Best Western Plus Hinton Inn & Suites

This is my third time staying here within the past 3 months. The staff are always so friendly. Very welcoming when you first get there and very friendly and helpful. Rooms and hotel it's self always so clean.

I have stayed at Best Western all my life since I was six years old and my parents took me to Grand Forks ND I love best western this has been the exception everything that could go wrong with this hotel had gone wrong I don't have the capacity to say all the things that have gone wrong but everything went wrong mostly customer service mold noise bad food bad vibe just terrible

Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean rooms. Hinton is just east of the mountains. Short one hour drive to Jasper. This hotel is fairly new and is located on the east side of hinton away from the main town. Very quiet and easy access.

This property is on the extreme east end of Hinton. If you are not familiar, will appear that you have left town. Exceptionally clean and wonderful beds. Everything is as you should have everywhere but you don't.

Our family enjoyed a few days away from the city to enjoy the mountain atmosphere. The hotel is comfortable, clean and the rooms are spacious. Overall we didn't notice much noise throughout the hotel. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub which were also very clean (a nice to have would be soap in the shower, looks like it used to have dispensers setup). The complimentary breakfast had a hot and cold variety of food and was generous and delicious.

Best hotel. Stayed there during a hockey tournament. 4hockey teams at once and everyone was happy and taken care off. Staff are amazing and so pleasant. Breakfast was great. Great price for what we received.

Nice stay for the night. Quite room. Nice staff. Easy checking in and out. Clean room and hotel. Breakfast was ok, just typical food for a hotel breakfast, scrambled eggs, sausage, and hash brown potatoes. Would stay again

Our volleyball team's stay was exceptional. Seamless check in, spacious and clean rooms, and courteous staff. The breakfast has heart shaped waffles, sprinkles and whip cream and so many other offerings that were above and beyond!!

We arrived at this hotel at 7 pm on 21st Sept. We had been up early so we were in bed at 8 pm. At 930 pm we were woken by a long hammering on our door. My husband put his clothes on quickly and opened it . A woman dressed in black walked away saying we just wanted to check you were in for the night. We found this odd but put it to the back of our minds. I said to my husband did you bolt door. He said yes. We went back to sleep but I woke and thought I would check bolt. It wasn't on. I put it on and went back to sleep. At 11.30 we woke to hear someone trying to force their way in to the room. We both jumped up and they ran off. Thank god I had put lock on. We checked out and got a refund.she said staff we not ask if we were in! There is no security on doors to reception. Anyone can walk in and out. I found it quite frightening.

Don't hesitate to stay at the BW+. We had an amazing stay - the hotel has great amenities, so clean, the breakfast is amazing. There are some great restaurants minutes away, and of course great access to Jasper National Park. We had the wonderful surprise of discovering the Beaver Boardwalk in Hinton, less than a 5 minute drive from the hotel. It was one of our favorite parts of the trip! Absolutely worth the visit - go early in the morning or around dusk to enjoy some busy beavers.

From walking into the hotel entrance, the rooms, the service, the pool, and the amazing hot breakfast! we were very impressed with it all. the only thing i wish was different was the pricing for families even if it was a deal as if you did a discount for more than one night.

I booked this hotel for 2 nights from 06/10/2023 to 06/12/2023 through priceline.com on 05/24/2023 and paid full. The hotel charged me again for 2 nights and I called the hotel 15 times and emailed 3-4 times but unable to reach the manager for refund. Called the price line and priceline called the hotel but hotel said that they don't have anyone who can authorize the refund for the double charge for same satays. The worst experiences I ever had with a hotel and I dont recommend this hotel for anyone.

Customer service was not the best. The person at the counter was chewing gum and speaking quickly - throwing information at us and it was difficult to catch. They didn't even tell us everything we needed to know. The trolley was difficult to push and had no things to hang your items on. When we asked for a fitted sheet for the pullout bed (as it was missing from the bed clothes) they told us to come down and get it ourselves instead of sending someone up with it. And, when we got down they didn't even remember what we asked for when we had just called down for it moments prior. We gave a three star because the breakfast was good. There was so much stuff and was very well organized. They had toppings for the oatmeal and waffles which we don't see often. Some stuff was even individually wrapped.

An excellent place to stay including a hot breakfast, exercise room, pool and hot tub. A convenient locations with restaurants and gas bar near by. Also a good staging place for visiting Jasper National Park and surrounding attractions.

We stayed here for one night during our travels home from vacation. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

the manager at this location is being blindesided by the head of houskeeping ,she is quick to lie about issues and or places blame on the other staff, she told us that she would personaly look after our room to make sure things get done right after we complaned to the manager and had a meeting with him and her and the next day our room again we missed , when we again complaind to him she told him a lie and said that another member of house keeping said our card on the door was flipped to do not disturb , which it was not. what I dont see is how another staff member even matters if she previously said she (Personally) would make up our room.

Would come back, all around pleasant stay. No concerns with anything. Staff are efficient, rooms are large, updated and clean. Did not use gym or pool this time around but a previous trip there were no issues.

Lovely hotel with clean vibs everywhere you looked. Our room was great, bedding was wonderful and some amenities also. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and I would consider full course breakfast with lots of seating available. Was in the pool and hot tub area, very well kept also.

My husband and I checked into the Best Western Plus in Hinton on May 5 around 4pm. About an hour later the front desk staff said they were on evacuation alert due to wildfires in the area. They advised us to leave and drive further west to Jasper and they were turning people away at the front desk and advising them to go west due to the evacuation alert. I was concerned and asked if we would be reimbursed for the night if we left and both front desk clerks assured us that we would as we were only in the room for an hour or so and did not touch the bed. We drove further west and had to ish for another hotel that night. After a few days I checked my account and I had not been reimbursed. I called the hotel and talked to the manager. She told me that the front desk clerk should not have told us that we would be reimbursed and she could do nothing else about it. We are a retired couple and this is a big expense for us. We feel that we were taken advantage of by this Best Western location. We would suggest you take your business elsewhere in Hinton as there are several hotels close by.

We like to stay in this hotel, very clean, comfortable beds and really good breakfast. We've already been there 3 or 4 times and it's always perfect, never had problems or issues with something. Really like this place.

After being evacuated from fires from Edson, AB a May 5/23. We were told the rooms would be $109/night. After receiving our bill it was to our surprise that the rate for 1 night was $209 and another night was $189. I spoke to the manager and was told “that's the rate” I have contacted the head office and they stated “they will look into it “. I have also reported it to the MLA and the ombudsman ( I will go to the media if I have to). I have always stayed at Best Western hotels but, after this incident if it is not resolved I will never stay at this hotel again. During a very stressful time in our lives this is the last thing I expected from the Best Western, it is very disappointing

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is possibly the best BW Plus hotel we have ever been in. The restaurant on site, yes, on site was excellent. The rooms were spacious, clean and the whole bathroom was private - ie not sink in the hallway so that you wake your partner up when you use it. The front desk staff were helpful and efficient. I highly recommend this hotel.

I just started working in this area, so I have only stayed here a couple of times. Overall, the Hotel is very clean & nice to walk through. The rooms are very clean as well with a 50" Big Screen HDTV. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the showerheads in the bathroom. The Showerheads are very basic with low water pressure. Most other Hotels I've stayed in have upgraded their showerheads to High efficiency adjustable ones.. Breakfast was good with Hot & Cold selections. In the lobby there is a Nice automatic Coffee & Expresso maker. There is a Ricky's Restaurant connected to the Hotel which is a great option for Lunch & Dinner. The Hotel staff are nice & friendly...

All staff was friendly and respectful. Helpful people and restaurant was good. I will stay here again. Everything is brand new and they were constantly keeping it clean especially with the winter weather.

Fantastic hotel and staff. Rooms were great for us bringing our 10 month old baby and the breakfast was good. Check in and outs were fast and the staff was very caring and supportive. The restaurant attached was great and the pool was nice.

The property is in great shape. Our room was spacious. The bed was excellent. The couch was too soft and low. I really miss not having FOX News. The WiFi worked great. The breakfast was better than average. There was a bag breakfast for those who slept in or had to leave early. Know it is about 30 minutes from this property to the east gate of Jasper National Park. The Hinton golf course is a respectable property and quite fun. Experience the one of the natural upland forest golf courses in the Boreal Region.

Staff are wonderful, the property is lovely, rooms are great. Hottub jets were not working due to delay in part showing up. But could still get in and foot jest we're working and it was lovely warm. Rooms are clean and quiet. Beds are comfy.

Hinton's a bit of a frontier/bush town. Not that there isn't money there. It's just not super sophisticated (and would likely consider that a good thing). So this hotel stands out here for its relative luxuriousness, its attention to detail and it's very helpful staff. Especially the staff. The location isn't central to the town, but it's got a nice restaurant adjacent/attached and great access to the highway into and out of town. Very quiet and clean.

The Staff at Best Western is amazing especially Ashia, the Front Desk Manager. She went above and beyond to assist us and accommodating us at the Hotel. The entire Hotel Staff is very nice and friendly. The Hotel is clean, spacious, and has all the right amenities including the walk-in restaurant Ricky's next to the Hotel which you can access via a hallway from the Hotel. Continental breakfast caters to all your needs and the dining area in particular is very organized. I loved the Nescafe machine in the Main Lobby and there is a treat for cat lovers too. A male short hair tabby that goes by the name of Miller walks over from the Bottle Depot across from the Hotel to the Hotel parking lot to say hi. The Hotel is great value for your money.

Me and my family stayed two nights,nice and clean lovely hotel .The staff was so friendly,rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, washroom was clean, breakfast was good too.My kids enjoyed the coffee from the coffee machine in the lobby. we enjoyed lot.

This property seems brand new. Everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast area is spacious and everything well stocked. Our room was very large with everything we needed. The TV had many channels and the internet worked great. I can't think of anything bad to say about this hotel. It's a very safe choice.

My family and I spent one night at Best Western Plus Hinton Inn & Suites from August 3th to 4th. The front desk staff were nice enough when we checked in. Our toilet was running nonstop, but fortunately, they sent someone to fix it up right away. They even allowed us to use the breakfast area to rest while the toilet was being fixed. Our room was clean, and our beds were comfortable as well. My only issue was with breakfast. The hotel sets up their food in a diminutive room that only allows MAX 8 occupants at once. Now, since COVID-19 rules and fire procedures are important and should be followed, this would normally be a nonissue… if it were not for the fact that the waffle machines take 3+ minutes to create waffles, generating a bottleneck that effectively creates a huge lineup for breakfast. Of course, I reported this issue to the front desk to let the hotel know that this protocol does not work. I suggested to the receptionist that they should think of a solution, to which she kindly noted it and said she will report it to her manager. Now, while everyone was getting frustrated with the line, my son also noted how much food was being hoarded by the other guests as they left the room. This breakfast procedure not only wastes everyone's time, but it also contributes to food waste as well. Since nobody wants to go through an entire roller-coaster line again for another cookie or do something equally as ridiculous, everyone simply resolves to take way more food than they will really eat. I went back to the receptionist lady to tell her about this, and she asked me whether I would like to see her supervisor or not. I told her to bring out a supervisor, thinking that she would be able to find a nice solution to both problems. That did not work out as nicely as I hoped… in fact, the supervisor was rude to me and had a horrible attitude to boot. She begins by whining about Alberta's health regulations, even if the last 5 hotels we stayed in our Alberta trip have no arbitrary restrictions such as this. She then continues on with telling us some arbitrary rule about not bringing food out of the room. I am not even asking her to break the rules nor ignoring the safety, but to think of a clever solution for a more expedited breakfast experience in the future. For example, if food can not be taken out, why not move non-food items out of the room, such as utensils, or even coffee/drink dispensers and condiments? How about designating a staff with making and distributing waffles and pancakes to guest, so that no guests have to stand in front of the machine and wait for their waffles to cook? If I can think of these solutions, then surely the supervisor can think of these and better, right? I told her this is her job to resolve the problem. Nope, She response to me “This is not my job, it's the OWNER'S job to think of the solutions.” All right then, fine, “It would be your job to bring the problem up to the owner when you have the time to do so, should not just sit there” . She even threatening to force us to pay for breakfast at the next-door diner Ricky's if your dinky little breakfast room gets shut down by the Albertan government. She said “if we shut down, you guys will have no FREE breakfast”. This supervisor ruined the impression of the hotel and laid waste to the efforts and respect of the receptionist and the guy who fixed our toilet. Her attitude was absolutely abysmal, and she ruined our experience. Her business card on the front desk had the name “Barb.” Please educate the supervisor that we paid the room rate, and that also happened to include a breakfast so that guests do not have get into a theme park attraction line or beg for free food. Please also remind her that there are so many other hotels we could have chosen from. If there was one positive aspect of our breakfast, it is the attempt at environmental friendliness with naturally compostable and recyclable wooden utensils and paper plates… granted that glassware, stainless steel utensils, and actual plates would be more environmentally friendly and reusable. Also, would food waste not be a bigger problem? How would one solve that… oh wait… HA. After leaving this BWP Hinton Inn & Suites, I had the chance to also stay at another Best Western Plus hotel at the Edmonton Airport, and I would certainly recommend that you contact their manager or their breakfast staff. Their food is in a room smaller than yours, but there was no line up. They even use glassware, stainless steel utensils, and actually make it better present. Also, their breakfast lady pushes around a trolley to serve drinks like coffee, tea or fancy hot chocolate of your choice. That experience was definitely of a high standard. It makes the guest feels like they're enjoying breakfast in a well service restaurant rather than begging for free food and threatening by the supervisor the BWP Hinton Inn & Suites had.

Our family rented 2 rooms for our vacation in Jasper National Park. The drive to Hinton is a little long but all of the accommodations in Jasper were sold out. We liked the hotel and didn't have any issues. The rooms are fairly new. Recommend if in the area.

we stayed here on our way to Banff. It was clean and the room was very nice. The hot tub was not working so that was a little disappointing as we would have like to have a soak after a long day of travel and was one of the reasons we booked there again. The location is great and easy to get to. It is quiet and clean. The breakfast was ok was a bit cold but did have a good variety of choices for everyone.

I know that July & August is peak season but this hotel needs some upkeep and improvements. We spent 3 night, paying just short of $200 per nite, and I would question the value return. The beds were very good, but everything else was old and worn out. No attention to detail (door chain was broken off, and hadn't been repaired). Just wasn't worth the price.

During the summer of 2021 We stayed often at BW Plus in Hinton as we were house shopping. The Staff were great and everything from the Breakfast Room to our room was always clean and welcoming, I accidentally gave this hotel a poor review by marking 1/5 as mistaking #1 as being the best but it showed up as a poor rating. Since I don't know how to change that I am here to apologize and let everyone know this is a Great place to stay if you are a family or not. BW Plus Hinton has great rates, Friendly Staff, good Food and Welcoming Atmosphere. I have recommended my family and friends to book here and recommend you do as well.

Need better sound insulation in the room. You can hear footsteps from people upstairs and kids running in the hallway. Hot tub jets broken and pool temperature not working. Expensive hotel with broken amenities.

Room was spacious clean with a modern look. Room had a kitchen table with stove and sink, which was a plus. Breakfast service was comparatively very good and with lots of options. Guest service was excellent

Located in Hinton about an hour from Jasper. Drive was smooth. The hotel is located right off the highway. The staff was helpful and the rooms were nice. Understandably a little expensive given the hype around Jasper in summer.

Affordable location in proximity to Jasper Park. This newer hotel was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Our room was very spacious for 4 people. The breakfast options were very good, but due to the large number of guests, it was a painfully slow process. The pool was okay, but the hot tub was not working. That was a bit disappointing. The beds were quite comfortable, but the bedding needs to be upgraded. The best thing about this hotel was the Ricky's restaurant that's attached. Great food and friendly staff! We ate supper both nights there. Great addition to the hotel!

Stayed at this location while visiting Jasper. About 75km east. Seen wildlife when driving to and from Jasper, and great landscape and many rest areas to take lots of pictures. Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our time in the park.

We had never stayed at BWP before. Booked there because it was less expensive then competition. Really happy with cleanliness, staff service and breakfast. Will definitely book BPW next time we travel.

We had rented the conference room for the entire week / all day long. On our first day of our meetings a hotel employee let a group of people conduct a yoga session in the room and we were over an hour late starting our day. Once we got into the room there had clearly been a dinner in that space recently and the tables were covered in liquid spills, crumbs, and dirty table clothes were pilled up on the floor. There was no coffee or water in the room as per previous stays. When we communicated our concerns about the room the staff was dismissive and rude. We requested coffee and water several times to no avail. The entire week we struggled in getting any sort of service level from the staff and ended the week very frustrated and disappointed.

This Best Western is a modern facility complete with indoor pool, hot tub and exercise room. However being confronted with a polite demand for a $50 damage deposit upon checking in was a surprise. The room had been booked and paid for already. I cannot remember such action since encountering it in a country hotel in China 1990. There might have been a problem with "rough characters" using the facilities, but my husband and I are certainly not in that category. There was obvious damage to the desk in our room.This hotel had the same WiFi problems as the Clearwater hotel. where no outgoing emails could be sent. Breakfast at this facility was adequate

Staff were helpful and provided extra soap and shampoo for daughters who use more "stuff". The room was cleaned above expectations, even the kitchenette, especially appreciated during/post pandemic, and the breakfast was actually kept supplied for the whole time, not cutoff or left empty 20- minutes before it ends.

Great place to stay, clean rooms, good gym. Good price for the quality. I would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again in the future whenever my work or pleasure takes me to the Hinton area.

This was my first stay at this Best Western location. Nice spot. Great front counter staff. Friendly. Professional.Very accommodating. Newer hotel. Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Buffet style breakfast. Overall an excellent property to stay at while in the Hinton area. Will definitely be my first choice next visit to the area.

I stayed with a group of 36 people and the hotel bent over backward to help us out. They gave us a great suggestion for a group meal, Gus' Pizza in Hinton, and made sure we were well looked after. Thanks for the great stay.

Stayed here a few times and it is always a great experience. Breakfast is excellent and varied, something for everybody. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very quiet rooms which makes for a great sleep.

I was staying the night on a business trip. When I checked in, I requested a wake up call to allow me time to wake up and freshen up prior to a lecture for a new client. I never received the wake up call, but instead got one from my client at 0730, asking me if I was ok and where I was. Not getting a wake up call cost me the lecture, a new client for my business and potential other clients as well.

Front desk guy was friendly and nice. He was so helpful at providing information regarding food nearby, he went above and beyond in order to make sure we had a great time. Room was also clean and comfortable to sleep in.

Enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus in Hinton, Alberta. Like the more reasonable rates when you compare it to Jasper, Alberta! The hotel was fully booked, with many construction workers staying there. Spring break for the school kids, so also families staying. A good mix.

Decided to stay in Hinton vs Jasper for our skiing trip. I'm glad we did. BW Hinton was a great choice. Stayed in a basic two Queen suite. Well appointed , clean, average size room but a specious bathroom. Both evening and morning staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hot tub had both change room and shower facilities. Large pool. Spacious and clean gym. Great breakfast offering with bag lunches when we set off early. Lots of parking and easy access points. Forthcoming with member benefits which we appreciated not having to ask. Great job team!!

Pleasant, accommodating staff. Comfortable rooms with attractive, serviceable furnishings. Excellent television. Good tasting coffee. Bathroom products very nice although it would be nice to have a little better quality paper products.

The rooms were very clean. The restaurant in the hotel (RICKY'S) was good. Two people who stood out in helpfulness and absolute kindness were Lars and Barb. I will definitely recommend this particular accommodation and will absolutely stay there again

The Best Western in Hinton has great staff, always pleasant and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Check in and out is easy and fast. The rooms with a kitchenette are great, makes it easier to be away from home.

Comfortable, Clean, Quality decor and furnishings. All the furniture was comfortable. It being a non-smoking hotel a big plus. Handy having a Ricky's restaurant attached. This is where I will definitely stay again.

Best Western is the only hotel I stay it.. Never disappoints. Exceptional. Clean, great breakfast, quiet, beds are amazing. Bathrooms spotless, beautiful towels nice n soft, couldn't ask for anything more.

This was the best stay we have ever had in BWP. The staff was excellent very engaged with their customers. The rooms were very well appointed extremely clean very quiet. We were in a room next to the elevator I anticipated noise there was none. The beds were very comfortable everything everything was worked well. Even the TV service was above and beyond what you would normally get normally get in any hotel. Do the covid there was no hot breakfast but the alternative was breakfast to go and it too was excellent. There was large variety everything was fresh And tasty. They even offered an alternative if you preferred to eat in the attached restaurant Ricky's they offered a vothey offered a voucher for a very reasonable price for breakfast. Well done Best Western Hinton

The hotel was new and nice. All the stuff was friendly. When I ask for anything thing they will provide me the details with patient. I stay here two weeks for work, the bed was comfy and the room with a mini kitchen which is very convenient.

Great stay at the Best Western Hinton ! Hotel is new and modern . Rooms are specious and clean . Comfortable beds, great shower . Good location just an hour drive from Jasper . Worth the drive,very scenic.

We stayed here one night, mid-August. The hotel is very bright, very clean. Kids enjoyed the pool area. Unfortunately, there was no brunch due to a staff shortage. However, this was not mentioned on their website and there was no price adjustment. We stayed in a double queen accessible room. The room was large and well decorated. It was very clean and comfortable and I would definitely stay here again. I found the bed a bit uncomfortable but I am probably being just picky. This hotel is on the main highway, close to Jasper and lots of restaurants. Staff were very friendly.

Best Western Hinton is amazing, love to stay here when i come thru town, Amazing staff and management team..only issue was hottub not working , but thar was local politics at play, nothing to do with hotel

We stayed in BW Hinton due to its proximity to Jasper. It was a great experience! The hotel is new, the room was so clean, the washroom smells so good and so were the pillows and bedsheets and the front desk staff were so kind and helpful ( esp the two young men who were on duty at night on Aug. 16 and 17). The hotel was an hour drive from Jasper but we didn't mind at all as the highway were full of beautiful scenery of mountains, lakes and wildlife (we saw a family of deers, white and brown mountain goats on our way). There were a number of restaurants nearby, as well as shops such as Walmart, Shoppers, Canadian Tire and Safeway). From now on, this will be my go to hotel every time I visit Jasper!

Love this hotel! Would stay here again if in the area. We got upgraded to a room with a kitchenette when we arrived. Thank you! The beds were comfortable. The breakfast offered in the morning had many options. A great place to come back to after a long day of hiking. Overall an excellent experience!

I'm an EV owner. Unfortunately there are not that many options available for us when we're headed to Jasper and the area. Turns out the hotel is a great spot to stay with your EV and discover the area.

I and my family, along with another family friend, was on a vacation. Moving to 2 other hotels during the travel. Best Western Hinton was our favorite because of its great customer service and room cleanliness. It is my first time using the online / express check in and the experience was also simple. It saved me time when I arrived at the hotel. We arrived late in the evening and tired. We were greeted nicely!

This is a very spacious and clean hotel. Staff is exceptionally and very helpful. Location is great, quick drive to Jasper. Nice big breakfast area and it was so nice to have the buffet style breakfast again.

The room was clean, well decorated and was full of comfort. Only one thing I could not like, noisy air conditioner. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion could be from branded company. But otherwise it was excellent.

Best regular hotel in Jasper area, due to the many issues with hotels in Jasper Nat. Park. Highly recommend staying at the BWP in Hinton, and taking the 1/2 hr. drive in, each day. More reasonable pricing at hotel and local restaurants, makes it worth the while.

I loved the air-conditioning and it was quiet. The bed was comfy and I loved the pillows. We were close to the main Hiway yet it was very soundproof. Great mountain views from the window. I enjoyed the hot breakfast with yummy bacon and scrambled eggs. The second morning I had the omlet...it was great as well.

We had a nice night at the Hinton BW Inn. We chose this location because of the proximity to Jasper, where we spent the day seeing the sights. Lots to see and do in Jasper, but the summer hotel rates in Jasper are far to high for seniors on a budget. Barely an hours drive each way, so it was a nice drive while enjoying the scenery .

We have never stayed in Hinton before, we are very happy we decided to break our journey here, the hotel is new and could easily have been in any major city, we did not expect such quality in a small town. Very clean, beds of course always comfortable at BWPlus, quiet and a very nice view of the Rockies from our room, will definitely stay here again

The hotel room was really clean, and obviously very new. It was really worth it staying there, especially for the price versus Jasper. I highly recommend it! The pool and hot tub was a nice bonus considering there are not a lot of pools open right now. We also ate at the restaurant there, Ricky's is the name, and the food was really good. My family had a great time!

We had a very enjoyable experience at the Best Western Plus Hinton. Check-in was very efficient and front were great. Breakfast was very well done and felt safe. The staff were constantly cleaning to ensure it stayed safe for everyone. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Hotel was nice and clean. Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was much better than other Best Western. Convenient. We did find the beds and pillows too soft to get a comfortable nights sleep and kept us awake most of the night trying to get comfortable.

As with all the Bestwestern that I've used, for me they have always Exceeded my expectations, always deliver the standard they offer. Every member of staff that I've been in contact with are always polite, knowledgeable and helpful and professional

Great hotel for price paid with a huge selection for a grab & go complimentary breakfast. Would definitely come back with the family when restrictions are lifted! The gentleman at the front desk upon checkin was thorough and extremely friendly with a positive attitude. The front desk is the first point of contact when arriving and he made our experience that much better before even going to our room!

Dec. 28 - 3:10 am Do hotels won't let you book rooms until its check in time even though theres available room? I called the best western to check for available rooms before coming in and the guy in the front desk just tell me I can't book a room not until 3pm? Not happy with the kind of service you offer.

The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean. We really enjoyed our stay! The staff did not hesitate to help me when i needed towels or anything, i was greeted every time i walked out or in the lobby. Very satisfied!

This Best Western appears brand new. Everything in our room was brand new and clean. The price was really awesome and I don't think I could find better value anywhere else in Hinton. Staff were courteous and prompt with service. For example, we needed a corkscrew and they sent one up to our room within five minutes.

We had a wonderful 2 night getaway to the mountains in the Jasper/Hinton area, The Best Western Plus in Hinton was an excellent choice for us. The price was a much better value for your money, than the more expensive rooms in Jasper. It was a scenic 1 hour drive to the Jasper townsite where we spent the day exploring. We will definitely be staying in Hinton again!!

Stayed here while exploring and hiking Jasper Park to avoid ridiculous prices of hotels within Jasper itself. If you do this, it takes roughly 45-60 mins each way back and forth to the park. Based on pricing of JPL and other Jasper Park hotels, we found this to be worth it. We also wanted something more modern as hotels in Hinton are generally very old so we opted to stay at the BW Plus. Service was fine and we were upgraded upon arrival. The room itself was large with a kitchenette and a large and clean bathroom. The beds were comfy. Breakfast wasn't great but it's Covid so there isn't much to expect. Food at the on-site restaurant (Ricky's) was okay. We'd stay here if we ever returned to Hinton or the Jasper area.

After staying in an overpriced, run down lodge in Lake Louise, what a treat it was to stay here. Friendly staff, nice big room, newer, quiet, and like other reviewers said, clean and comfortable. We stayed here and traveled back and forth to Jasper and area. Well worth it.

Excellent stay over services at BW Plus Hilton. We stayed at this place for three nights and I am pleased to share my best experience at this hotel. All well organized, well disciplined and made our stay very comfortable and of course safe.

We had a great night at this hotel, which we chose for its Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station, and reasonable price compared to nearby Jasper. We were surprised to see a full-on wedding being celebrated in the first-floor rental room in this COVID time. And we were also actually dismayed to see a long breakfast line (30-minute+ wait) - it was simply stupid to make people wait for everything in the serving area to get wiped down between every family group going through. Much better if they had provided each hotel guest with a pre-packed bag of breakfast items, as with the hotel we stayed at the following night in North Battleford.

Great hotel for the price range with new amenities and rooms. We our stay was made especially comfortable with the warm service of the staff, particularly Lars, housekeeping and the lady at the breakfast. Only downside was the long line up during breakfast due to covid precautions (thanks to a nation eating animals they shouldn't be eating) and some inconsiderate guests. Nothing negative to say about the hotel.

My family and I have travelled to Jasper and decided to stay in Hinton at Best Western. When we arrived after several hours of driving and tired, arrived in Hinton. Derrik at the front counter was quick at getting us to our room. Great service from Derrik. Great customer service. Thank you keep it up!

Stay and services is excellent. Just breakfast options needs to be improved for choices during Pandemic. Room cleanliness is excellent and sanitization is very good. Parking is also great. Hospitality is good too.

So good - the community is amazing, full of sensible people who care. Lots to do and see. Thank you Hinton! Close enough to Jasper to do a day trip and same experience there. Very nice place and we will be back!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Best Western Plus in Hinton located on Highway 16 West not far away from town. It's a new hotel, we met kids and families staying at the hotel. You can choose your breakfast in the morning, but only one person/one family at a time into the breakfast room, and because of that creating a line-up. There is a Ricky's Restaurant attached to the hotel serving breakfast until 3 pm. I would recommend Best Western Plus Hinton.

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at this beautiful, new hotel. Our room was spotless with very comfortable beds and tons of towels. All the staff was pleasant and check-in was a breeze. They had a safety protocol in place for Covid-19 but were still able to provide a delicious free breakfast with a huge selection of individually-wrapped items. Good quality, fresh coffee in the lobby 24/7.

Hotel lobby was clean, spacious which benefits social distancing and welcoming. Front desk staff were pleasant, efficient service and courteous. Other staff I met wore a smile all the time, they dressed neatly. Coffee machine was visible and coffee was great, smells fresh. There were 3 sizes of gloves you can choose from with hand sanitizer, floors were marked to keep your social distance, signage posted on elevator front allowing only passengers in same room to cohort per trip. Breakfast has lots of selection, I terribly miss their buffet. That always highlights my every BW visit. Room was clean and crispy. It was an exceptional place to have a good night sleep after a whole day of fun and long hikes in Jasper National Park. The room is perfect and sound proof! I stayed on the 4th floor. Staff always replenish supplies during breakfast, sanitized high touch areas. My stay was very remarkable, and I ask my friends to stay in this hotel if they would spend a few days in Jasper.

We arrived early and asked about checking in ahead of the preferred time. The staff were awesome. We were able to unload before entering Jasper. What a treat. The hotel is only 1 year old and is in great shape. Covid did dampen the night slightly: we could swim or have hot breakfast. But with Ricky's attached for good food, all was well. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed a one night stay at the Best Western in Hinton. Our check-in was smooth and the room comfy with good beds. The Ricky's restaurant on site was not open but there were plenty of dining options further down the highway towards Jasper. We ate at Boston Pizza and were impressed with their safety precautions as we were with the Best Western's. Breakfast at the hotel was handled very well with brown bags provided to fill up with chosen items and take back to your room. The toaster was available for use and we chose to eat our breakfast in the dining area as the hotel was not very busy. The pool was open and families were enjoying it although we did not use it ourselves. Best Western provides good value for money if you don't want to pay the high rates right in Jasper and it's a reasonably short drive to the Park gates. Recommended.

Stayed one night at this hotel and everything was top notch. Near new hotel , everything was very clean. Received a complimentary upgrade to a very nice room with kitchenette. Very comfortable bed and a quiet room.Contrary to some recent reviews about management the staff was all very helpful. Breakfast was all cold items but under the circumstances re Covid was adequate. Would definitely stay again.

This new Hotel was spotless with fabulous staff and amenities. A great place to stay! The bed was super comfortable and the TV was large and high quality. The bathroom was very fancy with a great shower.

Excellent facilities and friendly professional staff. Well located with easy parking. Breakfast options were very good given the current pandemic situation. They are well set up to accommodate guests safely.

A very cheerful place to stay that is clean and safe. Covid is horrible but this facility made it the best possible place to stay for a bit of a mountain getaway! Because we had an unexpected trip to take after our stay in Hinton, we used the laundry rooms which was very helpful.

On Friday, June 12 my family and I checked in around 9pm. While the check-in agent was processing the check-in, we started conversing. I asked him how is day was going; if it was a busy day today for him, whether the hotel was busy (as it was the first day of reopening after the lockdowns and restrictions); how was the occupany for the hotel (given that it was one of the newer properties around) etc. As I was conversing with the front desk agent, a man in his pyjamas and t-shirt stormed out from the GM's office. With his arms crossed and clienchéd fists he approached the front desk and confronted me in an aggressive and condensing tone saying “You are asking too many questions!” His remarks immediately created a very tense situation to the point that even the front desk agent felt threatened and intimated and stepped back from his computer and desk as well as left me and my family in a state of shock! It created a very unpleasant and unwelcoming feeling for all my family. I simply responded back by saying that “All is good!” When he stormed out of his office, a lady in the GM's office tried to stop him from going out to the front desk. This was witnessed by my family members. Later in the evening, after settling into our rooms, I inquired with the front desk about this individual. The front desk agent stated that he was Derek Mann, the GM of the property. Given that this was our first visit to Best Western Hinton, Mr Mann came across as a very rude, disrespectful, condensing and intimating person. He not only failed to introduce himself but failed to engage and interact with his customers to find out if there was any problem or concern. More so, he failed to assess the situation and use sound judgement before passing any remarks. In essence, he simply failed to demonstrate basic customer service and hospitality skills! Assuming this was a Best Western Auditor, Mr Mann would have definitely failed the check-in audit for this property. In the hospitality world, there is no room for arrogance and disrespect. Mr Mann not only showed disrespect towards the lady in his office, his staff, his customers but he also showed disrespect towards the Best Western brand. He failed on all fronts! A GM of a hotel is a brand ambassador who is a versatile, dynamic and a customer-focused individual. Mr Mann, by far did not possess any such qualities. Despite the fact that he has spent a few years working for Best Western, he was not able to apply his guest services experience in this case. To the owner or operator of this property, I find it rather distributing and disappointing that you felt Mr Mann would be a good fit for a GM role. In all fairness, I'm not convinced that Mr Mann was ready for the GM role. Through his behaviour, actions, mannerism and attire, he proved to be an inexperienced and immature individual. In my 20+ years of hospitality experience, I have never witnessed a manager or a staff member of a property addressing his customers in pyjamas and t-shirt! Mr. Mann truly showed no regard for the Best Western brand, image, standards and reputation. It was a poor display of professionalism! There is no doubt in my mind that you have spent millions to build a nice property and indeed it is a nice property but it does not match with Mr Mann's personality and caliber. Mr. Mann did spoil our weekend plans and this is something that we cannot forget or forgive! You simply don't have the right driver in the driver's seat!

Had 2 rooms for one night stay with our family. Brand new hotel, breakfast area was understaffed and the staff there tried there best to keep up. No restaurant on site at time of visit. One was under construction, one needs to drive if looking for a place to eat.

Very nice hotel and a great price. I stay in many hotels all over AB and BC and this is by far the best one for the price. The beds are better then home and the hot breakfast is a larger selection then most hotels.

This is definitely the place to stay if you are need a hotel in Hinton, Alberta. It was like new inside and very clean. I was there during the covid pandemic in April 2020 and the hotel did an exceptional job of providing sanitizer, gloves of different sizes and take away food provided in a safe way. I really appreciate the front desk person and everyone at the hotel for providing a safe, clean place to stay.

The hotel was just a couple months open when we were here. Friendly staff and also professional. The room was big with a sofa and king bed. The modern design big bath room was clean. Breakfast is a bit more than other hotels during our trip, there was warm food. After so many days from one hotels to others, finally I got the best desk to work with my laptop, in this hotel. A good bed is very important during our trip and here I could sleep very well

This is a classic textbook example of a hotel with "good hardware but bad software". That is, everything in the hotel is very nice including nice decor comfortable beds and well designed interior. However when it comes to cleanliness and service, and it's just not there. The check-in process was slow as there was no one at the counter and the front desk person was not friendly even though she showed up to the counter late. She seemed annoyed at all the questions I asked. I didn't even feel welcome as a Best Western Diamond member. There was also no free upgrade was offered when the hotel parking lot didn't seem busy. When we got to the room, we noticed it was very dirty but did not ask for another room as the person basically said there are no other rooms available up on check in. We first noticed the kitchen counter, kitchen island, kitchen cabinet and fridge were all dirty. Then we noticed all the complimentary toiletry were half empty with makeup and finger prints on them. Finally, we noticed toilet paper were not folded. When we bought this up with the front desk reception, she did not seem to be concerned nor said anything reassuring that the room was clean. There are many hotel choices in Hinton and we will think twice before coming to this one next time.

This hotel is quite new, it the time of my stay the Ricky's Restaurant was not yet open, although it appears to be close. The hotel was not very busy at the time of my stay but everything was clean and the breakfast bar was well stocked. My room was well kept and laid out (King Room) with a large TV, couch, and desk. The room doors seem more sealed than most hotels but this sometimes poses more of an issue as most of the heat came from the in room heater which dries out the air quite a bit, and air flow in the hallway caused a howling sound around the door. I would absolutely stay here again.

rooms were clean and quiet, The Bar fridge was a nice touch as I am a diabetic and had to keep my spare Insulin in the fridge, food was good, staff was helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent service, great staff. Rooms and amenities in tip top shape; clean, cozy and quiet. Hinton is a nice small town next to the world famous Jasper. At Best Western you will get quality service t the fraction of the price you would pay in Jasper. I highly recommend it. Hinton is a great place for outdoor activities as well, such as skiing, hiking, fishing and camping.

Front desk lady was miserable and kept telling us how she was working totally by herself. Our room had major heating issues. Room was freezing, bathroom cold, floor was cold and the heater kept kicking off. We came with a hockey team and were told that quiet hours was at 9pm. On Saturday evening front desk called us and told us that quiet hours was moved to 730 pm because the man in the room below us works in the morning. We had notified staff that we needed an extra bed because we were coming with a family of 6. We had a family room and we were told to be quiet? We have two toddlers, how is that a reasonable thing to ask?

From check in to check out the staff was highly attentive and friendly. Rooms were spotless and ready on time. I would and will return to this property. The only downside is the hotel is a bit away from restaurants, but on the plus side there is a Rickys being built in the same parking lot of the hotel... next time.

We looked for an alternative to staying in Jasper. This is the ticket! Clean, modern and spacious rooms. Great staff. Free breakfast! No e of this do you get in Banff for under 120$ Or under 500$ in fact!

Wonderful new hotel and the foothills of the Ricky mountains. Staff were amazing and very friendly. Rooms were beautiful as was the view from our room. Breakfast had lots of variety and was delicious.

Always enjoy staying at the Best Western, the rooms are clean, hotel is quiet and the beds are comfortable.. the breakfast is hot and I always look forward to coming back again the next time I am in town..

Very nice room, Clean. Very Good Water pressure.. Breakfast was Hot and Fresh. Friendly Staff The Hotel was well taken care of, it snowed that night, and parking lot was plowed. Would easily stay there again when im in the area. Only 45 minutes from Jasper as well, and it would Alot cheaper.

Brand new hotel, with nice new facilities. Rooms are spacious. Gym is limited but you can do a nice basic workout. Pool and hot tub area is nice. Free breakfast isn't gourmet but its FREE! so enjoy a free Belgium Waffle.

After 9 hours travelling we arrived in darkness at Hinton we were greeted by friendly staff. The Hotel was easy to find. Check in was easy as was checking out. as we didn't have a credit card they were obliging in taking a cash bond unlike the other Best Westerns in Canada. Definitely recommend staying here rooms very clean and the beds were comfortable

The hotel looked brand new. Would like to see a better breakfast selection and the breakfast quality. It would be nice if they had real eggs and sausage. When you stay for a long period of time the breakfast gets really old fast. The pillow selection was much better then the previous time I stayed at best western. Overall the stay was very good

Excellent facility located only an hour from Jasper. This was my second stay at this hotel this year and, as before, I found the staff to be professional and courteous in their approach. I look forward to my next stay at this hotel.

Beautiful new hotel under a year old. It was just a perfect stop for an overnight stay. Checking in was smooth after a long drive and the hotel is very new and beautiful. We got a room on the top floor facing amazing snow capped mountains. The room was very clean and the bed so comfortable that we didn't even go out use the pool. We had a great sleep and enjoyed our breakfast the next morning before heading home. I will definitely stay here again next time so I can enjoy the pool. Beautiful property, highly recommended.

If you plan a trip to Jasper or just passing by to recoup from a long drive, this is the hotel you will need to relax and feel like being home. The hotel is brand new it comes with full size fridge, microwave and 50 inch tv. We booked 2 queen beds and it comes with extra sofabed. Super large room and good size bathroom for the price we paid compare to other hotels around the area. Will definitely only staying in this hotel if we are in the jasper area.

This is an excellent Best Western Plus Hotel - Less than a year old (I was told 7 months) and reflects the rising standard of the chain. Located in a small town, it also offered great value and convenience. The staff was excellent. It was very quiet and had very comfortable bedding. Everything worked as it should including the tv, wifi, etc.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is brand new and very nice. Lobby decor is beautiful! There is a gym that I didn't use, but looked great. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub and they were wonderful. The room was new, clean and beautiful. The bed was super comfy. The breakfast was very good and they offered a variety of hot and cold foods. They breakfast area was much like a lounge with 3 televisions. We have stayed at many hotels within the last 6 months and I would have to say this was the nicest with the best price. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Wowza!This hotel just opened up 7 months ago. It still smells brand new.The lobby is big, open and airy. Staff is friendly and proud of their new hotel. Elevators are spacious and fast. Our room was large . Had a microwave, 2 burners and small fridge with a freezer compartment in the kitchen area. It was stocked with all your dishes. Table and chairs, even a hideabed. Consistent with the BW Plus chain they have a great free breakfast with hot items like eggs , bacon or sausage and make your own waffles.The area is kept spotless.BTW the utensils are bamboo so they have have made a move away from plastic. Quartz counters in the kitchen and bathroom add a really nice touch to the dark wood decor. The convience of staying in Hinton with access to cheaper gas compared to Jasper is huge. Besides all the elk and other wild animals were between Jasper and Hinton for your photo ops.

Hotel was recently built, restaurant and landscaping were still being finalized, parking lot was spacious and well lit, lobby was open, modern and welcoming, staff friendly, rooms were very comfortable and tastefully decorated, we started our day with a very nice full warm breakfast.

Nice hotel but gross breakfast, it's really gross eating off wooden cutlery too. I felt like it was slop the hogs Sunday as they ran out of everything. The sausage looked and tasted like something for or from my dog. The beds were comfortable but you couldn't pull the sheets high enough to cover the top half of your body without untucking the bed at the bottom. We got an accessible room which had a nice a new feeling, but there was a tub instead of a walk-in shower, what's with that?? We found a stray peanut beside the bed and droplets of blood on the wallpaper in the bathroom by the garage can. Other then that the place was clean and so were the sheets. They have nice night table lamps with a USB charger and plugins for CPAP. The room was also very spacious which was nice.

We where four people and stayed in a room with one king bed and a sleeping couch. When we entered the room we saw the couch was not ready and we asked at the front desk if someone could make it ready. The answer from the lady was: it is not her problem (she was annoyed and not really friendly) and they (the hotel) don't make the couch to a bed the guests has to do that by themselves. we were really disappointed by that but had to do it by ourselves. After we did the bed we found out we had not enough pillows and had to ask for another pillow. The one from us who sleep on the couch said it was very very uncomfortable and the mattress had been through. And for the breakfast They use disposable cutlery which is not really nice for the environment and you have no other possibility. A lot of unnecessary trash. Also the disposable cutlery gave the breakfast a cheap atmosphere. We changed hotel after one night and from now on we say it is not a Best Western PLUS it is more a Best Western MINUS

Wound up in Hinton when we couldn't find any hotel rooms within Jasper, and staying in other people's homes just isn't my thing. It is a bit of a long schlep between Hinton and Jasper, but it's a very scenic drive. This hotel is less than a year old, so everything in my rather spacious room was new and fresh--and at a very affordable rate. The staff was friendly. Breakfast is complimentary and they don't skimp on that either. My only quibble, and it's a minor one, is that seating fills up very quickly in the breakfast room when the hotel is full.

The room is very clean. Also very spacious. Nice large windows with a view. Lots of lighting. Good elevator service. Room was quiet. And the breakfast has large selection to choose from. King size bed very comfortable. Fresh towels each day.

Room was crystal clean. We had a 2 queen bed suite with full kitchen. We had dishes, cups, pans and basic cutlery to cook food and also had a nice dishwasher too. Thank you to BW hotels & resorts to have our journey turn out to be relaxing.

Stayed here for a night with my daughter while we were on a mini vacation. This hotel is very clean and it is noticeable everywhere. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was very spacious. We slept in and skipped the breakfast in favor of hitting the road, but it looked and smelled very good. The service from both employees we spoke with was excellent. Very professional and very friendly. The only downside I noticed was the pool. It is in a very sterile and plain room, with no slide, decor, or atmosphere. My daughter had been looking forward to swimming, but when she saw the pool she was disappointed and uninterested. Obviously this is not a big deal, and I would be more than happy to stay here again.

On our drive from Edmonton to Jasper we stayed for two nights at this hotel and we couldn't have made a better choice. The staff was friendly, attentive and yet very professional. The room was large and the beds were extremely comfortable. The Breakfast area was small that was the only hitch.. But the breakfast was a great spread. Our two nights stay was comfortable and peaceful. The hotel location is great too. Comfortable value for money stay

Ok.....the hotel is brand new and very, very nice. It is wonderful to sleep in a new facility with brand new clean carpets, bathrooms, etc. It has a pool but we didn't check it out, nor use it. The front desk staff were not very friendly and in fact, every time we walked in, they did not ever say hello or welcome us back. Overall, we rated this hotel a 3 because the INCLUDED BREAKFAST WAS A COMPLETE DISASTER!!! Honestly - the WORST set up we have ever seen. The actual food area was so small that it didn't take much to get overcrowded. And.....as we sat at the window, we witnessed people driving in and coming to eat the free breakfast. We were very sure that they WERE NOT guests of the hotel. It would explain the amount of people trying to access the breakfast area - absolutely crazy!!! Upon our check out, my husband told the gentleman at the front desk about our breakfast experience and what we saw but he didn't seem too concerned. We left disappointed and chose to stop at Tim Horton's for our breakfast.....way less hassle. So, stay for the new facility but don't count on the breakfast unless your prepared to eat very early to avoid the MASSIVE crowds.

Best Western Plus Hinton is highly recommended to business and leisure travelers in this area great location, good service and awesome parking well lit. The breakfast room is tastefully done, service is great and plenty of food.

I stayed here while traveling through from Vancouver to Edmonton. The room has a great layout and was exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. The kitchenette was nice to have for the fridge and microwave. The breakfast is very good.

I stayed here with my 3 sons (11,12,15) while visiting my other son in Jasper. All hotels were booked in Jasper so we had to stay in Hinton. I was very impressed with the hotel right from the get go. The lobby was spacious and modern and clean. The front desk staff were great, breeze of a check in. The room was amazing. They gave us a large room with 2 beds and a pull out couch and it had a kitchenette. A nice kitchenette too. Full fridge, counter top burner, sink, dishes, coffee pot. Loved that. SOO much. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Check out was just as easy and pleasant. The pool was very tiny but good enough! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Hinton, Ab as we wished to visit Jasper and surrounding area. We arrived and found a beautiful hotel easily accessible from the highway. Check in was a breeze and the front desk staff was very helpful and informative. We were assigned a room on the fourth floor and we found our accommodations spotless and ready for our stay. I really liked the size of the room, it had so much space with two queen beds and the bathroom was equally as spacious. I liked the combination of carpet in the bed area and the vinyl plank hardwood in the bathroom/hallway. The beds that Best Western provided were the best beds I have ever slept on, so comfy and soft and they were a welcome treat after a full day on the road hiking and driving in the mountains. The hotel was at capacity and I didn't find it very noisy or congested. Breakfast was ample and freshly made with plenty of choices, it does get very busy here but patience is key as well there was ample seating provided. The lady who helps run the breakfast area deserves a pat on the back as she kept the place clean and well stocked. We made use of the fridge in our room but did not use the microwave. The large tv provided an abundance of channels and the picture was crisp. Checking out was equally as easy after our stay was over. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this place to others, you couldn't go wrong!!

We decided to stay at this hotel as a base and explore Miette Hot Springs and Jasper SkyTram over the course of 2 days. Since this hotel only opened 6 months ago everything is new and fresh. Our room had a kitchenette and sofa bed in addition to the two queen beds. It has two large flat screen TV's and breakfast was included which was a plus.

New affordable hotel with great amenities located an hour plus away from Jasper allowing easy access to park. In house resturant still to open and food options are somewhat limited close to the hotel being situated on the far end of town. Free parking. Management very friendly and having laundry facilities helped us out a lot.

This is a new BW hotel, and it is lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff, and lovely décor in room. Excellent bath with walk in shower. Three good restaurants very close to hotel. In five nights on the road - our best stay, and very good value.

Stayed for a night on a trip through West central Alberta. Nice property, well appointed. Breakfast room largest I've ever seem with a great selection. Only negative comment is the the water pressure/flow is low in the showers.

Nicer than the average Best Western (maybe because it is a "Plus"?...not sure what that sub-chain is). Spacious room. Ours had a Full size fridge, and a small area with key kitchen items. Overall it felt more luxurious than what I expected. Great for a family stay.

Hotel was very nice. It looked new or newly renovated. I was traveling with family and baby, and crib was not available. Toiletries were additional charge (qtips). Overall it was a good experience. Staff was nice. Room was good. (Kitchette with queen size beds). Hot tub (fitness centre) was not working, but didnt get fixed by the time we checked out.

The hotel its self was very nice and modern room was very nice there was a couples of hairs in the shower and on the blankets but nothing other then that. The breakfast was horrible as it was very busy and there was no where to sit, you could barley get around without hitting someone. I definitely recommend if they are charging so much a night have a nicer and higher quality breakfast. I was not too happy as a pair of my pants I wore the first night went missing and i did not return home with them. Even if they were not taken they could have nice enough hospitality to let people know if they forgot something especially something expensive. Likely to stay again but when it's less busy and not as expensive per night.

During my research to travel to Jasper National Park, I realized that you needed to either stay in Hinton or Travel to BC as there isn't really any accommodations near the Park. We made a good choice with this hotel, it's been redesigned and updated. The staff were good to deal. The breakfast was decent and the kids enjoyed the pool. We had an issue with our fridge and the staff compensated us for the inconvenience which was awesome customer service. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

the room was excellent , the beds very comfy ,the bathroom was very clean , the breakfast was very good . Great location to visit Jasper and surrounding areas . A very good hotel that I would recommend for everyone

This is a nice new hotel, but they advertise that there is a Ricky's Grill restaurant attached, we are on a motorcycle so i'm always looking for this convenience. We checked into our room, but discovered that when we went for dinner, the restaurant isn't even open yet, not even close to being open, so i wish they'd advertised that the attached restaurant was opening soon or something as this was definitely one of the big reasons i booked this hotel. Breakfast in the morning was out of coffee, the apple juice was basically water, there were no muffins or fruit left and we manged to grab the last 2 yogurt. I wouldn't blame the staff for this though as it would be hard to keep up with all of the Jasper tourists who are eating like it's their last meal - wow! Pretty sure those people don't eat breakfasts like that at home. The hotel room was good which it should be as it's brand new.

It was a fantastic Hotel. Would recommend for everyone. The place was clean and bright. The beds were very comfortable. The pool area was great. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was very good for it being included in the price. Was a great place to stay and be closer to Jasper. I give place 5 stars all-around.

We spent one night here and upon arrival to my room 406 someone ( i'm assuming the housekeeper ) used the bathroom and did not flush . The rest of the room seemed cleaned but this was a definite turn off . I went down to front desk and told the girl who told me she'd make a note of it. When I checked out today I did not want to mention this in front of my son as he would have been disgusted . This needs more attention for sure.

Accidentally booked for the wrong day and tried to cancel within 24 hrs and was told I still had to pay and then they rented the room out to someone else. Double dippers. Wont refund if you cant make it with plenty of notice and will rent out the room you paid for to someone else. Double bang for their buck.

Spacious room size, breakfast option was good, but it seemed the staff(s) weren't prepared to handle hordes of guests trying to eat breakfast at the same time. It has a very nice lobby and dining room interior. Beverly, checked us in, very friendly local and gave us tips for the area. Room cleanliness can be improved, we found someone's personal item on the floor behind a curtain and was never removed during our 4 night stays until I mentioned it to the front desk during check out time. Our full size fridge in the room was not working properly and they fixed it fast. The location is one hour drive away from Jasper downtown.

Our room was very clean and well appointed. roomy bathroom. good black-out drapes. Fast wifi. Pillows were so thick that hard to sleep on without a sore neck. Breakfast was good but only offers tiny wooden flatware that made eating difficult.

This BW just opened in March so everything is new and clean. We had a large 2 queen bedroom with a full fridge and a kitchenette. Comfy beds and pillows. 2 flat sreen (maybe 55") TVs. 4 adults and 1 kid but the room didnt feel cramped. Great location, right in middle of everything, grocery stores and restaurants. Staff at the check in counter very friendly and welcoming always smiling and helpful hope they can continue the great service!:)

This hotel has one of the most friendliest staffs we have ever been to. They all smile and say Hi, and wish you a good day.if you book Expedia expect to get screwed The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was there for a conference. Lunch in the lounge was awesome. This is a newer hotel in Hinton. The restaurant is slated for opening late summer 2019. We enjoyed the stay, very clean, comfortable spacious suites sleep 6, good room layout, breakfast buffet...great for a family.

Unfortunately we had reserved at the Days Inn in Hinton for a 1 night stay. When we arrived at the Days Inn they did not have the correct reservation. The lady at the front desk was rude and did not offer to help us find an appropriate room. We then went next door to the best western plus where Barb was most helpful. The Best Western Plus did not have a room to accommodate 5 people but Barb spent 20 minutes calling other hotels in Hinton to eventually find us a hotel room for the evening at the Hinton Lodge. We were graciously welcomed by the staff at Hinton Lodge. We were very grateful for Barb excellent customer service at the Best Western Plus in Hinton. She went beyond expectations to make sure that we were taken care of even if we could not stay there.

I used Best Western many times.This is the first time I encountered such a worst , unlawful event. I got reservation confirmation two weeks before the arrival. They informed me they made a quotation mistake few days before my arrival . And asked me to pay 110 CADs extra. I asked my agent to negotiate with them. Then this hotel supplier cancelled my reservation without my consent two days before my arrival .And they provided the queen room to the other guest. How can they do this , and made me so hectic to find an accommodation

Brand new, nice hotel on the edge of Jasper National Park, Good alternative when everything is full in Jasper, or if you do not want to stay there. Easy to find, nice and friendly staff. Go and visit the local beaver boarwalk!

This is one new excellent Best Western Plus Hotel. It was spacious throughout with a large breakfast area. Again with BWs the interior decore was very tasteful. The room was spotless. This place is a must stay!

Very nice hotel, stay here for work 4 nights a week. Super friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. Beds are comfy. Location is great for us because of where we work, a little out of town which is nice and quiet. Definitely recommend for the long term stays and the short term traveller.

Great stay with a very good (basic) fitness center, could use a few more attachments for the weight system. Duvets and bedding very high end and comfy. Internet was fast and reliable I had no issues watching Netflix.

We planned to stay in Hinton during our Jasper trip because it's near to Miette Hot Springs (about 1 hour drive) and most importantly they offered a good price for the stay ( as compared to the stay Jasper). I enjoy the hot pool and gym. I like most the self made waffer for my breakfast

It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. Clean modern facilities combined with a professional courteous staff made it a very pleasant experience. This hotel is a great alternative to the (mostly) run down places in Jasper. I plan to stay at this hotel in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the delicious breakfast. There was coffee and tea in the lobby 24 hours and that was a nice touch.

Stayed one night only, 2 queens & sofabed room. Hotel is very clean & quiet. Parking lot offers free parking & is well lit with surveillance cameras. Check in staff was very friendly. Free breakfast was very good. It changes daily I was told. There was bacon, hash browns, egg omelettes, waffles, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, breads, pastries, bagels & muffins. 3 kinds of juice & ample coffee. Would definitely recommend staying here.

An easy to locate with ample parking hotel with restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was very clean considering the rain and mud outside. The main floor has a large area with lots of seating for relaxing or working at. Free coffee/tea 24hrs. Modern hotel and very nice rooms.

Had to stay in Hinton for extended period of time for work and the best western plus made my stay very comfortable. Amazing staff and a beautiful hotel. In all I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Def a place to be proud of

The BW in Hinton is a wonderful place to stay. A brand new facility. We stayed in a spacious and beautiful clean room and experienced a courteous and professional staff. Breakfast was very good. I would recommend this BW to everyone.

Hotel lobby, elevator and room, pool/hot tub and fitness area were very clean and staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast has a great selection of food, the hot food was actually hot! I will be staying here again

Stayed here while my boyfriend was working in the area. It was a great hotel, still has that brand new smell. The hot tub was great, beds are very very comfortable and the rooms are big. The breakfast wasn't much to write home about but they have a fancy coffee machine in the lobby.

I stay every two weeks at a Best Western so you know My favorite one is Fort Saskatchewan. I left Hinton this morning. It's a new hotel. The knob fell off the shower the mirror full length in hall was splattered with something maids did not clean . The food was gross quality and selection not what I m use to. Fort Saskatchewan is three years old this hotel in Hinton only few months. I have also stayed a week ago in fort Saint John noticed some of the same things. It's also a new hotel few Months old. The kitchen area and food are not the same size smaller . Smaller selection they use gross liquid eggs not real ones only three hot food selections not 6 or more like Fort Saskatchewan. The juice was what my friend mentioned to me this morning said it was bad he had oj he also never gripes about anyone so means he hated it I had cranberry. He was right tastes like chemicals. The lady who was working in there told us she drank it every day. She must not have taste buds what we felt like was not believed what did she think we were lieing?. I also told front desk the difference between The other Best Westerns told them about the dirty mirror and knobs falling off in shower . In fort Saskatchewan it's real juice concentrate. In Hinton she opened the machine the oj was bitter and dark in color I read the ingredients full of glucose fructose and things artificial. They should have food meats that don't have msg glucose fructose for people who have intolerance to them it's makes my family sick and myself ill. Our guts were sick hour after eating the food. Also add some Gluton free bread others not just my family have issues with that. So you know Fort Saskatchewan has fresh eggs real bacon sausage not patties they have mini omelettes peroiges kolbasa carrot cake cheese cake portage and soups to pour already made also boiled eggs waffles ceral pastries etc. Larger buffet breakfast area . So that's why I mentioned this cause I noticed a different with the two new hotels I stayed at in last two weeks. Seems I found a lack of a bathtub garbage cans recycle bins in rooms food selection and taste and quailty were lacking In Fort Saint John and Hinton . Room cleaning issues in Hinton location only.

Nice new hotel, great rate and nice large rooms with really comfortable beds. Friendly check in and check out process. The include breakfast was good, with decent selection. Would be nice to see real plates and cutlery as the paper plates and plastic cutlery sure do create a lot of waste. We will definitely stay here again when traveling through.

Nice new best western plus. Clean with friendly service. Made use of the pool, hot tub and fitness center. Fitness center is well equipped with weights, treadmill, bike and elliptical. Breakfasts were fresh and hot with a nice variety.

Hotel accommodation we great are hockey team had a good time and where treated great zero complaints. Staff was friendly rooms were clean amenities were excellent. Let's us use the meeting rooms for group gatherings since no one else was using them.

wonderful, newly renovated hotel. Great service, clean and spacious. Amazing breakfast bar. We came in late with a wrong date for a different hotel, they accommodated us with a room. Very pleased with everything. Right off the main highway, very easy to find.

A wonderful new hotel with spacious rooms and very nicely done. Great location on the east side of Hinton. Very comfortable bed with large TV. Pillows are wonderful. Definitely stay here again A free hot breakfast is also included.
