When we got there at the first room, it was wasn't very clean. It's had a musty smell and then we seen a couple of bugs crawling on the wall so I went to the front desk, but the lady at the front desk took care of it we were putting in another room which smelled so much better. You could tell it was been clean a lot better The other room you tell that had you had been used in a while and the other room no sign of bugs whatsoever and the woman at the front desk was so so apologetic and it was she was so sorry so so sorry and it wasn't her fault but the breakfast there was at fantastic, have to say that so
Great stopping point location. Everything about this hotel was great; service, cleanliness, bed, breakfast. Not a lot to do in the area but convenient location. There is a Dillards Clearance Center right behind the hotel for great shopping. We will stay here again.
Because of our continuous positive experiences this is our go-to hotel when we stay in Pine Bluff. We have stayed here two times and have had great, friendly service, clean facilities and a great breakfast that is constantly being stocked each time.
Stopped on our way back from Alabama beaches to home in Missouri. We had stayed in a best western in Vicksburg Mississippi that was great. This one not so much. Front counter was pleasant but room was musty and humid Pool was down Breakfast was mediocre. No yogurt Eggs bland potatoes tasted freezer burned and not hot. Biscuits tasted off too. Disappointing after other best western stay. Front desk attendant was talking to breakfast attendant the whole time we were at breakfast and when I went to ask About yogurt I was told it its not out we don't have it. Seemed aggravated I even asked. Holiday inn motel 6 and super 8 all right by. Id check them next time
Best Western is a hotel/motel everyone should stay at. For the price, the amenities and rooms can't be beat. The breakfast is comparable to a restaurant and you don't have to travel. Everything is there. None of those overcooked egg omelettes everyone else has. We are talking, scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, home fries, and sausage gravy! Pretty much anything you could want for breakfast.
You definitely want your slippers on to walk on the carpet!! The breakfast is NASTY 🤢🤮 the waffles may have been good but that machine was broken! The milk wasn't kept on ice so it was bad and we couldn't even have cereal! Pastries consisted of the tiniest muffin ever and tiniest square dried out pastry ever. The rest was cold eggs, rubbery sausage, brown/grey gravy and hard biscuits!! All this with the company of good ol flies 😳
Noisy if you are on a lower floor room. Floors squeak. Paint falling off walls in bathroom. The town restaurants are bad with horrible service. This town is like being in a different country where no body cares.
The room was very clean and spacious. The three desk staff members we spoke with were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was an added bonus with plenty of choices and the staff member working in the food area insured there was plenty for everyone and the area was keep spotless. I highly recommend this Best Western in Pine Bluff.
Room had a bad odor, The lady that worked the breakfast bar was hateful and rude. She kept mumbling under her breath at people like, she acted like as if she hated her job. Never smiled at anyone. Just rude! Night shift lady was super nice while checking in.
After check in it took four times to get hotel keys that still didn't work after the four times so the woman had to come up to open the door for me which she wasn't pleased with. I would never in my life ever stay there again I'd rather sleep in the parking lot
We stayed at this hotel while driving across the country. It was on our route, allows pets and we usually stay at Best Western. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean, but I think we expected something a bit nicer since Presidential was in the hotel name. The room needs quite a bit of maintenance. There were multiple holes in the drywall and the bathroom door looked like something tried to break it down. All in all, we slept well, enjoyed the breakfast and continued on our way. We would stay here again and just have a lower expectation
This property was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was typical with hot foods offered as well as cold cereal and danishes. The location was key here and the rooms were clean, including the bathroom.
As usual, visit was normal. No problems experienced. Room was decent, some nick-nacs in room need attention to but ok; I'm sure things would have been corrected if I had brought it to their attention. Outside was 100 degrees, inside room was cool and pleasant. Enjoyed my stay overall. Sure, I'm looking forward returning next year.
This is a very clean and welcoming motel. Staff exstreamly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Good location close to casino and other great eating places.
Hubby and I stayed for 2nd time. The Location is best for the Casino, room was clean but I seen a few minor details that I didn't think were BW Standers, nothing major. Breakfast was good, plentiful and hot. Dining room was clean and inviting. We will stay here next time we come to Casino
The facility is OK. The problem is the tub needs a mat. Upon taking a shower the bottom of the tub becomes very slippery from the soap. If they don't provide one, please put down a hand towel in the tub.
We were traveling through for one night. This Hotel had good reviews, so we chose it. It provided us a good stop. We would have no reservations about staying at this Hoyel again. It was clean, quiet and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was adequate and the location provided easy on/off access to major Highway.
Horrible nightmare. Checked in to room with stained sheets that had been smoothed out but never changed from last guess. Immediately went downstairs and was told they had no more rooms but she could give me sheets to make my own bed. She apologized and said and I quote “they didn't check the sheets”? I returned to room and changed the bedding. Upon entering the bathroom it had a strong odor of mildew or mold? Dusty mirror, hairs all over the soap scum shower walls it was disgusting. When I tried to call down to complain the lady at front desk couldn't hear me so she addressed me as sweetie and asked that I come downstairs because phone didn't work. I'm at this point shaking mad. The tv had greasy or sticky prints on the screen, pipe under sink had so much dirt pile up I know it hadn't been wiped in atleast a year. Two ladies at the desk was very apologetic and explained that they are short staffed because no one wants to work. One was the housekeeping supervisor and she stated that she hasn't been able to inspect rooms because she is busy cleaning rooms and she admits it's unacceptable but it's the truth. The other lady states I'll be discounted and room deep cleaned ( I got neither) I told her I wasn't looking for money I was looking for what I paid for and that was a nice clean good smelling room with clean bed linen. Although they were apologetic I'm still upset because I paid for two nights in a place that ai couldn't even relax in so we would just stay gone until time to sleep. I had to clean the bathroom myself and make my own bed. Phone never worked. Coffee pot never received and discount never given. HORRIBLE!!!' With all the Covid and flu season it's unacceptable to be cutting corners with sanitizing rooms properly and this place is horrible. So I cleaned and sanitized because I had no choice I had nowhere else to stay and I'm from Chicago.
We stayed at this hotel because it has an electric car charger. There's only one charger available, and I was afraid it would already be taken, but luckily it was available, because the voltage is so low it took 10 hours to charge my car! The hotel is getting a bit aged, but still very nice for the price. They never claimed to be the Hilton. l got a bit of a shock when I entered my room and tried to adjust the temperature. See attached photos. The heat/AC unit under the windows says "use the thermostat on the wall" and there IS no thermostat on the wall. Just a plastic frame where a thermostat used to be. Luckily, I went back to the window unit, opened the control panel, and was able to control the system there. But you'd think they'd take a moment to fix the signage! We really liked the breakfast. Nice selection. Once I microwaved one of the cold biscuits, I made a delicious sausage biscuit with 2 sausage patties. Also had scrambled eggs, and the sausage gravy was fine. You'd almost think it's homemade. Good OJ and coffee. The waffles smelled good, but I'm basically an egg man.
We were pleasantly surprised at the nice rooms for being pet friendly. Hotel staff were friendly and polite. Main highway out front was busy but you could not here the traffic from our room which faced the street.
Affordable stay and felt safe in the area. Clean room, good pillows, good breakfast. Hotel is next to Dillard's Clearance Center, which is why I chose hotel. Pine Bluff/Little Rock was a stopover area for my trip, and I love to visit the >65% sales at the Clearance Center. I could see the Clearance center from my room. In October, the outside pool was closed & covered. No hot tub.
The only positive comment I can really make about this place is that the two front desk ladies that I encountered were very friendly and accomodating. The rooms (I was given a second room after I complained about the first one) were disgusting, however! List of disgusting things: extremely musty/moldy smell in the room, some mysterious crusty stuff (possibly some sort of fungus?) all over the front and side of the fridge, dirty toilet, sticky bathroom floor with gross corners and gross edge around the toilet, MOLD growing in multiple places including on the INSIDE of a photo frame because of the wet/gooey/moldy spot on the wall it was hanging on, carpet which appeared not to have been vacuumed in weeks, metal items in the room were rusty, bathroom door hinges were so rusty and broken that the door was hanging crooked so the door would not close (and this was in the "GOOD" room), some undetermined disgusting smell in the elevator (probably due to whatever had been spilled in there and never cleaned up), and greasy smeared elevator panels. My friend's room had dirty smears all along one of the walls, a dirty bathroom floor just like my room, a plastic bag over the smoke alarm, and he discovered eight dryer sheets shoved in his a/c unit which explained the weird and overpowering flowery smell in his room. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences that I and my friend have ever had!
My room was on the first floor and I had guests. Bugs flying around, bugs in the drawers going through my stuff, a hairy wolf spider living in my couch. The ice machine needs it filter changed. I had to rinse the ice every time since there were things on the ice. Isn't too hard to see dark spots on ice. The laundry area was great! Heavily used and in good order. The front counter had quarters so even better!! I doubt I'll be back any time soon. They need to address the bugs and nasty ice. Don't believe me just fill a cup up and just look through the ice. It's like lint on ice hard to miss.
Overall nice accommodations for the price, but bed was a bit uncomfortable. Mattress definitely needs to be replaced and the sheets felt cheap and scratchy. The breakfast was top notch; a lot of selection and everything was fresh and hot.
The pool was disgusting, The bathroom door in the room would not close. The bathroom is dirty. We came there to swim and we had to check out because the pool was so gross. The breakfast was awful and the tables were never wiped off after people got up.
Friendly and helpful staff. The furniture in the room felt a little dated though and there was obvious rust stain and mildew from a/c unit and appliances and curtains. Even though the room seemed visually clean the it felt dirty. The shower head had like scale on it. Also, the spa tub maintenance access panel had rust stains, the lamps had rust on, and the curtain had mildew or rust stains on the next to the air conditioner.
This BW is across from the casino, friendly staff, clean rooms and very quiet stay. The AC unit worked great, super chill! I would recommend for short or long stays. The bed was comfortable enough, not the best, but not the worst either.
The cleanliness of the room was horrible. The room smelled like urine, there was mold in the refrigerator and the tv did not work. Although the clerk did her best to try to accommodate us, there was no other room available
Latay at front desk was the perfect combination of friendly & efficient. Automatic sliding doors open into lobby area. My room was clean & comfortable w/fridge, micro, in-room coffee. Free wifi w/ample signal strength. Slept well on very comfortable w/triple sheets & lots of fat, fluffy pillows. Decent water pressure, generous supply of bright white towels in good condition, plenty of counter space. Great room at a great price & I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again :-)
The hotel is near the highway so it is easily accessible. This location is a little older hotel and we could tell that upgrades had probably been done in the last few years. Though the linens had been washed, there were stains on the pillowcases.
The original room we were assigned at check-in had a tiny bathroom lavatory; way too small to set the items most women will need handy. The front desk kindly moved us to a suite and did not charge us extra. In the original room, I moved the ottoman to a different location so we could use it as a second luggage rack. When I moved it, there was a Cheeto under it. To me, that's an indication the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. At 2:30 a.m., I got up to use the bathroom and upon returning to bed, I scraped my leg on a mattress support bracket and it began to bleed. We looked for antibiotic ointment and a bandaid in our personal items, but did not have any. I washed the area with antibacterial soap, but it still bled some. I put on some clothes and went to the front desk and the clerk found bandaids. Later, I went to a pharmacy and got a $60 tetanus shot just in case the rusty support would have caused problems. The toilet handle and pull chain needed adjustment. The handle had to be held down for 3-5 seconds to ensure it would fully flush. Otherwise, it was a nice stay although we decided to only stay one night instead of two nights as originally planned. There wasn't much to see or do in the town and we found it to be depressing with many closed businesses and dilapidated areas. We also heard from locals that the crime rate was high, making us uncomfortable being out and going for walks. We had planned to stay two nights, but decided to move on after the first night.
The room and hallway smelled terrible, bed was saggy, and the blanket was very thin, basically the hotel is old and worn and have a musty smell. I am never staying at a Best Western again! I will never stay at a Best Western again.
Travel for mother's funeral. Meet family and stay was highly enjoyable. The hotel allowed us to use the lobby to eat together after the funeral. That was much appreciated since we came from Memphis, Dallas, Kansas City, Michigan..
The room needed a good cleaning! From window tracks to floor to bathroom! Stains on bed skirt and curtains hanging crooked. Sheets clean and bed comfy. Even questioned vacuumed? Disappointed for our usual experience with Best Western. Would have gone on, But prebooked and paid.
This was a nice motel, and conveniently located. The employees were super nice and helpful. The outside and inside was very nice and clean. Though we didn't get up in time to take advantage of the continental breakfast - they has one.
We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. Great on and off from the interstate, love the location. But this time the service was so subpar. The place is definitely in need of repair and customer service was the worst I have ever seen. We had a king suite and they only gave us two bath towels (it sleeps up to four). When I asked for another bath towel I was told I had to bring one of the other towels down to them and I could have another one. The microwave did not work the AC/heat did not work and the remote for the TV didn't even have batteries in it. When I was trying to get the situation rectified I was told by the person at the front desk that they were new and there was nothing they could do about it. When we asked to speak to the manager or have his phone number we were denied. For three nights in a row we stayed at best westerns, the other two were absolutely wonderful & far more superior than the one in Pine Bluff Arkansas.
Really worn down. Not up to bw standards. Musky smell when entering building. Beds were pretty comfy though. Needs to be remodeled. Had a breakfast area but really small. Probably won't stay here again.
We made a reservation for a room with two queen beds because we are a family of four. And when we got there and checked in the lady done did not even tell us when we got to the room they were double beds.
This is a typical Best Western and was as expected for the price. It was a little older and a little run down, but it was clean. The room did have a really strong cleaning chemical smell. The location is quiet. I didn't eat the breakfast so I can't comment on that.
Great hotel for family and pets! Very welcoming and friendly staff. Above expectations all around. I felt like I was coming home. This is a spot where you can kick back and relax. Bring your family, bring your pets!
My flight was canceled. I called the help line in the email and they transferred me over to her department to fix the problem and change my date. I left a message there and they never called me back. I called two more times. They charged my credit card the full amount. I will not be staying there anymore.
Me and my family stayed at the the BW in Pine Bluff on the dates of 8/15/2021 and 8/16/2021 to drop our daughter off at college and I must say that our stay was very unpleasant. First of all when we arrived, the young ladies attire behind the counter was unprofessional…she had on stretch pants and “Van” gym shoes with her feet hanging out the back, this type of dress code I feel is very unprofessional for a customer service representative that greets guest as they walk in. The next morning I requested two new set of towels and I was told that I had to come down stairs, I was led to the laundry room, was told to drop the old set in the room on the floor and she gave me a new set while I stood there in the company's laundry room…not a professional thing to have a guest do. As we were leaving, my husband was taking our bags back in forth to our car and after he came back in, decided to get breakfast well the young lady apparently thought he was someone off the street and made him present his ID and questioned who he was as if he was a free loader off the street…now I mind you, there was other customers coming and going but she never questioned them…he felt threatened and most definitely discriminated against….this is unacceptable. Hotel wasn't bad. Lobby was clean. Breakfast was very tasty and lots of options. Questionable stains on the sheets in the room. Staff wasn't overly friendly but they were fine. Blinking light on the smoke detectors was awful. All night long. Just blinking away. In a questionable location. Not a lot around.
We stayed at the Best Western - just across the road from the Saracen Casino. Hotel was clean and and quiet, Air Con worked great. Room are not being cleaned yet. Not a big issue. Only issue and a small one was extra towels and Wash Rags were in short supply. Do recommend.
Hotel and room was very clean, beds were comfortable and staff was very accommodating. Bryant at the front desk was very polite and professional and ensured all our needs were met. Breakfast was wonderful and our English Bull Dog was treated just as well as we were! Thank you for such a great experience!
On my last night, I was told, per mgmt., because there weren't any clean towels that morning, staff couldn't exchange dirty towels for clean towels. The carpet & bathroom were dirty. Bed was comfortable.
Property is nice and clean, and the front desk staff were amazing and very friendly. The price was great and the rooms were clean and well maintained. I was not disappointed with this hotel at all. I would definitely stay here again
There was hair in the bed in one of the rooms I booked and both rooms had hair in the tub! Clearly the rooms were not cleaned properly. Not only did we have to request new sheets, but we had to change them ourselves.
We stayed at this hotel one night while traveling on vacation. The outside property is well maintained and clean. The lobby was very clean and well decorated. The front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. There is a workout room and pool (which was not open), and free breakfast. Our room was clean and well decorated. The mattress was comfortable, however, the pillows left a lot to be desired. We all woke up with stiff necks. The bathroom was nice size; however, the toilet ran ALL night long; we had to keep the door closed just to be able to sleep. Also, there was a smell in the room coming from a paper mill down the road, and a couple of us woke up with our sinuses going nuts. Not the hotel's fault, except that maybe better filters would be an idea?? Also, at check in, we were told to control the a/c with the wall unit, however, no matter what temp we put it on, it was freezing in our room... We had to end up turning it completely off. The free breakfast consisted of waffles, omelets with what appeared to be peppers in it, bacon, potatoes, an assortment if breads, biscuits and muffins, and cereal. The waffle maker was apparently broken. We poured the batter in, closed the top and turned it over (as instructions stated), and batter all poured out the side. All in all, it was not a bad stay for a quick overnight stop. Would I stay here again? Probably not, at least not without a few modifications. With a few repairs and better air quality, this could be a great hotel! The BEST thing about this hotel was the staff. Each one we interacted with was super friendly and helpful.
We always enjoy staying here. Its definitely the best in this area. Clean rooms. We always reserve king suite bc I like the sitting area with the 2nd TV. Friendly helpful staff and they always try to address any complaint.
We booked here because we really like staying at the Best Western hotels. The check in staff was really sweet and professional. Our queen room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was one of the Absolute Best we've had in over a year at a hotel. Fresh, hot waffles, bacon, gravy and biscuits along with scrambled eggs and omelets. Fresh fruit, yogurt etc. They followed covid guidelines with mask and gloves and seating. The lobby was nice, airy and clean. Overall an A+ for comfort, friendliness and looks. Thank you showing how other hotels should be!!
Good enough for a one night stay. It was adequately clean. Nice to have the sitting area for watching TV. Nothing special but works out if you're traveling through Pine Bluff and need a place to stay.
Checking in, staff is very rude and not helpful. Check out staff was dry but not rude. Idk what breakfast was but it smelt horrible like vomit all through the hotel. Carpets need steamed. Tv and internet did not work because of the snow, I was not warned of this, I just figured it out.
I probably would've wrote a better review but this one thing pissed me off. I called the front desk to get more towels and I was told I had to bring my used towels down to the front desk to switch them out for clean ones. Never have I ever heard of this before in my entire life. This is very insulting. What kinda hotel does this? It's nasty and not at all professional. Poor service and horrible hospitality.
Stayed almost a month on and off due to family emergency in the city. Staff members Latay and Kia were the rudest employees I have EVER encountered. Not helpful in ANY way. Mistakes were made SEVERAL times dealing with not only my reward status and promotions but charged my card with unauthorized and incorrect charges repeatedly. These charges took days to be returned to my card only to be told very rudely that it's my bank who was the reason for the delay, but not acknowledging that THEIR REPEATED ERRORS WAS THE REASON FOR OUR INCONVENIENCE!!!! I tried talking with Latay and Kya to no avail. Was treated like anything OTHER than not only a gold member client but also a customer that had spent more than 2000.00 dollars over the last month. Requested to speak with the manager who was supposed to call me back and NEVER did. Instead I was only given his last name which is Patel. I continued to stay after the continued errors ONLY to have the SAME thing occur today MORE INACCURATE CHARGES ON MY CARD THAT....YOU GUESSED IT WON'T BE REFUNDED FOR DAYS!!! When I complained AGAIN the "MEAN GIRL DUO" (Latay and Kya) where as usual extremely rude as if I the customer was at fault for their NUMEROUS mistakes. You would think that a customer that stayed this long with this MANY MISTAKES bestowed upon them that management would check in with them or at least return a call. This however did not happen. Latay informed me today that she spoke with management and that after today WE ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO RESIDE AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!! YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT!!!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!! It's obvious they have NO regard for not only customers BUT LOYAL CUSTOMERS!!!! We have been here so long that we are familiar with the staff so on a good note Shirley was AMAZING. She helped navigate us through ANY problems that arose and we looked forward to the days she worked. Heather was also VERY pleasant to deal with. BUT if neither of them are on the desk you WILL NOT receive anything CLOSE to customer service. We have not received even an apology or a visit from management but instead what is comparable to an eviction and must check out in the morning. THIS IS HOW THIS HOTEL TREATS CUSTOMERS AND I WOULD DEFINITELY DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM STAYING HERE!!!
We requested a non smoking room and got a room that reeked of tobacco and weed. The bathroom floor was sticky and dirty, stained sheets, hole in the wall... You could smell in the hallway people were smoking all over the place. The side doors of the hotel also do not lock even at night meaning anyone can get in and out...
BEWARE!! If you have any concerns about being infected with COVID-19, don't stay here, the two employees I interacted with at the front desk did not wear masks. The telephone in my room was filthy. Luckily I had some alcohol and wiped it down.
I called to make sure my rooms were taken care of and was surprised to hear that I was speaking with the manager who was suppose to send me third party authorization form but after about 30 mins still hadn't received anything so I called back only to have her hang up in my face and tell me that she was busy
Stayed here enroute to Louisiana during Covid. Older property but well maintained. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and quiet on the side away from the highway. Breakfast option was limited - grab and go bag. Would stay here again.
Needed a hotel for an unexpected trip. Reserved by phone and staff, room, and bed were very good and super quiet. I actually slept through the night. Price was also about $50.00 less than other hotels I called first. It was also a good location and easy to get to my meetings. This was my first stay in a Best Western and was so good I stayed again for my next two trips the following week. The only negative is the sack breakfast which is a piece of fruit, bottle of water, and small granola bar. Otherwise very happy stay.
This hotel is hard to review because while it didn't live up to my normal standards, I have a feeling it's probably one of the best options in Pine Bluff. I'll to keep it factual so here it is for what it's worth. Lol Safety: It is right on a highway but it's the business Highway not the interstate. The area was very rundown but we didn't see a single part of Pine Bluff that looked any better. I didn't feel AS safe as I like to be - safe enough though that I did stay alone with my daughter. But once we checked in and got to our room we didn't leave for any reason until checking out the next morning. Room and Cleanliness: Appeared nice at first look - carpets seem newish, everything looks modern. But upon closer look it appears like cosmetics slapped over an unmaintained building. There were fairly large scuffs covering most of the bottom of the walls at every corner/edge. The “nooks and crannies” in every corner of the room and bathroom were disgusting. Like when you clean but only the main walkways and not to the edges. The bed sheets were dingy white and had stains. (This part was even more apparent when I stayed in a different hotel the next night in another town and the sheets were shockingly bright white). This was the first time I wished I had brought my own sheets. Breakfast: Because of the recent pandemic, they weren't allowed to serve breakfast. I expected that but the other hotels I stayed at and called about were at least offering packaged items (muffins, pastries) or whole fruit individually bagged. This hotel offered nothing. And of course, their rate did not decrease for the reduced service. The only positives I can give it was the friendly staff ladies at the front desk. Overall I would not recommend this hotel, especially for the price (I paid close to $100). But sadly I would have to say I don't recommend staying in Pine Bluff at all.
This hotel was good but it didn't seem to be in the best part of town. I had trouble finding any good restaurants near it. The room was clean and relatively quiet. I didn't get to try the pool or breakfast since they were closed due to the virus shutdown.
Our room was large and clean. The bed was comfy and had a night stand on each side of the bed (this is not always the case in some motels). There was an arm chair, desk/chair, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast was very nice: ham, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, pastries, muffins, bagels, oatmeal pkts w/toppings, waffles, cereal, juice & coffee.
Perfect room, very clean, lots (and I mean lots) of great new towels, fast wifi and a very quiet stay. I love this place. Previous night stayed in a BW in Council Bluffs IA and it was a disaster. The presidential Inn& Suites restored my belief that hotels still know what a guest wants and needs. Thank you Presidential Hotel and staff. Great job and keep up the good work. You should be rewarded.
BW of Pine Bluff, AR continues to provide a comfortable & safe environment for break from traveling. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. They even remember our dog KC. We have stayed at this facility 5 times in the last year.
Since my mother been dealing with health challenges ,I have been traveling from Texas to Pine Bluff to be with her ever week . There come a time when family have there disagreements , so I stop staying with family and start staying at the Best Western in Pine Bluff, AR . The customer services was beyond my expectation. The staff are very friendly, caring and professional. Once they found out that my mother was place on Hospice they show so much concern for her. Now when I check in my mother is the first person the staff ask about . I am so bless to stay at a hotel where there is caring and professional staff .
Everything was great! All the staff members were friendly, and the breakfast was good each morning. A huge plus was the Dillards clearance center right behind the hotel. I will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.
I stayed 9 days the hotel was quite and very comfortable the beds were great . It was very clean. The staff was great you could always find someone if you needed them. The breakfast was good and the coffee was great . I would definitely stay here again.
The Pine Bluff Best Western is located at a convenient location on the South side of the town. And it'll be even more convenient when the casino opens across the street. A nice breakfast buffet, clean room and lobby area and a smiling staff makes for a pleasant stsy.
Hotel clean inside and out, the bed was good and ac worked well, the breakfast was good too, we booked the suite with 2 tvs and lots of room with a sofa, and no is filling the 200 needed for a review, which they should look into to reduce for a qualified review. :-)
Great facility, great service. Free breakfast could have been better (good food but not served warm enough). Charlotte and Keye went out of their way to make our stay great. Location was great (near the highway).
I was in town for a workshop the next day so I drove in the night before. The kind lady at the front desk greeted me with a nice smile! The room was very comfortable and clean. I traveled alone and felt very safe in this hotel in this location.
There was a weird smell in the lobby when we checked in. It went all the way to the second floor. Also the code to the wi-fi didn't work didn't feel like bothering the lady at the desk because every time I walked through the lobby, she looked away
near interstate, easy check in and check out, friendly staff, standard Best Western breakfast, very clean and comfortable room, quiet area and hotel, clean parking lot, had read reviews which were not positive, however, I have nothing negative on this hotel.
I was kinda skeptical about the reviews. One or two bad reviews will make you choose a lesser hotel. My room was clean and spacious. The bed swallowed me up, it was so comfortable. The couch not so much, it was stiff leather. Breakfast was good, the internet access was great, and the shower was a nice steady stream. They had later than usual checkout, noon.
My husband and I tend to travel a lot, since we are retired, and have to say our favorite hotel is Best Western by far. The cleanliness, and attention + hospitality we receive at this hotel is phenomenal.
Bathroom floor filthy. many dead bugs in light. One small bar of soap to share for sink and tub. Tub extremely slippery and no handles to hang on to. More of an industrial area. Not a lot of good restaurants close by.
We specifically stayed here because they have gluten free options for breakfast. The room was okay, but went to breakfast and had to almost beg the staff to keep breakfast stocked. They had a bus load of people and was not prepared they could not keep the eggs, sausage etc stocked. When I asked about gluten free, I had to educate them as to what gluten was! The staff said we have milk? Was not happy having to educate them that is something that corporate should be doing, especially since according to the other BW I have stayed at they are now suppose to be required to have GF/DF options, this one did not even have a clue about it. Will NOT be staying there again, and will now ask before staying about gluten free. Was very disappointed.
This hotel was much better than we expected! The rooms were very modern and clean, with renovations and new carpets also. Tammy and Chase at the front desk were awesome, very helpful and accomodating! For a nice affordable stay in the Pine Bluff area, we would definitely recommend.
The hotel would not let me check in a few hours early without charging me extra, even though I am in town helping flood victims, and working 12 hour days. If that was the only issue, I could have lived with it, as that was not the end of the world. However, that was just the start of my issues with this hotel. The front desk person was on her phone when I arrived, and didn't look up until I said something after a good few moments. I travel a lot, and frequently use Best Western, and typically enjoy good service. This lady could have cared less whether I was there or not. Once she deigned to check me in, she rushed me, like I was keeping her important duties (her phone). My room was hot upon arrival, and would not adjust. They had to come up and fix the air. There was trash on the floor by one of the beds, which made me question the overall cleanliness. The floors seemed dingy and were not well vacuumed. Breakfast was unappealing. Watery eggs, "sausage", watery coffee, and brown bananas. I ended up going to McDonald's. I would not recommend this place to any fellow travelers.
The staff here is wonderful, its clean and in a good safe location in Pine Bluff, next to the mall and soon to be casino. I enjoy staying here when I come to Pine Bluff. They also have an outdoor pool.
I have fallen in love with Best Western! Especially after staying at the Pine Bluff, AR location. I recommend them to all my family and friends. I love that I am able to check in early and via email. And the staff has always been pleasant.
Friendly honest.staff, comfy beds. Lobby and breakfast areas were clean and welcoming. Coffee was fantastic. Lots of construction happening in the area on the roads, but it couldn't be heard in hotel, so no disruptions caused at all.
Pool was not open Memorial Weekend, although outside temps were in the 90s. Housekeeping did not clean our room during our stay. Our bathroom tub had poor plumbing. It took a very long time for the water to drain out.
The staff was awesome!! The hotel carpet needs updating and my 1st room had electrical problems. The 2nd room needs the jacuzzi tube removed (sanitary reasons). That doesn't add value my cousin with a 17 year old son was give the room prior to me with a roll a way bed.
The hotel was very nice with a good breakfast selection. The staff was very courteous during check-in and check-out. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
Their employees go out of their way to make sure your stay is great! Breakfast was awesome plus I love their rewards! My room was very clean and hotel location was very easy to find! Rate for the room was the best in town!
Nice room, good service. Plenty of eating places nearby. A good (not great) breakfast. I travel by motorcycle and was offer parking under the covered area since the weather was threatening to be severe. Thanks!
Have come to appreciate the standards of Best Western. Their breakfast menu is always ample to satisfy anyone's desires. We especially enjoy the Belgian waffles and muffins. Our only problem is locating the motel even with a GPS. The outside sign is difficult to see from the street since it is on the building.
The southern hospitality is alive and well at this Best Western Hotel in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The pet area is clean and welcoming. The breakfast had a variety of selections that we enjoyed to the fullest because we had another 5 hours of driving to our final destination and didn't have to stop to eat. The staff was so helpful and knew about the detours that we would be experiencing on the Interstate. Our GPS tried to re-route us but because we were previously advised by helpful Best Western's well trained staff we knew what to expect in advance. Very helpful.
Great staf! Great place to stay! Easy on and off the highway. The staff is very friendly and helpful, room is big and clean. The best part is pet friendly for those of us with a fur baby. The only draw back is no reastraunt close by.
Great option if you are in the area. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are clean. The staff responded quickly to any special requests. They have microwave and fridge in every room. They also have a crib available upon request if you are traveling with a baby.
There were three of us that stayed 3 nights. Have to say this was a great place, much better than expected. The staff were wonderful. Breakfast had all we wanted in good supply. Room was very clean, was great to have mini kitchen. We only wished the ice machine worked, which is such a minute detail compared to the great value here.
I had a great experience checking in. There were two people and they were both very friendly and accommodating. The lobby was immaculate. Our room was on the second floor next to the the elevator. I heard no noise from this the entire night. I was not able to use any amenities so I can't rate those, but the room was spacious, super clean, and the bed was comfortable with enough pillows. It was a good stay.
Stayed here for one night the room I booked was unavailable due to their remodeling the assistant on duty JP put me in a little nicer room to compensate for the inconvenience. And then let me park my motorcycle in a very secure area upfront. I felt confident that it was safe for the night. He also made sure I had some water to drink as it was hot that day 95°. Can't say enough about JP how he went out of his way to make sure I was happy and satisfied. I've stayed mostly at best westerns on my long motorcycle trip, and I must say they are really motorcycle friendly, if you're traveling by bike I highly recommend staying at best Western
Beware patrons. Here's a heads up, the manager at THIS Best Western is one of the rudest human beings I've ever run across in my travels and hotel stays. If common courtesy, above average customer service, pleasant demeanor and memorable stay is what you're interested, avoid interacting with the manager. I've made a conscious choice not to ever choose THIS hotel as a hotel option for me when visiting Pine Bluff. Secondly, they advertise a pool however the pool wasn't available. Beware patrons. Third, the hotel had an obvious unpleasant odor from the very second you walk through the door (maybe pest control, maybe nearby paper mill, maybe years of less than satisfactory housekeeping.
The unusual smell someone said is the smell of new paint and new floor tile and grout. We had all new furniture and bedding , new flooring everywhere. Great rates ,clean comfortable and felt safe , night front desk lady very nice. Shower temp could have been set a little warmer, must have anti scald as sink was hot enough.
No longer a Best Western. ?? Slapping a little paint on the walls ain't going to help this hotel. Hotel has a unusual smell to it. Staff no longer has name tags. Heater did not work, 29 degrees outside. ??Had to take a Luke warm shower as there was virtually no hot water. ?? Breakfast was a disaster only has sausage gravy, no biscuits, no sausage, no bacon and no eggs. Done with their incompetence. Don't stay here.
The hotel was clean, but It smelled of cigarette smoke. The mattresses were very bouncy. The breakfast was sad. The few things on there were all microwaved foods. We will definitely choose a different hotel when we pass back through.
