"Good Location"

Good location to freeway. Comfortable bed but housekeeoing needs help. The shower drain in the tub was in desperate need of cleaning. There were no tissues in the tissue box holder or anywhere in the room. There were 2 bath towels but only 1 wash cloth. There was a dead bud in the bathroom sink. The room needed an air freshener of some sort to deal with a musty odor.

Mixed review. The good: bed was comfortable, HVAC worked well when it worked, plenty of water pressure, the room itself was clean, plenty of outlets and usb ports, breakfast was great (given covid precautions >> hot buffet was served by a server as we lined up, but the food was great [scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, grits]). The bad: the charges were posted on our credit card before we even showed up (which I sort of understand given we were past the "free cancellation" deadline, but no other hotel has ever done that and the charges were well above the contracted rate and were posted multiple times; it eventually all worked out, but it was unusual and concerning); check-in was easy but despite the signs saying that masks were required, the clerk did not have one on nor in his reach; at our room, the door was already ajar, got inside and couldn't close the door. Turns out Maintenance had informed the desk that that room's door needed repair but we were assigned that room anyway. After a futile attempt by Maintenance to fix the door, we were assigned a new room (also, while waiting for the door to be fixed, I fixed the pull cords to the blinds in that room). We also noticed that the magnetic seal to the mini-fridge was coming apart. In the new room, things appeared ok, but I had to open the hot water valve in the sink, and the HVAC quit in the early a.m. and would not re-start. The ugly: the hallway carpets had not been vacuumed in a while. Overall, ok, maybe it was just a bad day for the hotel, but we weren't impressed. Food was great, Maintenance tried, but something's not working.

I booked through and paid through Expedia, however when I returned home the hotel had changed me again. Ok no big deal just call and get it refunded. NOPE! No one I talked to says the have the ability to refund and I need a manager, well I am going on a week of call after call and messages there is never a manager in. Oh Tabitha will be in after 1, then oh nope she is on vacation what the Hell people. Tabitha call me back!! You are a poor manager if this is how you run your Hotel.

This hotel was really nice. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. The room was quite and clean. Was a nice place to recharge after spending the day in Savannah. I would stay here again without hesitation.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel and the hotel itself was terrible. Where do I even start? Don't say this hotel is “brand new”. It certainly isn't. You took over a Holiday Inn. The lobby looks hip and fresh, but that's about it. This was one of my least favorite Best Westerns ever. First, there was a mistake with our reservation. We were put down for 142 nights instead of 1. How bad was that, you ask? You also charged our card accordingly. We got an alert at 1:23 AM that an $8,984.90 charge at Best Western was declined due to insufficient credit. Our credit limit is fine, but an $8,984.90 error makes things a little complicated. We also had to switch rooms twice. We had issues with the air conditioning, the toilet, the bed wasn't clean, and the towel rack was falling apart. I also had some issues with points and the credit card holds. I do have to say this though, Sherry and Jamie were terrific. Despite everything that we experienced, they were both superstars in making things right with us. Both of them deserve recognition for going above and beyond to correct the issues we had. We will never stay here again, but thank you both for at least making us leave happy

I was in room 336. Upon stepping off the elevator onto the 3rd floor, there's a placard on the wall pointing rooms 300 - 311 this way, and rooms 312 - 335 this way. I was very confused by went down the hall to thankfully find a room 336. My food delivery person later called me, also very confused by this. Half folded dirty towels in the bathroom. Housekeeping didn't clean much from previous person. Coffee station wasn't replenished, only had decaf and no sugar or creamer. For $175/ night they provide you with a Sunbeam hair dryer, which is sold in every Family Dollar. Took 30 minutes to get my very short hair partially dry. Checkout is at 12. I only booked 1 night, yet housekeeping was banging my door down at 9. Scared me right out of my sleep. I left feeling very ripped off. Nightly rate needs to be lowered by $100.

ery nice 2 night stay to visit a friend on our way to Jacksonville. Very clean with ample parking space for our truck and motorcycle carrier. My husband enjoyed breakfast alone because the bed was sooooo comfy, i just wanted to sleep. The employees were outstanding! Alicrua and Tabatha were especially helpful and pleasant. The cleaning staff and supervisor, as well. I was pleasantly surprised that the cleaning supervisor was just as helpful with a towel exchange. Thank you for making our trip a pleasant success!

So disappointed! Made a reservation based on the great reviews. Very pleasant staff and very nice lobby area. As soon as we got to the room, I used Clorox wipes everywhere - as I have done during the pandemic. You never know how well a room was really cleaned. Then I discovered that the answer this time was NOT WELL. The debris on the carpet told me the room had not been vacuumed after the last guest (or more). The clothes left in the closet told me no one checked the closet after the last guest. The supply basket for the coffee maker had one k-cup and nothing else - NO CUPS, creamer, sugar, etc., so that wasn't checked after the last guest. 1/4 roll of toilet paper with no extra backup roll. And the grossest part was the gunk that covered the cosmetic mirror. Obviously hadn't been cleaned for who-knows how long. With this in mind, how do I know if the sheets were actually changed? Ewww...

We found this hotel on Trip Advisor and have stayed there several times. It's location is very convenient if you're traveling along I95. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The pillows and towels are plush for a mid-range hotel. The breakfast is the best it can be with Covid restrictions. They offer eggs, sausage, bacon, grits, etc. and it's served to you by an employee observing Covid protocols. Check in is very efficient. We will definitely stay there again.

"Maybe a PLUS but not a Premier"

This motel has a Premier Rating. Staff was excellent. Hot breakfast serve to you, excellent. Room (216) was not cleaned properly. Dirty tissues on bathroom floor. laminate flooring needs good cleaning. We are Elite members and always stay at BW and very seldom have an issue with cleanliness.

"Best Western in Pooler"

I've stayed here at BWP, 4 times since 8/20 and now, each trip was awesome the staff from front-desk to housekeeping go out of the way to welcome you. The rooms very comfortable, even when I traveled with my grandkids 6 & 8 yrs old. We were close to the attraction in Savannah and malls They offer Hot breakfast and they figured out how COVID safe. Not like other hotels offering breakfast but instead hand you a to go box. The locals are very friendly, we went to CVS and a care rep took the time to set my CVS app that had frozen. If you are driving down I-95 it's easy access on & off or your traveling to Hinesville or Savannah area it's a great place to stay. Grace, Miami Fl

"Shockingly dirty"

I checked into this Interstate Hotel for a quick overnight stop while traveling. I was shocked when I entered the bathroom. It was obviously unclean, even to a low standard. There was some type of black grease streaked on the bathroom floor. When I wiped it up, the toilet paper piece I used was nearly black with dirt, crumbs and pubic hair. The bathroom floors were filthy. The bed covers were stained and there was a blood like spot at the entry of the room. That was what I saw in 3 minutes. I quickly left the room and requested a different room. When I showed the front desk attendant the photos, she had no reaction, only stared blankly at me. The second room also had a dirty bathroom... not quite as bad. A very poor experience.

This hotel was so accommodating and helpful when we were left stranded because another hotel overbooked itself. Amazing, friendly staff, super comfortable beds and pillows! Tinese Jackson was so chipper and kind when we came down to checkout! I would definitely stay here again.

First room was so dirty got second room still dirty. Floors not cleaned, hand prints on mirrors tooth paste splatter on mirror, hair I. Shower not mine. Are real shame we love BW. Been recently updated but no cleaned properly especially during a pandemic. You would think attention to detail during this time.

"Impressed - High end, Low Price"

We stopped for an overnight. Easy off on from the highway. We usually stay at moderately priced hotels around +/- $100. Some were good some not so good. What I'm most impressed about this hotel was a King Suite for $78 in a modern, clean fabulous hotel! Maybe it's just a sign of the times regarding the price, but I was really impressed with the decor, from the outside, to the lobby to the room. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because when we checked in and went up to our room and went in, the room obviously had not been made, which was unfortunate because I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars. As travelers know, it's really aggravating when either your key card doesn't work or your room wasn't cleaned up and you have to lug your bags back down to the lobby and wait in line to get it resolved. Just an FYI for those of who this may be an issue, there are NO first floor rooms. The first floor looks to be made up of Conference rooms, a big beautiful lobby and a big breakfast area. Regarding the breakfast, as others have said it was above and beyond standard fare. Because of COVID restrictions, there was a server making up your plate from a choice of hot items such as grits, eggs, ham, sausage links, homemade home fry potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles as well as other cold offerings. Again kudos to this Best Western Premier in Pooler Georgia. When we travel I often chose Best Western and didn't even know there was a Premier option, mainly because we haven't traveled lately or because it's new. Either way, two thumbs up for this location. "Beautiful hotel."

The hotel is beautiful from the lobby to the rooms. Stayed 2 different times within 3 days. Beds are super comfy, towels are plush. They are following CDC guidelines. They still have complimentary breakfast, they have someone who dishes up your choices for you. They operate a restaurant in the evening with a limited menu which was really nice after a long drive. Tabatha and all her staffers very welcoming and helpful. I will always stay here when in the Savanah area.

"Fantastic hotel, great value"

Every aspect of this hotel was fantastic. I want to emphasize that this hotel is a Best Western Premium category. The decor is gorgeous. It is much more high end than a typical Best Western, yet the rate was not any higher. From now on I will seek out one of the 140 Premium Best Westerns. Fabulous bed. Extra spacious room with extra long desk and suitcase table. Located off of I 95 yet no traffic. Because it is called an airport hotel, I anticipated some airplane noise. But I heard zero noise.

I call ahead of time to see if I could check in early because my truck was in the repair shop and they had no where for me to wait, and Tabatha said I could come and check in early. Once I arrived to the hotel I could tell Tabatha was smiling although she had a mask on. I gave her my name and she had my room key card and paperwork already prepared. No matter what questions I had Tabatha answered them with a small. The management and staff are awesome and I will always come back. Thanks Anthony

"Best Western Premier Pooler - A Hidden Gem"

I must admit, I was a little skeptical because I've never experienced a Best Western before but this hotel modeled one of the finer Hilton brands! Very clean, exceptional service and everyone was attentive to our needs! Hotel staff seemed to take the necessary measures to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. This will definitely be our "go-to" hotel for Savannah. It is about a 5 minute drive from the Tanger Outlet but away from the crazy traffic and 20 mins from Downtown Savannah - it is a hidden gem!

"Superb Hotel"

We decided to stay at the new Best Western Premier while traveling to Florida and it was the best decision that we have made so far on our trip. The hotel was very clean, the staff was amazing, and the breakfast was exceptional. We will be back soon!

We stayed only one night, but we hated to leave. This place was amazing. We had a comfortable room and we even slept later than normal, which is quite rare! The staff was courteous and efficient. The only problem we had was we could not get the television schedule to display. We found a movie without it.

"A Great Hotel"

The hotel was extremely clean, from the exterior to our room. It was also very quiet and peaceful. The staff was courteous. Check-in and check-out was a swift process. The hotel is located directly off of I-95, which was convenient and easy to find. I really enjoyed my stay. When I return to the area, I will be staying at this hotel again!

First time visiting a Best Western Premier. Lobby was clean and inviting. Staff was welcoming and professional. Room was inviting. Loved the vinyl plank flooring through out. WiFi was excellent, television channel selection good. Had a great nights sleep. Shower was good. Breakfast was good. Due to Covid it had to be served. Glad we tried a Best Western Premier. Location was excellent... off I 95 close to eateries and gas. Will definitely consider stopping here again

"Week in Savannah"

While in training for a week down in Savannah, I stayed at this hotel. My stay during my time was quiet and my room was in pristine condition during my entire stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever I had requests or questions. I was also about to speak to the manager Matthew who was able to provide extra confidence about safety measures in place at the hotel in reference to the current pandemic. First class!

"Needs help!"

This could be a great hotel with a little guidance. We spent the weekend here had 2 rooms. They were obviously short staffed in housekeeping. Rooms were half cleaned. In one room it smelled of smoke and dirty towels left in room shower curtain was dirty had toothpaste all over it and mildew at the bottom and when we went to the desk they said they would send someone to clean it better well that never happened. The next day we requested service again and never received it. Batteries went dead in door and sat down in lobby for over an hour to get back in the room. 2nd room the floors were not swept and there were stains on the sheets. Top spreads were covered in hair. The TV didn't work and upon looking found that the wires had been spliced and duct taped into the TV leaving a static picture and no volume Freezers were not cleaned with a busted drink still in it. A/c in hallways or elevators were not working. No one knew how to fix the problems. At check out I asked if my rewards number was on my rooms so I could get credit and she didn't not know how to do that. This could be a great hotel if they get some kind of management to hire some housekeepers and train their staff properly. There are so many options in this area people won't return if these issues continue. Please management fix these issues and have a great hotel so people want to stay without so many problems

This is an upscale Best Western, beautifully decorated and a good breakfast. The accommodations are large and clean. It is convenient to the I95 interstate and close to many good restaurants. We had a king size bed with a mattress that had seen better days. The price was nearly twice what we had paid in St. George, but an entirely different venue. The personnel were mostly friendly, the exception being the breakfast server who had a bad attitude. Overall, it's a fairly impressive hotel

"Over price snacking"

Price gouging (triple priced) the snacks they offer. A bag of $.50 popcorn was $3.50 a bag. A pack $1.00 Oreo cookies maybe $1.50 was $3.50 also. They should be ashamed. Such a small thing can make you feel taken advantage of. They should fix this fo eff future guest.

"Comfy beds, but lacks cleanliness "

I must say, I'm very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness, especially during a pandemic. I chose a BWP hotel because I wanted the extra comfort and premium linen. Never would I imagine such a disregard for room cleaning. In all fairness, the issue is with the cleaning personnel. Our first room (228), 2 Queen suite had sticky floors and a sticky countertop by the fridge. Unfortunately for me, I discovered the sticky floors with my bare feet. As we had not brought any luggage in the room yet, the front desk offered a new room as there was no one to clean the room. Our second room (309), also a 2 Queen Suite had much cleaner floors, however, upon pulling back the covers/pillows, there was a dark, short, curly hair. There was another one in the tub. The bathroom countertop was gritty to the touch. The full length mirror also had drippings of some sort at the bottom. Luckily I had cleaning supplies in my vehicle because we are traveling during a pandemic and I can depend upon no one but myself. Last area of concern is the elevators. The floors are filthy and it is evident there is zero enhanced cleaning happening in the elevators with metal surfaces. On to the good part. After spending the last 3 nights at a condo in Panama City with the absolute worst mattresses ever, this BWP delivered on the much need comfortable beds. The pillows are luscious and sheets so soft that you just want to make snow angel legs under the covers. Dirty martini at the bar was on point.

Clean rooms, great staff, right off the interstate. Breakfast and parking provided. A few fast food restaurants within walking distance. Historic Savannah is just a short drive away. Definitely will stay here again when in the area.

Quiet and Clean - Friendly Staff. Large room with large screen TV. Hot breakfast served to order. Lots of resturaunts close by. Great motel for family vacations - close proximity to Savannah - right off the Interstate.

"Clean hotel"

The hotel was very clean and located in a good spot off the interstate. Convenient shopping and food. Located about 10-15 minutes from downtown Savannah depending on traffic. They also had a very nice patio area that we used eveynight and meet some nice people to talk and have a few drinks with.

Tabitha was wonderful when we checked in and everyone else that we interacted with were wonderful! The amenities were great. The gym had new equipment and included a treadmill, stationary bike, and elliptical machine, free weights and balance balls. The pool was nice and a decent size. The breakfast was cooked on site and was delicious. Much better than the packaged breakfast at other hotel chains. I will definitely be back again!

Every guest told us how well they slept on the beds and they were impressed with the rooms and the service. Also Ms. Dell Goldwire was extremely helpful to us in setting up meeting room & conference room at a economical price. We would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to use it again when we have out of town guests.
