    « Basic hotel »

This business hotel operates within a commercial building (hotel lobby at level 6) in a central part of Petaling Jaya and has shops and restaurants below. The hotel also has a restaurant. However transport wise, there isn't a bus or taxi stop at your doorstep. The building reception can call a taxi for you, you can also use uber or grabcar app. For those who drive, there is complementary parking at basement. The room and bed is clean and comfortable and bathroom well equipped. TV channels are also adequate.

« Clean and Well Kept But Small »

Stayed in Nov 2016 over the weekend. 1. Room is fresh and clean. 2. Mattress, pillows are comfortable and clean. 3. Toilet are clean and well maintain 4. Hot shower and pressure is good (plus point) 5. Room a bit cramped 6. Asked for front view not the back view. You can't open the blinds if need privacy. 7. Location to mall is walking distance but nothing much to shout about 8. AC is good and quiet 9. The mall in the hotel itself mostly vacant. 10. Pool close at 7 pm 11. Price a bit pricey Overall clean but pricey and location wise depend on individual. Hope this brief updates helps and please vote good or bad for my improvement. Thanks and enjoy your holidays. « Great, good location »

Good budget hotel. Rooms simple but clean and tidy. Location excellent for nearby businesses. Good restaurants close by also. Housekeeping a little inconsistent, no hand towels on second day, and no laundry bag or checklist left by the attendant. Small issues. Front desk staff excellent, polite and efficient. Check in and check out very swift with no problems. Will definitely make Best Western PJ my first choice on next trip.

    « comfy small room »

it was a normal experience to stay at this hotel. the lobby was at 5or6th floor at some shooping mall. surounding by alot of restaurant and street food, supermarket, very convience. the swimming pool also nice :)

« Value for money rooms »

Large size and beautiful setup for comfort. The rate is definitely a plus point. The ground floor of the hotel within the same building has some cafes and bars to offer night relaxation but otherwise the area is a bit quiet if you dont plan to walk over to another mall Jaya33 down the road. Across from Jaya33 is another mall also called Jaya... and next this mall is a gander IT which has some good buys. Not ideal for those who are looking for a shopping holiday in Selangor.

    « A new hotel »

We stayed one night at their standard room which cost us A$74.00 per night in Nov. 2016. It is located in a new shopping mall ( not yet fully completed yet), and their reception office is on the 6th floor. As the whole complex is still under construction, it looks unsafe to stroll around at night or early in the morning. Checking was smooth. However it was a big surprise as no one seemed to know the location of SS 2, P.J.when an enquiry was raised. It seems all staff are not local and might be recruited from somewhere other than P.J. The room was clean, and had everything guest wanted.Other than that not much to comment. The location is far away from busy centre where you could get eateries. Don't think we will come back again.

« Hotel with shopping mall »

Stayed for 1 night. The hotel is near to the Armada Hotel, University Hospital and University Malaya.Attached to a shopping mall. Easily reached by Federal Highway or Damansara Highway (few minutes drive from Eastin Hotel). The lobby was at level 6. Not very convenient for me, I need to carry all my luggage from the basement parking to reach the lobby. The parking was a joint parking with the mall. So one need to be really alert on where to park for the ease of your entrance to the lobby and not to get lost in the mall. The lobby was a bit to small and luckily there were no group check in on that day. The room relatively too small just nice to fit one person and the most two, no space to roam around freely if your are with your couple/spouse. Toilets was not really clean. You can see stubborn stains on the wall and floor. The room was floored with vinyl tiles and not carpet so you may see stubborn stains as well to the extend shoe print. Breakfast spread was just sufficient with the local dishes and bread and toast.

    « Modern Room »

Clean, modern room and good facilities with reasonable rates. Easy to get variety of food from nearby restaurant. Spacious parking area. Friendly staff. I would highly recommend for friends and family stay.

« Great place to stay. »

I was in KL for a sporting event at University of Malaya. Best Western was close to the venue, as well as being close enough to the center of KL for an easy commute. The hotel itself was clean and quiet, with many amenities onsite or nearby. The only negative that I have about the whole experience, is that the pool closes at 7pm (which is very early for a 4? hotel in KL) to cater for the rooftop restaurant's dinner clientele.

    « Smelly Common lift »

Visited friend whom is staying inside this hotel. Took a lift to level 6 (lobby) vey unpleasant smell like curry inside the lift and the carpet was dirty. The toilet at the lobby floor for squatting design is too high, not user friendly at all..the first impression can see workmanship of interior r rough. Luckily went up to the hotel room the floor r clean. Room r quite small.

    « Convenient location, clean-ish, new »

Conveniently located near federal highway, making it easy to travel to KL, PJ and Subang Jaya. Hotel is connected to Centrestage Mall which is a real let down. The mall is practically empty save a few restaurants and cafes. Luckily, Jaya 33 is just 250m away. The hotel itself is rather new. Rooms are a bit small but clean. However, the 2 coffee cups in my room still had tea/coffee stains on them. Breakfast buffet was okay. Had some variety of cuisines and small changes in offerings in the 2 days I was there. There's also a roof-top bar and pool. Good views. Lobby is at level 6 and there's not much hotel service at the ground floor. (the concierge desk is not always manned). Amenities nearby: Convenience store, 4-5 restaurants, 3 cafes, 1 pub. Staff attitudes/service were below par. Except for the front desk/reception, hardly anyone smiled nor greeted, and when I asked a simple question (once in English and once in Bahasa) at the breakfast buffet, one wait staff just stared back blankly.

    « Clean and comfortable »

Our room was quite new, modern and clean but small. However the layout was clever and was workable. The room rate came with breakfast and I was surprised it was better than expected. There was a decent selection and the staff were quick and efficient. Would I stay here again? Probably not, the main reason being the lobby is located on level 6. When we arrived at the entrance it was a shopping mall and missed the signage and for a minute did not know where to go. There was a concierge desk but it was not manned. We also had to share the lift with other shoppers in the mall which is not ideal.

« Well placed hotel for business trips »

This hotel is well placed for a business trip as it has lots of local restaurants and bars all within walking distance. There are shops to walk around and a couple of supermarkets if you wish to stock up on essentials. Nice pool area and the roof top bar has a decent selection. Rooms are clean and compact. Restaurant has good selection and well priced, their India specials are really well priced and very tasty. Breakfast buffet is very comprehensive.

« Small Room, with poor attitude front desk »

I have stayed in the hotel for 4 weeks, so pretty much to share Let me summarize my experience Pros 1. Location 2. With all the required amenities 3. Good english speaking staffs at Reception 4. Relatively pocket friendly Cons 1. Extremely small rooms, never seen in my entire traveling experience, smaller than those European hotels 2. Though the restaurant is full for complementary buffet breakfast almost every day, I have rarely seen that, they have changed the menu, it is the same almost everyday, and the options are very limited 3. Hotel does not entertain in room daining, so forget about it... Even I tried my level best to order, I had very bad experience with the Staff at the "in room dining", he almost asked me to get out, if I still ask for in room dining 4. Worst housekeeping ever seen, those guys at the housekeeping are useless, except few.. every time I enter my room to see the dirty floor and empty toiletries... They dont understand/speak English/Malay/Chinese, House keeping does not have Nail clipper and/or Scissors 5. Most of the time the Reception shows "I don't care attitude", which irritates me the most... The moment, I ask for a help/need/support, they have a readymade answer, that; "I am sorry, I cant help" with the rude attitude. 5.The lift is busy all the time, and many time they dont stop at level 8, (where I stayed) ... Very bad experience... 7. Jockeys at the Concierge does not allow you to stop your Cars beyond 30 seconds, often they dont even allow you to stop the car to getdown... Very irritating... 8. Small gym for this size of the Hotel, always busy. Over all very average hotel , Dont expect much... Thanks for reading

    « comfortable except... »

Stayed in late June 2016 with my family. We booked 2 connecting rooms. One of the rooms' toilet had sewage smell from the drainage hole on the floor. We covered it with sanitary bag(laid flat) and dustbin on top of it to block the hole. Other than that everything was good.

    « Value for money »

I have been staying at Best Western ever since it started its operation. Most of my visits are both leisure and business. Their rooms are very comfortable and value for money. Their standard are same or even better than Eastin. Rooms are clean and comfortable. One thing I notice is that their toilets are getting worn out compare to previously. Still clean but can see that most of the stuff are starting or going to spoil. One of the things I am kind of disappointed about is that although I am a frequent guest(every month I will stay for 2-3nights) they still does not recognise me and does not even upgrade my rooms.

« This is a notch above budget hotel »

Some traveler call this place a budget hotel, but the room is well done and spanking new. Lobby check in is on the 6th floor, there's a spa, a good chinese restaurant but pricey, and many western food restaurant on the ground floor. But the shopping area is desserted, no shops and empty food court. So if you are staying long, don't expect to be dining every day there. For the price, I would say it's way better than others budget hotel costing about 20% cheaper, while on par with those higher end 4 star hotel rooms. Lastly, the carpark is very hard to drive in and out, and the hotel lift is in the middle of the carpark at B1. Didn't booked the breakfast, so can't comment. But a good place to stay if you are moving around SS2, Sunway and mid valley area.

    « a great 15 night stay »

We stayed at the Best Western for 15 nights whilst visiting family in P.J. We were treated well by the entire staff of the hotel. Our room a dble with queen sized bed was fine., ample wardrobe and storage space for our belongings. Thank you to the pleasant young men who looked after our room..changed the bed regularly and gave us clean towels regularly. We had no problem with the breakfast.....plenty of choices.....if you wanted a hot was hot. We had early and late problem..The staff in the breakfast room were also pleasant and friendly. The pool is perfectly kept......again the staff were there to bring us drinks etc., with a smile. A couple of times during our stay we needed help.....the safe.....the t.v. a call to reception and someone was there within 5 minutes. This is a 3 star hotel.....and a good one....thanks to all the staff at the Best Western for being so friendly and helpful.

« budget hotel with decent room and okay service »

It was a decent hotel with okay service. I was in Malaysia for a business trip and the room was okay for its price. Staff needs to be more attentive with guest requests. I requested for a "sewing kit", did not get the requested kit after one hour. I called again afterwards. A few minutes later, someone brought a "shaving kit". I didn't bother to ask again. Other than this mishap, the stay was okay. The room was decent but a bit cramped if you are used to a larger space. The breakfast buffet could have a bit more variation in my opinion. As in most reviews, it is a budget hotel which is just "Okay".

    « budget hotel »

it is an average hotel in spite of its price the room is quite decent, however they need to improve on their reception because you will not be assisted by a porter. check the cleanliness under the bed and you will find it to be not so clean. the breakfast is not enticing if you are looking for a good food, but considering the price... the view deck is alright, the pool and the Jacuzzi is located. the food though at the roof deck is alright. this hotel is quiet new yet so maybe after this comment, they will improve.

« Not a good place for full day seminar. »

We had 4 days full day training here on 6th, 7th 13th &14th of August. We had 100 participants which 70 % are Muslim. Though we have 2 hours break ( 12MD - 2pm) but zohor prayer start at 1:20pm. Sadly surau at 5th level can occupy 4-5 guests at one time. Too small! But later we found out that another surau located at level 3A. Today 5 of us went there to perform solat. While I m praying I heard very clearly that one staff questioned one of my team. Why we are there, don't we know that there are a surau at level 5, what are we doing in the hotel, what event we are attending and informed us to go to level 5. Once I m finished, I informed her that we are definitely not happy with a small surau which is not enough to cater a big group meeting. If one time, only 4-5 people can perform solat, how long it will takes for 50-80 persons? After all at that level 3A, there are not signboard that the surau allocated for staffs only. And our feedback to our organiser ; please! We don't want to have anyone meeting at this hotel. Let it be our very first time and last too. Anyway we are happy with free WiFi, cheap parking fee, clean toilet and nice meeting room at the roof top. Please have a better signboard for your staff surau. NO SHOE ALLOWED is not enough for your guest to understand. After all nothing special about this surau for us to go there rather than to perform our solat. We just want to solat. That's all.

« My recent stay at Best Western in Kuala Lumpur @ Malaysia »

Good hotel, peaceful stay, nice location. Staff is very good and want to make your stay comfortable and good. I have been staying here for most of my Malaysia trips and prefer whenever possible to stay here. This trip during check in and check our found that the reception had a foul smell from the same floor kitchen of the restaurant. Internet has also been not good which makes at times your business trips stays here not so good.

« Good for the Night Stay »

Average hotel but can't compare much as was on Business Trip. Only to utilise the room from 2300hrs-0700hrs for days worth rest. Room were sufficient for night stay. Had rather an annoying night issues with the room, where I experienced power tripped throughout the night. Raised my concerned to the reception where it got fixed, along with the room where it's rather warm even with the AC set to the lowest setting available 20 degree Celsius. Breakfast was average, but still able to filled the tummy to last till lunch meeting. Access though-out the building with the elevator where rather slow either from the Basement Carpark to concierge/reception or to rooms. Probably due to being shared with the mall as the hotel is located above the mall.

« Best hotel in PJ KL »

Almost 25 days i've stayed there with my mom and aunty to recovery her health... New hotel with cozy&nice view from our room.. The staff very helpfully&friendly! And the food are very recomended!! The pool very safe for children and adult.. Around hotel have many restaaurant and mart open 24 hours..n near jaya shopping market (10 minute walking).. To UMMC is about 7-10 minute by taxi (rm 7-12 by grab car).. Ive been visit this hotel twice (25days&4days)and alwayssssss very2 good service????.. I will recommend this hotel who want to visit ummsc/hospital..while u recovery ur health,u can swimming, gym, sauna&jacuzi in this hotel&enjoy the view in rooftop ????

    « Worthy stay! »

Spacious room with great city view. Buffet breakfast is great with variety of choices. The location is near to everywhere in KL. Within 15-20 minutes drive to MidValley, 1U, IKEA. There's a few international cuisines available on the ground floor.

« Good Value, Good Service »

It's nice, modern, effective hotel. Does the key things well, our only feedback would be the pool and gym are probably too small to cope at busy times. The gym stays open longer than published but is still well used - esp at weekends. We stayed a week and were happy with the room, wifi was fine, the restaurant was pretty empty in the evening but the food was of a high standard. Good breakfast range too. The staff very courteous and look after you. Wifi may be slow if you use for other than emails and are expecting it to match your home service! We'd go back, hope the gym has been extended next year ;-)

    « Clean rooms »

Clean and comfortable rooms. Bathroom design a plus small yet efficient. Some in house dining options available. No room service offered. Eateries and convenience store located on ground floor of the hotel building. Free parking - ticket to be verified by front office

    « Nice and clean »

If you are on business trip, this is a good place to stay. I got a clean room, modern with fast wifi. The staff was nice and they responded to my complain immidiately after i found the tv network cable tv was not working and instead offer to change to another room. Recommended.

« Stay at Best Western PJ in Malaysia »

this is a good hotel with nice amenities and food options. the breakfast spread is areally good. the location of the hotel is good. the internet service is pathetic and even after sharing it with the hotel no action is done even when you return for the next stay.

    « It's just ok. »

There isn't much of a security, given that it's quite accessible, a key card tap is not required to get to the guestrooms floors. The rooftop pool is quite ok :) Room are small. NO baby cot. Their free wifi is ok. Convenient, accessible to food and movies.

« Nice with minor weakness »

Nice, clean and had generous service hotel at Petaling Jaya. Also near from my office. But had limited option for watching tv channel & in night had distrubing sound from celling (like echo sound from speaker)

    « Okay for shortstay »

The room size is average. My room window was facing another building so there's nothing much to view. Wi-fi service is quite stable. I was having problem with the in-room entertainment system at first, but it becomes ok after restarting the system. Check-in & check-out process was easy. If u are driving, please be careful because entrance to basement parking is a bit narrow.

    « Best Western i City-first impression »

my family decided to visit the new Best Western hotel at i City; in fact, i City itself which was in our vicinity in s7 Shah Alam. we parked the car and went in. the lobby was small and reflected its moderate size as probably a 4-star hotel in a tourist attraction. went up to the restaurant which was deserted. we were the only guests then. ordered ala carte dishes like fish and chip and chicken chop. verdict: very poor and not worth the price we paid. Best Western is a growing brand in Malaysia, and its location at i City should be its star attraction, but the food disappointed. seriously needs a revamp as our first impression wasnt favourable at all.

    « Giant hotel factory »

I spent one week at this hotel for a training workshop with my husband. I would not recommend the hotel for tourists as the neighborhood is not great for anything (restaurants were mediocre or insanely expensive) and too far from the train to walk. For the training itself the place was great as the staff was responsive and competent, the training room light and airy and next to a rooftop bar for our breaks. The hotels advertises itself as ''iconic midclass.' We never got the iconic part - midclass is true. The ordinary rooms are too small for 2 people and hard to manoeuver in with two suitcases. The place caters to mass Chinese tourism. If your timing is bad and a new group of tourists comes in you have to wait a long time for the elevators. The restaurant is then also crowded if you time it wrong. As a transit place, if on your route, it would be OK. If you can spend a bit more, go to the Majestic in KL

    « Small room »

The room was very small with the price paid.the room was a budget hotel standard but price was so steep like a 4-5stars hotel.. were disappointed.for travellers with family avoid this place.the sky pool also small.i don't find this suitable for kids at all.the place definitely not as the same as pictures posted.

« budget hotel to put a night or two »

This is a new budget hotel in PJ area which offer clean room and good location. Dont expect much from this hotel if you are looking for one. Fit for budget traveller whom only require a bed and room to sleep. It is clean with basic ammenities. I have paid via hotel voucher and expree check-out, but they still call me after 3pm saying i have yet to check-out, better coordination needed I suppose

« Good location, VERY small room »

Room is too small, 11sqm, that's just enough for one small bed and one luggage. If you're a shopper, don't book this hotel. No space to love around or put your luggage. This hotel is perfect for a single person who carries one luggage and plan to be out and about. Avoid if you have children.

    « best western PJ »

Hotel is nice and breakfast is good. quite far from town but hotel can call taxi for you. i dont feel safe as i saw people loitering at 9th fl because the lift card access is not working. anybody can go up the hotel and no security.

    « Distinctly Average »

The double rooms in this hotel are best described as functional but small. The hotel reception is on the 6th floor and the three lifts servicing the hotel can be a bit of a wait. The hotel attracts large groups of foreign tourists less culturally 'considerate' to other visitors (being pc here not naming any particular nation as a bit rude pushing to the front of queues and shouting to each other in the corridors of the hotel at 2:00 am!) If you are a light sleeper, you aren't going to appreciate this one. Breakfast is a bit basic but there are ample eateries in the area with a better ambiance and reasonably priced for dining. There is a rooftop restaurant but I cannot comment on it as I did not visit it. Smoking rooms are available and there is underground parking for those arriving by car.

« Thankful its just for a night »

I thought this was the Best Western i-City so I guess book wrongly on website when apparently the one in i-City wasn't available. Pictures here look nice but when you explore closer its not that fantastic on the finishing. Budget hotel standard perhaps. Breakfast was awful with salty dishes and coffee was a disgrace. My bad, should have book hilton which is just nearby.

« Nice stay, good value »

Room size were okay, breakfast is good. It is about 15 mins walk from the LRT station. There's free wifi which is pretty good. There's also shopping center nearby and a few restaurants nearby for guests to grab some food

    « Good location »

This hotel has a great location if you're on business trip and your office is within the area. There are a few restaurants nearby. The restaurants that are at the same building of the hotel are not that great, I recommend to walk a bit further just opposite of Plaza33 and you'll find a much better choices. I booked the suites room which was great. The size is very big though very empty. And the funny thing is that I got a big bathroom, but no bathtub. So there's just shower, sink and toilet. That's it. Even no shower room, it's practically just a bit bathroom. Bedroom is quite small even in the suites room. The "living room" is much bigger and has more space. Amenities are standard. Don't expect too much even if you book suites room. Breakfast is awful. Limited choice and tasteless. I stayed here 3 nights but only had breakfast here once. Major issue here is the thin wall. Most of the guests who stay here, considering that it's a 3 stars hotel, are not that 'well educated' probably. They shout loudly in the middle of the night, they talked in the hallway with door open, they smoke in the hallway. And worst thing is, when my friend and I told them that we're trying to sleep and they disturbed us, they just played dumb and continue to make ruckus. We called the hotel staff to do something, but no... nothing happened. Not even a single person came to our floor to manage it.

    « Business only »

Rooms size small, more of business hotel, in at the evenings and out early mornings. Value for money if booked early. Website rates are high compared to other sites. But rates have been increasing over the last few months, making alternative hotels affordable, ie more choices for the price range, when having to deal with China tourists. Housekeeping varies. Sometimes toiletries are given, sometimes have to call to request. Toilets can be smelly due to poor construction. Breakfast spread is decent, but careful when ordering eggs, cos the cook seems inexperienced. However, friendly staff all round. One thing bad about this hotel is the number of package tourist, esp from China. In the mornings they choke up the lifts. As well as crowd round the lobby area on the 6th floor. Wifi can be an issue on certain times of the evening

    « Good value »

Not luxury hotel, but clean and quite. The location is ok, and very close to a mall. Breakfast is good for value as well. The disadvantage is too many tourists especially Chinese. Normally need to wait for 5 mins to get a lift to room or ground floor.

    « ???????? »

The location isn't good but is quite cost efficient. A taxi charge was inexpensive, so equipment had value of some level also was new, so movement could have time comfortably. Breakfast is also the decent level. When thinking at the price, there was a profitable sense.

    « Good Hotel »

We stayed longer cause visting Family near by and i have to say i was realy happy here. Nothing missed in the room, maybe the Room was not that big, but dosen't realy matter, i dont spend my day in there. Staff was friendly and attentive: simple easy thing: be nice, polite and friendly to them in the first place and it will come back the same! I liked The Rooftop-Pool and Bar/Restaurant next to. We joined the BBQ once on Saturday evening at the Rooftop: Tasty food, nice sitting. We had breakfast that was also okay. Rich variation of asian food but still also some continental choise. Wifi worked perfect. I would and will come back !

    « Comfortable »

Overall, a nice place to stay if you need to be at PJ. Clean and quiet. The price is reasonable. But too bad the mall attached to the hotel is currently only about 5% occupancy. There is nothing much to do if you have free time. Not sure if they have a spa, would be nice addition.

    « Bad Service »

    1) Great location. Issues: 2) Bad service: I arrived in the afternoon when the reception was busy at all but the staff also cannot never greet with customer. I can't understand why the staff Carmen at the reception was so impatient and give the black face. 3) reception: when i come back at night, i was asking the staff izzit possible to assist me for tomorrow check out for extend until 5pm , he said ok and assist me to solve question and problem. The next day i supposedly to check out when i finish my breakfast. I was a bit worry , so i going to reception counter to double confirm with the staff for my extend few hours to check out but the staff told me they cannot give me to extend ! For that time , i was very angry and disappointed to this hotel. This is terribly bad service hotel!! If you have a choice, pls. do not book!! Staff in reception is terribly bad in service. Totally unprofessional!! Feel sad for the owner of this hotel as it will only get bad to worst!!

« Quite ok! Really value for money »

My first time here. I choose this because it is so close to my office. So it's really convenience for me. They said this is a new hotel, so that's what i can feel it. New and fresh room, even i still smell the new furnitures. What surprised me was, the room space was soo small and tight. I'm not expected this since while im travelling, i only found very small space room hotel mostly in Hongkong. So i didn't expected in other country. That's why i understand why the price is so cheap. Yes, it's really cheap from the average. It's trully value for money. Front office were good, breakfast is okey, taste good and much variant. I didn't have a chance to try their rooftop pool, just saw it in the photo i found at the elevator. Looks good. Maybe next time.

« Good but not fantastic »

We've staid there around 11 days it was a nice hotel and got good stuffs , and clean room. But it's food are mainly Chinese or indian . The pool and jacuzzi are good but they are not big enough but because they are on the roof of the building while you seating there or swimming you could see a nice view of petaling jaya .

« Affordable stay, service needs to be improved »

Hotel staffs need to pay more attention on guest's specific request. Stated a small specific request (one more pair of slipper as there is only one pair of slipper in a superior queen room for two adults) during booking. But it has not been taken note. Checked in this hotel on April 16, room 1125 is having problem of door closure (which it is difficult to open or close it).

    « Good location... »

Pros - Rooms are modern & clean, flat screen TV, good hot shower available, good breakfast variety, mini refrigerator, walking distance to Jaya shopping mall, Digital mall Cons - Noisy, foul smell from bathroom (not very bad but need to addressed), no access to TV USB port, limited TV channels.

« Overall is good, need to improve on 'software' aspect »

Happened to book this accommodation since it's near to my course venue. Not really centrally located and quite a long walking distance from the nearest LRT station. Staff at reception seems understaffed and stressed due to unrelenting number of visitors which resulted in longer check-in duration. Nothing much to shop at in-house malls are most of them are vacated which is not surprising due to it's location itself. In house facilities are great, no complaints about it

    « "Great hotel,very efficient & friendly staff" »

Check-in was tremendously efficient and friendly. Warm welcoming by the staff name Nurul. She's very attractive & cheerful. Hotel room was great and superb clean eventhough a bit small. No complaints about daily breakfast provided. Overall my stay was good and will come back again to stay in Best Western.

« Location wise is just OK but staffs are not friendly »

Had a night stay for business. For people who needs to be in Petaling Jaya, location wise is good and it has restaurants and convenient stores within the vicinity. However, the receptionists are unfriendly. You won't get to see a smile from them during check-in and check-out (different persons). During check-in, I waited for more than half an hour to get a room. The lifts are not properly optimized and therefore making the wait worse. During check-out, the receptionist didn't even say thanks or got me to sign anything (although the room has been pre-paid) when it's done and I didn't even know that it's done. So, I politely asked her if it's done and she gave me a fierce stare and said "Ya! It's done!" with a strong tone. The receptionists really need some good attitude training. The room's bathroom drainage was clogged and it was flooded after the shower. However, the maintenance guys came and cleared it up. They're so much friendlier and polite with smiles on their faces. Keep that up.

    « Work trip »

Room is smaller than most Malaysian hotel. However, it's clean and everything is functioning. Beds are comfortable. Wifi works well. So we had a pleasant stay. Location is good with lots of shops n eateries in the area. Conceige service is great - got our taxi bookings for travels to work place and airport. By the way, it's only about an hour taxi ride from KLIA airport. It cost RM $75 budget taxi booked at airport taxi counter. It's more convenient to take a cab to the hotel from KLIA airport. Some minor things to note: 1. Hotel reception & check - in is on the 6th floor of the building. You can only use 3 lifts on your right to get the reception. The rest of the other lifts does not bring you there. 2. Walls are thin, we can hear our neighbour plugging and unplugging their wall power point outlet. 3. Toiletries kit, shaving set are given upon request. There is a wall mounted hairdryer in the room. 4. Comforter / blanket is thin with no extra ones in the room. So do request for another one if needed. Aircon was powerful and good when we were there.

    « noisy »

room is clean, staff is nice, breakfast is acceptable standard. however my room at 7th floor facing those aircon exhaust, the whole night i slept with the humming sound and really disturbing. and every morning when i passed through the lobby to the breakfast place, i had to tolerate a group of really noisy guests. the wifi is super unreliable, i would say only 10% of the time i got connection in my room. won't stay here again.

« No wifi and unprofessional receptionist »

Upon my check in, she didnt even ask about my preferred room and she sent me to smoking room!!! Then i was changed to nonsmoking and the room is still smell of indian spice, unpleasant to me. Wifi connection is badly weak, i couldnt work via wifi but from my mobile hotspot. This happens to all room because my colleage's room has the same problem, even they tried to chang but still worse. Breakfast is limited and just fair enough. Even though the room size is average. Hearing chinese noisy group. I dont think i will stay here agin due tomthe proble of wifi connection.

    « nice hotel »

the first encounter is most important, more so at the reception. The staff should smile more often, it doesn't cost a single cent yet the effect can leave a lasting good impression. i arrived early at 1 pm and was told the room was not ready (i knew all too well about the check in time at 3pm, and just trying my luck since my flight arrived early). The staff promised to call me when the room is ready alas no call was made until i enquired at the reception one hour later, however this time around the reception was manned by new staff (i guess new shift and changeover of duty) and i was told my room was ready. It was not a big deal but a promise is a promise no matter how unimportant a guest like me maybe (of course i am no 'mat salleh' let alone VIP, it is something that i am quite used to ). Otherwise my short stay was quite nice. InsyaAllah given a chance i will stay again at Best Western PJ

« Stay at Best Western »

I have been constantly staying at the BW in PJ for 8 months now. In each of my trip I think something is missing. This trip I have my neighbour sin the floors shouting and talking loudly at late night early morning. The in room internet has been deteriorating in each and every trip. I feel housekeeping is lax and once when I left the clean room call button on still they missed the cleaning.

« Small but has everything you need »

I stay there for a friend's wedding at plaza 33. The room is small but completed with things you may need. They even provide dental kit upon request. As we forgot to bring toothpaste but really doesnt feel like buying a big tub from the 24 hours mart downstairs. The swimming pool is also very small but i really like it that it was beside their bar but when i got up there's already 4 people swimming in the pool and a bunch of kids behind me. So i gave up swimming because it wil be too crowded. Theres even a jacuzzi tub beside the pool but its not functional that day. Not sure why. Have no chance to try out their breakfast. The bed is a bit too hard. The shower area is also very small n rain shower isn't powerful enough. So you're really just standing under a drizzling "rain" . but other than that. Im happy n satisfied with the price i pay for this room.

    « Value for money »

Lifts didn't require room keycard to access guest room floors. Was given a guest room on Level 9, had strangers loitering around guest room floor. Points were not credited into membership card accordingly, despite having booked via official app. Room is clean, and value for money.

    « Noisy PRC tourists »

Stayed at the Best Western Petaling Jaya from 23-24 March 2016 for a business trip. The hotel is located smack in the middle of Petaling Jaya which is about an hour's taxi ride from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The Centrestage mall occupies the first few levels of the building the hotel is housed in. Even though you can see the words BEST WESTERN emblazoned at the top of the building, finding the hotel entrance can be a little bit tricky. The signages are not the most prominent and rather obscured by the ones of shops and restaurants in the mall. The reception is on the 6th floor of the building. One has to walk through some rather dinghy looking hallways to get to the ground floor lift lobby. I arrived at 10am, way before the official check-in time of 2pm. The receptionist on duty very brusquely told me if there are no rooms available and I want to check in early it will cost me an extra RM100. I didn't have time to ponder the logic of that statement before she asked me for my passport and disappeared behind the counter. It turned out there is a room available and I did not have to pay the extra RM100 - I decided to let the logic-defying statement slide. My room on the 12th floor was actually quite nice. Everything worked and was new and clean except for the free wifi. It was slow and depending on which spot in the room you are, you may not get a signal. Don't expect extravagant luxury since this is a Best Western after all. Already happy to have a comfortable and clean bed to rest after a whole day of business meetings. I had a quick glance at the pool and gym in the rooftop. The gym is small, really small. It could barely contain the few stationary bikes and machines. The pool seems nice enough, but its size resembles that of an elongated bathtub. There seemed to be an inordinately large number of PRC tourists on my floor. I was woken up a few times in the middle of the night by them yelling in the hallway. Their unmistakable accent echoed on for bursts of 5 to 10 minutes each time. I guess that means the room doors are not the most soundproof in the world. Breakfast was served in a restaurant on the 6th floor right beside the reception. The selection of food was rather limited with, curiously, a full section devoted to Indian dishes. Service staff at the restaurant was really polite. Checking out was easy and fuss free. A very loud instruction into the walkie-talkie for someone to go check my room, a swipe of my credit card and a receipt was handed to me. Will I stay here again? I don't know. The location is great as it is very near to my office in KL but the sheer number of PRC tourists and the din they create would make me think twice.

« Service counter phone has issue (I-CARE CENTRE) »

I have never encountered reception counter which doesn't pick up or even hang up call. They are quite short-handed. Room cleanliness is not bad though. Slightly crowded lift, not able to handle number of visitors during peak period.

« Simple but need to improve on service »

In my opinion, if its is a two or three stars hotel, we are expected to get the same grade of service. I booked this hotel through, and for RM199.00 it included breakfast for two. It had no hidden charges, and the deal was already included GST. I stayed here in March and decided to try another hotel in PJ that I haven't stayed before. First, about the parking. It was bad entrance, as I had to turn almost 90 degrees from the ticket booth. It is quite dangerous, because the drivers could easily scratch their cars on the wall. Same as coming out from the parking area. The parking lots are many, most of the time we could easily find a parking spot. Then, the lobby of the hotel is on the 6th floor. The guests must read the directory carefully. I had a bad check in experience and I think the staff who helped me with my check in was very unfriendly. I didn't had the welcome feeling, (well it is a three star hotel). I didn't get non smoking floor or room as requested. The room is relatively small but clean. The bathroom was quite smelly, it think it was due to the sewage system or drainage system. The hotel sandals were only one pair. All dental kits, shower caps, cotton buds are free but must request from the housekeeping. I think the hotel try to cut costs. When I called front desk or housekeeping, no one answered until 3-4 attempts. The breakfas was cheap but too average. Since I am eating healthy diet, I end up with eating nothing. No whole meal bread, no soft boil or half boiled eggs. The only good thing about this place is the location. It is a walking distance form section 14 PJ commercial area. There are many restaurants which offer variety types of cuisines nearby. I will come back here for its location. The internet speed was quite reasonable.

    « Decent Hotel »

The hotel has friendly staff. Buffet breakfast has a decent spread too. Room was nicely furnished but the corridors have a rather odd smell as do the rooms. Location is good as there are a couple of shopping centers that are walking distance.

    « Average Hotel »

Put up a night there due to some work in PJ. Actually, it was my third stay. Everything from concierge to room cleanliness was just average. Few things need further improvements are, 1. Dangerous car park entrance. U may hit ur car against the wall once u enter the car park if u not paying 100 % attention. 2. Shower was pathetic if u staying in higher floor due to terrible water pressure. 3. Room cleanliness need further inspections from supervisor, I can see some leftover tissue underneath the bed from previous guests. To keep this hotel going, I hope best western would further make the price more affordable.

    « Good Hotel at 200 ringgits »

Reasonably priced and a great hotel. The rooms begin from the 6th floor to the roof top 15th floor of the building. Take rooms facing the road side and especially top floors the view is serene and you can see the whole of the city. The lounge on the top floor is serene. We were group of friends and we enjoyed talking through the night there

    « Best Western PJ »

It is a 3 star hotel with reasonable price. Free WiFi access, nice Roof Top Pool. Staff are friendly. One thing need to be improve is the food, a bit spicy and it should be more variety to cater both International and domestic guest.

    « 'Best Western' »

This is new hotel and reception service is amazingly good. Although it is 3 stars and room is very good. The room décor is modern. Unlike most other hotels, it does not give that warm feeling. The in-room entertainment and tv channel selection is IPTV which is great. Given the price of the rooms, I think it would be a fair exchange. On the rooftop there was a gym, swimming pool and roof-top bar/restaurant. We spent a lot of time here. Will definitely repeat our stay with Best Western for my future KL trips.

« 4 stars facilities with budget stars service »

Rooms are new furnished and very clean.Latest designed and with high taste concept.Booked 2 rooms. Requested joint rooms almost 3 weeks through hotel com. But rejected. Separated away from my grandsons. The kids loved the swimming pool but it was closed for the quests. The hotel staffs busy decorating for their night functions . Quite unfair for kids. Quests should be given the priority. Hope the incident won't happened again. Anyway the next morning , the kids managed to enjoyed their swimming. Spacious parking lot and lot of restaurants nearby.

    « Budget Excellence »

If you are on a budget, this is good value. The rooms were a bit small for my liking, tight spaces around the beds, but clean, comfortable beds, with all the basic amenities. Nice roof top pool to cool off in. Nice in-house restaurant for brekkie, with malls nearby and mid-valley shopping just 15 mins away by cab. 24 hours convenience store downstairs and a few coffee shops as well.

« Service and cleanliness need to improve »

Overall stay is okay. But the services and cleanliness need to be improved. The room was a bit dusty and was not clean thoroughly. There is only one pair of slipper provided in a double room (2 persons staying) and need to request for one more slippers every time. I have been staying this hotel quite frequent but the same issue is repeating. After having this issue happened for 2 times, i have requested for one more slippers during check in and the front desk staff said it will be sent to my room. I have been waiting in room more than 30 minutes but no one send the slipper to us. I have to walk out from the room and get from a Housekeeping staff who is cleaning the floor corridor. Hope this issue will not happen again during my next stay.

    « Definite revisit. »

Stayed 3 nights. Pretty excellent in all sense. Hotel clean, service good, location good and value for money. Check in was fast. Breakfast was ok based on the room rates. Overall it was excellent and it was an enjoyable stay.

« Good location in PJ »

Stayed 1 night with family. Hotel is new. Have to take an elevator to reach lobby level. There's several restaurants & a convenient store located downstairs. Building still largely unoccupied. Sighting the hotel car park can be tricky. Valet parking is a rip off. Check in & out was smooth. Room was small but very clean. Near Jaya shopping centre.

« Would I stay again? Absolutely yes! »

This is a relatively new hotel in Section 13 of Petaling Jaya (PJ). The building is new so still gaining new tenants, but several good restaurnats and coffee shops have opened already. I like the location as its walking distance to a large variety of restaurants in the building itself and just 100m to busy Section 14. The hotel entrance itself is not glamorous as the Lobby is on Level 6. Everything works, and the staff are attentive. The bed was extremely comfortable and the standard room quite spacious. Some of the fittings are a bit cheap with rust marks already appearing on metal fittings. I'm being a picky as this is not a 5 star hotel, but a very good 4 star. I stayed 2 nights and paid USD$47.50 per night. That's OK given its a new hotel, fresh, clean and well managed to a western country standard. There are other 'local' hotels nearby priced at this level, but the location is not as good and they are now quite dated. Best Western is a very good choice if you want PJ. I ran a function here and the staff were great. I ate at the Indonesian buffet for lunch and the quality of the food was excellent and the taste was authentic and reasonably priced. They made me a great cappuccino too. Good job! The free wifi was fast and accessible throughout the hotel wherever you go (without being logged out) ... room, lobby, restaurant and function room. Excellent. Would I stay again? Absolutely.

    « convenient location »

It is conveniently located, close to UMMC/University Hospital PJ, about 5 mins drive. Very new hotel located within a quite vacant building apart from 2-3 coffee houses, convenient store, florist store on the ground floor. Its a 10 mins walk for food at section 14, where we tucked in mamak food at Jamals (their mutton curry is yummy). There is also Jaya Shopping Centre nearby. We prefer to walk because the parking bay has a treacherous narrow and sharp corners with abrasion marks visible everywhere. Nearest LRT station is Asia Jaya, probably about 15 mins walk The room that we stayed in is very clean, zen like with all the expected amenities, however its very small. Hotel staff especially Conrad at the reception counter was very helpful. If I am in PJ for business and travelling alone, I will probably return.

« Still excellent but they have repeated a mistake again »

Once again, we're back and I really didn't expect that they repeat the same mistake they did the first time I came here. They told us they couldn't find our booking. We have booked via Expedia. To be honest, it is not something your guest like to hear and more so, for the second time. They did another thorough search and eventually found our booking. I would think that this issue should have been solved after several months but they didn't and decided to give us another scare and unpleasant first impression again. It is very disappointing but I still think this place shouldn't be rated down because of this. Perhaps if there is a third time. Overall, the hotel is still in good condition and I really love the good quality sleep and I really hope they do keep it up and really avoid these poor ratings because it is a new hotel and great for value with all the facilities and pretty good service. In our booking, it was mentioned full breakfast so naturally we went for breakfast to start our day and they stopped us and told us our room did not come with breakfast. That was quite embarrassing and we were told to head to the reception to sort it out ourselves. The receptionist did sort it out quickly for us to which I am pleased about so again, I won't rate this hotel down. Overall, I do hope that Best Western do iron out these little and unnecessary hiccups because it is still a nice hotel with great price. However, if prices do increase and the service remained unchanged I would consider other hotels as now there are many incoming Chinese tourists and they have brought in their bad behaviors with them. You've been warned.

    « Decent hotel »

Nice, clean hotel although my first impression upon arriving wasn't anything to shout about. The reception is at the sixth floor while the ground floor is taken up by cafes, restaurants and a convenience store, which were convenient. A laundromat is located at the back of the hotel so that helped. The hotel is only about 10 minutes walk to shops and malls in Section 14.

    « Great accommodation!!! »

Thank u for your hospitality!!! This Hotel gives you everything that you need, near the center city, great swimming pool :) The hospitality and the hard working people deserve a big Bravo! Everything i ask they was there to help and give!!!

« This hotel made me avoid Best Western brand »

The hotel is new and clearly inadequate in amenities, staff knowledge, and hospitality. Even for business travellers who do not expect great amenities, but require a comfortable and hassle-free stay, this hotel comes across as big let down. There was clear miscommunication from one staff to the other, even so most of the staff look like they are under training, the breakfast is barely adequate and the rooms have nothing to write home about. There are other better options in the vicinity and you should explore them. Highly avoidable.

« New hotel, but the staff still learning hospitality »

OK.. good points first : 1. new hotel. Bed, linen and pillows are good. since it is a new hotel. 2. Wifi is OK now bad things : 1. shower - bad.. very weak flow, complained to management, but they couldnt do anything. 2. there was bad smell always coming toilet, in mornings, literally i couldnt stay in the room, disgusting smell all around. maintenance team showed after complint, and they just cleaned up the toilet, didnt fix anything.. I have requested a room change. but no action. 3. Distance from Bed to TV is pathetic.. there is hardly a narrow between the TV and bed. 4. Transportation is heck of a problem if you dont have a car. no bell boy or concierge, though you see sign boards of concierge and bell in ground floor, you will not find anyone there. checked with the reception couple of times, and response was vague.. "you can find them somewhere sir, we dont know".. hehe. ! you need to wait 15-30 minutes in main road, right under freaking sun to get a cab. no one from hotel will help you to get a cab. you can find couple of guys sitting in the concierge area wearing orange colour uniforms, but they cant help you. you will be asked to get the cab in the street. most of cabs will not skip you if you are going for a trip in petaling jaya area, but if you go for KL they skip, i dont know why.. be careful. 5. toilets are way small. even with average built body, i had problem taking a shover.. its good for asian built people i believe. 6. no ideal place to store luggages. i travelled with a checkin baggage and laptop bag.. i couldnt store these bags anywhere conveniently. there was this luggage stand but it was placed right on my way to toilet, most of the time jam on it when i go to toilet in early morning, right from bed.. 7. they had an egg chair in the room, but never used it, it takes lotta space in already congested room.. the same time the laptop table is considerably small and inconvenient chair to work from.. i always prefered to use laptop on my bed, with the help of pillows. 8. AC airflow is hitting right on your face when in the bed or working on table. you cant adjust the vents of AC, they are solid.

« Warm and Welcoming New Hotel »

Rooms are not enormous but not tiny either. I would categorize them as intimate and comfortable. The rooms are well kept, classy and very stylish furnishing. With a unique offering of a swimming pool on the roof deck, you will see most of the skyline of Petaling Jaya (PJ). Its proximity to the go-to places in PJ such as Jaya Shopping Centre and Digital Mall also create an undeniable value added bonus. Parking a bit confusing so read the sign carefully.

« Poor Reservation Room system »

I have bad experience when I make a reservation room for a few times through phone calling and one time using online booking but the best western petaling jaya staff tell me that their system didn't show any detail of my reservation room booking. I feel disappointed on this matter and hope you can improve on this issue.

    « Improvement »

Nice, clean and friendly receptionist. The room is a bit small but who cares as long as you can stay comfortably and satisfyingly. The water is warm and you can't even hear your neighbour screaming. That's a plus too. A pebbles' throw away from nearby shopping malls which starts with the name jaya and also digital mall dudes or female dudes. Get it? oh and sorry no photo my room is messy.

« new hotel in an empty mall »

I've decided to stay at this hotel since the venue for my interview was adjacent to it. Being a new hotel, the room was in mint condition. The mall is still under construction so it is virtually empty saved by a coffee shop, a yogurt shop and a bistro. If you wish to go to the nearest shopping mall, you can either catch a cab or go to the nearest LRT station is the Asia Jaya station. I don't think I will stay here again in near future, at least not until the mall is fully functional.

    « Only for a quick stop »

This is a relatively new hotel and well-priced, but the rooms are very small and the maintenance is neglected. Hallways and rooms seem run down already. Buffet breakfast was okay, but seemed poorly put together. Opening the "Scrambled Eggs" container produced mixed vegetables....

    « Best Western PJ »

Hotel is new, hence nothing much to comment about its upkeep and cleanliness for now. However for the price that was paid for a night, you could get a fairly decent hotel in city centre which is of a much better value. Overall I'd rate this hotel 4 out of 10.

« Great stay overnight for business trip »

I needed a place to stay overnight at PJ. I am glad that I chose this hotel. Hotel room was great for me. Clean & comfortable. I had a good rest. Reasonably priced. Location is ok. Not at a very busy corner. Staffs are friendly. Down side is that the lobby is at the 6th floor. Nevertheless, the staffs were helpful in getting a taxi for me when I needed one to go to my business place. I ate dinner at the in-house restaurant on arrival because I was just too tired to explore nearby places. I must say that the food was reasonably priced compared with many other hotels. Congratulations to the hotel! I'll stay here again if I need to be at PJ area the next time.

    « Best Western PJ »

Generally OK but online commitment is not fully adhered to. I am referring to online Non smoking room commitment. Room are small but reasonably good value. Staff are quite friendly. Online payment is strange where card is not billed until you check out and still will be charged according to your online commitment even if you check out earlier.

    « Value for money »

Room is clean. Hotel facilities is available. Friendly staffs and services. Great view from the roof top. Breadfast is quite alrite. Restaurant surrounding is clean and bright. Shopping in the building complex is limited to less then 10 shops since its opening. Parking area is full during office hours and may have to park else where. Exiting the carpark is another issue. Shopping can be done at Jaya 33 or at Jaya mall and other shoplots. Happy to come back again.

    « Small Rooms »

Quite small rooms with a micro bed which certainly cannot be used for a couple. The hotel is new and the prices are reasonable. For the first night I stayed the bathroom was completed flooded and I had to wait the following day to get all the discharges fixed! The hotel is mainly used by large Chinese tourist group and for seminars or conventions so not quite at all.

    « Simple business stay »

This is a new hotel located in the middle of Petaling Jaya business district. Next to Plaza 33, it's a good location for business travelers to stay. The room is comfortable with basic facilities. Although a bit cramp for two of us, the integrated entertainment system and internet is good. Dual shower head for rain-like feel or hand-held shower head with hot & cold water. No bath tub. Basic amenities prepared but you can ask for basic toiletries like shaver, tooth brush etc for free. Parking entrance and exit are a bit tight and need to maneuver carefully. Parking ticket can be validated at the reception for free. The hotel lobby is at the 6th floor because the ground and first floors are the shopping mall (not fully opened yet). There are 24/7 convenience shop at the ground floor outside and few restaurants and cafe. Ask for the City view for better night view.

« Nice new hotel at Petaling Jaya »

The room is modern and look very new. However, is bit small. I usually fine with small room, so is not a problem to me. One side of the room with no view as it is facing a residence block next to it. So, if you want to have view, please ask for the other side and I think the reception told me is 2 single beds room The pool on rooftop is lovely with nice view too and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is fine with mainly local dishes with egg corner. As for location, this hotel like with some commercial lots at downstairs and together with some residence block. They are signage is you are driving there and the car park is free for hotel guests. If you are on public transport, I think the nearest train station is around 15-20mins by walking. I hope to stay there again If have chance.

    « Great stay !!! »

I happen to stay at the Best western, Petaling Jaya for quite a while, almost 3 weeks...... Its ideally located, well priced, a good restaurant and fantastic staff !!!! The hospitality extended is quite generous indeed...... comfortable bedding, and clean rooms although the smaller room size does feel a bit cramped. Plus the Movida downstairs is a great watering hole as well....... Would definitely recommend the place !!!

« New place in PJ »

Alright. This review is kinda overdue. Stayed here for a night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was great and the entertainment they got on the TV was great too. (For certain movies, you'd need to pay). However, the only downside would be the lack of shops in the building itself. Apart from a few restaurants, cafes etc when I was there, the building was practically considered "dead" due to the lack of stores open. Before I forget, there's also a 24-hours convenience store there too.

    « Friendliness can't be beat! »

This hotel is fairly new - was opened on 01Nov14. The rooms are very new and extremely clean. The rooms are not spacious, but compact. The bathroom has a toilet, basin and shower and is quiet small too. The hot water is warm at best. The internet is slow, but free. The staff are wonderfully pleasant, friendly and very helpful at all times. If you are taller than 5'8" you will find the beds very small. My husband is 5'10" and his feet hang over the edge of the bed. The hotel is very close to some local shopping malls and street food as well as a variety of restaurants. At the base of the hotel there is a 24 hour laundry with washers and dryers and very reasonably priced. There is a note changer to coins machine. The machines include softener and detergent as part of the cost. This is a well maintained hotel, but could do with some bigger bins in the bathroom and an additional bin under the desk. Bigger beds would cater for taller people too. It would also be good to have more bag stands to put your luggage. On the roof top there is a gym, pool and outdoor bar area - great views if you are not afraid of heights. There is also a 24 hour shop at the entrance to the hotel, but they don't like it when you pay with a $50 note! Overall a pleasant place to stay and I would stay here again.

    « Good affordable stay »

The hotel is very near to public amenities like shopping malls, shops and restaurants. The room is clean with very good bedding. It is very comfortable indeed. Just hope that the rain shower pressure is better though

Me and my wife stayed for 2 D&N in Best Western. The staff are so pleasant in their service, good ambience, neat, well maintained rooms. The restaurant is excellent especially the breakfast, we enjoyed a lot. Rooms are well designed with city view. The pool is very well maintained and I enjoyed more than a hour in the pool. Though in the city, not much crowd. Took taxi for outing. Overall experience is quite good.

    « Good value accommodation »

I have stayed at this hotel at least half a dozen times. Located in Petaling Jaya it is conveniently located off the highway and close to my favourite haunts in the PJ/SS2/Paramount Gardens area I frequent for food and visiting friends. The hotel is part of the Central Square mall which has yet to be fully opened. There are restaurants and a very popular bar on the ground floor and it is within walking distance to other malls like Jaya33 and Plaza 33. The rooms are a bit small but adequate and the staff are always helpful. There is a rooftop restaurant bar that offers great views of the area.

This is a fantastic new property in Petaling Jaya... Got a great deal on the hotel website... Though rooms are small for double occupancy they are fresh new and cosy... Its very close to the malls and cinemas (play bollywood movie) and many restaurants... Rooftop pool and bar offers a great view..

I stayed 2D 1N in a standard room. It was quite small for two people but clean and decoration in good repair. Breakfast was of a good choice and restaurant staff very helpful. When the muffins ran out and I asked if there were any more, fresh ones were brought to my table quickly. At reception I was dealt with efficiently and staff were cheerful and friendly. The swimming pool on the roof looked very nice as did the seating areas close by and I was disappointed not to be able to use these due to the dreadful haze. I stayed here because it was very convenient for a concert I was going to at Jaya One and I would certainly stay here again.

First visit to this hotel, recommended by friend for the BBQ dinner, made booking and quite impress bbq promotion in the guest lift . Promotion poster doesn't tell the real story. The table they gave us very tied and cramp. I ask to have nice table and convenience for us to enjoy the dinner but unfortunately the staff said all table is fully booked. Surprise us that the table that they said booked is actually for their own staff, maybe the staff book early then the pay guest. I went to the buffet, not many varieties but selection of the bbq item is sufficient for grilled item. Small salad bar and dessert with 4 precooked items. They should marinated the meat item with plain marination like paprika and some seasoning instead of a lot of minced garlic. too strong and it really kill the bbq grilled meat taste. I'm not really enjoy with the buffet and I prefer to have good bbq even thought have to pay slightly extra. Thanks to chef who taking care the bbq buffet for sending the grilled items to our table.

« Quiet and comfortable getaway »

This place was initially a bit hard to find, though located a little away from a few shopping districts. At the hotel's ground floor, there are convenience stores and cafes with wifi, which is good. Check-in was smooth and easy. I got a room at the end of the hall, its window faces another building. It appears that the rooms on the opposite side of the building would get a good view. However, the room's decor was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Wifi in room and at lobby was good enough for surfing the net and uploading photos. A friend's room had some issues with its heated shower. The rooftop pool was not good for swimming laps but was more appropriate for a quick dip. Towels were provided for guests. Staff members were found to be courteous and helpful especially those at the rooftop restaurant. They offered to keep a lookout for something we had lost by the pool.

« Nice place for a short trip »

Overall the service was fast and good. All staffs were helpful and friendly. We were greeted with nice smile everywhere from their housekeepers too. Room is clean and comfortable. Nice and calming surrounding. Just nice for a short stay. Just that you can hear noises from outside of the room. Also finding places to eat was a bit tough.

« Convenient location to Jaya33 n offices around, but getting taxi a nightmare »

Hotel is nearly one year old soon November 2015...but maintenance is sadly not keeping the place it should be. Lobby is on 6 th floor, the staff are friendly . The room is relatively small but nicely decorated. Bathroom lacks the vanity kit n tooth brush. You can call housekeeping but the phone seems impossible to dial thru. Got a room facing the next building so there no view at all. The heater is really not effective in delivering hot water , not sure if it's isolated to my room or across. Wifi super slow. Last comment, plan yr journey . Getting taxi fr hotel is a nightmare, there is a private limo service downstairs but you will be charged 5-8x normal amount. You have been warned !

« Good sleep at a Good Price »

Service was delightful, breezy check-in and check-out (at 4am). Did not need to ring house-keeping as room was tidy, sheets were changed and bathroom cleaned upon check-in. Room is decent size (stayed in the Twin Sharing). Totally loved the bedding quality - sturdy solid mattress. I was able to have good quality sleep whilst recovering from jetleg. Hotel situated in PJ, central to all things I needed to do (car is needed to travel around), basement parking provided. The hotel is housed in a very new building, hopefully more eateries will be housed there too.

« Bargain and Absolutely Clean Hotel »

I stayed a night. It was a late check in. Due to my house is in Shah alam, and i have work in UM hospital the next early morning at 4am, i chose to put a night here for my ease of travel. I would say, this indeed is a good bargain for a 3 stars hotel. Absolutely clean Staffs are friendly. Location wise, yes, it is not in a hotspot, but we local malaysian know petaling jaya is not a tourist spot. We are here for business. Do, dont expect some fancy restaurants or irish type pub in this area. If u want great hotel, please travel to KL and pay rm 500 for 5 stars hotel. I sincerely want to give my compliments to Best Western for the clean hotel with bargain price. I will stay here again in future frequently, hope Best Western will provide me a loyalty card with better discounts.

    « Bad Western »

We stayed here due to it's close location to Jaya One where we are having our business meetings. So bad... Location: It's just PJ. Nothing else as everything is still under construction. Transportation: Taxi. The nearest LRT is Taman Daya and it's a RM5 taxi ride away. Food: Not great. Jaya 33 is terrible even though we paid a lot at this fancy looking Japanese restaurant that gave us stomach ache. Stick with local food next time, we say. Surrounding: Shophouses and unfinished mall. I would not recommend walking outside at night. It looks dodgy when we arrived at midnight. Smell: No bad smell. Service: Friendly but clueless staff. They are nice people, but terrible service. Wrongly cancelled our reservation, we had to yell after 30 minutes of useless discussion. Then we finally got the reservation back. Room: The room is basic. But the sheets are not changed. We specifically asked for housekeeping to change it. Toiletteries and towels are not consistently given. We stayed here on 2 occasions in the same month so we sort of know what we should be getting. Sauna: Now the sauna is really small on the rooftop toilet but really nice and hot. I found it good!

« Good for the short trip! »

Good for the short trip (clean room and good service) and value for the money (very cheap). But there is nothing special around the hotel. But its really good for the business and short trip! And i think the room service boy, dont need to give me everyday the new set of shampoo, comditioner and body wash. The hotel can be green in this part of service!
