Best Western Plus
We thought it would be the same standard as other Best Western's in other countries. Although the service was good, we did not feel very comfortable, we first had to change rooms as it was smelling of cigarette and until night there was noise. The breakfast was ok and was included.
Everything was good, perfect breakfast buffet, the room was nice and clean, except for a noise from outside when someone open and close the door was terrible. The receptions staff was great very helpful and accommodating. Good luck...
Comfortable bed, good pillows, clean, good breakfast, free parking, good restaurants n SPA and great location. Tip for great stay, ask for higher floor to escape the music from arabic club. Lot of families were staying.
Staff has always been wonderful. We stay often at this hotel and are always greeted with a welcome back and a smile. Rooms are comfortable and clean and in my estimation a good value. We enjoy the BBQ restaurant and the staff there.
This hotel was great. Location was great as it was near a small mall and a bigger Juffair Mall. Staff offered great service and the room was extremely spacious, clean and looked brand-new. This hotel, however, is not family-friendly as it has dodgy services and is surrounded by dodgy locations.
A perfect place to stay with a good ambiance, clean rooms, delicious foods, and professional staffs specially the Front Office Team. Surely will recommend it to all of my family and friends who will visit Bahrain.
Stayed one night at this hotel last weekend. Have some good points and bad. First of all the good. Dropped off luggage early and that was taken to the room. Room was very quiet on the 10th floor. Bad points: Upon check in was not given the wifi code let alone told anything about wifi being available. Although I had booked through a 3rd party without breakfast included I found out from my colleague that the breakfast is included. Was not even told where the location was for breakfast had I wanted to even pay for it. The person who checked me in was evidently new just feel that maybe another colleague should be on hand to help them. Overall a very pleasant stay
The best hotel with neatness, great staff and situated at perfect location. The staff are so helpful, the ambiance of the room is extraordinary. The staff allocates the room of our choice and are very polite. If you are new to bahrain just ask the staff they will guide you in perfect way with high patience. The maintance of the pool is damn good.
Had a room on 7th floor, not much of a view as its surrounded by more hotels and buildings. the rooms were spacious and clean. Excellent interior. the fridge minibar was empty :(. the mantra restaurant was good. though not much of food variety but they had covered with indian, asian and continental food. Plus we could place a order for some indian curry too. they have a TEXAS bar on ground floor but didn't had chance to visit it. all the staff was indian and very courteous and helpful. would like to specially mention abt Miss.Rasika who was very helpful. In short good place to stay. would definitely visit it again.
This hotel is very nice, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and so is the bed. Room service available 24/7 and two choices of in house dining. The breakfast has a fair choice somethings are cooked to order. Really enjoyed our stay.
Great location. Mantra Food hall is Awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again if I was to go back to Bahrain. Its what I would expect from a 5-star hotel rather than a 3 star. Will come back again.
Was an awesome night with all the helpful staff.. thanks for being part on our company's annual staff party last February of this year..that was really a very memorable one.. nice banquet hall that has access to the pool. Really is amazing.
One of the Best Hotel in its segment, beautiful ambiance, great location, awesome service & place to stay with ur family. Impressed with the overall Hospitality. Check In was quick & fast, rooms were clean & super large & love the restaurant -Mantraa , serving authentic Indian Food
Had a great time at the brunch with work colleagues. The karaoke was entertaining, didn't realise so many of my mates could sing "OR NOT" ha ha. Food was of a good standard, enjoyed the Pork ribs in a delicious sauce. Only downside was they didn't have Kilkenny on the pumps.
The hotel is good and located in a good place. Rooms are good and clean. Hygiene standard maintained. Good Housekeeping by the Room boys. Good Decor of the rooms Even the Mantraa Dining was fine with good food of your choice. Stewards were polite and no delay in taking your order for food. Front office staff were also very polite and helpful. Would like to stay once again may be in next three months.
Visited this hotel for Business Purposes. It is a good hotel in terms of decency. There is a pub in the ground floor and another one in the 3rd floor but both are well shielded for noise. The inhouse restaurant is not that good though. There are better junctions in the food street or in nearby lulu mall.
Stayed here since I was checking new places . Won't be trying them again. Nothing bad about the hotel. One incident which summarises the stay..there was a power failure in our wing due to something tripping and it took some time for it to be back on. I had gone for a walk and when I came back there was a letter apologising and talking about an upgrade. I called them reception and they happily washed their hands off that the upgrade was for next time the power goes off. An upgrade would have been nice but not a big deal since I was staying for 2 nights only but the way the situation was handled was what got me thinking. Simply put for what I paid I would have got a hotel with bigger rooms, better food and better location
It's a nice hotel for a 2 night stay. It's clean, and the room is a pretty good size. The staff are friendly, and the check in was very fast. The only issue I had was with the pillows. They are all very hard and big. I couldn't sleep well because of them. I advise the management to change their pillows to more softer ones. I have tried their spa, and it is excellent and professional. I haven't tried neither the breakfast nor the other restaurants in there.
Just spent a night so not much to report. Checkin was fast and was upgraded which is always welcomed...:) Room was BIG and comfortable bed with lot of toiletries. Check out was also fast. Didnt get to try the breakfast so no comments. Nice location Considering the price and what i saw would love to come back.
Upon arrival the tv did not work but was quickly fixed by staff. The following day the ac did not work but again was fixed by staff and did not require a room change. The restaurant and bar was good quality and taste.
Perfect dine for Desi food lovers. We had dinner in Mantra which was really pleasant in terms of service & food. server and manager (Mr. Vipin) always look after you every after 5 to 10min which is very commendable. Team has suggested us correct food according to our expectation..surely will come back..thank you once again Mantra Team.
Totally dedicated staff who are extremely helpful. Clean rooms. Good food served in restaurant. Can't fault the hotel at all. Nothing is too much trouble for them and go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one.
Rude staff. mediocre room. gross & expensive room service food. good free breakfast. If you want to be ignored by the staff and up charged for things you did not even use. If you do not want to sleep at all, If you want to have low class drunks all around you, Then you should book this hotel. I hated my stay here. If your going to Bahrain to have a good time, at least pick a place with more class than this. Its a buzz kill with how rude people are here.
I stayed at this hotel as part of a business trip. I had sent the hotel email twice before arriving but zero response so they not good on the electronic communication side. The check in was fast but the hotel was not very aware of what around it and not good at telling you things to do. When you go to your room it is a little scary/spooky as they use sensors to turn on light and when you first enter an area it is dark going on. The sensors come on pretty quick but you are already in that area and had no way of knowing what was in there before you got in. Also the placement of lights in the room is kind of depressing much like a morque. The room was spacious but very poorly maintained. I had to have maintenance visit twice with one being light bulbs as both of table lamps were burned out and then again as the TV was broke. Also when TV was fixed it would occasionally just cut out much like if you had a bad satellite feed. Also the windows were very dirty so i left the drapes open as it was an obvious thing that needed cleaned. All that happened was the maid shut the drapes without cleaning up that area. They have the rooms keyed so that no stranger can get to your room unless they live on that floor. Only real problem is I had others staying in hotel on other floors and I could not get to them nor could they get to me. I know I pointed out a lot of deficinies and given the choice I would chose others but if you find a great rate the place is clean and seems overall not too bad.
Stayed here after a recommendation for a work colleague. I can tell you this place is very nice. I don't know what the better rooms are like but if the "standard" is anything to go by, you will not be disappointed. Fantastic customer service from all of the staff and I mean all the staff, nothing is a problem.Delicious breakfast with a great variety. Rooms were so clean, didn't smell like stale smoke which was fantastic. Manager and director are first class. Highly recommend this place
when it is almost winter season we live in this hotel so everybody is welcoming and friendly the rooms are so clean and up to standard, you can enjoy your day at the pool or the Thai spa, or the beauty saloon with the most expert make up artist i met. not to forget the roadhouse grill place yummmy food and good music
i stayed there for like 16 days , it was a business trip with my family , lovely stuff , clean and big rooms , the breakfast buffet is not that much good but acceptable , its very close to aloosra super market as well , parking also is not an issue for the hotel , i bet you will enjoy your stay there
Room well appointed. Comfortable beds. However didn't get single good nights sleep (stayed 3 nights) due to a mysterious sound emanating from the walls of the room. I think it was actually some frequency reverberation from the air con system in the hotel. Sounded like a disco going on outside with bass reverb into the room. Hotel walls in the room also seemed a little thin since I could hear occupants next door as they were chatting. Maybe they were just loud. Empty tiled corridors meant you could chwa?y heart other rooms door closing. Staff excellent and very helpful. Room kept spotless with good functional bathroom. Plenty of storage. Tea coffee in room. As in title Indian food first class. Also American bar/restaurant adjoining which served good beers and food. Stay paid for by company but generally prices seemed quite reasonable. I'll take my earplugs next time.
I guess I had luck not to be there at a thursday or friday because it was not loud at all. Every thing at the room worked well and it was clean and well equiped. pricing was reasonable and the bar downsatairs was lively even on weekday. The industrial area Al Hidd is not far away as are the Airport and the US Naval Base. Food was not excellent but nice.
The room was fine - extremely clean and nicely finished. Didn't appear old or dated, had fresh, comfy linens and towels. Furnishings were updated, clean and well-placed. Lighting was odd, but adequate. Two things stood out on this one-night visit.... no mention of our BW loyalty program status or customary welcome gift or complimentary upgrade. And this place is LOUD. Doors slamming. Hallways are tiled, so footfall and noisy partying guests echo. Traffic sounds from our room on the 13th floor were insanely loud. Like honking, shrieking, engine-revving crazy loud. Room temperature was pleasant, and easily controlled. The bed was quite firm, linens were nice and fresh, amenities were pleasing as well. And this place was spotlessly-clean. Two bottles of water, teabags, instant coffee and generous sized mugs were provided. Towels were large and of a very nice quality. Slippers were provided. If you're looking for a party hotel, this is it. If you're hoping for any rest at all, look elsewhere.
The hotel is situated close to the Naval Support Activity (NSA) which is convenient. They offer a shuttle service to and from the NSA which is also a plus. The internet and TV is hit or miss working only some of the times. I have here twice and both times have complained about it.
was there in January 2016, well booked the room after going through reviews online. rooms nice, location is reasonable, lulu market nearby (abt 10min. walk), few cafes, super market nearby about 200mtrs. decent locality. hotel: nice hotel good reception staff nice Indian resturant breakfast was really nice: yes i wold too call it a full breakfast (they have Indian options plus continental as per standard options and few desserts) if u like Indian they had puri bhaji, Alu Paratha (i had requested him for a fresh one made one very well in pure North Indian style with all spices as requested; was really impressed.) al the staff at the resturant very courteous. Rooms nice and spacious as usually compared, well my request for high floor was not full filled due to booking or ... whatver the reason..i was on the 7th floor. (work vist so din;t really bother much) but i guess one can always request for a high floor overall a nice place to stay, good food, clean and safe with a good decent location. the only ** mentioned in the heading is theres an Arab club on the 3rd floor in the hotel bld.
Rooms are amazing... but don't drink out of the glasses in the bathroom. Quiet, comfortable rooms, clean lobby, and a staff that will jump to help at a moment's notice. Never had anything but smiling faces at the desk. The restaurants of the lobby are really very nice. Indian food or Texas BBQ. Great choices, and good food. I'll be back for sure.
Best located comfortable hotel ,we had a business meeting and found this hotel very comfortable with good services. Comfortable bed with neat clean rooms , Excellent housekeeping. Indian food at the downstairs restaurant was good. Met one of staff Kamles very courteous and polite man helped and guided us well. Very convenient excellent hotel would like to stay again while in city.
Comfy beds, great room service food. I did write a rant on trip advisor before this one, moaning about the noise coming from the third floor nightclub, I have to say that it actually was not that bad if you were on the 7th floor or above, and at the rear of the hotel, I did have friends that were upset by the noise but I seemed to avoid the worst of it. I have not found a hotel in the middle east that doesn't have this problem.
Stayed here in early January, not the best to be honest only used this hotel because it was close to my business meeting the room was outside a construction site so at 6 am i was up wither i wanted to be or not ,they had two restaurant an american burger type place or an indain restaurant the american place double for a bar with live music very loud could hear this music on floor 6 ,there is a navel base nearby so i understand catering for the market but surly you also want to balance other guests,i will not use this hotel again although the staff were all friendly not my venue
Good location. Spacious rooms & well designed. Friendly staff and very helpful. Well maintained and clean Excellent food @ Mantraa restaurant. Parking facility is an advantage Had a comfortable stay. Check-in & Check-out was very smooth. Friendly and helpful staff. They did their best to accommodate our request. Breakfast was satisfying. Delicious food at Mantraa Restaurant. In short, looking forward to stay again.
I wasn't too impressed when we drove up, because this area of town just has high rises plopped next to each other, but as soon as I entered the lobby, I realized I was in a whole other world. The rooms are unbelievably large, the living/dining area is fine for small gatherings, the bed is comfortable, the staff are sweet and accommodating, and breakfast is terrific.
Very clean and spacious room , i had a quick check in an out. I had dinner at the indian restaurant downstairs its good but lack a good variety. The hotel is central , has bars and a disco its very nice for who like thoses kind of things The wifi is a let down.
This is a clean modern hotel, rooms a big, the staff very friendly and helpful, the redtraunt just off the main lobby was very good, serving pub style foid and Italian pizza etc. very well located in touristic nightlife area and only a short way from the airport
Nice hotel, staff goes out of their way to accommodate the customer. Fitness room could have better workout and variety of machines. BBQ Resistant is pricey. Rooms look fairly new and the beds are comfortable.
We stayed for two nights here in October. The room was clean and well appointed. Sumptuous breakfast was served in the Indian restaurant in the ground floor. Except for the requirement to keep the passport with the reception check in process was smooth. The staff were courteous and helpful.
I stayed in this hotel once rooms are very clean , the restaurant is excellent I would recommend it to everyone, however drink at the bar are quite expensive like in all Middle East hotel staff is very friendly, location is accessible liked my stay there.
I enjoyed my stay here. It is close to all the nightlife in Juffair and also close to a supermarket. They have a hairdresser and nail bar and a good indian restaurant. There is also a busy bar there which we enjoyed sitting in. Clean spacious room and good breakfast. Would stay here again. Also the cleaning staff found my necklace which was a sentimental gift so I was very pleased they found it! Thank you.
I stayed at this hotel on a short business trip for 1 night on 10th August.... the parking lot is a multi-storey parking lot and i think requires more signage of how and where it connects, there is signage currently but not sufficient.... firstly checkin process was simple not much of a hassle but i do mind the hotel asking to keep my passport as a deposit with them....its not acceptable to me but i didn't mind as in the middle east this is a common practice by many.... as i headed for the room i realized that the elevators they use aren't of good quality with slow closing doors, once researched i realized the elevators are supplied and maintained by one of their local group companies so which i figured is influence of the local group company falling in the same umbrella... the lobby before the room is lit up with environmental friendly LED lighting though i think it is very dark and they could brighten it up a little. entering the room. it looked nice with almost 4.5 star finishing from all angles. i stayed in 904 on 9th floor. the bed was comfortable with required amenities all around me. the ac was really nice much needed during the peak summer month. i had a complain that the refrigerator was noisy when its compressor was running but it was acceptable. the other complain i had was that the bathroom door closed very slowly and even giving it a push was of no use....probably a faulty retracting system for my particular bathroom. i had a good night sleep here. i used the gym in the evening as well. they have no slippers policy and i was not carrying my sports shoes on my business trip...the receptionist at the gym did not let me enter initially but on my request she let me go as i had to work out only on abs without weights and none of the machines were to be used. really appreciate them keeping the gym open further than 7 PM (closing time) for me to workout. i woke up to a decent layout of breakfast. it was more than what i expected for the price i paid of $90 for the night + breakfast. they had the live omelette station as well. for a budget business traveller this was more than what i could ask for. checkout process was smooth! overall a good business hotel, a little expensive for me but worth the money !
I am a platinum member . However, I was not satisfied with my check in and check out procedure with a lady named Ema. I did not receive a welcoming greeting. The hotel manger needs to send her for a hospitality training course. The suite was good and clean. Breakfast was average. Swimming pool was nice.
