Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn

The manager, Robert, and his staff (particularly Gillian and Maria) always ensure we have the most pleasant experience possible. This is our "go-to" motel twice a year as we leave CO for AZ or CA for the winter months, then on our return back to CO. Access to the property is easy from I-40, and there are quality restaurants and other amenities close by.

Unplanned road trip due to medical emergency and relocation of mother who was in hospice. Stopped because we needed rest. Service was less than satisfactory and response from general manager was worse. I plan on sharing my experience with board of directors along with communication from general manager telling me to research, make a Reservation, and his hotel may not be for everyone.

Fantastic stay at this Best Western. All of what you would expect (clean rooms, friendly staff, and decent prices) plus the great feeling that everyone went above and beyond to accommodate guests. Especially with the cook-to-order complementary breakfast. Good food and GREAT service (as well as for dinner the night before). Would definitely recommend this location.

We stayed two nights here. Room was large and clean. A bit dated, but worked out for us. Near Old Town and Route 66. Breakfast was made to order. We brought our small dog with us. $30 per night extra. They had dog bowls in the room, a nice touch. Bed was comfortable. Didn't hear neighbors. WiFI worked well. Restaurants and stores nearby. Would stay again.

Older Hotel but very clean. Price was a little higher than other Best Westerns further away from where II needed to be. Facility is well lighted and security was good, doors lock behind you and you have to have a card to get in.

Been on the road from DC heading to Henderson, NV which is about 35 hours total and when I stopped here I had to wake up at 3:30am to get to Nevada before the winter storm came through. So when I woke up at 3:30am to take my shower to find out the shower didn't even work was so much fun!! I love taking a bird bath at 3am. Also found long strands of hair in the sink and on the toilet seat from who stayed there last!

We have stayed at this hotel both on our way to and from Arizona. We travel with pets so we know to contact the hotel to make sure a pet friendly room is available. The staff is really welcoming. They offer treats for the dogs and there are plenty of places to walk the dogs. The pet rooms we have stayed in have laminate type flooring so you don't have to worry as much about accidents. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Additionally the restaurant that is attached (Wild Avocado) serves a delicious breakfast and the staff there is awesome as well.

It's a nice looking Hotel and has a restaurant within the hotel,  and it definitely had a family-friendly vibe. I have stayed there many times and enjoyed it each time. The hotel has that Southwestern flair to it.  I did get free vouchers for breakfast and discount on happy hour drinks. I did go to the bar, and the bartender was really kind and did a great job.. It was a clean, nice hotel and staff are very attentive. I ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant within the hotel, was jason said grimly. I enjoyed a hatch green chili breakfast burrito, with bacon one morning, For dinner, I had some wonderful homemade.  tamales that were stuffed with the seasoned chicken and covered with a really nice  Green Chile, it came with rice and beans.  Every time I was there, the food was served relatively quickly, and it was hot and delicious I would tell you like other hotels that it can be very busy in the morning so you have to either come early  or you have to be ready to be wait a little or if you're retired and  and don't have a schedule come a little later but be patient with the staff because they're gonna be really pushed with a lot of people coming in enough for breakfast, You could always ask if it's gonna be a real busy time in the morning and if it is there are plenty of really good places for breakfast nearby. There are no microwaves in the rooms anymore. Because they want people to eat in the restaurant which is understandable. There is a community microwave on the third floor, and if you're there for an extended stay, you can get one put into your room. I can't say enough about the staff at the front desk. The bar and the restaurant. I'll always continue to stay at this hotel when i'm coming through Albuquerque.

Everything was great. Will always stay at a Best Western. Tried the Comfort Inn it was terrible. I have a service dog, and the Best Western is very friendly and helpful regarding this. They are as great to my dog as they are to me

Located just off I-40 and very close (within walking distance) to the old town. Liked that the parking lot in the back was gated. Seemed secure but dark. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the hot drink dispenser in the lobby. Ate at the restaurant Wild Avocado three times - for dinner; then breakfast; then breakfast again. The service was very good. We liked what we ordered especially the pancakes for breakfast. Service was excellent each time.

When we entered room there was an unpleasant odor. Accommodations were pleasant. Hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of Old Town. Good free breakfast. Plenty of luggage racks which is important to me.

I've stayed here numerous times, and like the place. I live a couple hours from Albuquerque, and come to town often. I get a room when necessary. Also, I'm at the highest level on best western rewards. With my job I stay in a hotel over 250 nights a year. I tried to get a room today, and was told that LOCALS ARE NOT WANTED HERE! I couldn't believe it since I've stayed here many times in the past. They said since Covid, they don't accept locals, but I've stayed here since Covid. They were also semi rude, the front desk and the manager on duty, were awful. I have never left a review before, ever, but this ticked me off. They couldn't explain why they don't accept locals, and I asked. Otherwise, this is a nice place to stay.

Beautiful property. Good restaurant and excellent bar. Just wishe they stayed open longer then 10pm. Rooms was nice and pool was nice and very clean. Staff was polite and very helpful. I would refer this hotel to others.

Not great First room was smelly because the air con was leaking and the carpet was soaking. They sent us to another room with out checking it. It had vinyl flooring and the air con was lying on the floor in bits. They apologised saying it was one of their dog friendly rooms. Third time lucky with the room being basic but acceptable.

this is now our go to hotel in ABQ...free shuttle to several location...free cooked breakfast with about a half a dozen choices...evening lounge with menu and great staff throughout the property with an old town location...they will take u there!!

Don't be fooled by the name BEST WESTERN. This was the perfect budget hotel that goes beyond good service. The staff is what makes this a perfect place to stay. The rooms are a bit dated however, the beds were great, clean, pillows big and fluffy. Extra towels for the asking. Free sit down menu breakfast, fantastic van service from and to the airport, Old Town and so many other places. Lobby 24/7 water, coffee, hot chocolate. Morning snacks and water to go. Bottle water just for the asking. Great location for what we needed which was close proximity to Hotel Albuquerque. We stayed 4 nights for a family wedding. Other family members stayed at different locations for more money and had issue upon issue. Our only issue was leaving such GREAT STAFF. Thank you BEST WESTERN PLUS.

Sara is the best bartender I have ever encountered, not even in Cancun I have had this incredible Margaritas. She is kind and her service is 5 stars. She made us feel welcomed and after a long day of driving we couldn't hope for a better service.

We LOVE this place!! People are friendly and helpful. We liked it so much we stayed a second time on our way back to Texas. The first time we stayed there we left our personal pillows in our room. I called there and they shipped them to our house. The restaurant attached to the hotel has good food and excellent people working there, too. I even recognized several people from our first stay. Highly recommend this hotel!! Pet friendly, too.

We stay here every time we come through Albuquerque, NM. Restaurant is clean service is just awesome. Front counter staff your manager should be very proud of you all, friendly and helpful. Their handyman [JOSH] IS REALLY great man and knows what he is doing Thank you to you ALL!!

Spent 3 days in Albuquerque at the BW Rio Grande Inn with my wife and young son. Had a pleasurable stay. Greatly enjoyed the service at the Restaurant. Very attentive and friendly servers, as well as the front counter staff. Will stay here again when in the area.

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The vending and ice machines worked just fine and everything in our room was perfect. My 91 year old mother was worn out from a week visiting family, and our stay here was just what she needed!

This hotel is in a convenient area right off the interstate. Even though it backs up to the interstate you can't hear it when in the hotel. The restaurant on site is convenient as well. Last time I was there was during covid so it was closed. I stay at this hotel every time I visit Albuquerque.

This hotel was wonderful, just like all the other Best Western hotels we stayed in on our recent vacation. What made the difference was the personnel. Beginning with Michael at the front desk, we found him to be very personable, accommodating, and he had a way of making you feel valued. We also appreciate the waitress we had, Denise. She was very patient, pleasant, and able to be flexible, with permission, when we ordered deviations from the menu. Good job, Michael and Denise!

Nice hotel next to a major highway. Road noise was not a problem, but the heater in our room was very loud. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast /dining room was very chilly (early February). You needed a jacket or heavy sweater. Food selection for both breakfast and dinner was good. The food was tasty. Internet was problematic. NO internet at all one day.

This hotel is dog friendly in name only. My dog was given a gift bag with treats. On the bag were a list of rules. Basically, my dog wasn't allowed to exist. Outside, there were no patches of grass or anything flat aside from parking spaces to allow dogs to relieve themselves. The only food available on property was restaurant only, but dog wasn't allowed there or to be left in the room. We were left without dinner. If you don't want dogs at your hotel, don't be listed as a dog friendly hotel. That's not what dog friendly looks like.

Great experience at the Rio Grande Inn. Staff was welcoming to us and our dog. Our room was spotless and bed was comfortable. Love that our dog is welcome and the hotel location is close to Old Town. Definitely will stay again.

The staff was very friendly when we checked in . There was a restaurant and bar in the lobby which was nice not to have to leave the hotel for dinner after traveling all day. Best western pet friendly policies and fee gave us a nice clean hotel to stay with our dog. We have looked for best western pluses to stay in for the rest of our trip !

Traveling through Albuquerque on our way to Phoenix with a small dog. Hotel room was clean an quiet. Restaurant on site was a plus as we were able to order take out and eat it in the room. Hotel and room were nicely decorated in a southwest theme. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

The location, very close to Old Town, right off I-40 is super convenient. Although I-40 is very close, it's elevated some so you do not hear the freeway noise (we also chose a room facing the pool side) inside. The historic art photos that line the hallways are amazing - gives you LOTS of information about the history of Albuquerque. The attention to detail is wonderful throughout. The coffee/tea/cappuccino machine in the lobby is awesome - always a hot cup of your choice 24/7. The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast vouchers were much appreciated and the breakfast was GREAT! The rooms are large and have a desk with chair plus a sitting chair and table. We stayed in a 2 queen beds room. All staff is very friendly and helpful.

The Thursday night live band is excellent.. However the music was so loud we couldn/t think of talkk in the ajoining restaurant. Therefore we were forced to eat dinner else where. The rooms could use some renovations. The bathroom for our room was very outdated.

The attention to detail in the decor of the hotel is fantastic. The southwestern theme with a current flair is carried out throughout the hotel, not just the lobby. The historic photos, that have a bit of color added, are in all the halls. Hammered tin light fixtures and room number plates are just one example. Having breakfast included in the hotel restaurant, via voucher, was another nice surprise! The staff were friendly and attentive. We called to ask for a rag to wipe down a motorcycle. A manager brought one to our room. That is great service. I would absolutely stay here again.

This place is awful! Don't know how it's still even standing and serving as a “hotel” it's more of a motel. Very dirty. Smells of cigarette smoke and has maggots! I have the pics to prove! So I contacted corporate and was told nothing. Actually was told in a very condescending way to “enjoy my trip.” Wasn't offered a refund. Nothing. DON'T go here! It has 4.2 stars that's insane!

We stayed at this Best Western Plus during a half way stop to our destination to Tulsa OK. Great experience. Clean, friendly quiet area. We had breakfast and it was delicious. We will be staying again.

Room was spacious and clean. The king bed was comfortable. Nice view. The free breakfast was sit down restaurant style. We had the pancakes and breakfast burrito The food was good and so was the service.

Hotel was nice, and was near the highway. The food was great, and with the breakfast vouchers being a great way to attract us to stay when looking online for a hotel. Parking was safe, especially with the parking lot gates being closed at night time

This hotel is an excellent location if you're planning to visit Old Town or any surrounding attractions. The staff is excellent and very helpful. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport and also to local attractions. Free hot chocolate and coffee machine in lobby The food needs some improvement but the bar and bartender, Leslie, are wonderful. Live music on Thursday night with lots of locals attending. Fun times Rooms are clean. Typical Best Western rooms but no lotion. Housekeeping left extra hair conditioner but no extra soap after a 4 night stay We would definitely recommend this hotel if you don't have a car because shuttle service was very convenient and always on time.

Lovely front desk staff and terrific attached restaurant. But the room ….maintenance needed more attention. The shower DID NOT WORK. NOR THE TUB. NO WATER. Had to wash hair in sink! Dead bolt did not work. Heater so noisy. Poor room needed care

Nice room. No microwave but was immediately delivered upon request. Tons of TV channels, excellent wifi. Luggage carts wouldn't fit into elevator without turning them at an angle, not all that easy with a heavy cart. Cooked breakfast to order in their Avocado restaurant was included, also daily maid service which has been eliminated at so many hotels. A great stay!

Easy walk to Old Town. Get a room facing the courtyard/pool as the other side is next to the highway. Front desk was great. Had a problem with my safe (self inflicted) and maintenance was there in a couple minutes. I never heard neighbors in other rooms, so that is a big plus for me. Comfortable bed.

Overall, a good hotel. The rooms have been refurbished but the hotel could use another refresh. We could hear tilets flushing and water running in rooms near ours. The staff was excellent. The food for a group setting was very good. I can see why the tour group uses this hotel.

We were greeted by Deja at the front desk. She was so friendly and helpful. This hotel offered either a voucher for regular breakfast with many choices or $7 credit for full choice menu. One for each guest. Our server, Jeraldine , was delightful and skillful!

This is my go to when visiting family in ABQ. The staff is consistently top notch and it's so nice to have a restaurant and lounge onsite. They were so helpful when I visited for a funeral and just always make our family feel part of theirs. Great location, solid food options, tasteful decor. The pool looked nice too though we did not partake.

I have traveled to many hotels in my day and can easily say that the staff of this hotel were the most friendly and helpful I've seen in a long time. They went above and beyond from the moment we booked to the moment we left.

Very highly recommend this hotel. It is within walking distance of the square in Old Town Albuquerque but they also have a shuttle service if you'd rather not walk. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The best thing was the breakfast. It's not a serve yourself buffet like most other "free" breakfasts; you actually get a menu to choose from and the food is great. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Oh, and we could see the hot air balloons from our window! We'd definitely stay again.

Everyone so friendly, caring,helpful and welcoming. Free shuttle service to many of the local museums, and other attractions such as the botanical gardens.Wonderful and delicious restaurants within walking.

The staff was OUTSTANDING...Although location is shown as right outside Old Town...it was actually quite a walk (consequently, we did not go because one member of our party did not walk well). The rooms (2) were quite small, but adequate for a short (2 night) stay. Nice to have a restaurant on site. The breakfast was very good...order off a special menu with full table service.

Not quite the stay I had hoped for. No hair dryer in the room (probably taken to provide another guest with a hair dryer) - took forever for the front desk to find one that worked (probably taken from another unoccupied room). TV remote didn't work. Another forever wait for a replacement and even longer for batteries to power it. Typical BW room. No desk lamp and electrical outlets that were old, worn and wouldn't hold charging transformers inplace.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice. The breakfast was fantastic and really made the stay worth every penny. Highly recommend this hotel with the sweet helpful employees and everything else.

Shuttle service to airport was great. Computers in computer room unusable. Room fridge missing bars on door, making door unable to hold water bottles. Food was great. Food service workers great. Some rooms have desk lamps, others do not, making desk unusable. A roll of the dice on that point.

I always enjoy staying at this Best Western in Albuquerque NM. I'm always treated well and everyone goes out their way to welcome me. I lost a quarter in the soap dispenser upstairs and was given what I needed complementary. A small but warm gesture and is why I love staying there. I always feel safe staying here so I'm sure you will, too.

I was in ABQ to drop my daughter at the University of New Mexico. I was pleasantly surprised by the great place we stayed. This hotel is clean, the staff are all helpful and friendly. The breakfast food was delicious and made to order. The pool was nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was easy to find, the people were friendly, CoryAne, and the place is very pet friendly. We enjoyed the wings and pizza from the rest. and felt safe, the parking was fenced. Place is very western and maybe the beds could get a upgrade, but we slept pretty well, Special dog bed in the room was great

What a great place to stay. Everyone was so friendly and the free breakfast was great. If you didn't use the voucher for breakfast you can use it for money off at the restaurant or bar. The shuttle provided free rides to some of the main attractions around the hotel and we were able to get Uber rides as needed.

We stop here every time we head back to visit family in Minnesota and Ohio, we stop on our there and back to AZ. The staff are great and the restaurant staff and the Lounge staff are all very friendly and professional We will be back

Front staff was professional, room was clean, parking lot felt safe, tasteful southwest decor. I liked the proximity to sawmill and all of it's food vendors. The pool looked like a nice place to hang out, but I didn't have time to try it.

Comfortable Place to stay. I was checked in promptly and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant served delicious food and their staff was very accommodating. I would recommend this motel to any of my friends or relatives.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel in June 2022. We were happy with our clean room and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast included with our stay was excellent and made to order off a limited menu in the restaurant. We did not swim in the pool but it is a safe 15-20 minute walk to Old Town Albuquerque. It also is a great location just off the #40 HWY. We feel the value for the dollar was good at this location. The Bar closed at 10 every night and we felt that was a bit early for tourist season. We found the staff to be really nice and friendly. Its not a Hyatt or Hilton so don't expect that. It is good as any best western and good value for the money. Free Parking also.

I am a loyal Best Western customer. I stay in their hotels more than 25 nights a year. I use their rewards program and am at the Diamond Select level. In my opinion, based on my experiences at other Best Western hotels, the management at the Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn is, in comparison, substandard and the rooms are shoddy. I will not stay at this hotel again. If you are a Best Western customer looking for a Best Western Plus in Albuquerque, I suggest staying at the Best Western Plus Executive Suits.

I can't say enough great things about the Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn. Wonderful location with lots to do nearby. Front desk staff was friendly, efficient and very accommodating. The restaurant was convenient with good service and excellent food, both for breakfast and dinner. The bar was lots of fun with great live music on Thursday evenings. The room itself was super clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The whole property was spotless. Highly recommend if you need a place to stay in Albuquerque!

Room was a good size. Room was clean. Parking is safe and secure as near I-40. Beds not comfortable and TV had problems--they did fix it once. They have coupons good towards breakfast in restaurant. Was a bit pricy for what they offer.

I was traveling through ABQ and did lots of research on best/safest hotels to stay at especially in this area. Many had iffy reviews on safety and due to other reviews on this place, I decided this would be my best bet. There is plenty of parking and I was able to park outside of the room I was staying at which gave me sense of security just to keep an eye on it. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff very kind. Complimentary kcups for keurig in room, mini fridge, nice tv and clean bathroom. Didnt do much exploring of rest of hotel but lobby was also very nice and clean. Received voucher for a made to order breakfast at attached restaurant. If looking for a safe spot, its worth it to splurge a little, especially in ABQ, if just stopping by for a night or so. Would feel comfortable with longer stay if I needed as well. Would come back!

Great value for the money! Van service (free) to airport and major attractions! Breakfast was very good as well as dinner! Would highly recommend great western to friends and relations! And will return in two years for our next IAPS convention!

The hotel could you a bit of brightening up and a refresh but otherwise it was excellent. The service was great. All the folks were interacted with where efficient and friendly bit the morning breakfast staff where the stars. Michael (female) was the best. She is the perfect server as far as we where concerned. The room was roomy and clean. There was plenty of hot water. The rooms have coffee makers and small refrigerators. You have to ask for a microwave which they will provide as long as there are some available. The hotel is right off the highway (good location for getting around) but where didn't hear any noise at all when sleeping. Old Town is just a short three blocks walk. Parking at the hotel is complimentary, amble and safe. Ice was readily available down the hall and the gym (although small (2 treadmills, bike, elliptical and weights) was fine. I used the gym 2 days and had no issue getting access to the equipment. At most there was one other person. You can get complimentary breakfast if you join the BW Rewards club which is free. This provides access to a subset of the attached restaurant's breakfast menu. The subset has about 8 offering which provide good breath such as: pancakes, waffles, breakfast burrito, oatmeal, fruit and yogurt, eggs+meat+ toast. Great breakfast with superb service.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent: Old Town, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Albuquerque Bio Park, and more.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times & it has become the only hotel we choose when staying in Albuquerque. It is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and it has a convenient location. This Best Western is also dog friendly which is great for when our dog is with us. They even had a dog bed in the room and dog treats when we checked in.

I was very pleased with the overall kindness and helpful nature of all the hotel staff. They continually made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay an enjoyable one. Whether it be directions to nearby locations for food or site seeing, they went out of their way to accommodate.

We stayed one night each on our way east & then again on the way back west. We had family and a dog traveling with us on the way out and just the two of us on the way back. We appreciated the accommodation for the family's pet dog, the laundry on site, and the Wild Avocado Bar & restaurant. We were lucky to catch The Cowboy Way western singing group, Jim Jones, Sheriff Jim Wilson & Deanna...what a treat to hear these folks sing and tell stories. Highly recommend this establishment. Quiet, well-maintained and friendly accommodating hotel & on-site restaurant.

Have stayed here several times. Never disappointed. Clean rooms, a little dated. Adequate parking. Good free breakfast. Within walking distance of old town. Good security in parking area. Easy access to I-40. Several fast food sites in area.

If you want to have a good night sleep, relax and enjoy your stay at a hotel, this is the place for you. Our room was clean, place is safe. Can't go in unless you have a key card. Breakfast was exceptional!

No complaints. Great value and convenient location to the plaza. Breakfast was good and the staff was extremely nice. If we ever get back to ABQ, we will definitely stay there again. We were in walking distance of Sawmill and many of the local restaurants. Another plus was the close proximity to the airport and freeway.

The Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn, in Albuquerque, NM, is by far the best hotel in Albuquerque. I am in hotels almost 100 nights per year and by far, this is one of the best! The service, quality of food, comfortable beds, excel!!!

The hotel was clean and has lovely decor. Room was clean and we had plenty of space. We had dinner at their restaurant, Wild Avocado. I had pasta and my husband had pizza. Both were good. There is a considerable amount of freeway noise, but it didn't bother us. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs. When you check in, they give you a voucher for breakfast in the restaurant. You have to choose from a set menu. I have to say that breakfast was disappointing to me. I had packaged yogurt, a small amount of fresh fruit, and a cold corn muffin that did not taste fresh. My husband had the breakfast burrito, which he liked.

My stay at the Rio Grand Suites in Albuquerque, NM was great. The room was exceptionally clean. The service was also very good, with good customer service. Sleep and quietness was perfect. I also felt that my vehicle was safe in the parking lot.

The breakfast experience was one of a 4 star delicious and hot The food came out promptly Coffee flavor was the highlight of our day Area was very close to getting back on the highway Motel area was extremely clean and kept fresh inside

Bathroom had hair on counter and floor. Was not told pool and spa wouldn't be open prior to the visit. Air conditioner was not cooling the room. Mold was in the shower. For the price I was disappointed in the stay at this hotel.

Its a great hotel with restaurant, bar, pool (year round outdoor covered in Winter), and shady patio. Great location close to Old Town and several museums, with easy access to I-40. The staff are super-friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because its an updated older hotel, so sometimes there are minor issues such as slow drains.

Well managed property. Friendly efficient staff throughout. Clean and interesting southwest environment. Free Hotel shuttle to the close by plaza area and to the airport on the hour. Restaurant serves tasty and various selections of NM and standard meals at reasonable prices during breakfast and dinner. Sign up for BW Rewards program for discounts. Good coffee is available in the lobby all day! I look forward to staying here next time.

Perfect location to reach the bike trails and the Old Town! The parking lot was fenced at night with only one entrance for safety. The staff was friendly and personable. Nice breakfast, but if you sleep late you will receive $ credit to other meal times. When I return to ABQ, I'll stay here.

We enjoyed our stay here. The pool was enclosed in April with a big white bubble to keep the heat in. We spent some time in the hot tub and it was great. This hotel gives out breakfast vouchers for breakfast in the restaurant. The voucher could be used not only for breakfast, but instead for $7 each off dinner or in the lounge as well. It was nice to have a choice. Overall good experience and I would stay here again. My only complaint with this stay was the “pool view” we paid for. First the pool is covered with a big white bubble in April so the pool can't be seen. The first room they gave us looked out over the parking lot and if the bubble hadn't been over the pool it wouldn't have been much of a view anyway. We were looking down at the street/parking lot. We called and they did move us to a better room with a larger window and at least we could see the court yard and the pool covered in the tent. I think the website should mention the possibility of the pool being covered and that there really isn't a pool view when it is covered. The big white bubble is actually quite ugly but does make the pool usable year round.

We recently stayed at the Rio Grande Best Western in Albuquerque for a family weekend trip. The hotel, including the restaurant, was very well staffed, and they were eager to please. The hotel is also very pet friendly and included a gated dog run. The hotel is extremely clean, and the rooms are very quiet. The location is easily accessed from I-40 and Old Town Albuquerque. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious.

Everyone on staff at this location went above what was expected. The only issue I ran into was a nonfunctional key card which was immediately addressed. I could not ask for better experience, more professional staff.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and nice. The security guard was friendly and pointed out a small dog run that the hotel had making taking our dogs out very enjoyable. I will stay there again any time.

I feel that this hotel is a little over priced and over priced for a week day stay. You can hear the people on either side of your room, the TV programs fade in and out and you have to leave the hotel area and walk outside to get the Lobby.

Check in and out was great. Both gals were extremely friendly, efficient, and kind. Wish I could remember names. Rio Grande in Albuquerque was an excellent stay. Have no complaints. Great room, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, excellent breakfast, restaurants within walking. You won't go wrong staying here. We loved it.

The breakfast was great. As a best Western rewards member, I had a free sit down hot breakfast every morning. There is a pool and hot tub. Pet lounger in the room for our dog. The beds were very comfortable.

To be honest, we were scrambling to get a hotel on Friday at 3:00 PM, for one room, for Friday and Saturday night. I used tripadvisor to find a decent hotel, and I was expecting to pay a lot which I did. I do not mind paying if I get what I paid for. The hotel was average at best, and the hot water ran out quick. We had issues with our TV, however they were prompt in fixing it. There is a mini keurig in the room, which my wife loved. It does have a native american theme, and customer service was good. However the price was just too much for what we were getting.

We traveled to Albuquerque with friends and stayed at this hotel and we were all very impressed with the facility. We had a lovely room, a great made to order breakfast and they provided a shuttle bus to the old town historic area which we did not expect

Good location. Near Old Town. Staff at the restaurant and at the front desk were friendly and helpful and housekeeping was great. too. Free airport shuttle is an added benefit. Food was good and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at about 5 other best westerns this week alone before we hit this one. This one was by far the worst and most expensive. The internet never worked. I was told to use it in the lobby then- but You can't study in a hotel lobby. Television kept turning on and off- someone tried to fix this by unplugging our fridge but that didn't fix the issue. Heater stopped working our room was freezing cold at 3:00 am. Shower felt like you were being stabbed a million times. Also breakfast only free if you're a best western member. But anyway, people were nice. Location was nice.

Love this Albuquetque property- always feel safe , welcomed, and honored! They do their best to meet my and dad's needs- especially around his safety and access to the property. Love that Albuquerque is so accessible from this location for all our needs. Plus they are good to my pups!

A clean affordable room with nothing fancy but everything you need. Pool is enclosed during colder months for year round swimming. Bathrooms are small and perfect if your 5' tall, which I am. Anyone over 6' (husband and sons) is going to struggle a bit. Over 6' 3”? This place is not for you. Why do the affordable hotels insist on putting carpet in the rooms? Go hard flooring for clean stink free rooms. So much easier to keep clean. This hotel us a great value for the area and maintenance efforts appear to be high.

Hotel is clean even though they allow pets. Most rooms are quiet and hey have a decent breakfast. We stay here any time we are in Santa Fe. We feel they have done a good job of keeping the hotel in good condition although there have been no noticeable updates/upgrades during the pandemic. Staff seems to wear face masks at all times.

The room we were giving was dark, weary, worn: the room and bath definitely needs a re-do. Very noisy heater; noisy room so close to the highway. We were traveling from Minneapolis to LA and this was the worst of our stays. Not as nice as other Best Westerns we have stayed at.

Nice hotel with excellent breakfast burrito. Friendly staff and a nicely appointed room in a convenient location near the highway and the Old Town. Employees were all masked which was not always the case as we drove cross country. Surprisingly quiet for a hotel near the highway.

In the morning after my night's stay at the Best Western Rio grande I was told that I could not extend my reservation due to issues from the previous night. I was in town for a consultation with my mother's doctor after finding that he was diagnosed with cancer and just wanted to get some rest before the consultation. My son and I got a room and when we called them in the morning to extend our reservation we were told that we could not do so but weren't given an explanation as to why. We were kicked out with nowhere to go and no way to pay for another room because we were using our Best Western rewards points to get a free night. It was an awful experience.

This hotel was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, check in and check out was easy and quick. The room was a nice size, comfortable bed and clean. The room came with a dog bed which my dog really enjoyed. She weighs 7 lbs. I did hear traffic noise from freeway.

We stayed at the BW Rio Grande Inn for two nights and were generally quite pleased with the room. I was happy to have a footstool where I could put my feet up, for one thing. The hotel has a decidedly western and Native American theme with nice decor. The bed was comfortable. The front desk staff are friendly. My only negative in this was that the older man who checked me in told me where to park and what door to go into. Unfortunately, it was not a working door (it was a no handle service door), and there was no elevator or carts there as he had said there would be. These were around on the other side of the parking lot than where he had instructed us to park.....and then from there we had to "hike" our luggage down a very long hallway. Being 75, this was not my favorite part of my stay since I was exhausted from our long drive through bad weather. I did love that they had vouchers for their restaurant for a hot, sit-down breakfast with various choices. The service was great (except for a very slow front of the house hostess). Overall, though, I like this hotel and would stay here again.

The staff, the decor, the comfort and cleanliness--the Rio Grande Inn has become our favorite Best Western hotel. Walking through the halls is like being in an art gallery or museum of local history--beautiful!

I can't remember a recent stay where the staff was as accommodating and friendly as here. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of as they would in a 5-star hotel. Wonderful! We were traveling with out large dog and they were more than reasonable in their pet deposit. Only downside was that the room was cold and the heater was noisy.

Enjoyed our stay. This hotel is unique . Many large, framed photos from the late 1800s and early 1900s decorate the walls. The room was very clean, traditional southwest furniture, comfortable mattress. Tasty breakfast burrito the next morning.

The lobby transported me to Mexico and the room was very comfortable. The biggest surprise was the breakfast vouchers to be used at their regular restaurant. Compared with the typical Best Western breakfast offerings, this restaurant was outstanding! I was impressed by all the options the vouchers included. We were treated like royalty. When we left town, I realized about 5 hours down the road that I had neglected to check-out when I saw the room card in my purse. I called to let them know and they were very pleasant, not bothered in the least, saying they checked us out that morning. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

This is a great hotel because of the attention to detail by the staff across the hotel. After we checked in, they called our room to ensure everything was satisfactory and that we were happy with the room (that is the first time happening to us). Walking distance to Old Pueblo was nice as we arrived late and was able to walk to the district for dinner. We had breakfast the next morning in the restaurant and the staff there were very friendly as well. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights: 4 nights with our tour group and 3 additional nights on our own. We had asked for a quiet room, not close to the freeway, elevator or stairs. Our room was approximately 100 feet from the freeway. The noise was nonstop, all night long. Emergency sirens. Racing motorcycles. Loud muffler cars. In the bathroom, the adjoining vents transferred conversations loud and clear. Flushing toilets were LOUD and could be heard throughout the hotel corridors. I spoke with Zach at the front desk. He told me that my tour group only buys rooms facing the outside. I would have to pay additional if I wanted a room facing inside the courtyard, pool. My tour director told me that this information Zach gave me was not correct. My tour buys the number of rooms needed for its tour members. The hotel staff designates what rooms go to each person. I also spoke with Michael, supervisor. He had NO interest in changing our room. Room card keys often did not work. These same card keys were needed to enter the hotel from the outside. I often just gave up and pounded on the door to get the attention of the passerby. We also heard staff asking others checking in if they were a veteran, for an additional cost discount. My husband is Navy. I am guessing that because we were with a group we were not offered this discount for our 3 additional days. We spent two more weeks traveling in New Mexico, and stayed at two additional Best Western facilities. We were treated much nicer at these locations.

Michael and his staff could not have been more hospitable during our recent unexpected stay due to the Southwest Airlines catastrophe. Perfect amenities, perfect location and perfect customer service. Thank you Michael and crew!

A nice clean quite hotel. Lots of parking. Rooms were clean and quite. Staff was really helpful. The check in clerk was very friendly and efficient. Has a restaurant and lounge on site, perfect to wind down after a long days drive.

The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, a little old. This hotel serves the best breakfast I have experienced during Covid. Others opt for disgusting pastries wrapped in plastic, but here you get a hot cooked breakfast to order. However, this hotel fails on WiFi access. I never had an online session that did not drop out. Sometimes briefly, sometimes I gave up waiting. Best Western admin need to address this issue. (Dropped twice while writing this review) Fabulously located close to Old Town.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Attentive staff. Excellent restaurant! The breakfast was very good! The location is near Old Town and within walking distance of Sawmill Market. Starbucks is right across the street. Highly recommend this place!

At first, I thought this would be a good place to unwind as I had to take a day off from my travels to rest from a virus. While the bed was comfortable and I had a decent stay overall, there were several things that made me want to write a review for this place. The bathroom is small and I hit my head on the towel rack multiple times. For context, I'm 6'1 . The TV flickered out a lot of times. Furthermore, the elevators are incredible small and made me nervous, they're in dire need of upgrades at this place. But most egregious of all was the room service. Not only was the food underwhelming and overpriced, but they told me TO PICK IT UP IN THE LOBBY. What hotel have you ever been to that asks you to do that? Additionally, I asked for cranberry juice and rather than give me the can it came in or put it in a bottle, the waiter put the juice in two travel cups, which is an obnoxious thing to do, considering you have to carry the bag in one hand and now I have to carry two juice cups? Btw, some of it spilled all over my hands while I returned to my room. I paid nearly $200 for a room and something as basic as having your food delivered to your room, pandemic or no pandemic, is unacceptable. U less there's nothing else available while you're in ABQ, look elsewhere.

When I was booking hotels in the Albuquerque area I was a little nervous staying at a Best Western growing up with them being a relevant motel chain. Our experience at this Albuquerque location was incredible. Everyone hotel team member were supportive, helpful, courteous and amenable to anything we needed. It was so great to have everything we'd want for right there in one building (spa, pool, gym, business center, bar, restaurant). Coming off a not so great hotel experience on our travels we were very happy we made the choice to stay at this Best Western! Highly recommend.

The air conditioner sounds like a freight train. Couldn't hear tv for it. Room too hot with it off. Front desk called to check if everything ok, told her lights over bed didn't work. She said she would send maintenance right up( never saw him). Luggage cart barely fits in elevators. Best thing about it is location. Wouldn't stay again.

Nothing special. Felt more like an old motel. They did some remodeling but it still felt old. Bed is wasn't that great and was made with a sheet barely covering an old blanket. No robes and the towels had seen better days. We were in town for the Balloon Festival. I would suggest searching out some the the nicer places to stay. Plan early.

Outstanding service from Jake at the front desk. He and his female coworker had a long line at the check in desk. Both were fast, efficient, professional and extremely helpful and friendly. Great complimentary hot breakfast with many choices and friendly excellent service. Thank you for the wonderful staff at your hotel.

Spent 2 nights at Best Western Rio Grande Hotel. Nice hotel just of Route 40. Close to shopping and restaurants. Hotel was clean and bed was comfy! Used the laundry facilities which was very convenient as we were road tripping. I am a BW member and really enjoy their hotel.

Stayed while on vacation. Very clean and extremely friendly. Would totally stay here again . The staff were very helpful and with courtesy. Breakfast vouchers were a plus and breakfast was delicious. Easy access to Historical District for shopping .

Very enjoyable and convenient place to stay in Albuquerque, less than a mile from Old Town. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We used the van shuttle to and from the airport, and to travel to various museums and attractions (botanical garden). The van drivers who also work the hotel front desk were always helpful, with suggestions on places to see, hours, etc.

I was making my first solo(with my dog) cross country trip and this is the best BW I stayed at They serve a cook to order breakfast the was great and the had really good coffee, They also had a real bar so you could get a cocktail (in my case a Margarita) and take it back to your room. Those kinds of things are important if you are a woman traveling alone.

This jewel of the West is a safe and comfortable place to stay. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. One of our favorites! Lovely pool, fitness room, great food and drink right in the hotel.

Nice bar, great food really great New Mexican food. (AND WE are from New Mexico) and the service was exemplary. the bathroom is enough to stand in. But it served its purpose. The room was clean and we ordered room service - fast and again, great food. Full Bar service is not quite full but somewhat. Beer menu was out of the beer my husband wanted to would have liked the waiter to say this before we ordered.

restaurant was not very good. First day they said the kitchen fan broke so no breakfast. We bought dinner and it was awful. 2nd day breakfast was sub par. We are used to getting juice and coffee but here you have a choice.... could have been better

After 2+ months on a a cross-country road trip, the BW Plus Rio Grande was #1; actual working in-house lounge/bar + sit-down restaurant was amazing treat; beautiful SW decor; lots of things to do in close-by Old Town Albuquerque area.

This hotel has a lovely patio/pool area. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and gracious. The hallways are a bit dated, but the friendly atmosphere makes that unimportant. One of the best aspects of this hotel is the on-site restaurant. The handmade tamales are spectacular.

We stayed here in July based upon the prior reviews. Our opening experience with it was not positive, as it is located on the I40 freeway, which was bumper to bumper on a Saturday afternoon because of an accident. We had to take several side streets to get there, all backed up. Not in the greatest neighborhood, in my first impression. The gal at the desk was nice, if a little loopy. We reserved a dog suite, which I assumed was priced higher because it included the dog. Oops, wrong. An extra $30 for that. The dog aspect of the room consisted of an elevated bed for the pooch. That's it. Our dog declined. There were luggage carts but the elevators are so small, we couldn't both fit with the luggage cart. The room was OK, with the usual scrapes on the wall and dubious furniture. The bed was not comfortable. There was no shampoo. The ice machine on the 2nd floor was inoperative, and there was a BROKEN sign on the cold drinks machine. The shower was nice, the towels thin. The TV did not work, so the tech guy can to re-set it. Still nothing but did work after the second trip to our room to re-set. There was some huge bus group there so there were bags all over the hallway after 10:00, just like a cruise or something. The restaurant is nice, offering a free meal if you're a BW member. You get a menu that says "Green Voucher Menu" and there were maybe 10-12 choices. Pretty good food. Some jerk was hassling the waitresses about slow service ("we're dying here.") but our gal seemed pretty competent. When we checked out the rate was $20 more than our stated confirmation rate, so the clerk had to adjust. An OK stay, but not worth $192. These motels are making hay now that people are traveling again but I'm sure I'm not the only one who will remember which places over-charged.

We were a little nervous as the hotel seemed to be in a not so nice part of town and there was a tall fence surrounding the parking lot. The room was large, clean and had comfortable beds. The outdoor pool was a nice size as was the hot tub. Breakfast was a voucher in their restaurant. There were several choices and you were served by a waitress. It was a nice change from the usual hotel breakfasts. We would definitely stay her again.

We were passing through on our way to San Diego. Spent the day in the city and had a great night of sleep at the hotel. It was in good condition, the staff was friendly and the check in and out process was easy. Breakfast was also pretty tasty.

One of my favorite Best Westerns! Great location right off highway and close to Old Town. Room was clean and comfortable. Didn't feel outdated, like other reviews have mentioned. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even microwaving my leftovers that I'd brought back from lunch! We were given vouchers to use at the on-site restaurant for breakfast, which was really convenient (and the food was very good). We had originally planned to stay only one night but extended our stay for two more nights since it turned out to be such a great home base for our activities in the area, and I was sorry to leave. You can't go wrong staying here!

I made two reservations for this location since our travel was going to/from Las Vegas, one reservation was NO problem, now my second reservation my family was turned away after a night of driving through storms in the dark and tired of driving, my family is not from this area, I am rewards member and stay at multiple BW in different cities, but this one is by far the worst!!! Front desk clerk claimed the manager had strict restrictions on accepting debit cards

Pros: The room is clean, very clean. Super important. The food at the onsite restaurant is good and service good there too. The location is great if you want to walk to Old Town and eat/shop. It's right off the freeway and I didn't hear freeway noise. Cons: It's kind of scary looking, old and dated, needs updating inside and out. The AC is loud (I usually like the sound), I booked a King Pool View which was extra, see pic below (not what I was expecting) but apparently if you are facing "In" it's called pool view, the vending machines are either out of order, half empty or out of what you want but it doesn't say it's out of what you want. Elevators and hallways hot. Pillows too fluffy, bed too hard but did I mention the room was very clean! I should mention I'm on business and a small woman so the part about scary is just from experience traveling around the country and what I usually experience. I want to leave but I had to cancel my trip the day before arrival :-(

We had a good stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and we were given vouchers for breakfast at the adjoining restaurant. The outdoor pool was open which we enjoyed after walking around Old Town in 102° temps. Great location for Old Town and nearby places to eat. Easy freeway access for on bound journey.

Wonderful customer service and Friendly staff from check in to bar and restaurant service. Very clean room with comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. Very welcoming to our dog with treats and a dog bed in the room with plenty of space outdoors for pet relief. Great Stay! Definitely recommend this Best Western Plus.

If you are interested in seeing and staying near Old Town but do not want to splurge on the other hotels in the area, this is a great pick for a short stay. It is not very glamorous, but is very close to Sawmill Market, a couple blocks from Old Town, and a short turn from the highway going downtown and to Santa Fe. We also went to Hotel Albuquerque to enjoy some amazing views and had a very active trip, so the hotel was fine for our short and busy stay. If you are looking to relax in your hotel and lounge by a pool, I'd consider spending more for another hotel. Otherwise, this Best Western is a great budget stay, and you get a nice breakfast included.

Easy access from the interstate 40. Central location to everything in Albuquerque, NM. Staff is very accommodating, friendly and eager to help you settle in your room. Rooms are very clean and neat and access was easy from parking area. Did not utilize the pool or other amenities as time was limited (one night). Overall we were pleased with the hotel and staff. Restaurant attached to the hotel was very good and reasonably priced.

Hotel with a bit of charm, accessible parking, swift, friendly check in and super restaurant (Wild Avocado) and bar staff and food/drinks. Attractive pool area. I have stayed at other hotels in Albuquerque...I think this will remain my go to!

Had to cross a street and another business to find find real grass. All they have is a 4X8 artificial turf and a gravel dog run. Pet friendly is a fraud. Food is restaurant not the greatest, but all staff very nice.

I have stayed at the Rio Grande 4 times and love it! Great service, food and comfortable rooms. I want to thank Rio Grand for their continued fantastic service. Vyti always feel welcome. The location is close to everything and riight at the junction of 40 and I 25.

The Best Western Rio Grande Inn made our stay memorable and encouraged a culture of good times. The employees were all professional and most knowledgeable and helpful. Our rooms were clean we loved the views and ease of parking.

The hotel is comfortable and it's good that they have a restaurant/bar built in. That's especially valuable if you arrive late and are looking for something to eat and are looking for breakfast as well. There's a starbucks walking distance from the hotel, which is also convenient. The only drawback I found in my room was the broken/missing swingbar door lock. Albaquerque doesn't have a great reputation for safety, and in general I use the deadbolt and other door security features when I stay in a hotel. It was disturbing to see part of the lock missing or broken suggesting a forced entry. It seems like an obvious thing to fix.

I've stayed here going west and returning east and I really didn't want to stay here again. On the plus side, it is very close to highway 40, the staff is very nice and they allow pets. On the negative side, there is not real grass for pets, just a small circle of Astro turf, the windows and walls are so thin you can hear people talking as if they are in your room. The breakfast is the best of any of the cheap motels. You get to order off a special menu and the food is cooked just for you. No awful buffet line of pre-fab food. Stay here if you must, but if you can find a better pet-friendly option, take it.

This was the first time we stayed here (April, 2021) on our way to Arizona. The front desk people (wore mask-thank you) were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. Our breakfast was very good, and our server was attentive and friendly. We stayed here again on our return home.

We always stop at this location from Phoenix to Indiana when we visit our grandkids. It is perfect location off the freeway and close the the Old Town center. Great restaurants in the area. There is a restaurant within 1.5 miles called Little Anitas that was very good as well as restaurants in the Historic section.

Room was generic but the property was nice. Appreciate our breakfast and there were sufficient, and good, choices to pick from. It was within walking distance of Old Town where we ate dinner but Old Town is just a bust unless you want to shop. Pool looked nice and staff was good. Overall, a reasonable value and experience.

Out of four hotels I stayed at on this trip, this was by far the best hotel, at the best price. I stayed at the Holiday Inn express, the quality inn, and another I can't recall. This was the best value for the money.

The staff was pleasant and very accommodating. The decor is southwestern and beautiful. The king size bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the voucher breakfast every morning. Great place! Will stay again.

We arrived to realize that despite being pitched as being in old town, it is a very tired and stale motel next to the noisy interstate. Our room 232, has thick layers of dust on the tops of the doors and the carpet is so old and dirty that the room smelled musty and dusty. I am currently sitting on a chair next to the curtain and yep! The curtain also smells musty and the window sill is dusty . We are grossed out sitting in this room

Secure parking lot. Super friend,y front desk staff. To-order free breakfast for rewards members in adjoining restaurant was excellent and appreciated terrific service by Jasmine. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Our room did face a busy road, which was much louder than I would have hoped for. Ran fan continuously to drown out road noise. Disappointed that the pool and hot tub was shut down literally hours before we arrived due to Covid, however that was out of control of the hotel and caused by stringent government rules.

I do not know how anyone could give this hotel a good review. It's run down, hallways are hot and smelly. Room is awful. The ac unit was so loud that when it turned off my ears were still ringing. We ate there and another guest had a big cockroach crawl on her. She almost had a heart attack. The waiter had the nerve to then hand her a bill for her food. I said are you kidding me! The whole place was creepy and disgusting. And the water didn't go down in the tub. Had to take a shower in ankle deep water. Awful! Will never stay there again

The hotel was very friendly and clean. Nice parking and a great to order breakfast! The hotel is close to everything and very quiet. The staff wad very friendly and helpful with all the questions I asked about the area.

Traveling cross country and having a less than optimal stay at our last hotel (not Best Western), we found our stay at this hotel a relief! The room was well-appointed to accommodate the three of us. Love the floors in the pet-friendly rooms. Such a great idea! They even had a little bed for my dog. We ate from the restaurant. They are separate (no room charges) but found our meals satisfying. The provided complimentary bottled water. The only issue we had was our pup didn't understand about going to bathroom on stones or astro turf. We had to walk to the next block to find grass. This is a function of the area, not BW. Regardless, we would stay again if in the area.

Traveling across country - needed a pet friend hotel. Rolled in here and was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Very clean and well decorated room, super comfy bed and pillows, excellent restaurant to sit and have a meal after a very long drive. The tortilla soup was fantastic btw. You won't be disappointed.

Zack at check in was very helpful and welcoming. I love how the property is fenced in and you need a card to get into the building. The wifi is one of the strongest in the hotels we stayed at. Best of all is the attached restaurant where we got our custom ordered breakfast. The room and amenities are good to go for the traveler.

Great location, A+ staff and property, and pet rooms! Cocktails just down the hall, a helpful staff to direct you around town, and lots to do around the hotel as well, so close to Old Town and the Botanical Gardens. Enjoy!

The property layout reminds me of a roadside motel, where you check in at the lobby then drive around to where the actual rooms are. The building is older, but our room was immaculate & included a micro & fridge, a good-sized table w/2 arm chairs & an easy chair. We had a 2-queen room & were able to fit my indoor bike between them w/room to spare. Breakfast was provided in their onsite restaurant via a $7 voucher per person to choose from among multiple options & each one included the item plus milk or juice & coffee or tea, which could be eaten there or packaged in to-go containers. Four rather than 5 stars due to no stair exit. Walked down 3 stories only to find that the exit was for emergency exit only.

This hotel was amazing!!! I have a small dog and even the rooms they offer with pets are comfortable and very clean. The room was well priced the property is kept amazingly clean. It was my best experience and I can say I'm a very picky person. The lobby is so welcoming I signed up for the membership and will be using all your location!!! The COVID practices are a 10 everything is clean and they surpassed the rules to make everything COVID sanitary.

Stayed one night and although we got the room we requested it smelled pretty bad. We used room deodorizer and perfume to help mask the smell, the room was pretty noisy both from the gymnasts upstairs and the road noise. But it was clean and the beds comfortable and conveniently located off the interstate. We didn't eat there, due to Covid not a lot of space and the bar is closed Monday-Wednesday.

We had a nice stay at this property but BW needs to designate separate floors to those who are traveling with their pets. I could smell urine in the hallway near our room and being somewhat allergic to pet dander had a mild allergic reaction. It was nice to be within walking distance of Old Town Albuquerque and the major highways.

We stay at this hotel several times per year while driving from Tennessee to Arizona. The restaurant, layout, and staff are great. We travel with a pet and the hotel is definitely pet friendly. The food quality is good. The only downside is that the room interiors could use some updating, but it is still very worthwhile and always on our list of overnight stops. Very convenient on/off from I-40.

Beautiful hotel, warm and unique decor, secure gated parking. The staff was helpful and sweet. The rooms were immaculate. The prices can't be beat. THE RESTAURANT IS WONDERFUL. There's a full separate bar/lounge. Don't miss this place. I will come here every time I pass through!

Great Hotel! Wonderful service from the staff at the front desk AND the staff in the restaurant. The Hotel was very clean and the cleaning and maintenance crew were on top of keeping it spotless! Everyone is so friendly and considerate of the guests needs. The room size is great for a family of four! the decor is warm and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. The Wild Avocado Cork and Tap restaurant is fabulous. Great service and great food! We will definitely be back to this hotel! Thanks for making our vacation so enjoyable!

The staff at the front desk was very friendly. Our room was very clean and smelled wonderful.The food and drinks at the resturant were great. They had a good breakfast too. We will be staying here again next time we travel through.

We were driving across country and we choose to stay here but arrived at 1 am and we were exhausted. Jess was at the front desk and her bright smile and pleasant attitude was like balm to the spirit. The beds were heavenly and the pillows very comfortable. The best surprise was the free breakfast which was at a restaurant in the hotel and they took your order. It was delicious. Great job to all the friendly staff.

The only problem that interrupted sleep was being on the north side of the hotel where we were close to the freeway. And early in the morning while having our do not disturb sign the cleaning crew were very loud.

Friendly and easy check in. Appreciated being able to bring my dog and having a place to potty her. There wasn't really any place close to actually walk her, but we just drove to the riverwalk along the Rio Grande to exercise her which was only a 5 minute drive away. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet - perfect for us. Additionally, we appreciated having a view of the patio, instead of the parking lot. The restaurant was a gem! The free breakfast was really great - lots of choices and great coffee. Not sure if we got the breakfast free due to being BW Rewards members, but would have been happy to pay, it was that good. They make their own adovada, chorizo, and sauces. Our waitress, Becca, was efficient, helpful, and friendly. The pool was open (not the hot tub) and was nice to swim in, but with the dome cover over it the feeling was not what I was looking for - too dark. All the folks that we encountered that work there were helpful and friendly.

Due to C-19 my overnight travel has been zero for many months, I am particularly pleased with my choice for my 'first night out'. The Best Western Plus, Rio Grande Inn was recommended to me my by a younger sibling. The advice was spot-on. Spacious room, pool was open, very nice restaurant/lounge area and top shelf breakfast. Parking lot was clean and each space was wider than average.

Bed is comfortable. Great to have a restaurant at the hotel. People that work there are very nice and helpful. despite being close to the freeway the room was quiet. Very clean room. Felt safe while staying

We called before making a refund were told the pool and hot tub were open. Upon checking in, they tell us it is closed. They were EXTREMELY rude about us not wearing masks, although several of their staff had them on ONLY covering their chin. Saw others guests without masks and they said NOTHING to them. The pillows were awful, beds uncomfortable. But hey, breakfast was good!

I have stayed at dozens of Best Westerns and this hotel was the absolute worst in every way. First and foremost, the showers were very slippery and my eight year old son fell and hit his head on the toilet and required five stitches. The staff gave me bandaids but did not check in and did not seem to care. They pretend they have a "restaurant" on site, but really it's a way to try to avoid giving away the usual buffet-style breakfasts they promise for free on their website. Same middling-quality food, but you're restricted as to how much you can have and you can only have two vouchers per room regardless of whether you have your family with you. Of course, you can pay extra ($7+ per meal). Michael, at the front desk, was very rude. about the breakfast vouchers, plus I mentioned that he wasn't asking guests to wear masks on their mouth and nose and he first denied that the guests were not. When he realized he couldn't gaslight me, he instead said they probably couldn't. Well, then they don't need to travel if they can't wear masks. Almost none of the guests wore masks in the halls. The rooms in my hall all said they were non-smoking, but there was a super strong pot odor that gave me a headache. The dog across the hall barked constantly. The light in the room with the chargers didn't work, which is difficult with kids and iPads and phones and such to charge. There was no microwave. There were used coffee pods in the coffee basket so they don't seem to clean well. Printer in business center broken. There was absolutely nothing good about this place. Stay away!!

The Best Western Plus Rio Grande will from now on be the hotel we stay at in Albuquerque. The staff from desk clerks to restaurant chef and servers were exceptional in their professionalism and kindness. The housekeeping staff is obviously wonderful as well, since our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We loved the decor throughout the hotel, casual but very attractive in great taste. It appeared that good precautions were taken to protect guests from COVID also.

Wonderful place to stay as a 60+ female traveling with a pet alone cross country. Safe and comfortable. Wouldn't stay any other place. Thank you Best Western for forward thinking and being always above the rest and at a price point even a single grandma can appreciate.

The facilities were clean and the staff was extremely courteous. I plan to use it again. The building is not new but clean, well maintained, and comfortable. They had dining with good COVID-19 protocols in place.

The B W + Rio Grande Inn meet and exceded our expectations. The property is easily accesseable from I- 40. Location is good walkiing distance to Old Town. Dining on property is also a plus. Breakfast vouchers are a nice change over grab and go bags. Would stayy again.

Only there for a night but the room was cleaned and the bed smelled freshly cleaned! Friendly staff. Also free breakfast if you're a best western rewards member! The food was great! Water in shower was nice and hot too!

I was overnight in Albuquerque one night traveling solo. I wanted a property close to the historic Old Town area of Albuquerque. As I'm a loyalty member of BW Hotels this property was perfect. The guest room was well decorated in southwest decor, offered one cup Keurig coffee and tea in the rooms, plush towels, and all other room amenities including a safe. The Direct TV options were abundant as well. They are back to being able to serve seated breakfast and dinner. They give you a breakfast voucher for free hot breakfast per registered guest or this voucher can be used to take $7.00 off dinner in the restaurant. Their bar is still closed as of 2/26/21, but beer and wine are available for purchase. I walked to Old Town and had a nice sit down lunch at the Church Street Cafe. I had the Old Fashioned Chili Rellenos. I highly recommend this establishment and meal! They were excellent. The hotel sits next door to a service station on historic Route 66 which I actually found quite charming in its location and appeal. The hotel pool is open and the fitness room by appointment, but the spa/hot tub is still not allowed to be opened. I will definitely stay here again as I found the property clean, safe, well appointed, great service and excellent location for this more touristy area. I can't say enough. Thank you.

We were traveling with our dog, so we selected this one for being “pet friendly”. The guy at reception was very friendly and gave us one of their dog rooms and some treats for the dog. The room was very clean with no odors. The floors are vinyl which makes sense. They even provide a dog bed! Beds were comfortable and place was quiet. The restaurant was closed due to covid, but you could order breakfast for pick up.

Tucked in right next to I40, this hotel has the feel of a BnB. Personal and friendly service from the entire staff. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities. Pool and internet available

From call in to check in the customer service was awesome. Very clean and inviting property. We stay there consistently now when we are in the area. The pet friendly is awesome with a good clean place to take the dogs out.

We got a late start in making a trip from Colorado to Phoenix and needed an overnight stay. Since we had had good luck with the Rio Grande Inn on a spring break outing,we made reservations. We were traveling during the Christmas break time frame and the folks at the inn were very friendly, but taking every precaution for our safety. Because of COVID, we could not sit in the breakfast area, but could order a delicious breakfast to eat in our room. The restaurant staff provided ALL the needed materials without our even asking! And the meal was great. The room was clean and a cozy place to rest for the night. And the price was quite reasonable! Will definitely head back here again!

The hotel rooms and common areas were very clean. We traveled with our dogs and the front desk staff provided them treats and there was a dog bed in the room. I also appreciated that the dog friendly rooms had no carpet. The parking lot area was well lit and felt safe. I would stay here again.

We had to make a road trip from Los Angeles to Tennessee and back. On the way out we stayed at a very expensive chic hotel in Albuquerque and on the way back we chose the Best Western Rio Grande. I'm here right now and I'm kicking myself for not staying here before. We got off to a great start with Michael at the front desk - he was kind and efficient and really made us feel welcome. Our room is clean and cozy and quiet. They have a restaurant on-site with lots of fresh, healthy choices to pick up and take to your room so we didn't have to go driving around Albuquerque at night looking for dinner which was a real plus. I didn't catch the name of the gentleman working at the restaurant but he was fabulous. One thing I'd like to mention is that while they do give you a QR code to scan for the menu, they also give you a print version. Thank you! In three weeks of traveling, this was the only hotel to have the foresight to do this. Not everybody wants to faff around with QR codes after a long day on the road and I'd expect it's confusing for some people as well. They also gave us vouchers for breakfast tomorrow morning which looks good. And there are Keurig machines with Starbucks cups in the rooms. I am very pleased. I think this hotel is incredible value.

This is one of our favorite Best Westerns to stay at. The rooms are nice and the restaurant that is inside of the hotel is great. We will usually get the dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. All of our food has been amazing. The only negative I would say is that the area surrounding the hotel is not the best, but with that said I would definitely stay here again.

We were hesitant about staying in Albuquerque because of the reputation of high crime, also we had stayed in another Best Western in a city not far from here and weren't very pleased with the cleanliness. We were so impressed with this Best Western Plus, it was convenient right off the freeway, clean, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was super! The breakfast was provided by Wild Avocado sooo good! Not just a pastry or granola bar they have quite the selection, we ordered off the menu from our room then they called when it was ready and we picked it up and hit the road. We have our dog that travels with us so it is important to us that we choose a place that has a place for us to take the dog out. They have two dog areas one is a small fenced area where you can take them off lease and the other has a small patch of astro-turf. This will definitely be our go to stop when we are passing through.

This was our first time visiting Albuquerque, NM from California. We were on our way to Kansas for the holidays and while on the road we decided to stay over night at a hotel. I called one of their other locations and they informed me they didn't have pet friendly room available. Advised us to call their other location a mile away. Mind you this was at 3 A.M. Arrived at Rio Grande location and the front desk lady was very helpful and provided me a room for a stay for my husband, son and dog. We liked that they had a area for pets to use and provided poop bags. I The bed were very comfy. My only concern was that it was a bit loud but that wasn't the fault of the hotel but of rude guest.

This was our first time visiting Albuquerque, New Mexico from Atlanta Georgia. We have a freshmen at University of New Mexico and she was moving in the Saw-loft area. This hotel was the perfect location and price for my family. We have a minimum of three more years here and this will be our stop.

We were enroute from to Wisconsin to Arizona. This hotel was within the price range we wanted to spend. This was during COVID, the hotel was clean, check-in/out were quick and the hot breakfast was a nice surprise and good. Quick on and off of Hwy 40 too. We will be back.

The Hotel is right off the highway and highly visible at night. The front desk staff member Zack got us checked in quickly and gave great information about breakfast and dinner in the COVID confines. Our room was well equipped and the area to walk our dog was very convenient. We ordered chips and guac to go the evening we arrived and then had a delicious hot breakfast to go the next morning. The hotel is very convenient to ABQ old town; so we will definitely stay here on subsequent trips from our home in DEN to other points in the SW.

We spent one night in this Best Western Inn. Awesome stay from the beginning. Great customer service. Clean room with nice bedding and fluffy towels. Restaurant on-site with quick service. Vouchers for breakfast. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

A nice big facility, one block from Interstate 40 & close to Interstate 25. Near historic US Route 66 / Central Avenue, and the Rio Grande River in downtown Albuquerque, N.M. The Dog House Drive In, a former filmset for "Breaking Bad" series is one mile away. Starbucks with drive-thru is across the street. Parking lot is generous, elevators to the upper floors. Quiet area, quiet facility. Staff has always been pleasant and helpful here. "Wild Avocado" in-house breakfast café offers one complimentary item daily to each paid quest ( coupon provided by front desk ). No dining inside, takeout orders only, in a nice carry-out package. Rooms are in retro-southwestern decor. Everything worked great. Newer style bathrooms are nice. Quiet area, but a professional security guard watches the main parking lot over night.

We have traveled through New Mexico quite a few times in the last three years and each time we book at the Best Western Rio Grande Inn. I have not been disappointed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and the great location. I highly recommend this hotel whenever you require accommodations in the Albuquerque area

I love this Albuquerque Best Western Hotel near Old Town. This was our second stay here and we felt safe and secure here. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. We received fantastic customer service and that rates very high with me. The breakfast was yummy, too. Zack who operated the front desk was an angel. Thank you all very much!

As long as there's a Best Western, I don't have to concern myself with a place with quality, professionalism and top notch service. I am surprised that it doesn't cost more. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone!

Since last summer I've driven coast-to-coast, around New England, Florida, California the Southeast, and the Southwest. Many with a pet. This BW+ provided the best arrival information in the form of documents, a special bag of treats for our dog, and even thought the restaurant was closed for inside dining menus were part of the arrival package to order to dine in one's room. The breakfast (included) was a full meal NOT a "grab and go" like every other of the 20 hotels we've stayed in over the past six months....this hotel is great and the staff are wonderful!

We traveled during the covid-19 pandemic and were not sure what to expect during our hotel stay. We were happy to discover that we could order take out from the restaurant for both supper and breakfast. The food was good, also our room was comfortable and pleasant. The Staff were professional and also very nice and friendly as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Right off the interstate and easy as pie to get to! Zack at the front desk was awesome. Breakfast was the grab and go, COVID era variety, but not the banana/muffin/granola bar variety. They actually had good choices of real breakfast food!!

Spent the night here with our 2 dogs, pet friendly with a designated area. Room was equipped with a fridge but no freezer inside it . Room was clean and the wood floor was a great plus even when the dogs are good without incident. Bathroom was clean & shower was nice & hot. Elevators are too small, trying to navigate a luggage cart with 2 suitcases on it was a manhandling necessity. Overall decent stay & staff were pleasant.

In these crazy covid times, this motel did everything they could to make us feel safe by not booking the same room for 48 hours, dining open for takeout and all the staff was very cordial and helpful.

Laundry facilities on site coin operated bring coins front desk has no bank. Food good, they give vouchers that can use for dinner or breakfast.

Well located near highway, which is good unless your room is on the highway side in which case it is very loud. It's a pretty healthy walk to old town proper. Staff, and some patrons inconsistent in masking from what I saw. Sanitizer in abundance though. Room was clean. Ok for the night

Close to old town, easy freeway access, clean, comfortable and best breakfast we have had during covid. They have a restaurant on site and just have you go to the restaurant for breakfast and order off the menu. Even gave us coffee to go.

The Best western Plus was a great stay for the price. Very Clean, great room ,very quite. The morning breakfast was a treat. We were given vouchers that made it more affordable to order just what we wanted from the restaurant menu. The food was great and the server was very friendly and quick.

Wanted a quiet, romantic weekend in Old Town. Tried a few places, but they TACKED ON RESORT FEES! I don't know about you, but to me this is a bait and switch tactic. If there is free WiFi, don't add $20 to the 'low price' after I click on the site! Give me the total price. And that is why we stayed here! No sneaky additional charges. Got exactly what we expected, clean ,comfortable rooms. A surprisingly good restaurant on site and a free breakfast (or $7 towards your meal). Excellent, efficient staff: check in, housekeeping, and restaurant employees were all stellar. And close to all the amenities of Old Town! Do yourself a favor and avoid all the 'fancy' choices. Your best choice is Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn!!

Came down to spend some time with my son who is in the Air Force. I am beyond impressed. First the daily rate is very reasonable. The rooms are so clean and well decorated. Bathrooms are very nice. 7$ vouchers per person, per day for food! I am unbelievably happy that we are staying here for four days. I would stay here again and again. Oh and the staff are helpful and pleasant! They truly care!! Wish the pool was open but Covid shut it down.

I travel to Albuquerque for business. I have tried a number of the hotels there. This one is definitely one of the better ones to stay at that is within per diem. I did rate the sleep quality low due to other guests in the hotel that could not keep their noise level down. Unfortunately, hotels can control other impolite guests.

The facility is within walking distance to Old Town, many restaurants and gas stations nearby. The Petroglyph monument is within 10 -15 minutes drive. Both the staff from the front desk and kitchen are very friendly and respectful. Zack at the front desk offers us room upgrade and he and another front desk staff give us a couple recommendations of attractions to visit. The breakfast staff is so sweet and respectful as well. Overall, it is a pleasant experience staying here.

The Rio Grande Inn offers nice amenities with wonderful pillows. My stay was very quiet and relaxing. It is in a wonderful location near old town Albuquerque. The staff was very friendly and kind and helpful.

We spent several days at the Best Western Plus Rio Grande in late July, 2020. We found comfortable and clean, with services truncated as required in response to the COVID 19 contagion. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but, unfortunately, some of the usual amenities were unavailable. These included the pool, the restaurant and the bar, any of which would have made our stay more enjoyable. Breakfast was provided as a compliment, but we were required to order it from our room, then pick it up, masked and distant, to carry out. I expect we will book our room at the Best Western Rio Grande again, once travel to New Mexico becomes viable again.

We have found this hotel to be both well maintained and in a good location for visiting Albuquerque. What was special this time, during coronavirus restaurant closures, was the on-property restaurant offering a full takeout menu for dinner (including beer and wine) and breakfast. Process: Call extension and order, then get a return call when food ready. Pick up at restaurant station next to lobby (everything is coronavirus protected, including plexiglass barriers and masked employees who were both friendly and helpful).

With the traveling with pet this is new stay for us with Best Western Brand. They accept pet with minimal fee. We start our trip and keep driving then booked hotel while we arrived. ( on the app of course) Good with the price and quality but Customer Service make it difference. As you know if hotel nice but CSR is bad will ruin everything. Zach is very kind and helpful. The pool was closed due to Covid and that was the whole reason we chose this place. After checking in and finding this out, we found out there was a discount. When I called the desk clerk about it, she said we should have said something during check in. Hmmmm.... we didn't know the pool was closed or anything else. Sooo.. I guess I should be psychic. Then we asked about a to-go breakfast and we were told it was only for members??!!! Which I have been for longer than 14 years but she said it to my husband and he was flabbergasted on what to say. I would not recommend anyone to stay here or this area. It's close to Old town but driving 15 minutes to stay in a safe area is more than worth it!!

Room was dated, beds soft, bitten by an insect the first night. Housekeeping slow to respond. No discount offered for pool and jacuzzi closure ( guests should be notified of the closure at time of booking) shuttle ban not offering airport rides do to covid? If Uber and Sandia Tram van provide rides then why not Best Western? Gym open by appointment only for disinfecting in between each individual. The hotel seems more like an overnight pit stop then vacationers. Fortunately we were able to check out one day early without penalties...Thank you.

We stayed one night on a West Coast Vacation. Great hotel, friendly staff, and clean room. We walked to Old Town and loved it there! Even though many of the shops weren't open due to COVID, Old Town is a must see! The Best Western Plus is a much cheaper and better alternative to some of the more expensive hotels in the area. Would definitely recommend again!

Everything was top notch from check in, dinner, and the room was super cute. The only down side was the pool being closed due to COVID. Breakfast was great as well. I really liked the fact it had an actual restaurant. Keep up the great work!!!

We were very impressed with this hotel. The location couldn't be more ideal, 3 blocks from Old Town, right off the highway, and next door to a winery and a very nice bar and grill. And unlike most newer hotels, the decor is BEAUTIFUL! Staff was so very nice, and service was excellent. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They have a wonderful restaurant downstairs, but we weren't able to try their lounge since it was still shut down due to Coronavirus, as were their other facilities. But we will return! And hopefully it'll be fully open. Thanks for such a pleasant experience!!!

This Best Western is right off the freeway I-40. Easy access for U-Haul trucks, autos pulling trailers etc. Large parking lot in the rear. Very clean rooms and great staff. The on site dining was great. We had Mexican Food and it was 5 star. Breakfast was also very good, we got a breakfast burrito to go. We were driving from Phoenix to Denver with a moving truck. Karl

Staying for just one night while passing through the state. The pros are that the room was very clean. It was really nearly spotless, which is rare. There is also a Starbucks directly across the street, which is nice. Given the age of the hotel, the room is in pretty good shape. Beds were ok. Not the worst I have ever slept in, but definitely not the most comfortable. The pillows were nice and the linens were very clean. The furniture was in good shape and was really well made for an inexpensive hotel. The bathroom was spotless and had nice toiletries—not your standard, cheap shampoo and conditioner. They even put a non-slip mat in the bathroom for use in the tub, which was unique and a nice touch. Cons: As soon as we stepped off the elevator we were hit with the overwhelming smell of marijuana. It was so strong and persisted the entire night. I left the room several times and each time it got stronger. My first impression upon smelling it was that I had booked the wrong hotel. Especially considering how incredibly dark and dated the halls were. It was an unsettling feeling. I don't care what people do in the privacy of their own homes, but out of courtesy to other paying guests, this was a big, big turnoff. The lobby also smelled a little like bug spray. The rooms are pretty small and also dark and dated. The pictures made the place look a lot nicer and more updated than it actually is, though, so that was a bit of a disappointment. The air conditioning unit was very loud, and so too was the road noise from the interstate. One more little annoyance was that every time our room refrigerator cycled on, the TV would turn off and back on very briefly. Not a huge deal, but after a while it became somewhat irritating. The bathroom was also really small and dark, but again, super clean, and that is more important than the size. I maybe wouldn't stay here again because of the cons that we encountered and observed, but the cleanliness of the room was really impressive and I am hardly ever able to say that. Housekeeping staff deserves a lot of credit for their hard work. In a pinch or for a brief stay, the cleanliness of the place makes it worth a try. You could definitely find worse places to stay for the night.

I was passing through traveling home during the Covid-19 time frame. Called early evening to see about a room and they were able to help me out for the night. The gentleman at the desk was very helpful and professional. I was able to order food and pick up at the restaurant as it was late in the evening. Food was delicious. We were not there to be able to see or use the pool *Covid-19* but do know they have one. They had security at night that did a walk through the hotel. We did eat in the restaurant in the a.m. and the food was good. Easy check out as you just drop your cards off at the desk. There are numerous things to do around and near this Best Western just wishing we could have been visiting when all things were open.

The personnel and all staff I encountered were professional, courteous and helpful. Rooms were big, clean and tastefully decorated. Restaurant was out of this world delicious, had breakfast and dinner.

Pros: The staff were very good. It was easy check-in and check-out. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding. Due to the Covid-19 the staff could not enter the room while we were there so we made an appointment for when we would be gone. I appreciated they were taking precautions to protect the staff. Cons: The room ran out of bath tissue and there was not an extra in the room. They offered that we could come to the desk to pick up a roll or wait for the appointed room service time, so this is actually a con for the room but a pro for the service. The bathroom does not have a fan. That can become a bit of a problem when you have several people in the room.

I'm a best western diamond elite member and I've been to over 200 best western hotels across the country, this hotel was great stay probably one of my top 10's, the thing I didn't agree with in the morning was they charge for Grab and Go's which all the best western's I've been to never have, so I was surprised to see that they charge for that, A grab and go usually comes with a bottle of water, fruit of some sort and a power bar but maybe there was more to these one's were they needed to charge you 7 dollars for one, anyways thanks

We had to change our travel plans at the last minute. We book our room quickly and at a reasonable price. The check in and check out were seamless. They staff were so nice and accommodating. The restaurant was also good.

A disappointing Best Western hotel. property. We stayed in room 339 which faces west and there was a significant amount of road noise throughout the night. We had a terrible experience attempting to access the Internet with two iPads, an iPhone and android phone. I complained to the front desk and was told to do a shutdown and restart on each piece if equipment. This was not the fix. I did get the iphone to connect once in the lobby, but couldn't access the Internet after turning on the VPN. Also, no password is required to login to their Internet, so a person has to assume this is a very dangerous web site to access. The wall light between the two queen beds didn't work and the toilet when flushed was very noisy.

Very friendly and helpful check in and out. The access to the motel is a little hard to drive in and out of. Nice to have a restraint connected to the motel. Back in the 60's I thought that all Best Westerns had a cafe near or attached.

This is a new, clean, and trendy hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient. Hotel is close to the hospital and I-40. Great care was taken with cleanliness. Breakfast, as usual in BW Plus, is excellent!

Despite its age, the hotel is kept in excellent condition, lovely decor in common areas and in room, bathroom is clean with everything in working order, staff from manager to cleaning employees are very helpful and courteous, breakfast was good with enough selections (paid a little extra over vouchers the hotel provided). Fitness and business centers were a bit small but had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. The clock didn't work but was replaced right away, I had help the first afternoon gettin the Keurig to work for tea, but it didn't work for coffee the next morning. Overall a great experience.

The Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn is one of the best Best Western Pus we've stayed in. It is pet (dog only) friendly and has excellent dog accommodations They offer custom prepared and served breakfast as compared to typical fast food self serve offerings. Security is excellent with a well lighted parking lot and a walking security person at night.

This hotel was excellent. All of the staff were fantastic, the room was clean and pleasant, and a sit down breakfast offered until 11am was included each day (you could also put the voucher towards any meal in the restaurant)! My only complaint at all was the water temperature. It was always fluctuating. It's difficult to take a shower when it's constantly going between scalding and ice cold. Otherwise, I would give this hotel 5 stars, hands down.

Stopover for car club trip to Utah. Rooms were good. There was easy access to restaurants for meals. Nice patio 'get together' in the afternoon. Easy access to gas stations, freeway, etc. Pool was closed for maintenance, but weather was good.

Cynthiel was very helpful and a very kind person, so professional, The room was very clean, and the staff are very nice and friendly. I'd be happy to come back, with people like Cynthiel, it's good to be back.

The BW+ Rio Grande Inn is older, but clean with all of the amenities you need. It is within walking distance of Albequerque old town. Definitely a +. We received a voucher for breakfast in the Wild Avocado. We were served by a charming young lady named Jazmin. Rio Grande Inn is blessed to have her. I definitely recommend this BW+ as a convenient economical stop.

This trip was for a celebration of life. The Rio Grande Inn went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I arrived on the red eye and was pleased that I had a cookie and heart warming sentiment left for me. The room is clean, spacious and had a refrigerator and safe. I felt safe with card access to outside doors except lobby. They do have rooms that allow dogs. I saw a few dog being walked in the dog area. I never heard a dog. The king sized bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. I was able to use free WiFi and the desk internet cable for my computer. They have vouchers for your choice of 9 breakfast or you can use towards dinner. The Wild Avocado is their restaurant that had really good red chili sauce. The remembrance was held in the lounge. The appetizers and cheese cake was tasty. Drinks were reasonably priced. I was very happy with my stay and great service.

The hotel is nice. We always stay here when we pass through Albuquerque. Clean, great breakfast, great service! The added bonus of wonderful music and dancing in the bar from 6-8! Outstanding! This year we planned our trip around Thursday night!

This is a great Best Western Hotel for the price. It has a very nostalgic New Mexico feel to it. The restaurant has an excellent choice of New Mexican Cuisine. Service is very good. The bar is small and intimate with local microbrews. I will definitely stay there again.

Good value for what you get. It's clean, quiet, and comfortable. We stay here every time we come to ABQ. Everyone is nice, the breakfast is good and fast. The parking is secured. It's close to Old Town.

SO MUCH more than we expected! Clean, neat, well-appointed. Staff outstandingly friendly. Affordable. Centrally located. The complementary meals were delicious and served by a waiter who could double as a tour guide.

Very nice hotel. Convenient location. Clean and updated. The pet friendly room very spacious and close to the exit that leads to the pet area. The room I had backed up to the Interstate. It was a little noisy in the evening, but quieted down at night. The staff very friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant had great food at a reasonable cost. The breakfast was also good. You could chose a sit down or a grab bag. Also was given a voucher for a free breakfast. There were several choices to pick from. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Albuquerque.

We had an accident right outside of Albequerque and our car had to be towed. The person at the garage suggested the Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn, since we had no idea of any hotels in the area. How lucky we were! Wonderful place to be "stuck" in for 3 days. Zachary at the front desk was warm and welcoming; all the other front desk folks we dealt with were the same. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Looks like it was just recently refurbished. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Best Western is near old town Albuquerque, walking distance to some parks, old town and museums. I travel for business and it is always nice to stay somewhere in which it is possible to get outside and take a walk (instead of a windowless fitness center). There is a restaurant and lounge onsite (they make a yummy marg).

Wonderful staff greeted us and gave us a great room. Room was so nice with all the amenities we needed. A restaurant right onsite made this our favorite place for a one night stay. Happy Hour bar with snacks started off our evening. Local mexican food was good but they also had steaks plus, all the food was excellent. Breakfast next morning with our coupon well I had to have a pancake with my egg, but there was plenty on the menu besides this. All in all I would recommend this place if you are coming to Albuquerque anytime soon. Easy off and on I 40.

I was in town for only 1 night, but I'd say, overall, it was a good stay. I had a minor hiccup with a room, but it was quickly & efficiently corrected. All staff that I dealt with, were very kind, informative & on top of their game. Definitely a good team. Kudos to Michael, Kimberly, Zinnia & Dominica at the front desk, as well as John & Emma in the dining area. Thank you for all you do!

Making the reservations over the phone was excellent. So surprised that my dad and I plus my dog were given welcome bags because we were members. I was a member at another brand but never received anything like this. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Dad had trouble with tv but was fixed easily and quickly. Felt safe in parking lot- old town was down the street. Would've loved a hot tea bar - even with coffee maker in room- nice touch, but something to go to and get. Loved the dog menu to order from. A wonderful place to stay the night.

We recently had our home repainted. We were required to move out until the job was completed. We decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn. Our overall experience was that in our own city there is an Inn that provided nicely appointed, clean rooms at a reasonable price, free breakfasts served by friendly and efficient staff. We had our dinner there every evening while at the hotel (01/02/20 to 01/08/20). Their desk staff was friendly and professional.. We are going to recommend this hotel to friends and family when they come to Albuquerque.

We had stayed in Albuquerque seven years ago, but could not remember where other than it was a nice place. We made our reservations here from the car as we traveled west. Imagine our surprise when we pulled in and realized this was the same place! Very convenient for interstate travelers and not far from downtown and the Route 66 attractions. We have enjoyed both our stays here! The only downside is the traffic noise from the interstate, but that's not too bad.

Our family enjoyed our stay and the staff were pleasant, helpful and kind. We will be staying again when in town! The on-site restaurant was good our server was friendly and quick. The room was comfortable and the internet for a hotel was great. Our daughter had online school work due and had no issues with the WiFi.

Very convenient next to I40. Be prepared for an immediate turn into property if coming eastbound. Onsite restaurant opens early, has a varied menu and prices are fair. Margaritas are excellent. Rooms well enough appointed and clean. Staff is pleasant and quickly responsive to requests.

I stay at this hotel whenever I come to town and everything is always great. Absolutely no problems with this place and will recommend this hotel to anyone. Simply Awesome!, The staff is great and always accommodating.

Rooms looked clean, queen suite had no microwave, beds were very comfortable. The bar had New Mexico beers on tap, I recommend you check that out! Noise from outside was minimal. My one grievance is that there should be an equal number sets of toiletries for the number of people in the room.

Immediately off the I 40/Rio Grande Exit and felt a tad awkward parking at first, but plenty of parking in the rear and gated, felt safe. Hotel is a bit dated and the bed was so-so. Room decor was fine, it was more the dated carpet. But live music in the lounge was fun. Staff was amazingly friendly and attentive. Price includes breakfast and hot tub was in use. Nothing funky or untoward took place. Felt safe and the stay was cheap at about $100 all-in.

Wonderful room and value for the money. Staff was extraordinarily good to us. Great breakfast as well. We stayed two nights with our pets. That's a big plus for us. It is within an easy walk to Old Town as well. I was able to walk to a Catholic Church on Sunday. I'll stay here again!

We loved the shuttle service to Old Town and the staff were great! The breakfast was the best we've ever had at a Best Western! I'd definitely stay here again. The downfall was getting there, getting to parking is a bit difficult , actually confusing, because you turn in to what looks like a restaurant.

Hotel has a unique style with southwestern touches. Staff and amenities were great! No continental breakfast offered, but the hotel restaurant is actually pretty good, and there are great options in the surrounding area.

Stayed here over Thanksgiving. Clean, pet friendly and secure. Staff was very helpful. Room had a pet bed for our dog. Even had a treat for him when we checked. Breakfast was awesome as well. Location was near I/40 which was convenient for us. Highly recommend.

We both love old town and this motel is located in the perfect spot! The motel is showing its age but it still has charm. It really needs electronic device plug ins. I forgot my plug in for my phone chargers and I had to share with my husband.

I was treated so well! The food the paint the parking but best of all the employees. Cant praise them enough. Location is excellent and easy to find from the freeway as well. Had a burrito for breakfast as too. So inexpensive. The coffee! Mmmm

All was well here, clerks were friendly and very helpful. There was no microwave in the room but the clerk heated up our food for us and used a real plate and flatware. Breakfast was with a voucher in the restaurant inside the hotel and it was good. There was a bar but we didn't use it. The room was great. We had no problems. Clean, comfortable, roomy, with enough outlets and a good internet. I'd stay here again

Good food in Cafe, friendly staff. Next time I would request a room far from the highway. The highway noise kept me up most of the night. Exhausted from driving rest was important for me and my family.

Came in from Canada for a Breaking Bad tour and found this place very close . Right off the highway, the reception was great and quick. The beds are very comfy with 4 pillows each and coffee maker in room. The shower had a strong stream and refreshing. Strong wifi and free parking is a bonus. The breakfast voucher was a plus instead of a make yourself buffet type breakfast. The restaurant is called Wild Avocado and the ordered breakfast had many options. It was very good. The night before we actually went around town to look for a place to eat and ended up at the hotel restaurant Wild Avocado and we loved our meal served by great staff. I had a burger and fries while my wife had Fajitas and she loved them. She could only eat two so I helped her eat out n the third one... very good. Prices were very reasonable also... Great place to stay. Our room was 445 and it was close to the highway so you hear a little of the traffic.. if you would like it quieter, ask for the other side. Yes, I would stay here again!

Great location off I-40 and to walk to Old Town. We had a mixup in our reservation and Iz was on it. The room was comfortable and the breakfast at the connected restaurant was delicious. You get a voucher as a BW member (plus the best rate) And Brain took good care of us. We will be back!

Stayed 1 night during a road trip. The staff at check-in welcomed us as rewards members and were extremely friendly and professional. Our room was great, with internet service and breakfast included. We rec'd coupons for breakfast and didn't quite understand why at the time. Turns out the hotel has a retaurant/bar attached, so we used our coupon for a made to order breakfast. It was very good and service also was great. Nice quiet and clean hotel and would recommend at any time. And we were within walking distance to old town Albuquerque.

There were 4 women, 2 sets of sisters traveling to AZ to visit families. All of them wanted to stay at hotels that had easy access to I-25 and I-40. Of course, everyone wanted their "Hotel points". I suggested BW and they were all saying no. When we had turned on I-40 headed West, their hotels were all expensive or sold out due to a State Football Tournament in New Mexico. BW + had availability and the price was right. I think that the reason it was not sold out was because the street the hotel is located on "Rio Grande" was under construction and it made it difficult to get into. Needless to say, we were all very pleased with the hotel. The interior was really decorated nice with native american indian artifacts and art work. We all made reservations before we left to stay there on our return trip.

I am staying here for business. The hotel is good, the staff is very welcoming and ready to help. The breakfast staff at the Wild Avocado restaurant is good but what makes it great is our server Jonathan. I am accompanying a group of people from Africa and Jonathan is so patient with them, very understanding and works with them as they are trying to understand the menu. His professionalism is outstanding. And on top of it, he has a very positive attitude and a great smile. Thank you Jonathan.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had dinner and breakfast and both were very tasty and the service was fast and friendly. Fast check in and check out.

It's funny how a poor check in makes what would otherwise be a great stay to a good stay. First our room was comfortable and clean. The pillows and mattress were good. There was an express check out that was interesting. We arrived about 6:30 at night. The gal who checked us in, never did really look at me. She had a sort of grimace /fake smile on and seemed like she would rather be anywhere but where she was. I had to ask several questions to get normal information and I felt like she wanted to roll her eyes at me. She left me with a bad feeling in my mouth.

Excellent service, older hotel with remodeled rooms that were very comfortable, pleasant southwest decor. Great local spot near historic Old Town for exploring the area. Dining room and lounge, ample parking.

This was my first visit to NM. I was in Albuquerque for a conference. The hotel was an ideal place to be. The service was excellent. The staff is so friendly. It was great to have the restaurant on site. With my stay, you received a breakfast voucher to order off of the menu versus a typical continental breakfast. The hotel is clean and the ned was very comfortable. I plan to return for FUN and will stay with the Best Western team again!

From the moment we checked in we felt welcomed and received excellent service from the friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable, having everything we needed. The location was good, being only a short walk from the old town area. They also provided a free shuttle bus service to the railway station or the airport which was a bonus.

Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was great. IZ checked me in and she was lovely. One of the best things was that in the morning, my car was still there. In Abq that's a win.

Everything that you could think of in terms of customer service was provided. Property very clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. Great having a restaurant on the premise. Great staff, very helpful and happy.

A friend and I arrived at nearly midnight after a long flight. The gentleman at the desk could not have been nicer; we were in our room quickly. Clean and comfortable; plenty of room for us and for storage. Bath towels better than in many hotels. Location is terrific - a short walk to Old Town. Two senior ladies felt completely safe at all times, including walking back after dinner. Of special note, the breakfasts: included with our room, an abbreviated restaurant menu yet plenty of choice (I had bacon and eggs one day, oatmeal and fruit another day, etc.). So nice to have a "sit-down" breakfast instead of the nearly ubiquitous buffet. Excellent coffee. I am a fan of Best Westerns: I have found them to be fairly priced, clean, comfortable. This is a good one.

The hotel was right off of I-40 so very convenient location. Staff were very accommodating and room was nice. Beds were comfortable and didn't hear any freeway noise. The breakfasts in the hotel restaurant were delicious and not expensive. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great location, just off the highway and close to old town. Make sure to grab a room with "pool view", we did, and ours was quiet and made for a restful night. The room was clean and comfortable, bathroom had a tub we could soak in after a long day of hiking which was nice. We were up around 7:30 so it didn't bug us that the maids started vacuuming the carpets outside the rooms around 8:00 am, but keep that in mind if you want to sleep in. Breakfast wasn't included, so we didn't eat there. But the area was next to the checkin desk and it looked welcoming and clean. I'd stay here again.

I love eating in a real restaurant with table service. The avocado toast was delicious and the waiter was very accommodating. ! It is much better than the normal hotel buffets. I also like that the parking lot is fenced.

We were in ABQ for just one night and had picked the BW Rio Grande Inn for its proximity to Presbyterian/Rust hospital, It was a very pleasant stay and the facility met and exceeded our expectations. I thought that the hotel stay had a very positive effect on our reason for being there which was medical,and I might point out not one of the reasons that BW lists.

All staff pleasant, attentive and helpful. Breakfast very good and good value. Celisa in the bar was the perfect host every night, and gave good, helpful advice and information about local events and activities. Hotel was very clean and tidy as were the rooms.

Was very clean, staff was friendly, food in restaurant was above average and the decor was very appropriate for the area. The only minus side was the noise level in the establishment. There was a family in our wing who checked in late and left their children in the hall way to play (?) or ???? They were yelling and crying until after 1 AM!

I had originally scheduled to stay there on a Saturday night for a room charge of $107. Due to a change in my schedule I had to change that to Friday night. Upon arrival I was informed my room charge was going to be $188. Both weekend nights so I couldn't understand why the difference. The manager had some lame excuse because it was a different night. In the end he finally gave me an additional $40 off but would not honor the original price I was given previously. Poor way to handle a customer in my opinion and definitely not the value for the amount charged!

Room was clean and comfortable. Motel is located within walking distance to Old Town. It is also attached to a restaurant and a full breakfast is included in your stay. The desk staff and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, but were very happy with our accommodations.

I attended the Balloon Fiesta October 11-16. Your hotel was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The housekeeping staff was quite nice and accommodating. However I have to say that the young people working in the restaurant the first few days of my tour were extraordinary! They went out of their way to help me. I wish I could remember their names so the manager could recognize but I lost the card that had their names on it. I appreciate the wonderful staff of your hotel!

The hotel had nice New Mexican decor in both the lobby and rooms. The room felt clean and peaceful. The hotel staff was super friendly. The pool and hot tub were nice. Shuttle to airport and Old Town Albuquerque was very helpful.

Beautiful hotel. Had used points to stay. Was told we were not eligible for free breakfast because of using points to stay. Was disappointed in that aspect but otherwise it was a beautiful hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Location, location, location, at a great price, plus full service restaurant, The Wild Avocado, serving delicious breakfast at no charge with voucher. We were here for three days for a UNM doctor appointment and enjoyed some local attractions too! This area is prone to crime, but felt very safe in this gated property. Right between 40 and old town we were able to get around quickly with ease. Don't miss out on a stroll through old town, a ride down historic Central Blvd (formerly Route 66), or try out the scooters, the Bio Park or any of several museums. We went to the Museum of Natural History and forgot all about the time.

Room, service, and amenities were good but what was great was the Wild Avocado Restaurant in the hotel.The food was incredible and not overly expensive. The margaritas fabulous. And, the waiters and waitresses the most superb anywhere. And, we travel a lot around the world. They were knowledgeable, kind, flexible, attentive––especially Jazmin. You rock young lady! The hotel was in walking distance to Old Town. The locale was crossing of two interstates so it was not the prettiest. But the people more than made up for it. We will return and stay here again and have many meals at Wild Avocado.

Had planned to stay at another hotel for a conference, when that one was booked up I chose the Best Western Rio Grande Inn close by. Great choice! Good location, the rooms are very comfortable and clean and a special perk for Rewards members, free hot breakfast made to order in the attached restaurant. All around great choice, not too pricey.

Staff very polite and helpful (only one somewhat grumpy young woman behind the desk seemed annoyed when I asked a question during my three day stay, but another gal who came along jumped in and so I directed my questions to her). Shuttle service to local sights was great. Good food and excellent staff in restaurant.

Stayed for two nights in a nice looking of the area hotel, friendly and helpful staff, large room comfortable room, noisy air-conditioning unit, good size bathroom, comfy bed, nicely decorated room with furniture and designs of the region.

Discovered at 5am the shower doesn't work. The guy at the front desk says to "just pull real hard". Unacceptable. If my aged arthritic hands can't make it work, it should not be an ADA compliant room.

The entire staff that we dealt with were top notch. Rooms were comfortable and well decorated. Lobby area was inviting and situated adjacent to the restaurant which although offered a limited menu had very good fare. I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

I was here for two nights. It had a been a number of years since my last visit and it appeared that there had been a recent "renewal" of the rooms. Very nice SW decor, very comfortable with friendly staff. The free breakfast was a big plus since it was in the onsite restaurant. You have a coupon which is good for a choice from a number of fixed breakfast combination choices, or a take out bag, OR dollars off a choice from the regular menu. One of the better free breakfast options I have encountered. The location ls within walking distance of Old Town. This establishment is a MUCH better value for the money than any of the much pricier alternatives in the area. If you are planning a stay close to Old Town Abq this is THE place to stay without question. Easy on and off location close to I-40. I HIGHLY recommend this BW.

The BEST. Friendly employees, clean rooms and great service. I utilized both express check-in and express check-out. Best part, I was exhausted and went to the restaurant at lunch requested just a grilled cheese sandwich. Not only did I get my sandwich, but the hostess delivered it to my room.

Nice hotel in a good location just a shame the air con unit was very noisy. Easy to walk into the Old Town which is a great place to shop and eat. Lots of unique shops and whilst we were there they had a fiesta on the Sunday in the park - great experience.

Booked last minute for a wedding i was barely able to make. I looked for the vlosest place to my event. It turned out to be a really easy to find and a nice place for any kind of visit! Also the different take on a hotel breakfast is much appreciated.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the BW Plus Rio Grande Hotel! The entire staff were all very friendly and helpful ! A big plus was the shuttle service that would pick you up and take you two designated destinations . The only suggestion I would make is that they need to add microwaves to the room .

Best Western Rio Grande Inn is a niece place to stay . breakfast is good. There is always coffee and cold water and fresh fruit in the lobby for the taking. The rooms are comfortable and the shuttle bus takes you where you want to go

Location wise a good choice, the old town is close by, surrounded by many eateries, and many attractions including the pickup points for city tours and Sandia tramway are at walking distance. The hotel offers good spacious rooms with outstanding quality of linens. But the housekeeping service is very poor. Request over the intercom is recorded, not responded; but I failed to get any response even after two recording requests. No idea about the culinary as we preferred to try in the nearby choices of fabulous Mexican and Italian restaurants. Moreover I was told that the hotel does not offer a breakfast buffet.

After a long day of walking, I decided by default to eat at the hotel restaurant and I was very pleasantly surprised to be treated to a great meal (I had the burrito) at a more than fair price. The staff who served me (Trent, Irie, and Nakayla) were friendly, responsive and generally just made my stay here a lot more homey. I can't forget Michael at the desk either, who was the same way.

Wow. This is an excellent Best Western. The breakfast is not the standard continental breakfast. They actually cook for you . Pancakes eggs ham coffee. There is an excellent Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel.

Great choice for a hotel. Well located. Having a free shuttle to various places was a big plus. Desk personnel extremely helpful with anything that was needed and they were always pleasant while doing so.

The hotel was clean, the staff were pleasant, and the bed was comfortable. The morning after my stay I met Cynthia, one of the staff, in the hall and she was like a little ray of sunshine. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The front desk was very friendly at check-in. We appreciate the hospitality. The rooms had nice southwest decor and were clean. The breakfast vouchers for use in the attached restaurant were a nice touch. It's good to have a sit-down breakfast served by wait staff instead of the typical breakfast buffet you get at most Best Westerns. We have stayed at this property several times, and have never been disappointed.

The hotel is older, but in great shape. I love the seating area by the pool. Sitting there in the evening and getting to know the other travels is one of the best parts of the hotel. The food at the hotel restaurant is very good and the complimentary breakfast is the best I have ever had at a Best Western. The staff is well trained and helpful. I stay at this hotel every time I travel to Albuquerque.

We stayed one night before flying out. The rooms were nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly and cheerful, with special mention to Seve, who helped us get reed of some books we didn't need. Thanks!

Tile floors!! It was great to see lovely wood grain tile floors, perfect for pets!! We arrived shortly after check in time, our room was on the first floor, next to an exit. The room was super clean (although there was a slight cleaning solution smell). It was an older hotel, but had been refurbished with a modern vibe. It was spacious enough that we could set up the pen for our little corgis, with plenty of room to walk around it. It was quiet at night. The staff was great, super friendly! The hotel was within walking distance to Old Town and sone great restaurants. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was because it had a lack of green space for the pets to relieve themselves. My husband had to walk a few blocks away. There was a small patch (about the size of a dining room table top) of astro turf, but it had been used a lot by other dogs, and our girls wouldn't use it. Breakfast is not included and pricey- we opted for the star bucks across the street. We would stay here again!

We fell in love with this hotel! So much character and cute decor. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was well laid out and large. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and clean. We were just passing through so it was a little late, but luckily their restaurant Wild Avocado was still open and serving. Friendly staff there too! And the food was delicious! So spicy and special to New Mexico. We're always driving to California so this will be a regular stop for us.

Had no problems. It's affordable and close to the things we like to do. The breakfast is basic, but real and good. Not just a continental job. While it seemed full when we were last there, it wasn't noisy. The downside is the fitness center is not open early.

I spent a couple hours in the bar. The bartender “Celisa” was very friendly and attentive to all the guests. The hotel is conveniently located off of I-49. This was my 3rd time at this hotel and bar. I'm sure I'll be back on my trip to NM.

Right off I-40. Couldn't have been more convenient. Lounge is great, open till 11pm. Bartender very friendly. We saw lots of pets but never heard any of them and our room was right next to two dogs. Room was spacious. We had a wonderful experience.

Everything about my stay here was great! Front desk, restaurant and lounge staff were all excellent. Rooms (whole property) clean, well-maintained. Outstanding breakfasts. Great stay - will definitely make this my go-to hotel for Albuquerque!

From check-in to checout, it could not have gone any better. Good and friendly service from staff. It was a good experience. BW is a good place to stay and at reasonable prices. Oh, and it helps when you have a military discount.

We were just passing through needing good night sleep from Nevada to ohio. Hotel is an older hotel but well kept very clean comfortable beds and a great complimentary breakfast. Thank you!! I was also very pleased there's security all over hotel and a security shack in parking lot.

On the road trip crossing 12 states and stayed on night here. The location is close to old town Albuquerque. The BW App only mentioned on-site restaurant and did not offer complimentary breakfast like other locations; however, the hotel did offer breakfast coupons for the on-site restaurant. It turned out the coupons were good for the breakfast anyway. They were made to order instead of all you can eat. We did not expect anything so it became a surprise. :)

Spent one night at this BW in Albuquerque. We arrived about 9:30PM. The bar and restaurant are open until 11PM. It was taco Tuesday and we got a half dozen small tacos for ~$3. The bartender was very friendly, helpful and entertaining. The room was clean and comfortable. The next morning we had a great breakfast which was included in our rate. I had the breakfast burrito and my wife had the avocado toast. Both were freshly made and quite good. The waiter was attentive and took good care of us. All in all a very good experience at a reasonable price.

Ryan a server in the restaurant was very friendly, helpful and professional. In fact the included menu breakfast was very good and convenient. All of the service was excellent. On another note, we chose the hotel because it is pet friendly and that worked out well.

Stayed for one night on our road trip out west to be close to Old Town. This was a very clean Best Western in a very good travel location that gave great access to I40 as well as Old Town. The decorations were beautiful and the rooms very clean. I enjoyed the water in the lobby that allowed me to fill my container that had fruit added to it for flavoring. I would recommend this Best Western.

This Best Western Plus is very convenient to Interstate 40. The facilities are attractive, fresh, clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious enough for all our suitcases.

The staff at the Rio Grand are awesome. The waiter Johnathan at the restaurant was great. The room was very comfortable and clean. My only complaint was taking the luggage on the cart into the elevator. The luggage cart was too long for the narrow elevator. I later notice that they had smaller carts.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Friendly and service minded staff, always doing their best to find solutions. Good value for your money. Close to Old Town, within walking distance. Even though the gym is small, it has everything you need.

We stayed in this hotel during a two night visit to Albuquerque. It was a very good experience and we would highly recommend this hotel. On arrival to the airport we rang the hotel and within minutes the hotel shuttle arrived. The young lady driving the shuttle and the front desk staff were really friendly. The hotel is very well maintained and the room was very nice, clean and well decorated. We had drinks at the bar both nights and the first night we were served by a very polite young man and the second night by a very friendly lady. Overall this was a very pleasant stay.

Our room was fine. We were on the freeway side but the sound proofing was pretty good. The highlight was having breakfasts in the lobby restaurant. Jonathan was an exceptional server, so personable and efficient. Kudos to him!

Do not park your car in the 3 unmarked parking spots in front of the pool near Aspen Avenue. After the attempted break in, Rebecca, the manager, told us that these parking spots in front of the pool do not have a camera. She said only the back parking lot and the front door driveway have cameras. Our auto's front driver side door lock was drilled out. We are still waiting for the part to come in. Total bill for the lock replacement may exceed $415. When I asked Rebecca if we would be compensated for the price of our room on the night of the attempted break in. She shook her head "no". I immediately called Best Western Loyalty Club Customer Service and reported the incident. After I spoke with the customer service representive, Rebecca told me she had misunderstood and yes she would deduct the room price from our credit card and let us off the hook for the 2nd night as well. I was totally unaware that Albuquerque is the #1 city in the US for auto thefts. I did not know that until I goggled Albuquerque's crime stats after the attempted break in. I did think something was strange about this Best Western when Zak the young man who checked me in questioned me about my credit card having my husband's name on it instead of mine. Zak was cold as ice staring at me as he informed me that my husband who was waiting for me in the car would have to come in and produce his picture ID. We have traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels thru out the years. I have always checked us in using my husband's credit card. This is the first time in 40 years I have ever been treated as if I had a stolen credit card in my possession. Now, after the attempted auto theft I am guessing the front desk staff has been told to look out for any possible crime clues such as an older retired woman checking in with her husband's credit. And, yes, we have the same last name and I did produce my picture ID along with the credit card. In addition to Zak, the front desk gate keeper, there was an incident with a rude, thoughtless employee. The luggage carts are way too big to be able to easily get into the elevators or the back door from the back parking lot. My husband was struggling to try to get the large luggage cart into a small elevator. This young male employee excused himself to get past us and never even slowed downed or offered to help. Would I stay at this Best Western again? Absolutely not. Excluding the car theft, the staff here are probably the rudest I have ever encountered.

Loved our stay at Best Western Rio Grande! It has so much to offer. The pool was great!The property was immaculate in so many ways. Housekeeping did a wonderful job, as well as reservation specialists. Kayla took our reservations and she was wonderful to work with. The very best part of our stay was the breakfast vouchers that we used at the Wild Avocado. The breakfast choices were great, and our server Jonathan was the very best server! He was courteous, friendly, and always got our large family's orders correct. A special "thank you" to Jonathan. If you prefer to stay at a property that knows the true meaning of "customer service", you won't find a better place than this. Kudos to management, and the very best staff!

Our rooms was very clean and each day the cleaning crew did a great job....it was nice to have our beds made so nicely and clean towels always without having to ask for them. The employees were very friendly and helpful. One waiter was particularly nice, efficient and friendly - his name is Jonathan. He did an outstanding job waiting on our big group each morning. Some in our group actually requested him. The food was very good as well. This hotel really helped make our visit to Albuquerque especially nice.

Great location, easy to find within walking distance the Old Town of Albuquerque. The BW itself is a modern, well maintained hotel/motel with a pool and an excellent restaurant a half a block south. The staff is friendly and courteous without being smothering. It is my preferred place of lodging when visiting Albuquerque.

Handicap accessiable. Room was good. The resturant was exceptional, with the service given by Jonathan. The facilities of pool and pub were outstanding. The front desk was very helpful with every need.

The hotel was very convenient to I40 and to Old Town Albuquerque. Our room was spacious and clean. During breakfast in the hotel dining room our friendly waitress, Christine L, asked about our travels and provided suggestions of “things to do” during our visit. She not only made a recommendation to consider the AT&SF Tour ABQ, but went out of her way to find a brochure for us. This was all followed by great service during our breakfast.

This is a great hotel. Super nice and clean, staff were really friendly and helpful. I highly suggest this hotel. The bathrooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the room was large and roomy, and the pool was a great temperature, along with the hot tub.

The main staff and the accomodations were very nice. I wished for more parking spaces every evening I returned. I do not recomend eating in the lower level pub/restaurant. My hot food was cold, overcooked and took way too long to be delivered. My soda was horrible and flat. When I told the disinterested waiter, he said they could remake my order. I declined, paid, and left as I did not wish to wait and wait again!

GREAT Hotel! Super nice, super comfortable and a GREAT restaurant! We got in late and the sugar sweet lady at the desk still got us our requested first floor room. (The only time of 6 nights we got ground floor, despite requesting it every night.) and since we were in late we wanted quick and easy, and its only 5 bucks to get room service from the restaurant. We got our dinner and loved it! And really enjoyed the breakfast as well. REALLY good restaurant pushes this already good Hotel into great! Add on to that GREAT staff,...and you got the place to stay out of a lot of options in the A.B.Q.

Spent one night at this place traveling through Albuquerque. There is a decent restaurant attached to the hotel. Room was fine, bed was fine; bathroom was small but ok except for the toilet paper roll holder which kept falling out of the wall when in use. Listened to a dog barking in an adjacent room all night long. Had the AC running all night long trying to drown out the dog barking. Definitely not a restful stop.

We stayed here for one night. Check in was excellent, very helpful & informative receptionist. Our room was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Also plenty of room. The pool was clean & inviting & we had a lovely swim. There is a shuttle bus to local amenities, we took it to the Old town Plaza but walked back. We had a drink in the bar, very friendly bar staff. Breakfast was good, table service and complimentary. All in all we'd recommend staying here.

First off, I need to say that I have been a Best Western customer for a very long time. Up until recently, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Unfortunately there have been a few experiences that have been changing my opinion of the brand....worst of which has been the stay at this hotel. The entrance to the parking lot was very confusing. I was driving a truck pulling a horse trailer and when I pulled in, the hotel shuttle was parked at a very odd angle in front of the door leaving barely enough room for anyone to get past. The elevators did not feel as though they were air conditioned. They were very small and only two or three could fit with minimal luggage. The bathroom was a very odd L shaped layout, the toilet was halfway under the counter and not very user friendly. The lighting in the room was awful. The room was abnormally dark. Upon entrance to the room, the air conditioning was turned off and the temperature was oppressive. Once turned on the room took hours to cool. Worst of all though....there was BLOOD on the door that seperated our room from the adjoining room....there were three blood spots (that I could see) on the face of the door....I took a photo. I regret not saying anything about the blood, but by the time we got to the hotel, got settled and were climbing into bed, it was only then that I saw it and we were so exhausted from the road that we just wanted to sleep and then get out. I expect better from Best Western and I definitely expect better from anywhere that I am paying over $100 a night to stay.

Very cute hotel, lots of pretty details all over. Breakfast was great, it's a sit down instead of continental and they give you a $7 voucher. Shout out to Christine for being an awesome server! Will be back.

We were on our way home and decided to stop here. The place had very good ratings. We loved everything about it except the hot tub. We decided to take a soak before bed. After we were in it we noticed that there wasn't any chlorine smell and the water was low and not very clean. On my way home I started itching. I doctored my self up with over the counter medications for a couple of day but symptoms got much worse and I had get a shot plus medication. I'm still not any better and will need to go back. Doctor thinks I caught something from the hot tub. Hope to cure soon. I would recommend this place but worn not to swim or hot tub it.

I read a lot of reviews of the hotels around Alb, NM and it seems there are a lot of issues with the hotels here in this area, unless you want to pay over $300 a night. This place was pricey in itself (not over 300 but close) and considering everything it had I'd say we were paying more for the security than anything else. I mean, this place is no 5 diamond AAA hotel, not even 4 diamond. We'd been on the road for almost 2 weeks and have stayed in a lot of hotels that cost a lot less than this place and were just as nice. I'm not giving a negative review to the quality of the hotel, just the value...which seems to run in line with the area unless you want to deal with the homeless. If you'll notice I did rate it excellent because it checks off all my boxes. Good AC, good bed, quiet rooms, good breakfast, plenty of parking. Good fitness center. The staff was very friendly. Just can't get over the price I had to pay for this place knowing how much I paid on average for the same thing along the way. Not the hotel's fault, I'm sure but in summary if you want a nice clean comfy safe place to stay be prepared to pay for it. This place will fit the bill!

At the Best Western a cherry atmosphere and a smile go a long way. My stay was very comfortable, the room was clean and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. I highly recommend the Best Western Hotel.

Wonderful experience at this hotel from checkin to checkout! Lydia and Abigail were very helpful regarding the hotel, the area, and the Best Western rewards program which after joining, we received vouchers for breakfast! Very nice amenity! Our room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were wonderful-it was hot during our visit so it was nice to have the pool. Breakfast was very good. They even supply a grab and go bag in the morning if you leave early. The bag consisted of juice, a muffin, yogurt, and an apple. Perfect! What a great idea!. We will continue to look for Best Westerns on our travels.

Stayed with our dog. They have specific pet friendly rooms (need to pre-reserve one) They have nice non-carpeted floors which allow these rooms to stay clean and scent free despite numerous pets having spent the night previously. My dog did not go into a sniffing frenzy as she is apt to do in carpeted pet-friendly rooms. Rooms have easy access to outdoor dog comfort area - at least mine was on the first floor, near to the best exit to use for the dog walking area. Also there is a nice neighborhood for a longer dog walk just behind the hotel.

The place is noisy. Right next to the freeway. The so called quiet room we got was next to the entrance and vending machine that was stocked at 3:30 am After 3 hrs with the maintenance guy in our bathroom the drain still didn't work and we were offered a lesser room with no refunds . The breakfast vouchers were not accepted by the restaurant, we had to eat elsewhere. Not impressed. Last time for this place. I skipped all Best Westerns rest of trip

day 2 of road trip and we stayed here after all day on road having a place to eat right there just made it SOOO much easier quiet room , clean place , right off freeway great restaurant , very nice restaurant staff what more could one ask for

We just went 777 mile on a motorcycle and booked a room here. This place was clean, easy to get to - off route 66/ I-40, and had a restaurant in hotel. Park was a little crowded as hotel was full. Room was nice and bed very comfortable. Breakfast WAS VERY GOOD AND A GREAT START TO THE DAY.

Although we only stayed one night--and we arrived after 10 p.m.--we were impressed with the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff at the reception desk and in the restaurant. They made it easy for us to relax after dealing with airports, car rentals, and figuring out the freeway system.

We are moving cross country and had to quickly find a another hotel after the first one we booked was below subpar. We were able to book a room, check in, and get settled in for the evening within an hour. When we checked in, our pups were given treats from the front desk. Our experience was so amazing, and definitely what we needed after a long drive from Oklahoma. We all slept so well and we were ready to tackle the day with another long drive.

I was coming to New Mexico for a work conference and decided to extend my stay and bring the family. The location of the conference was pricey so I booked the personal portion of our stay here. We did not have a car as we arrived via plane. This hotel was excellent! Free shuttle service to the nearby tourist locations. Free pick up from the airport and/or train station. New Mexico Rail Runner allowed us to explore Sante Fe. Joined the Best Western rewards program and was surprised upon check in that they then provided free cooked hot breakfast. You can pick from several options on the menu. I absolutely LOVED this place!

This was my first stay at BW Rio Grande, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was compared to other BW hotels I've stayed at across the US. The biggest plus for me was the restaurant/bar located in the hotel itself - so great to be able to relax with a libation (or two) and food after driving all day and not having to leave the premises. The Rio Grande allows you to take drinks and food either to your room, poolside or to the pleasant outdoor courtyard that's perfect for socializing. My room was nicely decorated, very clean, towels were big and fluffy and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed good New Mexican beer and food in the bar. Kudos to Deon, the efficient weekend bartender, who greeted everyone with a smile and had a friendly conversation with all of the patrons. Another plus is a private fenced parking lot - limited access to outsiders at night with good security and lighting. Although I didn't take advantage of the service, they have a free shuttle to Old Town - very convenient. No complaints, really, it was a great stay and it will be my choice of hotel when I'm back in Albuquerque.

When ever I come to Albuquerque I stay at Rio Grande Best Western Hotel. The food is good and reasonable and the service is great and it's in a great location. Everyone is so attentive to your needs and wants.

Nice place right off the freeway. Clean rooms clean property super convenient restaurant with bar, quiet place nice staff, beds a little hard but it didnt bother my husband ... cant really complain about it at all!!

Great place, Isn't too big or too small. Free Breakfast is great. Soon after we got into our room the room above us flooded and the ceiling game down in our bathroom shower! But we were in a new room in 5 minutes. The response was awesome.

didnt give 5 stars only bc the bed was too hard. It made my back achy. other than that, the hotel is beautiful, super clean, and the staff was awesome. they also have a free shuttle service to local attractions and the airport which was perfect for me since i am solo without a car.

This hotel is very convenient to the freeway and very clean. The beds are very comfy. My husband slept all night for the first time in a week. The staff was very nice and always greeted you when you came in. The restaurant was very nice . And you get free parking.

I stayed here for a long weekend in May. It was my first time in the city. I flew into the airport and was picked up by the hotel's free shuttle. The driver was very friendly and nice. Got to the hotel several hours before check in and was given a room immediately. Again, the desk clerks were very friendly. The room was very clean and a decent size. The bed was good and I slept well here. The water pressure in the bathroom was good, but the pipes were loud. They would shake when the neighbors used their water. I went to the pool the first afternoon. The pool area was nice and and towels were provided. The water had some debris in it, but I think it was just because it was a very windy day there are trees nearby. Otherwise, the area was very pleasant. I went to the bar on Friday and the bartender was extremely nice. Recommended drinks and food.....there was a singer in the bar and free chips and salsa. I had a burger and was not thrilled with it....it was a frozen patty and not made from fresh meat. The location of the hotel was great.....I was able to walk into Old Town and they provide the free shuttle for other places. On Saturday evening I again went to the bar.....I had eaten in Old Town but wanted a nightcap. There was a different bartender....he too was nice, but he was overwhelmed. A tour group had checked in and he couldn't keep up. The hotel needs to add another bartender for nights when they know there are groups staying in the hotel. Sounds pretty good so far, right? So now for the one issue, and sorry it is one I just can't get past. I had free breakfast included with my stay. The food was okay.....nothing I would rave about, but passable. The problem was one waitress. She had MAJOR allergies or a cold. She was constantly sniffing quite loudly.....even when she was behind in the kitchen you could hear her. I wanted to offer her a box of kleenex. It was disgusting to say the least. She would do this while she was delivering your food at the table. I mentioned this to the front desk manager and he said someone else had also told him about this ( you could hear her at the front desk), but she was there the next day doing the same thing. This is just unacceptable......I know people have allergies, but they shouldn't be around food. The hotel needs to address this issue.....it was the only problem with the hotel.

Situated near the old town, this hotel gives you access to anything you may need. However if you want too go further there is a free shuttle to the airport and various other attractions on the way, we used it to go to and from the zoo. The rooms are nice, and also clean, but what made the stay for us was the staff who were really helpful and enthusiastic, giving us various little tips. I must mention Abigail, who was quite new, but was really bubbly and went out of her way to help. There is some sort of happy hour in the bar, and in the corner of reception there is a brightly painted cupboard which is a book exchange, and also houses brochures for local attractions

We have stayed here before and returned bc we like it. While it is not a new hotel, it has a great pool and fitness center and everything is very clean. There is a restaurant attached, not sure if it is included - it was for us bc we frequent Best Westerns.

My wife and I were visiting New Mexico/Albuquerque for the first time. We stayed at the BW Rio Grande for the first 3 days of our trip. The hotel's proximity to Old Town and the freeway were a plus. The hotel was clean and all the staff we met were professional, friendly and welcoming. The only draw back was we arrived very late (2am) due to airline scheduling and this first night in my opinon should have been pro-rated instead of charged full price. This is corporate greed at it's finest. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and our visit to New Mexico

We try to stay at BW properties when we travel. We find them consistent and the BW Rewards programis generous. This motel was conveniently located, had a comfortable clean room and the pool area was nice. The breakfast was clearly a step above most BW properties we have used. Numerous choices and very tasty.

One stop, this was the best BW that we have stayed, lounge and restuarant all in one and the staff and service was great. You don't need to leave the property, it was relaxing while traveling cross country.

Restaurant was disorganized, waitstaff didn't seem to know their job very well. Couldn't get waited on, that night couldn't get room service. Went down to get food myself, took forever they were not busy and it was cold.

This is a nice quiet hotel within walking distance of historic Old Town Albuquerque. We've stayed here twice on our travels farther south and have had nice stays each time. The staff was friendly and the rooms were fine.

This property is right next to the interstate. If your a light sleeper this is not the place for you. I asked upon check in for a room away from the interstate and was told it would cost $15 per night extra to move to the other side of the building. There are breakfast vouchers for the restaurant attached. The vouchers were never offered upon check in. Only received them when I asked for them. Restaurant is nice and the vouchers do cover a nice breakfast. Rooms were clean and nice. Housekeeping staff was friendly.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. Check-in was easy and very friendly. We had a small issue with our room and had maintenance come immediately. You receive a voucher for breakfast at the restaurant at the hotel. Breakfast was very good and again great customer service. The waitress did a good job even though she was very busy. Pool and hot tub were also good. We used it two of the days that we were there. Our only issue with the room is the air conditioner ran almost constantly and was kind of loud. If you turned it off the room got stuffy but other than that it was a nice stay.

This is my go to place in Abq. I have never been disappointed. The restaurant is very good, and there is a nice bar. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The pool and hot tub area is very nice.This is an older property, but super clean and well maintained and the staff is super friendly and helpful.! Ask for a room facing the pool on an upper floor to avoid the traffic noise and get a nice view of the mountains. I found the beds to be too soft for comfort.

Had a lovely stay at the Best Western. They havee a shuttle Service that picks you up at the airport, and will transport you anywhere - Old Town. The zoo, the Art museum. Entertainment in the bar Thursday night. Restaurants nearby and food in hotel eas good. Nice pool. STAFF ARE VERY ACCOMODATING

Fantastic service, nice location (near Old Town) & voucher for breakfast had a wonderful selection to choose from. Close to Interstate so room overlooking pool ideal. Comfortable beds too! Staff very friendly & helpful too.

Our server christine was super attentive to our needs while dining 2 days. Food was delicious and plentiful. Highly reccomend the avocado toast dish. ask for christine! Traveling for business as I do this is such a welcome retreat

We stayed here after a wonderful tour of some of the US national parks. Unfortunately we were put in the very end room right next to the freeway and as we like to have fresh air when sleeping we left the window open, but had to shut it due to the traffic noise. Even with the window shut it was very noisy and I could not sleep. We did not make use of any of the hotel facilities as we had to leave by 4am to catch our flight out. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room and bed was comfortable.

Older property that could use updating the rooms. Bed's matteress was lower in the middle and could use a replacement. Lighting needs updating as it is dim and makes reading at night very difficult. With LED's you can have decent brightness without using a lot of power. Small bathroom with poor lighting also. On the plus side there was a bathmat for the tub (no grab bars) and 2 suitcase stands. Sodas from the vending machine was priced competitively and free ice is avaiable. Many TV stations to choose from. WiFi is free and is fairly fast. The hot breakfast in the resturant was good along with the service. Drink prices were good in the bar. There is plenty of parking and it is only a few blocks from the Old Town section (easy walk).

The hotel was perfectly located for our visit with family. It was clean, nicely furnished and the staff was personable and friendly. It was a very busy weekend which may explain why we had two minor glitches. First glitch - no one warned us that the parking gate would be locked in the evening. We ended up driving around a bit to locate the only open entrance after dark. Second glitch - no one warned us that the complimentary breakfast did not include beverages and was limited to a different menu. Not a huge deal but our free breakfast ended up costing twenty dollars! As mentioned by others, the location is the big plus here. Rooms were spacious and surprisingly quiet for the number of guests in the hotel. We will come again.

We just needed a room overnight for 8-10 hrs, booking was easy (room cheaper online than calling hotel). Desk clerk was indifferent didn't even look up at me after initial hello. My fault in not verifying but no free breakfast, there is a restaurant that is quite on expensive side for breakfast. Room was nice and comfy, bathroom very oddly shaped and hard to get to tub and watch your head when standing up from toilet (towel rack right in front of it). Toilet paper, as usual, like sand paper. Ok for quick overnight, no long stay

We stayed here 3 nights and though 'just a 3 star hotel' we were so impressed with all the staff at this place. The front desk people were always ready to help you in anyway. We needed their shuttle many times and were graciously driven and picked up to the airport, train station and Old Town, The restaurant adjacent to the lobby area has a wonderful breakfast featuring a 'voucher' one but more options are offered. We had dinner there one evening and were very pleased with the service and the meal.

Enjoyed my stat at the Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn. The property is clean and well managed. The rooms were spotless. The bar and resturant were very good. Also had a free shuttle to the airport. Overall a great experience.

Nice relaxing hotel with great amenities in a great location. We have stayed at this hotel several times before but this experience had issues (curt front desk, slow restaurant service and inconsistent wifi). We will be back and hope that this was an aberration.

Excellent location for Old Town and not far from airport. Accommodations and decor are appropriate for a hotel in New Mexico. Staff are very helpful. We had excellent service in the dining room from Christine L and Ryan - food is good too.

Rooms were great and clean. Food in the restaurant was good. They had food specials a few days of the week in the bar in the PM. Food in the bar was also good. Staff was friendly. One of the treadmills in the fitness room had a button or two that was not there but could still be used other than that the fitness room is great. The location of the hotel is great, near I-40 and other great restaurants and places to visit. I definitely plan to return. Also love that the breakfast is more than the usual hotel breakfast line up offered at most hotels.

room was very nice and comfortable for sleepng but not for spending time, too small. beds were firm, how we like them. bathroom was tiny and awkward. small bfast menu, need to stick to more basic, or add buffett

Hotel easy on and off the highway Hotel was a surprise that it had a bar and restaurant. Rooms extremely clean. Bar and restaurant as well. Staff is above and beyond. BEAUTIFUL washcloth duck on the bed. They should sell these as patrons would be interested. Went to te bar and was graciously greeted by Bartender (which is a total amount of respect) Celisa who recommended a wine that I totally now love. Dinner was a Mexican combo which was delicious. Trent was a wonderful waiter. When we left we were greeted with cookies that I thought would be with coffee in the morning but are gone. Maybe should be sold. Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is super clean and very comfortable. Everything was in perfect working condition! The restaurant was the best we have had at a Best Western to date anywhere! The staff is friendly, Happy and eager to please! Love this place! We highly recommend it!!

If you want a reasonable priced hotel near Old Town, then this is the place. Older hotel but very clean, quiet and staff very friendly. Cynthia had our room sparkling!! They have a full service restaurant so the breakfast selections were great....absolutely would stay here again.

Truly enjoyed our stay here. Right off the freeway, but noise wasn't a factor. Very convenient and clean! The beds are very comfortable. The pillows were perfect and the bathroom was roomy, clean and filled with great amenities.

The lobby, restaurant and rooms were very clean. Great amenities too. We used the free shuttle to get to and from attractions. Excellent staff. Good options for breakfast and dinner. We had a wonderful stay for a very reasonable cost.

Enjoyed our quick stay at this hotel. It was right off I-40. They had great food from their restaurant. You get a voucher for breakfast which doesn't cover everything but it was very good and different. They had a couple of nice picnic tables outside at the back which my daughter took advantage of because she smokes and had a pleasant place to sit. Bed very comfortable, rooms clean. They also had a bar at this hotel but we didn't have time to check it out. Staff very friendly and helpful.
