"You get what you pay for"
The pool was not working. The room was fair for the price, but there were amenities in the restroom that were broken. The hairdryer had to be unplugged. It would not turn on or off or switch from low to high, and the shower was only able to be placed on the ADA rod because the regular holder was broken. Breakfast the first day was lukewarm and not appetizing the second day we were not able to eat because it closed at nine on a Sunday.

"Furst time I every refused to stay at a hotel and left"
Southeast Kansas was under heat advisories and when we checked going into the room at 8:30PM, we found that the AC was turned off. The thermostat showed the temperature as 90 degrees. We turned on the AC, but knew the room would take many hours to cool down and went to the desk. The clerk said the owner tells housekeeping to turn off the AC when they finish cleaning a room (at the Kansas/Oklahoma border in July!). The clerk said there was just one room which might be cooler. We checked. It was 86 and smelled like cigarette smoke as well. It wasn't like they didn't know we were coming. We had a reservation.

"Don't Stay Here"
The side door right next to our room was I clocked our entire stay. When I voiced my concern for safety/security, I was told they leave it unlocked so people can go in and out. I expressed that you should be a patron of the hotel with a key card to enter the hotel and their response is “that is just how they do it” referring to leaving it unlocked. The door slammed all night long with people going in and out.

"Pass this one up"
I would pass this hotel up until they teach their staff how to clean and update to make sure everything they offer actually works. Their pool was out of order, our room was unclean, and it wasn't just us we talked to 3 other guests and theirs was worse then ours.

"horrible"
given a room that was already occupied and then a dirty room after that. the front desk lady was not friendly and very unprofessional. didn't even apologize for any of it and when I called to report what had happened the same thing happened. I would not stay here again and I would advice anyone else to look at the hotel next door

"Worse stay ever."
The SureStay in Coffeyville Kansas is to be avoided. Not clean, smelled of urine in the side entrance, that had a bad card reader, so anyone can get in. The pool was not great at all. The breakfast seems to be set out once and the food is probably better at McDonald's. Our room had a dirty carpet, once never touched by housekeeping, even though we left the door card out asking for service, the mini fridge was not very clean and the freezer was severely iced over. So, no... we won't be staying there again.

"Good value"
Great breakfast and wonderful staff. I'm an older woman traveling alone and, always feel safe staying at the Best Western brand hotels. Value is best in town for what you get. I have stayed in some of the others in town. Easy parking and elevator. No problems.
"BED BUGS FOUND"
MULTIPLE BED BUGS FOUND - ROOM 119 - 5/29/2022 I checked in on Sunday, May 29th, 2022, and went up to room 119 with my wife and daughters. Within 60 seconds I found 2 bed bugs on the right-side bed close to the pillow by the nightstand and 1 bed bug on the nightstand. We immediately left the room and told the young lady at the front desk. She apologized and told me she would tell the owner and that I wouldn't be charged. The next day I called and talked to a man and he too assured me they would refund me. The day after I noticed the charge was still on my credit card statement. I called again and this time spoke to someone who identified himself as the owner. This man told me I was wrong and there were no bed bugs. This was obviously not true. He still refused to give me a refund and hung up on me. I contacted corporate at Best Western and informed them of the experience. A little later the man who identified himself as the owner of the hotel called me back and told me he would issue a refund. We'll never be back. Everything about this hotel was a nightmare.

"Exceptionally clean!"
Excellent hotel for this price. We found our room to be extremely clean and neat. We had no complaints about the cleanliness of the bathroom either. I would most definitely book here again if I was ever back in this area.
"Dalton Gang"
Had to find a place last minute this place worked for us. Rooms are very big and seemed newly remodeled. Very clean and everything worked. Staff was super friendly. They rent out the conference room and called to see if it was bothering us and they would move us if so. Thought that was nice but we weren't bothered and the conference was done by 2130. The free buffet breakfast was great. They excepted pets so that was a saving grace as it was getting late and other hotels we checked did not. Had to drive an extra hour but worth it. A lot to do in the area. Will stay again if in the area. Added this place to our saved hotels. Only one thing kept this from a five star the HVAC unit was really noisy and woke me up a couple times. Tv channels and wifi were also great.

When I'm traveling through this area I always choose this hotel. Super convenient to get to, easy parking, and right across from a great Mexican restaurant. I travel with my dog and they a huge area out back to go for walks and play fetch. Nice staff and everything is clean!
"clean and friendly"
hotel and room were clean, staff was friendly, generally well-stocked. pool was EXTREMELY cold (to be fair, it was october but its an indoor pool) and hot tub was barely body temp. also there was no shower curtain in our bathroom, but plenty of towels to clean up the mess. overall, a good stay, and even tho it was cold, the kids were satisfied with the pool. :)
"Rare find"
Kind, warm and welcoming desk staff. Impeccably clean from lobby to the room. Comfy bed. Strong net. Quiet environment. Very pleasant stay. And price was wonderful. Will seek out these hotels on next trip.
"Hit a deer"
Had to stay overnight unexpectedly after hitting a deer. So glad to find a place that was pet friendly. Front desk was so helpful and kind. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Had a good night's rest even under stress.
"Cross country trip"
Front desk person, Colton, a kind efficient young man. Upholstery on chairs could use a professional cleaning. The shower head had a pin hole that shot water over the shower curtain onto the floor, it was late so we cleaned the water up and improvised but did report issue on check out. They could use a new washer and dryer in guest laundry, but they work.

"Clean, great breakfast, A safe location"
Great hotel for the price. Loved the roll in shower which kept me from happen to try to step over a tub with my disabilities. Great full breakfast. Clean room, comfortable beds. Really appreciated the oversized refrigerator and having a microwave and coffee pot in the room. Management at the front desk was very kind.

"Great Hotel! Great property! Great Service!"
Room was outstanding. Clean, updated, comfortable, and well equipped. Hotel rate was super. Staff friendly, and very accommodating, a welcome change from many customer service experiences these days! We arrived a few minutes late for breakfast, and the owner brought the stuff b ack out for us! Thank you! Internet service was fast, reliable and no disconnects! location is great too, whether passing through or for an extended stay. Outstanding experience all the way around. couldn't recommend more!

Clean room and friendly staff. Staff was very helpful when we had trouble with our key. Pool was closed. Breakfast was pitiful. No milk for cereal. Over all it was a pleasant stay. Beds were comfortable

As someone who travels every week, it was wonderful, for the first time in roughly six months, to be treated to a real egg, bacon, toast and trimmings breakfast in lieu of the now-ubiquitous grab-n-go bag.

Clean rooms , excellent general manager and staff . Nice pool remodel. I was concerned about where to park my car but the general manager switched my room location so I could see my vehicle from the window of my room.

Was in Coffeyville working a job for 2.5 months and this Best Western fit all my needs, CLEAN, helpful staff and close to my work. I have never been unhappy with booking at Best Western; an affordable middle of the road hotel that is always Clean with pleasant staff with amenities that suit my needs.
"Breakfast was great hot water was not 70% of the time"
Breakfast was great and so was the staff. Room was ok, ac worked great and had a large tv. Carpet was needing to be replaced and only had hot water 30% of the time. I let management know and they confirmed it twice by coming to my room to check it out. I asked for some extra points because of the situation and they said no.

I can only say that it was adequate. It was somewhat clean and the bed was average.The walls are thin. The person in the room next to me had their TV on all night and I could hear it a clear as could be. Also, I could hear the road very clear. The staff was nice.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Immaculate King room with very nice micro and fridge, nice breakfast each morning, with a full selection of alternatives- both hot and cold. And each of the staff I encountered was kind and personable. I could not have asked for better! "Stay at sutestay"
Really nice ,clean rooms..I drive a tanker truck hauling liquid oxygen..was in coffeyville to get loaded..surestay is the only hotel I stay in when I'm in coffeyville.the breakfast was hot and good..the staff was nice and helpful

stayed for a womens conference. I have stayed here several times. The staff is always great, very helpful. We never have any troubles and everyone sleeps well! We will be back again! very quite rooms. breakfast was good. except the bisquits were just ok. but otherwise the food was awesome!

"Safe/Clean"
Nice, safe, relaxing hotel. Employees were exceptional in satisfying requests, questions, and local geography. No noise was heard from neighboring rooms or doors! Bed was luxuriously appointed. Breakfast exceeded expectations!!

"Best Motel in Town For The Price"
The selection for breakfast is great between hot to cold foods. The biscuits and gravy is my favorite. The King size bed to sleep on leaves me rested the next morning and ready to go. I like to rest in the evening in the hot tub or go for a refreshing swim in the pool. The staff also makes cookies for me around 3:00 PM so I can have a snack. I am hooked on this motel since they take such great care of me.

"Home away from home"
Other places claiming to offer breakfast need to come here. The cleanliness of the rooms, comfort of the beds, pet friendly, and helpful staff are enough to keep you coming back. But SureStay is an excellent value because breakfast has many options to satisfy the entire family. If that was not enough, warm cookies in late afternoon make you think you are a kid again coming home from school.

"Very nice hotel"
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a wide variety of options including protein items, which we appreciated. The room was nice and clean. My kids played in the pool and they loved it.

Stopped over for one night. Chose this hotel due to high rating here on Trip Adviser. Am very impressed with how friendly the staff is and how clean the property is. Our room was next to the breakfast room, so a little noisy in the morning, but certainly not a deal breaker.

Not sure why the name changed to a different Best Western brand, but I could not tell any difference and we had a great stay just like always. Great breakfast, super clean room, quiet night, clean pool room and fitness center.

Slept like a baby at a very ecinomical price. This was a needle in the haystack for me. Great experience and staffing. Stayed next to an over priced competitor and I am glad that they didnt get my business.

"Old and a little tired, but clean"
The hotel is old and a little tired. But it is still clean. The overall evaluation is that it is at the lower end of the average business visit hotel range. There are other hotels in town that aren't as tired.

"Get away"
I have been out of town working many hours..and away from family. It was a very nice get together with wife and grandkids to have some quality time for a short visit..staff was great..food great..and the king suite was real nice

"Heavy on artificial fragrance "
The desk staff was very pleasant, room, breakfast area and hallways clean, outside grounds also clean. There is a fragrance dispenser just over the main entrance door. Very strong artificial vanilla! For those of us with allergies this is not good. We were on second floor but as it is open to the lobby the smell was in the hall also. Our room was down the hall enough that our room was fragrance free. We very quickly ate a little breakfast as the eating area is just off the lobby. After we took our luggage to the car, my husband returned the cart to the lobby area. Just as he started to exit the hotel the dispenser went off so he received a full blast. He has some lung issues and needed to use his rescue inhaler in order to breathe properly again. I strongly suggest removing that dispenser. As the building is very clean no artificial fragrance is needed. Also, one very small request; dry the bath towels completely before placing in rooms. Our were still damp.

"Comfrortable and Restful"
My business stay at this location was restful and helped me to be more productive the following day. The staff were accomodating and eager to please in every situation. Check out day started with a hearty breakfast with alot of variety.

"Stay here often"
I come to Coffeyville often as our grand children live here. We used to stay at another hotel until one time several months ago we couldn't get a room so decided to stay here. We were so impressed with the room, (large and spacious) the bed ( very comfortable) the cleanliness of the room was great. the breakfast was very nice and plenty of options. I have stayed here every since that first stay, and will continue to stay here. Thank you to all the staff who are always kind an helpful.

This motel is appropriately named for the brick factories that used to exist here as primary brick sources. It is easy to find and to enjoy. It provides everything one needs, along with polite and caring staff and a very clean room. The bed was comfortable. Even the wi-fi connected on the first try. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

"Old"
You'd do better to find another place to stay. When we arrived, we waited 15 minutes for someone to appear. We buzzed the buzzer. We had to call the hotel before she came, saying she had been in a room without the pager. This was the start. Room has a refrigerator & microwave, no safe. Hangers are the old kind that were difficult to hand up and used when the worry was that customers would steal them. Too soft-beds. Time for new mattresses. No channel guide. Generous counter space in the bathroom. Sink is in the toilet/shower room. Nice towels. Pool is not heated. Pool towels are too small and are scratchy. Front desk has plenty of quarters if you need to do laundry. No city map at the front desk.

The hotel was great, clean, no strange odors, and comfortable beds. We had stayed at another hotel in another city and it was horrible and crippled me for the rest of the trip. We stayed an extra night so I could be checked out at the hospitol.`
