as well.

Really friendly, rooms modern and tidy and came with 2 continental breakfast. Bed was very comfy if you like soft beds. Only negative was a noisey air con inside may need a service and fridge, once we put ear plugs in no issue. Priced at $195 seemed high for the room but maybe comparable to the area due to only being 10mins from airport. Would stay again......

Friendly & tried to accommodate to our needs, just need an easier way to get suitcases up the stairs. convenient location for the airport, clean, comfortable, made use of the tea & coffee available in the room.

Great place to stay! Hosts very friendly and it is obvious that their customers matter. Will stay at this place again if I am traveling to Brisbane. Breakfast was fun! Easy to get around to little cafes and to and from the Airport!

Staff was very friendly, room was very nice and great location being near the airport! Loved the free breakfast and wifi. Fairly good pricing for the room. Wish there was a fitness room. But an outdoor pool was available.

The Airport 85 Motel was clean, had free parking, AND free Wifi; it also offered a continental breakfast included in the price. Managers were friendly and happy to help guests. Great to have a pool on the premises to cool off too.

Clean, friendly, pleasant surroundings, nice breakfast. WiFi was great. Only problem was carting our luggage up the outside stairs to our second floor room. If you have heavy suitcases, it is a good idea to request an downstairs room when booking. Good location -- pleasant walk to the shops by the racecourse, where we had a very good lunch. Handy to the airport and within reasonable distance to the cruise ship terminal. (The taxi ride to the terminal was $65, while the shuttle from the airport cost $22.)

excellent location, directly across the road from Doomben railway 30 minutes into centre or a 20 minute stroll to the local warf with great eateries and a local friendly shop. hotel was basic but met our needs, disappointed to have had breakfast included to then be told on arrival it was only for 2 guest and the rest had to pay $12, you are cheaper eating in town. as it was cereal fruit and toast on offer this did not suit the party as we are gluten and dairy intolerant.

This was the worst hotel we stayed in on our 5 month trip because of the off hand and rude service. We had asked if we could leave some cases for a few days and were assured this would be no problem. When we arrived we were told in a very rude and off hand way that this was no longer possible - no explanation was given and the lady seemed to find it rather funny,

Our room was immaculate, and the owners attended to all of our needs and answered all of our questions. They could not have been more accomodating. We did our own cooking and so it was handy to have the bar b q right there. Also a nice breky included with the room. Close to shopping, restaurants within walking distance and the train station across the street was awesome. The bus has a stop within 1/2 block. We spent 2 nights and were very happy with everything.

Very comfortable stay, very quiet and the team were very welcoming. The unit was very clean. Breakfast was a nice touch and a good way to start the day, Would stay here again if needing to be near the airport. The motel also had a nice looking pool, unfortunately I did not have time to use.

We booked this hotel for one night so we could get our flight the next day, it says on the email that they do close check in at 8pm, i think this is a bit of an inconvenience especially as its an airport hotel and people have flights at all different times, we had trouble getting our bags so we ran a bit late so i rang the hotel and they managed to keep it open til we got there which was nice of them. The rooms are clean, spacious and the showers are really good just what you need after a long flight! The room rate included breakfast, tea, coffee, cereal, bread, fruit etc. The man on breakfast was lovely i didn't get his name but he was so friendly and a real credit to the hotel! We checked out at 10am and our flight wasn't til 11.45pm so we had a long wait ahead of us we asked if we could stay by the pool all day and that was fine they even looked after our suitcases for us which was great. However, they don't have any downstairs bathrooms so we only ended up staying there for a little while until we needed the toilet and unfortunately had to stay at the airport for hours. The hotel doesnt include lifts but it does include free wifi. Other than that it was a pleasant stay, lovely staff, beds are comfy, room is clean would stay there again for an overnight stay.

Clean Comfortable rooms, lovely big bed. Continental Breakfast great way to start the day and the train station across the road gets you to the City. Convenient to the airport, cost me $12 by uber to get to the airport the next day. This trip has cost me between $20 and $50 by taxi in the past! The office staff helped drag my bag upstairs, for which I was grateful.

We arrived into Brisbane in the late evening and this motel did exactly as it stated on the tin. It provided clean, no-frills, inexpensive accommodation close to the airport allowing me to be there for an 07:45 flight without any hassles or worry. The lovely owners both booked us a cab for our transfer at the time we checked in and opened breakfast for us promptly at 06:30hrs so we could grab a bite before heading off. The room was spacious, clean and the bathroom spotless and bright in white. The air conditioning cooled the room well although it could have done with a service to remove an annoying squeak on the fan blades. There's a swimming pool in the grounds but I never had a chance to use it.... it appeared clean and well maintained. If you are after a luxury hotel, this is not for you. If you want somewhere inexpensive to stay for a night that is clean, spacious and unpretentious this ticks the box.

Very good motel. The room was very good and the bad was very comfortable. In the motel there is a laundery wich is open untii 8 pm The motel is very near to airport and is very good for people who fly early morning!

I booked for 3 singles and presummed breakfast would be included for all of us - not the case also in the room only blankets for 2 beds. The smell in the room was overpowering from the carpet cleaner, powder that we all ended up with a bad case of hay fever, started sneezing and weezing from when we walked in the door until we left wouldn't stay there again

Very neat, comfortable room, pillows were a little big so we used the small ones ( i am fussy with pillows) The staff were helpful and friendly. Good standard breakfast included in room, Happy hour drinks 4-6pm.Opposite the train station (not noisy ) Good area to airport and back through to eatery's at the Gasworks Plaza.

This is a very basic hotel near to the airport. Clean, basic and with free parking and free wifi. It's a cheap reliable motel before catching a flight and not much more. There are some restaurants a short drive away.

One overnight stop after flying from London to Brisbane room and facilities were ideal. Checked in very late but everything was made very easy. Don't forget breakfast ends at 8:30am. We missed it! Parking on site very near the rooms. Very well maintained.

This modern BW is in a great location ten minutes from the airport. It has a nice pool and they offer complementary breakfast in the morning. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with AC and two beds, and a great shower. All in all a very good place to stay and the owners are terrifically helpful.

A good sized room, well fitted out. A bit disappointed that the fourth bed was a roll away. That was not mentioned in the hotel description. Overall a pleasant stay but not necessarily value for money!

Nice tidy rooms, in a good area close to airport and ship terminal would definantly stay there next visit to Brisbane, our room was upgraded for no extra charge so that was a bonus very happy with our stay!!!

Room: Clean, spacious but a little dinghy Staff: very friendly, very helpful and overall will be the only reason I will be going back to this inn Location: 15mins to the airport by car. There's a train station in front of the property but I didn't use it so I have no idea how long it will take the trip to the city. Food: they serve complimentary breakfast of bread, cereals, coffee and juices. Nearby RSL is walking distance about two blocks away but I wouldn't really recommend the food there. Other notes: I stayed in the ground floor and I can hear every movement and cough of the person occupying the floor on top of me.

Was not bad for an overnight stay and close to the airport as we had to catch an early morning flight. Breakfast was continental and good.Staff were nice and helpful. Went to the eat night market for dinner and you could walk there. Would go there again.

Motels seem to be the norm in this district. Cheaper than the on airport hotels, this Best Western property is ideally situated next to a railway station. From here you can get right into the city centre in about 20 minutes. It is also close to the airport for early morning flights. The room was excellent, very clean and well provisioned with the usual tourist amenities. Checkin and checkout was very efficient, we just dropped the keys off in the morning as the office wasn't open. The area was very quiet, and the bed was large and comfortable. We used Uber for our lift to the airport as this turned out to be the cheapest option. Would I recommend this motel for a quick stopover? Definitely.

Very plaisant stay and very efficient staff. We were four (my wife, a kid of 5 years old and a baby of 6 months and me). We have decided to stay only one night because we came from Noosaheads and our fligth was very early. Warm wellcome of the staff and the room was like we hoped. The motel is very close to the airport. It was the good choice for one night.

Conveniently situated half way between the two, this property is good value for money. The breakfast has not a lot of variety, but is nicely presented and enough to keep you going for a while. No paper plates and plastic cutlery as experienced in other BW hotels. Clean and comfy rooms, with little kitchenette a big bonus.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast in the tea room was lovely and more than enough. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Very handy to the airport and wharf.

GOOD room and helpful service from managers. Excellent club nearby for evening meals.A light breakfast is provided as part of the deal which we found useful. In addition we were given sound advice about transport links and cost implications. If needed we will defiantly re -use this motel.

Worst BW in my life! Ridiculous space at bedroom and bathroom! Small spaces at carpark. Weak internet and noisy air conditioner!! First and last time 10 minutes by car to Brisbane Airport, be careful with traffic at rush hours

I recently stayed for A night with my family our stay was ok but the advertising is not impressive 1 free wifi n/a airport shuttle n/a breakfast abysmal, not child friendly! If you book with a child surely a cot shouldn't be charged extra!?

Small, unattended and the toilet / shower isn't nice i.e. old, yellow and smelly. You'll need to turn the aircon off if you intend to sleep there. If you've served in the army, or spent time in a medium security prison, you'll be ok.

I had a great stay here. The hosts were so helpful and accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble - they also sell items you may need e.g. toiletries, ready-meals and drinks, which was perfect as I had not packed my toothbrush. The location is also good for accessing cafe's and restaurants within walking distance.

Location is great for the airport although equally for the travelling road holiday. Staff very helpful. Rooms are a good size and clean / comfortable. If you have a little more time there is a pool which is private to guests. Good value if needed accommodation in area would use again.

A really nice place. We arrived late on the 31st December and stayed overnight. Very convenient to the airport, and there are some really nice shops and restaurants on the river a five minute drive away. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. My only problem was that they charged my credit card without asking me first (doing so attracts an extra fee), however when I complained they were quick to remedy the situation by reversing the payment and letting me pay by Eftpos (debit card).

Friendly reception at what appears a fairly basic motel. However the ground floor room that we stayed in was very clean and well equipped. Free parking in courtyard area though you might not always get car directly outside your room. There is a small but nice pool and seating area. Overall a good one night stop pre flight. Not a lot of eating options really close but there is a microwave in room. Downside was the hopeless wifi.

The price was fantastic, the facilities were clean and well looked after (the kids especially loved the pool), and the owners/staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful - what more could you want! The buffet continental breakfast in the tea room was a great bonus.

My room was a good size and spotlessly clean. The gardens, pool and sitting/barbecue areas were very attractive. It is a perfect location for people flying out early with an efficient wake up call system and the cab company used arriving dead on time.

This is a great little motel in a convenient location to the airport and eateries. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It has very clean and modern rooms with great beds. Good value for money. I'll be staying at this motel again in the future.

We only stayed one night - got there late - 8pm and left early for the airport but would have quite happily stayed longer. Friendly staff, excellent rooms - clean, modern, nice features and extras. Pool area looked nice. Free breakfast was welcome although not much but adequate.

Arrived after hours and the directions to get into my room was accurate. Wished I could've been on a lower floor since after 30 hours of traveling to carry up 2 heavy bags was a bit of a hassle. Also would have liked to have had the a/c on a little since it was registering almost 90 degrees in the room. Woke up to a simple breakfast and was picked up as scheduled to make my way down to queensland/gold coast. If you buy cancelable room, keep checking closer to your arrival date and you can probably save some good $$$.

My family of 4 used this motel as a say over so we could fly out of Brisbane airport early the next morning. It was easy to find and in a good location, clean and the mangers were friendly, helpful and kind. An excellent and relaxing place to start our overseas holiday.

the worst accomodation we had in Australia during our 25 days trup;175 AUD for such a room was really exaggerated and not worth the money , room was extremely small, next to the loundry, throught the internal door we heard every word from next room, breakfast lousy, wifi did not work, aircondition slow and week

I am on a months holiday with my partner and child, we stopped over at the best western for one night after landing from an evening flight. Very clean, tidy and welcoming. Breakfast is pleasant and the people are very friendly and easy going. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped here from northern Queensland going to Sydney for a night. Its very late and no receptionist in the office but they have phone right in front of the reception office for us to contact the in charge and my husband talked to her and via phone communication we got room they have small secured box for room keys ready for new guests so my husband got us a room it's spacious and clean very comfortable and complete with proper facilities and amenities. The only complained we have about thus hotel is the noise in the morning we're still asleep and woken up by people in the kitchen which is next to our room talking to loudy... over all it's good..

Nice welcome, all very clean but our unit ( unit 6) was at the end of the building between 2 blocks, very dark and claustrophobic. I booked through booking.com and wonder if we were given the worst unit in the complex because of the reduced rate. breakfast available early. Nice pool area to refresh on a hot day. Handy for airport and central Brisbane.

An exceptional motel of the highest standard. King size bed, mini bar, complimentary continental breakfast. In a back street behind Kingsford Smith Dr so no traffic noise etc. Will be staying here from now on when flying in or out of Brisbane.

Was a great little stay & was quick & handy. The car park was full and we found it hard to move around in the little space but breaky was handy! Room was very clean and neat. Was a little difficult to have the spare bed at the front door, had to pull it in and out every time we wanted to walk outside.

8.5km from airport, good late check in system with well lit courtyard. Room & bathroom very clean. King bed & single. Bed was very comfortable. Nice size room with well kept furniture. Continal breakfast was adequate. Building well kept & grounds well maintained. $150ish was a reasonable price booked through Booking.com.

The Owner/Manager was very helpful and had time to chat to us over breakfast. Our room was downstairs and handy to the laundry. Walking distance to portside if you are boarding a cruise. The motel was booked out and this made breakfast a little difficult for all patrons to be seated inside.

Great customer service friendly and helpful. Nice pool too. Nice TV. Nice shower. Comfortable mattress and bed. Recommended if you are looking for a quick place to stay with kids near the airport or on the way to Sunshine Coast.

Location is a few minutes from the airport, arrived in the middle of the night and had to wait for a while for check-in. Instructions were clear enough, to use the telephone outside the reception to call the operator. Operator took quite a while before answering, but after that all was smooth. Stayed only for a night but room was spacious and clean. Okay for a short stay.

We stayed in a family room. Had a queen bed, bunks and a trundle, all very comfortable and clean. close to the airport with easy access. No undercover parking or allocated parking. Quite a busy place and near the train station but not very noisy.

My daughter & I just spent an overnight here whilst in transit. It was clean, comfortable and suited our needs. The beds were super comfy. The location was excellent for easy access to the freeways and there were plenty of dining options very close by. The hosts were wonderful.

Our flight arrived late and after picking up rental car the motel was easily found. I had prearranged late check in due to our flight. This was dealt with efficiently. The room was as expected, no frills, but clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for late/early airport transfers.

Nice, clean and modern, reasonable priced and located near a beautiful little shopping stretch - plenty of places to eat. Not too far from the city. If you don't get there early enough though parking can be a bit of an issue. Hosts lovely.

I only stayed one night, but found the hotel well appointed comfortable and the managers and staff very very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was also very nice with plenty of choice. I would gladly stay there again.

The bed was so comfortable and the continental breaky was a bonus .Walking distance to great restaurants at the Brisbane docks . The staff were very helpful and courteous would recommend this motel to all .

Clean motel, lovely large king bed, shower head fell down once water was turned on but I think I tightened it up but should be checked (mgt. rm 14 ) close to BAP (parking) which was convenient. Didn't get to try continental breakfast as I left early . The windows were not very soundproof as you can hear people talking in carpark coming and going through night due being an airport hotel . Pool area includes a friendly possum.

Great place to stay for airport convenience. Room was clean, comfortable with a few items for purchase in the fridge. Staff at check in were friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. WiFi and cable. Train close by for transport into other areas. Local supermarket, restaurants and café close by-10minute walk. (ask for directions from reception) If you do not want to carry suitcase upstairs request ground floor at time of booking.

Nicely renovated rooms with King Size Bed. Very comfortable. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the convenience of being so close to Brisbane Airport but not really knowing it. Also really close to excellent eating houses in Racecourse Rd Ascot.

For an overnight stay, I had to take a cab from the airport and it took a long (and unusual) 20 minutes. You may find others hotels closer to the airport. Also be mindful that if you arrive late, the only food option you have is to walk 500m in the dark to the Racecourse (Gallopers). The service was friendly but there is nothing too fancy in this motel. Quiet expensive for late booking regarding the room quality.

Free parking. Hotel is a little odd. You park facing the sliding glass doors, not regular entry door. Key lock for both, so you can enter in either way. Bathroom so / so. Beds were fine. Lots of plugs. Restaurants 1km away. Good enough for 1 night before extremely early morning flight.

very helpful staff nice clean rooms did not hear the trains or traffic outside great pool area. Had a microware meal from hotel very tasty. Great if you are to lazy to go out for a meal. Rooms are modern and very clean nice to see rooms of that standard.

From the point of saving money, there are hotels closer to the airport than this one which are more expensive. We arrived around 10:30pm just before the hotel office closed and were able to get into our room without an issue. The proprietors seem quite helpful especially when we needed to use a mobile phone to change our flight reservations, provide extra room towels and information no local transport and restaurants. Spent 2 nights in room 15. The hotel, actually motel consists of 2 floors. There is no elevator and we had heavy suitcases but one of the staff actually helped us lift them up the 2 flights of stairs. Our room was clean and everything worked. The view was that of the parking lot but there was also a small balcony on which we could dry clothes. There is a washer and dryer on site and a pool. We enjoyed a simple continental breakfast from 630-830 of fruit, cereal, toast, juice in an uncluttered atmosphere. The hotel is located directly across from a train station and so you can take the train into town but not the airport as it is not connected. Unfortunately it is a costly cab ride to anyplace in Brisbane and it set us back $32 for the 5km cab trip one way! The first night we could hear the TV in the next room until about 11pm but otherwise slept very well. This room has a small table and 2 chairs, a queen bed and a single bed, desk and chair, adequate storage space, closet with 10 hangers, microwave, fridge, team making facilities, kitchen utensils (plates, silverware, glasses), 2 lamps and nightstands, good a/c controls, small flat screen TV and a safe. For US travelers there are Australian plugs and so you must carry an adapter for 110VAC appliances. There is a small takeaway next door and restaurants are a 20 minute walk from the hotel. WIFI is free and works great! We enjoyed our stay and had no problems.

Very clean, efficient room. Little extras to make you feel welcome and in a home away from home. Staff couldnt help us enough and were extremely friendly. Close to Airport and Cruise ship port and directly opposite a train station for easy access into the city.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The free continental breakfast was a great touch with various cereals, toast, spreads, fruits and juice & coffee. Amenities included a microwave, fridge, cutlery and cups, iron & ironing board, bar fridge with mini bar snacks and beverages (included, tea, coffee, decaf coffee etc). Additional drinks, snacks and alcohol also available for purchase from reception (when they're open). Soap, shampoo and conditioner was provided although the bathroom was very small with little space to move around and not many places to put things. If you get a room upstairs then you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs so be prepared for this. There was a swimming pool onsite and lots of outside tables for alfresco dining, and a designated smoker's gazebo. Free parking and close to the city. The TV wasn't that great, there was only 6 or so channels, but that wasn't a problem for us since we were always out during the day. The rooms were very clean and tidy, however our room was a bit too small for our needs - there was 3 of us, the room had 3 single beds but was small and poorly laid out, there was a large table in the way which made walking around the room very difficult. Would not recommend this particular layout, but the other rooms seemed fine. most rooms have a balcony, but ours didn't. Would definitely stay there again as it is in a very convenient location at only 5-10 mins from the airport.

Inconsiderate management. Thoughtless. Breakfast is the least possible. They put you in an upstairs room when you check in after midnight, and there's no lift....... they charge $25 per hour after 10am to have a late check-out, even if you check in after midnight... Left a bad taste in the mouth, and the wet paint everywhere was not responsible for that. Safe was locked and did not work as per instructions. It was clean. The bed was decent.

Extremely unhappy! Don't book this hotel especially if you are going to the airport... they offer absolutely no leeway! I had issues with my son's passport and unfortunately couldnt stay the date intended so tried to change the booking to a different date... it was slightly out of the 24 hour period so they took 170 plus wanted to charge me an additional 150! I was happy to pay an additional but not 150... absolute joke! Obviously they don't want returning customers. Absolutely no empathy.. I understand if we had cancelled the whole booking but this wasn't the case! I will be telling all friends, family, and all social media not to stay at this hotel! What money hungry horrible owners!

Close to airport if you have a early flight to Singapore. King bed meant we had an excellent sleep before early flight. Motel room faces the right way to get rising sun to make sure you do not sleep in with the sun beaming into the room

Very good hotel, excellent staff who were very helpful. Clean nice room which was great. Fungrande AC with wonderfully large windows. Close to the train that takes you into the Brisbane city for only a few dollars.

Stopped in here for a quick overnighter due to a late flight. Late check in was easy using the courtesy phone to het the safe combination where we obtained our key. Kristine and Greg are very nice and extremely helpful. Complimentary continental breakfast was great to have. We have a toddler with us and it was all easy. We got a cheaper room but it was very clean, had all we needed including a microwave, ironing, coffee/tea, fridge. Grounds are well maintained with a swimming pool. Airport is close to the airport and has a good half hourly shuttle. With traffic issues early Monday morning, we would have left 30 minutes earlier if we had known - also big queues at Virgin Australia. Facilities fine for overnight stay before an early morning flight.

Ideal for a one night stay between flights. The managers were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and the decor beer than expected. The airport was 10 to 15 minutes away -- the shuttle from the airport that stopped at the hotel and the morning taxi to the airport were a reasonable $25 Au each way. Wouln't hesitate to stay there again.

The accommodation is the best you can ask for and the management makes it easy for you to strongly recommend the motel for other tourists. The motel is ideally located for one looking for quiet and a peaceful environment with a shopping center a short walk away.

Lovely motel with beautiful complimentary breakfast. Staff very professional and friendly. Good value for money. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Only 15 minutes from airport. Across road from Railway Station.

Arrived at the motel shortly after 9pm. The office was closed, but on reception door had all information how to check in. After getting my key and instructions i had no problem finding my room. After a great sleep in a comfy bed and a great hot shower, strolled over to the breakfast room where i was greeted by one of the managers. The breakfast was all i needed to get me through the day and it was free. A quick swim in the pool before having to leave - what a great start for my day. Would i come and stay again? Yes, i would.

I was transferring between flights so I just wanted a hotel to stay at overnight near the airport. On booking.com, this is advertised as having a shuttle bus, so I thought that would be ideal and booked the hotel. I didn't realise that you had to book the shuttle bus in advance - it wasn't made clear at the time of booking. I called the hotel, expecting them to tell me which bus to catch, the reception was closed (at 8pm which is ridiculuoulsy early - we're in the 21st century), so I had to talk to someone at the Best Western in general. I had to get an expensive taxi, costing $39. I then asked about a shuttle bus in the morning - again they were willing to offer no assistance, so again I had to arrange a taxi for the morning, costing $31. The hotel isn't that close to the airport. Breakfast was just cereal, toast and jam - it does the job but a continental breakfast often includes ham or cheese, a crossiant a pastry and a boiled in my experience. I talked to the lady on reception in the morning and she said that she is at reception from 7am to 8pm. I suggested they should hire someone else to be there for a few more hours and she said it wasn't worth their while. At AUD$155 per night, I would expect better customer service with someone to welcome me in when I got there. I've had to pay $70 for taxis, so it has been a very expensive overnight stay. I noticed afterwards that perhaps I could have got there using 2 trains, but that wasn't pointed out to me. There also was no information book in the room on transport, hotel amenities or anything else. Usually hotels provide a book with these details. If you want somewhere convenient for the airport, you're better off picking a hotel near a train station on the airport line and it would probably be cheaper to stay there.

the worst hotel I ever visited, nobody at reception, we did not know where to find our room, absolutely terrible. there was no one to tell us how to find our room. we booked weeks in advance why did they not put is in a ground floor room, they were all un occupied. will never stay at BW again

We required a family room for a night near the airport. The managers were friendly and helpful and the rooms a decent size. The linen was clean as was the rest of the room. We initially thought the nearby train would be a noisy problem, but this was not the case. Shut the sliding door and the external noises disappeared. Breakfast was fine, juices, coffee tea, toast and cereals. Plenty of choices too. Limited vehicle parking, with no assigned bays, maybe an issue sometimes, luckily not for us. If you have heavy suitcases, try to pre-book a downstairs room.

We used the Best Western Airport 85 Motel only for an overnight stay and wanted to be close to the airport. The location was ideal, as the Connxion bus transfer took about 15 minutes. Reception was very friendly.The room was clean and had all the facilities we needed, even a microwave, crockery and cutlery. A comprehensive continental breakfast was included. We didn't travel to the city, but a train station right across the road should make this quite easy.

We arrived quite late at night and were so ready to fall into bed only to be met with a very hostile welcome all because we had requested a late check-out when we initially booked. We eventually worked out that we had to pay a little extra but that could have been done without all the hostility!

The hotel is listed as 4 star but it is a basic clean hotel which is fine for an overnight stay. There are no food places nearby. There is no free airport shuttle service. There is a train station and bus stop nearby.

Best Western Airport 85 is very handy to the Brisbane Airport as the name suggest, we stayed 1 night prior to flying out to Vanauta, rooms were very comfortable and the management were perfect host, would highly recommand.

Glad we only stayed 1 night the toilet smelt like pee and there were hairs on the sheets. Was a pain lugging all our suit cases up stairs for 1 night Other then that the bed was comfortable The pool looked out of use. The staff were friendly

Free wifi, close to airport, clean and friendly. Got there early and they let us check in at no charge. Is across the road from train station so easy to get around if you like to explore by train, we went to Australia zoo and into the CBD and then caught a cab back to hotel later. Great place to rest your head for one night when travelling through Brisbane and wanting to be close to airport before flight.

Stayed here prior to International Flight. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was clean & tidy with the added bonus of breakfast included. Walking distance to variety of restaurants & cafes. Will be back next time.

Nice accomodation, surprisingly quiet given the close proximity of the rail line. Spotlessly clean and roomy unit. Did not realise it was upstairs with elderly guest but managed ok anyway. Very good location for access to airport if you are traveling by car. Complimentary continental breakfast was a nice touch. Thanks for a lovely stay.

location is ok, car park is good, room is clean, a little expensive for the value, Soundproof is not so good, it is depending your neighbours, swimming pool seems not ready for use. Breakfast is ok. So I rate average.

Clean and convenient accommodation, reasonably close to Brisbane airport. Was within walking distance of reasonably good food choices. We chose Eat Street Market which was an entertaining place with plenty of excellent food.

Value for money, comfortable room. Very friendly staff. Arrived late due to delays, had to wait a little too long on hold for operator to advise safe code to get the key. Breakfast was a bonus, didn't realise it was included during the week. Would have allowed more time but an apple and a friendly chat made up for that.

Stayed recently for 1 night whilst on business. Nice sized room, tidy and modern, quiet location, friendly front-of-house staff. Short drive to restaurants in Ascot for dinner. Basic continental breakfast included in room rate. Will stay again if in area.

Our stay at the Best Western Airport 85 was a very pleasant one. The room was clean and had everything we needed after arriving from a longer flight, and the late check-in procedure worked fine. But what makes the difference to other standardized chain hotels was the staff, especially Greg and Kristine, who run the place. They were giving us helpful tips and advice on our further travels. While getting our rental car we were allowed to leave our luggage with them and Greg even gave us a styrofoam cooler that somebody had left in the room a couple of weeks ago for our trip through Australia. The location is great if you arrived at the Airport late and booked a car with Apex or Thrifty for the next day, as they have their stations close around. Clean, well maintained and handy to the airport. Parking and continental breakfast included was a bonus. Our room wasn't quite big enough for my family of 5. When the trundle bed was pulled out it was difficult to access the bunks. Fine for one night though

This is a good, clean motel close to the airport, comfortable beds and offering a continental breakfast as part of the price. Right near a railway station. An added bonus was having a microwave in the room and a pool. Hosts friendly and attentive.

We arrived on a late flight and thought a night near the airport would be better than a long drive. Found the motel ok and were quickly given access to the safe with our room keys via the reception phone (reception wasn't manned when we arrived). The room was nice and had everything we could have needed, tea, coffee, snacks, TV, Foxtel, shampoo, etc.. There were 2 adults and 3 kids in 1 room so a bit of a squeeze but with bunk-beds and a pull out bed together with a large king sized double we were all sorted. I expected some noise from the nearby rail track but honestly never heard it Breakfast was complimentary and was good, staff were excellent at keeping up with tidying away plates and topping up the supplies. Really couldn't fault this place for a budget motel for a couple of nights.

Good value for money, close to Brisbane Airport, which was great for our early morning fligh. The receptionist provided information to places for dinner. The room was comfy and clean. Internet was available and offered on arrival.
