Best Western Aquia/Quantico Inn

My stay at the Best Western was fantastic! The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a great experience at the Best Western and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay.

This motel is old, run down and in need of a renovation. Rooms are dirty, furniture is stained, & old. The bathroom/shower was full of mold covered grout. The showerhead was broken and very little water pressure. Plenty of other better choices within 5 minutes.

The bad reviews are absolutely correct. And fit our visit to a “T”. Loud music from the lounge next door. The smell of marijuana from the parking lot (for those who do not like that smell). The rooms are outdated and not well cared for. Obvious stains on the sheets. And they neglected to thoroughly clean the shower. There was a dog continuously barking from another room. Banging on doors all hours of the night. The heating unit was fine for a couple of hours. But then made a loud noise. Check in staff was great and friendly- but check out was not. If you stay- immediately report issues so you aren't confronted as to why you didn't at the very moment they occurred. In all honesty if you don't want to have to move in the middle of the night and want a quiet decent night sleep- stay somewhere else.

We chose this hotel the same day as we were travelling up the coast. Best Western are usually pretty dependable. We called and the front desk was EXCELLENT. We asked for a first floor room and they went out of their way to accommodate us, Check in was less than an hour later and was a breeze. Went to out room and a person idling in the parking lot smoking marijuana. Front door did not close on itself and needed a running push. There were pretzels and crud on the floor. These are the things that can be changes. Some thing cannot. The hotel is right on two major roads. You will hear trucks down sifting and braking all night. The fire department is right across the street and was constantly called out. Sirens blasting. Though you trade the noise for convenience. The hotel is right on the highway. Add that noise with the dog next door that barked constantly at every noise. And there was many of them. Neither of us was able to sleep and at 3am we decided to hit the road again. Sleeping in my car a rest stop seemed like a better option.

The rooms were very extremely dirty, dead bugs cobwebs and very outdated. The plumbing was an issue and unable to shower in one of the 2 rooms we booked. We went to front desk about these problems they moved us to first floor which looked to be upgraded some compared to other 2 room. We are diamond members and feel you should have at least acknowledged that at check in and gave us the renovated rooms. I would not recommend staying here, worst BW we have ever stayed at by Far!

Dirty room, outdated, holes in the door with paper towels stuffed in them. Smelled like smoke, and bed was horribly uncontrollable and the sheets where gritty. Worst hotel ive stayed at in the past 10 years. And i travel alot for work. Theres a reason i typically avoid best Western the past few years. Never again.

I recently stayed at the hotel and words cannot explain how amazing the hotel is. The experience was delightful. I went to stay for a day and the staff was amazing and the hotel room was clean.I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay at a hotel.

I stayed one night-- thank god it wasn't longer. It's 40 degrees out, I have the heat running. In the interests of white noise, initially I had it on constant fan, but got too warm and turned it down (from 72 to 70, these were not extreme temps). The thing would crank on every seven minutes-- I know, because I recorded it-- run for four, shut off for three, and crank back up with a REMARKABLE level of sound. I thought I'd get use to it as the night went on, but the opposite happened. Finally I got up at 6am after having barely slept, checked out at 6:45. When I checked out I told the clerk they needed to service he heater in that room... he said Oh, I know, lots of people have complained about that. WHAT. ARE. YOU. TALKING. ABOUT. If LOTS of people have complained about it, FIX IT. The entire point of a place like this is to have a tolerable night's sleep. This place was worthless for that. Otherwise it was clean, plenty of parking, easy to find. Absolutely infuriating.

The moment we opened the door to our room, the smell of WEED hit us. The room itself was OK (at best) We were in town to visit family, and had to get going, so we let it go. The second night of our visit, we went to the ice machine, in another building on another floor - again heavy WEED smell. Then, in the middle of the night on our final night, around 1:00 am the smell of WEED woke me up. Three strikes - OUT! Also, I tried to fill the ice bucket with water - however it had a hole in the bottom that spilled on the floor. I wiped the water up with a face towel and it was SO DIRTY it was appalling. The cloth turned black. In addition, the plug in the vanity area (close to the sink) pulled out of the wall with my hair dryer. This can not be safe. Overall, I would NOT stay here again and I would not recommend it to anyone. I didn't feel safe, didn't appreciate how tired, dirty and WEED infested it was.

When we arrived, we we're tired needed the restroom and wanted the bed. However the bathroom was nasty, and the toilet had feces still in it around the toilet bowl. The bed wasn't comfy and we asked for a discount but had to wait until we got back home to receive a discount if any a week later.

Not one complaint. Clean, affordable, and great free breakfast, complete with eggs, sausage, potatoes. Will probably stop again on our way back! We just walked in without a reservation, check in May have been the easiest I have ever experienced

We stopped at this hotel for one night on our way up north, The desk clerk was very nice and helpful. However when we get to our room, we found that the toilet made loud noises as it flushed and for a long time afterwards. There was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the door from a previous guest I assume. The alarm clock or lamp between the beds made funny noises most of the night. Beds were comfortable. We left before breakfast to continue on our way.

I knew going there the place would be dated so it's not fair to rate them on that. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Timmy at the front desk went above and beyond by providing us with dinner/local shopping options and directions fir a trip to the Marine museum the next day. The breakfast was more than enough with fresh fruit (berries, bananas, oranges and apples), hot station (eggs, sausage, home fries), make your own waffles, pastries, yogurt/granola, cold cereal, and coffee/juices. The lady overseeing the breakfast was attentive and friendly too! A great option for an overnight at a great price.

Clean Hotel in Quantico area. I Was there for graduation. Room was was very clean. Breakfast has many options and was full everyday during my 3 days stay. Breakfast lady t was vey nice and polite and made sure we enjoy every morning. House keeper also did nice job cleaning the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Facilities are dated and worn. Not up to Standard for family stays. Cleanliness of carpets was substandard. Breakfast was good and plentiful but ran for only a short period. Overall I would not recommend as anything but a low level budget one night stay hotel.

The sheets were clean (bedspreads had hair on them), and beds comfortable. Floor had not been swept or vacuumed. Still had trash on floors. Dirty towel still hanging on back of bathroom door. Furniture very outdated. We had a non-smoking, pet friendly room, but the smell of smoke and urine was so bad, we went to the office and asked for air freshener, which the clerk provided. The price we paid was for a 3 star hotel, but this location was NOT 3 star quality.

I wasn't able to go, but my husband went and children. He said it was the worst hotel he's ever been to. Seem more like a motel than hotel. They were a big stain in the ceiling like it had been leaking. You had to enter the room from the outside. He said everything smells stale and used, hardwood floors. Even saw a piece of gum stuck on the lamp that was left from previous tenant so obviously the room was not clean thoroughly. They went out and bought some Lysol and sprayed everything down because it did not seem very clean to them. I have stayed in many a best Western, but had never heard of one like this. I don't know if Best Weston took over this hotel and hadn't had a chance to remodeled it yet, if so they shouldn't opened it until they remodeled and get it up to their standards. With what my family told me about this hotel, it would make me not want to go to another best Western again. The only positive that my husband can tell me was the front desk staff was very helpful and gave him recommendations of places to eat.

stayed at this hotel, very pleased, very clean and spacious rooms. Front end staff was very pleasant and helpful with my endless questions. I will definitely book again at this site during my trips through Virginia. it is not far from I 95, which made it even better.

This motel is older, but we'll maintained. The rooms are clean & comfortable. But the best thing is their service! They are very welcoming, accommodating, and caring. I sent the desk a text about an issue I had, and they responded with a solution in less than 2 minutes!

The checkin process was great. The clerk was friendly and efficient. This hotel was outdated and old. I did like that the pet friendly room I was in had no carpet, which made it cleaner than if there was a carpet. My room was not cleaned well. There were several strands of hair in the bathtub and sink area. My pillows were not fresh. The corners of the room were not swept well in the bathroom and the guest room. The outside handle area of the refrigerator was dirty, The location was pretty noisy as it was near a busy road. Lots of sirens and loud engines. I have stayed at many Best Western hotels, and this is the first one I was really uncomfortable in. The room was really lacking in cleanliness. It was dark and gloomy. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again and do not recommend it.

My company placed us here for a long term job, many of our employees and sub contractors stayed here over the course of a year. Tommy the Manager was without a doubt the most amazing Manager at any hotel I have stayed at! The rest of the staff were always friendly and helpful as well. The rooms were always clean and ready for us as requested. Tommy thank you for EVERYTHING! We were her from 7-21 to 7-22

Located right off I-95 next to Quantico Marine Corps base. Clean and quiet with friendly front desk staff. No creepy crawlers seen of any kind. Tile floor, comfortable bed and linens, black-out curtains, microwave, 'fridge, pet friendly (fee). AC worked great. Pool was closed when we were there. Plenty of free parking. Close to restaurants. Didn't stay for breakfast. Would return when in the area.

this is the only place i've booked with the intent of another person staying on my dime. they have such a crazy customer-negative local system that it never works. screwed twice at this hotel regarding this. the 'direct visitor' had to pay when they didn't use my 'holding' credit card to pay the bill. yeah sure, there's some law that forces them to do it, but for god's sake do it right, not always impact the customer. the manager also wasn't on site during the day non-weekend to discuss it. the manager of this hotel seems to do his best to be as invisible and impacting as possible. i had to fill out paperwork to permit the 'direct visitor' to stay and then they billed him. that makes no sense to qualify the visit on my dime and then not use the dime to pay the bill. never again.

Arrived after midnight looking to sleep for a few hours on an extended trip. Hotel bar had DJ playing until 2 am. Kept us up until 2. Caused us to get a later start the next morning. In addition the TV remote was broken.

Tommy was very nice and held me a room in the middle of the night when I was having trouble for over a hour and 10 exits with 4-6 hotels per exit being fully booked. He even waived my pet fee. Mark got me checked in quickly and was very nice as well. I can't thank you guys enough!

Average BW property. Replacing carpet with laminate is a definite improvement as the climate control system never really dried the carpet out. Breakfast down a few points since previous stays. Have stayed here since the property was a Days Inn.

The Motel is run down and old. The Iron did not work. The Refrigerator did not keeps items cold. The microwave was dirty. The shower head leaked with little pressure. The breakfast items were poor quality with little variety.

I loved this hotel....the breakfast was great and had many choices! the staff was very helpful and were always there to help you out. Five stars to Tommy !! He was great to work with and helped me a great deal with my reservation.

We stayed here recently for a sports tournament for my children and the front desk was so friendly and helpful. They offered suggestions for restaurants in the area without us even having to ask. They also told us about discounts that we receive at those restaurants if we mentioned we were staying here. With us not being from the area, we found this extremely helpful…. And the restaurant he recommended was delicious!! We found the hotel to be a very convenient location near many shopping plazas and a large variety of restaurants. It was also very convenient that we could bring our pets with us and there was plenty of space to walk them. The rooms are clean and the beds were very comfortable. If we are in the area, we will definitely be seeing her again. Tommy, at the front desk, was simply amazing.

the staff is a bunch of perverts and they sell crystal meth out of there.one of the employees try to sell me meth and they did sexually assault me.i told the head management and all she could say is that she will talk to him and this has happened before

The room was small, but very clean and served our purposes. The staff was great and provided suggestions of dining in the area. The breakfast provided was more than ample, providing a variety of breakfast foods.

From reception to GM, everyone there was super nice. My daughter forgot the plush toy and the GM himself, Mr Patel took time to mail me the toy. That was amazing and avoid me the drama at home with my daughter

Staff is friendly, polite and helpful. Clean pet friendly room. Bed was comfortable, room was updated. Designated area for pet walking. Adequately lit at night. Parking right in front of room. This was my second stay and will definitely stay again when traveling from NJ to Fl

staff was great n breakfast was very elaborate and tasty. rooms were clean and sanitized. good customer service. internet connection was great. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone. Very safe place too.

I made a reservation with this hotel through Expedia and paid it in full there. After checking out of the hotel I realized that the hotel had charged me again. So I got charged double for a night of stay.

After a 12 hour drive, we were looking forward to a nice relaxing stay, and chose a Best Western with that expectation. Boy we we ever disappointed! The room was beyond shabby - extremely dirty (there was trash under the wingback chair which is probably still there), dark, flying insects, paltry tv channel selection (did not even ALCS championship game). It made us itchy and reluctant to get into our pajamas and into bed. Walking around in our stocking feet resulted in dirty socks. The price was way too high considering the poor quality; the next day we stayed at a great Country Inn and Suites for the same price.

Stayed there so I could go to the Marine Corp Museum. The hotel is close to the Museum and has several restaurants close by easy to walk to. The rooms have old lamps and don't have charging ports. The rooms were clean and easy to get to.

Stayed here many times but last couple visits have experienced partying and loud music. Need some enforced crowd control. Room was clean some updates have been done and it has a good average nightly rate for the area.

I had a Very frustrating check-in and check-out experience. Rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful front desk staff. I felt unappreciated and undervalued as a frequent customer of this hotel chain. I was very disappointed with my stay.

We stayed here for an event that was taking place on the Marine base. We tried other locations a bit closer but they were all booked. The location was fine for our needs and had a couple of restaurants nearby. The front desk staff was very friendly as were the staff assigned to the breakfast room. Our room was comfortable, the bed was comfortable as well. Our only grip was that the room was very damp/humid even with the AC unit running. The room did not have a musty odor so maybe it was a temporary thing. We did not have our dog with us on this trip but I did note that they are pet friendly with a $20 fee, very reasonable. We also liked the plank floors rather than filthy smelly carpet. 8-13-2021

This is not a 3-star hotel! And it doesn't even deserve the BW brand label on it. This is the worst BW I've ever stayed in all across the country during the past twenty years. If you're traveling with a pet, you'll be assigned a room in the back of the property that's dark, and people were partying in the parking lot outside my window until 2am with no security patrol. When mentioning this at checkout, the desk agent asked if I reported the disturbance... Um, no, bc I need my vehicle intact to continue my journey. Solo travelers be aware. The other thing is that apparently they think if you're traveling with a pet, not only do you not care about safety and security, but that cleanliness is also optional. The room was dark and gross! The bottoms of my white clean socks were black after taking off my sneakers. Luckily Carlos O'Brien's is in walking distance for a margarita.

This is motel shares a parking lot with a loud sports bar. the rooms smell like smoke and random hairs are everywhere. I am a huge fan of Best Western properties but this one fell short of what I am used to.

We recently stayed at this hotel. The location worked great - right off 95, restaurants in the area. The outside of the hotel looked okay but the landscaping was a bit run down and the pool is closed. The check in went well. We arrived at our room and noticed the surfaces weren't clean. We wiped them off with paper towels; the amount of dirt on them was significant. We had some drips on the floor and wiped them up - the paper towels were almost black from the dirt on the floor. There were crumbs on the desk chair. During the night we saw a bug on the floor (and squished it.) We were on our way the next day; the check out was not pleasant. We got home and removed items we had taken into the room; we found bugs on two of the items that had been there with us. We have since called the hotel management and reported the problems.

Great staff and great amenities! I would highly recommend this particular location to anyone traveling north to the Capital District . The hotel is situated near restaurants and relatively close proximity to the interchange exit.

The room125 was facing the pool. (Which was closed, in summer?) I asked for a quiet room because we were arriving late. The friendly staff, was happy to oblige. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Now the cons, there was a large puddle on floor next to the A.C. unit. When turned on it was cool and quiet, for 5 min. Then, it sounded like a plane landing! But, It was too late and we were too tired to change rooms. Then, at about 1:30am I was awakened by a man banging on another door,screaming and yelling and threatening violence. Breakfast was in a brown bag, due to local Covid restrictions. The muffin and apple were good, but the area for heating the food was littered with trash, it had been there at 11:00 last night when we checked in! The sandwich was stale. The morning staff, a young lady, was most apologetic for our inconvenience and was very polite. I honestly don't think we got what they advertised for this hotel and that is disappointing, but because the room was clean and comfortable. I would still recommend it. Unfortunately, my last experience was in the ladies room, near the front desk. Was that blood on the vent in the ceiling? They did not take as much care to clean the public areas of this place. That's why I only gave it a 2.

The hotel was very convenient plenty of restaurants around hotel. The hotel was very pleasant to stay at.rooms very clean No bugs that was the best.Breakfast was very good plenty of choices and coffee fantastic

We were looking for a place to rest to break up a long road trip. This place fit the bill. Booked online about 10 minutes prior to our very late check-in. The staff was friendly and efficient. The first room smelled like an ashtray but it was a quick and easy switch and the second room was perfect. Loved the non-carpeted floor and hope that more hotels make the switch. The beds were comfortable and the area was decently quiet. We were able to get a solid rest before hitting the road again. The free breakfast consisted of coffee and oatmeal packets. The refrigerator was smaller than a standard hotel mini fridge and we had to squeeze our cooler contents into it but made it work. But we would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We recently stayed at the BW in Stafford VA, near Quantico on our way to the Outer Banks. Tommy, the front office manager was a delight, he checked us in and made us feel welcomed, almost like being apart of the family. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Did not hear much road noise considering how close the hotel was to Interstate 95. There is an on-site restaurant, but we did not get to try it out. Would definitely stay again if in the area. I had an horrible stay. Room had a smoke smell, the blankets & floors were so dirty I had to throw my socks in the trash they were so black and disgusting. The staff was ignorant on the phone and 10 times worse when I checked in with her. I called for a supervisor and I've never received a call back after leaving several messages With the desk staff about my stay. I WILL Never come back to the dump.

My stay was unexpected and short. It was very welcoming. I loved the floors and hot water. It was very clean and I slept like a baby. So happy my dog son was welcomed as well. I called to make my reservation and everything completed in ten minutes. Right on time for when I pulled up to check in.

Angel and Tommy are treasures. Tommy was phenomenal on the phone before I even arrived Angel made me feel at home once I did. The to-go breakfast (due to Covid) was plentiful. The room was clean and had a mini fridge and microwave and the price was reasonable for what they provided. I wanted a nice economical place between Richmond and DC and boy did they deliver. The next time I'm in town I'll be staying there.

We found this hotel very clean, good area, with a pleasant staff at front desk upon arrival & perfect for our quick stop heading to Florida! We will when heading back home make sure this is the stop we make if in the area!

Love the bed they have. This is the best mattress I ever stayed any hotel. Very easy acces from I95. Rooms were outside doors. It seems recently renovated rooms. New LVT flooring and paint In rooms. Staff were so friendly and easy check in and express checkout. This is my new stop in STAFFORD.

Room was very clean, nice tv and good wifi i was able to connect my firestick to the tv and watch clearly with no issues! The shower heads are nice they have multiple settings to choose from and there was also a fridge and microwave in the room too

Worst Best Western ever. Very disappointed. Room was okay, building was old. Gap between door and frame let cold air in at night. As a late arrival and early check out, I just needed a place to get a good night's sleep before another long day of travel. Room temperature did not allow for this. Thankful for the hot shower.

The staff was very polite, Tommy checked us in and he was very peppy. Unfortunately, the Gym and pool were closed due to Covid. The room was clean, neat, and cozy. Would definitely stay here again when I am in the area!

Booked 10 minutes before checking in and had no issues. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Only complaint is the room smelled a little funky but spraying perfume helped and the WiFi nor cell phone service worked in the room. Had to stand outside to do anything on my phone. However, I would stay here again.

This hotel was easy to locate, clean, quiet, relaxing. Upon arrival we of course went inside and it was super clean. Desk person was pleasant and professional. The room was on upper level. Clean outside and parking was right where I can look outside my window and see my truck. There is a McDonald's in same lot. We don't eat out a lot but nice to be near many thing. We ended up going to the near by kohl's Walmart and target. Forgot some things lol. Very nice location. Only problem was the refrigerator was not working it was hot we turned it down as much as we could but still over our 3 day stay no luck. I take medication and NEED a way to keep it cold.

Basic clean room! Great value. Room was clean and had a mini fridge - microwave - iron - hair dryer. Our cell service was pretty much a dead zone in our room but the wifi worked well. During COVID most businesses are closed to eat in options. We went to Jay's Bar on site and the food was great... eat in... drinks. Only here for one night due to traveling in for Funeral. Overall good value

I stayed at the Best Western Aquia Quantico Inn, this past week. Angel, checked My wife and I In with a pleasant upbeat and positive personality. I felt very welcomed at my arrival. I will be returning soon thank you for providing awesome service.

The floors were so dirty they turned your socks/feet black. The ac unit sounded like a jet engine. There was a huge gap around the front door so you could see light enter at night. The mirrors were not cleaned. The sink was very slow draining. The clean towels we were given on day two were either stained or dirty. The chair was dirty. The closet rod was bowed. And the road noise was so loud you could hear every car as it passed.

Very disheartened. first night we get there late and the toilet is non working. So after settling in, we have pack up everything and move to another room at 11pm at night. The new room had dead bugs in the bathroom. Next day the key cards would not hold the magnetic code, so every time we needed to leave the room, we had to go to the desk to have them recode the cards. We get back after 10 hours of volleyball tryoiuts and more bugs in the bathroom, this time alive. Then at 12:30 am at night the airconditioning broke down. Told by front desk they don't have maintenence, so we would have to move rooms. We move to new room and this time several live bugs in bathroom. We were supposed to stay 3 nights, however only stayed 2 nights. We have stayed at countless Best Westerns, and NEVER had this experience. Never again!!!

No breakfast whatsoever - but the price reflects that. I would not hesitate to stop at this BW if my travels drop me in Quantico again. Front desk very gracious under difficult circumstances. Bathtub soak in softened water just what my tired body needed.

Took 3 tries to get a room and it still had a broken shelf, reeked of stale cigarette smell, and felt damp due to the wall A/C. First room had a pile of dirty linens sitting on the A/C in the window (during the age of Covid), so we didn't even go in. Second room stank of cigarette smell and had a big stain on the carpet. Third room was still nasty, but I was tired of dealing with the front desk person who started thinking I was crazy. Also, disappointed that they didn't even have grab and go cereal to offer for breakfast and yet the room charge wasn't discounted.

We didn't plan on staying the area, but had car trouble on our journey and pulled into the parking lot around 4 AM. I was greeted warmly at that hour and given some great information by the front desk staff for services in the area. We were given a room adjacent where we had to park our vehicles and the staff was very helpful throughout the morning as we arranged our plans to get home less one vehicle. We've circled this place on our maps so that when we journey I-95 again, we'll make a stop here.

Room was clean but very musty. Breakfast was not maintained. Hot foods not filled with any urgency. Waited 20 min+ and finally grabbed a hard boiled egg and coffee. While preparing to check out. We had 'Do not Disturb' on the door. Could hear housekeeping outside talking loudly. They tapped on the door...even tho the sign was evident...and walked in right away. I was saying..hello?? They closed the door. Not horrible but not what i expected. A/C-heat made clanging/clicking sounds loudly all night. I woke every time it started even put headphones on.

Beds were awesome. We also enjoyed the breakfast with the variety for everyone in our family. It was free breakfast so who can complain about that :D Hotel was bear restaurants we had Mexican. Also very close to 95 when we had to leave.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel with excellent breakfast and good service provided by the staff. good place for family. this is my place for staying whenever in the area . The rate was also reasonable.

This place is always very clean never any issues pet friendly this was the first time we took our pets with us and it was worth the 20.00 a night for both dogs, just to know they were with us and ok I really recommend best western in Stafford Va

Would recommend this hotel. All the staff at the front desk, cleaning and in breakfast room were friendly and helpful. The hotel was neat inside and out. Enjoyable stay. Had no problems or complaints.

The room smelled of musty mold. The a/c chilled well but felt damp. Had an occasion to turn on the heat. The unit spewed out burnt dust which set off the smoke detector. The alarm didn't alert the front desk or the fire department. Complained during check-out and was told 'it's due to the weather. We'll have maintenance look at it.'

Our experience with Best Western Aquia/Quantico Inn was VERY GOOD! Check-In clerk was very nice and accommodating! Even suggested a few restaurants in the area as well as sites to see. We were there just as an overnight and not sight seeing but he was certainly helpful! We had a pet with us and were assigned to a VERY clean room on the 2nd floor. 2nd floor was NOT a problem to us as we do not mind steps nor a bit of exercise! I am particular about cleanliness and the room AND bathroom met my standards which are "high". The room was quiet and comfortable though on a corner and near the ice/snack room. Excellent breakfast in the morning complete with waffles, fruit, cereal, eggs, sausage, potatoes, mixed juices, milk and coffee and more!

Where does one start? Our room had a sticky carpet, carpet molding was uplifted along wall, bugs and spider webs in the bath area and black hair strands in the tub. The service desk Barbara was pleasant, courteous and most willing to help with our concerns.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Older two level drive up. Rooms humid, but they are trying to fix that. Check-in clerk was not good, but the lady who checked me out was wonderful. Breakfast is wonderful. Hopefully they will build a more modern building in the Towne Center project. On and off I95 and lots of places to eat.

Stayed here because the last hotel we attempted in the area was not so great. We enjoyed our stay here very much! Clean and friendly.. very nice breakfast with 2 waffle makers and toppings for our kids. Outdoor pool was so inviting. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us and help with dinner suggestions. Ashanti and Barbara were the best!

The breakfast was awesome. The service was even better. I would totally do this again. It is right next to the highway and close to a gas station and two restaurants. There is no pool. The laundry machines are easily accessible.

The Best Western Aquia / Quantico Inn (Stafford Virginia)is located very conveniently, at the intersections of 610 and Jefferson Highway (Route 1), with the added bonus of easy access to and from I-95 North and South bound. There are plenty of eateries in the area, both on Route 1 and on 610, as well as other shopping options and fuel. This was our first time staying at this location, we have stayed at other Stafford VA Hotels prior. We decided to try this as it was only a 1 night visit to the area and the price was more than competitive for the area. It is a hotel where the room doors face the exterior and when entering or leaving your room, you step out onto an exterior common sidewalk, typically the kind of place I recommend travelers do not stay for safety reasons. I much prefer a hotel with a common interior corridor to access the room for safety reasons. That said, this location seemed safe enough with virtually no trees surrounding the building and limited obstructions blocking your view, making it difficult for individuals to hide in waiting or sneak up behind. Check in was relatively easy, the Front Counter personnel took their time to review and explain the agreement we were about to sign, right down to pointing out that we will be charged if the TV goes missing. It is sad that they have to say that and makes one wonder why. The room we stayed in, room 224 faced away from the highway, overseeing the fields and buildings pictured in their website. I explain that because we thought we were hearing trash trucks and their fast idle feature throughout the night. It turned out it was the wall heater/AC unit cycling on and off making that noise. Rate this as a minor annoyance. The other features of the room included a divided bath and sink area, a refrigerator in the cabinet (although it was not turned on and we did not need it so we left it off), 2 beds and a chair. There was an ironing board and iron as well as a hair dryer in the room as well as ample number of accessible power outlets for your phone chargers and such. Quite comfortably furnished. We were told there is an exercise room and a pool, which we did not utilize nor did we attempt to locate. We did find an ice machine, tucked away in a room under the stairs, so we could top off our travel cooler. Morning Breakfast is included in your stay and I found it very acceptable. Several steam trays of breakfast items, 2 waffle makers, yogurts, juices and COFFEE. With all this stated, the question remains, will I stay there again, ABSOLUTELY. I found the convenience of the location along with easy access to travelers need, coupled with the comfortable rooms made for a rather satisfactory visit.

Best customer service I have ever had. And the room, the grounds everything was clean and welcoming. The pool was great too, not too much chlorine. Easy location, home like and not stuffy. Off the main street for more privacy. Loved it.

Checking in the hotel was speedy and no issues and one of the amazing things is no deposit is required which is why it got the 2 star rating. Going to hotel room it was water in the walk way and it was not rain water because it did not rain not once during my stay. Upon entering room it was strange order like the carpet had been sitting in water had to buy lysol just to help with smell. If your looking for convenience that is the place to stay do not look for comfort. Service was great very friendly and speedy but the overall look of hotel is not all that great and no elevator so be prepared to carry your things up and down some stairs.

Our group members stay here when we have a conference once a year. While parts of it, including some rooms, are close to needing a makeover, it is "home". The staff are friendly and the rates are reasonable. It is near reasonably priced eateries and other venues that we need access to. The water is hot, the bed is comfortable. The sink is outside the bathroom to allow my husband to shave while I shower; his favorite type of room. The bathroom could use more ventilation when the shower is operated. The only thing that gives my husband and I pause, is it allows pets. The thought of two 80 lb animals possibly sleeping in the beds we sleep in is not something we want to think about.

I travel a lot to Quantico area and every time I stay in a different Hotel to see how they do business. Was my first experience with Best Western Hotel franchise and I have to say for a last minute quick book their franchise is real good. Their hotel super clean, rooms with fresh sheets and towels, customer service very friendly and their breakfast is like a 5 star restaurant breakfast! Loved it!

Staff excellent ..check in/out efficient and non stressful .Breakfast great ..clean everywhere . Restful sleep ..east to get to off I-95 . plenty of wonderful restaurants in the area. Will stop in again soon .

Good place to stay room was cleani, easy to fine off 95 and price of the room was fair. Outside of building was lighted very well, Free breakfast in the morning lots of food the people running the breakfast were very nice asking if need any and keep the serving room very clean.

The room was very dirty and smelled really bad. I was afraid to sleep because of how nasty this place felt. Would never stay here again. I would not recommend this place to any on. For the price you are better of spending the extra 20 bucks to stay at the Hampton inn across the street

Really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast each morning was always welcomed and the rooms are clean and comfy. There was a large group of kids on our weekend and it made for a crowded dining experience, but that's to be expected. We saw a great maintenance man painting the vents and mopping with a smile and the rest of the staff was friendly!

The room was acceptable and not dirty it just had a dingy feel. There was a cobweb in the bath. Also I am not a fan of these rooms that have the sink outside the bath. The staff there were excellent and the breakfast was good with several items and juices.

We stayed one night here for my daughters travel soccer tournament, the hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. They even allowed us early check in. My only complaint was lighting the room was very dim. And at check in there was a little girl behind the counter playing with the receptionist while she was trying to check me in.

My daughter and I stayed here during a road trip. I travel for a living and have stayed in thousands of hotels and usually only do good reviews but ..ugh.....I haven't had any sleep. Those were the single worst pillows and sheets I have ever experienced. They were so scratchy like burlap. I had to cover with a t-shirt to sleep. Really shockingly bad. Not to mention the cigarette dispensers near our room (a non smoking room) so everyone's smoke wafted in. And the walls are so thin you can hear every word of your night owl neighbors TV. Bummer.

Vacation trip home - drive from the warmer climate. We found the staff to be extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. The location was excellent, immediately off of route 95. There were several restaurants in the area to choose from for dinner. Also a gas station handy to fill up our car.

Great hotel. Excellent staff and super attentive. Greeted by their night desk agent , Luis, who is one of the nicest individuals I have ever met. This place will be the one and only when I am in the area ( Washington , Arlington ).

We were very satisfied with our stay and happy to have introduced others in our group to BW. The best service and breakfast did not disappoint! Not one but 2 waffle makers so , no waiting in line . It was definitely up to the high Best Western standard that we come to expect and appreciate.

We wanted a ground floor room. The one they gave us did not have wifi so we had to be moved to a 2nd floor room which did have wifi. Clean room with courtyard/pool view. I was leery when they told us at check in that breakfast was in a motel room BUT I was very impressed with breakfast. It was actually as big as three motel rooms. Lots of food to choose from and a very nice lady working there. I was not at all impressed with the girl that checked us in or the one that checked us out. I would stay here again if in the area

The rooms are outdated and it looks like a motel. The heat was off in the room and it didn't fully heat up during our stay. Not good considering i had a toddler with me. The guy at reception sucks at his job. I asked for a tissue and he said "you have tissues in your room." I see a box of tissues under a tv and go to take one and he says "that's a decoration." So I ask him, "can you honestly tell me you don't have any tissues there?" And he puts a box on the counter!!! I am astounded at how stupid the whole situation was. He was determined to not let me have a cheap tissue! The lady in the morning at check out was an absolute professional. She was the highlight of my entire stay.

Stayed for one night travelling home from Myrtle Beach. We forgot our Ipad and didn't realize until 30 minutes up the road. They called me and left a voicemail that they found it in the room. Had to turn around and get it but thrilled they were so honest. Also wiped down the sink and desk and not one speck of dirt. Very clean. Older furnishings but one night it was fine. Only thing I didn't realize when booked because I only read the reviews and didn't look at the pictures is that the rooms all had outside entrances. I prefer hotels where there are inside hallways to access rooms. Highly recommend this hotel for a stopover.

Overall good experience, the room was large, clean and had all your morning incidentals. Good customer service. Free breakfast with very good breakfast options, and the waffles were exceptionally good.

This property was clean,the staff was friendly and breakfast was ok. Was right off highway and was surrounded with restaurants, gas stations and convient stores. there is no need to write 200 caracters Way to much.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. There was a fair amount of road noise, if you leave the fan on, takes care of that! Walking distance to restaurants. Price was very reasonable ! All and all, a comfortable evening.

I stayed here for 3 weeks, and after the first day i had bites all over and didnt think much of it. I decided to inspect my bed, and not only found bed bugs but a syringe and rope under my matress! I complained and was offered 1 nighy free... and they told me I brought the bed bugs, So rude! I will never be staying at another best western. Stay away!!!

I have stayed here before. The property is clean and comfortable. I like to be able to park right at the door of my room. It is very easy to get on and off from I95 and the hot breakfast is a welcome perk. There is quite a menu choice and plenty of table space. I travel this route often and would stay again.

The beds were the most comfortable that we have ever had and we travel a lot. Would definitely book this hotel again. When you first drive up it doesn't look like much, but appearances are definitely deceiving.

room was damp, moldy spots on ceiling, caused allergy issues, staff friendly, did not go to breakfast, would not recommend this hotel if you have allergies, bed ok, bathroom had moldy spots on wall, sink area was roomy.

sheets were clean, breakfast was very frugal...would not stay here again due to the food stamp breakfast. Staff were nice and helpful. We enjoyed the out door pool one day, the other 2 days is was closed. The staff neglected to tell us it was closing. I went to the front desk to let them know we were staying a couple more days to enjoy the pool, next morning it was closed for the season. Should have let me know...Overall, ok for a one night stay.

I travel for business and stay at least half of my year at hotels. The visit to this hotel was because others were booked in the area that I normally stayed at. Not sure how I missed this gem! I can't explain how the staff was so welcoming and friendly as soon as I walked in! The rates are right on point and my room was so clean and bed was comfortable.

The staff whether they were Day, Evening, or Night, were pleasant, helpful, and cheerful. All of our request were handled quickly. We did not encounter anyone that didn't have a smile and a can do attitude. This is a very good hotel with a staff professional staff which are eager to help. It's been the best hotel I have stayed in over the last five years!

My family has two lovely German Shepherds and we travel with them often so it was lovely that they were welcomed at the Best Western. We stayed at the hotel for five days and they were very friendly and professional.The staff was great, the bed was average, the pool was cleaned daily which was a plus for my family.

Carpet was filthy; dusty and full of stains. I found a can of coke and plastic knife under the sofa chair. The room smelled horrible and they tried to cover it with horrible perfume. There were stains of the bathroom wall, mildew in the shower and dried bugs on the ceiling. To top it all the AC sounded like a plane taking off. Oh and the breakfast was bland and no many choices. It should be illegal to charge people to stay at that hotel. Best Western never again!

The staff was great. The bed was average. It was convenient and within walking distance to several restaurants. The pool looked very clean. Overall I was very pleased and would stay at this hotel again.

The employees were very helpful and easy to deal with. The room/hotel was a lot nicer than I expected it to be and the coffee was good too! I would definitely stay at this location again. To be honest probable the best Best Western that I have ever stayed at.

Very few places have the same idea of what clean means that I do. My room and bathroom were spotless. The quality of the mattress, bed linens and covers, pillows, pretty much everything, was on par with much more expensive options and new-item clean. I was very comfortable here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, from the front desk to the cleaning people. I told them I'd been travelling for a while and this was the first place I'd stayed that measured up to what they charged. Breakfast was simple and about what you'd expect as it's included in the room price, but it wasn't just a muffin either. In fact I thought it was very generous with a reasonable number of options. I can see why people rate this 4 stars instead of 5. It's not the Ritz. But if you expect the Ritz at this price you're not being fair. For what this is and for this price, this is definitely a 5 star option and should exceed your expectations..

The family and I stayed here for my stepson's graduation. The rates were reasonable and they offer free breakfast which is always a plus too. The outdoor pool and activity room were nice too. The room was a little small for a two double room though.

Overall everything was excellant.....would recommend this to everyone !!! After the extreme stress of an accident which totalled our car and having our pets with us on our way to moving to the state of Michigan.....all were unbelievably understanding to all our problems . Extreme THANKS to all who works there !!!

Great breakfast, and very nice staff. We had a room by the pool but there was a very noisy bunch there and I asked for another room. The employee at the front desk was very efficient and helpful and got us a new room in minutes. We were still able to enjoy the pool and had a very relaxing night. Only issue is the noisy AC but not a big inconvenience. The hotel was overall clean and comfortable.

After attempting to secure a room at another hotel, we were able to get an affordable room at this hotel. Quick check in and out as well as a courteous staff. We only spent one quick night on our trip but it was enjoyable despite not being able to get a room until late (due to the other hotel). I woudl recommend!

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The amenities were average. The facilities were clean and very convenient to MCDEC, restaurants and shopping facilities. The morning breakfast fare was not as good as other locations where we have stayed. The air conditioning unit had a fan that only ran on high which made it uncomfortable for sleeping.

Was there for a business visit was impressed with the service and breakfast choice loved the waffle station. Also really close to I95 easy access. Friendly staff and nice rooms. Many options for restaurants.

Have stayed here on travels from FL. This has always been a nice stop before DC (traffic is better in the morning). Professional staff, clean rooms and site. Resteraunts nearby that you can walk to. Nice hot breakfast in the morning that has an early start time.

We were part of a military reunion group. the hotel books a whole lot of bikers (Rolling thurnder weekend into DC) as well as young, non-sober (drugs, alcohol) 20-somethings into the hotel wih no security to police bad behavior. We ran away after one night because my wife was literally afraid and sick. DO NOT book this hotel unless you have your own personal security detail!!!

A very pleasant hotel close to I95. The Wi-Fi worked very well. The staff were very friendly. The Restaurant had good food and very good service. The breakfast was very good. The room was dark and needed more light.

The Hotel is very well located from Washington DC only 45 Minutes. The room is very comfortable with free Wi-Fi. There is a restaurant close by and the food was good and very good service. Breakfast was very nice and had everything you needed. The Office Staff were very nice.

We stopped at this facility after getting the book from the Welcome Center upon Entering Virginia. Called and asked is they had a room available. We requested a 1st floor and quiet. After experience of the night before i would not have chosen Best Western, but we have a member Gold Card and my husband was doing the driving. I have to say the girl that answered the phone when i called to ask about a reservation for about 20 minutes drivew away. She checked and came back with a "yes" and would hold the room for us. She was very pleasant, very helpful and nice to deal with. We arrived, all was as we asked, had a small, but Nice Clean, quiet room.. Nice comfortable CLEAN beds and the floor was not dirty or sticky in the bathroom as the accomodations of the night before. It was a good choice on my husbands part to give Best Western another try. (NOT BEING A Best Western PLUS??, I now wonder what that stands for??..) The breakfast in the AM was better than any other Best western that we have stayed the food and drink was over two entire walls, with about anything you could ask for in such Breakfasts. I would Highly recommend them to any traveler and would stay there again.

Affordable option for business trip to Virginia. I think the rooms are perfect sized for a single person. I would stay somewhere else if traveling with my family. Breakfast provided is good and with plenty of options.

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, but tub was slow to drain, hot water wouldn't shut off completely and AC unit did not properly cool/ the room was damp. Bedding was worn and old. Although I think some rooms had updated bedding , just not mine.

Location was convenient to the DC area. Plenty of restaurants and some shops nearby. Breakfast was served at 6AM making an early start possible. Selection was good. Some updated needed in the room but overall a good value for the money.

While traveling and needing a place with short notice, this location was both flexible and pleasing. I would stay there again as well encourage anyone needing rest in the area between prince william and spotsylvania counties.

First impressions were not great since first, the lock for the room we booked wasn't working (so we had to be relocated in another room with a different bed setup), then the internet wasn't working (the lady at the front desk couldn't tell why, and it was only fixed when we woke up the next morning). Besides this though it was good value and the room was clean and comfortable, which is the most important.

This hotel was excellent. I checked online price for hotel in this area. I tell you this hotel was cleanest I have ever stayed. In room everything was working fine . No complaints. When I will come to area this will be my stop.

First I wanted to say that check in was awesome. Stacy did a great job. Was very professional and helpful. Great job. The rooms are very dated. Police thru the lot twice in the evening. Stopped and talked to someone in the room. Breakfast was bland. I have stayed in worse but would not pick this motel.

The hotel is located right off the interstate and right next to several places to eat. Check in was extremely quick, Nicole was friendly and informative. The room was great and smelled clean and fresh. The room is well appointed and has a microwave and a small refrigerator. The bed was perfect, soft with plenty of pillows. The wifi was free and worked well for me. I would definitely stay here again.

Power went out in our home - we stayed 2 nights. The staff - fantastic & very nice! The room was so CLEAN & smelled so nice - NOT overbearing.... I even mentioned that to one of the staff members. Everything in the room was great - beds too! (Bedspreads...?) Our Boston Terrier loved staying there too! Breakfast was great! What a bonus to have washed clothes there!! Only complaint - WIFI & TV were out numerous times....NOT their fault - however, was thinking they could have compensated us for that as Comcast does that for all. Considering that the hotel was filled to the max...it was quiet! Loved staying there & so many dining options within walking distance!

The location is easy on easy off 95. The place it self could use some modernization. Updated bathrooms, HVAC system. WiFi very slow. Room was clean but worn. Terrible shower. Breakfast was in an old room next to the office. The usual staples, cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage etc. decent coffee.

We have been staying at this BW for six years twice per year. It is extremely convenient as it is right off RT. 95. The staff is professional, the rooms clean and the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is fine.

The reason I only gave it a 3 was the bedspreads needed to be replaced and also the rug. It's your typical motel room, however on saying that the room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, it had a fridge and freezer, coffee maker and microwave, the breakfast was really good, many choices and a cute room to enjoy. I was traveling with my dog. It's pet friendly the charge was 20.00

This BW has always been a favorite of ours driving down to Florida. The help is always friendly and the rooms very quiet. I would suggest the rooms in the back away from the office where there tends to be more traffic. They serve a very nice breakfast there and it is close to the Prince William National park that you can stop by a visit on the way. There are plenty of place to eat within walking distance as well as a pharmacy, subway, gas station and car wash.

We had a pleasant stay, the motel look of the building had us concerned until we came in and the staff was very welcoming. The room was great also, we definetly enjoyed our stay and will use this hotel in the future

The hotel is literally seconds from 95, very reasonable rates, but very outdated. I would rather pay a few more bucks to have a comfier, more appealing room. Breakfast options were mostly unhealthy junk!

We were on our way to Myrtle Beach from Canada and have stayed here before and were not disappointed this time either. There is a beautiful outside pool, neat clean grounds. Good restaurants in walking distance and a nice breakfast comes with the room in the morning. Rooms are clean and staff friendly.

The staff was great and very helpful. The hotel is clean. The bathrooms are a bit small. Its an older hotel and could use a face lift. The Air conditioner was loud but worked well. Great location as we were close to everything. Its a good 3 star hotel.

Do not stay here! Old building, not very clean. Outdated hotel concept. Feels like a motel from the seventies. I had A/C issues. Staff was rude and incompetent. Beds are not comfortable and the bedding didn't feel clean.

Pulling into the hotel, the broken curbstones littered across the entrance island make it look like a bit of a war zone. The helpful and friendly front desk staff and repair person did their best in the face of a broken hairdryer, temporary hot water shutdown, dead battery in the door keycard scanner, and prolonged offline WiFi service...This facility is about a decade overdue for a complete renovation!

We requested a non smoking king room. When booking we had noticed limited availability of rooms, and when checking in overheard a conversation confirming the hotel was sold out. Our room although marked on the door and inside the room as non-smoking reeked of cigarettes. We normally would have just returned the key and moved on; however we had been driving all day and knew that rooms were scarce. We informed the front desk, they offered to move us to a smaller room, but by the time this offer was made we were settled in. They said they would bring room deodorizer. Approximately thirty minutes later some kind of machine was brought to the room, we declined the machine and they again said they would bring a deodorizer. Thirty minutes later a bag of damp rid was delivered. Lol, "damp rid"? If you are a non-smoker this is not the hotel for you.

Clean hotel with exceptional service! Great location near restaurants and I95. We had a minor noise problem with the A/C unit but my room was changes without hesitation. Definitely would stay here again!

We were staying for a family event in your area, my wife, my daughter, and my 2 1/2 year old grand-daughter. The room was very nice and cozy. When my grand daughter needed to go explore the surroundings, we were able to without any problems. She loved the pool and the breakfast area the best!

After a long drive it was nice to be able to relax. It was quiet, even during the day. I arrived ahead of schedule but the staff took great care of me. They made sure my needs were met. BW was very close to my end destination so that took a lot of pressure off of me for the following morning. Thank you BW

This hotel was pricey, and did not meet my expectations for a BW. The Air condition unit was very loud, the room was ok, just OK Would I return here? I doubt it. The staff was great, moved me from an upstairs room to a downstairs room, after a lot of begging.

Extremely clean and nice rooms. The staff were nice and accommodating. There's a restaurant/bar next door that looked pretty popular. We asked to stay opposite from the restaurant and it was a quiet room. Free breakfast with eggs,bacon, and everything else included. Wonderful deal. We booked directly with best westerns 800 number and it was cheaper than third parties. Would definitely stay again. Great value.

Every year when I make my drive from Long Island to Williamsburg Virginia, I like to leave a day earlier to get a jump on the trip. We always stay at this Best Western Aquia in Stafford Va. The staff is so very nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Included in your stay is their complimentary hot breakfast. This includes eggs, fruit, bacon/sausage, pancakes, waffles etc. The room is very clean and spacious. They badge atv, coffee pot, mini fridge. Always a nice stay! *****5 starts on the stay!

Checking in was fine, except they provided keys that they never activated. Room was on the opposite side of hotel, so called front desk from Cell phone. Front desk said they would send someone immediately. So 15 minutes later, they finally show. Upon opening the door, the stench was so overwhelming I could not even walk in the door. Mold and mildew must have existed in the room although I never went in to look. I went back the the office and asked for another room, which they provided. The second room had the smell of recently being refurbished (New with new paint).

We stayed here while traveling and we were hauling a 12' trailer, the parking lot was large enough to maneuver through it and park. The hotel is a bit dated but, the room was clean and smelled nice. The breakfast room was well organized and had quite a bit of variety. The "tip jar" in the breakfast area was the only thing that gave it a less than stellar quality.

We stayed one night and all I can say is thank God. The minute we got in the room one of my children had to use the restroom and the toilet was backed up. and then later the night it backed up and ran on to the room. Then at 4:30a.m all the workers start up there vehicles and rev them up. The air conditioning units come on and are very very loud. Almost sound like a jet engine starting up. Wireless Internet seem to be sketchy and unreliable.

Good experience Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was clean and well kept up. Location was good also , right off route 95 North. The pool was also good, well kept up and clean. I would suggest this place to other family memebers

Landed here for a night and LOVED the pool for relaxation. Parked conveniently and found the front desk personnel very friendly and helpful. But, it needs general upkeep, facelift and updating. Loose screw plates behind the door, dusty corners, tired looking decor etc. the Christmas tree was still standing in the breakfast room (see picture from someone else...). Really liked my interactions with front desk, easy parking, great pool to relax in when on the go.

I have been traveling to Florida for years and I always stop in Stafford, VA. I stayed at different hotels in the area and I would like to say this is one of the best Hotel I have ever stayed. Most satisfying Stay I had. The Hotel staff is friendly. Their breakfast has variety which my family liked. and the pool and the area was just on top. I am definitely staying here for all my visit.

The location was close to my Veteran Fishing event, but over priced for the area. Room listed as non-smoking but I find ashes in the room and the carpet smelled of smoke and they haven't dusted behind large items in months!!!!!

Checked in after working a 14 hour work day at 130 am. I had parked in front of the restaurant, which is basically part of the hotel because there was no parking within 100 feet of my room. The unfriendly front deck attendant said i had to park way in the back of the parking lot, which was overfilled wih RVs, 18 wheelers and rucks towing trailers. The room smelled like a wet dog. I had to repark my car and then bring my stuff to my room from way away from the room. Lady at the front desk seemed to be annoyed I was checking in.

The hotel is pretty good, we had comfortable beds, adequate pillows, adequate towels, even conditioner. The room was quiet. Only complaint was that they turn off the fridge and you have to turn it on. We had to throw some stuff away. Breakfast was good- eggs, sausage, hashbrown mush, waffles, HB eggs, many fruit varieties including canned. Coffee, juice and 4 cereals. The pool was outdoor and pretty warm. Although it was a little dirty as though it hadn'tbeen skimmed in awhile. You need to get towels from tbe front desk. Initially they couldn't find my reservation because it was in my trip advisor name (foodie three) instead of my real name. The front desk woman patiently looked while we worked to get it figured out.

This BW was the first we've ever stayed in - we usually stay in pricey hotels, but needed to get off of the highway and this was the first place we saw. The room was clean and comfortable, the TV was huge and the hotel and grounds were beautiful. The staff was nice and very helpful.

Good location near interstate 95 , It has a motel style outside entryway to rooms. The rooms are of older style and need updating. The breakfast was not great, poor quality and slow to replenish. My Pet friendly room had a bad odor ( I probably should have expected that).

This property needs an upgrade desperately. It needs an "Adult Swim" at the pool as it was jam packed with children. When we opened the refrigerator, we had to clean it out because housekeeping didn't. There was a half bottle of orange juice, a cheap beer bottle, and a water bottle along with a box the cheap beer came in. The internet didn't work well at all. The bed was nice. The breakfast room was jam packed with families with children and was in complete chaos. It was messy, loud, and the gal did her best, but it was hard to maintain. I felt bad for her. You get what you pay for, so it was average in cost. Average in overall experience.

As I write this review it's 130 am and I have been awake since 1130 with loud music and women screaming and a horn or two blowing. It seems like their restaurant Micks (which serves mediocre food at best) has very lively nightlife. Also there was hair in our tub. It's a motel so I wasn't expecting much but I do expect a quiet nights sleep. Look elsewhere.

Its an old school hotel and was clean. Nicely landscaped pool, but needed to have towels outside for guests. Had to use room towels to dry off. It's a budget hotel and get all types of people staying there at various economic levels. May make some people uncomfortable. Overall it's safe and clean. Many reviews rave about food, We found it just okay. Coffee absolutely terrible, instant coffee and so hot it burns through the cup. Undrinkable!

Noisy rooms that open directly to the outside, staff not helpful, carpet on floor in room was sticky, construction on other rooms in the hotel overnight, and overall was very unsatisfactory. Would definitely not recommend or stay here again.

A good bargain, a bit worn perhaps, not 5 star. But clean and reasonably quiet. Very good service and staff. Could use more vending machines. Traffic into DC is a nightmare, even to Quantico can take some time (only 7 miles away).

Located off Hwy Rt1 this Best Western hotel is the best for your money outside the beltway in Stafford. The rooms are modern and very clean with a breakfast and staff that goes above and beyond other facilities that I have used over the years. I try to make this one of my stops during vacation. Various stores and service stations surround the hotel.

This is our place to go for our annual reunion-pool, reasonable rates, friendly staff, convenience to restaurants and highway. Rooms are a bit dated, but have separate sink for shaving. Wish they didn't allow pets.

Nice hotel and staff but I don't care for outside entries. I prefer interior halls. Wish I had noticed that in the reviews. You can hear people talking as they linger on the balcony/hall. Beds were comfortable, nice breakfast assortment. Wish we weren't in the front close to the club next door.

I loved the place it had a nice pool. The Breakfast they had was amazing. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns. Fresh fruit... it was great. Room was nice and clean, staff was friendly, for sure enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is easy to find if you are driving on I-95 and you need to stop for the night. The room is clean and it has nice updates for the price. The front desk was very helpful and provided us with the information needed. We had a good experience and our dog was comfortable in the room.

Needed a place to stay one night on our way to Outer Banks, I usually choose Best Western. Was a good stay here, room was nice, staff friendly and helpful, did not try free breakfast wanted to get on road, room was nice on pool side ( too early in season for pool) but grounds were nice. Good Stay.

This is a nice motel.The rooms were lovely and clean. The breakfast had lots of healthy options including fruit . There are places to eat nearby and gas stations. I would definitely stop there again. The beds were comfy and it has a nice pool and hot tub area that is seasonal.

We stopped here on short notice while driving from Maine to Florida. Found a nice clean room and fairly quiet. Folks were playing around in the pool and we could hear them as we were heading into our room. Might have been an issue if we were over by the pool. But once in our room couldn't hear the revelers. Breakfast was decent in the morning in a nice clean room. we

I really liked the location of this hotel. Close to I-95, restaurants close by, walking distance. The staff was very nice and also a good breakfast in the morning. The room was great and clean. Would go back.

Good hotel, excellent staff. Some attention to cleanliness of the room and door sill to keep out bugs/cold air needs to be addressed, otherwise all was fine. Food was good and plentiful. Staff members cheerful and helpful. A decent stay and would do so again.

I stayed at the BW Aquia/Quantico Inn for the fourth time this week and I've yet to be disappointed. I checked in on Thursday afternoon and the front desk was very accommodating with my requests for a certain area of the motel. My preference has always been to be in the back section of the facility and that is where I was able to stay. The room was quiet and clean with all the amenities working as needed. The outside of the facility is clean, well kept and quiet. While there is a "sports bar" restaurant next door, the area around the BW was quiet throughout the night. The morning breakfast each morning didn't disappoint. The breakfast room provides a wonderful variety of breakfast foods from scrambled eggs to fresh fruit, pastries, juice and coffee. Each of the items I have mentioned have kept me coming back year after year. Always a Great stay. Highly recommend.

Worst night sleep ever . Toliet did not flush properly. Good location. Lamps needed dusting and shower drain had hair in it . The restaurants run walk into stance. The rooms were small with a single chair that was also like sitting on a piece of plywood. Felt safe in this location for an outdoor entrance hotel but the bedroom the entire experience

We always enjoy our stay here at Best Western Aquia. Staff are very accommodating. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is really good. Their location is very convenient to family we visit and we always stay here when we visit.

Nice, convenient to Quantico Marine Station, clean, reasonable price, lots of restaurants and nearby. Would stay there again if traveling to that part of Va. Typical Best Western quality and service. I would recommend the Aquia/Quantico Inn for travel in this area.

To start, easy find off of I-95. Simple check-in procedure. Finding our room was a little confusing because I was too tired to remember the directions. Once we were there, the decor was lovely, but the beds were the best we had slept on this trip. The BW is located in walking distance of several restaurants and bars. Food and sleep were a requirement. The breakfast room is clean, and the food layout was very nice. A nice selection of fruit made my day. Eggs, omelets, biscuits and gravy made the others go "yum".

We were traveling with family and stop by at this hotel. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend for anyone if looking for a budget hotel with excellent service and breakfast.

for what they charge per night for a room i felt was a bit high..very noisy! we were quoted 76.50 and ended up paying 106.50 the carpet was vacuum , but was dinghy and soiled i didn't want to take my shoes off! the coffee maker is terrible! leaked and only one cup per pot ..no television guide for channels, and the heater was noisy needless to say we didn't get any sleep!

We are searching areas to retire and stayed here to look at Fredericksburg and Richmond. We always use Best Western's as we have their rewards card which gives us additional perks when staying with them. We also enjoy the convenience of having the continental breakfast on site in the morning.

I have stayed here several times as it is close to a project location where I am working. The hotel is not fancy but for the price it is more than adequate. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is a full breakfast. The rooms and style of the hotel is a bit on the "old" side but the rooms are comfortable and clean.

The hotel was very clean, the room furnishing was very nice. The room had a place to sit and work, free/fast internet service. The owner seems to be updating the hotel rooms. Breakfast was good. They've had soy milk 2 times that I stayed here which was nice as I need to avoid cow's milk. Exercise room as of Oct 2016: -the eliptical machine was out of service, -the treadmill worked, but was noisy; the cardio sensing mechanism didn't work - there was also a bicycle and weights that I didn't use.

Not a classy place to put up wedding guests. More of a truck stop motel. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure was awful in room. Other then that it's your standard motel. Price is cheap so if you not picky it's decent.

The bar next door presents problems. The night we stayed, a woman was pounding on doors cussing and yelling while looking for someone. The police were called and there was a lot of commotion. When the bar let out, crowds were in the parking lot yelling, dancing and being rude and obnoxious. I would not recommend this place, and especially with children.

This hotel has not been updated in YEARS. Dark, dank room with old furnishings. Mattress was pretty good and room was relatively quiet but exterior room doors are sketchy at best. Furniture was used and abused. WiFi was TERRIBLE--you get on for approximately 1-2 minutes then kicked off for over an hour before it would reappear--worthless, just aggregates enough to make you give up. Breakfast was decent. Would not return, would look elsewhere

Hotel room was outdated. And DO NOT get a room in the back...the parking lot was used for patrons of Mick's sports bar and they were loud and obnoxious blasting music (with bass) until midnight (maybe later, but that is when I moved rooms) My new room (211) was quiet, but had a nice hole in the bathroom wall and did NOT have WIFI service.

We needed a hotel in this area for an overnight stay for a family of 3 while on a roadtrip and booked at this location based on the positive reviews. I honestly have not stayed at a Best Western in years and my past experience were never great. This location however was a nice surprise. The room was very traditional as far as budget hotel decor but the bed was good, linens were clean, everything worked well, room had a nice largish flat screen TV with HD and the bathroom was spotless. We also partook of the breakfast and it was better than expected as well. This hotel was a steal at the under $70 price paid. It honestly did not look like much from the outside, and it's proximity to the interstate meant it was not the quietest room in the world, but I would not hesitate to stay here again. Well done!

We had a pleasant stay and could see others were relaxed and enjoying there stay as well, even with children and pets. The breakfast area was clean and the best selection. Rooms were clean and did not smell like cigerattes!

This was the best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. The place was beautifully decorated, the rooms very spacious, and the breakfast was first class. I highly recommend this hotel. I only wish we could have stayed longer in this area because I felt so comfortable there.

Stayed for business. Wouldn't recommended to anyone. It is sad because the location is good. The room A/C not functioning properly. Makes too much noise. They need to upgrade the mattress and decor. Many other newer hotels in the area to choose from.

First, the bad. I made reservations via the Best Western 1-800 number and received a confirmation stating that everything was fine and all set. Upon arrival, that was not the case. I had to show my drivers license and they wanted my Best Western number, which was on my laptop. After about 20 minutes or so, they finally figured things out and we obtained our room [sigh]. Inside the room was some "white" powder all over the place including the bathroom. Did not know what it was, but cleaned it up. Tried to use the Wi-Fi but that did not work, indicating it was an invalid password. Went to front desk and they gave me a number to call to resolve the problem. I called the number and the man on the other end kept saying that the login was "case sensitive". I knew that and did everything correctly. Then he stated that something was wrong with my computer. With that said, I hung up and figured out the problem myself. When you login, do not take the "yes" option indicating that you have a login name and password. Take the "no" option and it will work fine taking you to a sign in screen. When leaving the room, you have to really slam the door shut because of the lock mechanism sticking. The room itself, was your average Best Western room, nothing fancy. They do have an outdoor pool. Now for the good - the breakfast is really good! You can have eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, fruit, on and on and on. Directly next door is a Sport's bar {Mick's] where you can have dinner and drinks and it is very walk-able to get to. The landscaping around the Best Western was pleasant, especially around the pool area.

My friend and I stopped at this hotel on the way to the beach. We were completely happy with everything . We arrived late and the desk lady was so nice and helpful, it really is refreshing to have someone just be nice ! A lot of times people are surly and unhelpful . I mean I'm the one paying for services and most times you would not know it ! Room was fine for price. Location is terrific . Right off 95 so you don't have to go wondering far and waste time. And the best part ?! The breakfast!!! So delicious . It truly is the best I've had. I plan on returning in November on another trip through with my family and hopefully I can make this our regular stop. Be proud of your staff ,they are great !

If you have a dog,you are a woman traveling alone this Best Western is a safe place for you and your dog. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The dog walking area is lit and has poop bags also. Good breakfast and plenty of other places to dine in the area.

Pet-friendly room very clean. Brand new refrigerator. Sometimes a bit noisy early in the evening from other guests talking outside. We have no problem sleeping as the mattress is extremely comfortable. Staff friendly and the breakfast good. Great location.

Good hotel with a low price tag. Breakfast, which is included is good. Our room was It was a bit noisy as it was located fairly closely to the bar next door - revelers were a bit noisy when the bar closed down at 2:00 am.... Room was clean and well equipped. Will have to be sure to ask for an interior courtyard room next time.

Great place to stay, wonderful staff at front desk and housekeeping. When out of their way to help us. Could not ask for nicer people. Great clean room and very comfortable beds, and a great breakfast in the morning.

The check-in process was okay. Experienced a friendly but new employee needed some assistance in understanding my reservation, asked for assistance from the manger. But she was very honest and explained that she had recently just started working at the hotel. An additional few minutes was no problem. I was quickly advised that the hotel's pool was temporarily out of service for maintenance, but there was a spa in the fitness center. I was also advised of the location for the complimentary breakfast as well. Upon arrival to my room, I noticed that a renovation might be suggested. The furniture appeared somewhat worn, bathroom fixtures were well worn as well. They were functional however. TV was in good condition, bed was okay with multiple pillows for comfort. I noticed washing machines for use, and some vending areas. Slept well, the area seemed very quiet. Mostly businesses in the area. There was also a large theatre and a few restaurants in the area. Noticeably there appeared to be a Mexican style restaurant, McDonalds, and the hotel is located next to a sports bar! Easy access to Route 1 and 95 North and South. Quantico Marine Base is also very close. Check out was friendly and fast, very nice front desk staff. I would recommend this hotel for a family that needed a no-frills stay with a free breakfast and a desire to stay close to a military base or as a stop enroute to a Northern Virginia attraction.

Not the most luxurious by any means, but you certainly get good value for your money. This hotel is very conveniently situated to the highway and the Marine base, and is an excellent place for visiting families.

Everything about this motel was more than satisfactory. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, location was fine, price was reasonable. Pet friendly, with plenty of dog-walking area. But what we will remember most is the really fine complimentary breakfast provided! A buffet of fresh fruit, a wide selection of pastries, great coffee, waffle maker, and a friendly, helpful employee there to help and assist as needed.

Hotel was very clean, rooms clean, however refrigerator was not turned on prior to arrival and thus didn't get cold. Cost for pets a little steep compared to LaQuinta which is free. Everything else was great especially the breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel.

If you're in Stafford - this hotel is the place to stay - convenient to restaurants, I95, shopping, some business, Quantico, etc. We stay at this hotel every time we are in Stafford. The continental breakfast is great! They offer everything you could want! Pool, hot tub, Mick's bar and Carlo O'Kellys are within within walking distance if you're so inclined!

I had a chance to stay at the Best Western Aquia/Quantico Inn for one night. I checked in rather late and was greeted by the night auditor. The check in went smooth. The property is well maintained for there was no trash on the grounds. We were put into room 121, a ground floor room facing the pool. The room was very clean and bigger than I expected. The beds were also very comfortable. The room offered a large flat screen television, mini refrigerator, and microwave. All of the in-room amenities worked perfectly. The bathroom was also very clean. The breakfast was above average and very tasty. Check out was a breeze. The only negatives I have is that I noticed a little mold above the shower and the ceiling peeling a tad. In addition, the Wifi was spotty but overall it was a wonderful stay. I would stay at this hotel again if given the chance. It is perfectly located off I 95.

Traveling south for vacation and needed a place to rest with my family, breakfast included. Breakfast selections for both adult and children. The location is right off the highway exits and near other businesses.

I lucked into this hotel after an unpleasant experience with another local chain. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, pleasant and had all the amenities I needed (TV, Wifi, coffeemaker, refrigerator, shampoo and a pleasant bathroom.) Although, I don't use a pool the hotel had a lovely one surrounded by a beautiful little garden which was blooming with roses this June, A very generous breakfast was offered that included eggs, bacon waffles and the usual breads, cakes and drinks, but also added a good assortment of fresh fruit. It is also situated along a route with a large number of good chain restaurants, convenience stores, all within a mile or less, and directly off the major highway. Finally, my favorite amenity was the convenience, if staying on the ground floor, to park at your door and just wheel your heavy suitcase right into the room.

I found this property to be very nice. My room had been updated with a nice bathroom. I had a view of the pool and garden area. Parking was convenient. My front desk experience was excellent with a very friendly and efficient staff. The complimentary breakfast was far better than I have had recently. The breakfast room staff takes care in presentation and freshness of products. The variety was great, something for everyone from waffles, eggs, bacon, fruit, pastries, yogurt, cereal and more! It is right off the interstate and a very reasonable rate if you want to stay before going into DC, about 40 miles away. There is a movie theater close and a restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Check out this motel. Very reasonably priced. Actually for the price it was way beyond what we expected. Clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was more than we've seen. Several types of fresh fruit, several egg choices. Great place to stay.

I had to stay in a hotel due to a last minute delay in my home settlement.....I spent 11 nights,, was treated very well...even my dog....hotel staff were very friendly and helpful....Good breakfast each morning...I would stay there again...

Every time I stay in the Stafford Va. area I always stay at the Best Western Inn it's clean and the updates are nice welcome. The staff is always ready to accommodate you the breakfast is always nice. The area's has a few restaurants near by I have stayed there 4 times so far. The bed is nice you get 4 pillows thay set out the usual stuff like soap and shampoo lotion but they also give you a makeup cleaner to wash your face with I thought that was a nice touch.

Was very clean and well maintained. Nice staff . Was treated very well by staff on the phone when I called with questions. I moved to this hotel after an extremely horrible expierence at another one. Was nice to come into a hotel and treated with that level of respect.

This was by far the cleanest and most comfortable Best Western I have stayed at. The breakfast choices were many and well laid out., and plenty of seating..The location was perfect, right off of interstate 95. The staff was helpful with giving me directions, and professional in appearance.

Well you've heard you get what you pay for this Hotel is out dated you asked for a nonsmoking room but most of the rooms smell like they been smoked in the bed sheets always feel damp like the don't dry them all the way the head lady of house keeping is very rude and very unprofessional my husband and I travel a lot and used to stay a that location quite a bit but will no longer ever stay there again due to a situation that happened over our pet the head housekeeper and the owner/ long story short anytime an employee calls a customer liars and curses them and the management defends his employee over a customer when in this situation she crossed the line we was in the right well its not a place ill spend my money , the only good thing was that the price was the cheapest witch wasn't worth the problem the breakfast is good plenty to choose from would I recommend this establishment no ,def not . also used to have issues with the wifi witch was frustrating

Excellent accomodations. I would NOT hesitate to stay there again. Everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was an exceptional value. Overall experiance was an A+ It will be on my list to check out on future trips.

This hotel is a clean and comfortable place at a very good price., and is pet friendly literally, my dog which is very well behaved, was welcomed. The room was located on the first floor and across from the pet walking area. A lot of value for the buck!

Very quick checkin/checkout. We were offered a Best Western membership and took advantage of the offer. The Breakfast offered was great and the staff friendly and outgoing. Overall, would stay at Best Western on our next visit to area.

A bit long in the tooth, but clean and neat. Was a bit noisy on Friday night because ot the restaurant/bar next door. The bass from the bar's music was noticeable well after bed time. The arrangement of the room is inconvenient. The sink area is outside the bathroom and directly in line with the rest of the room. Thus if one person is sleeping, the other person can't use the sink area without disturbing the sleeper. Bathroom light has to be turned on from the sink area--so either you risk waking your partner when going to the bathroom or attempt to use the bathroom in the dark. Hairdryer was underpowered and barely adequate. Beds were comfortable, Internet worked very well. Staff was friendly and cordial. They do have a nice pool and outdoor area--but it was too cool at this time of year for use. Breakfast was much better than at most breakfast included places. It is very convenient to Aquia Harbor, especially if you are visiting someone living there. If we need a hotel next time we're there, we'd stay here again.

The room we had faced a courtyard with pool and lawn which a large family had taken over playing ball and yelling for several hours. Even after someone from the office asked them to remember the curfew they kept it up in smaller groups outside our room.

Check in was efficient as was check out receiving my printed bill. My room on the second floor was clean, bed was very comfortable after a long day of driving. Several options for dinner meal though I just chose to eat my cooler food. The breakfast room had several choices for starting the day. Mae was a delight in conversation and just as helpful. I would/will stay here again. Prices were just right too.

This hotel was clean, staff accommodating and friendly, and the price is right! Many pet friendly hotels are left dirty, but not this one. You wouldn't even know pets were allowed because of the cleanliness!

Had a great experience with checking in late. The desk staff were helpful and very nice. The breakfast area had a great set up! Lots of items and the hours were reasonable. The only con is that there is no elevator and the building is 2 stories. The staff was helpful in assisting with carrying the bags.

This hotel was a great surprise! We usually stay in the area on our way from upstate NY to SC, as the half way point. When we couldn't get a reservation in our usual spot, and we found the rates outrageous in some of the suite type hotels, we picked this hotel because we received a surprisingly low rate for the Sat night. It was a tremendous value! Although the hotel is somewhat dated, a wee bit retro, it was absolutely spotlessly clean and well maintained. It had beautiful gardens around the property, as well as a well appointed pool and hot tub. Clearly well managed. The breakfast set up was one of the best we have found and the dining attendant a lovely lady with a big "Good Morning"! Location good since after sitting hours in traffic getting through DC on the day of arrival, we could walk to several eateries. Mall and additional restaurants nearby if one wanted to get back in the car. Again, great value.

Very clean facility and staff were very polite and professional. Great breakfast and a choice of items to consume. Close to several eating establishments and drug and gas station. Variety of smoking and non-smoking rooms and animals are allowed if you have that need.

Arrived at 8PM, left at 5AM for drive north. Very noisy sports group on same floor. Easy check-in with online reservation. WiFi in room was free but VERY DIFFICULT to connect. Missed free breakfast which started at 6AM. Bed was comfortable for short sleep time.

First room given was not clean and bed was used to include trash in the cans. Second room was ok, older furniture and bed to include pillows. Not a very comfortable sleep. The door was hard to close, needed to slam it due to it being warped.

I was very pleased with the hotel. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean. I would definitely stay here again especially since the price I paid for the room was a great value.

We were pleased with this hotel. It was easy check in and out, rooms were clean and had our needs re: towels, etc. It was a very pleasant experience that we had to chose at the last minute as we were just traveling with no specific agenda. It was also pet friendly, though I do not recall the charge for the pet I think it was reasonable. I think they should be fair regarding the pet and the size of the pet also.

This served our purpose nicely. A room to get a good night's sleep to travel on. Good price, pets welcomed. Quiet and convenient to the interstate. Had all the fun amenities that make your stay special. Shower cap, shoe shine wipe, makeup remover wipe along with coffee, tea and soaps and lotions. Eateries close by. Fast food and sit down relax and enjoy. Movie theater close by. Neat, clean and very well maintained. Good deal going through trip advisor. Saved $20

Stopped here for one night on return from Myrtle Beach, checked in around 9pm.front desk staff was great very helpful. Room clean and comfortable. But at midnight suddenly the place came alive....there was a couple fighting (the f-bomb every other word, and we now know their entire history), ice machine was used continuously throughout the night, and people returning from evenings out. Just when things quieted down the morning crew got going and they were seeking revenge on the night noise crew. Doors slamming ice machine started again but now we are filling coolers, children screaming, suitcases rolling....We should have just driven through the night. If you stay here bring ear plugs. But again staff was super helpful, and did a great job.

I was on a business trip and am in the area often. I don't want to spend a lot of money but do want to be in a safe environment. I enjoyed a comfortable bed, wake-up service, internet access and the on-site restaurant. The hotel provided breakfast but I did not take the opportunity to try it. Maybe next time.

We arrived at 9pm and although the first room was meant to be non smoking it smelt of cigarette smoke. Upon asking, it was no trouble for us to be moved to another room which was very clean and comfortable. The guy at the front desk was super helpful and made sure everything was just right for us. Hot breakfast included omelette, scrambled and boiled eggs and hamburger patties. There were pastries, cereals, breads, waffle maker, yogurt, fruit (canned and fresh selection), coffee, tea and juices. Overall we had a very good experience at this hotel.

The hotel was just plain and simple for a few nights stay. Nothing special. Does have a pool and hot tub that wasn't open but looked nice. It's in a nice area with a lot going on. The beds and pillows were my favorite part.

This property is your typical Best Western motel. The rooms are very much like your standard Best Western motel. Rooms are clean in every way but obviously lived-in. Toiletries are not the best, but they work. By that standard I have zero complaints. However, I have to call out the wifi especially for some really good service. The signal was always strong and never dropped. The speeds were fantastic. This wifi would put some more luxurious and modern chain hotels to shame. Kudos to the proprietors for knowing what's important in life.

Hotel was accessible off the highway, room was very neat and clean, beds were very comfortable. Reception area was welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful. They served various choices which made it nice for my husband and I as travelers to eat a hearty breakfast before traveling on.

We stopped here on a road trip. Great location right off 95, good places to eat in walking distance. Room was good size, bed OK, clean. Nice garden by the pool, not that it was pool weather. Health club but marginal. Breakfast was OK

Very nice hotel clean and comfortable beds. Very good complementary breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff. Quick check in and check out. Good service . Great location. Near shopping and restaurants. Nice pool are with a separate hot tub. I'm definitely stopping here again next year.

We were in town to visit our son at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico. The hotel is centrally located and convenient. The stay was excellent. I have stayed at this location at least 5 different times and has been great in all visits. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

Stayed with family and friends on our way to North Carolina. The Inn was clean well maintained and an incredible value. The breakfast room offers something for everyone, it's fresh and delicious.I highly recommend staying here.

We have been here before and come back whenever we are driving up or down the I95 corridor. What especially stands out is the caring, friendly, and helpful staff, particularly in the office, bu also in the maintenance area. And, they serve as excellent breakfast. We recommend this location highly.

Terrifically friendly, caring, and helpful staff. And a great breakfast to boot. They do a wonderful job to make the place inviting to their guests. It is also convenient to I95 and there are many restaurants in the immediate area. This is about our fifth stay -- everytime we drive by the area, and it will certainly not be our last.

Dingy, Depressing. Yes, convenient to the interstate, but best thing about it was leaving. Not sure how they got the good reviews that led us to book, but this was anything but bright and cheerful. Housekeeping comes knocking at early hour, though by then most customers have fled anyway. Would not stay here again.

Professional at check-in- pet friendly- dog walking area a big plus with poop bags. Room was clean and bright, comfortable breakfast was varied, hot and tasty- varieties of yogurt,breads,danish,etc. i feel very safe when i stay here with my dog

Clean, comfortable rooms. Slept like a baby. Wonderful staff. Would definitely stay there again. Clerk who checked us in went out of her way to help us with any questions we had. Had planned on going further on I95, but traffic delayed us 2 hours and we found this Best Western. Glad we did.

My stay was great here, the check in was fast, the receptionist was funny and so polite, the room was clean and the bed was very very comfortable it was hard to get out of bed to drive home the next day. I actually considered spending another night . :)

Stayed here for 30 days, value was little low and the room was small but it was clean and the housekeeping folks were great. Good average business hotel and close to Quantico Marine Corps Base. Close to I-95 and Shopping in Stafford, Va.

I commute to Stafford often 5-6 times a year and have stayed in most of the hotels in and around Stafford / Quantico. This was my least favorite. It was clean and the service was fine, but it was kind of old and out dated and felt more like a MOTEL than a Hotel. No serious complaints, its just NOT THAT NICE.

We were there in January of 2016 We used this hotel in the past to crash for the night on our way back from Florida and this is still a good place to stop since it is near the I-95. Our last stay did not differ much from our previous stay. (Read my previous review of this place for details and pictures) The place is still very clean, the staff is still very professionnal and helpful, and the breakfast is still the best breakfast you could ask for with a wonderfull selection and a lot of fresh fruits. The only downside that we experienced this time was the Wi-Fi that kept dropping. We reported the issue and were just answer that "Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it does not.". This was not a satisfying answer and I think they should address this issue. There are a couple of workstation available in the lobby but it is not as practical as working in your own room. I would definitely go back and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my friends and family if the price is right. I really think that this is one of the best choice in that area.

Dated hotel, lots of hot water, NO HOT TUB AS STATED IN RESERVATION! The breakfast made the stay.people at front desk had Oh to bad attitude and offered to let us out of our reservation at 8:30 at night. WO HOO! thanks for nothing.

We were able to check in early which was a huge plus. Our initial room had an issue with the heat not working. Normal this would not have been a problem but the low was going to be 25 that night. Informed manager on duty and he promptly moved us to a different room. He apologized more than once for the inconvenience. Breakfast is great. Rooms are warm and inviting. Brand new Wifi. Great staff and a great price

I was traveling from Pennsylvania to North Carolina and needed a place to crash for the night. The Best Western was Inexpensive, friendly, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. What else do you need?

My partner and I were traveling through the area. It was late and we needed a place to stay overnight with our dog. We didn't have a reservation or anything. We showed up and they were very helpful. They even got us a room on the first floor in the back near the grass so it was easy to take the dog out. They were friendly and everything was very easy. We had a solid breakfast the next morning and were able to be on our way, well-rested, and fed.

Happy that I found this place on my recent trip. If you are looking for a place to stay off Route 95 in Virginia don't hesitate to stop. The rooms are very well decorated with many nice amenities. Traveling on 95 can be such a hassle. Stopping here made the trip so much more enjoyable.

I know this is a budget hotel, but the next time I'm in the area, I'll find somewhere else to stay. The room was adequate, but the heat sounded like a jet taking off whenever it came on. There was one thin blanket on the bed (we were hoping to avoid being constantly awakened by the heat by keeping it low). When we called down for another blanket, the response was a somewhat annoyed, "I'll see what I can do." (Fortunately, the blanket did arrive.). It was the Thanksgiving holiday, and I know the staff would rather be home, but the obvious irritation at having to work seemed to be endemic. Particularly annoying was housekeeping knocking at our door at 8:00 in the morning (which was 5:00 am for us Californians) and basically saying did we want our room serviced or not because she was ready even if we weren't. WiFi sort of worked In one spot in our room. Breakfast was decent, with more options than I expected (waffle and pancake makers). If the staff had tried even a little, I would have given it one more star. As it was, I'd prefer to try another hotel.

I really enjoyed staying here with my two dogs ($20.fee per night). The motel was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is great except for the traffic. There is A LOT of traffic just outside the grounds. But the area is safe - walked my dogs all around at night (single woman alone). Highly recommend this motel.

I have stayed several times here, and it is adequate for a few nights sleep. The beds could stand to be a little softer, but the pillows are good. It's just plain ordinary. The room is clean, and standard. The breakfast offers fruit that is a mixture of canned and fresh in one container. The scrambled eggs and omelettes have a slightly fishy taste. There is a fair assortment of baked goods. There is a waffle maker, and a pancake maker. There are several cereal choices, including oatmeal packets. There are at least two juice choices, and a few flavors of yogurt. All very basic, and adequate. It is clean, and not fancy at all. The staff is nice enough.

This is a great hotel for seeing D.C., battle fields, shopping, and so much more. We have stayed at this location before. The breakfast is great (and included in hotel price). Our beds needed replaced - deep grooves in the bed.

A clean room, which is so hard to come by anymore; great location, just off I95 and close to tons of restaurants; good breakfast offered, great service - all this for a great price. We would definitely recommend checking this place out!

This hotel ws very pleasent, along with the great price, it was clean, had a nice pool and great restaurant, as well as a full free breakfast. Staff was very polite and accommodating. The restaurant had a great Halloween costume party, very friendly people. There was also a fire pit outside. We did have to take the stair to the room, so you may need to consider that, if it's an issue. overall great place!

Hotel is old needs updated, door did not lock, air conditioner filter stunk needed changed. Needs more lighting in vanity area and a exhaust fan in bathroom. You could also hear people partying in parking lot; there is a bar adjacent to the hotel.

Thin walls made for a noisy night. Room was recently redone. Clean. Staff was nice enough, but took breaks outside our room & were loud. Noisy party going on all night was not stopped after calls were made. If you go here, don't pass up on the breakfast. It was the best I've ever seen in a moderately priced restaurant.

Hotel was great. The staff was very nice. The food was very good tasting food (no sour fruit). The fitness center wasn't the greatest but it did have a weight machine. It was also very easy to check out. How many more characters are needed to make this review...

Had a great experience from reservations, through confirmation, and was able to bring my K9 with us. Quick access from I-95 and located near several restaurants from fast food (24 hour McD's) to fine dining, movie theater in walking distance along with a pharmacy and even a 7-11. Staff was particularly interested in making sure we enjoyed our stay.

Very clean, well maintained, nice crew. Great location, right near anything you need (got some great pizza and gyros delivered) but still quiet at night. Just a good comfortable stay with no problems.

My wife and I and our two dogs usually travel I81 to Windchester Virginia to the Best Western. We decided to travel I95 this time and found this motel. The motel does allow pets and their pet policy is limit two dogs, $20. We checked in on 10-26 and the cost is $91 plus $20 for our pets.Found the lobby to be very clean and the desk employees were very friendly. The room was fully equipped and was cleaned. Beds were very comfortable. This is a two story motel and does have exterior doors where you can park by your room. Appearance of the motel and parking lot was clean.Does have a free breakfast. Breakfast area very clean and the attendant in the breakfast area very friendly and helpful. A very good breakfast bar with a good selection. All the employees were friendly and helpful. Stayed another night, 10-27. Checked out, however, came back and stayed the 10-28. Everything the same. Came back on 10-1 and checked back in. Only complaint was the desk clerk was rude. Everything else fine. Stayed another night for a total of five nights. The room price the first two nights was $110 each night. Next stay, the room was $86. The last two nights the charge was $93 each night. Only complaints, one rude desk clerk and carpet was not clean. Would recommend this motal

Great stay people were very accommodating rooms were nice, clean and beds were comfy. Nice size TV and great breakfast to start the day. Checkout was very quick and staff couldn't be anymore helpful than they were thank you Aquia/Quantico

Great stay everything was so clean and orderly. No bad comments to make as the stay was excellent for me and my guess. Breakfast was hot and a pleasant choice of items to select from. Staff was there to refill empties.

Lovely place to stay. The check-in station is very inviting with seasonal decorations. Office staff very pleasant. Room very comfortable and breakfast amazing. The breakfast room was very nicely decorated and the gal that prepared the food was very pleasant.
