"Family vacation"

Room was smaller than pictured, we tripped over beds and people. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Village was about 5 minutes from hotel and Dublin center was about 30 minutes away. Breakfast was buffet style and very good. No fridge in room but they told us on our last night there that they could have brought one to the groom, not that there was any space for one. I would stay there again!

"Lads night out"

had flys in the lights need to fit it the dirt on the floors need to be cleaned and baloney was full of green moud bed frame was stained and door was not working at times but the room was a good room just needed work done on it

"Rude Staff (Not all) , Horrible Room, Feeling unwelcome, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CREDIT CARD!"

1st Moan ... I came here last weekend with partner, brother and his partner. Upon arrival we weren't even greeted, just asked for our names and our deposit money which i had no Idea about. we were asked for deposits which would be refunded after our stay but only with a credit card? we weren't told any of this and it was advised it stated you needed a CC in the Ts & Cs (to small of a small print for me and ive never came across this in my life) luckily we bargained to let them use my visa debit (3 days have passed and still waiting for the deposit £265 to be returned to me) 2nd Moan... My brother and partner wanted to pay for breakfast (12.50) which is fair enough, but I asked if i could sit with them at the table but not order anything so i wasn't on my own, to which the restaurant gentleman (head of or manager im assuming). advises " you cannot sit in MY restaurant on MY chairs or even in my dining hall, you'll have to wait somewhere else (and walked off) , I was mortified as people were staring at me as if i had done something wrong. So then I embarrassingly had to sit in the other part of the room on my own on whilst waiting for my partner to come down. ( Looking back I wish i had of complained as i was made to feel like I was not welcome) 3rd Moan... I can only assume the room I was given was a 'pop up, make shift' bedroom as you can tell our room must of been used for keeping clothes in or something like that, cupboards everywhere, 1 small mirror in the bathroom, we did have a kettle, tea bags and milk, however the kettle didnt fit into the plug socket as you could tell it had just been placed there so the kettle had to be worked by the TV. Mattress was hard as anything, this may sound picky but you could just tell it was a make shift room and I Paid good money to stay there for two nights. Overall... - The bar was nice and the prices for alcohol were cheap so its best to pre drink before you hit the city which is about 30 euro for a taxi. - They have nice vending machines.. - There was one young gentleman at the reception who was absolutely lovely so i wouldnt like to include him in this rant as he cracked jokes with us and was really down to earth. Other than that, that's all I have to say.

"I would gladly come back next time"

Location is quiet, bus 69 stop in front of the Hotel . Room very clean, cleaning services each day. Didn't miss nothing. Few things to improve is more programs on TV and a small fridge in the room. The rest was perfect.

"Literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed at"

This is an absolutely horrendous hotel. I am astounded that it is classed as four star. The reception staff are short and rude. The enormous green lights outside making the hotel 'green' at night shine through guest room windows. These windows do not have blackout blinds. Sockets on the walls of room 147 were hanging loose. Room 255 had no working stopper in either the sink or bath. Both rooms had aged, extremely uncomfortable mattresses. Upon attempting to make a noise complaint at 10pm, the reception staff were nowhere to be seen. Instead a rude, aggressive security guard had a word and then a laugh and a bro-hug with the residents causing the noise. This continued until 2.30am. Room 371 had a broken single bed. Hotel staff failed to change sheets twice, instead tucking the duvet to make it look as if it had been changed. Old decor in this room includes head height lamps on the walls that catch your face in the dark every time you walk back to bed. Again, noise was an extreme issue. Pillows were so lumpy they resembled my sons teddy. The breakfast was a disorganised mess, I was left for 10 minutes waiting for a batch of eggs. The list goes on. We didn't stay our final night, instead leaving to go to the Castleknock Hotel which is an ACTUAL 4 star hotel and was glorious, wonderful service and rooms. Truly horrified by this experience. We were originally offered a free nights stay as compensation for the experience.. I was astounded by that. Finally offered a 25% refund. Should have been a full refund after this experience.

"Best hotel and great staff"

I've been stopping here with my son fr the past 12 months. The staff are great and always look after me and my friends son and there isnt anywhere else I would want to stay. Credit to all the staff as they make this hotel the best one around and I always recommend to friends and family without hesitation

"Exellent hotel"

I must say the manager bernard is such a nice friendly man that could not do enough for you he is what every hotel needs i would not stay anywhere else in dublin very clean amd the best steak in ireland i would highly recommend this hotel

"Worst ever experienced"

From rude ignorant booking receptionist, arriving to dirty toilet and what looked like milk encrusted glasses. Not one member of staff said good morning or afternoon. No interest in complaints or help.

"Poor Service"

Dreadful treatment by the night porter who was also checking out guests early morning, very unhelpful and accusing me of not having paid even though it was paid on booking.com. Said no breakfast either

"Stayed before the airport. "

Good hotel. Stay on a Saturday night before flying out of Dublin. Easy to get to and just off the m50. Good size rooms and very clean. Would recommend if you are staying on the outskirts of Dublin city.

"Not 4 star"

This hotel is not 4 star. We were in room 386 and the room still has a headboard and lamps attached to the wall from the previous furniture. There are marks on the wall where the wall has been filled and not repainted. Nicely tiled bathroom yet paint on the ceiling is cracked and peeling off and covered in mildew. No drawers at all to put your clothes in. No safe in the room and no locks on the lockers in the changing rooms for the pool. Very underwhelmed by the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful and a great location.

"Very high standard well delivered by helpful friendly staff"

Lovely clean hotel, with very friendly helpful staff, large bedroom which was immaculately clean as we're the hallways up to our room. Excellent value for money, my husband and I stayed just one night but we will certainly stay here again while visiting Dublin. Easy access off the N7 as we traveled from Carlow fir a night out with friends. Will be back.

"Below standards"

Road noise very load. Unable to turn the heating off in the room which meant uncomfortable nights sleep and if you opened the window for air you would have thought you were sleeping on the motorway. Fire alarm went off twice within 20mins. Had to request an ironing board 3 times in nearly hours. Someone pooped in the pool. There was a poster saying staff would book our transfer to the course with a coach company. Enquired about this and we were handed a telephone number by a rude member of staff and had to book ourselves.

"Great but beware of silly policy"

My mother and I stayed at the green Isle on the weekend. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. However unfortunately a credit card is needed to now book a room even if it's debited from a debit card. Neither my mother or I have one and don't want to get one either so therefore unfortunately we will not be able to stay again which we have done many of times before.

"Greenisle Dublin"

Excellent.Warm comfortable hotel.Very good service. Friendly, curtious staff. Food good and reasonably priced. Parking, indoors , convenient and free. Had a very good package deal. Will return again

"Stay at Green Isle during Connie Ryan Dublin Dancing"

Stay at the hotel during Connie Ryan Dublin Dancing. Have B & B and a Dinner. Clear room, good Service, Wi-Fi in the room slow. Wi-Fi in the hall excellent. Good food. Employee of reception very helpful: they answer to all question immediately!
