Best Western Plus Choctaw Inn & Suites

Excellent breakfast options. Location was okay, staff was okay, room was comfortable but smelled terrible.This was not up to par with the other Best Western Plus locations I have stayed at. Would probably not stay here again.

Everything here was great. The whole property was neat and maintained. No weird smells, just crisp clean air. The breakfast had plenty of options and was delicious. Every employee I encountered was very hospitable and eager to help.

My stay was not for vacation. Initially I reserved for 3 nights. I had to extend my stay to 8 nights and specifically asked if the rate would be the same. They said it would. When I checked out my receipt showed 2 nights at $108 a night, one night at $150 a night and another night at $153! When I called management about it they begrudgingly gave me a $91 discount. Also, they had no coffee for the room and didn't clean it or replenish clean towels, soap or make the bed. The manager was rude. I will never stay there again.

My stay was pleasant overall, did have a little issue the beds are soft however i occured that feeling of maybe the mattress need to be turned, so that the quality of the mattress will be still comfortable for anyone that sleeps on it,... i awaken the morning after to lower crucial back pain....

We have stayed here several times since opening. New owners about 6 months ago? This last visit was bad. I asked for a call from management and never received it. There were crickets both dead and alive in the halls and our room. No disclosures from the hotel on what they used to eradicate the bugs. We booked a king room and we were told none were available so we had to take a queen room, which I hated the layout of the desk near the bed. Once we were settled (midnight), I noticed a huge area of MOLD on the walls. I tried to call the desk using the phone, BROKEN! There were 2 tvs in the room and only one remote that didn't work. We were frustrated and tired, so we went to sleep. Early morning it seemed that the toilet was broken (no water flowing). I couldn't call the front desk so we tried calling with our cell phone, no answer. Got dressed, walked to the front desk and we were told there was a water main break in the area so no water. Not thier fault BUT they could have left a note under our door about the situation. We had to push through the day, as we both needed to work online most of the day. I also asked about the mold, was directed to find housekeeping in the hallway. Housekeeping said yes it was mold and the rooms above ours had it to! So why did the rent me a room that they KNEW had mold in it? During the morning people were checking out and going to other hotels due to the no water issue. I told the gal at the front desk we would check out by 6pm (couldn't earlier do yo needed internet for work) and that I didn't feel I should be charged for that night. She agreed. I asked for a manager to discuss the bugs and the mold, none on site. She assured me I would be called by a manager later that night...crickets (meaning no communication at all). I tried calling them the next day, after we checked out. Told no one available again. So, I waited to see if and what I was charged on my credit card. CHARGED FULL PRICE FOR BOTH DAYS. I am livid and calling corporate next.

This property is the only hotel In Choctaw Oklahoma, but our stay was a nightmare. The GM is rude and unfriendly. We witnessed the housekeeping staff fighting among themselves. I was threatened by a male employee that he would hurt me if I got involved. Do not stay at the Best Western in Choctaw Oklahoma. Go to an AirB&B.

We travel a lot for work, leisure, and softball and this was one of the best hotels that we have stayed in. The staff was very nice and accommodating, which is usually hard to come by nowadays. From the way they answered the phone, all the way up to our check out, the staff was always helpful and courteous, which we greatly appreciated! Our room was spacious and comfortable, and very clean! And the breakfast was great!! It was actual breakfast and not just yogurt and a fruit, or cereal! Overall we were VERY PLEASED with our stay!!!

The hotel was very clean and nice but they kicked us out of the lobby and wouldnt let us hang out with our 10 other families that traveled with us for a softball tournament. The next day after breakfast they blocked it off and had a hand written sign that said CLOSED. Owner came in and was a total jerk. The counter staff was awesome.

My grandson graduated high school. My son had his 3 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, 8 grandchildren plus his son, wife and self - a very full house. Much as I love them all, it was a real pleasure to be able to go to a beautiful room by myself for the evenings and night. I enjoyed leisurely, delicious breakfasts and the chance to enjoy the quiet. Beautiful facility and friendly people.

Everything was great but the bed. Rename it rock. I slept cramped on the sofa for 3 nights. Manager was unsympathetic. Food was great. Didn't have time for the pool. Everything was very clean and room service did a good job. We always had plenty of clean towels. Bed linens we very clean. The only drawback was the comfort of the bed.

Great stay during Christmas. Hotel was very well kept even tho they were short on help cleaning. The managers were helpful with our needs.Breakfast was on time and good with lots of food options. Would stay again in Choctaw!

We stayed here for a traveling softball Event. It was very close to our fields and located by a Walmart which was nice. The rooms were very clean and smelled clean. Beds were comfortable and clean. The kids loved the indoor pool.

Clean-No bedbugs-good breakfast-the hardest beds ever. Like i say, the breakfast is better than average, very clean, nice staff, they just couldn't answer my complaints. And they charge a $30 damage deposit but claim i will get it refunded but could take 30 days

Hotel is nice, up to date and within walking distance to Walmart and few fast food and sit down restaurants. Good variety of both hot breakfast and grab and go. Karen at the front desk was AMAZING! Beds were a little firm, would have liked a down mattress topper just to make them a little softer and a thicker comforter as the temperatures are starting to get cooler. Other than that, love the property and was very pleased with our stay!

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms have gone up 40% in last yr. Not competitive for area Breakfast is also top notch. Great selection, hot and tasty. Staff keeps breakfast items available entire time

We stayed here for one night on our trip through Oklahoma. It's about a half hour from downtown Oklahoma City. The hotel is fairly new. Everything was in good order. The room was very clean and comfortable. Had a great night's sleep. The staff was very friendly. There was a bit of a mix-up with room keys (my fault), and the desk clerk was helpful getting everything sorted. We ate at the Mexican restaurant just down the street, good food.

The Best Western Plus Choctaw was a very enjoyable stop. The building is about a year old and still has the new building smell. The room and all of the hotel areas were very clean and in excellent working order. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The value for the price was well worth it. I wish this could have been our hotel for our entire trip not just one night.

Room was like-new and very clean. Outstanding Buffet Breakfast - best buffet we've ever had at a mid-priced hotel. Quiet location set back from the road so there was no road noise. Indoor pool but no outdoor pool. Excellent value for the price - we would stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel near the end of a 29 night road trip. It is a very new hotel and breakfast ended up being good. The issue was we checked into a room that had a TON of bugs. I had no idea where they were coming from, but we kept killing little fly like gnats. I then noticed the carpeting was very wet in front of the air conditioner. I walked out and told the person from the desk, who was at that point watching t.v. in the lobby, that there were a TON of gnats in the room. I expected her to do something about it. Her reply was, "They are swarming all around my face too." "I think it has just been wet here lately." I just stood there in disbelief. I said, "Well, the carpet is also wet in front of the air conditioner." The reply, "Yeah... They are in the process of changing out all the air conditioning units." That was I.T. I went back to the room and continued to kill bugs. A short time later my son found the source of the issue. There was a large container filled with ice cream or a coffee type mixture behind the one chair, and the container along with food in it was full of bugs. I went right back down to the lobby where she was watching t.v. and told her. The trainee came down to "get" the container while I told my son that was IT. We were getting a new room. The woman at the front desk said the big guy was gonna hear about the cleaning in that room. That is fine. My concern is the response to the bug situation. It was totally unacceptable. I would have expected the person to at least offer a new room. The place was almost empty. Given that she was in the lobby, next to the breakfast room, when she claimed they were swarming around her face too, I was not planning to eat breakfast there, and my son wanted no part of food there. However, he woke up starving and wanted to eat. We walked down and did not find bugs in the breakfast room (thankfully). I am guessing they weren't swarming around her (thankfully), but she just didn't want to get up and do something about the issue. - a platinum member of BW

We stayed a week while visiting family very close by. Top floor, end room - it was a great and quiet location for the week. We slept well. Hotel has only been open just over a year - still smells new! Breakfast was good. Thanks to Kelly, Destiny and Annette for making our stay great.

We stayed here for two nights and loved it! The rooms are so modern and very clean! The breakfast was awesome, so many options and all were fresh! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I felt bad for one staff member who was very swamped with the front desk then later saw her doing the laundry. She was very quiet and very sweet.

This is a new, clean hotel. However, it is very noisy - every little sound travels. The floors creak. Footsteps sound like pounding feet. They ask you to use a credit card to hold the room, and when you try to pay with a debit card, they tell you their system is down. Frustrating! Their business is 90% sports - softball, etc. They should realize that there will be lots of children staying in their hotel. Children are not quiet. Sometimes they can be boisterous. This is not a bad thing.

I actually moved to this hotel from another one (don't get me started). Very happy that I did. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast and gym. Plus, there was DAILY housekeeping (which isn't the norm anymore evidently). Will stay again!

we'll stay again , beds comfortable the breakfast hot and fresh the room was clean the pull down night shades was a nice change didn't have to fight curtains off the air. the room was a really good size loveseat was comfortable nice to not have to set in an office chair . was a really nice stay weather did knock the power out for awhile but staff was on it quickly, at checkout was very apologetic and gave us a discount.

If you are coming into town for a softball tournament, this hotel is a No-Brainer! It's about 5 minutes from the ball park. Breakfast is always well stocked and a huge variety of everything from stuff for the healthy eater to stuff for the picky kiddo. This place is super clean. The rooms are spacious and so many things were well thought out when designing these rooms like ample space, 2 TV's, etc. etc. I can't gush enough about this place. It's also next to Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Braum's, and one of the best Mexican Restaurants in town. And like I said, just stone's throw from the sports complex.

If you like instant eggs, this hotel is for you. The price of your hotel room includes breakfast, but it's gross. They lay additional charges on you but don't tell you, they don't communicate changes, the auditor is very unhelpful when it comes to those additional charges, I could go on and on.

The hotel is about a year old and the hotel room had some issues (black out blind didn't work correctly, closet door fell off its hinges, shower head holder was loose, mattress wasn't comfortable and pillows caused neck pain) that made our stay average. The staff was very pleasant though.

This hotel is the cleanest, friendliest place I've stayed in in a long time.And it smells brand new, heated pool and work out room were the best. We loved the full breakfast as well. Highly recommend it!

I was here over night for work and the hotel is bright and comfortable. The room was spacious and had a chair to watch tv and a desk to do work. The bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was large and roomy. I will definitely stay there again!

When coming in we were not even greeted because too busy on their phones. The GM Malinda is rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional to the point I wouldn't be surprised if she makes the place go under! The ladies that work there were like a group of hackling hens, literally sitting and talking about the guests! I would not recommend staying here unless staffing changes! I can not believe anyone would want a staff like this running a hotel or any place! Good Luck to future guests!

The staff is wonderful. There was no public transportation and Malinda arranged a ride for me to get to the funeral. Great buffet breakfast, everything you could possibly want to eat. Room was beyond expectations.

I stay in Choctaw for business regularly and this is my first time staying in this hotel. I will be staying here for all my visits in the future, Clean, spacious rooms with an area to work in the room. Breakfast was good setting me up for a busy days work.

Huge rooms. Clean facility. Excellent staff. Great price. Took care of any concerns quickly and to my satisfaction. Pool area needs the ventilation to be better. When people were smoking in their rooms, the staff addressed it right away.

This was a great location to stay! Simple, clean, and enjoyable! Staff was smiling, helpful, and friendly! Breakfast had a ton of options for the kids and the adults. Very clean and comfortable rooms also.

From the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out: Friendly, Accommodating, Comfortable! We enjoyed a cool swim in the indoor pool, and ran out of time to try the workout room. Plan to include a workout next stay.

This hotel was by far the best we have stayed. It was clean and the staff was always more than willing to help with anything we needed. We will stay at this hotel every time we visit family. It was a great stay.

Very friendly staff. Rooms are big and roomy. Clean inside and out. Great location for our families needs. Understand to the fact that we traveled from Wisconsin with 4 grandchildren and the noise that they can make..

It's a new Hotel so expect the best for right now I can't speak for what the future has to offer. It's a long time I've stayed in a best western but It was beautiful inside. Very modern, clean you won't be disappointed.

How nice it was to stay in a new property. The rooms were clean, the lobby looked great, the breakfast had a little something for everyone, and all of the staff members were incredibly friendly. It's been along time since I've stayed at a best Western, but I would certainly return to this one!

We knew the check in attendant was on the phone, but she refused to even acknowledge us for 5 minutes until she finished her phone call. Unpleasant attitude and when we reported a problem she seemed annoyed and unapologetic. The note the housekeeper was a pleasant touch
