Best Western Plus Bowling Green

The room had all that we needed. Only criticism was a large stain on the carpet and a tiny bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was fast and easy. The location was also good for what we needed.

I stayed at this hotel on two stops. Very good. If you want less noise, stay in the room with two queen beds. Interiors rooms. The rooms with king beds are external and have more noise. The rooms are a good size, everything worked. The place is safe. A special chapter for the front desk Tim, what a kind and pleasant person. On my first stop I stayed in the king room, shortly after he sent me an emai. I had requested a quiet place when booking. And he asked me if I would like to change rooms, how kind. The second time he remember us. The breakfast is very good with several hot and cold items. A great choice if you are in the area.

Everything was clean, quite, and pet friendly. It would be nice if they posted the $35 pet fee per night per pet on the website so it is not a surprise when you check in. I do not have anything bad to say about our stay.

Always ask if there are exterior rooms. The highway is loud and you can hear it over the heat. Cleanliness was alright, above the shower on the ceiling is dirty. Found q-tips behind the night stand when trying to plug my phone into the outlet

Experience was very positive; staff was friendly and average price for stay on weekend. This is a good hotel for the location, close to shopping and sites to see. I will stay again when in area. An overall positive experience, some road noise if on the poolside but still was a good stay

This was a very pleasant stay at this hotel! The hotel was very clean and smelled wonderful. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough nice things about them, extremely wonderful people! I had a wonderful nights rest, and the breakfast was amazing. They had a lot of choices for food, including some hot foods and some cold foods and some fresh fruits! I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I'm ever in the area! An overall 10 in my book!!

The hotel was generally OK ... It was the check-in staff that was lacking in "Customer Service Skills"... We arrived at 1pm and requested to check-in early (std. time is 3pm) ... The manager said that we could do that, BUT there is a fee of $20! I told him that I DO NOT want to pay extra if the room is sitting there empty! We went out for a lunch and arrived back at 2pm and sat in the lobby for an hour right in front of him. At 3pm sharp we went to the front desk and checked in. We were not asking for "Special treatment" just the ability to check-into a room that was ready!... When I was in the hotel business (Many years ago) I would do all I could to get customers situated in their rooms, so they are comfortable and pleased!... Unfortunately, this "Customer Service was replaced by GREED for an extra $20.00! FINAL NOTE... 2 days later, a similar situation occurred at the BW Premiere in Louisville... We arrived early BUT the TERRIFIC check-in lady told us that she was able to switch rooms and get us CHECKED-IN! ... She did that with a SMILE! (and didn't try to Blackmail us for $20.00)... "THANK YOU" BW Louisville!

When my husband and I arrived, we found that I had inadvertently booked the wrong dates, actually a week later. Ravi, at the reservation desk went above and beyond to assist us in rectifying the issue. He was extremely pleasant and very helpful. His customer service was top notch. Thank you, Ravi!

Not sure what rooms the 5 star reviewers stayed in but it wasn't the rooms we got! Our first room had sheets with stains all over them. I'm talking CSI type of stains, so gross. Changed rooms and the new room was not much better. Terrible smell, dark and dingy and floors were filthy. Mold in shower and everything needed a very deep cleaning. Part of shower ceiling hanging down and held up with a ton of paint. Cringe worthy and couldn't wait to leave. The staff were very nice and tried to help but they could only do so much. Grounds and pool area were nicely maintained but rooms need work asap! Will never stay at this BW location again.

Stayed here 6 years ago and it was great. This time not so much. The staff were FANTASTIC the facility looks like nothing has been repaired in that length of time. Premium charge for crappy room!!!!!!

Breakfast was fine, pool was nice, but the room was wet. The floor was wet, the bedding damp, etc. The AC had been turned off. Do NOT stay by the pool. Apparently this a problem that all of the rooms in that locations share. The interior rooms are great.

One-night stay on a Thurs in late July. Check-in was easy/fast, friendly clerk. Lobby was very clean. Room and hallways were clean but a little stale. Beds were very comfortable. AC in room worked really well. Bathroom was small but clean, needs fan. My son loved the pool. Barely 5-10 mins from National Corvette Museum and to downtown Bowling Green; easy 20-30 mins drive to Mammoth Caves. Hotel is 10 seconds from I-65. Good selection of snacks and drinks for sale in lobby for $2 or $3. Breakfast was very good--waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage, muffins, bagels, pastries, cereal, etc. I'd love to see bacon offered. Dining area was very clean. Computer/internet access w/use of printer in lobby. Asst manager who checked us out was so helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. .... By the way, lots of good restaurants in Bowling Green, cheap ones to pricier. Good one for whole family is Golden Hibachi Buffet. $13 ($10 for 9 and under) and huge selection--hibachi, sushi, lots of Chinese favorites, roast, pizza, shrimp, mussels, crawfish, ham, ice cream, etc.

Great hotel especially for the area and very clean! I'm already thinking about going back in a couple of more weekends. The breakfast I was blown away by! There were so many choices. The pool area was great!

This was an excellent facility with easy access from the highway. The facilities were clean, nicely appointed, very roomy and comfortable with a very friendly staff. The internet and breakfast offerings were also excellent and easy to use. We already plan to stay here on future trips through the Bowling Green area.

This hotel provided a good experience for our short stay in Bowling Green. The room was clean and comfortable, but the curtains didn't close all the way and the AC was fairly loud when running. Still, we would definitely stay again when passing through, as this is one of the best options in the area.

Cable/tv didn't work. Serviceman didn't get there till 10pm and only option was to switch rooms. Kids were already sleeping. Pool was cloudy and smelled. Double charged me plus an added $50 which they told me they couldn't find. Still waiting on refund. Internet was very slow. I got charged $150 for being local and wasn't told it had to be cash until I got there to check in.

We stayed here at the Best Western Plus in Bowling Green Kentucky. The hotel room was very clean and Attendant at the desk was excellent. We had a awesome and clean room. The cleanliness of the hotel was also excellent. Will stay here again.

The young lady who checked us in was extremely professional, friendly, efficient, and kind. She maintained her composure even though she was very busy. Our room was immaculate as wea the lobby and kitchen areas. The towels and bedding were top notch. This staff went out of their way to welcome and accommodate their guest.

We used the exterior rooms and found them to be very accessible. The layout also allowed easy access to the lobby and breakfast. Staff was eager to please. Breakfast was very good with large variety of food.

Very disappointed in the quality. Rooms are small. Slapping a few nice things in a room does not make it live up to the BW quality. Had to keep moving furniture around to be able to see the TV and use the bathroom. We won't be back to this location.

The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. The handicapped room fit my needs very well and it was nicely accessible for me. I was able to check in at the time I desired easily.

This BW Plus is in a good location if you are hungry, but it is not a great location if road noise bothers you. There are sooo many eateries at this exit so that was great. There is even a restaurant right next door so you could walk to dinner. We had a room over the pool. Usually road noise does not bother me but it did from this side of the building. So ask for a room away from the highway. The hotel itself was fine. Breakfast was sufficient. Shower head was great. Staff we encountered were pleasant. Great elevator, too. Hardly ever a wait for it. Internet was slow during our stay. We had a fan noise running all hours in our room (never stopped). Not sure where it was coming from but we could not turn it off. Overall, considering the good with the not-so-goods, our stay was mostly satisfactory.

Quiet area. Very clean throughout. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff. Great hot breakfast, lots of variety & well stocked. Pool area was nice to sit at outside. Reasonably priced. Parking was safe. Would recommend

We found the Best Western Plus in Bowling Green after visiting the Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville. It is right along the highway in an area of other hotels. The hotel looked well kept on the outside. Good landscaping, a lot that looked like it had been sealed recently with bright painted lines. The lobby was OK. The night front desk person wasn't the friendliest. Lots of tattoos and not a smile in sight. We didn't have reservations so were just looking up hotels in the parking lot on our phone and decided to just walk in. They did have rooms available, but the rate through an agency was better than the rate we could get at the desk as a walk-in, even with our AAA / Best Western rewards membership. So I ordered my room through TripAdvisor while standing at the front desk. Our room was nice overall. The beds were comfortable (though they slid off the platform on sitting on them). Pillows were fine. AC worked well. TV was good. Nice and clean and good smelling. The issues were with the ultra tiny bathroom. To close the door you almost have to get in the tub. And the bump-out shower curtain rod was installed wrong, so that the curtain kept migrating to the center while I was showering. There was also no fan in there, so no way to vent out moist air. Other than that no issues. Good night sleep, very good breakfast, very good coffee. The morning staff was more friendly, as were the breakfast workers.

I booked this hotel early based on the information. Asked for a king room that was accessible. When I got there it was not an accessible room. In their defense they did try to find one. The HUGE problem was the room was on the 'first floor" and NOT accessible through the hotel. You had to drive around to the side, walk over these pavers and there were 5 rooms there. It was like being an animal living underground. Almost no light entered the room due to outside shutters. The first room they gave us didn't even have matching furniture/fridge. We were fortunate that the couple next to us, who had an accessible room, traded with us since my husband cannot get in or out of a tub. The coup de grace was the water dripping from the air conditioners above the entrance to this area that dripped down every time you walked in or out. OH....and, they had hot water in the breakfast room but NO TEA! Fortunately Cracker Barrel was across the parking lot and we had a decent meal. We never book BW because of the poor quality of years ago but decided to give it a try. Seriously, I looked longingly across the street to the LaQuinta. WHO THE HECK PUTS ROOMS OUTSIDE WHERE YOU HAVE TO WALK AROUND THE BUILDING TO GET TO THE RESERVATION DESK AND BREAKFAST ROOM?

The room was clean and updated. Staff was helpful. We would stay again. It was near an interstate. With the air on, the sound did not bother us. I would recommend asking for the side not facing the interstate.

The hotel is clean and has a beautiful property they work hard to keep it nice. Staff is welcoming and Accommodating. They welcome pets and have clean and nice places for pets to relieve themselves and yes, I'd love to think all pet owners clean up after their own pets but I know that is not so…yet the grounds were spotless. The pool area was clean and inviting. The room was nice with a great shower. When we reported the light out in the bathroom the manager got on it immediately. We will definitely be staying our next time through Bowling Green!

One night stay driving thru town. Front desk staff was "interesting". Alot of sarcasm. Bathroom door very odd. Had to shuffle around to open and close door. Beds had different bedding on them. Never seen that before anywhere. One bed had multiple stains on the sheet and bedding topper. Stains also on curtains. TV had cable, but seemed more of an over the air antenna. I wouldn't stay there again as there as several other options in the area. Can also hear everything going on in hallway as well as outside. Heard cars and motorcycles starting even on the 3rd floor.

The words to express this… is… TERRIBLE…. The complimentary breakfast was awful…. It was cold and the location was extremely messy and unorganized… The hotel room smelled and the beds were very uncomfortable… the rooms were extremely small…. This Hotel is terrible

My husband and I made reservations here for a weekend trip to Bowling Green. As soon as we pulled in, I noticed the hotel looked much rougher than in pictures. The entire hotel (especially our room) smelled musty and dirty. As soon as we got to the room, I noticed brown streaks/stains on the pillow. It just felt so gross here. And the clientele staying here, during our visit, looked like some rough people. It's my fault for trying to snag a deal on the room. I should've known something was up. We told the manager that we weren't pleased with the room and didn't want to stay. He was nice and apologetic. He gave us a full refund. Always spend a little more for a nice place to stay!

Our room was adequate, bathroom area small and a bit cramped, plus hair conditioner was missing. Hotel faces I-65 so get a room on the other side if the traffic would be disruptive. Front desk was accommodating on this. WiFi was intermittent and TV barely picked up anything. I was informed by the front desk next morning (the proprietor?) that they are well aware of and working on a fix for those issues. Overall no major complaints about staying here in an area with numerous lodging choices.

We stayed two nights. The bed was great and some areas of the hotel seem to have been recently renovated. Other areas were a bit tired. Our room was terrific, big and comfortable, but the bathroom was tired. Staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast was great, lots of choices -- including eggs and sausage. All in all, a good value. Would stay here again.

Will never consider a Best Western again after staying here. Our room smelled awful very musty. It was dirty. Very small room and even smaller bathroom. Room keys only worked one time each then we would have to go to front desk and ask for new room keys.

Over-priced for service. Wifi cuts in and out. TV half if channels didn't work. Upside, bed was clean and smelled clean except torn sheets. Would suggest a warner blanket. Air conditioning worked very well.

Firstly I wanted to say that I work at a 5 star hotel and after reading some reviews about this hotel I was a little worried about staying here. Well I certainly did not need to worry. The staff were great and there was absolutely nothing wrong with our room. It was very comfortable and clean. I am a housekeeper and was very happy with our room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was very good. Thank you to all the staff I would definitely stay here again if I am in bowling green.

Check in was simple. Long day of driving, so we stopped when we got tired, and just walked in to see if we could get a room.. I'm in their rewards program, so they had all my info for check in, which was quick. Room was clean and the decor appeared to be up to date. The bed was fantastic. The shower was good. It wasn't the most spacious hotel room, but for the money, I'll strongly recommend it. I'll definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for a night before heading to Nashville. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms were standard and clean. The bathroom needs more light for someone who does their makeup like me. Also the shower was confusing and we could not figure it out, instructions would be good or just have the front desk staff let you know how to use. A large storm and tornado warnings were coming through and they let us know about this and let us know how to best be safe. They were so calm and great about everything. Now on to the breakfast the next morning... IT WAS AMAZING! Once of the best complimentary breakfast I have had a hotel. The waffle bar was surprisingly good and the omelets were so great. I heard others commenting as well while I was eating. The girl working was so quick to offer assistance and even offered us a to go box if we wanted. It was really lovely. Be sure to tip them!

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is clean and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The beds are always comfortable. Breakfast is very good. Many good restaurants nearby. We will stay here again.

We booked this hotel stay for our trip down and back from Alabama through Expedia. On our trip down we were given an exterior room which was very noisy from the parking lot. I wasn't even aware that this property had exterior rooms but since we were tired we didn't complain and went on our way the next morning. The following week on our way back home we called and requested an interior room because of the noise and needing to put coats on with our young children for breakfast. The woman who answered the phone (Stacy) first told us that she had not assigned any rooms for that night, but then after realizing that we booked through Expedia insisted that we booked an exterior room and we were stuck with that. I tried to explain that we never asked for an exterior room but she wouldn't listen to us and insisted that we were wrong and was very combative. After trying to understand why she wasn't willing to work with us, I told her that I was very frustrated and wanted to speak with a manager, and she said that she was the manager. Not sure if she really is, but I stated again my frustration with her not being willing to work with us and that I was going to be leaving a negative review because of our experience. She then stated she was cancelling our room and she hung up the phone on me. Very poor, rude customer service and unwilling to work with us. If you book through Expedia apparently you get an exterior room? Be aware.

Less than expected from Best Western Plus. We took a motorcycle trip a few years ago and had great service from them. This trip not so much. Over half of the ones we stayed at this time were way below expectations and we don't really require top of the line hotels. But we do expect clean safe places. Everything from staff at check in to staff at checkout was exceptional.. Clean rooms, friendly staff, AC unit worked. Quiet at night so we did get to sleep. TV worked..Hotel was close to restaurants and stores. An amazing stay and a great price.

The beds are harder than I like by a lot, staff was great, clean room, breakfast provided. Has a place in the back for dogs and bags provided. Had my service dog and they offered a dog blanket-had my own but nice to have the option.

Nice clean hotel. Very efficient check in. Members get water and snacks at check in. Outdoor pool closed in Feb. Breakfast was very nice and health precaution promoted. Key are dropped in disinfectant upon check out. Located in business restaurant areas.

Hotel is very easy to locate off the highway plenty of places to eat nearby Lobby was having work done yet was very clean Hallways did smell like cigarette smoke. Hotel has long term guest from tornados in area

Best Western has been my hotel chain of choice for over 20 years. There has been a rough spot or two, but no major disappointments. We have stayed In Bowling Green the 4 or 5 times we've gone to Lewis Center, OH to visit our daughter and her family.. We usually find the rooms comfortable and clean, just that some of the TV remotes don't always access features on the set in the room.

I had an issue with my reservation at a different place of business. Upon arriving into the hotel lobby Jennifer welcomed me with great customer service, she was a great help! I was basically stranded and she gave me exceptional hospitality!!!

Between the pricing, appearance and comfort this is by far the best hotel in BG. Staff are always friendly, rooms clean, hotel is always maintained and they have food and a pool. They also allow fur babies and were happy to let my German Shepard stay with me.

While traveling from Michigan to Florida I had the opportunity to stay at the Best Western in Bowling Green. It was a late check in and I was zonked. The highway noise was very prevalent and sung me to sleep…..actually no! But, it was in the morning that I discovered blood splatter on the bathroom door, blood splatter by the toilet and blood splatter on the threshold. The hand rail to the tub was wobble and the tub it's self was slippery. Does Best Western know the word potential lawsuit. When I told the checkout employee, she stated “I'll have that room cleaned better”. My thoughts were gee thanks! Don't stay here. Watch CSI not live it.

Great Place, Neat and Clean, Great Breakfast. Just stayed for one night, but could have enjoyed many. Great value for the area during an event weekend. pool area was super nice and clean. good location just off interstate.

The employees were always super helpful when calling with questions prior to our arrival, propertyy was clean & you could tell rooms were newly updated and overall was a great experience. They obviously were short staffed but were always pleasant, thank you Jennifer! We'll be back!

We were a school group coming in for a XC meet. Tim and Jennifer went above and beyond to accommodate us when they didn't have to. We had 11 rooms and they were spotless. The service and friendliness of this hotel is unmatched. The rooms were in wonderful clean condition. The breakfast was plentiful, hot and presented nicely. The common areas and lobby were clean and inviting. The pool was clean. The hallways were clean. We didn't see a single area that needed attention. I cannot say enough good things about Tim and Jennifer. We spent some time in the lobby waiting on pizza and had the opportunity to observe them interacting with other guests and they were always courteous no matter the situation. I would stay here again and would not hesitate to highly recommend it to others.

Check in was fast, room was clean and the staff was great. I wanted to set by the pool and read while my family was getting ready to leave, pool was not open at this time, however the maintance man let me in to read while he cleaned the pool. Enjoyable relaxing morning just for me.

Exterior room was a good location in front of the pool. Room was smaller than expected. Room has been updated with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom needed to be updated. Hotel next to highway and could hear cars but not terrible. Price good with comfortable stay. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Room was very clean staff was nice. Found it odd that they listed attached bathroom as an amenity to a room. Also found it extremely odd that there is no microwave in the room. As long as you don't have leftovers you're good. With covid not big on using microwaves others use.

right off of I-65, close to some good restaurants and a comfortable room and stay. The price was a good bargain and the Best Western reputation shined. The breakfast is terrific with lots of variety. The coffee is not so good and could be improved. Also I wish the TV would have been HD as the analog is quite fuzzy

Floors are dirty. I pretty much cleaned the hard floor with the towels and they turned black. To make matters worse we drove home 8 hours and we're covered in bug bites. All my family of 5 kids. My friend also stayed in another room and had moldy pillows and bug bites.

My husband and I had a horrible experience at this hotel. The pictures are so deceiving. I booked a weekend stay so we could visit the Corvette Museum. We brought our puppy with us, so this place seemed perfect. From the moment we walked in we knew that we made a mistake. It was dark. Musty smelling. And dirty. The bed was hard as a rock. The paint was peeling off the walls. The doors has been scratched by other dogs. After one night, we decided we would do a little shopping and then just go home. We prepaid via booking.com. The money had already cleared for two nights and we knew that we would lose the second nights stay regardless. We were okay with losing the money. When I went to turn our keys in, I politely said that we decided to go home a day early and wanted to turn our keys in. A VERY rude front desk worker informed me that we would be charged an EXTRA $30 for an early check out ON TOP OF THE TWO NIGHT STAY THAT WE DIDN'T EVEN COMPLETE. Horrible experience. Never, ever coming back. Like. Ever.

I needed a hotel that was pet friendly and provided EV charging for a Tesla. I could not get the charger to work. I had to drive out for several miles to find another charger and wait there for 30 minutes until fully charged.

This hotel was very nice, clean and new looking., easy to get to and the Staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was good. would definitely stay here again. Located to close to vacation hot spots and the Corvette Museum. close to many different dining options.

This location had a very welcoming front desk person! I forgot to get her name, but she was so sweet to me and my dog upon check in. My room was clean, quiet, and affordable. Breakfast was hot & pretty tasty!

On check in first room was dingy and dark. Ask for another room and the one given had a bed someone had been sleeping in, the third was about the same as the first one. The floor was sticky, the ceiling had tissue balls stuck to it, with all lights on it was still dark and felt unclean. Would not stay here again. Probably won't stay another Best Western Plus

The grab and go was cool and bed clean but the room had an overall grungy dirty feeling, you could tell the floors hadn't been mopped and the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers on the shower wall were either broken or did not work. We killed one spider and then today another one climbed out the drain. I probably wouldn't stay at another best Western again because of the experience here. Forgot to add, the front desk clerk was very pleasant.

This hotel needs a major update. Lobby smelled, our room faced the highway which was extremely noisy, and the grab and go breakfast was laughable. They only redeeming quality of this hotel was they had great water pressure and lots of hot water. Bathroom was tiny - toilet right up against the tub!

I was a little disappointed with this BWPLUS. Not quite sure what the PLUS was in this particular hotel. The only plus was the girl, Jennifer, that I talked with on the phone, and she also checked me in. This hotel could use some updates and fresh paint. The bed was very comfortable but my pillows had an odor. Sleep quality would have been GREAT if my neighbor wouldn't have been slamming his door at 2am 7 different times. But, that isn't the hotels fault, just saying the quality of sleep would have been GREAT because I was on the interstate side and didn't hear traffic!! Safe place to stay otherwise.

No remote to tv. After 3 attempts, finally was given the one for the lobby. Shower was dirty. Caulking around shower base was nasty and poorly done. There was no body wash in the dispenser. Bathroom vanity was coming apart. Gouges in the walls. Room phone didn't work. Didn't look like the carpets had ever been deep cleaned. The plug to the HVAC wall unit had been cut off and replaced using black electrical tape where they wired the replacement plug was attached(big safety concern). Breakfast was minimal. I understand that there is a pandemic going on, but there is no excuse for these things to have been this way, not for the price and having one of the highest ratings in this area. If anything, this should be the time things like this are addressed and made exceptional. Highly unsatisfactory. I did not stay again for my second night. I went to the Wyndham, and I was so much happier.

The rooms are very nice and cozy i love the fact that they make sure everyone is comfortable and the beds are amazing. Its peaceful there I recommend you to go there and the prices are amazing. I been there twice and i will go again

We booked a two room suite for an overnight stop on a long drive. The rooms were clean and well equipped with all the necessities, the beds were comfy and clean. A couple of things could improve to earn 5 stars: breakfast was almost non-existent with a couple of cold grab-and-go items, not a single hot item. The 2nd thing is the noise -which is mainly because of the guests. Our room was on the street level which was convenient to grab things in and out of the car but it also meant that you could hear everything outside, from cars revving at 1 am to people talking loudly in the hallways to doors slamming. Had it been quieter I would have given 5 stars.

Our experiences with Best Western have been very satisfying. You can really expect the best rates, room and night's stay with this Hotel chain! Up to date facilities, attention to details and overall hotel cleanliness is there trademark.

This motel was poorly renovated. There was a 2 inch gap under the entry door that looked like the bottom of the door had rusted off. There were tile missing from the baseboard in the bathroom. There was mold and mildew around the shower/tub. The popcorn texture on the ceiling above the shower fell down while we were taking a shower. But, the staff was very friendly

We stayed here one night, just as a lay over as we were passing through. We had a king room, and it was TINY. Barely room for the bed and tv! When we opened the door, the floors and rug were all wet. Still not sure what the reason was for that, but I made sure to leave my shoes on until I went to bed. There was a 2 inch gap under the door, which was an exterior entrance, so I suppose it's possible the wet floor came from rain that ran in under the door. The only reason I gave this a 2 rating was because it had THE BEST water pressure in the shower of any hotel I've ever stayed in. So at least we got good showers! :) The hotel is close to the highway, so it wasn't quiet at all.

Was due to stay for 2 nights. Had to switch rooms due to cleanliness upon arrival. After the 1st night i noticed a cpl of what appeared to be bite marks. The next day took a very long nap and my son ans I woke up with multiple bites. Went to the urgent care and Dr.suspectes bedbugs which makes sence bc of my reaction. Im allergic so my reaction resulted in severely itchy, burning welps which turned to blisters. My son had multiple small bites. Some other members in my family had little to no reaction as 60% of ppl dont. One of the front dest staff was very sweet & helpful. Didnt have anymore interactions with her after bedbug encounter due to her being off work. I requested a refund and they have promised to give that which I appreciate, but they are refusing to cover my urgent care costs even though its noted that they were suspected bedbug bites. We hadnt been anywhere other than the hotel when we encountered these reaction. Will be taking legal action.

Our room smelled like a wet dog when we arrived. We left a window open for fresh air. The hotel does accept pets so thats prolly why it smelled. The room was small. It was supplied with two towels and we checked in with four people. There were zero towels in the towel rack at the pool. The shower had body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. All three were empty. The popcorn machine in the lobby that is full in the hotels pictures was unplugged and empty. The fridge was dirty.The interstate is loud. The best thing about this place was the lady at the desk.

If you are looking for a great place to stay for a reasonable price this is the hotel to make a stop. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly and are helpful. Rooms have refrigerators, micriwave, and showers are hot and have great pressure. You may want to bring your own pillow since pillows are hard and flat, but the bed will give you a good night sleep.

We choose BW because I have stayed at numerous BW for Business due to location and value. This was a leisure trip to Florida from Wisconsin and back. I have alot of rewards points. On the way down we had a great experience with staying at a BW. On the way back and staying at this BW was not as good as expected or my perious experiences.It was not as clean as our trip down. Our room was not as clean as we would expect overall but aslo at this time of Covid-19. the shower rod was replaced and the pervious holes were not filled in. The bathroom was not as clean as I would normally expect. I did not use some towels becuase they had black dots on them. Not sure what it was but did not use them. Overall I would expect cleanliness to be better.

We have stayed many times at this hotel and have never had a problem. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are nice and the staff is wonderful. There are many great restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed for the night as we were on our way home. We chose this hotel in particular because it was a pet friendly hotel within the area. I was impressed with the room despite it being an exterior room. It was very clean, comfortable and updated. The only thing I would complain about is that their was a draft under the door, which made is accessible for bugs to come on in and make the room colder if this was winter time. Due to COVID-19 I knew breakfast would be individually wrapped breakfast and the option I got was just okay, It was a fatty muffin, fruit snacks, water and a nutty buddy. Knew under different circumstances the breakfast would of been a lot better. Overall it was a great experience and wouldn't mind staying there again.

The girl at the counter was very nice. When we got to the room, our door keys wouldn't work. I went back down to the desk and was told they had been having that problem all day. She gave me keys to a different room. They didn't work either. Finally, she brought up keys to another room and they worked. The room smelled musty so we thought no one had stayed in it and it would be ok after the air was turned on. Boy were we wrong. The smell just got worse and worse. We went to dinner and when we came back the smell of mold and mildew was so strong it almost took my breath. The hotel was hosting a large group of crx workers and when I told the girl at the desk about the smell she said she could try to find another room for us if we had to move. We ended up going and buying some glade plugins and a can of lysol to cover the smell and leaving very early in the morning. As we were leaving, I started looking at the hall and the other doors and they looked shabby with peeling paint, dirty walls and doors and worn carpet. Not at all what you would expect from a Best Western Plus.

We were traveling through Bowling Green on the first day that a hot breakfast was not being offered at the Best Western Hotels because of the Coronovirus pandemic. Kay on the desk very kindly gave us 2 dinner rolls that had come with her take-out supper as she knew that the local restaurants were only providing take-out meals. Since we had some food items in our cooler, the dinner rolls completed our supper meal very nicely. We were so pleased to find that there were laundry facilities on our 3rd floor that were very close to our room. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Smelly hotel with inappropriate, shabby front desk help. This place may have been in its prime in the 80s but alas, its 2020! My son said it smelled like Great Grandmas house! (It did) Old, outdated, smelly. Skanky towels in the bathroom that made me not want to shower!

We set out for home from Florida on 3/14 in the onset of the coronavirus travel scare. On Sunday, 3/15 we arrived at Bowling Green BW. Great bed, clean room, hot water and friendly, efficient staff. They were doing their best to keep things clean and running normally. Good breakfast on what appears to be the last buffet for a while. The bathroom is very small and the shower curtain is anchored so water tends to spray everywhere. For whatever reason, the exterior of the room doors are scratched, banged and bent. Not a good look. Cannot be beat for $68 plus taxes and fees. NOTE: ask for a room on the front side or be willing to listen to overwhelming road noise. Kudos to the management and staff during these insecure and trying times!!!!

2019 my stays in motels was 150 nights...love the best Western Plus motels for pristine quality...this motel is far from that standard...room doors are scratched...Sunday breakfasts are good weekdays nothing to brag...my major concern is safety...the exterior door at the bottom of the stairwell no doorknob or security lock...any person could freewiling at ease enter this motel any time...this is the personality of this facility...it does not merit the Best Western Plus designation

I liked that we had a room we could access from outside instead if going through the halls. Very quiet. Lights were not bright in your face so you could sleep in a little. Water pressure in shower was phenomenal. Size of the king room was... micro but I didn't mind at all. Heater/AC unit worked great, though we had to get our fan from the car because the unit was so quiet haha! Large offerings for breakfast. The hot food was less desirable but I enjoyed the variety if cereal. While the bed was very comfory, the pillows sat too high and there wasn't any other options to switch. Resulted in stuff necks.

This is a very nice hotel! It is clean and supported by a friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast included a wide variety of hot and cold items that were kept filled. The area was kept cleaned by the breakfast staff. The hotel is located near restaurants, gas stations, the Interstate and only a few miles from Western Kentucky campus. We would stay there again and recommend it of others.

We've stayed here several years now coming back from Florida. Rooms are recently remodeled--pretty with beautiful, roomy bathroom. The lady that works the desk is very nice and extremely patient. We asked for an inside room (when we made reservations 4 months ago) and got an outside room. The door frame was bent and no flap under the door to keep the cold air out. Cold air flowed in all night. Plus, all we could hear were the cars on the interstate. We said something about it twice but nothing was done. They wouldn't switch us because the motel was full. Also, there was a sewage odor in the room off and on all night.

Staff was friendly. The room was clean but in poor condition, peeling wallpaper, chipped paint everywhere. The bathroom was atrocious.Turn on the shower and it sprayed everywhere. The repairs that had been done were not done well. At all. Very unattractive. Missing hairdryer. Too much money for a mediocre room.

Newly renovated, great breakfast with healthy options ie almond milk, low fat yogurt and apple butter. Make sure to ask for rooms not facing the interstate bit too noisy but we were moved right away with no issues.

Nice clean hotel. Recently remodled. Good locaion near many restaurants. Close to I65. Decent size rooms and ametities. Very friendly staff. Ok breakfast with good options. Nice lobby with 24 hour coffee and popcorn.

The front desk staff were great and the breakfast was as expected. Maintenance and cleanliness of this place is not what we've experienced at other BW Plus properties. I'm not going to get into the list of things wrong here - I shared those with the motel already. I have other choices when traveling through this area so it is very unlikely we will choose this motel again.

The staff here was excellent and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and updated. We intended to stay one night but ended up with car trouble, they made our extended stay very comfortable and made us feel like family. Thanks

This is advertised as a hotel. We were given a fifty motel style room with cold air blowing right through the door. We were moved to an interior room. The neater room vibrated to the point I became motion sick. Night staff had no idea why, morning staff knew exactly why hotel mechanical room directly above the room I was given. Room dirty, body wash empty, coffee creamer was a solid instead of powder, yes that old! Do not stay here!

This is our normal stop on our way south from Michigan. Hotel is convient for location and reasonable price. The hotel is clean and we have not had any problems. The King rooms are outside entry which is good for one night stay to haul bags in and out.

Pros: comfortable beds, nice linens. Cons: the hallways are scuffed and beat up, unclean hall carpets, elevator light button didn't work on the 2nd floor, the WiFi was nonexistent in our top floor room and the sink handle faucet was broken and fell off. We had to use the rod sticking up to turn on the faucet. The coffee machine broke during breakfast and the juice was watery. The breakfast food was fine. We heard more than one person say they wouldn't be back.

Many things wrong with the room that should have been noticed by hotel staff- the toilet seat was almost broken off, no soap at the sink, the water line for the coffee maker was not hooked up, and the bathroom was kind of dirty. Very disappointing for Best Western.

The rooms need to be cleaned throughly. Hand soap needs to be available in room, not just in shower. Also the soap in shower was as far from the outside of tub possible. So you needed to reach far to get it.

Great stay! Room was clean, updated, quiet & secure. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, real eggs! and fresh fruit. Staff kept area clean and stocked and checked to make sure we had everything we needed.

Nice Hotel. We stopped in for the night on the way back home to Indiana. Had a truck and trailer and there was plenty of room to park it. We didn't have time for breakfast but it looked very good from what we saw.

Good clean room reasonably priced. A little noise from the nearby interstate. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Fresh coffee all day! Thomas did a great job on check in - quick and spot on. I would stay again when I am in the area.

Our experience here was excellent. The check in staff was so kind and helpful. They made us feel welcome immediately. They showed us the coffee and hot cocoa in the lobby and which door was the closest for our room. They told us about the breakfast bar too. The girl working the breakfast bar did amazing. She was so pleasant and helpful. It was her goal to make sure you had a good experience.

I'm trying to remember what to say about this hotel because it was a road trip and all I remember we left well rested and I liked the 24 h exercise room. If I can't recall more it means it was flawless.

Spent a night at Best Western Plus here at Bowling Green Kentucky on my way home to Toronto, had a exceptionally wonderful stay, great room, great breakfast and excellent staff, will surely stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay at the Bowling Green KY Best Western. Very nice motel at a reasonable price(state sales tax is NOT outragious). Sorry I didn't get a chance to visit the fitness center!!! The breakfast area was clean and well attended maintained. Great way tio start the day! Thanxs!!!

We were pleasantly surprised to find that this nice hotel also was pet friendly. We had a nice room, nice staff, and perfect location along our travel route. We left before breakfast was open but it looked to be a full breakfast. Reasonable price and reasonable pet fee. We would stay again.

Staff are helpful and run a clean, pet-friendly hotel. (Outside, sadly, some pet owners do not reciprocate that attitude, but you can't blame the hotel for the carelessness of some clients.) The hot breakfast is good for this price range, and the complimentary evening popcorn in the lobby is a nice treat, if a bit salty. Location is very convenient to I-65 and to anything a traveler might need in Bowling Green.

This business has not been kept up and I would not stay here with my grandchildren. I arrived and was directed to park under the light at the front instead of the back where I stayed. I was not given any award gifts for being a gold member.

Booking process was easy and fast online. The hotel was conveniently located just off the interstate and close to restaurants. We arrived late at night and the parking lot was well lit and the check in was easy. The hotel appeared to be recently updated and the room was clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was average for other hotels we have stayed at.

Very good location, clean, quiet, helpful and friendly staff, we stayed here a year earlier and returned again and the property is a year older, but still well maintained and clean. Bed was comfortable.

Great facility especially if you are traveling with your fur babies. Nice dog run, several restaurants nearby within walking distance. Staff was very nice and professional, they even had bags of treats and water for the dogs. Awesome!!0

Hotel room was not cleaned from guest before and would only refund half my money after putting us into another room that was not what I originally reserved. My children could not even take a bath because we had to go into a handicapped room since they could not make sure the room was cleaned before we got there.

Spent a night here recently while traveling through Bowling Green. The facility is located in a warren of restaurants and hotels just off the interstate and is easy to access. It appeared that the property had been recently renovated. The lobby and breakfast areas were spacious and attractive. I can't say enough about how friendly and polite the night desk attendant was on our arrival in the early evening- a breath of fresh air! Our room appeared newly redone with fresh paint and modern appearance. A fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were provided. The beds were comfortable and there were adequate outlets for our gear. The shower/toilet area is separate from the sink/vanity. In the shower, there are dispensers for soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Free WiFi worked fine. The breakfast was fine, in a nice spacious clean open area with booths and tables. Coffee and other hot drinks are available in the lobby after hours, too. There's a small sundry shop as well, and , again multiple nice sitting areas. The parking lot was safe and well lit and there are several chain restaurants with in walking or very short riding distance- a Cracker Barrel is right next door. Three very minor flaws did not significantly affect our stay: the elevator door was quirky and took several tries to close on each trip, a bathroom mirror bulb was burned out, and the air boosted toilet tank sounded like a 747 on take off when we flushed (definitely close the lid before you hit the handle as the air stream jets right out). On the whole, a nice place at a reasonable price with very nice staff- particularly the young man at the desk in the evening. We'd stay again.

This hotel has outside rooms if its cold outside, do not stay in outside rooms. The doors do not seal properly & cold air gushes in around door!! Weather stripping would help. Also, if you request a late check out, you may be bothered!! Hotel staff didnt communicate to other staff members of our late check out!! It was a constant battle w staff to get our rest!!

Our room had no toilet paper and 2 wash clothes and towels for 4 people. I asked front desk for toilet paper and towels. She said they were out of towels completely. Asked for change for washing machine. Man said they had no quarters. Unbelievable. Breakfast was awful. Food was awful and they were out of yogurts, bagels, Etc. There was nothing there but sausage sandwiches which tasted awful.

Bed was uncomfortable. Bathroom was TINY!!!! Breakfast really didn't happen because there was no food, coffee maker was broken. The room was clean and fairly cheap. I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I didn't have another option.

At check in we had a late check in, due to a football game. Jake checked us in, we had points for a free night. He was fast & efficient & gave us great directions to all amenities at the hotel. I asked about late check out, he said absolutely, we didn't have to leave til 4 the next day & no extra charge, a much needed rest time. We did leave earlier, to have dinner w/our grandson at the college where we attended the football game, before heading home! I suggest the hotel hang on to Jake, he is an Excellent Employee with the upmost hospitality, just what you need & what the consumer wants to be Greeted with! Thank you Jake! Check out was equally as quick & easy. Same hospitality! We will stay here again, as our grandson has 2 & half more years until Graduation. Clean rooms, Comfy Beds, we had a King room, love the microwave/frig. Nice dressing mirror, desk & chair & an easy chair. Nice tile floors. Nightstands on both sides of the bed! Lighted Vanity Mirror, Very Comfortable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a 4 night stay for an event at NCM Motorsports Park. We had to be relocated twice. 2 rooms had a strong odor of water/mold. The last room we were moved to was acceptable but the mattresses were very firm and fairly uncomfortable. If you do stay make sure you don't get a room on the first floor.

On 10/6, while having breakfast I noticed people running their hands over the business ends of the forks in a fork/knife/spoon plasticware holder during breakfast. One old guy had been coughing into his hand shortly before doing this. There were two plasticware dispensers, each with as separate area for each type of item, and an example of each item on the front of the respective bin. Clearly, the bins were designed to have the business ends pointing down. I told the woman at the front desk about this would be corrected immediately. On check out, an hour later, I looked and found that it had not been corrected. Also, the wifi was not working during our stay. I was told it was a system problem.

The lobby looked nice and the employees were kind and professional, but when I got to the room, no, no, nope, no. The hallways and doors were scratched and beat up, the paint job on the walls was awful. The toilet seat was broken, and there was no soap in the dispenser in the shower. The drawers to the dresser under the TV were wonky and sitting sideways. The pillows felt like they were stuffed overstuffed with day old bread. I suppose the were broken. It looked like water stains on the ceiling. I high tailed it out of there.

I've had pretty good luck with Best Western Plus properties over the year. They all are clean, beds are pretty good and usually a variety of pillow types, so you should find one that will work for you. This location was no different. It was a hot September weekend night, so the pool was pretty busy until after 9 PM and my room was right outside of the pool. I don't quite get why a King room is right by the pool. Sure, adults use pools, but kids are the ones that would be better served with a room right at the pool, not 1 or 2 adults in a King room. If you are getting a King room, then pretty sure you didn't bring the kids. Once the pool calmed down, everything was fine. This is a older property, so the rooms open to the outside, not an interior hallway. I was on the ground floor 20 feet from the car, so that was pretty nice when unloading and loading it back up.

This hotel is nicely updated and clean. The only negatives I noticed are that the bathroom space in our room was tight, especially for a family, and the lighting was poor, especially for getting ready in the morning. Overall, the rooms are comfortable. The location is great, right off hwy 65, near a Cracker Barrel and other restaurants. The complimentary breakfast buffet has a lot of choices, including almond milk, and the food is good. Our wake-up call was on time.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice and clean. The beds were comfortable with good choices of pillows. Nice and quiet sleep time. The breakfast was typical hot items, cold items and lots to choose from. The girl over the Breakfast area did a great job taking care of a packed breakfast area every morning making sure nothing ran out, applauds to her!!! Would stay here again.

I always ask for no pet rooms due to allergies. We got to our room and then heard a voice mail telling us all king rooms were pet rooms and if I had a problem I could move to a queen room. To our surprise the king room had no hint that there had ever been a pet in the room. Very well cleaned. Enjoyed our stay without any allergy issues.

Everyone very friendly. All around the building very clean inside and out. Breakfast was great. Internet very fast. Location is close to many restaurants. Not far from mall or other tourist attractions.

Due to mechanical issues my room had an overpowering odor of mold and mildew. When I asked about a different room I was brushed off. Although there was no mold visible, I feel that this may have affected my heath during my stay.

Room was great, clean and new. Everything worked, good channel selection, beds/bedding/towels all fresh. Breakfast was great, good variety and cooked well, not over or under. Free coffee in lobby and free EV charging outside. Pool was great and well maintained. Would certainly stay again

The bathtub was busted. The curtain would not stay closed flooding the bathroom, the shelf broke off, and it didnt drain. Very loud ac unit and lack of bedding made it hard to sleep. Ill try a hilton next time.

Hospitality exceptional! Check in smooth. Room was average, the beds were up to standard and the rooms were clean. Outdoor pool was well maintained. Breakfast was very generous - French toast, waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal and cereal available and continuously replenished.

The people were so nice here, but our main reason for choosing this place was the outdoor pool for our 5 year old grandson. The filter wasn't running in the pool and the water quality was poor. The tile surround on the pool was really dirty. We swam for a bit before dinner but had no desire to go back later. We have owned a pool for many years and understand it can take a lot of work, but this was pretty bad. Probably the worst hotel pool I have seen. Hopefully we just caught them on a bad day, but our visit was on a Thursday night, not a busy weekend. The room was ok, but there were some real cosmetic issues in the hallways that were seriously unattractive. We travel a lot and are fairly forgiving of hotels in this price range, but this one was not as well kept as average. But again we did appreciate the friendly, helpful staff and the popcorn in the lobby was nice.

Very friendly staff excellent breakfast. Sits between Cracker barrel and Ryan's with plenty of food choices around. And it's not that far from Kentucky Downs. I would recommend this hotel for any events.

We thought the updates to this property were excellent. We found the room to be clean and bright. The beds were comfortable, it was quiet, and we slept well. I'd book this motel again, and very likely will do so next year when I drive through again on my way to Troy.

VERY CLEAN, from the room to the dinning area, pool, lobby etc... we did have a smelly problem with room 308 went down to clerk and she instantly no questions asked got us a new room! Pool was beautiful and a nice way for the kids to wind down especially when we ordered Dominoes which was next door!

Frankly I was a little worried about the recent reviews. However we had a pleasant stay. The hotel was nice and the room was mostly clean. The only thing we noticed was that the dresser hadn't been dusted. The bathroom was very clean as well as the linens. The staff was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

They can't cover up the poor hotel with new appearances! Room was damp, gap under the door that opened to outside that bugs are able to crawl under which they did! Mold on wall and lamp shade, mold in shower/tub caulking, spider webs in ceiling, wall ac unit leaking in room. Need I go on...... I would avoid this place. There are many hotels around this one.

The front desk was no help, basically we inconvenienced them for showing up, hotel room was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed, another review called it lipstick on a pig. Hit the nail on the head. Don't waist your time or money.

Tried to fix up a run down rat trap. The hotel was nasty from the moment we walked in. Front desk wouldn't/couldn't give us any extra blankets. Keys didn't work when we got all the way up to our third floor room. Pool had no towels, although a nice man, who maybe worked for the hotel went and got us some. He was grilling in the pool area that said no food, and wearing a regular T-shirt rather than hotel attire. The room was horrible. The toilet flushes so loud and our daughter was terrified it was going to suck her down. That's honestly what it sounded like. The worst part was the sheets that were stained. Absolutely disgusting.

They may have checked all the boxes to be a Plus on but in reality it is not. Didn't get exterior king room I reserved, I got interior queen. Some people didn't even get a room they reserved because hotel was overbooked. Elevator didn't work. No soap in some rooms. Ankle deep showers because drains don't drain properly and it wasn't just our room. Rooms are small.

The front desk Staff, specifically Andrew and his woman partner made it clear to multiple Clients they don't care about Customer Service. They were putting handicapped Clients, some with walkers, in 3rd floor rooms, EVEN WITH A BROKEN ELEVATOR! How does that work. They told us “we are doing what I've been told” and “I don't care what you think.” Bad start. Room was dirty, floor was sticky, no soap for shower and door and desk surface were dirty. WORST STAY at any hotel during 73-day trip across the US. AWFUL. AWFUL

Entire place was dirty and falling apart! Loose and crumbling drywall, dirty floors, loose light switches and bathroom fixtures, rude front desk staff, broken pool chairs..... I cannot believe they allow this hotel to be Best Western! Health department needs to be called!

At the end of our vacation we needed a place to stay to break up the trip. Finances being what they are at the end of a trip the price had to be right but certain amenities were still needed. This was a wonderful place to stay for the right price. A warm breakfast, pleasant staff and in a good location right off the highway. I'll stay again.

We try to stay at a Best Western whenever possible, and normally not disappointed. This Best Western was what we expected from them. Nice room, clean and modern. Price of $90.00 out the door is a bargain compared to other properties we have stayed in. Front desk was more than helpful. Nice outdoor pool just outside our door. One of the best breakfast buffet's we've had. Hot and cold choices with scrambled eggs, sausage, home fried potatoes, waffles, yogurt, sweet rolls, etc. Excellent hotel, super value.

Room: Black floor glue is oooozing up between the tiles. White specks show through the gray paint on the walls. Tub area: ceiling is flaking off into the tub and onto the floor. Breakfast: says electricity is out and no eggs or bacon BUT waffle iron and coffee maker are working. How can that be??? Line to make waffles is long and there are not enough muffins to go around.

In the past year I have stayed at this hotel four times it never disappoints. The front desk staff is so helpful and friendly, love the availability of a downtown shuttle and the breakfast staff actually talks to the guests and asks them how their breakfast is! As soon as I drive into the parking lot I feel like they roll out the welcome mat! My many trips to Nashville are carefree thanks to this hotel and its staff!

This review is for first floor suites only. I think most of my issues would not be a problem on the upper floors. First, the suites are really two regular rooms with a connecting door. One room has living room furniture in it. Both rooms have bathrooms and sink setups, which was nice. The rooms overall are very nicely furnished. Most of the floor is hard surface, which was odd for a hotel room. I could tell they had not been mopped before our stay. I could see what I hoped were coffee spills on the floor. I did not realize the first floor rooms opened to the outside, steps away from parking spots. I had purposely skipped over other hotels because I was trying to avoid motel setups. In most of the pictures posted on their website the room doors are on the opposite side of the room from the windows which is what I was looking for to confirm entry was from the inside. I obviously missed noticing the doors on the same side as the windows, for the suite photos. BIG MISTAKE on my part. I could barely sleep all night for the noise coming from outside, both vehicles and people walking up and down, not to mention being able to hear the people in the room next door. Every time they flushed a toilet it sounded like a waterfall was in the room. Every time a car pulled up to the parking spaces outside our room it sounded like they were in our room. I wonder if carpet throughout might help with the noise issue. I have stayed in hotel rooms several times this year and this is literally the only hotel I've had this issue at this year. So while I am a fairly light sleeper, I really don't think this was my issue seeing as I didn't have this problem at the other 5-6 hotels I've used this year. Seriously I might have gotten a couple hours sleep. And of course this was the night before my daughter's graduation from Gatton, which was also the day we had to pack up her dorm and drive all the way back home. *yawn* On the plus side, the staff were all very nice and the breakfast was very good! If you get a room on one of the upper floors and they mopped the floor before your stay, I'd say you are probably in a good situation. I do not recommend rooms on the first floor if you are not a deep, deep sleeper.

From the outside, this place looks new and great. Check-in was quick and painless, even though one of the ladies was being trained due to being new, I guess. Once we got into the room, everything changed. Thru the vent in the bathroom, you could hear the other guests' noises and chatter as if they were in your room. Not good. The bathroom mirror had a good sized chip on the lower corner, which was right next to the outlet, so if you weren't paying attention, could cause a badly cut hand, finger, etc. Every wall in the bathroom is tiled, every wall in the bathroom looks like somebody forgot to clean up the grout after installing the tile. And lastly, the water pressure in the shower is weak, at best, and the body wash dispenser was empty. Thanks. The ceiling in the room was peeling as if there had been a leak at some point. And lastly, neither the TV in the room, nor the TV in the breakfast area were HD. Really? This is 2019, not 1986. HDTV in a hotel is pretty much a given, unless, youre just being cheap. We stayed in room #109. You don't want that room.

No hot breakfast as advertised due to “electrical issues”. Leaky ceiling in lobby. Coffee stirrer on room floor from previous guest was NEVER picked up by housekeeping. For 3 full days. Had to make multiple requests for clean towels, daily. Our group had to share towels if we wanted to shower. Was told we could not check in early. When we came back an hour after noted check in time were told rooms were still not ready. Staff would not even attempt to honor requests from mobile check in. Claimed they were not even aware of it Stay away from this hotel.

First room had an exterior entrance near the pool, there was no trim under the door and about an inch + gap. It also looked like the lock had been ripped off the door. The second room we went to had sheets that looked like were stained with Cheetos. Thankfully the front desk was very nice and allowed us to cancel our reservation. It seems some of the hotel is in need of repairs and other parts are not. Just be sure to check your room as soon as you check in.

We had a wonderful time and experience at this hotel. The staff here went above and beyond - especially Audrey and Clark! They are truly amazing. The rooms were great too! Clean and comfortable. Local coffee served with breakfast, don't miss it!

This hotel was very nice & clean,conveniently located to local destinations. The check-in staff was very nice. The only negative is the bathroom was in need of a little update. I would stay here again.

Great hotel and wonderful staff. Only problem in the room was a slow tub drain. Pool was clean. Outside door to guest area was broken and seems to have been that way for a while. Breakfast was great, missed biscuits and gravy day but otherwise great.

I was on first floor outside and had one of the outside entry door to room. Was able to park in front of room to unload car. Room was large and well appointed and bed very comfortable. Staff was great during stay and went out of their way to ensure needs met. The only complaint was the hot entrees on breakfast buffet. Even I had breakfast approximately 6:30 the scrambled eggs nd the sausage links were almost cold.

I had a first floor room that was spacious and well decorated. There were two queen size beds, a work desk with chair, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and free internet (although I did not use it). If you're looking for a nice, clean, affordable room that is close to the interstate and restaurants, this is it.

We were on our way home to Indiana from Florida and decided to stay the night in Bowling Green. Booked online at 10:00pm arrived at 10:30 and had no issues. Very nice rooms and Big Breakfast area. If you find yourself in the area. I recommend staying..

Nice and clean and up to date! People are friendly and go out of their way to take care of you! Great breakfast every day! The area is safe and secure! Several popular restaurants within walking distance! Other restaurants close by within short drive! I am a softball dad and have stayed here many times in the past 8 years!!!

Great hotel, very comfortable and close to several restaurants. Easy access to the interstate as well. Breakfast was very good and was a great way to start a busy day. My room was quiet and I hade a great nights sleep.

Spent one-night at this Hotel and sorry to say it is slipping. We stayed here a year ago and it was awesome. Not so much this time. Pay attention to the details of cleaning and maintenance. Still not bad but hate to see where it is a year from now if not better maintained.

Great hotel to stay at with comfortable beds. The interior was very nice and updated. Very friendly and accommodating front desk personnel. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was good as well!

Stopped for the night on our way home from spring break. Very easy on and off interstate 65. Check in subpar . The gentleman did not welcome us he asked our last name gave us keys and that was it. No direction to elevator which was broken the morning we left , no here is how to get on WiFi. Pretty disappointed. Our room was fine but our bathroom was not clean. Mold in the corner of the tub , paint peeling from the ceiling I'm sure because there wasn't a vent and the grout was filthy. You could see where it should be a light gray or white in areas that weren't as dirty. I would have asked for a room change but we had been stuck in traffic all day and we just wanted to go to bed.

Nice and friendly staff and clean hotel surrounded by multiple choices for food after a full day of driving. One safety tip for BW, fix your broken back doors by the staircase, which look like they have been not cared for in a very long time, and make your nice hotel, less inviting to those who are not guests.

This is an older hotel with new paint. Don't expect a newer ‘Plus' facility. Bathroom is old without a sink. Could not step in and shut door so tiny and cramped. Wish websites were honest. Staff friendly. Room clean enough but facility is old and a bit worn.

Great location. Kind, helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast - there were even a few items that would be suitable for those with food allergies. Comfortable rooms. Right next to Cracker Barrel which is convenient.

The room was clean but the building was old. Ceiling damage in the room was evident. Small room. Breakfast was good. We were satisfied with the room but could use some updating. Room door opened up to outside of building on first floor which was a little strange.

Arrived late at night with our dog and were accommodated even though dogs were not advertised as being allowed. Wife did some time at the gym and I relaxed in the comfortable room. Breakfast included was excellent. Would definitely stay there again in our travels from Florida to to our Collingwood home.

We stayed here one night while passing through town. The room was convenient in that it was accessed through an outdoor hallway. We parked 10 feet away making it very easy. The ro was clean and had everything we needed. The restaurants nearby were busy, but the noise did not affect us. The staff was very sweet and helpful when we asked about places to go for a late dinner.

Room was clean but very small. Bathroom is tiny, but I loved the sink outside of the bathroom. One negative- We didn't have hot water during our visit. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed the coffee, eggs, biscuits, waffles, and potatoes. Hotel was quiet.

Room was clean, but a little cramped. It was a Lille difficult to navigate as we tried to prepare for the day. The beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful and pleasant.. The breakfast was good with a lot of variety.

We've stayed in many BW Plus hotels but this one was very disappointing. Our bed and bathroom were clean but the laminate floors were dirty and needed to be mopped. The heating unit was extremely noisy and not easy to regulate. We had an outside room and because of its close proximity to I-65, there was a lot of highway noise. We will not be returning to this hotel.

Great customer service and really nice staff they made me feel really welcome here. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone as they are also located near a large selection of places to eat as well.

After staying at the Tides Best Western in Orange Beach we stopped at Bowling Green on the way home , The bed was hard which I really liked five pillows on the bed with more than enough to meet our accommodations and the breakfast with good value

I booked and paid for the Fairfield Inn, but was told when I arrived that there was no reservation for me. The kind lady at the desk called the number on my confirmation which was at a different hotel, a Best Western. The accommodations were not what I expected and I paid over $90 for a hotel stay that was actually $60 including taxes! I was so tired by the time I got there that I just went ahead and stayed, but I will never use Trivago or this Cancelon site again. Shady stuff! Very disappointed.

FIrst time staying at this particular hotel. Nice, modern, clean hotel. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the pillows. Good nights sleep, very clean room. Bathroom is rather small, a bit awkward with the door closing. Shower has great pressure. Room has micro/fridge. Hotel staff was very friendly and kind to my guys with autism. FYI, we did hear interstate traffic throughout the night, but this type of thing doesn't bother my group. (We were on the third floor facing west:)

We were in Bowling Green to look around as a possible place to retire. This hotel had a great location, plenty of restaurants close by. The staff couldn't be better! Very friendly and helpful. We stayed three nites, and the place was always clean and inviting. The room was clean and well appointed and breakfast was presented well and tasted great. We;ll be back in our next visit to Bowling Green.

We have stayed here several times before and each time has been a wonderful experience. The front desk is always helpful and the breakfasts can not be beat. Everyone can find what they want to eat for breakfast, there is such a wide selection. The staff even provided Grab and Go meals for some who wouldn't be able to stay long enough for breakfast on site. Very accommodating.

Good visit. Was slightly surprised when we arrived to find out that the first floor has outside entrances (I'm not a huge fan of those), but the rest is inside. We accidentally booked a handicap accessible room and went inside to see if they could change our room. Even though there were very few rooms, they were able to accommodate us with the room change. I felt bad taking a handicap room when we didn't need one! Breakfast was great, the had a large spread available. Room was very comfortable and even though it was updated, you could tell it was a bit older. My main complaint was the outside entrance, which they can't do anything about!

Tiny room, and bathroom. Stain on sheet. Mattress pad ripped really bad. Carpet not swept completely. Really bad paint job on ceiling. Asked for a quiet room and got a room facing the highway. Breakfast was Ok. Thin towels. Door knob broke going to the stairs.

Dark, Dingy, Small Rooms. Stains everywhere. Paper towel stuffed in the eye hole in our hotel room door for some reason. Toilet did not flush properly. I assume very dated with some paint to try and modern it up. Do not recommend. The Lobby is ok. However, once you are beyond that it is not kept well. Any staff we had contact with were friendly.

Lots of seating for breakfast. More choices than necessary. Glueten free toaster for bread. Hot items, included bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles. All types of fruits and drinks and dry cereals. Very large seating area, and large seating area in lobby. Out side pool, and Ryans is right next to it for a good meal. Cracker Barrel on the other side. Had two queen room that was very nicely laid out. They had a large mirror with lights around it, and a large bathtub also. Nice and clean and everything worked well. Microwave and refrig with a office chair and a comfy large chair for seating. Would definitely stay here again.

We were visiting Western Kentucky University with our son and this hotel was a great location. It was near restaurant and shopping. The hotel looked to be newly renovated and very clean. The breakfast bar was amazing with hot and cold options.

We've stayed at this hotel numerous times and have never been disappointed. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Desk and housekeeping staff are very friendly. Breakfast in the hotel is good, there is also a Cracker Barrel across the parking lot.

Updated rooms, very nice. how about management? I stayed at this location about a yr ago and a lot of construction was going on outside to the building. It really looked nice. I was at the front desk checking in, and all I could not hear the lady 5 ft in front of me do to the manager screaming at a employee. I could not believe my ears. very poor management

All over friendly staff, not just front desk. Breakfast was great, and offered many selections including gluten-free and non-dairy. I liked that the selections offered changed each day, for variety. Room was clean. Beds were firm, but comfortable.

Hi, i just want all to know who read this that this was better than the country inn in Nashville and it cost way more than this hotel. this hotel should be at least a 4 star rated hotel. the staff are at your service with a smile as if they owned the place themselves. the breakfast was ok but could use a few improvements. the beds are soft and the rooms are clean. i paid $66.00 total for the night and it was well worth the money.

We stayed here New Year's weekend and all I can say is perfection! I loved everything about this hotel. Staff was nice, rooms were clean, and there was plenty to do right near the hotel. I still want to go back just for that shower and bed! Both were just awesome! They had a Cracker Barrel right next to the hotel, a Waffle House and a gas station right in front of the hotel. There were plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Perfect place to stay and very affordable.

The rooms were very clean, breakfast had a very nice selection compared to other hotels in this price range and the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was top notch. It was a great stay without any issues or complaints whatsoever. Will be back next time were in the area!

We only stayed for one night since we were enjoying a night away from home. Staff was courteous, room was clean and bed slept comfortably. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Just off the interstate. Received free use of plug-in in the parking lot. An unexpected perk. Good internet and two restaurants within walking distance. Fast and easy check out with a continental breakfast.

When traveling back and forth between home and Florida I hate to spend a lot on a hotel just to sleep and shower in. I FOUND THIS GEM. The location is very good, right off the highway. It does have plenty of places to eat and gas stations near by. The hotel it well lit and I felt safe coming in late with my family. I could tell they took pride in their hotel, it was clean and looked as good as it could. The check in was easy and quick. The rooms were very clean and way better than I expected for the price. Beds were good, I slept well. I was really VERY SURPRISED at how great of a breakfast they put on. Big selection, plenty of food out to feed everyone. They didn't skimp. There was plenty of seating. It is a great hotel for the price! If you need to stay in the area on a budget, don't look anywhere else! Staff was very friendly! You can thank me later!! Lol

My stay here was awesome! Front desk was great! Only problem is house keeping knocks at 8/9 in the morning! Other than that everything else was perfect! Everyone was friendly! The bed was great! It was peaceful and relaxing

Spending less than $70 and getting a comfortable and safe place to stay is a good thing! Friendly staff, clean rooms, and decent breakfast. The new look and culture of BW is very welcoming. Hope they can continue to offer value to travelers.

Beds were very comfortable. Nice fluffy pillows. We stayed for four nights. Breakfast was good. They ran out of hot foods on the last day because the supply truck didn't come in but still cereal. Still it was a great visit, everyone was friendly and we will be back.

The hotel staff were great. Parking allowed for easy room access with pets. Foods and services are easily available. The bed was a bit hard. The bedroom was too small to easily use. Parking for large vehicles would be a bit tight.

This is by far the nicest Best Western we have ever stayed at and one of the nicest hotels overall. We were in total shock at the price as we have stayed in places 5x the price that were not as nice. Highly recommend!!!! A++++

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The facility was clean and modern. Hot breakfast was great. So often it is dried out in other facilities but not at Best Western. The rooms were nice our only complaint was the pillow was too hard for our liking. But would stay again.

A poorly run and maintained hotel. The day I arrived for a two-day stay the staff (seemingly unfamiliar with the floor plan) did not know where my room was located; the desk attendant and I spent 20 minutes roaming the halls trying to find it. When I returned to my room at the end of my first day the electronic key no longer worked. The desk staff had to give me a new key because the code had been changed. Most concerning, sometime in the recent past (prior to my arrival) someone had tried to violently break into my room (Room 114). The security bar was torn loose from the door and the door frame had been partly broken loose from the wall. (Thankfully the deadbolt worked.) When I mentioned this to the staff they didn't seem particularly concerned. Additionally, at the far end of the hotel two security doors led to the second floor; both had security locks meant to opened by room keys. But neither of the security locks worked because the handle assemblies of both were ripped loose from their doors. Judging from the appearance of the locks, they had been damaged weeks or perhaps even months prior to my visit. What kind of hotel pays so little attention to guest security? Quite frankly, I expect better of Best Western. Some positives: a nice breakfast and the room seemed to be clean. But this is a hotel to be avoided.

Super nice staff and our room was clean, comfy and quiet. Breakfast was so good - many choices hot or cold. Check in was quick and hotel is right next to Cracker Barrel which we appreciated after a long travel day.

We had a great experience at this hotel! Appeared to have been renovated recently, and our room was just what we needed! Breakfast was also very good, which is important to our family! And Cracker Barrel is just across the parking lot - easy access for any meal!

This was my first Best Western Plus stay and if this an indication of them, then I shall stay at more of them on my travels. From check in to check out, everything was first rate. The room is large and very comfortable, The rate was extremely reasonable and best of all was the breakfast. Many excellent items were offered and the young lady who handled the breakfast room was friendly, fast, and very efficient. My apologies to her as I did forget her name, however, we checked out on Nov 1st. When in Bowling Green, one can do much worse and when my travels again bring me to this area, I will certainly stay here.

Stayed here for a soccer tournament so we had to book the hotel to play in the tournament but it was to be with our team too. Check in was efficient. The room was clean and nice. The bath had the metal screwed in backwards see photo. Other people complained about their drains so I had other soccer team mates shower in my room. Breakfast was nice - eggs and coffee My daughter had the waffles and enjoyed them. It was a small lounge for groups to meet at so we ended up going out. Overall I was disappointed.

The property is located less than a mile off I-65. It took three tries before we finally got a room that was acceptable. The first one had some housekeeping issues. The second room smelled of cigarette smoke. Obviously, a previous guest had ignored the No Smoking policy. Our third attempt was successful. Throughout the search for a room, the desk clerk was apologetic, friendly, courteous and determined to make us happy. Our third room was clean and comfortable, but not the king bed we had reserved. The hallways and room doors could use some sprucing up starting with a fresh coat of paint. A Cracker Barrel is located next door. Several more dinning and shopping choices are within a mile or two. Breakfast was the typical fare. At check out, the desk clerk told us he would credit our account with 1,000 bonus points to make up for the difficulties at check in. We will try a different hotel the next time we are in Bowling Green.

Room was reserved months ago and even received email I day before I was suppose to check in. Rooms are not ready when promised by 3PM and was lied to by woman in blonde hair trying to tell me check in is not till 4pm . I was not the only guest who room was not ready . Guest in front of me also had same problem room was not ready by 3pm. Only heard excuses from both people behind counter. We had lots of guests, some did not check out on time, also the lie about check in time. and a few more things. We were not early to check in but was there at 3PM . and I felt there was lots of attitude from both employees not caring telling a room maybe ready by 4pm. instead of finding solutions to get both of us guests in rooms. I canceled my 2 night stay and went across the street to LQ. The guy behind the counter did not even try to stop me from canceling. I have been a BW guest for a lot of years and even a Gold member. and have never seen such a lack of professionalism and creating the perfect first impression for the guest on creating a life time customer. I will really think twice if I want to stay at any Best Western again if they employ this type of employee. who lack skills. Also was never Greeted as a BW rewards member .

This was the worst hotel stay Ive had in a very long time. My first room had tons of road noise, my second room (which I was TOLD was my only other option) had a moldy ceiling in the bathroom, dingy tile and a shower floor that must not be cleaned because it felt like soap scum under my feet! Muggy 90% humidity reading in the room as well! Next morning a man used a loud leaf blower to move around just a few leaves and even did so inside the partially concealed hallway, which caused the hall and entire room to be filled with toxic exhaust fumes and I got dizzy. They responded in a review that its ok to do this after 11am. What? When is it ever ok to fill rooms with exhaust it pick up from the hallway via the AC? Never. Worst of all after I wrote a review here and on one other site (Ive also filled out the BW survey)and they respond to both by posting my PERSONAL INFORMATION so that any ole stalker can trace my whereabouts as a single female. Ive reported this to Tripadvisor and Best Western. First time I have ever had this happen, despicable people. I will never stay here again and hope you wont either.

This BW Plus was clean and professional. Few things we noted: 1. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet 2. We used the pool, it was very nice. The pool is outdoor so if you arrive after the season is over, there is no pool as it will be closed. 3. The gym was very good. It came equipped with elliptical, a bike, treadmill, a set of weights for weight training, and a machine to work out with cables. It also had a matt for floor work. Water and towels were supplied. All in working condition. 4. Breakfast starts at 7. That was too late for us travelers however, we were welcome to grab whatever items were out already, which included bagels, fruit, yogurt, fresh coffee. This was much appreciated. 5. Gluten Free: We did inquire about gluten free as someone in our party had an allergy. We were provided with a couple options including granola bars and cereal, and sausages which were hot & ready and gluten free. The gluten free sausages was a great plus, but again, we may have been lucky with them being ready given breakfast officially starts at 7m. 6. Popcorn was popped and available to guests at all times of the evening, which was great and reflective of some other brands. 7. The facility was clean. 8. Coffee and tea was available 24 hrs. 9. Staff was courteous and stayed out of our way unless needed which was great and let us explore hotel and use the common areas. 10. Computer was available for guest use. 11. Wi-Fi we used it was fine and easy to connect to. 12. The hotel is in good location and close to many restaurants. Overall we would recommend this hotel and we have no complaints. Thanks for a great stay.

With this being a Best Western and with a high rating, I was shocked at how bad it was. My first room was facing the highway and you could loudly hear all the traffic. Tried another room, it had a moldy bathroom ceiling, dingy dirty shower walls and a dirty shower floor that felt like waxy soap scum under your feet. A very gross feeling! Next morning the grounds guy starts blowing a tiny amount of leaves around the parking lot for no reason, with a loud leaf blower. Worst of all, he thought it a good idea to take his motorized leaf blower into the partially concealed HALLWAY to use. The hall ofcourse filled with exhaust fumes which my AC then picked up so my whole room was full of exhaust fumes and I got dizzy. I had to vent out the room. Unbelievable. And all this for a not so low price. Never again.

Riding in the rain from south of Atlanta, I tried to get a room north of Nashville but found that the two Best Western hotels were no longer there. It was another 45-50 miles to the next BW, but coming through Bowling Green I saw the BW sign. Jordan was more than helpful, he was knowledgeable, polite, informative , fast, and helpful! Food and drink were close by and I would recommend this Best Wester to all!

Staff were very friendly and advised they would be making popcorn in their popcorn trolley soon after check in. Very nice touch. The building is only a few years old and everything was like new. Room and bed were very comfortable. Also quiet. Lots of food choices nearby. The full breakfast was great and a good start to the day.

This BW has been updated and is clean and contemporary.. Bedding and linens were good quality. We chose this for reviews of the pool, as our grandkids can spend hours there on a hot summer day. It did not disappoint. The area was safe and quiet, but still near the interstate. Would stay here again.

I like that place because it was in a good location and the service was good and the place was clean and the swimming pool was good and the view from my hotel room was good and at least I could see the interstate and thru my window.

The Best Western in Bowling Green is very nice. I was looking for a hotel in the area and booked it online just by reading the good reviews. The hotel is clean and appears to be new or newly renovated. The room is a standard room with a microwave, mini fridge and a coffee maker, and clean. The hotel is looked alongside I-65 so request a room on the side facing Mel Browing Street or just wear ear plugs to sleep for the interstate noise. His hotel is located in a very convenient location with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. They offer a free breakfast which consisted of eggs, sausage, potatoes, French toast sticks, make your own waffles with different fruit and candy toppings. They also had cereals, oatmeal, grits, muffins, danish, fresh fruit, coffee with a variety of creamers, teas and hot cocoa. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, it was half the price of other hotels in the area and just as nice.

This hotel backs up to the interstate and is incredibly noisy. We were assigned to Room 118; as we walked the outside walkway to the room, the noise was deafening. When we entered the room, we could see the interstate through the window. Avoid this room if you are a light sleeper. Luckily we were able to change rooms. This new room faced the front road and was so much quieter. This hotel has been remodeled. Its exterior is completely redone so it looks new. The rooms and bathrooms have also been redone, except for the popcorn ceiling. We enjoyed the free popcorn and chocolate cookies when we checked in. There was a line of people checking in so there was a bit of a wait. The room was tastefully decorated with clean, modern lines but the room and bathroom were painted in dark colors which made the room seem darker. The bed was comfy, the linens fresh. The bathroom was spotless but a little tight. The air conditioning worked well even though it was hot and humid outside. There were a couple of maintenance issues that need to be addressed and we mentioned them when we checked out. We mistakenly thought breakfast was at 6:00 AM (it's 6:30 AM). Still, items were already available to us and the breakfast lady turned on the lights earlier for us to have breakfast.That's great customer service! Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel and rooms were clean. All-in-all a nice stay with just a few minor issues.

On a one nighter but a very nice hotel close to everything and handy off the highway. Room was clean and modern and nicely appointed. Hotel has a spacious parking lot and is next door to a Cracker Barrel if their style of food suits your taste.

Overall, great location, great amenities, great value and outstanding staff! Jordan and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond during our stay. We were in town for our family reunion and Jordan made us feel right at home. Each night he made popcorn and put on movies for the youngsters in our group and generally did everything he could to make our stay more comfortable. Additionally, the housekeeping staff members were also great. The rooms are a little small, but clean and the beds are comfortable. My only complaint would be that one of the five rooms we stayed in wasn't properly cleaned before check-in. However, the staff made it good. The hotel is also in a pretty good location. It is right off the highway, next door to a Cracker Barrel with a Waffle House within walking distance. There are other great restaurants and attractions within a short driving distance.

The location of this hotel was good and the are plenty of restaurants within a short drive. The property was clean, beds were comfortable and we had room for us all. Bathroom was a little on the small side, but do-able. Breakfast was similar to other places with the normal things. It was busy just after 7 on Saturday, so you should get there early if you want a table. All in all, we had a good stay.

We stayed for several nights in the suite which has 2 queen beds, 2 bathrooms, and a sleeper sofa. The suite is on the bottom floor so you can hear the noise from your second floor neighbors, especially when they flush the toilet. Not fun when it is in the middle of the night. The room with the couch could use some more lighting. It was a little dark, especially if you wanted to sit on the couch and read. Pros: Spacious suite for a family of 5. Nice breakfast with a rotation of hot items. Outdoor pool for the kids. Selection of the local paper and USA today (really enjoyed that!). Nice staff at the front desk and at breakfast. Cons: On day 1 our room was not cleaned. The front desk said there is a glitch in the computer system so the suite is not always on the list. This was very odd. Then why doesn't housekeeping double check the reservations? We had to get new towels and the front desk gave us a bag to dump our trash. On day 2 we returned to the room at 4 o'clock. The room was straightened up but there was no hand soap for the sink and no towels. The floor was not cleaned at all. The front desk said that housekeeping had not had a chance to finish the room. Were they short staffed that day? We felt frustrated because this was the second day with housekeeping issues. We would probably return if the price was right and knew that the housekeeping issues were resolved. We recommend a top floor room that is away from the interstate if you do not want a lot of noise from cars, trucks, or other people.

We reserved a room for 2 adults, a 13 year old, and two 9 year olds. We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in and had 2 rooms, one with 2 queen size beds, and another room with a huge sleeper sofa. The best part..... 2 bathrooms!

I stay at a lot of BW. this one is the best one I've ever been at .great location clean room pool area great. breakfast are great. staff out going.maintance person was johnny on the spot.This should be a PLUS hotel. Got my vote.

It was nice. It's not a very big hotel but it was clean and comfortable. My husband and I just got away for a night. We travel with a lot of different things cause being in the ministry you never know when or what time someone is going to need you to come to their needs.

We booked w/ this hotel because of the online reviews. After our stay we wondered if we were at the wrong place. Our first room had LOTS of mold on the ceilings & the air conditioner didn't cool well. We moved. That room was better but the lighting in the vanity was terrible & it's a tight fit. The young lady @ the front desk was wonderful.

I have mixed feeling about the facility. I was excited because it was fairly new. They have very comfy bedding and awesome breakfast. The staff was great and the only problem I had was that such a new facility had such a noisy air conditioner. The refrigerator in the room made an awful noise when it ran. The first time, I thought the alarm clock was going off but then figured out where it was coming from. I reported it to the front desk and other than someone sitting in the room waiting for it to turn on, they would never have heard it. The second night I just left the TV on all night to drown it out. It was clean, everyone was helpful ... just not sure I would want to listen to the air conditioner again

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in June, 2018. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room was located on the side next to I 65 and we could hear the road noise. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to be in the other end. The breakfast was good and gets you off to a good start to your day! There is a Cracker Barrel next door which we ate at for dinner. We would definitely stay here again! Staff was friendly!

Stayed here overnight on a trip to tour Kentucky Bourbon Trail. The staff was super and the complimentary breakfast in the morning had many choices and was excellent. The room itself was clean and comfortable but was a little smaller than what we are accustomed to. The bathroom layout was a little odd as well due to the small footprint of the room. Overall it was okay for a one night stay but would look elsewhere if planning a multi-night stay.

In the summer it's nice to find a hotel with an outdoor pool as opposed to the stuffy, over chlorinated smaller pools. Made reservation online, showed up and had a quick and easy check in. Hotel looks as though it's an older one that has been updated. Rooms were clean with good AC, mini fridge and microwave. Bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept on but not the worst either. Popcorn in the lobby and breakfast was biscuits, gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs, waffle griddle along with the normal cereal, bagels, and pastry. Honestly the only complaints were about the wifi in our room was very slow so kids couldn't stream movies. Not sure if that had anything to do with our location in the building or not. Bathroom was a tad bit on the smaller side for a family of 4 but for a middle priced older hotel it suited our needs well.

The Best Western was conveniently located for our over night stay while travelling through the area. The hotel is quiet and clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was reasonable. Breakfast was good. Only criticism is that the hotel's appearance is so-so from the outside and could use a major re-dressing. There were plenty of various types of restaurants in the area.

Very clean, like it was brand new. Large rooms. Nice pool. Large breakfast area. Hot food for breakfast. Very friendly staff. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. They even had a movie night in the lobby where they showed three free movies and served free popcorn. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet hotel. They have a popcorn machine that you can get a snack from (it is free). We had a third floor room that had two queens in it. But the mattress on the bed was a lot softer than I am use to. The door to our room was very heavy, almost like a fire door. But it made us feel more secure than other hotels. Breakfast was alright.

The hotel was in a great location with great restaurants nearby. The hotel is very clean and looks very new. The room was also very clean and comfortable. Only complaint would be that the room was a bit small for 2 queen beds, and it was very difficult for my wife with a bad back to get into the same bed as me, so we would up sleeping separately for that night.

Enjoyed staying here. Really nice, clean, new furniture, and free popcorn in the afternoon. Love that coffee is available all day and night. Convenient to restaurants and gas stations too. Reasonably priced. Thanks!

If this were a downtown hotel rather than on "hotel row" off the highway, this would match many so-called boutique hotels. Strikingly designed exterior, comfortable rooms, attentive staff. Front desk crew deserves a special shout-out for remaining as friendly as they were during busy check-in, check-out. Breakfast was standard and tasty, but it's also an easy walk to a Waffle House. Because of its location, everything to do in Bowling Green is a drive away, but the hotel was part of a much better-than-expected visit to Western Kentucky.

Very nice hotel, the decor is perfect for beginning of my corvette museum intro. The breakfast staff was very accommodating in making sure we were very satisfied with all items of the breakfast experience.

We stayed here as a family of 4 plus child for a 1-night stopover on route to northwest Florida. We had to change rooms shortly after check-in in due to an odd smell, but the 2nd room was clean, modern and provided all needed comforts for a restful night before another long day of driving. The included breakfast in the morning was great. If you are in the area and want something no frills but quality for a good price, I would recommend this location.

It was a very nice hotel and the staff was very friendly. My room was clean My only caution is that there are no screens on the windows which open very wide. I was on the third floor and felt that this was a safety hazard.

I stay at Best Westerns a lot and was very impressed by this one. A large remodeled lobby that opened to a lounge area with large TV. I was greeted by two nice ladies who checked me and recognized by Diamond Elite level. Our room was very clean, remodeled and one of the best I have seen. I used the gym that is small but had new equipment in it with a large flat screen TV. Fairly typical hot breakfast for BW, although they switched from fried eggs one day to scambled the next and Bacon to Sausage.

Very nice hotel, I was surprised it was not a BW Plus. Large modern lobby, lounge area, and breakfast room. The room was nice, large flat screen TV. Gym was not huge but all new machines. Breakfast was good, hot eggs, sausage/bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits.

I was so surprised to see how our room did not rank up with the other reviews. We ordered in and I dropped something on floor so naturally went to clean it up. To my disgust the floor was so filthy my rag was entirely black. So to think you take shower, walk on floror to only bring the filth of others into my bed...yuck!,, Pictures attached, room 132.

Had a long day of motorcycling and was tired. Found the hotel to be clean and neat looking upon arrival. Check in was quick and clerk was friendly. Room was very nice and very comfortable. Price was higher than other hotels in the vicinity but the BW was nicer in my opinion.

Breakfast is very good with a variety of hot and cold items. Especially liked waffles and muffins. Breakfast attendant was very attentive to customers and supply of food and drinks. Scrambled eggs baked in muffin tin were a bit different, but OK with salsa provided as condiment. Our room (207) faced the outdoor pool and courtyard close by I-65. Noise of I-65 traffic seemed to be amplified, maybe by walls of hotel on three sides of the courtyard. It was so loud my wife thought our room window was open. Only the hum of the running AC unit made it possible to go to sleep. The hotel or KDOT needs to install a sound barrier between I-65 and this hotel (and presumably the other hotels nearby). There were 3 of us in our room, but only one wash cloth provided. A call to the front desk revealed that the hotel had no more wash clothes. The front desk sent additional bath towels when we suggested hand towels as a replacement for the missing wash clothes. Oh, well. Overall the hotel appears to be new and clean, even if a bit stark in decor. The bathrooms are very small, less than a foot between the toilet and the shower in our case. The hotel is easy access off and back on I-65. Fixing the I-65 noise problem would push my rating up at least one notch.

This B/W motel in Bowling Green, KY is our 1st choice every time we attend a National Corvette Museum event because it is always a great place to stay. Why?: clean rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast with quite a variety of items, close to the Cracker Barrel next door, easy on/off the Interstate, close to a good car wash(couple blocks to the east), and most times good pop corn in the lobby. The lobby is very comfortable and great for easy visiting with fellow travelers and/or Corvette folks.

My wife and I stayed here three nights while in town for an event at the National Corvette Museum. We had never stayed in this hotel, but with our two usual choices already booked at the time we reserved, I decided to take a chance as the property looked nearly new. Bottom line, we were very pleasantly surprised. The Pro's: Easy check-in, except the young man at the front desk was a real talker. Hard to listen to when you've already driven 660 miles and your bladder is full (not for the entire 660 miles). Can't fault him for being friendly though. The lobby was nice, with free popcorn available for snacking. There was, however, an obviously missing TV on the wall. Wires, yes. TV, no. No harm though. The room was nicer than we expected and we received good housekeeping services throughout; a comfortable King bed and plenty of decent pillows; good HVAC system that was not loud or buzzy; small bathroom but an excellent shower with a Speakman showerhead and great pressure; a good-sized freestanding closet with enough hangers; a nice flat panel TV with plenty of channels (although some were not HD like at home); enough lighting that we didn't feel like we were staying in a cave; and a good small fridge and microwave oven. One other big plus was the quality of the breakfast. We were very impressed with the hot choices of eggs, sausage that actually tasted like real sausage, excellent bacon, potatoes, biscuits, and gravy (very much on the bland side though). It was clear that this BW puts a premium on good breakfast quality, and the hostesses did a fine job keeping things stocked. Our normal experience with hotel breakfast is to just skip it, but this one we ended up looking forward to. Nice job! As for the Con's, there weren't any, really. As other reviewers mentioned, the first-floor rooms are outside entry only, which also means that to get to the lobby or to the breakfast area, you have to walk outside. No big deal for us, but maybe a problem in the winter months. I paid a daily rate that I thought was very fair, so that checks the value box. Overall, a solid choice, and we would definitely consider a return to this BW for our next trip to Bowling Green.

This is a new hotel that needs to update their staff in order to have a GREAT hotel. Our room was not fully cleaned, the tile floor had not been swept or mopped as was evidenced by the popcorn on the floor. I was able to see fingerprints and smudges on the desk and the room only came with one washcloth. I was able to get more but the trip to the front desk had me waiting for the cleark to come back to the front desk.

We expected so much more from Best Western (BW). The tile floor in our room was dirty and when housekeeping came to mop it we were told it was the gray paint coming off the floor that looked like dirt and was on the bottom of our feet and socks. Whatever BW!...please get a new floor if that is the case. The fan on the cooler/heater had terrible rattle. We could hear highway traffic all night. I had gnats in my face when I was reading, several moths flew out of the furnace and there were roly-poly's on the floor. The shower head didn't work right. The TV was not an HD picture. The entrance and outdoor hall to our room was dark, scary, and cluttered with debris. There was no sidewalk from our front door to the lobby so you had to walk through the parking lot. The trash can outside had a door that was broken and had to be closed with 2 stones. The 1 star we gave the hotel was for the comfy bed and discount they staff gave us for the complaints noted above.

Modern hotel but door didn't seal properly. It was like a wind tunnel and then the smoke alarm starts chirping at 1130pm. Smallish bathroom and for a change, this hotel actually has the spray for the waffle iron.

I have to admit I was very skeptical and went in expecting issues after unpleasant stays at Best Western hotels in other locations elsewhere in the country, but I'm happy to say this one is thankfully nothing like them. The room was clean and quiet. The check in process was quick and efficient and even the breakfast was nice. The most pleasant surprise at breakfast was the availability of coconut milk so I could eat my cereal (I have a Milk allergy and do not care for Soy or Almond Milk).

This is a clean and quiet hotel right off I-65. The breakfast included waffles with various toppings such as chocolate syrup and whipped cream which my girls loved. It also had eggs, potatoes and sausages which were all good. A nice, clean, quiet place to stay.

Very clean hotel, nicely remodeled, Beautiful blue, gray, and chrome interior. Big TV in lobby and big TVs in the rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Even had a movie night with popcorn, reasonably priced hotel. Breakfast buffet had a lot of extras That You Don't See other places.

We arrived late at night with reservations. Upon arrival, one of the front desk workers was joking around and also complaining about having to stay to work breakfast the next morning. The other worker tried to reassure her that it wouldn't be that bad. Then my husband got pulled into it when the other worker said to my husband, “tell her it won't be that bad.” Not exactly professional - they probably thought they were being funny but was unnecessary for us to be part of it. Beds were ok. No express checkout so we were glad we stopped at the desk to drop keys off, etc. and get paperwork/receipt. No strong feelings on if we would stay here again or not when passing through.

Very nice experience, all you need when traveling with family. Late check-in, was quick and Michael at the front desk matched the travel website price that we have an issue to book through the app. Hotel is very comfortable, next to the highway, clean and cozy with pleasant breakfast served from 6:30-9:30 am. Highly recommending.

First time we have stayed at a Best Western. This facility was very nice and clean, and the staff were very professional and personable. No issues with our stay at all and we will definitely consider them more in the future.

My husband and I stayed at Best Western Bowling Green as a stopover driving from FL to WI. We booked this hotel through Expedia before we left for our trip and had no problems booking this way or once we arrived at the hotel. Our hotel room was a handicap with a king bed. We book a king bed through Expedia and upon arrival were told all they had left with a king bed was a handicap room. They said the only difference was no tub only a shower. This was not a problem for us at all. Our room was on the ground level by the pool and had an outside entrance, which we loved). The room was clean and was very trendy. It seemed very up-to-date. The in-room amenities were all that we needed (soap, shampoo, coffee, and cups). When it comes to hotel rooms we want CLEAN and it was. Our check-in and check-out were very easy. Jordan at check-in was very friendly and helpful. We didn't really need help with anything but he offered if we did and I witnesses him help others in a very friendly way. It was nice seeing someone happy to do their job for a change. One of the nices parts of Best Western Bowling Green was the continental breakfast. As far as continental breakfasts go it was amazing. It was clean and the staff working this area were extremely friendly and on point. They were constantly refilling food and keeping the area clean. The breakfast was huge. They offered waffles, toast, cereal, eggs, biscuits, grits, gravy, sausage and turkey sausage, fruit, pastries, bagels, yogurt, etc. It was all very nice and a great way to start off our long drive home. We ordered Pizza Hut while we stayed here and had no issues with it being delivered to the hotel either. Pizza Hut even brought us plates, napkins, cups, and straws. I would highly recommend Best Western Bowling Green and if I am ever in the area again I know where I am going to stay.

We were on our way north for a family emergency. Booked the room at this hotel. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Very nice. Truly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good. Room clean. For the price , we will stay again.

Kate at checkin made us feel very welcome. The room was nice but frig still had pass guest items and bathroom could have been cleaner. The breakfast was great with a good selection of hot and cold items and staff was very friendly.

I was very impressed with my stay at this Best Western. Rooms were very clean and the continental breakfast was delicious. My favorite part of the motel was the Corvette decor they used! Thank you very much!

Front Desk agent was very friendly and funny. Hotel has been updated. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Hotel is right off the highway and easy to get to. Would definitely stay here again. Only downside was when I left for dinner, the traffic was backed up trying to make a left at the light. Not sure is that is normal for that time of day.

Spent back-to-back weekends here during holiday traveling. Every staff member we encountered was over-the-top pleasant, especially Mrs. Christy who was supervising the awesome breakfast area. Third floor was great, but I personally didn't care for the outdoor-access and no carpeting in room 133. (The only reason we ended up in that room was to be near our inlaws who requested a suite on the first floor.) Better-than-average breakfast selection. Terrific price. My only criticism was not being able to control the heat very well, but it was not problematic enough to mention it to any staff members. We stay in Bowling Green A LOT in our travels, and will definitely be back.

We did not ask but this place looks rather new. Very comfortable rooms and clean. Best deal you can get for the price. Well situated close to the I-65. We were impressed by the quality of every service received. Early workers are certainly disapointed with the fact that breakfast is only served at 6:30 in the morning. Company should reconsider.

Stopped in our way down to Florida. Ideally located just off I65 . Most big chain restaurants were close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room were clean and the bed was most comfortable. The dining area had lots of seating and we loved the warm breakfast. Definitely would stay there again.

Stopped over on our family trip. The facility and the rooms are updated and excellent. The continental and warm breakfast was also good. I would have no reservation in using this hotel again. Friendly staff and extremely reasonable pricing.

everything was not bad except late breakfast. It starts 6:30 during week days and 7:00 on weekends. No indoor pool. Internet speed was average. Cable tv was very bad. The coffee maker's coffee set was clean and good system.

Nice stay. Great price. We have a small dog so we needed a pet friendly room. It was very nice. No odors at all. We like Best Western as they have pretty much the same standards everywhere. We can count on them for consistency.

Bullitt Central Boys Basketball Team had a great experience during their stay at Best Western in Bowling Green for the second year in a row. Staff was friendly and worked to make the stay great. Breakfast bar got our day off to a good start each morning. Hope to return again next year. Trista Moritz and all staff were excellent!

Only outside entrances were available to,pet owners when I had stayed the night before in a wonderful spacious indoor/hall entrance Best Western. Had to change rooms to the other side of the building because of a broken door lock. Jordan helped us move our things because the thin, unstable 3-wheel luggage cart was difficult to use.

Late arriving and everything went well checking. In . Breakfast was one of best we have had. Food was hot and kept well stocked. Room was very clean and beds real comfortable.checkout was real simple and easy.

Just needed a comfortable, inexpensive place to sleep for a few hours on our road trip south, and we were very pleased with this BW. Complimentary popcorn in the lobby when we checked in, even when it was midnight, and clean rooms with very comfortable beds. The only "complaint" was that the bathrooms were a bit small, but they were completely adequate for the quick shower we needed. The nicest surprise was the totally awesome breakfast the next morning. Wide variety, great tasting, and warm. We will return to this BW.

Always a great stay with Best Westen. Service is always wonderful and the rooms are very clean. Whenever I travel I stay with Best Western or Best Western Plus. Very safe if you are traveling alone !!

If you need an inexpensive place to stay this is a great choice. The staff is friendly and efficient. The hotel has been freshly updated. Breakfast buffet is has a good selection. Convenient location. Downsides: highway noise and drafty doors (only an issue if it's cold out)

I was all set to give this place at 3 but my mom left her tablet in the lobby in the hotel called and told us immediately so they can afford. It's clean but not fancy that people are nice they have breakfast and coffee and tea and if you bring something to their attention that isn't quite right they'll fix it immediately. Good for an overnight stay

My husband and I needed to stop for the night on a trip home from Ohio and chose this hotel for its low price. We were very surprised with how well maintained and clean this hotel was. Very clean updated room, staff was very friendly, bed comfortable, water hot and pressure was good, surrounding area clean and well lit. High value hotel for low price tag!

I think my review title pretty well tells the story. Good management, new facility, located right on interstate 65 next to many good restaurants, Cracker Barrel is across the parking lot. I definitely will stay here again.

Travelling week of Thanksgiving, we stopped here. We arrived a little late to cover lots of miles, and allow mid-day arrival at our destination. Front desk clerk was outstanding, pleasant, cheery, and helpful. We thought hotel was month or two old because of how good it looks. Room comfortable and clean. After good night's sleep, breakfast was excellent. Good selection, and again, helpful and cheery staff manning the area. Morning desk clerk like the others - all consistently helpful and pleasant. Good place to stay. Will definitely consider does next time we're in the area.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. A friendly staff was available if needed. The hot breakfast buffet met our needs and saved us time seeking a restaurant. We enjoyed our stay, but did find the internet connection very slow. We would stay here again.

This is now our favorite hotel in Bowling Green. On check-in, our large family was warmly welcomed by Jordan, who went out of his way to deliver great service. He even had a movie night going, complete with popcorn! On check-out the next morning, Kay was equally friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was above-average. The hotel rooms are roomy and clean - with all the amenities we needed. We will definitely go back. Thank you, Jordan and Kay!

The staff were above and beyond with professionalism, kindness, and accommodation!! It was an excellent stay. The appearance of the hotel and grounds is very attractive, as was my room. The dining area is extremely clean, and the food was plentiful. The front desk and sitting area are well maintained, and very attractive. This is a very quiet location, and the room is extremely comfortable!! The location is absolutely perfect!!! Bowling Green has so much to offer travelers and visitors will be very pleased with everything that this wonderful city has to offer. One may even begin to think of moving to town! I have no complaints, whatsoever! Should I give it a rating between 1-10, the rating would be a 10+

We only needed a room for one night. All the room was well decorated and coffeemaker and mini fridge included. There was an odd smell but after a while it seemed to dissipate. Smell in Hallway mainly rooms fine.

This was a King accessible room on what they call the quiet side of the hotel. We had stayed in their other King accessible room in the summer and since it was next to the pool it was noisier. However, the pool one might be quieter when the pool is closed since the parking lot is by these rooms. The room did have a door to the outside but you can't walk straight out of it to the parking lot since they have what looks like a metal weather/windbreak on the other side of the sidewalk. A sidewalk runs along the outside wall where all the room outside doors open to. You have to go to the left or right and go to the end of the weather break and there is a ramp and handicap parking at each end. So if you like the outside door to have a straight shot out to your car you won't get it but it is better than going through the lobby, etc. if you prefer the outside doors. Also, the weather break acts like a bit of a sound break too so it is a little quieter than ones that have a straight shot out to the parking lot. I have previously posted pictures of their pool side accessible room and this room looks the same and has the same problems I saw in that room. You can see that review for more data but the big problem I have with their rooms is that although they did hard surface on part of the floor they did carpet around the bed and out from the bed some. They then put a rubber transition strip from the hard surface to the carpet that a wheelchair has to roll/bump over. My chair would always get stuck on the transitions and the it would take a little effort to get over them. It is still better than carpet in the entire room though. The do have the wheel in shower, with another bump.(Check pictures on previous review. They do provide a shower seat.

I made a reservation for two rooms for our family as a midway stop on our way to the Gulf Shores (16 hour drive). After reading reviews, I requested on phone and in writing for our reservation that we stay facing away from the freeway due to noise. I also requested that we be placed together as we are a family with teens. When we checked in, none of our requests were respected, or even looked at. We spoke with the Manager, Kay, who promised if we gave the hotel a chance for our return trip that she would make sure we had a great experience. Lo and behold....a week later, after both calling and also putting our request in writing, giving Kay's name even, we checked in, on two separate floors, and still facing the freeway. The staff seemed nice, hotel adequate, breakfast area nice, just unable to respect a request or stand by their word. Moral of this story. If you think it can't get worse...try again, it will.

Wow! I have worked in high end hotels for most of my life and I was amazed at the level of service and cleanliness in this little gem. Every guest is given a mini tour of where everything is, i.e., breakfast room, living room (nicely appointed with a large screen TV and comfy chairs and couches) and then guided to your room. The staff was amazingly helpful and professional. The young man, especially so. We were there the night of November 9 if you could give him a shout out. The entire hotel was absolutely spotless. Unfortunately I wasn't able to sample the complimentary breakfast as I had to leave too early but based on everything else I'll bet it was great! Nice job Best Western. You know how to pull in your guests! Outstanding guest services.

Very clean and modern building. Located close to Restaurant's and other important conveniences. Breakfast was amazing and staff was on the ball. The bathroom was cramped but functional. Plan on staying there again if the opportunity arises.

Definitely an amazing price, for a quick stay. Beautiful rooms, very clean. The bed was a little firm and the pillows were quite fluffy, didn't sleep that great, but great ambiance and a very filling breakfast is offered. Right in the middle of restaurants, where there is something for everyone.

This hotel was very modern and the beds were comfortable. It was only 30 min from Mammoth Caves and also a very short drive to Bowling Green. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was warm and tasty.

As a result of late planning my usual hotel choices were booked for this weekend visit. Like many I checked out their reviews right here on TripAdvisor. The place looked familiar but I just couldn't remember it. Turns out it was formerly a Clarion property that was across the street from a hotel I often stay at. After multiple viewings of reviews I decided to book. Yes the rate was reasonable compared to my usual choices in Bowling Green. In a way that concerned me. Upon arrival the first thing I noticed upon entering the lobby was the distinct musty smell. I even asked the clerk if the place had ever been flooded. In all fairness after a day it was not as noticeable and I assume the staff were around so much it didn't stand out to them. My suggestion is to invest the small price and install some automatic air fresheners for new arriving guests. As we were early arriving, 1 PM, the only rooms ready for occupancy were rooms facing the interstate. Another thing I noticed as an issue for many reviewers was the noise on that side. The clerk was happy to let us go view the rooms and we decided to take the interstate facing rooms. The noise didn't seem to be excessive during our walk through. Both rooms were very nice and as presented in their hotel information. Although the musty smell was found in both rooms as well the hallway. We eventually cured that with multiple candles. Then later in the evening around bedtime the noise of the traffic was so bad that the only way I could sleep was to place a pillow over my head. In fairness to the hotel my father had no issues with the noise in his room right beside me. It boils down to if you are a light sleeper then stay away from the rooms facing the interstate. The breakfast setup was vey well presented and attended to. In conclusion I will say that the hotel met my expectations and the staff was very proficient. If you plan on staying just bring candles and or air freshener. And by all means if you are a light sleeper don't get a room facing I65.

I stay at several BW when I travel and this one by far is the best I've stayed at. Clean rooms and lobby. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and wifi. Easy to get to and restaurants in walking distance.

Our experience at this hotel was very good. Each of the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. Even with a disgruntled guest ahead of me at checkout, the clerk remained poised and courteous. I was impressed by her handling of that situation as well as the next guests. Some would have complained to the next people in line, but not this young lady. Kudos to her and to this hotel!

We stopped in, late at night, looking for occupancy. The front desk was very friendly. We had a room with 2 queen beds. The room was very clean. We noticed a musty odor when we came in but room was clean. The bathroom area is very small. We would stay here again. Breakfast was good. The staff kept all the food filled. The breakfast area was clean & well maintained. Many choices: eggs, biscuits/gravy/waffles & much more. For the price, I feel like we got a decent room.

The hotel was newly finished and they were very good in choosing the staff. The staff were very helpful to all the guests in the wedding party. They helped us find places to check out during our stay, the morning meal was great and the snack in the afternoon was great.

Nice place! We enjoyed the breakfast, and the helpful staff. It's was so nice to relax here after visiting the Corvette Museum, Shaker Village and electronic gaming facility. It would have been great to spend at least one more night here and go to Churchill Downs. We'd like to come back and stay again and see more sights!

We went to stay at this Best Western tonight (9/29) as a one night stay on our way to Nashville. Based on all the other reviews we thought this property would certainly meet our needs-primarily that of being clean. First issue arose when we were given a room with first floor outdoor access: I thought this was peculiar given that this isn't a motel but a hotel, but we went in to get settled. The outdoor access became an issue when the smell of smokers cigarettes started constantly coming into the room even after asking the front desk if they could do something about the cigarette butt disposal near our door. Then when we started looking around the room that's when we finally packed up to leave. Multiple instances of hair or other something not cleaned by cleaning staff, mystery brown splatters all over the walls, and brown smears on the floors. To say I was disgusted was an understatement. I'm not entirely sure what happened as all the other reviews seem so positive but we went back to the front desk and informed them we were leaving. I give 100% of our thanks to Jordan for viewing the room with us to see our concerns and noting them, however there's pretty much no chance we'll be trying a Best Western again after this experience. I also want to add that the room was dungeon-like dark from the charcoal grey paint-it was hard to even take my makeup off, so I'd advise management to consider overhead lighting and/or repainting to manage this. Thankfully another local hotel had room for us and we are comfortably resting in a clean room as I type. This was the only hotel my husband and I have ever left early in the 10 years we've been together.

This was the best night of the trip, Jordan was a hoot hosting movie nights in the lobby. Sorry we were so tired would of liked to stay for another movie..Creed was very good and popcorn to boot. Breakfast was great and the lady running it was very friendly. If you are heading to the Corvette Museum I would stay here.

I stayed 4 nights. Had several issues. Card keys for my 3 rooms had to be replaced almost every time we left our rooms. Ridiculous!! Towels smell musty. Bath tub was very slick. I fell and injured my hip. There was evidence of other people slipping as the shower curtain rod was pulled down and loose.

I am very happy that We chose to stay at BW in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Check-in was a breeze with Ronnie and the full breakfast was a surprise and well presented and delicious. I will even say this is the best stay we have had at any Best Western.

Host was very helpful, first room had mold on wall above bed, he quickly gave us another room, rooms are spacious, very neat (except our first room) gave us a discount on our 2 night stay, close to shopping mall for food and fuel, king bed bed was very comfy, tv remote doesn't have guide button so you have to go through each channel till you find the show you want do provide you with a paper channel sheet shower was a walk in very large area, lots of towels, hot breakfast has large variety pool was clean and refreshing, can pick up snacks for the day(n/c) froze our freezer packs staff went above and beyond . lobby had movie area with free popcorn

We spent a short overnight recently at the Best Western in Bowling Green and enjoyed our stay. Other reviews here mentioned musty rooms and we found ours musty on entry, too. We turned the a/c way down cold and as the air dried out, it was better. Of course, that meant we needed the blankets to sleep in the air a little cooler than we would have picked. Unfortunately -- no fault of the hotel -- there was a widespread power outage for around two hours just when we had planned to have an early breakfast and depart. (Probably this was due to weather, as there had been heavy rains for several days.) Although this wasn't their fault this did mess with our plans. We had planned to eat very early and get on our way; with the power outage we figured we'd better depart even an hour earlier and stop for breakfast on down the road. So we packed in an entirely dark room by the light off our cell phone. Once we got into the hallway we found the emergency lighting more than adequate and had no trouble getting to the stairs and outside. After loading the car we made our way to the lobby, unsure exactly how we were going to check out -- and then the lights came on. (There had been no electricity for two hours.) The desk manager graciously allowed us to take some pastries and coffee in the car with us, but we elected not to wait until the full breakfast was set out.

We had an excellent stay at the Bowling Green Best Western. The new hotel (or at least it looked that way- it was so clean and modern!) We stayed one night here but would definitely liked to have stayed longer. The hotel and our room were very clean, breakfast was delicious and fully stocked for the full hotel. The outdoor pool and nightly movie were a hit with my family! Kudos!

Overall very pleased with this stay. Nothing negative to say about quality of facilities room was very clean and tidy with nice furniture but there was a strange stale smell not overwhelming but definitely was noticeable.

The hotel is beautiful from the outside and the lobby is very nice. But our room was EXTREMELY dark!! All the walls are painted a dark gray and, except for the sink and bathroom, the light has a hard time overcoming it. The bathroom is divided with the toilet and shower separated by a door from the sink, making the toiler/shower area miniscule and claustrophobic. The beds were relatively comfy. Breakfast was okay.

We stayed here two different times. During both, the front desk staff could not have been nicer or more friendly. The breakfast was above average and the hotel appears newly decorated and the beds were comfortable. Couple things I didn't care for...despite having a prior reservation requesting a quiet room, we got stuck next to the highway and it is loud, even with the AC on all night. So if you're a light sleeper, arrive early and ask for the side away from the highway. Good water pressure, so the toilets sound like jet planes when flushed. Once again, if you're a light sleeper, ask for the top floor. And a pet peeve...please install toilet seats that are big enough to cover the actual toilet bowl. Most women do not like sliding around on a cheap plastic seat, only to end up half on the bowl itself. If we're in the area, would not hesitate to stay again though, toilet seat and all.

We stayed on our way to view the eclipse. The hotel was full. Staff were friendly, helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. All amenities we needed were there. Beds are pillow top. Microwave and fridge in room, also iron and hair dryer provided. Breakfast was amazing! So many choices, and well stocked, even with such a large crowd. There is a nice dining area available to sit for breakfast.

The rooms were comfy, beds comfortable, and breakfast included sausage and eggs. The staff went out of their way to return a nice white shirt I had left there because it blended into the sheets on the bed when I was gathering my things. Very appreciative of their efforts. Some of the design features were not well thought out: All the first floor rooms are only accessible from outside but there is no sidewalk around the building. So once I unloaded my bags onto the dolly, I ended up having to truck them around the cars parked along the side of the building to get to my room. From my room, I had to go through two card-keyed doors to get to the pool. The card-readers were disabled on both doors which would allow an intruder to access the second floor rooms without going through the lobby after hours.

when we arrived the out side was clean with plenty of parking. Check in was fast, with the desk clerk being friendly and helpful. The room was clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. The shower had good water pressure and was clean. Breakfast was good with plenty of food. Breakfast room was clean and well kept. .

Overall, this is a very good value for the price with a nicely updated décor and a number of nice amenities. The rooms are nice although quite small and for the most part, was clean. If you're passing through and need a good place to stay, this would meet the criteria very well ..

Looked for a hotel in the Bowling Green area for one night while dropping my daughter off at college. The price was in the normal range for the area. The outside appearance was very good as was the lobby area. Our room had a muggy high humidity feel but it was very hot outside. The only thing I didn't like was not having a vent fan in the bathroom. This added to the humid feel. The staff was great. I would recommend this hotel for others.

Even though this was a remodeled hotel, our room had a very strong smoke order. The air-conditioner didn't work well either, so all of us had a terrible sleep all night. The room was tiny and the price paid was well above what it was actually worth. Will not stay there again.

This was our first visit to this Best Western hotel and it met all our needs. I believe this is a renovated property from another chain and they did an outstanding job. I thought the decor was updated and modern and it was very clean and comfortable. We had some party kids across the hall playing their tunes and going in and out of the room but we didn't hear them once inside so we got a great nights sleep. Great outdoor pool! Very pleasant and helpful staff. I would stay here again! One thing to note though, there is a feature that we thought was cool but would not be good for everyone: the beds are a little higher than average. My mom is older and might have had a little difficulty. We liked it though!!! Very comfortable!!

This hotel is in a safe area. The breakfast bar is great. Nice staff. Price is comparable and competitive with other hotels around it. Pool area is clean. However, like other travelers have stated -the king rooms are not carpeted and the floors will make your feet or socks dirty. The access is directly to parking lot or back area with the pool and highway traffic. So if you think those things will bother you- ask for a room on 2nd or 3rd floor. But for the price, friendly staff and overall - I would choose this hotel again.

We stayed for one night and it is a very nice place to stay. Access from the Interstate was convenient, the hotel has a very nice curb appeal, the lobby was busy but the staff member waited on us as soon as he could. Even though our room faced the interstate, we did not have any issues with traffic noise. If we are ever in Bowling Green KY again we will stay at this Best Western:)

The breakfast that was offered was pretty skimpy, (lacking any chafing dishes of hot food) but the room was neat clean and comfortable. Service was quick and efficient. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.

We stayed 1 night. Clean and an okay breakfast. Breakfast was your normal BW complementary yogurt, beagles, waffle machine, etc. The hotel is either new or newly remodeled. It is easy to locate right off the interstate. We visited the Corvette Museum the next day. Cracker Barrel is next door. They have a little bridge to get there.

The staff is very friendly. The room was very clean and pretty room. Had a microwave, mini fridge and desk in the room. There was some highway noise in room 305, but nothing that kept me awake. Good selection of breakfast items including waffles.

We stayed two nights to visit mammoth cave. The first night didn't go so well since we found a spider in our bed. However, the front desk staff bent over backwards to ensure our comfort. Gave us a different room that was clean and by the pool on the first floor, a pack and play for the baby, and only charged us for one night. The hotel is updated and generally clean, pool is nice and clean, breakfast was decent. The staff and customer service is what saved my review from being lower due to the spider in the bed. Really, spiders can be anywhere and that's not always something you can control, but nobody likes that thought when trying to sleep at night. But the fact that everything from that point on due to the staff was great made it much better.

I haven't stayed at a Best Western in years and honestly, before this, I didn't have a good impression of them. This Best Western totally changed my mind! We had a wonderful, clean room. My kids loved playing in the outdoor pool. The extras were so nice- popcorn in the lobby and more! Staff were friendly...genuinely friendly. The breakfast was delicious and better than a typical hotel breakfast buffet. The potatoes were crispy!! I would definitely stay here again!

I read all the reviews before booking so I knew exactly what I was getting and I was not let down! The room was clean and the beds were super comfy! If Kay, Sam, Mary or Ronnie ever leave, you all are sunk. They are top notch employees who go above and beyond and deserve raises! The pool was inviting and clean, the breakfast was yummy with so many great choices and, I loved the coffee station in the lobby and my little boy loved the free, fresh popcorn everyday! We played board games in the cafe area late afternoon one day, they made fresh popcorn just for us! The bathrooms are extremely tiny and the carpets could use a good deep cleaning, but you will not go wrong reserving this hotel.

The room smelled like chlorine. There was a used towel in the bathroom and a used wristband on the floor. The floor made our socks black. You could hear toilets flush from surrounding rooms. Noise from the parking lot was terrible, the other side of the hotel faces 65 so that would not be good either. The only positive things were the bed and breakfast, only wish I would have had the opportunity to actually get some sleep on the bed through the noise and smell. Upon checkout I was told by the assistant manager that they are having issues with the 1st floor rooms. Why was I not told that at check in? Why are the rates the same for the 1st floor as the rest of the hotel if there are known issues? I was offered 500 points for my troubles but I won't be staying there again. There are lots of hotels in the same area. This hotel is not worth the money, stay somewhere else.

Great hotel if you are traveling with pets. Easy outdoor access also has a pet area (con could be fenced in) with bags for easy clean up of your dog's mess. Rooms has little carpeting, so easy clean ups if you have an accidental mess.

Best Western has really improved over the past few years. The rooms and furniture were in great shape, and I enjoyed my stay. I did not take advantage of the pool, but it looked very nice as well. I loved that this hotel was within walking distance to a couple restaurants. Even though the rate was a little more than I typically pay for a business overnighter (I may need to take advantage of AAA discount) I will most likely seek out a Best Western in the future.

Quiet although very busy hotel. Was not told about evening meal being available. Surrounded by eating possibilities and convenient to freeway. Staff at check in were not very communicative regarding amenities. Would stay there again.

We stayed here for the Little League All-Star tourney and had a great time. New hotel. It was very clean and modern. Breakfast was included. The boys enjoyed the pool. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Trip with my oldest daughter. Needed to stop for the night. Had a great experience at this motel. Would definitely recommend and use again. Clean and nice motel. Pool was clean. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

It appeared that construction dust/dirt never was cleaned up in the tiny, I said tiny bathroom. The shower mechanism was a new one for me and required someone from the front desk to turn on, Sam at the front desk was very helpful and resolved our issues.

We stayed here on an unexpected trip from Indianapolis to Clearwater. My mother in law was very sick. We stopped here on purpose due to a previous stay. The rooms are clean, and totally comfortable and our fur baby is always welcome. Thank you for making a difficult time a littler easier to handle!

I would recomemend this hotel. Convenient to alll the attractions and great places to eat. Locationia right off the interstate everything at your fingertips. Great place to stay, comfortable beds n free Wifi

This is a beautiful, modern, welcoming hotel. It looks brand new. Ir is absolutely bright, shining clean! The room is ultra modern and beautifully decorated. It has a fridge, microwave and many extras. Plenty of places to charge your phone. The beds are big and so comfy. Big TV, wonderful air conditioning, nice desk area, lots of mirrors and storage. We enjoyed the pristine outdoor pool. Our room was steps away. Perfect for after a day of siteseeing. There is also a patio area on the property where you can relax. The lobby area is so nice. They have free popcorn and coffee. Their breakfast is amazing. So many extras like cheese and salsa for eggs and toppings for waffles like chocolate chips and whipped cream. Some of their offerings : eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, cereals, many kinds of yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruits. They also have grab and go bags. Nice TV's in breakfast area and booths for sitting. I've never seen anything like it! There is a great work area with a printer and 2 big screens. The workout room is impressive. We are staying here because it is pet friendly. There is a huge area to walk your dog. If you don't have a pet you should still stay here! Super clean, so many extras, beautiful rooms, good location as you are close to restaurants and attractions. I want to come back to Bowling Green just to stay here again!

Recently remodeled, this hotel has it all and more. Friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast, and plenty of amenities for a reasonable price! I would chose this hotel again the next time I am in the area.

We used this place for a 2 night business trip in late June. Haven't stayed at a BW is many years, but this place was nice. Clean place and well appointed, if your trip is short, and a sleep/shower and go on about your day is the thing, this is a great option.

Stayed there on a vacation trip. This hotel has been completely remodeled and is very attractive. The lobby smelled amazing with the popcorn having just been made by the new popcorn machine. Our room was completely clean and well appointed. A little on the small side, but plenty of room. Upon check in the clerk pointed out the breakfast room and proudly said they had the best breakfast around. I thought to myself it was so much hype. Boy was I wrong. It was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel! Mary, the breakfast lady took great pride in making sure everything was perfect. She even came over and genuinely asked if everything was okay, she even wanted to know if she could get us a newspaper and got one. On a side note I accidentally left my electric razor in the room when we left. Kay, the Manager called me and I was too far away to turn around. She actually went to FedEx after she got off work and shipped it back to me. Now that's service! Their Southern Hospitality was terrific! I can't say enough good things about this place. A quick stop over while traveling. Quick reservations online. Great service when we arrived. The room was ready and clean within 4 hours notice. There was a wide variety for breakfast. Decent price on short notice.

Confirming my reservation I informed them I had asthma and it was very important room and air conditioner were clean. Air conditioner made and sound like fan wasn't working properly and it wasn't calling room properly. Very dusty on top of closet and after a few minutes of walking barefoot in room, my feet were black. At the recommendation of staff I put a washcloth in tub drain so I could take a bath. They did not have another room for us to trade. They did not even write down problems when we checked out.

Great Hotel, good breakfast, very convenient for travel, right off of the interstate, Staff very friendly and accommodating. Good restaurants near by. A special thank you to the sales rep, or Manager (sorry not sure which) she was very nice we had some car trouble and she offered her assistance if we couldnt get it fixed ourselves. We enjoyed ourselves so much we will try to book with them for other shows and are going to stay with them again next year. best western will be the first place to look for availability when we are booking for other vacations. I hope all of your hotels are as good as this one. My only dislike it how small the bathroom is but it is a very small dislike.

We stayed here after a 14 hour drive just to rest our heads before heading to mammoth cave national park. Reopen was fine, bathroom set up was weird and cramped. Breakfast was simple nothing special. They don't have any gluten free breakfast options but when asked they brought out a gluten free granola bar and some trail mix. I appreciated the effort as many places won't even offer that.

Great employee's made our stay perfect. Hotel was close to everything,great breakfast, Everything you want in a hotel when you are out of town. Outdoor pool nice room and a great bed. Price was nice to.

Would that you should ever possibly could take a time to be in a place of special opportunity for discovering any sort of time for such a stint of lethargicness, then the finding of a moment or two to have such, would lead you to the place2be!

Our stay was really enjoyable, the room, the breakfast, the swimming pool, and all the staff was really good. The appearance and cleanliness were extremely nice. We would come back again and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Kay, Sam, and Mary were as good as they come.

Very pleasant stay at this Best Western. Not disappointed with any amenities or services. This is a "newer" hotel, very clean and well decorated. Quite comfortable and would certainly stay here again and recommend to anyone for a stay here.

This has been by far my favorite BW yet! I was clean and well maintained. Only concern I had the whole time was that the bathtub floor was super slick; both my husband and myself nearly fell getting in. We didn't have the breakfast because I had a craving for Cracker Barrel's hash brown casserole and there was one next door.

Nice newer clean hotel. Rooms adequate in size but bathroom is very tight. Clean rooms and hotel. Carpets in room could be a little cleaner. Didn't use any facilities. Good breakfast with eggs, meats, pastries, waffles, cereal, yogurts, etc. Always fully stocked and pleasant staff during all interactions.

3 stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are nice and everything is comfortable. The only issue we had was the bathroom is tiny. We didn't swim in the pool,but were over it on third floor and the pool activity didn't keep us from sleeping. This hotel is close to everything. You don't need to leave for breakfast because they serve a great breakfast here!, If you are in a hurry you can get a sack breakfast with an apple, cereal bar and water. We would return here.

My wife and I stayed here for one night while traveling. The hotel is right off of I-65. There are numerous restaurants nearby, a few that you can walk to safely and a few more that you could walk to, but without sidewalks and having to walk along a busy street over I-65, it is probably better to drive to those on the other side of I-65. While I reserved a king studio room, I was informed upon arrival that these rooms were all on the first floor and had frequent pets in the room. Therefore, we opted to take a double queen room that was pet free! This room had a mini-fridge, microwave and small coffee maker. There was a desk with outlets on the desk top. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the blackout curtains worked well. This is good since the light in the parking light was very bright (good for parking lot safety). The bathroom, with toilet and bathtub/shower was very small. In fact you needed to make sure to close the door before sitting on the toilet, or you couldn't get the door closed. There was a separate sink area just outside the bathroom. We liked the fact that the bathroom lights were around the corner from the bed. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good. We found it interesting that the milk was in gallon jugs while the cream was in small containers that needed to be opened to use. Why don't they just get a quart of Half & Half or cream? There seemed to be ample seating in the breakfast area and it was comfortable.

We had a great time celebrating our 40th anniversary in Bowling Green. So glad we chose Best Western. Everything was great. Especially the staff. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good too.

We were very pleased with this hotel - lovely room, super friendly staff, and a beautiful town to explore. They are pet-friendly, and our dog gave the room two paws up. (In case you forget bags, they have a designated pet area and even provide bags for the poop.)

This was a nice hotel with very good amenities and staff. The only downfall is the close proximity to I65 and the traffic noise at night. The location is good with many food and fuel choiced within a few miles.

The hotel was very clean, the beds where comfortable, it had a full breakfast(which was really good), free internet, it has a swimming pool(we did not use) and it is in a very good location to visit all the sites in the surrounding area. Check in was a breeze and the employees very nice,

Nice, clean place to stay for the night. Nice pool to relax/play in. Good breakfast with quite a few choices. Within a few miles of the Corvette Museum. Easy highway access directly to museum/plant tour. Would stay here again.

There's a lot of places to stay in the area but we stayed in the Lexington area the night before with good luck. This is a comfortable place.. Clean and quiet.. Close to restaurants and the highway. We were here to see the corvette museum. Staff was friendly and helpful. (Kay) highly recommend!
