SureStay Hotel By Best Western Blackwell, Blackwell

The hotel was clean throughout including the rooms, breakfast area, and pool area. All the staff we interacted with were very kind, helpful, and polite. If we are ever in the Blackwell, OK area again, we would definitely stay at that same hotel. I highly recommend this place.

After reading the positive reviews we opted to stay 1 night during our cross country drive. The hotel is comfortable and clean. It's nothing fancy…but a great layout with lots of amenities. We saw the washer and dryers and gym but didn't use them. Breakfast was great. The room (we opted for 3rd floor) was large and clean. My only negative comment is about the pillows. I saw that a few people had commented on the pillows…we had 2 per bed and they are not comfy. I woke up several times with a sore neck or head. I should have just brought my own pillow but didn't think of it. The bed was firm, which I prefer. We slept with the window open, which seemed like a treat after staying at hotels that didn't have windows that opened or that opened to noisy or smelly streets. We walked across the parking lot to go to Subway for dinner. Would def recommend and stay again.

Very clean and great service, comfortable bed and nice size room. Free cookies at the desk. Restaurant's close by and easy access to highway. This place allowed pets and it was perfect for our stay in April.

Would recommend! Needed an overnight stay along the interstate. Hotel was clean & area felt safe. Woman at the front desk was very nice & helpful. Hot breakfast okay, not great. Bed was not very comfortable & only had 2 small pillows per bed & not much for bed linens. Pool was closed for maintenance. Overall, clean and safe which was most important.

Centrally located in Blackwell within walking distance of restaurants. Friendly staff. We had a king room that was spacious and clean. We found the bed a bit hard and pillows uncomfortable. The room included a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The pool was unavailable due to maintenance issues. They offer breakfast but with very limited items. Two of the offerings were empty when we arrived and only the eggs were refilled while we were there. The staff was apologetic that there were so few options. The price overall was reasonable.

Friendly staff, great value hotel. Clean facility. A good place to stay on I-35. I've stayed here before and I am always treated so well that I go out of my way to stay when traveling through this area.

This Sure Stay is awesome. Rooms always clean hotel always clean and the staff is exceptional. They go out of Thier way to help weather matching an online price or early check-in and late check out to extending your stay . I always stay here

Clean, updated, BREAKFAST!! The room was very nice and clean. I was a little concerned about not enough blankets but it turned out I was comfortable after turning the heat up a bit. They had breakfast, which was a big plus as surrounding facilities did not. Score!

Check in was prompt. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave a plus. The windows opened which I really liked. Very nice light blocking curtain so room was dark. It was a safe and quiet area. Great place to stay and the price was reasonable. Would recommend.

Another business trip, and when I checked in I gave my standard speech: "All I care about is having my room serviced daily. I don't care about the pool or breakfast, I am working and expect to come back to a room at night where the bed has been made, trash taken out, and towels replaced with clean ones. That's all I want. Do that and I'll be happy." No problem. No service of course, and no apology, no explanation other than a cryptic note on my door when I came back to the room after an exhausting day at work. I was not offered a clean room even though occupancy was low. This was very upsetting to me, and very unfair. We had an agreement and they broke it and there was no caring about this and even more insulting is that I'm a Diamond member of their rewards program. I checked out, and won't ever return to this property.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. Always willing to go out of their way to help. Rooms always clean. Only down side is internet signal is weak. Location is right of interstate with decent restaurants nearby.

Our daughters softball travel team stayed here while playing a tournament. From the moment I called to make the 13 room reservation till the time we left the staff was AMAZING. With all the questions parents had to even making special breakfast choices and helping us have a parking lot cook out since the pool was closed for Covid. The staff was amazing and the room were great. If we needed anything they were there in a heart beat!

Staff spent most of their time caring for their kids and smoking outside. Kids are running all over. Staff comes in from smoking after the guest. No one at the counter. Broken handicap rails. Beatles found in room. Doors broken. Will not be back here. Tried to contact customer service to no avail.

The good: super clean! As in everything was spotless! The room was nice and cool when we arrived. Staff was super friendly. We actually got hot breakfast…not grab and go. The not so great: the pillows-they suck! Upgrade please! Heard people running up and down the hall at midnight. Not the hotels fault-but was loud enough to wake me. Couldn't put the fan on so turned on white noise on the phone on loud. And breakfast was ok-hot eggs and biscuits and gravy. I wanted a bagel or wheat toast but that wasn't a choice. Overall good value-

Friendly staff, hot delicious breakfast, clean room, comfortable bed, not noisy at all. If there was something I needed the staff wouldn't be hesitant to provide it I would definitely stay at this Surestay again in Blackwell, Ok

We had a clean, quiet room. The breakfast was very good. Sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, gravy and biscuits. There were a lot of people in the breakfast area eating so we had to wait a few minutes while they brought out more food. They did a great job of keeping up with the demand. There's a great coffee machine and the bold decaf was excellent.

The property was clean, fresh and comfortable. The breakfast was varied and tasted great. The staff was exceptionally friendly! At 9pm they gave us a bagel from the breakfast pantry so my mother could eat with her night time medicine. Coffee 24 hours a day!

Housekeeping: PHENOMENAL! FANTASTIC! PROFESSIONAL! My room was so clean, I asked the front desk if this was a new hotel and my room was never used. I was told that half was new, but that I was actually in the older part. I was blown away! I stay at many hotels, and this housekeeping crew is the best I've ever experienced, even from a $500-per-night room. You can really tell how good the hotel cares about it's cleaning by looking at the stairwells and elevator. Both were excellent! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!! Also the young lady at the front desk was only on her 3rd day, but she had the skills and friendliness of en experienced worker. A great addition! I never heard of SureStay before, but I'll be looking for them now, as well as more Best Westerns. And, I'll recommend the Blackwell, Oklahoma stay as often as I can. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for such an enjoyable stay!!! I wish I was staying a week!

I have stayed here off and on for five years except for this past year. I have reviewed this hotel many times due to how wonderful it has always been. Not anymore. I stayed two nights this week and nothing works. No WiFi, no elevators, pool out of service, breakfast drink machine not working etc etc. Lots of smokers out front all evening. Not just one or two, but as many as 10 at one point. The last straw was a flea bite on my foot from my room. They now allow dogs in here which is terrible for my allergies and obviously the fleas are a nice touch. I am so bummed because it WAS one of the nicest BW hotels I have stayed in. I won't be back, ever.

I was in Oklahoma for a job at the Phillips 66 Refinery, and a family member booked with SureStay before I did, and she told me everything was decent for the price, so I booked as well. The overall cleanliness of SureStay was great, and all of the staff members were very nice, polite, and were always greeting their guests. They all did their very best to make sure I received the best weekly rate, and there were no issues with making my payment each week. Housekeeping was great about cleaning around my work schedule, and not disturbing me whenever I was off. Everything was so nice, neat, and plentiful each day that I returned to my room. Any issue that I did report was handled efficiently, professionally, and in a timely manner. The only inconvenience I experienced was not having all of the breakfast items available for 2 days, and running out of plates to serve the breakfast on. I feel as though a staff member should've gone to a local store at the hotel's expense, and purchased paper plates to serve breakfast on, until the delivery truck was able to bring more. But overall, I do recommend SureStay to anyone, and will definitely book with them again, if I'm ever in the area.

I accidentally booked the wrong hotel, but when I found out they had an indoor pool I kept the reservation. Before arriving I called to inquire about the pool to find out that it was closed due to repairs. When arrived the lobby had dirt trails leading to the elevator. Granted there were working men there, but the same dirt pile was there the whole weekend. Sheets and bedding was torn and the lamp shades were falling apart. Like I said though, you get what you pay for.

We needed somewhere to stay last minute, the price was great and the room was super clean and the staff was friendly. The COVID modified breakfast was very unappealing but besides that, everything was great.

The staff was great over the phone and at check in. Very courteous and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great value for the room rate. They allow pets, too. The Mexican restaurant next door had great food.

Most enjoyable experience. We stayed 3 nites & look forward to our next. If U are looking for clean, friendly & affordable this is the place. Located just off I35;restrauants & service stations within a couple blocks.

We throughly enjoyed our stay - the hotel staff are friendly, prompt and helpful. The breakfast choices were great, even in the midst of COVID. This "Sure Stay" hotel ought to be higher rated, it was far better than some of the Best Western "Plus" hotels we've stayed at. We will stay here agin.

This is the only hotel I will stay at when I travel to Blackwell. The staff from the front desk to environmental services are very pleasant. The rooms are nice, clean and roomy. My husband loved the little brown bag breakfast.

Kids running up and down the halls, sounded like they were going to fall through the ceiling. Bring earplugs, paper thin walls. Had to make noise complaint at 345 am. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Noisy neighbor guests. Will not stay again.

The hotel is new and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable.. Elizabeth was at the desk to check us in after a 13 hour drive. She impressed us from her greeting and all through the process of checking us in. Rarely, have we received such friendliness. She made us feel like we had arrived "home". Kudos to Elizabeth and to management (for a great hire). I definitely recommend this hotel!

Most employees & guests were not wearing masks in public places & the hotel was doing nothing to enforce common sense & simple mask wearing to reduce the spread & danger of COVID. I was disgusted that the hotel was not doing it's best to help insure everyone's safety.

This property is located in an area that caters to travelers of long distances. Out is nice to relax after a long drive, however, the pool was broken and the hot tub has been cemented over. However, if you're looking for a cheap hotel that is clean, this is for you

The staff at this Hotel are very professional, courteous and genuinely care that you have an excellent stay. They go above and beyond which is rarely encountered with customer service today. The property is well maintained and the location is very convenient to the interstate.

We have a family farm in Blackwell that we hunt birds and deer yearly. So we always stay at the Best Western Hotel in Blackwell. The hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and breakfast is tasty and fresh baked cookies every day. Best Western has an awards program that earn points for every stay, so we get great room rates and earn points, nice program.

We decided to try a new stop on our long trip back from the midwest to the southwest. This was an excellent choice. It is a very modern updated Sure Stay (unlike some we have stayed at). It is conveniently located near the highway exit but far enough in to avoid some of the traffic noise. It has plenty of free off street parking including large spaces for turnarounds. We paid $70 for the night plus a $10 pet fee. It is walking distance to nearby restaurants. We had reliable cable and internet. Covid precautions were in place. We were very happy with our overnight stay here.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Clean, modern rooms and hallways. Very reasonable prices. The Mexican food restaurant that was nearby was delicious with LOTS of choices and extremely reasonable. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was excellent in their service and cleanliness. The price is SO affordable. I thought because of the rate for the room it would be a run down hotel but it was not- VERY CLEAN and VERY WELL KEPT! I will stay there again when I go to see family.

I've stayed on three separate occasions over the last month and each time it was a great experience. Clean room, cold a/c, nice staff. Each and every time. I wasn't expecting much for the low price, but was pleasantly surprised. And thanks for the Otis Spunkmyer Cookies. Nice way to end the day! Would definitely highly recommend this motel. I have more stays in my future and won't think twice about staying here.

Very friendly and helpful staff, room and hotel was clean and stocked, accommodating to our softball group that was staying there, convenient location. Only issue was the pool not working due to some maintenance. But we made the best of it.

Very nice hotel. Staff was AMAZING!! Very nice and helpful. Heather, Rebecca, Megan and Stormie were the best! We decided to stay another night not problem. They handled everything with no problem. Great place to stay and reasonably priced. We will be staying at this hotel again. We live in Illinois and travel to Poncha City twice a year.

I had to stay for a longer period of time than I expected and was made to feel at home. Everyone is nice and helpful. It was a bit difficult with the virus causing Social Distancing and isolation, but the staff stepped up to help me feel not so stranded in the one room.

We had the best experience with a late check in and we missed breakfast but the attendant made us grab n go bags.... the room was clean, the bed comfy and we will definitely stay here on our next trip from Ohio to Texas!

I'm Jeremy Pitzer and Nina did excellent in regards to explaining where everything was. I didn't have no complaints about nothing during my stay at the Hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel than any other hotel I stayed in. I personally am happy about the smoking section, they have a table and lounge chairs. Nina keep up the great work that you do! You are awesome!

Just stayed one night but room was very comfortable, staff professional and friendly, and breakfast great. Location was convenient to freeway, to food and gasoline. Good value for the price and services.

Home away from home. Best breakfast ever, great coffee, eggs and sausage, bagels and pastries; comfortable beds, gracious staff. We love to stop here on our way to Dallas since it's right on the main highway.

Excellent staff and amenities,especially the breakfast. The price I paid was an exceptional value. I like the fact that BW points never expire. The Los Patros restaurant, next door to this hotel, has excellent food and drinks.

My daughter, her friend, and I were traveling back to western Kansas from a concert in Houston. The weather had turned very bad and some interstate were closed. Stopped and stayed here. It was great!!

We were hungry and very tired We were on our way home to Houston. This hotel restaurant was a life saver. The check in process was a breeze, the hotel staff was pleasing very pleasant. This was a welcome relief.

We were visiting family in Blackwell, OK. This Best Western is a very nice hotel which is right off the highway. All employees were very pleasant. Very good breakfast. Large breakfast room and very comfortable.

Nice new facitlity convenient to interstate. Free cookies and a much better breakfast than is typical at this price level. Best value in a hotel I've come across in a long time. Only negative was no hot tub.

Discovering this motel in recently , have now stayed several times. Easy to get to, nice area. Mexican restaurant within walking distance . Nice rooms and great rates. Would stay again. Felt comfortable there. Decent breakfast too.

This is our first stay here. It is very reasonably priced. The rooms are large, well appointed, and very clean. It is very close to the highway and an excellent Mexican restaurant is next door. Friendly, efficient service at the front desk. Highly recommended !!

While visiting family in Blackwell, Oklahoma, we stayed two nights at the Best Western Blackwell Inn. Our visit happened to coincide with Homecoming/Reunion weekend. The BW Inn was quite busy. The staff were welcoming, and offered information on the town's weekend activities. Our room was clean and comfortable, though a little worn and dated. The controls on the AC/Heating unit were not visible, which made it difficult to regulate the temperature in the room. We were also given a handicapped room, and the shower was quite difficult for my tall husband. The breakfast had plenty of choices, though on a busy weekend it was a quite crowded. All-in-all our stay at the Best Western Blackwell Inn was pleasant, and we would definitely stay there on subsequent visits to Blackwell.

I arrived late but lobby was busy yet front desk was friendly. Room was clean and attractive, and they have great pillows! Large selection of breakfast choices provided in a very nice area. When headed this way it is my stop of choice.

I couldn't be happier with my stay here. Tho late at night, my check-in was quick and the room well prepared. The biggest plus was the breakfast. Two totally dedicated ladies had prepared a variety of food that far surpassed the typical 'motel breakfast.' Self-made breakfast burritos (tortillas, black beans and several toppings). Two flavors of soy milk. I'll stay in Blackwell next time I'm traveling I-35.

Stopped here on our long trip home to break it up our time. It was pretty close to Tonkawa Casino without paying high prices. Rooms were super clean and nice. Staff was really friendly. There was a nice Mexican restaurant nearby. Love the design of the rooms. Breakfast was standard, but above what you normally get. Will stay here again!

Reasonably priced and great service... Breakfast was awesome..slept very well... The pool was very clean and all the workers were very nice. They greeted you as you came in front door and when I checked out the guy asked everyone in line how their stay was...Wonderful customer service

The service was great and the rooms were more than expected. That morning they had make your own breakfast burritos and they were very good.....will be staying here when I'm in blackwell for the night.

We stayed for one night. It's conveniently located off the interstate and has a few food choices around it. The rooms are a great size and clean. We used the indoor pool (because there aren't a lot of entertainment options in the area) and it sufficiently kept the kids entertained. Breakfast was decent, there were plenty of options. We'd stay here again.

This was by far one of the cleanest, well maintained, and friendliest places I've ever stayed. My family and I were traveling from Dallas, Texas to Salina, Kansas for a family reunion then back. Originally the plan was to stay at Best Western in Blackwell only on 7/4/19 then on 7/5 & 7/6 stay overnight at a hotel in Wichita, KS, however when we checked into the Wichita hotel on 7/5/19 my family & I immediately decided we were going to drive from Salina back to the Best Western in Blackwell after the family reunion on 7/6/19 because of the quality, cleanliness, staff interaction, excellent breakfast, and overall exceptional experience. We stayed on 7/4/19 and again on 7/6/19 and both times the breakfast was exceptional! The breakfast our 1st morning was a variety of scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits & gravy, french toast, waffles, and pastries. Everything was fresh & hot and Eric (who was constantly checking on the food) ensured all of the items remained full. In addition to keeping the food on point he was hopping around cleaning off tables & picking up to maintain a clean area. The second morning we stayed the variety included items to make a breakfast sandwich which included eggs, sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, bagels, waffles, and pastries. Again, Eric was visibly checking the food to ensure nothing was low and maintained the area clean & tidy. It was very apparent Eric truly cared about his job & customer service leading to satisfaction. All of the staff were customer services focused and truly cared about their job! Our check in & out was smooth with everyone extremely helpful.

This Best Western in Blackwell was an excellent value. The rooms were just the right size and the property was convenient for the purposes of our trip. They might need a better street sign, but GPS helped us find it quickly. Besides being clean and fresh throughout the hotel and our room, the staff was exceptionally efficient and helpful. I will be going back to our local destination in the future and will definitely stay here again!

Staff is nice. Newer facility right off freeway. Older gentleman at desk in the mornings at checkout is exceptional and very nice to chat with, he is why we keep coming back. Breakfast was great. Bad hailstorm the night before and a lot of rain however employees handled it well.

Very welcoming staff, clean room, comfortable, quiet. The bathroom had a couple fixtures that need fixing, but everything else was fine. The rates are great. Good breakfast. Clean pool. I think this is the nicest hotel in Blackwell.

This is my place of choice whenever I am in the area. Very well maintained property, polite staff and great breakfast. There is another brand near by that charges $40.00 above what you pay here. I wouldn't pay it.

Room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed with our granddaughter for softball games and I was so shocked because our room was so quiet and when the pool closed we heard no noise. the staff was so helpful and kind. We will stay there again.

I would recommend this motel to anybody that's traveling through Blackwell Oklahoma the staff is amazing the breakfast is hot and fresh everyday the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff goes far and beyond service

When I come though Oklahoma, this is where I like to stay. The hotel is always clean and the staff are friendly, which is pretty important to me. There aren't to many places to eat in town but the Mexican place Los Potros is always good.

I stay at this hotel several times a year on business trips to the area. I prefer it over the Holiday Inn Express across the street. This hotel is kept up very well for such an under-priced hotel. The Holiday Inn is only three years old and shows much more wear than this Best Western at double the price. The employees at this hotel take a pride in it that I rarely see from other hotels. It is amazing how they can offer the quality and service at such a low price. Unfortunately for them Blackwell has over-built hotels by double so they are forced to keep their prices down. Even so they don't scrimp on the quality of the hotel or the breakfast choices. I am always happy to stay at this hotel.

Very friendly staff. Nice, clean rooms. My husband accidentally reserved for day earlier than our actual arrival. They were very accommodating about mixup. No extra charge for arriving on wrong day! Definitely would stay here again.

We needed a place to stop and sleep after a long trip. We have stopped at many mid-range hotels before but Best Western Blackwell was by far the nicest. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was more than most complementary breakfast, and the rooms were updated and clean. The hotel far exceeded its price point. Highly recommend

Our group of 4 stayed here on our way to Texas. Checking in and out was a breeze. Very friendly staff. The room and facilities were nice and clean. Good breakfast with waffles, sausage links, eggs, cereal, etc. Definitely a great place to stop for the night!

It was great to find this along the interstate . We had planned on a side trip to Pawhuska, OK to the Pioneer Woman's Restaurant, so this was in proximity . We were also needing to find a suitable stop before proceeding ahead where they had a lot of snowfall and extreme cold.

Pool was nice and warm for feezing weather, workout room was clean and very useful, beds and pillows in room were comfy. Breakfast was nice, emplyees were very professional. Enjoyed my over all stay. Will definitely revisit.

We were lucky to find this diamond of a place while planning our trip to Galveston, Texas. The price was excellent, the staff was great and the coffee was awesome. I couldn't ask for more! Staying here is always a win!

We have also stayed at this Best Western evertime we are up that way' Everything is great from the staff to the breakfast every morning. you will not get different breakfast menu every day. we really do like this hotel.

Service was great. Thank you "debbie" for making shore my stay was comfortable.the rooms very neat, the bed was absolutely amazing. As a truck driver customer service is a must for me and it passed with flying colors.

Excellent stay at this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast offered crumbled sausage and eggs with all the trimmings for a breakfast burrito. This was a nice surprise. The staff was very customers oriented.

We stayed here twice, once on our way to Texas and then again on our way back north. We timed it that way just so we could take advantage of this clean, quiet hotel. And you can't beat the price for the quality. Breakfast was good also. I'm sure this will be our spot to stop on future trips through the area. And with Subway right next door it is a convenient short walk to supper!

We travel over 1300 miles to our winter home in Texas. We have pets that travel with us this hotel is abo halfway for us. That tak in our pets which is important to us. Tha hotel is clean friendly and convenient. It is right off highway 35. The Continental breakfast is very good. They did not price gouge us for our pets.

Comfortable, clean, large room. Staff was not outgoing, but courteous. Convenient location off the freeway, with a really good Mexican restaurant across the parking lot. Breakfast had several options and appeared to be fresh. Would definitely stay here again!

I was in Blackwell this week for training. This hotel was clean. The staff was friendly but not real knowledge. I had to move rooms because the tv wouldn't work right. I also noticed you had to really shove the doors closed get then to latch, almost like the door was sprung. Hotel was clean.

2 night stay here on business. Staff was friendly. Check in was quick and efficient. Breakfast was good, with hot options as well as cold. Rooms and dining area was clean. Laundry service offered by housekeeping staff but did not need. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We needed an easy-to-access, clean, comfortable place to spend a night on our way home from visiting with friends and relatives. We experienced exactly that, with the added bonus of a great price and a tasty breakfast!

We traveled from Surprise Az. to many states; New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa, Michigan, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, etc. just a couple of weeks ago. We stayed in numerous hotels and inns. The Best Western here was our favorite place because of the service, courtesies, professionalism and kindnesses of the staff. EVERY staff member went beyond their scope of duties to ensure our comfort and needs were met. The frosting on the cake was - Almond Milk! Granddaughter is vegan and this hotel ensured there is breakfast for all! How thoughtful! Thank you!

My first stay at this location was in 2001 where the only other thing there was the Subway. After 17 years and numerous stays, the hotel hasn't changed one single bit in terms of the exceptionally run property with amazing staff! Rooms are excellent! Highly recommend staying here!

Very nice, comfortable hotel. Location is right off I-35, but you don't get any noise from the highway. Facility appears to be well-kept, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is located several miles outside town, and is close to gas stations.

stayed here for 4 nights in july 2018. good location. great stay overall. breakfast was outstanding! i don't like that best western hotels (in general, at least) don't accept nra discounts anymore, but i have to say, i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. would recommend to all.

Room was OK. Internet was slowwwww. They only give you a couple towels and make a record if you request extras. There were some noise issues from doors slamming. They cut the breakfast off early for a weekend in my opinion, which we stayed a Sat. night. I stay at BWs a lot but won't at this one again. There are better options in the area.

I have made this hotel my stopping point from Colorado to Mississippi and back. I have stayed here 6 times and will continue to go back! The staff is amazing but Rachel is the reason I came back. She is so sweet and personal. She always remembers us!! I feel like I am home always from home when I am there! It is a very clean and safe place. Often it is just my 10 year old daughter and I so since of security is everything. They have a great breakfast as well and you could not ask for a better price!!! I would highly recommend this hotel. We have stayed at the Best Western Blackwell, Oklahoma many times over the last five years while traveling between Minnesota and Texas. We have always been very impressed with every member of the staff. Their strong work ethic and customer-focused mindset is what keeps us coming back frequently. The breakfast buffet is full of fresh tasty food from open thru close. The housekeeping staff keeps the entire building pristine!

We checked in on Sunday afternoon and when we checked-in the front desk clerk noticed we were on a motorcycle. She said we could park the bike under the awning to avoid the rain that was going to come through that evening (which we really appreciated). Beds and room were very comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious. We will be back!

The hotel was quiet and clean and very close to I-35. Breakfast was decent. On a Wednesday night in June, there didn't seem to be very many guests. That's too bad because the low price made this hotel a good deal.

A nice size room with a very comfortable bed. Staff was frien dly and it was very clean.The room rate was very good. It was easy access off of I-35 They had a very nice breakfast with many choices to choose from.

If it's on the way or near to where you are going, I would recommend. Clean rooms, hot breakfast, friendly staff. Hot shower, pretty sure they are pet friendly. There was room on the street next to hotel for truck parking

Belinda and her staff are topnotch. They go the extra mile in working with businesses. If you need a place to stay in the Blackwell/Ponca City area...this is your home-away-from-home! The rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very tasty...they even offered to serve breakfast earlier for our employees if needed. I highly recommend staying at the Blackwell Best Western whether you're traveling for business or pleasure.

Easy to get to from I35, quick check-in, good clean room, everything worked, staff was friendly, breakfast was good in a big dining room area. Check-out was quick and easy. The stay was uneventful for us, which is great on a long road trip.

We made reservations ahead, but the hotel did not appear to be full. Our double queen room was comfortable, and the room seemed quiet enough. The heating and cooling controls were worn down so that my husband could not even read them, and there really is no easy control of the room temperature. The room and bath area were quite clean. We discovered that the nearby Mexican restaurant was closed for Easter, so we walked next door to the Subway and ate sandwiches for dinner. Breakfast was basic, but the scrambled eggs were good with items added from the burrito makings- beans, green sauce, and grated cheese. The biscuits were very good, and my husband said the gravy was good but not spicy at all. This location was convenient for us, as we were driving across the country.

Megan at the front dersk made the difference! I walked in to an amazingly friendly front desk attendant.... Fast oh yes.... she had me checked into my room and on my way in less than 5 min. Megan is quite possibly one of the top in her position across the U.S.A. Traveling 300+ day a year you meet many horrible employees not her great job Megan! Room....super clean Hotel.....super clean Bed........Ahhhhhhhh Noise.....Quiet

Very nice stay. One of the nicest BW I've stayed at thus far. Best staff by far. Nice rooms. Excellent breakfast. What more could you want? This will be a stay you won't regret. If I get back that way this is where I'll stay!

We stayed here on our "bucket list" trip to Texas. Our room was in their new addition which was awesome. The room was super clean and the beds were so comfy. We both slept like a log. Along with adding more rooms they increased the size of the breakfast area. It was modern and roomy plus the breakfast included bacon which is always a good thing!!! Thank you for a comfortable and quite experience.

Crystal and Rachel are awesome, These young ladies went above guest services and was definitely accommodating, Crystal knew I was wanting to type up a document, she offered to my bags to my room, so I could start typing my document. As, I was typing, I was listening to her interacting with the guests. She was genuinely polite and displayed exceptional guest services skills. At the changing of the shift, Crystal introduced herself and let me informed me, that if I need anything to let her know. Rachel, saw me typing, realize there was no paper for the printer. She took it upon herself to load the printer. She had an extra soda out of her personal stash, lol, brought me soda, just incase I got thristy. These girls really enjoy there job. They were both so sweet. I will definitely come, I sincerely hope corporate office sees this comment.

This has been our "go to place" for several years while driving back and forth between northern Minnesota and southern Texas. We always know that we will find a comfortable clean room, friendly staff and a decent breakfast to send us on our way. All of this at a reasonable price!

Friendly staff, well maintained, and full breakfast. Don't need much more! Except maybe better coffee! We came in after a sporting event and the staff handled a long line of check-ins in a very timely manner. After a huge rush of hungry boys eating breakfast, the staff quickly cleaned up and replenished for the rest of us. Would stay again.

This was the perfect stop for my husband and I while traveling threw. The price was great and the facility was clean. Rooms are nice size with a large bathroom. Bed was comfy with plenty pillows. The staff was very friendly and willing. We ate the continental breakfast and it also was good. Nothing fancy at all but a very nice place to stay while traveling threw!

Despite living in Blackwell for over 21 years, I had never stayed at this Best Western till I moved to Tulsa and went back in a commute. What a bargain! Very reasonable. Having stayed there for over 20 nights now over the span of three months, I can't believe this was in the same location...and I just didn't know it. Well managed by friendly and competent personnel, great amenities, always immaculate, pretty much everything. One note: I have always stayed on the 2nd floor, as I think the rooms on the first floor are too dark. Might be just me, as I don't see too well.

Room was spotlessly clean and receptionist at front desk was very pleasant and accomodating. The next morning the desk clerk was very friendly and concerned that we had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was very good and a happy attendant as well.

Went on a hunting trip with buddies and stayed here. Everything was excellent including the price. Nice breakfast and area to congregate with friends and enjoy a cold beverage. Very friendly staff too. Highly recommended.

This hotel is conveniently located right off of the interstate. There are newer hotels at this exit but this BW has been recently updated. Having tried the other hotels at this exit, BW is always clean and has the best customer service!

This is a newer motel and the amenities are nice but the staff is very helpful. And this is what makes this motel better than most. Was unable to connect my phone (Samsung Galaxy) to wifi but laptop and tablet worked fine.

This hotel is ideally situated for the long distance traveler. It is just before the Kansas Turnpike and as hotels are ridiculously high priced in Topeka, and, everywhere in Kansas, this the place to stay. They have an excellent continental breakfast, as well.

Stopped here midway between Minnesota and Houston. The hotel is just what we were looking for in a overnight stop. Economical, Clean, Good sleep. The front desk organization was reasonable and check in was quick.

The reservation process was very easy called the hotel directly. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean. Continental breakfast was better than some. We had a total of 3 rooms. The single king size bed was a very nice room. Did not have any issues with noise in the hallways.

Staying at this hotel was a very lovely experience. Beautiful decor and extremely clean. Having water and cookies available was a pleasant bonus. Places to eat very close by too. I hope my business meetings take me back to this area so I can stay here again.

When leaving I found my car had a dead battery. I had to get my daughter back to college by a certain time and they were very helpful in locating a pair of jumper cables to help me. Thank you very much for all your help.

Breakfast was excellent. Hotel front desk staff average. Noisy room next to the lobby with a terrible bed made for a 5/10 stay. Breakfast staff went above and beyond, helping an elderly woman to fill her plate and assisting a couple of disabled vets. The rest of the staff, not so much.

We have been on the road for three days now and our stay here has been the best one yet!! Not only was the price VERY affordable, the room as huge and pet friendly! The staff was SO FRIENDLY. We had to leave at 4am and we figured breakfast would be closed since the hours were so early!! Gunner offered us some fresh orange juice and milk for the road! So nice and professional!! Definitely recommend!!

First thing, our reservation was messed up which I had made directly with them, not a 3rd party. The front desk people did a great job of straightening it out and we did get our 1st floor pet friendly room as requested. The back door to the outside didn't look so anyone could wander the halls. Plenty of nice places to walk the dog. Shower curtain was badly torn along the top edge. The bathroom faucet leaked badly every time it was turned on and flooded the counter and any of your stuff that was on it. Wi-Fi was pretty good. I f it wasn't for the front desk, I would have rated this hotel just average.

We have stayed at this motel several times and they are always great to deal with. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very helpful. They have good cookies too. We travel between Iowa and Ft. Worth twice a year and this is a perfect stop either way.

Stayed for two nights and enjoyed the visit. The hotel made it easy for me and I was able to leave my German Wirehair in my room and a couple of the staff even offered to take for a quick walk if I would give them a specific time range.

We are Pilot cars and have been doing a wind energy project that has brought us here for about a month and a half. All the staff is outstanding. From check in to check out. They went out of their way to accommodate our crazy schedule. We are on our last load here and will miss this stop. Thank you for making our stays awsome.

We have stayed at this Best Western in the past but this visit was a bit of a disappointment. Check in went well and I was required to sign off that I did not have a pet and would not smoke in the room or my credit card would be billed an additional $250. I don't smoke so this is not an issue. We were assigned room 107. The room was nice and clean but had a strong perfumed cigarette smoke odor. It was apparent that someone had smoked in this room and an attempt was made to rid the room of the cigarette smell but not completely successful. The room was a bit stuffy and although I am usually cold I found the room extremely warm until the wee hours of the morning, even with the AC cranked up high. Between the smoke smell and the hot stuffy room I had a very restless night sleep. When checking out I did mention to the desk clerk about the issues but he seemed more interested in telling me his past medical history than addressing the issues with the room. Very disappointing stay!

If you are traveling on I 35 and need a place to stay for a night or so, check out the Best Western in Blackwell, Oklahoma. We have stayed there several times and have been most pleased. My team arrived and we got 2 rooms for the duration of our stay. The girls up front were very friendly. The key maker had broke and they went out of their way to make it right. The housekeeper let us in our room since the keys were not quite working yet. She was an older lady with a great attitude. She had already cleaned 15 rooms and you could tell she was tired. She kept on going like a real trooper. Overall a very good experience highlighted by the great ladies throughout the hotel. Your staff needs to teach the big city people about customer service and great attitudes.

I was looking for a place that was smoke free and dog friendly. Wow! This place was awesome. Very convenient location and my room was immaculate. Everything was perfect. The attention to detail was extraordinary. I ended up staying an extra night.

This hotel is still new and very clean. Rooms were large, beds and pillows were comfy. I had booked online and made a request. At check in, they confirmed my request. Breakfast was great with hot items such as eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy as well as a variety of cereals and breads. I would stay again.

Stay at this Motel was not totally relaxing. The pool was totally cold and there was no hot tub. Had to hunt for pool towels. After the pool experience wanted to shower but could not get it to work. Had to take a bath instead.

The staff was great the beds where comfortable and the breakfast was great would recommend staying at this best Western loved the fitness center and pool area the staff is really friendly and helpful.

Because of my job, I stay in hotels/motels a lot! For the past two months, we have had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel in Blackwell, Oklahoma! There isn't much in Blackwell as far as restaurants and things to do, but this Best Western hotel has made our time in Blackwell so much better! From the Desk Clerks to the Maintenance persons! Each and everyone of the staff here are wonderful! The rooms are always clean and smell good. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is amazing!!! You can not go wrong with this hotel!!!

The staff at this hotel was very accommodating to both our family gathering and the pets that had to come too. The breakfasts they served in the mornings went way above our expectations of cold cereal and a sweet roll. There was something hot offered every morning and was fresh and delicious. The staff continually checked on items to make sure they didn't run low and it remained fresh whether you got up at 6 am or 8 am.

First the staff....so accommodating and friendly. Belinda and her staff go above and beyond. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. All the amenities that I want and need were available. 100 degree plus days and didn't feel a thing!! The air conditioners are quiet and efficient. Indoor pool was inviting as well as the outside seating area. Restaurants are within walking distance. The property is well maintained and very well lit at night. Breakfast is one of the best with a lot of choices and they don't have the same ole' every morning. I will be back when in this area...you can't go wrong staying here!!!

We were traveling a group of 6. Our West trip.a 17 day trip from INDIANA TOO THE WEST coast.On our motorcyles.we wanted comfortable rooms,clean and great area. Thank you, BEST Western. When you must do laundry as well. That is important to the ladies. Yes, we would stay again.

I've stayed at more expensive hotels that were not nearly as nice. My room was big, comfy bed, 5 fluffy pillows, huge bathroom with a spacious vanity, CLEAN, temp control on a wall thermostat so I wasn't up all night adjusting a box unit... And only 20 minutes to Ponca City. I will book this hotel again, definitely.

The best Western was cofortable and clean .The breakfast had a great selection of hot food. The lobby was clean .The staff were personable and helpful. WE WOULD STAY A THIS HOTEL AGAIN. Overall it was a good experience.

My fiance and I are driving cross country to our next station and need pet friendly hotels to accomadate. When searching for pet friendly hotels near us, this location was the first. My past experiences with Best Westerns have been unpleasant to say the least so I was skeptical. Let me assure you this location is fantastic. Super affordable, comfy bed, plenty of space for two adults and three pets (a medium sized dog and two cats). They even welcomed us with cute care bags for the fur-kids. Oh, and the breakfast... yeah, it was pretty awesome. They have the usual cereal and bread area, but also included make your own waffles with an assortment of toppings, make your own breakfast burritos, and biscuits and gravy. Yummy a.m. smorgasbord.

Checkin was smooth. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Room was great, clean and comfy. Glad we stayed here and now we know for next time!!! Very affordable! They have a great rewards program as well!!!

If you are ever in the area be sure to stay here. The wife and I only stayed one night but it was the best stay we had in the two weeks we were on the road. The staff was all terrific and the hotel was very clean and well kept. I don't why it is not a BWplus.

I was a little leery booking this hotel. I have had some bad experiences with this chain. The reviews were good, and I must agree, a nice place to stay. It appears to have been recently built. Regardless it was very clean. The beds were great! All the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was your typical, biscuits and scrambled eggs...not much to say about that. Location is easy to get to and there is a good Mexican restaurant and Subway next door. Couldn't beat the price anywhere, would definite stay here if I come this way again.

Stayed one night and it was very easy exiting off of I-35 and very easy access to get back on Hotel is very clean and staff is very friendly Hotel was full the night we stayed and even with that it was very quiet and the rooms were very clean and comfortable we got in about 8 p.m. and there was a Subway and a great Mexican restaurant within steps of the hotel that we could eat at there were several other restaurants nearby . A full hot breakfast with eggs sausage and biscuits and gravy was offered free in the morning .We will definitely stay here again when we are traveling to Texas.

Took a chance from online reviews and the hotel did not disappoint Great place to stay if you are in the area rooms were clean lobby was great morning breakfast was good and hotel staff was very helpful and polite will definitely stay there again and would recommend for others.

Place nice and clean, rooms very nice, the bathrooms looked pretty new. The rooms themselves were roomy and made up when we checked in. They let us check out late which made our timing eeasier for our travel. Just no ice made it bad.

Loved it...Will be starting there again next year. I did have some loud neighbors in room next door but everything was wonderful. Their breakfast was hot and of good quality with eating space that was not cramped.

The rooms were wonderful, clean, smelled great, the beds were the softest and most comfortable ever. The front desk attendant Mike was very kind and professional informative as he helped me set up my rewards program and on task for anything my family needed I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone passing through Blackwell Oklahoma!!

Great stay in a very clean and modern hotel! Was driving home from vacation and I would stay there again! Staff was very nice and accommodating, we used a baby crib which was clean and sturdy. Would definitely recommend this hotel

We chose Best Western in Blackwell as we had stayed overnight before on our way from AZ back to Wisconsin. Excellent accommodations- large room with two queen beds, very clean and welcoming. We stay here when we visit family, at least 4 times a year. The staff is prompt to our requests. Our Siberian Husky stays in the room with us. He gets a "doggie treat gift bag" during our stays! Nice!

We are snowbirds who live in Canada. When we make our trip down south for the winter and come back in spring we try to time our driving day so that we can make it here for the night. After a long day on the road it's very comforting to come to this beautiful hotel.

This hotel is right off I-35 and except for three or four other hotels and a few fast food restaurants. However, if you need a place to stay between Oklahoma City and Wichita, this is a great place to stop for the night. Check-in was great and very friendly front desk. They also have cookies for guests when they check in. Unfortunately, the clerk gave us a room that had not been cleaned so she upgraded us to a premium room for her mistake. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Everything worked and it was a drama free stay. There is a Subway right across the parking lot from the hotel. We missed breakfast but the dinning room is more formal than most hotel's and they have a different special each day of the week! We highly recommend this hotel.

Great value. We paid much more for less quality at other stops to and from Phoenix. Had been here several years ago so were pleased the overall experience was quote satisfying. Highly recommend. Breakfast was very good including attendant who made sure everything was done right.

I travel to and from WI and NM once a year, and usually I choose the cheapest hotel I can find. This year, however, on the way back, I was recovering from a broken leg, and felt the need to "upgrade" myself--and hoped it would be worth it. It SOOOO was worth it--this is the first hotel I've stayed at in a long time that was over $50. (And it was not that much over.) The staff was most friendly, putting me in a room that provided easy access (given my weak leg), recommending eating establishments, etc. And the room itself? There is a darn good reason why some hotels are more than $50--and now I think I may never go back to the cheaper hotels! The bed was soft, comfortable, with plenty of pillows. The TV was big enough for me to see, and had many channels I like. Altogether, a very good visit--oh, yes, and the breakfast has lots of options! Kudos!

This stay was great, if I was to have any complaint, it would be that my neighbors were loud for awhile late at night and the coffee at breakfast to weak. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel. I see that they take pride in their service.

This BW is in very excellent shape. Everything is up to date and clean. The breakfast was good with a good selection. The personal were friendly and helpful. Awesome place to stay if you have a dog. They even had a doggie bag with food, treats and other things available. I would recommend this place for anyone.

Everything was fine except for lack of adequate lighting in room. Too dark to repack in the early morning! Needed another floor lamp at least. Bathroom was well lighted and breakfast was above average for this kind of hotel. Pet friendly!

This is right off the interstate and easy to get to. There are quite a few properties in the area so competition is fierce. Therefore, the properties are very well kept up and the service is very good. An excellent continental breakfast with hot food and plenty of choices. We usually stop somewhere in this area on our way to Dallas. We then don't have to go through Oklahoma City during rush hour. I'll definitely stay here again. Excellent value for the money we spent.

There is nothing open in Blackwell after 10pm. Check in at this hotel was slow and the next morning when we went to check out the clerk was asleep at the front desk. We will not be staying in Blackwell Oklahoma again. Go on down or up to Ponca City or Tonkawa.

Booked room at last minute and was pleased with room. Very affordable- under $100. Nice & clean hotel. Comfortable king size bed. Fridge had freezer for our ice packs. Breakfast included- waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, yogurt, etc. Very friendly staff.

I was unsure about planning our trip to stop overnight in this location but was pleasantly surprised. The friendliness of staff, clean room, king bed and morning breakfast made this location perfect for our needs. We arrived very late, we're tired and just wanted to get to bed. The kind woman at the front desk really helped us perk up after our long drive. her friendly smile was much appreciated, just wish I could remember her name. First my room was very clean, but I am getting ahead of myself, check in was fast and easy. We were tired and ready to relax, the lady that checked me in was so nice as she waited for me to find my things to check in. That being done, we went to our room. Very nice, with all the things you want,large bathroom,big TV,wonderful bed,frig, microwave. Not a sound to be heard. from check in to check out,very quiet.The breakfast was down home good.

From booking on-line to the reception at my late (after midnight) arrival to check-out all in all a good experience for under $100.00! I was traveling back to San Antonio from Canada and needed to stop after a particularly harrowing day, driving through 4 states and heavy rain the whole way! The evening desk person was pleasant and helpful, the room was DRY and the bed comfy. I slept like a log before setting out on the final leg of my journey.

The Best Western in Blackwell is hands down the place to stay if you are in the Blackwell area. It is easily accessible right off the expressway and has several places to eat all within walking distance. If you need more choices or need to do so shopping, it's all available just a mile or so away. The hotel staff is friendly and efficient. The hotel has all the standard amenities you expect; free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, indoor pool, gym, etc. The rooms were all updated, spotless and very comfortable. I was surprised to find that they offered more free premium movie channels than any other hotel I've stayed it. It was an excellent perk. It's been a VERY long time since I've stayed at a Best Western but this visit definitely put them back on my radar when planning my travels. I was very impressed and you will be too. Book here with confidence!

Stayed two nights. Room was clean... Had an odd but not offensive smell. Bed was comfortable pillows were nice. Bathroom was clean. 1 small mildew stain in grout for bathtub. The fridge had a food odor in it. This smell was not offensive either.

If you need a clean place to lay your head while traveling along I-35, this is pretty good! People are friendly, rooms are clean and the price isn't too bad. Right off the interstate, but not so close that you hear the trucks all night.

This hotel is in the "middle of nowhere" (far north Oklahoma) but was more than adequate and affordable. Good Pool, very good breakfast, and excellent staff. The smoking area is just outside of the pool area, but next to the a/c unit (a clean area, but a little noisy).

Everything was very good during our stay, including courtesy of personnel. The hotel is conveniently located at one of the exits of I-35 close to the Kansas-Oklahoma border. Great place to stay to break a long trip.

This is a great hotel! Clean, updated, friendly staff, amenities and a hot breakfast. I had been to 4 other hotels in the past month while traveling and this was by far the best and 2 of these were well known hotels in Reno! Intend to stay there again when traveling through the area.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and it's always friendly, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good too. It's nice to look forward to my stay after a long day of driving. There is also the convenience of gas and good food very close by.

While driving from my hometown on my way to a business meeting in Iowa. It was getting late and I decided to stop and rest the evening. There were many choices as the hotels in that area are very close to one another. I chose Best Western because I had stayed at Best Western before. I pulled in,( I did not have reservations) and asked if they had availability for two adults both with disabilities. She had a room with two queen beds on the first floor. Needless to say it was very quiet and we slept well. The next morning we checked out and headed out on the road well rested.

This was not our first visit to the Blackwell Best Western, but the last time was close to a year ago. I walked into the lobby yesterday, without a reservation, and the desk clerk looked at me and said "you've been here before" . . . . . and from then on, the check-in process was a real pleasure. Now, I have no idea if she REALLY remembered me from last year, but even if she didn't, it was an awfully nice thing to say. Beyond that, their rooms were spacious, their beds were GREAT, and their breakfast exceeded expectations by a whole bunch. And as if you needed another reason to stay at this motel, there's a Braum's ice cream restaurant just a couple of blocks down the road.

We stopped at this hotel at 1am on a road trip to Dallas. It was such a pleasant surprise! The lobby was nicer than expected and the rooms were clean and modern. The breakfast was more than enough for all of us. Given the price we paid, this was a great value!

We were traveling to TX and this was a little over halfway. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. They recommended a Mexican restaurant a block away that had the best Mexican food I've had in a long time.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel twice in the last 9 months and we are very pleased with the entire experience on both occasions. If you want a nice, quiet, comfortable stay with a very good free breakfast for a fair price, then you would want to consider this a stop for any travel along I-35 near the KS/OK border.

I stayed at this hotel May 11, 2016. No reservation, yet very friendly staff. Offered a city map to help us navigate the small town of Blackwell. The breakfast was excellent. Very comfortable beds, and very quiet. I would stay there again if I am in the area. Convenient to Interstate 35.

We arrived in Blackwell on a Sunday evening, halfway on a two day drive to home from Austin, Texas. We chose this hotel because to stop in Oklahoma City was too soon, but to drive 200 miles more to get to Wichita Kansas was too far. The town had little to offer, but this lovely BestWestern was delightful! Clean updated modern rooms and public spaces. Good beds and bathrooms, with a supplied microwave and fridge. A nice quiet nights sleep. The best part however was the kickass breakfast the next morning. We travel a lot, and I am used to the plastic dried biscuit with the speckled white glue that most places boasting a hot breakfast offer. This food was great, all the usuals, but also flavored sparking waters, real restaurant quality biscuits and gravy, great proteins - bacon and sausage, and a make your own breakfast burrito bar. On our next commute down I-80, I certainly return.

We stayed for one night as we were on our way home from our winter place. We were on the main level in a handicap room as I think the hotel was pretty full. Huge bath of course and two queen beds. Slept great as the beds were comfy and the hotel quiet. We left early (5ish) and even though breakfast didn't start until 6 we were offered both something to eat and coffee to go if we wished. Nice customer service!

Great motel, good price. Very helpful woman at the desk. Wonderful bed and quite new bathroom. Small pool but rather warm water. No hot tub. Excellent hot breakfast and clean. Excellent stop if you,re not looking for an entertainment area.

This is the meat and potato's type of hotel. You will have everything you need without breaking your wallet. Very nice and clean and located close to the highway for easy on and easy off. We were very please with the breakfast in the morning which saves you on the 1st meal of the day that was included in the price of the room.

This is a nice interstate hotel. Convenient access to the highway, clean, quiet. The breakfast in the morning was decent. It is a little more expensive than a typical interchange hotel, but I think it is worth the money.

We stay here every year on spring break on our way to Texas. Our room was very nice and the beds and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud! This hotel has never disappointed us. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very pleasant. Highly recommend this hotel

traveled from Wisconsin to Texas, the Best Western was the best hotel to stay at. They have it all, super clean and the breakfast is great. My kids love the pool. Even with how busy this place was the service was exceptional. This was even a pet friendly hotel and you would never know that pets were allowed, that is how clean this hotel is. Has an amazing mexican restaurant next to it also.

While taking a state and county road trip from Michigan to Yuma Arizona we stayed at the Best Western Blackwell Inn. The lobby was spacious and they had a computer to use if you needed it. The room was very nice and clean. There was a nice 43 inch flat screen TV and the internet download speed was a little below 5 megabits/ sec when we checked in at 6 PM but dropped to 2.5 mb/sec after the hotel filled. I was able to stream Netflix, although I only tried it for a short period so I can't report if there were any buffering issues after extended use. There is a Subway and a Mexican Restaurant within a short walking distance. We ate at the Los Padres restaurant and for two of us it was 20 dollars with drinks and we had more food than we needed and it was exceptionally good. Can't comment on breakfast as I am writing this on the evening of arrival. Overall I would think that this would be a very comfortable experience for an extended stay and definitely a very nice accommodation for an overnight stay.

rooms were nice and quite, bed was real comfortable People we dealt with were rally nice and polite and really helpful. we will stay there every time we are in that area for the weekend The coffee was great at anytime night or day. the breakfast was excellent

This was our second stay at this hotel. The hotel was as expected of a Best Western - good quality and good service. My only problem was with the on-line booking company. They charged my card three times and inflated the room rate. They did fix the problems as soon as I contacted them but I would never knowingly call them again.

The hotel staff is wonderful. Kevin is helpful and friendly. They have fresh cookies in the lobby.The new deluxe rooms are extremely nice because they are so new. It is rare that I find a room and bathroom as clean as this one. Breakfast was great! They had omelets, sausages, waffles, yogurts, pastries, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and more. They definitely don't go cheap. They had the good name brand yogurts and vanilla & chocolate caramel coffee creamers! I will definitely stay here again because I can tell that the Best Western in Blackwell cares about their customers!

The hotel staff is friendly, helpful, and the rooms are very comfortable, spacious, and modern. Free hot breakfast, and fast wifi. Great parking with nearby restaurants very close to the hotel. Many channels on the tv. This Best Western has plenty of meeting spaces for business purposes. Whether staying for business or pleasure, you will enjoy your stay at this Best Western hands down.

Great Place to stay on our way home from Arizona. Bed comfortable, TV great, Service was excellent. Even told us about a great place to eat near hotel and I would recommend it to others its called Los Potrous and wonderful food. Will stay at the Best Western Blackwell if the opportunity arises for us to be in Oklahoma again.

The lobby is spacious. The western art throughout the inn is very good and some excellent. Breakfast is hot and served well by friendly people. The inn is close to the interstate and convenient to various fast food chains. The management is friendly and caring.

I've stayed at this hotel before and I'd recommend it! When traveling alone, it's important to feel comfortable in a hotel. The room was so clean and inviting and the bed was real comfortable. There is good food close by too.

We needed a place to stay for a funeral in the local area. We stayed here and found the hotel and staff to be excellent. We travel from Texas to Missouri several times each year and were looking for a place to stay that would help break-up the trip. We feel we have now found that place.

We were just passing through and booked this hotel. I have never seen such a clean room. The bathroom was immaculate. The gal at the front desk was very friendly and helpful too. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here twice this year. Feels and appears to be very clean. Staff was friendly both times. This hotel is our half way point to somewhere we have to travel often and I hope they never let me down.

Very quality hotel, I stay here every time we go up there to hunt. great beds and very friendly staff. I have never had a bad stay, I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. It is not noisy or to crazy with people running around everywhere. Breakfast is always good and ready by 5:30 when they advertise it to be from 6am-10am.

I always enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff are good to my kids, grandkids, and my dogs. They are lways friendly. The hotel is always clean. Great breakfast. My grandkids love the pool. I love the relaxing atmosphere. It's easy access to the interstate and gas. Parking easy.

Stopped into blackwell after driving until I couldn't drive anymore. Just picked best Western blackwell inn at random because it looked acceptable. It was more than acceptable. It was incredibly clean,so much so that I didn't throw the bedspread on the floor like normal and even used the t.v.remote. (I'm not a germophobe but these things are usually nasty) The shower was gleaming clean,not even a stray hair that got missed. Two different firmness pillows to meet what you might use at home. Pleasurable desk clerks greet you every time you walk in (even though they know I'm just out for a smoke) oh yeah on that note,this is the most "smell neutral place I've EVER stayed. I mean that no smoke,farts,perfume,even harsh cleansers,just....air. The only distinct smell was that of hot coffee and a decent breakfast that was varied enough for anyone to eat. An oasis on the Plains to me,a great end to a bad week. Hope that helps,Dave.

The check in was ok, lobby laid out in an unusual fashion. General layout of motel was a bit odd. Breakfast was pretty good, nice variety. Our major issue was with the key-card system: The keys to our room didn't work. My wife discovered this after walking my handicapped father to the room. I discovered it after parking near an outside door, then being forced to walk around the building and tailgating in with someone. When my wife went to fix the keys, she was give a key WITH THE ROOM KEY MARKED ON IT IN BOLD NUMBERS, and was told that was the only key---the 'backup key'---that we would have. The point of the card-key system is to provide anonymity in case the key is lost. This is a security gap, as well as causing us inconvenience. (I had to block the back door open multiple times when going to/from my car---and there was a perfectly sized brick there, so obviously, I wasn't the first with this issue.)

Dear Jeffrey, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and concern. I would like to apologize again for the confusion with the key, and for the miscommunication in regards to switching it out. Unfortunately, our key card maker had just given up when you arrived. Our temporary solution to check you into your room as fast as possible was to use the backup key. We failed to communicate clearly to you that this was a temporary solution and we could issue you a new key once our replacement key maker was running (which was up within an hour). The block you encountered was used by our vendor when making deliveries. It will be replaced by a more secure solution. Thank you, Jynda Murray General Manager

After a long windy ride through milo growing country we stayed at our 1st Best Western. It was very refreshing to walk into this sparkling clean motel. The staff was cheerful and accommodating. The room was large with a comfortable bed and quiet heating/air conditioning unit.

Our stay was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The coffee was terrible to me. My husband thought the coffee was just ok. The bed was good. We stayed just one night on the way to visit family. It was convenient off highway 35.

This hotel is very tidy, and has a great staff. Both the person that checked us in and the person who checked us out went out of their way to accommodate us. We were tired after driving for 10 hours and their friendly service and inviting environment was refreshing after a long day on the road.

I used to stay at Best Westerns when I was on the road all the time 20 years ago. Was on a 2 day business trip to Blackwell so I chose the Best Western. Have not ever stayed in one of the newer styles of BW. Hotel is several stories compared to the old style where you parked in front of your door. I was very pleased. They still have the large rooms and the cleanest bathrooms. I requested the first floor and a late check out. Front desk clerk was very efficient and granted my request. I did not use the pool or fitness room but did step in the doorway and both were very clean and sanitary. Breakfast was good. Cheese omelets with salsa and sausage.

We made reservations to stop here after a long day on the Harley and were impressed with the service and room. The rooms was spotless but it was hard to read the air conditioner controls. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our long trip. Great Place to stay.

This hotel is worthy of a "Plus" title. The hotel is clean, the staff are excellent and the rooms are comfy, clean and large. Why this hotel is not rated a Best western Plus is beyond me. We have stayed at the Best Western Plus and wondered why it had that title...This is a must stay if you are in the area you will not be disappointed....

This motel was a nice find after driving for a long time. Best Western is a place you can always count on to be clean comfortable and quiet. And greeted by friendly people. Breakfast was good and check out was fast and efficient.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times and I've never had a complaint or issue. The staff is courteous and everything works the way it should. Several hotels now at this exit compared to 2006, but the Best Western has been there the longest and the service just as good in 2015 as it was in 2001 and 2006.
