"Wedding Weekend 9/9/18"

Myself, my wife, and bridal party stayed this hotel. Wonderful staff, everyone was super helpful. All the rooms were really nice, clean, and great up keeping. Free parking for all guest, and close to the highway which was great. Buffet breakfast was average, and could have been a much better, but the dinner menu was really good. Overall experience was really, and I will be returning as a guest to this hotel.

We were on Long Island for a family event and decided to spend a couple of nights at a hotel. Looking at TripAdvisor, there are not a lot of hotels close to where the family lives, but Westbury was close enough. Viana is rated #1 and for good reason. Location is easy to get to from the highway, Brush Hollow Road is not a crazy busy area. If you belong to BJ's, there's a BJ's gasoline station right across from the hotel. Parking is free though on a busy Saturday night you might have to park on the side street along the side of the hotel property. However Viana offers valet parking as well. We were warmly greeted by the hotel front desk manager, Kasey Wurth. It was a bit chaotic w/ several wedding parties heading out in all their finery; Kasey learning that we were not wedding guests but there for other reasons, gave us a room far from the maddening crowd which we appreciated. Coffee & tea is complimentary - coffee is available as long as the restaurant, Marco Polo, is open for business. A booking tip, if you join Best Western, when you book on the Best Western website, you get a really good discounted room rate. It was much better than booking on the actual Viana Spa website. There is a breakfast buffet but it wasn't included as part of the standard Best Western rate. Some of the hotel packages include breakfast, but it wasn't too expensive @ $13.95 per person. We had a leisurely breakfast - the short order chef made us each an omelet which was very good and we split an order of French Toast. The usual bacon, link & patty sausage. The potatoes were like deep-fried cubes of potatoes w/ onions & peppers, not to my liking. Plenty of fresh fruit, juice, real bagels from Bagel Boss which is always a treat when you stay at a hotel in New York. I had looked at several places for breakfast in Westbury and the hotel's breakfast buffet was a great deal in comparison and no need to leave the hotel to have a hot breakfast. We received excellent service from the waitresses and I noticed how productive and hardworking they were. It was quite noticeable how service-oriented the hotel staff is, from the front desk manager to the bellman. I ran into the front desk manager, Kasey Wurth, and just mentioned that though she did put us in a quieter area of the hotel, there was still some late night hallway noise but it wasn't too bad. She comped us our breakfast as compensation for the minimal hallway noise! I was very impressed w/ how she wanted us to have an exceptional experience at the Viana Hotel! It's nice that she has that kind of latitude to make her customers feel very important and special. The room was very nice and I loved that the easy chair is a recliner! The flatscreen TV had a very good selection of cable stations. Wifi worked well, the room had a microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, & refrigerator. I spoke with Erika by phone about doing makeup for my sister and I while in NYC for a wedding. I was impressed immediately by how responsive and how accommodating she was and she was over the phone as I was a little uncertain about what I wanted. She did AMAZING makeup for me & my sister and she even offered to do my Mom's makeup at the last minute! Super friendly, but most of all, super talented-we all looked and felt fabulous when she was done! Definitely contact Erika if you are looking for gorgeous makeup!

"Our wedding weekend!"

What began as a simple reservation for me, my immediate family and small wedding party to stay at the Viana the night before our wedding became an entire wedding weekend, complete with a rehearsal dinner for over 40 people the night before the wedding, a wedding after party in the hotel bar/game room, and a wedding breakfast the next day. Erin was fantastic through all stages of the planning, guiding us at every step and making everything happen flawlessly. The food and the staff at the Viana were amazing; our guests truly enjoyed themselves as did we. I can wholeheartedly recommend The Viana as a wonderful place to stay and as a venue for special events. Erin was an absolute professional and a love to work with!

The Viana Hotel & Spa in Westbury is a great property. Location is extremely convenient in Westbury, price is an incredible value for Long Island hotels, it's clean, comfortable, quiet, and the staff is terrific.

I had the best makeup experience with Erika ever. She was amazing from the minute we walked in the door. She made you feel very comfortable and asked all the right questions. She completely understood what I was going for and knew exactly what to do. She gave me the perfect amount of glam and still left me feeling like myself. "Great getaway(even though it's 15 minutes from our house)"

My husband and I found this hotel and spa to stay overnight, relax and get a full night sleep away from work, kids and dogs. When we arrived the lovely girl at the front desk said Our room need about 5 minutes to be ready so we went to the bar to have a drink before our massage appointment. Christina the bartender was super friendly as well as the manager who talked soccer(futbol) with my husband. I wasn't expecting much from a hotel massage but Suzanne and Christina were both great. After relaxing in our room which is clean and spacious, we decided to have dinner in the hotel. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a Delicious dinner. Fried shumai with peanut sauce and penne saki was surprisingly delicious if you like a little ginger. My husband had calamari and Thai skirt steak which was also just as good. Christina, Stephanie and Giordana we're taking care of the bar as well as all of the tables. They were a great team working together to make sure everyone was taken care of. My husband and I are in the hospitality industry and I think it's important to express gratitude to those who take the time to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. The people in this hotel do that. We will definitely return!

We find ourselves traveling to Long Island quite frequently and wish we had known about this place sooner! We found ourselves wowed all the time. From the moment we walked in, three or four staff members were greeting us and welcoming us. The property is clean, updated and obviously well maintained. We stayed in a king room and these rooms are so well appointed. The bathroom in the rooms are nicer than my house! The rooms are quiet, have excellent WiFi, super comfortable beds, a little mini kitchen-nook area and big screen tv. The bathroom was clean, luxurious and had good water pressure (great after a long week of traveling)! This hotel was central to many places in the area and convenient to many of the major roadways. The staff was at all times friendly and always willing to help. The spa and pool area was nice as well. This hotel was such a great value and I can't wait to stay again!

Staff was very courteous. Hotel was very clean and newly decorated. Lobby restaurant did not have great service for dinner, but otherwise this place is highly recommended. We stayed for a wedding and found the accommodations to be very nice.

Booked a suite at the hotel, very nice . The pullout sofa was a big disappointment, the person could not sleep on it. The front desk staff were EXCELLENT, any complaint or issue was dealt with immediately. The breakfast was also very good and the staff in the restaurant were also very nice !

"perfectly located for theatre"

I stayed for one night to attend a concert at the nearby theatre. The front desk team were friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. I was travelling by train to and from NYC and the hotel was very good with advice before I arrived. When a cab didn't show up to take me to Hicksville station after checking out, one of the hotel staff cheerfully drove me to the station himself. Very good hotel that I'll use again if I'm back at the theatre there.

"Great service"

I live only 25 minutes from this hotel and spa. We participated in the Staycation package. I gifted this to my mom for Mother's Day. Kasey, the front office manager, was my first impression. Back in April when I was looking to create this event for mom and me she was there to help. Kasey kept in contact with me via email and made sure that all was ready for when we checked in. The Staycation package included a spa treatment for each of us, complementary drinks at the bar that night, a five course meal, and breakfast in the morning. We requested an early check-in so that we would be able to change into our spa clothes and be able to have the room afterwards to shower. We checked into room 108 which they ask housekeeping to make up immediately. The room was nice. Two double beds. A nice size bathroom. It had an iron, blow dryer, microwave, safe, and refrigerator. The beds were very short. I'm only 5'4" and my mom is 5 feet and our feet were hanging over the bed. We noticed something etched on the Valore panels above our bed which we brought to the front desk managers attention upon checkout. Definitely not appropriate and hopefully something will be done about it. The spa: The spa is on the lower level of this hotel. They appear to do hair and nails, facials and massages. Both mom and I enjoyed a 50 minute Swedish massage. My massage therapist was Veronica, the manager of the spa and my mom had Susan. We both enjoyed our treatment very much. The air conditioning downstairs in the spa was not working well at all. It was very humid and it made it hard to breathe. There aren't many amenities downstairs for yo, in regards to showering afterwards. There's one shower. There's one blow dryer and it's in a small little space that is known as the locker room. So to take a shower inside the small little space would've made it very humid in that room for people who are changing in and out of their spa robes. Mom and I opted to shower upstairs in our room. That was disappointing because a true spa should have shampoo, lotion, hairdryer, Q-tips, razors and showers towels. The spa did not meet our standards. We stayed at a spa out east on Long Island at the East Wind and that was a beautiful spa. Fully- equipped. After our spa treatments mom and I drove to the Roosevelt field mall. It was only seven minutes away. There's nothing to do at the Vianna property. We returned back to the hotel and we proceeded to go to the bar. Claudia was one of the bartenders. She was so sweet. She made mom and I a Ketel one cucumber mint Mojito. Absolutely delicious. She was also so communicative withus while we were dining at the Marco polo restaurant. As I said earlier the package included a five course meal. Claudia spoke with us about her aspirations to become a buyer and seller in the fashion merchandise industry. Christina was another one of the bartenders who used her creativity to make a strawberry daiquiri Mojito. She too spoke to us about her Italian roots and was extremely personable. Both women served us our meals. The food was amazing. Both mom and I never thought you can get a great meal at a hotel restaurant. I will be reviewing the Marco Polo restaurant next. Please look for my review. Paul, the chef, can cook anything. Fresh tomato sauce. Delicious strip steak. The next morning we went downstairs for a large American breakfast. Everything under the sun.

For an overnight stay, this was a fine hotel; but not the premier experience I expected. Rooms were pretty standard, very small pool, and, while the spa experience was acceptable, it didn't wow me. All in all, fine, but not wonderful.

We like to think of our hotel as a small oasis in this concrete jungle. We are centrally located to three major highways that with just a short ten minute drive, will bring you to major shopping areas, business district and a large variety of dining. Should you choose not to leave the hotel, our guests have joined us time and again at our on-site restaurant Marco Polo's, for a delicious experience of Asian, Italian and fusion foods. Our Chef has created a delectable menu for any palate to enjoy. We have many amenities to offer our guests as we are a full service hotel. Our rooms are clean and well-appointed with some of the comforts of home. Our common area is a open a sunny space for a little relaxation and in the winter a fireplace is lit for a cozy atmosphere. There is a game room just upstairs from the entrance with a pool table and a variety of games for families and friends alike to enjoy. Our spa area has a zen room for our guests to relax quietly in while waiting for their treatment. We have a wonderful spa that our guests choose to experience a little me time. There is a peaceful zen room where you can enjoy low lighting and peaceful music, while awaiting your treatment. Our staff is well versed in their craft and very knowledgeable a out our products and how they can benefit our guests should they request andy suggestions. There is a sauna and a pool to cool off in after the sauna or a space for families to enjoy. Our pool is not large, but our guests enjoy the option of having the pool as a getaway place. We hope that you were treated to the top-notch customer service that we are known for. From our front desk, to housekeeping, to the restaurant, to the spa, our staff work diligently to deliver a memorable experience for our guests. "Great choice for wedding party"

We came with a large group for a family wedding. They handled the crowd well. Service for private meals was very good, although food itself was just okay. Front desk was very helpful and pleasant, despite having 3 or 4 wedding parties at the same time, all with special requests for attention.

"Very Nice!"

This was our third stay at the Viana as it is the preferred hotel of my husbands company. The Viana is great all around but not the best location if you want to be in the action. It's an $8-10 cab ride to the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) and a 45 minute ride to Penn Station in NYC. The train doesn't stop in Westbury late at night so you have to go to Hicksville which is a $15 cab ride to the Viana. The hotel is clean and staff is awesome. If you want a quiet hotel on Long Island, the Viana is perfect.

"Average hotel, tiny pool for 2"

Stayed here for 2 nights with the family. Pictures on the website are definitely much better than in person. Our room is average size & clean. A little outdated. Location is ok, you need a car to get to some parts of the area. Our biggest disappointment is the pool. They should've disclosed that it's only good for 2 people (Yup, only for 2), I have 3 kids so we just maxed the pool capacity. Thank goodness nobody else was using the pool at that time. The so-called sauna/steam room was not working either. There are other chain hotels close by. I would look into them first. Apart from the good customer service, this hotel is definitely overpriced for what you get.

Should you choose not to leave the hotel, our guests have joined us time and again at our on-site restaurant Marco Polo's, for a delicious experience of Asian, Italian and fusion foods. Our Chef has created a delectable menu for any palate to enjoy. Our rooms are clean and well-appointed with some of the comforts of home for our guests to enjoy. Our common area is a open a sunny space for a little relaxation and in the winter a fireplace is lit for a cozy atmosphere. We hope that you enjoyed this. There is a game room just upstairs from the entrance with a pool table and a variety of games for families and friends alike to enjoy. Our spa area has a zen room for our guests to relax quietly in while waiting for their treatment. There is a sauna and a pool to cool off in after the sauna or a space for families to enjoy. We apologize for the issues with the sauna during your stay. The issue has since been resolved. Our pool is not large, but our guests enjoy the option of having the pool as a getaway place for the children to enjoy. "Bachelorette Weekend!"

I just hosted a bachelorette party weekend at the Viana and utilized there spajama package! The spajama package included the overnight stay, a massage, a spa gift, mimosas, a choice of chick flicks, and lots of snacks for a girls night in. It was wonderful !! We also stayed an extra night as well. There were a few hiccups, as there is anywhere, but the staff completely went above and beyond to do what they could to compensate for it. We utilized the board room in the restaurant for dinner to accommodate 14. We had a prefixed menu and they even wrote the bachelorettes name at the top, it was absolutely adorable! The room was set up with black linen and silver charger plates and it looked awesome. The spa is absolutely fantastic !! The jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and pool were so relaxing we spent a lot of our time in there. I had Oliver for my massage and he was phenomenal! The two woman at the spa desk were AMAZING!! Veronica and I can't remember the other woman's name but they went above and beyond while we were down there and made for great company too ! The breakfast buffet was included for both mornings and the spread is so much better than most! I would also just like to say that Kasey is a complete rockstar! I was in contact with her for months prior leading up to this weekend and she was always extremely helpful and responsive via email. Once we arrived Kasey made sure we got everything we needed. She had set everything up for us from our rooms to our private dinner! Although 2 out of 3 rooms were not ready upon check in, She had 2 bottles of champagne on ice and a fruit platter with a welcome card for the bride to be waiting in the room! I will definitely say that Kasey and the girls down at the spa really made our weekend a memorable one ! Thank you so much Kasey for accommodating us!!

"Wedding Room Block"

Our guests had such a wonderful experience staying at The Viana Hotel & Spa. Erin, Bella and the entire Viana staff did an amazing job accommodating our requests, helping to arrange shuttle transportation the day of the wedding, and catering to our out of town visitors. The food at Marco Polo is delicious! Some members of our bridal party utilized the Spa downstairs to help get ready for the big day and everyone looked absolutely beautiful thanks to Erika and her team. Our venue was the Westbury Manor and they were amazing at coordinating with them and making it a seamless process to accommodate our guests. When we got back to our bridal suite, we were met with rose petals and champagne - so sweet! We can't recommend The Viana Hotel & Spa enough. If you choose to work with them, reach out to Erin and you will not be disappointed. She is an absolute professional and amazing to work with.

"Birthday Party"

My wife and I held our daughter, Madison's, 1st birthday at the hotels party room June 16, 2018. The party had 90 guests and our priority was to have our celebration be very special-as special as our baby girl is. Boy, did they not only deliver a great party, but exceeded all of our expectations! Besides the room being beautiful, the food being delicious, and every minor detail being addressed, working with both Erin in creating the details and Bella, running the party, made it that much more of an incredible experience. Erin stayed in touch from the day we booked the party- helping with ideas and planning every detail. At the party, we had a serious challenge with one of our 3rd party vendors (not associated with the hotel) and Bella came through for us big time to alleviate anxiety and concern by handling our difficulties behind the scenes and not having it impact our time at the party. To say Bella “saved the day” around something that didn't directly impact the hotel is a major understatement. Her only concern was to have the party be as special as we wanted. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel and facility for your special event. Not only is the place beautiful, but the level of support, connection we felt from everyone in support of our daughters special day will make this a memorable event for the rest of our lives!

GREAT EXPERIENCE! my husband and I were looking For a venue for our wedding reception, every place we found was either too small to fit our guests or they would have a minimum of 100 to 125 people for a Saturday night. We came across Viana Hotel, they not only were able to accommodate our 65 guests, but they put me in contact with vendors that did an amazing job. Working with Erin as our event coordinator was awesome, she was very helpful and super professional. She made our special day unforgettable!! Thank you Erin you are THE BEST!!

My husband and I booked the Viana for our wedding room block, our rehearsal dinner,our after party and our brunch. I am soooooo glad we did this all with the Viana Hotel. Let me start by saying the event manager is the BEST. Erin would always quickly respond to my questions, requests and was on hand to help with anything I needed. The room where we had the brunch and rehearsal dinner was set up perfectly. They give you plenty of options for food and drink. I also loved the honeymoon suite my husband and I were given. The night of our wedding they left us with Champaign and decorated the bed and room with rose pedals. It was so sweet! Overall, they made the events and experience outside of the wedding seamless. This was everything because planning a wedding can be stressful enough. If you are getting married at any of the venues in Nassau county, then this is hands down the place to stay!

Excellent service, excellent staff, in the top 2 biggest and well-appointed rooms/suites, very comfortable bed,comes with micro-wave, fridge, and room-safe, fantastic included spa/fitness center (with infinity pool, sauna, and steam room) very guest-friendly amenities, and clean-updated building. We were unable to make time to try their available restaurant/buffet-breakfast but the room and hardware looked to be excellent.

Nice rooms, great staff. We had a double bed room and even though there seemed to be enough room for a cot, we were told it was against fire code. If it was a king bed they could have done it. Seemed to have good sound proofing above our floor but not for the hallway noise, heard every conversation in the hall at ALL hours. My daughter and I got our makeup done for the wedding by Erika Jansen at the Spa. It was a fabulous experience. We both looked AMAZING for our family portraits later in the day. I had only called a few days before we arrived and she figured out a way to fit us into the busy schedule.(HINT: Call ahead) Amanda did a great job with our hair and made sure it survived the humid day.

"Best friend spa sleepover"

I met my best friend at this hotel for a spa getaway. The hotel is very pretty and super clean. The staff was attentive and greeted us every time we went in. We were in a room with two queen beds and it was a nice size. The room and bathroom were clean and attractive. I had a great massage from Suzanne. She asked about my needs/accommodations for the massage (which made me feel comfortable) and wasn't too chatty. There is a tiny hot tub (which was REALLY hot) and small pool. The indoor pool had jets... and I think it was the type of pool that lets you swim without “moving”.... ;) The hotel is in a prime location, with lots of restaurants and eateries nearby. The only thing missing is a place to sit outside and relax. It would have been awesome if there was an outdoor pool and/or place to chill with a good book. It is in a commercialized area... lacking a “pretty spot” to chat with a friend outdoors. On the whole, we had a great time and I would definitely go again!! I hope this is helpful! :)

"Amazing service"

We used the Viana Hotel and Spa for our wedding weekend. From the beginning Erin and Bella were extremely helpful from setting up the room block, giving us a great rate for our guests, and setting up a brunch for the morning after for our guests. They made the process of working with the hotel incredibly easy. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean. My husband stayed in one of the suites to use for getting ready pictures the day of the wedding and the suites were amazing and I cannot wait to see how fantastic the pictures came out. The rooms are spacious and the beds are really comfortable. I would definitely recommend the viana to anyone traveling to western long island.

One of the best hot stone massages I've ever had. Serene relaxation room with tea, water and fruit. Clean and well run. We ate at the restaurant as well and the food was good. Definitely try their signature dessert, a s'mores egg roll!

We felt very welcome at Viana. The room was huge and the beds really comfortable. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast there. In addition they have coffee, water and fruits available in the lobby all day. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We chose this hotel for a trip into the Hampton's and we were not disappointed.

We stayed here 2 years ago for a family affair. Came back to a welcoming staff. The lobby bar is great and fully stocked. Beds comfy and rooms are spacious. Very clean hotel. Great location to the Long Island Expressway. Thx to Vanessa and Casey for taking good care of us. See you in September!

I've stayed at this hotel several times, since my son attends Hofstra University and I travel from Minneapolis. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the breakfast is pleasant, the rooms are spotless, and all of the staff are very professional. I will return.

"Beautiful hotel and spa"

We stayed at this beautiful hotel on Friday the 13th as part of a family wedding celebration. We had driven from North Carolina and arrived at 1 PM, and were able to check in immediately. Every person we dealt with was kind and friendly. They could not do enough for us. I also had a hair and make up appointment at the spa downstairs and I must say the girls there were fantastic. If you ever need to spend a quality visit in a beautiful place on Long Island, look no further and go to the Viana hotel and spa.

I stayed here for the night before my wedding and the night of. My stay and the staff was absolutely terrific! The suite was spacious and beautiful for pictures. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was truly a wonderful stay! In regards to my wedding makeup, I booked Erika about a year out from my wedding when I found her info on the Viana's website. For the entire year leading up to my wedding, Erika was easy to get in touch with and was always so professional and responsive. Anytime I had a question or a worry, she always made me feel assured and at ease. It was also a big help that she was able to recommend a hair stylist for me and my bridal party. Being able to have full use of the Viana's Salon for me and my girls the morning of the wedding was such a terrific experience. It made all the girls, and myself, feel so relaxed and comfortable during the getting ready process. Erika made sure to be in contact with both myself and the hotel prior to the wedding day to make sure that everything went smooth that morning - a huge help when you realize all that you need to do that week leading up to the big day. Erika spent so much time with me that morning to make sure that I looked completely flawless and ready for pictures. I have to say that as someone who can overthink things and pick out little imperfections, I did not do this AT ALL with Erika. I truly knew that I was in the best hands possible and completely loved how my makeup turned out. She really helped me be relaxed and at ease when it came to my beauty routine for that day. In addition, she went above and beyond by making a trip to my hall (after my pictures and right before my ceremony) to do touch ups and reapply lashes. She even gave my husband a bit of powder to get rid of his shine ;) All in all, my wedding day would not have been the same without Erika's help and talent. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Erika! Which is why this post is so long (& detailed)! I've never had my makeup professionally done & have always just applied it myself for events. However, I obviously wanted to have my wedding day be a treat (especially because nerves & eyeliner don't mix!)! During my hair & makeup trial with Erika, she made me feel so at ease & excited. Both her and the hairstylist she partnered with were able to create exactly the look I imagined. When a few months later, I completely changed up the wedding day look I wanted, I knew Erika would have no problem executing it & when I shared the news with her on the phone, she didn't pause a beat, just told me to send some pics. She probably didn't expect the several page document I provided detailing different aspects of certain makeup & hair looks I liked and wanted to combine together into a look I couldn't find anywhere! On my wedding day Labor Day weekend, my nerves were making a mess of my chronic pain & anxiety but Erika's bubbly personality had me in such a light-hearted, distracted mood, it kept many of the symptoms I normally experience at bay—a major bonus you wouldn't expect from your makeup artist. My pain causes me to frequently reposition and each time, she patiently paused & went with it. ? My makeup itself was supreme. I asked for a glowy/Victoria Secret angel-esque look using airbrushing, with eyes that matched my wedding palette (rose gold/blush, burgundy) and Erika nailed it. She really knows how to listen to her clients, checks with them throughout the process on her progress in creating their dream façade, and takes any feedback & runs with it (or shares her professional opinion if it might not make the best appearance in photos). Any time I felt we could maybe add a little sparkle or shade somewhere, it was like she was reading my mind the moment I opened my mouth to say it or ask, and immediately created what I was thinking. I've never felt more beautiful & it showed in all my wedding photos. My bridesmaids & my mother all looked gorgeous. My mom has also never had her makeup professionally done and seeing her feel so beautiful made my heart explode—my mother was glowing in every single one of our photos. One of Erika's own brand of lip glosses even happened to be perfect berry shade for both my mom's & my complexions (nudes & pale pinks wash us out too much), so Erika made sure we had some for the remainder of the night. The hairstylists she partners with are the best. Just before my wedding, the hairstylist I worked with during my trial injured her arm & couldn't do my hair, but Erika assured me she had someone just as fabulous. Sasha is a rare gem. The kind of rare gem who takes your idea & then transforms it into something more magnificent than you can imagine. I needed my hair swept to the side over one shoulder because of a backdrop necklace I was wearing, but I also wanted it down & soft & romantic. I showed Sasha some pictures that had features I liked (fishtail braid, beachy waves) and the extensions I brought to help make the look work, she nodded & went to it. As she went, my mom & bridesmaids were oohing and ahhing—I couldn't see much from my vantage but man, the suspense! When I finally did get to see I was blown away. I never could have even dreamt up what Sasha created. One of my longtime friends termed it “khaleesi-chic” and that's the perfect description. Braids upon braids wrapped around the side & back of my head in a soft, almost magical way. In the front, she had created the most romantic braid (with no tie @the end!!!) that lay with the beachy waves draped over my shoulder. It was BEYOND! And every piece of it was still in place at the end of the night. When my brother-in-law got engaged a couple months after our wedding, my future sister-in-law called asking whom I used and I raved about Erika. To my excitement she decided to use Erika for her own & our bridesmaids' makeup for her wedding this April. Again all of our makeup was outstanding. This day, Erika created a completely different, subdued natural look for me and I felt just as beautiful as I did on my own wedding day. My sister-in-law was absolutely stunning and just glowed. Every time I get to work with Erika it's a pleasure, and I will continue to recommend/use her every single time I need to look my best!

I am taking the time to send this email not only because my stay at your Hotel/Spa was amazing, but because your employee Casey who helped me from the moment I walked in the door made sure it was just that, amazing. Everything I needed and any questions I had, (which I had a few) the young man was more than patient with answering. He made sure my girlfriend and I were comfortable throughout our entire stay and for that I would like to make sure he got the recognition he deserves. I will definitely be returning to your Hotel/Spa in the future and will be happy to recommend any family/friends. "Expected much more..."

Let me start with the positive things: *Staff was welcoming *Lobby was nice (not spectacular, very nice) *Room was large / spacious *Bathroom updated *Shower was best part, beautiful tile, powerful shower (no trickle) and nice hot water. Unfirtunately, I was unimpressed with the tacky cheap furniture. For a boutique hotel, they could have done better. *Colors were depressing. I have traveled to Kyoto and Tokyo and I am very familiar w feng shui . They could have done better. *PH floor had a couple that was fighting ... really truly fighting...from 7pm to 1am. When I spoke to the service desk the next a.m., they apoligized and stated that security was upstairs? (I would have ejected them from the premises. *Fire alarms go off at 10pm. I grab my glasses shoes and keys ready to dash before they go off. No call, no apology. Next a.m. I am told it was was sweet 16 party, smoke from candles?

Not only are we a Feng Shui designed hotel but we are also a LEED certified, green hotel as well! While building the Viana Hotel we worked directly with a professional Feng Shui designer to create our beautiful guest rooms. Feng Shui is a pseudoscience originating from China which uses energy forces to harmonize individuals with their surrounding environments. The neutral colors in our guest rooms were chosen to create a soothing environment! Our goal is to always maintain a positive chi through out the hotel! We are sorry to hear that you did not find the furniture in the Viana to your liking as you did at other hotels which followed the Japanese guidelines of Feng Shui also known as Fusui which only utilizes the two elements wind and water. We do apologize that the guests on your floor disturbed your stay. Our security guards are trained to diffuse these circumstances and are on site just a call away to ensure that all guests in the hotel can enjoy a good nights sleep! We did not receive any calls that night of the couple fighting as you are correct, we would have kindly asked the guests to leave the property if the fighting did not stop as our guests in house deserve to receive the relaxing Viana experience that we aim for each time! We are truly sorry about the incident with the fire alarm, unfortunately, the smoke that was caused by all 16 candles being blown out at one time created a much larger smoke cloud than expected! Our fire alarm system is in place to go off as soon as smoke is detected to ensure the safety of our guests. Once the fire alarm sounds the procedure is for our guests to evacuate the building, the front desk is trained to first target the situation, call the fire department and then let our guests know that it is safe to enter the building. Once guests are congregated into the lobby and public areas we are then able to inform all guests at once that the building is safe and secure. We do not have the man power to call each room individually. We are happy to know that you enjoyed the room amenities and were treated to excellent customer service by your wonderful staff! They strive to keep our guests happy and are the heart of our hotel! They truly exemplify what it means to provide great customer service with a smile! We hope you will give us a second chance in the future to redeem ourselves as we would love to give you the true Viana experience that you would come to expect from a property of our caliber! "Wedding - Nor'Easter"

Stayed here for a fabulous wedding that was held nearby on the weekend of 3/2. This particular weekend was hit with a Nor'Easter storm, but that did not affect our stay! We asked for early check-in without a problem. So happy to get here early to enjoy a great lunch at the restaurant and a few drinks served by a wonderful bartender. From the time we arrived, we were greeted with the most attentive staff. Even though the hotel lost partial power because of the storm and we encountered a bit of a problem ourselves, the hotel staff could not be more accommodating to help in any way they could. They went above and beyond. Loved the atmosphere of this hotel, and I loved the wonderful things that I overheard about the general manager (by his staff and guests) during such a trying time. Kudos to you all! The entire hotel staff and restaurant should be proud of such a well-run establishment, especially under the circumstances! We were not disappointed!!

The room was clean and comfortable. Very close to shopping and eating. The staff is friendly and very accomadating. They have shuttles to take you where your going. I would definitely go here again-better than the Hilton in my humble opinion

"No power? No Problem!"

My 6 girl friends and I just stayed at the hotel this past weekend. There was a terrible storm Friday night knocking power out to the hotel, along with many other places. The hotel generators didn't cover full power, but all the public areas had lights. 2 of my friends didn't come, knowing there was no power before they arrived and while we initially thought they were the smart ones, we realized they missed out. None of the rooms we stayed in had lights so we hung out in the restaurant all night. Dinner was very tasty, even with the limited menu due to the power loss, we all felt well fed. The hotel plied us with free rounds of drinks (which helped numb us to the temperature drop) and the staff was surpisingly pleasant and cheery, even with all the grumpy people! The manager, Kaycee, went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure that our stay was every bit what we had hoped it would be when we all shuffled our busy schedules to make this overnight happen. The power came back on about 2am and the rooms instantly warmed up. The next day at the spa was amazing. Christina made sure we were well taken care of and the spa package was a great deal. Everything was just as we hoped. The memories of blow drying our hair and doing makeup in the hallway (where there was power) and peeing by candle light will make this overnight stand out in our minds forever. Thanks Kaycee and the whole staff working this weekend. You were great!

The staff here is absolutely amazing and will do everything they can to accommodate you needs. I was here for 11 nights with 3 kids and a dog and felt welcome and at home throughout our entire stay. The entire staff is amazing especially the front manager Kasey. She is processional, understanding and down to earth. I arrived having one of the worst days of my life and Kacey and Vanessa both went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at ease about my stay. I could not have picked a better place. If you are here one night or 1 month they give 110% to make it a wonderful positive experience.

This was our second stay for another wedding. The one before was last April. The minute you walk in the door you are treated to friendly service and assistance. Due to circumstances, we needed to stay for an extended period of time. The front desk staff were extremely understanding and exceeded our expectations. The rooms were nicely appointed and well kept. I came here with my family and the staff here is truly awesome. Such kind people, great food and service. The spa is a luxury and totally a must if you're looking for a relaxing and fun time. The bar has a great atmosphere and the game room is fun for those family moments. If you're looking for a girls night out, family vacation, or just time to hang with the boys, I definitely recommend coming to the Viana Spa and Hotel.

We went with the family for a night to get out of the house. My wife, myself and the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel aims to please and even allowed me to change the date of my visit though I bought room on Hotwire which is notoriously tough to get a refund with. Would go again to this fine hotel.

"Romantic Getaway"

Excellent on-site restaurant, courtesy staff, indoor pool, sauna, steamroom, gym, and spa. We have been here 3 times. Rooms are spacious and some have jacuzzi tubs. Right across the street is a movie theater which you can walk to if you don't want to take your car. Love it here.

"Birthday Stay"

My daughter booked a room for me for my birthday. Everything was great. Clean room...only issue light switch at the door wasn't working. Food and drinks at Marco Polo restaurant were great. Spa was great...spent some time in the pool and sauna. Best part was my massage with Oliver. I left there feeling fabulous and I'll be back soon real soon.

"Fantastic- Wedding Block Success!"

We LOVED this hotel!! We selected the Viana for our wedding block after visiting with them. It was an easy choice for us after seeing the hotel and meeting with Erin. Throughout the whole process, Erin was by our side, emailing us updated rooming lists, informing us about the brunch process, and helping to just check in to see how our planning was going. She, as well as the entire staff, went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. When the day arrived, we had over 60 rooms booked for our wedding in December and EVERY guest spoke highly of how great the hotel was. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and modern. The Viana itself is just such a nice hotel with a great ambiance. The Spa is an awesome addition too, so definitely check it out! After the wedding was over, we had the bar open for our guests; which was a great addition. Our guests enjoyed having the option to play pool, watch some tv, and enjoy a few drinks. Then, the next morning we held a delicious brunch for around 100 guests. The food was great and the perfect ending to our wedding weekend. If you are ever looking for a wedding block, a Long Island luxury stay, or even a staycation, you should look no further. Thank you so much to Erin and the staff at the Viana for making our stay a trip to remember! We are already looking forward to our stay for a friend's wedding in June!

"Beautiful Property"

We attended a wedding at Jericho Terrace and this is where we stayed. I can't say enough good things about the Hotel and their accommodating staff. From arrival to departure everything went very smoothly. We were provided transportation to and from the wedding and when there was a snag with the flowers being left behind they were right there to help us help the bride and groom get what they wanted without a hitch. There's a nice breakfast offering in the morning for anyone staying over; there's a bar and pool room as well. If you in the area a need to lay your head in a clean room with a marvelous staff; look no further.

While the esthetic quality of a hotel is extremely important the difference between a good stay and a great stay is the hotel staff. From the moment I walked in the door I felt not only welcomed but truly special. Casey at the front desk was extremely friendly and showed genuine enthusiasm in meeting me. I wanted a quick getaway for my birthday and Casey truly set the stage for a wonderful night! The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and customer service was very quick. Nice stay!

"Birthday spa day "

Went to the spa at Viana for the first time for my birthday for a half day of beauty for myself & 2 other women. One of my party had a delayed flight due to snow that day & missed her first 2 appointments. (Later on the staff squeezed her in for a facial as they had a last minute cancellation!)I explained the situation on our arrival & the staff was so understanding & accommodating. They told me not to worry about it & that they would take care of her whenever she arrived. My daughter & I proceeded to the Zen room to await our series of treatments. I can't say enough positive things about the therapists. They were all excellent,professional,knowledgeable,friendly & thorough. We loved our salt scrub,facials & massages! Christina x 2,Elaine,Diane,Liz... sorry I don't remember all of their names! Highly recommend! Only negative was that the female dressing room/locker area was tiny. Poor design but by no means a reflection of the top notch staff & service!! Can't wait to book an overnight!

Vanessa Marquez is one of the most polite and courteous hotel staff members. I have called on numerous occasions to inquire about getting something delivered to a guest's room. Vanessa has always had the most positive attitude. She genuinely wants to make sure the guests are well taken care of. She is helpful and very professional. "Cosy hotel near New York"

A Christmas spirit which was great to see. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and had a coffee machine that made a good cup. I used the gym for the 3 days I was staying and although not huge was good enough for me. Not often you have so many machines! The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Also a good price considering the location.

Do not get me wrong, this is a good hotel, it is friendly staff, big well equipped rooms, ok breakfast etc...but it is not so wow in comparison to the many other hotels I have stayed in that it needs 5 stars. All is good but nothing stands out - it is clear, comfortable, all good. But if all we can compare against is not good, do not be deluded in thinking this is outstanding. Its not. if your in westbury stay here. If not, search out something else....if your a spa real, then fine.

Best hotel on Long Island hands down. Value, location, food, service and facilities. Value- really reasonable prices for this area. Given this beautiful hotel and rooms you would expect to pay much more. Location -easy access to NYC or points East like the Hamptons or Montauk. Food- great breakfast , made to order omelets, pancakes, coffee , muffins , juices , toast and fruit. Great service. Room service always prompt and delicious. Service- the best. Staff is attentive, courteous and kind. You need something? They get it. Fast and with no complaints. Facilities- nice gym, beautiful spa and wonderfully appointed rooms. Beds are top quality. Linens soft and luxurious. Pillows galore. Very quiet. Stay here all the time on business. Never heard a peep outside my room. Hotel is extremely well managed and run. Best of class.

I was very fortunate to find this beautiful gem of a hotel on one of my trips to this area a couple of years ago. After staying at some other Chain hotels, this was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is just beautiful, even though the décor outside with 2 elephants is a little out of my taste, the hotel itself has a feel like it should be located somewhere completely tranquil, not on a main road in Long Island. Rooms are gorgeous, spa facilities are available, but I've never had a chance to try it. Always seems to be a wedding party getting ready to arrive based on the welcome bags behind the desks. Breakfast is very good, there is a nice bar on site and a game room for adults. Never had dinner in their restaurant, but there are amazing places close by. I've just booked another stay, I have no reason to stay anywhere else.

"Excellent Service"

The facilities are lovely (though there are some negatives), restaurant and room service tasty, but what really stood out to me was the service. All the ladies at front desk (manager Kim, agent Vanessa and I know I'm forgetting a third, maybe Leslie?) were very helpful, accomodated every request I had, the valets/bellmen always cheerful and helpful (and apparently can do it all, one valet was later working in the restaurant and seated my party there.) One afternoon there were no pool towels when I got there, Veronica at the spa desk assured me more would be out in a few minutes (and they were), but in the meantime she went to fetch one for me herself anyway. That's service! I'd asked a housekeeper to please make up my room while I went to the pool and sure enough it was done, even though I came back sooner than I'd expected. Room Service was fast and reasonably priced. Given that the hotel had about six wedding parties in house the weekend I was there, it was pretty hectic my experience that the staff stayed steady and helpful even with cranky or anxious guests. (I admit to being both at various points, ha). It was just nice to feel that the entire staff really cared. Downside was that the rooms could be pretty noisy, you could hear the neighboring rooms and people in the halls, and at one point an increasingly loud birthday party at the end of the hall seemed to reverberate all the way down the hall. Front desk responded quickly to my complaint shortly after midnight, though it took some time for the partiers to quiet down. I also found the phones difficult to use, could only get the desk phone to work on speaker, could never get the bedside phone to work. But between "service through the TV" and texting as was encouraged at check in, everything I asked for was taken care of. Keurig, fridge and microwave in the room very nice to have. Overall a very nice hotel, spa and restaurant.

"One night away"

My wife and I, along with a large group of family members spent one night following the wedding my wife's God child. The hotel is easily accessible if you use navigation off the main highways surrounding the Westbury/Hicksville area. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. They were well organized for the incoming rush of wedding guests and check-in went very smoothly and fast. The rooms are a little worn and need to be upgraded. The rooms are also not soundproofed, so the crowd after the wedding, all the guests were on the same floor, carried the sounds of the late revelers in the hallway directly into each room. In the room, I had with my wife, the double beds were hard on the right side and soft on the left side from use of the guests. They have a Keurig which is a nice touch, but only provided one bottle of complimentary water (16 oz size). They did not inform guests that you could ask for additional bottles, until I was checking out and commented on this. The rooms have a microwave and small refrigerator, which is also a nice touch. An in-room safe is also hidden in a clothes closet. It was a pleasant stay, but the hotel in my perspective is only a 3 star property in appearance. The extreme pleasantness and cordiality of the staff was very appreciated.

Many of us celebrate our birthdays for weeks - am I wrong?! My first celebratory wknd for my 50th birthday was spent at the Viana Hotel and Spa on Westbury, Long Island. From check in to check out, the GM, Takir, and his staff made every detail of my stay warm and wonderful - from the champagne to breakfast. I also had two spa treatments at the hotel spa. The spa girls all operated like a well-oiled machine. In summary, my 50 began perfectly! Thank you Erika for your recommendation and help! You are a star.

"Friendly staff, great service."

I was quite happy with everything but have a few critiques. Valet: The valets were all very friendly, and went above and beyond for guests. Front Desk: Casey was so nice when I checked in, the text feature is a lovely touch! Not having to call down to bother them for a non-important question was nice. My only complaint with the front desk was Kim forgot to send up the rocks glasses, I waited 3 hours and never got them. We finally asked room service to bring them with our dinner. But we wanted to have drinks before dinner. Restaurant/Room Service: Marco Polo staff was also quite attentive. Jason, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure my lunch was nice. My criticism is the food. Room Service sent the wrong juice with my dinner (one I am dangerously allergic to). But The Italian sandwich and Turkey club were both good, barring the glaring price discrepancies between Bar, Dinner and Late night menus. Next day at the bar I asked for a medium rare burger and it was well done. It's little things like that, that would have made this place go from 3.5 to 4 stars. Spa: I received a great facial from Stacy and massage from Oliver. Services were good. But, when I left I didn't receive a receipt and she assumed I was going to leave a 20% tip on the room. I find tipping to be a very personal thing, so that bothered me, a lot. It felt like I had no choice but to leave that amount. Would I left that anyway? Probably more if I had a tip line. I will not go back to the spa.

I've done many events at this hotel even after work happy hours. I think they have great service, follow up and ideas. They are so in tuned with their guests and will be at your service as soon as you have called them. The staff defiantly goes above and beyond. I highly recommend the spa treatment. I've been to so many spas and this is by far one of my favorites. The breakfast the next day is beautifully set up and delicious. There isn't anything the hotel or staff doesn't do to make your stay that much better!

"Excellent Hotel & Even Better Staff"

We blocked off hotel rooms at Viana for our wedding and we were extremely pleased with the results. The staff is amazing. We constantly asked them questions and making requests and they accommodated us at every step. The hotel & spa is a little more pricey than others in the area, but absolutely worth it. They have a nice spa downstairs, a main bar in the lobby and a FREE game room that we utilized each night we stayed there for some late night fun since it's open 24/7. They have a pool table, board games and a giant tv if you want to watch the game.

Erin was great!!! we had over 60 guest staying at the hotel and she did a great job with all aspects of arranging & coordinating the entire affair.The entire staff, Casey and the support staff were wonderful, they took care of all of our needs. The Brunch was top shelf. The rooms were clean & well decorated. They meet all of our needs for both out of town guests and those that came in from NYC. The spa and other services were over & beyond our expectations!! Ken

I needed to extend a recent business trip, and found this hotel by searching Tripadvisor. Excellent reviews don't always reflect my personal experience (and the reverse is true as well) but Viana deserves it's lofty rating. The room met every metric of excellent (bed, shower, bathroom, climate control, television, size, etc) and the eclectic "Marco Polo" restaurant provided an interesting dinner selection and terrific breakfast buffet. While Long Island itself is a bit notorious for gruff manners, the staff was extraordinarily thoughtful and considerate. I appreciated the follow-up text messages to make sure everything was satisfactory. Overall, this is an easy recommendation if you're visiting the area.

"Overnight stay for Wedding"

Check in was very nice since we were able to sit and review details with staff. Assistance with luggage extremely helpful both on arrival and departure. Very comfortable room and beds. Full length mirror on closet door was helpful when we had to knot a tie and apply eye drops. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Would stay again.

I booked this Hotel because I had a meeting a couple of miles away. What a great find, rooms were large, comfortable and clean, the Marco Polo had great food and the staff was fantastic, Highly recommend!!!!

I have been using this hotel for massage services since 2012. I have always had a great experience. They always go above and beyond to make my visit amazing. Last night the room was cold and they brought in a heater without me even mentioning anything. Will continue to go back there!

My daughter was married at the Soundview Caterers in LI (amazing also) and the management recommended the Viana hotel and spa for our out of town guests. I am a frequent traveler (and hotel snob) and I can honestly say that this hotel's accommodations and customer service are equal if not better than 99% of any of the top rated hotels I have stayed in. The staff are pleasant, super attentive and genuinely concerned with accommodating guests. Erin assisted in a last minute coordination of a Sunday brunch for our guests which everyone raved about. One of our guests said "you hit it out of the park with this hotel." Thank you to everyone for making the wedding weekend a huge success!!!! We will be back!!!

First of all, Erin is a gem. I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding, as well as the night of my wedding with my husband. Erin recommended their one bedroom kitchen suite and it was PERFECT. We were able to get all my bridesmaids hair and makeup done with the connecting rooms in the morning and the room made for beautiful getting ready photos. It was one of the most beautiful hotel rooms I have ever stayed in and the service was wonderful. The gentleman from the concierge checked on us TWICE the night we checked in asking if we need anything and if all was ok. The night I returned back to the room after our wedding the room was cleaned, (as new) there were petals on the bed, a bottle of champagne and a congratulatory letter from the hotel. It was really nice and personal and the perfect end to the best day. Thank you Viana and thank you Erin for helping make our wedding experience a memorable one!

I had my makeup and hair trial at the Viana hotel this past Sunday. Erika, who is the one who runs the salon is AMAZING! She really listens to everything you say (which really isn't necessary because she can perfect anyone without them saying anything) My makeup was so natural, you couldn't tell I was wearing much over my skin in person and it looked amazing in pictures. I am SOOO beyond picky with my hair and make up and Erika perfected it! Not only is she good, but she was at the Viana for my trial on a Sunday morning just so I could have my makeup done for my shower. Jenny, who Erika brought in to do my hair, was also sooo amazing. So genuinely sweet, and made my trial so enjoyable. She made it look like a breeze while doing my hair and my hair stayed curly for 2 days. Yes, so my biggest thing is I didn't want my curls to fall. So when I showered after my bridal shower, I didn't wash my hair. The curls stayed another day. I'm so beyond happy, I don't usually write a review, but I figured I should share what an amazing experience I had, so other brides can feel the same way!! Also, if you"re staying at the Viana you get to go to the salon, that will only be opened to you, to get ready!

I had my wedding block at the Viana. Erin worked with us and was the most helpful person i have ever met. We worked extremely closely together for months and was always such a pleasure to work with. The shuttles to and from my wedding worked perfectly. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff is so friendly! I definitely recommend for staying there or a wedding block for your guests!

After spending three nights at the Viana , I would definitely recommend this hotel / spa and will be returning there next year when I visit NY again. The service was fantastic from the front desk up to and including the housekeeping staff. Everyone was very accommodating and more than willing to fulfill any of our needs. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Marco Polo and every meal was wonderful. I am looking forward to my next visit and hope to have time for some spa services when I return to the Viana,

Loved this place, best hotel I've stayed in on Long Island. Casey was a very friendly and helpful person when we checked in. I like how they send text to see if everything was ok. It was clean, quiet and had very comfortable beds and the room was A+. I highly recommend this place for business or personal family stays.

"Good Stay!!"

We arrived in NY in the morning, and our experience was met with a very amiable, outgoing, Bruce. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and when we had an issue with the room (wanted to see if we could get a different view), he was very accommodating and happy to oblige. We were given a room on the PH floor (penthouse), but it looked exactly at the room we were in previously... we could not find one thing different, although I am sure there must have been some small difference. There were three weddings and it was crowded, but I really like free parking and the fact that it is not in the heart of the city. The staff was friendly, and hats off to BRUCE!! He gets 10 stars all by himself. Incidentally, we were there when the solar eclipse occurred, and a staff member was kind enough to share his glasses with us and we were able to view it outside. They have a nice spa area and small gym, but it will serve your cardio needs. The staff appeared friendly and helpful. And who doesn't like the offer of free water, that is not charged to the room... wait, maybe that is the difference between the second floor and PH-- free bottled water. The shower was nice and the facility is acceptable in that it is not worn, and you don't see areas where they should paint or many signs of normal wear and tear. I would stay here again. The only downside is there really is not a real good view on the side we were on and all you see are cans of some facility.

"Visiting from Alabama....Granny's Surprise Birthday!!"

Great hotel! Met the needs of my sister & I while in town celebrating our grandmother's 85th birthday. Very friendly & helpful staff......especially Joe! Checkin was easy, beds were comfortable & the housekeeping staff kept our room clean, replenished it with fresh towels & toiletries on a daily basis. Didn't get a chance to utilize the spa or nail services due to them being booked up during our stay. We did order food from Marco Polo (in house restaurant) & although we weren't impressed with the taste / quality of the food, the service was great & the food was freshly prepared.

"Wedding weekend... "

We stayed 2 nights for a wedding nearby...average type of hotel, a bit dated, could use a refresh all around... The staff is very friendly and helpful, they try hard to make your stay a great one! The breakfast buffet is standard, sort of unremarkable but they did have very good fresh croissants and bagels! Good value overall, with free wifi and parking and none of those annoying extra fees!

"Started off rough but it got better."

We stayed there on a busy weekend apparently. There were two weddings and they moved my room to the penthouse floor which would have been great if it was the room I paid for but it wasn't. I paid for a two queen room but was put in a two double bed room. When I complained about the bed size Vanessa was very apologetic and even gave my family free breakfast buffet the next morning. She also moved us to the room that I paid for. After that everything was great. My son forget his toothbrush and the provided us with one(never had a hotel do that before lol). Overall this is a great hotel to stay at.

"Good Hotel, Great Service"

Good Hotel in a decent location. We stayed 2 nights before a flight out or JFK. Easy access to some good shopping options in NY. The service staff , especially at the restaurant were exceptional, being helpful and courteous. The bathroom amenities and fittings could do with a make over...overall a good stay with family.

Stayed here as it was close to a physician I was consulting. Good clean hotel but not what I expected from the advertisement & pictures online. Looked like it would be a plush hotel especially since advertised for Weddings. After driving in a horrendous rain storm that flooded some of the NY highways our 4.5 hr trip turned into 8.5 hrs. After stopping to eat at 8:30 pm got back to hotel, checked in & then requested extra pillows. Took about 40 minutes to get them & 3 calls to front desk. I would rate this as a typical Best Western.

We spent last weekend at the Viana for my sons wedding, we had 59 rooms booked! We heard from everyone how pleasant and accommodating the staff was. Check in was such a pleasant experience. Such a friendly group of people working at the front desk. Bruce, Kasey.., awesome. From the time we booked the block of rooms with Erin Herlihy, it was smooth sailing. Erin was great, and I was probably a bit annoying since I did email her weekly to get updates on who had booked rooms, and she never seemed to mind. Everyone there seemed truly excited for us. We also planned our post-wedding breakfast with Erin, and everything was even better than we expected. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a hotel on LI.

I reviewed the hotel in 2015 and stayed again in 2017. Still a wonderful experience- room spacious and comfortable, bar still good and a wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. The best I have found on LI after many tries. Good Value!! Thanks for another great stay.

"Great Staff but lacking the luxury expected!"

I stayed at this hotel last week for a family member's wedding. The staff was absolutely wonderful and friendly, but I found the room I was in lacking. I found hairs on my pillowcases and stains on my sheets. Housekeeping was nice enough to give fresh pillow cases, but at the price for the room, I want it to be clean from the start. The furniture in the room was run down and many things were not clean. I had to practically wipe everything down with Clorox wipes. The AC was so so loud every time it turned on and off again. There was a guest on my floor with a dog that continually barked through the night. If I knew this hotel allowed animals I would have stayed elsewhere. I have been to luxury hotels in Manhattan that are actually luxurious, this didn't fit the bill. As a matter of fact I've been to Hampton hotels better than this one. It's really sad that great staff is wasted on a hotel that doesn't seem to care about the small details.

I stayed here for one night in August 2017, this was my first time at the Viana, and all things considered, I'll stay here again when traveling in the area. Check in with Bruce was a breeze and although he lays it on a little thick for my liking, he really seems to have a genuine love for his job and his positivity is infectious. One of the most memorable check ins that I've ever had, and it's telling that I remember his name (I never remember names). My first room smelled like cigarette smoke and a window screen was broken. Slightly frustrating because it had been a long day of travel, but Bruce immediately apologized, called housekeeping and upgraded me to a suite. Completely unnecessary, but greatly appreciated. Free wifi is much appreciated and I had zero speed or connection issues. Bonus. I had dinner at Marco Polo and the employees JoAnna and Vic were great. The food was really decent and I didn't feel like it was overpriced being that it was in a hotel. The crowd at the bar was a fun mix of locals and business travelers. everyone was great. In the morning, I called down at 5am and asked for a late check out (my appointment wasn't until 1pm). They immediately granted me this request, which was also greatly appreciated since I had some work that needed to be completed in the morning and the suite was the perfect setting to get some work done. At 9:05am housekeeping keyed themselves into my room. They didn't knock, they just let themselves in. Fortunately, I was dressed and working, but this was really intrusive and off putting. I had requested a late check out, and even so, 9:05am is really early to expect a room is vacated. If they had knocked and waited for me to answer, I would've been more comfortable. If I was staying more than just that one night, I would've said something. The fitness center was a let down compared to the rest of the hotel. Small room (about the size of 2 hotel rooms) low ceilings, and dark walls. No televisions. Definitely not a place I want to spend 30-60 minutes. Bummer for a business traveler who is forced to get workouts in on the road. I should've pre-planned and found a local franchise of my own gym. Overall, I'm happy I stayed here and will stay again. Wasn't a complete 5 star experience, but still a very good one especially considering the price.

"Wedding Room Block / Honeymoon Suite"

I booked the Viana Hotel for my wedding room block and spent the night there in their large suite with my husband the night of our wedding. The hotel was beyond comfortable and the rooms were great. All of my guests were very happy with their stay. I have to mention that working with their staff made the whole experience above and beyond. Erin Herlihy was my contact who answered all of my questions through the planning of our wedding block, after party, and brunch. I've stayed here 6 times and it's always consistent. Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms with house keeping that cares about their guests and really comfortable beds. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. It's small and limited menu, but the hotel is very close to loads of dining options. It's right off of the Northern State Parkway and a quick 10 min drive to the Roosevelt Field Mall. I've always stayed here for business, but they seem to host lots of weddings and special events.

My friends and I stayed there this past weekend and took advantage of the spajama package for a low key bachelorette party. The staff was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed our massages at the spa and the fact that they were able to give us early check in. I was disappointed that the sheets on the bed had stains and that the refrigerator in our room was not working... We were very excited to try the Marco Polo restaurant because it had wonderful reviews. I made reservations for 7 at 7 pm. There was no one else in the restaurant and it took forever for our appetizers to come out. The waitress forgot one of the appetizers and brought out one that was wrong. The manager William was very, very accommodating, and and an absolute pleasure. However, the menu needs to be accurate and there needs to be more waitstaff. One friend ordered pasta with chopped tomatoes and cheese, it was just tomato sauce. Another meal was suppose to come with asparagus and they didn't even have asparagus in the kitchen...Another girl ordered pan seared tuna with vegetables and mashed potatoes, and she got tuna tataki on salad. The manager was very willing to change everything and apologetic, but it's very annoying that the waitress couldn't get it together, as well as the kitchen. Had it not been for William, we honestly would have got up and left. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful. The stay overall was relaxing and pleasant. I would stay there again, however I hope some things wouldn't occur again.

"Wish wedding block accommodations were somewhere else"

I stayed here recently for my brother's wedding. While the room was nice and the staff very professional and friendly, there were some issues. I had encouraged my brother to select this hotel for his wedding block from the hotels he had to choose from and in retrospect, wish he had gone with a different selection. Two weeks prior to the wedding date, my brother was contacted that the hotel was oversold and he would have to move his entire block to another hotel. He had signed a contract well in advance in which he was responsible to guarantee a number of rooms would be booked or cover the costs based on how many rooms he blocked. His guests booked well in advance and he even tried to ask for more rooms be added to his block but was told the hotel was full. So it was shocking despite having a contract, the hotel was asking him to move all his guests to another hotel for the night before the wedding and then asking them to move back on the day of the wedding. The was a very stressful situation to be in given he had to tell his guests (many of who were not happy but did not want to add stress to my brother) and try to figure out whether he wanted to break up the guests into 2 hotels. The hotel gave him concessions to make up for their breach of the contract but it was still very much of an inconvenience for his guests. Additionally it was never made clear why the hotel was bumping his guests given there was a contract and the rooms were available at the time the guests made their reservations. As one of his guests with 2 young children, one who was in the wedding, it was extremely inconvenient to have to move on the day of the wedding with a tight timeframe - to pack, find time for my kids to nap and also get everyone ready. It was a very hectic day. Additionally, I had a manicure/pedicure at the spa. The area for the manicure/pedicure was pretty cramped and they did not have nail dryers. The nail technicians were very friendly but the actual manicure/pedicure was poor, especially given the price. Most importantly, on the website they state they are a green spa and use eco-friendly products but they did not have any nail polish that fit this description and I was glad I had brought my own. The staff was welcoming and professional but the front desk was not consistent about handing out the gift bags as there were members of my family who checked in and did not receive theirs. One positive was they did a nice job with the post-wedding brunch - room was set up very nice. Overall the rooms and staff were nice but I would be hesitant to use this for a wedding block (I actually found the hotel they moved us too better for the guests to gather and hang out in the evenings in the lobby area and outside fire pit).

Amazing hotel to accommodate a wedding party and after brunch. Rooms were so comfortable and the brunch on Sunday was a perfect ending to a joyous weekend. Erin was a pleasure to work with when booking our block of rooms for my son's wedding. She guided us through the whole process and helped us make the right choices. We booked a wedding block at the Vianna. Dealing with Erin was a pleasure. We had many changes: quantity of rooms, transportation arrangements, after wedding brunch and she always help with a smile and "no problem". The Viana hotel is the best kept secret. From the door, Ana is so on point, friendly, and courteous. At the spa check-in, Veronica is the sweetest. At Marco Polo, the food is unbelievable. Ask for Will. He's like the cherry on top of Ice cream. As awesome as the restaurant is, he makes it better. The Jacuzzi room is sooooo cozy. Every inch is clean. Kudos to housekeeping. Now here's the real deal. I scheduled a couples massage at the spa. The masseuses were ready and waiting for us. We had the pleasure of having Christine and Rose. Very professional and great with their hands. I had Christine. She is a gift from god. 15 minutes into the Swedish massage, I was feeling so good, fell asleep. Christine knocked me out. She found knots and rubbed them out with her hands and forearms. This entire place and all its employees are incredible. I am definitely coming back.

Had a gift card for a full day of beauty. Wow! I had the best relaxing experience ever. The ambiance is ver relaxing. Everything is clean. The massage with Susan was awesome. Stacey took care of me the rest of the time. Never had a mud wrap, but I will definitely do it again. My skin is still soft. The facial, OMG! The best facial I ever had. I didn't want it to end. The mani and pedi was great too. Stacey made me feel comfortable and explained everything as we went along. I will definitely return.

We received excellent service at the hotel. The room was clean, attractive and the beds were comfortable. I liked the proximity to the spa and restaurant/bar. The location of the hotel is quite good. It is about a quarter mile from the Northern State Parkway and about a half mile from the Long Island Expressway. Very convenient for travel in to the City of NY or points east on Long Island.

I stayed here for one night back in November 2016 for a work trip. I was "upgraded" to a suite which was nice. The room was rather large with its own living room/kitchen and a large bathroom with jacuzzi tub and stand up shower. In the corner of the bedroom was the HVAC unit so it was rather loud when the heat would kick on and off. Free shuttle to/from my work. Breakfast was decent (I was going to be charged and I asked about it being complimentary as I thought I had read that. They switched my bill and didn't charge me at all).

"Not sure how this place is so highly rated...."

I can't believe how overrated this place is...thank god I was only here for one night. 1) Its false advertising...a superior double room is advertised as having 2 queen beds. They are not queen beds but actually full sized beds. Do the measurements...numbers don't lie. 2) For a "luxury place", the walls everywhere are paper thin. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you as well as outside in the hall. 3) There's a reason why the HVAC unit in pretty much every hotel room I've stayed at was by the window...the noise. Stay at this place if you want to see how it sounds when the HVAC unit is INSIDE A CLOSET IN YOUR ROOM. Constantly clicking on and off and how loud it is when its on I'm surprised I was able to get any sleep. 4) They claim to be a friendly to the environment hotel. So they have 2 separate buttons for flushing the toilet and have the "hang up the towel if your still ok with it" policy". Maybe they should check the water pressure coming out of the shower...they could probably save hundreds of gallons of water a day if they dialed back the water pressure just 10%. I think most people would be ok if it was dialed back over 30%. 5) A luxury hotel yet all the cups were not covered in plastic. A definite no-no to use for the experienced traveler. 6) The beds are way too soft where you felt like you had zero lumbar support. This combined with the loud HVAC unit made it really hard to sleep. 7) The parking is ridiculous...how can you not have enough parking for all your guests? I found myself parking on the side street after I left for 15 min on a sat morning to get breakfast nearby. All in all a big disappointment especially for $200 a night (and that was WITH a discount). Only reason I gave this two stars instead of 1 was because the staff overall was pretty good.

My family of 6 booked and received 2 adjoining rooms with a door connecting our 2 rooms. We also requested 2 cribs. We wanted a king bed and a crib in each of the rooms. However, they said they do not have adjoining rooms with king beds. They said they only have 1 King and the adjoining room would have 2 queens beds. We accepted their proposal and asked for 1 crib instead. When we got our room keys, we noticed that there was no crib in the room and had to ask for it again. The 2 beds in the adjoining room were definitely not queen sized. They were smaller than a full sized bed. We measured and looked it up online. My married son & daughter-in-law could not fit on the bed. Both of them are thin lean people. My grandson was fine on the other bed. Definitely false advertising. We spoke to the people at guest services downstairs and they insisted that they are queen-sized and the hotel WAS FULLY BOOKED UP. They couldn't give us another room. Thank God we only had to stay for 1 night and we made the best we could. The air conditioner was ridiculously loud and constantly coming on & off every few minutes waking up everyone. It was centrally located in the middle of the room which was strange. All the hotels we've been to had air conditioners by the windows which made sense. Also for a classy hotel, the walls and doors are very thin. You can hear people talking and walking down the halls and people talking and TVs playing in the rooms next to us. The people were not talking loud and the TVs were not blasting. Definitely no insulation on the walls. As far as parking is concerned, why were there not enough parking for the hotel guests? The problem is the restaurant that's attached to the hotel. Paying hotel guests should get first dibs or assigned parking spot first. I would have given the hotel zero stars if it were not for the porters who were so helpful and accommodating. The porters definitely deserve 5 stars and the big tips I gave them.

It's a new hotel, nicely decorated with a friendly staff. We were disappointed with the breakfast buffet and it's expensive. It's right outside of Westbury so if we were going a show at Westbury we stay there again.

I would highly recommend this hotel. I recently stayed because my daughter hosted her wedding on Long Island, and we lived too far away to be able to commute to both the rehearsal dinner and wedding. I found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and professional. They not only upgraded my daughter to a suite, but they also decorated her room with rose petals, and left the newlyweds a bottle of champagne on their wedding night. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Very nice hotel. Although location is nondescript, facility was great. Employees were friendly and accommodating, room was clean with comfortable beds. The restaurant on -site was above average, I had a Kobe burger that was excellent! The spa treatment my wife received was super, and I enjoyed the hot tub- which was very clean and appropriately treated, and then used the sauna. Everything worked and it was nice for my body lol. Overall, I would recommend, we were very pleased. Not your grandfathers best western haha.

Being from Westchester my wife and I made several trips looking at hotels once we secured our venue in Long Island. Viana was the last hotel we visited and we immediately knew that it was the place. The sales staff, specifically Erin, was great to work with in planning and arranging for our blocked out 2 night stay. The entire staff was tremendous on our wedding night with helping guests find their rooms, and even get to the venue when our shuttle service did not make it on time to pick guests up. We also did the bar extension after the wedding that was the perfect touch on a perfect day. The hotel is extremely clean, the food is great, and the rooms were updated. We had over 125 people staying at the hotel and did not have one complaint. We plan on returning to Viana the next time we're in Long Island.

"Spajama package bachelorette party "

For my bachelorette party we came to this hotel/spa after reading all the good reviews and being highly recommended by my catering hall for my wedding. The spajama package is worth every penny! The Swedish massage was amazing and the spa gift was a nice bonus! The drinks at the bar were very good including the lunch we had and breakfast. I was surprised at how big the portions were and the variety of selections to choose from were decent. Also, there were many movie choices to select from and the amount of snacks given was very generous! The staff was very welcoming and helpful!!! I would highly recommend this place.

A great experience. I loved that the front desk was actually 3 desks with chairs where you could sit down and chat. Casey was awesome at my check in. The room was very nice with excellent wireless service and I loved the restaurant.

I chose to book the Viana hotel and spa for my wedding on 5/20/17. I booked this hotel for our rehearsal dinner and our room block for wedding guests. I also used this hotel to get ready for the big day and booked hair and makeup for myself as well as my bridesmaids. The room: The suite was a great size for my bridesmaids and I to stay together and get ready the night before the wedding. The room was very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating about cleaning the room before we took photos. The suite had a very comfy bed with a spacious living room area and a generous sized bathroom. The staff was very kind to my friends and I and made sure to communicate to me and my maid of honor if we needed any special requests. We actually requested free standing mirrors which the staff was able to acquire for us! We were very happy with our room as a group. The breakfast buffet the next day was very good and I would definitely stay here again. Our wedding guests were very comfortable with their rooms and seemed to enjoy their stay as well. I highly recommend hosting a wedding party or wedding guests here. The service staff is experienced and knows what they are doing when it comes to weddings.

"Fantastic Hotel, Great for Room Blocks!"

We stayed at the Viana with around 60 guests for our wedding! They were so accommodating, and our guests were so impressed with the hotel- it was also the best price we saw among hotels in the area! Erin was so helpful- she organized transportation for our guests to and from the reception on an amazing party bus! She also helped us plan a day after brunch, which was phenomenal and well priced! Would absolutely recommend the Viana, not just for wedding blocks, but for any stay!

This was my second stay at the Viana. I was looking forward to the comfortable bed I remembered from my last stay, and it lived up to my memory. The rooms are immaculate and the service you receive goes above and beyond. I highly recommend staying here.

"Could not have asked for a better place!"

Chose this hotel for the location on a trip for a funeral. Last minute plans. From the call for reservations, check in to checkout, everyone at the hotel made our stay amazing. The restaurant food and staff could not have been better. The room was very nice and calming. The spa facial and mud wrap were the best I have ever experienced. The entire staff , and I mean all of them, met us with genuine smiles, hospitality and eye contact. In a day where the world is glued to phones we had not realized how important this can be. We definitely plan to return for a relaxing getaway. They all took a sad and stressful trip and made it better than we could ever expected.

"Wedding Room Block"

Recently got married at a nearby venue, we had a block of rooms at the Viana for our guests, and we stayed in one of their suites ourselves. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, the rooms were all clean and well maintained, and the spa services were wonderful (had multiple wedding party members get mani/pedis). Our suite was great, large room, big double shower, and jacuzzi tub. Had several guests mention how nice their accommodations were as well! No complaints! Also, Erin, in particular, who helped us arrange the block of rooms and was my point of contact when planning, was SO helpful! I emailed and called her multiple times with (probably unnecessary/overdramatic urgency, haha) questions and she made that whole part of the wedding planning stress free. Thankful to her! If youre getting married in the area, they are definitely the place to go with for your room block.

My husband and I are repeat customers and this was our 5th year staying at the Viana Hotel & Spa for our 14th wedding anniversary. Always an amazing night!!!, we originally had the Jacuzzi room but because of some issue we were upgrade FREE to the One Balcony Suite!!, and we choose the Romance package (rose turndown service, champagne, chocolate strawberries & breakfast buffet). Special thanks to Joe who always remembers us every year!!, Kasey and Bruce at check in!! Marco Polo dinner was fantastic as always; that Smores Eggroll dessert is wonderful!! My only criticism is that the pool is very small and needs a new lining - this was our 1st year using the pool and we only stayed about 5 minutes because the whole lining was rippled and had this strange "endless pool" machine in it. They really could stand to renovate the pool area and make an L shaped pool and lose the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room - THAT would be awesome, a bigger pool! Regardless of that, everything else was PERFECT!!!, and we'll be back Spring 2018 to celebrate our anniversary again :)

This hotel is top notch. We had a wedding block here and had an issue with one of our guests unfortunately , and the staff handled it so profossionally. The place is soooo clean! The bridal suite was amazing . We came up to the room to find rose pedals on the bed and champagne! Room service came so quickly and the food was amazing. The spa treatments we got were sooo relaxing. The breakfast the next morning was great and they kept bringing food out when it emptied. The shuttles to and from our wedding venue were on time with no issues at all. Seriously one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff here truly made me feel welcome and greeted us every day smiling. A+

The staff, the food, the accommodations, the spa, the central location, the whole megillah, first class. Not your father's Best Western! For dinner, we had the Steak Diane and Penne Ala Sake at the outstanding Marco Polo Restaurant. And the breakfast spread is to die for. To top it all off, the bathroom mirror has a TV integrated into to it that magically appears when you fire up the remote. Quiet, immaculate, and wonderful.

The title says it all, I had a fantastic experience with my stay at Viana! I was greeted with such warmth and compassion really getting the feeling that the staff wanted to take care of me. I interacted with two people at the front desk during check in who were more than amazing and then both the bartender and restaurant manager at Marco Polo who were equally fantastic. This was my first stay at Viana and if the opportunity presents itself again, I will 100% go back.

The staff is well trained on quality customer service. The place is immaculate and everyone is nice. The rooms are spacious, they have a great Spa area and Fitness Center, the fFood is very good and the Bar area is lively. Alicia from the Sales Dept made our stay memorable. We're a group of 19 and there were no hitches and, in fact, she went above and beyond to make everything better for us. "Great find on Long Island"

This was our 2nd stay at Viana Hotel and Spa. We first visited after a work engagement because we were going to a concert at The Space at Westbury (within walking distance!) The Marco Polo restaurant is a treat, delicious fusion of Italian/ Asian food. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The bed is terrific. Service is excellent, staff couldn't get more helpful. Our 2nd stay was for business. It was perfect. No doubt we will be return guests.

Very acceptable hotel, conveniently located in Westbury, Long Island. The front desk staff person was very nice and efficient, and the room was roomy and clean. The bathroom was spacious. One small complaint here, which I have noticed is inexplicably replicated among other nicer hotels - no shower cap. Really! How much can such a tiny piece of plastic cost that a hotel with a spa would skimp to omit one?

"Romance Package was perfect!"

Room: Beautiful, clean, fresh linens and towels, awesome jacuzzi, the balcony is large, my fiance loved the room--said it was bigger and nicer than any other hotel he's been to (and he travels a lot for work!). Location: Convenient to a lot of major roads in Long Island and close to train stations--easy access to the city if that is your draw to the area. Restaurant--SO GOOD. My fiance said it is some of the best food he's had. "This doesn't even feel like a hotel restaurant--it's so much better than other hotel restaurants". Right now their three-course prix fixe is a great bargain with delicious options! Overall, our stay was spectacular--delicious food, beautiful room, and because we did the romance package, we had a lovely rose petal turndown, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries. A lovely little getaway was definitely what we needed.

My friends & I stayed for one night. From the point of inquiry throughout execution, I was pleased. Oscar, one of the spa receptionists was very helpful as his tips saved us a lot of time and confusion. The hotel Reception staff Bruce and Vanessa were exceptional. Bruce clearly loves what he does and his demeanor and interaction with us showed it. Vanessa went out of her way to surprise the birthday girl. All of reception staff and concierge staff were helpful. Our spa experience was...blissful to say the least. As soon as we got downstairs, we were greeted by the spa director Veronica. Speaking to her is like speaking to an old friend. Her energy is contagious. The rest of the staff and technicians were friendly, professional and knowledgeable of their craft. I give thumbs up to Rosanna, my facial technician. She was able to help me relax and at the end of service my skin was flawless. I am excited to go to her again. The products we purchased are great so far. We stayed on the hotel's grounds ate dinner and received a breakfast voucher at Marco Polo. William, the evening manager was friendly, approachable, and charismatic. The meals were tasteful and well presented. Kudos to the chef. Overall our experience was memorable. Even with a wedding going on, there were no disruptions in our services. The Viana Hotel family are people I wouldn't mind seeing again.

The room is clean and well organized. While close to businesses and urban centers it is a little out of the way. A nice work out room and a great AM breakfast experience. It is at its heart a SPA so a little pampering along the way. Lastly a really good value for the money. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

The room was clean with good amenities--fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Fresh fruit, tea, and and water were available in the lobby. Friendly staff were welcoming and accommodating. They took pride in their job and the establishment. The bar area was nice and manager and workers were friendly.

"Best hotel ever"

We have never stayed at a more friendly or helpful hotel ever. We loved all of the staff that we meet. We even loved our cleaning lady, she was the same one during our entire stay so she knew us well, easy to talk to. The lobby is beautiful and comfortable to hang out with fireplace. There is all kinds of places to be. I can't even mention them all here. But bottom line we loved it!!!

The room was bigger than other hotel rooms I stayed in. The hotel staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. Room service was excellent, The hotel is well kept and very clean. I wasn't able to use the facilities so I cannot comment on them.

From the rooms to the staff we had no complaints during our 5 night stay. Would highly recommend. Even the standard rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. The breakfast was included in our stay. I am not sure I would spend the 15 dollars a person if it was not included but was certainly a nice bonus.

this hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere (they have a shuttle to Hicksville station) if you don't have a car but has good rooms and very good staff. I had as well the opportunity to have a massage in the Spa and it really helped enjoying my stay

We had 49 rooms booked for our daughters wedding weekend and a Sunday brunch for our guests. The staff couldn't be any nicer; they all went the extra mile to ensure everything went smoothly and that we had everything we needed, we never had to ask twice for anything. "not worth it."

This was a 2 day conference in Roslyn NY. The choices were slim, not much on the North Shore of Long Island. It seems like a boutique hotel, not part of a chain. Parking is very tight. Rooms are old, looks better on their website. They did have a breakfast buffet in the morning from 6;30am until 10:30am. This was the best part of this hotel. The wait staff was more than pleasant, they were great. I thought the food was pretty decent. Eggs, pancakes, a variety of toast, bagels, cereals, juices. They had several televisions tuned to the morning shows. They also provided a shuttle to our conference. I only rated the service good because the breakfast staff was great. The bathroom sink was very clogged. Upon checkout, I reminded the desk to have someone look at it.

I often stay the Vianna hotel for business and have to say their spa is wonderful! They stay open late on Tuesday's for someone like me who works late, their staff is so friendly, great face products and very clean :) Definitely recommend staying here and visiting the spa.

Stayed at the Viana Hotel as a wedding guest this past weekend and had an amazing experience. The staff is super friendly and professional, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is also good. My boyfriend and I stayed here after an event nearby and had a lovely experience from beginning to end. We arrived and I got there before him, he had the reservation so they were not able to check me in just yet, but the young man working the front desk offered me a drink at the bar while I waited. We got to our room, which was clean and as requested (King) it smelled a bit like chlorine but I suspect that is the ultra clean part :) Our stay included dinner at Marco's Restaurant and Couples Massage...due to our timing, we requested doing lunch if possible which they were very happy to accommodate. We arrived and were told to have anything we wanted. The service from the kitchen was a bit slow, but the wait staff were wonderful and again offered us a beer/wine for the inconvenience. Food was fresh, hot and as ordered! We ended up missing out on a couples massage, but they accommodated us for a couples facial which was wonderful! we arrived at the spa and were sent to locker rooms to change and get comfy, we sat in tranquilty room which was also nice. Our facialists were great and would highly recommend (I believe Danielle and Rosanna) Our experience was top notch and we will be returning. Thanks

Staff and service couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Each person I encountered was eager to help with anything we needed. Spa was great as well as Jacuzzi and steam room. I would definitely go back!

we were in the area to look at colleges, and found this online. I was a bit concerned because it was a Best Western, but was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the restaurant. This is by no means a typical Best Western. The rooms were very comfortable, the bathrooms were modern, and the staff was very nice.

This hotel is awesome!!! I had 15+ rooms for my wedding and check in all the way to check out was amazing! I can't praise this hotel enough. We had a farewell breakfast in the morning and it must of been the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Kasey was amazing and so helpful to my whole family and all the workers went out of the way to help me and my new wife get situated and they also surprised us with rose pedals in our room. Please stay here you will NOT be disappointed.

We had two rooms for our family. Staff was very pleasant. Rooms were very clean, large, and comfortable. Beds excellent. Bathrooms very well done, large and roomy. Good showers. We would choose again.

From start to finish our experience at the Viana Hotel and Spa was excellent. We had thirty rooms for my sons wedding and we could not have been happier. Stayed 1 night for business trip. Clean, modern, comfortable. Great staff and service ! Ate dinner at the bar. Probably the best truffle mushroom ravioli I've ever had!!! 100 % recommend the restaurant . Slightly higher prices but well worth it!

The Spa at Viana Hotel is a hidden gem. I have enjoyed massages, facials, body scrubs, hair cuts, and even eyebrow waxes here and all have been fantastic. You can count on world class service in a quiet and professional environment. I feel like I've been to a resort just minutes from my house! Highly recommended.

I visited during spa week for the first time. It won't be the last. Service was excellent professional yet friendly. Love that the chatting isn't initiated by the therapist and they are genuinely involved in your comfort. The spa is tiny but tastefully decorated inspiring relaxation and peace. The only downside, which I actually didn't mind, is a single person changing room with bathroom facility located separately and no shower. It is located on lower level with the hair and nail salon. I have been making the trip from Suffolk to Westbury on a regular basis to get manicures and pedicures at Viana Spa and, hands down, Francine does the best job. Not only is she sweet & fun, she is a perfectionist and every time I have gotten one of these services with her, it's been a real treat. I recommend her 100%.

While my husband and I were only there for one night to attend a funeral, we did dine at the restaurant. The hotel room was immaculate, the restaurant food was good, the staff were very friendly, and when I called to book the room, the desk did the best to give us the best rate.

This is our second year coming for spa week. A friend and I booked a few spa treatments and enjoyed the hotel. It's located close by on long island but you feel a world away on vacation. The spa is excellent and you leave feeling very pampered. We enjoy the sauna, steam Room and gym facilities before our spa appointments and finish off the night with dinner and drinks at Marco Polo.

Used this hotel for out of town guests and bridal party for wedding weekend. We had almost 50 rooms with zero complaints! We could not be happier with the staff and service! From blocking rooms to booking a brunch for 80 people, everything was perfect. The service at the hotel from Erin, Kasey, Joe and Inez was professional, warm and friendly. The Sunday brunch was amazing, great service and great food!! The salon service is such a plus!! As MOG it was so easy. I didn't have to leave the hotel. Hair with Jill was prompt and she did a great job! Erika did my makeup for rehearsal and wedding. She took her time and it lasted perfectly for a full 12 hrs! I was sceptical using a small private boutique hotel but WOW was I impressed! It could not have gone smoother. Thank you to all the staff that made us feel so special this weekend!!

I recently used the Viana to provide overnight accomodations for out of town guests for my daughter's wedding. I also held a private breakfast for my guests at the Viana the morning after the wedding. My wife and I could not be more pleased, not only with how beautiful the hotel is, but with the oustanding service that we recieived from staff. The staff went above and beyond what could normally be expected on a number of occasions. They made us and our guests feel very well taken care of. The rooms were immacualte and completely up to date, and the breakfast was sensational. All of my guests (approximately 60) complimented our choice of hotel. All in all the Viana added to what was a wonderful weekend for me, my family and friends. I can't thank them enough!!

We were in town for a wedding and used the spa services for make up and hair. HIGHLY reccommend JILL FOR HAIR She was calm, sweet, and our hair styles lasted from 2pm ON! She was so flexible, and even cut my son's hair and cleaned up another groomsman at the last minute. A GEM! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ERIKA JENSON for MAKE UP! She was great with color, and our make up looked practically the same at 2:30 AM as it did after she did it at 2PM 12 hours prior!!! She took her time, did not rush, and made the time we spent sitting SO much fun. Overall, our experience in the SPA really added to our overall weekend: we had fun, relaxed, and looked special for a special day.

The area is nice, but hotel is average. Not luxurious as the word "spa" indicates. Rooms are large for NYC but finished a bit worn. The rest of the place ok nothing horrible but nothing spectacular either. Plus side free parking.

I spent 3 days in the Vianna and it was amazing. It is a small luxurious hotel in every aspect. The room was beautiful, had a hot tub as well. Loved the game room (x box, board games and the like). I loved it and would do it again. It is a bit pricey though.

I was so impressed by this beautiful hotel. For the price, I never expected to find such a clean, updated, beautiful hotel. The room was fantastic, they had answers to every business persons needs from a great desk area to charging station on the night table. This is a 5 star property on a 3 star budget. I booked the Viana Hotel & Spa for my wedding guests and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience! From the first time I walked in, Kasey & Erin were on top of everything I needed to make my wedding day relaxing, easy and fun! Aside from helping book 48 rooms for my husbands family which were all out of town and coordinating shuttles to take our guests to and from the wedding, they also helped my mother-in-law plan a wonderful afterparty at the hotel bar since we had a day wedding that ended at 6pm and we wanted to keep the party going. From first meetings to check-out, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. Joe was also extremely helpful with bringing our 100s of pieces of luggage to our rooms as well as driving my shuttle to take me to the wedding! SPA - Erika was wonderful and all of the ladies in my bridal party and my mom's looked so beautiful. My makeup lasted well into the night and looked flawless. Her positive attitude (even at 5am) and attention to detail really made the busy and hectic morning so great. My new hubby and I cannot wait to come back and visit the hotel again! "Rooms were nice. Fitness room was old & obsolete"

Room are well appointed & spacious. There were a few minor disappointments though. The room had one of those miniature table top ironing boards which are pretty much useless. (Seems that they "cheaped" out on this & the iron.) The fitness room equipment was ancient. The stairmasters & treadmills are old & noisy. Most users that came into the fitness room, tried them & then tried another machine, and then another. Not exactly "spa & fitness" quality.

My girlfriend and I had a fabulous day at Viana Hotel Spa. It was our Spa weekend getaway! My friends and I stayed overnight from 10/2-10/3 for a spa weekend! It was perfect!! Kasey Wurth at the front desk was so nice and even sent us a bottle of champagne! Michelle and Claudia and the Marco Polo Restaurant were so professional yet pleasant and accommodating! The food was delicious too! Cocktails were yummy! The Dirty Banana is now my new favorite drink. The spa services were wonderful too! I recommend Danielle for facials and Christine for massages. The hotel is beautiful and clean! We loved it!!

"Fabulous girls Spa-Jama weekend"

My friends and I scheduled an overnight stay for a dear friend who was getting married the following weekend. It was booked on short notice (only a week in advance) the bride had sprained her ankle and we couldn't follow thru with or original plans. From the moment I booked this hotel I k ew it was going to be amazing. I called the day before to confirm and found out or rooms would not be together and not only that but there wasn't what needed available in adjoining rooms. I was disappointed but understood, WELL I went to check in (early I might add and they were so accommodating) to decorate the room for he bride I come to find out they UPGRADED us to a beautiful suite with a room attached through a private entrance! They were so gracious everyone from the host who checked us in to the bell hop! We had a fantastic time laughing and enjoying ourselves without having to wonder if we were bothering any other guests because of the privacy. The movie and breakfast were awesome as well. Thank you Vianna for enabling us to have such a great time!

"Very nice property at a reasonable price"

The Viana has many positives going for it. First, they have a very nice lobby and check -in area; the rooms are pleasant and comfortable and they DO smell good; the staff is very accommodating and eager to please; the price, particularly for Long Island, provides an outstanding value. The spa was nice - - I had a decent massage, and it was competitively priced, with a discount for hotel guests. The downsides are minimal; they bill themselves as eco-friendly so use plastic "green" cups in the rooms. I would have preferred some actual glasses and some real mugs for the water and coffee. When there is a wedding party or any kind of party in the lobby, the size of that lobby and subsequent spillover makes it difficult to talk to anyone at the main desk. The pool is a super tiny lap pool; saw a family with 3 children in it, and they pretty much took up the entire pool. The bar, while decent, is also small, and can be very crowded and noisy at times. As long as you understand that there are several things they probably can't address (pool, bar and lobby size), this was quite a nice stay.

"Best Hotel in the Westbury area"

The location of the Hotel & Spa was convenient to area that we were visiting. Check in was easy and the clerk was very pleasant and helpful and provided us with some different places to eat as an alternative to the hotels restaurant. The pool is a small lap style pool indoors and easy to use. The service was excellent, the rooms spacious and the bathroom was clean. The bed was a true king size bed and very comfortable. Our stay was relaxing and pleasant.

We stayed here only one night after a wedding and we were pleasantly surprised to find it to be such a nice hotel with quality amenities. Room was large with tasteful décor. Nice bath products, towels and robes. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This hotel really knows how to make you feel welcome and at home. They brought my bags to my room and asked if I needed anything- don't see that often anymore! Room was large and clean. Lots of ports to charge phones etc. fridge, safe, microwave, big flat screen tv and nice roomy shower. Only thing was it was hard to get the room to a cold temperature that I like- felt warm.

"What a little gem!!"

My husband I stayed here for our annivesary using a gift card I won at a PTA event. What a surprise!! The room was large and clean, with a small kitchenette. Coffee maker and fridge also. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. The evening of, we had a few drinks and some apps at the restaurant Marco Polo. The bartender was friendly an extremely attentive. Breakfast was a little bit of a mix up. THere was an event going on with booming music which made it unpleasant. But, Bessy (?) in the dining room invited us back the next morning and we had a lovely breakfast. The hubs and I had a couples massage. From the moment we checked in with Veronica everything was perfect. We relaxed in the lovely zen room beforehand. Then Christina came for me and Oliver for my hubby. We had an hour of pure bliss. Today I spoke with the GM just to tell him what a lovely overnight we had. I will be recommending this place to out-of-towners and locals alike!! Also next time I go to a concert next door I know where I will be going for dinner!!

The Viana Hotel is a very nice tastefully decorated and friendly hotel. We were greeted at reception and checked in. Since we were only there for overnight we did not get to see the spa but we had dinner in the Marco Polo Restaurant. The meal was delicious and again the service was friendly and efficient. "Amazing spa"

I was here for the first time last weekend as my sisters and I celebrated my bachelorette -spa style. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like queens. I had a facial and a Swedish massage. After each service they offer you a bottle of water and allow you to use the other amenities there. This was such a great idea for my bachelorette and they definitely made a repeat customer out of me. I would highly recommend it to all!!!

"Great place to impress a loved one..."

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Viana for only one night August 12th. It was one night of splendor in regards to this wonderful hotel. I surprised my loved one with a spa treatment and although we were a little late, they were very accommodating (note; driving from anywhere to NYC/Long Island, give yourself an extra hour on top of what the GPS tell you!). Joe the bellman was fantastic when we pulled up and couldn't help enough. The front desk was very warm and helpful. The spa is I'll say simple but effective. My gf said the spa employee talked the entire time, but she enjoyed the overall experience. The Marco Polo restaurant is conveniently located right upstairs from the lobby and has a nice layout, with an adult game room located near by. The room was very well acquainted for a hotel. Two things; the air conditioning didn't get the room that cool, and of course being in NY, the view from the room was...well, don't bother. The bed was large and comfortable. The hotel was also very accommodating in regards to a late check out we requested. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it to a friend.

Erika Jansen did my makeup for a very close friend's wedding. She is really fun to work with, easy to talk to, and does an incredible job in a reasonable amount of time. The quality of her work is worth the price. She is trustworthy and will make you look and feel like fabulous. I highly recommend her for any makeup you may need done.

My boss made the arrangements for our business stay. I stayed 3 night. She stayed 2 and the big boss stayed 1. First off, yes it is convenient to eat at the restaurant downstairs, but don't! We went two different nights and service was super slow and food way over priced even by MY standards for what we got. Back to the hotel, check in and check out were easy. Lobby was nice and someone always seemed to always be cleaning it. All staff seemed pleasant and helpful. Found no need to use the valet as there was plenty of parking. Rooms were very spacious including the bathroom and shower (not tub shower). The bathroom was my favorite part of the whole room. I had a king bed room on the 3rd floor. The air conditioner was in a cabinet in the room and it was very noisy. I was up all night adjusting and readjusting it so I could try to get back to sleep after it woke me. The air conditioning vent was in need of cleaning with a large amount of dust having had collected on it over some time. The door between adjoining rooms are too thin. I don't know them but it seemed that the people on the other side of the locked adjoining door in the room next to me had other people in their room all night and they were very loud. They sounded like they were in the bed with me as the door was right next to the side night stand where my head was. Elevator service seemed a bit slow considering it is not a very big hotel (3-4 floors?). Checked out the spa, but I felt I could get a better and more reasonably priced massage at home (Phila suburb). Looked at the postage sized pool when down stairs checking out the spa prices. The pool was just a bit bigger than the hot tub. No one was in either at the time.

We celebrated my sister's 60th birthday w/"SpaJama" party @ Viana! GREATEST TIME EVER! Great staff, smiles all around, very attentive! The food was fabulous and the Apple Pie and Ice Cream shots at the Bar - SERIOUS TRUTH! The Spa experience was amazing! Near Westbury Music Fair and next door to a movie theater. We also saw a lovely bride getting ready for her big day! VIANA - Felt like we were family! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

I had the opportunity to stay two nights at the Viana Spa & Hotel for a weekend convention and found it to be superb. The entire staff was attentive and cheerful and anticipated our every need. The room was more than adequate, even though we didn't spend too much time in it other to sleep. The buffet breakfast was terrific...and the food service at the banquet was better than most. I would definitely return.

"Great Hotel For Wedding Block"

I had my wedding block at the Viana Hotel. Overall, the hotel was very accommodating and my guests were happy. In preparation for my wedding, the Viana staff were very easy to reach and always responded to my emails in a timely manner. The rooms were clean and several of my guests used the amenities such as the spa. I also held a brunch at the Viana the morning after my wedding. The food was great and my guests were happy. I would definitely recommend the Viana for your wedding block.

Nice hotel . Clean at all level . Quick check in ....Camielle at front desk was outstanding and very helpful. Joe Bellman always ready to take care with smiling face . Room clean , in room safe , small refrigerator even microwave, very good towels and linen . Excellent job by house keeping . Breakfast good and good service. Even fruits and lemonade free at lobby .

"Good in almost all"

Very good hotel, free internet work fine, very good restaurant and full bar. Breakfast is great. They are short in staff for check in and out, always take a while if you want a receipt. The air conditioner is too loud and too slow to get cool.

"Very noisy Aircon unit."

I rarely write reviews but the Hotel experience was so horrible that I went out of the way to create an account on Yelp and provide a review. Their AirCon system is extremely noisy and it automatically turns on and off all night long - surprisingly awful !! When I reached out to the hotel management, they started to blame me as a sensitive sleeper. When I later on checked with the other colleagues who stayed there, they had the same disappointing experience.

This was a very nice hotel. Only stayed one night but I was impressed. My boyfriend and I were attending a wedding and the bride and groom had a block of rooms blocked off for people who wanted to stay over. We decided to do that. Staff was very friendly... They were able to give us a room earlier than expected which was nice. Breakfast was ok. It's buffet but you can order omelets to be made. (It was the only meal we had there)... They have a spa which seemed nice. I had someone curl my hair for the wedding, someone was getting their nails done, you can go for a massage, etc. Our room was nice and clean.... There is a small Keurig machine and they had "pods" for tea and coffee. Overall, we enjoyed our one night stay.... Like I said, it was nicer than expected.... I definitely recommend....

The staff and the Viana was extremely helpful to my group from Catholic Charities. Their kindness and attention to detail was superb. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The breakfast was plentiful and location is near activities, restaurants and events. This hotel will definitely be recommended to others.

"Best hotel in the area"

This is a very nice property and as far as I could find it's the best in the area. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good (the only meal I ate at the hotel), and the fitness room was equipped for a hotel gym. My room was enormous. I wonder if maybe I got a wheelchair-accessible room because they ran out of standards? It was actually so big that there really needed to be more furniture in there to make it look right. Certainly not complaining about the extra space though! The one complain I have about whole place is that its style, decor, and finishings are trending a bit on the dated side. My parents would probably love it, (and this hotel is probably more tailored for people their age), but as a younger-age business traveler I prefer a slightly more contemporary look. It's still nice though, 4 out of 5 points definitely deserved.

"The staff made the stay a great memory"

I was there for a weekend wedding along with several other wedding groups. In spite of how hectically busy they were at the desk, they, and especially the valet Joe, never failed to provide the utmost friendly and courteous service. Joe went above and beyond the call of duty and, with the other personnel, from the desk manager to the gal who took care of my room, they upgraded the quality of the venue, and the memories I took with me, into an exceedingly wonderful place to stay.

Nice hotel, with huge rooms compared to staying in dt NYC. My only issue is that a place of this caliber still has toilet paper that you would find in a gas station restroom in the bad part of town, maybe worse.

For a business stop you couldn't ask for more. Terrific staff, nice full service accommodations. Great bar, pleasant hostess, and quick service. The check-in is painless, efficient , and informative. My first choice when I travel to Long Island.

We are using this hotel to recover from flight out from UK before travelling over to PA. Check in was great, minimal fuss and very friendly and helpful. Car parking no problem. The room is high 4 or 5 star by uk standards. 3rd floor quiet room. Decent level of furnishing and decor and clean. Very comfortable bed and a good variety of comfortable pillows - important to me and so slept well. Air con works well. Fridge, microwave, decent coffee/ tea maker. Little extras like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion all complimentary. Nice to see they are keen to promote environment too. 2 small down sides; the power of the over bath shower is disappointing. Good flow from tap but gets lost on way up to shower head.. . The view from the room is also a bit naff - some sort of factory/plant at the back. Didn't do breakfast as quite an expensive extra Overall as an overnight stop - really good and would use again.

We loved our experience at the Viana hotel for our wedding weekend this past April. The front desk people were so nice and helpful in getting us checked in and friendly and courteous when our out of town guests came to check in. Erin was a great pleasure to work with to book room blocks for our wedding guests. And our new friend, Louis, was the most helpful throughout the weekend, not just to us the bride and groom, but to everyone in the hotel, period. He was so nice, and supportive, and truly cared about our happiness. I honestly can't say enough good things about him. Everyone who stayed there with us loved him as well. And still talk about him to this day. As for the rooms, all our guests complimented how gorgeous and well equipped they were and enjoyed the natural amenities of the spa downstairs.

I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding and we all came to New York from out of town. The Viana was perfection from the moment we walked in. They gave us a warm welcome at the door and I didnt have to lift a finger for a thing my entire stay. The rooms and bathrooms were really nice and the bridal suite was perfect!!! The bride also really loved it and the entire bridal party enjoyed the hotel.

We were guests at the Vianna Hotel and Spa in Westbury NY on July 8th and 9th. As the mother of the groom I wanted to look special. The hotel recommended Erika Jansen for my makeup. She made me feel very comfortable as soon as I sat in her chair. She was easy going and fun to talk too. She was professional and caring to my needs. A testimonial to her was I received so many compliments that night on my make up. I felt like a celeb on the red carpet in a very natural not too overly made up way. Thank you Erika and a special thank you to Christina who did a fabulous job on my hair. I highly recommend this team to anyone staying at the Vianna hotel and spa. Loretta Forked River NJ .

I booked the kitchenette suite to get ready in for my wedding day and it was absolutely amazing! All of the hotel staff or so accommodating and hospitable, especially Louis who was THE MOST helpful person of all!!! There were so many things I had to bring up to my suite for my special day and he was there to help me with anything I needed! Highly recommend!!!

"Good for a one night stay"

The hotel itself is welcoming enough once you set foot inside. The room and the bathroom are nice, clean, and accommodating. However, I would not stay for more than one night because the area of location seems dull, the breakfast the hotel offers is pricey, and the "pool" is comparable to a bucket of water. They really have to renovate the pool, or to stop mentioning it in their advertisement. The presence of the staff was not really felt. Hopefully it was because I spent only one night.

The staff was really helpful with the coordination of my wedding. They extended the bar hours for all my guests who showed up for a little after party and they gave all of my guests who where staying a late check out. The staff was professional and polite and gave us no problems with our requests. I would highly recommend this location.

We stayed here for a wedding. It was our first time staying at a hotel with our baby. The staff at the Viana was outstanding. Each staff member made sure we felt like the only people in the hotel. Louis was the best- by the end of the weekend he felt like an old friend. I would highly recommend the Viana (and ask for Louis)!
