Best Western St Catharines Hotel & Conference Centre

This BW is always under Renos but you would hardly know it. Staff is friendly and very helpful The pool area is handy as there is an indoor pool and an out door pool (in season) Located in a perfect spot just off the QEW and close to many amenities. As noted we will stay here again.

Big pool it wasn't really big but it was a cozy place. I also liked the gym area it was big. The one thing I didn't like is the pool gets pretty packed and the workers are really strict towards kids I had to tell one of the workers to stop harassing my child. But overall a good experience

the hotel has a pool that has a actual staff member sittng in the pool area. it was great. they also have a mini golf area a gorgous court yeard to sit out side. we were there with a Hockey team and they hands down gave the best service and understanding I have ever experenced as a hockey mom. I would 100% recamend them and will be booking with them for next year tournment.

Great Place to stay! Free great breakfast with eggs done various ways each day, sausages, ham, hash browns, yogurt, fruit, bagels waffles, toast and juices. The restaurant/bar attached with a big selection of food and beers local and domestic. Try the hamburgers and chicken wings for sure!

Hotel clean, friendly staff. Room nice...bed comfy....breakfast was good lots of variety. Shower nice...good pressure and hot. Tub didn't drain well but wasn't a big issue. Close to highway, restaurants and shopping

I came with my family plus a large size dog malamute. Very simple straightforward. Very friendly staffs. Total 207.63 dollars (with tax and dog fee and service fee everything combine)for a night during holiday season plus free simple buffet breakfast. Free parking. Clean room with 2 queen size bed. I am very pleased to stay here for 2 day trip to Niagara Fall.

Everything was good with our stay except for the fact that our room ceiling had water bubbles. There must be a water leak somewhere in the ceiling that they have tried to fix successfully. The room should not be in use until said problem is fixed properly.

Location was great for what we needed. Breakfast was good. Waffles, fruit, yogurt, muffins, breads, toast, ham or sausage, home fries, scrambled eggs, coffee, tea, juices, milk, spreads. Pool was nice and warm as well as hot tub. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is lovely inside and the rooms were clean and well kept. There is a lot of construction on the outside so it was hard to find the front lobby at first. Need more signage when you have never been there before. The breakfast was excellent for being included. I found the rooms a little pricey with all the construction going on. We did not know about the construction when we booked. It probably should have been mentioned at the time.

We loved everything about this hotel. Indoor, outdoor pool, video game room, exercise room and full restaurant and bar after 4pm. Hotel provided a full hot breakfast with superb selection of food. Staff at this hotel was exceptional as our stay was 2 nights we had the full experience.

Old elevator is a risk hazard for all users. Breakfast is limited of options and quality. Rooms were dark since there are no windows facing outside. Reception were rude and not flexible, making me feel not welcome. Need more than 1 washer and dryer for all the Hotel.

Front desk staff is helpful and attentive. Got breakfast is great. Indoor/outdoor pools is a huge bonus! Get room 203 with 3 queen beds! Super spacious room that overlooks the indoor pool. If you're travelling with kids, this is the room you want.

Check in was easy., thanks to Alan for this We arrived before check in time but we could use pools, hot tub etc. There are two pools one inside and one out. They have a well equipped gym The outside pool was too cold so only swam inside Hotel is clean, staff are cleaning all time especially pool area. They have a mini golf included in price of room Our room was on second floor looking over pool Room was spacious and clean Bathroom was small but adequate Breakfast was included but needed more variety Also parking was included lots of parking available

So this was a quick one night stop over between Toronto and the Buffalo airport. We hit traffic so ended up getting in around midnight and were checking out by 8 so I really only experienced the room and breakfast. The woman checking me in (I think her name was Crystal? Something to that affect, it was so late...) was SO nice. Got me on my way quickly. Got me an extra towel quickly. We were in room 106, ground floor, patio doors face a parking lot. The hotel can definitely use a little TLC. The carpet was stained, the chair for the desk - the leather was shredding. Bed was comfy, room didn't smell. The bathroom situation was awful - it was CLEAN but... it is super tiny and there is no fan so it steams up incredibly quickly and everything gets soggy from the counter to the tissues to the toilet paper. The shower drain kept flipping up so the tub would fill while showering. This was a big downfall - the bathroom. It isn't a super modern hotel so I had to use a few outlets all over the room to charge our various phones and devices. No USB ports on a desk or anything. Breakfast was unfortunately another con for us. Our hot options were eggs (only ok. kind of dry), sausage and potatoes. There was a make your own waffle, 4 types of cold cereal, instant oatmeal, bread for toast, muffins, apples and a fruit salad. Also yogurt (non Greek). The muffins were only ok and I don't eat sausage. I had a few eggs, some cold cereal and some of a muffin and picked honeydew out of the fruit bowl. Enough to tide me over until I got to the airport but I definitely have had better breakfasts. I am thankful that there was a breakfast area included in the cost. To me it seemed a little pricey for what I stayed in but I am sure some of it was the location. It was also right off the highway. Like I said - we were there for literally 8 hours, but this is what I experienced.

We were in a king suite. The bathroom was disgusting! The bathroom was so small you could barely close the door to access the toilet. The sewer/mouldy smell in the bathroom was nauseating. We bought air freshener and had to spray every time we went into the bathroom. Additionally, the bottom of the bathroom door was all cracked from repeated water damage. There was drywall damage behind the toilet and the wall outlet was old and yellowed and had paint over the edges. I have pictures of all of these things. I will be contacting corporate office and will not give a good review. I am Diamond Elite so I stay in a lot of Best Westerns and this was not worth $249.00/night!

Not as Advertised. Room we stayed full of flies bugs and insects coming from the bathroom. The property is under renovation consider booking somewhere else. Moldy walls very uncomfortable and dirty rooms. The price paid for this room is not worth it.

Room had water damage, moldy AC unit, curtains went from white to orange at the bottom. TV was tilted, had to prop it up. Management wasn't able to move us the first night because the manager left at 8pm and wouldn't be back until 8am. We were moved the next morning and the room was cleaner, but not much better. The free breakfast included barely cooked peameal and soggy homefries. Only felt comfortable eating the prepackaged oatmeal. When I asked what could be done about our bill for the night we had to stay in the moldy room, we were given a $40 discount on a $250 room. Unacceptable.

Don't reserve a block here. Do not stay here. I realize the entire area is overpriced and this may be “cheap” compared to other hotels. Damp, decaying rooms and shockingly poor customer service. Please heed my advice.

When we arrived and checked in, staff was friendly and helpful. However, when we saw the room and came back down to ask for a refund, they were unwilling to do so. The room was dark, dirty, and outdated. Wallpaper was installed over large bumps, carpet looked and felt old and dirty, the bathtub grout was dirty, etc. We will not be staying here again, or recommending to others.

Nice hotel .They are getting ready to remodel. really didn't like the location. I like to be closer to Clifton Hill. I love to be able to walk out of the door and be close to ever thing. It have a nice pool and the help is very nice.

1. Had a closet door that was ripped off. 2. Chipped paint in the corner by the sliding door 3. The sliding glass door to the balcony required a herculean effort to open and close. 4. The sitting chair had a vinyl cushion on it that had been taken from another chair. 5. The coffee makers was a Sunbeam with some kind of coffee tea bag (at 300/night you really should have a Keurig 7. We needed the hold the lever down on the toilet for ages in order for it to flush and it barely did so. At a much lower rate we would have been understanding and simply shrugged our shoulders but this is money that I think most people would pay for a much higher quality experience,

We were the victims of false advertising. The pictures on the website do not accurately represent actual room. The decor and furniture are very dated. We were told that they were in process of renovating. They should say so before offering rooms and showing erroneous pictures. Additionally, the receptionist was very inhospitable. We paid for our rooms with a credit card, and she refused to give us a receipt. Stating that because we booked through a travel agency, they had to send the receipt!!

We stay at this hotel when we visit my wife's children in Niagara Falls. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and the beds are very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is the best of anywhere that we stay.

While the staff were amazing, very helpful, the hotel itself needs a lot of work. Our room had scalding hot water, the shower head was broken, mold on the ceiling, broken doors on the closet and the outlets were not all working. We found hair clips from the previous guests, one on the shower curtain and one under the bed so it made me question cleanliness. The bed was at least comfy and I liked that they had an outdoor and indoor pool.

This was a rundown dirty 'hotel' Check in was slow and the room was musty and damp. The ceiling was full of cobwebs from God knows when. There was a long hair on the bathroom ceiling. They sent someone in to wipe the room down instead of offering us a different one. I asked for a fan to help clear out some of the musty smell. They brought me a very dirty one with black stuff covering the blades. I would be ashamed to offer that to guests. They were doing repairs on the roof. It was 9:30 pm and the drilling continued until I went to the hall and unplugged the long extension cord leading to the roof. The breakfast offering was sub-par and inedible. Needless to say, I will not be back.

Great location , lots of stores nearby, close to the highway, Niagara falls 10 mins away. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of selection, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub and sauna. Also has an arcade on site, as well as a mini putt. Indoor dining room has great selection of food and world class wings.

The breakfast eggs a sausage very bland like hospital food , We wanted to pay up front with cash ,we could but they wanted $200 deposit above the total 3 day rate . . But we could pay cash when we checked out , . hotel needs to review policy of accepting cash when checking in

I used my Best Western points to stay one night. There were a few things which I found unsatisfactory. I was charged $30.00 at check in but at check out I was initially told by the same clerk as at check in that I don't get an itemized printout. She then gave me one but then there were no charges printed on it. I pre checked in and was given the option to say when I would arrive. I said between 2pm and 3pm but at check in, the same clerk pointed to the sign and said check in was at 4pm. It was also advertised as a free “full breakfast” but while it was a help yourself breakfast it wasn't what I would have called full. I tried to use the EV charger but I couldn't get the cord to connect. I had supper at Kelsey's across the road and it was wonderful. The whole experience I wouldn't consider to be up to the Best Western quality.

Great location, free parking, free breakfst, annexd with Costco and other stores. Just a few minutes from Niagara Falls Premium Outlets and 15 minutes from The Falls. A great experince overall. Ask for vegetarian breakfast if meat products are served. Highly recommended.

Great accommodations during our recent trip to Saint Catharines. The staff were kind and caring and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Wonderful hot breakfast with many choices. Overall a great experience and would definitely return!

Don't book a suite. It's only just a room. The floor for the room is called "Executive Suite." But the rooms are no different. Just more expensive. Thank goodness we didn't have to pay to be up-graded to a "suite." We were asked if we would mind being up-graded "to a suite", due to the needs of the hotel that weekend. We were shocked to find that we were sent to just another room. Not a suite. Again, thank goodness we didn't have to pay for that "up-grade."

The breakfast is amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful it exceeded all expectations. In particular Maha made our breakfast experience unforgettable and my daughter keeps asking if we can go back and see her. We throughly enjoyed our stay and we will be coming back again in the future.

I manage a U13 boys hockey team. This was a fantastic place for a weekend lodging. Breakfast is awesome, staff are awesome, pool/hot tub/gym/sauna is awesome and a big space. I'm in charge of trying to make sure my players and their families have a great weekend by finding places to stay that allow us to focus on the task at hand….making memories that are super positive. This by far was our favourite play to stay in all of the 6 yrs x 4 tournaments per year to stay. Well done and thank you graciously for the fantastic experience. PS - the boys won the tournament and I. The dressing room after were chanting the security person's name in their celebrations.

Although the facility is aging, the staff and service and cleanliness is outstanding. I would give this a star rating based on cleanliness and staff, but just fall short on the aging facility, Don't judge a book by its cover is what a say.

The hotel is located a short drive from the QEW and close to restaurants and shopping if desired. The room is comfortable and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is adequate to be able to start your day.

We thought the room had very good amenities such as microwave and fridge in the room. It was a good place to stay while visiting although there is no direct connection to Niagara Falls which would have been good. Other guests and some staff could have been quieter as I got woke up by doors shutting noisily in the corridor. However overall it was a good place and good value for the price.

I stayed with my Husband for my wedding weekend. Was not a great experience if I'm going to be honest. I feel bad reviewing a company poorly, but please… Save your money and go elsewhere. Was upgraded to an executive suite and they said it was free of charge since it was our wedding. Ended up being charged full price. Executive suite? Hahaha what a joke. Outlet covers weren't fully secured on the walls, markings on the walls, dirty… our door didn't lock. When I brought this up to the front desk, nothing was done about it. None of my guests were in the same area of the hotel either even though we booked a 15 room block.

The room rates for weekend stay were a bit expensive. Overall, a good experience. It has a gym, indoor heated pool outdoor pool and mini golf area. The breakfast was buffet style with healthy options available.

Pool and hot tub very nice! TV small and old, needs updating. Bed was comfortable. Blackout curtain did not extend to cover full patio therefore woke to extreme sunlight. Someone's hair was stuck in the hair dryer (gross) vending machines need updating to allow for debit and credit purchases as bank machine in lobby charges $3 for withdrawal.

Always clean, rooms and public areas. Spacious room with balcony, not facing the highway. Request for internal side of the hotel for calm and less noisy. New renovated lobby. Breakfast was good. Very good location for Niagara region and touristic attractions. Locker room in pool area is outdated but clean.

Travelled with my American bully. Room was perfect for the two of us; king size bed. All staff were very nice, helpful and accommodating. It suited our purposes as we weren't staying in the room for long hours but when there, we were comfortable and felt safe.

Joshua was a great help at reception when I called to let him know I had booked multiple stays tl the say room do to traveling miscommunications. He was an amazing help in assuring that we'd be in the same room the entire stay and that my international friend would be able to check in while I was not there. Amazing service and great check-in staff.

The rooms were average, could definitely use a renovation. The elevator was tiny, slow and very difficult to negotiate. If you have mobility issues or don't want to haul all of your luggage up the stairs I would book the first floor or elsewhere! The outdoor pool needs to have the concrete repaired, very unlevel! The pools and fitness center are also open to the public by membership which I found very odd because there were many people sitting around the pool watching my family swim, it was more of a sport for them to watch then partake in any of the fitness equipment or pool. I even had an older gentleman comment on my kids when I got out of the pool, it made me very uneasy. I think the best part of the stay was the proximity to the highway and the breakfast especially one of the ladies that worked there, she was extremely helpful and friendly.

This was well organized situation, had both indoor and outdoor pools, very clean and staff was most approachable-Breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious-especially the new waffle machine! The dry sauna was awesome!

Great hotel, great location, very close to Niagara Falls and Niagara on the lake. Close to great golf courses and sight seeing, such as the Butterfly conservatory. It has a fabulous indoor and outdoor pool.

Breakfast had plastic cutlery and glasses which surprised me with all this waste as they had washable plates so why not cutlery and glasses? A chain the size of Best Western needs to be ahead of the curve in reducing the use of plastics.

Spent $700 dollars for a 3 night stay so I expected a certain level of maintenance and cleanliness. With the exception of the main lobby, this entire hotel is unclean and poorly maintained. It's used as the local YMCA, as local can buy memberships to their pool and fitness center. The pool itself was disgusting, as was the hot tub. You could tell it hadn't been cleaned in days, if not more than a week. When we first arrived we brought our luggage up using the elevator, only to have the most terrifying ride up as it rattled and shook and even dropped down at times. Completely usafe. When I informed staff all they said was yeah they noticed it was making weird noises. Do not waste your money staying here.

Clean place with a great pool. Great staff. Very helpful. The breakfast is ideal for short trips. Very close to the highway. Couple of great restaurant chains close by. Family friendly. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable.

This isn't a bad hotel but, The rooms could be cleaner. (Dont look under beds) My wife is dairy and gluten free. I requested options for her while booking. She was given a frozen muffin. More can be done is this area. The bathrooms are very dated. For the price we paid.($370) I would expect more.

All of the staff from reception to the breakfast attendants went out of their way to cheerfully greet and ensure that all needs were taken care of. The reception counter was exceptionally cheerful and helpful.

The staff was excellent from time of check in to the time we checked out and breakfast was unbelievable. We ate super there also were the food was great along with the staff. Haven't traveled much lately because of covid, thank you

Tammie and her team at the Best Western were so professional and efficient handling a bevy of rowing teams for our Henley Regatta. The rooms were well equipped with quiet air conditioning and the pool/mini putt were a blast for the rowers.

We impulsively decided to get out of Toronto for the night on the Sunday morning of the long weekend. The Beat Western had an executive room available so we booked it and hopped on our motorcycles for a leisure ride down to the Niagara region. Friendly check in, very clean common space and room. The executive room is spacious and comfortable. We didn't realize there was an outdoor pool when we booked. The pool area and courtyard is clean and welcoming. Excellent full hot breakfast included in our room. Port Dalhousie is a quick drive or a 45 min walk to its beach, marina and local restaurants.

Great location just off of QEW and plenty of food options nearby. Although hotel looks very dated and old fashioned from the outside, once you enter lobby you can tell they are trying really hard to refresh and modernise the place now it is a Best Western. We had an issue with our room key, which on returning to the room after heading out for something to eat would not let us into room. After returning to desk twice to try and fix it( which is some trek as we were furthest room away!), the reception guy accompanied us to try and support. Unfortunately he couldnt, however organised another room straight away and then worked tirelessly to try and get our belongings out of the room which he eventually managed. Really good service from Colston( i hope I have name right) - he couldnt of been more helpful and reassuring in a situation he clearly could not of prevented. This hotel is clearly set up for families with the two pools and mini-golf incorporated into the layout. However they have set out one area of the hotel for quieter travellers and it really worked, we were not disturbed once during our stay. Room was clean and well appointed and again they upgrading parts of the room as they go but we had no complaints. Would use again for a stopover when travelling through this area. Again a shout out for Colston - great service!

Didn't sleep well at all the noise level in the hallways was just crazy. There there were so many children running up-and-down the hallways and whoever was monitoring them was not doing their job they're job. The cost of the hotel room alone was not worth the stay. I would not stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend it to anybody else.. They need to get some security if they wanna control noise levels in the hallways.. There is no room in the breakfast area to eat at this time and the staff could not keep up with cleaning the tables nor replenishing the dishes.

This was a most pleasant stay. The location is so convenient. The property had everything that I needed. The experience, from.start to finish, was most pleasant. The two pools was a bonus. I loved seeing people having fun

Only one elevator, which if you have a cart, be prepared to have a hard time. The housekeepers were extremely noisy (worked 10- 12hr night shifts and could not sleep during day because of them slamming doors, hitting walls with carts, yelling)

Great trip and a comfortable stay at BW made it even more memorable. It was nice to stay outside and roust crowed at Niagara Falls. Had a good night and great big breakfast the next morning. Lake always we will be looking forward to stay at the same BW whenever we plan to go N Falls. Most like like next year.

My wife and I pulled into this BW around 10pm after a long drive. It was dark, and the exterior had all the appeal of a fleabag hotel. It wasn't. The service at the desk was friendly, the room quite large, clean, and quiet, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was disproportionately small for the room but the water was HOT. The free breakfast the next day was nothing remarkable, and indeed was the weakest part of our stay--although it was nice to be able to eat off real plates for a change. Moreover, the price was less than many nearby hotels. All in all, an above average budget hotel choice.

We travelled with our dog, we were in a room with a patio door so taking her out was easy. There is onsite laundry for guests to use. $3.00 each for wash and dry. There is an inside and outside pool, close to Costco and other amenities.

Had a great time in St Catherine's for a massive event! I would certainly stay at this property again if and when I am back in St Catherine's! Tammi at the front desk was the best person I have ever dealt with at the front desk of a hotel! Don't ever lose her!

Good location and great staff. Both pools are good and maintained. The hot tube was a good size and hot. Check in and out was a breeze and room was as expected. Both pools and hot tube well maintained. Easy to find and easy to get around the town.

Stayed there the night before my wedding and the night after, hotel staff knew this and put me in an area with rooms full of loud teenagers, needless to say I only got 3 hours of sleep before my wedding because of how loud they were. Hotel staff didnt seem to care when I brought it up to them. Staff also seemed very untrained and didnt know what they were doing when trying to do my check in

Clean room, great service and a good breakfast. The location was good because it was just off the highway and there was a lot of restaurants to choose from. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great front desk staff,great heated pool and hot tub. Standard breakfast but adequate.Horrible waitress in the restaurant. Made us feel like she was doing us a favour to serve us.Room was clean and beds comfortable

The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, breakfast was great alot of options and food. The kids enjoyed the pool. We did not encounter any problems. Will be booking here again we enjoyed the stay very much.

I was excited to stay here but my excitement turned to gloom. The rate I was quoted was not what I paid. I was double charged. My big huge room smelled highly of chlorine. Bathroom tub didn't drain well. Breakfast was terrible. On the plus side. Dinner was awesome! Staff in the restaurant amazing! And if you ever eat here order the TACO BOWL!! But make sure you are hungry! It is huge!!!

We stayed here for a hockey tournament. Breakfast was always hot and plentiful. Customer Service was amazing. I was the arranger for our group booking and the process was smooth right from start to the day we checked out. Very accomodating.

The hotel was deceptive. The lobby is beautiful, well decorated, and clean. The rooms do not reflect that first impression. They are old and the walls are like paper. Linens were clean and I was comfortable staying the night as the bed was comfortable but we did not sleep well as our neighbors left their TV on all night and talked through the night. I'm glad that's all they did... Breakfast was presented well, but fell flat. We ended up ditching our food and going to McDonald's. Overall it wasn't horrible, but it was not worth the price point.

Quiet no issues with noise at all. Will stay again!

They charge for gym equipment, rooms are not clean if you rent a room with pets previously it should be cleaned way better than how it was presented. Noisy rooms, patio door would not lock overall a terrible hotel will not be staying there again

This property is old so the physical state is well worn, beyond that I found it clean and comfortable. The pool area is great, with all the amenities. The breakfast was as good as any complimentary breakfast that I've experienced. My bed was very comfortable and the staff was in the background until needed and then they were very attentive when needed. Location is very convenient for travel and re-supply.

We stayed here for 3 nights as a stay cation. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the restaurant, breakfast and wifi. The staff overall was extremely friendly and helpful.we will definitely be back.

It is a very pet friendly hotel. Being unaware and having allergies I had reserved two rooms and we were put in the same corridor with the room next door being occupied by two extremely large dogs although well behaved and 5 doors down the hall a very, very yappy small dog. Not what I was expecting, very dissappointed.

Stayed for 2 days in time of need. Staff were very good, breakfast was good, rooms were clean. All room related things (clean sheets, towels etc) were plentiful and always available. This particular site is massive and no corner was ignored in the hallways for dust, or chipped paint. You can tell the staff care about their hotel and their jobs.

Very clean. Lobby washrooms were spotless. The room was small but suffice. The restaurant attached to it had great food. Quick service. Reasonable prices. Costco right next door so that is convenient. Close to the highway too.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Especially front desk and gym staff. Gym is very well equiped and large. Hotel is within walking distance of resturants and the shopping Mall for grocery items. Water was always hot and the room heating worked well which we appreciated as it was snowing during our visit.

Very nice clean and friendly and kind staff they were able to accommodate us when we had a problem and switch our room. The restaurant was very nice and the waitress was very kind and helpful. We had a wonderful time

Stayed here for 1 night, and everything is wonderful. Richard from the front desk is extremely helpful and friendly. The reason why I like it here so much is you can go directly to the outside from your room! This is perfect for people who travel with their dogs like us! Walking dogs here is just so much easier. The only thing that needs improvement is the cleanliness. I mean, in general the room is clean except the floor, there were plenty of small trashes on the carpet.

This hotel is always clean and very well maintained inside and out, great value for your dollar but what stands out most is the personalities of the staff. They are friendly and welcoming ,like your staying with friends.

There were a few issues in the room we did bring up to the front desk. She appreciated and aware of. Other then that we did enjoy are stay and we will go back next year. We have been there twice already.

The motel is very conveniently located close to the QEW. The check-in was fast and the staff congenial. The room was clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and the sleep experience is one of the best in any motel. I will definitely stay again.

Had a very bad experience. In a hotel that did not have full occupancy they put another guest in a connecting room. The guest were fighting and abusive through the night resulting in my screaming at them that I will call 911. Why put someone in a connecting room when it is not fully occupied. Terrible experience.

Our room faced the indoor pool, I was under the impression it faced the outdoor pool which would've been closed. Our light fixtures were missing, we had drywall dust all over, the wall paper was peeling away from the wall. Our bedside lamp didn't work. I wouldn't go back.

We did stay with them we originally had two nights booked but instead we only stayed one night. They did let us cancel our second night. Outside of the building is quite old it needs a renovation they do have a courtyard even an outdoor pool it looks like all the rooms have outdoor access. The rooms are newly renovated but the bathrooms are very small, the rooms are a good size. The bathroom shower taps need to be replaced to just one, instead of three knobs to trun on shower and to adjust the water. The front lobby seems newly renovated But the restaurants is closed. they have free hot breakfast they add could muffins and waffles though. They have hot eggs and bacon and toast. I wanted a ground floor room away from the pool. They did not honour that, they gave us a room on the second floor. I requested room with no scents and that was good, they honoured that except I wanted both. I complained to the front desk and that is why they let us cancel our second night and plus it was raining and we also wanted to leave early to start making our way back home. We went for supper after supper front desk eventually found a ground floor room but I said no thank you I said to them Instead we cancelled our second night

The Staff were very helpful, quickly helping with any questions I had. The rooms were very clean. Plus I liked that the location was right off the HWY. When I made the Reservation afterwards I decided to add another night, it was booked but had to be done separately. The staff wasted no time finding it for me and handled it swiftly.

Nadine, Richard and Tammy were amazing! They helped me through a difficult time and made everything so easy. From my first check in, to the extension of my stay, and then finally Tammy booking me for a month stay until I can move into my house. Top notch

Good price that included a good breakfast. However, the room was dark and the air conditioner was very noisy (it rattled). The room was a corner room and next to stairs; you could clearly hear anyone in the hallway.

Very centrally located for our trip. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Bathrooms a little small but adequate. Never heard of a buffet breakfast with out bacon before. Could better enforce the smoking in room policy though. Would book here again.

Staff was very professional and pleasant. Advised on attractions around St. Catharine's. I may stay at BW in Prince Edward County in this Fall of 2021, to see leaves changing colours. Thank a lot BW Hotel.

Stayed here one night after cycling the Welland Canal Trail. The staff welcomed us bringing our bicycles into the room and were very helpful arranging for a taxi cab. A very comfortable bed with crisp bedding, and a surprisingly quiet night despite the road-facing room and other parties in the hotel. The room was clean and had microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. The balcony provided a nice outdoor reprieve and breeze on the late summer evening.

My wife wrote the last review, I thought I would add this, yes there are four rooms in the hotel that are above the pool and hot tub which are indoor so you're getting the air straight from the pool and hot tub room for your air-conditioning whether the air-conditioning is running or it is just venting air. The humidity was probably 100%. Plus the air conditioner would not go any cooler and 68°, our second room went to 60°. I do realize in this time of Covid having a full allotment of employees is almost impossible. So I won't complain about some of the other things. We are not complainers and usually can deal with things many others experience in hotels like bringing here plugs etc. If you don't believe me about the humidity just ask the girls that clean the rooms, they were very good at giving us extra towels when I was talking to them in the hallway and I did mention the humidity in the room they agreed. Also I've never seen a hotel with a joining rooms that you could look under the door. I did notice someone else in the reviews comment on this also. Should be changed. I have included the pictures of the air-conditioning vents after I cleaned them and before.

We were put in the room right above the hot tub. We are from BC and felt we got the worst room in the place. we were unable to open the window and it smelled like the pool in there the whole time. The air condition didn't work properly so my husband had to clean the extremely filthy filters which didn't help. It was extremely humid in the room. They moved us to a different room on night 4 and we were happy with that except for the two inch gap between the adjoining room door and we got look right into the room next door as well as hear everything. We had to stuff pillows to drown out the noise. It felt very creepy. Also we were not told that this was a hotel where people were self isolating from Covid and so our first room was in the middle of that. The hallway was cluttered with garbage and towels and food and smelled bad. The reason I am typing all this is to say that we will never stay there again!!! Oh and I forgot to mention that we were grossed out by the breakfast trays that held the food were still sitting there in the evening with food in it and unwashed. So gross and unsanitary. One morning the breakfst was cold cause they didn't have the warmers on.

Overall it was a good stay. The rates are high and not quite worth it. TV only has SD and for the price we paid in 2021 I'd expect HD. Breakfast was lacking, but ok if you go in with low expectations. In terms of cleanliness, very clean. And the room was nice a big. Comfortable bed, and lots of pillow options.

Supervisor at the time of our visit was the the most rude hotel employee I've dealt with in my whole life. Hung up the phone on my wife. The shuttle that was through the hotel left at 3:45. But they would not check us in till 4. Even though we were in a wedding party in a wedding block. Was told over and over again for 4 hours that "the room was being cleaned and would be ready shortly" 4 calls I made, same response everytime.

Enchanting stay at a hotel filled with people the government mandated into quarantine, whats that smell you ask? Its 100 old food trays from different guests in the hallways all day long which no one can seem to clean up. Don't worry the rooms smell much better, think of old mop bucket and wet dog while you drift easily to sleep at night.

I stayed here 2 weeks ago and had an infestation of bed bugs in my room, all they offered me was 1 night stay. Please be careful staying here!! I have contacted head office and tried to communicate with the hotel themselves. They are not willing to do any more compensation for me even though I now have physical and emotional scars from my stay here!

Hotel was great, allowed bikes in the room. Despite location on map was conveniently located to cycling routes around Niagara, especially Welland Canal Parkway. Highly recommended if you're looking for a bike friendly hotel.

When I checked out I forgot a pair of sanders. When I called about them I was told they were not there. How convenient that my Michael Kors sandiest disappeared:(. I'm hoping after reading this review they will find my shoes.

Very nice hotel for its age, indoor and outdoor pool was nice, sauna and the steam bath was great, got some exercise and pool therapy for my arthritic knees would definitely stay here again, and the breakfast was delicious!

Our HVAC system smelled like it was on fire and set of the smoke detector. The door to the adjacent suite didn't go all the way to the floor and we could clearly hear other guests speaking at normal volume. There was also discarded drink bottles outside our suite exterior door. Very old and dated building. Heard loud, heavy cracks and pops all night. Worst night sleep at a Best Western.

We recently stayed during a hockey tournament. The hotels courtyard was great for the kids and parents to socialize outside and swim in the outdoor pool. The hotel staff was great and very accommodating

After spending 1+ hrs at the time of booking 2 rooms for my family to get rooms with an inside connecting door, was told at reception that this was impossible. Was guaranteed on the phone while making the request that it would be easy to accommodate.

We were disappointed that upon check in, we were not informed of your new policy concerning room service which states that one has to request room service if the stay is for multiple nights. Also, we feel that the $ 30.00 pet fee per night is excessive, especially as there was no room service during our stay. On the positive side, upon arrival the room was clean as were the common areas of the hotel, the beds were comfortable and the breakfasts were adequate. We trust that you will address these issues before our next visit.

There have been many new upgrades to the lobby decor and rooms. Comfortable mattresses ensured a good night's sleep. Covid protocols were excellent. We felt very safe. The breakfast to go was an excellent accommodation during these Covid times.

This hotel is very convenient & located close to all your amenities. Very clean and knowledgeable staff. Close to the highway and shopping center for your convenience. For a good night stay I would recommend this place.

I find this hotel in st. Catharines very relaxing and a convenient place to stay. I enjoy the close by restaurants such as Montano's and also the on-site Hotel restaurant Wrigley's very convenient and good quality memes for the money. Naturally it's a good hub for us to Branch out to do shopping in to visit the sites within the Niagara region

We stayed for two weeks between December 2020 and January 2021 with my family. We really enjoyed the food and the attentions of this hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are very clean, they have a large bathtub. I recommend this hotel in St. Catharines. It is perfect to visit many beautiful places such as: Niagara Falls, natural parks, Lake Ontario, Welland Canal, Vineyard Route, among others. JJ

This definitely exceeds my expectation during this Covid-19 period. The staff is super nice and helpful. I forgot to pack my tooth paste, and was provided with some convenient packs. The breakfast was prepared individually packed. Great location too. Super!

I cannot speak highly enough about Richard on the front desk. I had been looking for a hotel for a few days calling round numerous hotels because I was bringing a dog. Richard was so helpful and didn't make me feel like a leper for bringing my dog. He explained the fees in detail, told me how much the dog was and the total including taxes. He told me about the special offer of buy one night and get one free and instead of just booking the one night we stayed the two nights something we had not planned to do. The room was clean and very comfortable, it was great that it had patio doors that led out onto a grass area which was perfect for the dog. The restaurant was closed for renovations but we still had a nice breakfast yogurt, breakfast sandwich, apple, coffee & juices which we collected from the front desk again from Richard who enquired after my dog. Richard is a dying breed he was so helpful and friendly. Big thank you! We will be back

All rooms have outdoor entrance balcony or patio, with chairs and table.Great box breakfast to be enjoyed in our room, nice indoor pool, reassuring/safe/well maintained sanitary measures in place during this time of Covid 19 Virus. Very reasonably, well priced on site restaurant offering a nice variety of delicious food both in restaurant or take out for the enjoyment in your room.

We stayed for two nights. The staff was amazing. Incredibly helpful and courteous, they went out of their way to make us feel safe and welcome. We had a small issue with one of our taps in the bathroom and the maintenance person was there within minutes to fix it quickly and efficiently. The hotel was unable to serve their traditional breakfast buffet because of Covid but they provided an excellent packed breakfast each morning instead. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a great stay!

Even though the hotel is undergoing a renovation, it is clean and neat and the staff is very inviting. The rooms are a very good size and amenities are what you would expect. The shining star of my stay however was the complementary breakfast, by far one of the best that I've heard. I will be back!

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Check in was quick. Restaurant was great. Good place to stop and have a drink and food. They were remodeling the hotel at the time but very neat and not messy. We had been travelling for a while, hoping to make it home but were getting tired so decided to try to find a place to stay for the night. The staff was wonderful. Gave a room that was quiet. The bed was a dream. We went for a swim. got a snack in the restaurant and then had a super sleep. The breakfast was included in the morning. It was a great way to start the day back on the road.

I Have never stayed at a Best Western before now. I rate this a 10/10. Very clean hotel. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was delicious with many options and friendly, cheerful staff in restaurant .

Excellent service & facility! Stayed 3 nights for a weekend hockey tournament, and although it was noisy at times (lots of kids around), the stay was wonderful. Pool facilities were clean and well attended. In house restaurant (Wrigley's) wait staff was extremely accommodating and helpful (as we had dietary needs for Celiac). Team dinner was also tended to with excellence!! Would highly recommend this place to anybody!

Highly recommend this hotel. Awesome free full hot buffet breakfast served in the hotel's restaurant, with great coffee. Staff members are very caring and professional. Hotel has a very large and complete gym with pool, sauna and spa. Rooms are clean and modern, I always choose the executive section wich is very quiet and private. Located next to the highway and grocery stores, restaurants, services, etc. Excellent choice for any trip, business, family or vacation.

I stayed for one night. I was impressed and would stay here again. The hotel is undergoing renovations so when I entered the main lobby it was very noisy. I thought uh oh. However, there was no issues and I did not hear any noise in my room. The renovations will make the lobby much more attractive and modern. Checkin was very quick and the girl was very helpful. She gave her name at the end of check-in and said to call her if she could help in any way. Nice. Location: perfect for me. I had an afternoon free and was able to walk across the street into Costco and Fairview Mall. Very handy. Breakfast was a full breakfast and was very well done. They had fresh fruit, hot oatmeal, meusli, cold cereal, coffee tea, muffins, eggs, pancakes, ham, sausage, beans, home fries. Really something for everyone. The hostess was very friendly and constantly topping up the breakfast items, keeping it all hot and tidying up. Very well done. They have quite a large gym for a hotel. I used the treadmill and it worked great. Internet was good. I would stay here again and would recommend

A very comfortable place to stay, what I've come to expect from Best Western and no surprises here. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The included breakfast had an impressive variety including a great fresh fruit salad. Check in and out was a breeze. The location is very handy with the Fairview Mall next door and easy access to the QEW highway.

We needed a pet-friendly accommodation on a weekend at the last minute. This Best Western was very comfortable. The decor was pleasing and distinctive. The breakfast was very good. The drive to and from Niagra-on-the-Lake was mostly pretty.

Check-in was awful. We always stay in Best western whenever we go on a trip, however the experience we had this time totally change our mind. I don't think we'll stay here again. Upon arrival, there's nobody at the front desk, we called the hotel multiple times but nobody answered. We end up waiting at the lobby for 40 mins. Finally, the receptionist and security showed up together. We told her we've been waiting for a long time. She told me she was having a break. I understand everybody needs a break, but if you only have two employee working that day, why go on a break at the same time and leave the front desk unattended. Breakfast is good though. Plenty of choices.

This Best Western is a hotel with all of the amenities. It can be viewed as a destination hotel for a wonderful get away. The fitness area is extensive with aquafitness classes being offered. The poolside rooms offer a balcony looking into the inside court area where the outdoor pool is. Rooms are large and complete with all amenities. Restaurant sports bar has a good menu for dine in or take out. Breakfast buffet is plentiful with all of the options offered. Staff in all areas of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. A real surprise and we will be returning!!

First time booking here, will definitely be back. the location is very accessible from the highway. This place is very clean and tidy, they placed us in the area where there'd be no hockey players roaming the halls. lol been there done that.

This was a great place for our teenaged level hockey players. Lots of places nearby for them to go. The other teams here we're quiet and respectful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything needed when traveling on a budget. The breakfast offered was amazing, and i was delighted to see food available for dietary restrictions!!! If ever in St. Catherine's I would recommend this place.

Great location, close to many amenities, great pool for kids and mini golf. Staff were excellent and allowed parents to hang out close to lobby for a social night of games and cards, close to boarder which was nice to pick up my brother to hang out for the wknd as he flew in from the us

We have stayed at the Best Western St. catharines for 3 years in a row for the Wrapped up in the Valley Winery Event. This year there were 24 people in our group, and Tami Riley of the Best Western took care of us like we were royalty. The rooms are spacious and clean, the hot tub, fitness centre and pool are clean and fun, Wrigleys on-site resto has great portions and allowed us to even have a dance party in the lounge area! I highly recommend!

Our group has been doing yearly Niagara wine tours for a very long time and the Best Western St.Catharines is hands down our favorite hotel. Clean, great food but above all fantastic staff! Our stay has been a full 5 stars from the booking to check in and out as well everything in between. We stayed here in October for a wedding in town. The hotel was quiet and the room was well appointed. The cable was spotty and kept breaking up, so TV was difficult to watch. The room itself was at the back of the hotel so it was quite a hike to get from the front desk to the back of the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room included a fridge that was nice and cold. The room was very quiet with no road noise or hall noise to be heard. The hot breakfast was very good (Ham, Eggs, Potatoes, Beans, Toast, Waffles) We were pleased with our stay and would be back in the future if we find ourselves in town.

This is a very nice place to stay. Its clean with very friendly staff. We love the pool and hot tub. We enjoyed the breakfast selection and the staff working in the restaurant were very good. The ladie at the front counter was amazing ( Nadine) She went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

We stayed at the Best Western in St. Catherine's for a funeral. We traveled with children and the hotel supported our timing needs. My children had fun in the pool, full tummies from the breakfast and we felt less stressed because we knew the staff were accommodating to our situation.

Had the pleasure of staying for my husband's Sr. men's hockey tournament being held in Niagara On The Lake. While staying there were several younger hockey teams and while we were not with that tournament, the staff at the hotel did their best to avoid any disturbances for us, eg. putting us on top floor while hockey teams were on first floor. In doing so, we had to disturbances such as kids running up and down halls, or slamming doors. Thank you for that. Our tournament was in NOTL, and this location worked well for us, as it was only 15 minutes from the arena.

This little gem has a restaurant in it and the food was quite good! We were greeted by a lovely lady who quickly found our reservation and when asked if there were any vacancies we were quickly taken care of and in our nice clean room. The linen was lovely and soft, lots of fluffy towels, our bed was comfy and the pillows were perfect. I will admit that the building is a bit dated but it is easily overlooked with the eager to please staff and obvious pride they all take in their jobs. A breakfast buffet came with our accommodations and it was delicious with the usual variety of items. I highly recommend this Best Western for all of the above-noted reasons.

We booked this property for October 12, 2019 for the long weekend. We were checked in to a double Queen room. This is not a high rise property; it only has the main level where the reception, pool and Wrigley's Sports Bar areas are located and an upper level where the rooms are. Wrigley's doubles as the breakfast room each morning. There are hot and cold breakfast options e.g. scrambled eggs, bacon or ham, breakfast potatoes, French toast or pancakes. Other breads and mini muffins. The options may vary on the second or third morning. Oatmeal and cold cereals. Juices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Our room was cramped for a double queen. The room was quite cold and drafty since the balcony sliding doors were not double insulated glass. We could hear the wind whirling and entering through a leak somewhere as it was not airtight. The cold air was also coming in from the space under the room door to the hallway. I had requested a quiet room but we were placed nearest to loud families with annoying kids. Housekeeping did a lack lustre job of cleaning. The carpet was not vacuumed thoroughly when we arrived as grit, sand and pebbles were visible on the surface. No body lotion was left in a room that hold up to 4 adults. The cleaning lady would only leave one mini shampoo and one mini conditioner. We had to ask the front desk for lotion. This was rather annoying as they have the supplies. Perhaps the cleaners took home the mini toiletries for themselves. Probably won't patronize this property again. This property is quite dated and is overdue for a total refurbishment.

Stayed at Best Western St.Catherines for 3 nights and we were very pleased with the hotel, amenities and the staff!! Nice breakfast options each morning and Lucinda and the rest of the staff in Wrigley's Sports Bar were 10/10!!Clean room, nice pool, hot tub and steam room were great!! We liked this hotel, the staff was super friendly, the free breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. Each room has its own balcony; we stayed on the lake st side which when on the balcony is pretty noisy...I would recommend asking to either be put on the n.service side facing the costco..it would definitely be quieter as would the rooms facing the pool. There is a restaurant in the hotel and tons around (Montana's, Kelseys, Pizza hut, Tims)

We ahve stayed here a few times over the past 5 years, great location! This time we ended up right beside the laundry room. I have been complaining about 3 different ihg locations that we stayed at on this same trip with the senior rate and a bad location for the rooms maybe due to the rate. We were out and returned at 10 pm to a very long night of laundry noises. At 6 am it sounded like the dryer was filled with running shoes banging and banging. I complained at checkout the lady apologised and said we should have asked for a different room, my reply too late at 10 pm. So am I correct on the quality of senior rate rooms? We had a wonderful breakfast, the staff went out of their way to accommodate and are to be commended. So is it time to book under regular rates?

I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and this time i decided to eat at the restaurant. While walking in i saw a sign about wings. I asked the waitress and her reply was ; front page. My next question was the beer on draft. Her reply was , its on the board. I wont go back.

Perfectly clean rooms. Day-to-day variety of breakfast. Quiet area. Friendly and helpful staff. There was one outage of internet access for a few hours one morning, but otherwise the access was excellent. There are several good places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. Room was ok but not good enough for $212. Very slow and poor check in. Free breakfast was very good. The distance (layout) from rooms to lobby and restaurant was too long and confusing for many of those in our group

This hotel is a convenient place located in an area where the options for a reasonable priced stay can be exorbitant as the area is a touristy wine country. The Hotel is close t the highway and a number of key fast food restaurants, banks, and gas stations. Hotel reception area and restaurant and hallways are clean as are the rooms. This is the kind of place that will not be the highlight of your trip, but a perfectly adequate and comfortable place to rest. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, and service friendly and prompt. I wish the 2 night minimum was not a requirement.

We stayed for two nights for a wedding. Stay was enjoyable but I did find it rather pricey. We booked a King room as we were there for two nights, but we were given a double queen room. We were told that there were no king rooms left as they were fully booked... we had booked 7 months in advance. And we were charged for the king room.

Great hotel, location and value. Excellent breakfast included! Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in St Catharines. Indoor and outdoor pool. The kids really enjoyed their stay. They even had a mini putt.

Have stayed at two different BW recently and both were great.Amazing pillows and beds were very comfortable. The welcome bag with water and snacks is a very nice touch. Have been and Hilton Honors traveler for years but I will be changing over now.

This hotel has a pretty nice sheltered outdoor pool as well as a decent indoor pool, hot tub and workout area. The bar/restaurant is pretty good for drinks and pub food. There is a good restaurant right across the street. The staff here is very friendly! The free breakfast buffet was just okay. I would definitely recommend the king suite type room.

Book this hotel on expedia, rates was great for labor day weekend for a family of 6, room was very spacious, had all the amenities needed, room even had an over view of the indoor pool, hotel was nice easy to get to from highway, the outside of hotel could be updated, but the inside was more modern, hotel offers putt putt, indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, and for real a full size gym, hotel restaurant has the best wings Wrigleys, hotel breakfast was pretty good (filled up the kids every morning) I appreciated the polite staff even with it being extremely busy that weekend, my only complaint would be our bathroom tub was stopped up it was like taking a shower and a bath at the same time, inform the staff they was not able to get maintenance and when I inform the front desk at check out she was very apologetic but her reply was "i am sorry I would compensate you but since you book through expedia there is nothing I can do"...ughh #frustrated, would I stay there again Yes I would but make sure I get a room with properly working bath tub

Stayed for 6 nights during Canadian Henley. Paid extra for room in executive wing due to hotel being full of kids. It was quiet but a long walk to main hotel area. Only one laundry room in entire hotel made for long waits and people moving clothes. Room view of pool was nice. Like the sliders but only bc second floor. Kids room broken into and valuables stolen on first floor through the sliding doors. The locks didn't work properly and bar broken. Cleaning service was fabulous in our room. Done early so when we returned it was great. Pool was clean and nice. Restaurant in hotel had good food. Overall good stay.

Average Best Western. Rooms are clean, breakfast is fantastic. Staff were friendly. Nice location close to restaurants and grocery store. It's always nice to have the fridge and microwave in the rooms.

Check in was quick and the receptionist was very pleasant. The room was clean and beds comfortable. Unfortunately due to the design of the curtain pelmet, the curtain does not cover the entire window, so there is a shaft of bright light into the room all night. The toilet seat was dangerously loose and the ironing board was broken, both these things were fixed soon after we reported them Breakfast was good and plentiful, waiting staff are a bit too efficient, we left the table to get toast and when we returned, our unfinished drinks had been cleared and other people were sitting there. After that we left some personal items on the table and that didn't happen again. We didn't use the swimming pools or gym but all looked good. I needed to do some printing, so the computer office was very useful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would visit again.

This hotel was one of several recommended by family living in St. Catherines, so we booked a four night stay. Very enjoyable, clean and friendly staff. Good location. The one minor issue we encountered was the A/C unit ran continuously, non-stop, which was somewhat annoying but acceptable. Good value for money.

Great amenities! Pool, putt putt golf and 2 swimming pools along witb sauna and hot tub. Poil side room was amazing. We had sliding glass door that led to the outdoor pool wgich was beautiful. They gave us late checkout.

So many good things to say: great pools (indoor and out), courteous staff, clean facilities, easy check in and out, very good restaurant on site, nice room (deluxe king suite), great location to visit wine country and the entire Niagara region. The negatives: a king mattress that should have been changed ages ago as it literally sunk in the middle to the point that we had to put pillows down the middle so we didn't fall on to each other. We were there for 5 nights, so we complained after two days, but all they did was turn the mattress which made little difference. I was told they would have to order a new mattress which would take a long time in their words. Quality control should have been on top of this ages ago. Needless to say, we didn't sleep well the entire stay. Our room also wasn't cleaned one day even though we were out from 9 am to 4 pm. The following day, they didn't change the few dirty facecloths and towels we used and put in the tub. They just put the dirty ones back up. We had already used them for 3 days and the facecloths were visibly dirty.

Take my advice, don't stay in Niagara Falls. This place is only 20 minutes outside of the crush of the Falls. Quieter, cheaper, and a nice base for many of the activities that the Niagara region offers.

Nice, spacious rooms with mini golf, interior and exterior swimming pools and fitness centre. Breakfast is also extensive. Good restaurants nearby and easy to reach Niagara from here. Kids enjoyed and we could come to relax and strength mid the long travel. Good value for money.

We stayed there 4 nights with our 2 kids. Loved our pool view room on the ground floor... Direct access to pools and mini putt.. Kids felt they were in a resort. The pool area probably has some agreement with a local Golden age cir le based on classes and attendance at the pool. Kids were happy none the less. Breakfast was OK.. Hit and miss and repeat every other day. Beans, at 8.00 am are not my thing... And they could offer waffles instead of pancakes but all in all OK. 4 stars, only because for some reasons one day they did not clean up our rooms... Coming back at midnight after a long busy day at the Falls it was quite a downer... Front desk was very sorry and gave us fresh towels on the spot ( late check out as a comp too... Nice.) All in all very happy with our stay there. If you come with a family you must ask for a pool view room. It makes, a world of difference.

On July 15, 16, departing 17th, I brought 47 clients through our travel agency in Ottawa to attend the Shaw Festival and Niagara Falls touring. I want to express my appreciation to Tanya, Debbie and Tammy. I hope I have their names correct. I had a number of clients that experienced medical concerns and had to be either taken by ambulance and needed assistance to get to pharmacy for insulin. On the morning of July 16, an ambulance had to be called for one of my clients that thought she was having a heart attack. Tanya attended to this woman, stayed with her and on her return brought her something to eat. On the first evening, the girls at the reception helped me to contact the different pharmacies to see if they were open before my clients took a cab to the location. They were all very pleasant and accommodating and couldn't help me enough. I knew they were concerned for the welfare of my clients. As a Tour Director responsible for many clients and their needs, their assistance was greatly appreciated. Thank you to your staff. They deserve recognition!!!

I personally always attempt to stay at best western properties for work. The rewards system allows for free stays and gift cards to accumulate quite easily. This property is located quite nicely for access to Lake Ontario. Has clean rooms and two awesome pools one outside and one inside. Rooms could use an update soon but they are functional. I will stay again.

This was a very nice hotel. The people at the front desk were very helpful and answered our many questions. Be prepared that the set-up is different from most hotels. You mostly go up and down a large staircase; there is an elevator but it's to one side and not used as much. They have luggage carts, but the building isn't really set up to use them. You have to go around very sharp corners in order to get the carts in & out. They have 2 pools: one inside and one outside. The gym / pool area has its own person who runs them. The outside pool was closed while we were there. They also have a mini golf course. Don't expect it to look professional since it mostly winds between places where people sit or do other things. But it's fun to play.

Very clean rooms, wonderful staff, absolutely amazing breakfast! As someone with significant food limitations (gluten and dairy free) there was plenty for me to eat...practically unheard of at a free continental breakfast! Breakfast meat, oatmeal with strawberries (and even almond milk in the fridge!), hard boiled eggs, fruit. Very cute little courtyard with a pool and mini golf course (not much but fun if you have kids). Nice pool with hot tub and work out room. The price was wonderful and it's a short 20 minute drive from Niagara Falls and a whole lot cheaper than anything much closer! Plenty of shopping within walking distance, and St. Catherine's is a very cute little town! The layout kind of sucked. The single elevator was in a corner of a U shaped building, and we were at the other end of the U. Elevator was also very difficult to get into with a luggage trolley as you have to enter a tiny room with no handicapped button. We got stuck getting out of the elevator as someone was already occupying the room with another luggage trolley. I would still give it 5 stars because all in all a minor inconvenience. Once we were in our room we just used the stairs. I understand that changing the layout of an old building is not easily done, but tips for other travelers...don't even bother with the luggage trolley. Just park near your room and use the stairs. And if stairs are difficult for you, stay on the ground floor. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Niagara!

I stayed here with our son's hockey team while attending a tournament this past weekend and I do not recommend this place to anyone!! First it was really a motel class hotel in a town that's basically bordered out. Not many choices to eat or shop in the area since a lot of businesses are closed down and out of business. You drive a couple of blocks looking for places to eat to find a deserted town. It's sad really. A warning about this hotel, look at your bill before you leave for unexpected charges. I was charged for a pet fee although I didn't have a pet with me. I called the hotel on my way to me to US and the front desk manager basically called me a liar about me not having a pet with me and refused to remove the charges. I also called headquarters and they did nothing. My only option left is to dispute these charges with my credit card and I will do just that. DON'T STAY there unless you have no other choice. I will never use this chain of hotels ever again. You don't even get what you paid for.

Would not recommend. They messed up lots of our guests reservations, including our own. We stayed there the night of our wedding and were very disappointed. Save yourself the hassle and stay somewhere else.

Stayed here with my mom and son after doing a wine tour in Niagara on the Lake, room was facing outdoor pool and mini golf, my son really liked that. The weather wasn't the greatest so we didn't use the outdoor activities, my son did go swimming in the indoor pool, it's small but very clean. Beds and pillows were amazing, my mom said it was more comfortable than her own bed at home. Room was older but clean. Breakfast is free and had a great selection, coffee, muffins, pastries, toast, fruit, yogurt, they had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and pancakes, for free who can complain? We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Outdoor pool was closed most of our stay due to a human error. We received NO type of compensation for the inconvenience even though they were aware that that was the reason we booked here. Had 3 rooms. Mini golf needs work. Good location. Rooms were good- clean, comfortable. Hated the fact people were smoking on their poolside patios which made it hard to enjoy ours. Overpriced on weekend.

Very convenient location. Easy access from QEW and main road of the city. Hot tub, sauna workout with indoor pool. Private mini-putt beside the outdoor pool. Relaxing and quiet. Nice sports bar/restaurant attached. Kelsey's, Perkins, Montana's and all big box stores within 5-minute walk. Niagara Falls 12 minutes by car

Pictures deceive. Food smelled horrible. Cob webs in closet. Bathroom does not have working vent. Cannot open the door fully. Dirty windows. Sink water didn't always work. Loud sounds from AC. For the price, totally not worth it!

Stay was great. Kids loved both the indoor pool and outdoor pool. The mini golf course in the courtyard was great for a few laughs. Rooms were clean and in working order. Bed was softer than I prefer but I like a firm bed.

I enjoyed our stay, very much. Rooms were clean. The staff was very helpful, and friendly. I didn't use the pool, but my niece did, and she really enjoyed it, along with the hot tub. My son and I met our family in the restaurant, for breakfast, and we all enjoyed it. Thank-you for everything.

A very good hotel. Beds and pillows were great and staff were excellent. Hot tub is closed every Wednesday for cleaning and of course we were there Wednesday night. But we did get a chance to use it Thursday and it was good. There was an indoor and outdoor pool and a sauna. The whole pool area would be great for a family looking for some swimming time

We stayed here just one night while attending our grand daughters grad at Brock. Hotel was clean enough and looked recently renovated. However, it still felt dated and tired. It is definitely a motel from the 60's. Free breakfast was disappointing - not a great selection and poorly presented.

Bathrooms need to be renovated but the hotel overall is clean. Free breakfast is a bonus Nd there is lots to choose from it's not just croissants and bagels. Eggs, sausage and pancakes, cereal and yogurt.

Handy place to stay. Close to shopping. Very clean. Has indoor and outdoor pools. Executive wing was very quiet although a long walk from/to the elevator. Breakfast was your average buffet type. Staff was very nice.

Very satisfied with the accommodation, the rooms were clean and spacious. Excellent breakfast, good selection and trays replenish as needed. Fresh and healthy food options. Convenient location, easy parking and pleasant staff. No doubt we'll return and stay when in the area.

We were very satisfied here. We are staying again at the end of this month and looking forward to it. Breakfast was varied and delicious and complimentary. Location was a plus as it was just off the highway.

Bathroom is ridiculously small. You cannot stand in the washroom and close the door. Vanity is only as high as the top of your thigh. No screen door on the patio door. Closet door would not close and light comes through the drapes

We stayed for 1 night on a free voucher, closest one to Niagara now, the fridge was loud. Everything else was fine. The bed was comfy. Didn't stick around for breakfast so can't comment on that. But it was ok.

maintenance seems to be a low priority at this hotel, room telephones(2 different rooms) either didn't work or the buttons were missing. The bathroom in the first room had shoddy repairs done on the walls and the door was disassembling at the bottom interior. The second room that we moved to was billed as a suite was only marginally larger than the first room. This hotel has only one elevator and the second room assigned was on the far side of the building from the elevator.

Hotel was selling old hotel furniture in lobby (chairs that had $40 paper labels), breakfast staff did not take one step or say one word, front desk seemed like they were doing me a favor to check us in and interrupt doing nothing. Sink had dirty rim around the edge.

Staff were awesome; room was good; food - had a salad for dinner that was excellent; breakfast was okay. Cost was really high but I'm not a big traveller. $377 for two nights sleep seemed excessive to me.

The staff at this hotel were amazing. All super friendly and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. We were staying there for a hockey tournament and we would highly recommend families to stay there as the staff is incredible.

We picked the hotel because of the great price, free breakfast, free parking and indoor pool, as well as being close to Niagara Falls. The hotel is right off the highway, but you'd never know it - there was no road noise at all inside. I have only one complaint. There is not enough sound proofing from the hall to the room, so people talking in the hallway was easily heard at night. It was great to have the patio door at our parking spot for easy unloading. And the staff was fantastic. Especially the restaurant staff, who happily accommodated gluten-free and dairy-free diet requirements. Every one of the servers had a sincere smile on their faces and interacted with us all - a group of 9 which included 4 children. We would love to stay here again! And a bonus - it's just minutes from the Outlet Stores.

I and son had good time in this hotel stayed weekend basketball games with his team. Easy check in/out(express c/o was not available). Hotel staff were friendly and helpful :-) There is Costco in walking distance and 5 min drive to the Mall(Fairview mall/not fancy one). Kelsey is just across the street for team dinner/lunch. Swimming pool was good for ten kids to play and had enough space for parents to watch. Room was clean and nice(2queen beds) air conditioning/heating unit need to updated too noisy each time it's on and electric outlets needs to improve (there are many in the room but when you try to charge the phone some of them are not working) Breakfast was so so... over all our team had a good time!

We stayed as a team for a tournament in the area and when we first pulled up I was a little nervous because it looked dated but the rooms were clean, the pool area was fun for the kids, the buffet in the morning was great and all of the staff was friendly.

My daughter and I stayed over rather than drive home in a snowstorm. The staff was nice, the room was nice... The hotel was overrun by hockey families... Literally running up and down the halls. The pool was jam packed with screaming kids. The adults partied loudly in the room next to ours. And worst, the breakfast staff was completely unprepared to serve so many hungry people. They did try, though. We waited a long time for pancakes, didn't get any, and broke our fast on brown beans and yogurt.

This hotel felt like we staying in a 4/5 star hotel,the room was super clean and kept that way everyday and room size was good and bathroom big and plenty of amenities topped up everyday if only all where like here Thanks everyone

Had a nice weekend away at the best western in St. Catherines. The room was exactly what we had requested and the rate was very good. Everything was clean and nothing was missing. Breakfast was included and was better than your typical continental breakfast. Staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to please. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here in the future.

The Owner/manager was GREAT! The staff at the hotel accommodated our Hockey family/group really well and ensured that our stay was great! They took great care of the team, even ensure there was plenty of food for the players when they returned from their 8am game.

We are appreciated having a room in proximity to the front lobby & indoor pool entrance due to my elderly mother's limited mobility. The decor of the room and bathroom have been updated very well and were very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The family really enjoyed the wonderful indoor pool and the delicious buffet continental breakfast. Hotel staff were very helpful & friendly. Overall, it was exceptional value. We plan to return.

I was disappointed that the room I ended up staying in was not the room that I booked. I ended up staying in a room that had 2 queen beds and I had booked a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. This was quite disappointing. I had confirmed via email the day before and I was told that I had booked 2 queen beds and a pull out, so that my children had somewhere to sleep. We have previously stayed here and had no issues, but this year we weren't overly thrilled due to the wrong room. My parents also stayed in a different room and the first room they were assigned was already occupied. They did have another room for them- thank goodness, but they went to the initial room that they were given, opened it and there was someone else already there.

Stayed at this Best Western recently while visiting some relatives, and was pleasantly surprised by accommodations. Comfortable bed, spacious room, appetizing breakfast, friendly staff. Exercise equipment plentiful but dated.

The hotel looks a bit old from outside but not bad once your inside. The beds were very comfortable! We were here for a tournament and it had everything we need and the kids had a good time in the pool.

PROS: Rooms clean. Staff very helpful and pleasant, Bar food was good and server was very nice and pleasant. CONS: Rooms a little cold, needed another blanket, but not in room, Heat/Air was noisy kept me awake.

Hotel Staff is Awesome. Beds are super comfy. Easy access from the QEW and only 10 minutes from Brock University and only 15 min from Downtown Niagara Falls. Pool and Hottub area are clean and lots of space

Has made some improvements since last stay there. Staff are very cheerful and helpful , our room was very nice and clean. Wireless Internet worked better than last time . Needs improvement in the breakfast area ,poor flow of traffic resulting in waiting longer than necessary for your items making the other items you selected cold when they should be hot.Have made several suggestions over several stays but they don't seem to be able to improve the service.

Older hotel with poor HVAC system, showers that are less than expected, TV in SD (really it's 2018). Check-in was very poor, told to go away for 30 minutes, came back to huge lineup, had to leave to go back to the rink, didn't check in until 8 p.m.. Was told by teammates parents they arrived 30 minutes before me, were told the same and got a room when I was told to go away!! WTF.

Friendly staff, overall clean hotel. Our room was in the Executive suites area which was key card entry only (a nice bonus), however our bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, and the soundproofing on the door and windows was non-existent. Ear plugs recommended! Location was fine, we stayed one night while visiting wineries in the area.

The hotel stay was excellent. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good also. We thought that we were lost and the hotel clerk guided our way.

Close to wineries and good restaurants this hotel was a good place to stay. It does appear to be a popular place for sports teams to be so if you want quiet ask for the Executive wing if possible. This was our second time using this hotel as a base for winery visits.

This hotel is well-located near the Queen Elizabeth Way. The room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Hamburgers at the Wrigley's Restaurant appear to be homemade. The breakfast buffet was varied and fresh. Food was constantly being replenished. All staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly.

The hotel was clean, the bathroom counter had enough room for my cosmetics, there were 2 chairs in the room, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was awesome and more than ample, the staff were exceptional and when we had a noise problem one night of our stay we were compensated far and above what we expected by Debbie and the manager. They also helped us cancel one day of our stay that we were having trouble with Expedia cancelling for us. They also signed us up for the Best Western awards program that gives us discounted pricing and gave us extra points. I would say this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in when it comes to value for stay and customer service.

Sauna and hot tub were so relaxing I never used all the fitness machines they have! Good rooms have microwave, fridge, and coffeemaker, good breakfast in nice Sports restaurant, good pool. Convenient to highway. I bought IKEA stuff right next door and stopped at the huge Outlet Mall. Shaw Festival, Fort George and wineries were 20-25 min. I plan to stay here again next year.

We stayed at the hotel per the advice of friends with whom we were visiting the area, Not sure we would have chosen it. The area around it is close to Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, but it's surrounded by shopping centers. The exterior is very pedestrian. The staff was very helpful, but the lay-out of the hotel is awkward with only one elevator (NOT convenient to our room and we were on the 2nd floor). The bed was comfortable and the room basically clean, but the lobby area needed dusting and the vent by the indoor swimming pool was filthy.

Front desk are very friendly and amazing to work with. Location is just off the QEW and is close to everything. Took a slew of clients to the Wrigley's restaurant on site , regular pub food , again excellent service and very friendly. My clients truly enjoyed there time here . Rooms are clean with very good beds , very comfortable. Would recommend staying here .

We had a room with 2 Queen beds. Room was clean and beds were comfy. The hotel was busy but it was nice and quiet. Free breakfast buffet in the morning. Had everything we needed including lactose free milk which is so hard to find in hotels/restaurants! The attendant was so helpful and so diligent in keeping the counters clean. Can't remember her name but she wears braces. Thumbs up! Went for a swim in the indoor pool. Temperature was just right. Hot tub was nice. The outdoor pool was still open in mid-September. Huge pool and had a great swim! The water was just right for an outdoor pool in September. Did several laps and wish we could have stayed longer. Awesome outdoor pool and patio. Bonus: the 18 hole mini putt in the courtyard! Our daughter loved it! Tami at the Desk was great, always with a smile and full of energy! Nice stay. Nice people.

Recently stayed the night for a friend's birthday and to visit the Niagara Grape & Wine Festival. The hotel looks pretty drab from the outside, but I was pleasantly surprised once inside. It's much larger than it appears, has two pools (indoor and outdoor), and a restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Added bonus, there was a free buffet breakfast!

This was a great hotel, especially since we never stay in a Best Western. The rooms were very clean, they offered free breakfast in a restaurant style room. The hotel was shaped like a square with a small courtyard in the center for kids to run or play putt putt. They also has an indoor and outdoor pool which we did not use, but we did use the fitness center. It was one of the larger ones we ever had in a hotel. The was cardio equipment, free weights, and machines. We spent two hours in the gym and would have spent more if not for a full schedule ahead of us. We would definitely recommend this hotel if in the area.

Great hotel. Good rate. Two pools. One inside and one outside which was nice considering the weather was great for September. Best hotel gym that i have ever seen and used. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant attached to the hotel was very nice. Close to the QEW so easy to get around. 10 minutes to outlet mall or 20 to Niagra falls. Great value.

We stayed for a few days while visiting Niagara Falls. Having a car made this place a great choice. There are restaurants and a shopping centre just a few minutes walk away and in the car it's only 15 minutes drive to the centre of it all. Staying at St Catharines is a wise choice We upgraded to an Executive room and it was quiet, large and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and large. Wifi worked very well. Pool was pleasant. All staff interactions were super pleasant. Room was always clean. Our only gripe was that our non smoking room had a connecting door to a smoking room. They would open their balcony door, smoke and the wind blew the smoke into our room. We stuffed towels under the door and this helped. I suggest to management to make smoking rooms non connecting, or better yet go 100% smoke free. Otherwise it was a great stay.

If you need a stay that fits outside of the hotel's script, forget this location. Front desk staff are ill equipped to work outside of it, and they become rude and condescending if you try to make an arrangement that suits your need. In one phone call they lied about travel times between my locations to lure me to making a booking. Customer service? Forget this place.

The staff made my stay as comfortable as possible. Hotel might need some upgrades like better lighting, power outlets, and bathrooms. In one of the rooms when I plugged in my phone charger it kept falling out and the bathroom sink wouldn't drain as it should. The room felt dark even though there were a few lamps in the room. Also, it may need new beds as I noticed in my room.I would rate it as average to good value - the property was about 20 minutes drive from the Falls so I would expect it to be cheaper. The breakfast was included in room price and it was great. Parking was also included.

We brought our daughter up to University and this hotel was a good location not far from school and close to shopping and only about 15 minutes to Niagara Falls. Hotel staff were very friendly and it had all the amenities we needed(restaurant on-site, free buffet breakfast, indoor and outdoor pool, fitness room, extra cot for room). We would definitely stay here again!

This is a large hotel on two floors. The rooms themselves were spacious and clean. There is, however , only one small elevator. It could hold 4 people if they had no luggage. It was also a long way from our rooms and so we had to use the stairs since the only parking spot available was a long way from both the front desk and the elevator. if you have trouble with stairs, request a first floor room.The breakfast was better than most hotels we have stayed at. One problem was that although it was over 30*c, they chose to re- tar most of the parking lot the day we arrived. Parking near the hotel entrance was scarce to non-existence.

Couldn't of asked for a better hotel and nicer staff... I took my family there for a night for a shopping trip. We were so surprised there was two pools and an amazing restaurant... Breakfast was really good... The front desk staff were very friendly and great to deal with.

The Best Western St. Catherine's is a pretty standard Best Western. The rooms and hotel grounds are nothing special, but inoffensive and functional. They have a restaurant that serves a pretty forgettable breakfast, but it is free for hotel guests. And they also have a decent pool area, with some mini golf beside it. There is nothing spectacular or memorable about this place, but then again, that's not what a Best Western is about. As long as you keep your expectations in check, you won't have anything to complain about.

My family & I stayed there for 5 days while visiting Niagara Falls. The price was great considering it's only a 15 minute drive to Niagara Falls/Clifton hill area. Check in was swift and smooth and Nadine was very welcoming & informative. The rooms are a little dated but the beds are very comfortable and the room is very spacious. We had a room that had a view of the pool & the gardens/miniature golf with a little patio! It was great because we could sit on the patio & watch the kids play miniature golf & accessing the pool was a breeze! There is a microwave & Fridge in the room and the TV has quite a few channel selections even though we seldom watched TV. The only thing we didn't like about the room is the size of the bathroom. It's small!! There is barely any space between the door and toilet & you can't have 2 people in at the same time. This is an issue especially if you have kids like in my case & are trying to help them shower or brush their teeth. There is a complimentary breakfast offered every morning which is actually really good. Everyday was a little different but pretty much comprised of pancakes, eggs(scrambled, fried & omelettes), beans, Ham, sausage, cereal, fruit, pastries etc. The people who have said that you have to go early because they run out that is not true. There was always plenty of food even when we came in late & they are always refilling the stations. There is an indoor & out door pool. We used both & we loved them. There is also a Sauna & hot tub. Kids under 12 are not allowed so my youngest had to sit on the step & only put his feet in?? The other thing I noticed is that the pool & gym are open to the public & many locals would crowd the hot tub & with a max of only 7 people allowed we would have to sit out. There is a restaurant on site that was just ok. We went for dinner one night and the service was painfully slow & the place was not even busy. We never went back again. We absolutely loved this hotel because its so convenient to Niagara Falls & it's located in an area that has many eateries, a supermarket & a Costco. We went out at night for the fireworks at Niagara & it was just the perfect location! We would definitely recommend this hotel & we plan on coming back again.

Old style motel/hotel with centre court. The court area became a party zone into the early morning. I had to call front desk a few times. The room was damp and musty smelling but we were able to open patio door to let in fresh air. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Surprisingly nice hotel. From the outside, I was a bit skeptical, but you walk in and it is all refurbished and clean. Rooms were clean and spacious with updated decor and flooring. I had a room that was on the perimeter and had patio door access. It was nice to have the vehicle close to load/unload the truck. Great water pressure in the shower. It is a family friendly hotel. There is an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a mini putt. The only thing is is that children under 7 are not permitted in the hot tub. My 1 year old is a water baby and loves the hot tub (he is only in for a few minutes when I take him at home). So this was frustrating.

We stayed here recently. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. The hotel was clean and up to date. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of walking and seeing the sights of Niagara Falls and the African Lion Safari. We had a pool view room. I was nervous it might be loud, but it was very nice! There was an oak tree outside our balcony that gave us shade, privacy, and muffled any noise. The room included a nice sized refrigerator, the desk lamp did not have USB ports (so pack your adaptors), the bathroom was small but clean and updated. The included breakfast was fabulous. Scrambled eggs, ham slices, omlets, sausage, waffles, cereals, toast, english muffins, fruit, juices, tea and coffee were served. My one complaint was for the restaurant onsite. One evening we were too tired to go out and decided to eat in the onsite bar. While the food was good, the service was slow, and incompetent. It may have been an abberation or new personnel. There were no service problems with breakfast. This is a nice option that is a quick drive away from the business of Niagara Falls Overall, I can recommend this hotel as a nice location with excellent staff.

The hotel was great. The beds were very comfortable and the television had a lot channels. The bathroom was a little small but still suitable. The indoor and outdoor pool were great. The outdoor pool was colder than the indoor pool. The customer service was good. The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, muffins, french toast, fruit, and yogurt. I recommend to anyone.

We didn't expect much from the room (especially after coming from a Homewood Suites the night before) and not having the square footage listed anywhere, but it was a little longer than the average hotel room. There was actually room between the bed and the balcony (usually the second bed is so close the window). The carpet was much cleaner than expected so that was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was really small, though, making it hard to help our young daughter take a bath/shower. The pools were a lot colder than we would have liked (it seems Ontario at least doesn't do a lot of pool heating, possibly as an environmental thing and surely to save money), but the hot tub was very hot. Unfortunately, since our daughter is under 12 all she could do was sit on the edge and put her legs in so I couldn't use it and I was too cold to actually get in the pool. I also couldn't use the sauna because of our daughter's age but would have surely gone in the pool if I had these 2 hot options to warm up in. I also didn't know ahead of time that the pool and workout area is used as a membership gym by the locals,meaning they are in the space as the same time guests are; it seems most of those using it are seniors, so they mostly used the hot tub (which unfortunately I couldn't enjoy anyway). Before the membership gym attendant told us our daughter could only sit on the edge of the hot tub, some of the senior members told us the hot tub jets were so weak because management feels strong jets dispersed chlorine in the air and then they have to pay more to replenish it; so if you're looking for a strong-jetted hot tub this will not deliver. The breakfast was a little lower standards than others we encountered in the area. There were a lot of choices, but flavors weren't always there. For example, there was a nice selection of muffins,l but they were very artificial tasting. Based on other reviews and since it takes place in their full-service restaurant I guess I had the wrong idea. It wasn't crowded at all (we were there on a weekday) so that was a worry that never was realized. I debated about choosing this hotel because of the courtyard style and all the activities that could happen there (outdoor pool, mini golf) but was relieved to find the courtyard closes at dusk. We were almost expecting a campground-type atmosphere with the courtyard setup. Since the hotel is basically a large 2-room-deep rectangle, there are just 2 long hallways leading to rooms. However, we heard no or very little noise at night. Very impressed. The hotel is literally right off the highway exit. It's stuck right between roads, the highway and other buildings, so it's far from being picturesque in any manner. We had requested a poolside room upon booking and asking for it to be a quiet one, but when I checked in she said they had slotted us a room facing the parking lot (which is surrounded by parking and throughways). I told her we didn't want to face streets and why we booked a pool-facing room. She thought maybe whoever gave us that room thought it would be quieter than one facing the pool (but since the courtyard closed at dusk anyway it was the quieter option). Luckily she found a room like we booked. While the pool closed at dusk, of course people's balconies and patios didn't, so when we say many people bringing up cases of beer and bottles of win (yes, just holding bottles not even in bags), we thought we were in for a loud night. But, as already mentioned, we heard no significant noise (yay, since my daughter and I are light sleepers). If in the area again I would probably try somewhere else, but I'm the type that doesn't repeat places anyway unless no other choice. If hubby had come down and gone in the pool with our daughter, I would have been able to enjoy the hot tub and sauna (but of course that's not the hotel's fault).

Breakfast was the best part of the hotel but even then some of the food was cold and not very good tasting when it's cold. The hotel was clean and the front desk person did do her best to help us get a room as quick as possible as the room we had booked wasn't ready and we needed to get ready for a wedding

The stay was good breakfast was good just have to be very early. We had to wait for a room as they had none ready. Apparently they are pet friendly so allergies beware. Staff was polite and helpful over all not bad

Our soccer team recently stayed at this hotel and the staff accomodated our every need. Amazing customer service. Great experience. Close to everything. Highly recommend especially for sports teams and their families.

My kids said this was the best weekend of their lives! (and they have had a lot of great experiences). The best part was that our room had a walk out to the courtyard where the mini putt and outdoor pool was. The breakfast was great as well.

Overall great spot - location is perfect, just off the QEW so easy access to all the fields and arenas. Costco right across and walking distance. Restaurant onsite and Kelsey's across the street. Outdoor mini-golf trail and pool + indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was excellent - hot ham, eggs, sausages, cereals and oatmeal. Dairy free and gluten free also available (and delicious). Rooms were comfortable - beds amazing. Rooms include fridge and microwave too. Handy for travelling troops and storing fruit and leftovers. Friendly front desk service and clean grounds. Would stay here again if we hit another tournament in Niagara.

I stayed here for just one night but I was impressed by the attention to detail in the room, like a sanitized remote control for the TV. The bed was very comfortable, the bath clean and modern, and there was a restaurant on premises that was serving breakfast. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in returning an item to me that had been left in the room upon my checkout.

This hotel was very clean , the staff was also very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were cleaned and serviced every day . I would definitely recommend it. Don't let the outside of the hotel fool you . It does look a bit like a lousy place but it is very nice inside .

Not a 5 star hotel, but has been mostly renovated, and was clean and comfortable. Indoor and outdoor pool were both nice. Great breakfast and nice area. Close to Niagara but not so touristy. Lots of restaurants nearby. LOVED that my doggies were welcome (you have to call ahead though for dog friendly room). If we're in the area again will definitely be checking out all the nearby wineries.

We spent two days at this hotel and were impressed by the friendly staff, modern interior finish, clean indoor and outdoor pools and comfortable beds. The hotel is close to the highway so you are not far from anything. It was the nicest Best Western I have stayed at.

Came for a rowing clinic at Henley and this hotel was just perfect! Close, clean, restaurant, in-door and out-door pool, sauna, free breakfast, safe! Staff was super helpful when needing anything. Will be back!! Thank you!!

Really enjoyed this hotel! It is a very central location, basically right beside the QEW, nearby Kelseys,Montanas and Costco and is a short (10-12 minute) walk to the LCBO, Zehrs and fast food at the Fairview Mall. The rooms themselves are clean and well maintained, but a little small. Our room had a balcony, however, which made it a little cozier, and the balcony was a nice feature. The hotel is a bit old, but comfortable beds and a decent sized bathroom made for a comfortable stay. Additionally, there is a continental breakfast included and it is quite good. It features eggs, sausage or ham, potatoes, pancakes or french toast, muffins and coffee/juice/etc. Also, the sports bar inside is quite nice and has a surprisingly good selection of food. The service was friendly and the hotel features some great amenities like a gym, pool, sauna and bar. It is also close to restaurants and features easy access to the QEW. I would recommend this place and will stay again if I'm in the area.

This hotel has been a staple in St. Catharines for many decades....but you wouldn't know it! They have maintained it beautifully and are obviously continuing to make upgrades. The lobby area is as welcoming and contemporary as any brand new hotel, and is accented by a very interesting piece of artwork made up of various musical instruments (I'd love to know the story behind the piece!). On the second floor, they were busy completely upgrading about half-a-dozen rooms.....we had one of the "older" rooms but even it was nicely appointed with a VERY comfortable King size bed. The wallpaper was dated, as were the bathroom tiles, but -- honestly -- it was clean and well cared for nevertheless. Of special note was the great HOT complimentary breakfast. SO many hotels these days offer little more than a continental breakfast with some muffins, danishes, and yogurt. This hotel offers breakfast in their restaurant (not just a "breakfast room") and offers omelettes, sausages, homefries, and pancakes, along with all the usual fare (muffins, cereals, etc). Lucinda -- the breakfast host -- greets everyone warmly as they come into the restaurant and goes over the top to be helpful. One SMALL suggestion -- how about china cups for the coffee in the restaurant at breakfast (instead of paper cups)? A small improvement that would make a big difference. :-)

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a night after a stag and doe, the service was amazing everyone was super friendly when greeted and even when leaving made sure we had an amazing stay, the rooms were very clean and well kept and the bed was soooo comfy!!!! Deffiantly will come back!

I must commend Cathy in house keeping. She is very thorough and generates a positive attitude with her staff. Although they are wonderful an exceptional lady in housekeeping would be Pim. The owners are gracious and front desk is not only obliging but very hospitable. Breakfast (continental) is also outstanding. Gerry is head of maintenance and runs a tight ship. Pleasant man and his staff are always hustling to keep the building and operations in fine order. It been a pleasure staying here often and is always consistent. I needed a place to stay after the Byrne and Kelly show at the First Ontario Place in St. Catherine's that was close enough to take a cab to the show and back. I ended up having to have an extra person in one room but it worked out fine.

Room 143. Bathroom really small and for some reason the counter level of the sink is very low. Patio door to indoor courtyard is probably nice in the summer. This past weekend it was too cold to make use of this feature. They have a mini-golf course in the court yard. Found that the linens had a very strong smell of chlorine to the point where the first night sleep was disturbed. The heater temperature seemed misleading. Although it read 63, it felt very hot in the room. Room had a microwave and fridge that was useful. Television was standard digital and lacked HD channels. Breakfast @Wrigley's (included) was ok. Typical egg, protein (ham one day, sausage the next), beans, french toast/pancake.Servers during breakfast were very attentive; looking to clear the plates at any opportunity. Pool was enjoyed by the kids. Sauna, hot tub and decent size pool. Lots of teams staying due to Ontario Basketball Finals. Check-in easy and friendly staff. Staff constantly cleaning around public spaces. Nearby plenty of amenities (Restaurants Kelsey, Montana literally next door). Costco and Fairview Mall within walking distance. Access right off of the highway. Electric charging station available. Saw a Tesla plugged in during our stay.

I was quite impressed and in fact blown away by the level of quality of service I received here staying late March 2018. The staff are wonderful people and the operator (John) is a really nice man who cares a lot about his patrons and guests. The property is clean and there is no smells anywhere, bathrooms are spotless. Incredible breakfast. The list goes one and on. My preferred place to stay when in St. Catharines is now this spot. Hats off and cheers for a well managed and run facility John!

I asked for the early check in due to my early arrival from Vancouver via overnight flight and I was surprised that it was not only possible to check in by 12pm but I was able to get my room by 10am. It was a great Birthday gift from the Best Western Front Desk team! And moreover it was possible to get a bit later check out too. Breakfast was good everyday. I truly enjoyed staying in this Hotel and I will highly recommend it for everyone.

Stayed for a few days with family to visit niagara. Be cautious left and my leg was all bite from bed bugs. The hotel itself has a nice pool and restaurant for breakfast but the rooms are very small as well as the bathroom.

This is a good quality,comfortable htel. Nothing exceptional, but nothing serious to complain about. Comfortable, clean rooms. Minor issue with heating/air conditioning unit continuously cycling on/off, but it appears that new units are being installed . Otherwise service, facilities and accommodations are very good.

The rooms were clean and the beds weren't too bad. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast included in stay which varied with potatoes, omelette, sausage, yogurt, juice, milk, cereal, toast, etc.. There was a indoor pool as well. This is a great central location, so close to malls, Dairy Queen, Costco, Walmart, etc. A lot of these shopping places were within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place, the price was reasonable. Didn't stay on March break, so it was nice and quiet. Near QEW and close to Niagara Falls.

Better half and I stayed here for a weekend conference. Reservations and check in were a breeze. Room was clean and decently appointed for the price point. Plenty of nearby amenities including several chain restaurants and a Costco right next door. The room cost included a breakfast buffet that was of decent quality, even if sausages were the only choice for meat and no bacon. The buffet was well stocked and served the purpose. We opted to try out the on site restaurant and, despite many hotel restaurants reputation, was actually pretty good. I went with the standard club house, which had good sized chucks of real chicken and tasty fries. The missus was served a good helping of a chicken Caesar salad that she could not finish off. The rooms did show a little age around the edges on our patio but overall, given the price point and convenience I would definitely return to this hotel..

Bad timing March Break at this location. Hotel and pool area over run with children. Very poor sleep quality beds and bedding were uncomfortable. Breakfast buffet and room service food poor quality. I don't think I will ever stay at this hotel again.

Very good hotel and good price. The room is clean and quite. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is very convenient for shopping around. close to Niagara fall. If I have to come I will stay this hotel again.

My bestie and i have stayed here on 3 plus occasions for girls night getaway for our birthdays. We have stayed in the winter and summer. The indoor pool is always nice and warm and such a warm relaxing environment. HOt tub is great. the outdoor pool is fantastic for day time chilling and swimming :) we will definitely return. Wraps from the restaurant on site were good as well as salad. Breakfast is average continental brekafast. Front desk staff and pool staff are fantastic. Rooms have outdoor space or balcony always a bonus as this is hard to find in hotels these days.

The pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna are top notch. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Each room comes with a balcony or patio. The breakfast is delicious and dining facility provides a friendly environment. You couldn't ask for better staff; they were happy, courteous, easy to work with, and attentive. This location is right off the highway, and near many restaurants.

This is an excellent hotel. The staff really take the time to go above and beyond to make my family feel at home every time we visit. We will certainly choose this hotel to stay the next time we are in town.

Nice hotel and breakfast! Clean rooms. The hotel staff was welcoming! Wanted to try the hotel restaurant for dinner (Wrigley's) but after waiting over 25 minutes to get order taken we left and went to Kelsey's.

Not much to say about the Best Western St. Catharines, it is alike to other Best Western hotels and no complaints! The hot breakfast is plentiful and great, rooms are clean! The staff is very pleasant here as well.

It's a family tradition to spend new years at this place and it's like an extension from home for us, the rooms are clean, great swimming pool and the service is always great, breakfast could use some improving, but overall is very reliable!

Not perfect but staff do try very hard to address any problems that arise. Room was comfortable except for the heating/cooling being difficult to regulate. Friendly and attentive staff, nutritious and tasty breakfast. Would probably stay here again.

The Best Western is well located in St. Catharines close to malls and restaurants. From here, one can travel easily to local wineries and other attractions in the Niagara. The restaurant and lounge are great. The fitness centre is spacious and well-equipped and the two pools (indoor for winter) and outdoor (summer) are super.

Great amenities for families with children - something for everyone. There's mini putt golf in the warm weather and indoor and outdoor pool with a hot tub and sauna. Gym is well equipped. Nice to have an on site Bar and grill but is also handy to highway, shopping and a variety of restaurants. Excellent value for the money and friendly staff. Room is clean but could use some updating. Beds are comfy and quiet.

I thought because the price was low the quality wouldn't be the greatest - but I was wrong and it's a really great motel. Even my teenage daughters reLly liked the facility and breakfast! The gym was very large and clean as well!

Everything was very fine in this hotel. It is an older property, but well maintained and updated. Very fine hot tub and fitness center and pool. Really good full breakfast with pottery plates and silverware and eggs and ham or bacon and many other good choices - slight variation from day to day in the choices. The main attraction was the friendliness of the staff.

Stayed for two nights for training. Room was functional and not out of the ordinary in any way. Everything worked, including the shower and wifi, which is a bonus. The staff were really lovely. Front desk were helpful when I had forgotten to pack properly! Breakfast staff were charming and helpful, really seemed genuinely nice. Tried to predict my needs in the fashion of a much more ‘starred' hotel. Oh and it was quiet!

My friend and I enjoyed our 2 night stay over Black Friday Weekend ..Hotel is centrally located to almost everything .. A little noisy as it is literally right beside the QEW but not too bad once you're in the room. The room and hotel were clean. Utilized the pool and hot tub on both nights. Breakfast each morning was good but typical of a hotel restaurant. We ate dinner in Wrigley's our second night and it was good but the service was a little lacking. My friend had a bug in her Singapore Sling which was promptly taken back and we were given a new one. Overall pretty good stay and would stay again.

I have stayed at this location many times for business, and it offers a clean, and comfortable environment.. The employees, and owner are are great in tending to your needs.Great location and the restaurant makes good food

We had no issues and liked this hotel. Its close to wineries and restaurants. We wanted to be between Toronto and Niagara Falls. We actually never made it to the falls. But we were close to the QEW, which is a plus.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to St. Catherine's. It is easy access to the QEW. The beds are extremely comfortable and the service is over the top. The breakfast was excellent and they even asked if you would like to take extra for later.

The hotel was very clean. Quiet at night with comfortable beds. It is an excellent location for those wanting to participate in wine tours. Breakfast was included, it was abundant and tasty. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff and I was made to feel right at home. The food was great and the drinks were reasonably priced. The room was exceptionally clean . The location in my circumstance was perfect as it was centrally located.

Hotel was exactly what we expected. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. Great location as there is a Costco right next door. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is a little dated but that was made up for by excellent staff.

There was a group of eight of us that stayed here. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was just enough, and we were able to use the hot tub, too! The only problem was a sliding door that needed fixed

This hotel was in a good location to access St. Catharines/Niagara area. The rooms, although older, were comfortable and roomy. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a hot breakfast buffet with the room - the breakfast was fine. The streets around the hotel are very busy and it is a bit difficult to get out of the hotel and onto the roads, but it is very close to the QEW, so easy to get to.

booked 3 rooms for two nights. One room had a strong perfume smell. Should have been aired out before renting room. Staff accused me of giving them a gift card not valid on the day of departure. They had gift card two days prior and didn't let me know. After some embarrassment they admitted they made a mistake.

Travelling with a little one, we specifically chose this hotel as it was pet friendly and had pool. We could not access the pool for one full hour, due to an aerobics class. During my wait, there were 8 other guests waiting to use pool. We finally had a 10 min swim as it was getting late - 7pm Back in the room, we wanted to turn heat on as we were cool from the pool and the odour coming through the unit was HORRIFIC!! Staff offered new room, but it was late and we had a lot unpacked. We also declined restaurant coupon as we were not planning to eat out. Manager finally (after 2 hours) came to our room - I found a little intrusive - to tell us she had "worked her magic" and was going to give us a discount, which they did. However, I found it sad that it took hours to offer us this, only after we threatened to write a horrible review. there were also no numbers on any of the rooms outside, which made it hard to guess where to park.

This is the second time we stayed there and enjoyed both times. This time around we were upgraded without asking. The staff at check in and check out were very hospitable. They have a very well equipped gym. I loved the fact I could get a proper workout in not like most hotel gyms. The pool and spa were great as well. The buffet breakfast was a standard breakfast. The staff made sure everything was being replenished in a timely manner. They have renovated and brought things up to date so it is much fresher looking now. I will stay there again.

An excellent choice if you want to explore the Niagara Wine région . Nice hotel and well located. Comfortable room and also with indoor/outdoor pools. Buffet breakfast is included but watch out if there are any sports teams staying in the hotel as they usually all come at once and the buffet line fills up!

I phoned earlier in the week requesting an early check-in. Rachael was so pleasant on the phone and added the request and suggested I phone on Sat. morning to see if there was availability for early check-in. I phoned on Sat. and Rachael again answered and even remembered talking to me. Right away she told me I could arrive early and she would make sure the room assigned would be available. Great customer service Rachael, keep up the good work. Elizabeth did a great job of checking me in and letting me know how to find my room, where to park, where the pool was and where breakfast would be served. Thank you. The room was spacious and clean. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. What more can you ask for. I stay there at least once a month and always happy with the accommodation and treatment of the staff. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the St. Catharines area.

Room rates were reasonable, hotel was fine. Close to restaurants, did not try hotel restaurant sine there was no real craft beer available. Unfortunately I missed breakfast due to a meeting but it looked good. Coffee was ok, could be a bit stronger. Other than that no complaints.

I stayed at the Best Western St Catharines on Oct 7, 2017 It was for my brother's wedding Upon arrival it was a bit confusing where the front entrance was but was a good hotel. I booked through tripadvisor which was a first for me and got a great rate for one night! It was actually cheaper than the best western group rate for staying with a large wedding group. This was my first time in a best western We were in rm 157 Nice room, AC worked great, first floor glass sliding door walk out to a small patio room was very clean, had a bit of a smell due to the humidity lately, AC helped right away Bathroom was big, two sinks that was awesome! didn't get to shower but everything was clean, lots of towels, big tub Bed was very comfy and clean, had two queen beds perfect for my best friend and i room has fridge, microwave, iron and board, hair dryer Down sides; the only closet near the bathroom was a bit small, closet inside was fine but the slider doors don't open to give you much room to squeeze and hang things up plus when entering the room it enters into a small hall way and if you open the door too fast you slam the wall. But overall its what id expect from a hotel nothing fancy but very comfortable I only stayed one night but it would be comfortable for a 4 nights stay i think Lots around, there is a timmies, a montanas, grocery store etc There is an indoor pool which i never got to use and an outdoor pool that was closed for the season as well as a very small mini putt area Breakfast is included which is nice, nothing fancy just standard eggs toast cereal muffins coffee tea juice from 7am til 10am check out is 11am Breakfast is served in the bar which is the restaurant we did get food from the bar around 11pm deep fried pickles and a hot pretzel, decent late night snack, bit over priced for appetizers but whatever had our pop bottles get stuck in the machine but the front staff guy fixed it to get them for us Friendly front staff, easy check in and check out pretty quiet for being near highway the one girl told us the easiest way to get through the hallways to our room, it was actually the more confusing way haha but all in all good hotel experience i would stay here again

The hotel is in need of a renovation, The rooms are showing their age with rest on inside bottom of bath door and a poorly fitted 12"x12" panel over the toilet below the towel rack. Individual soap and shampoo would be an improvement to wall mounts. The desk staff were most helpful and an onsite restaurant is a plus with breakfast a highlight. Pillows were great.

Very welcoming, comfortable and clean hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and would definitely stay here again. Good location near the highway and close to restaurants and shopping. Room was spotless and it was nice to be able to walk out onto our own balcony.

Clean and relaxing . From the friendly greeting to nicely appointed room, it made for a great overnite stay while in Niagara area. Wrigley restaurant and sports bar served up good eats. Try their burgers...! Breakfast is included. Will be back again.

I arrived about 3:30 in the afternoon for a family wedding the next day. The room was ready. The check in process was easy and performed by a helpful, polite and professional person. The room was easy to find. The staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I asked a maid how to get to the pool, she took me to the pool, I was very surprised and pleased. The free buffet breakfast was hot and good. I had a club sandwich for lunch on Friday, again hot and good. No problems no complaints for the two nights I stayed. Would not think twice about staying there again.

We stayed at the Best Western St. Catharine's on a recent trip to wine country. It was close enough without having to pay too much for our stay. During this visit parking and breakfast was included. The location is close to restaurants, a mall and Costco.

This was an incredibly friendly comfortable place to stay for our single night stay in St. Catharines, ON. Room was clean and comfortable. Internet was faster than expected for a chain hotel. Everyone was so friendly, we'll stop here again. I was impressed by how well the staff handled both private guests (like my family) and tour buses. Even though the hotel hosted at least 2 tour buses while we were there, the bus people did not impact our stay at all. The internet was not taxed by the large crowd, nor was the breakfast service affected the bus people. All the breakfast items were hot and never out of stock. Management employees continuously circulated to make sure all guests were well-served.

Been here numerous times. Service and location is very convenient. I love the executive side of hotel. The upper inner rooms have balconies. Can walk down to breakfast at hotel. Hotel is next to QEW Highway, Costco, Fairview Mall, and all local businesses and restaurants.

This hotel has a central green space that has a outdoor pool and mini-putt. There are balconies overlooking this area. It was great to have the mini-putt activity in a confined space to keep the kids busy. It was great to be able to easily access this area from the rooms (first floor) or supervise from the balcony.

This Best Western was very busy with at least 4 wedding parties staying, the night we were booked. We were with one of the wedding parties, so we were there, literally, ONLY to sleep. We did not take advantage of the continental breakfast, and left at check out. The hotel was quiet, in spite of the energetic groups and the rooms comfortable. The beds were fine, as with the cleanliness of the room as a whole. My only real complaint, is the tap water! It is HORRIBLE. It literally tastes like ground water....this is probably a City of St. Catharine's issue, not a hotel issue I'm guessing. Had I known how bad it was, I would have ensured I had plenty of bottled water on hand, but by the time we were back from the wedding reception and ready for bed, it was too late to venture out for bottled water. Other than that, everything was okay. There was one bathrobe provided....but not two....Our room overlooked the pool and mini-putt, so there was no sleeping-in once children were out playing and yelling under our hotel window (9 am) ...that was disappointing....if you are planning a quiet morning, make sure you ask for a room away from that space....There is no WOW factor, but we weren't looking for that anyway. Check in and check out was easy and fairly quick given how busy they were. The location of the hotel is ideal....very close to the QEW. Would I recommend this hotel? Sure. If it was for an overnight only situation. Noise from the highway would interfere with any enjoyment of the pool or mini-putt, however the pool area DID look appealing with lovely lounges etc. It was just too cold to enjoy the weekend we were there.

We stayed at this facility for a wedding recently. Well located in St Catharines with easy access to major highways. Numerous retail facilities located nearby. An older hotel which has been somewhat renovated over the past few years. Rooms were ok - reasonably spacious and the beds were comfortable. Cleanliness was average at best. However, the complimentary breakfast was very good with a good choice of cold and hot items. We thought that the room rate was somewhat high for the overall quality of accommodation.

Was disappointed with this hotel. We had a number of issues during check in: 1) no one was at the front desk that knew how to use the system to check us in so my family had to wait for 10-15 minutes for someone to show up 2) The larger room we booked did not have a balcony (front desk staff said there was) so we had to move to a new room 3) the closet door was broken in the new room so we had to get that repaired 4) later I found the patio door handle was loose so I got some tools and fixed it myself.

Had to find a hotel quickly due to construction in our condo. Compared rates etc online and decided to stay at Best Western. Very good decision. Very clean room, hotel staff nice and efficient, hot breakfast very good. Bed so comfortable.

They will help in any way they can -- seems they just want to treat the customer as if they are family. Also take customer service to the next level as if the hotel was their own home ensuring each person feels important.

I would not hesitate to stay here again ... although close to home it offers everything you want for a short stay!!! The Breakfast had to be one of the best we have ever had! Would not hesitate to stay here again would recommend it to anyone wanting to spend time in Niagara on the Lake - so close by - or even in Niagara Falls. Great in between place to stay.

Rooms looking tired and bathrooms small and musty. Nice to have microwave and fridge facility. But very expensive for what you get. Elevator very slow and looks old. Gym was well equipped but the rowing machines not working when I tried to use them but seemed to work the next day.

Picked St. Catherine's in hopes of getting away from downtown Niagara. The Best Western is adjacent to the highway so no views but fairly quiet. Works for families 2 pools, in and out and miniatures golf that kids enjoyed. Actually the nice part about staying here were our 2 drives to close Delhouise port sunset beach on Lake Ontario, great spot good local restaurants and beautiful restored carousel. Would I stay again, not sure hotel was clean and accomodating, includes breakfast.

Nadine at the front desk was great. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable. Close to restaurants not far from the falls. Some noise when people shut doors in other rooms a small annoyance. The breakfast was good not special. Hotel is pet friendly with additional charge. I would definitly stay here again.

Similar to other hotels of its type but had a nice outdoor pool/courtyard. Everything went well with no problems or glitches. There are several restaurants and "big box" type stores across a small road near the hotel. There was a small fridge in the room. The comp breakfast was a typical "hot" type with offerings of eggs, toast, potatoes, sausage and pancakes in addition to cold cereals and yogurt.

I loved the location off the QEW. It was close to restaurants and other amenities. It was a 15 minute drive to the falls and a 10 minute drive to the Outlet Mall. I will definitely stay here again, the price was right and the hotel was nice an clean.

While the room was well laid out and comfortable, the air-conditioning unit made a lot of noise. It should be repaired for future guests. I would recommend the coffee units in the rooms be upgraded in order to brew more than a single cup.

Stayed for an overnight visit when in the area for a wedding. Rooms were nice. Bed seemed clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff were very pleasant. Close to amenities, bars and restaurants. Located close to highway.

We were caught by surprise finding a facilities charge of $20 per night (plus tax) to cover the fitness facilities and parking. This fee was not disclosed when booking or on check-in. The hotel underwent renovation in 2011 but still needs some work. There was no phone in the room so we had to call (long distance) on our cell phone to reach hotel staff.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and really enjoy it. The rooms are clean, beds comfy and the breakfast is better than anywhere else in the area. The pool is very inviting. We will definately stay here again.

Very comfortable hotel, although the breakfast is rather limited. Conveniently located although if you want to go downtown best to get a taxi. Staff on check in desk were very helpful with directions and other information.

Asked for early noon check in. Got there and there were 2 cars in the parking lot. Told it would be another hour. Asked if they would call when available. No call. Came back at 2pm and now they had a room. No call! An hour after asking for help to get the Internet working, someone showed up. He could not get it working either. Asked for another room. Told the motel is fully booked. 15 to 20 cars in the parking lot! Front entrance, in the lobby was filthy. Just not a good experience.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and enjoyed our stay. We found the hotel very clean and the staff very pleasant. The staff served a hot breakfast to over 150 guests in a very short and orderly fashion.

We were very unhappy with best western st catharines. There were needles in the stairwell and outside on the property. There was a person begging other guests for money. The female staff on duty was drinking.

Hotel stay was good, beds were very comfortable. Great gym with lots of equipment. Beautiful new lobby. Next to some restaurants and some shopping, just off the QEW. Nice place for a family because of the outdoor pool.

rooms were a good size, Bathroom was a little dated and due for renovation. Breakfast was very good and I liked that it was in their restaurant, and not the usual breakfast area. The courtyard had a nice outdoor pool and mini-putt area. There was also a large indoor pool area. a few downsides - they allow dogs and there was a barking dog a few doors down. It barked late at night and early in the morning. The door did not seem to block out much noise as I could also clearly hear everyone that was in the hallway. Also, housekeeping knocked on my door 3 times in the morning (twice while I was still in bed) and actually tried to enter my room one of those times. Not sure why they didn't realize I hadn't checked out yet, but it was annoying. I let the front desk know and they were very nice about it. this hotel is pretty expensive for a best western, but it's close to Niagara Falls and that's probably why.

A quieter option to Niagara Falls. lots to do in the area. Enjoyed the pools quite a bit and the staff inside ensured the children didn't get out of control,which I appreciated. The food was typical roadhouse but good. The drinks tasted great and went down easy.

We checked in to a room that backs onto the carpark; handy for unloading. We needed a room for handicap people and the staff quickly found one after our first night. Thanks! The rooms were clean and spacious. We stayed for 4 nights and found that it suited our needs. Good value for money!

I am usually very diligent when it comes to reviewing hotels on tripadvisor. This hotel was however forced on us for a wedding. I ONLY gave it 2 stars because the beds were comfortable. The shower and toilet were both clogged and even after broaching this with the front desk it was NOT rectified in over 2 days. Very run down hotel with a not so desirable location and breakfast.

My family and I have been staying in Best Westerns across th country. We are military moving from Edmonton to NB. This hotel was the worst. It smelled so musty all our belongings now stink, the wifi was unusable and our bedding wasn't changed once. We stayed there for 4 nights.

I compared the price with other hotels and thought I was going to have to sacrifice quality and amenities but was surprised with both after our stay. It has an excellent indoor pool and fitness center with a full locker room, sauna, and hot tub. The breakfast was more than just a continental breakfast having eggs, ham, potatoes, and pancakes.

The facilities overall were good. The elevator needs work because my family was stuck in it for a short time before we checked out. Given how much was saved by staying outside the Niagara Falls downtown area, it was nice but the bathroom was very small given the room size is spacious.

As part of the wedding party, we were advised that rooms will be ready at 2pm. We arrived before that time and we were told that the room will be ready by 3:30 and we said that the only shuttle to the venue will pick us up at the hotel at 3:30, Reception said the best they can do is at 3pm to come back 3pm. Came back at 2:50, Reception stated that the rooms will not be ready at 4pm and that they can give us the back room for our bags and we can get change in the bathroom, at this time I already advised the Reception at the beginning that I have two dogs (and by the way at 11am when I called I reminded the reception that I have the dogs and I was informed that I have to take the dogs to the reception, I said excuse me, and the reception with a tone in her voice, she said "Well we are not a Kennel you know". So I said, when I booked months ago, I was informed that if we get complains from other hotel guests about the dogs, we will have to call you and you will have to either take your dogs to the wedding venue or stay with your dogs in the hotel room, which I thought was fair, so I told this to the reception and she said, "Oh okay"). So I think Best Western need to educated all their employees about policies and procedures). Anyways, after stating that 4 is not good for us and that we have to have our room by 3pm as the shuttle will pick us up by 3:30, then they put a rush to the room. We didn't get our room till 3:10pm. So we rushed to get ready, the bus was just ready to leave, lucky we got there on time. The dogs were never an issue, I didn't get a call. The next morning, we were ready by 10:20 so we can go for continental breakfast, guest WHAT, it was over. I would suggest if the check out time is at 11, please keep continental breakfast till 11am, my son was there before 8:30, and he said that most of the food tray was empty. If you know you're fully booked for wedding party, please over staffed to accommodate room service is cleaned, if you stated to the bride and groom that all guest rooms will be ready by 2pm, then it should be ready by 2pm, make sure you have enough staff to accomdate that promise. Instead, check out time is 11am, and you're telling some guest that their room will not be ready till 4pm when the wedding is a 4pm and you have a sign at the front desk that shuttle bus to the wedding is at 3:30???? Doesn't make sense!! The worst part is, the mother of the bride doesn't even have a room, she got dress in the bathroom, how shameful is that? Her room also will not be ready till 3pm? The same for some groomsmen, so they got dress at the bridesmaid room, and checked in instead after the party otherwise they will miss the photo shoot with the bride/groom. So no, I don't think I can stay at this hotel again. Very disorganized! First impression, is a lasting impression, not only for me, but for others as well.

We chose this hotel due to its location right by the QEW as we were passing through but it is really close to Niagara Falls if you are ever considering staying close (10-15 minutes to get to the Falls?) but don't want to pay for a hotel right by the Falls. It isn't fancy or anything but provides a nice clean place to stay at a decent rate. It isn't updated but doesn't look too worn. The beds and linens were comfortable(and bright white!) and they provided nice puffy pillows! There was an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna but also a pool outside and putt putt golf so great for kids. The bathroom was small but clean. In the morning there was free breakfast in the hotel restaurant which was really good. Hot, fluffy scrambled eggs, sausages, fried potatoes and pancakes - all well made and very good. There was also the usual fare of toast, cereal, juice, etc. The Wifi was free and we didn't have any problem with it.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel and were very pleased with the rooms and amenities. The fitness rooms were over the top and the pools were great too. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in the St. Catherine's area.

The room was dirty, floor was damp and found Bed Bugs. No hot water when we checked in. We called the front desk, they said they are looking, but it was not fixed that night. After midnight, a huge 4 inch crawling worm showed up in the bathroom. My son freaked out and couldn't sleep all night. Had to call front desk to kill and remove it. I was ready to get rid of the hotel next morning. Fortunately the manger found a room upstairs which was a little better than this one. But I paid over $300 Canadian dollars for the night. What I got is totally unacceptable. Will never stay again.

I thought for 200$ a night with Best wedtern the quality would be better. Shame Our friends stayed at Holiday Inn nearby 150$ a night and the rooms were gorgeous. What a disapointment. Room smelled like a wet mop and one night till the morning was no hot water. Very very very subpar

The security lock on the door was broken, the lock on the sliding door didn't work, the plug in the bathroom sink was broken. Included breakfast need some improvement. The same food is constantly served. Fried ham is tasteless & sausage or bacon would be a better option. Usually I sleep very well but this time there was yelling in the hall & parking lot well up to 3:00a.m. I think there was a wedding reception.

You never know what to expect when booking a hotel online, but this one was one of the pleasant surprises. It's an older hotel, but the room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and even included a balcony on the 2nd floor (a walkout on the 1st). There are big indoor and an outdoor pools, a very hot hot tub, and even a sauna (which is of the dry type and wasn't very hot, unfortunately). There's a weight room, a cardio room, and even a room with spinning bikes set up. The pool area even has an attendant on duty. But a warning: the pool is used by non-guests as a fitness club during the day. My kids wanted to swim in the morning before we left, but the pool was fully occupied by an hour-long water jazzercise class. The inner courtyard also has miniature golf set up, though it's fairly run down. There's an on-site restaurant and bar, which hosted the better than average continental breakfast in the morning, comprising the usual assortment of hot and cold dishes. The staff was courteous and helpful, directing us to the restaurant when there was no instant hot chocolate packets in the room. The location is both convenient, being right next next to the QEW, bit also awkward, being close to a very busy intersection, meaning getting back out in the morning may prove difficult. All in all this was a great hotel for the economical price paid. If we visit Niagara Falls next year, this hotel will be my first choice of accommodation.

We stayed at this hotel on a Saturday night. The room was beautifully furnished with a patio that looked out over the pool. My wife came out of the bathroom and said the floor is heated. The bed and all other furniture were matched dark wood and very nice. There is a restaurant in the hotel which provides a free breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was clean and comfy!

The hotel was great just had issues with not being wheelchair accessible for the Executive Suites or second floor. The room was clean and plenty of space. Very small bathroom. Air conditioner worked beautifully only took a few hours to cool the room down. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was good. Bed was very comfortable.

The staff here are friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. I have stayed here several times and it is always the same - excellent! Great location, close to everything in the Niagara area. I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed here for a lacrosse tournament with the team. The hotel was perfect for large groups. Unfortunately the outdoor pool was not open which was inconvenient and a big bummer. The kids were able to play mini-putt and swim at the indoor pool though. The courtyard is a great area for large groups. My room was mediocre at best. Good enough to serve its purpose. Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Definitely would recommend for a large group travelling together. Wouldn't stay here for a leisure stay as a couple, for example.

Really enjoyed our stay! Easy access to 401, 15 minutes to Niagara and close to Factory Outlet Malls. Great Breakfast, Staff was friendly and management believes in excellence. We will definitely visit again

Upon check in, the girl at the front desk, Elizabeth, was very rude. It was 10 o'clock and we were checking in. She told me my room was in the basement and I made a comment "how creepy." Totally messing around. By the way, basement means 1st floor. Then before continuing, she said, "are you done." I work for Marriott, and I would never say that to someone. That is rude and distasteful. The head boards were dusty and the sliding door didn't work very well.

Best western is a budget and family friendly hotel. An improvement in the breakfast options would be great. The amenities are standard. The beds are comfortable and access to local transport is seamless. Shuttle services are quite good.

We stayed here only one night, but it was amazing! Their pool is great, the staff is welcoming and professional and the room was really comfortable! It wasn't too expensive and we slept like babies; these are the most important things.

The Shower was gross/they 'recleaned' it but job was not 100% better. Beds were VERY uncomfortable. no-one got a good nights sleep even after the third night. We had to be up and out Early and Breakfast didn't start until 7 on Sunday...very inconvenient and was not told to us at checkout. Eggs were cold, sausage was good, but greasy. but Breakfast was adequate. Pool was on the small side, but kids enjoyed it

Booked a king with a sofabed, got a double queen room. Was told it was my mistake and I never booked that room, pulled up my email and yes i booked a king with a sofa bed only to be told those rooms dont exist. room temp was impossible to gauge as the sliding doors let in a lot of cold, yet the other side of the room was hot, this is hard I know as you lose a lot of heat through doors. vanity was very low, poorly patched hole in the bathroom wall. 1 of 3 lamps worked in the room. floors were very hard. furniture was chipped on all edges due to people popping beers off them. I was told the best way to unload my car was to bring everything from the front lobby to room 143. clearly not the best route as there was a side door. it was nice to have the crib already in the room when we arrived and the fridge worked great. breakfast was nothing special but the hostess was very friendly. its still nice to have a breakfast though complimentary but the quality could have been better than frozen foods heated up.

We arrived at hotel and were checked in by a very nice gentleman at front desk. We had a room with a king bed, fridge, microwave and flatscreen TV. Bed comfortable and room was very clean. Room rate included full breakfast ( starting at 7am) , wifi and an indoor pool. Close to QEW, restaurants and shopping.

We hardly slept one of the nights we were in this hotel because of noise in the middle of the night from the room beside us. We did not feel that the staff enforced the other guests to be quiet. Many hotels have a niose policy that they enforce, this hotel did not . Cleanliness in this hotel is questionable and it smells. Staff were pleasant enough but their lack of enforcing a noise policy was very disappointing . They should have insisted that the " noise makers " move rooms or leave the hotel . We were made to feel that we had no recourse but to leave. Would not ever stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it !! The only thing going for this hotel is their breakfast, which is probably why they get guests.

Had a comfortable stay without any issues or problems with the room, staff and facilities. The fitness centre could use some improvements as there were only stationary bikes available. A few more exercise options would be helpful.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful. I had too elderly ladies walking with canes with me. They found it hard to navigate through the hallway to our room with all the kids running around. We also found the rooms could have been more soundproof. Bathroom had no exhaust fan.

This hotel was very accommodating to our needs, extra linens, cots etc. Asked for an adjoining room for our your child and Nanny and staff were able to supply. Also asked for an early check in because coming form out of town for an early wedding and were glad to get room ready for us and second room cleaned promptly for our use. Good experience. Great wedding.

We stayed for a competition arrived on the Friday. Was able to get an early check in which was great. Didn't realize there was a hockey tournament going on so the hotel was filled with little boys. We had to jump over the parents who were bringing the furniture in the hallway with all of our luggage.

Hotel had a great location and very clean. Breakfast didn't have the usual waffle maker most BW buffets but there was plenty of food. Had dinner in the restaurant wings were terrible and greasy. Other appetizers were great. Noise was Out of control kids running in the halls . I called down at 10:30 to complain and was asked to be patient until 11:00 pm when they actually patrol the halls.

Arrived at 8:30pm to check in there was a group renting a party space and I assume a block of hotel rooms. Kids were still running and screaming in the halls at 12:30am. Definitely not impressed. Will not be returning to this hotel. Room was dated bathroom not completely clean. I can stay at home for free and not deal with the noise and crap we put up with there.

Stayed for 3 nights at the Best Western. friendly staff. Ample parking and convenient access to all parts of the hotel. Large pool and hot tub. Recreation area is good. Also has great restaurant attached to the hotel. Wide variety of food from steak, burgers to great appetizers. This is also where morning complimentary breakfast is held. Rooms were clean, smelled good and the overall service was good.

Checked in on Nov 4th Checked out on Nov 6th. Stayed on the 2nd floor. Walked in my room went to unpack , noticed the closet sliding door was off it's track and was not working so I called down to the front desk and said they would have someone fix it. Later , I noticed later that my door to the room was not locking as I exited. I called down because my room door lock was not working properly. When I exited the door would NOT close behind me I had to insert my card and then pull the door closed from outside. I had someone come up and look at it ,he said sorry it was the old lock but never fixed it. On Saturday morning I called down for towels which were brought up quickly. Thank You. I left the hotel at 10:00 am with NO signs up that said DO NOT DISTURB so that my room would get cleaned and beds made. I came back at 3 pm , beds were still a mess all 3 garbages were still full and dirty towels were on the floor in the bathroom. I called the front to ask why they said someone will come up , I said I am leaving in 30 minutes , the front desk said I do not need to be there. I came back at 8 pm to a door that was left open. I had both keys so my young daughter who was with me could NOT have entered. The beds were still unmade and 1 of the garbages was still over - flowing and the dirty towels were still in the bathroom. I called to ask why my door was left open ??? Answer was I don't know. I told them a garbage needed to be emptied and threw the dirty towels in the hall , was I upset ? YES !!!! a A male came up to empty the garbage and bring fresh towels , I questioned him about the door being left open. He said it was him that emptied the garbage and walked out , he said he didn't realize the door lock was not working properly , the same door and lock which I had called the previous day about. I have never complained about a hotel prior to this but have to about my stay. My closet door was broken and was still broken and off it's tracks when I left. Beds were never made , garbages I had to call more than once to have emptied. The door's problems will now be someone else's . I just feel for $ 119 per night + taxes a little better service was and should be given to it's customers. Oh ya DO NOT order the chicken wings in the restaurant. I think they are heated up in a microwave. Also my friend said the Beef Dip was also very poor. Order a Pizza !!!! I have stayed at BW many times and have never had a problem. Maybe it was a full moon. Very unsatisfied this time.

We stayed here for a family wedding. The gotel itself was huge! It was a courtyard with a pool and minigolf. Rooms were nothing special but werr clean and had everything we needed. The breakfsst was amazing and all you can eat which is always good. There werr separate entrances which made it easier to get to your room since the hotel was so large. Over all great stay and exceeded my expectations!!

We stayed overnight to visit a friend in the area and had an excellent stay. From the staff to the facilities and the great selection at the hot breakfast we enjoyed everything. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

The place is about a 15 mind drive to Niagara. The rooms were large with a refrigerator and coffee maker. The beds were comfortable. However the rooms do not have a view. The restaurant is decent and open till midnight. Room service is also available .

Good hotel, very good breakfast. Try to stay off of floor sport teams are on...Great location to get to falls, canal, shopping and places to eat. though close to highway, that noise was not a problem.

The hotel itself is tired and the rooms were run down. The linens were very clean and the staff was very friendly. The room was quiet with no traffic noise. We stayed there because dogs were allowed and there was a convenient area to walk our dog.

We stayed at the Best Western for a family wedding held nearby and were very pleased it was located so close to the highway. It was easy to locate and close to many stores and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable and we liked that the hotel was only two levels. The breakfast had a nice variety and the staff were very friendly.

Great value! Friendly staff. Hot tub and steam room were not operational on first night. Breakfast was very good and room was everything we expected. Location is convenient along the highway, but not very inspiring for the same reason. Hotel is only two levels, so that's a difference too - no view per se.

This hotel is located right off the highway, only 15 minutes from Niagara Falls and Brock U. The Sports Bar restaurant is a great choice although other restaurants/bars are also within walking. Costco and Walmart are also within walking distance. Our room had a large clean fridge and microwave. Two pools! A great option for a mini staycation.

We found the location easy to access and on routes to sites we wanted to visit. Very clean, and a good place to rest. Breakfast was nicely presented, a good variety which was nice and hot and easy to choose. There was plenty of room to sit and enjoy your breakfast.Staff were very helpful and made our stay easy and enjoyable.

Hotel has become a hotel for sports teams. Kids playing hockey in the halls at night. Folks partying in the halls drinking beer. Manager "Lela" was great in moving me to another room but told me that they can't do much as the teams contracs with the hotel only mandates quiet after 11:00 pm. If that's your idea of a great time, fabulous. Otherwise GO ELSEWHERE. Restaurant remains OK. Breakfasts good.

I arrived before all the members of my family I was coming from Erie Pa and they were from Montreal. I went to the front desk to pick up my key they asked me the reservation number they asked for my ID, got my key everyone were very pleasant. When the rest of us showed up they did the same thing. I got a courtesy call to let me know they had arrived. The breakfast was fine our table was clean as we were done with our plates. At the gym we were welcomed and shown where everything was. The only little complaint I have is, we were 4 in our room so with only 3 towels. We made a point to ask for 4 of each to the cleaning lady that day we did get our request but not the following days and to ask everyday is a pain.

We knew when booking this hotel, that it was an older property. Upon arrival, we found our room a bit dated - but clean and functional. We were put in a room in the executive wing which had a controlled key access. That area is very quiet - no problems with any noise at all. The shining glory of this hotel is the staff. From check in to check out - every staff member we encountered was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was much better than many other hotels we have stayed at. The staff there were constantly refilling items and keeping tables clean and cleared. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. We are not sun seekers so we enjoyed the indoor pool which was heated to 85 degrees and clean. The location of this hotel is right off the QEW and very close to shopping ( Costco right across the street) and restaurants - Kelseys, Perkins and Montana's are walkable. Overall, our experience was very enjoyable and a good value.

After getting off the Go Niagara Express train, its only a 4 km bike ride to this hotel. The next day we rode to Fort Erie 70 km and then 100 km back to St Catharines the next day. Staying at hotel like this one, guarentees a good nights sleep so you can tour along a picturesque canal all day enjoying car free routes.

We stayed here for a wedding at a nearby winery. After a very complicated check-in we found our room, which was run-down and depressing at best. This 2 story hotel surrounds a courtyard with a small pool and a mini-golf course, has a gym and a restaurant on site. We used none of it. The hotel's proximity to the highway is its best feature. Use this hotel as a last option. And don't flush the toilet if someone is using the shower.

I have stated at this hotel many times over the years even before it became a Best Western. I have always found it to be a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is very enjoyable and the restaurant is clean and satisfactory. I look forward to staying there again in the future.

Based on Trip Advisor reviews we decided to stay here for two nights while visiting Niagara on The Lake. This hotel is good, not a 5-star, but a good 4- star. Bedding is lovely, white and clean. The restaurant provides a free buffet breakfast in the morning that is the best I've ever had (for a hotel). Hot fresh scrambled eggs, ham, potatoes, pancakes, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cold cereals, breads, muffins and more. The best part is that because you are in a restaurant there's lots of room, and I never felt rushed to leave due to table shortage, which happens so often in a hotel breakfast room. Hallways are a bit dark, and the landscaping outside needs a bit of a spruce up. The rooms are OK, but some paint pealing in the bathroom. We had a garden room, which is lovely because you can open your patio door and sit outside in the garden by the pool. There were, however, a pile of cigarette butts outside our room on the ground. Niagara on the Lake is a 20 minute drive away, as are two great malls! We loved having a fridge and a microwave in the room too. and... the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are very spacious and clean .Bed is comfortable and Internet is great which is the most Important on business trips.Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of choice in a relaxed quiet atmosphere in the restaurant.

We stayed here for 2 nights, and it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, we were so disappointed!!!!!! We were on the ground floor...the patio door didn't lock, just a little stick in it. The room was so musty smelling it made me sick, I had such a headache in the night...got up to take a pill...drank the water out of the tap and it was very foul and mouldy tasting. There was no fan in the bathroom...I did not think that was allowed. Could not get the phone to work as per instructions, so had to walk all around the hotel to get to the main desk. I went to see about getting another room at 7:00 AM the next morning, they said there was only 1 room left a few doors down, so she sent a maintenance worker to show me the room...he couldn't get the key to work, then said he was going home? Had to walk back to see what was next....she said she would call someone else, that never happened...very incompetent staff...she new we were getting picked up for a tour at 9:00. Went back at 8:50 after numerous trips, desperate now...there was a very helpful staff that overheard our conversation, and said she could have come right away, if some one had told her. She moved us herself as our bus had now arrived. The next room was not as musty, the door locked...but woke up to ants in the bed in the morning. Complained about it in the morning...the same girl just said I'll get someone to clean it up, no apologies. The only good thing about our stay was the breakfast! This place is to busy making money to do any renovations. The outside looked rough as well!

The owner and managers were present every day, greeting guests and chatting; the staff were all friendly, greeting guests as people walked by; requests for extra room supplies were immediately and graciously provided; the complimentary breakfast offerings and presentation were delicious and attractive, and our room on the courtyard near the outdoor pool was clean, comfortable and very pleasant. Constant improvements and redecoration keep this hotel up to date and attractive; a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere we enjoy.

Nothing like stairs to get to the executive Floor....or walk around the entire hotel perimeter,,,,Rooms are nothing special and very dated,,,,,These rooms are what you would find at Travelodge or Super 8...Overpriced at $138 corporate.

We went on a trip to Marinland and Niagara Fals and stayed in this Hotel. We all loved the in and out door pool as well the very well equipped and big gym. we also liked the steam room and hottup. the hotel has a courtyard with easy acces to the outdoor pool. the only negative thing to say is the breakfast time. this a a farly big hotel and the free breakfast is a buffet style however there is only one line up for the breakfast and therfore alwas a big long line oft guest and staff to replenish the items. A not to the managment- two buffet lines would take care of this problem. thanks again for the wonderfull stay this a a very family/kids frindly hotel.

When we first pulled up to the hotel we thought, uh oh, what did we get in to? We were pleasantly surprised! The hotel outside looked old, but inside was very nice & clean. We had a nice King size bed & the room was on the second floor which overlooked the pool. The breakfast was very good every morning, the young man helping in the breakfast area, Jason was such a gem,attentive to keeping tables clean, stocking items that needed refreshing and checking to see if we needed anything! Had pizza by the pool on the last day. Pizza from hotel restaurant was great!! We will be going back!!

This particular Best Western was the fifth we stayed in on our current trip. The courteous and professional front desk staff was superb . The hotel fitness center with a great work out room along with pool and spa was the best. They have a bar/lounge (Wrigley's) which we visited both nights of our stay. Could not ask for better service and the burgers are excellent. Very good complimentary breakfast in the restaurant. Highly recommend this hotel if you are ever in the area to visit Niagara Falls.
