"Great front desk staff"

Brittney at the front desk was wonderful...extremely helpful. The room was adequate, window is small, bathroom large, beds comfortable. Hotel is nice and quiet. Breakfast spread is fantastic, and the gal was continually cleaning and restocking. Unfortunately the outdoor pool was closed, some goof broke a beer bottle in it so they had to drain it. May not be open til early July so if thats important for you, I'd call before making a reservation. There are no restaurants within walking distance, but numerous within 2 miles.

We stayed on Sunday and Friday (twice in a week). Great staff, good breakfast. clean, good beds. We got in late with a bus load and they had keys ready with warm cookies for us. They were good about changing rooms as needed. Did you know that handicap rooms only have one bed?

We spent one night at this location. I would consider property and location very good. Staff was very friendly. Offers free breakfast consisting of waffle maker, omelettes, fruit and cereals. The room was clean but a few stains on carpet. Beds were not most comfortable I've slept on but I've also slept on worse.

Nice hotel, centrally located with easy access to highway. Close to shopping mall and various food spots. Nice size, clean rooms. Grounds well maintained. Staff efficient and friendly. Complimentary breakfast varied daily.

Spotless. Great beds. Excellent breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. No complaints. We had a very long drive and were greeted with great service with all amenities available. Pool closed but it was out of season.

We weren't planning to stop in Daytona, but our car broke down. This is the only hotel we called. They gave us a great rate and OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!! The room and hotel were immaculate. The breakfast was outstanding. The beds couldn't have been more comfortable. The staff especially Terri Watson, went beyond the call of duty to meet every need. I asked for help contacting Uber to get to the car repair place and Terri offered to drive us. She also packed water and snacks for our trip back to Detroit. I can't say enough good about each and everything. I also noticed them giving kind and helpful service to everyone else as well. Thank you Best Western for a great stay. My grand daughter and I had a wonderful time!

Very nice and clean hotel. Staff was wonderful and made sure we felt at home. Plus, FREE breakfast buffet with hot breakfast meats (eggs, bacon, sausage), waffles, pancakes various cereals. Will definitely stay again when in the area!

"Rooms not clean"

We were so disgusted and disappointed with your location that we left and went somewhere else. We arrived shortly after 3:00pm to check-in as we had an engagement at 4:30. We were given a room on the first floor and we took our luggage to it. As soon as we walked in, the tile entry way was filthy with debris and spilled coffee. My wife went and got a woman who told her she was the manager to come and look at it. The manager said that she'd get us a fresh room and asked us to wait in the lobby while she worked it out.We told her that we were in a bit of a time crunch and she promised to get us taken care of. We waited over 10 minutes and she came back and took us personally to the new room. She said she personally inspected the floor and assured us it was clean. She remarked to us that the hotel was old and things weren't as sparkly as when it was new. We agreed that the floor was clean and the manager left to get us the room keys. While she was gone, my wife put her hand down on the counter area where the coffee maker was sitting. She felt something and lifted her hand. It was covered in coffee grounds and sugar and who knows what else. The entire counter was filthy. The counter was a dark color and you couldn't see the stuff on it. When the manager came back with the keys, we asked her to touch the counter. She also pulled up her hand covered in stuff. All she said was "oh...". We immediately told her that we were disgusted and that we wanted our money back, we were leaving. She processed our reservation out and said that we wouldn't be charged. The first room obviously wasn't cleaned. The second room obviously wasn't cleaned. I believe that the manager washed the entry floor herself before taking us to the room. If the floors aren't cleaned and the counters weren't wiped down then what else wasn't done? Did they change the sheets? Did they bring in clean towels? Did they do anything? The thought of staying in that hotel makes me cringe even days later as I'm writing this. Then we had the added inconvenience of being in an area strange to us and trying to find another place to stay when there was apparently a huge school tournament in town for something. We were late for our 4:30 appointment. It was a horrible experience for us.

Everything positive. Daughter in WGI, World Color Guard Championships. Availability of rooms in area really tight. Called Hotel directly and spoke to Brittany who was able to get me a room from cancellations at lower price then online sites. Every interaction with staff was pleasant. Internet flawless, breakfast bar was stocked and well maintained by breakfast people, rooms were immaculate and every staff interaction was good. A very nice well managed property.

"Stopping in for the night"

Stopped in at this hotel as our half way point heading south. Check in was quick, we parked around the back as we had a trailer (lots of room) but the room card we were given did not open the door to get in. It was hit and miss getting into the room as well but we managed The room was clean. The beds were almost too hard for our comfort. The hotel was very quiet, there was barely anybody in the hotel, but they managed to place a family with loud children in the room beside us. The breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed it. I would recommend this hotel for a night or 2 stay

I had not have an issue and was a good experience. Good breakfast. The room was comfortable and very clean. Loved the fact there was a microwave and fridge. The staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful.

"Low Quality Motel"

We planned on staying in this Best Western for all of our 6 night stay in Centerville to care my mother who had fallen. Housekeeping was terrible. They forgot to service our room entirely after the first night, and even accused us of leaving the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, which we had not. The second day they serviced the bathroom, but didn't make the bed. The third day they made the bed, but never changed the sheets. The manager stated they don't change sheets until after the THIRD night. After spending our 4th night on the same sheets and pillow cases we checked out. I will never stay in a Best Western anywhere, ever again.

Quick check in,nice,quiet room and coffee and tea to quench our thirst.The area has excellent shopping and dining choices.The morning we checked out was quick accompanied by an excellent breakfast provided an hour before the six o'clock opening time.

The hotel is easily located just off the highway. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. They welcome you, get you checked in and are very solicitous. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was great!

Great facility. Extremely comfortable and well priced. Upon arrival, I was greeted at the front desk by Sarah B. who was perfectly cordial, accommodating, and professional. Her associate, a warm gentleman, followed suit. I seldom take the time to write reviews but was so pleasantly surprised by Sarah's customer service that I had to write one. The room was clean, spacious, and had far more amenities than I expected after paying such a great rate. I reserved a one week stay for an intensive for my doctorate degree and have no doubt that anytime I'm in Dayton, Ohio for school projects... I'll be at the Best Western Plus Dayton South!

Great location, always friendly staff, good breakfast. I stay at this location at least once a year for the holidays and family weddings. Have never had an issue and always a pleasant experience. The front desk staff is always friendly.

Overall very good. Only issue was internet that would not connect. Otherwise good room, very comfortable bed, decent value. I would recommend it conditionally depending upon your need for internet connection in room.

Tricky place to get to. Stayed one night for business. Nicely updated accommodations. Fabulous bathroom. The heat lamp in the bath was only a CFL bulb. Room had everything you could want, Fridge, Microwave, Coffee maker, Ironing equipment, USB hook ups, pull out couch.

I have stayed at this hotel approximately 5 times in the last 2 years. The employees are always very friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. Even tho it is next to the interstate, the area is very quiet and you get a good night's sleep. And, the prices are great.

Stayed 2 nights while in town visiting family. Hotel is a recycled Hampton Inn but rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and attentive. Offered a free breakfast with plenty of options including self made waffles and pancakes. Would definitely return to this hotel if in town again.

We had some problems which were taken care of immediately. All staff were friendly and helpful. Manager was easy to talk to and was just new on the job, but didn't hesitate with her decision making. Because there had been some housekeeping problems that were brought to the attention of the front desk, there was a deduction in our cost. We weren't expecting that but thought it was a very nice gesture.

The staff at this location are great! Always polite, accommodating, and more than willing to help with anything you need. Customer service is definitely unbeatable! Breakfast is definitely the best breakfast I have ever eaten in a hotel, even better than some of the top dollar hotels that serve hot breakfasts. Quiet location that is easily accessible off of a main road, but far enough away from the traffic to enjoy your stay. Absolutely would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was convenient to I-75 and there were lots of stores and restaurants in the area. The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I would happily stay here again.

Breakfast is great. Rooms are clean, and showers have really good pressure. WiFi is very slow. Check in with having to fill the credit card authorization form is a pain. That will be the reason we won't be back. Our boss keeps the credit card and doesn't stay at the hotel, he goes home every night.

I do apologize for the inconvenience during check in. Normally the credit card holder or business will fax in the credit card authorization form prior to the guest checking in. The credit card authorization form can be kept on file for future use if the card holder/business states this on the form. This is a policy we have to protect our guest and our company.

"Excellent Customer Service"

My company is renting the conference room for a few weeks and the staff has been nothing but wonderful! They have been extremely accommodating and helpful in making sure our stay for work is comfortable. Steve has popped in every morning to wish us good morning and ask if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this hotel for overnight stays or even if you are looking for a conference room to rent!

Breakfast was always hot and delicious. We used the meeting room for weeks while our office was being remodeled. Staff were always helpful and friendly with what ever we needed. Everything was clean and comfortable and couldn't ask for a better hotel to use during construction.

The hotel was very nice and conveniently located right off the highway. Our only complaint was room location. It was right off the elevator and we heard a loud ding every time the elevator came and went all night.

Was in town for a few days to visit family. Quiet area nice restaurant near by. will be back again . The property itself is clean and smells great. They also had Grag and Go bags at the front desk for those they dont have time to sit down and eat.

My boyfriend and I were traveling from NC to IL for a family emergency. We checked in 10/11 at 1am so tired. We entered our room 405 and immediately went to sleep knowing we had to be up at 4am to continue our drive. I woke up to use the bathroom as most do and see that our toilet was already used with a huge wad of toilet paper. As I looked up there was a wet already used towel on the back of the bathroom door. Neither of us showered yet or anything. I called the front desk and no one answered. I feel so gross staying here and can't help but wonder if this room was originally a stay-over but the guest who did stay in this room prior check-out early... hmm... I manage a hotel myself and this is EXTREMELY alarming. I went to desk to checkout and attempted to talk to the woman but she kept pushing me off for a male she was very persistent with.. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

My original room request was not honored. This is a good location and seemingly safe however the side exits (2) do not have keyed, coded or secured entrance making back stairs up to floors 2, 3 and 4 accessible. There was no Internet which seems to be an ongoing problem as staff confirmed it was made an issue by other guests previously. Arrive early for breakfast or you will not get any. I saw 2 rooms before I finally go settled in the 3rd which was clean and tidy. Be persistent and polite and the staff will try to accommodate.

Couldn't ask for a better night's stay. Food service clean all top notch. Convenient to shopping, highways. Staff if the hotel were all pleasant. 24/7 access to fresh coffee!!! Mictowave, fridge and coffee maker in my room. They were clean and all working without any problems. Very quiet too

Couldnt get showers to work. Room would not open. Had to switch rooms. And they knew it was stuck before assigning me. Clean and most affordable option. Good breakfast and accomodated my room change wuickly.

This was the 2nd weekend in a row we stayed at this hotel. What a great experience. The staff is incredible. We got in late at night as a large group was arriving and were nervous it would take a long time to check in. Nicole had everything ready for the group, though, and check in went quickly and smoothly. The room was so clean. We are sort of neat freaks and worry about dust. Not a speck to be found-even the top of the picture frames were dust free! Breakfast was wonderful and even though the large group was there getting breakfast, the two breakfast attendants kept everything stocked and flowing well.

Friendliest front desk staff ever! Nicole and Sarah, you rock! Also, the breakfast lady was very sweet and accommodating. There was a large sports team staying when we were there yet she handled it well and didn't run out of any food.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel two nights on a bus tour. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was very good - eggs, sausage, potatoes, pastries, etc. The hotel is a couple blocks from any restaurants, so if you don't have transportation this may be an issue for meals.

Was able to find this hotel with all the activities taking place in the Dayton, Ohio area this weekend. Hotel had several groups lodging here so breakfast was a little difficult due to the excess of lodgers arriving at the same time. Otherwise this was an excellent hotel.

Stayed here for a concert in Kettering. This is a nice Best Western in a good location. Plenty of restaurants around. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

"worst hotel we stayed in"

Our group of 51 seniors stopped here for the night. It was prearranged so not a surprise. 1st, my room a/c did not work. We were given a replacement room with an a/c that worked sometimes. There was no key for the room. Someone had to stay in the room to let in the person who went out. There was no chair in the room. There was no place to hang clothes. There was a bed and a table you had to stand up to use. I had to lay my clothes on the floor. The bathroom had no cabinet, just a small sink. I was told it was a disabled room. Have you seen any disabled people who traveled alone? Evidently they have to stay someplace else. There was no maintenance staff. Only 1 lady on duty when a tour bus arrived and was scheduled. There were no shampoo, lotion, soap, etc in the bathroom. There was 1 towel. Frankly, it was terrible. However, it appeared somewhat clean. It didn't appear anyone, anyone, had stayed there in months( this room). Breakfast in the morning was somewhat better. But only somewhat. I would not, will not stay in this hotel again. I will travel further than stay here.

Excellent service at check in & check out and help in breakfast area. Clean room, comfortable beds. Hotel was easy to find and attractive outside. Very clean and attractive lobby and hallways. I belong to another hotel rewards program, but will be using Best Western from now on whenever rooms are available. Best Western point program is the way the other program used to be.

The hotel booking agency did not know the fire code restrictions for the rooms and they were unfamiliar with the size and types of rooms this hotel had. They also booked us into a room that would not accommodate what we needed.

We tend to stay at Best Westerns when we travel because they are pretty much a known commodity. This stay was no different. The lodging was very accomodating, room clean and bed good. Staff very pleasant. Not a newer Best Western. In need of a few updates but the room pricing reflected that. Close to Hollywood Casino, Packard Museum, Air Force Museum and Wright Brothers complex not to mention University of Dayton so it is a good location to sightsee from. Good value

"Avoid this place... Security Issues... Worst Best Western we have experienced"

We booked one night at the Best Western Plus Dayton South on our way from New York to Tennessee. Normally we have good experiences at Best Western, staying at least 12 nights a year and maintaining a Platinum level membership. This hotel made me think about switching loyalty to another hotel chain. Our evening started with no hot water. We could barely get it warm. The bed slats were hanging over the bed frame by four inches - the perfect height for hitting your shins. When we tried to move them, we discovered they were screwed in placed and put together very shoddily. Finally, the door did not close on its own. You really had to tug on the door to get it closed since the door was wedged in the door frame. Still, we had a room, we got to sleep, and we thought we were safe, until... 5:45 in the morning and we all (my wife and teenage daughter) awoke to hear voices outside our door. I got up to see what was going on when all of a sudden the door opened. Yes, the door had been dead bolted, but the front desk clerk somehow opened it. I shut the door and asked what was going on. She never said anything to me. Instead, a gentleman she was with asked me for my name and said he had prepaid for this room and that we were in the wrong place. How does a front desk clerk open the door to someones room that has been deadbolted? And she was simply trusting this man's word? Unbelievable! Wait, it's not over. We tried calling the front desk to ask what just happened (remember, she never identified herself or spoke to me during the incident). There was absolutely no information in the room on how to call the front desk. No information on the phone, no notebook with local/hotel information. Nothing. We were all pretty rattled, so my wife and daughter took a quick shower (lo and behold there was hot water in the early morning hours) and we left. We stopped by the front desk and identified ourselves as the family who had been intruded on. The front desk clerk (who was wearing no identifiable Best Western name tag or clothing) was very apologetic and tried giving us a welcome gift bag of snacks as means of compensation for our trouble. We declined and left a note for the manager explaining all of the problems we experienced. We don't know if they actually received the note or not. We have called the corporate Best Western customer service and explained our problems to them. Almost two weeks later and we still have not satisfactorily been compensated. Have called corporate 3 times now. All they offered was another free night at their hotel "if they are not sold out". They couldn't pay me to stay there again. As I said in the title review... avoid this place!

The price was great, the staff very friendly and helpful, the decor very nice and good breakfast. BUT in the ways that really count they fell way short. First there was no hairdryer in the room - helpful staff found one for us. The sheets were very wrinkled and normally I wouldn't say anything but in light of the other issues just shows the lack of care. We could not get the faucet in the tub to spit out water. The helpful staff came up at 1:30 am to help us get it on - took a ton of strength which we were afraid to use in case we broke the handle. The toilet didn't flush right, ran a long time and then wouldn't flush in the morning so we had to use another room to use that toilet. Also the toilet is so low I felt like I was sitting on the floor. We noticed the door to the room was wobbly and then discovered there was no metal plate on the door jam just a hole. Finally there was a heat lamp switch but no heat bulb - just a regular small bulb. This hotel has much potential but needs some work. There was a great looking pool outside but we didn't have time to try it out. The "plus" should be taken away.

This hotel has a lot of potential, but my stay fell way short of the rating I saw when I booked. There are a lot of maintenance issues with the rooms and building overall. The staff is very good and helpful, and the breakfast is good.

The room had a foul odor, the bed was past time to be replaced. When we attempted to heat water in the microwave for breakfast tea, it blew a fuse after 45 seconds. This also put the TV out of commission. The breakfast was mediocre and insufficient even for a continental breakfast. The lobby and staff were the saving graces of this visit

After finding many hotels full I called best western reservations to see what we could find in a city ahead of us. They said that the best western in Dayton had rooms available. At first we thought that we might get lucky but no such luck. The lobby was nice and the check in clerk was ok. The room smelled musty. The room had been renovated but they left the doorway between the next room. I had no idea if it was locked on the other side. The bathroom was dirty. The toilet was so low I felt we were back in elementary school again. The shampoo bottle had been used previously and left as new. The cooling system never cooled the room. When I called the desk they told me how to reset it. It made no difference. Breakfast wasn't worth staying for.

Recently renovated hotel. Really done up right. Very clean rooms. great color scheme..everything is well coordinated..very comfortable beds. Very quiet = good night's sleep.Great location. Very close to I-675 with easy off/on...Free breakfast was our only disappointment. Scrambled eggs ??? were instant something with a texture like yellow styrofoam. Hotel 5 stars...breakfast 1 star (the bagels were good & fresh).

"Friendliest Staff in the State"

Stayed overnight at this BW Plus and found the staff to be very friendly from the moment we arrived. It had very comfortable beds and nicely furnished with free Wi-Fi. Free breakfast with a friendly person in charge who kept things replenished except she ran out of 2% milk by 9 a.m. and the breakfast was until 10:00 a.m. Everything was hot and fresh otherwise. Loved the noon checkout time. Would return again.

"Everything We Needed In A Hotel"

This was my second time staying at the Best Western Plus Dayton South. My family will likely continue to come back whenever we visit friends and family because of the reasonable price, convenient location, clean rooms (with refrigerator), friendly staff, and the pool. It's mostly about having all the things we expect a hotel room to have. The beds are firm but comfortable enough. All the table lamps have electrical outlets on their bases, which makes charging all our electronic devices a breeze. The AC works as one would expect it to work, and isn't exceptionally loud. The front desk has anything a guest might have forgotten (in our case, a toothbrush). The wifi is free. The continental breakfast is one of the better ones I've enjoyed, complete with a waffle iron, coffee and juice and milk, fixings for breakfast sandwiches, cold cereals, pastries, fruit, etc. That's not to say there aren't negative points -- luckily, though, they're not dealbreakers. For example, the pool is dated and in need of minor cosmetic repairs, and it's sometimes dirty and slippery in spots. It's also not obvious where to get beach towels (although, if there are beach towels, I suspect the front desk would have them), so we just brought our room towels. When we got back to our room and needed to hang dry our swimsuits, we discovered that the curved shower curtain rods, while nice for increasing perceived size of the shower, made drip-drying our wet things problematic, since the drips fell outside the tub area. There was also not a retractable clothesline in the shower that I could find. One of the double beds in our room was on a jerry-rigged frame, with wooden boards sticking out several inches from the bed. (I chose that bed and let my young son have the other bed.) Also -- almost not worth mentioning -- the "Guest Choice" coffee that comes in the room for use with the in-room coffeemaker is much weaker than I would have preferred. Next time I won't bother with the one-cup coffeemaker, and I'll just wait to get my coffee downstairs. As I said, though, the negative points are minor and certainly not a reason for us to seek out a different hotel next year. The Best Western Plus Dayton South is our go-to when we visit family on the south side of Dayton.

I have stayed at this particular Best Western twice while visiting family, and have always had a good experience. The quality of the amenities equals or surpasses the other moderately-priced chain motels in this area of Centerville/Miamisburg and the price is generally better. "Bad customer service"

We stayed here for my son's baseball tournament. On the first night out of five nights the smoke alarms went off and the hotel was evacuated from 11pm to 1am. Turned out to be a broken A/C unit. The smell of smoke lingered all night. When asked for compensation for the one night or the option to stay elsewhere, we were told no. The main purpose of a hotel is for somewhere to sleep when away from home, but did not get any sleep that night and my son had a game the next morning.

Stayed here quite a few times. Check in was always fast and friendly. Rooms were very cozy and well cleaned. They have a pretty good continental breakfast. It is close to quite a few places to eat. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This hotel is older/clean. I was happy that they do not allow smokers or pets as I have severe allergies/asthma. We had to evacuate in the middle of the night for over an hour due to an air conditioner melting down and filling the hallways with smoke. The hotel did not offer any vouchers or apologies for the experience. They almost charged me again but I caught them and said, " I prepaid my room."

The hotel was nice the only problem we had was the bed was really hard and there was no mattress protecting cover on the bed and the shower we couldn't get any water to come on no matter how hard we turned or pulled other than that staff was great breakfast was good we would come back if they change the mattress it was nasty I have pictures of stains on the mattress and have pics of how they had bed out together not impressive at all....

Decent sized pool, basic gym, simple but good breakfast, free fruit-infused water in lobby, friendly staff, and large rooms. I would stay here again. The carpet had recently been washed so I can't comment whether the musty smell in hallway is constant or just a temporary effect.

Chose the Best Western because of its close proximity to the Reunion site and ease of access to local freeways. Room was clean , décor was nice and everything WORKED. Parking was free and close to the entrance. Front desk called shortly after my arrival to ensure that things were satisfactory. Very pleased with my stay.

"Baseball Tournament "

Our family stayed here for a baseball tournament in the Dayton area. The hotel is showing some wear. One of the beds in our room was broken. If you sat or laid on one side the bed would almost flip over. There was a wood slat sticking out from the side of the bed. It made the bed unusable but since they were sold out there was nowhere to go. The toilet wasn't attached to the wall and every you would sit down it would move. Breakfast wasn't very good either. They had some choices but the quality wasn't there. We will not stay here again.

I booked with Blake on the phone and she was friendly, attentive and patient. When I arrived, my friend and I met Gage who was funny even at 2 am. Check-in and making the reservation was a breeze. Breakfast had good options available... the coffee was out of this world. Friendly staff, nicely appointed public area decor. Pool is open and ready to go although I didn't get a chance to use it.

The Best Western Plus and its staff are great. The unit could use a facelift and maintenance issues could be repaired in a more timely fashion. The back entrance leaks like a sieve when it rains even though THERE IS A CANOPY OVER THE ENTRANCE. The WORST problem is a SAFETY ISSUE WITH THE LEXUS DEALER ACROSS Yankee Court. They seem to FORCE THEIR EMPLOYEES TO PARK ON THE STREET, WHICH BLOCKS THE VIEW OF HOTEL CUSTOMERS ENTERING AND DEPARTING THE BEST WESTERN Plus. A VERY SERIOUS ACCIDENT WILL OCCUR THERE EVENTUALLY, IF THIS PRACTICE CONTINUES. Even SAFETY, EMERGENCY AND FIRE DEPARTMENT VEHICLES WOULD ENCOUNTER PROBLEMS, getting to the Best Western Plus, except on weekends. SOLUTION : Prohibit parking on the street, at least 10 to 12 feet from the bend in Yankee Court. SOLUTION #2 : HAVE THE LEXUS Dealer RENT PARKING SPACE from the Best Western Plus, if they cannot make room on their own lot or property for Employee parking. I also understand that the SAME LEXUS DEALER FILLS THE SIDE, Best Western Plus parking lot with cars, WHENEVER THEY FEEL LIKE IT !!!

The room was overall average for a BW. The room was a good size, but it was not all that clean. Bedspread, skirt and throw pillow all had wear and tear. The bathroom was more modern then expected, but tub faucet was tough to use. Lobby was clean but worn, generally OK. It was what I thought to be pricy. $170 for a Best Western?! In Dayton OH.

Only complaint - hard mattress. I wish hotel owners would realize the human spine is not straight and invest in memory foam or foam / gel combination mattresses. Thnk Tempur-Pedic folks.

To start with...Staff was very nice. Had to mention that they are working with what they have! No hot water 3 of 4 days. Door jams noisy...every adjacent room sounded like a bomb went off when doors opened & closed. Plumbing overflowed....toilet bowl overflowed twice! A/C was good...Bed was comfortable. Housekeeping outstanding! I would not recommend staying here. Oh yeah....the Pool was empty!

We stayed three nights for the Ham Radio Convention and things started off poorly the first morning. There wasn't hot water. The water heating system tripped offline. It was fixed a couple our s later, but because of a necessity to be at convention early, was forced to take cold shower. Second thing of issue. The air conditioning could not keep the room cool. The room temp was over 75 and didn't get cool until the outside air temp dropped. And last of all. I had some medical compression socks on top of my suitcase and the maid mistook them as trash and threw them out. The management was notified about all of these issues and I wouldn't normally write up these problems except I have never had this many issues during 3 day stay at a best western. I hope it was all just a coincidence and not the norm.

Visiting family during a major university graduation weekend forced us to choose BW. When we got there we had several issues and the hotel needs some updating. Fridges without frozen over units with hair inside Blankets that don't have stains on them and were thicker than a sheet Ceilings that don't leak Showers that don't look like they need a redo Room doors that don't look like someone tried to break in at some point Internet wi-if that I don't have to call the wifi company myself (vs the hotel itself calling) to talk for 30 mins to get wifi Better sound proofing between rooms so I don't have to hear the other occupants coughs, farts and conversation. Our Fridge was frozen over the units with a frozen hair inside. A blanket had stains on them and were not thicker than a sheet. Our bathroom ceiling started to leak and you could tell it was. It the first time. We had to move rooms because of this with two small kids. A big pain. The bathroom had granite but the Showers need a redo among other things. The Room doors that look like someone tried to break in at some point. Internet wi-if stopped working so I had to spend 30 mins on the phone vs the front desk to get it fixed. And it was not my devices problem. Better sound proofing between rooms so I don't have to hear the other occupants coughs, farts and conversation. Disappointed in this BW.

Check in was fine. We could not get the card key to open the door. Asked staff person to open it. She opened it by pulling the handle up. Not acceptable. We finally received another room. Luggage cart was broken. Told they only have one. You must walk tree steps down into a breakfast dining area. The breakfast serving area is not where the dining tables are located. Not too great for handicapped. (There are two tables off the hallway on the same level of serving area). Breakfast menu limited for a Best Western PLUS. Room was large. Comfortable bed. Limited space for personal care items on sink counter. No African American hair care products.

"Disappointing & No Tip for Housekeeping"

Stayed 5/5 & 5/6 for a family event (1st floor & 4th floor). We made our reservations here as I liked what I read from past guests, but I will not stay here again. The three of us were very disappointed in our rooms. Other family members stayed at The Days Inn and had no complaints, guess we should have stayed there. The heating unit was loud when running. Breakfast on Saturday, they ran out of forks, we had to eat eggs and sausage with a spoon. The Decaf coffee had many grounds in the beverage. Saturday morning there was no hot water, guests had to wait until 10 AM to shower. When we returned to our room Saturday night, we found watermarks still on the mirror, hairs in the sink and tub. The bed was made, but not to any hotel standards, as the sheet, blanket and cover were not tightly drawn. It reminded us of an 8 yr old pulling the cover over their bed. Housekeeping should clean along side the bed, nightstand and sofa. I found food crumbs and paper in these places. Dusting should be done every time a guest checks out. We moved the TV guide on the shelf under the TV and could see where that sheet of paper laid. My sister-in-law showed us her room, the shelf under the sink was 'very' dusty. I know the rooms are sound-proof, but I woke up Saturday morning (5 AM) and thought someone was our bathroom showering. The noise was that loud. I hope the hotel management speaks to housekeeping.

Since our room was in the back of the hotel, ground floor we parked back there and there was NO key lock on the back door. Came and left at will. This hotel is close to many very nice restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice Centerville is. We ate at Sweeney Seafood and Lock 27 Brewery. Both great dining spots but there are many others. The hotel is also convenient to Dayton attractions.

Easy, location to locate near the freeway off ramp. I left a personal item behind in the facility and was immediately called on my cell phone to return and retreive the item. Staff went out of their way to make our time at the motel a comfortable experience. Room was extremely clean and quiet. I would recommend this motel to anyone and everyone. I am a Best Western Rewards member and will continue to seek them out when traveling.

"Drip, Drip, Ew"

Bathtub dripped 24 hours, mini fridge was warm and replaced with a very smelly, non-functional mini fridge, the beds are terrible. One sheet and a paper thin blanket with short, super thick foam pillows that don't allow your head to lie down, so it's either sleep propped up or without a pillow. Hotel itself smelled musty everywhere and the walls are so thin you can hear every word said in the rooms near you. I was there 3 nights and without sleep for all 3. Breakfast was purchased muffins and the waffles wouldn't have been bad if the fruit and butter for the waffles weren't ice cold. The blueberries were literally frozen, canned blueberries. We left and went elsewhere for breakfast. Lots of places nearby.

Although the rooms were somewhat small, this hotel was a good value and very near a number of restaurants and shopping opportunities. I had a small issue with my key card not working the second day, but that was taken care of very quickly. The staff is very professional and friendly!

Mary at the front desk have exemplified customer service by always finding a solution to every problem and going above and beyond whenever possible. For example Mary offered to put my laundry in one of the hotel machines and when I went down to pick it up I was delighted to see she had folded my t shirts and hung up my pants and dress shirts. It made me feel very appreciated as a guest and very grateful for my over all experience with all of the Best Western staff!!

We stayed here for a soccer tourament and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean this hotel was. The staff was excellent and very helpful!! The beds were a little small but I thought it was very comfortable along with the pillows.

Very good hotel and price. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast changed little, but was glad some fresh fruit was available. Management, not staff, seems to want to save on energy and keep hotel at 62-64 degrees F (15 degrees C) in the main lobby and floors. It was cold and staff had to keep jackets/coasts on. No issue in room, since we could regulate the temperature. This is ht only negative.

I spent a night at this BW in Dayton, Nice hotel, easy to get to of the Hwy. The hotel appeared to be well maintained and was clean in the public areas. The room to was clean as was the bathroom. My only disappointment was the mattress, it was just plain uncomfortable..! time to replace?

Problems with taps shower controls broken chairs bathroom doors that wouldn't close & Wi Fi service that was acting up. The staff however tried it's best under trying circumstances! The breakfast was probably one of the best that we have experienced in our travels.

Stayed here for Family weekend at University of Dayton. It was about 12 mins from campus but not a difficult drive. Average hotel, with outdated rooms, but remodeled bathroom. Breakfast was included and was your average breakfast. Price was reasonable which is the reason we had booked this hotel. I wold stay here again if nothing else was available but if I had other options I would take it.

We had this room booked for a company trip so this was not a personal choice. It smelled of mothballs or some chemical as you walk in. After we checked in and went to dinner we returned and were not able to get into our room 2 nights in a row. The bathroom was not cleaned properly either of the days we were there. The breakfast and kitchen area were a joke. There were several bugs flying around the food drspite there being several fly strips hanging in plain site. Carpet very dirty and lobby area was run down. Needs updating

A bit awkward to locate once off the interstate, but nice motel with most adequate rooms and a nice breakfast.. The shower hardware takes some muscle to operate; other than that nice stay in a basic motel setting.

The hotel was nice, clean and close to our family. The only down side was their breakfast selection. We were expecting better quality of hot selections (and some of the serving plates were empty) even if we did arrive at breakfast towards the end of the breakfast time.

Hotel was clean. Rooms were adequately decorated. No desk chair or sitting chair. Bed was standard rock hard that you see in Best Western's hotels. Breakfast looked good but we opted to have brunch locally. Plenty of shopping nearby.

We were in town for the Air Force Marathon and a visit to the Air Force Museum. The staff at this hotel were phenomenal! They were always smiling and willing to help. My hands were full and the fourth floor housekeeper dashed over to push the elevator button and then waited to push the floor button! (September 17 2pm ?). Breakfast was very good and the cook nice. Pam at the front desk was awesome. This hotel is reasonably priced. Smelled and looked clean. Worth the extra few miles for the service and savings.

This place have seen better days. The cleanliness is no longer there. The furniture sin the room were filled with stains. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom had mold and stains in the tub - looks like someone forgot to do their job. Exterior safe to walk around late at night. Breakfast was disgusting. There was nats flying all over the place. So many, they had to place a fan in the breakfast area so they don't get into the food (didn't work). Eggs were alway watery. Juice dispenser smells due to lack of cleaning. Very disappointed.

Arrived a bit late at around 9:30 pm, the staff was friendly, and our room was ready for us. The AC was on, quiet, and the room was cool. Very clean and welcoming. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, all were there. The mattress of the king size bed was comfortable, pillows were soft, enticing a good night's sleep. Woke up in the morning refreshed. The breakfast was a bit disappointing though, the ham was too dry and the pre-prepared cheese omelette was also too dry. Not at par compared to other Best Westerns we stayed before. Would have given five stars if it did. All in all, a good night's stay.

The employees were very pleasant and helpful. When we arrived in the afternoon of July 29th, there was one person checking people in. As she worked steadily to get us checked two other people walked up needing checking in. Another employee, I assume although she was dressed in slacks and what looked like a man's undershirt walked up behind the desk and started using a computer and talking to the person doing the checking in. She completely ignored the customers waiting. I think that she may have been from the housekeeping staff but it was very unprofessional to be working at the front desk if she is not front desk staff. Another issue we had was that our electronic key card had to be reactivated three times even though we were booked for 10 days and did not make any changes.

I loved the helpfulness of the staff, and the price we received for the room. Not that the hotel had much control over this but both nights we were there there were people drinking in the lot and intoxicated, made my wife uncomfortable. Breakfast was not at all decent and we ended up going out, but again we were still very pleased with the staff and the value.

A friend and I stayed here for one night on our way east. Upon check in, the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Our room, 404, was clean and comfortable but the beds were a little on the small side. The rate for our stay was about $92. The shower had better water pressure than most hotels. The towels were good and fluffy. Our room faced the back of the building so we didn't hear any noise from the nearby highway. This hotel was easy to get to from the highway. I would stay here again if I return to Dayton.

I spent four nights here.The rates are too high for Best Western. Front desk staff is shabbily dressed and visiting friends or on their cell phones. Room was not clean. Broken desk chair that I requested be replaced twice and was never addressed. Breakfast very so so with no fruit. Exercise room has no AC and exercise bike is broken. The bed is great but everything else was below average or poor. I have been here several times before but not again.

Room appeared to be part way though remodel, bathroom had some new fixtures but the shower was old and the ceiling had old patches and stains of a older hotel. Sleeping area was nicely appointed but the bedding was too small for the bed so you pulled the covers off each other and typical of an old hotel not of the newer Best Westerns.

i arrived at the Dayton Inn South on a Friday before Memorial Day. It was a little hard to find but after a few extra turns we arrived. The lobby was OK and the staff was cordial. It took a few minutes to get us registered and receive our room key. The room was good and had been just remodeled recently. The room was clean and the bathrrom was large and well appointed. The sink in the bathroom wash in a corner and very spacious with a large mirror.The only room problem was that the ac took awhile to make the room comfortable Getting around outside of the hotel was nice. Lots of things to do in the area. Our breakfast was ok , nothing special but ok. The pool was filled with blown plant pieces (seed pods). So it was uninviting and was that way for the remainder of the weekend. The hotel was just recently remodeled and all the common area light fixtures just did not fit into the old light fixtures, which made it look unfinished. The staff was very accommodating and was a little overwhelmed but responded the best they could. I guess the biggest question is would I stay there again. I probably would give them a second chance. The location was good for us. The room was comfortable and cleean and the price was good.

You name it from mold on shower curtain to wet towels to being awaken at midnight by the fire alarm going off. The check-in process in itself included: frustrated staff, unfriendly, cursing in front of children. The beds are not there for sleep. They need a serious upgrade. I didn't sleep entire stay. So if you can get past the rude staff, mold in the room, damp towels and blaring fire alarms in the middle of the night with a bed that has to be about 2 decades old, then I suggest you book at your earliest convenience. If you are like me and travel, and would like to receive at least the minimum of customer service (polite staff) please take the time and select another hotel. There are plenty others nearby.

I booked this for my daughter and her family as they had come to NY for a visit. Everything was great including the checkin, comfort, breakfast, etc. The only exception was an 11 pm fire drill which is a necessity but after they had driven 9+ hours... it was a bit of an inconvenience.

The location of this hotel is great in relation to museums and downtown Centerville. The rooms were clean and pretty and perfect for our needs. My only problem was the fitted sheet on both beds didn't fit and kept coming off. Overall though we had a very nice trip with this hotel contributing positively to it.

I have traveled all over the US and world, and this by far was the worse hotel experience I have encountered. Poor room cleaning, noisy, just plain BAD. I had times when the room wasn't cleaned until after 6pm, averaged being done around 4pm. Now, you would think that they knew i was there for 4 weeks, they would have my room cleaned and ready for me right away. That is the problem, seemed their idea of cleaning was to change towels and make the bed, that's it. I had to ask them to change bedding every week, I had to ask them to vacuum the room every few days. the never did mop the bathroom floor. Seemed Mgt just wanted to collect my payment. The food for breakfast, POOR quality. One morning the milk was sour. I could not recommend this hotel, unless they make remarkable improvement.

Highly disappointed in Best Western. Stayed here on 5/19 for our friends wedding which we prepaid for our room. Upon arrival the room we booked had been given out and we had to downgrade, which wasn't a problem. However the price difference in the rooms which was around $90 I was told would be refunded back to my account. It's been over a month and I have reached out 5 times now for my refund and still have not gotten any action taken. Each time I get told that they will solve it and I will get a call the next day. Lies. I don't recommend staying here, save yourself the trouble.

The couple working the breakfast area were very friendly. The orange juice tasted like orange juice and the coffee was remarkable! We received our receipt at check in but turned in our keys at the end of our stay anyway. We were offered water for the road. The lady checking us in was super as was the lady checking us out. Great job at this location!

Seems to be a very popular place! After a long day on the road, we were extremely tired and needed a place to sleep. The hotel was fully booked with graduations and others, but we were lucky that while talking to the desk person, someone called to cancel. Our stay was quiet and comfortable. Parking was conveniently close and the hotel has elevator access to the rooms. Breakfast (hot and cold) was also provided. Totally enjoyed our stop here. Oh, and reasonably priced too.

"Slow Internet, Problems with Reservations and One Slow Front Desk Person"

Rooms were OK. Due to change in travel plans we had to get an extra night through separate reservation as our existing res was prepaid through Priceline which allowed change only with hefty surcharge. Thus we booked direct (called) with hotel and was told that it would be no problem to add the additional day to our existing reservation. We wanted to add to the existing res to preclude moving rooms. Of course after traveling 2 hours from SE Ohio we arrived to find that this same room request was not passed on to the oncoming Front desk person. Result we had to move rooms and followup with the Manager the next day to find our existing Priceline res. Move from a king (3rd floor) to twin doubles (4th floor) and as a result lost floor space and suffered drastic wireless signal degradation. Breakfast was OK but it was disheartening to see the egg patties and sausages in the large plastic bag in the opened utility room next to the buffet table; someone should have closed the door. Overall the hotel was "gritty" and conversations with the room cleaners indicated that they were short staffed resulting in long hours and tired looking people.

Hotel is newly renovated. Plenty of parking. Clean and quiet. Has refrigerator and microwave in the room. The desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the expected serve yourself with waffles, toast, fruit, cereal, eggs and sausage. I stay here every year and it has improved since the renovation and Plus designation.

The room was clean and modern including a larger than usual refrigerator and a microwave oven. However, the lack of an in-room safe was disappointing even though safe deposit was available at the front desk. The front desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful. The included breakfast was disappointing. Eggs and sausage were barely lukewarm. The sausage patties were very greasy, and sausage links contained a lot of filler - probably bread. Pastries were not fresh and appeared to be a day or more old. The orange juice dispenser on the juice machine was "out of order" during the entire 4-night stay.This breakfast was definitely below the usual standard for Best Western Plus. I've stayed at Best Western Plus properties before, and expected a much better breakfast. Since I was required to guarantee incidental charges with a credit card, when checking-out, I requested a statement showing that nothing extra was charged to my card, The response at the front desk was that they're not able to give me the requested statement. I've never been refused a final statement print-out before and find this refusal to be unacceptable.

Check-in was fast and easy with friendly efficient clerk. Room was small but clean. Bathroom was clean , internet was good, breakfast was typical BUT Heat lamp in bathroom ceiling (on wall timer) had been removed and replaced with cool white, bright cold LED lightbulb. Bathroom door would not latch so would not stay closed and could not be locked, hardware on both doors of wardrobe was broken so it was difficult to close doors and keep them closed, hardware on top drawer below TV was broken so difficult to open and close drawer, soft water made bathtub extremely slippery and no bath mat provided, side door into parking lot had NO security lock and was left unlocked all night so anyone could simply walk into the building and have access to the rooms. I rented this room for my brother and I. The price was great and it was right off the highway. There didn't seem to be a lot of parking, but it wasn't busy. It was a really quiet hotel. The only thing that was not ideal was the bathroom door wouldn't shut unless you shoved it, but that was okay.

We gave this hotel more 10's than any before. The Check-in clerk (at a late hour) gave us chips and bottled water. I interviewed a couple of maids, and they were happy and liked the people with whom they worked. Hotel is in great shape, everything worked, and we were very pleased.

This hotel is my regular resting place when visiting the Dayton area for either business or personal reasons. It is conveniently located at I-675 and OH-725 - just east of the Dayton Mall. The hotel is attractively landscaped and well maintained by a caring, friendly and professional staff that exudes interest in caring for guests. The hotel is located far enough away from the roads to provide a quiet night's sleep. The internet functions very well. There is an adequately equipped fitness center and an outdoor swimming pool used during summer months. This hotel is an exceptional value for the level of service provided. I formerly stayed at one of the hotels west of the Dayton Mall but have switched to this hotel as my regular Dayton are "home away from home."

We booked this the night before arriving, and we were assured this was a "plus" hotel. Arrival experience was very good, friendly, helpful front desk staff. Room was just average but clean. The bed sagged in the middle. when we tried to go to bed the fitted sheet would not stay on the mattress. No matter how hard we tried it kept coming off the minute we put any pressure on the mattress. making it very hard to get a good nights sleep. When we returned from dinner the door handle would not work properly, we had to pump it like a well or could not get in.

We just stayed at this hotel for a long weekend with our winter drum line. We were somewhat noisy, but well behaved. This hotel went above and beyond to accommodate us. Clean, newly remodeled and quiet. The breakfast left a little to be desired, but at least it was offered.

There's a serious communication problem between the front desk and manager here. I reserved 4 rooms at a group rate. When I arrived in Dayton I called to see if early check-in was possible, told it was not but that my rooms were reserved and we could check in at any time. At 3:50PM I got a call that there was apparently no credit card on the reservation and that I needed to call before 4PM to keep my room, only 10 minutes of lead time! I immediately drove to the hotel, calling both the front desk and back office no less than 8 times while in-transit. No one answered at either number. When we arrived I was told our rooms were sold and that we had to be reassigned new rooms that didn't meet our reservation criteria. So it seems they know how to take the reservations, but do not know how to hold the reservations.

The hotel was very crowded with youngsters in Dayton for a competition. The desk clerks seemed worn out. Our beds in two rooms were not serviced however the bathrooms were serviced. The breakfast room was continuously packed and everyone had to stand in long lines. The waffle machine was sticking and the timer was not working. Saturday morning they served rubber scrambled eggs and equally poor sausage. The bananas were too green to eat.

We were in town visiting a sick relative. After driving 10 hours we checked in and the front desk agent was very nice and helpful. The hotel itself looked nice. When we got into the room it was like another hotel. First of all, the door itself was broken. It did lock, but I'm not sure how hard it would have been to break into. We got a king with a pull out couch. The bed was clean, but quite uncomfortable. The couch was dirty, but the pull out was ok. We didn't have a pillow or blankets for the couch though. We had a pack and play which made the room feel much smaller. The bathroom was not the cleanest, but not unusable either. The shower was hard to use, they even have to explain it at check in. Breakfast was good, the hotel was very busy and the breakfast stayed well stocked. Again the employees were very helpful and pleasant. We left at 10 AM for the day and when we got back at 7 the room hadn't been cleaned. We had already decided to leave early and start driving home, but if the room had been more comfortable we may have stayed the second night. I wouldn't stay here again. Again every employee we spoke with was wonderful,but the hotel needs a lot of improvement. My only guess is we got a room that's rarely used, but because of how busy it was they had to put us there.

Upon entering the room I immediately noted that the curtain was closed and it was moving. I pulled back the curtain to make sure that the window was not open - it was not - it was just such an old window that the air was rushing in through the cracks and seams. The room needed a good scrubbing. There was debris on the clock radio, TV stand and desk. The refrigerator did not work and the heat lamp in the bathroom did not work. The headboard needed wiped down, the mirrors needed wiped off and the bathroom cabinets needed dusted. The door between the shared rooms was missing so there was just a door on the other side - I hoped that no one staying in the room next door would enter during the night.

What a wonderful hotel. Everything I saw when I came to this website to check it out before I went was accurate. The recent renovations are really nice. I had not one thing I could honestly say I didn't like about the hotel. Clean, pretty, very friendly staff (thank you Jill and I believe Michelle?) . The entire staff the three and a half days our group was there were wonderful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel for business, family or overnight stays. You will be happy. Comfortable, clean, nice rooms with all the amenities you could need. Thank you~!

When I stayed at the Best Western PLUS Dayton South, I found myself driving past all the other hotels located at the freeway exit. I was delighted to find the BW PLUS Dayton South down the road, in a quieter location, with very pleasant welcoming staff. The accommodations were comfortable and breakfast was served neatly and with all sides needed. I highly recommend this hotel to travellers.

We stayed here recently for 3 nights. Desk chair height and back adjustment was broken and was only 12" off the floor. I asked if they could swap one out so i could work. Front desk told me they had new ones in the back and would assemble one for me. It never happened. I guess they felt a 12 inch high sitting position is fine for their guests. Was like sitting in a hole. Also the heat was controlled by the front desk and at times it was completely shut off. I froze some mornings! The King bed we had was awful. Worn out terribly and I awoke with backaches each day. Slept horribly. Hallways always noisy with loud drunken people late every night of our stay. We complained to no avail. Breakfast was horrendous, I mean downright disgusting. Powdered salt ridden tasteless eggs, unidentifiable pseudo meats which I wouldn't feed to my dog ( they actually had chopped up hotdogs one morning as a breakfast meat! yuck!), tasteless waffle mix so lumpy it wouldn't pour. Bagels and english muffins were OK as was individual yogurts, but this is a BEST WESTERN PLUS and advertises full hot breakfast! What a joke. There is nothing PLUS at all about this dump. Yes, the rooms are somewhat remodeled with new cheesy masonite furniture, and there was a small sofa bed with coffee table in the room, that i used to work on in leu of the busted desk chair.. Bathroom seemed to be remodeled recently and had a good shower head. But the other aspects and the staffs complete lack of concern for guests made this a dump. You might better stay at ECONOLODGE or a DAYS INN. There is nothing PLUS about this place! BW has a lot of nerve advertising it as such! This is no 3 star hotel. I say its 2 star at best. Also, place seems to be full of highway contractors that are noisy late and early. Seems they have some deal with their Dept of Transportation for providing sleeping accommodations for road workers. I'd recommend trying the Country Inn by Carlson, just down the road or a higher end place nearer the Miamisburg or the downtown Dayton area. I wish I had, but this location was best for our event. This is the last Best Western I ever stay in ! My back still hurts a week later!

We stayed at the hotel due to a death in the family. The rooms were very clean and the hotel staff very friendly and accommodating.. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was okay, the second morning the food had ran out and we had to wait for more to be put out.

When I checked in, later than I wanted I admit, the front desk person was wearing only an undershirt. I found that odd, but maybe he spilled something on himself. Other that that he was very polite and business like. What I did not like was all the people hanging out in the parking lot outside the back doors. You can't smoke in the hotel, but apparently you can sit on the stairs giving hard looks at customers to the only rear entrance as people try to bring their luggage in. If you are going to do that though make sure you are smoking a huge blunt while doing so. Daylight banished the boogey men in the back parking lot. Breakfast was ok, then we got the heck out of town.

We got in fairly late but the staff was expecting us and check in was easy - rooms were clean and breakfast was great. I found a big difference in quality in this BW Plus and the BW we stayed in KY earlier in the week. The quality of breakfast at this BW Plus was great.

good bed. Very clean. No TV program guide and no help with it. Breakfast is the regular free breakfast with no surprises and nothing special about it. Not bad but not noteworthy. Staff does not dress well and is preoccupied with cell phone, smoking outside and personal friends visiting them. They were very nice but rarely ready to serve your need.

"Unsafe: Avoid Until Changes Are Made"

You are not safe here. We were floored with the lack of safety at this hotel. We returned from dinner around 10 pm and found the exterior door near the north end (not anywhere near the front entrance) cracked open. There was a sign that said, "use room card to open" but there was no means to do so nor any need since the door was cracked. In fact, once we were in we tried to close the door but it would not close. I called the front desk right away and they told me they would not do anything about it...it was policy to leave ALL the exterior doors unlocked all night. The front desk worker was sympathetic and even said she felt "unsafe" as well yet she had no authority to lock the doors. Please do not stay here until the manager changes the policy. Ask when you reserve the room if there is a change in policy. You are not safe here. The room, shower and breakfast was perfectly fine for the price. The corners of the king size bed were not supported so if you sit on the corner to put on your shoes, the bed will collapse under you.

The Lobby was clean and the Front Desk Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff kept the room clean during our stay. Breakfast had both hot and cold items and my kids liked making the pancakes. The had a nice selection of bread items and the selection of juice was nice for the whole family. The breakfast staff kept the tables clean and asked if they could assist us. The check out was easy and they asked if we needed any other service before leaving. Overall it was a great stay.

I love the Best Western brand because it's reliable for clean, well appointed accommodations and friendly, efficient staff. This BW is distinguished by THE BEST shower system (rain effect and hand held option as well) I've found in any BW. Well located off the major highways, close to lots of restaurants and shopping, I'd highly recommend this location to business and leisure travelers.

Stayed in town to visit my family, This hotel is in Centerville right by the Dayton mall, very convenient, a lot of restaurants too. The room was very big and nice. Bathroom looks updated . I had breakfast too which included a lot of variety. Great stay and very nice stuff.

I am Best Western Diamond elite this was a free room. I was in town for family. I received over 30 bed bug bites the problem got worse because I did not get the rash until 4 days after checkout. I called the mgr Veronica she said that they did not have this problem and would get back to me, she never did I called BWI they never got back with me either. I called the city health inspectors they confirmed moderate infestation. I may have brought this things home. I am in the process of trying to sue the mgr personally. She still had the room in service spreading evil . I hope she gets worse then bed bugs.

The major issue I had with the stay was there was no check-in/front-desk staff at 9PM on Oct 23rd 2015. I had to wait 15 min or so for a guy who does maintenance at the hotel to show up and apologize for the absence of front-desk staff. Kudos to him that he was able to check us in without issues even though he was not trained in the front desk duties. Otherwise the hotel looks neat and clean. The free hot waffles and coffee for breakfast make the start of the day enjoyable. This was my genuine experience at this hotel and everything stated here is what happened and not exaggerated & I have no intentions of defaming this establishment for my personal benefit.

Stayed here over the weekend while in town for a soccer tournament. I want to say that this hotel is better than average, it just wasn't worthy of very good. It's a Best Western, not a Marriott. But, my family and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was very clean, including the bathrooms. The staff we encountered all weekend was very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was good and the staff actually started the breakfast an hour earlier than normal on the weekend to accommadate the early soccer games. The only negative with the hotel would be the size of the beds. They are double beds I guess so two normal sized adults still make for cramped sleeping. But, I have not problem recommending for other people to stay here when visiting Dayton.

This is one of the worst experiences that I have had at staying at in a Bestwestern Hotel ever ! The room had no Blanket in it should it get cold at night, the handicap shower flooded the bathroom (management is aware of this), No-one at front desk in morning for awhile ,could not eat breakfast for all teens sitting around playing on I-pads. Would not ecommend stayin here in the future to my friends!!!

Our son goes to UD and we've stayed here twice now. Overall an OK experience. Definitely a bit dated, but not offensively so. Rooms are fine, bathrooms OK. Minimal amenities in bathroom. Bed pillows are awful. I hate to say that, but the worst I've experienced. Breakfast just OK. Fresh fruit would be nice. Not really laid out well but that's me I guess. Staff all very pleasant. Check in and check out easy. Not sure I'd stay again though - better choices nearer to school - but the price was right so who knows?

We stayed here for one night and had a good experience except for the cold shower the next morning - boiler had broken down and service had been ordered but not in time to save us and several other guests from getting a cold shower - morning clerk gave us extra reward points for our inconvenience which was appreciated. Overall, we would stay here again if we ever come through this area in the future.
