Cheap and cheerful but rooms clean and got good nights sleep. Nice Belgium beer on tap and the food was excellent. Plenty of free parking and good breakfast to set you on your way. Good location out of town next to motorway.

Thanks à lot
To me, it seemed old and run down. But it served my purpose. But surprisingly the food was fantastic. The morning breakfast was enough to make me want to get up and be the first in line. And the evening meals was just as spectacular.
Spent just one night here. Hotel was easy to find, just off motorway and had ample parking. Our room was fine but the corridor leading to it was awful. Whoever the interior designer was they need shooting! It was like a dark prison corridor. We ate in the bar and watched France beat Belgium in the World Cup football tournament with the locals. Food was good and service excellent. The hotel does appear to be well out of the town. Didn't bother us as it was just a stopover. Not the "best" Best Western I've stayed at but good enough for us and the staff were friendly and helpful
Nothing fancy. The rooms are spacious but the quality is below average. My bed post lamps were not working, there was only one functional electricity socket available and it was not close to the bed. The area is very quiet. Getting there is a bit of a nightmare.Either you take a taxi from the train station or a bus or, like me you walk for half an hour. That being said, the rooms are clean. So don't expect anything special.
Good location and off-road parking. Restaurant menu is very limited. Easy access to motorway. Not recommended for more than 1 night. Quiet area. Rooms have coffee making facilities. Hand held shower heads instead of proper showers.
We stayed for one night and thankfully for that. The hotel is like a motel with no facilities. The corridors are like those seen in films that a prison based. They are dull and tired as well as being intimidating to be honest. The room was big but the bed was slipping on one and very uncomfortable. Staff were attentive and friendly thus all I can say that's positive about this place.
After visiting Metz Cathedral and Luxembourg American Cemetery, we wanted a place not too far from Bastogne to spend the night. Found the Best Western Hotel Arlux online and booked it. After all the tiny rooms and tiny bathrooms we have stayed in over the last three weeks in nine countries, this hotel was just what we needed. We reserved two triple rooms for the six of us. The rooms were big, bathrooms large enough to have space to put things on the enormous sink top, big tub shower combination, a hot pot and coffee, tea makings, a restaurant downstairs, super fast WiFi and plenty of places to park. Check-in was fast and friendly and breakfast came with the price of the room. The restaurant prices were a little high but we didn't feel like searching for a place to have dinner. The only strange thing was that there were no elevators. So we had to go up a flight of stairs and then down a flight of stairs to get to our rooms. Otherwise, everything was great. If you are visiting this area, try the Best WEstern Hotel Arlux.
Shearings used this hostel as an overnight stay for one of their european tours. they did say that they had not booked us in for dinner but the restaurant would be open until 22.00 hours, we arrived at 20.45. So you would think that we could get to eat WRONG ! our luggage arrived at our room 68 minutes later so we had no time to change/bathe etc before dinner, NOT ideal when you have been travelling for 14 hours in a hot coach (that's another story ). Despite the fact that i was travelling with my wife we had two single beds, the room itself was adequate for an over night but hardly suitable for a longer stay. The area is quiet with absolutely nothing of value to a traveller ie alternative places to eat etc.

Sir The group was expected at 22.30 p.m., without any resquested meal included. If a meal had been needed, we had to be warned of it , in advance, in order to answer to your request. That's true the porterage was really slow, and we kindly, ask you to apolagize us for this inconvenient caused, but the staff designed to do this job finally did it, with help of the receptionnist. We thank you having submitted us this problem, and meanwhile, we remain at your entire disposal. With our Best Regards, Nicolas
Excellent hotel, next to highway Brussels-Luxembourg. Perfect for a quick stay on your way to France or further and back. Fine environment to have a promenade. Very good food and beverage, polite personnel, good beds, good shower and towels.
Perfect for a sleep over if you are working / traveling around the Luxembourg region. A 2 min drive from the highway. Basic but good. Compares very positively to overpriced hotels in nearby Luxembourg.
Completely and totally first class all staff were very helpful including the Hotel Manager who made the stay over very pleasant because of his relaxed and helpful attitude . The Manager was at first not apparent as he just mixed with the every day staff especially in the breakfast period when guests were at times having difficulty with the food language barrier he personally helped them.
I had two recent overnights a week apart here. the first room has been given a bit of a makeover - open plan bathroom, fancy lighting etc, the second had a more dated feel with a supposedly disabled friendly bathroom. The quality of the food was great, the breakfast especially bountiful although the evening meals are perhaps a little too 'designer' for my tastes. The location is great although parking, whilst free can be a little awkward. But back to the bathrooms - be very wary of the open plan variety, especially if you are at all shy and beware of the overly slippery floor of the shower. We found the un upgraded facilities to be much better for the less able bodied.
A touring and business focused hotel on the outskirts of town. Good spacious room, with a coffee machine, fridge and safe, and plenty of parking. Breakfast is acceptable, though the "omelettes" were like leather. Getting dated now and the bathrooms in particular need overhauling. Some English and other European TV channels were available. Comfortable bed and very quiet at night. Expensive for what it provides overall however.
As others have pointed out, this hotel is well-suited for those on the road. When we were there, we noticed a large number of conference rooms so you could also go here for business. We found our room (a "deluxe" room) to be comfortable enough, with enough space to move around with three people. You won't hear much noise from the other rooms, but the doors don't block sound from the hallway very well, so you'll hear folks (often children) moving about.
Heading down France with a friend on our motorbikes, the weather turned bad and so we decided to find a hotel for the night. Quick check on booking.com lead us to the Best Western Hotel Arlux and we were not disappointed. They allowed us to park our bikes under the porch by the front doors of the hotel, rather than leaving them down in the car park. The room was of an acceptable standard for an overnight stay, the bar and restaurant areas very nice - good beer on tap too! We had an evening meal in the restaurant, it was fairly priced and very tasty/filling (try the burger you will not be disappointed). Breakfast was very good, with lots of selection.
The hotel is well situated for an overnight stay when arriving in Calais Good food and clean room polite staff It is good hotel to use when needing overnight accomodation when travelling to Italian or Swiss lakes
Stayed for one night on coach holiday to Austria. Good sized comfortable rooms. Set menu in the restaurant was very good. Really nice overnight stop. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay a again if in the area.
On our return trip we stayed at the Best western hotel Arlux in Arlon Belgium. We wanted a hotel close to Luxenburg and after a 10 hour drive the Arlux was spot on. The hotel is very nice comfy rooms and very friendly staff in reception and bar/restaurant the beer and food were also very good. If ever in this area again we will definitely stay here.
Recommended stop-off for long journeys. Quiet & comfortable. Had an issue with overcharging but this was resolved within weeks. No need to pre-book evening meal as dining room is quiet. Located within minutes of motorway but far enough away for quietness.
Great budget hotel close to arlon centre, spacious clean basic room with breakfast included. Sometimes a bit expensive but that depends on the occupation and time of the year, on the other hands the beds sleep fantastic and the breakfast is great value for such a price. Will not hesitate to stay here if i cannot find accomodation in the centre of arlon.
Nothing great and nothing bad about this place. About what you would expect from a best western. Large room, decent shower, decent bed. Simple with no frills. Very easy to find and a short five minute drive to train station.
Hotellissa haisi homeelle, joten en suosittele pidempään majoittumiseen, tai astmaatikoille. Economy-luokan huoneet olivat tien puolella, joten herkempien nukkujien kannattaa varata deluxe-huone, joka on puiston puolella. There was a smell of mildew in the hotel, so I would not recommend for a longer stay, or people with lung problems. Also the economy class room were on the highway side, and quite noisy because of the traffic. Noise sensitive should reserve a deluxe room on the park side.
I arrived at the hotel at about 12:45AM from a late business meeting and was gone by 6:45. The staff was pleasant enough on our late arrival (limited English, or it was just late), getting us checked in and arranging a taxi for our early departure. I had enough room to repack my bag for the next business day, and head to sleep, which I did very well! Breakfast was available early, so I was able to quickly eat at 6:30 and catch my cab. The coffee really helped my day. Prices were reasonable. This is a short review. The hotel deserves more time.
Stayed one night during a four-night driving tour. Inexpensive hotel with clean, basic rooms, moderately comfortable beds and helpful staff but not much else going for it. A reasonable hotel at a fair price, it's three stars from me.
this was one of those sagas that may have may not been the fault of the hotel but, unfortunately for them, giving a review on them is my only outlet. I stayed for a week (Sunday to Thursday) whilst working in Luxembourg. Needles to say I wont stay here again. To start the traffic in the morning getting into Luxembourg is horrendous. The hotel isn't difficult to find but the car park is dark and stretches along a private road which means, if its busy, you will have a long walk to reception. The rooms are ok - not special just ok. The restaurant is limited - its fine but nothing special - the bar serves beer and does a fir Bombay Saphire and tonic. the main problem was the Junior Japanese judo squad who were in residence for the firs coule of nights. Beaing in mind I was doing 14 hour days presenting to customers I needed my sleep. On the 2nd night I was kept awake by the youngsters having fun (cant complain about people having fun until it stops me sleeping!) - charging up and down, laughing and screaming - generally doing what teenagers do. By 1 in the morning I'd had enough and went to reception who assured me that they'd sort it. at 1.45 I went back to reception and demanded the key to another room so that I could sleep. To give them their due I was given another room for the 4 hours I had left to sleep - but that was too little too late. When I checked out no apology, no remorse, no offer of compensation. Really quite poor. the staff themselves weren't terrible it just felt like they didn't care
This hotel is in the middle of nowhere - closest "venue" is a shopping strip, that closes at 18:30... No light outside, resulting in very dark parking and lots of tripping over. No covered parking = don't forget your ice-scraper for morning defrosting. Hotel feels old, (ab)used and not very clean. One member of staff to cover reception and bar results in lacking coverage in both places. Hung a designated hotel-sign outside requesting no cleaning. Returned to a room that had been cleaned & had EVERY towel I'd even TOUCHED replaced, in spite of all of them being hung on the racks, indicating by their own signage that they were still in use. Breakfast buffet run-of-the-mill, but sorely lacking any fruits or greens. White bread and cake in spades though. Would chose another hotel for subsequent visits - this place didn't vibe with me at all.
Located on the motorway so good links Good buffet breakfast Bar closes at 11 so no hope for a snack if you have a late meeting Rooms were huge but no instructions for coffee machine Despite being very old, would stay again
This Hotel is perfect for shortlist like; wolk in open nature, sideseing. I personally go for luxemburg frist. Have a nice stay in this Hotel. not much esp. Rooms are clean and trendy, friendly personel's. Breakfast is excellent. For drivers who's passing by; this hotel gives you a perfect place and very good sleep.
Rooms are old and need to be completely renewed. The price is too high for the quality of the structure. Good beds. Breakfast is quite good and restaurant not bad for a lunch or dinner! There is beer leffe, always not bad! ????
We were overwhelmed by the assistance provided to us when we rolled up at the front door after a long car drive with a driver injured by a fall at our last stop. The staff were wonderful and changed our room for a ground floor one close to reception. They arranged for room service to provide us with food and drink. The room was very well equipped and the bed extremely comfortable. Alhtough a wedding party were celebrating no noise reached our quiet room. By the time we left after two nights we were in much better shape and could drive back to the UK.
a bit worried about this hotel after reading reviews stayed there on our way to St Anton and on the return journey. we found rooms clean and spacious bar meals were fine staff even set up my Wi-Fi but found it not reliable.
Stayed a few times as convenient stopover on way to southern Germany, Austria or Italy.Good breakfast and staff who remember you 10 months later.Added bonus close to Luxembourg so fuel is dirt cheap.Loads of free parking and quite flexible on check out times. Restaurant quite decent if not exceptional.
We stayed at this hotel last year on our way to Austria and based on that experience we stayed again this year. What a different experience. We were ignored for 15 minutes in the restaurant so went to the bar to order a snack. Service was reasonable but the Pannini my wife ordered was old, dry and inedible. She shared my meal and we went off to bed more than a little disappointed. Looking for a socket to charge my phone I discovered a broken electrical box at the side of the bed such that the internal wiring was clearly visible. Do the housekeeping staff really not notice such things?? Despite being conveniently located just off the motorway we will look for an alternative hotel next year.
Convenient to Luxembourg, easy to find, free parking. The room was simple, clean. Our room faced front of hotel and it was very quiet. Breakfast was good, loved the fresh orange juice squeezing machine!
Booked a higher end room in this hotel. Room was clean and had a nice size. Simple modern and clean furniture easy to clean ... so it was clean what is a big plus. Bed was good and nice size. When called for reservation directly with hotel reception I got a good rate and felt extremely wellcome to book a room. Good show for the hotel staff FOR FRIENDLINESS AND HELPFULNESS. Big minus is the food ... priced above intermediate level the food itself is rather industrial cuisine you can find on a highway restaurant. Breakfast is OK and offers fresh orange juice... a big plus if you like that. Also in the morning staff is extremely friendly and helpfull.
Nice hotel, just of the Route de Soleil, excellent place to stay when passing, but also for for visiting Luxembourg. Suitable to stay multiple days if combining work and leisure. Rooms well equipped and sufficiently spacious. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent parking. The only back-draw is the half stair up and down again to the rooms with luggage. Good value for money.
The hotel was surely very modern and nice 10 years ago, it has now become older. Very easy to find, large parking. If your room is at the back of the hotel, the road is noisy in the morning... Everybody is helpful in the staff. Depending on the room, the bathroom needs to be refurbish. The breakfast buffet is nice with no surprise.
Good all round hotel, Clean and tidy good internet, good restaurant. This hotel is just a few hundred meters from the motorway and is an ideal base to explore Luxembourg and the surrounding area. We enjoyed our stay and will stay at this hotel again.
I must say that I spent just a night in this structure and as such my judgement might be hasty. Having said this the overall impression is that they should somehow try harder. The location is fine and the hotel crowdy but in general it looks like they are not that keen in servicing their clientele at best. Personnel is in fact rather absent mindedly providing the bare essential service but does not show any commitment or let alone enthusiasm at sorting out problems. I had for example problems with wi-fi that were solved only partially and for a short time. Facilities like bar and breakfast room are ok but not special and their range of options limited. To sum everything up, for 100+ Euros per night they should do better and I will look elsewhere next time.
We stayed here for one night, The dinner was good, chicken with oranges, ribs and a steak tartaar..., Friendly staff and a nice room. pity that some very noisy people came in the hallway at 04.30h in the middle of the night...Some people have no respect what so ever... Breakfast was excellent.
Typically it's normally the other way around. The hotel is average or good and the restaurant not. Here it's the other way around. Located just off the route the soleil on the outskirts of Arlon, there are not many places to choose from. Free spacious parking. The hotel itself is very 70s and in real need off renovation. Apperantly some rooms have already been, but not the one I was located in. Even so the general areas need renovation as well. The lobby is smelly due to cigarette smoke. The rooms and adjecent bathrooms are run down but clean. No AC. Opening the windows is possible, however traffic will keep you awake. Bed and bedlinnen are comfy though. The restaurant offers a descent meal at a good price, probably you could find something better downtown, but if you tired, save yourself the effort and order an entrecote and french fries. You'll be fine. Breakfast is acceptable. I wouldn't like to stay her on my holidays, nor take my family in here .. but just for a quick overnight stay it's acceptable if you get a fair rate (not more than 80€ I would say). Staff is friendly, but not very interested.
This hotel is very conveniently placed on the outskirts of Arlon (a town that should not detain the traveler) just off the A4-E411 - so ideal for an overnight en route. The hotel is quiet. The bedrooms are large but basic. En-suites similarly basic. All very clean. Buffet breakfast was good. The staff are English-speaking and helpful. But there was no check while we were there (2 nights) on who goes into breakfast and, with the motorway nearby, this may have been a factor in the theft of my wife's handbag. So take care!
We stayed here for only one night and found the room very modern, clean and comfortable. We had a good night sleep. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was OK, but nothing really special. We would stay again if in the area.
