Best Western Plus York Hotel & Conference Center

Other than a few loud trucks and a few barks from a dog, hotel was quite. One of the better hotel beds we ever slept in. Breakfast tasty and lots of items although I might pass on the pancakes from the machine. Kids probably go for those.

The staff was extremely friendly and professional and make you feel welcome and comfortable. Hotel is clean in and out of the room. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Espresso machine was a real treat. Some gym equipment was broken and needing attention but wasn't a huge deal.

This hotel was unexpectedly pleasant!! I wasn't expecting too much from a best western, but I stayed here with my dog and the staff was nice, the place was really clean, the room was cozy, and the breakfast was way better than I expected with biscuits and gravy and many fun toppings for waffles!!

Pictures do not show the true story/conditon. Walking into the lobby I was pleased with the condition, but as soon as we got off the elevator and into our room I was not impressed. Water stains on the bathroom ceiling, tile missing from behind the toilet and rusty or hard water stains, bathtub had poor repair done to it. The shower head had a high pitched squeal for a while when you turned it on, which didn't go hand in hand with a sleeping 6 month old. Definitely would be paying an extra $50 or so to stay at the holiday inn or elsewhere.

I was given two rooms that were occupied by others and the place is absolutely disgusting!! The hinges fell out of the doors in one of the rooms we were in. The chair in my room was also ripped and dirty!

Always stay here when in York, NE. Very clean and wonderful beds. Staff is very accommodating. Nice that there is a Applebees restaurant connected to the hotel. Light in the bathroom was malfunctioning and it was fixed within 5 minutes.

I enjoy staying here, very nice people and a great breakfast. It's nice to have a restaurant on site as well. The room was nice and clean and everything worked well. Plenty of restaurants close by and a walmart.

For our trips to and from Colorado we always use the York Best Western as our half way stopping point. We love having the Applebee's right in the hotel after a long day of driving. The firm mattress worked well on our tired backs.

Completed online booking, easy access off the interstate and overall our one night stay was good. Easy check in, we were able to eat at Applebee's which is nice to have option right at the hotel. The room was clean, little odor when we walked into the room but bed was comfortable and we were on 1st floor. Breakfast the next morning was decent with several options.

Easy to get to right off the highway. Check-in was seamless and professional. Rooms were clean and AC worked great. I LOVED the Applebee's restaurant located IN the hotel. Seriously, ya'll, like RIGHT in the hotel! Full Applebee's menu with a bar area with TV's to watch the games. Amazing!

WIthout many options and getting late in the day, we opted for the BWP in York, NE for a nights rest on an XC road trip. It was certainly you get what you pay for, and was acceptable all things considered. The harsh lighting and old carpet in the public spaces didn't imbue comfort and confidence, but the rooms were quiet and clean - and the bedding wonderfully clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was better than expected with some fresh hot food options and a fair selection of other items.

the hotel needs updating for the price. The breakfast was substandard & guests gad to wait for eggs & biscuits. It is a great location & we have stayed there many times but needs a major update to justify the price

We've stayed in some excellent Best Western Plus properties. This is not one of them. The hotel is older, just south of I-80 and downtown York. There is a restaurant inside. Parking is free. The room was okay. Air conditioning worked well on one of the hot days of the year. The hotel shows its age. There has been some remodeling, and some of it looks good. Some of it could have used a good inspector to make the remodeling look better. Breakfast was below average. I don't know what they did to the eggs and don't want to know. The coffee machine was broken and we had to use another machine in the lobby where everybody was lined up. The room cost about $149. Too much for this kind of property in this location.

Stayed on the first floor of Best Western Plus. Carpet was damp and room moldy smelling. After first night was moved to another first floor room. It was not as smelly, but carpet was still damp. The staff's first idea was to spray air wick to get rid of the smell. We found this to be an unacceptable solution. They moved us to another room which was better but the carpet was still damp.

I thoroughly enjoyed that they had an Applebee's in the hotel but that was the best part. The room was not clean the bathroom was the worst it was just not a good room and I've been to many . The temperature was hard to control but one of the main things was is there's not enough plugs in the room when you travel with computers and such and the light for the clock was so bright it was hard to sleep.

Absolutely loved our stay. The room was amazing! The staff was so hospitable! We felt so welcome and didn't have to worry about anything. We needed more blankets and pillows (family of 7) and they were provided to us without hesitation. We were able to enjoy some time in the lounge while the kids slept. So relaxing! Breakfast was amazing. Every single element of our stay was fantastic and we will stay here every time we travel!

Very nice and helpful front staff and efficient check in process. Hotel is pet friendly which was needed as traveling with dog. Designated dog area needed mowing and there was a receptacle for dog waste but no bags. Luckily I did have my own but not everyone does. Hotel breakfast was satisfactory with typical offerings. Applebees on-site which was convenient.

First time staying but would stay again. Breakfast was very good with nice choices. Missed having orange juice though. May have been out by the time we ate. Room was spacious enough and beds were great.

We needed a layover on our trip home from Branson. York/Lincoln were about halfway. Even though York was about 40 min further after reading reviews we decided to stay at the York Best Western. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Check in and out were easy.

This was a quick overnight stay…. arrived about 11pm. Staff greeted us warmly, offered bottled water and was informative about breakfast. Hotel is in remodeling mode but everything was great. Breakfast had a large variety of foods.

Madison at the front desk was absolutely amazing in trying to help resolve an issue with payment processing for my online booking. She spent the better part of 2 hours with me while we both were on the phone trying to get the problem fixed. The epitome of superior customer service!

From checking in to checking out. Everyone was very friendly and wanted to make sure your stay was what was expected. Rooms were clean and had plenty of room for families to stay in. Applebee's wasn't open while we were there as it was Christmas. Pool was shut down foe air quality as they had a small fire in the laundry area. But, the lady at the desk was friendly and held her composure with all that was going on. Would stay here again

Overall it's decent. Bathroom in our room lock didn't work, shower curtain rod was loose. Used microwave and it tripped a fuse they fixed quickly. Pool was nice, air temperature could've been warmer(wear a hoodie). Fitness room didn't have rags to wipe machines, treadmill was very close to TV(incline didn't work), the Universal weights machine had cables that were fraying, a channel list would've been beneficial.

York Best Western is our hotel of choice to stay going to Husker games every season! Great, friendly Staff and the breakfast is always very good! Most importantly to us it is a clean hotel! It is also nice to have Applebee's in the hotel!

All of the female desk attendants were smiling and helpful. The young man with the beard, not so much. Monotone voice, no smile. Huffed when I asked for price of the room, I didn't know my Best Western ID #. Seemed put out that he had to check me in. He needs customer service training! Everything else about my stay was wonderful. I have stayed at this Best Western, several times over the years. It is clean, friendly and helpful....except for this young man.... The mattress was lumpy and hard making sleep difficult.....

Hotel is in a convenient spot, about 10 hours driving from where we live. I like the convenience of the restaurant connected to the hotel. Hotel is right by the freeway. We have stayed here several times before. This hotel has slipped a bit. It is in need of some renovations to bring it back to BW standards. Overall it was clean and had efficient and friendly staff.

Very nice. During the summer of 2022 they experienced a lot of hail damage but are doing their best to repair it. The one warning is to get a room on the side of the hotel away from the highway. The trucks getting off the exit ramp use their engines to brake and it is noisy.

The room was filthy. The beds have plastic lines on them that are ripped and hang out from the bed. The bed looked like it was made by a child. The furniture was Dusty. Trash was on the floor around the bathroom trash can. The draperies were torn and did not cover the windows for sufficient privacy. The refrigerator had to be unplugged because of the lid ticking sound it made, making it impossible to sleep. The entire hotel smells like a urinal cake. There was no shower curtain. Overall filthy and in poor working order. The restarting was nearly unoccupied, but still had a1 hour wait.

Older facility with dated decor. Attached restaurant was understaffed and closed at 8:30, although their posted closing was 11PM. Check in was prompt and efficient. Allows pets in all rooms, which is a big negative for us.

Great Room and best breakfast we have had at motel all year. Friendly helpful staff. Easy on and off interstate. Applebee's in motel building. Great value for the price. I would definitely stay at this Best Western Plus when traveling thru Nebraska again.

Groups beware!! If I could give this zero stars, I would - I can't say I've ever been more disappointed in a hotel. We were part of a large wedding block that stayed in this hotel - our immediate family alone had 3 rooms, booked for 2 nights back in March - 6 months before the event. We showed up Friday night before the Saturday wedding to be informed we had 3 rooms for only one night, and they were full the second night. Then, we were told by one staff member that this had happened to a lot of people in our block?! A possible system glitch she said. Not only this issue occurred though as the majority of the wedding party's rooms were not ready for 3 pm check in and would not be ready in time for them to shower and get ready for the 6 pm rehearsal supper. This included the bride and groom!! We didn't know until 10 am the following morning if we were going to even have a place to stay the night of the wedding?! The Friday night staff at the front desk consisted of two people, one of whom was incredibly rude and hostile. I travel frequently with a large company and assist in plannings events. I can say with all certainty that I will NEVER stay in or recommend this hotel to anyone. Losing trust in having a safe and hospitable stay will make me question utilizing the Best Western brand ever again.

There was a hot breakfast available with many choices. The hostess made sure everything remained fill and hot if it needed to be. The restaurant was an added convenience as we diid not have to drive to look for a place to eat.

We were 30 mins early to check in, in a hurry to make the game. The lady at the front desk told us that she could not give us our keys because she did not know if the room was clean. Rather then find out she just continued to sit at the front desk. we asked her multiple times since we needed to change and unload our vehicle, she just continued to ignore us. So we then went into the restaurant to have a beer while we wait and it took the entire wait for our room for us to get our tap beers since the bartender was having a conversation with someone at the bar rather than serving all the customers.

Stayed one night while traveling. Super convenient location right off of I-80 with an Applebees restaurant on the 1st floor. All of the staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional and the breakfast was excellent. Very clean facility. Would defiantly stay here again. Thank you!

This is a really nice Best Western. There is an Applebee's Restaurant in the building though we didn't dine there. A really good breakfast and a nice pool where we swam some laps in the morning. There was a large bus group there the same night as us but the staff did a great job.

The property is very clean. The staff was amazing. Very helpful in every aspect of our stay. We were having a small family reunion and they were so accommodating to our every need. We booked again for next year.

Nice stay at this hotel right off of I-80. Rooms were very clean, staff was very efficnet and helpful. Applebees restaurant attached to the hotel. Many menu items to choose from. Costs were reasonably moderate. Other restauarnts located a very short distance from the hotel. Hotel and surrons were very peaceful and quiet.

Conveniently located near to I-80. First room had non-working A/C and phone. Front desk staff quickly changed me to a nearby room where everything was operational. Easy access to gas stations, fast food restaurants, Walmart. Nothing special, but perfect location for my needs.

The hotel was clean and reasonably priced. Very quiet for as busy as they were. It was lovely having Applebees attached so my daughter didn't have to get back in the car. The part that made this stay so memorable was the staff! My daughter left her security blanket and they went above and beyond to help us get such a special item back even though having forgotten it was all our oversight and none of theirs.

Definitely a disappointment for a Best Western. Was old and outdated. Room smelled musty moldy with chemicals trying to cover it up. The carpet was wet around the air conditioner. I did tell the front desk and they didn't seem to care. The only bright spot was the breakfast. It was clean, food was hot and well stocked.

When I walked in the room it smelled musty. Found out why … at 2am woke up to rain streaming in the window. Told the front desk about it in the morning and barely got a response. From the look of all the windows from the outside it is a common occurrence.

This place is very well run with friendly staff and great extras. We stayed the on a road trip to Arizona and need a clean and quiet spot to rest after driving all day. This place exceeded our expectations with a pool and restaurant connected.

I stayed on Tuesday, June 14. All the carpeting in the hallways needs to be replaced, lots of deferred maintenance, furnishings outdated and no USB receptacles for digital devices. Curtains and bedding not in good condition. Room had a funky musty smell to it. Refrigerator was so cold it froze soda and food left in it overnight. Not recommended.

4 star hotel- 1 star bed= 3 star rating. Easy access from i80. Large parking lot. Great look and style. Pool was large and open 6a-11p.The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was excellent. Hot eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, and pancakes. The bad was the bed. Its hard like plywood. Had to sleep on top of the covers to have any sense of soft. Would have given higher rating with a better bed.

We stayed at the BW York Hotel for 1 night as we traveled from the east coast to the West Coast. This property was much better than most we've used. During our stay, the hotel was very busy because there was a girls softball team(s) also staying at the hotel. This was not a problem, but I think it taxed the hotel when I was there.

Our room had a foul odor, sticky & dirty bathroom floor and something had been spilled on the bottom of the bed skirt and not been cleaned. Mold obviously there as the smell was so bad. Bath mat was draped over the tub and when I lifted it up to put on the dirty floor to have something to stand on there was old water all over the edge. Nasty place.

After a long day at the softball fields coming to the hotel to find the room clean and the beds and pillows were amazing! Breakfast was good. The pancake maker was simple, quick and tasted great. We will stay again.

This location has an Applebee's in it and it always great as well as convenient. Stay here twice a year for multiple nights each time, have always had an excellent experience, last stay could would have been better without a flamboyant agenda being pushed on at check in desk though.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a conference. As I was one of the conference co-chairs I had registered for a king room in-person when booking meeting rooms. Sadly a snafu occurred and the reservation was lost, so when I arrived to check-in I didn't have a room and that particular weekend the hotel was almost full. The staff, though swamped at the check-in desk, worked to find me a room. Staff throughout our conference was attentive, courteous and responsive to our needs.

Stopped here on the way back to the midwest from AZ. Our room as quiet, but smelled very musty. The staff were very kind and responsive to any questions we had. Appeared the room was cleaned adequately. Our room had a fridge and microwave which were nice for heating up some snacks after a long day of driving. The breakfast was very nice and complete.

I had a drunk wedding guest knock on my door and try to get in thinking it was his room in the middle of the night, I called the front desk and Michael came to my rescue. In a time of panic, Michael was calm and got to my room right away. I want to thank Michael for all that he did Saturday night. He dis-escalated the situation and then called me back to say it was handled. Thank you Michael!

Hotel clean, took extra precaution to keep room sanitized. Room was clean, comfy and quiet. All appliances worked had no issues. Would stay with again and have. Attached restaurant is nice feature as you can take food back to room under current Covid19 circumstances.

Front desk service was polite and friendly. Pets are evidently allowed judging from the huge bowl of dog biscuits in the lobby but we saw no evidence of any. Better yet, couldn't smell them. Room and bathroom were clean. Free water for rewards members.

The hotel was slightly dated, but the room was nice. The bed was very comfy, the TV worked great. The tub however, had clogged drain. If the staff cleaned the tub which I doubt, they would have known about it and ignored it... not cool! Oh, and if they vacuumed, they missed the quarter next to the bed. Thanks! Breakfast was good, except for the eggs which are powdered, not fresh.

Friendly staff! We stayed in a king-sized bed room, it was super clean, large and had a bathtub! We love a relaxing bath! The hot breakfast was excellent with a large breakfast dining area so no waiting for a table.

Nice Hotel with a well maintained indoor pool, well equipped fitness center, really good breakfast with little omelets, waffle and pancake machine. Very comfortable room and bed. Neat and tidy grounds.

This is among the best hotels we've stayed at in the past year. The service was excellent. The attached Applebee's restaurant was very convenient and the service was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel

If you want to stay in a hotel where there is screaming music where the management/front desk will treat you very disrespectfully for asking them to shut the doors to the room. I'm on the opposite side of the “party” room and no sleep happening due to the refusal to perform a simple task to help km sure more than just me sleep. It's the owners party but your can't ask them anything because they do not understand you literally. No disrespect to anyone of any ethnicity but this hotel owner is a joke!

Our room was at the end of a very long hallway. The room was clean and comfortable. The room with a king bed had a nice chair and ottoman, along with a desk and chair. My only issue was that the mini refrigerator wasn't cold. The items we put in there actually got warmer.

Exit door adjoining room always ajar, allowing mosquitoes in room; bathroom fan always on is annoying; shoddy bathroom tile job. Otherwise OK for value, etc., but these issues were certainly offputting.

This was my first time passing through Nebraska and I got in pretty late to the hotel. They have an Applebee's restaurant in the hotel lobby which would have been great to eat at if I was there earlier. I'll definitely be staying here again and the breakfast was one of the best I've had on the road thanks so much!

Rooms were nice and the people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and they kept everything full. Could of used some pastries with breakfast. All in all was a pretty great breakfast.

It is uncertain how this hotel is considered a 3 star hotel. Our room was not clean. The carpet needed swept and all of the furniture needed dusted. Our refrigerator had gunk that had been there for a long time. The curtains were beyond filthy. The entire hotel needs updating. If the room was then unclean I am certain it was not sanitized either. The mattress on bed was completely worn out. It sloped so bad from the middle to the side you had to be careful not to roll out of it. Awful. I would not recommend this to anyone.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. The location is excellent along the interstate. Several restaurants are very close by, including the Applebee's on sight. Service at the hotel is always very good. Breakfast is also included in the price and always good with fresh fruit and numerous options.

The furniture was a little worn but the room was all we really needed. Great breakfast area. There is an Applebee's restaurant on site. The staff at the hotel and the restaurant were very friendly.We would stay there again if we were ever in the area.

So disappointed in Best Western. This hotel was filthy, carpeting on stairs, hallways and our room was disgusting. Wrinkled sheets, leaking bathroom faucet, no coffee at complimentary breakfast & curdled milk in the cooler, which they already knew about but didn't remove!

Everything was great. The room, services and amenities were excellent. We had an awesome stay. I would recommend and stay here again on my next visit to Nebraska. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious.

We stayed here for a friend's wedding. The lobby was very warm and welcoming, but once we walked back to the area where our room was- we were hit with the smell that could only be described as a men's bathroom at a truck stop. It was also extremely humid- so much so that the carpet felt damp. Whenever I get to a hotel, I immediately check the beds for bed bugs. While there were none, I did find that our sheets had dirt all over them and were completely wrinkled. Looked like they just remade the bed after the last people checked out. Nothing was very clean. Luckily I requested some new sheets and these were much cleaner than the last. My husband and I (along with others who attended the same wedding) agreed we would never stay here again.

The Applebee's is a plus. Check in was dismal. Didn't get a wifi code and wasn't told about breakfast. I found out by happenstance. Bed comfy enough. This place is huge. Fitness area was nice with good equipment. Low flow shower head took 3x as long to shower.

Clean comfy bed and pillows, spacious room, good breakfast. Workout area available 24 hours. Easy access for our dog. Restaurant on site (Applebee's) was adequate for our needs. Overall good place to stop for the night.

We stayed at this hotel on our way from Denver to Indiana. The hotel staff was friendly and we were able to have our dog with us. The Applebees in the hotel lobby was a bonus. The beds could use updating as it was a very bouncy box spring where you could feel every little move of anyone in the bed with you. I would stay here again if they were updated. The ac was cold but did not circulate very well. I went to the front desk to ask for a fan and was brought one. This was a huge help and made our room a comfortable sleep rather than sweaty and miserable.

This probably is the best best western we have stayed in! Nothing fancy and an older building, but well kept and clean. The breakfast area was spacious with tables available in an outdoor courtyard. Easy in and out via a stoplight. We so appreciated the in-house Applebee's. We will stay there again.

You cannot rate this a BW Plus hotel. If it was a regular one, I'd maybe give it a 3+. It definitely needs an updating as it is an older hotel that hadn't been well maintained. The bathroom was somewhat clean. The tub was very slippery(OLD) and the this first time I've ever had to use a shower mat. The air conditioning unit sounded like a truck reviving up every time it started to cool. On the upside, the towels were new, & fluffy and the bed was quite comfortable. The sheets and linens were nice too. It was good to see the hotel totally booked with travelers, and for the amount of people in the hotel, it was fairly quiet! Check in was fairly easy and for the weary traveler, having the Applebee's in the hotel is an asset.

Room was spacious and clean. I knocked off a star because I didn't really like the plastic mattress it was crunchy sounding. I understand why they have it just not my kind of bed. Overall it's a great place to stay. They have breakfast and an Applebee's located inside the hotel.

This was a stay driving cross country. This property is well maintained and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We did not eat the breakfast for we left early in the morning. The staff as kind and accommodating. It was a busy hotel and our room was not available for an hour after we arrived (I would assume this is not a regular issue). Overall the hotel is a decent value and I would recommend staying if you are traveling through Nebraska.

Check in was quick n easy. Popped in at the Applebee's had a good meal n went to bed. Room was nice, clean, n quite. Their breakfast was better then most hotels. They had cereal, bread, juice, eggs, sausage, and pancakes. They do need a bigger parking area. We would stop there again.

Rooms were dirty and light fixtures broke. Breakfast was ok. I understand the area is selective with hotels but this BW should be held to the same standards as all other BW hotels. Having the Applebee's connected to the hotel is a plus.

The front desk staff were not helpful. I was charged for an extra room that I did not reserve. The room had a very strong odor and the bathtubs are a fall risk. The only good thing about our stay was or experience at the Applebee's located in the lobby.

We had a very good stay here on a Thursday night. This is a very good location, at the junction of 81 Highway and Interstate 80. Gas station right across the street. Applebees Restaurant right in the lobby. So convenient. Our check in was very friendly and really fast. Our room was clean. We had a room facing 81 Highway and got to park right underneath our window. We were not bothered at all by traffic sounds. We felt safe. There was no noise at night. We did not try breakfast or the pool as we were in a hurry. We would stay here again!

The walls and ceiling in the room were cracked and peeling. There was a clump of hair in the drain to the tub. Really kind of a gross stay. Not sure how this could have been classified as a BW Plus. BW at best, probably not even that.

The location of this hotel was great! It is situated right off the York exit on I80, which made it perfect for us. The staff were very friendly and accomidating. However, our bathroom was dirty upon check in and there was no shampoo. A staff member was able to hunt some down for us in a timely manner though. The windows are old and allow for a lot of noise to be heard from the interstate and we were barely able to see out of them. We went down early for breakfast both days and the pancake machine was always out of batter and made it hard for my family to have a nice hot breakfast so we mostly stuck with cereal and bagels. The juice machine was broken which was also a bit of a disappointment, however the staff did offered ice water and there were cartons of milk. My children enjoyed the pool, but the staff rarely kept up with stocking the pool towels for guests. Overall, the stay was good but I'm not sure it would be our first pick if we were coming back to York.

Just an overnight stay while traveling on the road. Room was VERY clean and nice! Free breakfast was good. We had our 2 dogs with us and it couldn't have been more dog friendly! Doors leading outside were conveniently located for walking the dogs and plenty of space/grass for them!

A good midway stop when visiting our children in CO or when meeting to pick up or return grandchildren to their parent. Has food and activities to entertain children for one night. Easy to get breakfast for them with a variety of choices. We have used this hotel as a halfway overnight for several years. We have always found the services very accommodating.

we travel a lot as we are winter Texans. This was the first time staying at a best Western we usually stay at La Quinta because of pets. They had a nice hot breakfast even during Covid! Would highly recommend the location and had a great dog walking area! Also has an Applebee's attached which is awesome versus fast food when traveling!

Stopped in on my way west about 9:30p on a Sunday, Was greeted by a nice lady behind the screen, she gave me a nice room facing the the freeway, I was an older hotel, well worn, but the room was clean, and has an Applebee's there also, my only complaint was since my room face the freeway and all night I was woken to the Semi's engine braking, also winding up to get on the freeway.. They had a full breakfast, I didnt partake, since I left at 5a

We stayed in a suite. Nice jacuzzi tub after a long day of traveling. Our daughter stayed with us the sleeper sofa had a nice memory foam mattress on it and was a large bed. Applebee's is conveniently located in hotel lobby.

We made a stop at the Best Western in York as part of a family-fun trip. We loved the pool as it was VERY warm. We had it all to ourselves and I loved the fact that the pool towels were on site at the pool. The staff was helpful and kind and everything seemed cleaned. Thank you, Best Western!!

When traveling to visit family and friends we always plan our travels to stay at this Best Western facility. We have never had a bad experience, and staff is always courteous and helpful. The facility is always clean and updated.

Stayed for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly. Good breakfast menu. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay again. The hotel is also pet friendly but I did not bring my dog.

Excellent service, breakfast was very delicious, love the fireplace and the Rooms were very clean. I love the smoke free policy because of my kids and my 3 month old son. Excellent employees, very nice and helpful. highly recommend this hotel.

We would highly recommend staying at Best Western Plus and Conference Center. The room was VERY clean! The continental breakfast was AMAZING, even with Covid precautions. And, they were EXTREMELY helpful and kind regarding our reservation, which got mixed up on Priceline, due to the time of night when we made the reservation. I would highly recommend this hotel. Our only regret was that we weren't able to stay longer, due to needing to get to a funeral. They do a great job!!

Super friendly staff! Applebee's is Applebee's. Clean is clean up to date. Easy check in. Free breakfast. Waaaaay better then the motel 6! This place is $20 more then motel 6, I would pay $100 more! Don't stay on motel 6 next door, you will get high from the weed smoke filled hallways.

I'm traveling to a family member's funeral. After almost 12 hours, I pulled over to research local hotel ratings, and selected BW based on reviews. If I hadn't just picked up disinfectant wipes, I would've gone to the front desk and told them to give my money back, I'd rather sleep in my car. If this is number 1 in York, the rest would scare me! The toilet seat was up like it has just been used by a thoughtless man. The toilet paper wasn't folded to signify the toilet had been cleaned, and the seat so “discolored” I washed it with a wash cloth before I would use it! The toilet refilled itself ever 10 minutes. The edge of the carpet was so filthy, I took a video. The picture is of 1 of many food crumbs that were along the base of the walls, left behind god only knows how many cleanings ago. If this is how the best western cleans during Covid, I shutter to think how filthy it was pre-Covid. If you're reading this prior to booking, give one of the other hotels in York a try. There's no was this hotel is worth $95/night!

The check in attendant was the only good about this place. As a woman traveling alone I must say that the dimly lit hallways and stairways are terrifying. I was traveling with my dog and had a pet room. I walked into the room and was immediately hit in the face with the smell. There was yellow stains on the walls. I spent all of about 5 minutes in there and left. I didn't complain I just left and went to a different hotel that was much better. Now though I'm out money for a hotel room I didn't use and a pet cleaning fee I found laughable after seeing and smelling the state of that room. Apparently they are not using that to actually clean these rooms.

Clean lobby. Large room. Felt the room was clean and sanitized. Bed was comfortable. Rooms were quiet.Convenient location just south of I80. Nice breakfast area and service person. I will stay here again.

Supposedly precautions are being taken, but neither the night or the morning clerk at the front desk was wearing a mask. (There was a plexi-glass shield, but it was only at the center of the counter). Guests congregating, sitting in lobby in front of the television screen were not wearing masks. Two of three cleaning staff were wearing masks; the one who came up to me and asked me if I was checking out was not. Room fine, parking lot well lit. Convenient for a late night stop on interstate 80. If you take Covid safety precautions seriously, don't stay here. (And when I stayed here, Nebraska was experiencing a spike)

Great rooms, good amenities, particularly hospitable staff. My only criticism is that the cranberry juice at the continental breakfast seemed watered down. It was a very comfortable place to spend a night.

One of the treats of staying at Best Westerns is Breakfast, and now due to Covid restrictions, thats given way to packaged junk. Hard to rate the staff interaction. Greeting was good and efficient but checkout was iffy because you cant hear thru the Plexiglass.

We always look for places with truck parking and this place has it \\0/ We've decided as semi-retired truckers we will get rooms, when we have to lay over for a load, with a king sized bed. We had a great room, every one was friendly and had a nice, limited breakfast. Plus they have an Applebee's on sight so we had a fabulous meal. Hopefully we can stay here again!

This hotel was easily accessible from the highway. The breakfast was great even during the pandemic. The hotel is a little dated on the outside, but rooms have been updated. Would recommend when staying in York or when traveling through.

This was a large facility. It was very clean. It does need updating. We did utilize the pool area which was also very clean. I stay at numerous hotels in mid America. We were disappointed that Applebee's restaurant was not open. Hopefully they are back in service soon.

Stopped in after a long day of traveling. Service was great. Room was clean and the pool was even better. The breakfast was good and limited due to Covid but it still filled us up. The staff were friendly and kept it clean.

York and its Best Western exceeded our expectations on a roadside stop via Interstate traveling. The experience at check in and check out were ridiculously simple, straightforward, and professional, and the room was a beaut'. The room, including bathroom, lay out was traditional and clean, and this was the only breakfast buffet attempt we saw during our trip simultaneous to the pandemic, which we gave them a lot of credit for attempting as it was only a portion of what we expect their normal buffet to be. The morning coffee and cereal was great and they offered a diversity of take-out pastry options. There's also an Applebees in-house, so one doesn't need to delve deep into York to find dinner and a drink after a long day of interestate driving. I give these folks a lot of credit for their straightforward kindness and professionalism. Finally, we didn't hear a peep all night, and we slept on the first floor; no problem falling asleep! Keep up the good work!

Our room was 146 and it is located next to something really noisy that makes a thunder-like noise all night long. Also the outside light is right above the window and the curtains don't close all the way. Between the bright room and loud noises, I got barely any sleep. Also, the pillows are little squares. Not even regular small pillows. Very uncomfortable. On the plus side, the room was very clean, smelled good, had a fridge and microwave, and the front desk lady was super friendly and none of the bad stuff is her fault. They need new pillows and better curtains at the very least though. Not worth the 100 bucks I paid for the room.

Was assigned room 129. For a Best Western Plus rooms are very outdated and need to be remodeled. Before I went to bed I noticed black mold on the ceiling above the window by the curtain. Was suppose to be an express check out but invoice was never put under the door. When I went to the front desk in the morning I had to wait 10 minutes until someone showed up. When she did finally show up she just kept yawning (about 6 times) without covering her mouth. Hard to believe this is a Best Western Plus. The plus should be taken away.

The Best Western,York, was very clean, spacious and definitely worth the extra few dollars paid over the price of nearby budget hotels. Comfy pillows and bed. The restaurant in the lobby was very tasty (chicken broccoli alfredo and the Brunch Burger) and service was great. Hotel manager often visible, treating staff well, as they were often seen wiping things down. We will be putting this hotel on our AZ/MN "flight path" for future trips.

I spend much of my after retirement winters in the Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas area . When returning to my home in Canada , York is a welcomed destination after a full day of driving. The York BestWestern has great staff a great restaurant & lounge in the hotel lobby, it's right on the HWY 81 coming in from the south on the edge of the city. Stayed here while visiting relatives in area. Stayed at less expensive places in same area but was usually disappointed with accommodations,not so when I stayed here was very happy with our stay and will be returning.

It was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed breakfast and the comfterbal bed! The staff was cery friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying again when we pass through York Nebraska. Easy access to the highway so you can get up and take off in the morning!

We stayed for one night on our travels. Location was great, price was fair and restaurant attached, Good breakfast provided in the morning. Would recommend. The hotel is right on the 81 south so easy to get in and out of.

This hotel is right off the highway this hotel is clean, comfortable and perfect for those of us on the road. We found the staff friendly and the breakfast with lots of good choices, terrific. Overall, easy peasy!

We always love staying at the Best Western plus when we visit out daughter at York College. It is located right off the highway and convenient to access 1-80. We love taking advantage of our Best Western membership and earning free night stays.

Nice breakfast, lots of options. Big pool area and water was warm, first room had odor, 2nd room was ok. Staff was always running around and no one Front desk. Overall pretty clean, and would stay again.

Friendly staff - breakfast was better than average - Restaurant - less than average. Convenience of the restaurant but the food was less than average. slow service, food was average and host / hostess was not up to par. The manager needed to be less friendly to the host and hostess and more attentive to the customers at the door.

Very nice hotel with an Applebee's restaurant inside. Rooms were reasonably priced and clean. No jacuzzi but it did have a nice pool. Having a restaurant was convenient to get a quick bite to eat to take back to our room. The continental breakfast only gets 2 stars however. The eggs were horrible and the biscuits cold and hard and the sausage gravy was basically tasteless. Considering the proximity to the interstate and a truck stop across the highway, the rooms were very quiet. Will definitely stay again.

Restaurant onsite was a big reason why we stayed. The weather was less than ideal and we were looking for a warm room and hot food. This place had both! Staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was great.

This facility is one that we use frequently, it's midway between Oklahoma and western South Dakota. It has good location, price is good, the Environment Is friendly, rooms are very clean and the morning breakfast is very good.

The BEST thing about this #1 rated place in York is that it has an Applebee's. Let me say it needs a remodel too but we really enjoyed the Appetizer Sampler we had. We also found the staff we interacted with friendly and helpful. That said: the beds were hard and the heating system sounded like an airplane revving up for takeoff right in our room. It's odd to complain about the tub but the floor was so curved it was uncomfortable to stand in. When I grabbed my towel the corner of the towel touched the baseboard and a whole tile fell off! Breakfast was a 1 out of 5. I had tasteless oatmeal and my husband says the sausages were the worst he's ever had.

I have stayed here on many occasions and have always received the best in service. I still call after all these years and end up talking to staff who have been there for some time. They clean our room very well and do the little things that matter. Great Job!!!

Really nice rooms and very friendly staff. Last minute reservation but extremely pleased. Will definitely stay there again. We have already recommended this site to friends and plan to stay again ourselves.

Often while traveling you never know what you will encounter when making a decision to stay over night at the last minute. This was a stop well worth it an will make an effort to stay here again while traveling. The staff-food and services were fantastic. The room was clean and quite considering the hotel was completely full. They even had bottled water by the in room coffee pot so I didn't have to use the city water.

Breakfast good.waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon, ready-made omelets, cereal, fruit, muffins, and usual drinks. Room large and clean. Bed was comfortable. Michelle at front desk very helpful. Got 1st floor which is appreciated due to age.

The best Best Western I have ever stayed in! Super clean and fresh,very comfy bed, and there was an Applebees restaurant right inside! Very convenient at the end of a long day on the road. Would certainly stay at this hotel any time I am in the area.

Older unit with unkept parking and outdide area. You are in Corn field country and kinda expect this. Room was clean, good quality bed, and linens. Very good breakfast included in the price. Not quite up to PLUS standards, should be labeled just a Best Western.

One of the best breakfast buffet on our trip, lots of options, pancake machine made fresh hot tasty pancakes with strawberries and whip cream. Friendly staff. Clean room. Overall a nice place to spend the night

This is our place to stay when traveling to Lincoln for Husker games. Great hotel, never been disappointed! This last visit they even upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite for free! We highly recommend this hotel!!

The first room smelled of a smoker and the chemicals used to cover it up. The second room had a broken knob in the refrigerator, so it did not work at all. This would have been hard to miss when cleaning the room. The carpet was dirty. But most importantly, the hotel doors are left open for Applebees patrons to enter, thus leaving the rooms accessible. The side (north?) door was slow to close, leaving hotel rooms accessible to others from the outside. The breakfast lacked very many healthy, low calorie or low sodium choices. Not even bananas. We will not return.

We paid a $20 extra fee for a "pet friendly" room. The room smelled terrible, the carpet was damp, the furniture looked like chewed up remnants from someone's basement, and the bathroom was not clean. The hotel lobby is dominated by Applebee's patrons coming and going; not at all welcoming and nowhere to sit or relax. My room totaled over $150 with the very high tax and pet fee, what a rip-off! I would never stay here again.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews because we don't usually choose this hotel chain. But it was way better than the competition where we have also stayed. Everything was good and clean and nice. One thing we really liked was having a chain restaurant of good quality, Applebees, inside. It was nice after a weary day of travel to just walk down the hall to eat. I peeked at the pool and that looked quite nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Motel is easy access from interstate. Accommodations acceptable personnel were pleasant at the front desk. The room was clean and well ventilated. My wife fell getting out of shower. Didn't see bath Matt that was provided. This was no fault of motel. I explained that she had fallen and pulled down the plastic shower curtain and snapped off the toilet seat when I checked out in the AM. The gal at desk didn't ask " is she alright, or is she ok"???? Nothing.... This might be how they're trained. Corporate is always worried about law suits and being liable. Who could know...I wasn't trying to place fault on them....we'll see if we get charged for shower curtain, and toilet seat. i have booked another night on our way home. Note; there is a APPLE BEES on premises. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. Hats of to best western.......

The hotel is only 2 stories. The layout is a bit wonky, but nice wide hallways. We noticed the parking lot was full when we returned from the wedding we attended, but we never heard another guest in the hall or near our room. The place could have been abandoned for how quiet it was. One elevator is right near the front desk. Our room, 265, was a bit of a jaunt from the elevator but close to set of stairs that led to the parking lot so leaving was convenient. We stayed in a king room. Bed was very comfortable for people used to a firm latex mattress. Pillows were softer than I like but 6 were provided. Everything smelled clean, bath had no dirty spots, towels or curtain. I didn't bother with pics as my room would have looked like sample pics. Nothing other than what I would expect regarding room condition. Tv was large and there was free HBO. Fridge was cold and nice selection of coffees provided. (There is a coffee bar set up right in lobby for those who like a cup in the evening too). Our friends had one of the whirlpool suites and we walked through it. The bath tub is RIGHT by the door to the bedroom. However, the room has 2 doors, so if people enter via the other door, they walk into a tiny kitchenette and a room with a sleeper sofa and tv. There is a door that allows entrance into the bedroom and then bathtub is out of sight from that door. There is another bath on the side with the sofa. There was a ton of room in this suite. A family of four should be completely comfortable in this room without feeling like they are on top of one another. Pair that with the price my friend paid in advance (less than $120) it was a great deal. Breakfast bar seating area feels tight, but they do open up a room just around the corner for plenty more seats. There was both a waffle iron and a pancake machine (with whip cream and a variety of syrups). Hot sausage, gravy and biscuits, small omelets with either cheese or cheese and veggies. Bread items, fruit, cereals, drinks of all kinds. It was actually a little overwhelming compared to some of the simpler one I've been to in the last year. Staff was polite. A little unusual, we didn't see any cleaning crew as we prepared to leave around 9 or 9:30am. I'm used to places where you will see a cleaning cart in the hall by 8am. Kinda nice to not feel rushed. One note, I did not find a receipt under the door in morning nor did I see one in my inbox. I'm hoping that there are no issues with billing.

Easy to check in/out. Amazing breakfast with a variety to choose from. Food always stocked and never low. As a vegetarian, I was impressed with selections! It was very humid outside and there was rain. Felt like some hallways were a little damp, but other than that the rooms temp was comfortable.

This is such a nice BW. The rooms are lovely and comfy, good wi-fi and the breakfast was really good - nice selection, waffles with fruit and whip cream, cinnamon swirl bread for toast along with the usual choices, etc. And their staff is so friendly and helpful. Mark, Gerry and Holly all went above and beyond in being cheerful and helpful to weary travelers. Definitely a place we'll stay again when we're near York, Nebraska.

Clean, affordable, friendly staff, decent beds offered during my stay. Applebees located on sight is a plus! Great breakfast that's included. Used their ballroom for business and it was a great feature.

The Hotel was clean and the entire staff was wonderful. The staff went out of their way to be sure all of our needs were met. The standard room we had with a king bed was very large and comfortable. We have had our family reunion there for the last 3 years and it gets better every year. We rented the Cornhusker room so that we had a place to accommodate all of our people during the weekend and it was well worth it. I would highly recommend this hotel for their group gatherings. Having the Applebee's restaurant inside the hotel is a wonderful bonus.

Do not get a room in the north wing facing the highway. Trucks engine braking and accelerating on the ramp are going all night. Room was clean but no convenient plugs for recharging or cpap made it hard to keep track of all my devices. Breakfast was very good.

My family lives in the area so i stay here from time to time and the hotel is always clean and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. You get a free breakfast in the morning and my brother appeared early and the staff had no problem with him having breakfast with me. There is an Applebees in the hotel so food and drink is readily available. The rooms are quiet and clean. Great place to stay

Hotel was nice especially with Applebee's in the hotel. Rooms were clean but floor was wet especially around ac. A few knats in room. Could not sample breakfast because it stopped at 930 and we were not ready.

Hotel was a little more worn than the online pictures indicate. The layout was a bit odd. Breakfast was amazing!! Staff told a group of 4 adults that they could not gather (talk) in the lobby. They were told to go to their rooms. Ridiculous.

Checkin was prompt. The room was very clean. Pool and breakfast area were big and well taken care of. Price was very reasonable. Lots to choose from for breakfast. Wished it would have had a hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed one night. I was afraid they had no rooms because the parking lot was full. But it was full because of the Applebees restaurant inside. The gentleman had us checked in quickly. There is an elevator available. I had no problem parking once i was checked in. There are a few fast food restaurants nearby. The room was nice and big. The breakfast was delicious. I was happy with our stay. We felt safe at all times. They have camera surveillance in the parking lot.

I had a late check in. I was echausted and staff immediately checked me in. Helped eith all my needs & offered suggestions to make my overnight enjoyable. Really good service all around. Extremely clean. Amenities all top quality. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud & lots of pillows! Yes pillows! Applebee's restaurant attached offers easy take out for guests. Breakfast was excellent and lots of options for meat eaters, vegetarians, picky eaters. Great easy location near highway and last Starbucks coffee, just down the road for those who must have their last cup of great cappuccino while driving west on I80. Pool & fitness & business centers well maintained and environments healthy. I'll stay here again.

Perfect for weary travelor. Easy access, quick checkin, spacious room that is clean, attractive and comfortable. Very quiet. Breakfast was good, includes options that are healthy. Rooms on 2nd floor away from hwy and parking lot were very quiet.

Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. Our bed mattress was not the best and kind of saggy. The breakfast was good and they have a nice indoor pool. I liked they have a connected restaurant, but I didn't like that the music was so loud and annoying.

My stay was fine. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The location just off the highway and the on site restaurant made for a very convieniant stay. The only issue was, the room looked a little worn. However it was clean and everything worked. This is good place to stay and priced reasonably.

Very nice Best Western with great location, breakfast, comfortable beds, clean, flat screen TV, microwave, coffee maker, fridge. And remote with sleep timer! Love that! We would definitely stay here again. My only complaint, not plugin in space for chargers. The was an alarm clock device in our room with charging plugs on top, but it didn't work. Also, there was a little Street noise in our room. It didn't keep me up. A room away from the street might be quieter

We stayed 2 nights as we were their for meetings. Our room was very nice and clean- The only complaint was the bathroom had a stool too low and shower was barely passable but pretty new fixtures. The buffet breakfast was outstanding and free- We would definetly stay there again if needed..

Good place to stop for the night on the long trip. Close to the highway, yet quiet. Comfortable rooms. Good service. Really solid choice on the family trip when you need to stop overnight to rest when driving.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in York. The service and cleanliness are great. We enjoy staying there every year as they have an Applebee's attached. It is nice to have a restaurant/lounge to rexax in after driving all day. I wish the beds were a little more comfortable.

The room was clean. It was noisy just because it is located right next to the interstate. The desk people were kind and the Breakfast Lady was awesome. She welcomed all of us and even asked if I liked the oatmeal!! I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was ok. Pet friendly and close to the interstate. That's all you need as you try to get thru Nebraska as fast as possible. The receptionist at check in was super grumpy but I would be grumpy if I had to work the night shift in a Nebraska hotel, too. It just would be nice to be welcomed with a hello instead of her angry demeanor. I don't want to be checking into your hotel at 1am either lady! Room was fine. It's a pet friendly hotel so smelled heavily of carpet cleaner and the beds are super saggy but again it was 1am. We didn't care. Room was pretty clean but finding someone else's dirty socks in our sheets was kind of gross. The scary thing is the hotel does not have secure entrances so any Nebraska yaywho could walk into the hotel. Ladies, don't stay here alone! Breakfast was great at the receptionist at check out was delightful.

Good place to stay. Nice pool, restaurant on site, good breakfast, and friendly staff. No complaints. Our remote to the tv didn't work, but staff resolved the issue quickly, and we had no further issues. Recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to have Applebee's right in the hotel after a long travel day and being cold outside. We didn't use any of the other hotel amenities. The breakfast area was clean with lots of food options.

I had a problem with the internet. THE OWNER was at home and he came back and helped me out. It wasn't something he needed to do but HE DID. I cant say enough about his organization there. HE LEADS BY EXAMPLE AND YOU CAN TELL WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THOSE DOORS. Thanks again

This is a nice facility for the price; however, rules are not followed with the swimming pool. A large group of pre-teen and teen boys were roughly playing in the pool area forcing our children to have a very shortened swim due to safety concerns. The front desk was notified, and no steps were taken even though there is clear posting of signs indicating no swimmers unsupervised under the age of 18.

Good location, a bit off the main Hwy. Entrance is a little confusing with concrete blocks in the street as dividers. Lots of parking. Rooms are very good, clean, spacious, lots of towels.... Staff are very friendly. Added bonus of having Applebee's on the premises, don't have to get in the vehicle after a couple drinks in the room. Service was good in the restaurant, good food. Reasonable rates for the accommodations, good value. I thought the buffet breakfast was a poor considering the place was a “Plus”. Regular rubber egg omelettes and sausage. Same as something you get in a cheaper All said and done, I would still stay there again

We travel fairly regularly between Wisconsin and Colorado. Finding comfortable accommodation at a good value is important. We will plan to stay here again. This Best Western Plus has very convenient access from I-80. We had an easy and efficient check in. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The room had refrigerator and microwave, which is always appreciated by us. The room was quiet and we had a great nights sleep. We usually look for hotels with restaurants either on site or within easy walking distance. Applebee's is a dependable choice. Our waitress was a delightful woman, as well as a good waitress. Breakfast was plentiful and good.

Housekeeping is exceptional at this place. Front desk staff was wonderful. I thought it was a new building but it is just very well maintained. I think good service frequently starts at the top and filters down. The head of housekeeping must hire great staff. It is very clean and attractively decorated. Breakfast area was well stocked and clean. Rates are competative

This is a nice hotel to stay at. It is easy to get to off of the interstate, clean quiet rooms and clean and welcoming lobby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bonus is that there is an Applebee's on sight. Check in and grab your meal.

Room was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful, and made sure I knew about the business center. Would definitely recommend this establishment to other business travelers.

Stayed 1 night. Chose Best Western Plus due to location to highway & they had a bar. Lobby clean & staff friendly. Large spacious room, modern decor, very clean. Bar did the job, friendly staff. Very Comfortable bed & plenty of pillows. Breakfast was wonderful, good variety of food, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, fruit, cereal! Breakfast staff attentive to area- refilling & cleaning. Staff, a woman & a man, were very friendly & helpful-about what there was to do in York. Wonderful stay, highly recommend this hotel for the money!!

Easy to find at only one block off I-80 highway. For a best Western though I thought it was a bit pricey. In mid October, it was &116 for 2 queens, including tax. Room was of ample size. Had a fridge, microwave, table and 2 chairs, no sofa. The breakfast bar was fine with no reason to go out somewhere else. The lady who was maintaining that was super nice. I don't recall her name I hope the manager will commend her. We stayed there on the morning of October 21st.

We rely on the reputation of Best Western. We stopped at this Best Western for the night without reservations. The hotel has a nice outside appearance and has an "AppleBees" restaurant inside the lobby area. We were not impressed by the check-in clerks. They would not "match" a website rate for the night, but had us make reservations online while standing in the lobby to get the best rate for the night. We did not feel this was good customer p.r. Despite the poor check-in experience, the hotel was clean and room comfortable. We were surprised at the lack of plugs available in our room considering it's a conference center. We finally found plugs located on top of our alarm clock and used those to charge our tech devices.

Comfortable bed, Good selection of breakfast items and, I won at cards with my husband. Towels were rough and heater was noisy but we still had a good nights sleep. Definitely will stay here again when passing thru.

Compared to all of the Best Western Plus hotels, I am befuddled to know that this particular hotel ranks in the Plus category. Room was ok, but definitely older and tired looking. I left something personal behind, and called the hotel the next day. I was put on hold for almost 20 minutes, only to be told I would need to leave a message for housekeeping, and they would return my call. No one ever called, but I did receive a canned email response from the location's management apologizing for my disappointment with our stay. Best Western Plus fans, if you are travelling down I-80, do yourself favor, and stay at either the Lincoln, NE or Grand Island, NE Best Western Plus hotels, 45 minutes either direction of this place.

This was a nice stop on a long trip. Not a new hotel, but a well kept and nice facility. It was great to find an Applebee's Restaurant on the premises so we didn't have to venture out looking for one on a very cool and windy evening. Very friendly and helpful staff especially in the breakfast area.

It's not a top of the line hotel, but it has nice amenities, clean rooms, and comfy beds. I would stay here again. We also arrived later at night, the Applebee's is located in the hotel and stays open pretty late. It was nice to not have to leave again to find food, and a lot of places closed early.

The hotel may be old, but they've done some renovations and it's clean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was not the worst or best I've eaten. The omelet and sausage was warm. I always look forward to waffles when I eat at a hotel, but I was disappointed to see that the waffle maker didn't appear to be clean.

I found this into be clean, comfortable, and convenient. It is located just of I-80. While it is across a highway from a truck stop, it was also quiet. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. Both check-in and check-out were quick. It was nice having a restaurant on-site after a long day driving. The selection at breakfast was excellent. The breakfast room was clean and there were morning papers. The bath tub was very slippery, but a rubber bath may want provided. I also found the bathroom floor to be very slippery.

We were on a trip back from a family wedding in Colorado and found this place right off the interstate. It had an Applebee's on site which made our late and hungry arrival perfect. The rooms were excellent, clean and very well tended to. We booked this room online while on the road and the BW website made the booking easy and simple. Breakfast was amazing! Desk workers were very courteous and extremely helpful. One small suggestion...more electrical outlets were needed in the room. We had 3 phones, a computer, a tablet, and a CPAP machine that all needed outlets and there just were not enough. Other than that it was great!

Very nice hotel always clean, very comfortable beds & the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. It's also nice that they have an Applebee's restaurant inside so if you don't want to go out after being on the road all day it's right there, plus it's right off the highway which make it even more convenient We are also very pleased with the complimentary breakfast they offer. You have never disapointed us! :-) Not to mention York is a nice little town & the Iron Skillet restaurant across the road has a very nice buffet and a wide variety of choices on their menu!, very good! :-)

Pet friendly and nice. Beds were so comfortable and room clean. I travel a lot and this place was amazing . There was a restaurant in the hotel. Applebees. Very nice just to walk out of your toom to go eat. Great stay.

We were looking for a good place to stay between MN and CO and saw the York Hotel and Conference Center on line. It was excellent in every way. Matthew at the front desk was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. He gave us a choice of locations and when we said 'quiet' was a priority, he gave us a room on the second floor in the back (which overlooks a large, beautiful green space). It was not only quiet, but very clean and spacious. The room had a very comfortable King bed, plus a desk w/chair, and comfy chair w/ottoman and table. There was a fridge (without a freezer section) and microwave. The roomy bathroom has lots of counter space for 2 or even 3 people. (There even was a grab bar for getting in and out of the shower.) We went down to the Applebee's in the lobby after we unpacked, even though it was late, and had a delicious meal. After our good night's sleep we went to breakfast and found it to be one of the best we have seen. (They even had flavors for your coffee) Although many of the foods are standard in BW, the quality was excellent. ( They had a pancake machine in addition to waffle maker.) The eggs and meat were fresh as were the pastries. Best of all, Miranda was the attendant - she was helpful, efficient, and interacted beautifully with the guests. This hotel was also affordable. We highly recommend this hotel!!! (It's just S. of I-80)

The over all experience was great. The room was very clean. The staff was very helpful. JoAnna at tthe front desk is the best. I would stay here again. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The express check out is the way to go.

Very nice hotel at a very good price. Very clean, friendly staff. Appreciated the Applebees right in the hotel lobby. After a long day driving, nice not to have to get back in the car to get something to eat. Great breakfast in the morning. This was a nice place to stay when we were more than ready to get off the road. Highly recommend!

Great stay and very helpful staff there is even an Applebees in the lobby. The location is right on the highway for easy acess. The front desk staff always greets you with a smile and ask you how you are.

Great location and service. Comfortable room. I enjoyed the amenities and like having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Nice to have a restaurant on property. I had forgotten just how good Nebraska beef is.

Everyone was so nice and friendly here! The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable! There was a microwave and refrig in the room. This is a non smoking motel. They had an infra red ray wand that they use to wave over sinks, tables, etc. in the rooms to kill the germs! There was a full breakfast served in the morning. There was also a business room that I saw. There was an Applebees right inside the motel, so we were able to have dinner, and a couple drinks without leaving the motel! We would definitely stay again!

At check in our staff member was able to help us and another couple get what we needed. The other couple needed a room with a handicap restroom and we, through Expedia had accidentally gotten such a room. Timing is everything and the fact that we had both arrived at the same time was perfect as the staff member was able to switch that couple and my daughter and myself so that everyone got what they needed. He was very professional and handled everything so both of us could get in our rooms and settle in after hours of driving.

Hotels were booked out in Lincoln and so I stayed here. The price was high for the shape of the hotel. It should be in the $80-90 range. If you pay that, you'll be pleased with the location, having the Applebees on site and the variety of breakfast options. If you pay more, you'll be disappointed by the room and exterior safety. Be sure to put your do not disturb sign on your room if you don't want housekeeping coming in. I was leaving just after 9 am and they were just entering rooms without knowing if they were empty or not.

This is a very nice place all around. From the very helpful Holly at the front desk to the nice rooms, indoor pool, awesome breakfast and the attached Applebees - this is a great place to stay! The staff were very helpful especially at check in and at breakfast.

This is a finer hotel with Applebee's on-site, but do not expect dining discounts. We stayed 5 nights on the second floor away from busy traffic, but the air conditioner made up for the rumbling sound. Nonetheless, our room was clean and comfortable, well cared for by the housekeeping staff. Do not expect bath robe, slippers, shower cap, and other personal effects, but there is a hair blower in the closet, and a bag for on-site laundry. There is no in-room safe, but the front desk staff can help. Self-help breakfast is plentiful and no one should leave hungry. Staff, front and back are very friendly.

Staff is very professional and kind. Though it's an older property it's very well maintained and updated. Large facility and having a "map" would help navigate the hallways and how to get to different locations. I was upgraded to a suite and was a wonderful surprise to find a Jacuzzi waiting for me!! My room was comfortable and "suite"!! Can't say enough about having the "in house" Applebee's restaurant. You can enjoy happy hour without risking the drive back to a room!! Lots of parking and being very well lit makes it safe. The breakfast was plentiful and love the pancake maker!!

Clean room, nice staff. good morning meal. checked in late in middle of major rain storm. staff nice and quick to check in. got to my room and was glad. Clean and ready to sleep. slept like a baby, woke up rested and got a good meal to start the day.

Polite staff, comfortable beds, nice breakfast selection. The rooms are dated, but when you're looking for a place to sleep, it doesn't really matter. Not an exceptional hotel, but clean and comfortable.

Check-in very slow due to two clerks, one was dealing with a "problem" couple. the other on the phone. Noted some soiled carpets in hallways, especially in stairwells, Doors into stairwells soiled & needing painting. Hotel has a fairly complicated layout with multiple halls radiating from lobby. Roomy, quiet business center. Room 202: we had specifically asked for a quiet room & 202 is NOT quiet as it has a large, multi-ton commercial A/C unit directly outside window--this unit cycles about every 15 to 20 minutes all night & day. The room is small for a 2 bed room. There is only one bedside table and only one lamp--so only marginal light for reading in bed. The beds were very comfortable. There is a tub/shower unit which we strongly consider a plus. The toiletries were high quality & "green". Breakfast had the expected/usual items--all were good. The very friendly & efficient breakfast attendant kept the room & tables tidy; he refilled items quickly. This hotel needs some work; it will not be our fist choice on our next stop in York.

The hotel is located right off the interstate with easy access to gas and food. The room was clean and the beds were clean and comfortable. There were enough pillows and towels for two people without asking. The desk staff were pleasant. The hot breakfast station was well stocked, lean and had several tasty options. Would stay here again.

This was a great BW Hotel. Easy on/off the interstate. The bonus is the onsite Applebee's restaurant that had excellent food and service. Complimentary breakfast had a fairly good selection and this is the first BW that an employee came to our table and asked if we found everything we needed. We almost always stay at BW and this is a good one!

We were placed in a pet room. The mattresses were so horrible that we pulled the bedding off and slept on the floor. Being on the floor it quickly became obvious that the carpet in this pet room had not been cleaned for some time. The grassy areas were tick infested. We had them on us, the dogs and were brought in by guests. we found several ticks crawling on the wall in the hallway.

Nice stay we were checked in quickly. The location was real convenient. Restaurant was on the premises. When we travel this direction again! We will stay at this location. Very nice staff and they were very accommodating

Arrived late in the day and walked in for a room since I did not have a reservation. They politely provided what they had left and registered my arrival. Applebee's is within the premises and provide a good dining selection.

Very clean and spacious room. I would recommend this hotel plus take the drive downtown to Chances R Resturant. The only thing that I STRONGLY suggest is to upgrade all lamps to ones with additional outlets. You have added coffee pots, microwaves, refegerators, alarm clocks but no outlets for my needs. On this recent 2500 mile trip, you were the only one that didn't provide these. I am somewhat handicapped and Andrea was very friendly and helpful at the front desk. A young man named Broody provided extra assistance to get all my luggage from truck to room. It's genuine caring staff that will cause me to stay there again.

Stayed here for a wedding. Shuttle service was awesome! Applebee's in hotel was a plus! Rooms were great and so was the service. Highly recommend if you're in York. Breakfast was also good with many choices.

We liked this hotel for many reasons. It is a pet friendly hotel which we needed . Plus an Applebee's was attached to the hotel which made it so easy to eat dinner after a long day on the road. We will stay here again with our pets.

I always hold Best Western to a higher standard than my " regular" Budget Motels. This one lived up to my expectations . . . mostly. I got a pretty good deal through my rewards program, however I am not a fan of non-cancelable reservations - which was part of that good deal. When I reserved our room I was NOT told that the pool was out of service. This appears to be a common and unsavory practice among Best Western as well as some other hotel chains. Still, the overall quality of our room, the staff, the Applebee's Pub and the breakfast was all Top Notch.

This hotel is the best place! When I travel to York for business this is the only place I will stay. I been in every size of room as well from a double bed room to a hot tub suite. The staff are great, breakfast is delicious, rooms are clean and access is as easy as can be.

Staff was amazing. Only problem we encountered was some of the staff in the restaurant were fighting with the amazing bar tender in front of all the bar customers. Would totally recommend staying in the hotel. Hotel staff is amazing, caring, and attentive!

We travel through York each December on the way to Arizona. We've been disappointed with other hotels because of proximity to decent dining facilities. We spotted the BW with the Applebee's last year on the way out of town in the morning and made a note to check it our this year. Great way to finish off a day with a 12 hour drive. Nice clean room and excellent restaurant without leaving the building. Plan to recommend it to all our Snowbird friends who travel this route each winter.

Motel desk and complimentary breakfast personnel were great. Facility was great. Attached sports bar waiter had his mind elsewhere, he forgot everything right down to the silverware. The cook was out in left field someplace also, we ordered med steaks and got one med well and the other well.

Hotel was clean, and they are in the process of updating. Nice to have restaurant attached so once you quit driving for the night you don't have to go elsewhere to eat dinner. Breakfast at hotel had a nice variety and nice presentation. Two drawbacks to this hotel: bed was too soft for our personal preference and room was too far from services: coffee, breakfast, etc.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Appreciated and enjoyed having a restaurant right in the hotel. The free breakfast was the best of any hotel we have stayed in. The room was clean and comfortable.

GREAT Plus Property with Applebees onsite. Very nice fitness center. Breakfast area was WAY above average and food all excellent. The staff at check in and out were friendly and very competent. Good choice for the area!

I've been in many hotels but this one is the best --- it has a great bar and great food ((applebee's restaurant)) right in the hotel very good breakfast, very clean rooms nice pool. Gail and Jessica will go out of there way to make sure that we are satisfied and resolve any concerns we might have. OBSERVATION from a truck driver that goes to 4 TO 5 Hotels a month.

Loved the fact that hotel is conveniently located and has restaurant inside. Staff friendly and courteous. Staff in breakfast area was always attentive to our needs making sure we were ok and if we needed anything.

Everything I needed for the night no problems whatsoever. Breakfast had plenty of choices and plenty of help. Ed working elevator plenty of nice people to help you, like before I stated I really enjoyed the breakfast choices and very helpful staff.

The hotel was quite decent for the price. Staff was very pleasant and very helpful. Room was clean and linens were clean. Breakfast was very satisfactory with varied types of food. Great value. Fair price for the amenities offered. Nice to have Applebee's right in the Hotel. Close to my work location. Room was clean. Water pressure was fine. Decent bed. All you need for a good nights stay.

We wanted to stay in a suite in town so we didn't have far to drive after our reception. We stayed two nights. We had a very nice clean and large room. We wereally able to relax and enjoy the hottub in our room. We had a very enjoyable stay.

We have stayed here before. The hotel was clean, and the rooms were comfortable. It is really nice to have a restaurant (Applebees) on site. The hotel met our needs and we were satisfied with our stay. The hotel is close to route 80 and 281. You are quickly on your way in the morning. The breakfast was quite good, and met our needs. We will stay here again, likely next Fall.

No way we ever expected to find a gem like this in York. It was not only decently clean with the required needs of good bed and water pressure but it had a nice free breakfast. However, the best feature was the staff from the first to the last we were treated not only kindly but graciously. Clerk, maids and breakfast staff. Great job Best Western.

Was in town for an event at the local conference center. Chose this hotel based reviews and many great experiences at Best Western's. Hotel was very clean and staff was very helpful. Had a minor room key issue, housekeeper nearby came over and radio'd the front desk who immediately responded with new keys. Bed and room was clean, and well equipped.

WOW an amazing breakfast set-up. Everything from the basic waffle station to pre-made scrambled eggs and sausage, to pancakes, biscuits and gravy, plenty of fruit.. Checking in was loud as the Applebys on site is right there at the front desk, but all was well. Matter of fact we ordered for pick up from our room just a few minutes later and it was ready in thirty minutes.

This is a very nice Best Western. There is an Applebee's restaurant on site so you don't need to leave the building. Although we did not eat here as we were out exploring, it is nice that a restaurant is on site which you seem to rarely find these days. This Best Western is laid out rather uniquely, so you may want to request from the check in host rather you should park and enter from an outside door or use the elevator. We were in Room 273 and it was easier for us to use the outside entrance rather than the elevator inside. The second floor has no more than about a dozen steps and going with the elevator would have made for a long walk. Pool was heated, no hot tub though, which was kind of disappointing. Free newspapers, USA Today, and also local newspapers available. Breakfast was good for their limited choices, there was a pancake maker, waffle maker, scrabbled eggs, cereal, etc. Your basic continental breakfast. We would stay here again. Check in was quick, bill under door next morning. If they had a hot tub, I would give them an excellent.

Best Western in York Nebraska is an excellent place to stay. Everything was clean and the employees were excellent. They were very professional and nice. The breakfast was the best that I have had at a Best Western.

I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with this place!!! Arrived just after midnight on Oct 1, 2017 after a long drive from Aspen. Worn out and ready to crash! About five miles outside of York I did I search of reviews and without a doubt this place was the frontrunner, so I booked a room. I won't bore you with details of how and why, but suffice it to say I made a mistake in the booking and this amazingly kind, patient, upbeat and friendly guy at the front desk named Krieg totally bent over backwards for us. As we were arriving there was a wedding party arriving at the same time (about 12:30 AM), lots of them, some very eager to crash, others eager to start an after-party in their suites with the cases of beer some of them were carrying. Krieg treated each and every one of them with such great respect and customer service, and had this incredibly calm demeanor even though he seemed to be alone to handle a lot of people. Meanwhile a tired, irritated and possibly drunk guest came from upstairs to get a coffee packet. After waiting through a few wedding guest check-ins, he got to the front and was exasperated saying he just wanted coffee for his coffee maker. Krieg said "sure! I will totally hook you up!!" and diffused the stress of the situation, sending the guy away quite happy. Other wedding guests were arriving carrying more beer. Krieg never once made a face of panic or frustration- he looked so happy to help all of us! He was getting gift bags for the wedding guests and wishing everyone a wonderful stay. Then it was our turn. He treated my son and I like we were special guests of the best western- there I was trying to get a discount after screwing up my reservation and he was treating us like we were VIPs. In the midst of this the phone rang and someone must have said something was broken - Krieg happily said "I'll be right up to check on that for you!" Honestly- anyone else after all of this at 12:30 AM would at least let out a sigh or made a little face or something!! But he just kept smiling and treated us all like he was thrilled to see us and hoped we had the best stay of our lives! If there is a customer service training on patience and service excellence, this guy needs to be the professor of it. So- Krieg - thank you!! You are an inspiration!! Ok- now for the hotel- extremely clean and comfortable, seemed updated. Very nice breakfast options. Nice shower head and amazing bedding- fluffy pillows and comfy mattresses. Microwave and mini fridge. Very spacious, very quiet. Clean hallways and lobby with nice fireplace. Have I convinced you yet? Just go there!!

At midnite we discovered roaches in our room at the palmer inn in york THANK GOODNESS the best western plus was nearby and had a room the room was spacious and a very welcome relief from where we originally checked in

We liked the breakfast very much. Good variety and friendly staff. The check-in process was fast. The room was clean and at night the hotel was quiet. We at at the Appleby's restaurant in the hotel. Food was good and it was nice not to have to drive our car!

we stopped on our way from chicago to frisco and this was a very nice place to stay. would highly recommend it. we have two dogs so great place for dog lovers. nice that they have a restaurant right in the hotel. no need to get back in your car to travel somewhere

Stayed here for a business meeting. Facility is OK for that. Breakfast is great and onsite Applebee's is really nice. Staff is very good, but not very competent. Traveling companion walked in his room and found someone already there. But they did comp his room.

Once we get to our motel/hotel for the night, we do not like to leave to find a place to eat. We were pleasantly surprised to find a Best Western with an Applebee's Restaurant inside. The motel was very clean and up-to-date. Front desk clerk was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. We were planning on staying in Lincoln; however, there was a Cornhuskers game and the price of rooms a little on the higher side. So, if you are looking to stay at a reasonably priced motel near Lincoln, this would be your best bet.

The rooms were very comfortable and it was fairly quiet. The hotel itself smelled a bit musty and the decor is a bit dated for comparably priced establishments. The hotel staff was very accommodating and we got quickly checked in.

York is way out in the middle of nowhere. I was surprised to find a motel in that area that was nice, quiet, and convenient to food and gas. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. I recommend the motel.

The location is good, close to the highway. Loved that it had a Applebees attached to it. The room was clean, the sheets were a bit scratchy for me. Check out was easy, it was nice to have our statement left thru the night and leave our keys in the room.

We stayed at this hotel while traveling from CO to IL. It was a good value. The hotel staff was friendly, the facility was clean and quiet. I would recommend this facility for a good night's rest on the road.

We stayed with our grandson at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Easy to get into and out of as it is very close to I 80.

My wife and I spent an evening/day at this hotel and found it to be a fantastic value. The on-site Applebee's was nice. The free continental breakfast was really good. More importantly, our room was clean and comfortable. Definitely would/will stay here again when passing through Nebraska.

Arrived at 3:30 was told guaranteed check in at 3. Finally got to our room at 5pm. Had a jacuzzi suite had to leave at 730 am. Arrived early to be able to relax. No concern from staff that we waited 90 minutes along with the elderly ladies that waited 2 hours!

This hotel is clean and comfortable. The room was showing some signs of age, but was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and small refrigerators are in every room. There is a restaurant on site and a very nice breakfast area.

I have nothing but positive things to say. We arrived late and the room was waiting for us. We were warmly welcomed on our arrival. The room was Clean , and comfortable. We had a great sleep. Friendly service and the price was most reasonable.

Stopped here for an overnight during a long road trip and it was perfect; comfortable beds, clean room, and easy on/off the highway. We arrived late (around 11pm) and had to wait a little while before the front desk attendant arrived. There was a sign posted that the staff was helping a customer and would be back. Wife I spent 1 night here. From the time we checked in till we left everything was great. Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast had something for everyone's taste. Located right of the highway. With a restaurant in the hotel. Gas right across the street.

Our stay was nice. The hotel is clean and the staff accommodating. Their breakfast needs improvement as I have been told that Best Western Plus has an more upscale breakfast than a Best Western and I would say that this was at a Best Western Level. If ever passing through the area again I would stay here.

Was able to finish my vacation trip on a positive note. Enjoyed breakfast menu. Needed sausage to have made it perfect. Wife had knee surgery before trip, had a lot of steps to get to room. Restaurant was a good choice and was very nice to have it next to lobby.

Excellent place to stay on the way to Sturgis SD. Very welcoming staff in the hotel and the restaurant. The restaurant is in the hotel is an Applebee's, This hotel is very friendly to motorcycle riders. I would stay there again.

We were forced to get rooms here due to a mechanical failure. This is basically the middle of nowhere, with many hotels restaurants, fuel stops etc. we arrived late and got charged 116.42 for a room each. Rooms are very nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. Towels are useable but not top quality. In the morning, there is no breakfast , free or otherwise available on site. Just not sure why the high price with no extra amenities. Room has a fridge, microwave, crap coffee, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, small flat screen tv, but none of that is considered extra or luxurious in this day and age. Captive audience, feel taken advantage of. My advice? Keep going till you can get some value for your money, no value here.

The room and facilities are awesome. I was however overcharged for my nights stay causing a $30 bank fee. It has cost me $210.79 for one nights stay, it was only supposed to be $107.61. I'm not happy...

too many review request from every business in the country. my stay was excellent, if not I would have checked out early. please do your best to keep your property clean and presentable at all times, as this one is. therefore you will continue to receive business. work hard at satisfying your customers so you will not have to rely on anonymous reviews and surveys to correct areas that are ignored.

Stayed 7/14 and had immediate difficulties with key cards. Twice. Front desk man Cameron went above and beyond to solve problems. Changed room and delivered (sprinted) and tested 3rd set of now working key cards. We were going to leave and because of Cameron we stayed and will do so again. Kudos for good beds and quiet room hvac units.

I travel for a living and do over 300'hotel nights a year and have stayed at most of them in York at one point or another. There is NO comparison that this is the BEST! The staff is always happy and there to help.

Excellent hotel with easy on and off the Interstate. Recently upgraded. Great staff. Close to town if you want to shop. A walking path adjacent to the hotel is a great way to unkink from driving all day.

We had two rooms on 7/10-7/11. The air conditioners in both rooms were much more like humidifiers. The rooms were slightly cool but with incredible humidity, but clean. The gentleman at the breakfast buffet was extremely cheerful and pleasant. My wake-up call came 30 minutes late with an apology and rate adjustment that was not requested. It would be nice to have a channel in the room.

We were very impressed with this hotel overall. The check in process was quick and efficient. The hot breakfast buffet was delicious. The kitchen staff made sure that the food was hot and fresh. It was exactly what one would expect from a Best Western hotel chain

Best Western Plus York was a great overnight stay on our way to Colorado from Wisconsin. The breakfast in the morning was great. Many options espically for my 13 month old. We look forward to staying here again. And the Applebee's on sight was great. We didn't have to go driving somewhere to find food after our 11 hour drive.

The Best Western Motel in York, Nebraksa was a very nice place to spend the evening. It was full of guests but we were not disturbed by any sounds from them. We enjoyed a very nice stay with a more than adequate breakfast. Everything was clean and well organized. Sincerely, Del C

You can tell that the employees at this hotel take pride in their hotel. It is nicely decorated and well taken care of. Rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Definitely a location where I would return.

It was the first time at that Hotel. The room was comfortable and very roomy. I had the room to move around and prepare my information for the next day's meetings. The room was quiet so that I could rest.

We were met with very polite and caring staff. The restaurant had excellent service and food. Our room was very clean and the bed was wonderful. We really enjoyed a great breakfast given by the hotel too.

Our group for Tour NE had to be out of the Hotel by 6am so they started breakfast at 5am for us! How awesome is that?!!

We started our Tour Nebraska 2017 (our 25th year) out of this hotel. The service they gave us as we assisted approximately 900 people through our registration line was stellar. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. The Tour brought 482 cars that were 30 years old or older with 2,3 & 4 people per car to York, that should have been an economic boom for the community. The service in the community of York was out standing! Thank You York.

My opinion, look somewhere else holiday inn looked nice. First of all the place was very busy, got a king room and it smelled like dog or dog piss, second the hall smelled of Chinese food, and the carpet looks like its been here 30 years all for $150 are you kidding me the worst BW I'v ever stayed and we stay a lot. $150 dollars I'v stayed at Hilton embassy and Marriott for this price and was not worried about not having shoes on when I walk on the carpet. Oh, and the Bed also 30 years old no pillow top barely a mattress. Worst hotel in months. I hardly ever give a bad review. Restaurant was very good to busy but good. Good luck but don't stay here I'm not sure where all those great reviews come from but fooled me.

BW Plus always costs a bit more but this one was truly worth it. The rooms are really nice, very comfortable and the breakfast was the best I have ever seen. They had gluten free as well as regular waffles, pancakes, and flavored syrup (strawberry, my favorite!) and whipped cream along with yummy looking omelets, bacon, toast (with raisin bread available - another favorite of mine), a lot of extras to add to your meal like slivered almonds, mini-chocolate chips, raisins for the oatmeal etc. Definitely will stay here again if in the area.

Great service, rooms and food! Debbie the hotel manager and Tiffany shift supervisor were awesome! Very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be staying here every time we are in the area! Also the breakfast at this hotel rocks they have everything from waffles and pancakes to bacon and sausage. Delicious!

Applebee's waitress very helpful, cook could not get order right. By time corrected the other diners dinner was cold. Rude lady seating people, manager never showed up to interact about the problem. Noise level at room was not acceptable, lingering oder room was possibly a smoking room previously.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Every time I visit they are very pleasant and always willing to go the extra mile. I would not choose any other hotel in the area. Last Christmas I had car trouble and could not make my reservation. The local staff went above and beyond and refunded my reservation. It was greatly appreciated and I will never forget how wonderful and understanding they were. They made me feel like they really do care about there customers.

The hotel was very nice and the staff helpful when you needed assistance or had questions. The room was very nice also and decorated comfortably. The Applebees in the hotel was great. We were tired after our drive and the fact we could order a nice meal and take it back to our room was a bonus. The Breakfast was very good also.

We had a large group that congregated here for my niece's wedding. The group traveled from Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Florida and a couple of other places. We were greeted by Tiffany Gayle at the front desk and the good service continued from the other front desk help to the housekeeping crew. Our rooms were clean and the breakfasts were very good with a very wide variety of items to choose from. I think my family especially enjoyed the automatic pancake maker and "Red" the gentleman who was running things in the breakfast area did an excellent job of refreshing supplies and cleaning tables while being very personable and helpful. Our experience here only enhanced our wonderful wedding celebration and the memories that were made. The convenience of the Applebee's within the facility was an added bonus as was the seating area around the fireplace. It was our official meet and hangout spot. I would highly recommend the Best Western Plus- York, Nebraska!! Thank you for an awesome weekend!

We have stayed here twice now on our way to AZ and each time we were greeted by Tiffannie (sp?) at the front desk. She is a delight and made us feel very welcome. So nice after a long day of driving! The hotel is also pet friendly which is a huge plus. Designated pet rooms make it nice for everyone whether traveling with a pet or not. We have noted this location as one of our favorites and will definitely stay again in the future.

$20-30 cheaper, and there's no light shining in your eyes through the curtains .. like there is at the Hampton (regardless of the room, seemingly - I've tried three). Front desk staff went out of their way for us - I'll be back!

Great place to stay awesome staff!!! Pool was warm and the kids swam unit 10pm. We enjoyed sitting watching NCAA basketball at Applebee's. The breakfast options are plentiful and each of the kids found something they wanted

We were on a quilt shop hop and found this hotel in York. We enjoyed going to Applebee's and watching KU, K-State, and Wichita State on 3 different TVs while eating a wonderful meal and drinking green beer!

This is a very nice looking hotel and Applebee's being on site is so convenient. The carpet in our room was damp and although we didn't like it the centipede did. The mattress on the bed was comfortable but the bed made a loud noise when you sat down on it like a board cracking. Everything else about the hotel was great, very nice breakfast, staff were very friendly and the hotel is located very close to the interstate. We would consider staying here again but would not put up with damp carpet or a bed like that again. The centipede could stay! LOL!

we had a long several weeks stay due to waiting for our new home to close. Gail always made sure we were taken care of and that we had whatever we needed. entire staff was friendly. It was also nice to have applebees right in hotel for when we just didn't want to venture out.

I drive a truck and was needing to stop for the night around York, NE area. I like Best Westerns, so I was pleased to find one there. I called ahead to verify that they had truck parking, Mrs Gail answered the phone and verified my question. When I arrived, it didn't seem to me that there was parking available. I called back and Mrs Gail helped me out again, explaining where they allowed for trucks to park. She even walked outside, to look at the parking lot for me and verify I was looking at the correct area to park. She showed a customer service level above and beyond what most would do for you in this situation. All why staying friendly and smiling. Thank you for hiring her as one of your guest services personal. She brings a new and refreshing level of customer service to your industry.

We drove until we were tired and pulled in to this property. In those circumstances I expect to pay a high rate, and don't expect more than a passable experience. This hotel far exceeded my expectation! The desk clerk actually asked questions which enabled me to obtain a discounted rate (this hotel offers a discount to CDL holders). The restaurant just off the lobby was excellent, and the room was too.

Very friendly staff. It was very nice to be able to leave your room, walk to the restaurant, have a meal and relax, without having to drive around trying to find place to eat in an unfamiliar town. Although, the restaurant appeared to be very busy, we were able to be seated (2 people) quickly with no wait and service was great.

This hotel is located right off of I-80 and just minutes from York. The people at the front desk were welcoming and efficient. The location is clean and well cared for. The rooms were comfortable and there is a pool and fitness room as well. We were given a great suggestion for dinner in town even though there is a restaurant at the hotel.

Bobbi Jo was my first contact with this hotel and she was ever so helpful. Even called me back to follow up on my request for a floor fan for my brother! Kirsten on our late check in was a great end to our long day. Both of these young ladies went above and beyond for our comfort. The hotel was clean and quiet. The military discount added to this hotel being the best for us. We stayed here on Saturday, October 8 traveling from Michigan to Silt, Colorado. Thank you Best Western!

Check in was fast and easy. The rate was very reasonable. The staff was gracious enough to put our ice jugs in the freezer for us. The room was quiet, clean and updated. It was very convenient to have an Applebee's inside the hotel. It was very popular. We only stayed one night on the way home to Missouri from trip to Oregon. If we are ever in this area again we would definitely stay there again. Nice area right off I-80.

This hotel is a convenient stop point for our trip South to Texas each Fall. The rooms an service are what you would expect from a BW hotel. The breakfast is quite good, and meets the early morning needs before we continue our trip South for the day. It is really nice to have the Applebee's restaurant at the hotel. It means that after you have settled in for the evening that you do not have to drive somewhere for dinner. We like this hotel and will stay here again

Nice hotel - looks like it's been updated recently. My room was on the back side of the building on the second floor - was a little noisy with the semi trucks parking on that side. Lots of choices for continental breakfast. Applebee's located in lobby was excellent.

Though this hotel is very busy, I heard no noise in my room during a three-night stay here. The hotel is co-located with an Applebee's restaurant, which makes it convenient for a weary traveler to get a good meal without having to drive into town for food. Microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker are in rooms, and a hot breakfast is served, all at a budget hotel price. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I will stay here again next time I travel to York.

Had a nice stay at the York Best Western. Good hotel for the money and has an Applebee's in the building which is nice when one is tired and doesn't want to go far for something to eat. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Overall it was an ok hotel. The bed sheets were SUPER scratchy. The air condition did not get the room very cold. It was either their carpet or something but it smelled aweful in the hallway wasn't bad in the room but the hallway was bad. Breakfast was great though.

This is probably the fifth time I've stayed at this hotel for work, and am pleased every visit. We are always greeted by the lovely Kristen when we check in, and she certainly sets the standard high for all other hotel agents we deal with. And the breakfast selection is super! Love the yogurt and soy milk!! Will always stay here when passing thru York!

We had the pleasure of meeting Kirsten last night. After seeing all of the positive reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to give it a shot. We called to make a reservation as we were driving through on a long drive from ND to TX. We had two young kids and weren't quite sure what to expect. We got in late at night and Kirsten already had a crib in the room for us! It was such an easy process and we couldn't have been more thankful for the customer service! The room and bathroom was extremely clean and the beds/pillows were extremely comfortable!!

I was in town on business and I called the front desk at the Best Western and talked to a very nice young lady by the name of Kirsten. She was professional over the phone and very kind and sweet in person. Nice people,good restaurant and good truck parking rooms are clean with comfortable beds ,petro fuel stop across street with the iron skillet restaurant and right next to I-80 so you can go west to Colorado or easy to Lincoln and Iowa

Stayed here one night following a wedding and it was great. Room and property very clean and well kept. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Lighting in the bathroom was dim, however. (hard to put on make-up). Breakfast was nice with warm and cold food including make-your-own waffles, although the room was a little small for the number of people. Staff were all EXCELLENT!! Everyone from the housekeeper to the front desk were SOOO friendly, helpful and pleasant. Thank you Bobbi Jo Schutz for a wonderful place to stay for a night.

Excellent staff, clean, comfortable, convenient, accessible. Best hotel we stayed at in the last twenty visits on our vacation. My wife and I took a twenty-one day trip visiting our National Parks in North Dakota, Montana, Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Arizona, Colorado and Nevada. We stayed at Comfort Inns and Best Westerns and the Best Western in York, Nebraska was by far the best one of the bunch. Found this hotel to be clean with excellent desk staff. Building was older & needed some repair. All window coverings & closet curtain needed updating. Combined with Applebee's was a plus especially after a long day of driving. Excellent breakfast.

We made a reservation online... our first time here in York, NE...9-14-16. Kirsten at the desk was excellent.. welcoming and informative.. the food was good at Applebees... the room was comfortable clean had everything we needed ..and we're happy to find this Best Western....Will be back..

Stopped here for the night as we were headed from IL to CO. Kirsten at the front desk was very welcoming. The rate was amazingly low. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Great bed too! We got in late but the restaurant in hotel (Applebees) stayed open until midnight. Happy hour was 9-midnight! The full breakfast in the morning was delicious with choices for every diet.

My wife and son had driven out from California for a funeral. Emotionally and physically drained the staff went out of their way to make here stay comfortable, even extending the checkout time to accommodate the amount of places she needed to be that day.

This Best Western Plus offers good value and courteous service from hotel emplouyees. Room has been updated with modern decor colors. Bright lighting in bath/vanity sink area was great ! Great for an overnight while traveling across Nebraska. Property also includes an Applebee's, from which you enter from hotel lobby. Enjoyable stay !

No planned stops on a long drive from California to Illinois, pulled into York, Nebraska. Best Western Plus conveniently located right at the exit of I-80 eastbound. Tiffany was pleasant and found me a room within just a few minutes. When I discovered the phone in my room was inoperable, she walked with me to another room to make sure it was acceptable and the phone worked. While I was getting my bags from the old room, she had issued keys to the new room. No hassle, no stress. She even offered to help with my bags. I WOULD stay here again and I highly recommend it. The Applebee's inside the building was an additional perk...decent dinner with no driving. I would rate my sleep quality higher, however I never sleep well at hotels for the first few days.

i usually stay at the comfort inn but i might be staying here for now on. i will be coming through here until october every week on business. i would like to say thank you to all the staff at this location and look forward to many more happy nights here

We stayed here 2 nights for a wedding. The rehearsal dinner and reception were at the hotel. The staff was helpful, the breakfast was great and the pool was large and nice. When we asked to switch rooms because we wanted one closer to where the reception would be they were very accommodating.

We stopped here overnight on our way from Chicago to Denver. We booked through hotels.com as we were about 90 minutes away and chose it due to the reviews here. Mike on reception was great and even told us about happy hour in the restaurant. This gave me time to use the small fitness centre (cross trainer, running machine, weights machine and 2 fitness balls) and my husband and daughter went for a swim. When I joined them they were the only people there. The room was big and had a microwave and fridge. The hotel was easily accessible from the interstate. Would definitely recommend it.

This place was nice and the staff was very friendly when I checked in. The rooms are pretty average hotel rooms, a little small but everything works and the beds are comfy. The breakfast was pretty good too, as long as you stay away from the muffins and such (those are cheap package pastries). You could get a decent breakfast and a good start to your day.

This hotel was very reasonably priced, clean and conveniently located to I80. Tiffany, the desk clerk, went above and beyond in taking care of all of our needs and requests. She was cheerful and professional. She made our stay all the better. I will definitely stay here again! Pet friendly too, which is a bonus!

I held a meeting here in the conference room this past month and was very unsatisfied with my experience. I dealt with several front desk employees, and all of them (with the exception of one) were very disorganized and not very competent in their role. They were not prepared for the arrival of guests, and kept getting rooms/credit cards confused. The conference room itself was very lacking - looked as if it was just thrown together. Majority of the tables used were wobbly and one even collapsed. For some reason the room temperature was set very low, and it took several attempts for the staff to raise it - a staff member brought in a whole ringlet of keys and nearly had to go through every one of them before finding the right one. The rooms themselves were well maintained though, and breakfast each morning was also well looked after. Though the location is very convenient(right off the interstate) and there is a restaurant attached, it doesn't make up for all the negative experiences. I will not be back - neither to rent the conference room or to spend a night.

First time at this facility for our reunion. Rates were good and staff was excellent. Minor problem with refrigerator upon arrival but was quickly fixed. We had access to a conference room for our get together with ice water provided. Breakfast was good except that the cinnamon rolls were dry and unflavorful. Applebees and lounge on site very accommodating for large group. Hotel was clean, open and neat. Are planning on having reunion there again next year.

This is a Plus hotel. Best Western hotels are usually nice but this is a cut above. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was more than the typical, offering several hot items as well as the usual. Recommend staying here when in the area.

Me and my wife have stayed at this Hotel several times in past few weeks for both Business and pleasure. We have found a exceptional experience that we want to brag about!!! The Management, staff and department Teams must know that every effort they put into this Hotel shows in "high def" so to speak! The attitudes of all employees is friendly,helpful,kind ,warm and very professional. I'm not exactly sure what kind of training manual this particular Management has up their sleeves but it certainly works well and,I am very picky about where I stay! Absolutely amazing service and certainly would not change the scope of your day to day operations. You all deserve a 9 star rating if me and my wife had our way. Take all travelers ,this is the best experience you will find in York,Nebraska for the price...don't take our word however,just notice the time we spent on this review should speak volumes! When I checked in I was surprised that the reservation I made online was not in the system. Imagine my anxiety as my wife comes in asking what floor.... Tiffany saved me. We checked my notes and I made it for Nebraska City, Nebraska. She checked us in and before I could even ask, she was on the phone with the BW in N.C.NE advising them that she had checked us in there, AND before I could say it - she so politely asked if they would cancel my booking and refund w/o penalty. It was after 6 pm, I knew my card had been charged at 4pm! She exemplifies what you desire in a quality hotels' front desk. She had her name tag on, it read "Tiffany Training". I assumed she was the trainer, she had the people skills that I have seen only be a few. She is in the last days of training?! She should be a part of the training team. I have to recommend you stay there just for the experience you have been missing at other hotel chains. She even came up and fixed the tv remote during her shift, how did she do that? I didn't expect tv until midnight. We look forward to staying at the BW Plus Conference Center & Hotel just for the check in experience. The Applebys restaurant in house is overpriced but good.

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The rooms are immaculate, the staff up front are very helpful and polite. The housekeeping staff are polite, friendly. The breakfast room and service is excellent as well. I travel 9 months of the year and this is one of the best places I have stayed.

i was at the best western in York for three weeks and the experience was great, rooms were clean spacious and have that modern feel,,pool was very clean and relaxing, and not to mention the the fact that they had there own Apple-bees..the staff was all very customer friendly and welcoming i think her name was TIFFANY from the front desk, i must say she was a gem...she did all she could to make sure my stay was superb...i would recommend the bw in york ne to anyone and i will surely will be staying there again in the near future.

We were worn out and the Oasis appeared. Imagine rolling 500 miles,arriving late in the day with the prospect of checking in, then looking for food. Bang...an Applebee's was attached to the Hotel Lobby. This is a combination that you cannot beat. We went straight to the room, and I came back to pick up the food order. Talk about easy.

We didnt make it down to breakfast till 9:30. Even though there was only a half hour of breakfast left the breakfast attendants were still bringing out fresh biscuits and gravy, cheesy omelettes, and hot bacon. Kudos to them for working so hard to keep the guests happy. Front desk was polite helpful and friendly thank you holly cameron kirsten and tiffany. There was also a guest who was kind enough to put on firework displays the last two nights which was so kind and considerate. Its been a rough week and am grateful to hotel management for allowing him to do so, it was definitely the silver lining in a stormy week. I would recommend anyone considering staying here to do so, you wont be disappointed!

This hotel surpassed our expectations. Great attention to detail for furnishings, bathroom, floors, bedding, coordinated artwork and breakfast. There is a great Applebee's located in the hotel. We are going to use this hotel again and again and again.

I stay in hotels 6 months out of the year . the experience i have gotten from the time i check in with the very professional oriented staff (TIFFANY YOUR THE BEST!!!)working to provide fast check in"s as well as ensure all guest receive the best experience this Hotel has to offer. The breakfast staff do a awesome job laying out a spread your sure to enoy. Housekeeper are very attentive to detail and extremely consistant in their work ethic. The prize has to be awarded to front desk for doing their part in what"s a team effort to strive for excellence in making it work for co-workers and guest the same. Absolutely no regrets @ $149.00 per night!

Currently staying here at the best Western plus in York nebraska and I have to say it's an amazing hotel. The hotel is well designed and very clean. I am very pleased with my service and i will be staying here again. I also would love to give a special shout out to the front desk ladies Kirsten and Tiffany . They are just amazing and are so patient and seem to enjoy what they do. Overall I rate this hotel a 10/10 and i recommend it to anyone who comes to good Ole York nebraska :) :) :)

One of the best Best Western hotels that i have stayed in. It has everything that i needed during my extended stay here like fitness center, pool, laundry facilities that work great and a built in Apple B's restaurant inside the hotel. After a long day of work, last thing i want to worry about is where to get a drink and have a great meal. This hotel offers everthing i needed. Plus the front desk staff was great. Gotta give shout outs to Kurstin and Debbie. Thank you for accomodating my crew and myself. Will recommend anyone coming through York Nebraska to stay here. Its a great stay.

I stay here a lot when I am in the area for work. The front desk staff is always very friendly and accommodating, and Kirsten always makes sure I notice the complimentary cookies! Having Applebee's in the hotel itself is especially convenient when I am tired at the end of the day and just want to relax. The rooms are average, but always clean and comfortable. I make use of their fitness center every day, and occasionally use the pool. I always enjoy my stays when I am here, and there are many things to do in the area. Also it's very accessible with the interstate just north of the hotel. I definitely would recommend staying here on business or with your family. If I ever run into a problem the front desk staff is always quick to help me out, and the rooms have everything you need.

This is a hidden wonderful place. the room was comfy and clean. The bed was a bit to stiff for me but the evening front room clerk truly went out of her way to make me comfortable by bringing several comforters to soften. She explained everything the hotel offered including Applebees restaurant - so very convenient! Really enjoyed my nights stay.

I needed a hotel on may way from WA to GA and found this through the internet. Not expecting much after a long day of driving, I was pleasantly surprised: excellent service, spacious and clean rooms, fast internet and an extremely helpful receptionist.

The staff here is amazing, from the front desk to the lovely people who make breakfast in the morning. You can really tell that people take a lot of pride in keeping this place spotless. We couldn't ask for more in York Nebraska. Tiffany at the front desk will be a general manager soon, that's my prediction.

Manager, Debbie Dumpert, was most helpful. Made sure the ballroom was set up to meet our and the caterer needs. The party went off without a problem. Family from the Netherlands arrived and had rooms near us, which was wonderful. Our rooms were always cleaned in a very timely manner and the staff, very pleasant. Lots of food nearby and Applebee's on property.

The Best Western provided us with a very comfortable stay while visiting with family near York. We had two adjoining rooms which made it easy to keep an eye on our older kids. The rooms are spacious and well equipped; the fridge and microwave were very welcome additions not normally found in hotel rooms. The beds are very comfortable. The laundry facilities, pool and gym made our stay very pleasant. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the Best Western and everything the staff did to make our stay the best was most appreciated. The quality of the rooms was appreciated by our friends. The furthest traveled were from Amsterdam and Philadelphia. They appreciated the comfort of the hotel.

A1 best place to stay,dont bother going to Lincoln or Grand Island,its the nicest hotel with Applebee's inside so you don't have to venture in heat or cold... great free breakfast,super clean and Kirsten seems to have 6th sense and knows just what you need,1st floor,near exit very pleasant.Also plenty of truck parking anytime of day or night...truck stops at same exit... don't pass this hotel up,its worth driving a little extra the next day!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Plus Hotel again in York, Nebraska, and once again this hotel met all of my expectations! I have traveled a lot, and stayed in many different hotels, and this hotel, by far, is top notch, and at the top of my list. The staff went above and beyond to meet my needs, and was so friendly to everyone in my family. The room was perfectly clean, as well as the entire hotel. The free breakfast was amazing, and the staff was so helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that my children had everything they wanted, as well as every other guest in the dining room. The Best Western Plus Hotel is the only place I would ever stay at in York, Nebraska. I look forward to the next time I get the chance to stay there again. I know I will not be disappointed!

The hotel was clean and new and pleasant. The handicap facilities were lacking. The space seemed small and hard to maneuver around in. It was quit a mess having the bathroom under water from the shower. We had to clean that up every time we showered. Because the towel rack was not sufficiently secured, I worried about the handicap bars. I would always wonder if they were going to stay put while he pulled himself to his feet. There aren't enough outlets for things like oxygen machines, etc. There were a lot of extension cords in the room I noticed.

Our stay at the Best Western in York NE. was amazing everyone on staff was very friendly & personable not to mention the nice clean rooms, quiet and a very nice choice of breakfast items. Will be staying there again next time we pass through.

We stayed here for the 2nd night of a 3 day road trip. We got in around 11pm and were pleasantly surprised to find the Apple Bees in the lobby was still open and we were able to get a yummy dinner. The room was nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. They had a great complimentary breakfast, which was very convenient for an early start the next day

Check in was a breeze with the assistance from Kristen, who was extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. The housekeeping staff always greeted you with smile and provided a clean room. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, we'll stocked by a kind young man from Kansas attending college in York. He allowed two mature women to interact with him as their own son. It was a pleasure staying here and I would highly recommend it.

This is a clean, attractive well equipped hotel with a caring and knowledgeable staff. Everything was great. I especially liked the complimentary breakfast. There were many items to choose from and all the items I selected were delicious. The internet connection was excellent. I recommend it heartily.

Christine at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She is a great asset to the motel. After driving all day from Texas to Nebraska, it was a wonderful experience to have a great reception and great people at the motel. Everyone was very professional and wonderful.

We loved that we were able to check in late. The restaurant was still serving food so we were able to get a late meal. Our room were very comfortable & roomy. We had a nice breakfast before we needed to leave & the options were great.

The hotel is easy to access from the interstate. The staff was pleasant at the hotel. The hotel was clean. The staff at the restaurant was understaffed and took a long time for service. The process of making a reservation was not good. I had to make multiple calls to get the reservation set up correctly. I also had times trying to call the hotel with waiting 10 plus rings and no answer. Overall the hotel was clean and the service was good once on site at the front desk.

Great room, spacious. Comfy bed after a long day of travel. Great breakfast buffet in the morning. Nice to have a restaurant on site. Had 3 adults in the room and had plenty of space. Very clean and new looking. The front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here on a trip from Colorado to the East Coast. We found the hotel to be more than suitable for our needs, but most certainly not at a three or higher star level. The Applebee's in the lobby was a welcome choice for dinner after many hours of driving. The room itself was good, not great. The staff were friendly, but not over the top. We were pleased with the location and ease of access off the thruway. We would probably stay here again if the price was right.

Super comfortable large room. Rm 132 I think. Lobby has a nice fireplace sitting area, and an Applebee's, which is convenient after a day on the road. Not only dog-friendly ---- this hotel had the Best Grassy Dog Walking Area we had seen in 2 months of travel! You might consider adding a dog poop station (bags/trash can), and also a trash can outside all entrances.

hotal is one of the cleanest and service is outstanding. Debbie Dumpert the manager goes above and beyond to great customer service. highly recommend the best western in York nebraska . I stay at some high end hotal in the states but not a good as this small town hotal.

I found this hotel to be very nice inside & out. The desk clerk upon checking in was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I were 100% satisfied. If we go this way again we will definitely book here again. It was more quiet than other hotels. The access from the highway was easy on easy off.

Very nice hotel. Restaurant on site was very nice. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The breakfast counter had items not found at many other Best Western hotels. Hotel was conveniently located across from gas stations and a Baskin Robins Ice Cream store. Yea! Would stay here again.

Stayed one night on a long road trip. Front desk Manager, Kirsten, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and fresh. I would stay here again and highly recommend to friends. Great experience.

Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. I liked that Applebees was connected and I could just run down and get a cup of soup. Wifi and cable worked as it should.

I have checked into this hotel as my truck was being repaired at Frieghtliner across the street. Kirsten who checked me into Best Western was fantastic! Polite, Friendly, funny and explained everything about the hotel and surrounding area. Absolutely a great hotel with great people, very clean and nice rooms. Quiet and best of all they have pet friendly rooms. You wont be disappointed staying at Best Western. Come by and see Kirsten, she will take care of you, make you feel welcomed and make sure your stay is the best it can be. I will be back here if I ever need a good night sleep in Nebraska!

we always stay it best western, love the staff they are always there to help. Its a very clean place to stay the beds are very nice, quiet at night and best of all a place to eat at night, after driving all day its great not to have to get in the car again to go eat and have a drink. The best is they are pet friendly.

thanks for the $25 coupon. Everyone was so pleasant and nice, always smiling. The negative thought was when I opened the door to go in, it seemed dark. Lighter carpet, or a bit of bright color in the carpet would help.

When you arrive you are greeted by very cordial and efficient staff, check in is fast and friendly. Our rooms have always been exceptionally clean, neat quiet and very nicely furnished. Their breakfast is excellent, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage one morning they had biscuits, sausage and gravy. Okay not the healtiest but they have a wide assortment of cereals, yogurt and fruits. Debbie Dumpert is the General Manager and Mike Taylor Front Desk Manager are doing a fantastic job!

We were on a seemingly endless road trip and decided an unscheduled stop was in order. At the Best Western York, we were greeted by THE BEST front desk staff, Kirsten. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable!

Front desk is awesome. Housekeeping did a great job on cleaning my room. My room and stay was awesome. Front desk manager was very easy to get along with and very helpful. Pool was nice to have available for the use.

Good place to stop on CO to MN ski trip. Just off I80, Applebee's on site. Good place to eat without driving, if you like Applebees. Lots of other food choice within a short drive. Have stayed here 3+ times in the past with no problems. Computer systems down on this trip cuased some problems, but hotel staff made it right. Clean rooms, has pool but no hot tub. Hot breakfast has a nice varity of hot and cold items. Well stocked and staffed. No complaints, just eat in the morning and jump back on I80. Price is very good, but NE / CIty adds on too many taxes !

Overall a nice place Staff seemed to care, rooms were nice, Wi-Fi was fast. Breakfast was all right but could use an upgrade in food. The attached restaurant was packed and we still had great service and food and the price for dinner was great. Overall a good deal but the pricing for a nights stay is getting up there.

Make sure rooms are bug free. We had a bed bug in our first room. They did give us a new room but we did not get much sleep. The manager also reimbursed us for the room charge. And explained there policy on dealing with these issues which I was appreciative for. I just hope they did follow through and not give the room to someone else with out fumigation and removal of all possible contamination. I would not wish this on someone else. We went through a similar situation last year where my son picked up some friends ( type of bug which I won't elaborate at this time on). It took us months to figure out what the issue was and still several weeks of dealing with after we finally did figure it out. It was a eye opening experience and makes you think twice before staying somewhere after that. I do not want these things in my house. I could see it being a very major cost and inconvenience to get rid of these things. Hopefully we did not get any. We haven't seen any up to this point.

We like this hotel, we have stayed here before when traveling to and from Arizona. It's nice and clean. We especially like the Applebee's attached to it. We like to sit down and have a drink and a good meal after traveling all day.

Spent the night in late March. Stayed here mostly because we didn't want to have to venture out for supper and we were happy with our choice. Niice,quiiet, clean and comfortable simple room. Room had some updates and was good for an somewhat older hotel. Breakfast for us was good, eggs, toasty, bacon, waffles, biscuits and gravy, fruit, yogurt, etc. The problem is that just after us they ran out of scrambled eggs, but I never saw any staff check on things for the entire time we were at breakfast. Several couples simply resigned to the fact there were none. I question that is it up to really up to the guests to roust staff out to do their job? If more items are cooking at least come out once in a while and tell people.

York was about halfway between my home and my destination, and the BW there has all the amenities I like, plus an Applebee's on-site, which was SO EASY to patronize without more driving. My room was quiet, and I parked in front of the building because when traveling alone, I usually don't use side access keyed doors to get into a hotel. I got a REAL break after eight straight hours of driving, and was made to feel welcome and safe at the BW in York. I ate alone in the Applebee's right off the lobby, and really enjoyed my solo venture.

This best western is a very good stop on the road. The rooms are a nice size and clean. Nice and quiet. Applebees rignt in the building is very good after a long days drive and one does not want to go anywhere. The manager was really nice. Will diffently stay here again next time thru.

My experience at this motel began with a very courteous and friendly greeting from the man at the front desk as I entered and ended with a warm "Come back soon" the next morning. Every staff member I met had a smile and was helpful. After driving all day, I needed that and the warm, friendly attitude throughout my stay made me feel at home and among friends throughout my stay. When I got to my room, I opened the door and smelled... nothing. No aroma to distract from a perfectly clean and well-appointed room. If the five pillows on the comfortable bed weren't enough (and they certainly were for me), the was a spare pillow and an extra blanket in the closet. I generally try to find a local, "non-chain" restaurant for dinner but the Applebee's inside the Best Western was too good to pass up, especially since I had spent more than enough time in my car that day. The Applebee's food and service continued my great experience. After a very good night's sleep, I had one of the best free breakfasts ever at a Best Western. The hot breakfast included both western and cheese omelets, link sausage, biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, fresh fruit (that was truly fresh) and on and on and on. Choices galore!!!! I will go out of my way to stay here again!!! Deserves every one of those five stars!!!!

This is our 3rd time staying at the BW Plus York Hotel & Conference Center. Each time has been exceptional! The caring staff is beyond expectation. The rooms are so comfortable and with dinning available on site, it is a perfect place to spend the night after a long day of travel. You will be very pleased if you stay here.

Stayed at this hotel with a group. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Nice lobby area. Applebees inside hotel was nice as well. Kids swam in the pool area, which was nice as well. No hot tub. Breakfast was typical hotel free breakfast, cereals, eggs, bacon, waffles, and some fruit and muffins/bagels. Breakfast area was clean and food was good.

We always stay here when traveling to Nebraska. They tend to have the best rates with the best quality! It's an added bonus that Applebee's is in the lobby. The suits are obviously the nicest rooms and worth the upgrade. The staff is very friendly.

The front desk was very friendly and accommodating especially the night manager who went out of his way to help us in the room. Our first room was not cleaned from the night before but when we got moved it was clean but had a smell to it and the ice machine was loud and kept us up all night and we couldn't call the front desk because there were no phone in the room. Breakfast could have been better especially the dry eggs. Applebees service was slow but friendly. Don't know if we will stay there anytime soon.

We had a group of tour passengers stay at this hotel and they enjoyed it tremendously. The staff was very polite and friendly. The breakfast area was spacious and the fact that there is a gluten free waffle maker was impressive and truly appreciated. We will be back again!!

My family and I stayed here for a mini "staycation". The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The heated pool was a hit with everyone and the breakfast was very good!! This place has all the look and feel of a big city stay, only better! One word of advice, don't get ripped off booking through a 3rd party site! We learned this the hard way and wish we would have called them directly; would have saved us $30!

The staff was the most courteous and outgoing group I have seen or come in contact with in a very long time. Daryl Flauta, the manager while we were there was superb in extending every courtesy possible.

We were in town for a family funeral and were referred to this hotel. The staff treated us very well. We will definitely stay here again. We will also refer others to this hotel as well. The location is very convenient. It is also nice to know that we can bring our pets if we need to.
