"Nice hotel cold bathroom"

JCT1962, Newcastle, United Kingdom 24/09/2020

Stayed here for one night while on a leisure trip to Chester. Very good location a short stroll into town centre or to the beautiful riverside walks. Staff were friendly and helpful and importantly if felt Covid safe at the present time. Room was okay but had limited hanging space and the bathroom was freezing in our room (2). Certainly would not like to stay in Winter.

"Overnight stay"

User 23/09/2020

We were worried about our stay as a couple of recent reviews were not favourable however, we had a wonderful overnight stay. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the afternoon tea was excellent.

"Terrible - desperately in need of refurbishment"

axc3, Leeds, United Kingdom 19/09/2020

Horrible. The blinds were completely broken, there was no hot water, the room (room 8) was tiny - so small that the en-suite had a space saving sink and toilet combo. The walls were paper thin so we could hear everything from the adjacent rooms, and there were holes in the plaster. The floorboards creaked with every step and the decor was awful, very outdated and tacky (think Argos early 2000s). Very few COVID precautions - several staff were not wearing masks. I wish we had saved money and stayed at the nearby budget chain hotel instead.

Team Savvy, Owner at The Townhouse Chester, responded to this review
What a shame to read this, doesn't even seem like our hotel, suggest you take your own advice and stay in the budget chain nearby.

"A Hidden Gem"

100PCTBEEF, Chester, United Kingdom 10/09/2020

We live in Chester so only came here for a few drinks but the secret garden was wonderful and the staff were fantastic. We have passed this place countless times but had not realised they had a beer garden - well done everyone!

"Two night stay for visit to Chester Zoo"

838carolined, Hexham, United Kingdom 10/09/2020

I am a support worker and the lady whom I accompanied to The Townhouse Hotel, Chester,. We were both made extremely welcome and cared for by some very special people. The teamwork within the staffing structure is faultless. Thank you very much to the following (in no particular order) Beth, Zak, Faye, Becka, Andrew and Nichola, and other staff members, whose names I am unfortunately unable to recall, for your wonderful care and attention. The lady and myself enjoy our visit immensely to the extent that she has already request a return visit.

"Great location"

aratelli, Chester-le-Street, United Kingdom 10/09/2020

Stayed on a Saturday night. Many positives including: Great service, lively atmosphere in the bar/restaurant area (seems popular with the locals), good room size with everything you need and very comfy beds! However, a repaint is definitely needed upstairs in the room and corridors - it looked shabby and outdated though it was clean! Would stay again.

"Nice stay"

kath85, Liverpool, United Kingdom 04/09/2020

Arrived at the hotel to a friendly welcome. Reception girl was lovely and check in was smooth. First impressions were that the bar area looked lovely so was looking forward to seeing room. Room was ready early which was great so headed up to drop bags off before afternoon tea. We were in room 8 which was quite a few sets of stairs with no lift. For us it was fine but if my parents or nan were coming to stay they would really struggle. First impressions were room was small but clean. Went down stairs for afternoon tea which was really nice and staff were lovely. We then went out to explore Chester. Later on we went in the garden area for a cocktail which was really nice again staff lovely and very attentive. On going back to the room and on closer inspection it was very dated. The blinds were broken, there was a large hole in the bedcover, grubby paintwork and skirting boards. The bathroom is also TINY! First time I've ever seen a toilet/sink all in one! We booked breakfast for the morning but it was empty when we went down. Girl was lovely quick to take our orders for the hot breakfast and this was really lovely couldn't fault it. After the plates were taken no one come back to us to see if anything else we wanted or a top up drink. I was going to get some fruit but with no one to be seen and time approaching check out we just got fed up waiting and left. On the whole the hotel is in a good location, and bar area and new outdoor area great. Staff are also great. Rooms however are not worth the money and if I'd of paid the going rate for a Saturday night (£160 when I checked) I would be wanting a refund. I do think once premiere inn opens you will struggle as their rooms are much much nicer. The sister hotel in Liverpool The Richmond is also much nicer and for the same price!

"Secret Garden"

User 03/09/2020

Visited the Secret Garden with a group of friends and what a hidden gem it is! Plenty of seating and loved the quirky decor. We ordered cocktails and they were amazing so much so that we ended up staying there for the rest of the day! Service was Also very helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend

"Perfect Location, 'Secret Garden bar'.. (return stay)"

User 03/09/2020

The Townhouse is the perfect location for central Chester, with a hidden gem at the rear of the grounds 'The Secret Garden' .. serving outdoor drinks/cocktails and food.. simply perfect. All Covid restrictions and social distancing measures are in place, and adhered to. I recently returned with friends, and we stayed in the Vault (party suite, sleeps 10! Karaoke screen/mikes, Dining area, Tv area). Breakfast was unlimited, with a variety of choices to suit all requirements , from fruits and yoghurts to cheese, pastries and full English breakfast. Staff once again, where very friendly and accommodating. Thank you to all at the The Townhouse, Chester, we highly recommend a stay with you, we will definitely be back xxx

"Great location, lovely hotel"

User 03/09/2020

This is the second time I have stayed at The Townhouse, the first visit was in March just before Covid lockdown and the second visit recently. The first time we stayed in the Ampitheatre Apartment, it is beautifully decorated, really spacious and comfortable. The second visit we stayed in the Party Pad and it was fantastic, so spacious and built for fun, would highly recommend for a group. The staff on both stays were very friendly hand helpful, the breakfast was delicious. The second visit had the addition of the Secret Garden which is just beautiful a little oasis to sit and enjoy a drink. Great location for all Chester attractions and parking available. Would highly recommend.

"Not COVID safe "

lauradl1985, Blackpool, United Kingdom 03/09/2020

Check in was robotic non personal , given pen without it being sterilised to sign paperwork , given card machine , again not sterilised Dust everywhere in room Two sneeze guards on the bar which don't fit the bar area properly so useless , also not allowed to serve us at the bar but we witnessed others getting served at the bar . One rule for one and not another No social distancing between staff , hugging etc There are areas to sanitise your own hands but didn't see anyone using them Did not feel COVID safe Staff too busy on mobile phones rather than looking after guests . Disappointing stay .

"Awful- avoid! "

Emma1503, Wolverhampton, United Kingdom 26/08/2020

We stayed here overnight, from the outside and the pictures it looks so grand, inside the bedroom it was like a hostel. The bar area is nice, but the rooms were old, dated and dirty. However it is very close to the centre so it was handy for walking around. For the price paid it was disappointing.

"Staff provided the most welcome start to our visit and location couldnt be better"

sandy_v5, London, United Kingdom 25/08/2020

Just stayed here for one night after a long travel journey from London. The young lady on the reception counter was the most welcoming and attentive i have seen in a long time. She sat with us in the lounge to go through check-in documents and talk through the facilities and breakfast. She is truly an asset to the company. The Hotel was in a fantastic except for the room if you are street facing. Our room looked over the pub across the road and we were woken at 2 am by revellers and again at 6 am by bin men and bottle recycling. We had to have the window slightly open as it was the sweltering week of heat in the UK. Even so, i dont thing the windows were sufficient to keep out the noise even if they were closed. Air con and double glazing would improve this. The room was nicely decorated and seemed clean, the bedding was lovely and fluffy and the mattress was nice. The walls were however quite tired and had spill stains and lots of wear marks that did detract a bit. We couldnt get the soap dispenser to work as housekeeping had forgotten to take the plastic stopper off. Luckily my husband managed to use a key to dismount the unit and remove the stopper. Overall, great location for Chester and lovely hotel. The breakfast staff were also very nice and you get a good variety of food options.

"Mr disappointed"

User 23/08/2020

Bar and reception was nice but our room was awful, not seen refurbishment for years, the shower was disgusting, needed ripping out and replaced, bed bases were dirty and had no valance on the bases. From the start of the staircase all the way up to our bedroom looked really ruff,no attempt to tidy the place up. For the price we paid I expected something special,VERY disappointing.

"Awful awful awful "

User 20/08/2020

Hotel from hell Bedroom up a 5 floor staircase behind an attic forefoot up some very antiquated like care home corridor Bedroom not listed on any websites or images furniture Miss matched Paint chipped on walls and ceiling This has been brought and tatted up many years ago in an attempt to get a piece of the boutique hen and stag market Yet there is noting boutique about this place The fire extinguishers on our floor were a year and half out of date Showers hot cold and shampoo wall mounted and you guessed it empty Literally a dribble of water In addition no COVID measures at all other than two screens on the desk and bar rooms as normal no information on enhanced cleaning Complained about the room was told was one alternative but basically it's a worse room If I don't have the kids we would have left and not stayed but we couldn't get another family room at short notice This hotel is a definite no go unloved and unfit for purpose £20 a head stags maybe but couples or families a Big NO

"Will be returning"

Corrinne C, Huddersfield, England, United Kingdom 19/08/2020

First, but not last time l will be going to The Townhouse. All ths staff friendly, Josh was very good at his job, Sally, was the most pleasant, helpful and truly nice person who's knowledge of the hotel and Chester was interesting and so informative. The only downside was the very small room, but will hopefully get a better one next time. Breakfast was very good and the lounge and beer garden was lovely and very well cared for

"Mixed experience"

samlloyd0137, Headingley, United Kingdom 18/08/2020

Cons - Small - Not cleanest considering COVID - Bathroom was the size of an aeroplane toilet - No air con as it was very hot and humid - Dusty blinds - Housekeeping came into our room without knocking - Hoovering outside your door at 8am and loud creeks as it's an old building - Didn't have our booking for 2 nights - No TV remote in the first room we stayed in - No do not disturb sign in either room we stayed in - Some plugs didn't work - Loud pub across the road Pros - Comfy bed - Parking easy to find (cost 12.50 for 24 hours) - Early check in - Asked to move from the cramped room 4 into the more spacious room 3 which they were happy to do - Afternoon tea was very nice, let us sit down a half hour early - Very close to city centre - Friendly staff

"Room 11 - disgusting "

keppers84, Nottingham, United Kingdom 16/08/2020

The hotel is lovely downstairs and the 2 members of staff we encountered were friendly but that's about it. Having seen online how run down the family room looked (11), we booked a standard double room. We were however put in room 11 on the very top floor. Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say about this room. Issues as follows: - there was a pill on the floor sticking out from under one of the beds (this turned out to be an anti psychotic drug). We were so lucky that I had spotted it rather than our 1 year old who could have swallowed it and ended up in hospital. - A large, heavy mirror fell off the wall (previously held up by one straight screw and 1 completely bent screw). - the toilet bowl was splattered with the contents of somebody's bowel. - rubbish in both of the tables. - broken tv. - stains down the walls like somebody had thrown a drink down them. The hygiene standards in this hotel are not up to scratch. Room 11 should be closed to guests and the hotel should find new cleaning staff. I have raised these issues with the hotel and was offered a 50% discount on my next stay but I could never stay here again. I'm not one for writing negative reviews but some of the issues we encountered were so serious that people need to be aware.

"Family get away"

User 16/08/2020

We have just returned from a visit to this hotel as a family of 8 staying in 2 family rooms. I have to agree with other reviews the refurbishment is much needed as the current state of the rest of the hotel is not up to the standard of reception, bar and lounge areas. One of the rooms given, was room 11 in the attic and is certainly unsuitable for a family room, far too small with no ventilation and unlucky for us the weather had been sunny and hot and therefore the temperature was unbearable and little sleep was had by all. The staff were very helpful particularly the housekeeper who was most helpful and really tried to make our stay better, along with the lovely man on reception who thankfully moved us to another room that was also on the top floor but the bigger window made all the difference. We loved all Chester had to offer and would like to see the hotel newly refurbished as the location is great.

"Don't stay in room 11"

User 14/08/2020

We booked this hotel as all the photos and reviews made it seem lovely and I do point out that the lady we spoke to said they are going through refurbs at the moment. So if you have a recently refurbished room it might be lovely. However we got given room 11 and it was nothing like what we expected. The walls are filthy, stains and marks everywhere and nothing like the photos on the site. We actually made the decision to ask for a refund and went to a different hotel. I believe we spoke to Beth who was lovely and very apologetic but I personally would shut the room we got given till it was refurbed as it's nowhere near the standard you would expect and really let what otherwise looked like a lovely hotel down.

User 10/08/2020

We took our two small dogs and a family of 6 for a weekend here was amazing! The staff were top notch! Andrew was amazing. The food, breakfast and rooms were all 100% loverly outdoor area at the back, we will be definitely going again x

"Excellent Short Stay Experience"

User 09/08/2020

Stayed at The Townhouse over the weekend, got to say the whole experience was really top quality! Staff are incredibly attentive, professional and friendly, the rooms were perfect (and the delicious full English breakfast was spot on!), and the location itself is more than you could ask for. A few minutes walk from the old city walls and the River Dee with all their attractions, as well as bars, restaurants, shops and takeaways all practically on your doorstep. It's the perfect place for a weekend getaway (or even midweek!), with plenty to do and see even just around the hotel itself, or as a staging point to explore the rest of the historic and picturesque city of Chester. The staff have also really gone out of their way to accommodate for the times we are currently living in, and the level of attention given to customer care certainly did put us at ease. Cannot praise this place highly enough! If you are thinking of taking a trip to Chester, you can't go wrong with The Townhouse!

"Great hotel"

996gemmap, Manchester, United Kingdom 08/08/2020

Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff and great location. Would definitely stay again. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely staff member who explained the check in etc perfectly. Nice room with a comfy bed too.

"Pleasant stay"

User 08/08/2020

Upon arrival we was greeted by Beth who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly offering us her great knowledge on things to do in Chester. The room was exceptionally clean and very spacious. The beds where super comfortable ( had the best nights sleep ) The location couldn't be anymore perfect your right in the centre of town. We had a few drinks at the bar before we went out and sat in there secret garden. We're we were waited on by Josh again super friendly. To sum up Great staff, great rooms, great location and great atmosphere can't wait to return.

"Nice staff poor hotel"

User 07/08/2020

Stayed here on saturday 1st august, nice warm welcome, car park at rear of hotel First minor issue, booked a deluxe room ( no breakfast) given a classic room. Pointed this descrepancyout got allocated another room, 15, what a mess, decaying plaster, mould in the shower and bathroom..went to speak to room offered was thank you, 3rd room, room 8 small with broken blind..accepted as bathroom cleaner..the decor is dreadful, an angry red..the whole place needs a make over with Alex Politzi, i feel for the staff who are dealing with a poor is not luxury, no bathrobes as described on the website, i think the premier inn will give this place some stiff competion when it opens, luxury it is NOT

ls1232015, Staffordshire, United Kingdom 05/08/2020

We were given a Smart Box voucher which we decided to use at this hotel after reading reviews on here and the website makes the hotel look lovely. We weren't expecting 5 starS but thought it would be a good base for Chester Zoo and Cheshire Oaks. Me and my husband had 1 voucher and then my sister-in-law and her partner also used their voucher for the same night. Booking was easy, the hotel got back to us very quickly - no problems there at all. Arrival not so great. We drove to where we believed the on-site car park was but couldn't find it. We rang the hotel and were told that all of the spaces had been pre-booked. Their website still states that it's a first come first serve car park so not sure why some were allowed to pre-book? It's £12.50 to park on their ‘on-site' car park but if you park in the NCP a short walk away it's discounted to £10 and it's a secure car park so not a bad alternative just wish we would have known beforehand. Lovely welcome to the hotel by the lady on reception, however she told us that the vouchers hadn't gone through so they needed the codes again. Not a problem as it turns out they were entering it as a Wowcher not a Smart Box. However, they very interestingly waited until we had drove all the way there to tell us that the vouchers weren't working...We got our forms to sign with room number on etc. myself and my husband signed to receive an executive room but my sister-in-law had a standard room. Didn't matter because we were given different room numbers on our keys and told it didn't matter what the form said. Rooms were surprising. I just wanted clean and tidy. Bed sheets were clean but that's about it. We were on the top floor and as others have said there's no lift - I'm 35 weeks pregnant so that was definitely a struggle. Paintwork was just walls being half one colour and half the other. Plaster falling off the ceiling and the walls. The fan in the bathroom was falling off the ceiling. Lampshades were all broken with bits falling off. The bed was 2 singles pushed together, they've clearly never had to sleep on them themselves because you have to sleep on either side of the bed or else you slip straight through the middle. Toilets hadn't been cleaned, and the mould in the bathroom was completely unacceptable. No way should a hotel charge you for a room that has mould in the bathroom. The mirror was filthy and all around the shower base. Holes in the walls and doors from failed DIY projects I imagine. Sister-in-law had a sock stuck over the smoke alarm in the room. Told reception who weren't bothered and said someone would remove it that night, they didn't. I know the hotel will say that they're ‘midway through renovations', that's fine, but don't put guests in horrid rooms - simple. The mattresses would have been fine if it was a double. Had a TV and coffee making facilities. The window opened which was good and had blinds and curtains. We were facing the main road opposite a pub but didn't get woke up by any noise at all. Breakfast was so so lovely. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. With the bed and breakfast we got 1 continental choice, 1 cooked choice and unlimited juice and tea/coffee. Food really was delicious. Tea and coffee was lovely and juice was topped up as soon as you'd finished the glass. Overall, the stay was confusing as the bed part wasn't great but the breakfast was amazing. Someone just needs to go into the rooms and put some effort into them. Until this is done, don't put guests in ‘old' rooms. They're disgusting and shouldn't be used.

"Afternoon tea"

blingblong, Leeds, United Kingdom 03/08/2020

The afternoon tea was amazing and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We especially loved the selection of teas, sandwiches and cakes. There is also a large outdoor area where you can sit outside. Thanks for a lovely afternoon tea.

"Girls Night Away "

kathryng152, Manchester, United Kingdom 27/07/2020

We stayed in the Roman apartment and we had a party that Bacchus would have been proud of . We had karaoke , dining and lounging seating, bathrobes , salon style dressing tables and walk-in showers along with a Love Island style bedroom . How lucky to secure this apartment style room. Usually hired to hen parties ; we made the most of the spacious accommodation and luxury features. It was amazing. But, what we enjoyed most of all was just how welcoming and friendly all the staff in the hotel are. They couldn't do enough for us from storing luggage to providing crockery and cutlery for our self brought Afternoon Tea, a tolerant late night drink from the barman who had been hard at it since lunchtime. Big shout out to Andrew.. the best ‘ Boomerang' taker ever. The breakfast was gorgeous and we were last down and you happily let us take our time and sit and chat. Thanks to Andrew our server and FOH manager. We had the perfect stay in your lovely hotel where the staff do the business proud in all aspects of the word. We will all definitely back with our partners as soon as the races recommence. Thank you again. You couldn't do enough for your guests and deserve to be full to the brim as you begin wider opening .

"Afternoon tea"

barryplatt, Manchester, United Kingdom 26/07/2020

Booked into this lovely hotel for afternoon tea. The hotel has an air of peacefulness.just what we needed after our walk around Chester. Have to say, it was a lovely experience.. My wife is gluten intolerant and the hotel didn't fail to please. Evrytnibg was fresh. The scones were specially made by the chef, I think his name is Jamie. Best gluten free scones ever. The whole service was friendly yet professional. I would recommend it highly..

"Good location but cleanliness needs improvement"

User 24/07/2020

For the price that we paid, this hotel was good and the location was great. Andrew is a credit to the hotel and he gave us some good recommendations. However, although our hotel room was spacious, it had no overhead lighting and the windowsill was filthy, with the previous occupants rubbish still on it from the day before. Obviously I would hope that the cleaning standards would have been stepped up in the current climate.

"Little night away"

ruts1975, Haydock, United Kingdom 21/07/2020

Stayed here 19-20th July nice hotel I was lucky enough to get a parking space at the rear of the hotel £12.50 for 24 hours . I got a double room small but adequate for 1 night with en-suite great powerful shower, bed was comfy We arrived 2pm Check-in was easy , Andrew was really good at his job and explained everything as we had booked a room, afternoon tea , a bottle of presseco, breakfast and a late check out all for £89 we were spoiled. Afternoon tea was fantastic a great selection of teas , the sandwiches were good and the cakes lovely, nicely washed down with a bottle of bubbles . Location was ideal for city centre just inside the city walls. We will definitely return Thanks

"Excellent Stay"

Stayed over for a one night trip to celebrate an anniversary and got to say the whole stay was excellent. Have to give a special mention to Andrew who really is a credit to the establishment. His friendly and professional approach really did make our stay that little bit better. Location was excellent bang in the middle of Chester and was priced very well. Even with this there was no noise in the late evening or morning that would wake you up which i was alittle worried about but didnt hear a thing.Room was clean and tidy with the beds super comfy. Thankyou very much guys for an excellent stay, will definitely be staying again and would highly recommend.

"Great stay"

happytravelerderby, derby 18/03/2020

As we had never been to Chester before or stayed in an hotel here we chose the town house. From arrival until departure the staff were all very helpful always smiling. There are no lifts at this property and a lot of stairs to climb if your on the upper floors. Rooms very adequate fresh clean. Tea,coffee making facilities. On suite with shower and toiletries and fresh soft towels. Yes there was some mould on the ceiling but the is the condensation from the shower. Restaurant was not open for evening meals due to revamping so we were told but went just up the road to an Italian restaurant. But there are many rest as around. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful. Full english, continental.tea, coffee ,toast ,cereals just be yourselves. Car parking limited on site but very secure for £12:50 per night if no spaces short distance away is a car park which the hotel give you a discount voucher. The hotel is a short walk from all amenities. First visit definitely not the last

"Fabulous stay in the Amphitheatre apartment"

User 17/03/2020

Due to the recent events surrounding the Coronavirus, myself and 5 friends founds our trip to Ireland cancelled , as we where about to celebrate St Patrick's day in Dublin for our friends 50th birthday. Determined our celebrations would go ahead, we looked for somewhere close to home, within driving distance, that could accommodate all 6 of us to stay together. The Townhouse was the perfect choice. With availability for all 6 of us in the Amphitheatre apartment, it was spacious, with a large lounge and kitchen area, 2 separate bedrooms with 3 single beds in each. Unlimited breakfast with a variety of choices to suit all requirements , from fruits and yoghurts to cheese and hams, pastries or full English breakfast. Perfect location with free on site parking, right in the centre of Chester, amongst many bars and restaurants. All staff being very friendly and accommodating. Thank you to all at the Townhouse, we highly recommend a stay with you, and we will definitely be back x

Thanks for taking your time to review, we are so proud of our apartments, as they really do add something special to a getaway with friends. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kind regards Team Townhouse

"Comfy beds - room needs a revamp"

Thelule, Bolsover, United Kingdom 15/03/2020

Booked to stay for one night due to location (perfect for centre) and price for three adults. We had a room with one double bed and two singles - very good size and comfy beds! There was no overhead lighting in the room, so we found it was difficult to see very well (just a couple of bedside lamps to see by). The bathroom was functional but did have mould on the ceiling. There was also a wardrobe to hang clothes which was useful but did not seem the safest structure, as it had been pulled out of the wall so was unsupported and leaning a long way forward at the top. Lots of stairs to our room, but that was ok as we had packed light. There were also no parking spaces available when we arrived, so had to park a shirt walk away in NCP (£17, but The Townhouse provided us a discount card to bring the proce down to (£10.50, which seemed good to us!) We probably wouldn't stay again but it was fit for purpose at a reasonable price.

SavvyHotels, Manager at The Townhouse Chester, responded to this review
Many Thanks for taking the time to review, we are now 50% through our refurbishment of bedrooms, which includes a change in our lighting as well, so duly noted. We do hope you would give us another try in the future Many Thanks Team Townhouse

A friend and I went for afternoon tea, in Match 2020. The height if the Coronavirus scare. The city was empty. The hotel too. Probably 12 people, all having afternoon tea, probably the travelzoo offer. Which we had. A friend and I have afternoon tea monthly. The surroundings and staff were love BUT I don't like cheese!!! Im not allergic, i just DONT eat it. I said so on arrival, to no avail. It's like they are robots!! It came with ham and coytage cheese sandwiches. The cheese cannot be removed. Tough, i was told. Also, salmon and cream cheese wrap. My fried was forced to eat these. I had coronation chicken sandwiched, (delicious), egg mayo, and creme fraisse and cucumber sandwiches (most odd). She's recently bereaved. It was a treat for me. We was asked I'd we wanted Prosecco, coffee and tea b4 or after the meal. It SHOULD have flowing!! There was about 12 people oin n the place 2 serving.staff, underworked. I presume one.or two chefs in the kitchen. Being well paid. They were unable to make a sandwich with.a slice of bread, and ham. NO CHEESE!!! Pathetic. It's the Coronavirus. The city was quiet. The hotel empty. ???? We will NEVER return.

Really sorry to hear this, and certainly not the normal - as you can tell by our other reviews. Clearly we totally disappointed you, and I cant say anything but sorry, as this is truly not the reflection we wish to portray, I cant even say our team has changed - this is a mystery to us, so apologies again you have encountered this, our afternoon tea is something we are very proud of, and we are always so flexible, so truly must have been a one off! Kind Regards Team Townhouse
