Overall great hotel, rooms are updated, very clean! Close to attractions and shopping. Breakfast was ok, needs a little more variety but it's included, no need to run out in the AM to grab breakfast. Only bummer is that pool was closed, since I like my daily swims. But overall very good!

Stayed here for the extended weekend, the hotel was great and breakfast top notch. Went to local casino and was able to walk there. So many shops and restaurants locally to frequent. This was my wife and my 3rd stay here this year and love the place

Was very clean the rooms were quite comfortable I did enjoy being very close to the pool and the gym my grandson loved the pool in the hot tub we had a fabulous day and I will be booking another stay in a couple of weeks to take another family member my granddaughter didn't get to go this last time but she will this next time

First room had filthy bathroom, feces in toilet, hair in shower, soap scum in shower and on sink. Room not vacuumed, debris from former occupant in room. Moved us to a second room, odor, dirty walls, stains on bed spread, broken cabinets, also poorly vacuumed. Left at 3am just to get out of there.

The hotels was dirty and not kept up. The sheets on the bed were torn. The staff told me the owner was to cheap to keep the place updated and clean. They offered no assistance to me to put clean sheets on

After reading some of the reviews, we weren't certain what to expect. Overall we were very pleased with our experience. The women at the desk were pleasant and professional. (However, we would suggest a bell be available at the desk to summon someone to the desk. We waited nearly five minutes, but then we did arrive at 7pm, later than most.) Our room looked newly renovated and was clean and bright. The mattress was very comfortable! We had the best sleep we've had in a while! We would suggest a TV channel guide for the TV. Scrolling through the channels isn't relaxing! The breakfast bar provided a good breakfast and the tables were kept clean. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Crossing into New York from Niagara Falls, had chosen this location for my stop-over. Greeted by "Matthew" & given a great room with double beds. Convenient location, quiet & everything was top-notch. What a lovely room. Good bed=good sleep & a nice breakfast with great coffee. Easy on to the 90E & watched the sunrise. Will return if in the area & enjoyed my stay. Very clean & although the pool was down, I had a wonderful bubble bath. Highly recommend this venue.

one of the best hotels in batavia. staff is the best, so helpful and friendly, had daily conversations with them in passing, really felt welcoming. breakfast is good too, has a weekly menu. would stay again 100% the king suite is nice

Absolutely horrible!!! We stay in hotels 5 days a week for work and take everything with a grain of salt but we actually left early this place it was so bad. We booked a room for 4 but we're given a room with 1 king bed and a non pull out couch. The front desk lady was very nice but could only offer a room with 2 queens. No big deal, we just asked for some extra blankets to sleep on the floor. She tried her very best to be accommodating. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the hot tub and pool. The hot tub was luke warm the first night and actually cold the second, we were told it needed to be fixed and nothing could be done. This was for our son's birthday so we figured we would let this go as well until we were accused of calling 911 from a phone while we were all together not near the phone and asked to leave the pool. If this was a really nice clean room that was booked the right way in the first place we may have dealt with this, but it wasn't 3 strikes and we left. As I said the front desk person was very kind, but that was the only good thing about this horrible stay. I cannot warn you enough not to stay there.

Proceed with caution. I stayed here overnight with my husband and 2 year old. We stayed in a King Suite which had plenty of room for a pack and play and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included and offered waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal and fruit. The hotel is a bit dated and run down. My concern was with the cleanliness and the horrible smells that came from the bathroom (they were not ours). The shower basin was visibly dirty and small flies kept coming out of the sink drain. The water gave off a horrible smell that made me gag. The bathroom would also randomly give off the smell of feces even though we hadn't used the bathroom.

Great spot to stay for business or family when visiting the area. Good breakfast and a great accommodating staff. We stay here several times a year and always enjoy the convenience of location, close to everything and a good spot.

For the low cost, the room was fine. But I woke up in the morning to find bugs coming out of the bathroom sink drain. That pretty much ruined it for me. That and the staff smoking at the entrance of the hotel.

The hotel is nice and clean when you walk in. Then you walk up to the desk and there's a very sweet woman with a welcoming smile ready to check you in. Made me feel very welcome, and like I chose the right hotel to stay in for the night. Stephanie at the front desk is the best type of customer service you want to see, especially late at night after a long day of traveling. Checked us in with such ease and was very pleasant. Good breakfast, happy with the room, and all around happy with our stay. Will return in the future if in the area again.

I did read previous reviews before getting reservation. They were more positive, with few negatives. Several things we liked the best: beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast bar was great, and cleanliness of the room.

I generally default to Best Western as a reliable mid-range hotel choice. This was a single overnight stay, en route to a speaking engagement further west in NY, where I had stayed for the same reason for an earlier engagement. It is conveniently located right off the NY Thruway with easy access to other services nearby. The value and general quality of the facility leaves me still likely to return. Still, at the basic (not Plus or Premier or any of the other 16 BW brand levels) the facilities are showing their age and, while I am not looking for flashy high end furnishings, a bit more attention to things like scuffed furniture and wall damage fixed with tape gives a better feel. Still, love the substantial hot breakfast and the hot tub!

Hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were just what we needed after a long week of travel. The breakfast was a little underwhelming but it did the trick. Overall we'd stay here again.

The Pool was freezing and hot tub broken couldn't do anything besides sit in room. Owner has been gone for over 2 months. Joining rooms water pipe busted and still not fixed. People were not happy about the pool and hot tub

The room was dirty and in poor condition the tv stand had duct tape fixing it. The jacuzzi tiles were grimy and broken not one but a lot of them there was a small blood spot on the floor tiles so was obviously not cleaned the shower looked like it wasn't cleaned in a long time the floor was dirty and the wall had dry shampoo or conditioner on it the upper half of the walls had a very thick coating of dust. The ceilings in foyer of the hotel were missing tiles with wires hanging When we got there the morning receptionist was snippy because we had requested early check in when placing reservation. That night I went to talk to the evening receptionist because the sign said the hot tub was out of order but the pool was ice cold and I didn't know if maybe the heater was just turned off my husband is going threw chemotherapy treatments and is overwhelmingly sensitive to cold and it was way to cold for me so it would Avebury him she was drinking a beer watching the bills game that's not the part that bothered me she went to check the pool with me and said it was fine suggested hot tub I said it's broken she said it's just the jets aren't working I said no it's green and cloudy she rolled her eyes then complained because her pizza got burned while she was with me The next morning I was burning a candle to try and cover up some of the smell from my husband throwing up and the chemo makes his bathroom trips extra extra smelly apparently you could smell the candle in The hall I was charged $125 because the smoke from the candle would make them have to do extra cleaning We had gone there for our anniversary trying to relax and get our minds off the health issues it was the absolute worst experience I have ever had and we left early I took pictures of some of the things wrong

My family and I were driving through Bativia, NYC during a crazy blizzard. We stopped to stay the night but ended up having to stay 2 nights since there was a complete shutdown of the highway. What can I say other than we were so lucky to have found this hotel! The staff went over and beyond for everyone in what was a crazy emergency situation. They answered all our questions, they gave us towels, toiletries, cleaned our rooms when asked and they were just so kind and thoughtful. I'm sure they were overwhelmed with the amount of people coming in but they stayed calm and professional. We stayed from Dec 23-25, 2022 and were treated like family. Thank you everyone for helping out some stranded Canadians! Having a room to stay in and warm breakfast in the morning for my toddler, husband and mother in-law was heaven sent when situations could of been must worse for us. Thanks again for your hospitality. To management reading this, please do something extremely nice for your staff who worked during this difficult time. They really deserve it!

I stayed 3 nights to relax and regroup. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a king room, which was very clean and comfortable. It had a large flat screen tv which I could turn to face the sitting area. Pool was clean and relaxing, even if just a little cool at first.

Room was large, king size bed was very comfortable and the entire facility was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. internet was speedy. Really enjoyed our stay and will return on future trips. Proximity to highway was no problem, it was very quiet.

The rooms were large, clean and definitely updated. The rooms seem so airy and welcoming. Microwave and large refrigerator. The staff was very pleasant and check-in very quick. Large free breakfast. Definitely worth the price, which was pretty affordable.

This is an older hotel but it's in good shape. The bathroom was very nice with a modern glass walled shower. The carpet looks new. There was only one very small bench to put a suitcase on. I asked for a luggage rack but they didn't have any. The clerk said other people have also asked for one. We stayed in room 201, the door to this room was a little warped or something, it had to be forcefully pushed closed. Breakfast was okay, there was eggs and sausage, waffles, toast, etc. The staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful.

Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Good breakfast in the morning, they had round scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels and toast, a waffle maker, apples & bananas, juices and coffee. The only problem was the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the non-smoking room.

Almost $300 (including tax) for one night at this hotel was way too high. It's clean though and right off the Thruway which is good. Breakfast was hot but eggs are pre-formed. “Hot tub” was only warm, not hot, which was a huge disappointment.

While the booking, receptionist, and check-in experience were great, the overall experience left me unsure. The main problems were a remnant smell in hallways from when smoking inside used to be allowed, our bathroom door wouldn't latch closed, the glass shower had a slight chip with a sharp edge dangerous for kids, and overall there seemed to be grime/dust build up in corners and behind doors. Further, while the pool was open, a sign remained displaying it was closed. The hot tub was barely 95F and the pool room felt musty. We still enjoyed it, but it felt questionable.

We live in town, but we always get a room here with the children so they can go swimming! The rooms are always clean, the employees are always kind and the breakfast is always great! Lots of options including hot food.

The Batavia Best Western was a clean and comfortable stay! Clean rooms and clean working pool and hot tub! We will stay again when in town! Breakfast was good you make your own waffles, and delivery to room was easy!

Spent 1 night at this hotel, king room. The woman that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful also when I was looking for ice. Room was clean and as pictured on the hotel's website. Included breakfast was as good. The hotel is right off I-90, as you exit the NY Thruway it is straight across the end of the toll exit. We would stay here again.

We've stayed here before as it is convenient to things we visit in the area. The staff is friendly and the facility is neat, clean and fully functional. We feel it is an excellent value for the price. It is conveniently located near the NYS Thruway and we intend to stay here again.

When checking was questioned why my stay was so low, I had used points. Our bathroom sink and wall had toothpaste all over. Tried to use pool area but had no lights and no one at desk. Tried a few times but then just went to bed. Was told before booked had hot breakfast but didn't even offer toast or bagels but had jelly and cream cheese.

I called and canceled my reservation because my wife and I were sick with covid and we were still charged for our stay. I've called multiple times but either put to a voice-mail or told I would get a call back and still nothing. I would love to actually stay there but at this point the way we have been treated what is the point

A group of us always stay at this hotel for New Years Eve. We typically have a good experience but the hotel is getting very rundown and poorly maintained. The rooms need some serious updating and the cleanliness has gone downhill overall. Our room has torn wallpaper in the bathroom, our friend's room still had handprints on the headboard, the hot tub had black lint floating around in it and it didn't get very hot. This was our 5th year of spending New Years Eve here and unless improvements are made it will unfortunately be our last

We needed a place as a halfway point to travel to MI from MA. It was a first time lodging with our 2 golden retrievers. It was located right off I90 yet set back enough that you didn't have the highway noise. The hotel was quiet. We all slept well. They also have a nice area to walk the dogs. A very pleasant stay. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Dogs weren't a problem at all.

We stayed here one night when passing through and it wasn't bad, but not great either. The room was clean enough but there was definitely a funky smell. It's a smoke-free hotel but it smelled a bit like cigarette smoke or maybe weird cleaners? It wasn't real strong but not pleasant either. The door to our room stuck and we had to shove it to open/close it and it made a loud scrapping sound when we did. The bed was a tad lumpy but was good enough for decent night's sleep. The hotel was quiet and there was a sparse breakfast provided. If traveling through the area again, I'd probably try another hotel and hope it was better.

Air conditioning didn't work The bathroom fan made loud screeching noises but never actually rotated the toilet had yellow staining and debris around the back behind the toilet seat bolts! And you couldn't turn the shower on without getting wet you had to reach into the shower to turn it on therefore I got soaked my whole head got soaked there was a foul smell of septic and a strong smell of marijuana

We are Best Western rewards members and have stayed here many times. The hotel is not fancy but is always clean and is convenient to the highway. Staff is always helpful. I know we'll be back on our next trip through the area.

Our stay was nice and quiet. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel is just down the road from Batavia downs, lots of shopping options and dining options. The room we were in did not have a tub only a shower which I could see as a problem for young kids, it was fine for us.

Hotel itself was great. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and plenty of room for myself, my daughter and her dog. Pet friendly is essential, as I was moving my daughter cross country for a job. The one downside was the clerk that checked us in was disinterested at best. As the first face you see, a little more personality would go a long way

Great reasonably priced hotel with good amenities. It was very to access from the Interstate and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Rooms and common are all well furnished and exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Great stay both evening and morning staff were friendly! Comfortable room, great pricing, grab and go breakfast was offered but didn't take advantage of it slept in. Would stay here again very close to Batavia Downs Casino!

Moving cross country, I dropped in around 11pm looking for a bed for the night. Check-in was quick, the room was convenient. I slept wonderfully and had a nice hot shower in the morning before hitting the road again. Staff was friendly. Exactly what I needed under the circumstances.

Hotel staff is very tourist friendly. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast (when available) is a delightful buffet and plentiful. Have been there many times and have been disappointed when we go back. Great value for the local area.

We have had business trips to this area and we always stay at best western. It's right off the highway, has nice rooms and friendly staff. We will be staying here again when we will be next time in this area.

Boyfriend and I wanted a little night away with a big enough tub for the two of us. Found Best Western for a reasonable rate and close by. We were very disappointed. Our tub was filthy. Dirty with residue, dirt, ashes and hair from previous guest. We aren't usually the type to complain but this needed to be brought to the front managers attention. We were handed a bottle of cleaner and a rag. Our room also smelled like someone smoked a carton of cigarettes in here. :( We will not be back. -Hard to capture the dirt in pictures, but it's there.

We enjoy staying at this best western hotel. All the staff members were helpful. We did enjoy a hot breakfast in the morning. There was lot of option to choose from. Room was large enough for our family.

This hotel was gross. Our first room had empty beer cans in the closet and a stain on the bedspread. The room was freezing and heater was ancient and in poor working condition.We were moved promptly to another room. This room was also freezing and heater was terrible. I actually ran my blow dryer to heat the room. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work. The mirror had a crack in it. Luckily we had 2 beds because one bed had hair and stains on the sheet when we took the bedspread down. Totally gross ! If it wasn't so late when we checked in (11:00 pm) , I would have just left .They took off 50% of the room price... not enough ..

Location was just off of the T-way exit in Batavia, NY and easy to get to. The place was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and made the check in easy. The breakfast provided was excellent. I give this place high marks.

Was upgraded from 2 queens to a king. Breakfast was included and we were close to I-90 (seconds away). The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was extremely clean. the price was outrageously low, thinking there was something wrong with this place (boy I was wrong). will stay there every time we go through weather for work or leisure.

This is the first time that we stayed at this Best Western. Location was great, room was great, price was great. This will now be our "go to" hotel when visiting the area. Close to stores, casino & restaurants. Easy on/off of the interstate.

We stayed here on our points this week. The check in was seamless. We did mention to the front desk staff that we prefer a second floor room (we had been assigned first floor) they assured us it was very quiet and wouldn't be a problem. It was a problem, along with a few other issues. The room was not clean. We guessed that the room had not been used in quite some time as it was very dusty with some cobwebs around the window. We had to get rid of a spider that was hanging precariously from the ceiling. When we put on the heat, the bed closest to the unit was showered with dust and debris that had been settled in the unit. This was our clue that the room was not used in some time. The worst part was when we rolled back sheets there were two hairs in the bed. The sheets appeared clean, the hairs were short, like a short haircut short. My hair is long and my partner has mm length hair, so definitely not ours. We also found hair stuck to the toilet. It was likely wiping the toilet down with a dirty cloth. The remote didn't work, that was a quick fix as we asked the front desk for new batteries. Again, the clues kept adding up that this room had sat empty for quite some time. When it was time to sleep the real annoyance began. The person above us must have been practicing their clog dancing. This went one til way past 12. The only solution would have been to move rooms, which at this point, we didn't want to do as we had already retired to bed. After that stopped, we did have a good sleep. The clean bed was comfortable. The hotel appears to be poorly built with sound travelling a lot. Perhaps insulation between floors and a solid floor would have helped. The halls were bouncy and noisy even with carpeting. Breakfast was standard fare. However, the juice machine was out of order. Considering the hotel is next door to a gas station and less than a kilometre to Walmart and Target, if I was employed here I would have run out to buy some jugs of juice for the guests. This is where I see a failure to anticipate guest needs and wants. Those small gestures go far. We are frequent travellers and it's these kinds of details that set hotels apart. I mentioned we were here on points so the room cost points we had been saving on our reward card. We felt sheepish complaining too much as it was “free” but I did fill out the hotel survey. For my trouble I got a standard form letter. This is what precipitated me also leaving the review here. When I complain about legitimate concerns; a “we really don't care” form letter that doesn't say anything, but they'll take my suggestions (no, they won't) felt like a brush off. We won't stay here again and we only gave two stars because the staff we did interact with at the front desk during check in and check out were pleasant and efficient.

Very nice hotel and I would recommend it because it is close to restaurants, shopping and theaters. Near race track and slots. Not far from Buffalo or Niagara Falls. Nice hot tub and pool and exercise room. Great hot breakfast.

My family had car troubles on the way home from Thanksgiving Holiday. This hotel was perfectly located close to the highway. Hotel very clean with all the amenities we needed. I cannot say enough about the staff. They were super friendly and accommodating. Really glad we chose this hotel.

I stayed there two nights. The excercise room was 47 degrees and the attendant refused to walk the 30 yards to use his key and turn it on. The breakfast area is small cramped and crowded. But it is clean and cheap and I'd probably recommend it but wifi is terrible and goes in and out. I didn't bother reporting it as knew it would do no good..

Good value for the price! The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical and satisfying. Just a few minutes off of the interstate and only a few minutes from an assortment of restaurants and general shopping needs.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Customer service was excellent and the continental breakfast was good!! checking in and out was very fast no problem and everything was close for what we needed..

We stayed for one night while traveling from Michigan to New Hampshire. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was typical for similar hotels. The location was good and there were several restaurants from which to choose.

The exterior and interior look standard typical Best Western standard. We checked in late but the front desk was speedy given we had young children that look tired. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean and nothing to note. Breakfast items include typical eggs, sausages, fruits, yogurts, selection of breads/pastries, cereal, coffee, milk, juice and tea. Overall, I am happy with the value it provided and things were good (including fast check out) during our stay. Will return to the hotel if we need to take a break.

Our stop-over at Batavia, NY.,we stayed in this BW, our restful sleep was nice, the complementary breakfast was just okay, the coffee, good, but the food was not to our satisfaction- the eggs, the bacon not as we like them. The swimming pool was closed. We were disappointed with this BW, not the way we usually expect this hotel chain to be.We learned a lesson, not to assume the quality just because of the name(Best Western)! The rooms are clean and the TV is not the digital we expected!

We stayed here for one night - very nice place! Room was clean, internet was working perfectly, breakfast choices were very nice. Room was quiet, bed comfortable, very nice experience. We would stay here again!

This was our worst experience. We have stayed in couple of hotels & this was the worst. The first disappointment we had was at check in where we were advised that the pool is not open. There was no info on the website regarding the same. Second disappointment happened when we entered the room. The beds were not made properly. There was lot of door in the room. One of the room's toilet was broken. The drapes were torn. & in the night the AC stopped. The staff was rude. Overall it was a bad choice. Would not recommend to anyone.

We stay here often this place has everything to offer that we need room was good size. We do always enjoy free continental breakfast. House keeping staff and desk staff was very helpful. We do recommend this hotel to everyone.

My family booked the room for 5 nights. EVERY night but the very last one we had to have our keycards reactivated. The food was horrible, it was mostly cold and hard and the coffee was not the best. The pool is not working because the health dept. said it was unsanitary and shut it down. There is still water just sitting in the pool and the hot tub. The service we received from the girl at the front desk was short and rude. She was also the same one that kept reactivating our cards and telling us she was setting it up for the week, EVERY NIGHT. When we did get room service, they did not change the sheets, just made the beds and I will assume that they gave us new towels but I can't be sure of that. I would not recommend this place at all.

Room was clean,towels in bathroom were stained....very off putting. Could feel the springs in the mattress . Think it needed to be replaced.The BW was handy to the thruway and made easy on and off....

A quick overnight at this hotel was plenty. It's beautiful and clean, and the staff is OUTSTANDING, but it's full stop after that. The bed was hard. The big walk in shower had a bleh rain type showerhead that was impossible to reach to adjust without standing right under it. SO you either start with a blast of cold or hot right off the bat. Skip the breakfast. I was pleased to get cranberry juice, but the sausage and eggs were designed to go on an english muffin -which they did not have. Tasted horrible too. Hubby said his waffle (fresh, not frozen at least) was quite dense and he couldn't finish it. I've never seen that happen before. Cereals were generic versions. It was fine for a quick overnight on the road, but I would probably not choose it again.

Older building but that is not the problem..from the elevator ride through the hallways to our room there was an odor that was not pleasant and the room was dated but it also was smelly. We had no shampoo in the bathroom but did not realize it until morning when we were ready to shower and leave. The breakfast was "meh" okay. but to be expected. Just cannot understand how this location is a "Crown" level when it is so old and gross. The staff was pleasant and kind of helpful but it just seems like whole place needs to be torn down and redone. I will never recommend this place nor will I ever stay here again..and we stayed one night on our up to our destination and one night on our way back..would have gone somewhere else but it was pre-paid for the second night. I read the reviews on trip advisor and believed the review which was obviously done an employee because no one right mind would give this location a great review. Please go somewhere else or the next town if if lodging is booked..worth the extra drive to Buffalo for us next time. Blown Away with how this location can get over $100.00 a night for a room...Geez

Ok location but in a row of other motels all quite close together. The room was a MINI suite ( look at pictures on TA and BW website). Other than the pillows being too thick for sleeping, the bed was fine. The sofa bed mattress was way too thin for an adult, even a small adult. Kids maybe ok though. The housekeeping was very good as was the exterior condition. Breakfast was what you would expect for a BW without a food service license.

we love our time at the best western in batavia. pool was cool and clean. breakfast was hot and delicious. rooms were clean and well decored with all amenities even microwave and mini fridge. free parking on and off highway I90 was quick and simple.

Quick summary: clean, comfortable, quiet room with a few extras. Some minor quibbles. check room rates in the area. We stayed in room #123, which has two comfortable queen beds. The room also has a microwave, refrigerator, TV, coffee maker (no tea), iron/board, closet, 2 drawer chest for your stuff, ample desk to work. Bench chair. Roomy enough to be comfortable. No in-room safe. Friendly, professional service. Excellent housekeeping. The bathroom has a large shower (i.e. no bathtub) with shampoo, conditioner, and lotion for toiletries. Towels were a bit flimsy, but did the job. Good counter space to spread out your stuff. Breakfast is complimentary and good enough: good fruits, yogurts, make-your-own fresh waffles, bagels/toast/muffins, cereals, juices, etc. The sausages were in patties and scrambled eggs in round disk shapes to make a breakfast sandwich, if you want. Coffee was okay, but only had regular milk or coffee creamers (no half-and-half.) Complimentary ifi worked reasonably well. Easy access from the US 80/90 highway. There are a few restaurants in driving distance, but nothing walkable that we could see. There is a nice indoor pool but we did not use it as we were just stopping for the night. Due dilligence: We are high level members of the BW loyalty program, and use the chain exensively. Therefore, we have some sense of comparison properties. In a perfect world: + the breakfast room would have half-and-half + the pillows would have more options than hard poly fill + the towels would not be so small and thin Admittedly, we used our BW loyalty points for the room. When we booked, the cost was $199 a night - more than we usually pay for a BW. I have no idea why this price was in effect (we had to book within a week - last minute pricing? Was there anything going on in town where they jacked up the price?) While this is a good property, we would probably have looked elsewhere if we were not using the BW points. There are other hotels in the area that we would have loked at at this price. Summary: a good stay in many ways, but not enough to justify what might have been a $199 room rate.

This BW is situated close to the highway; there's a Starbucks in the nearby Target, and a few decent restaurants nearby. I have no complaints - except for the institutional cleaner smell throughout from the lobby into the rooms - and no compliments, except for Sarah who checked us in and was gracious and pleasant. Room is well-equipped, bed comfortable, bathroom spacious enough, and things were pretty clean except the carpet could have had another vacuum over. Standard fare. I don't eat the breakfasts that are served in places like this - unripe bananas, cottony apples, almost fake eggs... just doesn't appeal. The pool is well-kept; the jets on the jacuzzi weren't working.

We were at this hotel for 2 nights. All the ammenities are great with the exception of housekeeping. My son had stuffed animals in the bed and when they came to do the room they didn't make the bed. They left a note saying that they were not allowed to touch any belongings. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and never got this happened. Any other place they just put them in a chair or on the bed after it is made. We came back to the room at midnight to find the bed unmade. I will not be staying here again. If you have kids make sure you do not encounter this problem.

We are able to check in early! Staff was excellent. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Pool was very well maintained, loved the non slippery pool deck. Breakfast was above average than other Best Westerns normally offer. Access to 90 was very convenient. Nothing negative to say.

Very pleasant guy on reception who helped with suggestions of where to eat and when we asked where we could buy milk, he went into the kitchen area and gave us some.. Very pleasant room with one comfortable bed and a large comfortable sofa to relax and watch TV if neccessary. Bathroom with all requisites and fluffy white towels.

It's a convenient location to the park and they advertise a pool & spa. We were very happy. Spa was Very nice. Rooms were smaller than we are used to but decorated nicely and the service was very friendly and professional. They were obviously finishing up some updates as there was bags of concrete and tiles stacked in the stairwell but that didn't impeed on our stay. Would recommend for a short getaway!!

First time at this hotel location. The hotel location is near the highway, and restaurants. The front desk staff was friendly and efficiently checked us in/out. The room had large flat screen TV (with operational remote), new rug & furniture, mini refrigerator and microwave, spacious bathroom, free toiletries, plenty of towels. The air conditioner/heater operated easily, and well to cool/warm the room through the night. The shower had excellent water pressure and drainage, the sink had large countertop and great drainage. The toilet was clean, had two rolls of toilet paper available, flushed solid and liquids with one push of the handle, was quiet after tank filled, and appeared new. We slept soundly since the king bed was firm, stocked with soft/firm pillows, with a summer weight comforter, black out curtains, quiet floor, (away from the elevator, ice machine or pool) and well functioning air condition/heater unit. There was plenty of parking in a well lighted clean lot. Breakfast was ready at 5:30 am with hot or cold food choices to start the day right! We had a restful night, a safe place to park the car, and a delicious breakfast! Highly recommend staying at this Best Western Hotel when in Batavia NY or Mumford NY! Thanks for being a great stop over!

The BEST complimentary breakfast around!! The pool and hot tub were very clean and had guest towels. The beds were cozy, refrigerator to put of food, we were able to get into our room earlier than expected and all the workers were very friendly!

The hotel was smaller, but cute. Super convenient location to town. Room was nice and everything was clean. Pool and hot tub area were nice. I was highly impressed by the breakfast and breakfast options, definitely the best included breakfast I've ever been to.

the back of this property backs onto a truck stop / rest stop! so trucks drive in and out all night long, beeping when reversing, and leaving their motor running. property is also close to highway so some highway noise also but not like the truck rest stop. the hotel is nice and well maintained but the noise is terrible in the back rooms. also i was woke up to a hammering noise from inside the hotel at 5:30am.

We booked one night at this Best Western as part of a 12 Day road trip across the USA. Along the way, we slept in a few Quality Inn and Beaumont, Super 8 and Comfort Inn, which were all awesome and of which we have nothing bad to say about ... BUT ... ... the night we spent at this Best Western what's the best of them all. Great and friendly staff, room was awesome, the breakfast was a bit above what we had in all the previous Hotels (and they had bacon!!) ... the swimming pool & the hot whirlpool was a welcome plus after a long day behind the wheel. Room, beds, carpet, floors, pools, kitchen ... Everything was super clean and it smelled good everywhere. if I would have one tip to give you all is never trust the prices you get online when searching a place to rest in the area you are, because from our 11 days road trip experience, they were all way much higher than the prices we got directly, at these hotels front desks. And if we knew that before, we would have booked at Best Western all the time because the price we had online was $140 ... The price we got at the front desk was $80 taxes included

Our rooms were nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and everything about our rooms was well kept. the bathroom was very well kept as well. They offer a full hot breakfast and the bacon and eggs was delicious!

This place is very disgusting. It has bed bugs , we had to argue to get our FULL refund. We should've have to argue that especially in this type of situation. The management is very horrible. I don't recommend anyone staying there. Very disgusting place. Never again !

Although the cleanliness of the room wasn't exceptional, there was some tags and water bottles left from the previous guests the stay was still enjoyable. The room was adequate sized and the heater and air-conditioning unit was incredible. Comfortable Beds nice pool and fitness center.

We stayed there on 2 different nights our 1st stay was really nice except our son left his blanket and pillow behind and when we tried to get it back the communications could have been better. On our 2nd stay the room could have been cleaner found a plastic spoon in the sheets on one bed and an empty water bottle between the mattress and wall.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend and we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel, the spacious room and the jacuzzi! Lukcy for us it was a slow weekend at the hotel so we didn't expereince the noise issues that other guests expressed.

my family and i go to the best western in batavia ny every year and we love it rooms are very clean and neet always smells fresh the pool and hot tub are clean and amazing the staff are always kind and willing to help with every need the comp breakfast is very delish waffels to eggs and sausage to bagels and muffins and cereal fresh milk ornge juice fruit omg its awsome we love it its not to far from out home but they make u feel like your 1000 miles away and theres great shopping and food like all within 3 miles of hotel again thank you we will return room 103 was awsome

Honestly my worst hotel stay ever. We booked 2 rooms. The first problem was one room was not cleaned from last stay, thought I walked into the wrong room. They gave us a different room, the window was wide open with no screen and there was at least one mosquito in the room. Our friends in that room opened the fridge and there were some old leftovers in it that smelled so bad that one of the kids vomited. Went to the desk to complain and they told us the smell was not from the fridge but from the vomit! Should have left then but they moved to another room. In the morning the friends went to shower and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned, so we left a day earlier than planned and went to a different hotel. The pool area was FILTHY. It was a hot and humid day and there was no air conditioning in the breakfast area. I watched a older woman dripping sweat. We booked the rooms and felt so bad for our friends that we refused to let them pay us back and asked for at least a discount. they gave me the owners phone # and he argued that there was nothing wrong, like we should have checked the shower for hair before we went to sleep. He finally agreed to refund a small portion of the fee but when he did it was only half of what he promised. We travel a lot and never had a stay like this. It even seems unbelievable to me as I write this.

It was a very noisy stay. Lots of kids and families monopolizing the pool/spa and breakfast area. Very wet in the hallway and exercise room. Amorous couples in the hot tub. Children were allowed to run up and down hallways loudly. Breakfast and room were good.

Recently stayed here, hotel room was average - sofa and coffee table in front section, King bed, refrigerator, microwave and tv on other side. Complimentary breakfast in the morning. Waffles were good and coffee was always on.

Nice hotel and close to restaurant and shopping. Well kept. Very clean. Well maintain. Breakfast had a great variety. Pool was very clean. Hot tub was nice but it could have been as little hotter. Definitely will go back. All the staff where very pleasant and helpful.

Stopped overnight on a trip. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent customer service. Breakfast was typical, yet the bagels were fresh and it seems they were supplied from a local delivery. Evening desk person noted two award accounts in my name. Wrote down numbers and a phone number to call to combine the two accounts.

The bed was a bit hard and the pillows were a bit soft for my liking. There was rarely someone at the front desk, which was annoying. Breakfast was good. I could hear lots of road noise when the heater was not on.

We stayed at this hotel on our way home from Maine to Michigan. It was easy to find and check in was quick as we reserved the night before. Staff was not particularly friendly. The room was adequate but nothing special. They have an older fiberglass tub with a rough bottom that didn't look very clean and there was no television guide. The price was reasonable and we just stayed one night.

we visit this area few times a year and we always stay at this hotel. newly renovated rooms. staff always take care of us. we do always stay in king suites. room is bigger then average room size. I would always recommend this hotel to anyone.

Cable doesn't work properly, literally just switches back and forth threw the same few channels, so frustrating and annoying. Also WiFi works the same way had to stay at this place all week and some days it would work some not, pretty much does what it wants when it wants, embarrassing! There are a few other options for hotels right next to this one, stay at one of those this place is a joke.

THE NOISE FROM TRUCKS GOING BY ON I90 WAS LOUD AND UNENDING.. THE RACKET CARRIED ON ALL NIGHT WITH NO DECREASE IN INTENSITY. WE GOT ABSOLUTELY NO SLEEP. The noise was so pervasive that other hotel amenities, all though satisfactory, did not matter. The primary function of a hotel is to provide reasonable conditions for a traveler to get a restful, good night's sleep. In this the Best Western Crown Inn and Suites failed miserably. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

For the most part this hotel was ok, but not up to the usual standards of Best Western Hotels. I primarily judge a hotel on the cleanliness of the bathroom and this hotel failed in that respect. The bathroom was very tired and the tub was really dirty. We should have complained when we got our room, but we are not the type of people who like to complain and we were only there for one night. I booked my hotel reservation through what I thought was the front desk at Best Western Crown and Suites. Somehow I ended up at Expedia. How could I book through Expedia when I call for a reservation at the front desk?? When arriving I asked about AAA discount and I got told that I was prepaid so no AAA was allowed. I was staying at this hotel for my daughter's soccer tournament. I was extremely disappointed in the price of this hotel. The hotel had the highest price per night in town at $219 but was the only hotel available so I had no choice but to book it. Never again! The rooms are definitely not worth $219. After speaking to another family from our group, the front desk told them they were offering a rate of $149 for anyone in town for the soccer tournament, but since we all somehow were very mysteriously booked through Expedia, we could not get this rate. This reservation was for one night Saturday checking out Sunday. The rates for the next night after the soccer tournament was $79 and then following weekend $149. Nice price gouging for a youth soccer tournament! The bathroom was very small,the tub in our bathroom was filthy, and the faucet in the shower did not work properly. The television only had about 10 working channels. We will never be back.

Hotel was better than expected. Friendly staff. Room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was fresh and decent selection. Had minor problem with TV but staff member was able to correct quickly. My king room was spacious, modern and clean but the rest of this hotel needs an update. The elevator shakes and rumbles and the breakfast was just ok. The wifi was good and so was the front desk staff (very friendly). Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Overall my first impression was good. Stayed 1 night. In the AM found toenails in the blanket! Dining room was very hot and humid, hard to enjoy their free breakfast when the room temp was so sticky. Others were commenting on how nice the breakfast items were, but hated the heat in the dining area also. I will try another BW. If it is the same as this one, they will lose a customer. It is a shame, because the food was fresh and good, the room itself was very nice, and the bed extremely comfortable.

Needed a room so my husband and I could attend a local antique steam and tractor show with our club. Some of the reviews of the surrounding hotels (they are pretty close together) were less than appealing for the price. I started the booking online as I needed an accessible room, I decided to call instead. The lady on the phone was very pleasant and polite and got me booked a bit cheaper than the price I saw online. We arrived mid evening and as we walked through the vestibule there was this septic smell and I thought maybe I had made a mistake. But the lobby was super clean, up to date decor. The staff was very friendly and check-in was super fast. Thankfully our room was just down the hall. It was larger than expected and also modern decor. We were pleased to see there was a fridge. I had looked on line to see if there was one, but did not see one in any pic or on the accommodations list so I will keep than in mind for next time. We had room 120. It was large enough to easily fit my scooter for night time charging without having to step around it. A nice closet and luggage rack, microwave, big tv, plenty of outlets and the two queen beds were very comfy. The bathroom was fine as far as bathrooms go, but it looked like the room had been modernized, but not the bathroom. Although the accommodations were fine and much appreciated, an upgrade to a walk/roll-in shower would be much appreciated. The sink was fine. The toilet seat was plastic and would slide to one side which could be a potential pinching hazard. The floor was great, large, non-slip tiles. The wallpaper was peeling. Perhaps updating them to something more suitable for a room that sees a lot of moisture. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, better than some, worse than others. We ate it once. However the room was clean and the service person was on the ball making sure everything was stocked and hot. She was also pleasant.

We chose this hotel as it is centrally located to Niagra Falls, Letchworth State Park, and Buffalo. The location proved to be convenient for day trips to the above mentioned destinations. Starting with the best things about this hotel, all of the staff were exceptionally cheerful, friendly, and helpful!!! The swimming area was warm and inviting with an awesome jacuzzi pool! The complimentary breakfast was adequate, clean, and well-stocked. I would have liked to have seen a better offering of hot/cooked items such as scrambled eggs, hash browns, and/or oatmeal. Also would have appreciated decaf tea bags. The room was perhaps the weakest link. The pillows basically collapsed when they met with your head. The heating/cooling system was very noisy. The lighting in the room was dim even with every light source turned on. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low and the temperature could have been hotter. The toilet was oriented in an awkward manner with the handle being on the side of the tank and under the extended sink counter. It also required that you hold it to completely flush.

Arrived some 5 hrs before check in only because it is raining cats and dogs outside. The clerk could see that i had nowhere to go and accommodated me by allowing me to check in early (this doesn't happen much). I have been at this motel several times over the years while working the RR industry and every time i have found everything from the spacious parking lot to the heated pool to be top shelf. I highly recommend the Batavia Best Western as a great motel. It is within 400 yrs of the NY Thoroughfare; Many very nice eateries; and even a casino just down the street.

The staff were very kind and the maintenance gal was great. However, when we got into our room, I had to clean and sanitize the tv remote, there was sauce or something all over it. The toilet seat was loose and slid off to the side. I let the front desk know and she politely said she would leave maintenance a note. After my niece was in the pool, she went to take a shower. The shower knob did not work so you could only take a bath. I called the front desk and reported the shower issue and she said someone would be up to fix it. (Which the maintenance gal promptly did come and tighten the toilet seat, fixed the shower so it worked). I asked for another room but the hotel was full. I asked for a discount but was told to speak with the day staff. At breakfast, my husband had bread with green mold on it. I alerted the breakfast employee and she immediately took care of that situation. We have been on vacation for 3 weeks and have stayed in several hotels. Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel. Hopefully it was just our room and the rest of the rooms were in better condition.

I was shocked when I saw a roach in the bathroom early in the morning, stepped on it placed in a cup and rushed to work. At my return at noon , I requested to speak to the manager. The property "manager" ( whom was mopping the floor ) stated that he was the manager... I requested his company zID or business card and he declined , then I requested his name and also declined. I didn't feel safe under such circumstances and called their hrsdquarters to file an incident report. Headquarters called the property and they offer me a room in an upper floor. I had to go back to work and left it as undecided but to hold one. As soon as I hung up the phone, I felt a strong bite and saw blood on my ankle, stepped on it clean the blood and preserved it ( see pictures) After work, I went all over looking with hotels with no luck and decided to accept the move to an upper floor. It was shocking to me when I made the request to be moved and in retaliation the rude front desk woman told me there are no rooms abd we know you made a report. Sounds like retaliation to me, but I offer to show her "the pets" but she refused se see them stating that they don't have bugs in the property. I check out and drove directly to the NYC Batavia, NY Health Department, whom are familiar with the property and asked to speak to an investigator, submitted the still alive bug as well as the pictures. Then I checked in the Batavia Downs Hotel, now that is a HOTEL!

We booked this hotel on our way to Niagara Falls and we enjoyed a very nice stay. The staff was excellent and should be commended on their service. The room was good and clean. I must mention that we stayed in the main portion of the hotel with the pool and they have an auxiliary hotel next door which has outside doors which I am not a fan of personally. The breakfast was excellent the staff in the breakfast are was excellent. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

We stayed here for one night while attending a concert in nearby Darien Lake. This BW looks to be recently renovated. Our room #110 was a king suite that was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool area was nice the pool & spa very clean. A hot breakfast with waffles, eggs, and sausage were a great way to start the day. Location was also a plus, close to shopping eating and approximately 20 minutes to Darien Lake amusement park and concert venue. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Booked 2 rooms for one night, not knowing they had a separate building which we were assigned. It was an old 1950's strip row of small rooms, not updated, horrible smelling -mold & mildew, and the bathroom smelled of urine. Stay was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent. It is a pet hotel, so there were a few hairs around but overall cleaner than expected. The room was a nice size and the bed was quite comfortable. If your looking for a good place to stay in Batavia, here it is.

We stayed the nights of July 3rd and July 4th 2018, at this hotel, and did the same last year. The pool lift chair for the disabled was not operating again for the second year in a row. During our stay this year, the desk clerk told me repeatedly that the pool lift chair needs a new battery but it hasn't arrived yet. Last year we were told it wasn't working because it needed a new part. This year, the manager emailed me after I filled out a survey and told me that the battery for the lift chair needs 24 hours to charge, and to let them know ahead of time the next time we book at their hotel (a totally different story from what the desk clerk said). July 4th has got to be one of their busiest times of the year, with Niagara Falls so close - between the fireworks and vacationers. I had booked these 2 nights on February 1st. It seems to me that when they know there are people who have requested a handicap accessible room that they can be sure the battery for the lift chair in the pool is charged ahead of time. The manager only offered an apology. It was heartbreaking to see my 22 year daughter with a disability not be able to swim while all the other young people in the pool were enjoying a refreshing swim. After having the same problem last year, it seems like just a bunch of excuses so they don't have to have it fixed and working.

We chose to stay here as it was close to the casino and we could do a leisurely drive to Arcade, New York for the Arcade & Attica Railroad ride. Hotel has an easy access to the Thru Way. Breakfast has both hot and cold items to enjoy. We found the cost of our stay was pricey. However the suite was nice in size, clean plus what one expects to have in a hotel now. E.g. Iron, ironing board, microwave, fridge and free internet. We did have two issues with our room. (1) A/C had a constant raddle to it. (2) Keyless room key worked for us several times. Had to report this problem area twice to the front desk. One clerk came to our room to make it work property. Another clerk had maintenance check out the battery to the lock system while w were out for the day on Saturday. It has a two storey hotel and across the parking lot a one storey hotel but smaller rooms which are not suites. Overall a satisfactory here but given an average rating because of the two maintenance matters noted in this review.

Very easy access off the highway. Stay here several times a year, spend one night each time. Always request 1st floor and all but once have gotten 1st floor. Very quiet and clean hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Always have been pleased with breakfast, Really have no complaints and will say here again.

A good place to stay but a little pricey for the services and the Area. Had a few issues the door locks not operating properly and some stains on the furniture and desk chair but for the most part the facility was good and clean... Breakfast was Waffles(Good) Eggs(Pass ) Breakfast sausage both days. There was also fruit and cold cereal ... Good Location, on and off of I90.. Staff was friendly and very helpful. A good family place if you can afford it.

When we called Best Western for our reservation, we were told only a suite was available. With the AAA discount, the price was okay but not reasonable. Check-in was a problem because we were told our credit card was declined. We tried two other cards- each declined. The manager finally decided there must be a problem with his system and he rebooted it and our card worked. I called our credit card company and was told there was no problem with our cards, thankfully! Our room was comfortable as was the bed. The breakfast offered egg patties and sausage, pancakes, envelopes of oatmeal with toppings, three dry cereals, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, pastries, bagels, and toast, beverages (but no hot chocolate). We will be completely amazed the day hotel coffee is good coffee. Here the coffee did not amaze us. The woman taking care of the breakfast area deserves recognition for keeping everything clean and freshly supplied. Overall this is a comfortable place to stay with some good dinner choices in the area.

Got to this hotel early in the afternoon but room was available. Since suite was only $5.more, we decided to take advantage of it. Very clean room and comfortable. Attendant was polite and helpful. She directed us for the evening dinner. Would come back.

If you're looking for a bargain at a decent location, this is your place. The price was really good. It looks like the interior was either new or recently redone. The bathroom was clean, but there wasn't much counter space. The beds were standard beds. The free breakfast was a bit light on choices, but fine for a quick meal. Overall, it was fine for a quick stay, but if you're staying longer and want a little nicer location, you may want to spend a little bit more. I did find that the AC/Heater was pretty loud, but I adjusted to it.

Stayed here for one night while in town for a family member's memorial service. We have zero complaints about this property. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the showers were hot, and the breakfast variety and freshness were amazing. I appreciated having hot coffee available 24 hrs in the common room off the lobby. Front desk staff were very friendly. Walls are thick, so we didn't hear a sound all night, although the noise of the room doors closing is kinda loud. Didn't use the pool area but saw several folks in there with kids. All around good experience and if we come to town again, we would stay here.

Arrived room 121 cob webs in light when you first walk in, a smokey scent in room where hallway smelled fresh. tv was nice sleep quality was ok lots of thruway big truck noise and it didn't help to have big rigs idling outside window. shower pressure was great nice and strong. heat in room was good kept is cozy. breakfast was normal fare, coffee was very good as well as the yogurt and orange juice.when I stay again I will ask for 2nd floor. noticed there wasn't a soda vending machine or I just didn't notice it.

This hotel has it all, great staff and friendly associates. The rooms are very neat and clean and the overall hotel itself I would rate 5 stars out of 5. I was truly satisfied with every aspect of my stay, from the room as well as the staff and the great breakfast. I truly recommend this hotel in Batavia, New York.

We stayed here New Year's Eve and enjoyed a clean, fun, and large king suite on the first floor. My grandkids used the indoor pool. It was clean and warm. They also enjoyed the hot tub. We have stayed here several times and have felt comfortable and safe. The hotel is reasonably priced. The service was friendly and efficient. There are many area restaurants within 3 miles Alex's, Applebee's, Denny's, McDonalds, Burger King, Settlers, sunny's, bob Evans and restaurants at batavia downs gaming. There is also a shuttle to the downs. You can also go to Palm island indoor waterpark around the corner. It is clean, safe and reasonable.

We were in town visiting family for the Christmas holiday. This was a great place to spend the night or so glad we did as we avoided the huge snowstorm that night driving home so glad we booked this hotel. It was great!

We come to this hotel every year after christmas. This year we stayed an extra day we were having such a nice time. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We enjoy the great breakfast and the hot tub, the special way we are treated like family and the wonderful rooms. It's the perfect after christmas relaxing and refreshing location.

It's always a great visit when we meet up at the Best Western in Batavia. They treat you like family here. Comfy beds, clean rooms and friendly staff. There is also a nice pool, hot tub and fitness center. It's nicely located near off of the thruway and near the casino and shopping center.

Everything was excellent. It appears that they must have had a recent remodel. Everyone was friendly. I always worry about the heating being too noisy but it was constant and not loud at all even though it was single digits outside and windy.

Price for area was very good shuttle a plus.One night stay hard to judge. But the arm rest of desk chair chewed and all dogs in hall was not my thing at least no fleas showing yet.Should tell you if pets are in the rooms you stay in to make it your choice to stay in. No smoking? but you have the chance to take bugs home.

Picked this hotel based on tripadvisor reviews. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Nice selection at the breakfast bar. Extremely friendly staff especially Sue at the front desk. Can't beat this hotel for the price. Highly recommended this place.

Nice clean room. Heater fan was a little to strong for my taste and no way to adjust it down more. Stairs were not cleaned but the room and breakfast area was clean. Would stay again because the price was affordable for this area.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, just what we needed after a long day of traveling. The location was great! Close to restaurants, gas stations, and even a few stores to do some shopping!! I would like to particularly point out that Sue, working at the front desk in the morning was awesome. We were have some mechanical problems with our truck and she went above and beyond to help us out. We really appreciated it!

Reasonably priced hotel. However, room wasn't overly clean and the duvet was between two sheets rather than in a cover. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom a bit dated. We found a few hair on the towels. Overall slightly disappointed despite the price.

Great hotel, no problems of any kind except vending machine not stocked but front desk clerk gave me two sodas she had on hand at no cost. No road noise good clean rooms. The room was modern and up to date with good fixtures

Four us stayed here on our way from Massachusetts to Niagara Falls. The hotel is very convenient to I-90. The hotel is clean and well kept. My relatives liked the pool and the Jacuzzi. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I found checking in and out to be a breeze, which was very nice. The room was extremly spacious and clean. The breakfast was standard hotel breakfast, which wasn't bad. The bed was a little soft for my taste, but other than that it was a great room!

We were checked into a older section of the motel across the parking lot of the newer section. We were on the ground floor because we had a dog with us. Parked right at the front door. Breakfast was good which had a nice breakfast room. The only issue is the Wi-Fi was spotty start up.

Clean room, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast. I traveled from Detroit to Oregon and California and then to Maine, and this was one of the cleanest hotels with one of the best breakfasts. I have stayed at very expensive and inexpensive hotels, and this hotel gives you an excellent value and no they are not paying me to say this.

good location. fair price clean rooms. not big on customer service. Breakfast is acceptable however its the same everyday. I stayed five nights and it was always sausage and eggs for the "hot" part of breakfast.

After checking out our Jacuzzi King Suite (ha), my wife notified the front desk clerk (she was the one and only person at the desk, no managers or anyone else on duty) of all the problems, she had no solutions only that she would note it down. When my wife spoke to the manager, Susan, the next morning she seemed unaware of the problems. Biggest one being the very dirty jacuzzi, the jet nozzles were filthy (who knows what would come out of them!), bathroom mirrors, tub, floors dirty, spots all over, couch dirty (would not want to sit on it), cracked tile & moldy looking grout around jacuzzi, bed headboard dirty & fingerprints all over, room had an odor when A/C off. This all ruined our night. Would never stay here again. Only good note that the Manager did give us a $25.00 credit for the jacuzzi (big deal), our night was already ruined. Breakfast wasn't very good either. Couldn't wait to leave.

Excellent Motel to stay in east of Buffalo. We enjoyed our stay at the Crown Inn and Suites very much. The desk clerk is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good and the easy access to the Interstate a plus. We enjoy the restaurants in the community particularly Alex's Place. You will enjoy your stay here too.

My family and I have stayed at this location a few times now as a pit stop when traveling to Massachusetts. It's always reliable! Clean, sufficient, and always a decent price. The staff is always so nice and great! Always a nice stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great, including Gluten Free Cereal. However, "IF" you require GF, be sure to "ask" the breakfast attendant, as there are no indications that this is available, unless you ask. We would definitely return.

We come out this way alot .Nice hotel good breakfast.Pool and hot tub great .One towel for seven people.I let the front desk know me and my son had to share the last towel and there were still people in there.I was told if they need towels they will ask...... really?I try to be helpful but I seemed more concerned about people dripping all over the hotel than she did.Also my wife called to have them check the TV and no one ever came.She figured out it was just unplugged but still.The breakfast was delicious and the lady watching over the buffet kept everything cleaned and well stocked.Room was clean beds nice and comfy.A/C had annoying shut off feature had to keep restarting it. Overall not bad need more towels for pool area also earlier pool hours would be nice 6or7 in the am so I can grab a swim before breakfast.

A clean and pleasant motel. It had been recently renovated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. Overall I would highly recomend a stay. It is located close to the freeway exit so is converiient.

If you are traveling on the turnpike this is so convenient yet within easy driving distance of eating establishments. Traffic noise was NOT an issue for us, friendly staff too.While we stayed in the annex we still felt as close to the breakfast room as if we had stayed in the main building.

Tv was not repaired during our stay. Reception girl was not cordial per other stays. Chemical smell in room was really bad. Did not realize how bad until moving in and settling down. Wife could detect underlying cigarette smoke smell.

Excellent place for us to stop on our many trips from Pittsburgh to The Mohawk Valley. Great people, clean rooms, comfy beds. Hot tub and pool are a plus. Batavia Downs within a mile and shopping centers also.

Hotel was very nice and newly renovated throughout. Very clean with good lighting in the rooms. Hotel was full, but was very quiet. All Staff very polite & helpful. Nice restaurants in the area.They have discounts including military.Nice indoor pool & excellent fitness center.

My children and I are very happy to lodged in this hotel (Best Western Crown Inn and suites at Batavia. It is perfect for our summer vacation, the hotel is family friendly plus it is conveniently located around a shopping mall which is a walking distance to the hotel.

Over priced for area. Windows in rooms and hotel were very dirty. Couldn't see out of them. Edge of tile in bathroom were dirty. As if they only mopped the center of the room. Service is ok and room is clean.

Good value Hotel. My room must have been recently renovated. It was nice and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and the a/c wasn't too noisy for a window unit. There were also "motel" type units across the parking lot. Not sure about how they are.

Stayed for the night without a reservation and they were very accommodating with extra pillows and offering different group discounts. Kids loved the pool except my sons eyes were very irritated by the chlorine in the pool. breakfast was typical for this type of hotel, which is great for the kids. But the eating area was kind of small.

The cleaning solution at this hotel smells like a combination of dirty water, mildew, and industrial acid lemon cleaner. Stepping into our humid room literally took my breath away. We opened the windows & cranked the AC full blast while we went out to dinner for 2 hours and it was still super strong. We checked out the other two rooms for people we were traveling with and while they had the same smell, ours was 3 times worse. The sheets on our beds were soft and had been slept in, while the sheets in the other two rooms were crisp and freshly washed. When I went out to the front desk to ask the check in person about switching rooms because of the smell, she told me the cleaners had just left and that it was probably just the cleaning products. She did not let us swap to another room even though I asked about the possibility of doing so. I know the hotel had available rooms because someone came in right after me to check in without a reservation. The smell lingers and I can still pick it up on my suitcase a week later. Don't stay here.

The hotel is nice, Maids do a good job, breakfast was ok, but the management is not very friendly. Breakfast was ok, some of the hot food items were not too hot. The indoor pool area needed more ventilation, thr chlorine smell is overwhelming.

Rooms were so clean. They were spotless. The front desk receptionist Sarah was very inviting . No matter how busy she was or how many times she was interrupted she stayed polite. Even the housekeeper was a doll and super helpful. I could not ask for anything better after such a horrible, disgusting experience down the block at the Days inn with the worst front desk person DEE . Thank you again for the delightful experience so far !!

Poor quality rooms for the price. Maintenance not kept up with. Seemed like nothing in the room worked right. The floor was soaked by the air conditioner, the tv had one channel, the toilet seat nearly fell off, the locks were loose on the door and rattling and the water pressure was awful. Last time we stay there.

We had great stay hotel. We did enjoy pool and spa. Comfortable rooms with fridge and microwave available in rooms. Staff did great job to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We do recommend this place.

my room had a king size bed that was comfortable. the room was clean well kept. the exterior was being renovated but was not a problem. the breakfast was very good. there was a good variety and well supplied. the front desk person was very friendly and helpful.

This was the first night on a journey to celebrate my wife's 70th. The room was terrible. There was a smell in the room and the bathroom was dirty. We were greeted by a spider in the vanity bowl when we arrived. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and was very disappointed as a Best Western Rewards Member.

Front desk person was kind and informative. Exterior renovation did not interfere with check in. Parking was ok. Quality of the breakfast was very good. Loby area was a bit small. I did not go to the pool.

This is a newly renovated Hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions. The breakfast has a great variety of food options with waffles, eggs, sausage, variety of bagels, breads, muffins, cinnamon rolls. Plenty of juice, cereal and other breakfast options. The room was clean and comfortable. Indoor pool and spa was refreshing. I would recommend this Hotel to other's and will definitely stay again.

The room was fine, overall. Smaller than other BW that I frequent but it served its overnight purpose. The two things that BW has going for them are the comfy beds and the decent breakfast. Also, this BW was very conveniently located right off the Thruway...easy off, easy on and only about 20 minutes away from actual destination of Darien Lake.

More like a motel and not at all like other Best Western we've stayed at. This place needs deep cleaning in room, and hallway. There were dead spiders and cobwebs in the hallway windows. The parking lot had garbage everywhere. Would not recommend.

Everything was actually really good except the musty smell in the room, bathroom and coming from the airconditioner. They also had workmen working carelessly on the entrance when we got there. That being said the room was excellent for the price and the staff were friendly and nobody complained that we were up until 2am playing.

Overall very pleased! Close to Interstate and Buffalo NY. Not much to do in town -very small but quaint. Served it's purpose though for a 2 night stay! Had a nice pool and hot tub and breakfast was good. I originally had a Motel 6 and closer to the city but I always found the Best Westerns a decent deal and better amenities!

My biggest complaints were the 7:30 AM construction work being done right outside my window. Also, the lack of a positive response to my concern from the front desk. Other than those things, it was a usual BW.

The hotel itself was fine; the guest rooms had a modern feel with lots of lighting and outlets for cell phones, tablets and laptops. Plus we use a C-PAP machine and found it easy to have a plug-in. We stayed on the Saturday night before the 4th, so it was full, busy and overpriced. Check-in lady was very kind and helpful. The breakfast the next morning was a definite disappointment. One waffle machine which had a line of 10-15 minutes because the people who were using it were making waffles for several people (family members etc.) causing a long line. Plus this blocked part of the area where the other food items. The room did not have enough seating, the food area and tables were messy and sticky, and the food service was slow at keeping the food replenished. People were standing behind chairs in hopes of getting a place to sit and eat. This area was cramped and noisy. We should have gone to eat somewhere else.

*IF* you choose to stay here, make absolutely certain that your reservation is set for the building on the property with the lobby / pool inside. DO NOT STAY IN THE OTHER BUILDING. It is a dank smelly *motel* that does not live up to the Best Western brand name. In response to previous reviews (some going back to 2014) management refers to the building as undergoing renovation. Three years later and the second building is still untouched, broken locks, construction debris in the parking lot, dank small smelly rooms. The front desk could not move me to the 'new building' - aside from that, their service was exemplary. I do not blame them for the property mess, annoying that they charge the same high price for the room regardless...

Pillow could be better. They were square didn't work well. Property was very nice and newly remodeled. Did not hear traffic noise from highway. Felt that building was built well because did not hear other guest

Get better morning staff who are friendly and like their job at least. I wasn't greeted, spoken to, waved at, asked how my stay was I had to address them an tell them I'm checking out and in return I got a ok.. that is not good customer service. Morning staff was too busy talking about another coworker who didn't show up to work!!

Overall the hotel is very good, clean rooms, nutritious breakfast, good internet. The mattress in our room had to be propped up as it was noticeably lower on the head end, but otherwise, very clean room, bathroom and good air conditioning unit and tv.

Everyone on here says that the hotel was newly renovated, but I didn't see it. Maybe a new lamp and blankets? The bathroom/room was dated and felt dirty. Lighting was dim and dark. There weren't any USB plugs for gadgets and the plugs that were in the room were loose in that the plugs kept falling out and wouldn't stay plugged in. There was a lot of smoking going on around the outside of the hotel (rooms were non-smoking and didn't smell like smoke), but it made it hard to enjoy being outdoors. The breakfast was included, but the area was messy and seating was limited. We had booked the hotel through a third party website, so when we arrived there was no record of our reservation. Thankfully I had my confirmation, but I was happy that the man at the front desk was helpful and tried his best to accommodate us. This stay really turned me off to Best Western hotels.

we were looking for a place to stop at on our way home. have stayed at quite a few best western hotels and had pretty good luck. after arriving, the first thing we did was to check out the bathroom. much to our dismay out room had mold on the walls and ceiling. it was pretty obvious and the bathroom had a moldy smell to it. for the life of me I don't know why people install wallpaper over the bathtub/shower. it is almost a guaranteed way of creating this problem. also don't know why I hadn't been taken care of.

Everything in this hotel was great. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. What I did not really like was the dated bathtub. It looked dingy. But overall great hotel. Decor and room setup good.

Dog friendly, recent remodel is much better, not fancy, but very clean, new, small indoor pool, plenty of parking! Breakfast is the same everywhere in every hotel. I'm sure it's fine for most guests, but as I travel extensively for business, the food choices are so-so. But I surely understand having to feed the "masses" with consistent meals. That's no big deal, it is the way of the world now!

We stay at this hotel apprx every other month. We have special accomadations and the staff here always go out of their way to help us. Our rooms are always very clean. Breakfasts are good, better than just the cold bagels and cereal you can get other places. And being right off the highway makes it even better when you've been driving for 8 hours and just want to sleep!!

Customer Service was excellent- check in was quick and easy, even though we had no reservations. The hotel is just off of the New York State thruway and several malls and eateries are located within a mile of the facility.The room was very clean and spacious. The room included a sitting area with a sofa. Furnishings appeared to be relatively new. The complimentary breakfast was very good. I always tip the wait staff who are assigned to the breakfast venues and encourage more people to do so.

we had an awesome stay, the staff went the extra mile to help make our stay pleasant. I was very happy with the breakfast since I have dietary issues. I found a variety of foods that I could eat. We used the pool to relax, the hotel was located close to our event. and close to the shopping centres.

My husband, son, and I stopped here on the way home from Massachusetts to Ohio. It was super easy to get to from I-90 and reasonably priced. The room was large and clean and just perfect for a quick overnight stay. Free continental breakfast and a pool for the kiddos. The only thing I didn't like..and only bc I'm picky...was the old school air/Heat system. The blower system. Those tend to make my mouth dry all night. We will definitely be staying again though!

Very happy with our stay for 1 night. Staff was efficient and friendly. Fresh remote. Away from loud road noises. Hot breakfast as best as can be had - except we like stronger coffee. Highly recommend this location.

This hotel is situated close to the highway and is very comfortable. Attendants were polite and helpful. We were advised that Wifi would be out for an hour as they were working to improve the speed. One hour later, we had wifi and it was very fast. We would come back any time

We had great stay at this hotel room was recenlty renovated and clean. our room was equip with mini fridge and microwave. all the staff member were friendly. we enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning. we will be staying again.

This hotel is always excellent. We loved our room, the breakfast and the staff is outstanding. It seems like every time we visit they are improving something. They have re carpeted the floors and retiled the bathrooms The paint in the rooms always looks fresh. We feel we get our money's worth.

My wife and I stayed here on March 15/17, reluctantantly I might add. We were enroute to NYC but got weigh laid by the the Great N'Oreaster of 2017. The temperature outside was -17C and the temperature in the room was not far off the mark. The heating in the room did not work, so we switched rooms to find the heating there was not up to par either. I don't think the temperature reached 15C during our entire stay. The rooms were dated and had seen better days. The pool was closed for renovations as was the fitness room. The lobby reeked of diesel fumes and pool reno chemicals. Our bathroom was clean however, our shower could not be used as a bath as the water diverter, for lack of a better term, was rusted shut. I hope the problems that we had were just a confluence of things going wrong on a particularly nasty day.

The hotel is near the highway just past the toll gate. There is a gas station nearby. Limited dining options around but you can ask for delivery or drive to the main street. The room was clean and spacious. The hallways are lighted well. Buffet Breakfast was alright. The dining area was clean. There is a swimming pool in the hotel.

The hotel rooms are nice. some of the staff is nice, some not so much. Needed to check out my school work and grades. But it's 6:03PM and some kids under the age of 10 have been on the computer since noon, so I've been unable to and it's really aggravating.

Very convenient stop on our way back west. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was predictably BW and was hot and fresh. No problems. Not sure where it came from, but there were kids running around on the floor above us, but we were on the second floor of a two floor hotel???? Would stay again if it fits our schedule.

The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed here for 1 night. The hotel staff was very nice. There was a Free breakfast offered however, we did not take advantage of it. The breakfast area looked clean and comfortable. We would stay there again when traveling.

We were given a room that smelled terrible. They gave us another room that smelled just as bad. The smell was so bad that we could not stay there. We were charged for the stay even though we did not stay there.

Whenever we travel, the first hotel chain we consider is a Best Western. This trip did not disappoint. We spent 14 nights in a hotel, 10 were in Best Westerns and all of them were very nice with pleasant staff and really good breakfasts.

The hotel manager and receptionist were rude. Our sheets had blood stains on them and when I informed this to the manager, he rationalized that I should be ok with it as that part of the sheet is usually no where near the face!!! He offered to take $50 off provided I don't post an honest review and warn other travelers. There are so many things wrong with this logic, I don't even know where to begin. The pictures should provide a sense of how well maintained the room was or the lack of. Additionally, while we were there, there were other people waiting in line after us to complain; so we weren't the only ones have concerns with the rooms or the management. Never going back here again.

This hotel is very out of date and appears not to have very much pride of ownership.There is no elevator to the second floor, and a dangerous step entering the stairway. It is not up to the standard I expect from best western.

Room was clean with all in good order. Heat system worked good. Excellent breakfast selection with plenty of choices of both hot and cold items. The price was reasonable with available discounts that apply. Also, the location is most convenient and near Thruway exit.

Our husbands were on a guys trip so one of my closest friends and I took our daughters, both were heading to college as freshman in a few weeks, shopping in Buffalo and decided last minute to stay at a hotel with a pool/hot tub in Batavia as a last "hoorah". After searching on line while at dinner, we found the Best Western. We called the hotel and after confirming the pool and hot tub were in working we booked the room - which was fairly easy, We arrived and got checked in and into our room at 945p. The pool & hot tub closed at 10. That was really the whole purpose of us staying at a hotel that was approx 30 miles from home. Thankfully, our room was literally the door next to the pool so we got in there very quickly. When the clerk came in to close it down at 10pm, she did give us a few extra minutes. The lobby was clean, the room was clean and smelled fresh (not perfume fresh, just fresh), the breakfast worked for everyone. Bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, waffles, eggs...juice, coffee, milk. The beds very comfortable. We did NOT have a mini fridge in our room but it would have been helpful for our left overs. There was a small fitness center and "office" area with a computer for guest use. We did not use either. We stayed in the hotel part that had the lobby and pool housed in it-maybe considered the "new" part?. I would stay here again if there was a need to so close to home.

i stayed at the days inn in Batavia, it was so dirty, they had nothing to offer the customer, i asked for conditioner the staff said we dont give out conditioner, they had some young boy there running around in is pjs , i asked him for some decaffeinated tea, he goes we dont have it, ill look but we dont have it, he looked, in his pjs on his phone all the time, the front clerk was very nice she found me some, I think he was just to lazy to look, I immediately told my sister, we are going to Best Western

This hotel has lot to offer like free breakfast and indoor pool and spa was very good. Room was large and clean equipped with fridge and microwave. Staff was very friendly. I do recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area. Easy access from thur way.

We were so excited to get a 2nd visit to BW Batavia NY in less than 1 month :) The price was awesome but on calling I was told the 99 dollars was just for a basic room BUT Sandra gave us a suite at no extra charge :) Wonderful - except we stayed in the same room a month ago and found the bathtub back then to have grime/scum all around tub-- I took photos - but let it go--- fast forward to yesterday = I had made scratch marks with my fingernails on my previous trip- and they were still there!! Plus the bathtub it self had black mold under the rim and more scum around the tub-- also the sofa was so dusty and you can visibly see the dust--- I am mortified as I used to be a house keeper and this type of cleaning is not acceptable-- the man who checked us in was rude-- and when found we had a suite for lower price would not let us apply our AARP card to it- saying we got enough of a deal already :( We would stay again but not in that room :) On check out we were asked - "All set" I could not even talk --

Nice hotel, clean. Nice pool and spa. Chose this hotel at the last minute and were very pleased. Check in and check out very quick. Our room was spacious, much more so than I had anticipated. Lots of towels although the pool area had none when we arrived in the morning shortly after it opened. The issue was quickly remedied.

Best Western as a chain is spotty--from excellent (Sidney, NE) to... well, ghastly. This was a one-night stay, and the place was clean and the staff laconic but helpful, But the room was small, cramped, included a free fly, and smelled of smoke--though the place is smoke-free, you can't get rid of that old smell. The tub was about two feet long and the water trickled out of the faucet so slowly it took forever to fill. When we turned on the air conditioner, another smell emerged--damp and mildew-redolent--that convinced us both we were being poisoned. We opened the window to the sound of the New York Turnpike. (If you want convenient access you've got it; just walk up the knoll and get hit by a semi.) Avoid if possible if aesthetics factor into your choice at all.

We visited for our golf weekend, the rooms were dated. The beds were comfortable and they provided plenty of pillows. The pool and spa area seemed very nice. Breakfast was good with a decent variety on foods. The only complaint about the spa and breakfast was that it was not in the same building.

Booked this hotel for one night on a road trip from Michigan to Massachusetts. The price was reasonable. The hotel was clean. But it is very old and dated. Some effort should be made to spruce this place up as there are many other hotels to choose from.

We stayed here one night on our way to our lake destination in Canada. The room was fine and beds were comfortable and room was quiet. Pool is small but the kids had fun anyhow. Breakfast was usual fare with make your own waffles. I do wish for better variety of fruit at these breakfasts, but most places have the same thing! I watned to give a shout out to the staff, which was very nice to us. My six year old daughter left her bedtime stuffed animal in the sheets and we left the hotel without it and discovered the missing animal the next night camping (with no cell coverage!). We called the next week (we had no cell in Canada on our old phones as they switched to GSM) and at first was told that there it was not found, but then got a call back (they took my number and description to check with cleaning staff) and discovered it had been saved for us for a week! I mailed them a SASE and the beloved pet was received today! My daughter and the entire family are very grateful that they save "loveys" that inadvertently get left behind. Thank you!

Had a suite because only rooms available. Thought it was expensive. Elevator was shaky so took the stairs instead. Breakfast had a lot to desire with limited choices. Room was clean and quiet. Convenient right off the highway so it was easy to continue our trip the next day.

The hotel was expensive and dirty. The sheets and towels looked gray. The bathtub had a layer of dirt on it. Who knows when was the last time they washed it. Th refrigerator had layers of dirt on the door and inside. I will not go there again.

The exterior of the second building is a bit off as compared to the main. The bed, pillows, bathroom, carpets, and others are excellent. We had a wonderful sleep. The room was very clean. The surroundings were quiet. Cheers to the hotel management. Breakfast was great. Room attendant was caring, polite, humble, efficient and friendly the same as the front desk staff.

The room, apparently part of an annex, had loud air conditioning, thin walls, bad lighting and a broken desk chair. Bathroom lighting was dark because there was only one fluorescent bulb in the overhead fixture. We heard voices and a dog through the wall. Wi-fi did not work inside the room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was pretty good. This property urgently needs repair and upgrades. We would not stay there again.

The place seemed clean. Breakfast was adequate and decent. The pool was good. My complaint was that we wanted a snack. The Snack machine was broke, so what's new? My real problem is when I ask the receptionist if they had another vending machine she replies with, 'you can drive to Walmart'. Its 9:40pm and I don't want to drive around at night. Come on people, it is a simple fix. You don't tell your guests to go drive around d at night. I can imagine what Anthony/Hotel Impossible would say if he heard those words being said to a guest. Unacceptable. Not a big issue to have no snack, the attitude I received IS a big deal.

stayed for one night, the room was clean, comfortable bed, staff are friendly and helpful. Good selection for breakfast as well. For the price we paid is was reasonable and would stay here again if back in the area.

Unfortunately, I found this Best Western to be in need of some tender loving care. The grounds were shabby with trash around the grounds. The room was small (also shabby) for the price with some shower issues. It was definately not worth the price.

we went to a concert at Darien Lake and rather than drive home at one am stayed at the best western in Batavia The rooms were clean and spacious and reasonably priced We were glad we stayed and had a nice breakfast in the morning Darien Lake was one of the most disorganized places anywhere the food was terrible and the wine and beer was outrageously overpriced We will never go back

All and all this is great place to stay in Batavia. The rooms were clean and comfortable. wi-fi was very good. Hot breakfast in the morning was very good lots of item to choose from. All staff was very friendly. I always enjoy a hot tub at this hotel.

This hotel was in a good location for Batavia and was clean but we thought it overpriced for what it was. Also, the air conditioner was unreliable and very loud. I was expecting something better for the price.

The room,was clean,beds comfy,spacious,nice indoor pool, however the hottub was only warm not hot.Management was notified but this hottub was not fixed. The breakfast was also mediocre.This an average motel with no standout features

My husband, son and I took a spontaneous trip to western NY with no reservations and through Trip Advisor found this very reasonable motel.. Asked for a room near the pool and receptionist was able to meet our request, even gave suggestions for restaurants!!!

My family and I stayed at this hotel for one night only After visiting Niagara Falls. Check-in was a breeze as well as the check out. The room was clean, quiet and had what we needed to recuperate after a long drive. We also liked the breakfast. I will consider staying in this hotel again in the future.

This was the closest hotel to Letchworth State Park which I was visiting. A 40 minute ride from the park and the only Best Western in the area. I stay at Best Western's whenever I travel an this one had just finished up renovating the carpets in the halls/rooms. Their air conditioning in the lobby and halls was not working but the rooms had AC. Not alot around there to do and only 1 restaurant worth going to which was Alex's place that everyone went to....Decent food

This was the closest BW to Letchworth State Park which is where I was going and that was at least a 40 minute ride.

We stayed here in past we always had a good time at this hotel. Rooms are newly renovated. They also did nice job about side of building. Our king suites had fridge and microwave which is plus point for us. Breakfast had plenty of choices to eat from. I highly would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through this area.

Best Western I am becoming less and less enchanted by your privately owned 'franchise' hotels. This one is a perfect example of very old and now newly renovated in a cheap, slapdash attempt. The new carpeting was so swirly it caused vertigo; the olive green and gold interior of our room was so retro we wondered who in the world was their decorating go-to person? The whole operation seems to be running on a shoestring; in the morning, there was a little rock stuck into the back door to keep it open--not cool at all. The breakfast was disgustingly typical prepackaged fare save some bananas and apples. No one at the front desk...you get the picture. That said, the room was clean, the night was quiet, and the restaurant down the road Alex's did good curbside take-out. We think the $100 average charge for this room is way overpriced.

When we arrived here I was shocked that the photos of this hotel are completely different from the actual hotel (except for the rooms and pool area which looked about the same to me). I feel deceived, and said so in the Best Western survey I filled out. Not ethical at all. The manager then emailed me about how they are renovating, It is still very unfair to the customer to show a different hotel outside, lobby and breakfast area - an updated and renovated version, which then they are expecting to have! Also, no mini-fridge in the room, which was a disappointment. Customer service was fine, and they had the rollaway bed in our room as we had requested, when we arrived, which I appreciated.

Right off of I90 and easy to reach. Good breakfast included. Some rooms are pull up motel style. New carpet. Unusually warm hallways and breakfast area. My room AC kept shutting off in the night and the room was very warm, I dialed the setting back to warm/cool and that seemed to fix it but could only keep the room at about 73ish. Great over all stay.

This hotel is easy on/off. Convenient to the Post Office, restaurants, and gas stations which were all things I needed to find. Noise was not an issue. They were installing new carpets in the hallways, so the smell was a little strong. Room was comfortable with two queen beds. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Pool and hot tub much appreciated. A good choice for us.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. The room was clean although the rug was worn in a few spots. It wasn't a large room but we just used it to sleep and shower as we were visiting with family and also took a day trip into Canada to see the falls. Breakfast was pretty good, there were plenty of options for everyone. The pool didn't look too clean so we didn't use it. Overall it was a decent hotel and we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

The hotel appears to be undergoing renovations which will most likely bring it up to the standard we have come to expect from Best Western. Carpets were little stained in room but have been told they are all being replaced as well as furniture and all rooms will have microwaves and fridges. Pool and spa were fine. Didn't use fitness room. Breakfast was good...hot items as well as the usual continental food. Staff were pleasant. Would go back again next year when all the work has been done on it.

The room was very clean and spacious, the staff was friendly. It was a nice visit overall. The hotel itself is close to just about everything you'd want to do in Batavia. If we ever come through the area again, we'll definitely stay here!

This hotel is situated literally beside I-90. Convenient off and on point. Located in a rural area. Noise was not much of an issue with A/C running. Very clean room with comfortable bed. If you are looking for a good restaurant for dinner, go to Alex's Place.

A very good value for the money. We chose a room that had it's own hot tub and it worked well. I would stay there again. Breakfast was very good too. It was close to town as well so it was only a short drive to restaurants.

We were there with family the Memorial Day weekend. Excellent hotel, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast also was very good, scrambled eggs, sausage,and the usual bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal, juices, coffee, etc. Lady at desk let us use the breakfast room for a family lunch on Sunday. We could see the thruway from our room, but heard nothing. Air conditioner was very quiet, seemed very new. Queen beds were very comfortable. One comment on bathroom. The paper holder was on opposite wall from toilet, a long reach. Children would not be able to reach. Also the counter in bathroom was a little small. Many hotels have larger ones. But the comfort and cleanliness is much more important. That is why I rated the Best Western a "5". Excellent stay. Also has an excellent indoor pool and hot tub. The kids loved that. I almost forgot about the pool. Another reason for a "5"!

Had the benefit of small(ish) town features and prices with good proximity to nearby Buffalo-Niagara attractions! Our target was Fort Niagara and the Canadian side of the falls, and we were approaching from eastern upstate NY. So this was our obvious choice, especially since we wanted to see the rural communities around Lockport, NY on our way to the fort. Comfortable rooms and a great breakfast made the visit an excellent experience!

Front desk clerk was very nice. The room however, it is not very clean . stains on the carpeting, it doesn't look like it's been vacuumed very well, there's stains on the things they throw across the bedding ,There's a bug on the other bed.The mirror is dirty. Drive by this one.

We stayed here on memorial weekend and we had great time at this hotel. Our kids enjoyed pool. Room was also kept very clean I would recommend this place to my friends. All staff members are very helpful and friendly. Very easy excess from thruway.

The room smelled so we opened the window. Since there was no screen, we ended up having flies and mosquitos. We needed the air conditioner on to cool the room but it was so loud, we didn't sleep well. One bed was very uncomfortable, making a cracking sound when my husband got it or out of bed. All in all- a bad night. And this is my first bad review for Trip Advisor, so you must know that I was really frustrated!

Room was furnished with old worn carpet and furniture .Bathroom was dirty and had mildew in several places and dirty shower curtain. Light in bathroom did not always work and phone in room would not connect to front desk. Toaster did not work at breakfast bar and room was too small for all the guests to eat. Our room was next to parking lot and it was very noisy.

We are passing through on our way to Boston. Friendly staff helped us find what channel the Raptors /Cleveland game was on before we even booked. Clean, great room, super value with very comfy beds. To top it off there's a pool and hot tub! Regular hotel breakfast, with gluten free options.

It was clean front desk friendly and very helpful. We stopped in late and they were glad that they could help out. The pool and fitness area was still open if we were interested. We ordered out the came right to the room in a timely manner.

We had a King bedroom with pullout couch room. Breakfast included was better than expected, plenty of options. Wifi was ok. Rooms were clean and newly updated. Mini bar with fridge and microwave in room was an added bonus. Pool with jacuzzi and fitness room seemed to get good use by guests in the hotel. It was a pleasant stay with courteous staff. The walls in the place are kind of thin. You can hear conversations in the hallways and adjoining rooms. Overall B stay. I wouldn't have chosen any other place in the area, I feel we made the best decision staying here at this location.

We checked into this hotel at 9 pm after a 4 hour drive. Our room was disgusting. The sheets were not clean. There was an old chicken bone on the floor. We were all exhausted so we just decided to go to bed and to deal with it in the morning. When my husband approached the front desk about the chicken bone they were Initially apologetic and agreed to give us a $40 room credit for our next nights stay. Sunday morning game and when he again approached the front desk they were completely rude and accused him of leaving the chicken bone on the floor! Our $40 credit turned into a $15 credit and when my husband question the accusation the front desk staff said" we don't know kind of people you are. How do we know your family didn't have chicken and leave that bone on the floor?" The pool and hot tub were also disgusting. There was a slim on the pool area floor and both the pool and hot tub had sand in the pool. I have stayed in best westerns all over the country and never had such a poor experience. We will be back to Batavia yearly for a high school rodeo event and will be telling all of the other families that travel this way not to stay in this place. I Wish I had taken pictures of our room at check in, but I never thought I would need proof.

We take several trips a yr. from Pittsburgh Pa to Mohawk NY to visit family and old friends. This is the halfway point for us. Have been stopping here for yrs. Very nice renovated rooms,. Indoor pool, hot tub and fittness center. Wonderful employees that treat us like family. Close to good restaurants,casino , racetrack, and shopping centers. 3 minutes off interstate 90. The people who help run this Best Western are the Best in any New York Hotel I have ever stayed in.They go above and beyond to help you .Nice clean rooms,great prices and terrific breakfast.Located just a few minutes from interstate 90 Best deal in Batavia.The King suite is worth the few more dollars.

I was on my way back to Ohio from New Hampshire when I decided to take my chances on this Best Western hotel. Since I travel frequently for work, I have experienced other Best Western's that were truly horrible. This one, however, had been recently remodeled, the fitness room was all in good working order and it was quiet. Prior to my arrival, I called to make sure I would have a refrigerator in my room. When I checked in and there was no refrigerator the desk clerk upgraded me to a suite with no extra charge which was very kind of him. My suite was clean and it was wonderful to have a mini kitchen and extra room to move about after a long drive. The only drawback for me was that after two weeks of travel there was no guest laundry, but other than that my stay was much better as compared to other Best Western's in the country!

I've stayed at some truly awful Best Westerns in the past year. This one in Batavia, NY would be a good model for the ones that are struggling. Overall very clean, well appointed and decorated, comfortable beds and pillows all make for a pleasant nights stay. The breakfast bar is not only well stocked but clean and modern. Pool and exercise room are small, jacuzzi is out of order and apparently has been for a long time. Although the sheets and pillows were clean, the comforters had some staining. Staff is efficient but not terribly friendly to guests. Overall probably your best bet in Batavia for a decent night sleep in a clean room!

We stayed overnight on a two-day drive to Michigan. I was carrying a very valuable antique canoe on my truck. When I mentioned that to the woman at the desk, she asked me to bring my truck to a parking spot right in front of her window so she could keep an eye on it. 8Our room was clean, the mattress was comfortable and our stay was very pleasant. I'd gladly stay there again on a future trip.

Enjoyed my stay at the western very affordable and comfortable just need a place to crash for the night. Definitely recommend to others and will consider staying again if I need another hotel in the future.

The rooms were very nice. We had 2 of the king size suits. They had a separate sitting area and kitchenette. On of the rooms had a pull out couch that wasn't working properly. The pool area was nice but it could have been warmer on the windy winter day we were there. Plus the hot tub area was roped off. So we didn't get to enjoy that at all.

It felt like home. My stay was lengthy and I never felt more comfortable. Even though it was my first time there I wasn't lost. The most helpful, informative, kind, staff. Everyone there was helpful but I have to say Ms. Sue and Ms. Bea those two ladies were the BEST!!!! The locations is perfect close to all major stores and freeway it was so convenient. The rooms were clean, the breakfast were on time and good.

This Best Western is everything one might expect: the room (bedding and bath) was clean and orderly, the hotel is quiet overnight, the front desk is courteous and helpful. Breakfast features scrambled eggs, sausages, yogurt, and the typical budget breakfast foods. WiFi worked well, too.

We enjoyed a nice overnight at the Crown Inn & Suites in Batavia, NY recently. The motel is very conveniently located off the NY Thruway (I-90), near the Veteran's Hospital and still closes to downtown. The staff is friendly and courteous, motel amenities are good, the internet is fast and reliable and the rooms are comfy

The Best Western in Batavia, NY is very convenient for travelers driving I-90. We've stayed at this hotel every year for the past 12 years and will continue to do so each time we travel from Rhode Island to the Cleveland area.

We liked the room size and layout, especially the window seat. Beds were comfortable. But the room could have been cleaner, the desk chair was dusty and had food crumbs. More detail could have been taken on the bathroom as well. The breakfast was ok, not the worse I have had and not the best either. Hot tub and ice machine were out of order, that was very disappointing. Overall not a bad stay.

Active renovations going on up and down the hallway from my room. My room renovations had not been started/completed. Room pictures did not match advertised pictures. I booked the room through an app which did not have the best prices available. I found, after the fact, that I could have booked for $15 less if I had booked directly with Best Western.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Batavia Best Western. The hotel was in a very convenient location for the places we wanted to visit and the staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was fresh, and well presented and the room was very comfortable. We would stay here again if we were to visit the area.

We have stayed at Best Western Hotel for 3 times this year. We have noticed that Best Western has been in the process of updating the rooms, lobby and breakfast room. Breakfast items are plentiful. Staff replaces items fairly regularly. Room is pretty clean and the shower is great. Very pleasant staff. We would stay at this hotel again.

This hotel needs a serious updating. The room size and layout was very nice, but the eye appeal was not there. Also, the noise from the outside was louder than I am used to in a hotel and the walls were thin, could hear the TVs in the rooms on either side of us. If they updated the rooms, I would probably stay here again.

All services provided were at the good level. Location was good to access Rochester NY and Buffalo NY, right near Interstate 90. Quick check-in and check-out. I recommend this hotel to people, who is looking for good service and reasonable money.

Compared to other Best Western hotels, this facility appeared run down and worn out. The room was poorly cleaned and not very comfortable. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. Mold was growing around the bathtub. Fortunately we were only passing through and not spending more than one night.

Dropped in en route along the 90 from Buffalo. Warm welcome from the receptionist and a comfortable room available at a good price. Receptionist also recommended somewhere to eat (Alex's Place) Hadn't realised it was so close to the busy road but it didn't bother us too much during the night. Breakfast was limited but ok.

This Best Western is right off the 90 East and is in walking distance to the Batavia Downs Race track Casino. Clean Room, Great Staff & Heated indoor pool! It also has a nice "Free" breakfast, With Good Home -style food right around the corner!!! Geo. E.

Nice clean room. Fair price. stayed in suite over the noisy dining room/TV area . Why would there be a suite over a noisy dining/TV area. Staff never even looks up unless you are checking in or out. If you bring luggage be prepared to carry it. There is only one cart and no one will help locate where it may be.

We had great time at this hotel. Hotel Location is very easy to find close to to everything that we needed. This hotel offer free hot breakfast that was very good lots of item to choose from. Room size are pretty big and they were good and clean..

Beds were very comfy. "Hot" Breakfast was reconstituted powdered egg product.....not very good. I do not care for the texture of powdered eggs and definitely do not like to have water squishing out of my eggs Room cleanliness just OK. All hotel carpets were extremely dirty and stained. The A/C in our room was quite noisy. This hotel was in a good location for traveling on the turnpike.......I would plan on getting breakfast somewhere else

This is the 2nd stay at this hotel. The rooms and the internet are ok if you are in the main building but not in the annex. Last time the internet did not work - this time the TV did not work and no one was at the desk to check out. This will likely be our last try here even though it is very convenient.

Hotel was clean, everyone was friendly and all you can ask for on trip. you can book this property with confidence. The location has a lot to offer with easy access to shopping, food and entertainment of all ages.

Main building would probably have been tolerable. Annex was substandard. No covered walkway to breakfast at main building. No elevator in annex. Since reservations had been made four months prior for four rooms, felt we should have been placed in newer main building.

We stayed in the newly remodeled outside/inside building and were VERY pleased. The room was very spacious for our family of four (two teenage sons). For the rate we paid and the size of room we had, we will definitely stay here again. We didn't eat the breakfast at the hotel since we met up with local family at Miss Batavia for breakfast. We were a little nervous staying at another Best Western after a bad experience outside of Buffalo the two nights prior, but were very relieved to find a totally different and better hotel for our last night in the area.
