« Good option in Aalst »

Quite new and beautiful installations. Good bed, excellent space of the room also. Bathroom was good, with a good shower. Very good breakfast. One important complains was related to the air control temperature, it was not working properly.

    « 3 nights stay »

We checked in at 3 pm. Our room was neat and clean, the view was limited from the window (room 407) facing a private garden space of the neighbouring house at an angle. The sauna and gym were on the first floor - clean and neat. Towels and water are provided. It would be nice if cleaning liquid is left to clean the equipment when used I,e. Bike or tradmill. You have to request that they switch on the sauna. This hotel does not have a restaurant although there are plenty of eating places close by. They do have room service. Coffee capsules in the room are only provided once, otherwise there is a charge. Breakfast was nice - cold and warm but limited compared to the other hotels we have been too. Most tables were occupied Parking is avaible and there is a charge. The staff were friendly and helpful.

« Good hotel with nice location »

Nevertheless the fact that we had a rather bad start where we could not get in the hotel at 11.30 PM, even at a point we had to call the police, I still find this hotel a good place to stay when you are in Aalst. The rooms are much bigger than the ones at Ibis, which we stayed before, and the location in the center of the city is just great. They offer parking, so no worries about the car.

« The big heart hotel »

My review will not fit into a 'normal' category, as I was forced to stay in Aalst, Belgium because my husband in intensive care in one of the city's hospitals. Best Western Premier Keisershof Hotel saved my sanity and my life. I would like to thank Jan de Clercq (foremost) and also Maaike, Marino, Siegrid and Gunther for making my existence in a foreign country so agreeable. The staff were expert in accommodating my wishes(including one for a wheelchair on Sunday night), using their upmost diplomatic skills( I had members of family and friends arriving any time of day and night to see my husband, sedated in the hospital) and being so humane - I was told by the hospital that my husband would die twice during my stay at the best Western Premier Keizershof. Just one illustration: when it became obvious that my husband will have to spend Christmas and New Year 2017 at the hospital, the hotel made a special, wonderful Christmas decoration, which was put into my room. Thank you to the bar staff, who worked very hard and the lovely cleaner, called Rosie, who told me to have courage, no matter what the hospital prediction were. My husband was transported back to England by an ambulance and had a very long time recovering, as he was suffering from numerous complications. Only now, six months after my eventful stay in the Best Western I've got time to write a review and thank the hotel, which was exceptional in every respect. The Best Best Western in Europe! Dr Olga Bridges PS Environmental rooms are wonderful, as they are next to a small gym and have got a very good wooden flooring

« Basic things done well but lacks finesse... »

Have stayed in this hotel a few times and it's a basic hotel that does the basic things well but somehow leaves a lot to be desired. Well located very close to the centre of Aalst the welcome was fine although I was in a rush to get to my room and the key didn't work first time around (grrrrr). Next issue came when I wanted to pay for my late lunch rather than put it on my room. I tried to pay in the bar but was told I had to go to reception. The one staff member was busy so it took an age to complete a simple transaction (grrrr again). The room was functional and clean and shower good. The gentleman who looks after the bar in the evening is very welcoming and professional. Otherwise not much to say except when in the hotel itself it feels like you are trapped in the 90's. Advise a stay of 2 nights max. Breakfast was adequate without being spectacular. Wifi included and worked well.

« The best thing about this Hotel - The Staff. »

I came here on a business trip, and was instantly surprised at how drab and bland the inside looked. Furnishings and decors seemed to pre-date the nineties. I didn't expect such standards from a Best Western Hotel. In every encounter with staff however I found them to be most helpful, polite and friendly. The room was mostly clean, but there were some annoying minor problems like: 1) No bottled water in the room, 2) The electric kettle cable was too short to be plugged in and needed to be placed on the floor. 3) The electric kettle needed to be filled with water from tap in bathroom 4) No milk in the coffee or tea condiments 5) Empty boxes for some of the personal hygiene accessories 6) No shower curtain to prevent the floor getting wet. 7)The trouser press barely worked. It was small details like this that gave me a poor opinion of the Hotel in general. It's saving grace was the always polite and attentive staff. Otherwise I would of scored this Hotel much lower than the 3 stars I gave it.

    « Better than expected »

In all honesty I am not a big fan of the Best Western chain. Nevertheless I was positively surprised this time and I enjoyed my short overnight business stay. The check in was warm and the room was ok. Bedding was a bit hard, but it is something you survive. It is not a hotel I would choice for a family vacation but for this purpose it was fine for me.

« Great location, good price quality »

The hotel is located in the centre of the city. It is very easily accessible and has a large car park. Getting in can be delayed since the front desk is not always manned. The rooms are well equiped, the beds are comfortable and the WiFi is what can be expected. The bathrooms are spacious but the shower is rather basic. The breakfast is also what can be expected for this kind of hotel. Meaning the buffet is ample enough but you get "machine orange juice" and "machine coffee". Conclusion: very well located in Aalst and a good price/quality ratio.

« Good location close to restaurants »

This hotel is really good to stay in and i got lucky with an upgrade to a junior suite this time. Location is great and Close to many good restaurants in Aalst. The only downside is that there is not any possibilty to get dinner in the hotel, snacks is available like for example sandwich. Nice bar area to sit and relax. Breakfas is quite ok most things are avaiable on the breakfast table. Pricewise i Think i could be a bit overpriced based on the room standard

« Perfect location for business training »

I attended a two-day training at this location. Great experience all in all: polite staff and tasty food (from breakfast and inbetween snacks to the warm meals at noon). The business-vibe is simply nice. Free parking in a city center is also a plus.

« Great hotel, excellent breakfast, good location, top service »

We were very pleasantly surprised when we stayed here en route across Europe. Great rooms, amazing breakfast, good value. Good car parking, centrally located in Aalst, close to the motorway between Brussel and Ghent

« Good comfortable hotel in Aalst »

Arrived very late as travelling by car and got stuck in the great bottleneck of Belgian traffic, but was greeted directly and welcomed to the hotel, check in was easy and I was guided to the secure underground car park below the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, a little dated in decor considering the lobby area but not unpleasant. Breakfast was OK, the hot items were few and far between and not very hot, but pleasant enough. I was literally in the hotel for about 10 hours and most of that was spent asleep, so it did exactly what is was supposed to do with no fuss!

« Been coming for years »

Been coming to this hotel for years. Have tried others but keep coming back here. Staff are warm and welcoming and rooms are clean and comfortable. Whilst they don't have a restaurant for dinner, there are plenty of options in the town just a few metres away. Breakfast is plentiful and typical for the area. Dropped a point as no dinner served, but that's all.

« Decent Hotel but No Restaurant for Evening Meals »

The only real option if you are staying in Aalst. It is a decent size hotel with gym facilities but no evening meal available. This is a problem in the winter months especially if it is raining. The hotel does provide a map of local restaurants bit fo a hotel this size it is really odd they do not provide evening meals. Breakfast is okay with a limited selection. Rooms are nice with coffee making facility provided. However room service is not the best. Itmes not regularly replenished and I wass charged for minibar items I had not used. Overall, a decent hotel for a business stay with some minor grumbles.

    « All good »

Nice hotel with good staff, only one thing I didn't like is no water in the room((. Other is perfect for business stay: good breakfast, towels, facilities, robes. Exactly in the center on city. Clean rooms, really big comfortable bed, cool coffee in the morning.

« best hotel in Aalst »

The Kaizershof hotel is located in the center of Aalst, a nice small town between Brussel and Gent. The hotel is quite comfortable, with width rooms and a good breakfast buffet. Just a remark... the Moquette on the floor ist not that new...

« Ok for a couple of nights »

I visited here on business, the hotel is nice, a little dated in places but overall it's clean and tidy. The staff are very welcoming and all very nice. The bedrooms are very basic and standard, classic dull hotel room, absolutely fine for a couple of nights but I wouldn't want to stay here for a holiday or stay for personal use. I think the bedrooms could do with a bit of a revamp. They don't serve food, but do offer a takeaway pizza service and a couple of other items. I didn't eat breakfast while I was there so cannot comment. Good location.

« Very comfortable business hotel just in the center of Aalst »

It is indeed very comfortable business hotel, wiht great internet connection for free in your room. Location couldn't be better than just in the downtown of Aalst, where just behind the corner you have access to many restaurants and cafes. Also hotel room service was very kind and helpful when i needed to arrange some food late night for myself. Avaiable coffee/tea set in your room as well.

« Not Your Average Best Western »

The hotel is in a great location, in the centre of the city of Aalst. Aalst tends to go to sleep quite early, however. Most shops close at 6 pm. I stayed here for three nights and had issues when I checked in because I was assigned a smoking room. When I rang the front desk, they told me they were fully booked and there was nothing they could do about it. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke and after making my way back to the reception desk, after some pleading, I was assigned a new room with a queen bed (first room had singles) that was smoke-free. For a Best Western, it truly is a step up. The bed was not very comfortable, more on the lumpy side, but the room was clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast was mediocre, better than nothing; it was the only meal I ate there. The staff were very friendly. I'd stay at this hotel again; it's good to set appropriate expectations. They work to keep everything in order; however, a friend did get stuck in the elevator for about 15 minutes.

    « Will stay again »

Located in the very centre of the city, in easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants. Very helpful staff at the reception, bar and breakfast. Very quiet and clean rooms, stayed for three nights on business and will stay on my next visit.

    « Decent business hotel »

A decent business hotel.Rooms are good. The staff is good. I really liked the Sauna facility. The breakfast Buffet was good. The market is really close to the hotel. The gym is pretty ordinary with just a tread mill and a cross trainer and no dumbbells. This is one of the best options in Aalst. However, I feel I feel the price is on the higher side.

    « Simple business hotel »

This is very simple business hotel, nothing less, nothing more. It is located very close to the pedestrian area with a lot of shops... Quite place, narrow corridors, rooms are on a small size with awkward windows. Mine was on the third floor with a inside view... Anyhow it is ok for a couple of nighte, apparently there are not too many hotels in Aalst There is very nice restaurant in Keizersplain street some 100 meters from the hotel...

    « Regular business Hotel »

Quite normal business hotel here. As for me it is 3 stars, not 4. Cleaning is good, rooms are simple, not modern. Good staff. No bath robes in rooms, you need to ask for them at the reception. And they don't have sockets next to bed, so it is really not comfortable to charge your mobile far from the place of your sleeping. For me fitness room or gym is important, they have 24 hours, but there only running machine, bicycle and ellyps. That's it. No even any Dumbbells or any gym machines... Only 3 cardio machines. No wifi in fitness room. Breakfast is good, location is great right in Center. What else? Wifi is great in your room. For business trip good but really bad for sportsmen(
