"Desperately needs maintenance, good value overall"

Power went out and thats not their fault anf they were accommodating, great service for house keeping and front desk butafter the power came back on and beforehand i had half the outlets in room 200 not work and the computers in the lobby had to be switched to another outlet and this place just needs TLC but good price and value overall. Im a little upset but whats to expect from greenspoint neighborhood and the fact the hotel isnt brand new and outdated but the management and ownership needs to fix this before they lose business quickly. Beware of cheap online deals, the hotel is basically in need of repairs but you can save $$$ easy

"Not a very clean property"

Hotel is not very clean doesn't seem to use bleach. Had blood stains on sheets. Under the toilet seat was blood stains. House keeping jams out to music while cleaning rooms. Dirty sheet was thrown on floor and house keeping put the old dirty one back on the bed.

Best Western needs to drop this place quick and in a hurry. Don't believe the scripted pictures and description saying this is a renovated property. There is truly nothing renovated about the property. I really would like to use graphic profanity but it'll get rejected so I'll just type my review with my middle fingers. We didn't last an hour before deciding to run away. Check in was simple and John was nice.... that's all. The elevator ride up to the room should've told us all we needed to know. The floor was disgusting and the elevator looked as if it was half torn apart. Massive amounts trash just randomly laying about. Upon entering the room I knew beyond all doubt we messed up. We were greeted by a spider friend who I courageously fought to the death, he was small but a good fighter. Where there is a baby, there should be more and an overly protective mother hiding somewhere. The smell in the room was of 6 week old curry and feces, possibly a really bad cigar. The beds upon sitting on them were definitely going to be a no go. Bending freely in the middle and old mattresses. The prerequisite mattress inspection showed me dried rice under one mattress. If you don't like road noise or maybe you do, this is the place for you. The road noise coming through the HVAC unit was like having a window open the whole time. We had a random 1960s era lamp in the room, not even plugged in but just sitting there with the cord wrapped around it, doing nothing. While there, a picture just randomly falls off the bathroom wall. Yup, picture of a vase of flowers in the bathroom, just sayin. The outside of the property was gross, with random trash everywhere. When in the back of the building look up at like 3 different rooms with broken windows. Also is that blood on the sprinkler head?? The pool was closed, I guess.... it was covered in a layer of soot/film, like it hadn't been cleaned in days. See my enclosed pictures, we were given a full refund and rightfully so. John was very helpful and understanding. That's the extent of the good qualities. Don't trust the good reviews, they are only people content with cheaper prices and quality doesn't count at all.

"Black Mold/Musty and Dirty"

Like the title says. It was Dirty, Musty, Mold in the bathroom, random screws in the wall. The breakfast there wasnt enough milk for cereal. There was only one yogurt left. The Ice machine didnt work. I will not be back.

"Get what you pay for"

Elevator was broken on the 4th floor so had to carry all my luggage down the stairs. Curtains and floor were stained badly all around but at least the bed had the strong odor of Bleach which let me know it was clean.

Pleasant stay here at this hotel. The only thing was that the elevator was down so it wasn't fun walking up 4 flight of stairs. The hotel was clean. Pretty easy check-in but note there is $50 deposit cash or card. Even if you are an elite member. Good location around a whole of things.

I am super bad with names. However she was the only thing good about the hotel. She checked me in on Saturday about 3:30 pm. She thanked me for using my points. She had a smile on her face, recommended me some places to see while on my stay. Etc... Wrong/complaints Pubic hairs in the bathroom very gross especially in the tub.. One battery in the remote so had to go get a battery. No ice in the building because the machine was broken. Button on the lamp was broken off. Trash from previous tenants left on the ground behind the fridge. Broken elevator on the last day with a bad knee that wasn't a great experience. All of these I could live with. Grossed out of course but I could look past it... however, I decided to move the coffee pot to a night stand due to no plug available where they place it on top of the refrigerator stand.... in moving the tray low and behold a baggie of cocane! Imagine my shock! I of course destroyed it and threw the bag away!

No ice available, curtains let a lot of light in, live cockroach in the room, staff never smiled, breakfast was half the promised items. Police were called twice in 8 hours. Worst hotel experience of my life.

+ clean inside (no creepy crawlers) +lobby area is nice + couple friendly front desk staff (wish i would've got names) - building needs some upgrading remodeling (interior & exterior) 1. Elevators (3 out of 4 days no elevators) 2. Hallways & stairwells needs some plug-in & stain cleaning 3. Circle drive needs clean (cigarette butts everywhere 4. Rooms smelled like smoke coming from A/C or thru walls (another room) 5. Communication & Customer service training for staff A. Breakfast lady had attitude because we ask for plates (May 7th -730 am you shouldn't run out of plates - guest went to her room & shared her personal paper plates (smh)). B. Why did i have to stand as t elevator 5 minutes before staff says "oh i think they working on elevator" well you think a sign Should be put up? C. 3rd fl didn't have ice machine went to lobby, didn't see one ask Ms. Breakfast attitude lady she told me 2nd fl, walked up stairs ice machine not working (communication) 6. Breakfast needs improvement & longer hours. Very disappointed considering it was a factor in me choosing this hotel verses the one i stayed at last yearwhich was closer to my conference. Probably could go on but I'll stop, wish I can share more than 10 pictures

I am a Gold member of Best Western and first time I felt so bad when I stayed in the hotel which is operated by Best Western. Smelly rooms, No refrigerator and Fridge etc.. uncomfortable beds, nothing good to day about this hotel. I am requesting best western team, don't operate these kind of hotels under you brand because it spoils your brand and loss your members like me. customers can pay bit more to get all the facilities they want but don't offer for cheap price and ruine their experience.

"STAY AWAY from this roach motel!"

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. As we were driving in, there was a drug deal taking place in the parking lot, it smelled like weed in the halls & elevators and there were roaches (including baby roaches) in out hotel room! Shady people all over!

the room was clean and spacious. the bed was comfortable to sleep in. the room was worth the money i paid for the one night i stayed. the night clerk needs to be retrained. the elevator needs to be fixed.

We came very late, just past 1am (we had a prior reservation), and were warmly greeted by a gentleman at the front desk. The room was nothing to write home about, but the key card worked flawlessly and it was clean, neat and tidy. Internet was good and fast (signal quality: 4/5). We had to get up early, so we setup alarms on both our phones and requested a wake-up call. Our alarms woke us up, as the wake-up call was some 5min.s late. Not a big deal, but still... Breakfast was on the cheap side, just various breads (all white, no healthy ones) and cheese, but we didn't expect a gourmand feast, so it was along our expectations and it filled us up well for the next 6-8hr.s. We chose this hotel as it was the nearest reasonable place available for Aeroplan Miles close to the airport, and, in the same situation, we'd definitely go back again. But if paying out of the pocket, there are places in the same price/quality range 1/3 or 1/4 of this distance from the airport and the taxis in Houston tend to be pricey. The best part of the room were very firm mattresses (they felt very new), something that is frequently in short supply even at much more luxurious places than this one.

We chose this hotel for it's convenient location near the airport but not too near. We were disappointed that it does not have an airport shuttle but the staff were happy to arrange a taxi for us in the early morning. One of our two tablets connected to the internet just fine, the other not at all, probably due to the age of the tablets.

Our room had cockroaches and when we told the staff they said “it's just cockroaches. It happens” then proceed to chuckle at my very upset fiancè. It was the worst stay I've ever had. Honestly think the place should be shut down

"Decent for over night, but probably won't stay again"

I didn't do too much research before I booked the hotel here. From the outside, it looked great and it was relatively close to the airport (17 minutes). When we got to our room, though, the door wouldn't close and we spent about 5+ minutes trying to get it to close and lock. Finally, we realized that it wouldn't close unless you physically picked it up and shut it. The room was decent - we had a king bed and it was comfortable. The walls were kind of dirty, though, and it just didn't seem like it had been cleaned very much at all. Since we were essentially only sleeping there (we left around 430 am to catch a flight), we weren't too concerned, but I probably would not stay there again. The front desk young lady was very nice, but I just expected more in terms of cleanliness and upkeep for the rooms. I didn't have the free breakfast there or use the wifi so I cannot comment on any of those, but I would say this hotel has not been updated for a while and could use some funding to improve the rooms, especially.

"Ironic: best price and nicest place"

Took a budget trip with my son to TX for his birthday present. This hotel was the nicest facility we slept in on this three night trip. Ironically, it was the lowest price of the three hotels. You can tell it's an older hotel, but has been given some fairly decent upgrades. Obnoxious blue hallways are a bit crazy, but in the room it was all decent. Older in some ways but still felt modern and clean. If I had to find something wrong with the place, it would have to be the continual smell of pot smoke coming in from the hallway. We had to take the runners from the beds and pack the in front of the doorway to keep the smoke odor out of our room. Room walls were not the best insulated, either. I travel extensively for work and pleasure and comment on every hotel I stay in - both the good and bad. TripAdvisor has been a great tool in my bookings, and it's my way to contribute to the community.

The price was cheap, if you dont let the people smoking weed when you walk in bother you.Maids do a great job ,sometimes forget to leave enough towels or wash rags but overall good.Breakfast is never on time,and most things are never fresh except eggs and sausage.

During many years of traveling around the world and more frequently to the United States of America, I have stayed in cheap and luxury hotels, among the first ones they have always been above average in quality of service, this time I arrived at a hotel in bad taste with a depressing reception, the room without any basic service, with hostile guests and very bad hygiene that made our stay annoying and coupled with this a depressing breakfast and we had to ask for the toilet of the room every day. They claim to have the support of Best Western, it would be useful for that organization to review the conditions of this place since when I have stayed at a Best Western hotel the attention has been very different.

"Cheap, Quiet, Clean and great staff"

Layover at Houston airport; decided to stay for a quick night sleep . Inexpensive, clean and quiet hotel that even includes shuttle and breakfast. Hard to beat for the price , better service than other more expensive hotels . Call ahead for shuttle as this is a personalized service offered by hotel . Quick shout out to Randy & Maya who picked me up drive me back in the morning and gave truly exceptional service . Great people .

The hotel is close to the highway. Close to restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly, specially Sara. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good, hot meal. No complains from me. We had a great stay.

That's right I'm a victim of a robbery in the hotels lobby just as I was checking out somebody in there robbed me, management refused to help me recovery or assist in recovery of my medicine and money to help me to find the person or the police or to offer any kind of compensation think twice before coming to this hotel...

"Not good"

The price was right so we booked. The property itself is nice and the staff is very friendly. That's where the good things end. The noise from the freeway is very loud all night long and the light coming in the window (even with blinds closed) is like daylight all night long. It was the worst hotel bed I've ever tried to sleep in and was sunken in the middle. Had to take a COLD shower at 6:30 in the morning because apparently at that time of day there is no hot water. Breakfast is “full” but there were empty containers so you couldn't actually have everything that should've been there. And the neighborhood is rough so I worried about our vehicle all night.

This hotel is very nice. It has very clean rooms and the hotel staff is super nice.the price is very reasonable and pool was nice also. I didn't see any downfalls with this place other than Houston traffic.

This is a Sure Stay by Best Western, The hotel is a sort of yellow color and almost a throw back in style. It is newly opened and not many folks at present but sure to change. The check in was fast and efficient and the young ladies at he counter were super helpful. There is elevator if needed, however begin on the 2nd floor I just took the stairs, The key card is a hold on none slot type. Upon entry you pass the large sink / mirror across from the bath area. The room was very spacious king bed that was plush and many pillows that were like clouds. There is a huge flat screen TV must be 55in and all the normal new fair. Microwave, Coffee Pot, Fridge. It had a sitting area and desk work area, will plenty of lamps and power ports. WIFI was included and had no issue with connect or doing work. There is a full type breakfast in the morning, eggs, sausage, bacon, breads, muffins, fruit. Plenty of coffee and juice along with cereal. I had no issue and felt safe and fine and no issue with vehicle or travel. All all excellent trip and stay, I only wish could remember the folks name at the counter to call out specific, but every one there was hands down excellent.
