Great hotel with good amenities and polite helpful staff. I always stay here when travelling in the Norfolk area on business. Nice food and decent portions in the restaurant and "Farmers Arms" at the entrance to the hotel grounds. Nice pool and gym facilities.

Lovely stay but only a four because of disappointing evening food for vegetarians/vegans and a few niggles. Most of the staff were very friendly, even if it is hard to see the reception staff because of a ridiculously high partition in front of them. We were upgraded to a room with a great view as far as The Wash, but it needed a few fixes to the paint and plaster. There were loose paving slabs outside and a lack of signage to the spa. The restaurant menu was dull for veges so we went to the adjoining pub, which was disappointing. Breakfast was good but overly complicated by having a grumpy waitress in charge of allocating tables. It is a good place to stay and enjoy the spa, but vegetarians/vegans may want to consider eating elsewhere in the evening.

We visited the hotel restaurant for Mother's Day and we had such a lovely meal. The food was delicious, there was plenty of vegetables to accompany the roast and good options for the vegan member of our party. The waitresses were attentive but gave us the space we wanted to enjoy our meal together. Kids loved it too. Choc mousse pudding was amazing!!

Hotel is living in the past. Room very tiered, bathroom needs a new bath/shower, staff training on how to treat a customer. Front of house disgraceful, Food left a lot to be desired. .Would not recommend.

We went to the spa as a group. Receptions do not know current deals on offer through email so Miscommunication. Telling you one thing on the phone to get you to book and then not follow through on the day. Average facilities. Will not be returning.

Yet another lovely stay here our 7th I think , great location for exploring North Norfolk and Norwich .Room was really nice , hotel staff all warm and friendly esp staff where we have breakfast in particular Peal and the ladies who were on 26th and 27th Feb I didn't get their names .Lovely to eat breakfast watching the Muntjac deer in the fields next door and the great tits knocking at breakfast room window .The snow drops and daffodils in the grounds looked lovely .we eat at the Farmers arms pub next to the hotel which has a nice menu and if you check the offers on their website before you go they often have discount vouchers we got 35% off last night ! Very friendly staff, great service, lovely food and extremely clean and pleasant room. Excellent location for getting around the county and for getting into the historic town of Kings Lynn and the wonderful Norfolk coast.

My Mum and I were bought this spa break as a Christmas present. The accommodation, afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast were excellent quality. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. Spa and treatment were great.

You will NOT get a better hotel and such great service from all the staff anywhere else. My wife and I have stayed in quite a few hotels over the years and this one tops it all. 10/10. I booked this for my wife's 60th birthday and our wedding anniversary on the same day. And wow, Thanks for everything guys.

My husband and I stayed at Knights Hill hotel for a anniversary The room was very comfortable and the range of food excellent. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The bar had a varied range of drinks.

This hotel is a good all rounder, the Staff were brilliant, Room very good, very clean and Food was excellent. The pool is a lovely size and other area's also very good size and clean. Me and my husband were very impressed. We will be returning later in the year for a Masonic weekend.

Fantastic price. Friendly staff at reception and at breakfast. Breakfast was great. Children loved the pool. Room was very clean. Perfect stay for a family of 4. They added two single beds to our room at no extra cost for our 3 and 6 year old. Would stay again.

We have stayed here a few times before and this time our room had been upgraded to a huge garden room with a patio. It was very, very peaceful. We saw Muntjac deer, a Red Kite and a Great Tit with it's own agenda tapping on the dining room window every morning.

Staff were very friendly & helpful, service was excellent, as was the food. Great choice of food & drink. The only disappointment was the spa, pool & jacuzzi was very busy, so unfortunately couldn't use those facilities.

Great stay, quite an old hotel but it had a nice vibe, good food, excellent customer service. Great place for a wedding! Venue was beautiful and the staff were extremely attentive. Drinks were reasonably priced too as well as the hotel room cost.

Very good value for an excellent experience. I only wish I could say this for other places we have stayed at with similar pricing. Kings Hill is exceptional with exceptional staff and first class food.

Dated hotel amenities, decor, and spa. Bland food, on a motorway, no charm, nice reception desk people though at all times of day. Kudos to kind woman who bumped us up to King size room due to my insomnia and RLS. Rooms have no AC or shower extraction and as I was on ground floor to garden, I didn't feel safe opening doors a bit for fresh air. Room only came with 1 set of towels, (friends experienced the same) and no robe (needed if you plan to go to pool especially); toiletries do not live up to standards of any spa hotel, sheets so rough they left imprint of weave pattern on nails varnished 6 hours earlier! 1980s english breakfast with rubbery steam fried eggs, frozen pastries, canned fruit except for some melon slices, horrendous coffee. Restaurant staff are grumpy older women; spa staff seem like teens- two staff members seen straddling each other in reception area of spa from the pool. Odd for workplace at 11am! Spa treatments not worth money but pool was nice, jacuzzi lukewarm, sauna fine. Wouldn't recommend in particular and was happy to have spent weekend at beautiful Happy Valley Glamping nearby for wedding. Alas, no space left there so many of us stayed at hotel with same experiences. Meh.

Cannot fault the whole experience from arriving to be greeted by the friendly receptionist, to the attentive and lovely staff at breakfast, the room was clean and had everything I needed for my stay so you can't ask for more than that

Nice hotel comfortable clean, I stayed here for 3 nights with my wife we where in the area visiting family. The hotel is in a very pleasant area it was busy but you where still treated as an individual, the room was hot but it was a very hot spell of weather, there was a fan in room so all good. We ate in hotel main restaurant on our first night, service was good, but the food let it down it was over priced for the portion size I had the haddock dish it consisted of a bit of fish so small sitting on top of a very small mound of veg and about 6 pellets of potatoes, the fish was not fresh and had very little taste, the rest of my party portion size was also small. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant again for the duration of our 3 night stay, the hotels loss I'm afraid. On our way home we overnighted in a well known budget hotel with a liking to the colour purple, I had haddock and chips in the on-site restaurant the fish was about 4 times the size and half the price funny how some can do it.

We have visited this site many times on our first visit we stayed in one of the camping pods which was lovely. The manager arranged for somewhere to safely park our truck when arrived late at night after racing. We have since purchased a tent and have stayed on the camping field twice now both times have been brilliant lovely clean showers and the park is a bonus. This site is always accommodating of our needs and great value for money. Management/staff always polite and pleasant. We will always book here when we have a weekend of racing weather it be in a pod or in the tent.

The hotel was fine rooms clean but small ; the staff were friendly and polite, we were asked to book the table for 7.45 which was ok but we had at least 1 hour and 15 minutes to wait for our meal after we had ordered it. Also the staff need to be shown which glass to use for which drink wine in wine glass ,gin in gin glass and brandy in brandy glass,when we paid the young lady asked was everything ok and we told her, all we got was oh sorry and that was it .

This was a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday. I booked the pamper package directly with the hotel, that included Imagine Spa - aromatherapy bath and use of all the facilities. Upon arrival, we went straight to the spa. Such a lovely relaxing afternoon. I added on a massage and got 30% off, which was a nice gesture. The spa facilities are shared with the hotel gym/pool, so be prepared for gym-goers and children in the pool. They weren't any trouble though. Nice to chill in the hot tub before returning to the spa, which had rainfall showers, steam rooms and relaxation room all separate. Checked into the hotel around 4pm. No fridge. We took a cool box of Prosecco. We had room 40 - ground floor. Doors opened to the huge courtyard/garden. They had prepared swan towels and petals on the bed. There was a hair on the pillow and the room was a bit dusty, especially on the lamp shades, but didn't bother us. We had dinner allowance and had booked the garden restaurant. Food was delicious. We shared a starter of bread, olives and oil and each had the salmon fishcake and mackerel and stuffed chicken for main. Breakfast was a good selection, but was so full from dinner, I didn't fancy much. Drinks are expensive. In total we had 4 double gins and tonics. £5 for a tonic. Even with the £30 dinner allowance, the bill came to £74.50 as drinks aren't included. Really quiet place, full of older generation, but pleasant stay. Friendly staff.

We booked a day pass to use the Spa Pool for the afternoon - priced at about £15.00 each, we have to say that it was the best experience of our whole holiday! We were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. First sign things were good. The pool is spacious and delightful. The water was cool without being cold. There was a Jacuzzi, Steam Room and also a Sauna (which we didn't use). The pool, Jacuzzi and Steam Room were superb, we have to say. Additionally the fellow clientele were respectful, happy and friendly. We even had a conversation with a lady who was visiting which was also really nice. The whole experience was just so relaxing and just what we needed, and we didn't expect it to be as good as it was (as the Spa looks quite small from the outside!). We didn't use any of the actual health treatment facilities but if they're as good as the main pool side... Speaking as a bloke, the changing area was also above average compared to others. It was a large spacious room with benches in the middle, showers and toilets at the end. The lockers take a pound coin but you can buy a fob from the desk for a quid. The showers are glass cubicles and were surprisingly clean - finding a clean shower nowadays is so rare! You also do get free shower gel which was nice. You don't get free use of towels or flip flops on a day pass so bring your own but they're kind enough to leave plastic carriers for trunks in the area. Just when you don't think it can get any better, we struck up a conversation with the lady at the desk, and she guided us to a lovely place to eat that night... and her recommendation was superb! I cannot recommend this enough and I was just delightfully happy. If we were local, we would be getting a membership and joining these guys. Only sorry that we're not!

A little gem of a hotel. Lovely rooms-clean and spacious. Fantastic gym with state of the art equipment Steamroom and sauna both working!! Decent size pool for swimming lengths Food arrived quickly and was tasty

The menu offers latte and biscuits for £3.70. This is not what you'll get. The coffee only has one shot which is really just warm milk. I was charged £6.50 for the worst mug of coffee I've ever had with no biscuits. The latte had ground coffee floating in it. My advise is to avoid Knight Hill and go somewhere that knows how to make coffee.

Really lovely place to get away for a break . Booked last minute. Very peaceful and well maintained. Nice places to eat and drink , reasonable priced , tasty food. Spa facilities come with the room , spa treatments are extra.

We stayed overnight as part of a classic car road trip. Car park was safe, hotel has excellent location. Staff very friendly and professional. Rooms and leisure facilities excellent and restaurant relaxed and offered good range of options including Gluten Free

I decided to pay the premium to stop here rather than the Premier Inn. The room within the Annex Building was tired looking, walls damaged, power cables exposed and just run anywhere along with a TV mounted in front of a picture - this was obviously too challenging to move. There's an expectation when paying a certain price point, this certainly failed in that regard.

This hotel is definitely a tale of two halves. What was clearly a grand house at some point has been turned into a hotel right next to a major road intersection. The web site will show you many pictures of the lovely building but not make it clear that the 'courtyard' area which is all you can use if you have a dog, is actually a recently constructed building that looks like a toilet block. I will share a picture below. Whilst over the road from all of the hotel buildings, the swimming pool is lovely and we enjoyed the pool, steam room and sauna. The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a nice meal. Overall, this is an expensive place considering its location and the appointment of the 'courtyard' a.k.a. toilet block rooms.

My first visit here and certainly not the last. There was a major noise issue in my room on day 2 but the situation was handled exceptionally by the reception/porter team and all was well. Great food in all the restaurant/bar areas and nice staff everywhere. Highly recommended.

I would love to be able to rate this hotel higher than “average” but I'm afraid I can't see myself being able too for the following reasons. The hotel is quite dated in its overall presentation. The decor is uninviting and is in need of some renovation work to bring it up to a better standard. The bedroom furniture was tired and furniture had staining on the seating area. The bathroom was clean but overall there is a need to update it to make it more aesthetically appealing. The Spa was pleasant but lacked sufficient seating/sun loungers especially when there were a number of guests using the facilities. I witnessed several couples having to leave their towels on the side railing and unable to fully relax due to the inadequate seating. The outside space by the bar had what appeared to be new outdoor furniture and this was a nice improvement. A perfect place to sit and relax enjoying the garden with a drink. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious I cannot fault the food and choice. The only issue was that when the tea/coffee was served in the pots to our table the waitress was very rude to my wife when she asked which one was tea/coffee. Unfortunately my wife didn't see her name badge otherwise we would have mentioned it to the manager of the restaurant for some customer service feedback. In summary we probably won't stay here again unless things are improved.

Stayed with 3 friends and we had a fab evening. Hotel was clean and nice rooms. Staff very friendly. Nothing was any trouble even though we amended our booking a few times! We would definitely look to book to stay here again!

I stopped by here to break up a journey back from Norfolk and I have to say the service was unusually good. Responsive on email. Really helpful with my disability needs of a ground floor room, walk in shower and help carrying heavy things to the room. Great service on hand to help with things I needed. Lots of free parking. There was a good atmosphere and the rooms were generously sized.

A friendly hotel experience where staff value you, where the food is good and where the facilities enhance the experience whilst away from home. Hotel location is situated perfectly on the main access route into the area for exploring Norfolk,

The room was lovely and we both got a really good night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious and all tastes were catered for. We went for a pamper package and the spa was just wonderful. The treatments we both had were amazing and we came away feeling very relaxed and recharged. We had our evening meal at the adjoined Farmers Arms and we weren't disappointed. It was lovely.

From getting to the hotel the welcome was friendly and very informative. The room was superb very clean, very well maintained, Beds very comfy { never slept so well }. The bar and restaurant were very clean and a good range of food and alcoholic beverage. My Fiancée is a coeliac and the Gluten free options were very good. This Hotel is in the perfect spot for Sandringham, Norfolk coast And easy for Kings Lynn corn exchange for shows and town.

Booked hear for my wife's Birthday treat. Hotel itself was great, good food, comfortable large rooms and friendly staff. The Spa, apatantly run by a separate firm was very disorganised they had lost our advanced booking that we paid for in advanced luckily I could prove the payment but this spoilt the day. The Hotel blamed the spar but as I booked the hotel as a stay and spar two days I blame the hotel.

On Bank Holiday Monday our family of 6 adults and 5 grandchildren spent the day at Brancaster Beach. On our way home, fancying a meal and without calling ahead we stopped at Knights Hall. I was welcomed by a very smiley young lady - I asked if they a) accommodated dogs and b) could they accommodate 11 of us for a meal. The young lady said yes to both and duly arranged a separate area for us. The staff were extremely attentive, always smiling and polite, The food was very good, freshly cooked and hot! The whole experience wrapped up a special family day out. Thank you to all the staff - keep up the good work because it truly is appreciated.

Myself, partner and infant son enjoyed a stay at Knights Hill Hotel and Spa just before Christmas whilst visiting family in King's Lynn. We had such a lovely experience with an amazing sized room, which was slightly dated in terms of decor but the views of the garden and super comfy bed made up for that. The breakfast included was delicious and plentiful with vast options to cater for all dietary requirements. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful too which just added to our lovely time and experience throughout our stay. Only downside was that the spa was fully booked so we couldn't get any treatments unfortunately however, we have noted to book ahead next time to avoid disappointment. We decided to book the day after New Years as we enjoyed the hotel so much! Look forward to coming back again soon.

Amazing NYE night! Service was superb with all member of staff being brilliant. Food was lovely, 3 courses served in an hour! DJ was brilliant, the set up was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for more! We had a great time and would definitely go again this year!!

Came to the Knights Hill New Year's Eve dinner and disco. Can not fault the service from the staff from start to finish. They served a lovely three course meal followed by a disco until the early hours. Myself and everyone I attended with thoroughly enjoyed it!! Will definitely be coming back for another NYE party!

The greeting on arrival was very friendly , staff were so helpful and friendly , food was served on time and very efficient and hot , waiters and waitresses were extremely polite, and nothing was too much trouble for them , bar staff were great and disco had us dancing all night long , music was good all night , we loved the fireworks at 12 ,

Ordered a sirloin medium rare. Came out looking good but oh my so chewy, had to leave it. oven chips, yeah I've had better from an an Aunt !!! To be fair they offered me an alternative. Looked at other meals being served and they also looked really nice. Regretting my choice now. Now I'm going to my room hungry. I should of accepted their offer of something else. Not a massive bad experience because they offered to fix it but I'm a stubborn person and reaping my choices. Take what they offer you if they deliver poor quality

Only stayed for 1 night while visiting Thursford show, next time will try to stay longer to make use of the spa & see more of the area, nice clean rooms, good nights sleep, location next to main road great for access and with rooms well away from the road so not noisy, breakfast good and plentiful, staff friendly - couldn't fault it.

Excellent hotel with brilliant staff. Food first rate. Variable menu in the evening. If breakfast busy with coach parties help yourself. Snow on ground but room beautifully warm. Bed very comfortable. Spotlessly clean.

We didn't stay here but had lunch. The food was absolutely shocking. Steak was fatty and over cooked. Steak hoggie was a joke. Five little bits of fatty Steak that you couldn't eat, a terrible salad that had definitely seen better days and some sort of chips that were like oven chips that had been fried. We definitely won't ever go there again.

Stayed one night at this hotel with bus trip and had an absolutely wonderful stay. Staff couldn't be more helpful and any minor issues promptly sorted. Food very good too and help yourself breakfast which I enjoy as it cuts back on food waste. Room was spacious and clean. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if in the area and would recommend to others. THANKS I GIVE YOU 11 OUT OF 10!

We had our pensioners association Christmas lunch at Knights Hill - which is a lovely (very large) venue. The staff were really efficient and helpful but the food rather disappointed since it was more like a Sunday lunch with a choice of turkey or beef......rather mediocre compared with some of the other venues we have been to in the area in recent years

Nice hotel a bit dated.Xar parks could do with more signs .(I was 10 mins trying to find my car)Breakfast was awful for a £95 a night hotel.Cold bacon,half a slice of black pudding,sausage only about 1 1/2 ins long.Very unhappy with it considering £95 a night.

Lovely hotel great location and facilities, food in the pub was great value and the sweets were amazing…leisure centre was ideal for a swim and relax, breakfast was good with plenty of choice would definitely return again..

We had a lovely weekend at Knights. Staff we all helpful. There is a pub on site, just opposite the hotel which we had dinner in on the night we arrived. The food was good and reasonably priced. We had breakfast at the hotel. There was a really good selection of food, which was help yourself to continental and order from the menu for hot options. Again all the staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. There is pool, spa and gym on site. Overall we had a lovely time and would definitely use this hotel again.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere. A traditional cosy bar and restaurant. Staff are very helpful and polite. Food is lovely pub food . We are local and really enjoy going to chill out after work to wind down.

My wife and I had a three-night dinner, bed and breakfast stay at Knights Hill in mid-October 2022. We had booked, and stayed in what Knights Hill (“KH”) calls a garden master room. I would have to say this is an agreeable hotel, but one with significant contradictions. When you search a dinner, bed and breakfast stay on the hotel website you will be offered a plethora of rates. For example, searching later in October for the same room we had, three nights D, B&B, the range in rates offered is from £673 to £825. Other than cancellation policy I can't discern any other difference and the hotel was unable to point to a material difference either. So, my advice will be pick the cheapest Leisure rate. I did, and we had no difficulties as a result of that choice. Staff generally were pleasant and courteous. The hotel enjoys a good rural location outside Kings Lynn. A short drive to Sandringham; a tad over a one-mile walk to Castle Rising. We watched muntjac deer in the field next to the brasserie, although most of the other diners were oblivious to them. Wifi worked, slower in spots. Ample free parking in front of reception. Online and Tripadvisor pictures represent the hotel accurately. Our room was spacious, clean and well-appointed, with a patio onto the walled garden, which is delightful. I would say storage was unusual in that drawer storage for clothes was the desk! Bathroom was nicely done but I have to say, despite acknowledging the warning placard, the heated towel rail was dangerously hot. Breakfasts were served in the Garden Brasserie. I would rate them pretty well. We are up fairly early and all was good; I can imagine breakfast gets a bit busy when the hotel is full. Dinners – well sadly, this is where the property fell down HARD. Actually it's more a management problem than a food service problem but we did have issues in the attached Farmers Arms Inn which I will detail following. Prior to booking I had sought clarification on what was included for dinner in the D,B&B plan and was told: “Our dinner, bed and breakfast rate – are inclusive of a £30.00 meal allowance per person – this can be used in both restaurants stated previously; this entitles you to a 3 course meal in our Garden Brasserie.” And here's the rub: The Garden Brasserie was closed two out of the three nights of our stay. It was open the last night which proved that the food was significantly different and vastly superior to the pub food served at the Farmers Arms, where we were otherwise forced to eat. I asked why the brasserie was closed, no real answer but was offered “staff problems”. Be that as it may, not my problem, but so far as I am concerned our stay was sold to us on false pretenses as the hotel did not deliver what it advertised. That is completely unacceptable and in combination with our experiences at the Farmers Arms, leads to our stay getting two stars for this review. Otherwise the hotel would have done better. I honestly just don't accept bait and switch from anyone. Consequently, I don't recommend the dinner inclusive packages here. Viewing the brasserie menu prices, you'll probably save money by doing pay-as-you-go. The first and second nights of our stay we had to eat at the Farmers Arms. Typical pub food, generally but not universally issuing from a deep fryer, which I would rate as “OK”. The pub itself is nicely done. The first night, the place was quiet. They had run out of the advertised carvery by 6pm; our meal took forty minutes to arrive. The second night, the conservatory in which we were seated was empty. My wife asked for another table as the two-seater we had was cramped. We were told that “Two people have to sit at a table for two”. OK. But to add insult to injury three parties of two came soon after, without bookings, and were seated at the larger tables we had only recently been refused. Oh well, I suppose that's the best example of Knights Hill attitude to customer service I can offer you……Sadly, that is the single experience we will remember of our visit. Would I stay at the Knights Hill hotel again? Yes. But I would never buy a dinner inclusive package here as management can't be trusted to deliver what they sold. On checkout no-one chose to ask about our stay so I am offering my observations here instead.

Booked a pamper break for me and my mother, we generally go once a year as we have never had any problems. We went for the aromatherapy bath as that came with the package, I had requested if we could change it and was strongly told no as it is part of the package unless I wanted to spend more, even though there are treatments around that kind of money, so we went anyway and the bath was absolutely disgusting. We went to find a manager to which the spa manager wasn't working on a weekend as we were told, shocking. The lady who was the leisure manager went to go and check the bath and completely agreed it was disgusting, but continued to say that she doesn't check it as it's not her job, she offered a glass of Prosecco while she checked it and then went over to the hotel as it was part of a separate company we were told. We then didn't want to use the spa facilities as the drains were blocked in the fire and ice section which felt very unsanitary with people waking around bare feet. We then went over to the hotel and the young girl on the desk said she would refund the £30 for the bath as we complained, but then proceeded to take off the extra £4.00 for the afternoon tea we had making it £26 refund. Wasn't expecting a complete refund but as we didn't have the bath that is expected but would of been appreciated if they had gone to the extra mile of offering something else, the hotel that is and not the spa. The room we stayed in felt like a council bed sit, it had a kitchenette which one of the doors were hanging off, spider webs and spiders in there, the door frames were splitting, the curtain border was half hanging off as well. We have stayed quite a few times over the years and we really were disappointed with everything.

The International Motorcyclist Tour Club (IMTC) stayed two nights at the hotel for our annual October weekend. There were 58 in our group and all enjoyed their stay at the Knights Hill Hotel. There is lots to see and do in the area and many of our group used the local bus service to visit King's Lynn.

Nice hotel with great spa, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Very clean and spacious room. Good service at reception. beautiful grounds. Breakfast has a great choice and food is great quality. Service was erratic and not as polite as I would have liked but I'm pretty fussy. The waitresses were polite but i think they could have been more professional. A floor manager would have been very beneficial.

My Husband and I used this venue for our wedding reception long story short cold food, wedding coordinator both off on our special day. Belongings left with next family using the venue. little to know staff communication. Had our seat covers stolen had to chase staff to get this sorted. Very rude gm very poor customer service after the fact. Hotel room on the night did not provide toilet roll had to call and ask for it.ordering breakfast wasn't explained so breakfast was all wrong on the day of the wedding. no air conditioning on dance floor was so hot. many more complaints.

I took a group of 39 Trefoil Guild ladies to stay at this hotel from 12th - 16th September. We should have visited in 2020 but had to delay our visit due to the Covid pandemic. It was worth the wait as we weren't disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay The whole place was very clean. Staff were very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate one of our ladies who has special dietary requirements. Some of our rooms only had one hand towel and 2 bath towels for the first 2 days. I spoke to one of the cleaners who apologised & said that they were having to return towels to the laundry service as they were coming back not cleaned to the hotels required standard. This had left them short as its the hotels policy to change all towels every day. Its in a convenient location for visiting Sandringham and Houghton Hall and is within 20 miles of Walsingham. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay there in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the 'Courtyard rooms' on a Bed, Breakfast and Dinner deal. The dinner choice was small but really good and was cooked to perfection. The staff are really nice they couldn't do enough for you. We would highly recommend the Knights Hill Hotel, we're definitely going back. Thank you.

The pleasant and enjoyable stay not east to book a table for dinner before 8pm which is a little late for the older generation. Food was excellent The location was good for visiting the main attractions in this part of Norfolk.

We have stayed at this hotel on two previous occasions and found it to be a convenient and comfortable base for exploring North Norfolk. This visit disappointed us. Standards are slipping. Our stable block room had a number of faults - a bathroom door that took a lot of persuasion to shut properly, a very noisy extractor fan, a broken roller blind chain which meant it would not operate properly, a Fire Action Plan that did not reflect the room, showing two exit doors rather than the one. We were provided with only one hand towel for two to share in addition to the two bath towels. There were only two accessible power points available (others were behind a chest of drawers and the double bed) and these accessible ones were needed for the TV and a desk light. These appliances had to be unplugged to use anything else e.g. phone chargers or hair dryers. Quite honestly these weaknesses need to be addressed if we are to return.

Service with a smile on arrival but didn't have the room we requested available until the following day. Not very happy. We packed up again the following morning for porters to take everything to the room we originally asked for with a patio/terrace, while we were out. Room we had for one night was really lovely and big; double sink in bathroom and walkin shower. Went to spa/pool area that was really nice apart from an awful looking brick wall at side of an okay sized pool. Jacuzzi not working for the 3 days/nights we were there so disappointed. Changing rooms to warm and couldn't cool down even after a cold shower. Really difficult to dry myself even with using talc. Food at hotel was okay and only ate there once and had to give me something made up to suit me so really good of them. Pub beside hotel had better food so ate there twice, (please give the option to take skin off cod before battering it, surely not hard for a chef to do?) Breakfast was made to order and was good, vegan forme and full English for my husband. Decaffeinated teabags to hand after we had to ask for them the first morning. Why have decaffeinated coffee in rooms and always readily available but hardly ever decaff tea? It's so annoying! Room service was great with towels changed if asked and all staff friendly and helpful. One guy in the pub though had an awful attitude and shouldn't be in the hospitality business; heard him be rude to colleagues and members of the public. Overall a great stay (furniture could be updated) and would highly recommend.

Great location for visiting NW Norfolk. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Large bedroom and bathroom with all the usual amenities. Breakfast was freshly cooked and booking a time slot ensured no waiting and prompt service. Ate dinner in the Farmers - generous portions. Would have been nice to have more items without chips, but not a big issue - the side salad was lovely. Plenty of parking. Outdoor seating. Good value hotel. Will definitely stay again when visiting that part of Norfolk.

A fantastic hotel with amazing staff and facilities. The breakfast was comprehensive and freshly cooked and the spa facilities were all working. The staff could not have been any more helpful and we would definitely stay again.

Arrived at just after 1 and asked to check in...receptionist asked us to wait whilst she did the banking!! Went for lunch whilst waiting only to be told to "wait whilst the staff finish their lunch....come back in 10 minutes"!!!! Had dinner in the pub restaurant attached to the hotel, waitress looked very miserable. When asked if she was ok she responded: "would you like another server"!!! My steak was beyond well done in fact it was incinerated so much that it was inedible. All in all, miserable staff, shocking customer service and poor food! Avoid.

This has the potential to be a stunning and relaxing hotel, instead it is run down and in need of a refurbishment. Breakfast was tasty but limited choice. Spa was ok but hard to get hold of. Definitely not 4* standard

Rooms are very tired but generally ok. Both rooms smelt damp but one much worse than the other so this party were moved. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Staff were friendly and public areas were kept very tidy

Would not recommend, high prices for low quality, rooms basic and not reall6 clean and dated, breakfast couldn't be booked as no spaces although we had room service which was on time but not very nice. , wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Very good location and plenty of facilities all around including their own pub, spa, swimming pool etc. Our ground floor room was spacious and well furnished. Very comfortable bed. Open out to garden with table and chairs. Breakfast good quality and choice. Ideal if using as a base for Sandringham. Good value for money. Reception staff very helpful and friendly.

Where does one start? From the moment I spoke to the receptionist to book the hotel to when we left, every member of staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room (Classic Twin) was large with loads of drawers and cupboard space, as was the bathroom, with plenty of space to move around. (And for the 3* reviewer, yes, the decoration was a little 'tired' but no hotel will redecorate every year and everywhere was spotlessly clean). And wonder of wonders, there was actually a shower mat (many top hotels refuse to provide them on the grounds of 'hygiene') On our third night (during this last heatwave), it was so hot that when we came back from our day out, the staff had placed a fan in the room and it was going full pelt. The food (The Garden Brasserie) was so good that I threatened to kidnap the chef one evening - and the menu is changed every evening. The surroundings of the restaurant were lovely...so lovely that every morning without fail a great tit kept trying to get in through the big plate-glass window! Breakfast was plentiful with a good 'continental' spread and hot foods cooked to order. I do not agree with the reviewer who said you could only get a 'full English' as a hot choice. You could have as few or as many items on the list as you wish. Plenty of parking. Location was excellent in regard to access to main roads and thus access to the rest of the county. Compared to our stay at a top-class Glasgow hotel (where we made our own bed and bathrooms were cleaned only every 3 days..."staffing problems following Covid"), I would recommend this hotel for anyone touring N. Norfolk.

After visiting family I checked into the hotel for a few days relaxation and to have a couple of treatments in imagine before heading home .I loved every minute of it being pampered and relaxed and I just loved the size of the room ,very roomy and not cramped like a lot of hotels I've stayed in ,massive bed and even a small fridge

We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend in a Garden Room, which was quite a way from reception and the restaurant, but the walk did not involve any stairs. The room was a decent size with an extra large bed (didn't really need to be that big?). The bed itself seemed to be fairly modern and the bathroom looked like it had been refurbished in the not too distant past, although the shower involved climbing into the bath – so be aware if you're not too mobile. The rest of the room was very oddly furnished, was very dated and the soft furnishings looked very worn. The room had a small outside space with a metal table and chairs (no cushions) which had seen better days. Although the patio was in the shade for most of the day, if you were feeling energetic you can carry the chairs further out into the large garden space and get some sun. In fairness the room itself was clean. A few things to note – there was no fridge in the room, which for a hotel in this price band is unusual. The TV was in a strange position if you wanted to watch it in bed. Our towels were changed after the first night, but we were only given one set for the second night. The big bed was very comfortable and we did get a good nights sleep. The breakfast was fine with a reasonable choice (although they don't serve black pudding!). We ate our evening meal at the hotel on one night. There is no a la carte menu, just the choice from half a dozen Chef's Recommendations – which were reasonable as long as there was something you liked on the list. The service in the evening was perhaps too efficient as they seemed to want to get through the meal as quickly as possible. All in all, I would recommend the breakfast, but not the evening meal which was overpriced and did not offer enough choice for the price. Some areas of the outside of the hotel looked like they were unfinished projects. The swimming pool is ok, nothing out of the ordinary. There was no problem parking, even though some of the car park was a building site. The location of the hotel is convenient for the coast and Sandringham estate. I think we would return, if we were in the area, but eat elsewhere in the evening.

We stayed two nights recently to attend a wedding - even at a discounted rate it was massively overpriced. The hotel decor is very dated and at times felt like we were in a nursing home (especially at breakfast). The bedroom was in need of a refresh, looking tatty in places. There were also quite a few cobwebs in corners. Breakfast was okay but very limited in choice - only filter coffee available, no lattes etc and no hot food options aside from a full English.

If you're looking for a relaxing spa break keep looking. The pool is FILTHY & needs urgent modernisation, it's no where near the standard of any other spa I've ever visited. My friend had booked via Groupon and was ‘allowed' a robe & slippers & access to an extra (also dirty) area, whereas I had booked direct with the hotel & spa, we had paid the same, but I wasn't allowed a robe etc and was given a nasty scratchy towel & told I couldn't have a nicer one because I'd booked direct. The treatments we booked were nice if expensive. The staff told us not to go in certain areas as they had private functions, fair enough, except that left us nowhere to go, at one point I genuinely thought we'd have to sit in our car or bedroom!! Every single seated space was a no go area for us. We were very inconvenient and in the way. My hotel room was nice inside but looked like a nuclear bunker from outside, again silly me booking direct & paying full price. My friend's room was far superior. Some members of the various private functions enjoyed chatting & smoking outside my room in the small hours so my sleep wasn't even good. The pub food was good as was the service. It's very very dark in the pub & a bit cavey. Hotel breakfast was fine. Very expensive for what it was. ZERO luxury or relaxation. I'd strongly recommend going anywhere else

We were delighted with every aspect of our stay. From the moment of booking to departure, we found all the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! The room was excellent and well serviced by the housekeeping team. We ate dinner in both restaurants during our stay, and were pleased with the experience every time. Being early risers we also appreciated the 6.30 a.m. breakfast availability. The location is perfect for the North Norfolk attractions, and the ample hotel carparking facilities all contributed to its convenience and great value for money. Rating 10/10 Mike & Jane S

We were two couples and stayed two nights. The rooms were spacious and clean. The decor is generally worn and needs updating, especially for the room price. Most crucially, we found the food and service, especially breakfast, a complete rip-off. £15 a head for standard (and average tasting) cooked breakfast and some continental options. We asked if it was possible to get a hard-boiled egg instead of fried or scrambled and the answer was 'no'. You only get filter coffee, anything else (like a cappuccino) is charged extra. They can only accommodate glutenfree on very basic terms. Dairy-free is not catered for. One evening we went to the bar and found prices for a pint similar to London prices. Overall a rather disappointing experience and cannot recommend. Won't stay there again.

Visiting family for the weekend we usually stay in the Premier inn but, due to recent price increases, Knights Hill was only £10 more per night so thought we'd give it a try. Good points: location, free parking, friendly staff, quiet site, comfortable bed, plenty of tea/coffee, biscuits and water, it was a hot day so a fan had thoughtfully been left on in our room. Very clean. Poor points: bedroom and en suite very outdated. Several areas in the en suite were worn/damaged from wear and tear, e.g. damp woodwork had rotted. The pool needs complete refurbishment, lots of rusty/worn/damaged points. We attempted a swim but the water was murky so we doubted the quality and got out. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food or restaurant.

Very disappointed. I travel a lot for work and normally stay in Premier Inn or Holiday Inn type hotels, I thought I would treat myself this time and pay a bit more to stsy somewhere nice. I booked a garden room for £155 for 1 night. Don't be fooled there is no garden just lots of brick walls, noise from kitchen fans and the smell of cooking oil. The room was in need of a make over, chipped paint on all the doors, stains on carpet and generally depressing. I wish I'd book the Travelodge 10 mins away which was half the cost. Really not worth the money.

Very large rooms and extremely comfortable beds. All rooms have a balcony (both ground floor and 1st floor) which it was lovely to sit on in the early evening before dinner. Lots of choice at breakfast time, with food cooked to order. There is an onsite pub which we ate in twice as prices were very reasonable. The main hotel restaurants are quite expensive. Leisure centre is quite small and could do with updating but it served its purpose and I swam once or twice a day. Didn't go into the gym. Hotel is well situated for travelling round Norfolk, and I would definitely come again if returning to the area. Need to be aware that there is no lift, but bedrooms are on the ground or first floor and staff will readily assist with luggage.

This hotel is central position for many places in west Norfolk area, visited this time on business, how ever hotel is definitely one I want to return to for leisure, has great leisure with pool, spa and gym available to hotel guests, the food served in the garden restaurant is amazing quality, healthy and a great change from common hotel fare, choice of freshly served cooked breakfast rather than the buffet on offer in Many other hotels, service in restaurant was attentive and staff often checking that every was right, I had one issue with the lock on room wasn't working, but staff quickly resolved the issue and were polite and helpful throughout my stay.

We stayed for 1 night in two rooms. It was not our first choice due to the high cost and feeling from the website and reviews the place looked dated. Those impressions were correct. We had to stay in the courtyard rooms, which on entering both rooms smelt damp. It was a dark room, with stains on the carpet and marks on the wall. Bathroom was reasonably clean and we slept okay despite being close to a wedding party. The restaurant is not a great place to sit and eat a meal. It was expensive for something so simple, lamb was nice but an overcooked carrot with some new potatoes mashed on the plate was not worth £17 . Staff were friendly but the whole place feels dated and the £185 a night rooms totally over priced (sadly we had no choice but to stay there). Not sure how it's 4 star.

A brilliant day relaxing. Wonderful treatments, excellent customer service. Well worth a visit. Really good value for money. Late lunch really enjoyable. All staff very accommodating ensuring we enjoyed our day. We will certainly return.

Knights Hill Hotel never fails to give a comfortable stay its my local hotel which I have used on occasion for work. After a busy day at work the leisure facilities never fail to relax and unwind. The food is lovely always a good choice available. Rooms always clean and tidy .. Maybe I should try it for a personal stay...highly recommend.

Booked here for two nights into a executive room, we had room 147 that was on the end, a large room with lots of light that had an ensuite bathroom with a large corner bath, double sink, heated towel rail and separate shower. The balcony overlooked a field and we saw birds, rabbits and muntjac. A large double bed was a bit on the soft side but ok. Overall the room was nice however it is in need of a little attention in places but really requires updating as looking a bit outdated. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as lack of selection, some of the fresh fruit was out of a tin, quality sausage and bacon, the scrambled egg was below par, staff were all very nice. We are a couple of times in the Farmers pub and the food was ok, all the staff there were very friendly and helpful.

Audrey was very welcoming, pleasant and very friendly. Loved her pressure for leg massage. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, calm relaxing. Rooms beautifully love the facilities. Sauna, steam rooms pool. Robes& towels plentiful

We had a fantastic time at this hotel! We were given a room upgrade for our anniversary celebration and the room was decorated with that theme in mind! The breakfasts were amazing, so many choices and the hot food all cooked perfectly to order. We also celebrated a meal in the restaurant and the food was truly excellent! The waiting staff looked after us brilliantly, as did the reception staff! Thank you! Also loved meeting Benjamin Bunny, who took the biscuit, quite literally! Thank you to all at Knight's Hall for making our stay so perfect and so memorable!

Stayed in a big multi generation group for my mum's 70th birthday celebrations. My parents ate Friday night at the French Restaurant (we ate in way with the kids) & loved it. We all ate at the pub on Saturday & the staff were absolutely lovely. Pool was great & it's a fantastic location for exploring North Norfolk. There was a wedding Sat night & we were worried about the noise, however it was well away from where we were staying & we didn't hear a peep. The grounds were lovely too, nice big gardens for the kids to run around in. What really made it though was the staff who were so friendly & caring, even though they were very busy.

Having stayed twice at Knights Hill, we have found the staff to be co-operative, helpful and friendly, the room to be immaculate and the facilities excellent. Certainly it is now our "go-to" for overnight accommodation in the King's Lynn area.

We had a 2 night stay. On arrival the staff were very polite and informed us of breakfast and time choices, also details of the spa and restaurants. The room was spacious and very clean with the added bonus of a fridge. The bathroom was spotless and had a "His and hers " sink which was great . Great to be able to use the spa and other facilities. The farmers restaurant was also of excellent quality and we ate there both evenings. There was a good choice of food, and some of the menu changed daily. The staff were very polite in both the hotel and restaurant and nothing was too much trouble. We would defiantly stay here again

We stayed at the Knights Hill Hotel on Sunday 3rd May 2022, B+B for one night. We paid £145. We came to the hotel following many years of passing it en-route to the North Norfolk coast and as a treat for us to enable us to have a full day on Monday at the Sandringham Show. On arrival, we were asked for full payment for the room, before we had seen it. We weren't asked for a payment card for any potential room service or bar charges? We would expect this to be normal practice. We were not told where breakfast would be or directed to where the spa facilities were or given any opening times for these. In the end we asked if we could book breakfast for 9.00am but were told 8.45 or 9.15am only. Incidentally when we arrived at breakfast the dining room was half empty for the whole 45 minutes we were in there. When we reached our room (room 40) the first thing we noticed was that the patio doors were open. Security risks seemed possible and could we be certain that no one had used the room before we arrived? One of the things we like to do is to relax and watch TV in bed but as the TV was round a corner, behind a desk and chair and with no space to pull lounge chairs up to the TV to watch from there, we immediately rang reception and asked for our room to be changed. We were changed to room 45. Although room 45 was a little better as there were lounge chairs that could be pulled up, there was no way that we could watch TV from bed. The room was very large and felt very impersonal, not at all homely or cosy. There was mention of room service in the card on the desk but no room service menu. The bed was very large and also positioned opposite the bathroom meaning that we had to go in to the bathroom in the dark to prevent waking each other with the light. The room was very very hot. We immediately turned the thermostat right down to zero but this made no difference at all and we didn't sleep because of the heat. We opened the window but ground floor and person sized access meant we were also worried about security, again hampering our sleep. In the bathroom there were 2 half used rolls of toilet paper, and no tissues. We ran out of toilet paper in the night! Breakfast was lovely, great service and very nice hot food. This was the only redeeming factor of our stay. We tried to raise the issues with reception when we left but were dismissed with a sorry.... To say we are disappointed is an understatement. We did not expect a hotel of your reputation to be so poor.

We were supposed to stay 2 nights, managed just one. Walked out of the restaurant after failing to get our starters correct twice. Very run down, old fashioned and in need of a good revamp. Hate to say it but we compared it to Faulty Towers.

Took a group of 50 U3A members on a 4 night visit to Norfolk. The hotel took the booking at the last minute and we couldn't have done better. Nothing was too much trouble. Service was excellent as was the food. Good quality beds and bedding. Spotlessly clean. Nice pool. Plenty of lounge seating in the evening. There is no lift but only two floors. Luggage carried up and down stairs by hotel staff so no problem. We liked everything about this hotel.

Excellent situation to enable the exploration of the Broads A Comfortable clean room with a view ,a shower and a bath with hot water . The food choices were excellent and flavoursome ,and any request was immediately fullfilled

Room was okay, everything just feels so outdated and old. Bathroom was lovely, just need to be a bit more thorough, lots of long dark curly hairs left in bathtub. Wifi isn't the greatest and it's a little bit overpriced for what you get. Overall, it's okay. But I wouldn't stay again.

Our 2nd visit and again it didn't disappoint. Plenty of parking and has its own bar/restaurant . Staff very helpful and friendly and breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. We had balcony room which was very large with 2 easy chairs to lounge in.

We had a lovely stay for the Wedding. The staff were great. Everything ran smoothly. Rooms very comfortable. The setting is so beautiful. Food was amazing for a large group, staff did a brilliant job. Loved it. Would definitely return.

As we were on the Best Western mailing list, we took full advantage when we received the “48 for 48” special offer - an amazing £48 per room (deal available for 48 hours) We chose the Knights Hill as it had a spa attached and was close to local amenities, booked 2 nights at the end of March. When we arrived a little early for checking, we were greeted by a friendly helpful receptionist then had a coffee in the lounge while we waited till the room was ready. When we got to our room we couldn't believe that we had randomly been allocated one of the Garden Rooms which had doors onto a small private, terrace straight into the walled garden - at a normal price of £185 per night it would have been way over our normal budget. Whilst the change in the weather from the previous couple of weeks meant we weren't able to make the most of our good fortune and sit outside, we fully appreciated the tranquil views. The room was large, clean and with all the facilities expected for the top priced room. We made use of the free spa facilities and enjoyed a swim, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, all just a walk across the courtyard and then had dinner in the Garden Brasserie restaurant. This for us was the only disappointment of our stay as we felt it didn't have much atmosphere for dining, but the Farmers Arms also on the complex, was much more up our street and we ate there the next night. All of the staff we encountered, without exception were friendly and helpful and made our short stay very special. Had we known what a great place it was we would have definitely booked a longer stay - especially at the bargain price of the deal!

We came to this hotel as we have family that live all over the country and it was a very pleasant stay! The staff were all very helpful and very well trained with the knowledge of the hotel and its surroundings. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would 100% come back

We did the pamper night package as a much needed break from family life. It was well worth the money, room was lovely and was large. We used the pool, steam room and sauna at our own leisure on our day of arrival and then the next day used the spa.

Last minute 3 day trip to Kings Lynn and Hunstaton. Arrived at BW knights hill hotel and spa on Sunday 13th March 2.30pm. The reception staff promptly checked us in, not much of a fuss. We stayed in the executive room on the first floor. It had double bed with large ensuite bathroom. The room was very clean but quite warm. The warmth also affected the night's sleep. We had open the french doors at night. The room had a fridge, very useful. The shower was absolutely brilliant, almost a power shower. You had to give the reception the time to take breakfast, which was fine. The breakfast was very nice, good choice. The service were quick and efficient. The spa was in a separate building called The imagine. The pool was narrow but good lenght. The temp a little on a cooler side but fine once in the water. Jacuzzi was lovely. Steam and sauna was quite large and modern. The Changing room was large and clean. Need a pound coin for locker. We didn't use any Therapy packages. We had one evening meal located in the same area as the morning breakfast. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by a very friendly staff. Service was very good. The meal itself was nicely presented and both our meals were delicious. Overall the experience was positive and enjoyable.

More than I would usually pay but booked an extra night before starting a group holiday and thought it was reasonable value for money, taking into account the leisure facilities. Very comfy bed. Good breakfast. Very clean. Nice staff. Real ale in the associated pub... .

The room we had was very big which was great, however no mini fridge, TV bolted down so struggled to watch telly in bed. The restaurant over priced and menu limited however nice pub restaurant on grounds which had lovely food. Pool very cold. Beds comfy. We got to see some deer outside our bedroom which was nice. Dont expect an ice bucket because you won't get one. Got a pint of melting ice which lasted one drink. Room service has a £3 charge everytime you use on top of expensive items so we refused to use it. Staff very friendly.

Stayed 2 nights, two adults plus dog. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, the facilities were great. We really couldn't fault it, and if we stay in the area again, it will be at this hotel.

Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Ate in hotel one night and menu limited but very well Presented and tasted great. Great to have pub in the grounds . Used pool facilities which were good. Only criticism would be changing rooms at pool need upgrade and parts of the hotel looking bit dated now but they've had a tough time recently and we need to support our hotels etc to get back on their feet. Would recommend and would stay again . Very relaxing winter break.

This is a fantastic hotel. Clean, warm and comfy. Great parking with huge wide spaces, rapid check in. Pub you can crawl to with good food. Birds start singing early. Epic shower and a bed that got this insomniac straight to sleep both nights. A very high standard. We'll done best Western.

We had a really lovely stay in this hotel for just one night. We were upgraded to a master room which was a lovely surprise, it was a really big room with a lovely view. It was nice to stay in a hotel which had oodles of really hot water! We made full use of the spa and enjoyed a really tasty breakfast in the morning. All the staff we came across were friendly and helpful. Some areas of the hotel and the spa need a little TLC and are getting a tad tired and the cooked breakfast was quite a long wait but it really didn't matter as overall we had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Hadn't stayed away from home for three years so I felt nervous but I had a funeral to attend in the area. Well I found Knights Hill to be perfect for my needs and very reassuring as to safety considerations. It isn't far from the railway station by taxi and occupies an expansive site in a very pleasant location. I booked direct with the hotel at a great price to include breakfast, for two nights in an annexe room. On my arrival the very pleasant Receptionist accommodatingly upgraded this to a room in the main hotel, checking I was ok with the first floor and offering help with my suitcase. I found the room, overlooking the garden restaurant and fields beyond, to be immaculately clean, with a comfortable king-size bed. The en-suite bathroom was a good size, had a window, radiator and bath with shower. It was super-clean and fully functional if somewhat dated by today's standards. I had expressed a preference for a quiet room and number 122 fitted the bill perfectly. I didn't use the big flat-screen TV and there were no noises to drown out as I read. In fact I caught up on some badly-needed sleep, without any distractions. The window had both roller blind and curtains. 24-hour room service is offered for a very reasonable charge but I booked dinner in the hotel restaurant on the first night and my meal from the a la carte menu didn't disappoint: a very pleasant experience. Breakfast was superb, with juices, mixed fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast and cereals from the buffet then tea or coffee brought to your table and freshly cooked "full English" or any combination in a quantity and at a time of one's choosing! My fried eggs were perfectly flipped with the bright yolks still soft. In short, a foody bliss start to the day. I had time to swim 20 lengths of the adequately-proportioned pool just before closing time without feeling in any way unwelcome and the staff there, in what is an extremely pleasant facility, are most helpful. First-rate hotel and very good value for money - thumbs up all round!

Had often seen this hotel while stuck in the traffic to Hunstanton and thought we would give it a go. The staff are all very friendly and professional. The place is spotless but decorated in a late eighties/ early nineties style but I didn't mind that. Massive rooms and huge beds. Had dinner in the Farmers pub and it was the nicest meal I have had in a long time. Prices were very reasonable too. Used the spa twice and it was just right for a relaxing hour. Would definitely go again!

The staff were lovely and always happy to help. Breakfast was exceptional and the room was clean and spacious. Lots of wildlife on the grounds surrounding the hotel and could easily be seen while having breakfast. A lovely added bonus we definitely be staying again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast excellent and well cooked with great variety. Really enjoyed the swimming pool. The whole hotel was really well cared for and the staff exceptional.

We booked this hotel as it states on the website "PETS ACCEPTED" but this in fact is not true. Pets are only welcome in the Courtyard Hotel rooms and outside grounds, so if you are happy leaving your dogs in the room and spending your relax time in your room instead of in the Hotel bar etc then this is the hotel for you, but this is not what we booked and in fact did not pay £45 per dog for!!!!!

Great location, but overpriced. Should be a 3 star, not 4. Very tired and dated decor. Evening meal was average, vegetables over cooked; not worth what we paid. Plus points Garden Room size was great, lovely big bed. Friendly and helpful staff.

The overall rates of the hotel and thursford was brilliant it was a lovely 2 days and l would highly recommend it and holt was a lovely village ,norwich was to long there could have had more time in holt more perfered

My friend and I went for an afternoon tea as a treat for my birthday. Well a treat it was not , we had dry bread finger sandwiches, clotted cream in a jar that definitely didn't taste at all like it should and cakes that looked like they just dashed down the road to Asda to purchase then cut then in half and chucked on the plate. It was no way a special treat at all and I felt very disappointed. We were put into a very tired out side room on our own with worn out sofas and chairs with no atmosphere at all. The staff were all very pleasant but sadly the food wasn't Upto scratch and at £15.95 per person I feel that we were robbed. I did email the hotel to tell them of our disappointing visit but they haven't even had the decency to reply to it at all. So in all I would definitely NOT recommend anyone to go here for an afternoon tea..

We stayed at the hotel as part of a coach tour . We were greeted on arrival by the staff who took our cases off the bus - very nice touch . The staff were mostly young and very friendly and efficient . One member Hannah was particularly helpful . The only exception was a middle aged lady who acted as a greeter in the breakfast room , she was extremely bad tempered and rude . Our room was lovely very clean and well decorated . We would definitely stay there again but would be happier if met with a smile at breakfast time

Visited here for a night away with my partner. We were given a room very close to the reception and seating area near the bar. By 9.30pm we could hear people's conversations and that's with our tv on. We then discovered we were next to hotel toilets and could hear flushing of toilets as the walls were that thin. Such an odd place to put a bedroom!! We requested to move and the receptionist found us another room, albeit a twin but we took that over being up all night because of the noise. The new twin room was spacious however badly needs updating. First room was not very modern but the twin one was like stepping into a time zone, as if we went back in time. See photos for an example of the decor. It is a shame as the hotel would be a lot more appealing with a more modern touch. We laughed about it and got on with our evening. The beds were unfortunately hard and uncomfortable (as if it wasn't bad enough we were in separate beds on our night away together) and mattresses slid about as soon as you turned over…so if your looking for a bit of romance one of you is going to end up being rogered into the bathroom on the mattress during the process. The heater in the bathroom had no temperature valve so it was roasting hot the whole time and also surely a health and safety issue. The breakfast we ordered to come to the room as a treat, a cold sausage, anaemic toast with no butter and no sauce provided and they want £3 service/ tray charge to deliver it to the room. For what I don't know?! Jacuzzi was broken at the spa and a local member we spoke to said every week something gets broken and they take ages to fix it. That says a lot. Positives: staff were friendly and polite, the swimming pool access and meal at onsite pub were not bad. Overall it is definitely not a 4 star place, not great for young ish couples (a couple of 30 year olds) more appealing for those who have no taste in decor or don't mind feeling like they are staying in a hotel that clearly hasn't been updated in 20 odd years. It has lot of potential and it needs to have time and money invested in it. Unfortunately for £125 a night it wasn't worth it and we won't be visiting again, Pictures on website are deceiving!

Hotel's fine, big room, decent wifi, OK breakfast. There isn't much around, but that's Norfolk.. The only bugbear was being pestered for payment after, despite having paid up front through a booking agent - and then having to go through the rigmarole of demonstrating said payment after the fact.

The hotel has lovely huge very well equipped rooms with tea and coffee making facilities and very comfortable beds. The food at dinner and breakfast was very tasty and well cooked. The staff are fantastic in all areas and willing to help should help be required. Would definitely recommend.

On first impressions the room didn't look as modern as the stock photos on their website. It was peach with green carpets and probably needed a freshen up. The bathroom paint was peeling. The main radiator had a broken valve, but arriving at 10pm after a 5 hour drive I didn't fancy contacting reception asking them to fix it and wanted to get to bed. I was really hot all night which resulted in a less than restful sleep. For the price I didn't think it was good value and I've been in far nicer best western hotels

Got fed up packing boxes to move house. I needed a break so booked into the hotel. It was the spa that attracted me which was clean and very welcome. Both the sauna and swimming pool were great. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and cheerful. The pub next door was fine for dinner. Nothing special menu wise but the food was what was expected and enjoyed.

Stayed at Knights Hill Hotel for one night room was quite large nice comfy bed . Bathroom had a bath with shower overhead found the room to be quite warm at night even though radiator was off so had windows open slightly . Would have been nice to have bottled water in room . Had breakfast here was satisfactory .

A very enjoyable spa stay. Lovely big room, warm and large white fluffy towels. A must in my opinion. Everything spotless. The staff were helpful and full of smiles. Delicious meal in the Restaurant. Best mushroom sauce in a long while. Breakfast choice had good quality ingredients. Only slight disappointment was one single malt in the bar .Maybe not many whisky drinkers stay here.

My wife and I spent an enjoyable 4 nights at this hotel whilst touring around North Norfolk. Our accommodation was very good with a large bedroom, with a king sized bed and four armchairs, that opened on to a veranda overlooking the garden. The room was comfortable and quiet and well maintained. We ate breakfast each day and there was a very good selection of hot and cold dishes. We also enjoyed dinner on our first night, in the Brasserie. Service throughout the hotel was friendly and efficient and we would be happy to stay there again.

We booked this hotel within a week of travel. It was amazing. We have sometimes been disappointed with Best Western but not on this occasion.Staff couldn't do enough and breakfast was not and tasty. Plenty of free parking and a pub in site as well if you don't want fine dining in hotel.

This was our first leisure break since first lockdown, trouble free, relaxed stay, in a restful atmosphere. The staff were all polite and helpful. The room was very spacious, quiet, with a very comfortable bed!

Booked this hotel for a short spa break for special birthday for my partner. We weren't informed the boiler had broken at the Spa, either prior to our arrival or when we got there. The pool was freezing cold, the jacuzzi over crowded as a result so we couldn't use it and no hot water in the showers. We had to walk back in the cold in our towels across the courtyard to our room to have a hot shower. There was a sign apparently at the entrance to the spa, but people were standing there so we didn't see it. Reception didn't check we knew and just handed us towels. The Spa is dated and basic. The room was fine, the breakfast and service good. The boiler had broken on the Saturday and we arrived on the Monday to find it wasn't being fixed till the Wednesday. A local couple using the Spa said they would have to start looking at using another health club as it was always breaking down. It would have been nice of the hotel to have emailed us to let us know the Spa situation so that we could have cancelled and re-booked. When I emailed the Deputy Manager, the response was uncaring and rushed and they basically said 'sorry you felt like that'! For me that wasn't good enough, we did not get what we booked and paid for and the management didn't care less. I then emailed the Director, via the General Manager - no response at all. We may be one customer in hundreds, but every customer should count. It's a shame as we have used the group's other premises at Old Hunstanton for many years, but feel quite differently now after the poor senior management customer service. The location is not as good as other places, so I would not recommend it for a Spa Break and if something goes wrong don't expect a good response.

We stayed for four nights with our two adult daughters and we all had a wonderful stay. From check-in to check-out all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had dinner on three nights and very much enjoyed our meals. The service was excellent and the fact that the menu changed daily was a very pleasant surprise.

for peace and quiet for a mini-complex with delicious spa (including 'fire and ice' option, swimming pool and a wide range of therapies) and sweet converted old barn into Farmer's Bar and Restauarant on the same site for getting into Kings Lynn,Sandringham and the North Norfolk coast with mininum driving hassle for peace and quiet and comfort for a lovely bed

If you want a laid back break in a quiet but wonderful part of the country I don't think you can get much better. The staff here are all wonderful, the facilities are fantastic - restaurant, bar, pub, gym, spa, country walks and a coastal bus service is cheap and frequent too. Sandringham, Kings Lynn & Castle Rising are all a must see as is the beautiful Norfolk coastline to the north... I find the rooms a little too hot for my liking but that is all I can find that I would like changed!

Just got home from a spa break at the hotel . Was a little worried with some of the reviews on here but didn't need to be . We had an amazing day at the spa , a lovely afternoon tea and dinner in the garden brassiere . We checked in at 2pm and found our room which was clean tidy and very spacious. Every staff member was friendly and polite . Such an amazing weekend , thank you so much !

Following a recent funeral reception held at the hotel, I would like to thank all the staff at Knights Hill for their kindness and hospitality during a difficult time. Staff were very courteous,helpful and efficient,and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation and rooms were very comfortable and the facilities extremely good. The food was excellent and they were able to provide for someone who had a special diet. Feedback from the guests who attended was extremely positive. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and service we received at this hotel.

Room was very tired, creaking floors needs a good paint. Quilt soiled with poo stain which I didn't notice until the following morning and it wasn't me as it was on the side I never slept. Think they need to up their game. Sad they they are exploiting the market following covid

Very disappointed in our stay here for what we thought was a beautiful luxurious hotel (as stated online) to have a spa relaxing weekend away. Hotel is very dated, needs a refurbish, furniture needs replacing cleanliness was poor. We had a leak in our courtyard room coming from the ceiling lights in three different places. Our bathroom needed a lot of work and a new shower tray, the plug was blocked also. Dinning was poor, no atmosphere, just silence, no bubbly communication when served food. Not sure why we had to reserve a table as it was not busy. This hotel is not ideal for young aged people. Spa was dated and didn't feel or look clean, the spa rooms smelt like feet. Everywhere we looked there was something broken. When asked to sit on the green sofa to fill in our forms we had to tell the staff what we were having again buy looking up online as this wasn't on record. When called through for treatment we were referred to as who is having the,….. not by our names with which treatment we were having. Damp walls in changing rooms and flies around the used dressing robe bins. Damp towels were in treatment rooms which they wanted us to cover up with. We have stayed at other imagine spas with a much more professional friendly experience. This was not a professional experience. We will not be back here unfortunately.

First time visitors, very impressed, we had a superior garden room, spacious, with own patio in garden area..Bathroom and shower were great. Large car park, handy location for coast. Every one of the hotel/pub staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was excellent. In evening we ate in Farmers Arms pub, part of hotel, very good meal and top notch service from Kerry.. Already booked up for two more visits and bringing along family and friend. highly recommended.

We were a party of 13 staying for a family birthday celebration. All the staff were amazing, so friendly, helpful, polite and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They kept us topped up with drinks during dinner. The breakfast was freshly cooked which was lovely and dinner was really good too. The beds and pillows were super comfy too.

We stayed at this hotel for a party staff was lovely and friendly , but the hotel is just too dated it needs to be freshened up a lot we was placed in a room with kids the furthest away from everything and with a buggy up stairs wasn't great

Good facilities on site, including a pleasant garden area for a warm evening. Our room was well-kept and comfortable, though a continuous hum from appliances in the bar area below was a little disturbing at night. This may just have been unfortunate choice of room but an issue management should address. Excellent base for touring in the area and for access to Kings Lynn two or three miles away

We stayed 3 nights at this Hotel. Large comfortable room and the food was excellent - much better than I had expected. I particularly appreciated having a proper lounge area where I could have a very good morning coffee.

We booked a 'Spa Break' and went by the beautiful photos listed online. When arriving, we were situated on an extremely busy area meaning getting in and out the hotel was horrific! The 'spa' is a hyped gym area! The steam room smelt of damp and the pool was freezing cold! Absolute opposite to what the photos online show and 'promise'. We got a courtyard room, there was empty bottles of cider outside our room and we were located near the pub kitchen so it was smelly and loud. Rooms are outdated and freezing cold, when advising reception that we needed a heater, we got given a small poxy thing that kept overheating and smelling of fire. The safe didn't work, we reported this three times and it didn't get rectified. The cooked breakfast was cold and disgusting. OVERPRICED AND A BIGGED UP GYM!

Rather than the pleasant country surroundings and views as billed in the hotel blurb online, this hotel is disappointingly sited on a busy roundabout which doesn't make for the most tranquil setting for the pub outside area in particular. It's a functional, clean rather corporate hotel which in some common areas (and our bathroom) could benefit from a refurb and refresh.

First things first, this hotel (typical of a Best Western) needs modernising: it clearly hasn't been touched since it opened and feels dated as a consequence. However, there are many, many positives about this hotel which made it a perfect pit stop to break up our journey from the Norfolk coast to the East Midlands:- The staff are friendly and helpful (and were wearing masks, unlike many guests, which was great to see); our ground floor room was huge with a door opening onto a patio area with seating; the large bed and pillows were super comfy with good quality linen; the room was clean (ensuite was a bit dusty and the taps a bit rusty, but nothing major); our room service order from the onsite pub was efficiently delivered (basic pub grub, nothing special, perhaps a little overpriced but perfectly adequate) breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and despite being on a main road, the hotel felt quiet with lots of greenery surrounding the building. There are spa facilities too, but we didn't use those so cannot comment. So, if you want a decent and relaxing stay, book here.

Easy to book and friendly helpful staff. The lighting in the room was a little dingy but to be fair we didn't ask for it to be changed. The pool and jacuzzi were cold but we enjoyed the steam room. Breakfast was well organised and a good choice.

While the hotel advertises that it's dog friendly and provides ‘dog' friendly rooms for an extra £15 a night you can not eat your breakfast inside. The patio area is fine when the weather is good but it's not covered so not much fun in the rain. There is no provision for eating inside, so no breakfast! This was not explained when booking so be warned.

Excellent service from staff. It was only one night booked on the morning of arrival. We booked two twin rooms, which were placed opposite each other which was perfect. On arrival one was set as a King bed, which was immediately re-organised as a twin. Bathrooms were very nice. Enjoyed the use of the spa facilities and pool. Good food. Disappointed with the condition of the tennis court which had been looking forward to using, but in the end it was unusable

In a word, fantastic! From check in, to departure, we loved this hotel. The bed was amazing, a very peaceful nights sleep, a lovely deep bath and powerful shower, a lovely balcony and even a glimpse of the sea, delicious breakfast and excellent service. We didn't have the evening meal, but having now seen the menu, we will certainly try it next time. We are off to visit Sandringham house and gardens now, but we will definitely return in the very near future. Thank you.

Had the misfortune to stay here for a night. The room was spacious but that's were the good stuff ends. For simplicity sake I just list the issues and let you decide if this is a four star hotel. No air conditioning, just a small 9 inch fan….. Fan not working in the bathroom (no opening windows) so all smells retained in the room Soaking wet patch in the carpet by the side of the bed Tatty bed (see pictures) Cheap Pillows for single beds rather than a correct double width bed (see pictures) tatty and worn equipment Constant bad smell in the room Spoke to reception and they said there were no other rooms as they had a wedding on……. Should have smelled a rat when they asked me to pay for the stay on check in……. More fool me. Best Western claim this as a superior hotel, I would hate to see their standard hotels… Sorry I don't seem to be able to add photos, so they should have been a really tatty and dirty bed base, a broken safe, a TV on a old random piece of furniture and tatty light switch.

We stayed here for a family wedding and I have to say that it was excellent from start to finish. I managed to book a massage and it also was excellent, the room, grounds and facilities were second to none. I would definitely recommend

Everything was seamless and easy, from the initial friendly check-in to using the facilities. We stayed with two teenagers - they had a separate interconnecting room, which was a mirror image of ours. This was the garden room, and a room that I would go for again, particularly with it's patio doors onto a lovely walled garden, which overlooks a wild meadow. Yes, I've read reviews that some of the furnishings are dated, but this really didn't detract from the comfort and space that we experienced. All the furnishings are co-ordinated and in my opinion, still have life left in them. In these times, you don't want to follow 'fast interiors', just because a few clients may not like the colour scheme. I happened to like the warm colours very much. The garden rooms are large, with a 'lounge' area, which houses 4 armchairs, a coffee table and TV. There is plenty of storage space in these rooms, so you don't feel cramped in the space. One of the best things in the room was the bed - the mattress was so comfortable that I had to ask the reception staff for the name. We all had a great quality of sleep. The bedding was just right for this time of year and if you get too hot, then fans are already provided in the room. Our bathroom had a great shower over the bath - a real powerful jet of water, which felt like a massage. Funnily enough our teenagers' shower wasn't as powerful as ours and the temperature did have a tendency to change, whilst ours stayed constant. The swimming pool was used every day and it is a perfect size with no big 'deep end', which I loved and the temperature was just right. There is also a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, which we used every day. Children are allowed until 6pm and then it is adults only. The breakfast was a welcome start to the day and the waiting staff were attentive and very efficient and responsive - a great service, which was consistent every day. There is a booking system, whereby you book a slot for breakfast, for instance we attended at 9:15 am every day. You are never rushed and your hot breakfast is delivered to your table very quickly, considering they are so busy. Equally, the reception staff I couldn't fault as they were friendly and helpful too - good customer service makes all the difference and I hope the hotel continues in this way when they recruit new staff. Location-wise, this was a great choice. We met up with friends who were also on a break in Brancaster, and visited Wells-next-the-sea, Sheringham, Holt, Burnham Market, Oxburgh Hall, Castle Rising, to name a few places. On our last night we discovered the lovely side of Kings Lynn, with a historical architecture and next time, I would set aside a little more time to visit this place. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone wanting a good base to explore the north coast of Norfolk. The only minus I would note is that the hotel needs to explore new key cards for the rooms, as these were always a case of 'hit and miss' and when they worked the first time around, it was like you'd won the lottery! ps. look out for the grass-chomping bunny rabbit that hangs around the spa outside - so cute!

Our room was terrible but we were given what we had asked for in terms of facilities. Some of our issues were not discovered until after our first night and as we were only stopping 3 more we put up with what we would otherwise have refused to stay in. Chair fabric was stained; bathroom door wouldn't close; peddle bin did not work; net curtains ripped. For its "rating" I would have expected a safe and a fridge. Particularly the later as the room was very hot and no air con; had a small fan to try and keep the room bearable which it did.

We have just spent 5 nights at the Best Western Knights Hill hotel & Spa. What a great hotel. We stayed in a court room which are rooms with their own independent doors which is great if you have your dog. He was allowed to sit outside in the hotel bar/restaurant area but if you want a meal/drink inside there is a pub next door. The Farmers Arms which is also owned by Best Western and they have a dog area inside. We ate in the pub and at the hotel. The food in both was excellent. The staff at the hotel go above and beyond to make your stay special. We used the spa. Swimming pool and gym every day. The breakfast each morning was great. Plenty of continental things to choose and all hot food cooked to order and was always nice and hot. The hotel is ideally situated for Kings Lynn but only takes about 30 minutes to Hunstanton and just up the road from Sandringham. Our 5 nights have been perfect and we will definitely stay again. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionist Tracy. Our room was spacious and had access to an attractive garden. The swimming pool was not large but was never crowded - the showers were spotless. The weather was warm and we were able to eat breakfast and dinner outside on the terrace. The waiters were efficient and friendly - Christine was very helpful.

I stayed here for a family wedding. The hotel needs a total uplift. The rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment. The price was too much for the room we got it was so hot with a fan that done nothing.

Stayed here two nights and were fortunate to be given an upgrade. We'd already seen my sisters room which was very large by most hotel standards and was expecting the same but on opening the door to our room was greeted by a massive room with a huge bed, big bathroom with jack and Jill sinks, big bath and really powerful shower. There was a door in the room which revealed another single bedroom with another bathroom. Wonderful. My sisters room overlooked the garden but our view was a rather unkempt area. We dined in the first night but was disappointed that our braised beef was very tough, the other courses were fine but it seemed expensive for what it was. The breakfast was very nice. Limited buffet selection but hot food cooked to order and very tasty. We enjoyed the pre-booked swimming pool and jacuzzi and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay but felt some areas within and especially outside need some TLC.

We decided to start our week in Norfolk a day early so booked Kings Mill 2 hours before we got there. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The shower was the most powerful shower I have ever been in! Dinner was really good. The hotel seemed very Covid secure. We used the pool which was great. You had to make an appointment due to Covid restrictions but this was good as there were just 2 other people in there.

We booked two nights here to start our Norfolk break. Good base to tour North coast. Garden room nice but no AC so very warm. Large room and very clean ... but due to covid they don't service the room. I must admit hard to understand why as other hotels do. Gym very dated and hot. Pool OK. Staff very helpful.

I consider this hotel is one of the best in Kings Lynn area. Excellent food and room service with pleasure. The hotel honored the requests of the customers. We highly recommend this hotel for both business and pleasure with family

It was the cleanliness all around the hotel that stood out. Restaurant food quality was excellent. Easy parking. Lovely grounds. Our room, was very welcoming, with a lovely carpet and great decor. The en-suite was spotlessly clean.

A very pleasant stay for 3 nights . This hotel is definitely one of the best BW hotels we have stayed with. The garden restaurant has a good, varied menu andan excellent chef. Staff are efficient , pleasant and helpful . The room we had was spacious and clean. Due to covid, the room service is diminished but if you ask, staff will provide whatever is required. The pub on site provides draught beer and a different menu. ( didnt try that, maybe next time) Generally the hotel provided an excellent venue for a relaxing break. Will definitely stay again

It's 4 star Jim, but not as we know it. The staff are friendly, welcoming, polite and keen to assist. They appear to lack training, I comment I noted various other guests commenting on. The property is tired with a lot of minor damage and scuff marks throughout including the pool. The décor is very dated, dark and heavy drapes and old fashioned furniture in the room we had. The lounge bar and 2 rooms off of it feel like an old fashioned club and not in a good way. Ordering drinks was challenging: ask to see the menu. Food at dinner was actually good: the menu changes daily, the fish was cooked very nicely, there was a charcuterie starter one evening that was very good, the cheese board is also not all bad. Being a fussy eater I asked for all sorts of variations on the menu, all happily carried out. Short, good value wine list. Breakfast: orders are written down yet daily were wrong. Also, the fact that we had booked B&B was not passed on the the restaurant and we were billed for breakfast (rectified when pointed out). An error? Money making? Bathrobes not allowed, "due to Covid". We came home 2 days early in the end.

Tired 90”s BW properly with identity crisis, good location, facilities (basic spa) and pleasant staff. I last stayed here in the 1990's and it literally hasn't changed! Aside from the abundance of temporary and Covid signs (like a hospital). Feared it might be a bit basic, so I / we booked an “executive room” - just awful so rejected it!, room 2 a “Family room” was much worse, the smell!!!!…. The Porter mentioned something about the carpet still being wet!, so on to room before I made my our stay or drive home decision. Room 3, a 4 poster room with £50 I/ we did accept. A good bed but with cheap pillows, powdered coffee, a good shower (cheap soap etc) but plenty of light and room delivered a comfortable nights stay overall. Breakfast was pretty average. The owners and BW need to invest in this property.

Once you get past the fact that the location of this hotel makes it look like a glorified service station there are some really good things about this hotel. The staff are friendly. The rooms are very clean. The terrace and garden are really lovely and great for sitting out in, for breakfast or dinner. I enjoyed my swim in the pool. The bar is staffed by young people who are keen, courteous and obviously learning their role which is completely understandable in these times, The worst thing apart from the location. The wine. It really was terrible. All in all, a very good hotel.

We had a morning in the spa and afternoon tea in the garden restaurant. Treatments were fantastic great therapists Sammi and Toni. I usually have a problem with afternoon tea as I'm vegan and often you get very limited selection. This is the 2nd time we have had afternoon tea here (first one's back in December pre lockdown). Chef is amazing and accommodating but best to give notice when you book that you want vegan, choice is fabulous and very tasty,all you can drink tea and coffee. Pearl the waitress can't do enough for you and is really friendly and nice. Definitely will be back.

This was or first trip away after the various Covid lockdowns and I have to say that the hotel coped exceptionally well in the circumstances. They were not servicing rooms but anything that one wanted like clean mugs or fresh milk were readily brought to our room. The spacious room itself was a delight, ground floor with double doors opening onto a lovely garden. Staff were pleasant and always willing to help. The Brasserie was a great place to eat with super food, we ate one night at The Farmers, the attached pub, a not to be repeated experience with very slow service and a fish meal that should have been wonderful as the fish looked excellent but was far too overcooked.

Rooms a little tired, but despite Covid the staff are friendly presenting good customer service. Good gym and pool facility, pub on site with good menu. Although being near a busy road, the room was quiet and pretty lawn seating areas.

Excellent service during lockdown whilst staying due to work commitments. Hotel was very clean, you could smell the cleanliness as well, receptionist was polite helpful and pleasant. Flexible with food options as well and efficient with the room service.

Have stayed here before covid and used the gym and restaurant excellent Obviously no gym or pool this visit . Evening meal was pretty budget but breakfast excellent and room service which is great considering current climate

stayed a night to get away from the house with the wife and had a great evening. great room which was clean and tidy. breakfast was good and staff were helpfull and friendly, especially Elliot whom helped us on arrival.

we had a courtyard room as we took our little dog. Ate in main restaurant and was nice albeit a little quiet but suspect most of that due to covid restrictions apparenty ours had been recently decorated so it was all fresh and clean

We had an overnight stay here this weekend which I had booked pre lockdown. We combined it with afternoon tea in the Gareden/bar restaurant and treatments in the spa on the Sunday. From start to finish it was a joy. Staff were polite and helpful. The food was amazing and I had choice a bit of a novelty as a vegan(I had pre warned I was vegan on booking). Nothing was too much trouble. Toni and Lucinda gave the most fantastic deep tissue massages that my husband and I have had anywhere. We will definitely be back.

Another wonderful stay at this hotel. The reception staff are so very attentive and welcoming as usual. We use this hotel as a stop over before visiting my elderly mother in Downham Market and they truly make every effort to ensure the customers come first. Obviously with Covid your breakfast is now served to you and not buffet and the staff work extremely hard to ensure everyone is looked after during your chosen time. Our room was lovely and had a balcony and as the afternoon was sunny we could relax with a glass of wine just looking over the fields. My husband had a conference meeting the following morning before we went to see mum and the WiFi was brilliant. They have coped extremely well with Covid measures and the you are constantly seeing house keeping around doing a fabulous job. Well done to you all and thank you for always looking after us. We had two interconnecting garden rooms for our family of 4 (2 boys aged 9 and 11). The rooms were huge and we could have been in the same room. As the weather was fairly miserable, the extra space was appreciated. If we had been able to use the seating area outside then perhaps one room would have been sufficient. We had room service for dinner, breakfast was well organised, I guess a fridge in the room would have been nice, but that's not advertised so it's not as if we would have expected it. We managed to get a slot for the pool quite easily, and the covid measures were evident. We would go back.

The hotel is lovely to look at in the outside and the grounds are well kept. We used the spa every day which was great and they have a brand new sauna. Do not get a massage!!! My partner and I both had one and experienced the same thing from two different girls. (When using hands far too soft and if you want pressure they use their elbows) Was in pain for days after. Breakfast was very good with the various options.

We went for Afternoon Tea in the main restaurant. The location was lovely, beautiful setting. However, we were quite disappointed with the service We received - the waitress wasn't sure what she was giving us .. “brownies, lemon drizzle...apricot or something I'm not sure.” After which she just left with nothing else said. We were then left for over an hour before we had to get up to go and ask for another drink. The food - some of the bread was a little stale and there was a small piece of mold on one of the scones. Cakes however were lovely and tasty :) Nice hot chocolates! Tea was fine however we did have a leaking teapot... We did later get in touch with the hotel who did respond quickly and first offered a voucher for a second Afternoon Tea. As we didn't really want to try it again, we asked for a refund which they did issue.

Disappointing ! One of this hotel that looks good on pictures but this was seriously disappointing in reality. Our both rooms were dirty with dirty carpet, smelly rooms and moldy curtains Tennis court was not useable as there as a broken net and we called in advance to make a tennis booking as we are players Breakfast was average Stuff was unfriendly We were awake 4 times during the night by the fire alarm due to a fault. We all ended up in pj in the parking at midnight and 2am in the rain I guess it can happen but stuff did not even acknowledge the inconvenience There are so many other charming hotels in the area at better prices, I would really encourage to not chose this hotel

Have been staying at the knights hill on a long stay arrangement now for two months as working locally, the rooms are very comfortable. Cleanliness of the rooms and Covid compliance very good. Location is quiet and convenient for Norfolk. Have used the inspire spa for swimming and it is excellent, Hotel and Brassiere food good value and tasty. All the staff for the hotel and spa are friendly and cannot do enough to ensure your stay is the best it can be.

We stayed for 3 nights in a superior room on a DBB basis. The room was very large and clean but was quite a hike from reception. Our only minor gripe was the heating control which could have been much more sensitive and resulted in extreme hot or cold. The quality and choice of food in the restaurant was mainly good with a set menu which changed each night. However the food was obviously largely precooked which meant prompt service but both the lamb and duck we ordered were overdone. For a hotel running an on-site pub, the choice of beers was abysmal consisting entirely of foreign brands. Why not a single British ale? Under covid rules, breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before. Again the quality was good and service prompt but slightly let down by a lack of any fruit or choice of eggs (fried only). All the staff were friendly and efficient. We are Best Western Rewards members and are constantly bombarded with emails containing special offers. Be very careful with these as we found that booking a DBB short break directly was significantly cheaper than the claimed 3 nights for the price of 2 in an email. The Best Western website is deliberately confusing offering multiple deals at vastly differing rates, and even having different names for the same class of room. Despite the minor glitches, we'd definitely return given the same deal.

After Covid-19 made us have to alter our wedding 3 times we finally married at Knights Hill Hotel in the garden restaurant and I cannot praise the staff enough especially Tom Mitchell who was absolutely brilliant and reassuring throughout all the changes. I stayed the night before the wedding in a beautiful spacious room with a small balcony and lots of natural light room 147 I highly recommend. We should have stayed the second night but cancelled as we couldn't have friends to help us celebrate due to the rule of 6 ☹️ The wedding breakfast was of brilliant quality and the staff most obliging.

Stayed here for 1 night only. Just as well as I found it to be overpriced and underwhelming. Couldn't even get into our room as card wouldn't unlock the door. Had to walk back to reception and then wait in the drizzle until someone came out and reprogrammed the lock. Once in the room discovered that despite room being booked for 2 adults there was only 1 bath towel. Took ages for an answer from reception to get another towel brought to the room. Room had another single bed in it although it was booked as a double only and the carpet was dirty and stained and should have been replaced years ago by the look of it. Shower head was fixed so you couldn't wash any intimate areas properly. All in all we would of been better booking into a premier inn at a fraction of the cost. Won't be staying again.

We stayed two nights at the Knights Hill, a rambling complex but sympathetic outwardly. Our room had pleasant views over the fields and was comfortable and spacious with furnishings and decor from hotel corporate. The bathroom was up to standard with shower over bath, w.c., wash basin. Some rooms have walk in shower. Although the hotel is located by a main road roundabout the hotel was quiet inside. There is an onsite pub, a few strides down the driveway; it had a chain pub feel to the atmosphere and the decor was pseudo olde worlde. We instead dined in the hotel dining room which had a cold souless atmosphere to it not helped by the stark bright lighting. One evening we were seated by the light switches which had dimmer controls so I adjusted the lights down and that helped. The dining room decor also didn't help. There were large windows in the dining room that gave extensive views out over fields. As for the menu, the limited choices changed nightly, but were imaginative and the food was quite good as was the service. It would be so easy to make the dining room more hospitable: soften the lighting, occasional floor plants, some accessories to break up the monotony of the room. Shame because the the food was very enjoyable. The other public areas suffered from over bright lighting as well. Covid measures seemed up to the mark and staff were polite and helpful. Overall, a pretty average hotel despite it's title, 'Signature'. But with some basic adjustments in the dining room and sympathetic lighting it could easily be a nicer place. Shaking off the chain feel to the place could be done with some imaginative management.

As the title states we had great service from all the staff but felt let down by our courtyard room which was in need of a major refurbishment. We could not see the courtyard from our room as it looked out on the room opposite. The room felt very old and lacking power sockets which the hotel over came with extension leads also every radiator had one of the caps missing and the bathroom was not cleaned properly. If i did stay again i would opt for a different room because the service was so good and hopefully we will be able to use the sauna and steam room and the pool water will have a little heat in it.

A comfortable night in a clean room but disturbed in the morning by other guests chatting loudly outside. Food somewhat bland served with friendliness in a rather dull overlie restaurant in the evening. The noise of the squeaky kitchen door almost as unbearable as the too loud and inappropriate musak.

So stopped off as looking for food. Staff very welcoming and explained all Covid procedures. Food ordered. Mmmmm Light snack it said salmon and prawn salad with croutons. Wow it was a huge dish with loads of prawns and salmon. I had a steak hougie garlic marinated fillet steak, mushrooms and onions in french stock topped with melted cheese, chips and side salad. Again big portion well recommended All staff pleasant and very helpful.

Rude and unwelcoming receptionist didn't really explain where anything was (eg: restaurant, breakfast or pub that is part of the building) or that we had to get towels from reception for the swimming pool there was no explanation as to what time the restaurant closed or stopped serving food. Was just given an envelope on check in and payment taken having found our room it was lovely and spacious the bathroom was out dated but overall nice but unfortunately there was no room service menus bar or restaurant menus in the room once we called for room service menus we was given just one menu for the restaurant which was not to our taste. No bottled water in the room which you would expect from any 3* and above hotel! Having called down to book for dinner we arrived thinking we were booked in for a pub style meal but again given the same menu that was not for us! Having spoken to the lovely girls in the restaurant we were told we could take out drinks and go to the pub with them as we didn't need to book and they served food also we was not aware of this as we were not told by the receptionist earlier.. we arrived at the pub at 7:58pm and they stopped serving at 8pm the lovely staff there got our orders in and it was fast and delightful just what we needed while waiting for our food my partner ran back and ordered us a bottle of malbec and a cheese board for 2 for 9pm at our room with the receptionist. On the way up to the room at around 8:45 we noticed the receptionist and a chef stood talking in the reception area so we let the restaurant staff know on the way past that we would be ready for our cheese board and bottle of wine as we are headed up now they had no clue what we were talking about as the receptionist hadn't passed the information by across to the restaurant.. anyway the cheese board came and my partner and I were shocked his words "should I have brought my own cheese to this cheese board" there were 4 crackers and 3 very small slices of cheese not enough for 1 never mind 2. We had to call down for water and were charged £4 for a small bottle. The pool was freezing and there was no staff keeping an eye out at their desk is round the corner I couldn't help but think if someone was drowning they wouldn't know about it. Overall not the best stay would have been a lot better if we had a better explanation as to where things were and what was what by the receptionist or even better information inside the express check in envelope having worked in a hotel myself for the last 3 years I know that the check in process can be busy but we were the only ones checking in so there was no reason for us not to be given the information we needed. Not impressed at all really with the lack of information and lack of care from some of the staff. 2*

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish! We was treated by a very friendly staff member Megan, who even with the pandemic managed to provide us with the experience you would expect when in an establishment such as Knights Hill. We would definitely go again! And recommend anyone else to go! Hopefully you will be received by Megan as-well as us and share the same experience we enjoyed! 10/10

Spa in Knights Hill Spa and Hotel was amazing both Charlie and Gabrielle from the spa gave myself and daughter a drift away relaxing massage. Both girls were very professional and excellent at their jobs even during the Covid pandemic. We only had one complaint and that was the receptionist that we first came across couldn't be bothered and looked at us as if we shouldn't be there she appeared to be almost blasé and I was not impressed by her. The young boy took us through to the spa and was very friendly.

Despite living in the area my whole life I wasn't aware of this little tranquil spot until I was treated to a surprise the day before my wedding 10 years ago and I have never looked back! A few years ago this spa got some negative publicity and I find this such a shame because the staff have always been courteous and friendly. The spa is clean, modern and relaxing with a range of treatments to suit all! Although it is quite small, it is more than enough for a twighlight spa which is highly recommended after a long week at work! After your visit, I would also recommend the farmers arms (a stones throw away) for some delicious Norfolk food.

Paid for breakfast in booking. Asked for extra money at check in to cover breakfast. Concerned was told to query at 7am in the morning. Simply not good enough. Room not prepared properly. Room not what I booked..Too late at 9.30pm it seems to be corrected. Very unimpressed.

The hotel was spotless, the staff were brilliant and the towels exceeded the towel test. The swimming pool changing rooms were beautifully clean and we would completely recommend a stay here. Upgrade to a garden room if you can as they are at the back of the hotel.

Have stayed here many times and really pleased to see the high standards of cleaning and service in the current circumstances. Bedroom was pristine and dining room very clean and tables well spaced. Well done everyone!

I stayed here in late August 2020 for 2 nights. 90 quid a night for a room. Breakfast not included. I would have got better VFM if I had used the spa and pool, but ‘didn't get round to this. // About an hour's drive from the outstanding North Norfolk coastal area.// The hotel is based around a beautiful Georgian Manor House. Plenty of parking. I was most impressed with its COVID19 arrangements. Guests asked to wear masks in all communal areas. Staff all masked up. Very friendly and professional. Hand gel on the walls etc. A clean and pleasant room. Not luxurious. But, it all felt safe and thoughtful.

Perfect for a weekend break for a quiet family celebration. Despite the Covid-19 restrictions, the staff were cheerful and welcoming. The dining room lacked a litle atmosphere due to the increased 'social distancing' between tables but the service could not be faulted and the food was excellent. The room was large and very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. The lounge areas were spacious and comfortable. What's not to like! If our travels bring us back to North Norfolk, we shall certainly return.

Walking into the hotel, nice reception with a good amount of outdoor space. Masks have to be worn whilst walking around the corridors. Tick for Covid secure. We stayed in two rooms, one of which appeared newly decorated, the second seemed dated. The shower was luke warm and slow to drain. Pro : Rooms are big & bathrooms modern. Breakfast seemed a bit of a shambles, you're given a piece of paper the night before for your breakfast choice. The form was confusing and complicated. This led to my sister having 1 hash brown in 3 pieces, I had one poached egg and my mother a plate of scrambled egg. Chose the toast option - expect to be given one piece of cold toast at the beginning of breakfast and not with the hot breakfast. The spa : the changing room could do with a major uplift, the swimming pool area too. The room in which they do the massage : very good and the staff are fully kitted our to be Covid secure.

We had a 4 day staycation during 'Covid summer'! We perhaps paid quite a lot (avg over £100pn) but almost all accommodation in the whole of Norfolk was booked up as it was a hot few days, and so the hotel was full to capacity. Despite how busy it was we never felt surrounded by people. The hotel has huge lovely grounds and areas to sit both outside and inside. Also a pub on-site. We were really chuffed with it. THE ROOM... The hotel is made up of the main hotel and some bunglow type annexes close to the on-site pub. Some of the rooms overlook the garden and have either a terrace or a balcony. We had hoped to get an Executive Garden room (part of the main hotel with doors that open onto the garden with your own little patio area). But as the hotel was full we had to settle for the 'annex Courtyard room'. But it was great and, although the garden is lovely, we were fine where we were. Even the annex rooms had a little space in the front so that we could put our toddler to bed and take our chairs outside for a quiet drink at night. They were really spacious and the hotel added a single bed for us, yet still loads of room for the many bags and beach toys we had cluttering up the room. Some photos make the decor look a bit jaded but I can honestly say we found the hotel to be lovely. Although everything is lovelier in the sun! Our annex room had a huge walk in shower and a large cupboard for clothes with ironing board and iron. Kettle and mugs but no fridge. Bit of an issue in a heatwave but the staff happily gave us ice for our cool box. THE STAFF... What absolutely fabulous staff, all such a credit to the hotel. Reception, night porter, pool and spa staff, the cleaner who was so helpful...all of them were so friendly and welcoming. It made for a happy place to be and what they lacked in other areas they really made up for in the best staff. BREAKFAST...this is a bit confusing but you have to remember that it would normally be a buffet style cooked breakfast and not cooked to order, so with that in mind they did an incredible job. You have to choose to have it in your room or restaurant and book a time. Then the night before you tick what you want and hand the form in. I'm not actually sure where you were meant to take the forms as we just waited and gave them to the night porter. We always got the right choices so he must have given them in! You book a slot and not once did we feel too close to anyone else. The first breakfast was a bit cold, but probably as they were so busy. But as the stay went on and the hotel was less packed it was superb breakfast. The odd thing missing or wrong, but in the main the staff dealt with a difficult task in a very efficient and helpful way. POOL My daughter loved the pool! It's a good size and has seating inside if you're not swimming. You do have to book an hour slot and we did book a couple before we arrived, but they weren't fully booked up and they didn't kick you out bang on or anything. The jacuzzi is open but steam and sauna not. You get your towels from reception and then must return them to the hotel once finished with your swim. But return them to where? This is something we never figured out so had piles of wet towels in our room. Perhaps a dirty towel drop-box would be best? LOCATION... All in all a fab hotel, ideally situated for Sandringham, Hunstanton (old hunstanton is the best the beach nearby, Holkham a bit further but also lovely) and Kings Lynn. There is also a big Asda and Tesco Express nearby. We did Sandringham gardens and that was lovely as it was a sunny day and afterwards we sat on picnic benches with a bottle of wine and picnic. The kids play area is fab. You can also do this without paying entry to house/gardens. There's also Snettisham park nearby with Deer Safari and a but further afield there's a Seal boat trip. GREAT STAY!! Thanks so much

There are both very good and some bad things about this hotel to be aware of before you book. First the good 1) The hotel very conveniently located close to a major junction on the edge of Kings Lynn with a big supermarket just down the road. 2) It is a good looking modern hotel, rooms look out over a nice garden area, some have balconies / doors that open onto the garden with little patio / seating areas. There is a pub adjacent all part of the same complex and large parking area. 3) Staff worked hard at the customer service and were very friendly and professional despite challenges and stress they were obviously under especially for breakfast. 4) COVID-19 protection / policies in the hotel were generally well thought out and it was excellent to see staff wearing face coverings always - unlike so many restaurants/ other venues where they don't bother so they are exposing staff and therefore customers to transmission of the virus - where is the logic in that ?! Thank you for taking this aspect seriously as this made my stay feel much safer. 5) The restaurant had outside seating and they kept the indoor area well ventilated - the staff were very good here despite the challenges that COVID-19 clearly was having on everything (see below). The food was decent and enjoyable - the wine was reasonably priced. 6) The room was a good size, modern and would have been very comfortable if it wasn't summer - see below. Many rooms I noted had connecting doors - do not know why hotels do this as hearing the people in the next room through the connecting door is just awful. The not so great things were 1) Breakfast - this was a mess - far too complicated and inefficient for guests and staff. It needs to be pre-ordered for both room service and sitting the restaurant - the form is confusing and unclear. 2 people are supposed to order on the same form with numerous checkboxes which are not clearly explained. This just doesn't work very well when for example you select the toast box and get 1 slice only. --> Please sort this form out to make it clear what you are expected to do including how to hand it in - then the staff may also be able to decrypt it and get the breakfast orders correct! On the first day the room service food delivered was not as per the form at all. Day 2 - decided to eat in the restaurant to hopefully get what I wanted to eat - the juice, cereal, toast and coffee was ready on time but the hot food didn't appear so after 30-40 mins I left as I didn't want to wait any longer. Day 3 - ate in the room - finally I got my order accurate The whole process is messy and clearly creates a huge amount of work for the staff with lots of room for error. Why the restaurant breakfast buffet couldn't be open for just the staff to use and you then order from your table with the staff going to get the food from the buffet for you I don't know - they seemed to cook everything to order which is very inefficient. 2) None of the rooms have air conditioning and the windows (at least the room I had) didn't open more than 6 inches which means that the rooms are just unbearable in hot weather even with the fan they provide. This really spoiled my stay as I just didn't want to spend any time in the room as it was so uncomfortably hot and I couldn't sleep. For a 4* hotel to not have AC seems unusual and disappointing - just because of this I wouldn't recommend this hotel or go back to in warm or hot weather. If they could sort out the chaos that was breakfast and provide rooms that are a reasonable temperature this would be a really great hotel especially with the COVID-19 efforts they were making which were much appreciated and made the whole stay feel safe.

Probably the best hotel In the area with a swimming pool, spa, gym and a good range of rooms. Also close to other sites of interest like Sandringham, Houghton Hall and Castle Rising, not to mention the North Norfolk coast. Given the current C-19 restraints, the service was good, once you got used to putting breakfast sheets in the day and making bookings for the pool and gym. There is also a pub on site which serves good pub food. However, the food in the pub and the hotel dining room is a little unimaginative and predicable, at least at present. However, as several of the taxi drivers pointed out to us, the key thing in the area is size of portion and on those grounds, they more than pass the test. Only real downside about the hotel is that the Wi-Fi is limited and residents are warned that if they are found to be using too much of the bandwidth, their link will be terminated!

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel whilst visiting Kings Lynn. We had the most amazing full body massage by Eleanor & Summer. They were very professional it was such a relaxing experience I highly recommend visiting here and the pool & jacuzzi was a bonus. We had dinner in the garden restaurant and the food was delicious, the waiters/waitresses that served us were lovely. Our room was spacious and very clean with all amenities available. The only negative I must mention is the welcome at reception was a let down. The farmers pub wasn't a great vibe so we wouldn't revisit there again but overall we had a lovely stay, the spa experience was fantastic!!

This has to be one of the worst restaurants I have eaten in. From the chaotic welcome and seating arrangements which took 15 minutes from entering the restaurant to the sheer lack of ambience within the restaurant. The menu was so scaled down, no starters, choice of fish, steak or or burger, all served with chips and peas. I ordered cod and chips, which took 45 mins to arrive, it looked so unappetizing, cod did not seem very fresh, probably out of a freezer, as were the chips, peas were as hard as bullets. Staff seemed rushed off their feet, were not very friendly, could have done with some hospitality training. Nothing would make want to eat there again.

I have recently stayed with you for two nights at Kings Lynn Knights Hill Hotel & Spa, we booked two rooms and paid a bit under £500. After my mum was in isolation for 5 months, we booked a little break to cheer her up with her two grandsons that she hasn't seen for months. I have to say the experience was enough to make her go back into isolation and left us all feeling very disappointed. When we first checked in, we were impressed with the hand saintiser station at the front door however this was the only time it actually had any in, so was pretty pointless. We were disappointed to find there was any in the rooms, when paying over £100 per night I would of thought that was a minimum as everything was completely scaled back. Which included the cleaning! My carpet my filled with stains, didn't even look like it had been hoovered which didn't fill me with any confidence at all. I was staying with two young children in my room and I can understand that you aren't daily cleaning rooms, but to at least empty bins or have a main bin we can put things in. I had both my tiny bins full of nappies etc which was smelling out the room especially in the heat. There was a cleaning station two doors down which they walked past throughout the day, so I put them outside in the hope they would be collected, as people were leaving their room service outside too. Sadly these were ignored alone with all of the room service trays for the other rooms. On Check-in we were given an envelope with breakfast details which the receptionist said would need to be completed even if we want to eat in the restaurant, the form instructed us to leave the breakfast form outside the door when went to bed, as I have two young children this was about 7pm. We did so, it was still there the following morning. We made our way to breakfast and when they couldn't find our forms I said I completed them and left them outside the waiter then rolled his eyes and said no you needed to hand them in, which was the first we had heard. He then made us wait in front of everyone and in the way, while he got another form and to complete it there and then, but said I would need to find my own pen. Instead of sitting us down at a table so my mum and my young children were out of the way, we were blocking up the entrance and people were trying to squeeze past us. We were made to feel very embarrassed and a huge problem to them. We were then put in a side room well out of the way. Food was delivered on a tray and then no one was to be seen again. Half of the items were missing, no cereal which I had ordered for the children, no juices came, no sugar for the tea. We were made to feel so unwelcome that we just left and we even considered going out for breakfast the next day. But we thought maybe it will be better the next day if they had our form the night before so we made sure it was completed and handed in. However I would suggest changing the breakfast form to say that it needs to be handed in, Not left outside like it states at the moment. Once again we arrived at breakfast about 5 minutes early than the time on the sheet and taken to the same room out of the way and the tray was dumped on the table (it also remained there for the intire brealfast) and The hot food brought out at the very same time. This time we were missing the tea cups, which I went and asked for, again no sugar. I also requested some fresh toast (this was to the manager) as the toast we were given had been sat out for a while, it was cold and rock hard that I couldn't even cut it in half. After waiting 15 minutes for the toast I had to go back out and ask again. When she brought the toast, it was only one slice (for a table of 4) so I had to ask for more which seemed to be too much by the way she stormed out of the room and I didn't even dare to ask for sugar, by this point the tea was cold and I'd given up on it. As we were finishing up, they sat another table in the room with us, the manager sat them down, she actually turned the lights on which was nice as we were sat in a dull dark room. It was noted oh how polite and friendly she was to them, there juices and cereal was given to them separately etc given them chance to actually eat it before there hot food. It was like they were at a completely different restaurant to the one we were at. I can completely understand you have to follow proceedure with COVID-19 however we have eaten out a lot while being away and this isn't excuse for poor customer service. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the pool and spa, we were asked about the pool and spa when we checked in and asked if we would want to use it which we said yes and was pointed to where it was. The next morning when we went to use it, we were asked if we were booked in? At first we thought they meant booked in to the hotel, however they then informed us that you need to book to use the pool first. That's when we were also told the sauna and steam room were closed. They made us feel very uncomfortable and awkward, I thought we were going to get turned away, even though we could see the pool and no one was even in there. During our use of the pool we could see them looking through the glass at us, clearly wanted us to go as we hadn't booked (we weren't given a time limit and was only 45minutes in the pool). We didn't use the pool again as we felt so uncomfortable plus the use of the closure of the sauna and steam room we just wanted to check out and leave. I have to say this was the worse experiences we've ever had at a hotel, especially a best western and I feel so sad for my mum after months of isolation all she wanted to do was to go back home feeling completely let down from what should of been a relaxing mini break, was anything but.

Quiet and comfortable, a pleasant well located hotel with great service and a friendly atmosphere.Always nice to have a place like this to rest and relax when in the middle of busy business week and ideal for weekend getaway.

I have visited this hotel several times over the years and this was the first time since lockdown eased and hotels were opened. The hotel managed this very well; restrictions were in place but in a way that did not interfere with the enjoyment of my stay. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and I will certainly be visiting again.

We had an amazing stay from start to finish , we genuinely did not want to leave! Norfolk is a place I visit once a year and holds a special place in my heart. Always so much to do with amazing beaches and scenery. What made our trip even better this time was this beautiful hotel and it's grounds. Rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Stunning views from the balcony in which we could watch the local wildlife. We will be booking to stay again.

Very clean comfortable hotel with friendly professional staff. All measures taken to provide a safe enjoyable trip. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order (made night before) and option of room service or restaurant, we chose restaurant which was set up very well with plenty of space between tables.

The hotel is located at the southern end of King's Lynn, at the intersection of A148 and A149 roads out of town. An old manor house with large modern extension at the back. The three wings of the hotel encircle the lawn, with rooms further away from the reception having either balconies or secluded patios. Thus you are offered a lot of privacy whenever sitting out. Our room was spacious with huge queen-sized bed and comfortable sofa. There was enough storage space. Bathroom had only basic amenities, which was quite understandable considering the pandemic. There was a coffee/tea-making facility as well as safe box. There was no fridge. The staff appeared to have a bit haphazard approach to housekeeping. Deep cleaning? Not here. The receptionist we encountered at our weekend stay was quite disinterested and rather nonchalant.

Well situated hotel and friendly, helpful staff who are quick to respond to requests. We were more than happy to receive a room upgrade to a garden room (having stayed here previously in a standard room, it was nice to have a balcony). However, they need to be deep cleaning rooms in response to Covid and this is clearly not happening. Our toilet was dirty where the seat is fixed to the bowl, door handles didn't feel clean, there was the odd hair here and there and water marks on things plus one of the pillow cases had black marks on it. Generally, we didn't feel that the room was clean enough. There was only one set of towels (but 2 of us) and not enough coffee/milk on the hospitality tray (especially since, on a 2 night stay, the room is not serviced and therefore the tray is not replenished). Breakfast is also an issue. It is a pre-order service. Top marks to the staff for trying hard but the first morning, we chose to eat in our room and we received the wrong order and the food was stone cold (I only ordered a poached egg and received a full English!). So, the second morning, we decided to eat in the restaurant but it wasn't a great deal better...they still got the order wrong and the food was only tepid. It's a shame as we want these hotels to survive but we also need to feel safe and receive what we pay for. We paid the extra £15 each for breakfast but to be quite honest, we would have been better having breakfast freshly cooked elsewhere. The breakfast we had, had it been put in front of me anywhere else, I would have sent it back and refused to pay.

Stayed here for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We were in a Garden Superior room, overlooking the walled garden. The staff were really helpful and looked after us very well. Understandably things were very different because of the current situation, but you have to be accepting of that. But the Covid precautions which they have in place worked really well. The bar did run out of draught lager but a member of staff went to the pub next door to fetch some for us, which was a nice gesture. Very peaceful and a good base to explore the beautiful Norfolk countryside. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel has probably only been opened for just over two weeks, after the Covid-19 shutdown, so with that in mind, the staff were a amazing. They had the hotels new procedures off to a tee & the rooms were spotless. The breakfast was really good, as was the evening meal. We were there for our anniversary & a nice touch was a bottle of wine & a note from the management, wishing us a happy anniversary. We felt VERY safe at the hotel & have NO hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The rooms were in need of an update and were very dated,the temperature outside was approx 20-25 degrees and the radiators in both the hall and bathroom were in full heat and were unable to turn off or down,there was a very old looking plastic fan in the cupboard which we had to use to try and cool us but certainly didn't help much at all and was very loud There was an extension lead being used to supply available electricity to the appliances such as the lamp etc On arrival we was told in the bar was 24 hours but when we arrived to use it after the food facilities were closed at 10pm we were told it wasn't open due to the Covid (not mentioned in website either) The hallway radiator was extremely corroded There was a very musty odour on entering the room and remained throughout the course of the stay The bar wasn't open and this wasn't advertised or made clear when booking or even on arrival and checking in Overall the stay wasn't as comfortable as we were hoping and wouldn't chose to stay or recommend again

We booked via Booking.com. Unfortunately our stay was during the covid-19 travel restrictions and we were unable to stay at the property. I tried numerous times to contact the property with no response or communication at all.

The whole family met at this excellent hotel for my "special birthday", some of them travelling from France. We have felt very welcome, even the younger children. Very good food and facilities (pool and gym) and lovely and warm comfortable suroundings during our winter visit.

Has such a lovely stay at Knight's Hill me and my boyfriend went for the valentines break it was really nice and the staff are lovely also the rooms were really nice to we will defientley be going back.

Torn with leaving this review as the hotel itself is fine,and totally adequate. However i paid a great deal more than the going rate for other (in town) hotels because of the advertised gym, spa & pool Therefore my 3 star review is based upon the health club being a complete let down. Cardio equipment old and out of date, Pool- whilst being a suitable length for swimming laps, had no lane system, so consists of 3 locals who hog the whole pool, refusing to move for anyone else. Sauna/steam/change rooms, functional but old and grotty. So health club no good for someone to get fit. And for a romantic spa break- i'd be gutted if I had booked this for my wife- romantic it is not. Didn't try the bar/restaurant for evening meal. But breakfast fine, staff friendly, and adequate for a hotel of this sorts, The place is ok, average. Room nice and clean. But next time in Kings Lynn i may try somewhere else in town.

Lovely hotel, all staff members happy to help and very attentive. great food,quality leisure facilities, love the fact I could still use leisure facilities even after checkout. Never known that before. Matthew in guest bar was great!

this is a really comfortable Hotel with great service which we enjoyed with all its attractive facilities at a very reasonable cost. we do not hesitate to recommend it to our friends & it is worth making a special journey into the area to find Knights Hill.

Very picturesque hotel based on the outskirts of kings lynn, fantastic facilities on site including spa, gym, swimming pool and tennis courts. Check in was very quick and trouble free, we did have a problem with our original room that was given to us but the staff were very quick to rectify the problems we had and put us in a much better room, we used the hotels hotels restaurants which were of fantastic quality, food was excellent and reasonably priced, I would definitely stay here again A+++

Our room was large and comfortable, albeit there was a problem with the thermostat. On first night had some noisy guests, which was dealt with in a professional way. Very pleasant and helpful staff in every way. Having food requirements, the staff were extremely helpful in this way. Unfortunately, could not take up any of the spa treatments, as was told to book two weeks beforehand, not a few days prior to visit, bit disappointing, as I was looking forward to have some pampering. If you want to stay near Sandringham and surrounding areas, good location

Bargain 1 night stay with my 8 year old grandson where we enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi on arrival. Tastefully decorated, very high standard of cleanliness, room equipped with iron, ironing table, safe and fan, as well as good choice of hot beverage sachets, biscuits etc. The king size bed was very comfy and had nice crisp bedding etc. Nice gardens and spacious restaurant and plenty of areas to relax in.

We stayed for 2 nights seeing the New Year in. The Hotel is very clean and every member of staff we encountered, in the Bar or restaurants and housekeeping were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms (standard) were spacious and very clean. Comfort was definitely the aim which they have achieved. The restaurant offered a good choice of foods to suit and the standard of the dishes are high.

stayed just after Christmas only for 1 night but it was so relaxing and the food was lovely in the garden restaurant , although feel there is room for improvement on some of the little touches with the food , room was very nice and comfortable and the bar was nice too . breakfast a good choice overall , look forward to returning in a couple of months for a SPA break

Stayed at knights hill for 3 night christmas break. Cannot fault staff, service, food and surroundings. Had treatment in spa which was amazing. Everything about the break was perfect. Will definitely visit again.

Stayed for a party night which was really well run and included a very nice 3 course meal which was presented well and had good service throughout. The pool/spa area was not quite to the standard I was expecting with the steam room/jacuzzi not as hot as would normally like and pool area was a little dated. The rooms were pleasant enough with good amenities.

This hotel is total quality right down to the toilet paper. Well presented and helpful staff to compliment a clean venue with all the facilities to make a pleasant stay. Located within easy reach of Kings Lynn and eastern Norfolk. Plenty of free parking.

visited here last night with my wife, 50 % off carvery voucher. Really enjoyed the food and was value for money 2 x 2 course for £15, cant go wrong for that money. Beer was good and staff helpful, nice to have a chat with the chef while he carved our meats

Our rooms were ground floor as requested . We had a wet room and the bedroom has a slight musty smell but was clean and well stocked . Staff are friendly , professional and helpful . Food was excellent . No hot water one morning in some rooms :(

We have stayed here several times but not recently. Very impressed with our room , 101. Decent size, warm, lovely big , comfortable bed, 2 armchairs ( a particular gripe of mine is hotels that provide only one comfortable chair in a double room!). Everything was well thought out with no unnecessary clutter ( another gripe). The bathroom too was a decent size, with both handheld and fixed shower, large towels and plenty of toiletries. We had not planned on having dinner but decided to book a table in the Garden Restaurant. We were both pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. I had salmon and spinach terrine for a starter which I thought might be bland but was very flavoursome. My main of hake was delicious and beautifully cooked. Breakfast too was very good . A tiny criticism is that I would have liked fresh fruit. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay again .A very well run and welcoming establishment.

Great hotel in good location. Rooms very spacious and beds very comfortable. Food drink service all very good. Gym although small has some good equipment, ideal for stay and nice pool and spa area. Have stayed at the hotel many times for business and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Love coming back. Is like home from home!

We come here all the time, we love the food and how relaxed the atmosphere is. I come with family, friends and I don't feel pressured with having a little baby it's a great family environment and we will continue to come in the future on a regular basis.

We booked a little trip away and found this hotel online. The prices were competitive. The hotel itself and grounds is a beautiful old building with a lovely Court yard and character. The pub next door was warm and friendly, we just had drinks and went elsewhere. The spa facilities were an added bonus and are included with the booking. The pool is a good size and clean, as was the jacuzzi. The sauna was very dark and the steam room was a bit dirty and unfortunately the changing rooms were awful. Very dirty and rundown. The towels they give you are very small so you'll need your own. Our room was a good size and lovely, over looking the court yard on the ground floor. The door opened onto it which would have been great in the summer. The bathroom was a bit grubby. Unfortunately our room was next to the reception / sitting area and the public toilet so our sleep wasn't great (which is why we went as a break from our baby). Had I realised this when we checked in I would have asked to move but we were in and out the room and I didn't notice until people flushing the chain woke me all night. The breakfast was amazing, too bad I was on a diet! The staff were all lovely and friendly. Unfortunately we had to wait 10 mins to check out as no one was on the desk and there was no bell. There is plenty of parking.

We called in on the off chance that we could have afternoon tea. No problem. The reception staff showed is where to go. The waiter who took our order was very well turned out and very polite. Congratulations to him. Sorry forgotten his name. It was a dreary afternoon but the lounge where we were served overlooked a lovely garden. Their grey squirrel enjoying burying all sorts in the lawn. Just like at home! If there is a slight downside the decor and furnishings were looking a little tired. This didn't detract from our enjoyment. The tea was lovely. I rather think that we will return next time we are passing.

My sister and I were in a spacious, well appointed twin room. Staff were happy to cook my sister veggie sausages to order each morning. I've had better breakfasts but can't complain at all. Beautiful rural setting, most easily reached by car. We were using public transport, which is limited in the evenings and weekends, and taxis can be expensive. There was little to interest us in nearby King's Lynn, although there are some interesting buildings/features and independent shops, and we were amazed that we were able to go to the cinema for only £4.50! We enjoyed Hunstanton more. Didn't get round the coast as far as Wells. The leisure facilities are great, and we were issued with free towels, although I can't comment on the gym or the spa treatments as we didn't access either. The leisure facilities are a good option if you want to exercise/relax or just need pass some time if the weather is bad! Overall a lovely place to stay.

Had a great Mother and Daughter break at the hotel, it was ideally placed for visiting the local area, Kings Lynn, Hunstanton and Holkham etc. The Staff at reception were welcoming and friendly on our arrival and answered any queries I had during our stay. The Hotel room was lovely with a comfortable bed and fantastic bathroom with twin sinks and huge shower. You can also adjust the heating in the room. Breakfast was buffet style and the staff were very attentive and the dining room had lovely far reaching views of the surrounding area. In the evening we ate at the Pub restaurant on site and on the second night we were given a 50% voucher off our meals, which was fantastic. There are pub Classics and also a Specials menu to choose from. We visited the Pool and spa and loved it ,we went over at 6pm and had the pool to ourselves. We did not have any treatments, but understand that you need to book these prior to your arrival when booking the hotel. We had a great time and would definitely return in the future.

The staff were very friendly, accommodating and approachable. The hotel was warm with lovely views over the countryside and the beds were comfortable. The leisure facilities are good and the food is well presented and tasty.

Good service from reception staff. Only complaint was concerning the extractor fan in our bathroom which was not up to the job of dispersing steam from the shower. Great food. Some of the restaurant staff were a bit slow with service.

Had a fantastic time, the staff were so helpful, polite, caring and adaptable, the hotel itself was clean and tidy and the facilities were fantastic. The pool area and gym were great, the staff were really helpful there as well. Perfectly located for convenience with a short drive to the local supermarket and local town, the pub attached to the hotel is beautiful and food quality was amazing and reasonably price. To repeat myself again the staff were fantastic nothing was too much trouble. From the smallest request to last minute adding a longer stay and keeping the same room the staff went above and beyond in every way. Best stay I've ever had.

Great food and service from Cheryl and the waiter staff. Pity a wedding reception was going on and we could only hear the bass during the night. Hope it stops at a reasonable hour. Will call again but move to a quieter room. Room 3 in courtyard

Some nice facilites, treatments are great even better if you can get a voucher try KLFM 96.7 often vouchers on there which are 2 for 1.Jacuzzi a great size and always warm, pool small but the spa is never busy.

Fantastic place to stay. Extremely comfortable rooms, friendly staff and great hotel. Great access to amenities. Lovely restaurants with excellent food on site. The whole place is clean and fresh. would definiely stay again.

Booked this hotel for a 2 night birthday break for my wife. We booked due to the fact that it's supposed to be spa hotel. tried to book treatments when we arrived but no spaces available during our stay. Spa and leisure is also available to non residents so fully booked. This hotel should not be titled a Spa hotel. Also the on- site pub / restaurant was awful. We ate there on the Saturday evening and the food was inedible, service was slow with other guests questioning where their food was. Most of the time there was a queue at the bar as there was only one serving and customers sitting at the bar causes more problems. We ate at the hotel restaurant Sunday evening and the food along with the service was excellent. breakfast too was fantastic.

Extremely good venue for private dinners. The third time our annual School reunion has used this venue and as before the service and food were superb. This is a very friendly establishment, ideal for holidaying in the area. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Looking forward to our next visit

Overall I had a good stay. However there were a few things that need mentioning. The main part of the hotel is an old building and I was on the first floor and immediately above an external door and the car park was in front so car traffic and deliveries could be heard. This meant that at times it was noisy. I could hear the tv and shower from next door in the bedroom. Also, when people walked along the corridor outside my room the floorboards moved and the bed shook. Having said that it didn't bother me too much but if you are a light sleeper it would be wise to ask for a room in the newer part of the hotel at the back of the building and on the ground floor. The room was clean and well equipped. I didn't use the leisure facilities so can't comment on them. The staff were friendly in the hotel and the dinner menu was good and had nightly specials. The food was well cooked and well presented. Breakfast was varied but I am not a fan of buffet hot food as it dries out and unfortunately that happened here with the bacon. However their sausages were similar to small Lincolnshire ones so were tasty. There is a pub on site, reviewed separately. The complex is a bit out of town but a bus does pass by a couple of times an hour. I would consider staying again if in the area.m

The hotel and facilities were perfect for what we wanted - close enough to the coast for a seaside visit, and enough to do at the hotel on a rainy day. Large spacious rooms, good pool and spa, and better than average hotel gym.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and chose to stay there ths time booking extra room for sister and brother in law. We had a wonderful time in Hotel and surrounding areas, Quite central to explore.

My wife and I stayed here on a Sunday night to break our journey between Scotland and Great Yarmouth. First impressions are very good the appearance of the hotel and grounds is tidy and check in was smooth and efficient. Our room was also very good although my wife thought the pillows were on the hard side and the shower controls difficult to turn. We used the swimming pool which was thoroughly enjoyable despite being a bit old fashioned. Our deal included a evening meal to the value of £30 per person which I was a bit apprehensive about as having had similar deals elsewhere the food has been overpriced and mediocre. Not here we ate in the Farmers bar which has a restaurant in it and found the food and service to be very good the staff being very pleasant and helpful. It was one of the highlights of our recent stay in Norfolk Suffolk and Essex. Breakfast was not included but I was advised we could get breakfast at check in for a discounted price of £13.50 per person which I thought was a bit steep especially as my wife does not normally have a cooked breakfast. However we went for it but were a bit disappointed to find smoked haddock was at a £3.50 supplement even more so with the size of it. So all in coffee, some fruit and 2 small portions of smoked haddock and boiled eggs which were over cooked cost me £34.00 bit of a rip of I think. Overall I enjoyed our stay and would recommended this hotel.

We were visiting Sandringham House and decided to spend a weekend in Norfolk, selecting the Knight's Hill for our stay. We were delighted with our choice. Situated at a crossroads, a few miles outside Kings Lynn and almost adjoining the Sandringham Estate, the hotel occupies a large area and comprises both the original old buildings, together with a number of sympathetic annexes, so that the complex houses a traditional pub, a wedding venue, a health club, a quadrant of garden rooms and some further rooms in a mews configuration. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a ground-floor garden room, with French windows opening onto our private patio, with views over the hotel grounds. Our room was huge. Four armchairs, large coffee table, dressing table, king size bed, chests of drawers, a wardrobe and a number of table lamps & floor lamp. There was a large flat screen TV, iron, hairdryer and radio. The en-suite was of a good size, with plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries. We ate dinner in the hotel's airy restaurant and had our breakfast served in our room, so that we could enjoy that on the patio. A great hotel, fantastic grounds, plenty of water-features and wildlife. Well maintained and perfectly situated to explore the area.

Stayed for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding. On driving into the grounds the first thing that hits you is that it is stunning. Check in was easy with friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean with a great view. Breakfast buffet was great with a plentiful selection of cooked and continental. We used the gym during our stay. Plenty of equipment to choose from.

We found the hotel extremely pleasant in every way, great room, plenty of parking, friendly and helpful staff and delicious food and handy for our visit to Sandringham - we will certainly be visiting again.

We didn't use the spa facilities but they seemed very popular. Rooms spacious and well looked after .Reception team very efficient and helpful. Main dining room lacked atmosphere and was cold (air con)but food ws well presented and tasty. Breakfast top class

We stayed here for three nights 9th August and had a lovely time. Food was very good, two choices of dining-Hotel Restaurant or the Farmers Pub. We had a very large room looking out on to the garden/lawn, the bed was enormous! TV, WiFi,included.Nice Fan for the warm nights. There is a nice Spa and pool etc. All staff were helpful and polite. In our opinion the hotel is well placed for exploring north Norfolk. Sandringham is close if you like that sort of thing, the coastal areas are not far. This was our second visit to this Hotel and would go back. Overall good experience and not badly priced.

A great short stay as always. The garden rooms are perfect for kids as they can play in the large garden outside the room. The sausages are the best in Norfolk I'm sure. Our room had been redecorated to a high standard.

What a lovely nights stay , lovely quiet room with extra bed for our child . Perfect room large and super bath . Really comfortable. Super breakfast before we explored Norfolk . We didn't use the spa but we walked around the grounds and and looked in at the spa . Lovely lady on the reception was super helpful .

I took my daughter and granddaughter for a night at this hotel and it was amazing, the staff were so friendly the amenities for all of us were fabulous we all loved the swimming pool, the room was perfect and we ate at the farmers arms pub on site and the food was so delicious and reasonable, I will definitely be going back to stay for longer

I booked Afternoon Tea at The Garden Restaurant as a Birthday treat for my Daughter and Grandaughter on 28th August. Although the web site says you only need to book for party's of 6 or more, I rang the hotel to check availability the day before. I forgot to give a time, and the hotel rang me back to arrange a time. I asked if 2.00 would be convenient and was assured it was fine. We arrived 10 minutes early to check in, and imagine our dismay to find a funeral wake arriving at the same time. We were told at reception to check in at the restaurant bar, but a sign said Private Function. We returned to the reception desk and was assured that was where we had to go. We were stood amongst mourners arriving, with staff trying to accommodate them, waiting for someone to seat us for our Afternoon Tea. It was awkward and embarrassing for both parties. My daughter and I agreed to cancel the afternoon tea, and returned to the Reception desk. We were told we wouldn't be seated with the funeral party, we had the choice of a lounge, through which the mourners were passing, or a patio area which was bare of tables and chairs and was being cleaned. Why couldn't we have been told at the time of booking, that there was a funeral wake. We could have chosen another day and been saved all the embarrassment. As it was we were accommodated at another venue, and had a lovely Afternoon Tea elsewhere. We will not be returning here.

We had an amazing stay. Rooms comfortable and well appointed. Went to hotel pub for meal all very good. Children loved their meals especially. One downside was when sitting in the reception area reading paper receptionist decided to put on the awful piped music and spoiled the peace albeit I was the only one there. Grrrr.

I stayed here overnight for my friends wedding, the wedding service package itself was phenomenal food was great, staff were all smiling making the wedding day truly magical dancing into the night before retiring to the spacious, clean and comfy rooms, the following morning there was an all you can eat breakfast, continental or English (yum) there was 5 of us at the table so a lot of cups/plates/bowls and tea/coffee pots.....no one came to see if we needed more milk or anything (eventually a member of our party got some from the cereal station) nothing was cleared from the table so In order to make room to drink our tea/coffee I put all the dirty dishes on the window sill Seriously, more staff are needed

Stayed here for a short break and could not have been more impressed. We received a really warm welcome on arrival and received a complimentary upgrade to one of the garden suites. The room was beautifully spacious, very well appointed with incredibly comfortable beds and was completely spotless. The swimming pool and spa facilities were excellent, and all of the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We did experience a couple of issues in the restaurant on one evening; however, the staff dealt with everything wonderfully, taking ownership of the issues and quickly finding a solution with charm and grace. Like most reasonable people, we accept that things do sometimes go wrong - it's how it's dealt with that matters and the staff were faultless in making everything right. Overall, it was refreshing to stay in a hotel that offers luxury without being pretentious, and where guests are made to feel so genuinely welcome. Having had some bad luck with other holiday accommodation this year it's been lovely to go somewhere that knows how to treat people. I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough, and we will definitely be back again in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A very good location, easy to find, good options for food Hotel or Pub on site, good spa on site. Nice garden and views of the countryside the staff are very pleasant and helpful. a very good location for visiting all of Norfolk inland and coast.

We stayed for three nights at this excellent hotel; our room was superb - spacious, comfortable, well equipped, etc. Staff were professional, efficient, friendly. Food was great with good options to suit most tastes. The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring North Norfolk and the hotel is lovely to come back to at the end of the day.

The bedroom was spacious with a well appointed en suite shower- room. The staff in the leisure centre/swimming pool were friendly. There was a convenient public house in the hotel grounds.The hotel has easy access from the adjacent road system. The hotel is situated in a quiet location.

We would certainly recommend this hotel as a good base for exploring the surrounding area. To be honest we were a bit dubious at booking a Best Western Hotel as we feel the reputation of Best Western has been tarnished of late with the hotels being of poor quality and a little run down. This is certainly not the case with this hotel. We were very impressed with the quality and standard of this hotel.

Looked good for one night journey break from, North Yorkshire to Suffolk. Pleasent helpfull staff and, easy disabled parking when booking in and,usual high quality room facilities expected from the Best Western brand Less friendly welcome from restaurant staff as they appeared to be dealing with a customer complaint. Menu consulted, shared starter, one main of Sea Bass the other, intrigued as to what "culinary skills " the chef would conjure up with, a Frankfurter sausage in a bun. Two large pieces of Sea Bass well cooked, but the accompaning four pink potatoes were very unusual. My main, was exactly as printed on the menu, a Frankfurter sausage in a "dry" bun with French fries, a few fried onions and, cole slaw. Regretably, it was agreed,this would be a memorable dining experience for all the wrong reasons especially, as the sausage was priced at fifteen pounds fifty.

Had a lovely 2 nights at this hotel. The double room was on the first floor overlooking the garden. The bathroom was excellent. The TV was very good and we had 2 armchairs in the room. The chambermaid gave me feather pillows when I asked. All the staff were helpful. The breakfast was excellent and good fresh produce. We had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. There is also a pub on site where we had a meal.

Needs up dating ,looks like it's not been touched for 30 years ,staff nice ,but would not say it's a signature hotel ,would not go back.dinner was not pleasant, over priced for what it was ,the other pub on the site was much better food and service ,

A really excellent hotel. The staff were really nice. The room was spacious, clean and lovely. The food was brilliant. I am a vegan and the chef cooked wonderful food every night for me. The buffet breakfast had plenty of items to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

Me & my partner stayed for one night for a family wedding. The room cost £70 per night! We were informed that this room was discounted because we were i the wedding party & it would normally be about £100. These rooms are nice but they're no where near worth what is being charged for them, there were no breakfasts included in this price, these were about £15 per person extra. We personally found that the rooms were so hot, there is no air con that I could see & only 1 window in the room so we couldn't get any air flowing through. However as a wedding venue this was lovely. The tables were well laid out & the decorations picked were stunning. The food provided for the wedding party was delicious. Do have to state if this wasn't for a wedding I wouldn't consider staying here again as it is too expensive.

We had a lovely stay here. Used the pool and jacuzzi, both great. Breakfast was lovely, a very good selection. We stayed in very warm weather and even with a fan the room was very hot so we had to have windows wide open and there was quite a lot of traffic noise. I think this would have been a problem wherever we stayed with such warm weather. The room was very spacious as was the lovely newly refurbished bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Garden was lovely, looking forward to staying again.

Room cost £100 per night, for a family if 4, my children had 2 mattresses on the floor, o e in front of dressing table so couldn't use it, the radiator was stuck on full heat and was ridiculously hot!! Coukd only sit on toilet sideways as is was flush up the wall, wallpaper peeling, leak through ceiling, filthy carpets and window catches were broken, absolutely disgusting

Food took a lomg time to arrive and most of it was all cold. Seems to be a problem not staffing the restaurant with the right amount of staff. We would not recommend using their restaurant until they take on more staff to get the food out in a reaonable time. Restaruant was not busy, so no need to take so long serving some basic meals.

Just popped in for short while on our way to Hunstanton on a busy Thursday. This place always seems to be busy but still the staff are very welcoming. Good food and drink menus and very speedy service

Stayed here with my husband for one night as a treat. Staff were very friendly and helpful when checking in. Told us about leisure facilities, if we wanted to use them. Room was fantastic, very clean and spacious, view over the garden with patio area. Breakfast gives you a great choice from just toast to full cooked. Everyone that we meet within the hotel couldn't of been more helpful. Will be coming back again soon

Girl on on reception was particualry good - asked about my journey and was cheerfull and smiled a lot which is a big plus. Room was spotless and a comfy bed - what more can you ask for after a very long very hard day. Just a bit dissapointed that my colleague had a much cheaper rate as I have stayed there quite a few times and had the business rate but was not offered it for this trip - never mind I still slept well and enjoyed the stay.

This hotel will take some beating for cost, comfort and utilities. The ladies in the swimming pool area were very friendly. Everywhere you went was spotless. Very convenient for Sandringham just 10-12 mins away. There were plenty of smiles and greetings from the staff. For a treat have the cream tea it was in our opinion almost a par on the Ritz.

This hotel gives a good impression on arrival and has a lovely ambience internally and externally; we booked a large garden room which certainly had the wow factor. Once we'd dropped our cases in the room I went to the bar area and ordered a surprisingly good bottle of Prosecco from a very helpful young male member of staff. However, thereafter there were a few irritating niggles! The bedroom was too hot..indeed the entire building was very warm! The bathroom lighting was bright and no other subtle changes available for during the night, also the large hook was hanging off the back of the door; the bed was comfortable but the pillows too hard. We arrived for breakfast next morning at 9.25 am and the buffet looked rather tired, as if it had been up since early...I guess we are used to privately owned hotels where breakfast is served to your table spanking fresh! My Main Concern in the restaurant area is this: there appears to be no clear signage about the dairy & meat products available....free range /organic or factory farmed? I asked if the eggs were free range and apparently they were, but restaurant/kitchen staff were unable to tell us if the bacon/sausages were too! According to the Best Western website they are ' keen to be green' and also like to use local produce where possible...fresh quality organic ingredients being a top priority...? ALL menus should state information clearly so that customers like ourselves can make good ethical choices about what we eat, and it would be helpful if restaurant staff were more aware of this too.

Eating as a family in the restaurant of the pub, persistent voucher in the press encourage custom. We were well treated and using the vouchers the value for money was good. The question needs to be why issue vouchers, why not just reduce prices for all?

I brought my daughters here for an afternoon tea and we had a lovely time. My daughter is coeliac but the choices on offer to her were excellent and being a fussy eater they even went out of their way to offer her the sandwich fillings she would eat. Our waitress Pearl was fabulous. She made us feel very welcome and couldn't have done any more for us. We were the only ones having this at the time so the place was very quiet but that didn't bother us as the building is lovely and we were able to just relax and watch the world go by without any pressure on time. An overall lovely experience and thank you Pearl for making it even better. :-)

we came to the restaurant for a family meal. All 5 star including service and value. I can't find a separate review page for the food so I am putting it on here. If you stay here then try to food. Staff very attentive and quick service. We have been before and will be there again.

Great staff good quality room very clean throughout nice size tv every thing of good quality the bathroom was a good size nice to see a shower and a bath mattresses were of very good quality very comfortable indeed

To say we were bitterly disappointed is an understatement. We booked the hotel for a mini-break for four specifically because it has a spa. On checking-in we wandered over to the spa to book treatments to have some snotty nosed woman speak down to us in such a rude tone, as if we were very stupid for thinking we could book on arrival. Apparently, they need two weeks notice. So no treatments and hence a ruined breakaway. Without going into detail, for personal reasons it was particularly important that this was an enjoyable and relaxing break. We spoke to Reception and were advised that the spa is a separate business from the hotel so they could not help. Funny how all their literature brands it as a spa hotel, the literature and letterhead also states ‘Knights Hill Place Hotel and Spa'!!!! At no point in our booking process were we advised that if we wanted spa treatments it was advisable to book in advance. I have stayed at other hotels who book treatments at the time of checking-in. I sat in the Reception area yesterday afternoon to hear the chap answer a call from someone enquiring about booking a room and wanting a massage, he told the caller that the pool, steam room and sauna were complimentary for hotel guests but that they would need to pay for a massag. He then proceeded to take the booking for that night. At no point did he advise the caller that they would not be able to receive a massage. I see from reading other reviews that this is not a one-off. An expensive two night stay and left totally and utterly disappointed.

My wife and I have stayed here before and no doubt at all will be back again - hopefully soon. We stayed in a garden room with patio which opened out on to the beautiful and peaceful walled gardens. The rooms are all spacious, well furnished and comfortable. If you get a chance make use of the pool / sauna / steam rooms but more importantly it is worth paying the extra £10 per person to spend some time in the spa - a wonderful experience. Treatments are obviously extra but my wife tells me these are quite reasonably priced. Breakfast is wonderful - hot and all you could want. The main restaurant we have had several evening meals there and find excellent quality with a price you would more or less expect for such food. The Farmers Arms also serve excellent quality food with a reasonably varied menu and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the Best Western Knights Hill during May 2019 with our 8 year old son. We were part of a walking group of 9 people in total. We were really pleased with our room which had been very recently renovated, it was clean and comfortable. Our son was provided with a small bed free of charge. We used the Spa on two afternoons - it was great, good sized warm pool, great sauna and steam room. The first evening we ate in attached pub which was buzzing with atmosphere and the food was excellent. The second evening we ate in the hotel restaurant and again we had some excellent food and service. We thoroughly recommend this hotel, it in a really good location, helpful staff with ample parking - and an easy walk to the Sandringham Estate.

Attended a wedding here on Saturday & stayed in the courtyard room. Fabulous venue for a function this sprawling hotel comprising of different styles of buildings is a delight. The staff are cheerful professional & helpful. The rooms clean & tidy. The wedding breakfast was very enjoyable the waiting staff very efficient & helpful The buffet breakfast was amazing fantastic choice of well cooked foods kept nice & hot with lots of other options fresh fruit, pastries & cereals The hotel is set in lovely grounds with plenty of photo opportunities The spa & leisure facilities is well equipped, treated myself to a facial whilst there felt very pampered & relaxed Only reason I didn't give an excellent rating was a couple of points that probably wouldn't be a problem for others.Great Western please ditch the plastic straws totally unnecessary one will ask if they have a medical need. Coffe very under par but I find this in most hotels. Courtyard rooms could do with a colourful shrub planted in the front the pebbled squares look bit blank. Lots of steep steps leading into the various rooms from outside may be a logistical thing due to age of buildings. Poor signage for toilets in some areas. Saying all this would not prevent us from staying here again

This is the second year we have enjoyed a 4 night break for our annual rambling holiday. Walks in this area are plentiful with typical Norfolk scenery. Staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful and we all enjoyed the food on our bed/breakfast and evening meal experience. Our special requests for room types were met without problem and because of glorious sunshine we were all able to meet up on the terrace for drinks before our evening meal.

We had a three night stay over the bank holiday in room 140 and really enjoyed our stay here. There were a few things that could have been improved upon. I thought the bar was poorly stocked and surprisingly quite a lot of the staff didn't come over as professional especially in the dining room. The breakfast buffet was good but the quality was "variable". A minor fire in the spa putting the jacuzzi out of commission was also rather unfortunate. The above were more niggles than issues and we would need be more than happy to return and recommend.

We enjoyed our one night stay in the annex rooms. Check in was friendly and efficient. The room was large and comfortable. The shower was powerful and the bathroom well equipped. I particularly liked the make up mirror and lighting. The room was rather hot but we slept ok. Dinner in the pub was good and breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Great setting, excellent facilities, good food and staff. We had booked a treatment over at the spa and left the spa feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Impressed at the grounds and overall standard. Went over to the hotels pub for our evening meal and overdid the food order. The staff (even the new one on training) where polite curious and engaging. Food was great too. We rolled back to our very well presented room via the hotel bar for a night cap.... Even if it was still before 9... My other half dropped off while I struggled to settle... Nothing to do with the hotel bed was great, just a neck issue. No sooner had I finally closed my eyes we received a 'suprise' from the hotel in the form of the fire alar going faulty around 5am. I mean we booked a relaxing spa treatment, it was great to be balanced out by the 'shock and awe' tactic as I frantically tried to find and turn off what I thought was an extremely loud alarm on my phone... I'm currently writing this as I'm not getting back to sleep so please take it with a pinch of salt. I'm absolutely gutted as if it wasn't for that I'd be asleep and it's probably completely out of the hotels control... But it has impacted our stay (well, mine at least - she's gone back to sleep). Overall I would recommend and stay again, but minus the shock therapy.

I stayed here for a couple of nights and other than the fact that my room was hotter than the sun on arrival (it eventually cooled down after turning off the radiator and opening some windows) I was very happy with my stay. Staff were friendly and the room was well equipped (including biscuits with the tea stuff - very rare these days) Breakfast had a great range of dishes on offer. There is plenty of free car parking space

We took advantage of the Easter deal they had on offer arriving Good Friday and leaving bank holiday Monday and we are so glad that we did . I have read reviews of people saying the hotel is dated however I think the hotel has done a good job of reflecting the farming community it is surrounded by and has a vintage / farming decor / feel . The rooms are of a good size which include a sitting room with a balcony and office space and the bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept and are perfect to sit out in . The staff throughout the hotel are all very helpful and nothing is too much trouble no matter their position. Breakfast was outstanding with local sauced produce from local farms and again nothing was too much trouble , poached eggs where cooked on request. I am not sure if the hotel owns and runs the pub on the same site ? If it does I believe the management of the hotel should spill out over to the pub as the service was not the same as the hotel which I feel is a letdown for the hotel as the experience in the pub was completely different. (Please see my review of the Farmers Arms) . I would return to this hotel for sure and I would strongly recommend it to others

Having had many poor stays at best western hotels i found this stay to be good. The hotel is easy to find with plenty of car parks. Checking is was easy and the room was a good size with everything needed. All clean with no dirty marks. Overall a nice hotel and would stay again.

when we checked in the girl on the desk wasn't at all pleasant, but after that we found all staff to be very friendly and helpful. We were staying there because my granddaughter was getting married, nearby, and it made our few days really special.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights whilst attending a family wedding at the same venue. Excellent stay and a very warm welcome. The location is very good and allows for easy access to all main routes.

We went out for a family meal of 20 people. As always being vegan I rang two days before to check the menu and with no help from the staff not knowing what could be cooked. I then rang a 2nd time and the offer of a vegan meal was. A starter of melon which I did not have. followed by falafel burger which we requested chips with it. It came out with a decent size portion of chips and simply just a patty of the “burger”. No salad no bun just chips and burger. Followed by one option chocolate brownie which did not taste of chocolate brownie. Staff were good.

Stayed for three nights. The first room I was shown bizarrely had a kitchenette which meant the shower room was extremely small. I was changed to a smaller room which had a bathroom with bath and shower. The hotel is currently being renovated and seemingly not before time - unfortunately my room (23) was old style - seems very much luck of the draw even though prices are the same. The room was absolutely boiling and even turning off the radiator and hot towel rail didn't help. The safe was broken and not repaired. The main lights are very dim and I had to push back the net curtains to let daylight in to read by. The most disappointing part was the spa. Pool much smaller than the picture suggests and at 7am (when it supposedly opened) was already packed with swimmers. Tried to book a massage told no appointments available until the last day of the holiday - booked that. On that day made sure to get back in time only to be told 'oh the therapist has gone sick the hotel should have told you!' - not impressed. The good points were some of the staff, particularly the waiters and waitresses in the restaurant, who were all very friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant on all 3 nights and food was very good - recommend the venison and the steaks. Breakfast is ok - they advertise a meat platter but we didn't see one. The porridge was very bland. Nice pub on site but we found it far too crowded to us for pre dinner drinks and had to resort to the hotel bar.

It was extremely busy in the hotel restaurant and seemed like a lack of staff due to some delays. However, the food was delicious and we ended up having three courses due to our package. Matthew, who I assume is the Manager and a young girl Maddy was very efficient considering the amount of tables in all at once, and were very friendly. Thank you for making it memorable.

Enjoyed a wonderful evening playing bingo in the great barn. A special thank you to our barmen Carl and Finley for helping us set up and keeping everyone refreshed. Job well done gentlemen.I would highly recommend this venue for events.

Evening Works function with large number of people. Carl' was very attentive and went out of his way to ensure everything was correct. Refreshments arrived on time with the added bonus of chocolates. Absolutely no problems

Rooms pretty dated and a bit tatty and If you're hungry don't bother with this hotel - food very slow to come and not even capable of cooking fresh scrambled eggs! Sounds like first world problems - but we do have a choice and in future I would not choose this hotel.

Had a very relaxing break sight seeing in the area. Very comfortable hotel - with brilliant staff. We had a warm welcome from everyone, but what made our stay was the lovely attention the staff gave my little boy of 6 - he was thrilled when Vicky, the most smiley lovely person on this earth, hung up a picture he had drawn near the breakfast area, and when Sophie delivered him a letter with a special surprise for the 'artist'! Amazing people - you are doing a superb job and are fantastic with children. Thank you for making it a weekend to remember. Xx

A lovely welcoming hotel with great views. Lovely cozy room nice professional staff very friendly. Not forgetting the fab food. Having a room with a balcony was great. The bed was mega comfortable. Huge TV as like watching the news also have comfy chairs felt like home

Knightshill is a hotel and spa 4 miles from KL. Reception was kind and attentive and the room spacious and clean if a little dated in its decor. Only one available plug socket by the bed. Bed comfortable. Bathroom clean and what one expects. Alas the "fine dining" restaurant dinner was very poor. The soup of the day was "gloop" - thick and gelatinous and tasteless. The felafel burger was dry and also tasteless. Everything else was expensive - over £17 for a main. Breakfast had lovely servers and service was good.

Called in for a bite to eat, what a lovely service and the food was great. Staff couldn't be more attentive, especially the lady that served us. Sharon. Food was cooked just as we were asked. The whole place has a really nice feel to it.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend in February. We were based in the Courtyard rooms, which were spacious and comfy. Was impressed with the cleanliness and features of the room. Only criticism if I had to have one would be the room perhaps could do with a lick of paint but the bathroom and walk in shower was fabulous. We attended an event at the hotel which was the reason for our stay. We didn't use the spa or pool due to our short stay but we did eat at the pub and breakfast in the garden brasserie. Breakfast was superb and we very much enjoyed our meals at the Farmers Arms. Would love to come back and perhaps do some sightseeing around the area and use the spa facilities next time.

I have just returned from an eleven night stay on business at the Knights Hill Hotel and I cannot recommend it enough. The room I stayed in (145) was a first floor room with balcony and was generously proportioned. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room had everything you could possibly need. The staff deserve due recognition. The reception, restaurant, porters, housekeepers and pool and gym staff are all exceptionally professional as well as polite and friendly. They really do make a huge difference as to how your stay goes. I felt immensely welcome by all staff. All in all a really nice experience and the nearest thing to a home from home!

We booked the Winter Spa break, which included DB&B, Afternoon tea & a 30 minute treatment each day, & we were able to take an hours treatment on the Saturday. Our connecting rooms were large, clean with fabulous huge towels, parts of the wallpaper & paint work needed some tlc but overall was pleased with everything. Afternoon tea was served privately with plenty of sandwiches, scones & cakes. Evening meals were excellent & compliments to the chef & kitchen staff.Had seabass on day 1 & venison on day 2 which was fantastic. Check in, check out was fine & all of the staff were friendly & helpful especially our waitress Sophie who looked after us over the 2 days. Would recommend

Such a friendly place, we booked valentines weekend (purely by accident!). Roses on all tables, napkins in rose display, lovely food. Treatments included mud pack then steam room then an aromatherapy bath big enough for two with an exfoliating scrub! So lovely being able to have our treatments together! Swimming and jacuzzi available during the whole stay. Room - so big, bed, lounge area shower room and complimentary tea, coffee etc. Very clean and cleaned again and new towels after the first night! Of a two night stay- thoroughly recommend!!

Good hotel but situated on roundabout of a busy main trunk road. Reception staff excellent and food ordered from room service menu was excellent quality and piping hot. Rooms spacious and decor ok if a bit dated but no complaints really.

The room was lively and very comfortable, we stayed int he main building. However the shower was dangerous. It went from hot to cold without any adjustment, and by hot it was scalding so had to jump out of the way. I ended up washing my hair by standing out of the bath and just sticking my head under the shower when the temperature went down. We did mention at reception but didn't feel like this was taken seriously. The spa was fully booked for treatments, such a shame for a spa weekend, it would be good if they could have had more capacity. Other than that, great pub and lovely food.

Visited for lunch which looked great, tasted even better and was reasonably priced. Excellent staff which made the experience even more enjoyable. Can only recommend such an experience for all. BW at it's best.

Booked the captain's room for my mum's 80th birthday. The room was lovely and you virtually have a bar to yourself in the next room. Waitress service was ok altho we had to go and ask them to come to us several times. The afternoon tea trays were rubbish on the sandwiches,only doing ham,smoked salmon or cucumber. This was £14.95 per head! The cakes however were lovely and as much tea and coffee as you want but you will have to ask for more after 2nd servings...

The hotel is in a great position for exploring the local area. The food is great and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful but the rooms are in need of an update. The bathroom was from the 70's, the room lighting was very poor and the windows are in need of renovation. Will we return? Probably when an update has happened.

Attended a ladies festival weekend, and was so impressed with the excellent food, facilities and service provided by the hotel and it's staff. A particular note of thanks to Sunny our waiter, who was polite attentive, and whos smile made our evening so enjoyable. Good work Sunny, I hope your hotel recognises what a good employee they have.

This is quite a pricey hotel, and positions itself as a Best Western "Premier" property and displays AA 4 stars on a big sign outside. I though it was very mediocre. I stayed for two nights on my own, for business. First the good points. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Had dinner in the restaurant, which was very nice and the service excellent. Room was quite large. Good shower. Nice bathroom. Quiet spot - no noise from outside. Less than good: No air conditioning. Heating was very hit and miss and mostly just boiling hot all the time. I had a balcony, so getting some fresh air would have been nice if my neighbor didn't smoke and his fag smoke kept drifting into my room. Fag buts on the balcony. Towel radiator not working at all. One of the lamps didn't have a bulb or even a switch in it. No elevator, and windy stairs to navigate. Kettle didn't shut itself off. No fridge in the room (booked an upgraded room). Room full of that nasty old teak furniture you get in old hotels. Fairly surly staff in reception. Paper-thin walls, kept hearing the smoker coughing in the next room. Wouldn't stay here again - Premier Inn is better and cheaper

This is a very good hotel for a short stay. For us the location was very convenient, the room was large, comfortable and the food both in the evening (we ate in the brasserie restaurant) and at breakfast was good. Other family stayed in the Courtyard and found the rooms noisy (until the disco finished at around midnight!) but rooms in the main hotel were fine. The real bonus here, however, is the staff. Without exception they were excellent. We had a minor problem in the room which was dealt with immediately; the waiting staff in the restaurant were outstanding.

We decided to have a weekend away, visit relatives and generally blow away the cobwebs. After a bit of research we found Knights Hill and decided to give it a go. It was perfect two nights away, well located for local places of interest and the staff and lovely. We would definitely choose it again if we were in the area.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights - arriving on the 23 December and departed on Boxing Day. We purely stopped at the Knights Hill Hotel and Spa due to it's location being so close to Sandringham. I wanted to see the Royal family on Christmas Day. It was fabulous!! The staff were all wonderful. So helpful and friendly. Sam checked us in early and made sure our bedroom was serviced quickly so that we could get into the room after our long journey. Her customer service was excellent. We ate on the first night in the Farmers Arms. Once again excellent service and lovely food. It was also superb in the restaurant. The staff were all first class. Our room was a little dated but very comfortable. Whatever we asked for it was provided. The bed was comfortable but the pillows not so good. As soon as I spoke to housekeeping they found us more comfortable ones immediately. We were in room 120 which was quiet and cosy. I will be returning and thank everyone at Knights Hill Hotel and Spa for making our stay so lovely. The bottle of wine in our room on arrival was a very nice touch. We will be back very soon!!

Easy checkin polite staff. We arrived early but that wasnt a problem. Room was spacious and adequate for one night, facilities were good. Would stay here again when in the area. Cannot comment on food as we didn't eat here.

Arrived early evening and left early morning however facilities were good. Small room was booked but was still decent size clean for one. Dinner in farmers arms was good and service was fast. Breakfast also good choice.

Nice hotel but avoid room12 in Courtyard! Sound of generator or washing machine sound throughout the night and continuously from5am!! Reception didn't want to know although a girl leaving the shed are adjacent to room agreed! Key didn't work in lock and no spa facilities on day we were there No apologies made!!

Some great choices and excellent offers Food came swifter than normal, it was hot and tasty Enjoyed the atmosphere and temperature of the restaurant . Look out for adverts as they halved the bill. Will certainly go again Burgers were good I hear , liver was amazing

It was at 3am one morning when we arrived unannounced on Knights Hill Hotel doorstep, we were on holiday locally in a touring caravan when high winds got the better of us. We... Myself in Grandma mode, and my daughter with her 3 year old and a babe in arms. There was no rooms available as due to a wedding that day, however the night porter searched for a manager and together they found us a bed for the rest of the night in safety. We have stayed at this Hotel and used it's Spa side before, along side the good food and hospitality it always gave us great service. But none so much appreciated as this particular night. Although we live quite close to Thursford, we chose to stay overnight at the Knights Hill. The package INCLUDED good tickets for the event, as well as a lovely tea in the hotel before the show, and late-night sandwiches afterwards. Despite a minor blip with the latter, the overall experience was wonderful. The hotel is perfectly situated in a lovely area, easily accessible and with plenty of parking spaces. The breakfast could not have been better, and the staff were extremely helpful in all aspects. Hopefully, we may decide to do the same next year.

We have just had a lovely lunch at the farmers arms , the carvery was excellent most of the staff were great but one young waitress was what I would call very sharp and not very polite , this didn't go done very well and as we are regulars with 12 other people we exspect the same standards as all of the other staff . I wish you all a Happy Xmas and a Happy Newyear .

We stayed overnight at this hotel on our way to Thursford, it was an excellent stay and amazing meal I would recommend this hotel , staff friendly very clean and rooms very luxurious. Lovely grounds would definitely recommend

Enjoyable carvery in the evening. Very busy but our group was seated in the conservatory so we was all together . We had per ordered as there was 29 of us. so I do not know what the menu options are .

Comfortable, clean room with good bathroom (heated). Lovely views. Staff friendly and helpful. Especially good at providing gluten free meals. The breakfasts were especially good. Dinners were good but waited a while for the vegetables to arrive therefore the meat or fish lost heat. Not all wines on the list were available.

Another really enjoyable stay at Knights Hill while going to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular Show. Such a clean hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Always head straight to the leisure club for a swim and to use the jacuzzi. We were in the outside rooms this time, but the room was still excellent with big screen TV and modern bathroom. Breakfast is fantastic and evening meal is always delicious. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Staying at this hotel always make our trip more enjoyable. We look forward to going back every year. The hotel has beautiful gardens and often wish we were there in the summer to be able to sit outside and enjoy the gardens. I would always recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Norfolk.

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, and good facilities. Only criticism as per most hotels is toasters. Why can't they beset up so they work without burning or having to use two passes. Leisure facilities clean and tidy, friendly staff willing bbc to help.

Nice courtyard room, very clean lots of space. Staff not overly stuffy but just really friendly and helpful. Pool good and clean. Sadly the reason for staying was to attend a funeral at crematorium a couple of miles away but we were given late check out so we could come back and change afterwards which was a nice touch. Lovely grounds which Im sure would be fantastic in summer

Me and my partner recently went to the Farmers Arms for a meal. Despite having a coach party prior to our arrival, it was no trouble at all for Sharon and Nick to get the conservatory ready for us and other customers. I had the mushroom stroganoff at Sharon's recommendation and it was delicious and full of flavour! A lovely atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff - I shall definitely be returning!

Stayed here for a night. Easy to find, plentiful parking, close to the QE Kings Lynn hospital. Checked in and my request for a quiet room had been wonderfully honoured. Spacious room with a large bathroom with a ‘proper' bath, sitting area and desk. Even had fully functioning windows that opened which was so refreshing. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was very comfortable with quality linen. The towels were bright white and fluffy. Lovely complimentary mini's and a very ample tea tray. Dined in the restaurant and the food was outstanding as was the attention of the waiting staff. They were prompt, courteous and discreet whilst considerate of a single traveler. I had the filet of beef and it was outstanding. I had some customers with me and they were treated like royalty. The swimming pool in the morning was a real treat and the staff there very helpful. I needed a swimming bag for a wet costume and I had it within about 2 minutes and the changing room was refilled. I would have loved to have tried the spa but on a business trip not really possible. The breakfast was again beautifully served by friendly and attentive staff. A lovely choice of continental, freshly squeezed orange juice for example, and poached eggs that were perfect. The chefs here really send out very tasty food, and with attention to detail. I had a couple of emails that needed immediate response and the hotel offered me a late check out as a compliment so that I could do them in comfort. WOW. So many hotels immediately ask for a late fee and this was just such a lovely touch. The housekeeping team checked I had enough tea and coffee as I was late out of the room and I couldn't believe what a lovely offer that was. Totally over and above, really going the extra mile and some!!!! I would definitely recommend this wholeheartedly and I will be staying again for sure. Hotels like this are rare nowadays. The hotel is a short taxi ride to the town centre and very close to the Sandringham estate.

We were very impressed prior to our visit when due to ill health we were forced to cancel a previously booked room for my father in law and how understanding the knights hill staff were. On arrival we were extremely pleased with the size, cleanliness, design and quality of our room, good bed, very very good bathroom which included a magnifying mirror that was brilliant for shaving or for a lady to do her make up. The old barn was beautifully decorated for our sons wedding reception, the staff were great, as they were throughout the entire hotel and a terrific night was had by all. Some of our party got to use the pool and spa and they all gave very good feedback on these facilities! Our only slight gripe would be the buffet breakfast was not the best we'd experianed. The choice was o.k but as is often the case with buffet style food it felt and tasted a bit tired. Overall we would absolutely recommend Knights Hill, good looking place, quality clean rooms, great staff and excellent facilities for either business users or couples looking for a short break.

Sorry a bit late posting from August! Great Location and hotel. Clean comfortable rooms with plenty of amenities and space. Welcome with a cool room in teh summer sun. Breakfast was very tasty with loads to pick from.

I had a meeting here. But to comment, the hotel is a lovely setting with nice public rooms and a lovely garden area. I had just had drinks outside but will definitely use this hotel when in the area. Plenty of parking and easy access

Friendly hotel, smart, clean comfortable rooms. Excellent choice of breakfast but never tried the Brassiere restaurant in the hotel. We did eat twice in the attached pub, The Farmers Arms, which was very nice food. The spa is on the small side but given you can use the facilities for free as part of your stay, adequate for a few days. The hotel is located in ideal position to enable you to visit many areas.

The staff were very helpful and friendly the swimming pool and facilities were amazing, there was a wedding on that night and some of the guests were a little noisey however it was only till eleven pm xx which wasn't to late

This the first time we have stayed at a best western hotel and it was very nice for us both from the time we walk in to the time we left it was just for one day and night. but we just loved it so clean .and the gardens were so well looked after.the swimming poll we nice and clean also. and the pub food there was also very nice.but we must also say all the staff we saw were very nice also. great stay for us both.

Lovely hotel, food superb as you would expect from a Best Western hotel. Efficient and polite staff. All requests acted on immediately. Everywhere clean and smart. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return often.

We stayed for four nights over our wedding anniversary. Excellent room with a balcony overlooking the garden and countryside beyond. Well appointed with everything you could need. The staff were without exception smart, friendly and professional. We dined in the restaurant each evening and, despite there being a large coach party in throughout our stay, we received excellent service. The food was of good quality, well prepared and presented. Having noted that it was our anniversary, they decorated our table and gave us a complimentary pre-dinner drink. A very nice touch which was much appreciated. The gym is clean and quite well equiped and there is a very nice pool with sauna and steam room. The location is excellent for access to the picturesque coast with good walks. We have in fact only scratched the surface of what the area has to offer and so will be returning.

Was in Friday night for a meal and some drinks had great service throughout would like to give a special mention to Ciara and Ariesha for making us feel very welcome. will definitely be back in the near future.

I stayed for two nights with my fiancé. The bedroom was a generous size with lovely shower products and nice selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate. We sampled an afternoon tea, at the end of September (we managed to sit outside in the sun!) and Pearl served us. She's such a lovely lady and went above and beyond setting us a table up outside and was so attentive. I recommend spending a day around Hunstanton, we walked along the beach and stopped at one of the many coffee shops over looking the beautiful views. You'll find lots of amusement arcades and independent shops to keep you busy too! There's also a Lavendar Farm nearby with pretty gardens. We also went to Kings Lynn, some well known shop brands there for a spot of shopping. On our last day we both had a massage at the Spa. It was so relaxing, I thoroughly recommend it. It's just next to the hotel, you can walk over in your bathrobe if you want to! The hotel staff are so helpful and really welcoming. We will definitely be returning.

My friend and I stayed here for one overnight stay which included breakfast. We have friends in Snettisham so it's location was just perfect. Lovely setting in the countryside. Our twin room was comfortable and clean and we both enjoyed a really good nights sleep. Lovely quality bedding. The bathroom was very clean and modern. We got up and made use of spa and had an early morning swim as the use of this was included. There were only 3 other people using the pool and the jacuzzi afterwards was very nice. Breakfast was very delicious plenty of choice to help yourself. Porridge eggs any other way than fried and fish could be ordered . Staff every where offered a friendly and professional service, Now we have found this lovely hotel we will stay here for all our future trips when we visit our friends in Snettisham.

We go for Sunday lunch there on a regular basis...and the food is always first class...we thought we would try a evening meal....the meal..as always was lovly...but the waiting staff could do better...I do not like dead flowers in a vase on my table...the staff seemed more interested in chatting to each other than the needs of there customers...very slow on clearing tables and bringing menus...and I guess the manager was new..not well dressed and 'how are you folks doing' is not a good question.

We've stayed here several times before, and really like this hotel. This time we were here for a two-night break with friends. We had a garden room, very comfortable and spacious, with French doors opening on to a private patio, and overlooking the garden and fields at the back. A lovely room. But our friends had a problem with their bed, so the staff moved them to a different room in the middle of the night. The next morning their neighbours had the TV on excessively loudly, and although our friends complained to the reception staff they were unwilling to take any action, apart from moving our friends to yet another room! So the situation was resolved in a way, but our friends didn't have a restful night's sleep! Unfortunately, there were also some problems with poor service in the Garden Restaurant (for which I have written a separate review). So our break was not as relaxing as we'd hoped! We like the hotel, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, and we have always found the hotel staff pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay again, but hope our next visit will go more smoothly.

My boyfriend and I came here for what we thought would be a lovely meal out. We have been here before and it was great so we thought - let's go again. We got there at about 6:50pm, got our drinks, had our starters shortly after, which were exceedingly overpriced. Over an hour had past and we had still not received our main courses. We asked the staff where it was and they chased it up. Soon, our food was in front of us. My boyfriend's burger was way overdone, charcoaled and so hard it got stuck in your teeth. He tapped it with his knife and you could hear it wasn't right. After waiting for over an hour for our food, we then had to eat separately after they brought out his second burger 15 minutes later. We are extremely disappointed with our meal out tonight and will not be visiting again.

we stayed here for two nights and used the hotel as a base to explore north Norfolk.we had a wonderful stay and wish it had been longer,from entering reception the staff were friendly and helpful and we were thrilled to have been upgraded to a superior room which overlooked the gardens.The room was huge the bed king size ,the bathroom lovely with gilcrist and soames toiletries. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice staff were again friendly and helpful.We had a meal one evening at the farmers arms restaurant which was enjoyable .There is a spa at the hotel which looked great but we didn't have time to use.We cant wait to stay here again!! ,my tip is to book through the hotel I phoned reception and got a very good rate

Lovely location with friendly helpful staff. Food its very good and great value. Breakfast was amazing. Rooms are clean tidy and well kept. The bar in the function room had limited selection of drinks but service was great.Will defiantly stay again.

The hotel is spacious clean and comfortable with ample car parking. It is a Best Western plus hotel with emphasis on the plus. Checking in was smooth and seamless with most helpful staff. If you can't manage your bags they will do so for you. We had what they call a "Garden room" although it was on the first floor. It had an ample balcony and faced the garden. The room was very spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was more than adequate and as with the rest of the room spotless. Toiletries were provided as was tea and coffee making facilities. As you would expect from a four star hotel the service was excellent. It boasts a beautiful garden and a lovely terrace for those sundowners. On site is a large pub come pub restaurant. We cannot comment on this as we did not use it but judging by the number of people who did it must be very popular. We ate at the hotel in the hotel restaurant. Everything we ate over the two evenings was cooked to perfection and enjoyable. There is a goodly selection of reasonably priced wines. Breakfast is taken buffet style but again the food was of very good quality and quantity. All the staff we encountered were a credit to the hotel; all being most helpful and pleasant As a guest we used the swimming pool but not the spa. The pool and jacuzzi was everything you would expect with fluffy towels supplied. If you are travelling in Norfolk this hotel is worth a detour just to stay there. It is right on the doorstep of Kings Lynn which is a lovely market town well worth at least a full days visit.

This is a very pleasant hotel, the room was spotless, the wedding fayre very good and breakfast superb. The bed was firm and comfortable although we found the pillows a little firm. The location is very easy to find, and parking is adequate. We would stay here again. 8

A very good hotel. Excellent rooms in a pleasant garden setting. Associated pub was very full, hot and noisy so we ate in main restaurant which was very good. I expected a typical 4* box, but this is much better than that.

Third stay and it never seems to disappoint there always is some sort of function yet we have never felt inconvenienced. Facilities are good though the pool was quite busy.Breakfast and the evening meal, next door, were as good as always.

Arrived to be greeted by friendly staff who explained the services well and booked us a table at the on site pub. Staff were welcoming in the pub and the food was very good. The room was lovely, with all the facilities we required and plenty of teas and coffees. Beautiful shower room. Extremely clean. We slept really well as the beds were very comfortable. Lovely breakfast choice too. Would return again.

I stayed here for a night away with my other half as a treat away from the kids. Whilst here we had our meal in the garden restaurant where we were served by a lovely young man who was very polite and helpful. We ordered and encountered a problem with one of our meals and we asked to speak to the supervisor who was called Victoria, she was extremely helpful and instantly rectified the problem and we couldn't have been more pleased with her service along with the service overall. Will definitely stay here again very much enjoyed our stay indeed.

Despite making a reservation upon arrival at hotel reception, it took a while to get a table, don't know why. Did not get served because waiter “misplaced the ticket” of my order. He only found out 45 minutes after taking the order. As it was getting late after a long day of travel, I decided not to wait another half hour and leave the Farmers Arms. Made a report at reception, who offered a table in the main restaurant, “available in 15 minutes”, making my day even longer. I declined. I ate my fruit and the cookies in the room, drank tea, reviewed the situation and decided there should be other places in the area that are less pretentious and are better suited to business travelers' needs and went to bed. This place is not for the occasional business guest with limited time or living between time zones; it may be great for formal dinners and other events, but that was clearly not the purpose of my stay. Soon after I went to bed, the fire alarm rang. Barely realising where I was or what happened, I got up and put some clothes on. Before I reached the door of my room, it stopped. False alarm, fortunately. Breakfast was OK, plenty of food available, healthy as well as the traditional breakfast, and very formal, “wait to be seated”, again. Phones were not allowed. Nice and quiet, but another sign of not being a business oriented place. Would have liked a few pieces of fruit to take with me for snacking later in the day, but only mixed fruit salads for immediate consumption. No, if I need to come back in this area, I will stay somewhere else.

Stayed here recently and found it to be a nice hotel although rooms were a little small for me, nice pub next door if your into your ales food was good too, a heated pool onsite but if you want to use the spa facilities its extra which was a bit misleading on the website but hey other than that enjoyed the stay here.

A real mixed bag, this hotel. Reception friendly, room spacious, nice big bathroom but the shower head fell off whilst using it, which could have caused a nasty accident. When the shower was working, it sprayed water over the bathroom as the shower screen wasn't big enough to cater for the powerful spray (Great shower though, when it was intact). Had to ask for the bed sheet to be changed as there was a suspicious looking yellow stain on the sheet when we arrived. Garden restaurant overpriced, I had a vegetarian meal and it was a tiny mushroom with some slivers of tofu. The prosecco was warm as they hadn't put it in the fridge, and the staff although friendly were a bit slow at service. That said, breakfast was pretty good. If you do find yourself in this hotel, eat in the Farmers Arms next door, but affiliated to the hotel. Food much better with generous portions, good value, although the service can be a bit slow. The worst thing when we checked out is that they tried to charge us for drinks, at a time and day we hadn't even been on site! Whilst they accepted we hadn't ordered them it's a bit unfortunate to be presented with a bill for something you didn't have. Positive points - quiet hotel, the beds were very comfortable, and as other reviewers have stated, close for some sight seeing (ideal for Sandringham). I would just expect a bit better for the price.

Stayed for two nights to relax and recharge. We paid £300 for the two nights (not cheap!) Unfortunately the hotel is very dated. The rooms (although clean) have dated furniture and fitting the bed however was extremely comfortable. It's been a long while since I've seen a beige bathroom suite with two taps! Both nights sleep were interrupted by the first night (1.30am)guests outside making a lot of noise laughing and talking (not something the hotel can do much about except be aware and ask guests to return to rooms) Second night about 2am woken by a faulty fire alarm! Used the pool, this was heavily chlorineated so only used once, whole complex needs updating. Had two lovely meals in the restaurant ( wanted to use the other cheaper one on the second night but no tables wasn't told we had to precook!) although food was very good staff need a little more training, had long wait for bread water etc The hotel is a perfect base for north Norfolk sadly let down by old dated rooms and facilities.

Very large and comfortable rooms; ours had French door leading into a walled garden with a charming border. Pool and jacuzzi hit the spot after a long day's touring. At the junction of two busy roads and the traffic can be heard in the background, but not to disturb sleep. Good sunset views over this west-facing part of East Anglia.

This hotel has a sprawling resort type layout with ample parking and ground floor rooms. It is a few miles from Kings Lynn so you really need a car. It is well located for visiting Norfolk attractions such as Sandringham and Holkham Hall. Our room was comfortable & quiet. There is a pub at the front and restaurant past reception, giving easy dining options if you don't want to go into town. The breakfast offering was good.

My friend and I went on a girly spa weekend to Knights Hill recently. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, apart from the curtain that we had to fix back up, but it had all the facilities that we might need. The evening meal was ok; being a Sunday I went for a traditional beef roast. I couldn't actually cut the brocolli as it was not so much 'al dente' but completely raw. The Yorkshire pudding was also a little bit tough around the edges. Thank goodness for the gravy. Saved my teeth. The meal was over priced I thought at £17.95, but at least that was included in the price of the package. The spa area was lovely with a couple of aromatherapy steam rooms, showers and foot spas. The relaxation room was very relaxing, although not big enough with only 4 loungers and a hard seating area covered by a throw and some cushions. The swimming pool was inviting and had a jacuzzi situated next to it. There was also another sauna and steam room. My friend and I went back to use the pool facilities the next day after check out, but after an hour of swimming and generally lounging around, everyone was asked to leave as there was a burst water pipe affecting the whole complex. It cut our trip short but we had enjoyed our time there the day before. The staff were all very friendly and polite, especially Olivia, a young beauty therapist who went above and beyond in answering our questions and sorting out our requests. I would recommend Knights Hill and Spa, although not perfect, nothing ever is, I did enjoy my time there.

If you want a hotel that's close to the delights of the North Norfolk Coastal Resorts, RSBP Snettisham and Titchwell, Sandringham House then look no further. We had endured a bad experience at a Best Western Hotel a few years ago and vowed never to stay in another hotel in that group. After reading the reviews on trip advisor and getting a great deal by booking direct with the hotel we decided to take the plunge. The overall experience was very good. The hotel is clean, if the décor is a little dated, the leisure centre is good, the staff are cheerful and helpful and our room (a garden double) was very well appointed complete with a private patio and garden furniture. We ate in the Garden Brasserie Restaurant where the food was delicious and reasonably priced. A very nice all round experience so many thanks to the team at the hotel.

Booked this hotel, as a Best Western club member, and have always rated BW hotels for quality of rooms and especially restaurants. The quality of the rooms, we are staying in a superior garden room, is really good, plenty of room, huge bed and comfortable seating. Patio overlooking large lawn area, with just a short walk to Garden bar. Room would benefit from a mini fridge. The issues we have had, after just one day, have been with the catering. On arrival we decided to have a drink and sandwich while our room was being prepared, we arrived early. The quality of the bread used to make the sandwiches was probably the worst supermarket type sliced bread ever, which meant we immediately changed our minds about having one of the cream teas later on during our visit. Having travelled for over 5 hours on day one, we chose to eat in the garden brasserie. My partner chose the pork belly, with black pudding, on arrival no black pudding, when asked where it was, we were told that they didn't have any! The catering manager later came and apologised and advised that it had been removed from menu. Too late to change his choice though. Our first breakfast this morning, offered a lovely range of quality sausages,bacon and mushrooms etc. But please, up-selling omelettes, kippers, espresso, and cappachino coffee on top of the £15 breakfast charge is excessive. I'm sure we will enjoy the rest of our stay in the great room, but will look elsewhere for evening meals. Sorry Knights Hill, I don't write negative reviews as a matter of course, but your catering is letting you down.

I always enjoy staying at the knightshill hotel, very friendly staff, good quality food and service, the rooms were very clean. the fitness centre is also very good and is part of the stay. the scenery is very nice around the area and it is a short distance from the town

Only reason not a 5 score is lack of effective cooling in the rooms. The rooms are spacious, comfortable ( apart from when hot) and very clean. All the staff are extremely welcoming and the leisure facilities are good and not too busy

Fancied going away bank holiday weekend so this was a last minute booking.Plenty pf parking spaces lady on reception very pleasant.Once in the room there were only two towels phone call more arrived.The room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom.The meal in the evening was nice especially the cheeseboard which was a change to either have a choice of three four or five cheeses that included Cornish Yarg.Breakfast was plentiful "could have done without kids running around though cant blame the hotel for that".The spa we only used the pool again kids dive bombing!For £165 i would stay again.

Hotel is in a good location to explore parts of Norfolk. Rooms where nice and clean and a good size. The hotel is all a bit dated and in my opinion needs modernisation but some people may like it. The pub attached to the hotel is very nice drinks are reasonable prices but the food was a bit of a disappointment cold and tough.this is my second trip here and would stay again.

Generally very good but would like to have had fish on the breakfast menue. Also, not keen on breakfast buffet. Food tends to dry out under the heat lamps. Swimming pool and changing rooms very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Had travelled to Old Hunstanton on Sunday 27th May for day, enjoyed it so much decided to stay.No rooms anywhere so headed home.Called in on off chance&bingo&v good receptionist.Good price,Lovely room,free spa &would recommend it

Room was good, with dual aspect windows, clean and comfortable with a powerful shower over the bath. Dinner was tasty, portion sizes were good and the service was friendly and efficient. The gym was well laid out with decent equipment although we didn't get time to try out the pool. Next time we stay we would like to try one of the superior rooms with a balcony or terrace.

Stayed here for a weekend away in Norfolk. When we first arrived to check in, the hotel didn't have our booking on system. Luckily they still had rooms available and we got an upgrade to a garden suite which was good compensation. The room was really big and had access to a lovely garden, and the bathroom was nice and clean also. The decor was slightly outdated however. We also ate at the Garden restaurant in the evening. The service, although polite and professional, felt a bit rushed to take our orders, and meant we didn't feel as relaxed. The decor again was a bit outdated, but it had lovely views. Just returned home from a stay here and couldn't have had a better time. We had a small double room but it was plenty but enough. Really clean and comfy, and the bathroom was big and a lovely shower! There was tea and biscuits and the tv has sky as well which we weren't expecting! The staff were very friendly too. We also ate in the restaurant and there was a great selection of food and drinks and it was delicious! There was a good play area too which would be good if you have kids! Overall would highly recommend this hotel, We also used the spa facilities and had massages, which were very nice. They could do with a few more beds around the pool, as there were only three beds and the rest just chairs. Overall had a nice stay, but with a few areas of improvement.

A very pleasant hotel with a nice sized pool and gym attached, which if I'd had appropriate clothing I would have used. There is a choice of hotel restaurant or adjacent pub for dinner. Breakfast in the restaurant was what one expects, although the layout could be better the food was fine. We had the cheapest room for one night, bed was great, in bath shower not great (but it was as one would expect). Overall, I'd go back again, but probably go for a room with a walk in shower.

I have stayed at the hotel for a couple of months now with work. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful and have provided excellent customer service. The restaurant staff are delightful and nothing is too much trouble. Sadly I can't remember all their names but a special mention goes to Vaiva, Tiffany and Cheryl - thanks ladies.

Lovely hotel, room was enormous, it was a twin garden view with a patio and table and chairs. Inside there were two beds and a table with 4 armchairs. The bed was so comfortable and there was everything we needed. We used the on-site Imagine spa, very nice! Food in the restaurant was superb and also in the on site pub/restaurant. Staff were lovely and helpful. I would definitely go again!

This hotel is a bit outside Kings Lynn but a short drive to the centre. The hotel itself is old but really nice. I stayed in a few different rooms during my stay there and I can't say I had a bad one. Especially what I think was the honeymoon suite. That room was incredible. The gym and swimming pool are really nice. The hotel restaurant food is fantastic. It is modern and the specials change daily with innovative dishes. There is also a pub on the site if you wanted to mix it up or have something less fancy. A decent selection of typical pub foods with again, daily specials. There is a decent selection of beers and ciders too.

Had a proper winning evening in the farmers arms pub and Laura and Risha were by far the finest bar maids I've ever been served by All round bloody great visit, again Laura and Risha were fantastic Decor needs work but still lovely place

We got married at the Knights Hill on Saturday 14th April, we had the most perfect day! The hotel staff were all lovely, so helpful. The food was amazing and all of the guests were blown away with it. The whole day was run smoothly from start to finish, best day of our lives and we couldn't have wanted anything else! Thankyou!! ??

The Hotel is in itself quite lovely as is the food . What is disappointing is the attitude when you have cause for complaint . I telephoned the Spa to book in for treatments as suggested on the email I received 3 days prior to arrival . The Spa was fully booked . As I have a pool and Hot Tub at home it seemed a waste of money but as no cancellation was allowed we decided to make the best of it . I had already emailed and asked if Robes Slippers and towels were provided for the Spa and was told they were . I was not however told that there is a charge of £5 for these unless you have a treatment booked - which you can't book because they have no free slots . Upon emailing my complaint the Hotel hide behind “ well the Spa is completely separate to the Hotel “ so why is it emblazoned all over your website then . So if you are booking to enjoy the Spa don't as their literature says in the room “ contact reception for an appointment “ or as their confirmation email states why not treat yourself to a relaxing massage because there aren't any appointments and they really couldn't give a damn .

This hotel deserves the Certificate of Excellence !! We enjoyed weekend stay at Knights Hill. Everything was great: Very comfortable and exceptionally clean rooms that has everything you need, friendly and helpful staff, especially Zoe on reception. Very tasty breakfast and the swimming pool. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely two night stay here. On our first night we ate in the adjoining pub and, after ordering, had to wait an hour before we actually received our food which was mediocre at best. My husband had gammon and I had a burger with pulled pork and cheese which was very dry. The following evening we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. The food in the hotel was superb, a bit more expensive but the quality and service far exceeded the pub. Our bedroom was good, comfortable bed and large bathroom with a super shower. Breakfast provided everything you could possibly want to start your day. We would definitely recommend staying here.
