    « Great Stay!!! »

Love staying at this Best Western!!! It's located near great restaurants and centrally located for my business needs. The service is always superb and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. Breakfast is always hot and delicious.

    « Just Passing Through »

for the night, it might have been a bit pricey but the suite was worth it. Close enough to walk to a restaurant and sidewalks available for others. very clean rooms and the beds are super comfy. Breakfast the same BW breakfast but it's an A for consistency. Having ice water available for travelers would be so nice.

    « A real nice BW Plus »

The front desk lady was a real friendly and helpful person. Check in was a breeze. The lobby area appears very clean and inviting with lots of snacks and coffee. The room was clean beyond my expectations, the bathroom the same. The bed is quite nice and inviting, real soft. Air conditioner is great and quiet. The room is quiet. I will stay here again next time I am in town.

    « Loved this place »

Stayed here for 4 nights. Easy access to I-25. Room was very clean and we were given plenty of clean towels every day. Lots of homeless people wandering around ABQ, but the hotel seemed secure. I loved the breakfast buffet, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, muffins, it was all very good. Free WiFi, nice big TVs, and sanitary remotes! I would recommend staying here to anybody.

« One thing after another »

Our stay was just lame. First there was the endless battle about removing state tax from a room paid for by the federal govt- citing NM state law, and apparently ignorant of the Supremacy Clause. Particularly annoying since the Best Western at the airport in ABQ managed to remove it last week with no trouble. Meanwhile no coffee cups in room... defeats the in room coffee maker concept completely, gym doesn't open until 7am which is ridiculously late in the morning. What business traveler has time to wait until 7 to START a workout? Can't run on the road as it is essentially a glorified I25 entrance ramp/ frontage road for miles. They manage to get breakfast going by 6 why can't they open the gym door? Because the desk staff doesn't even have a key and the thing is accessed through the pool which is hard closed to the room keys until 10am. Room was clean. Staff were nice. But that could have been said of a $40 Motel 6 too since the amenities were unavailable and lowered this place to that level.Really not impressed. Pretty much over Best Westerns entirely after this trip. ??

    « A Great Place to Stay »

I have found this hotel as a great place to stay while in Albuquerque. It has always been very clean, well kept, and comfortable. I always need a reliable high-speed internet, and have been pleased with the service they provide. My wife and I use this hotel anytime we are in Albuquerque, especially north of I-40. And the easy on and off of I-25 is just an added benefit. We really enjoy staying at Best Western Plus Executive Suites in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

    « Very Nice Stay »

Check in and check out went without a hitch, room was great, no arguments over TV with two choices and desk clerk remembered us when we returned for another night a week later. Buffet breakfast was very good.

    « Great stay/Super value! »

Based here for our stay in ABQ. We were there to hike and the location could not have been better, really close to the Sandia mountains. Lovely big room with separate sitting area. Very pleasant staff at reception. Housekeeping was terrific. Nice hot breakfasts which fueled us for the day's outing. Breakfast room attendants worked hard and kept everything replenished. Please remember to tip them and the hardworking housekeepers! Good Wifi as well. Only quibbles and they are minor: the wastebaskets in the room were tiny, need to be larger. Also on the 3rd floor the shower really never got really hot. We'll be back and will stay here for sure

    « Restful Sleep »

We liked the accessibility of the hotel, the extra doors in the room (king suite) really kept out any noise, so we slept well. The showers are not made for people over 6'0 - - low show ceiling and shower head. The breakfast was pretty good -- I was not feeling especially well, so the strawberry syrup on the floor that looked like blood was kinda grossing me out, but when I told the front desk, they said it wasn't a big deal. And it probably wasn't, but I was grumping about it. For whatever reason, there were a lot of smokers (like 5) outside the front doors at breakfast, so every time the doors opened, the smoke came into the breakfast area. Again, maybe not a big deal (especially if you're a smoker), but since I wasn't feeling well, it bugged me. We did not have time to use the pool or workout room.

« Not the best "Western" »

The staff was friendly but the hotel is not well run. They were out of towels, the blanket for the pull out bed was missing from the room and they also said they were all out of blankets. The ac unit in the room was very noisy not connected to vents so there was a separate noisy fan you had to turn on the have air flow into the suite.

    « Nice Stay »

Enjoyed my stay at the Best Western. I was here for a conference - the location was convenient and easy to get too, breakfast was nice, rooms were clean and comfortable. Stayed here last year and will stay again.

    « Great choice! »

Great value, as they honored AARP discount. The staff was friendly. Nice location-- easy to get to off the freeways. B'fast was good with lots of hot and cold offerings; just hard to keep stocked with demand on weekends. We'd stayed here to and fro our snowbird trip to Arizona.

    4
    « Big and roomy »

We stayed here for girls night out. I picked this particular hotel becuase we've stayed here before and had a wonderful stay. Everything was good except for some small issues. The furniture in the living room wasn't the greatest. I was a bit dated, and the pullout bed wasn't comfy. So I stuffed the couch cushions under the cot mattress to get some support.(as u can see on the pic) Plus, there was no blanket or comforter for the pullout. So I used a blanket that I beought from home. The coft felt lumpy and wirey. The wood floor had a large scuff mark and appeared worn out. The table wasnt very comfy either. It was a cheap bar stool wire thing. With no softness, just a cheap plastic mat. There was no hair drier in the room. Which was a disappointment. The room was clean and roomy. And kitchenette was a nice surprise. The breakfast buffet downnstairs was filling and had a good selection of items. The staff did a good job keeping the food stocked. The front desk lady was helpful & was always cheerful when we checked in & out. Overall it was a nice stay, but needed some improvements to get a higher rating from me.

    « Very Pleased »

This was the best Best Western Plus we have stayed at. Excellent customer service, clean room, great Keurig coffee maker and the ONLY usable sofa bed in a separate room that we have found and which is why we book suites. Thank you for providing what you advertise.

    « good people,room more than adaquett! »

this is great for 2 week visit location good in all directions,.draw back is getting out heading east on montgomery.you'll learn the semi-circle!certainly would not want to stay more than 2 weeks.you would find larger 1/1 units for rent on airbnb.their is also that draw back of not physically seeing unit as to how it is described, do your homework the ne corridor of abq are the only ones we stay in ,unless your business takes you to town ,if so stay at the embassy !

    « Great hotel »

Was a great stop on our cross country trip. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you for making our long trip enjoyable. Great room! Been staying at best westerns on our trip and have yet to be disappointed

    5
« Clean hotel, friendly staff »

Clean hotel, great location, exceptionally helpful staff. Nice pool and hot tub. Fitness center fair-treadmill caused static shocks when running and elliptical made loud clunking noise with every rotation. Good breakfast.

    3
    « Well... »

This location was perfect for our needs. The room was clean, the staff pleasant. Sadly, when we opened our window, we discovered that at least 2 rooms near us had smokers smoking on their balconies. The smoke came right in to our "non-smoking" room & we were forced to close the window. We made a complaint to the Front Desk, with no visible outcome.

    3
« Great staff, less great facilities »

The staff at this hotel are amazing, kind and do a great job. However, the hotel, besides the lobby, needs updated. The halls are dark and dingy. The rooms seem like they are very dated. Overall, it was an average hotel.

    4
    « Just nice enough. »

Older establishment, but clean and very friendly! All rooms have a small living room with sofabed and seperate tv. Sink is located outside of the bathroom which is nice for multiple people. Beds are nice, and breakfast was as good as you would expect from best western. I would recommend!

    « Good overnight stay »

Nice large room with 2 queen beds and a separate sitting area. Fairly easy to get to from the highway. The pillows need replacing though, they weren't comfortable. I booked using a daily special and got the room for under $100, excellent value!

    5
« Good value for the price »

I had a single bed suite on the 2nd floor. This hotel is located next to the freeway so the views are not that nice. The noise from the freeway was not as bad as I expected. I could only hear the cars with aftermarket exhausts. The room was a little unusual with having a window facing the hallway. It has a foldout bed in the entry with a TV, and a TV with the bedroom. Neither the bed or sofa were overly comfortable, but I sleep on a foam mattress at home so it would be difficult to get a bed that meets my standards in this price range. Overall, the room is new. The fridge is clean without any weird smells, the drawers are spotless, the wallpaper is unscuffed, and the air unit looks like it just came out of the box. The thing I appreciated most was the size of the toilet seat. For the price I paid it was fantastic.

    5
    « Another wonderful stay. »

As always. this hotel is our go to place to stay in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. It has a wonderful staff, convenient location, easy on-off access to I 25. The location is close to almost everything we need and like to do in Albuquerque, without having to get involved with the traffic congestion downtown or the confusion and traffic jams located around all of the malls and shopping places in the area. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. They always go out of their way to make our stay the best possible. This is one reason we keep coming back to this hotel. The beds here are very comfortable and snuggley, which makes for a very restful night's sleep. The place is always clean and well maintained. The breakfast is better than the usual hotel breakfast .

    5
    « Night out »

wanted a fun night with the kids and this hotel was great! Has a good size pool and the room was nice lots of room for the kids to enjoy themselves. It is really close to the movies and tons of good places to eat.

    5
    « BW plus ABQ »

Easy access to places in ABQ. Breakfast was the usual buffet but very fresh. Chocolate chip cookies on arrival exceptional. Staff nice and helpful. Grandchildren enjoyed the swimming pool. Great internet

    3
    « Just off the I25, near the I40 »

Located just off an exit on I25 and near the I40 - lots of noise from heavy traffic on interstate. Suites are spacious, bed was very comfortable. Only one restaurant within walking distance but an excellent one if you like local brewery and pub food - Nexus, featured on the Food Network's "Diners, Dives and Drive-ins".

    5
    « Motel stay »

The gals at the front desk were very helpful and friendly, answered all my questions in regards to charges, room and rewards points. And, I appreciated the fact that I got the room and floor I asked for. The place was quiet and everything looked very nice. I also enjoyed the breakfast

    5
    « New Mexico Overnight »

Great hotel and location. We had the Jacuzzi room which was great after a long drive. The hotel staff was great and very courteous. Fairly standard breakfast, great for prepping for the next leg of our journey.

    5
« Newly Remodeled, Nice Upgrade »

This hotel was recently remodeled, the upgrade was very nice and added to the overall appeal of the establishment. This is my favorite place to stay in Albuquerque. I love the suites and their configuration. The linens are always in pristine condition, I like the new in room coffee brewers. If you are looking for a hotel room in Albuquerque, this is the place to stay.

    5
    « Birthday Stay »

We had a wonderful stay. It was my Birthday, & it was pleasant. I got a good night's sleep, the beds were very comfortable. The only thing that I felt needed work was the Hot Tub, the jets weren't strong at all. I'm not used to that in a BW Hotel. Please have those working with POWER to make it worth getting into. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. Thank you.

    « Great Hotel »

Great location, quality facilities, exceptional value, and outstanding breakfast too. We are repeat guests and stay here quite often. The hotel has been tastefully redecorated. Only downside is access during rush hour.

    5
    « Great value »

I booked on TripAdvisor got a great last minute deal and it was worth it. We had a wheelchair accessible room for my grandmother and the only thing I would have changed is a more handicap accessible bathroom. Breakfast, pool and staff were great. Back parking lot could use a few more gates or cameras being where it is located at. Overall great experience.

    4
    « Good location, quiet night's sleep »

We stayed here three nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. The suite room was a nice size and we did buy prepared food to keep in the small refrigerator and to heat up in the microwave. We also used the coffee maker in the room. We used up our decaf coffee, but the front desk was very helpful getting us some more. Our microwave worked one night but did not work the next night, but the maintenance employee was pretty quick getting it replaced for us, which was very nice as we were trying to heat up our dinner and we were hungry. The bathroom was also a nice size and stocked well with towels. The vanity is outside the bathroom so someone can use it while someone else showers. The vanity and other furniture and décor were clean and modern. They only have a few rooms that have balconies, but we got one on the side of the building facing the mountains and it was nice going outside to see the sunset on the mountains. We live in flat country, so it is nice to see what are big mountains for us. The breakfast is pretty much the standard fare that all hotels put out. Because I consider most of the food a bit unhealthy or too sweet, I rarely eat any of the breakfast food, except for maybe having a cup of orange juice. I do not like the eggs in a box that all these hotels have switched to. I would much prefer the hotels allowing us to decide if we want to pay extra for the breakfast or not. I thought the room rate we were charged was higher than we usually pay for a hotel room, and because I ate no breakfast, it would have been nice if we could have paid less. The hotel is well located with a good restaurant a very short walk on the north side and a convenience store a short walk on the south side. Residential areas are east of the hotel, so there's grocery stores and numerous eating places east. The hotel has a large indoor swimming pool, which we never use, an exercise room, and the WiFi worked well in our room. All employees we interacted with were very nice and helpful.

    5
    « What a great Best Western »

A very well taken care of property. The 'suite' rooms were huge. Clean and well appointed. The employees were super helpful and friendly. Just a little confusing getting into the parking lot coming from the south as you have to cross over several lanes of traffic rather quickly. Will return!

    5
« Perfect place to stay! »

Great value for an excellent room!! You will not be disappointed! Friendly staff and awesome amenities. Location was close to everything! This trip was even more perfect thanks to the Best Western hotel.

    3
    « I love Bestwestern but »

Was disappointed with this location, it overall felt like any other hotel rather than the higher standards at most Bestwesterns. Its an acceptable place to stay but it doesnt stand out. Guest services handeled issues acceptable on departure.

    4
« Simple, Clean, and Quiet Office Suite »

?Love the layout of this suite! Easy to leave work in one area, sleep in another, with shower and vanity in-between. Nice, quiet stay with no interruptions or noisy neighbors lol. Although a little tricky to get to the first time, this hotel is so convenient! Quickly hop on freeway and arrive downtown in less than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend!

    5
« Good place to stay »

Staff very helpful with the rooms requested. There is a very good full breakfast available till 9:30 am. Was good for us because we came in after midnight so we could sleep in and still get breakfast..

    5
    « Convenient and Comfortable »

This hotel is conveniently located just off I-25 but we did not have any road noise and our room faced the expressway. The price was good, the staff friendly, the breakfast typical but good and the beds were very comfortable. There is a brewery/restaurant just behind the hotel, very easy and felt safe to walk to. We had a small issue with the shower but other than that had a great 2-day stay.

    5
« Great facility to stay at. »

Have stayed here multiple times, will always stay here when I'm traveling this way. A little tricky access to get in but easy freeway access when leaving. The Nexus Brewery with a soul food restaurant is within walking distance, excellent food.

  • 5
    « Star accommodations »

The hotel was one of the best I have stayed at this trip with so many amenities from a hand shower and slippers for the guests. The staff were always ready with a friendly smile and quick to be of assistance. They have a good selection of fine restaurants with in a few minute walk.

    5
« A good place to take your mate. »

This Best Western Hotel is just off the I-25 North freeway and just a couple of miles north of the I-25 and I-40 interchange. The rooms are modernly fitted and the King Suites with a jacuzzi are especially nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. A good place to have a get-away weekend with your mate.

    5
    « A Pleasant Stay »

Comfortable stay, and well maintained. Breakfast was fresh and had a lot of 'extras' that are not at all hotels. Beds were very comfortable, staff was helpful and friendly. Near interstate but not a lot of traffic through the street or parking lot. Would stay here anytime that I am in Albuquerque.

    5
« Great place to stay »

Spotlessly clean rooms, great restaurant/brewery within walking distance, quiet location, friendly staff. The view is not fantastic, but price is reasonable and the amenities are nice. Although we were traveling as a couple, this would also be a great place to stay for families.

    3
« Price did not match the accomodations »

I had a two night stay. The beds were comfortable, it was clean and the showerhead was good in the shower. The lay out of the suite had a window facing to the hall. The window was cover with a sheer curtain, so people could see in with no way to change it at night. The décor was outdated. The food and breakfast was great. Price was high for the quality, I was expecting more updated room. If price was lower it would be great for families. All in all a good stay.

    4
« On our way southwest! »

What a great hotel for the price. We paid $37 less for this BW Suite than we did at a BW in the St. Louis area. Great breakfast and compfy beds. Very helpful staff!! I highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

    3
« An Average Basic Stay- That's NOT bad! »

Older property, convenient location, spacious suites. Standard complimentary breakfast. would not opt for the whirlpool suite that was offered as an upgrade. It gave the room a very odd configuration.

    5
« So nice we stayed twic »

We were travelling to San Antonio and so stayed the first time because of convenience. We stayed again on our return trip because of the excellent experience we had received. The room was comfortable. I especially appreciated the suite style with a door that could be closed between the living room area and the bedroom.

    3
    « Short stay »

Average hotel with easy access to the highway. Front desk clerk was friendly. Our room did have a bad smell upon entering but we were so tired we just opened the window. We tried calling the desk with some questions but never got an answer however It was a busy Saturday night. Breakfast was sub-par.

    3
« Room in need of repairs »

I frequent Best Westerns and was surprised the amount of repairs the room needed. The shower head squirted on the ceiling and walls, in direction water should not be flowing. This has cause the paint on the ceiling to bubble and needs to be repaired. The drain was VERY slow, and the sink could not drain unless I manually pulled the drain plug out (YUK). The bathroom threshold was broken. I reported all the problems in the morning before I left, so I'm not sure if anything was fixed. The the positive side, the breakfast was good, and the indoor pool and spa were in working order.

    « Avg ABQ hotel »

The rooms, which have a sitting room in addition to the bedroom and bathroom, are larger than most of the other hotels in Albuquerque. The sitting room has a couch and second TV, which could be handy if traveling with kids. Pros: larger rooms, price, friendly staff, clean rooms. Cons: getting to the hotel from I25N, no pillow choices, carpet worn, exercise facility. Information: the BW is near busy I25 and if you have a room that faces the highway it may be noisy. Ask for a room that faces away from 25. Getting to the hotel from 25N can be tricky. Once you exit the highway at Montgomery you immediately have to cross three lanes to make the left turn onto the road with the hotel. In traffic it's impossible so just continue on Montgomery until you can safely make a u-turn. Hotel has an indoor pool and jacuzzi (I used neither), and a small exercise facility. The single elliptical was malfunctioning (I brought this to the attention of the receptionist). Breakfast is standard continental fare for a 3* hotel. The pillows were all the same - firm and high which I found uncomfortable. And the walls are thin. If your a light sleeper ask for ear plugs. Bottom line - this is an average ABQ-area hotel but it has enough pluses that I'd consider staying here again.

« Old... Find something else »

Although clean.. its old. Old nasty looking sofa bed in room. terrible view from my balcony. poor breakfast. weird windows next to the doorway. meaning theres a window next to the door way when you open the door its a hallway not outdoors. awful smelling soap. Staff was friendly though .

    5
« Best Hotel of many trips »

Large suite to make possible to work while other guest is sleeping A visit in this Executive suite will make you a customer for all your next trips. My best quality/price experience. Plenty of parking space to make possible a meeting for a large group. Many good restaurant around the hotel. Good distance from main highway to provide quiet space but easily accessible.

    5
    « Great vacation spot! »

Very nice place to stay. We were there for the balloon festival and found it to be very comfortable. The staff is helpful and the breakfast was terrific. The location can be tricky to negotiate especially during high traffic times.

    4
    « Nice clean hotel »

Very nice accommodations, just what we needed after a long day on the road.easy to find off the 25. Hot breakfast offerings of eggs, sausage and even Oatmeal( not the package kind)! Recommend this location.

    « Could be better »

My wife and I had two extended stays (6 days and 5 days) at this hotel in September and again in early October. We stayed here twice mainly because the location was ideal for our needs. However, if location had not been such an important factor we would probably have tried a different hotel for the second stay. During both stays the lobby and front desk area were undergoing a major re-construction, which we did not know about until our initial arrival. The front desk and breakfast area were a temporary arrangement in what is normally a meeting room. It worked, but was not as nice as I'm sure it is, or will be, when all the construction is done. It would have been nice to be informed about the situation in advance. The hotel, in general, is nice ? especially for the price. However, be aware that they seriously jack up their price for special events, like the Baloon Fiesta. We paid an average of about $108/night, but during the Baloon Fiesta the price of the same room goes up to over $250/night. This Best Western is attempting to compete with some of the other mid-range hotels, like Holiday Inn Express, but falls a bit short. The room was clean and comfortable, but there were some signs that maintenance is not a high priority. For instance: > For some reason, it takes considerable time for hot water to reach the sink faucets. Our first room had NO hot water to the sink, and the maintenance man couldn't figure out why. We had to change rooms. There appears to be a glitch in the plumbing. > In one of our rooms the cover on the air conditioning controls was broken off, and the closet door was missing. > Shower/bath drain was partially clogged. By the end of the shower you're standing in 3-4 inches of water. > The desk chair did not adjust well to the desk. I had to put a pillow on the chair as without it the desk was nearly at chest level. > In one room the tray in the microwave oven had been replaced with a tray that did not fit that oven. We made it work, but it was awkward. > It seems that stairwells are not often cleaned. On our first stay I noticed some dirt on the stairs, and it was there the entire week we were there. The breakfast was not on par with other, similar hotels we've stayed at. The best part was that they had scrambled eggs and bacon, ham or sausage patties every morning. The cereal offering was average, pastry was very limited and mediocre, and the orange juice was lousy (more like Tank than real juice). Fresh fruit was also limited and rather poor quality. On the plus side, the room was clean and comfortable, wi-fi worked well, and the housekeeping staff was friendly, and did a great job. If you're sensitive to traffic noise, ask for a room on the side of the hotel facing away from Interstate 40. The other side does have some noise from Montgomery Blvd., but it's not as bad as on the Interstate side.

    « A Wonderful Experience! »

After being on the highway for two days straight of course I looked on my phone to check the Best Western app and of course I stumbled upon one it mediately .9 miles from where I was. I must say I have a really enjoyed myself the morning I checked in the lady was so sweet I want it fresh shell eggs she made sure to get them scramble them and cook them for me just like I want it everything was fresh and the company was very good. I found out a lot about the city through her and also the lady that check me in. The pool and jacuzzi was excellent! I didn't really get a chance to do much sightseeing because I enjoyed myself right on the premises. Also when I checked out the gentleman was very informative about places to go things to do which I took a lot of his suggestions and it just made my trip even better. I really felt comfortable there and I will be back! Thanks a bunch!

    « Passing Through »

The hotel was in the final stage of a LOBBY remodel and the check-in and breakfast area were all in the same room. Even with this going on the staff did a fantastic job of dealing with it. Really great people.

    « Newly Remodeled »

Under construction still but nicely remodeled. Clean, comfortable, spacious room with nice amenities save for powdered creamer with coffee maker in room. Nice hot breakfast with lots of breakfast options.

    « Family visits »

We stayed in a two room suite with our children with connecting doors. We always stay at this property when in Albuquerque to visit with our families. It's very spacious and clean. They offer a full breakfast in the mornings and 24 hour coffee and cookies in the afternoon. The property has a huge indoor pool, and weigh room. I would highly recommend this property to everyone.

Excellent hotel EXCEPT Lobby was all blocked off due to construction (not told in advance) and we had to enter in by the back door and walk the hall to make-shift, which was also used for breakfast and very noisy and dusty. The Lobby had been beautiful before being torn up

« Fire escape door was blocked! »

As retired people we travel a lot, and stay in Best Western as often as we can. This place was beyond a doubt the worst BW we have ever stayed in, including ones in very small out-of-the-way places. The fire escape was blocked by construction. When I reported it to the front desk, the counter agent was very unconcerned. She said she knew nothing about it. Additionally the sheets had stains on them, the curtains were spotted with something red and the bottom sheet would not stay on the bed.

The clerk that checked us in (sadly, I did not get her name) she went above and beyond the call of duty, She was very professional and efficient as well as Suzette, the clerk that checked us out. We will definitely be coming back!!

« Very nice hotel for a great price »

We stayed here while spending a day at Acoma Pueblo. It was centrally located and easy to find. Our room was very comfortable. It had two rooms and included a refrigerator and microwave. We couldn't have been more pleased with it and the value of the room. It had a large swimming pool and hot tub which we didn't get to take advantage of, but it looked really nice and clean. Our breakfast was fine. I would recommend it to others.

« Place to stay while looking for homes in Albuquerque »

First off no one told us that the front desk area was under construction, second, how can they call themselves "Executive Suites" as there is nothing here for the executive. I understand that hotels/motels have to do some upgrading to their properties but the staff not informing the guests about construction being done on one of their properties is just NOT RIGHT. The one girl that did check us in, the maintenance man who helped us up to our room with our belongings, and most of the housekeepers were very pleasant. The breakfast was o.k. but the eggs were cold, coffee was very strong almost bitter. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The doors on the rooms did not stay in the locked position so you had to slam them shut. We had to have the maintenance man come up and work on the door so it would close easier but apparently everybody else's door had to be slammed shut so we had to put up with that. This Best Western was terrible to get into from the freeway, very confusing for someone from out of town. Like I mentioned before I understand construction and the inconvenience but have the common decency to tell your guests before they make a reservation so they can make the choice of weather they want to stay there or not. « A stay at the Best Western Plus in Albuquerque,NM »

My wife and I had the pleasurable experience at staying at the Best Western Plus motel in Albuquerque, NM. The whole experience was delightful and I have no reservations in recommending it to other travelers to Albuquerque.

    « Great stay »

The hotel is being up dated and the room they put us in had already been done. It was clean and the bed was comfortable and the room looked nice, the staff were friendly and nice and very helpful,,the outside of the hotel is very well lighted for security at night, it is kinda hard to get in and out of the street leading to the hotel as far as traffic, but if you go right out out the hotel you can use the traffic light at Jefferson to navigate your way around, if you use montano it is best to turn right only But that will get you back on the highway .Good Hotel Good Staff Great Location it is best to stay on the south side of the building away from the highway for a quieter stay..

« Recent stay on way home after week in Grand Canyon area »

After 9 days on the road, this hotel had quiet rooms, comfortable beds and was near restaurants etc; only complaints? The darn fan-attached-to-bathroom light that was terribly loud; I understand the need for removing moisture, BUT, sometimes a person would like to use the bathroom during the night, without waking everyone else.....

« One night stop over. »

3rd time in Albuquerque. This was the first BW in this city that was a plus. If we come back to Albuquerque, we know where to stay. Loved everything! Definitely would recommend this Best Western Plus Executives Suites, Albuquerque!

« Nice, Attentive Staff and Nice Breakfast Area »

TV in living room and in bedroom, so my wife and I could watch different programs. Good, average breakfast choices. We chose two nights and I am not sorry even though it was too close to the loud freeway (we kept the fan on, which worked pretty well to drown out the traffic). This hotel is rather difficult to find easily.

    « Tourist in Albuquerque »

From the time we checked in to this motel to the time we left the staff was very helpful in every way. We like the location because it was easy on and off I-25. Stores and Restaurants were close by and View of Sandia Peak was beautiful. Will come back again.

« Home away from home »

Everyone here at this Best Western hotel are wonderful, caring people. They were all helpful and made our stay very nice. This hotel is one of the few in Albuquerque that have some suites with jacuzzi tubs in the rooms. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. This is the hotel we always go to if we need a place to stay in town or just want a place to escape the normal routine. It is also the hotel we recommend for our out of town guests. It is convenient and centerally located to most attractions and entertainment venues in Albuquerque. The rooms are quiet, even though the hotel is located next to I-25.

    « Family Fun »

Every year I take my family on a weekend trip to New Mexico and we stay at this hotel. Love the service, the rooms and the pool. The only downfall I have is that we always reserve 3-4 rooms and have a hard time getting them all next to one another. The staff is friendly, breakfast is awesome and the grandkids love the pool. We will return again next year and hopefully many more.

« Nice hotel in a bad location »

My son and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is nice inside, very comfortably appointed and has a friendly staff. However, I would probably not stay here again for 2 reasons. There is no restaurant in close proximity. I am a runner, and I did not feel safe running in the neighborhood surrounding the hotel. If these are not important for you, then I can recommend this hotel.

    « Very nice stay. »

Our room was very comfortable, clean, roomy, and pretty quiet. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. The bed was soft which was good for my liking but a little soft for my husband. It was right off the highway which was good for our stay as we were there on business. Did hear some highway traffic at night but I just turned on the fan and did not hear it anymore. We will stay there again when we are in Albuquerque.

We were on our way home from a family reunion and this place was very comfortable and accommodating. The hot tub didn't look very clean though. And you only had one towel in the pool area for my grandchildren.

    « Albuquerque, NM »

We stayed in several Best Westerns on our roadtrip with our 7 year old grandson... This was not our favorite but it wasn't the worst... we did not take advantage of the breakfast because we wanted some good hot food..

    « disappointed stay »

For this being a Best Western Plus, it lacked in quality we find in others. The lobby was nice. The bed was not as comfortable as other places we have stayed and ALL the pillows were lumpy and the room had a musty smell to it. There was fresh blood on the shower curtain which really was upsetting. The traffic is like sleeping in the middle of a speedway.

« Quality Best Western Stay »

We have stayed at this Best Western multiple times. The rooms are always neat and clean, quiet location even though on I-25. It is close proximity to many great restaurants at the next exit on I-25. The morning free breakfast is plentiful and filling. We will always keep this spot as one of our favorites.

    « Great, but... »

Overall the room and service was good. I experienced three power outages in the evening but was never told what or why. When I asked they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. Don't let this stop you from visiting because otherwise it's a nice hotel.

    5
« Great place to stay »

Large comfortable rooms. 1 tv in living area and 1 in bedroom. I would definitely stay here again. Variety of breakfast items - everything was fresh and hot. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Room was very clean and I appreciated knowing the TV remote was cleaned after every stay.

    « Great Find! »

We stayed in Pueblo the night before at the same price as the BW+ Executive. The difference was night and day. Everything was in working order and clean. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was plentiful and fresh. It was a pleasure to stay here and we will do it again.

    4
    « A bargain with a great location »

You'll find a great price and a friendly staff that serves a terrific breakfast! For Albuqueque the price is right for a good location if you are traveling I 25. The Best Western appellation means something when it comes to management, quality and cleanliness. Just wish the pool wasn't closed for a very thorough cleaning when we arrived.

    4
    « Quiet and pleasant »

Only a one night stay for us, but it far exceeded the place we stayed headed through Albuquerque the week prior. Indoor pool is nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable, equipped with fridge, microwave and a desk for those business travelers. It was quiet all night, combined with black-out curtains provided for a restful sleep. I thought the pillows were a little lumpy but that seems to be standard for most hotels now. Breakfast was great! Oatmeal "bar", biscuits and gravy, toast and bagels, sweet rolls and muffins, eggs and sausage, cereal selection, fresh fruit, waffle bar. Would stay here again if we come through Albuquerque again.

    5
« Great suite and great price »

Stayed here the last night of a 10 day 10 state road trip. I can honestly say that our stay here was the best room for the money on our trip. My wife was very excited for the large large jetted tub in the room. She was not disappointed. The water was hot hot and the jets were very powerful. The breakfast was equally good and they had chicken soup ready for us at check in! Don't miss this one!

    5
    « Excellent Value »

Clean and well-appointed guest rooms. Very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good selection of quality items. The hotel staff were prompt and courteous and even called her room after we had settled in to make sure that we were comfortable in the room was satisfactory. Hospitality is obviously a priority at this hotel; we were even offered hot green chili stew upon arrival! We will stay here again if we have the opportunity.

    5
    « Clean comfortable room »

Hotel is easy on and easy off freeway (I25). Room was very clean, wife usually carries a can of lysol to spray room, did not have to use. Usual continental breakfast. Close to many resturants, minutes to Old Town.

« Great experience with family »

This was a repeat stay with our grandchildren. Very enjoyable. Staff is very helpful and friendly. This is a convenient distance from both our Arizona home and our family inColorado. We would recommend the suites as the perfect size to accommodate our grandchildren.

« Great stay at a reasonable price. »

If you're looking for a great place to stay while in Albuquerque, look no further than the Best Western Plus Executive Suites. The friendly and helpful staff, the easy access to Interstate 25, and the close proximity to many of Albuquerque's attractions, such as Old Town, the Botanical Garden, Aquarium, zoo, and numerous museums, make the Best Western Executive Suites an excellent choice for your home away from home in the Duke City.

    « Best hotel ever! »

I highly recommend this hotel. It was such a pleasant experience. The rooms, front desk service, cleanliness and breakfast were all amazing. The beds were so comfortable you don't even want to get up. The breakfast has a wide variety and was delicious. The price of the room can't be beat.

    « Better than expected »

I've been fortunate to travel all over this country and have stayed at some very nice hotels and have stayed in some really bad ones. I made reservations at this property kinda by mistake because our travel was somewhat last minute. To keep this short this property was much better than expected. My experience with a Best Western/Days Inn type property has been a roll of the dice at best but this Best Western was nice. The rooms are dated but were very clean and The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The only real knock against this place is There aren't any restaurants within walking distance but there are several nice restaurants just a mile north. Other than that I would recommend this hotel for a few nights stay. The price was right and they did a wonderful job. THANK YOU Best Western for making our vacation enjoyable!

    1
    « Worst experience ever »

Would never stay with this motel again. Best western of Albuquerque nm on pan American staff was very rude and I ended up not being able to get a room for fifteen hours later at another motel and best western ended up charging my credit card

    « Very Nice! »

It's odd that there's a window looking into the hallway, but the room and bathroom were clean and spacious. We were on a road trip, so we got hot showers, slept in comfy beds and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast the next morning was great too!

    3
    « Average Hotel »

Very dated. Rooms tend to be dark and cramped. Ok for a night or two. We still had 2 days left in our stay so checked out early and moved to another hotel. Staff is very friendly and beds are comfortable enough.

    « High Caliber Hotel »

We were pleased with the location and the quality of amenities. After having traveled for a long time, it was nice to rely on a convenient place to lodge for the night. Overall, it was a very good value and we appreciate the consistency that Best Western provides.

« Clean, well appointed, great staff »

We actually booked at another BW, but after one miserable night, called the Executive suites and was able to get a lovely king suite for the rest of our trip. The room was clean, well appointed with fridge, microwave, all toiletries, and a quiet AC. Our housekeeper did an impeccable job of maintaining our suite for the 4 days we were there, and all requests were dutifully carried out. We didn't have an opportunity to enjoy the pool, but it was clean and the area was well maintained. The dining area is small, but there was always plenty of fresh fruit and hot breakfast items available, including a Belgian waffler that allowed guests to make their own waffles. We enjoyed our stay and would choose this hotel again.

    3
    « Average quality »

Pool is cloudy and cold. Rooms are clean, paint and wallpaper on the walls was done poorly. Not a great place, but not a low quality room either. Would stay here again if no other chains are available.

« Nice clean rooms - not Plus level in my opinion »

The room was fine.Everything was clean and the bed comfortable. Took advantage of the breakfast the next morning. No waffles but everything tasted good. The front desk helped with restaurant suggestion and times to visit Sandia Peak. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

    3
« Not the service or comforts you are used to getting. »

The ac is too small to cool the size of the rooms with 100 degree temp. Outside. Could not get the room cooled down. The bed brand is not consistent so could not sleep comfortable. Staff does not smile and greet you with a warm welcome.

    « Was wonderful »

When I travel to Albuquerque I will always stay here. Staff is amazing and perfect location. Rooms and pool are very clean. Love that they have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate you can make all day. One thing that would be nice is sever breakfast longer on the weekend.

The front desk staff answered any questions we had concerning our room payment. The room was clean and the bathroom was big enough for our 2 kids and 2 adults. We love the beds and our kids feel at home when we enter the room because they known the hotel and we stay near family.

« Dated Property Showing Its Age »

This was the weakest of several Best Westerns we stayed at during a cross country road trip in June 2017, but still made for a decent place to rest for an evening. We ( family of four) had lots of space in the huge two queen suite with living room. The room was clean and the beds fine. The breakfast was also fine and the staff very attentive busing tables and keeping everything stocked. The hotel is also just off the interstate. The downside is that the hotel is really showing it's age. The decor is an odd mix of Southwest and traditional European that seems to have been done in the 1980s. The rooms were dark, with the living room having an interior window to the hall, which meant keeping the curtains closed for privacy. The carpets seemed worn. The drain in the bathtub did not work right ( to be fair, we did not contact the front desk). The elevators are small. It seemed like a lot of the rooms were empty, breakfast was subdued compared to other hotels ( which could be a good thing) and there was a sense of something well past it's prime. The staff was good and seem to be doing the best that they can with a dated property. We will most likely stay somewhere else the next time we are in Albuquerque.

« Ratings fooled me. Never again. »

We usually stay in Hampton Inns on Interstate trips but none with a suite were available in the area so I gave BW the first chance in a while. I used to stay at BWs a long time ago but had had too many poor experiences with a few great ones. This is a remodeled hotel that did not put enough into the remodel to charge a price that was not that different from a Hampton Inn and Suites. Instead of my express check-in or bypassing the front desk altogether with digital key as with many Hamptons I instead was the only person at the desk who had to wait for the employee to finish other tasks that I guess were more important than helping a guest. One of these was putting away a box of the little shampoos and conditioners. Upon entering the hallway I was slapped in the face by the smell of some sort of disinfectant. It smelled as if someone had spilled a 55 gallon drum of carpet freshener on the carpet and not vacuumed it up. The furnishings in the room were new but looked as if they purposely picked out the cheapest possible new version of each piece. Breakfast was OK and checkout also involved a trip to the desk as auto checkout was not available. Maybe I will try a BW again in 20 more years. If this was a plus I truly want to avoid the ones without a plus.

    « Decent »

We stayed overnight here. Location was kind of tricky to get to but convenient near restaurants and highway. But it was very quiet. We were however surprised how big the room was. Breakfast was decent.

« Treated what was important to me as important! »

I'm sorry I don't remember names but the front desk staff at checkout and departure were great! I was extremely tired, I was just riding in from Tucson on my Harley and the front desk Clerk let me park my Harley by the front door in the light. Also, she was polite enough to listen to my wining about my soreness. I was so pleasantly surprised! That meant everything to me! The next morning at checkout I was asked if I enjoyed any particular part of my stay; I said yes, I did appreciate the gesture towards my bike's safety and would tell everybody that you are Harley family friendly and that I am happy to do so because I work in a Harley-Davidson dealership. I will send you every traveler I talk to. Thank you again!

« Great Value, Comfy beds »

The lobby of this Best Western was impressive and although we didn't get to use the pool because we got there so late, it was a pretty pool. We stayed in a queen suite which was very roomy. The beds were so comfortable, I didn't want to get out. It was the best night's sleep I had in a week!

    « A good stay »

A very nice hotel, great rooms and amenities. A good breakfast. The staff attitude could have been better and the pillows were too bulky without options (that we were aware of). A bit difficult to access the hotel from the I25 but worth the effort.

    4
« Affordable room with nice amenities »

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Despite being right off the interstate the rooms were very sound proof. I didn't hear the car noise nor other common room noises. We had a suite with the other room, which had a nice sized refrigerator with small freezer and microwave. We found the accommodations quite nice for the price paid. The location is convenient if you are wanting quick easy access to any of the interstates. I would consider staying here again.

« Best Western in ABQ NM »

The romm / suite was very large and so was the bathroom. The breakfast was good with many hot and cold selections. The staff was friendly and courteous. It was an easy access from the highway. We stay at Best Westerns whenever we can and have always been satisfied.

« Overnight Stay in Albuquerque »

Hotel was convenient to highway, clean rooms, no restaurants within walking distance. Bathroom area was fine, separate living area with a door was convenient as we were traveling with children. Air conditioning did not cool the separate living area so was very uncomfortable. Bed was ok, pillows not so much, hotel tastefully decorated. No extra blankets for the sofa bed in room. Breakfast area very small so they opened conference room to accommodate guests. Not many options but adequate. Pool was not too cold, fitness center was adequate. Complimentary internet slow. Business center computer was not working so Amber at the front desk assisted me with printing boarding passes using the hotel email. Overall a good experience & would recommend as my first priority is cleanliness and this hotel passed the test.

    5
    « Great Rest »

The room was large and the bed was the best as far as comfort. The staff was very helpful. Great location right off I-25. Made me wish I needed to stay more than one night. I slept very well. I do recommend this hotel.

    5
    « Great location »

The hotel is in a great location to see the area. Only a few minutes from the tram to go on the mountain and a casino nearby also. Tammy at the front desk was so nice and helpful. They have a breakfast included that is really good. Also just off I25 it's only about 45 minutes from Santa Fe. So that was a nice day trip. The was clean and very nice.

« Nice Best Western but beware of smokers »

Stayed for 2 nights and chose this hotel because we are fans of Best Western and this one had a great location near restaurants. We had a first floor suite with a window that overlooked the hall. The room was clean and the a/c worked fine. Plenty of electrical outlets in the room. Breakfast was very very good. We really only have one complaint that keeps us from giving 5 stars to this location. They have a smoking area right outside the front entrance. The double doors to the hotel are flanked by two benches which were occupied by smokers constantly. I don't want to be an anti smoking snob, but it was kind of disgusting walking through the cloud of smoke every time we went in and out of the building. I sort of felt sorry for the smokers that this was their option. I did mention it to a young lady at the front desk and she said "sorry about that". If the hotel could move "smoking central" away from the front doors, this would deserve a 5 rating.

    5
    « Nice »

    « Love it! »

This is our new place to stay! It's in a very convenient area. Near the freeway, which u cannot hear, and close to places to eat and near a several theaters. The room we stayed in was recently remodeled, it couldve been cleaned better. We could still see the dust in the bathroom floor from the renovation in the bathroom but it was ok we could still live with it. The couch looked dated but still ok. Everything is still sooooo nice there and quiet-not to mention the pool and hot tub is nice. We love taking the shuttle to the casino instead of driving. We started staying here rather than Holiday Inn on Yale. Our new second home!

« THIS HOTEL NEEDS AN UPDATE! OLD »

The hotel entrance to the freeway is inconvenient as you have to go around the block to enter the hotel. The hotel carpet, rooms and bed needs an update. Its old carpet, the other room has a window in the lobby leading to hallway.

« NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED »

This hotel, while being rated high on trip advisor is one of the poorest in the immediate area. The staff are professional, but the property is way below a BW PLUS standard. It's more like a poor BW standard hotel. The property is well worn, hot tub is luke warm, the fitness room inadequate. While not the hotels fault, the street approach is very poor and I was concerned about security in the area. We travel extensively and in the past relied on Trip advisor to give us good info on BWPLUS properties and others. This was a disappointment and we are now rethinking our loyalty to BWPLUS's. In the future we will extensively research the area and hotel before booking. Least I say, we just wanted to get a good night sleep and get out.

Half way through our driving vacation of New Mexico, our travel agent must have felt that we deserved a special treat, and booked us into this executive suites hotel, and we really appreciated the extra amenities this location provided. « wonderful front desk associate »

Ii have been staying at this hotel for six weeks due to heath issues, The young lady who made me fell most welcome and cared for is Yasmin. She is a front desk employee who does so much more than her job requires. She is welcoming, friendly and accommodating. She does anything that is asked of her. I have seen her do house keeping, cook breakfast, and take part in maintenance. She constantly goes above and beyond the call of duty. She always does her best to insure all her guests are well taken care of and are pleased with their accommodations. Yasmin is a true asset!

« NICE SUITES FOR ROOMS, GREAT MOTEL »

This was our first stay at a Best Western Executive Suites and I am really impressed with the service and the facility. They are located right off Montgomery and Hwy 25 so they are only about 4 off ramps from Old Town and Montgomery is a great way to get across town. They have a nice large pool and a very nice lobby. The rooms are large. Our room had a separate office sitting area, the bed room and the balcony had a table and chairs. There was two TV's, a closet, good sized bath & shower room and a dressing area. The office area had a refrigerator and microwave oven. The in room coffee was really good. The Wi-Fi connection worked great and was plenty fast for our computer searches. I would expect to pay a lot more for this suite. The staff was excellent all three days we stayed. The breakfasts were varied each day with the meat selection (ham one morning was a treat). The eggs were always fresh and the biscuits and gravy were better than most, one morning they had hash browns that were a nice addition. The waffle section was separate so that was nice as it did not interfere with the rest of the buffet line. The seating area was a good size with quite a few tables and one that would seat about 10-12. They had a staff member in the cooking/prep area the whole time that really kept an eye on everything. During our stay, I do not think I saw the breakfast area over half full of people so it was quiet and enjoyable eating experiences. This was one of the best breakfasts I can remember at a Best Western. Well planned and well done. Our room was toward the back of the motel on the North side and was very quiet with very little hallway foot traffic going by. We could only hear some highway traffic when we had the sliding door open. The bed was very comfortable and the feel of the room was fantastic including the art work. The shower head was high enough for me being a tall person and the towels were nice and soft for a change. I am really impressed with this place. I had several friends recommend other motels in Albuquerque to stay but I am really happy we chose the Executive Suites for our stay in Albuquerque.

Very nice hotel. Nicely decorated, friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet. Breakfast was very good with lots of selections. Will definitely stay here again. Made reservation directly with hotel and they were very helpful with my questions and reserving the room I wanted.

    « Noise »

The noise from the street (Montgomery) with cars racing until well after midnight was unbearable. I had to sleep in the adjoining room on the sofa. It was almost on the freeway which was not the problem, but rather the cars racing without police interference.

« Very Nice hotel, A Few Things Could be better »

We had some meetings over multiple days near this hotel so we decided to stay here. We have a large family and so we wanted big rooms that were adjoining. They gave us rooms 207-209 and these rooms were great. The rooms were plenty big and we enjoyed the layout and all the furniture that was provided in them. Each room had two beds and an additional pull-out couch along with two TVs. The two TVs were nice for our kids to watch different channels. The swimming pool was much larger than most hotels this size and our kids enjoyed the pool for multiple days. Overall our stay was good and we would stay here again. Summary Rooms: We loved the large rooms we rented with 2 TVs. Coffee/hot chocolate: Coffee & hot chocolate was provided in foyer all day and was good. We also made some coffee in the room as well. Road noise: Although the road noise was significant it does seem to calm down later at night (11 PM or so). You will hear motorcycles all night if you stay up. My wife and I noted the road noise was quite loud but once we got to sleep we did not have any issues with it. We did not lack for sleep over it and my wife is not a heavy sleeper. If you are a light sleeper they do provide ear plugs free of charge. Pool: It has a great Pool and SPA. Kids Enjoyed it very much. One concern about the pool I had was that the door jammed open on occasion. This left it ajar a few times. It concerned me that small kids could enter the pool without a card by just walking down the hallway and pushing the door open. Hinges are bad on pool door. Breakfast: Sausage, Liquid Eggs, Oatmeal, Bagels, Muffins, Toast, Juice & Waffles. Overall the breakfast was to be expected now days. While we were thankful for the food the sausage was low on flavor. I felt the breakfast needed a bit more. The waffles were some of the best I have eaten but the hot food selection was smalll. The breakfast was not bad since its a small hotel a small breakfast is to be expected. Overall the breakfast was good but not something you would want to eat everyday if you stayed here long term. Staff: The staff were great to deal with and very friendly. We enjoyed talking with them and they were always helpful. I would recommend staying here if the road noise is not a big issue to you.

Up to date in all respects. Very nice stay, great room, convenient to Interstate and restaurants. Helpful staff and clean room, good internet. Cookies at check-in . Good parking and easy access to ground floor room

    « Quite & comfy »

I loved the quietness at this property. Didnt here any noise from the busy interstate near by. Or any noise from the guests on the floor. The beds are soft and extremely comfy. I had no problems sleeping on them.

    « BW Executive Suites »

The room was huge and was really nice. I liked having the suite with a place to sitmthat is not on the bed. The only complaint is that it was very noisy with traffic and woke us up. If you stay, ask for a room away from the interstate side. The staff was nice and accommodating.

We were on our way to Taos and Santa Fee. Got to the hotel about 4 pm. Got excellent directions to old town from the attendant at the desk. Enjoyed dinner and time in old town. Easily found our way back and had a quiet night even though we were close to the freeway.

« The place of no sleep »

The noise from the highway, I25, was so loud, my husband and I could barely sleep. We should have realized what was to come when we saw a pair of earplugs on one of the bedside tables. The breakfast selections were basic and lacking.

    « Nice stay »

Nice, comfortable stay. Clean & pretty good location, but not any restaurants you can walk to. There were mostly families with children staying here. Breakfast was ok, but lots of kids, some crawling up on the counters, etc. Custom made omelettes, waffles, yogurt, apples, etc.

« Convenient, clean and good value »

One night stop on trip from AZ to TX. Very nice rooms for the price. The hot breakfast selection was good and wifi was fast enough. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Access on and off the freeway was easy, and noise was not an issue.

    « Awesome! »

We stayed at this Best Western Plus during the 2016 Balloon Festival. We had to purchase our room about a month ahead. When we arrived, the manager (Yahima) was at the front desk with the desk clerk. I introduced myself and told her we came about 800 miles for the Festival and we had not been there before. She welcomed us and we had and unbelievably nice stay. I believe she made everyone welcome, especially since it was a big weekend in Albuquerque. If in the area, you can not do any better than this Best Western Plus Exe Suites

« Put In Occupied Room »

Deserves 1 star but giving it 2 because it's clean and we were given a good dinner recommendation. The housekeeping staff are friendly and work very hard. Font desk inattentive and poor customer service. Positives: The hotel is very clean and always returned to a clean room. They have a free breakfast, very nice pool & hot tub, workout room and was given a good dinner recommendation. The gal working Sunday morning was the only helpful employee I encountered when I locked myself out of my room. Negatives: I was put into a first floor room that was occupied (luckily the guest wasn't there but still not an excuse) and the front desk gal seemed surprised and didn't even apologize (which also surprised me). Was given new key to a 2nd floor room. Trash was by TV, bathroom light left on and coffee maker was broken. This wasn't a big deal because we were all tired. The breakfast is standard continental breakfast which was fine. The TV remotes didn't work (just manually use the buttons on right side of TV and that allows you to turn power on and adjust the channels). There were teenagers hanging out and running up and down the hallway until 1 AM our last night there! At checkout gal with the glasses (no name tag) didn't say anything when I asked for a receipt and seemed like she didn't want to be there that day. Didn't even thank you for staying. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed at where the front desk won't acknowledge you and the customer had to initiate everything. There is a nice Hampton Inn that prioritizes customer service and inspects their rooms that I will be staying at next time. Not again here.

« a nice place for ABQ stay »

the hotel was located near to I-25 for access North and South. The parking lot spacious and the hotel lobby and rooms were very well maintained. The pool was a very nice size and easily accessed. The rooms were spacious and had separate sleeping quarters from the sitting area, with two TVs

    3
    « Bathtub safety concern »

Jacuzzi tub lacked a safety grab bar with very difficult entry/ exit. Access to the faucet impossible to reach unless your actually in the tub. Very high step in and exit area , surrounded by glass door wall on to a tile floor with wet feet , not the best of arrangements. Website photos of the room should be viewed prior to making reservations.

    « Poor Customer Service »

Both nights we stayed we had to ask for towels for the pool area and the fitness area. When we asked for towels the staff acted like it was to much to ask for. The first morning we went down to get coffee but the pots were empty and when we informed staff they were empty we were told we will get to them. When I checked out I took my room keys back to the front desk and she stated, "what are these for" I said the were the room keys she just stated OK. We were never greeted with how are you doing, welcome to Best Western, I hope you enjoyed your stay or I hope you come back. Very Very poor customer service. I will not stay at this BestWestern again.

« Not very good at following through »

We stayed at this hotel late in September. Getting there is a convoluted route from the highway, and especially late at night and very road-weary. Have your Google Maps ready before you exit the highway. The room was fine, although the hide-a-bed was a terrible excuse for sleeping space. My teenage son said he would have preferred to sleep on the floor. The real problem arose when we discovered that we'd left our pillows behind. Being already an hour up the road, I called the hotel. They readily agreed to ship them to me. Problem solved. Having not received the package in 2 weeks, I called them back. Yes, they assured me, they'd been shipped and they confirmed the address. The front desk staff said that they had been shipped via FedEx (but had no tracking number), and that they'd look into it and call me back. I called FedEx, which had no record of a package being in the system with our address on it. A week later, I called the hotel again. Yes, of course the package had shipped, but they didn't know by what service. I asked to speak to the manager, who was out, but they'd have her call back. No thanks, I said. I've been promised a callback before and never received one. I'll call back later, I said. Last week, I contacted the hotel again, and spoke to the manager. She asked me to describe my pillows. Goose down pillows, expensive, white cotton sateen pillowcases. She said that she couldn't confirm that they'd shipped the package, because they send out so many. By what carrier, I asked. She said FedEx, and then USPS, and then FedEx again. So many packages they send, she said. So many pillows left behind. And besides, she said, the hotel isn't responsible for lost items. Believe me, I understand this. I've spent part of my working life living in hotels. However, once you tell me - you promise me - that you've done something, just follow through on it. At that point, yes, you're responsible for doing the thing that you'd said you'd do. If you don't have a tracking number, then I'm thinking that you didn't ship them. If you didn't ship them, hey - just tell me that. Don't lie to me. Don't dissemble. Don't make excuses. (So. Many. Packages.) I have friends in ABQ; they could have picked them up and we could have avoided this nastiness. But, no - I was made promises. If you stay at this hotel, do a double-check; don't leave anything behind. Because they aren't very good at following through on promises.

The room was ok but the air conditioner was noisy and the lights from the parking lot were shinning into the room even with curtains. The staff was nice and friendly and recommended a good place to eat. This was an old hotel and unfortunately had a smell to it. The cookies were good.

    « Wouldn't stay again »

Room was clean enough but very outdated. We were told there was a restaurant adjacent to the hotel but it is a few minute walk through an industrial looking area. The restaurant was the main reason we picked that location so that was a disappointment. My husband was not able to make the walk.

The room was nice and clean. No problems with it. The breakfast was very good. The building was very clean. The acess is terrible due to the highway. The elevator was not working the day we were there, that presented no problem. The lady at the front desk was very helpful.

    « Balloon fest »

Spent 3 days during the balloons fest, liked that they opened breakfast early!! That was appreciated. Thought the price was quite high, but realize it was high for the balloon fest. The hotel and rooms were clean and it has the best configuration of the suite of any hotel we stayed and we always request a suite in hotel we stay at. Were able to see the balloons one morning from the room. Breakfast was good.

    3
    « Not impressed »

I got this room as part of a Hotwire deal where you don't know which hotel it is until after you make the reservation. I would have never picked a Best Western. The room was OK. It's not a newer hotel and it shows. It has prison style windows to the interior hallway. There's a street behind the hotel that was noisy with losers revving their engines as they race by. The mattresses are very cheap economy style and not very comfortable. The pillows are tiny 1 x 1 and very thick and not comfortable. The only things that were nice were the indoor pool and the free hot breakfast. But the pool was cold and the hot tub was filthy with a brownish tint to the water.

    4
« Very good except for traffic noise from I-25 »

Plus Rate during balloon fiesta was affordable (but made reservations 10 months before arrival) Oversized suite with 2 queens and a large living area Friendly front desk staff Spotless clean Conference room (more space, quieter) served as additional breakfast room Minus Constant and heavy traffic noise from I-25, although I slept with earplugs I could hardly sleep. Cramped breakfast area. Hard to move around. Narrow parking lots (at least for the Chevy Tahoe we rented) Overheated elevator and hallways Overall impression: very good. What I disliked is just my opinion and may not be representative. Layout and cleanliness of rooms and public areas was great. I would consider staying there again, if windows would be SUPER sound proof.

our vehicle broke down outside of Albuquerque and the staff at this hotel made our stay very pleasant. Hotel is clean and quiet for being next to the Interstate. « 1 night stay »

My wife and I stayed here for one night and don't really have any complaints. The room was comfortable and clean. The indoor pool is a nice touch like always. My biggest observation is that compared to many other Best Western hotels this one was on the lower end as far as the wow factor. Our stay was nice and we have no complaints but this particular best western just feels like an older location. The rooms feels outdated and "older", for lack of better terms. My wife and I have stayed in many Best Western hotels all over the country and we've never really been disappointed, we really enjoy Best Western. However, this particular location feels more like a Super 8 or a Motel 6. Nothing wrong with that but I figured people might want to know. Other than that we had a great stay and we'd definitely stay again.

Hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious and perfect for the Balloon Fiesta. The rate was very competitive for the time of year. The breakfast was good with a variety of foods and drinks. « Excellent service »

This hotel staff went out of their way to ensure we were provided with a king sized bed. They provided us with a suite because it had a king sized bed, at no extra cost. The breakfast at this location was outstanding. Almost all best westerns have a good breakfast. We changed hotel chains from La Quenta to best western because we were tired of breakfast cereals and waffles at La Quenta to a real breakfast at best western.

    « Love the 2 rooms. »

I love having a separate living area from the bedroom. After traveling several days it helps to be able to let someone sleep while the other one does something else. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I'd like, seemed like it was getting old. Breakfast is on par with other hotels.

« Good Place To Stay »

Very nice facility with a friendly staff and good location. Not sure why all of the suites do not have coffee tables - which would be a welcome edition. It is nice to have a place to go to watch TV while it's nap time for someone else.

    « convenient location »

Location very convenient to balloon museum and fiesta area and easy access to Old Town and tram to top of Sandia Peak. Location at expressway but very quiet, and location makes it easy to take side trips to Sante Fe and anywhere since it's next to expressway. General breakfast fare but hot options included real scrambled eggs. Nice enclosed pool and hot tub. Cookies in the afternoon.

    « Nice hotel--would stay again »

The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, rooms were quiet and clean. Indoor pool and Jacuzzi were clean but busy. Breakfast was hot. Will stay here again. The only downside is the hotel can be hard to find. It is on an access road to an access road, and not well marked. We missed it the first time and had to circle several blocks to get back to it. It was a good value for the price.Plenty of parking.

Real bonus was Nexus bar and restaurant two minutes at the back. So lovely not to have to go far to get a beer and great food. Great nights sleep. Very good breakfast in comfortable seating area.

« Decent location, but due for a remodel »

I've been traveling in the SW for a week and a half with my elderly parents and have stayed in several BW hotels along the way in the 4 Corners states. Many are newer or have recently been renovated, and frankly, this one is really due for an update. It's clean, but feels a bit "worn/dated". The staff is friendly and efficient, and responded to my request for a shower seat for my 86 year old dad who has mobility problems. They told me that those seats are reserved for the "handicapped" rooms (there wasn't one of this available when we checked in because they were booked solid) but housekeeping did bring one for us on the second day of our stay (after I called with a second request), when one became available. Also, when I called to reserve the room, I reserved for 3 persons, and the available option was a suite with a king bed and a fold out couch. The fold out was neither very comfortable, nor was it made up for me. Sheets were provided in a drawer for me to make the bed myself, but no extra pillows or blankets were provided in the room. Even on the second night, when it was clear to housekeeping that the fold-out had been used the night before, I was simply provided with another clean sheet set in a bag that was left on the couch--no blanket, no pillows. Really people?? If I need a hotel in ABQ again, I'll most likely pay a little more and stay in or near Old Town.

    « I wish I would've stayed somewhere else »

The staff were very friendly. Was nice to have a separate room for my son. Other than that the hotel seems old, musty, and ill decorated. The rooms are small. I couldn't wait to get home. The breakfast was crowded. And the main disappointment was when I called ahead and asked about the pool temperature, and was told it was heated, as my 4 year old son will not swim in cold water. The pool size was OK but it was very cold, definately not heated! So my son wouldn't swim in it. Also, I'm surprised there is no mat outside the pool door where there is slippery tiling. I will never stay here again. I wish I would've paid $10 more and stayed at the Drury Inn.

    « Very enjoyable stay »

This hotel is well maintained and easy to access. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable, the WiFi was very good and every staff member we encountered was very friendly, courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay at this Best Western again and recommend it to anyone traveling in Albuquerque who wishes to stay in the northwest part of the city.

Nice place to stay, comfortable beds, plenty of plug-ins for electronics. Very quiet. Not enough ice machines. There wasn't one on our floor. Breakfast was good. Customer service was good. Would recommend this hotel. We will stay here again if we ever pass through

« Great place to stay in Albuquerque »

Nice clean well appointed rooms. The people at the front desk were very polite and helpful. There is not a restaurant on site but the lady at the front desk referred us to the Nexus Bar and Grill which is a two minute walk. Excellent food and prices. When I go through Albuquerque this is where I will be staying.

It was awesome staying at this hotel. I enjoyed the room and the breakfast. There was only one issue but it was only the first night, a car alarm went off every 2 hours. I let the front desk know. I was able to use the computer to print my boarding pass with help.

« Nice quiet place off the I-25 »

Really liked our room. It was spacious, quiet and well lit, the bed was comfortable, and the a/c worked well. There's a nice indoor pool, spa and sauna, complimentary hot breakfast, guest laundry, business center, reasonable order-in room service for lunch and dinner, and a fitness center. The motel is also convenient to shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly.

I am a wild land fire fighter I stay at hotels at least 4 to 6 months out of the year. I have grown to know how hotels function and what their capabilities are. I also have grown to know the high end and low end of what hotels have to offer. I feel that this Best Western is very presentable and I like the little things. The cookies and water bring a smile to my face. The cleanliness of the rooms is hit and miss one of my first stays I found what appeared to be jelly on the bathroom door and bathroom door handle it was very disappointing. Since then I have stayed several time have found the rooms pretty clean. I would recommend them to look at the base boards in the bathrooms especially. Wipe the microwave door and handle. I like the well lit parking lot and the way it sets next to the neighboring storage company it creates a safe environment. I feel very safe there and that is what keeps bringing me back. The breakfast is good I wish they would serve bacon more often the greasy sausage messes with my stomach as it did with some of my colleagues. The staff is always friendly and happy to see me.

We have stayed in several Best Western hotels and this one was the best. We stayed here for the holiday weekend. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by the manager!!! The rooms are huge and very clean. The receptionists were very friendly, they recommended us things to do while in Albuquerque. The breakfast area was very busy on Sunday morning, but they opened another room across from it so we could all seat together. We really enjoyed our trip and we are already planning to stay in this hotel during our next visit to Albuquerque.

I stayed on tuesday of this week and it wasn't really under construction more like just being painted out front and it didn't stop customers from entering. You couldn't smell paint indoors. I enjoyed my room with a living room feature.

    « Awesome stay »

Staying in Best western hotel is always a great pleasure. The hotel has a lot of amenities to make your stay an awesome stay. The only problem the hotel has to my family is, the pool. The pool needs to stay open 24 hrs.

« The Best of the Best »

I regularly stay in Best Western hotels. This is the best one of dozens I've stayed in over the years. Therefore, I highly recommend it. If I ever go to Alburquerque again, I will definitely stay here again.

    « Personal »

I find this Best Western Hotel to be one of the premiere establishments of the Best Western Hotels and Resorts conglomerate. The staff are always friendly, courteous and professional during one's stay here. Although my wife and I did not utilize the pool and/of the workout room this trip,we have in the past and found them to be first-rate.The hotel is located in an enviable location as it is convenient to everything that Albuquerque has to offer. The price is reasonable and the amenities appealing. As an aside, the hotel is family friendly. I hardily recommend this establishment for visitors and/ or locals.

    « Very good hotel »

This Best Western is a cut above most typical chain hotels. The public areas are very nice and they serve a plentiful breakfast. Our room was spacious and very well furnished with a King bed and also a separate living room. This is a great hotel deal with a very reasonable price.

    5
    « Excellent »

We would definitely stay again. Clean room, excellent beds and spacious rooms for family. It had a full size refrigerator with stove. It was perfect for our family of five. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Like the new look of hotel. Easy to get to from and to places. Like the clean rooms as well as pool and hot tub. Awesome staff and overall great stay. Always stay at this hotel when or where ever we travel

    « Just ok »

The room was nice, very clean. Breakfast was just ok. Not many choices. The swimming pool would have been nice, but kids were in there screaming at the top of their lungs and we left. At night you could hear cars with loud mufflers racing, it was hard to sleep. Hotel was fine, it was just parents that couldn't control their kids and people racing in the middle of the night.

    4
« Best Western Suites in Albuquerque »

Overall it was worthy of the price, but the breakfast bar was too long of waiting. They could rearrange the whole breakfast serving lines. And it took too long to cook the scramble eggs and sausage. Other than that everything was good, The space of bedroom is very good.

    « Mr. Customer »

Upon arrived were greeted by friendly staff, we had reservations made prior, rooms were clean and areas, use pool to cool off GK on 4 hr trip, though too much chlorine in pool/hot-tub grand-kids enjoyed, breakfast was awesome both mornings on our stay. I would highly recommend to other guest traveling thru.

« Worst Best Western Ever »

The hotel is supposed to be an executive plus. The rooms smell like smoke, one of the TVs is always broken (bedroom or living area), bathroom wasn't clean, equipment broken in the fitness room, breakfast area filthy even when half full, staff spend more time talking to each other in the storage area so they don't have to deal with customers. Never again will I stay at this location.

    « A Taste of Albuquerque »

Having stayed at this location many times in the past, I feel comfortable there and they have updated the rooms considerably. Wonderful breakfast and like the separate living area. Newer beds, but the kings need sheets that will fit better. The check in person was very accommodating and tried to get my room preference, which we did move after one night to the room requested. Will stay again and can recommend.

    « Convenience »

If looking to travel further east, I would highly recommend this hotel just north of downtown. We were able to stay out of the morning rush hour traffic. It is also located within walking distance to a restaurant & brewery & short drive to other restaurants & shopping.

    « Perfect Room »

We loved our stay. The suite was perfect for my family. The living area was separated from the bedroom so one of us could stay up late reading. The next morning one of us got up early without disturbing the late sleepers. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool and hot tub before retiring and had a great breakfast the next morning. The room was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I heartily recommend it.

« Convenient, but seriously needs remodeling »

Ok level of amenities for this range of hotel, but internet was intermittent, furnishings need updating, road access is difficult. It is challenging to figure out how to enter parking lot off the highway, even with Waze app. The room is clean, and it seems to be a good place for families. There's a pool (I think), and continental breakfast is included. Get up early if you want to use their breakfast.

    5
« Good stop for on the road »

Friendly staff & clean room -- Always a plus. Hotel is located just off the interstate and easy to find. It is near many local restaurants in the area. It is a good place to stop on a long trip along I-40.

    « Top Notch »

I loved our room! It was actually two rooms, the bedroom was separated from the living area where one could stay up late reading without bothering the others in our party. In the morning one of us got up early to read and did not wake the others. It was perfect! The rooms were very clean, the personnel were friendly and helpful. We relaxed in the pool and hot tub before retiring for the night. I highly recommend it.

    « Gem of a Best Western »

Best Western traditionally have high standards, but this property is above and beyond. Plenty parking, convenient location to I-25. Service was excellent throughout. Room large and clean. Nice sized bathroom (accessible). Bed in bedroom and pullout both comfortable. We all slept good. Nice indoor pool and spa, as well as fitness center. Breakfast area very nice with tasty hot breakfast options, like waffles, hot oatmeal, etc. great option if you are in Albuquerque.

« Terrible beds, Nice service »

I live 1 hour from the Mexican border in Arizona and Albequrqe is 10 tmes more dangerous. Crime is over the top. All over the city property crime is sky rocketing. I parked in front of the hotel front door and my car was unmolested. The Best Western was average for a cheap hotel, but the rooms were 2 room suites, 2 t.v.'s, microwave and fridge. The beds were excellent and brand new in 1972. Sitting on the edge of the bed was like your grandma's couch. I stayed 3 nights and was hurting and sore every morning. If you must stay here, sleep on the floor. The employee's were very pleasant and all of them spoke English.

    « Visiting Sandia Peak »

    « A very comfortable stay! »

We decided to stay here on our vacation for a night and we were not disappointed by the standards all Best Westerns seem to have. This hotel is centrally located just north of the junction of interstate 40 and Interstate 25. We were so comfortable we stayed there again on our way back! The rooms were clean, and well kept. The beds were comfortable and our room had a microwave and a good sized refrigerator. We did not use the pool, but it appeared clean and well tended. The breakfast room was also clean and well kept- I will be honest, I always hate the breakfast rooms because it's always full of grumpy people early in the morning, but they had lots of tables to sit at and another section of room they open up to breakfast. The room was quiet of freeway noise, considering it was right next to I25. There was also ample parking. I think the only downside is there was one elevator, and it always seemed like everyone wanted to use it at once. I'm fairly certain if my husband hadn't gotten up on our final morning and turned off the TV, we might still be sitting in Albuquerque's Best Western Plus Executive Suites watching TV.

    5
    « Wonderful stay »

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! The rooms were fresh, beds comfortable, excellent pool and hot tub. Hotel staff was extremely helpful with a person in our family that is disabled. I would give them a 5+++ rating if I could.

    « Our Albuquerque stay »

This was a very nice hotel. We had a suite. This was day one of our vacation. It was really nice to have the extra space to move around in. The beds were not too bad. We were able to rest fairly well.

    3
    « decent stay »

didn't like the old towels, noisy air, and small pillows; overall clean and nice people; had to have cards re-set several times over the course of 5 days - very annoying; not the perfect vacation stay, but clean and friendly and economical

« It worked for our family of 4 with 2 teens »

We stayed in Albuquerque as a stop on a long road trip. The check in process was a bit frustrating and slow because she sent us to the wrong room. Just a little mistake, but we had been driving all day and were tired. The room was very large and clean. It had 2 queen beds and a separate room with a couch that made into a bed. That was nice because everyone could spread out a bit. The location is nice because it is near the intersection of 25 and 40 but because it is right on the highway, there is some highway noise. The breakfast had lots of choices. The coffee was not very good. All and all, for the price, its a good place to stay.

    5
    « Best Western Ever »

I've stayed at a lot of hotels, mostly Best Westerns. This hotel was priced right. The breakfast was the best I've ever had. And the employees were so friendly. I would come back again and again! The location was right off of I-25 and also very accessible to I-40.

Albuquerque was a great stay on our trip from Phoenix to Denver. The room was clean, spacious with nice appointments. Breakfast was good and the staff was very attentive and helpfull. They even us helped us with booking the next hotel for second nitghts stay in Denver.

    4
    « large, clean rooms »

Stayed here with my family of 5. We were very comfortable in the executive suite. Lots of road noise though, so maybe request a room not on the highway side. The breakfast choices were good. The room seemed very packed, but then we noticed a larger room across the lobby so it worked out well. If you need a receipt, ask for it to be printed because it does not come through on email.

    5
« Clean, Comfortable, Full Breakfast »

We were totally comfortable staying there. It is conveniently located to the highway and stores. They served a full breakfast (eggs, sausage, yogurt, waffles, juice, bagels, pastries, coffee, tea, hot chocolate). Ice water is also served in the lobby. Large indoor pool and spa area. I would definitely stay there again!

    5
    « Easy »

While traveling and going to Texas stopped late to find a room. Sign said three mile and since I wanted an early start thought I would stay in Historic District. Easy to get to and the staff was pleasant and asked if I had any discounts such as AARP or ? My room was nice and clean. Got an early start after a good sleep. Will stay there again.

    5
    « Excellent value »

Excellent value to visit Albuquerque. The swimming pool and hot tub were great for the kids. We had enough room for a family of 5. The breakfast was good. The location of the hotel was very convenient.

    « Relaxing visit »

This motel was a wonderful place to relax. We had driven ten hours and needed to recoup and this met our needs. From the minute we checked in and Kayla, the front desk clerk, checked us in and gave us information about food delivery companies to when we stepped into our suite, everything helped us feel welcome. Excellent room and satisfying breakfast topped off our experience. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

    5
    « Impressive! »

Best Western has entered the major leagues with the Plus Executive Suites in Albuquerque. Spacious room and comfortable beds making it a very pleasurable stay. Also, the room rate was very reasonable. My only complaint was the WiFi was slow.

    4
« Beautiful property, great front desk staff »

My suite was lovely and immaculately clean. The lobby is gorgeous. The pool is nice. The breakfast wasn't bad though I'd still rather have $10 off the room than the breakfast. My issue with the property is the noisy guests after 11pm and kids running in the hallways! The parking lot is not secure and two vehicles were broken into and robbed during my stay.

    5
« Good suite hotel conveniently located. »

Nice suite of rooms with comfortable king bed. Nice and spacious for a multi-day visit with more than usual in-room time. Plus: tv, desk & chair, sofa and small fridge/microwave in living area. Minus: no tables No coffee table, no end tables. A little awkward to balance drinks or snacks in front of tv with no table. Bedroom has nice bedside table sand lamps plus another TV. Chest with luggage shelf plus extra luggage racks (2!) in closet Iron, ironing board, hair dryer all furnished. Very clean and comfortable for extended stay. Indoor pool, free parking, and free wifi are pluses. Breakfast (included) includes a nice array of eggs, bread, muffins, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt and fresh fruit. Good location at an I-25 exit north of downtown but not too far from anywhere in city.

    5
« Great Service, Convenient Location, Very Clean »

Prompt and friendly service. Room was immaculate. When we found our refrigerator non-functional at night, it was quickly replaced by a friendly maintenance man. Our only not quite up to snuff experience: morning baked goods were stale-tasting every day, and staying for 6 nights, we'd have liked a little variety in our hot protein dish, not scrambled eggs and sausage (once bacon) every morning. Otherwise the breakfast and coffee were good and plentiful

    « Nice updated rooms! »

Great place for families, the kids love the indoor pool...the rooms are large and spacious with comfortable beds, they have updated microwaves and refrigerators. Close to interstate and restaurants. Great breakfast.

    4
    « Good value »

Considering everything this was a good value. The location is ideal for those traveling I25 and not bad for those traveling I40. We originally stopped at the location on Rio Grande but they didn't have any suites, so we then went to the location off I25 at Montgomery.

    4
« Good place but maintenance is behind. »

Room was nice suite with separate room for desk and couch. Good for a couple if one wants to sleep while the other gets up or stays up. Each room had a separate TV. AC top cover fell off when I tried to set temp. A noisy ventilation system ran all night. The bathroom had a VERY noisy fan. The fancy flex height shower arrangement squirted water out the side of its flex joint, a spray that sometimes went over the top of the shower curtain and onto the floor. Nice table for Internet work. Their breakfast bar had good food with sausage, eggs, cereal, etc. While we were there two bus loads of guests all came to breakfast at the same schedule and all brought their luggage to the lobby. Apparently their schedules were all controlled by the bus schedule as a group rather than the random times that guests show up for breakfast. The breakfast staff kept up, but seating became full and even walking became blocked. Several people took their food to their rooms. I was unable to use the guest laundry because the front desk did not provide quarters. Good ice machines. I get annoyed by ubiquitous video monitoring throughout the hotels. I suppose its for security, but smile, you're on candid camera.

« Family Road Trip to Yellowstone »

Our family booked 5 rooms at this hotel and we all wish we had chosen a different hotel. This hotel is close to the highway and the road noise was terrible!!! The ACs had trouble keeping up with the heat and the place just seems old and tired. The staff was did a good job trying to make everyone comfortable.

    « The Best Yet »

A friend and I recently traveled through 7 states visiting friends and relatives and enjoying side trips along the way. Each afternoon we would decide where we wanted to stop for the night and then call Best Westerns. Our favorite without a doubt was the one is Albuquerque. It was decorated beautifully and had a great indoor pool. We had a room equipped for the handicapped with a roll in shower. Quite often we found that these don't drain well and water runs all over the bathroom. However, this one had been well planned and the water stayed in the shower. The icing on the cake was the receptionist, Meressa! She made us feel at home as she was so nice and helpful! She gave us great directions and suggestions for our daily road trips. She printed out a map to help us which was very much appreciated. I felt like she really cared about our experience in Albuquerque. She is a great asset to Best Western! Another feature of this B.W. is that they had silverware that actually was useful at breakfast. We noticed that all the B.Westerns that we stayed in during our three week jaunt used very flimsy knives that would not cut the yummy waffles that were such a treat. This B.W. used sturdy forks and knives which made eating much more pleasant. It can't cost that much more to purchase decent utensils! Also, this B.W. had the largest variety of breakfast foods and the lady who prepared the food was always present to replenish all. I am only sorry I don't know her name as I would love to acknowledge her. As you can tell, this was a wonderful experience! I look forward to staying here again when in the area!

    5
    « Great Service »

Right from the start you could tell you are welcome. The girl at the front desk (Kayla) was one of the friendliest, most professional, and efficient people I've met. She led us to a great place to eat. Rooms were nice and quiet. We were not scheduled to stay in Albuquerque on our trip back through but changed our plans and stayed here again. There were three of us on a motorcycle trip and they even let us park under the front portico. Will defiantly stay here again.

    5
« Relaxing well situated convenient for getting around easily »

    « Nice Place overall. »

Generally nice hotel, breakfast, pool, staff. Nothing to complain about here! we checked in late around midnight and checked out around 11:00am. Breakfast was good, pool a bit cold, but still warm enough.

« Nice Hotel, Great Location »

Great location - convenient to the ABQ zoo, Route 66 and restaurants. The rooms are very big as is the bathroom. You get 2 TVs. It has a big fridge. We enjoyed the Continental breakfast. The beds are big, but I recommend bringing your own pillows The rooms are not the "prettiest" decorated, but that is fine. In June 2016, there is construction in front of the hotel

    « Great hotel!! »

I always worry about booking hotels online therefore always go to places like trip advisor to help make my decision easier. This hotel had mixed reviews but I decided to go ahead and try it. I am glad I did. This was a great hotel very centrally located. It was very clean, we rarely heard people around us. The pool was very clean and well kept, our room looked very clean everyday and these room were very spacious compared to other hotel rooms. We were very happy with this hotel and would definitely return if we were in the area. My only complaint would be the breakfast there were not very many choices they only thing that ever changed was what they served with scrambled eggs. But we got a very good rate and I figure you are getting a free breakfast you really can't complain much about free. Overall a great stay at a great hotel!

    « Good spot! »

Rooms were laid out well so that an early riser was separated from the sleeping area. We were located immediately across from the pool, and even though families were using it, we heard nothing. Older property, but well maintained. A good night's sleep!

    « Very Dated Rooms »

Stayed here overnight while passing through. Clerk was exceptionally helpful and lobby looked updated but rooms were very dated, though clean. TV small. Lights very bright. Disappointed - next time we will spend a little bit more and go to Hampton or Drury.

    5
« Very nice place to stay! »

We stayed here for three days, the staff were all very nice and went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast was nice again the staff here were very good. The only negative is it is a bit hard to get too. Not in any way the staff or hotels fault. It is conveniently located, but with the construction in the area a bit hard to get too. The room was very nice and very clean, the property was quiet even being located next to the interstate.

Rude customer service by evening girl k i think her name was. Great customer service from marisa she was new but handled herself well under stress for a guy was giving her a hard time. She was alone she smiled and still was able to greet everyone with a smile. Breakfast was great and the rooms where nice. It was a little hard to get back to freeway but that is out of there control over all good stay other than the rude customer service from the evening lady. All I can say about this place is amazing! What made it so amazing was the front desk clerk, Kayla!! She is a gem and definitely went over and above for us! It was our anniversary and she upgraded us to a presidential suite, gave us a bag of goodies, an anniversary card and places for us to eat!! Room was clean and breakfast was good. Customer service was totally awesome! Thank you!

    « Best Stay ever »

The BW in Albuquerque is the best hotel we stayed in during our 13 day road trip. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and more...They helped us plan our next stay and gave suggestions.. The hotel was extremely clean. I would recommend this BW to anyone going to Albuquerque. Pricing was also excellent. HOtel was also easy access to I40 and I25

« Hotel was nice, staff good, a few issues »

We chose the hotel based on TA reviews and were pleased we did. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful and the rooms were clean, however there were a few issues: - getting to the hotel from the Northbound I25 exit was difficult - the parking spaces were small - a lot of the rooms had connecting doors, but we didn't experience any noise - it was nice to have the 2 rooms but they felt small and the glass jacuzzi surround was a bit imposing - the room with the sofa bed had a window onto the main hallway which felt a bit strange - breakfast was a bit chaotic but provided a good selection We did enjoy our stay and would return.

« Older but very nice. »

Older property renovated nicely. Staff was excellent. Breakfast had usual fare, mostly eggs and saugage. Sometimes omelets. The young lady behind the counter will happily cook your egg(s) as you desire. Our room was on the second floor as requested, any outside noise was nicely masked by the new air conditioner which worked flawlessly, which guaranteed some lovely sleep. The room was really clean, I liked the door that seperated the entry area of the room from the sleeping area, that kept the cool air within the sleeping area. Free USA Today, I was surprised by the excellent coffee. Really good! Did not use the indoor swimming pool, saw other guests enjoying it. Watched it being checked for proper chemicals and being vaccumed. There was some kind of lift by the swimming pool and one by the hot tub, looks like it was for a disabled person to be lowered into the water. The only issue was departing the premises heading east during rush hour. Montgomery Blvd NE is extremely busy and rather than risk problems getting through three lanes of traffic, we let the GPS guide us on the Pan American NE highway. Not a major problem, easily avoided. Oh, and beware of the hot water... if you like it REALLY hot, then that's how you can get it, otherwise, be wary when using, especially with children. We had rooms 230 and 232. They had connecting doors, but furniture restricted them from opening. Last comment - about 15 minutes after checking into the room, we received a phone call from the desk clerk asking if the room was up to expectations. Yes, it was, but the elevator she had mentioned located at the end of the building was out-of-order. (This was an issue for us elderly people). The next night, it was in working order. nice.

    « Great hotel. »

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are nice and clean. Everything is in good condition. We stayed in their suite, and it is large and nice. Two Queens and a fold out couch for our third child. It has an excellent extended Continental breakfast. Everything that you are used to, and more. Six trimmings for oatmeal and six more for waffles. The eggs and sausage are of better quality than most other places that we have stayed.

« Nice Rooms and Good Free Breakfast »

Great for newlyweds. The enclosed by glass shower is next to the bed in some of the rooms. The rooms are quiet, the AC is good and the beds are comfortable. There is no airport shuttle though and the cab is about $25,

« Mixed bag, it was okay »

We stayed early May 2016. The front desk was great and very helpful. Breakfast was okay, what you expect for a free breakfast. The downside to our stay was the pool being too cold, also I left a phone / usb charger in the room. Called the hotel later in the day after we had checked out and driven 500 miles. I asked to pay for postage to have it mailed back. I was told they didn't have it in the back room, and would ask the cleaning staff and call me back. Called back 2 days later and was told it was never found. I would have liked a return call either way. Also the microwave cord was too short to plug in where they had it located, had to move the microwave to use it. I have to say I preferred my stay at Days Inn that was 40.00 cheaper per night.

Everyone was outstanding. Room was one of the best I have stayed in. I would like to have stayed there more nights and will definitely stay there the next time I am in New Mexico. I recommend it highly.

    « Very Nice »

This property is a little old, but kept up very nicely. The suites are large and roomy, with TV's in both rooms. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. I have stayed here a couple of times. The location is kind of hard to get to and get out of. But it is right off I-25.

    « Great place! »

We were looking for a good deal close to I25 for our periodic trips through Albuquerque. This place turned out to be a real gem. Close to the highway with easy on and off, quiet, well maintained, and reasonably priced.

« Check your room first »

You may want to view your room first, before you bring all your stuff to the location. I will for sure on the next trip. also notice where the lift is and the pool, the noise there were very loud late into the night even after the posted closing.....not fun if its been a long day and you can see an inch of light passing under the door....needs some attention to detail.....thanks

« Family Reunion Trip To Albuquerque New Mexico »

Room was clean upon arrival, woke to a flooded bathroom due to a ceiling leak from room above, was promptly moved to another room, however, that room had not been cleaned from prior tenants. Called desk, the immediately moved us to another room which was clean, they assisted us in moving as we had two toddlers and brought us breakfast. They were very helpful and did comp our room for the previous night. Was very satisfied with their help as the leaking ceiling was not their fault.

    « Pleasurable stay »

We stayed here while I was in town for surgery. We loved the door between the sitting area and the bedroom, which allowed me to rest while my husband watched TV. We stayed in 2 different rooms during 2 stays and my biggest complaint with the rooms themselves was the bathroom door on our second stay swung out and if we didn't close it all the way we'd eventually end up walking in to it as it slowly floated open (I have stubbed toes as a souvenir). The high speed internet was great and the WiFi was reliable and not horribly slow. Beds were comfortable. But I wish all hotels would go back to adding a small blanket to the bed. I refuse to cover up with the down comforter as duvets are less than reliable at staying on. I bring my own blanket when I travel and the comforters end up on the closet shelf. Breakfast was your standard continental with eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereal, waffles. The dining area is tiny but they opened the conference room across the lobby when it got full. Which was nice as families with kids seemed to migrate there ;) Bathtub drains were slow and we would end up standing in 2 inches of water by the time our showers were over. But the water pressure was really good for a hotel, so that sort of makes up for it. Don't expect a 5 star resort, but for the price we paid, we were very satisfied both times.

    5
« Great Place to Stay »

We were on a road trip and stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was very nice -- clean with a friendly staff. The wifi worked great and breakfast was extensive with many choices. The pool and jzcuzzi were good, altho a little cold. It was convenient to have the exercise room right off the pool. Good location near the freeway. We had a suite which was very spacious with a fridge, microwave and separate sleeping area.

    4
« Nice place to stay, and a brewery not too far! »

As usual, Best Western quality was on display in the cleanliness of the room, the promptness of the service. We had the breakfast, and I thought it was better than most free breakfast buffets. If you stay here and you're a beer enthusiast, be sure to make time for the Canteen Brewhouse just 10 minutes away.

    2
    « Poor Customer Service »

While at this Best Western, the back window of our car was smashed and several items stolen. Personnel seemed uncaring. Breakfast was being served while we were dealing with police and we were not finished until shortly after they stopped serving. We mentioned we were disappointed that we couldn't have had our free breakfast, thinking that they may have offered to get something out for us (it was approximately 20 minutes after the breakfast time ended), but all we got was a shrug of her shoulder. Also, they have no security nor cameras which we find unusual. I should mention that we have tinted windows and our doors were locked, so we followed the rules. Will never go there again! (In all fairness, the motel itself was nice, no issues noted, but lack of security is unnerving)

« Base for Albuquerque/Chaco Canyon Day Trips »

Great service, friendly and courteous staff. Clean, pleasant rooms. Great location, just off I25 for easy access to entire area. Mulitple ways to 'beat the traffic' getting to and from hotel. Pool and other facilities were great.

    « A pleasant and convenient stay! »

The stay was pleasant, the room was awesome, and the staff were always courteous and helpful. My second floor room overlooked the pool and the first thing that surprised me was I didn't detect the odor of pool, which I would have expected. While there, I made reservations to return for another four nights in one month and for a weekend pleasure trip in October.

    « Late nite retreat »

Traveling is so much fun, but when you're tired and not even close to where you want to be the Best Western Plus is a stop for you. The hotel staff was extremely friendly the outer appearance was beautiful. The room was comfortable the cable was good. It was very quiet so sleeping was no problem even though a graduation party was going on. The cook to order breakfast was great.

    5
« Great placed to stay »

Excellent staff, and amenities. Good hot breakfast. Clean indoor pool, spa, and exercise room. TV reception not the greatest; some channels snowy, some channels break up. Minor issue was the very small trash containers in the room. Overall a great place to stay and would definitely return.

« Albuquerque Best Western is awesome »

This Best Western is great. The staff was very helpful on telling us about restaurants around area. The only thing they are redoing fitness center so they didn't have that much for you to use both my husband & grandson were disappointed in the. But over all we will be staying at this Best Western when we come this way next time!

    « Great Hotel & Staff »

This was one of the Top BWs I have stayed at. The room was clean and the décor was great. The staff could not be any friendlier. The entire experience was great and the hotel is in good location. The pool was having maintenance done but appeared larger than most pools at other BWs. I will stay here every time I am in Albquerque.

    4
« Clean room, a little crowded for a suite »

I'm never unhappy with BW and there was no exception here. The room was clean and stocked and the hotel is in a good location for the most part (getting in and out can be rough during peak periods) but I think that maybe there is too much stuff in the room which makes the suite part of it it so sweet. It was crowded with 4 people and bags and that amount of furnishing do not mix. If you're traveling as a couple, I think this place is great, a family, not so much just because of lack of room. The staff was kind and the hotel and pool clean and neat so overall it was a nice stay.

    4
    « Enjoyable stay »

Overall appearance was fine. Location was right off the freeway. Stayed here twice. Both times, the breakfast was great! Inside pool looked fun, but we did not bring our swimming suits. No maintenance person onsite to fix the AC in our room. But the kind front desk person moved us into another room, which was fine. Overall, we'd stay here again. Very convenient and clean.

    « Great Stay! »

Great room at a very reasonable rate. All the staff at this property were right on top of things and were all extremely friendly and courteous. This property is also located for easy interstate access, but is also centrally located.

    « Great location »

This hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable but they were a bit over priced. Breakfast had many choices, but I would have liked to see more selection with fruit.

« The Best Stay Ever! »

My husband and I had booked a flight and hotel through a local travel agency. The Hotel we were staying at "The LaQuinta Inn" in our opinion, was absolutely horrifying! We had no choice but to stay there the first night since our flight was so late. Needless to say, the next morning, we quickly scouted the area to find a clean, safe hotel room. We thought we would try "The Best Western Plus Executive Suites. From the time we arrived we were treated so kindly and made to feel truly welcome. We asked to be shown the room and we knew we had found the right place! We were in Albuquerque for a wedding and would be staying in the vicinity for three days. We have never been treated so spectacular by such a wonderful staff at ay other hotel. Patty (the manager) is truly gifted at making you feel right at home. Chelsea and Courtney were also very professional. These girls went out of their way to help make the remainder of our vacation days sweet and comfortable. What could have been a nightmare, turned out to be a blessing!!! We HIGHLY recommend" BEST WESTERN PLUS Executive Suites!"! You will not be sorry. The King Bed was comfortable. The Suite was very clean and well maintained. Service is excellent. Breakfast was so yummy with many fine choices. Best of all is the wonderful staff. We have stayed at many hotels and motels. Never, have we come across such a wonderful staff such as yours! From the bottom of our hearts we say "THANK YOU". Eddy & Crystal F.

We have stayed at this motel several times. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are quiet and comfortable even thought the interstate is nearby. We come to Albuquerque several times a year and this is the place we like stay.

EXCELLENT Motel! Great staff ready & willing to be of help with any needs! Very clean rooms with wonderful beds! Frig, Microwave & coffee maker in rooms as well as 24 hr coffee, tea & hot chocolate in lobby! This Motel has been a consistent great choice for many years!

« Nice stay for family groups »

This hotel worked well for our travels with two kids plus grandma - there was one large bedroom (2 queens) plus a separate sitting room with roll-out bed. We enjoyed the indoor pool (comfortable temp) and hot-tub, and the free breakfast and newspaper were a nice way to start the day. It's right off the highway, which was convenient for travel, but not within walking distance of anything but a gas station, unfortunately.

    5
« Great Place to Stay »

We chose this Hotel based on reviews by fellow travelers and were not disappointed. The suite had a comfortable sitting room with TV, separate tub / toilet area and a nice sized bedroom. The rooms were very clean. Although the highway was just outside, there wasn't traffic noise. The breakfast included eggs, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, bacon, rolls and many other goodies. We did not use the pool, but noticed it was equipped to accommodate physically challenged guests. I would definitely stay here should my travels bring me to Albuquerque again.

    4
    « Fun stay »

Everything here is great. Staff is very friendly. Just a few minor things, but always enjoy my stay here. Microwave needs upgrade, fridge is good, beds are comfy, breakfast is good and the coffee is wonderful.

    « Pleasant Service »

I was very satisfied with the facility. To be honest not all hotels are the best, but my experience staying here at Best Western was great. Nice clean, big rooms, they have everything you need, friendly staff, etc. A very well equipped Hotel. I would stay here again, our home away from home.

« Luxurious and with an in-room jacuzzi »

I had a great time at this hotel, where we stayed on our way to Carlsbad Caverns. I like it so much, I stayed again on the way back. I had a two-room suite with a large jacuzzii bath. I highly recommend this inn, and I would definitely stay there again.

    « Great stay »

Check-in was fine. The room was clean, comfortable , roomy and well-equipped. A perfect location to explore around Albuquerque. After a couple of nights out in the desert the pool was a special treat. The airport was reasonable to get to the next day. We didn't do breakfast because we wanted to return to a favorite spot before flying back to the coast.

    5
    « High standard value »

We have been staying at Best Western hotels while driving across the USA and once again we found the level of service, quality and cleanliness of the room and the bonus of a hot breakfast to be excellent. The executive suites in Albuquerque were all that we could ask for.

    « excellent area »

It is located in a perfect area to get to where we needed to. the staff was friendly. The breakfast was perfect . The sauna was nice after a long day. The parking lighting was well lit. The area was perfect to get to the malls and the meeting sites uptown.

« Easy access to highway, short distance to airport »

We stayed here during our visit to ABQ. The hotel was easy to access. Although close to the highway we did not experience any noise from the highway. They upgraded us to a very nice room during our stay.

    « I'll always choose Best Western »

I've discovered that Best Western can be counted on to be clean, friendly, professional and reasonably priced. This location has easy freeway access, nearby gas stations and restaurants. The staff has gone out of their way to return my Kindle that I left behind, and they corrected a reservation I made for the wrong night with no hassles. I travel through Albuquerque frequently and will always stay at Best Western Plus Executive Suites.

    « Albuquerque »

We stayed for two nights. Hotel staff was nice and very helpful. Room was clean and had the extra towels we requested. Only problem was the pool. It was really cold not sure if the indoor pool was suppose to be heated or not but we defiantly could not enjoy. Free breakfast was ok.

    5
« Good Room for family »

We liked our room. There were sheets for the pull out couch and everything was clean. We would appreciate another bathroom next time when traveling with two small children. The pool was fun and we got an hour late check out time easily. The pool was fun and pretty clean.

« Great place to stay! »

Very good value. For $109 plus tax, we were in an Executive Suite room, which is huge! Separate living area, microwave and refrigerator, desk, TV and love seat. The bedroom had 2 queen beds (very comfy), TV and dresser. The breakfast buffet was excellent, although the layout could've been better, as it got very crowded in there.

    « Excellent Service!!! »

We had a great stay at this hotel. We came for the weekend and we had so much fun that decided to stay one more day. The room was very nice. We had a refrigerator and a microwave. My kids loved the pool (very close to our room). Patty did a very good job suggesting places to have dinner at. We will come back to this hotel soon!!

    « In need! »

First the direction given by gps (no fault of the hotel) had me in a residential area. Grrr. Finally found the hotel. Lobby and looked great. Attendant was GREAT. The carpet in the hallways seemed filthy. The room seemed outdated. The spa tub.... well I was excited to use. As I lowered myself into the tub I noticed the calking was moldy and gross the bottom of the tub was peeling up. So needles to say I got right back out. The shower head did not angle well enough to actually take a shower. I had to hold the shower head to take a shower. The whole room is IN NEED.

    5
    « Excellent Stay »

I liked my stay, great comfortable room, the front staff was helpful and friendly. I happened to not pack a razor and shaving cream, as I was asking for a local store, I was given these items right then and there. I asked questions about the close local restaurants, the desk staffs information was beneficial.

    5
    « Nice rooms »

I stayed here on my way back home. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast lady gave me a little bag with snacks on my way out because the breakfast buffet was not opened yet. It was a really short visit, but I'm planning to stay here every time I come to Albuquerque.

    4
    « QUICK TRIP »

My stay was for one night with late check-in and early departure. Arrival was quick and they were ready for me. Great suite with king bed. Good price and morning breakfast. Helpful night staff and very fast check-out. Off of I-25, take Montgomery exit and an immediate left. Not much of eateries so bring food or drinks.

    4
    « Decent Hotel »

The hotel itself was a normal Best Western Plus hotel. The only issue is the location; it is quite hard to turn into the frontage road in front of the hotel if you are coming from downtown. However, it isn't too far away from downtown or Sandia Peak.

    2
« Not worth the price »

I was expecting more of this hotel based on the reviews on Tripadvisor. I paid for the jacuzzi room. The jacuzzi was wonky. The controls were only reachable by stepping into the bath. The "on" button kept sticking. The room furniture was cheap looking and old. The pool area had towels spread around, but no clean towels available. We had to go to the front desk for pool towels. There was hair in the pool (not mine). The breakfast was dried out and not hot. The bacon was very cheap quality with the consistency of tissue paper. The floor of the room had old carpet. We were only able to get one extra pillow, and we had to pick it up from the front desk ourselves. We were told there were no other extra pillows. The hotel is hard to get to from Pan American Fwy. There is no signage to explain where you turn and how to get to the hotel. The staff was nice, but it seems like the hotel is cutting lots of corners. I wouldn't pay $125 for that room again.

    4
« The stay was great »

We had no problems staying here and were treated very good. We would stay here again in a minute. The staff was very helpful in letting us know where to go and have a great meal. The rooms were big and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable.

I have to say that I was impressed. I wasn't expecting such a nice service. The breakfast was nice. Patty, the girl that was at the reception was very helpful. I will come back to this hotel and I will recommend it to all my friends.

    « Nice Place »

This Best Western Plus Executive Suite, in Albuquerque is a older hotel. However, the lobby, hallways, and my room were very clean. The TV remote in the bed room did not work very well. When I notified staff it quickly repaired. I was impressed. My room had adequate plugs to charge phones tablets and computer. The bed was comfortable with many pillows, wow. The over all room was comfortable. From my room, I could hear a little traffic noise. However it was not distracting. The shower was nice. If you are over 5'10 you probably would have to bent down to wash your head. The breakfast was better then most hotels. The eggs and sausage was well prepared. One issue is the location. It is a little challenging getting to and from the property from the roadway. The staff was polite. I have saved this location in my GPS and I would rebook this place again. Remember to leave a tips for the housekeeper; they truly deserved it.

    « Always a great stay! »

This hotel has become one of our families favorite hotels! It provides us with plenty of room for the 6 of us, the breakfast is great and we love that the pool is filled with saline water instead of chlorine water. My kids skin doesn't get irritated!

« Superb Customer Service and nicely appointed rooms! »

Very spacious rooms. Customer service was terrific. Front desk staff was very accommodating, specifically Briannah. Briannah has a winning, upbeat attitude and understands the value of each customer. We had a couple issues with a draining issue in the bathroom and Briannah responded rapidly. The issue was resolved within 20-25 minutes. :) We will return to The Best Western Plus Executive Suites for our next visit to Albuquerque.

    « Exceptional Customer Service »

Brittany, Patty & Suzette went out of their way to make our stay for my daughter's birthday special & personalized. Every request was given immediate attention with exceptional customer service. Breakfast was included in our stay. Food was plentiful and kept rotated consistently through out the morning. Fresh water and coffee were available 24/7. The pool and hot tub were great places for the girls to gather and relax or have fun. I will recommend this facility to anyone looking for a staycation or vacation any day of the week. Thank you again for making our stay an awesome experience!!

« Excellent Stay at Best Western Executive Suites »

We recently stayed at the Best Western Executive Suites & hadn't made reservations & were happy to get a room. The employees were all friendly & helpful. What a lovely suite. It has a separate living room with a TV, microwave & couch. It was also very quite. It is located within10-15 minutes from any type of restaurant you could want. It is close to the highway so we had easy access. I definitely would stay again at the Executive Suites.

Staff very polite and helpful. Room was huge with sitting room, 2 flatscreens, fridge, microwave, desk, couch. Very clean, smells nice. Bed comfy, quiet hotel, we slept great. Close to many food choices. Bathroom clean. We could see our truck from our room window which is very nice. Grabbed some free breakfast and hit the road refreshed. Price VERY good and reasonable... We will be back !!

« Could have been nice but problems were unacceptable. »

This appeared to be very nice hotel at first. Room was large and clean. Room was nicely decorated. We had a whirlpool suite. Unfortunately, the whirlpool tub was not working. Front desk staff was very friendly and moved us to a different room. When we tried to fill the whirlpool in this room, we had no hot water. Front desk staff reported that one boiler was down and some rooms did not have much hot water. She let us try to water in all the whirlpool rooms and none had hot water. All whirlpool rooms were on the third floor so we assume the whole third floor had limited hot water. Hotel staff did credit us for the stay. This would be nice hotel if repairs had been done.

« Last Minute Hotel Stay »

This was an unexpected delay in our trip and it was a last minute decision to stay. We were able to get a room at last minute and we were not expecting much, but it was an excellent room for 5 of us at a very reasonable price.

    « Clean and comfortable »

The standard room is a two-room suite with a sofa bed in the first room. There is a door between the bedroom and the front room The suite was nicely decorated and well maintained. The pool area was decent, not fancy, but with a nice tiled hot tub. Coming downstairs at 9:40, we learned that breakfast ended at 9:30. Judging front the remnants, it was a decent spread. If you want good, not-overpriced New Mexican cuisine, check out Fiesta's Cantina a couple blocks away at Montgomery and Carlyle.

This hotel staff was friendly and helpful giving us direction for supper places. Hotel was very clean and property well kept. The location is convenient. Breakfast was adequate but not any thing special. I would stay here again.

    « Breakfast food »

Was terrible. Staff wasn't friendly. Just stood behind counter talking spanish to her co-worker. Felt that was very rude and no offer of hot food was made. Just what was left on counter. Food was messy and cold, countertop was messy with food. Definitely needs improvement and friendlier english speaking cooks. Not to be mean but I'm native and when I speak my language I make sure it's not to offend others especially when I have a job to do.

Very clean, fresh, and close to everything. Shopping, dining, and the freeway. Nice 2 room suite, with large TV in each room. Very nice, large, indoor pool and hot tub that were well maintained. Clean carpeting both in the room and in the hallway. Indoor room entry, and the inside is well lighted.

Nice quiet stay right next to 1-25 but could not hear traffic at all. Good hot breakfast with eggs sausage salsa and green chili. Great employees that made the check in and out process very smooth. The hot breakfast is why I chose to at Best Western on this trip and I was happy that we did. My wife and I will stay at Best Western when we travel in the future. Thanks Best Western for a great stay.

    « Awesome »

I had a room with a non working hot tub and was fixed immediately. Staff was nice and friendly and helpful. Ample parking close to different services and room service was fast (and expensive). The hot tub was great after a long day and was perfect for unwinding.

As a new diamond member, I wondered if anyplace would give extra attention. This facility did. First I was given a goodie bag upon arrival. Everything was perfect, not even one complaint. Thank you and your people for the kindnesses.....

    « Great property - highly recommended! »

Every staff member I had occasion to talk to whether asking directions or a good place to eat locally was extremely friendly and helpful, including the general manager Brad. It was a great experience for the 3 night stay there. Very nice property - beds were very comfortable, room was extremely clean and large, jacuzzi tub was awesome. I would definitely stay there again!

    « Great Hotel! »

Located just off the freeway north of the interchange is a perfect spot to spend the night. The staff are great, the breakfast was wonderful, and the room was perfect. Every room is a suite so it's a perfect little apartment style home for traveling or doing business. There are long corridors to all the rooms and when we stayed the pool and hot tub area were under renovation. All was good and a great location as you travel through or stay and visit. It's close to downtown and many amenities. It's only an hour from Santa Fe the capital the center for arts and history.

    « Great Customer Service »

I had to make reservations last minute for a family emergency. I first spoke with Brianna and explained that I wasn't able to be there, but i would have family checking into my room. She was very helpful in directing a suggested route to book to make this possible. After making reservations, i had called back and spoke to Susette, she was very personable on the phone and helped me insure that my reservation was set up correctly. I live in Wi, so taking care of arrangements for family was made very stress free with these two ladies. I have stayed in the past and have yet to be disappointed with the staff.

« Great Stay as ALWAYS »

My family and I travel for competitive gymnastics and have always stayed a the Best Western Hotel Chain. This hotel is always treated us well and I would recommend it to anyone that is desiring a great nights sleep. This hotel has always treated me and my family like their family and I appreciate it. The only thing that I would suggest to the hotel is to update the wireless servers to accommodate streaming capabilities. After my children went to sleep, my wife and I wanted to watch Netflix, but we could not do it do to buffering issues. Other than that, this is a wonderful hotel.

    « Average Stay »

The front desk employees were average. Friendly enough. The rooms were also average. Clean but dated. Expected a little more from a Best Western Plus. Mini fridge didn't work. Pillows weren't the most comfortable.

    « Very excellent facility & services »

We' ve had a great experience, & we have been made to feel @ home during our stay! The continental breakfasts have been wonderful with very co-operative & friendly staff. The premises are kept very clean & tidy. Access to a computer & the internet allowed us to maintain contact with friends & family, as well as attend to some personal business.

This hotel was very clean, professional and cozy. I was very pleased with the continental breakfast as well. It was very good! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are a good size. The bathroom is also a very good size, not tight fitting at all.

I found the hotel well managed and clean. A hot breakfast each morning was a treat. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff pleasant and accommodating. To exit the hotel it is best to take the side road out ask for directions.

Selected this Hotel due to it's proximity to the highway. Easy on and easy off. Great property, professional staff and spacious room. Breakfast was a real plus. I recommend this property to anyone going to or passing through Albuquerque.

    « Ok room »

We had a handicap accessible room., not by choice. The bed was not at all comfortable!. I tossed and turned!. My fit bit even showed my horrible sleep. Not too soft, not too firm, just an comfortable bed. Maybe it is old. The shower had no power. I couldn't wash all shampoo much less the conditioner out. The breakfast was nice with a kitchenette staff keeping it stocked and fresh.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the size and cleanliness of the room. One large bedroom with a separate sitting room with a door that closed to the bedroom for additional privacy. Each room had it's own TV. The sitting room had a hide a bed couch. The bathroom is large and the water was hot and plentiful. We know the Albuquerque area quite well and choose this hotel for its proximity to I 40 West and the down town area. It is on the East side of I 25 on exit 226 A and 227. Even though it is right next to the highway, it was extremely quiet. There was lots to choose from for breakfast, and the indoor pool is VERY large, something you don't see in hotels any more. The staff was accommodating and friendly.

    « Nice Hotel »

Nice place with a good location. Good room with comfortable beds. Also nice breakfast. Only issue I had is that I used my rewards points but my credit card was charged $34.00 without my consent or knowledge...still working through that with them.

    « great hotel experience »

We booked this hotel because of the great reviews on trip advisor and the great price. I booked our reservations 11 months ahead and got the going rate at that time ,not festival rate.We had 2 great suites, they were adjoining, extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. The desk people were great and very friendly. The usual breakfast times were totally changed for the convenience of the fiesta goers. It was ready at 4:30 am and still going at 9:30 am. We had a wonderful time at the Fiesta and this hotel was a big part of that.

« Best Western PLUS Executive Suites, Albuquerque, NEW Mexico »

This was a great hotel to stay at during the balloon festival in October. The room and hotel lobby was very clean and well maintained. The staff were exceptional in relation to: a) advising me regarding local restaurants and providing information on local attractions b) arranging for a bagged breakfast snack to take to balloon fest c) responding to any other queries. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

« Hotel has my best rating »

The price was right. The room was very nice. I had all our needs met. We had mentioned to the manager we were going to the Balloon Festival. He printed out all the event times and ways to travel on a shuttle. We were given options if we wished. We also were informed of restaurants in the area. My family was all happy. We would stay at this hotel if we pass through this city. We would not return to the balloon festival due to very poor planning for all the people. Too many paid the price with advance tickets and were still turned away.

« Highly Professional General Manager »

During our stay, I was traveling with an elder father and a guest that made travel very complex. The rooms were large, very clean, well furnished, and the rate was excellent. Inadvertantly, I left my brief case with my lap top in it, in the room. Mr. Brad Merrill, the site General Manager, took it upon himself to arrange that the briefcase was returned to me promptly, even in my isolated location in the Snowy Range in Wyoming. He followed up with two telephone calls to ensure that the brief case was returned. He went well beyond the call of duty and provided an exceptional example of providing travel services support during a complex situation to the traveling public who had used the facility that he managed. Hopefully, Best Western Plus sees his value as an impressive member of their senior management team. Great work Brad!! Thank you so much. Mark Ufkes, Seattle, WA

« Excellent choice for Balloon Fiesta or Old Town! »

Older but clean and well kept, with spacious rooms and excellent breakfast provided. Maid service was well done and timely. Located right off I25 at Montgomery, 10 minutes to Hot Air Balloon Fiesta and 10 minutes to Old Town Albuquerque. Other than breakfast, there is no restaurant on site but many restaurants across highway on service road.

« Nothing to brag about »

This is just an average, run of the mill hotel to sleep overnight and continue with your plans. Although the proximity to I-40 is a plus, getting to the hotel eastbound on I-40 can be tricky and somewhat dangerous for people not familiar with the area. The front desk personnel could use some training on how to be nice and useful to visitors.

It is nice to know when you check into any hotel that you have a safe, clean, and quiet place to stay when you are away from home. This hotel exceeded our expectations as it should be. Thank you for this hotel.
