SureStay Plus by Best Western Fayetteville

The best thing about this place were the front desk clerks, very pleasant after that it was all downhill. Stayed in a pet friendly room, filthy filthy, smelled horrible of urine, nasty dirty like it was hardly cleaned. Woke up the next morning to get out of there to my husband and I having a few bug bites! Stay away.

We always stay here on our trips up and/or down I-95 and it always comes through. Never a problem. The best value out of probably 10 other different hotels at this exit. Clean, great bed, warm and toasty in Winter and cool in Summer. HOT water and great pressure. Bojangles right next door and a Subway a minute away. Quiet, convenient, safe and a great breakfast. You just can't beat it. A+!

Not the most stellar visit. The hair dryer did not work. We reported it to the front desk, but were told he had to wait for someone to cover the front desk for him to check the hair dryer. It was easier to get my own from the car. The hot/cold dial in the shower kept going around & around making it difficult to get the right temperature, and there was only one tiny body/hair shampoo for both of us. Glad I brought my own.

Non smoking room smelled so strong of smoke so had to move. If someone actually cleaned the rooms that would have been addressed. New room still had faint smell. Ac/heat unit was off do it took a long time to circulate the air. Black mold on bathroom ceiling in shower. Too late to try to find another hotel. Will not return to this location.

Called Best Western attempting to make reservation for I95 Exit 95 location. We were referred to The exit 49 location. Due to a bad connection, I did not hear the "Sure Stay Plus", only heard Best Western. Upon arrival, the room had a musty odor, the sheets were discolored (were once white now yellowish), beds were not made properly and bedsheets appeared wrinkled, the coffee pot was dirty, a couple of expired roaches in bathroom. We used our bedsheets and pillows on the bed, put them in a plastic garbage bag and washed them immediately upon arrival home. Had we not been as exhausted as we were, we would have left immediately.

Upon entering the room I found a condom floating in the toilet. Food under the bed. Toothpaste splatters on the sink counter & faucet. Crude stuck to the phone. Belligerent management not apologetic, insensitive idiot! I've lost faith in Best Western as my recent experiences went from bad to worse.

This hotel was not what I've come to expect from Best Western. The room had a musty odor and the AC was broken. We intended to sleep for 6 hours and get back on the road home and didn't notice the AC until we were already ready for bed. Disappointing bc I trust Best Western hotels to be clean and accomodating. Lower prices usually mean the hotel has not been renovated which is fine by me for a one night stay, but I expect the room to be clean, odor free and a place to take a shower.

Worst place ever. Non smoking room stunk of cigarettes. They changed us to another room and it was the same. Filthy bathroom and sheets. Mold in bathroom, holes in sheets, broken door lock, couldn't use pillows for fear of catching something. After 10 hour drive from Florida needed some rest. Manager incredibly rude when we complained.

my stay at sure was plesant the pool was great the breakfast was fine the staff was very friendly . the maitance came as soon as we called to fix the plumbing issue. we had a bottom floor with great access to the office breakfast room the pool.

Rooms need to be upgraded. It smelled moldy and mildewy, everything felt damp. Bring your open toiletries, as I ONLY had 1 bar of soap & shampoo. The towels are VERY thin, hard/crunchy feeling, and small. I used both to dry off. The ice machine outside my door did NOT work. Breakfast was bearable. Only one waffle maker (several people had to wait to make one), and choices for cereal, fresh fruit, and options were limited. The coffee was STRONG and NOT hot enough. Link sausage was cut up into toddler-size pieces, eggs were made into small tiny omelets. The orange juice was strong & tasted like it came from a can too! I will not stay here again.

During our recent stay at the Sure Stay Plus by Best Western, I found the experience to be overall satisfactory, although it was closer to a Best Western in terms of cleanliness and room amenities. The cleanliness of the hotel was acceptable but not exceptional. The comforter had visible stains and the pillows were not completely clean. The tub was also a little slimy and needed some rust repair. On the positive side, the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating with pets, but overall the experience and value was closer to a regular Best Western rather than a Plus. There are better options for the price point a few exits up and down I95.

Do not book/reserve your room at this hotel, the worst hotel ever! Smell terrible, dirty, not satisfied with the hotel at all. This is the worst hotel of all Best Western hotels that I've stayed at. Keep driving and find a better Best Western.

Horrible, filthy, and worst hotel stay ever. Cleanliness of the hotel is an issue. Even the kids felt unsafe and dirty. Won't stay at this brand ever again. They gave us a new room but it was just as run down and filthy as the first. Needs a ton of work.

The room reeked of cigarettes, but was billed as a non-smoking room. When we asked for a new room we were given the last room available. It also reeked of cigarette smoke. The soap was the size of a communion wafer and there was only one little bottle of shampoo, no conditioner or lotion.

After driving 9.5 hrs from Fl. To NC, we wanted to eat something and get some sleep. Awoke at 5am to get an early start on my way to NJ. Went to take a shower and NO HOT WATER, went to front desk and clerk said he didn't know, and manager was not in. Couldn't wait around for manager, so I checked out and went on my way. Clerk gave me the managers card, so I called him the next day, he claimed there was hot water and said we should have waited for maintenance to fix the problem. I had to be on the road for another 8 hrs so I couldn't wait. He was belligerent and said I should have waited, and then hung up on me.

Right upon opening the door, the room smelled a bit -not sure if musty or what. The sink counter may have been redone but all the pipes are exposed underneath. The shower control was broken and a maintenance person had to come fix. They have weird reduced size bed pillows. Wall paint had many patched areas. The lo looked practically empty but we somehow wound up with a room directly across from the stairs and ice machine so that's the view from the picture window. Only staying one night so not worth changing rooms.there's a sign on lobby about the breakfast which is included. It says the buffet options are limited and you have to eat it there. If you bring to the room “there may be charges”.

No water in the bathroom, shower has broken, nasty comforters, comforters had stains, no ice…ice machines were broken, had to go to another room to take a shower, wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone

You get what you pay for, cheap rates and good location but so many stains and dirtiness. Rooms did not seem clean. Sheets, bedding and towels were stained and seemed old. We switched rooms due to the dirty but the second room was not much better

Booked this hotel on our drive to Florida in Nov,2022 The Hotel is convenient located near the I95, Gas stations and many restaurants. The hotel is a bit old and in need of repair. The room was ok and clean. After a night sleep we went down to the lobby for breakfast which was quite limited. As a Best Western member I was NOT greeted accordingly and don't feel this Sure Stay hotel represents Best Western Band very well.

I feel so at home here. I get to sleep and relax. It makes me feel like I am at home. I always have a great time when I come to stay all the time. The relaxing time I have during the stay is amazing. I will always come back.

The front desk associates were rude and not very concerned with guest satisfaction. I changed hotels because of this reason. Never again will I stay here. They have no idea how to retain guests. Or how to treat guests.

The accessibility of the bathroom was good but the bed was way to high for the average wheelchair user. There would have been no way for me to get on the bed if I was traveling alone. They need lower beds for accessible rooms

Had a great stay with my black lab. Room was clean, desk hostess was polite, not a picky eater but loved the fresh breakfast, biscuits and gravy. Would and will stay again. Beds were comfy. Bathroom was clean and fresh.

I have stayed here in the past and no complaints. Last night the room smelled like smoke and the bed comforter was dirty in a few spots! Makes me not want to stay here in the future. Very disappointed. Oh yes, and the soap had a horrible smell not like the last time I stayed. I felt very uncomfortable!! Not happy at all!!

I was just traveling south and needed a place to stay for the night. The sheets were clean. The TV and Fridge was in good working order. I slept well and in the morning there was breakfast. The selection was kind of skimpy and they had one working waffle maker so that you had to wait in line. There was only sausages and biscuit with gravy in the hot breakfast bar. There was a pool but I did not use it.

We arrived after a 12 hour road trip. The room given to us smelled like old smoke and was damp. We contacted the front desk to let them know so that they wouldn't end up blaming us for it. I didn't even get an offer to move to another room! We were exhausted and didn't care to fight this and we'd become noise blind to the smell. The rug felt slight damp as well. I didn't realize how much it smelled until the next day when I pulled my laundry out and it reeked of smoke.

Room was outdated and old. The sheets had stains in them and the hotel room smelled strongly of mold. Other guest were load and disruptive at 2AM. The bathroom was not very clean either with hair on the floor.

I'll definitely be staying here anytime I travel back to Fayetteville. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. Price was affordable. The bathroom even had a granite shower... Starbucks just around the corner and several other food options nearby.

The beginning of the trip was very good doing my stay was okay after they took the money out of my account the charge was still on my account and they said that it would drop off in 7 to 10 business days in the meantime I was charged on overdraft fee because it did not come off but they took my money I was not happy

We were grateful to find a hotel that was cat friendly and it was only going to be a quick stay. The room was mildewy, the linens were stained, the carpet was damp from humidity and the AC unit was loud. The worst part was that one of the beds had a huge rip in the box spring fabric and the cats were able to climb in. We had to get our cats out and then block the rip.

This hotel needs an overhaul. Rude staff except for breakfast lady. She was sweet. Beds are horrible and room doesn't have that nice fresh smell. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Was a road trip stop over. If we wasn't so tired from driving 12 hours we would have left same night

PLEASE BE AWARE !!! DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst experience in my life. Me and my two daughters are between homes and have to live in a hotel at this time. I reserved online and checked in with a lady and explained my situation. She was very empathetic helped me out and even said don't worry about it your gonna be ok!! I explained I worked about 10 mins away and my kids and I will be staying for a few weeks until our new home was ready. I explained that I would be paying weekly as well. At the time of my check in I paid with card and cash. Everything was fine and the staff seemed pretty nice especially the housekeeping Ms. Nikki. The over all cleanliness of the room was very poor and smelled very bad. I ended up buying my own cleaning supplies and disinfectants to clean the room. When the day came for me to renew the week the owner named Tony called me while I was at work to remind me of payment due, first he tried to say I didn't pay for the previous night . I explained I did pay with cash . He tried to say he didn't see the cash payment and questioned me about who and when I checked in. I was confused at this point because I would think that would be all in the computer with my check-in information. He then said he would call me back while he figures it out. A couple of hours go by and he calls me back and explains the rate for the night. I then said that's fine I only have cash and will have to put money on my card to pay and I need to extend or if he could at least wait until I got off at 330pm and I will be in to pay and extend. He quickly said no to waiting until I got off and threaten to call the police if I did not make the payment before 1pm. My kids and belongings are in the room at this time and we have no where to go thinking I was stable until our home was ready. I ended up having to leave my job in the middle of my work to go and pick up my kids and find another hotel room. When I got to the hotel and tried to talk to The owner Tony, he was rude and unethical no empathy and treated me and my kids like we where criminals. I would never stay at another best western hotel ever again. Worst expirence of our lives after spending the money we did for a nasty stinky room with a Owner like that! This may have been a blessing in disguise because I ended up finding a room at the Ramada bigger way cleaner and Way cheaper!! after I explains my situation to Ramada they gave me discounted rate ! SO THANK YOU MR. TONY! Because of your nasty hotel and attitude we actually received a blessing! This place stinks !!

Stay was excellent. The room needs some work but some things are updated and some aren't. So it seems like it is a work in progress. The breakfast was the best I have had and we have stayed in a ton of hotels lately. Best variety and the staff was sweet as pie and did an excellent job! I was very impressed & the price was great too! I will for sure be looking to stay at other SureStays in the future!

Stay away!! Gross spend more money for a better nights sleep. Rooms smell bad. Very musty and basement like. Old and dingy looking as well. So much we requested to move rooms after they declined to refund my payment almost immediately after entering the room. Which also has stains all over the mattress. Should have mattresses protectors under the sheets but nope. Little blood dots all over. Possibly from bug bites? Just an overall bad vibe from this place. They should have done the right thing and refunded me. Horrible practice IMO. Desk guy said no refunds after 15 minutes we were probably only in there 8 minutes tops. Save you hard earned cash and go next door.

Just left the Surestay in Fayetteville. Had 2 rooms for 1 night and that was too long. Called ahead to ask if they had 2 non-smoking rooms side by side and was told they did. Made reservation online then called to confirm that they still had the rooms- I am traveling with my kids and wanted them close. Arrived at 12.20am checked in after an 11 hour drive and was given room 229 and 231. Opened the door to 231 and knew immediately that this is NOT a non smoking room. It reeked of pot in this room and that with the air conditioning turned off the room was stifling and disgusting. There was an actual spider web in the door jam also. I went to 229 and it did not smell like pot or smoke- it was just unbearably warm from the A/C not running. Went back to 231 and sucked it up because either I had to deal with it or we were leaving and it had been such a long day and we were all so tired and after lugging all the luggage up to the 2nd floor we just wanted to sleep. Unfortunately I didn't not read the reviews prior to booking because I had been on the road so long and was tired and really- because I trusted the Best Western brand. In room 231 the coverlets on the beds were dirty with stains- the blankets had holes in them- and the bed made an awful noise when you sat down on it or when you turned over at night. In 229 the batteries in the smoke detector are going out and it beeped all night. I can't believe I paid for such a miserable night. It would not take a whole lot to have made this stay better but I feel like the employees just don't put the effort into thinking things through. I am a platinum beat western rewards member and this was the last thing I expected from BW. Truly disappointing night.

SureStay is the best hotel in Fayetteville. There is a nice breakfast buffet, very friendly and helpful staff and the pool has lights in the evening. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. It's a great value and my favorite hotel in Fayetteville, NC.

Room was disgusting, dirty, light bulbs out, AC with rat droppings inside vent. Witnessed numerous people outside and going in and out of rooms smoking pot and drinking. Even saw drug transactions in the rear parking lot.

The room was clean and adequate. The bathtub did not have a stopper so could not take a bath. The full breakfast was limited. Watery coffee, no cereal, hot dishes disappointing- could not eat them. Nice area to walk a dog but there were no doggy disposal bags in the dispenser. When I reported these problems to the front desk I did not get the impression it would be taken care of. No apology given.

The room was clean. The beds had extra pillows as we asked. Which was nice We thought there would be breakfast. Um, not really. Everyone was waiting on something. No fruit. No meat. The eggs were dry and not edible. If you want bread for toast they have that.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. great breakfast. Very quiet stay. My only gripe was the mattress -- I hope you like a firm mattress, it was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. Other than that I would easily recommend this place for a stay. There is a Bojangles restaurant in the same parking lot and I consider that a HUGE plus.

Very basic motel with basic bed. Woke up with headache and coughing. Can only figure it was The old air conditioning unit. Once outside symptoms went away, the bathroom doors were filthy. The room needed a better cleaning.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at for three nights. Nothing worked and a lot of broken items that made it impossible to use. The breakfast was not friendly to anyone with food allergies. The bathtub was stained and not something I would want to use.

Do not come here! Traveled from NJ to FL and needed a place to rest tired eyes. Didn't plan to stay long just about 6 hrs enough for a decent sleep. Did travel with a pup so worried about pet friendly places. Saw they accepted pets so we jumped at the chance. 140ish for 3 people, 2 queen beds plus 15 for dog fee. When we walked into the room we were greeted with a lovely scent (not) and our dog went crazy sniffing everything which told us there was a lot going on in this room. The sheets were stained and the bedspread had a burn on it. The bed itself was not very comfortable but we weren't being picky with that as we just needed room to spread out, lay flat to sleep. The next morning we wanted to refresh to continue on but… no hot water!

Incredibly loud and incredibly dirty. Staff was nice however. Made a last-minute decision to stay here, the room smelled horrible, covered in tons of air freshener. The floors were so sticky that your shoes made a very loud noise walking across them. The toilet was covered in something sticky. The rooms are very old and not updated. We traveled with two dogs and ended up right next to the ice machine and in an adjoining room. The people next-door were very loud and it sounded like they were in our room. I will say the nighttime lighting is very good. And for a dog friendly property it wasn't covered in dog poop which was nice. Front desk was very nice, but I do hold against her that she put us in that room. I would never ever go back.

Best Western should be ashamed to have this hotel in it's chain. The flashing sign outside the hotel, advertised, Newly Renovated. NOT. Both the queen beds were sagging on one corner at the top, the bath tub had a large paint spill in it which was never cleaned up from the ceiling being painted. The cloths rack was hanging off the wall and could not be used. There was a large light bulb in the ceiling light, that was broken and hanging from one thin wire, and it had been that way, a long time. There was a CO2 detector unplugged and laying on the floor next to a broken or burnt out receptacle it was suppose to be plugged into. I booked this hotel as a one night stop, and had another couple with my wife and I. I was ashamed to have them stay with us. If we weren't beat from an 11 hour drive, we would have gone somewhere else. Best Western needs to remove its name from this hotel ASAP, and stop advertising it as a Best Western Hotel. Run fast and save yourself.

What a bargain. I got a King bed little suite for $70! The rooms are a bit outdated, but the bed was comfy and the five pillows were a nice treat. The room also nice an quiet. Breakfast was ok, although they had no cereal. They did have eggs, bagels and OJ, so that was sufficient.

This is a very clean and affordable motel. Staff was nice. Room had many power and USB outlets, which is unusual and helpful. Staff was friendly. Would definitely stay there again. Located adjacent to I95 in Fayetteville, NC.

Rooms were disgustingly dirty and smelled of smoke. Extremely noisy. Breakfast not open when scheduled. Shower lacked a plastic curtain. Bed coverings stained. NOT a nice place to stay. Staff couldn't even smile upon arrival.

Bed sizes were advertised as Queen Beds. They were double at best. Sign stating if you take food to your room from breakfast you would be charged. With COVID precautions, it is not appropriate to crowd people together.The hotel turned out to be the same property that we stated at several years ago under a different name and the decor was Exactly the same. As a Hotel under the Best Western name, we were Extremely Disappointing.

Nicely updated and pleasant stay, the building itself is old and the only upgrades that still need attention are the ceilings. In the bathroom. Beds were comfortable and clean. For what we needed it for, it was fine!

On our way south, we chose SureStay Fayetteville because it was a Best Western. This hotel was horrible. The room was dirty, the bedcoverings had unknown gross stains, the room smelled like smoke, the floor was sticky. It was late and we crashed. Net morning went for the meager breakfast. Then asked for some ice. All ice machines were broken. Bottom line, DON'T GO HERE.

The god part is. Room was very clean. I liked the layout of the room. Good size. Now for the bad. Torn shower curtain in several spots. All maintenance of the room was poor. Everything was never finished. Towel bar fixed from being torn down and holes and wall were never patched.Same as repairs to ceiling. Patched but not finished.

My husband and I stopped for one night. People were freaking me out with previous reviews. The room had been remodeled, it was nice, comfortable, and an excellent rate. I felt safe at this location. I will stay again on my way back though.

We were traveling with two cats so our hotel options were limited. I was surprised that the "pet friendly" room was carpeted, but there were no bad smells and the room was comfortable enough. we were only there to sleep. The rate of $15 per pet was a bit steep, but understandable.

First, I will say it was a very good price. However, the shower curtain was tattered, the room was a little musty, HVAC was very noisy, and they never cleaned the room. Didn't say they wouldn't just never came around.

Stopped enroute to home. Rooms on 2nd floor have stair access which is not totally convenient. Breakfast was open but limited hot foods. Value was great for price. Room was clean and quiet. Double size beds

Good value , I have stayed at several hotels, most " considered" better on Cedar Creek Rd. Clean , fair breakfast and internet was fine. NO problems and staff changed room when I ended up traveling alone and I was fine either. way.

My wife and I travel I-95 extensively all year, for several years already, between MA and FL, and have stayed at dozens of hotels en route. We had booked a room ahead of time via Hotels.com. Exhausted, we checked in at around 11 PM. It was Saturday night 7/31/2021. Our room clearly had the scent of smoke even though it was supposedly a nonsmoking entity. We were too tired to protest, and sat down to discuss the situation. When I sat on the bed I felt great pain by my ankle and looked to see it gashed and bleeding from a metal bar sticking out four inches from the frame. When I stopped the bleeding, I decided to take a shower and found there was no hot, or even warm, water. We called the front desk and were told we could just cancel without any cost, as she did not have another room. We were going to venture further on our journey even though it was now past midnight. When we got to the front desk the attendant now told us we couldn't get a refund, as we booked with Hotels.com, and that there were no more rooms for a switch. She didn't even address my cut ankle; the protruding steel bar did not faze her. This attendant was totally unhelpful and cold and unknowledgeable. While my wife and I sat on a couch that was dirty with rips and many worn areas, someone came in and asked this attendant if there were any rooms and for what price. Unbelievably, the attendant said she had a room and for the same price we had paid! We just gave up and stayed the night. Terrible place, inferior service, an attendant who clearly was out of her league, and a place from which to stay clear. Stay away.

I was very disappointed with the room was service at this location. I specifically requested a nonsmoking room. However the moment I opened the door it was cl the room had been used by a smoker. I immediately reported it and was informed that they had no other rooms. If called corporate and was assured the GM would reach out to me. That was on Saturday the 17th and I have yet to receive a call.

Our first experience with a best western and it was very disappointing. It was not up to standard for a a rate of $122. The experience left me not wanting to stay at a beat western again. I expected more from their brand.

So, they saved me from a big mistake. I made a reservation online (non-refundable) and I mistakenly scheduled it for the wrong day. They were able to change it for me and saved me from the extra cost. We just needed a stop-over on our trip from Alabama to Virginia. The owner checked us in and was very friendly.

Horrible condition. Bed sheets with stains on them. Noisy A/C unit. Disgustingly poor condition on bathroom and sink. Noisy place with people smoking their weed out front. Not recommended! There is a Bo Jangles next door and that rates about as low as this motel. If I recall there is a Double-Tree on the other side of this Sure Stay so for the extra cost, I would suggest that is a good place to crash.

We stayed for two nights while visiting family. At first, we weren't sure about it going to be quiet as we were located near the pool area. But, we had the best nights' sleep those two days! And the hot breakfast in the morning was amazing! My husband rated it high on his list. Our only regret was that because the beds were so comfortable, we overslept the second morning and missed breakfast. My husband was so disappointed! We will definitely keep this hotel on our list for future visits!

So compared to other hotels in the area it's not bad. The room was as expected for the price although there was an odor when we arrived and food left in the fridge. Our shower was broke and we were up well past midnight the first night waiting for a repair (and had to be up for an event early the next morning) so that was a negative they did a temp fix and then did offer us a new room the next morning but the beds were too small and due to timing we were not able to change rooms. They did get the shower working by time we got back to the room that evening that was a plus. It wasn't a great stay but not a horrible one either.

I thought for the price this is a great -place to stay. We get to Fayetteville NC about 1 or 2 times a year. This is our go to place to stay. The breakfast was very good and the worker in the breakfast area was one of the best I have ever seen.

Our stay was not good. I traveled with my husband, two kids (11 and 13), and our dog, because they're a dog friendly place. Let me say first off that the girl behind the desk was friendly, efficient, and professional, which was great as we got in late and were all tired. But then we went to the room- 152. The room. Dear Lord. Upon opening the door, we were hit with a horrible smell- like pet urine, cigarette smoke, and mildew all mixed together. I got the impression that housekeeping had cleaned, as none of the visible surfaces seemed unclean, but the room generally felt grimy. I thought about going back to the desk but I didn't, and I should have- but I was exhausted and it was late and we had been driving all day. And we still had to eat- so while we were out, I grabbed some Febreze and Lysol and air fresheners. I sprayed the beds, and we Febreezed the carpets and curtains. I think it used to be a smoking room turned nonsmoking, but without removing the carpet. I think maybe the carpet had been cleaned at some point during the transition to "non-smoking", but as a non-smoker who has asthma, I can *always* detect stale cigarette smoke. The smell was so strong, even after our attempts at improvement, that my daughter and I rested with our masks on all night. I did not sleep well at all, which is why I say "rested"; the beds and sheets appeared clean and I had sprayed them, but in the process of doing that, I noticed the mattress covers- which were stained and disgusting. I am 100% positive at least one of those stains was old blood- and maybe the cover was washed, but at that point, it just needed to be tossed and replaced. It was gross, so I didn't sleep under the covers and slept fully clothed. In the morning, when my husband attempted to take a shower, the shower handle came off in his hand- so none of us got a shower and we had another day of travel ahead. It was so disappointing- Easily the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in, and this with me almost being killed by a collapsing bathroom ceiling at a hotel in NJ some years ago. That room flooded and the ceiling collapsed and cracked the toilet tank in half, just as I was going to sit down- and this room was still worse. Location was ok- a little sketchy, but as long as you don't venture out alone at night it's fine. It was quiet, but then it's bordered by an old cemetery, so it probably should be, lol. As I said, I didn't go back to the desk and I should have, because I was literally feeling sick all night and my daughter was, too- our asthma is pretty sensitive. The woman who checked us out was also professional and efficient. But as a place to stay? Never, ever again.

Being this hotel was has best western as a parent company we expected a lot more of it. Hotel was more of a trashy looking motel than hotel when compared with the nice new hotel next door . It smelled like marijuana and there were stains on the walls and floors in our room . Just felt plain dirty honestly like prostitution probably goes on there frequently , it was that type of place . Don't stay there

We travel with a small dog which limits our options. Check in was great. Not immaculate, but not dirty. Beds were comfortable. Pillows not so much. Plenty of outlets. Exterior very well lit. This was both good and bad. The curtain in our room needs to be replaced or repaired. Dogs in adjoining rooms barked all night. Had to place the floor lamp, waste basket and a pair of shoes to keep light out of the room. Breakfast was excellent. Many options. Breakfast attendant was very attentive. Very clean also.

Checked in. Room was horrible. Looked and felt dirty! Didn't want to sit down. Felt like roaches would crawl out at any minute. Asked to be moved. Second room was cleaner but a lot of unsavory traffic around our room at all hours of the day and night. Felt so unsafe I couldn't sleep and we had booked for 5 nights so had to deal with it. Hoping our vehicle would be ok and no one outside would start shooting through doors as they were definitely drug dealings going on at all hours of the day and night. Never again!

Ouch. Was not told it was a Sure Stay. The Hilton next door told me where to go. Poor signage. In the middle of a lowest bidder renovation of a very old run down motel. In a year it might be ready. All appliances work. Hot water was hot. Sign near buffet stated that taking food to room will incur additional charges. Potential is there. Not ready for prime time yet.

Sweet 16 for my granddaughter & a few friends. We had a big group which included adults as well as children. We had lots of luggage and food to get out the 2 rooms when it was check out time & the cleaning crew was PATIENT with us. They didn't rush us, so that gave us a chance to secure all of our belongings.

I stayed two nights in this hotel, rooms are clean staff is friendly and the beds are very comfortable. I loved to be able to park right in front of the room I stayed at because I traveled with to big dogs and I can walk them without walking trough the hotel lobby. Location is very good. I been in fancy hotels and all hotels have there occasionally problems with loud guests It was pretty quiet for most time. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice dog friendly hotel on Rt 95. Very clean with new furniture and comfy bed. Very reasonably price for a quick over nite stay.. Ruby Tuesday right across the street along with many other choices for fast food

Hands down the worst room I've ever stayed in. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was very friendly but the room was awful, smelled terrible and was dirty. My window was cracked and the dead bolt was missing. It was also extremely loud.

no hot water out of the sink i was told that the rooms were sanitized with a machine, yet there was dust all over not very clean at all the couple in the next room decided to have a fight over FB starting at 1am, and did not end until the front desk visited 2xs, the room was not as pictured on the website

Ive stayed at this motel many times as it is the approximate halfway area between NYC and South Florida. Always had a pleasant stay. Never a problem. Located immediately off I-95. Several restaurants and gas stations in the area. Makes it easy to sleep, eat and fill up before I continue my journey in either direction.

I spend a night and I was impressed: they had the best service and the best breakfast you can expect during COVID-19. Everything was very clean and the stuff very professional. I will definetly stay here again!

Awful stay. Dirty room. Urine in toilet. Feral cats. No masks in the middle of covid!! Woman at front desk not a happy camper. Did not feel safe at this hotel. Many seedy characters around. Not pleasant

Housekeeping barely clean the rooms and we needed towels and wash cloths in which we was they would be back and never came back. We was also put in same room twice and my kids toys was still under the bed with trash they half clean the floors and rooms.

Rooms need updating. Toilet bowl water had black mold on the surface which required several flushings. Apparently the room had not been occupied in a while. Glass table tops in room had a visible film on them probably from the same bucket and cleaning rag that was used in several rooms. Good thing I always travel with my own sanitary cloths.

The employees were precautious to clean after each curtomer at the breakfast kitchen. They were helpful and answered all our questions. The WiFi connection was fast enugh for us to watch streaming of TV news stations from Canada

The first room they sent us to had a couch I would expect to see on the curb in May when the college students have left their rental apartments. Second room enough better for us to stay but also no 'Plus" features in evidence. Breakfast was bland & uninspired. Leave a bad taste in my mouth for the Best Western brand.

We've generally been pleased with our experiences at Best Western's, however this motel did not meet our expectations. The mirror and dressers were dusty; there was toothpaste in the sink, and a cracker behind the bed. The toilet seat was broken, and only one thin blanket was provided.

We chose this hotel for the looks and its affiliation with Best Western. The room was clean and spacious, staff was very courteous. Many restaurants in the area to choose from. We had a very relaxing sleep after driving all day.

We spent one night here on the way to Hilton Head SC. It was cheap , the room was clean. But, the neighbors were loud, sounded like kids crying all night on one side and then they left early 3am making a lot of noise. The neighbors on the other side were a few men standing outside drinking beer and smoking. I was not comfortable here. For breakfast you had to go outside to get to the inside breakfast area. It was a cold morning.

Booked a room impromptu at the Fayetteville, NC location. Friendliness does not make up for hair on the pillows, filthy glass counter tops, fabric headboards, large gap between the door and jam, 2 sections of collapsing ceiling with gaping holes, paint dripped and running from lousy paint job. JUST AWFUL, we were embarrassed to have taken our kids there for a stay over from a long road trip. Don't stay here, I hope my photos post so you can see for yourselves. Only good thing believe it or not was the breakfast bar but we were the first to arrive, can't go wrong with a yogurt in a place like that!

Not what you would expect from Best Western. Was uncomfortable with the accommodations and the environment. This is one property I will never stay at again until it is totally remodeled. Based on our room, everything needs to be replaced including the door frame.

It was my birthday and mom gifted me and my hubby a night of quiet from our 3 kids and it was just that. The bed was nice, my hubby was able to play his game and I was just able to enjoy the peace..didn't quite make the breakfast, but this hotel is nice. They did some painting and renovating and it looks amazing..❤

We stopped for 1 night on way to Florida.It was convient to intersate with lots of choices for food near by.. Staff were very friendly and accomodating.. Breakfast is included and had some amazing choices and was very good. Price for the night was very resonable and the room was very clean.

We travel between N. J. and Florida twice a year. This is at the approximate half way point, very easy to get to, it's right off ft. 95. Been stopping here for years, even when it was under different ownership

Couple of small glitches-Damn neighbor was a chain smoker and stood by my door smoking, then threw the buttts on the ground. My A/C was pulling smoke into my room. I asked him tro please move away from the building and drop his butts in the butt can down by ice machine. He did until he went back out to smoke another one thirty minutes later.Could not get hot water, and complained about that, checked in the evening and still no hot water. Desk Managere came to room and we l.earned the spigots were reversed. Hot water came after hjandles werew put in correct position.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in. When we arrived the leaf blower was going at full tilt. It remained at full tilt for over an hour. The maintenance person blew dirt and debris from the 2nd floor balcony onto cars and trucks parked below. The room had a musty smell, and the carpet poorly maintained. The heating/air unit couldn't regulate a consistent temperature in the room. There were baseboards missing, holes in the furniture, cracks in the grouting in the bathroom. The toilet didn't work properly. The rooms were decorated garishly as was the bathroom. I met a bug in the bathroom. The night time lighting was glaring and overdone. One questions why such a need for overdone lighting. There were dead plants in the landscaping.Sure Stay by Best Western was attempting to transform a very old property into a current, acceptable place to stay, this attempt has failed terribly.

To all travelers don't let the low price of this MOTEL trick you. This place is a dump. The rooms have stink bugs, some parts of the room have no working electricity, the AC cannot support the room, the tub is backed up and the furniture is dirty and raggedy. To cancel they charge the room rate, so we had to stay. It was the worst I ever experienced. Stay away. Don't say you were not warned.The only help is a loan to tear it down and restart.

Stsyed on Friday got room they were working on...got moved to another room..was fine..desk staff good. Breakfast attending wonderful. Now came back the following Friday Got same room.. STILL being worked on...got moved to another room needs a little work..but no king bed... refrigerator smaller no ware to put frozen items....really not happy. Called main office...said get someone In. Here. Maintenance is dropping the ball.

I realize we paid under $80.00 for the room but, We had a room that looked like they just hired someone off the street to remodel it, the toilet hardly worked.. Old furniture in room, scratched. The only positive thing I can say is the staff was very nice.

I stayed at this hotel because was advertised as Best Western plus Hotel I assumed clean place like best western in Laval-Canda unfortunatley nothing close to Best Western in Canada

Not good the carpet felt dirty and the room smell was bad. They tried to update the room but it still looks cheap and dirty. In the positive way they had a lot of plugs so we all could charge are phones.

Spilled sticky substance in the refrigerator what you could tell has been there for a while due to housekeeping failing to clean it out. Feces clearly seen on bathroom wall and toilet paper holder and all over the windows. We requested non-smoking and there was a strong odor of cigarette in the room clearlysomeone smokes and they're good for which that I could have probably dealt with but not the feces. Went up to the front desk to request another room and they denied it to me so my family and I checked out minutes after we checked in. As I was checking out the staff was yelling and cursing at each other in the lobby

There were a lot of shady things happening at this hotel. Broken down cars that probably haven't moved in a while with busted out windows taped up. The walls had gashes in them. We were swapped rooms 3x the first was because the AC wasn't working, the second the lights wouldn't turn on, and then the one we actually stayed in there were people in and out of the room above and beside us all night. The room to the right of ours was a hoarders room and from the looks of it they had been there a while. Staff was in and out of that room and there was also a cleaning cart in it. Overall we did not feel safe at all and will never stay at another sure stay again.

They allowed pets so that is why we stayed. Room was non smoking but smelled terribly like smoke. Found out it was from other rooms through the bathroom. Carpet was gross kept shoes on all the time. And a little noise to deal with. You definitely get what you pay for.

I had no idea this was a motel.it was dirty smelled my tub had a ring of diirt around it.. I called the front desk to have it cleaned and the girl said she was the only one on duty and could not clean it I went and bought my own cleaning supplies to clean ..I later found out the dirty ring around the tub was because the water wouldn't go down..I had water past my ankles by the end of my shower.. staff was unhelpful not in a rude way but they just didn't have the training in customer service. Never ever ever stay here. I booked thru booking.com so I could not get a refund . My family made the best out of this dirty situation but I will never stay at a surestay again

For breakfast there were pancakes and waffles, yoghurt, toast, waffles, mini muffins, scrambled eggs and bacon, scones, coffee and juice. Very good price for the room $54.92 through booking.com. We ate dinner at nearby Ruby Tuesday. Excellent meals

Friendly staff, easy check in and check out, we did not feel unsafe during the 12 days we stayed here, whenever we needed any extra toiletries they were happy to accommodate us. I-95 is convenient as well as places to eat and get gas.

I had informed reservations that we would be arriving late, 10:30pm. Upon arrival the glass doors were locked. The woman from the front desk walked past the door and disappeared then past the door again to the front desk. Another woman at the front desk also apparently did not hear me banging on the door and never raised her head. After several minutes more of banging the same woman who walked past me twice did something behind the desk that made the glass doors open so I went in. She apologized saying she did not see me. Apparently she nor the other woman can't hear either!! I finally get checked in and my husband and I park around back and start carrying things into the room. On the way we had to maneuver around piles of dog poop on the walkway in the dark!!! Finally get into the room and discovered that the AC doesn't work right and makes a loud thumping noise everytime the fans stops running. We were so tired though I didn't complain. I should have but my husband didn't want to change rooms. It is always difficult when traveling with pets to grab all your stuff and move after you get them settled because they want to sniff everything. My dog is no different. The sheets were dirty with black hair all over them so we got our travel blankets from the car and put those down on the bed and covered the pillows with shirts just to get thru the night. Everything in the room was worn and beaten. The carpet was torn and pieced. It was like being in a cave. Just absolutely horribly dirty!! In the morning we went to take showers and found that the tub didn't work so the water got all backed up. We packed the car and my husband wanted to go have breakfast. I went with him but both of us found we just couldn't eat food in a place this filthy!! This is a pet friendly motel. If it's pet friendly it should have poop bag stations and trash receptacles for the poop bags. I suspect because they had no stations and not even regular trash cans in the vicinity of grassy areas people didn't pick up after their pets. They really need to at least add some trash cans. I found one but it was the only one I could find and it was overflowing with garbage. "YUCK", my one word description of this place!!

Great location...right off of the highway.. only a few minutes from downtown. Hot breakfast..PANCAKES! Room was not clean. Stuff everywhere and burned linens. We requested more and they were burned as well. WIFI was fast, no code. Pool was nice...up to 6ft deep.

Dirty bed linen. I am recommending this hotel if you want work cleaning lady during your vacation. I changed a bed linen myself. The blanket and cover were dirty too. I didn't received the clean blanket.

Run! Hotel should be condemned. The room was dirty, smelled horrible, light fixtures we're broken and switches didn't work. Cockroaches were everywhere! Staff laughed it off when we told them the issues. They offered another room and we declined and decided to keep driving through the night.

Filthy room. Had dirty socks in room. Friends had a dirty diaper in theirs. Dead bugs on floor. Was awakened at 2:30 due to screaming and fighting in rooms above us. This continued until 5:30. Police were not called until the people fighting wanted to continue there fight in the lobby.

Room was nasty, even for the price. Broken items, loud noise outside and holes in the bedspread and sofa. Spend a little more and get some piece of mind about your health. I would not recommend and won't stay again.

Room had lingering odor and site was not as pictured. Updates were very sloppy and staff wasn't very personable. Staff was seen smoking while cleaning "non-smoking" rooms and air fresheners that were placed in the air system looked to be urinal cakes you see in the men's bathrooms. Would not recommend this hotel even if the price looks appealing. You get what you paid for and Best Western shouldn't back these types of properties.

Cleanliness was absolutely disgusting, and had “no syrup” with breakfast, never seen a hotel run out before... I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, and more than likely will not be returning. As it being a best western owned, I expected a lot better all around.

we are local persons that are experiencing well problems at our residence in Cedar Creek. Due to the length of repair and cost, we have had few opportunities to shower - and therefore have determined that we could stay overnight at Surestay Hotel to take advantage of these amenities. Our visits have been pleasant and restful - as well as having a great shower and rest!

Bath tub had horrible film all around inside, whirl pool jets not working. Room not as clean as showing on website. Okay if all you want to do is sleep in some what comfortable bed. Very disappointed even at great price. We'll see what breakfast offers in morning.

Staff are professional, efficient and helpful. Clean, flooring needs update and maintenance. Comfortable bed. Good hot breakfast. Some noise coming from the bathroom fan when turned on. Even coming the next occupied room. Woke us up when they turned on their bathroom fan.

My fiancé and I drove 4 1/2 hrs here for his grandmothers funeral and stayed for the first time at the surestay .when reviewing my bank act I noticed I was charged 3 times for one night so I went to the front desk and asked the owner politely about the charges I was told he “didn't care , take it up with my bank ,you don't know how this works ,and I'm not here for your entertainment “ and if I didn't like it we could get the f out !” He basically bucked or threatened if you will my fiancé the owner calls the police so I call police I'm hours from home here for a funeral getting kicked out at 9 am because I questioned the owner about him charging me triple the price ridiculous!!!!! Then he starts to record us . Just so unprofessional something must be done about this business. He also told me he didn't need my money . I'm a consumer and this is outright fraud and should be illegal thank God I had enough money set aside to get another room because we would have been sleeping and getting ready for a funeral in our car because the owner had all my money tied up hundreds!!!!

bed was very nice,pillows should be replaced. shower was OK.breakfast was very nice. help was always available in the B room. the place was clean inside and out. AC worked great during a humid night..Red book coupons are accepted.Pool not filled.

My Husband and I drove up from Florida to visit family and attend an Army commissioning ceremony as well as a College graduation. We found this hotel on booking.com. It seemed like it would be a good pick since it was right off the interstate, included hot and cold breakfast, and was 37 minutes from our destination. We arrived thirty minutes till midnight since we had a seven hour drive up to the area. They put us in a king room that was for handicap. Furniture was outdated especially the bed. When you sat on it, it bounced like a trampoline. The bathroom was over sized for handicap access however the bathroom was dirty. Floor had dead bugs piled up in the corners. Dead bugs floating in the toilet. One of the towels hanging in the bathroom had something stiff dried up on it. There was only two towels in the room which is odd usually there is four in any hotel. It was so late we decided just to go to sleep instead of trying to change rooms. In the morning me being five foot nothing tried using the toilet and my feet could not touch the ground and my feet were left dangling over the floor like i was a toddler(at least a foot). Breakfast was okay, had your usual continental breakfast along with yogurt, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy. We checked out after breakfast and stayed at another hotel the next night. I won't be back but if your in the area with family and on a budget this hotel might be or might not be right for you!

The hotel is located in close proximity to the highway. The breakfast was decent, it had a combination of hot and cold options. The bed was comfortable and there were lots of pillows available. The walls are a bit thin (can hear the next room), and the WiFi was spotty at times. Overall would stay again, was a good value as my previous place was cancelled last minute.

After being refused an early check in at the Best Western Smithfield Inn and cancelling my reservation there, I tried the SureStay Inn in Fayetteville. They were happy to let me check in immediately. Not quite as nice a hotel, but more than adequate for my needs, and the service was excellent. Exterior doors, but the room was clean, as was the lobby and grounds, and it was half the cost of Smithfield. I will bypass the Smithfield Inn on my future trips in favor of SureStay Fayetteville.

We drove up from NY for a family reunion. There was no place to sit and just have a good time we had to hangout on the balcony, Breakfast was over by 9:30 AM no coffee after the room was shabby looking, not enough Towels and the sink would clog when you brushed your teeth.

My first time staying there, I had no problems..just their internet was not working. But overall it was a lot of activity there..but I had no problems. The location was not that far from the mall so ok.

I stayed one night and I definitely wouldn't stay longer. The room is in need of a major update. The carpet was shredding around the walls, the bed was uncomfortable and the room was filthy. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all.

Bed is very comfortable. Room is spacious and clean . Breakfast is very tasty and coffee is awesome. Very nice to stay and value for money . Amenities are very excellent and staff is costumers friendly.

Breakfast great, but room outlets did not work, called 5x and never got help. Bought extension cord to plug into the 1 outlet that did work.was told maintenance was coming never showed up even waited.

I hate to give bad reviews but this place needs to be fully renovated. We were in a pet friendly room in the back, #142. The grout in the bathroom floors had a lot of black spots...looked like mold. The room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The rugs are dingy and all the corners of the room have dirt in them. The tub has black marks. We stay at Best Western on a regular basis and this is not one! The staff is good.

Blankets had cigarette holes. Thought it was just one of the double beds but the other blanket had cigarette holes too. Wish I took a picture, but just wanted to go to sleep and get out of there ASAP.

To be honest, we booked this hotel because of the price: $53/night with a king bed. It had the other two items we look for: a decent breakfast and Internet access (wifi). We were not sorry we selected this. They even had a complimentary newspaper, and the orange juice tasted fine.

Hotel was unclean, room was not fumigated, bugs were found.Front desk staff gave my NS room away and it was a smoking room. If it wasn't the last room available and very late, would never have stayed there. Sink knobs were broken. Well below par of other BW I have stayed at

The service at 2am was cheerful and helpful. The hotel lobby was nice and clean. Bed comfy. Fancy shower head, somewhat renovated. Bathroom a little small but good enough for overnight. The noise was horrible though. I had my dog with me and I and they heard every door slam, ice drop, car trunk close. There has to be better sound absorption if this was a “pet room”. I got zero sleep and had a 9 hour drive ahead of me. I slept through breakfast because 9-10 seemed to be quieter. The carpet could use some refreshment but I gave it a 3 due to the great service and comfy beds for the price.

Wife and I are otr truck drivers and have stayed at many hotels ranging from $40-$150 nationwide. SureStay is definately among the best. Bertha does an excellent job of keeping the rooms spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, and have plenty of lights and outlets. The beds are very comfortable.

ONLY the staff is worthy of praise. Especially whomever makes the coffee. Take air freshners, bug sprays, cleaning and hazmat supplies if you decide to stay here. You might be more comfortable and safe/clean sleeping in your car at a rest stop. Sucked to have to be in such a place when already stressed due to being there for a funeral.

I love stopping here every time I'm this way. Always such a pleasant stay, comfortable beds, awesome breakfast. Matt, Yolanda and Maggie was very friendly along with rest of staff. It's always a pleasant stay!!

The hotel was clean, nice, and peaceful, which was much needed after the days I had in Fayetteville. Definitely a place I would recommend. I was a little concerned after reading some previous bad reviews, but let me say, I was pleasantly surprised. And the staff was extremely nice as well. Always a nice thing at a hotel.

If you want ratings please do not ask for 200 character minimum write up. I do not have anything either positive or negative to say about this hotel. It is an easy off the highway. Breakfast had sausage meat available which is a good thing, it and the eff option tasted good.

Great find in the tour book from AAA. The staff was warm and welcoming and easily met my request regarding a ground level room that was pet friendly. There was a good amount of "green space" to walk my dog. I'll definitely be stopping again on my north/south and south/north trips.

This place was the best place we stayed on our trip home. Clean, neat, comfortable and up to date decor. Very best breakfast included in price. No restaurant but lovely breakfast area. Offered pancakes, waffles, eggs, cereal, toast, bagels, fruit and more. Loved staying there even if only for the night!

Nice Breakfast. comfortable temp, adequate design and working facilities. God for a one night stay. Available at short notice for a very good price. Easy reservation and easy checkout. Two beds were a plus.

We ordered online non-smoking but got a stinking smoking room. On top it had mold on the ceiling due to water leakage. The replacement room was better but the connection door to the next room let all the noise through and the neighbors starting to get up with their kids around 6am on a Saturday. We just arrived at 1am and wanted to sleep in a little bit. Finally after 1 hour they went for breakfast and never returned. Then the cleaning lady woke us at 9:30am. We had no sign out to not disturb since their was no sign in the room. Some other smaller issues were a dirty towel. It had foreign hair and some spots. One of the comforters had burn hole and the main lamp in the room did not work. I am regular customer from Best Western and was always happy with the value I got for the price. They should not associate their name with this SureStay chain. I am planning to complain with them too. This review is just a start.

We stopped after a long day on the road, figured Best Western lending their name to this place would mean quality, and the price was right for just a few hours sleep. Surprise! Front desk staff were very courteous (desk staff were a saving grace). However, there our experience turned for the worse. The room is severely dated - think swirled stucco walls, mustard yellow paint that needed a good cleaning/repaint, mystery powder in the corner of the room on the baseboard/light plug/carpet, and the tile floor by the sink and the bathroom felt like they were mopped with Kool Aid (think human size glue trap). The bed felt like a trampoline, we were worried to walk on the carpets or eat breakfast after seeing the job housekeeping did in the room. Will avoid this chain in the future, the Best Western name was a false beacon.

The location of the hotel was just off the freeway with plenty of nearby gas stations and eateries. The rooms were a bit dated but clean, the lobby was welcoming along with the staff we did see. The breakfast was not uo to standards compared to other Best Westerns. Overall well worth the price.

we were looking for a pet friendly hotel and picked this one for an overnight. It was a pleasant suprise except for the 15 pet fee. staff was courteous and helpful, breakfast in the am was excellent room was clean and very comfortable for an older motel

The staff is friendly, the room is clean the highway is right there and .Just in case you are hungry bangles is next door. All the amenities I associate with be hotels from the Best Western chains .Great breakfasts as usual. S

Heating unit doesn't work properly. Curtain hubbers over ac/ heat unit as it blows.Dirty bathroom around the toilet area. Unsecured property looked door was kicked in Forcibly. Lobby looks nice but that's about it. Stay away from room 123.

The front desk worker was pleasant but the room needed some nicer furniture and the room should of been a little cleaners. The cleaning department needs to take a little longer and clean from corner to corner in the rooms and under the beds, also cleaning of the furniture would be nice.

Review of this overnight stay was easy. The place was clean and comfortable. Nothing was wrong at all. This was a second time stay and we would stay there anytime we would be in the area. Easy to get to restaurants are also nearby.

You can beat there price especially when your traveling on a budget. My granddaughters are in cheer leading competition takes all over the country.So we are always looking for places to stay that are safe, clean and cheap. We enjoyed our recent stay and will return here when we come back in the spring.

I stayed in room 111 last Thursday night. The room was dirty and I woke up with bites all over my body. Neck, arms, legs and back covered in bites. I will not be staying there again. The room looked like it was in need of repair. I have pictures of all the bites that I received.

Really enjoyed this trip the staff was wonderful and getting my reservation straightened out. The original reservation had me staying somewhere in California this weekend and quite often all of the hotels fill up in the Fayetteville area on tthe weekend Great breakfast buffet

We decided to stay at this hotel because it is a sister company to Best Western. I was very disappointed the bedding was stained & the bed sagged in the middle & the carpet looked like it was not vacuumed well. The bathroom was clean. I should have requested another room

We stayed here for one night on our way south. Very convenient for off and on I 95. Breakfast delicious. Needs a bigger outdoor sign. Property was in good condition. Allows pets so ask to be assigned a room away from barking dogs, they changed our room as soon as we called the front desk to ask for the change, even brought the new key to us and helped with directions.

If you find yourself traveling on I-95 through N.C. and you need a reasonably priced GREAT place to stay with a truly great ample HOT breakfast the SureStay Plus off exit 49 will never disappoint you. Rocky the general manager has a great staff in Kesha and Michelle who will professionally ensure your comfort and requirements immediately taken care of.

I travel allot and over the past 12 years I've stayed at many hotels. Over the past year we discovered Best Western. The Hotels rooms are clean and comfortable and the price is right. Never had a single problem with them. We were in Fayetteville, NC. and stayed at the SureStay Plus Hotel on Cedar Creek RD. right off of Rt. 95. Being in a rush to get back home to Florida, not knowing I had left my Laptop at the hotel. Half way home and we get a call from Michelle at the Front Desk telling me that the cleaning lady had found it and turned it in to her. I had allot of important work on the laptop and to lose it would have cost me big time. I spoke to the Manager, Rocky Naik and he went out of his way to bring my Laptop to the local UPS store and mailed it back to me. Now if that isn't service, I don't know what is. I can not thank them enough for what they did. From here on out I will go out of my way to stay at a Best Western, SureStay Plus Hotel when ever we travel. Thank you Rocky, Michelle and the unnamed Cleaning Lady.

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. Breakfast selections very good and clean area to sit. Many choices for restaurants nearby. Gas prices excellent in the area. Parking very convenient to the room.

Been there twice in last 6 mos. Both times I received about many insect bites, many appearing after I checked out in the AM. Motel is nice w good hot breakfast, but I would never go back unless I had some assurance that they have resolved this insect problem. Also had some people (guests or staff?) talking loudly in the parking lot outside my door at 4 AM.

Nice motel for the price. Great breakfast and check in/check out service, Just off I-95 3 blocks. Near good restaurants and convenience stores. I would stay there again on my next trip to the Fayetteville area.

We had a pet friendly room , the room had not been cleaned, dog's hair everywhere and it smelled really bad.I am not sure the sheets were changed, there were some dog's hair in the bed.I do not recommend that hotel.

There was some faults, such as the heat not working and the Internet wasn't that great. The bed was very firm. Other than those small inconveniences I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean and I had a smoking room but when you walked it it smelled clean and you would have never guessed it was a smoking room.

Breakfast was best. Nice variety of items, well prepared, well presented. Room left much to be desired. While it appeared clean, many little things needed attention, upgrading. Good location just off 95. Wlll stay elsewhere next time through.

Greeted by a friendly night receptionist. Room had some water damage, a stain on carpet, and a broken shower control. Luckily it was stuck on lukewarm. The duvet covers both had fresh dirt. The housekeeper should have/must have seen that. TV had a better HD picture than my own. The remote was a buttonless clean variety. Bed comfortable. Breakfast adequate. Priced fair. 3.5 rounded up

All fairness the front desk representive was good in trying to accommodate my family. This was just for a stay over for the night .We book two separate rooms, my daughter had to Clorox the sink bathroom because of blood being on the sink, her bed had stains. My room you couldn't sit on any chairs because of the filth. But the icing was when we turn the water on in the sink it all drained thru the pipes and flooded the floor. We went down the the front desk and came in thru the side door that was suppose to be locked with only key entrance it was suppose to be. Ok we got another room and told to call from room if it was ok. I went to room to call back Down the phone was not working. At this point we quickly decided to find another place for the night. The woman at the front desk acquiesce and refunded us. Will never state here and wouldn't reccomend it to anyone.

I am not sure about the negative reviews. I stayed there recently, and had a very nice experience. My room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom was large, modern, and clean, with sufficient supplies (I was alone) for me. The breakfast was adequate, with pancakes, waffles, and the other usual fare. The breakfast area was clean and staffed for refills. All in all, especially for the price paid, my one-night stay was very pleasant.

Run away and don't look back. Had to clean my own bathroom, complete with bloodstains, also received complimentary bodily fluid stains on the headboards. Realizing that I could not let my child or my parents sleep in such filth, we checked right out. Seeing the police canvassing the place, somehow made me feel more uncomfortable. The stairs were so treacherous (I tripped a few times), a small child can fall thru them and people were walking from outside the hotel premises to use its outdoor washer&dryer. I'm only giving a star, because the kind front desk lady was very understanding when we checked out after a couple of hours looking for another place to stay. PS - Bojangles next door was delicious!

We traveled from Canada down to Orlando and back, and stopped here for 1 night along the way. It was a very late check in, and early check out - but the price was great, the location was great, the buffet breakfast was delicious and appreciated - and the most noticed thing was how happy and friendly ALL staff was from every encounter. The housekeeping in the morning, the breakfast staff and both encounters at the desk were phenomenal and helpful. The room is not a 5 star hotel, but we were comfortable and it was (BY FAR) cleaner than several other hotels that we stayed at over the 12 day roadtrip. We would DEFINITELY stay here again, no question! (Also - the travel book at the stops from state-state had a coupon, which made an already affordable room even MORE affordable.) I can't believe this place has some 1 star reviews.. I've stayed at some places that deserve 1 star, and this is truly NOT one of them.

The check in was good. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. The rooms were not the best, but not the worst I have seen. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were way too thick. The curtains did not completely cover the window and let in a lot of light. The maid service was mediocre. They only brought one clean towel and didn't make the beds or empty the trash. The breakfast was good and breakfast staff were very friendly. I doubt I'll stay here again.

I stayed here with my 100 lb. lab during the hurricane. I only booked for 2 nights but was not able to get back to Wilmington until 9 days later. During my stay, Rocky was juggling many guests, hundreds of first responders, pets, power outages, area evacuees, downed systems...He worked with each of us to extend our stays, accommodate our needs and make us as comfortable as possible, given the circumstances. He did this all with a patient, kind and concerned attitude for each person. I would not stay here for a luxury vacation but, if you are passing through, it is clean, convenient and comfortable - good value for the price. It is the owner, his family and the staff that make this place special.

Stayed with the family and had some quirks that Kecia took care of them. A safe and clean place to spend the night along the I-95 corridor. A breakfast to fill your belly and keep going. It's the people that make places welcoming, and Kecia is one of them. Thanks.

The beds were okay but a few problems of concern... the smoke detector was hanging off the wall, there was a large area of wet carpet around the carpet and the bathroom toilet seat was a hazard, almost falling off work each use- was missing some screws/ bolts ( should be fixed ASAP)... breakfast buffet was pretty good

We stayed here in June and were very favorably impressed. This property is clean, crisp, freshly painted, and nicely furnished. Our room had a spacious sitting area with freshly cleaned upholstery, a large sleeping area, and a nice bath area. Nightly rate was much less than we expected for a room of this quality. We will be sure to stay here when in the area. STAY HERE, you'll be glad you did!

Every time I stay here there's always improvements going on. It just keeps getting better and better!! There's nothing about this hotel to not love!!! Matt and Rocky are such big helps and so friendly!!

Just needed a quick place to stop for the night. I looked online while my husband was driving and found this place. Right price and everything we wanted. Very nicehotel with a nice pool which was perfect for our kids to cool off in before going to bed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The lady who was responsible for filling everything made sure the area was clean and well stocked without everything getting cold. Overall a very nice experience and great staff!

We stayed for one night on our way north for vacation. We arrived around 10:30 pm and the front sliding doors were locked. My husband banged in the doors until someone opened them. Our room seemed clean. It was non-smoking but smelled of old smoke. Breakfast was small, but included hot waffles, cold biscuits, gravy, sausage and (powdered?) eggs. Cereal, bagels, mini muffins and juice also. Fine for a quick stop overnight. We didn't use the pool.

Spent one night at the Sure Stay hotel in Fayetteville N.C. and thoroughly enjoyed it . We were traveling with our terrier and were pleased we got a ground floor pet friendly room. Large spacious room renovated fairly recently with big bathroom and comfortable beds. Room was slightly stuffy when we first entered but after running the A.C. for 10 minutes or so it cleared. Hotel is an older exterior corridor building in good shape with beautiful lobby and breakfast area. Wonderful breakfast spread with hot and cold offerings. Well lit parking lots and like parking right outside our door.No road noise noted or it was covered by the A.C. unit sound. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.

I am a gold crown club member and I collect my points and use them for vacation around the world. This is not a fancy hotel but a good value for the price. Michelle at the front desk and Rocky were very very nice and conversational.

The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. They have a pancake machine that pushes out fresh, home made pancakes-delicious. But the rooms are not close to being a Best Western Plus hotel. We had 2 different rooms, both had leaks from the bathroom. The leak in the second room wasn't discovered until we were about to go to bed and the carpet was all wet and the corking around the sink was coming off. The air conditioner was so loud it woke us up every time it turned on. The manager said he would check the leaks and maybe they are fixed now but if you are a light sleeper, the air conditioner will definitely keep you awake.

We enjoy our stay every time we're in town.. They have the friendliest staff and management in the surrounding area, I will argue this any day, the rooms are very spacious and the king beds are soo comfortable.. the breakfast they serve in the morning is to die for.. sausage, eggs, biscuit and gravy, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, grits, so much more. Seriously... for the price, the service, the comfort, and if you love food like me, the breakfast why would you even stay anywhere else? I love this hotel!

First time staying at a Surestay ( by best western ) had booked a non-smoking room . at check in clerk gave us a smoking room didn't know till at room. called asking for different room was given a hard time telling us it was what we asked for. finally get non smoking room still smelled poorly . should have left when she told us this was a rodeway before but we needed to room for the night. don't know if all surestay are like this but it will be a long time before a book another.

I stayed for 2 night, the lady who checked me in , i believe her name is Kecia, was absolutely wonderful and friendly. Breakfast included which i thought was a pretty nice one considering the fact that it was free! Biscuits, gravey, pancake, scrambled egg, small muffins and cereal. The location was good, like 4 miles away from downtown Overall had a great stay :)

Do not stay here if you are a light sleeper. Could hear every word from adjacent room at 1:00 AM! Also people playing ball in parking lot at 1:00 ! But very good breakfast. Eggs, sausage, toast, muffins, fresh fruit, waffles, and pancakes.

We were there for 3 hours and had to call the office twice about the EXTREMELY loud music in the room on the second floor above us(we even overlooked the smell of the room). After the second time the music got louder, at this point my wife who just drove 8 hours was furious and just wanted to leave. Because they have no quiet hour and we were there for 3 hours they refused to give us a refund. You could not pay me to stay at this hotel. I had to put a rating of one, because it would not submit otherwise

This hotel is awesome. I checked in with a wonderful lady at about 3 in the morning I think her name was keesha and checked out with a nice guy named Rocky. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was out of this world. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, etc..what a way to start your day with a long trip ahead of you. Thanks rocky and keesha for a great stay.

I booked this hotel because of the Best Western brand but we come away disappointed especially comparing to our prior experience with different Best Western hotels in the country. The room and the common facilities look old, tired and dirty, except maybe the front lobby which is okay. You can tell the room is just run down and things are broken without the proper maintenance. We have a hard time getting a good night sleep because the mattresses are not merely being soft but they are actually sagging. They should be replaced long ago. Later on I realized the property was a Rodeway Inn before and Best Western must have bought and rebranded it, but unfortunately it didn't bring it up to Best Western standard and service level.

Convenient stop right off freeway. The room was clean. One of our pillowcases had a rip in it. The towels were a step up from normal hotel towels. The bed was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. The breakfast was great if you wanted pancakes, waffles, biscuits but lacked healthier options such as boiled eggs, fruit. Also they had an outdoor pool but no hot tub. The hotel was ok for a one night stay.

We found this place through the coupon books at the welcome center. The Sunday Night Price special was excellent. Staff was friendly. We found the layout of the room much to our satisfaction. In addition to the king size bed, there was a couch set aside like a separate sitting room. There was also a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Breakfast in the morning was delightful. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the sausage was tasty. I would have liked to try out the pancake maker but I couldn't eat that much! I highly recommend this motel!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the SureStay Plus Hotel in Fayetteville, North Carolina and it was there that I encountered an individual who deserves much credit for the hard work that she performs daily at the breakfast nook. Her name is Doris and she prepares the food served at breakfast. She works hard preparing the hot breakfast items, making sure that there is a sufficient amount of hot food available to accommodate all of the guests. The hot breakfast is one of the main reasons why I decided to stay at this SureStay Plus Hotel in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It is a step above the rest.

This place has gone from Comfort Inn to Rodeway Inn to Sure Stay. How it got the Surestay name I have no idea, because the place was even to horrible for a Rodeway. The paint job is bad the furniture is worse and their are roaches everywhere.

That is the only good thing to say about our stay. Smelly and not so clean I know we use to stay there when it was a Rodeway but will not be back to this one! Needs to be updated and cleaned and we are definitely not picky people!!

I am a guess at sure stay hotel and I have to say that is a fantastic place to stay this hotel makes you feel like home when you go in the lobby there's a gentleman his name is Mr.Rocky he is so nice has a smile on his face he is very sweet and he cares for his guess make sure we leave out of the lobby satisfied with his service also there's two receptionist one name Mariah and kecia they are so sweet with their guess I am so happy staying at sure stay is Great

I so wanted to like this hotel — the reviews I read on TripAdvisor were encouraging and the nightly rate was definitely not discouraging — however reviews are subjective and I realize my standards are somewhat higher than the people who provided reviews. My first clue should have been the couple who was at the front desk when I arrived requesting a refund. They had just checked in and were in the process of checking out. The woman when asked by me, shared that there room had an “odd” odor. She was also uncomfortable with exterior door entrances. First, the good news. The lobby area was clean and updated. The girl at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. The bad news...the room I was assigned although it appeared to be clean on first inspection was in need of work - see photos. The room was also missing a microwave but in fairness the front desk was not aware - apparently things go “missing” from the rooms that management often isn't told about. This is a pet-friendly hotel which are becoming more prevalent along the I-95 corridor. Which is a good thing because I'll need to find a different one for my next stay in Fayetteville.

This is NOT A PLUS HOTEL. It is no better than a basic Days In motel. Our bathroom was unsanitary, our check in irritating, the first room full of smoke smell, the beds and pillows cheap and only decent enough for one quick night. Breakfast wasn't terrible, though there were no healthy options- no fruit at all, no plain cereal. Just powered eggs, nitrate full sausage, and sugar filled breads and pastries. At least being under booked kept it quiet. I contacted SureStay with the following and even after our complaints and disgust, all they did was offer us 20% off our next stay. We replied that in no way will we be coming back in its current condition. We stay in hotels at least 70x a year. Letter as follows: “My main issue is how we were treated, and the initial refusal of the upgrade to the king sized bed upon our arrival (we are Platinum members of Best Western). As we were coming from out of state, I called two hours ahead to secure the king bed with your staff member Kecia -as we are allotted an upgrade if they are available. Despite the multitude of king beds available online through the Best Western site, she told me that she only had a double queen vacant. I told her that we have a two year old that sleeps with us, though she responded that she had no kings available. After many hours in the car, and arriving late evening, we were really put off upon finding that the first room (228) we were issued was inundated with the smell of smoke. It was freezing and wet out, and after attempting to unload ourselves into the room, I had to run across the parking lot to be issued another room. I was met with very little compassion, though given another key quickly - to a king sized room. Why was this not offered earlier on? The hotel was very under-booked and had many a room open... why refuse us? While this room (252) was more suitable, we found that the bathroom was unclean and unkempt, and this morning, when we were retrieving our raw milk out of the refrigerator, that the unit was out of order. Everything we put in it last night was warm and off, ending up in the trash. I called up your staff in complaint this morning... they suggested I contact a manager. I have attached photos from the bathroom. I do hope that your hotel can compensate my family in some way for the duress. We are accustomed to a Best Western Plus hotel being of a higher standard.

Love all the upgrades done in the rooms and on the property. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Matt was very friendly and helpful as he done breakfast and kept the breakfast bar clean and stocked. Breakfast was delicious as new things had been added since my last stay here. Its always a pleasant stay.

We were on our way south and needed a place to lay our heads. This place was available andcthe orice was right. Beds comfortable, decent breakfast, quiet and we were on our way. Would stop here again if we were ever in the area.

This has to be the best value in Fayetteville. Most motels, if you have a coupon, will limit you to one night. But Rocky is fantastic. He honored six nights for me! He is a very, friendly understanding owner/manager. The desk clerks are very helpful; especially Zabrina (I hope I am spelling her name right.) She shows a genuine concern for her guests and was very helpful. The rooms are quiet, clean and large. There is standard, basic cable TV. The rooms also come with a free and delicious hot breakfast (6-9) that includes biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, oatmeal, and grits. The fact that I stayed here six nights shows how fantastic the StaySure is!

Yolanda was a great help. I love her customer service skills, she is the best worker there that I have seen yet. It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. Yolanda made sure we had clean bedding and clean towlels and wash clothes.

Since we had our four legged friend with us, we requested a dog friendly room. The room(134) seemed clean and adequate. The wife and I went out to eat something and within 15 minutes, the daughter called, indicating that she had bug itches all over her upper torso; either fleas or bed bugs. We complained to the front desk(the daughter went and showed the employee all of the bites) and we were provided room 146, which was ok. The issue I have is that although, the person at the front desk when we arrived was very friendly, by the time we complained, it was a different employee. Neither the daughter, nor I when I came back to the hotel offered an apology for the issue; just a "here is another room". The employee in the morning during checkout was much more friendlier and asked me what I think could have been the problem. Other than that, the automatic pancake maker they have makes pancakes about 2-3" in diameter, kind of small. You would need to wait to make about 10-20 for the equivalent of two pancakes. Don't think we'll stay there again.

Our stay was just an overnight on an extended trip. Having a medical problem, we asked for help with luggage at checkin and checkout. They graciously came to our aid and were reluctant to take a tip for the service. The building seemed to be a little tired in places but was clean and provided a satisfactory experience.

It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. Yolanda was a great help. She was there with the towels and wash clothes before i could even ask. She was so polite and ready to help. I will stay here any time.

First time we have stayed at a Surestay , and we were impressed by the facility. Normally we are loyal to Bestwestern an d we have found this budget end of bestwestern to be up to all BW standards. Although smaller and less stylish the room itself was more than adequate, clean and beds were quite comfortable. Breakfast offered was better than most BW pluses, Check in person was very pleasant and efficient, lobby was quite welcoming with a fireplace warmong the area on a very cold day in Fayetteville N.C. . We will definitely stay here again and will look for Surestays in the future.

Great breakfast- friendly staff.Beds were very comfortable with easy to use heaters- We were on the ground floor which was nice for loading and unloading the car. First time that we have stayed at this hotel but we have it marked for future reference.

This is a simple pleasure for travelers. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman. Who was pleasant, informative, and helpful. It was a family reunion trip for us and a quiet and comfortable room was much appreciated. The breakfast was very good. The breakfast bar was accessible all day for tea and coffee. We enjoyed our stay.

We have been staying at this motel in Fayetteville for several years and just love it. I like all the recent upgrades. It is our half way stop between West Palm and New York. The breakfast buffet is so good we often skip lunch that day. The staff is friendly and always eager to help.

We were returning to Florida from Pennsylvania, after attending a funeral. It was a long day and we had a coupon for this hotel at $49.00 This hotel should be rated a 4 star hotel. The rooms were outstanding everything was great. The beds were outstanding and rooms were spotless which is almost a never in the hotel industry. The staff was very friendly, and this was not a put on act. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING, the eggs were great even though they were reconstituted, the breakfast area was very clean. Unlike a lot of hotels. There were a few people having breakfast and they all were saying how great the hotel was. Also because of the hotels location it was really quite. No traffic noise from interstate Thank you staff for making our overnight stay outstanding. If you are in the area and need a hotel to stay at this is the one.

I got to exit 49 after a bit over 11 hours of driving. I had seen the rates for all the hotels, and they seemed a little bit high. This one was one of the cheapest, so it was only a matter of reconciling quality and cost. They didnt disappoint. The owner did the check in. He gave me a room on the far end so a long walk , but I am guessing that he was giving one of his better rooms. The room was good size and clean. The furniture was not new but it was in good condition. The bathroom was fine. And in the morning, before the next 5 hour drive, I had a decent breakfast... Considering the big brands' high rates, you might want to check this out if you are on a budget.

I checked in with a very nice gentleman, who in fact was the owner. He stated that they were updating the place, and my room must have been one of them. It was very clean and comfortable. It was pretty spacious, with a small "living area" as well as the regular bedroom part. The bath was clean and modern. The breakfast the next day was a pleasant surprise, with a nice selection in a clean area. I would stay again when in the area. The free wifi was fine also.

We have stayed in Best Western hotels all over the country and this place was the worst we have ever stayed in.Tiny rooms, dreary, dark bathrooms, no bedside lamp, ice machine near our room did not work, breakfast was very low quality. Biscuits were cold in the center, sausages were cut up in small pieces, cheap paper plates, it was awful. The lobby staff were very unfriendly and they wanted a tip! Last week's newspaper in lobby

My husband and I stopped here for the night on the way to Outer Banks for an anniversary trip.Reasonable rates,clean room,good hot breakfast,and the desk clerk was very helpful.My tablet wouldn't pull up directions,he printed some off for us to use for the remainder of our trip.Would recommend this to other travelers.

Hospitality. That's the business right? The desk clerk (one never knows if it is the owner) did that trick some hotels are doing. If you want to check in early, there's an upcharge. Outrageous. I'll never stop screaming it. This guy was really over the top. He was happy to check us in early for the extra fee but when we asked to see a room (to see if the place was worth it to us to wait until exactly 3pm), he said no rooms were ready. !!!!!! So, we can't say if the place is nice, the breakfast tasty, the beds comfy... because we never got past the lobby. We cancelled and found a lovely Econolodge in Selma, just up I95. There, we were treated warmly and the room was exceptional. If you can, go 40 minutes further north and be treated right (for less money).

The price was great at $60. It is right off I-95 and you can walk over to Cracker Barrel for dinner. The listing said rooms had hairdryers but ours did not and the desk attendant had no hairdryers. The pool is nice (very warm after a summer day) and there are clean towels in a bin on the pool deck. The rooms have cute decor and there is a mini-fridge and microwave. Bathrooms have not been renovated in a while. There's no elevator to the second level and the stairway in the middle was unusable - covered in CAUTION tape and no railings. Rooms smelled fine and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is included and was the usual carbs and sweets. They did have tea and Fox News on the tv. Wifi is free but unsecured.

Enjoyed my stay once again!! Always very clean rooms at an affordable price!! Can't beat the breakfast or the staff!! Everything and everyone is super nice!! Rooms have been painted and furniture updated and very nice variety for breakfast. I would recommend anyone needing a place to stay to stay here!!

checked in late night and checked out right after we saw 4 cockroaches in the room.I wont recommend this hotel to anyone.The location is great for travelers but not clean,they should contact the pest control and clean the hotel first.
