Best Western Plus Yakima Hotel

As we drove through the area, we were abit freaked out with our reservation…a lot of homeless people! But the hotel staff assured us they have someone watching the parking area 24 hours a day…and there were Mercedes and even a Denali parked in the lot. The place was clean as a whistle, quiet, fantastic breakfast … and very well priced. Just great!

Our band and cheer teams stayed at this very nice hotel. They charged us $1105 in fees inspite of our group checking out at 11am as previously agreed upon. Hotel staff terminated communication prior to resolution being found. Very unfortunate that we will no longer be able to stay at this very nice location.

First, the pros: clean room, decent breakfast, quality sundries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion), and cookies in the evening! The biggest issue we had with this hotel was that it runs out of hot water and the shower heads and water pressure are terrible. Don't expect to be able to take a hot shower here. A lukewarm shower? Sure. However, depending on the number of other guests and when everyone is showering, there's no guarantee that you'll have hot water for your shower. In addition, there is no soundproofing so you will hear everything happening in the rooms around you and in the hall - people walking around (sounds like stomping), faucets running, toilets flushing, everything! Our last disappointment was the mattress which was springy, noisy, and not at all comfortable. The mattress springs would creak whenever we turned over. Thankfully, we only stayed here for two nights, but at $215/night (including taxes) one should be able to expect hot water at least. The fact is, this hotel feels very cheap. We usually stay in 3 star hotels (Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, Oxford Inn and Suites) when we travel and we were expecting the same level of accommodation, but this BW is more like a 2 star hotel. Chances are, you could find a nicer, maybe newer hotel for the same amount, or maybe less. If you do choose to stay here, just set your expectations really low.

Staff unprofessional, rude, and lazy. Pool area dirty, hottub jets not working and paint peeling from bottom of pool and hottub. I didn't use either assuming if they can't maintain the paint they likely aren't maintaining the chemicals or testing the water regularly.

I had a decent night at the hotel in Yakima. A good night's sleep and an early breakfast was exactly what I needed for my long journey. I would definitely recommend the Best Western Plus to anyone - a certain value.

The room was good as expected. The breakfast was very good with bacon, eggs, waffles, etc. The noise from above was a bit much (heavy feet) but acceptable. I used BW reward points for this stay and was not acknowledges for that and the desk clerk wanted to charge me $4 extra for something.

We checked in and got to the room to find it smelling like a over crowded dog kennel. they did move us to another room but them there is the hassle of finding another rooom and then moving everything to it. Plus then you need to move the car to be closer to the entry/exit for when you check out.

We decided to reserve this room because of a past experience that was good. We didn't realize there would be a large group of young children staying in the hotel. The parents did not require their children to clean up after themselves and they left garbage all over the hotel and pool area and used wet towels all around the pool deck. The staff was very attentive to our concerns however.

I travel for a living and typically am pretty loyal to my high end chains and boutique hotels. The high end Maison Hilton was booked and I was so stressed. It's a gamble sometimes in a small town seeing a best western because many are or have been motels. Though the building looks dated, it's actually quite sweet. Very nostalgic and almost snow cabin feeling: I booked it here because I really wanted to enjoy an end of summer last hurrah outdoor pool moment. I was so delighted with my stay. The staff was friendly. The pool area was very clean and large. The sunset was lovely. My room was enormous and felt right at home. I almost walked right by the continental breakfast, not sure how decent it would be but I'm so glad I stopped. This was the best hotel breakfast I've had all year, the staff was sweet and the decor/ambiance was so cute! 10/10 would come back

I called to get a room for my mentally unstable brother within minutes of booking. Found that he was not going to be able to be there. Was unable to get anyone to help me with a refund or a credit. I have called and emailed several times.

We stayed here with our baseball team for a weekend tournament. The staff was very helpful, pleasant and welcoming. We were able to grab a quick breakfast each morning before heading out. The location is close enough to anything you may need.

This hotel is a nice place to stay the night it had probably the best sound dampening of any hotel i've ever been to unless someone was literally on the other side of my door i couldn't hear them and I've been to a lot of hotels for work usually if people are not quiet you can hear the people in the rooms next to you muffled but you can hear them. Got a good pool & hot tub, decent fitness center, nice selection for Breakfast including something you usually don't see biscuits & gravy, as well as cookies in the lobby later in the day.

Malfunctioning locks (had to move to four rooms until the door worked!)Heavy cigarette smell in my non smoking room. Terrible breakfast. No hot water. Staff totally disinterested. Unsafe neighborhood. Shabby hotel. I checked out early and found a clean, well appointed hotel with excellent staff for less money. Do not stay at the Worst Western in Yakima!

I do not have long hair but the bathtub had several Long black hairs in the tub. No one ever asks if everything is ok. Room's definitely need a update. Someone had went thru the trash and had it dumped on the ground directly in front of the lobby. Best western needs to be checking on their hotels.

This is our third time staying at this Best Western. We have family in the area and have stayed here while visiting. It's been a really nice place to stay each time. Clean and quite rooms. Nice staff that is very helpful. Also, a good breakfast in the morning that's included with the room. Definitely would recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Extremely pleasant experience. Clean room and premises and friendly front desk staff. We were very comfortable and would return again on next visit to Yakima. High value for dollar. Easy access off and on to I85. Downtown and good food options are close.

They charged me $54.10 for a toilet seat that broke when I was using the toilet normally. It's a toilet seat and easily and cheaply replaceable for a reason. Hundreds of people from all kinds of weight have sat on it before and it happened to break when I was using it. To be clear I am talking about JUST the wooden/plastic toilets seat - the ones you can buy from Home Depot for $20 to replace when they break. NOT the whole porcelain toilet bowl itself. What's next - If the toilets or faucet starts leaking water do they charge next person for repairs because they wore out the seals? Place is also bad part of town looking back at mobile/trailer/permanent RV parking lot. Stay away.

I've often found the Best Western Plus hotels to be a solid and affordable choice when road tripping, and this location was no exception. It was one of the least expensive places I stayed this summer, but it didn't feel like a bargain-basement choice at all. The property is just off the freeway and near a state highway too (I came into town from the Mount Rainier side) and thus easy to find. The room was neat and clean, with all of the usual amenities. There was a full breakfast available. The staff were friendly and courteous; they allowed me to hang out in the comfortable lobby for a while after check out as I waited on a lunch engagement I had in town. Although mostly a positive experience, I can think of two cons. First, there were not many restaurant options within walking distance. I was forced to jump in my car to find dinner. Second, the side of the hotel I was on faced an RV park, which wasn't very scenic. I kept the blinds closed. Still, this is a good option in Yakima.

It is a nice hotel overall and breakfast offers a variety of food. However, the internet did not work while I was there, which was a real bummer because I had some work I needed to finish. Also, the toilet in my room smelled like a septic tank, but when I notified the front desk associate, she poured some bleach into it which helped a little. For the price I paid, I feel like the internet should have worked at least.

Thank you Best Western. Any place that I go, I have always been greeted with a friendly face, and helpful staff. After being on the road, a friendly face is all you need. I have not been disappointed.

I loved this hotel and the people. Guests next to us were raucous and we told the desk the next day. That was a problem but not hotel's fault. We loved the cleanliness and the breakfast. Thank you! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel has nice clean rooms and a great lobby. Would definately stay here again. The Staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was perfect. Located across the street from the Harley Dealership

We arrived to the property to find that when they book the hotel out they have no hot water to service all the rooms. The hot tub was broken at the time as well, which was a main factor to me booking this hotel. Could have saved 60.00 staying somewhere else and had a hot tub and hot water.

First off when we pulled into the parking lot and stepped out it smelled like a pot shop. Then we had to wait 15 minutes to be checked in. Then we get to the room which, we had to get to by using the one small elevator they had, we inspected it and noticed white stuff on the side of the night stand (You can probably assume what it was). Overall dirty and overpriced and not worth the stay.

Very helpful staff, and a well-maintained travel hotel. The mattresses were particularly good - most travel hotels (even Best Westerns) usually have overly soft, sagging mattresses - but our room had firm mattresses in good condition

No hot water, no manager ever called us back. We were there to attend a sports tournament. 2 days of no showers, no help, not sure how they washed their hands to prepare breakfast, they promised discounts, did not follow through. Dirty rooms for some of our guests, worst fitness room. Won't ever stay there again.

I found that the property was using a door wedge on the fire door that should protect people by automatically swinging shut if the fire alarm goes off. This keeps people from coming down the elevator and having the door open to flame. Also found the elevator license out of date, and the elevator making a lot of noise. The coffee and waffles in dining were both stale coffee unpalatable and waffle mix tasted of old oils - I suspect they have not pulled expired food from the pantry over the course of the pandemic. Staff all very kind. Most of what I found is a property management issue.

They Overbooked and left me and my family to figure it out. We booked for 2 nights and the next morning they knocked on our door saying we have to check out!! Jacuzzi was broken, cost was to much for the quality of the hotel. I will say the staff were great except for the Supervisor who was very disrespectful! If they hire a different supervisor I'm sure it can be better. Don't stay here unless you have too! I wouldn't pay more than $90/night for a hotel like this.

Fair price, great staff, better than average breakfast - and hot cookies. What could be better - a hot shower. I'd have rated this hotel with 5 stars but the morning shower was just tolerable, not even comfortable.

The pass was unexpectedly closed, so we booked the room here last minute. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The staff were friendly; the room was clean overall a great value. I would recommend this a hotel

I recently became a best western rewards member and stayed at the Yakima location for the first time got a business trip. I was greeted by the most fantastic customer service representative I've ever encountered while traveling. He was friendly, polite, funny, and was alr to answer all my questions as well as point me in the direction of all the amenities I was looking for while traveling here. It's very rare I encounter an employee that has the ability to change my day and make me say I will always stay with this hotel in the future but he did just that. My company & myself will be coming back to this hotel to give our business. The hotel was very clean, had amazing breakfast, and overall every staff I came across was representing the hotel in a 5 star way. Nathan & Daniella at the front desk were fantastic and I can say I'd the reason I will now be making BW in Yakima my permanent stop when traveling for work or leisure. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for work or just needing a place to stay while visiting this small town. I look forward to coming back and receiving the same level of customer service as I was awarded during my short stay.

Contractors beware there is no security at all and nothing to protect your vehicles. Cameras don't work on outside. Staff and inside hotel are good. But owner doesn't do anything to protect your vehicles in this area. People broke into our work vehicle for copper. To sale for drugs so sad.

Short staffing led to waiting 3 hours to get into our room. Only 2 towels per hotel room and no pool towels. No hot water for showers in the morning. Staff was trying, but it's hard to manage a group of restless and weary travelers that can't get into their rooms. The room was clean and the breakfast was good- not a sack breakfast like a lot of hotels since Covid. Overall a very frustrating stay.

There was no hot water the friday evening when we got to the hotel. I had asked for a ground floor when I made the reservation and when i got there they said there were no ground floor rooms available. They put us on the 3rd floor, when we complained about no hot water, they said they called a maintenance person to come look at it. Then when we complained about bad water pressure, they said oh, your on the 3rd floor, like it was to be expected!! Don't have a 3rd floor if you can't provide the same basic services. Also, when we looked out or window we looking at a broken down RV campground. With broken RV's and old cars and trucks, campers,etc. You can't see this from the road, its hidden. I would not stay at this Best Western location again. Maybe try Union Gap Best Western..

Told that the pets would be 30 dollars more. When received the bill it was 30.00 each. Wow that is ridiculously expensive. The pool was so full on Saturday that is was unusable and never changed into the evening. I liked the breakfast but my wife couldn't find much to eat.

This location is a class act, fast check in, modern rooms, very clean, great spa and breakfast! I have never had a problem with the WiFi. The pillows and mattresses are excellent, great water pressure and the water is hot! Easy access to Yakima or the Freeway

Make sure to check your room for cleanliness...many things missed when we arrived. Area is bad, so make sure to remove all valuables from your car and try to park in front of the building. Lots of homeless in this area roaming around at night just a few buildings away.

We found the linen on both beds had not been changed. It took the front desk an hour and a half to come to the room and change the linen. There obviously was not enough employees to do the job correctly in the first place and in good time the next. This is not the first time we have had problems with this hotel change. It does not seem to be only Yakima that has problems.

We stayed for one night passing through town and enjoyed the comfy beds, extremely friendly service, clean pool, and convenient location close to the highway. Definitely not in the best part of town, but we felt safe.

Our room smelled horrible. They would only allow us one washcloth and 2 towels even though we checked in as a family of 4. No towels at the pool. We had a pull out bed and they said they didn't have any extra blankets or pillows for us to use!!!!

I love the location of this hotel and the property was in very good shape. Bed was comfortable, large refrigerator, good TV channel selection, and lots of room. I often travel with my dog, a 65 lb labradoodle. The charge here was $30, but the pet area was about 3' x 6' of gravel. Not usable for my pet and almost no way to take him for a walk. Good value for the non pet traveler.

The service and hospitality was wonderful, loved the pool and hot tub being open 24 hours. Breafast was really good aside from the grease the sausages sat in the serving tray. only drawback is the mobile camp trailer park behind the motel for occasional increased noise level.

I came to visit a friend. Found this hotel; the stay was amazing. Most comfortable beds. Pool was 24 hours, breakfast was available in the am. The front desk staff was so very kind. I will be staying here again.

Spontaneous stop in our way from Seattle to Boise. Excellent service, regular breakfast in operation and indoor pool and spa! Super clean and super comfortable for a family of 4. Light sleeper and still slept great as one of our party members had a sofa bed all to himself. Super pleased with price and quality of hotel.

Decent place but we're very disappointed in the supposed COVID protocols. *No one,* staff or guests, is wearing a mask in public areas. It's not clear at all that they are doing anything in particular regarding COVID safety. It's very unnerving. So disappointed.

We stopped in last minute. Check-in was a breeze. We got a great room (103). Great access to pool, fitness room, cafeteria, and side exit. The staff were great! The breakfast offerings were really awesome too. Would most definitely stay here again.

I had a very satisfying stay. I work construction and it is nice to come back to your hotel room knowing the AC is working and the refrigerator is in good order. Especially important when the the temps soar into the upper 90's like last week. The staff was on the ball in getting me situated when I had to add a 3rd night stay. Good job

When we recieved the room we thought that the room would be cleaned to the CDC Standard or some thing close. This was not the case the room although apeared to be clean was truely a nightmare waiting to unfold. Half of our group arrived on the first night and all seemed well when I amnd my son arrived the same was not true. I expected a bit of a mess due to the do not desturb sign on the door but what we found when it was time to make up the couch was another story. The fould out bed was a gross mess of blood stains and food crumbs. something I can not understand. Better yet when was the last time house keeping unfolded the beds? I we called down to the front desk and they asked if a couple of bankets and sheets would make it better, I said no? then they said the hotel is pretty full but we will look to see if there is another room. It took two follow up phone calls and an hour for them to move us into a bigger room that was clean. You would think this is a no brainer, move the guest to a clean room fast. Alt this went on and the hotel staff seemed veru putout that they had to move us.

The place was VERY clean and comfortable.....it took a bit to get us checked in, but the staff made up for it in their friendliness. The breakfast was awesome taken care of by Connie, Breakfast Ambassador.....super clean, huge variety, and Connie made the day with her friendly personality!!! Will definitely be back!!

Stayed for 5 nights. The room is a typical hotel room. No surprises there, EXCEPT it smelled extremely strong, as if they were trying to cover up another rancid smell. The location was also poor. In the north part of town it was surrounded by transients staring at the street talking to nobody. I saw a hand-to-hand drug deal just a block to the south, and it backs up to a trailer park. Maybe just my luck, but this also happened to be where some outlaw motorcycle gang members were meeting up.

Great rooms, excellent staff and clean!! Have stayed here twice before!!.. recommend highly if you are staying in yakima.. great breakfast included also..swimming pool and hot tub were very enjoyable.

Stayed here as the property is newer and carries the Best Western name. Had my dog with me. Hotel has no grass or dog walking area, there is a strip of grass a block south or a field across the street. Both spots are walked constantly by crack heads. Really scary at night. Left my CPAP behind after leaving, site called me and said they had it so I said I would swing by either Sunday Night or Monday morning. I stopped by Sunday night to pick it up and the staff said it was locked in a managers office. I asked if the manager was in town and they said yes, I asked they have her come by and unlock the office so I could keep my schedule for Monday. They said that couldn't happen she was busy. Who doesn't have access to a lost and found at a hotel. This made me have to stay in Yakima again when I really didn't need to, cost me another hotel night I didn't need and just ruined what was other wise a good trip. Get a Lost and Found policy !!! Picked it up Monday morning, Manager didn't bring it out to me, she left that to one of her girls. On a good note pool and hot tub worked and were clean and very nice.

Great staff. I have stayed here a couple different times. Matt gave great recommendations on a place to eat. Other young man (new hire) was very nice & helpful. I haven't had a bad experience staying there. I do plan on coming back in the near future. Keep up the great work and thank you the very nice staff.

Good staff clean rooms not being in a room next to the early (2am) risers in the RV park is a must when staying here. If you can find a room in the front you will have a much better stay. No diesel powered vehicles being fired up 20 ft. away and the inevitable fumes is the make or break on this very nicely ran and appointed hotel. If not for the neighbors I would say this one of the top 3 BW's in the inland NW.

Affordable, very clean , very comfortable beds. Big room and great friendly staff! I had my dog, my dog loved the dog pup area outside. Staying in the first floor made a breeze to have my dog around! Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE staying at the Best Western Plus on First in Yakima Washington. They are practically perfect in taking care of everything I could possibly need or use. My family enjoys staying there when we have appointments or running to do that I prefer staying in town for. Thank you Best Western Plus for the wonderful welcoming home away from home ❤ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

No complaints. Hot breakfast served for eating back in your room. Affordable price. Clean and convenient from the highway. I appreciated the auto door! Check-in and checkout simple. I really liked the emailed receipt too.

I booked this room for less than $60 per night. Easy to find, but in a not-so-great location. There are many homeless people walking around this street. Actually, there are a lot of homeless people in Yakima. We didn't have any problems. I wouldn't recommend walking anywhere from the hotel. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. Free water was offered at check-in along with a restaurant list. The elevator needs to get maintenance though. It felt like it dropped a little every time we got to our floor. The room was big, but the bathroom was small. The room we had (304) had 2 queen beds, a sofa, that may or may not have been able to turn into another bed, a table with chair, and 2 benches. It was nice to have a place to sit other than the beds. The sink was in the main room and the tub/shower and the toilet in the bathroom. The water temps were installed backward so hot was cold and cold was hot. The water pressure could have been better. Many of the outlets didn't work either. All of the ones in the sink area and one of the bed lamps didn't work. The room was warm. It did have an AC but didn't work that great. Didn't cool down the room until almost morning and it was super noisy. The fan had a high pitch whining sound all night. The pool and hot tub area were small, but since they only let one room in at time it was nice to have the place to ourselves. The breakfast was what you would expect. I didn't like the eggs, but the waffles were good. It would have been nice to have a tray to take the food back to the room though. We had to balance the food boxes and a couple of times, the conidments would fall off. Overall, I would stay here again for the cheap price.

If it weren't for all of the COVID restrictions, and being Halloween weekend, my stay at this motel would have been one of the best stays over the 30 day trip with my dog. The staff were all helpful and pleasant and my room was very clean and had everything the dog and I needed, but not being able dish up my own breakfast and sit at a table to eat was weird. And there were people hanging around in the parking lot most of the night. That made me nervous.

The room was clean and seemed to do well in keeping noise out. I did not hear doors shutting all night or any of the traffic outside. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The hot breakfast was a typical Best Western hot breakfast... It works. The only bad thing of the stay was the hot tub was down.

We had a great stay at the BW Yakima! The staff was ALWAYS friendly, helpful, and courteous. They had a great sign up for the pool, which we used twice, and our in-room continental breakfast was great. They followed COVID safety protocols and all staff wore masks and acted professionally. They also went above and beyond calling me after we checked out when the housekeeping staff found my son's favorite stuffed animal we left behind! They held it at the desk for me and allowed my sister to pick it up for me after we left town. Great service- thank you! ❤️

I have been BnB'ing for years, renting full houses for multi-family trips. The cost is higher and the amenities (while looking good on the surface) are nearly always in disrepair (probably because guests don't report when they break things). We stayed here with a smaller group and it was a major relief to once again stay in a place where everything worked as expected. There was breakfast and pool/hot tub available, and the other guests/staff were courteous. I was glad they had in-room heating/fan/cooling as well as optional black-out curtains and contemporary fixtures.

Very clean Hotel staff was amazing good breakfast rooms are extremely nice sized and very clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and very friendly always smiling and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again

Good choice for staying in Yakima. Just a quick one night stop but this place checked most of the boxes. The pool and hot tub was open. Small and a little dingy but it worked. Breakfast was pretty good, where there was an attendant to serve you due to covid restrictions. Rooms are okay. Not a fan of the bathroom counter outside of the bathroom but it's ok for a night.

Nice hotel. We had the suite. It's huge. 2 Bedrooms, a dining area. Great for the dog too. Full kitchen. Plenty of space and privacy. Tv in every room. Well worth the extra money. Close to the highway so easy access to 82

We appreciated that they had the full breakfast--someone served what we requested, including juice drinks and waffles Clean room. The hot tub was very nice. (sadly it broke while we there, and because of the weekend, they did not get it fixed before we left.)

King-bed room was large and had a small seating area for a reasonable price. Good breakfast choices provided despite COVID restrictions. There was no seating for breakfast; requested choices provided by staff for take-out to room. Pool open but not hot tub.

I thought it was a good place to stay and would again. The only downside was the foldout bed used by my grandson. The mattress is unacceptable. I'm only glad I didn't have to sleep on it or my review would be a lot worse.

Came up from Oregon to visit and were too tired to drive home. Glad we found this Best Western to spend the night. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was wonderful for my husband, who's back was sore when we got here. Even with covid19 restrictions, the free breakfast was very good. Served in a togo box, and took it back to our room to eat. Next time we're in this area, we will be glad to stop and sleep.

Everything was great! The customer service was so helpful and the hotel was spotless! Thank you for having the pool open and available for use, we had so much fun. Gotta love the to-go breakfast, great idea.

I travel for work & this is one of the nicest hotels that I've stayed at AND they have a great breakfast! We will definitely stay here in the future. There are some colorful characters in the neighborhood, but no problems.

Great hotel amazing rooms and the staff impeccable. These rooms were absolutely amazing as you can tell by the pictures but the cleanliness of these rooms was outstanding. I would recommend this hotel to the president of the United States I mean really that from the towels to the couches and everywhere in between I mean the linen is fluffy a big thread count just they expired no expense just a beautiful beautiful Room for a normal hotel price.

I in joyed my stay there but I think they're should do a little bit better on the walk in shower floor because when you take a shower the water hits the shower curtain and goes on the floor. But they also need some work on the elevator at well

We came to town hoping to see some Snow but unfortunately there was none the hotel was wonderful there was some issues with the water temp but breakfast was wonderful very clean hotel elizabeth who checked us in was very friendly and had every answer to our questions she said she has only been there for a couple months couldn't believe it .will be coming back

Service staff, room comfort and size, breakfast were great. Check was easy, beds were comfortable, it was clean and offering of a beverage for the road was a nice touch. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable, L and M

We stayed in Yakima this time on our return trip from the southwest. I had booked the hotel online, not knowing what to expect and not knowing the area. I think next time we would stay in center town as it may offer some interesting places to walk. For us, this was not memorable in any way except for the good night's sleep. The view from our window was of a mobile home park, which while not the best of scenery, was exceptionally quiet. We were surprised to hear that there was a HS basketball tournament on and that many people were staying at the hotel because we certainly didn't hear them. The breakfast was good with vegan options. If all you want is a good night's sleep, this is the hotel for you. If you want to be in a historic area or looking for interesting scenery or restaurants within walking distance, then probably somewhere closer to town would be your choice.

Hotel keeps improving. Neighborhood not so much. Too bad! They are trying their best. The Staff is courteous and very helpful. Beds are comfortable. Good luck taking a shower, seems to be low pressure and low heat at most times of the day whether morning or afternoon.

Beyond the normal "this is a great place, great people" we experienced something unexpected. We couldn't stay for breakfast the day we checked out. We were offered a "Breakfast-to-Go". Eggs, fresh fruit, canned fruit, bagel, creme cheese, granola bar, PLUS 2 drinks. (I know I'm forgetting something.) We each got one of these!! WOW Also, nice place, great people. If you are in town...stay here.

The suite has separate bedrooms so the kids can sleep in their own rooms. We also requested two pack and plays for babies which were not only in the room when we checked in, but already set up! Jesse was wonderful checking us in and Peter and Elizabeth ran a tight ship in the breakfast bar, keeping everything stocked and clean. Thank you!

We recently stayed a few days and loved our experience! Front desk clerk Rebecca checked us in. Very professional! We loved the cookies and daily hospitality Juice of the day! Rooms were clean so comfortable! We were able to bring our four legged family members. Loved the pet area but It would have been perfect if they just fenced in a small section. Other than that amazing Hotel! Highly recommend! And all other employees were all so sweet and professional . Thank you thank you!

Our family stayed at the Best Western Yakima over the weekend and we had a pleasant stay. It's close proximity to everything. Kids were able to play in the pool. Nice workout facility. Variety of selections in the breakfast area. Peter at the hotel was very helpful and accomodating. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

Despite hosting hundreds from the WMEA competition, the staff was on top of things and kept everyone happy. In the morning, Connie and Peter were able to keep the breakfast clean and replenished despite a huge rush of students and parents needing to move through. They were very efficient integral in making the morning a success.

I am falling in love with Best West Plus. Been here 2 weeks and 1 night going on 2 for work. Working on the Lince Elementary Remodel and being away from home for more than like 4-5 days at one time is unheard of. Well here we are and the past time spent rooming and boarding here has been exceptional. Thank ypu to the Lovely and Hard-working Staff here. From the Housekeepers, to the Friendliest Front Desk Staff, back to Breakfast Bar, and all the way back to all to the Brains of the Operation Ms. Sarah Purdy....This Hotel has got it. Peter, Ana, and Diana I believ from the Housekeep corner have just kept me feeling at home by keeping my bed made and my bath tub spotless. And of course the remainder of my mess they've upkept. The Ladies in Breakfast Bar stay with Hot, Fresh, and tastly delicous breakfast. We ALL KNOW how important the Meal of Breakfast is. And last BUT NOT least...Front Desk; Raquel and Elizabeth are PHENOMENAL.... I have to at this moment however single out Liz.... She is there at ANY Guests becking call. One night I came down for cookies and juice not knowing they were tossed out at 9pm. I came down and said, "Aw man No cookies???!!!" Because I am thee Cookie Monster. Elizabeth/Liz came right out to say, "I can make you cookies what kind would you like?" Thee other moment that stood out for me waas when I'd booked a room I'd asked for but after entering had a change of heart. Well when calling to see may I switch rooms, Elizabeth told me to come to the front desk so she could take care of me. After arriving at the front desk she aske dme several questions trying to find out what I was looking for. Once she knew that she put me into the room I have now stayed in twice. Next week if my company sends me back out here I will again request that room and do hope to see Liz. Thank you Ms. Purdy and the B-Dub+ Staff.

The front desk attendant (Elizabeth) was very nice and communicated with us and made us all feel very comfortable. I also know for a fact that anyone and everyone that comes here to Yakima and spends their visit here will have an amazing experience.

Glad we stayed at here. Really kind staff - front desk, cleaning folks, etc. It makes a difference. Special shout out to Connie, the breakfast coordinator. She was super nice and hosted a yummy breakfast! Eggs, bacon, pancakes and yogurt. The kids ate some of everything!

I'm so glad I found this hotel in Yakima! I've stayed at several hotels in the area and have spent more $$ for a much worse experience. I had my best stay ever, in this area here at the B. W. Yakima! Thank you making my trip so Much more enjoyable! Even our awesome breakfast Host - Peter - went out of his way to greet every guest who came in to eat! ;o)

Clean rooms, reasonable pricing, great breakfast, easy access off freeway, friendly staff especially the young lady that checked us in and Peter in the breakfast buffet. Not sure what else to say except I would recommend this hotel to friends and will stay there again. And again, great service from the check in staff and Peter in the breakfast buffet room. Maybe a small issue that you could hear the shower in the room next to us.

Staff was extremely friendly especially at check in. Made me feel very welcome. Hotel clean and room was comfortable. Breakfast was better than a lot of other places. Cookies in the evening were a nice plus.

I brought a group of 90 college students through Yakima recently, all of whom got up and ate breakfast at the same time in order to get on the road. I was really impressed with how calmly and successfully Connie and Peter handled the rush and kept the various food items stocked. That's not easy, with no warning!

Great breakfast, chocolate chip cookies evenings, very accommodating when we arrived a bit early and great that they allow dogs. Long pool hours for our daughter to enjoy. I wish they had some grass somewhere for the dog.

The check in clerk was super nice and friendly/helpful. I appreciated the breakfast offerings. I really liked the lobby decor, and my room was spotless and large (and quiet). I liked the white linens on the bed, too.

Front desk people were great. Efficient and friendly. Peter at breakfast was great also. 24hr swimming pool is a great idea. Exercise room is ample. Don't want t o miss a day of some sort of workout. A short but pleasant stay for us.

Comfortable room with all basic requirements. Room is clean & neat. Friendly staff and good break fast. Room size is small and just adequate. We had a road facing room in the third floor and we enjoyed our stay.

Can't go wrong with a Best Western Plus. This one in Yakima was no exception. Very clean and nice. Nice room with a king size bed and pull out couch. Enjoyed the pool and the evening cookies. Great price and value!!

Great service, nice clean quiet rooms. Beast Westerns have really come a long way since I first started staying with them in the '80's. I like staying at Best Westerns because they have more locations in remote areas and I like to use my reward points when i travel on vacation.

This hotel went way above our expectations! It was beautifully decorated, clean, very spacious, and they pay close attention to details...especially for breakfast. There were so many yummy and healthy food options. Peter, the breakfast staff kept that place clean and well stocked. We even saw him wiping down the chair and table legs! The other hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The exercise room had a variety of equipment, along with filtered water refill for our water bottles and complimentary granola bars. This is going to be our go-to hotel when we come back to Yakima.

Was very good, have stayed here before and they were good then as well. Have an elevator, carts, several plug in areas (for business I travel with lots of electronics). Easy to find right off freeway and near many restaurants/shopping areas.

My wife and I are staying here about once or twice a month for business. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great with a good selection of hot and cold items. The cookies are a delight as well as the free refreashments when we check in. We could use the pool and hot tub this trip. The hot jets felt great on my hurting nexk. We will be back next month. Connie and Peter put on a fabulous breakfast. Andrea at the front desk was very hospitable. We also enjoyed the 24 hour pool and hot tub very much. Located conveniently to mall and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We, a family of 3, stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was good, as expected at a Best Western. The front desk staff was friendly. They serve hot cookies at 4 pm that our kid loved. In terms of making the stay more comfortable, the bathroom is a little small with a toilet and shower while the sink is outside the bathroom. The mattress wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked. The hotel has good access to the freeway and lot os restaurants near by. Overall, a comfortable stay.

We stayed in the 2 bed suite. It was perfect and spacious for our family. Everyone felt well rested in the morning as we didn't have to be crammed into a small room. We enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning, and the kids loved the heated indoor pool. The hotel was very clean and front desk staff was very welcoming.

My coworkers and i stayed here from 25Oct19 until 22Nov19 for a work trip. During our stay we maintained random work hours and shifts. The staff was very flexible when it came to supplying breakfast at earlier times so that we may get something to eat before we left for the day and if they were unable to provide hot breakfast they had prepared togo bags for us that had everything we needed to get a good start to our morning. Connie, the breakfast ambassador was a delight every morning. Her always smiling face was nice to see first thing in the morning and her flexibility in schedule ti provide us unmatched services were greatly appreciated. We will ne traveling back to the area again in a few months and definately will be staying again!! Thank you to all of the staff for accommodating us in such a pleasant and professional way. SEE YOU AGAIN SOON!!

I would avoid this hotel. The rooms are not cleaned well. The is a strange odor when you turn on the heaters. There are not a lot of staff on hand to help if you have an issue. It's a disappointing place. I would avoid this hotel. The rooms are not cleaned well.

Thoroughly enjoy my stay at the Best Western. Room was always cleaned and the Continental Breakfast was superb. Connie was extremely cordial and pleasant as she ensured the breakfast bar was properly stocked. I will stay here again when traveling to Yakima.

Staying here for work. Connie at breakfast is always there with a smile and good, hot food. Plenty of eggs, sausage, gravy and all the fixins. Never runs out of anything. Great way to start the day when it really cold out there....

Connie was courteous,present and available. The dining room ambassador(s) has developed and effectively executed a wonderful breakfast that will please any pallet. There were multiple choices, condiments to personal taste and/or dietary needs. The facility was clean, well lit and comfortable.

Our travel lacrosse team stayed at this location during a lacrosse tournament. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and they went out of their way to start breakfast 1/2 hour early for us so that we could leave early for the morning games. Rooms were clean and spacious. Fridge was larger than typical hotel fridge, and microwave was very useful for us. Pool was a big hit as well.

Friendly and responsive staff, clean and well-maintained facility. This hotel has one of the best free breakfast I've encountered in all my recent travels. Highly recommended. Hotel appears to be new or recently remodeled; directly across from the interstate on and off-ramps is convenient also.

I was working in Yakima for 2 days and made reservations for the Best Western Plus. I hadn't stayed there in a long time and was pleasantly surprised at all the "home touches" that I experienced. The room was immaculately clean, generous towels and friendly staff. I had to leave before the breakfast time after the first night and Connie let me take some fruit, coffee and Yogurt on my way out. Coming back after a grueling day, I found my room cleaned just like it was my first night. I travel a lot, so usually things tend to slide the second day...not here! I will definitely stay here again when I'm working in the area!

I wish my room would if been ready on time but it was okay. The room was very clean. We didn't get to use the facility like we would of like but it was not bad. The breakfast was alright wish there was more options for vegans.

We were just passing through this area and needed a place for one night.check in was easy and when I asked about walking to a place to eat the employee said it is not pedestrian friendly.When we drove to restaurant I could see why. There are a lot of homeless people on the street near by and no way to avoid them if you are walking.I know the hotel can't change it's location but I think this is worth mentioning for those in the area. The room was nice and clean and breakfast was a little better than most.Staff was friendly, it worked out ok for a night's stay.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful - they even had delicious cookies while we waited our turn to check in. Especially appreciated: the pool and hot tub/jacuzzi were the exact right temperature for us!

Clean with cookies for kids and a great hot breakfast. Staff felt well trained and unusually thoughtful. Daughter especially loved the option of Nutella with her Belgian waffles. Bacon was curly and crisp.

Our stay was very pleasant. The facility was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed to get ready for our grandmother's memorial. We enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi, ate breakfast, relaxed with afternoon cookies, slept in comfortable beds and enjoyed being able to see our car out our window on the 3rd floor. The food is very good, and the service at breakfast is excellent! The room is clean and staff are nice at front desk. The eat area is clean and everything is in order. Also it is quite without noise. Only it feels unsafe as there are a lot of homeless people near the hotel, so did not take a walk.

This hotel is roughly 5 minutes from either Carlon Park or Kiwanis and Gateway Complex. They serve a fantastic full breakfast which allows for busy athletes to protein up and hit the road. Indoor pool for fun team bonding and very clean! Couldn't ask for more while on the road with our ballers.

Was a great stay we went to go to the Fair and out Hotel was close to the fair . Our room was really clean and Quiet except for my Dog hasn't stayed away from home before he didn't like it and barked alot. Workers were very nice.

The breakfast is the best I've had at a hotel. The breakfast room attendant was attentive and friendly she kept the room spotless and it had an welcoming atmosphere . I was so impressed with best western plus that I signed up for their rewards program and promptly made a reservation for my next business trip in a different state with another best western plus.

We had a nice room on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was great & a really good selection. Connie was so nice in the breakfast room & gave us bottles of water for the road. She was so nice to the guests & kept the breakfast area well supplied. Rebecca G. Was at the reservation desk when we arrived & checked out. She made us feel welcome & was so friendly. We really enjoyed the cookies with our coffee in the afternoon, a nice touch.

We loved our room!! It was room 312 and it was great. The only "bad" part was being interrupted with carpet cleaning, which denied us housekeeping services on that Monday. Other than that, we really hated to see our visit come to an end. Definitely will return to that Best Western! Very easy to find! Connie, the breakfast lady, was fantastic! I had never seen a breakfast area as clean as she kept it. As soon as anyone left their table, she was right there to clean it up. Kept plenty of food for us hungry people!! She was awesome. You have the perfect person for the job!!

On a recent road-trip we decided to stay overnight at Yakima. Based on other positive Trip Advisor reviews, I called that evening to Best Western Plus in Yakima and made a reservation. We had a little problem with the phone connection (on my side) and it took a couple of calls to get things done, but Julia at the front desk held the reservation from the initial call. We arrived around 11pm and were greeted by friendly front desk staff and got checked in. Grabbed a quick bite for breakfast in the morning (included in room rate) and we were back on the road. This is exactly what we needed - a nice place to get some rest and continue on.

Very nice, clean hotel with lots of amenities. I had a great sleep on the comfy king bed in my room, and really enjoyed the breakfast the next morning - lots of variety! The staff was very friendly and accommodating and really made me feel valued as a customer. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel, everything was clean and appeared new. Great customer service. I would have given a 5, but I didn't because of the location. It of my window was a RV site. However it was very quiet and peaceful

Very nicely appointed place to stay in convenient location off highways surrounding Yakima. Very good quality and variety breakfast, gym, friendly staff, and nice new spacious rooms. Only downsides were that the neighborhood is a bit sketchy to walk around and Internet speed was slow.

We stay here twice a year and it is always clean and staff are all friendly. The price is a little steep, but I have not checked the pricing in the area. The tub in our room needed to be bleached on the bottom, but it was clean just stained.

Room, Location, were all great. We especially were impressed with the breakfast we got and decided to choose other Best Western Hotels for the rest of our trip; however, we found that other hotels were not as easy to find and the breakfast was not as wonderful as the one we experienced in Yakama. Great service and great accommodations. Conveniently situated close to highways 82/12. Quiet area of town. No vandalism or solicitors. I stayed 3 days for business and rest. The daily morning breakfast with real eggs and all the fixings was over the top. My salute to the woman that provided the meal each morning. From the warm welcome from the two receptionist upon my arrival, all was outstanding. I'LL BE BACK! KUDOS to the maids......the room was sky's immaculate THANKS ANA!!!!!!!!

Room was top notch, only problem was the low flow shower head didn't have good settings, took 3 times as long to rinse hair and body. Staff was pleasant and engaging, breakfast was nicely done, (except for sausage, a little underdone).

Made reservations in advance based largely on earlier reviews, price, and location. Hotel is new with very nice spacious rooms, nice staff, good breakfast, and plenty of free spacious parking. I liked the location because it was right off of the interstate and close to where we were visiting friends. However, the location is a mixed bag. Close to where we wanted to be, but (1) the street is all being rebuilt so construction activity is well underway, and the normal two lanes each way is one lane each way during construction with lots of cones marking the lanes, and this is for several blocks long, and (2) within a couple of blocks, there were homeless folks laying on the sidewalk. I walk a lot and had to walk through some groups and felt a little uncomfortable. Near the Jack in the Box several blocks away, there was a guy who seemed totally out of it with screaming & wild moves. However, the hotel was very nice, we enjoyed it, and I would stay there again, but I would find other places to walk.

All the things you expect of a top flight Best Western. Clean, good Internet, friendly staff, close in parking, quiet in the night. The full breakfast was very good. One very minor quibble, it is not close to food sources.

Nice hotel nice staff bad area. It is convenient to everything in wine country but the immediate area around the hotel is awful. The businesses in the area seem to be closed and people living on the street throughout the area.

During our 2 1/2 week vacation we stayed at various properties and this is was a very nice BW. A great value for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and places to go downtown. The fresh baked cookies were delicious and enjoyed the different, unique flavors. The flavored water was also a nice touch. The fitness room was nice, well equipped and clean.

Will definitely spend the money for Best Western! Never wanna stay anywhere else! The service was amazing! Food was amazing! Only complaint is they didn't have utensils to remove waffles and pancakes and I got burnt.

We had a long drive. Had to stop because just got too tired. We always know we can trust Best Western! They are always dependable, always clean. You know what to expect with no surprises. They even had a breakfast snack bag ready for us since we had to get back on the road before breakfast was served.

We stayed three nights at this hotel. We especially appreciated the bright lights in the lamps by the beds!!!!!! John, night desk clerk, very helpful and friendly. Connie, the breakfast room ambassador, was so friendly!! We enjoyed our visits with her as time allowed. She was kept very busy with restocking items and assisting visitors.

We travel so often staying at Best Western and Comfort Inns for the most part. The Yakima Best Western exceeds way beyond any of the other places that we have stayed over the years. The hotel is in great condition, the staff is EXCEPTIONAL! I really stress how exceptional the staff is. Each employee went out of their way to ensure that our stay was better than we expected, the grounds were very clean and welcoming. The front desk was very helpful in helping us find the type of dinner we were wanting. Checking in we were offered water and cookies. Checking out we were offered fresh Yakima grown fruit. We will never forget the wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus Yakima Hotel. If this hotel is within range of your travel plans definitely plan your stay here.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was clean and spacious. Having a couch was also a plus. Great location for many delicious restaurants, wineries and scenic views. It was definitely pet friendly and the area for dogs had easy access.

This newer property is typical of my experience with the BW chain in having polite and helpful staff, clean rooms and nicer furniture and amenities. The bed was ok (other BW properties have had much better) but the room was very quiet, despite the fact that we were on the first floor, near the vending machines and the breakfast room. The location is not very good, as other reviewers have said, as it's in a sketchy part of town, but the property itself was fine and since Yakima is small it's easy to jump in your car and get to a better neighborhood.

One of the better Best Western motels I have stayed in over the years of traveling. Very comfortable beds and it was nice to have a couch in the mini-suite. Very good hot breakfast, It is also good that Best Western allows veterans to use the military discount code.

We arrived and the room given to us, a pet room I think Room 107, smelled so bad as though someone messed up in there and the odor was sickening. I went to the desk, asked for another room, we were moved to Room 211 on the second floor which was nice. I could not understand why a maid could approved that room nor smell how bad the first one was. Breakfast buffet was typical of BW buffets. Pool was so packed I didn't use it, filled with kids. Bed was comfortable, room nice.

A one night stay passing through on a long road trip. The hotel was good; nice people and room. When walking a "few blocks" as told by the dest person to a restaurant, the environment left much to be desired. We passed several vagrants sitting and laying in local business parking lots and on the street. Some appeared to be under the influence of chemicals. There was repair work going on so much of the walkway was obstructed as was the street. There wasn't much available for delivery of food either as we looked at that first. It's too bad that the hotel is surrounded by an unseemly setting. Disappointed with Washington and Yakima for allowing their city and state to deteriorate.

I am giving this hotel three stars because the staff are friendly and doing their best. My room was a disappointment. Beige and dark brown decor with dim lighting and old shabby furnishings. The outlook from the rear of the building is a trailer park. The outlook from the front is a construction site. The surrounding area is an ugly part of town. Nothing to get me excited about staying here again.

Stayed here 1 night on our way to Mount Rainier, it did the job, room was ready early which suited us as we were then able to get up the mountain that day. The room was clean and comfortable but looked out over a rather untidy RV park next door. There were also road construction going on to the front of the hotel which would have disturbed late risers. Breakfast included but not memorable.

Nice Best Western. As always good accommodations for where it is located. As always I always look for Best Westerns. Great rewards program. Very comfortable and nice rooms. Not sure why but air conditioners at all hotels don't get the room cold enough, but overall great place

The Best Western in Yakima is the by far the BEST one around. I have traveled to many hotels in my years of travel and Yakima has spacious rooms, quality bedding and linens. The breakfast was top notch with eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, hot coffee and juice! Best Western staff are friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this Best Western if you are in the area. Cookies in the afternoon until 8 pm, delicious Oatmeal Raisin with walnuts and Chocolate Chip! Very unexpected surprise! Thank you for our stay!

Stayed here while my daughter played in a softball tournament. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was super friendly & the continental breakfast was great. Will stay here again and would definitely recommend.

Even tho the motel was full, it was quiet. Rooms was clean and stocked. Great AM breakfast and comp. USA newspaper. Cookies at night. Coffee always on. Staff friendly. North lst street is still torn up and it is difficult now to get into the motel lot.

We booked the one suite in the hotel. We were amazed at how large it was. Two bedrooms and a very large living area. Kitchen could have been better equipped but we really weren't going to use it so it wasn't a problem. Beds very comfortable.

I recommend Best Western of Yakima. Very friendly staff, comfortable room and very good breakfast. The pool was indoors and very relaxing at the end of the long drive. I recommend a stay there to relax. For dinner down the road a little restaurant called Mel's is a great place to eat lunch or dinner. Go and have fun.

It was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. There was road construction being done in front of the hotel, but access was still easy and we didn't have any noise inside.

Employees were great. Property is a little tired and could stand an upgrade. Only criticism was the bacon in the morning breakfast was horrible, you couldn't buy any bacon cheaper, was a disgrace, Facility needs to buy a much improved grade of bacon.

My wife and I stayed here 1 night. Price paid was USD 140. Our room on the 2nd floor was nice, spacius and with a sofa. The bathroom amenities were really great. The best thing during our stay was definitely the breakfast. With +50 stays in different motels in US we have a pretty solid basis for comparison, and this breakfast was definitely the best; the selection wasn't much different than other motels, but the items were of much higher quality and more tasty, especially the warm dishes (eggs, bacon and sausages). There was also a wide selection of yoghurt, milk and juice, and the waiters refilled these items on a regular basis. The only bad thing is the location right next to at least two trailer villages. Some of the residents from these trailer villages were loitering on the hotel premises, and two times they approached me asking for cigarettes and money. I didn't feel unsafe, but it was still unpleasant. The hotel should be aware of this issue. Considering the price, our room and the great breakfast I would definitely stay here again.

It was very clean and quiet. The staff was very nice and the fresh cookies were a nice treat. Would stay there again if we were needing a hotel in the Yakima valley. The elevator is old and could use a little tlc.

Hotels are not easy to review in the way that everybody seems to pay a different price for the same room and experience! My experience for what I paid was very good, if I would have paid more it would have been average and so on .... The road in front of the hotel is under construction but that isn't the hotels fault but thought you should know. I like cycling and the greenway trail along the yakima river starts about a mile a way. It covers many miles in all directions, perfect! I had to drive to any food options. If you didn't know already this area has tons of great wineries, one of my fav things to do!

Convenient stop as we traveled from Stehekin to Mt Rainier. Front desk so friendly and cookies warm when we arrived. Room very clean and hotel was quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and salsa very fresh! Thank you Connie! We will definitely stay again at a Best Western.

The staff was great, location wasn't the best but for an overnight it was ok. Hotel was clean and room clean and bed was comfortable. There was road construction so getting into the property was real easy.

Great hotel, with a great pool and hot tub for the kids. Nice staff and clean rooms! The cookies were just coming out of the oven when we checked in. Helpful staff with dining recommendations. Would stay there again anytime!

Needed to stop over night on a road trip. Good value and nice place lobby and areas were great room could use a little updating but it was just what we needed after a long day on the road. The 24 hour pool is great too.

The room itself was fine. However, it was right by the elevator making it small and noisy. The elevator door banged and people would stand right in front of your door and talk while they waited. For only one night it was ok, but I wouldn't want to stay for longer than that in that particular room.

What a great place! Clean, comfortable room, good breakfast. Customer service, especially Yolani, was exceptional! Great facility. A bit of road construction happening, but quite easy to get to. We would stay again!

My partner thought the breakfast was great. Connie went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Front desk staff were very nice too. We had a huge 2 bedroom suite as it was the only room left. Would be great if you were traveling with kids or another couple. One king bed on queen. Not fancy but clean and comfortable.

The room was adequate! I found the bathroom a bit small and not as clean as I expected from a Best Western. The breakfast was standard fare, nothing special. Watch your coffee as the tables are quite shaky! They are pet friendly, but they have no pet friendly place for walking your dog. Located right on the Main Street through Yakima, the access was a bit difficult and added to the noise level. No restaurants within a quick walk.

Always stay at BW Plus on 1st street. Close to everything and also the freeway. The people that work there are awesome. We are from the West Side and always enjoy the weather in Yakima in the Summertime.

This Best Western Plus Hotel in Yakima was Great! There was heavy construction going on in front of the hotel and I was surprised at how little noise I heard the whole time there. The person at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. In the morning the breakfast was hot and very tasty. Connie in the breakfast room was a delight, giving us water for our trip and going the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our breakfast experience! Love the beds! I slept like a baby all night long.

This was a nice property and a great rest for us! The price/value ratio was excellent. The breakfast and the nice woman managing it were great. The public spaces were a bit worn. Thank you for your hospitality!

Nice stay,love to see the breakfast served on real plates and silverware for environmental reasons. Also would love to see fresh brewed coffee (instead of out of a machine) with real cream. Other than that the room was clean and the staff was really friendly. Hour from the Gorge Amphitheater which was helpful.

I booked our room under the premise it had a pull out bed. When we got to out room, it did not and when I asked at the front desk she questioned me. Are you sure? Yes, I am sure. I checked under the cushions. What size was the couch? It wasn't a couch, it was a chair. How big was the chair? Are you kidding me? I asked to be moved to another room since she claimed the room we were in was the only one I the entire place that didn't have a pull out. She said they were sold out. I said is there someone who hasn't checked in that we could switch with. Nope everyone has checked in. Mind you...as I am standing there, two sets of families line up behind me to check in. She tells me there is room next door if I want to move part of our party over there. We decided to do that so nobody has to sleep on the floor. What she didn't tell us is that there was no TV or Wi-Fi or deadbolts because it was newly renovated even though the woman at the new place told her that and asked her to make sure we knew before coming over. Did we get compensated? Nope. Did we get an apology? Nope. Did we at least get a reduced rate at the other place? Nope. Did we get contacted by upper management like we were told we would to help resolve the situation? Nope. Do I ever complain? Nope, but I am now because it was ridiculous and not acceptable.

Stayed 1 night transiting through. Hotel is okay, good location for easy access to highway and centre. Areas to front are under construction whilst there is a trailer park directly behind premises. Facilities are okay.

Great breakfast. Room okay, except that our room 107 on the main floor was situated directly in front of an unmonitored outdoor smoking area. A table and chairs and a bench seat held a congregation of what sounded like young people visiting noisily until 1:00 am right outside our window! The sign outside the door leading to this area says "No smoking within 25 feet" and yet the table and chairs are closer than that. What's with that. Can't you post a sign saying "Quiet after 10:00pm" or something? Or patrol the area regularly? You created this area knowing that it is located outside of a guest's window. We wanted to get a good nights sleep because we had to get up early but were unable to. Also the room costs more than twice as much as Best Western hotels we stayed in the three previous nights. So, not worth it in the end.

Just stayed one night but it was a nice clean property. The desk staff was very polite and helpful. Our room was clean, had a large TV and a good sized fridge. We thought the breakfast was better than most other hotels that we have stayed at. Also went and enjoyed a swim and a hot tub before we checked out at 11am. It's an indoor pool and it's open 24/7.

The road is all torn up in front of the hotel. There was a weird curtain covering the closet that kept getting stuck in the door when leaving the room. This hotel is also in a "bad" part of Yakima. It is however close to the off ramp so its convenient

After a long wonderful day touring Mt. Rainier National Park, the Best Western in Yakima was the perfect ending for two weary travelers. If you are traveling in the area and want a clean, friendly place to stay, this is the place.

The facility is newer and well maintained. Rooms are comfortable. The neighborhood is older and not situated for walking to restaurants or shops. We had a long wait checking in, with only one person on desk duty. The people in front of us had many questions about activities and their locations in the area. She accommodated their requests with online searches which was good service for them. It would have been nice to have another desk person available to take care of others waiting.

Great breakfast and pool facility. Room was clean and quiet. Has an elevator and stairs. Newly paved parking lot. Customer service was great. Lots of choices for breakfast, bis suits, gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon, and yogurt!

I was a little concerned about the road construction in front of the hotel; the driveway was hard to find. But, once inside this Plus hotel pretty much lived up to standard. The bed was fantastic. Very comfortable. Lots of pillows of varying firmness. A/C worked well. Closet had the "don't steal me" hangars which always annoy me. Desk staff at check in and check out were attentive.

This one night was very very nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety of hot and cold foods. Wifi was very easy to get started. Room was clean. We enjoyed the stay.

Heavy street reconstruction is underway, making access and egress very challenging. I was not alerted prior to arrival and it would have been nice to know. Use caution on arrival and departure as 1st Avenue is a busy street.

Hotel is close to freeway and about 5 minutes from downtown. Stayed in a single king. Rooms look like they have been upgraded with wood-like floor by entrance and bathroom. Room comes with a mid-size fridge, couch, microwave and good size TV. There is also a small gym, and an indoor pool that has good hours, including no kids after a certain time. Also, have the typical best western breakfast with a variety of food placing it above a continental breakfast. Your view can be of the main road or a trailer park. Take the trailer park as it is quieter (especially with the early morning road construction). Also road construction made it difficult to get in and out (although that's not hotel's fault). The welcome gift is a can of Diet Coke, a bottle of water, and a small bag of Tim Cascade's original potato chips. The things that kept this from being 4 stars include: 1. All the rooms are the same so no upgrades. 2. Even though I'm the highest level rewards member could not get third floor during the week in Yakima (even though someone else in my group with lower tier was able to get third floor). This was an issue because... 3. Floors are thin and you can hear people above stomping around. Also noise from hallway comes right into the room and AC was noisy. 4. Front desk was suppose to call when room was ready (because I had food in car). Took my number but never called.

The front desk was quick to check us in and mention my Diamond status. There was coffee available and we were offered our choice of rooms. Pool was nice and I enjoyed the breakfast options. Overall other than construction going on outside our window early in the morning (not the hotel's fault) it was a fine stay. Wi-fi worked ok. Always prefer 2 sinks with 3 people, especially for a suite room.

I was going to rate it as Very Good but it was more than that. Great mattress, great AC, comfy sofa, great shower, etc. It's on the seedy edge of town but near the freeway, and the unfortunate folks nearby were harmless, having noticed them perhaps more than most folks because I go for walks. I'll revisit.

The girls at the front desk, the housekeepers, and maintenance have been more than helpful and they have become my family and home away from home....whatever I or my 94 year old mother need, they are always willing to be helpful. Overall hotel was good. Housekeeping had found food in empty rooms and stored it in my room for her later consumption. Leftovers of other people. Kind of weird. Front desk was helpful, pool was warm., hot tub wasn't working the one time it went down. Easy to find, ok parking, nice place to stay.

This is a very well run hotel, Considering the extreme amount of crime at it's doorstep. The room was clean a small but clean work out area with good equipment. The pool was clean but the hot tub needed a cleaning. The area itself is a bit shady The area has a extreme amount of circling criminal activity. it's a bit surreal to see crime disappear as the police circle . Clean and efficient hotel

After missing our flight to Colorado we ended up staying at BW's. Lots a driving and they were all consistently nice. This one in particular went out of their way to make our stay better. We had booked this particular hotel because they had a indoor pool and hot tub. I had promised My special needs son he could swim when we got there. When we got there we learned the pool was closed. The nice female at the front counter went out of her way to call around to determine that the pool had been treated but it was fine to go in now. It made our night as I am sick and my husband too him. He had a lot of let downs this trip but this was such a big deal to us. Thank you, and I apologize I forget the lady's name.

Connie who is in charge of breakfast did a great job. Connie was alert and attentive, always making sure things were perfect. The eggs, bacon and sausages were cooked perfectly (we had breakfast at a competitor in Klamath Falls yesterday. It was about the worst breakfast ever). So it was a pleasure to enjoy this meal today,. Many thanks to Connie.

People were nice and friendly, Room was clean. Parking was not good as there were work trucks taking up 3 spaces a piece but this has no bearing on the Hotel. It just made it difficult for me as i handicap plates and had to park far from where are room was due to the work trucks. As far as the hotel it was a good visit

Very pleasant stay at Best Western Plus. The room was clean and well decorated. Comfortable bed and bedding. The receptionist at the front desk was pleasant and offered us a gift bag with soda, water and snacks. Great breakfast. Lots of food and very tasty. Will stay there in our next trip.

This Hotel has an extremely friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast. I have stayed at over 125 different Best Western Properties since 2008 and this one is a True Plus. Close to Freeway access yet quiet enough to get some real sleep.

The hotel staff were excellent and helpful. The facility has no room for trailers or motor homes.. The location was not the best. there were lots of strange characters walking the streets around the hotel. looks like an old area

Located just off the junction from the I-12 at the start of the Yakima valley. Hotel rooms large & clean. Staff friendly especially reception/check in. Given choice of water or Gatorade on checking in. Breakfast incl. & was pretty good incl. fresh scrambled eggs that hadn't been sitting for ages

The room is a fair size with a sofa. Nice to sit on something besides the bed to watch v. It is close to amenities. The front desk lady Amanda? I think was a pleasure to deal with and helpful with all our question

The location seemed to be not in a very nice part of town but the property seemed to be well-maintained and inside was clean and well-kept. The bed was average comfort and there was plenty of room to move around the room(we had a king room). The indoor pool was nice (it was actually warm!) and the hot tub a bonus. We like the 24 hour pool and fitness options! The fitness room was really clean. My son and I both enjoyed the breakfast options. The staff were very friendly!

This hotel is a fantastic, budget friendly hotel! Clean, amazing breakfast, pool, hot tub and friendly staff. Rooms are super spacious. Beds are firm, so not very comfortable for me, but others in the room loved them.

I have stayed here a couple times. My first stay was so pleasant that I came back hoping it wasn't just a fluke. Facility and rooms were very clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and i was shocked at the variety. The staff was the best I have dealt with in a long time. Everybody was happy and up beat no matter what time I came through. I have made this my go to stay when in Yakima.

This hotel is in a very convenient location, right off the interstate. It's very convenient, the rooms are large and clean, it's close to downtown restaurants and shopping, and the prices are very reasonable.

I usually do not take the time to write a review, but I had to make a shout out to the staff of this hotel. Raquel at the front desk is very friendly and makes the best infused water ever. Then there is the cook staff (Halley and Connie) that make breakfast very homey. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. There wasn't a single thing I would change.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have seen it improve of the years. Our kids love the pool, and the breakfast is great. One thing that hasn't changed is the lack of hot water. Each of our visits have been 3 to 4 nights, and we NEVER get a hot shower. Some mornings it is ice cold! I wish that they were able to upgrade the hot water tanks to accomodate for the number of rooms.

Nicole was very friendly and did a fabulous job of keeping the buffet well-stocked and the tables clean for us at breakfast this morning. That's not easy when you're serving 17 high school basketball players! Kudos to Nicole for going above and beyond for us!

Front desk personnel were polite, friendly, and prompt in handling my check in issue. I was only there long enough to shower and sleep. The rooms were clean and the maids tidied up well each day. The breakfast was a welcome surprise as I was in a hurry each day and this saved a stop. WiFi worked well, TV had very few channels.

Was great hotel, checked in quickly, told about breakfast, cookies in afternoon, asked if i needed anything that i may have forgotten, completely satisfied with customer service and room. Only problem this visit was hot tub was broken and did not get fixed while i was there.

We enjoyed our stay for Red Wine and Chocolate weekend at the Best Western. What we particularly liked was their pet policy - they are cat friendly which is surprisingly hard to find in this area. Nearly every hotel will take dogs, but most do not accept cats. We were in a bit of a bind with the snow in the suburbs around Seattle making our house inaccessible to a pet sitter. We either had to either bring our cat, or cancel the trip. Thankfully we called this hotel and found that they were more than accommodating. We were able to make the trip. I appreciated the welcome bag for elite members - that's a perk that I almost never see from BW! The hotel itself has been updated although I'm not sure how recently. I found the bed to be very comfortable, and the furnishings and vanity were well appointed. However, the bathrooms were a tad worn. Breakfast was good, but could have used a little bit of variety each day... the items were identical all three days we were there. The location is right off of I-82 and US-12, and it gives a nice head start on the trip back for wine folks going back to the Puget Sound area as opposed to hotels that are a bit further to the south near Union Gap, Zillah, Prosser, and the like. There are a few comments about the neighborhood in other reviews, but as long as you use the same common sense you'd employ at any other hotel (lock car doors, don't go out walking alone late at night, etc), I think it's fine. Especially for the price, I thought the hotel was a great value. My wife and I would return.

I've stayed at numerous Yakima area hotels and this one is very good for the price. The breakfast bar is good, just a little to heavy with carb items and needs a few more protein items. The fitness room needs an upgrade of equipment and a larger room. Usually this is an area the hotel either sacrifices and puts energy into it or you can tell it's an after-thought and they use a small room and shove 3 pieces of mediocre equipment in the room. Unfortunately, that's what this hotel did. Otherwise, very pleasant staff, and super clean rooms.

Our favorite place to stay! Had a small issue with the room or it would have 5 stars. Andrea and the GM made the small issue disappear with their out standing customer service! My kids just couldn't get enough of her attention and she took it better than you could expect! Warm cookies at night 24 hour pool, my kids wanted to stop and talk to her every time we passed the front desk. Each visit she has crayons and coloring book. At breakfast we are greeted with smiles and staff willing to go out of their way. Yakima is not my favorite place but for business I am there 1-2 nights per month and I won't stay anywhere else! It's says something, when your staff can enagage the entire family and make you feel like you have known them forever.

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast, prepared by Nicole, was hearty and delicious. The property was clean and well maintained, as well as centrally located for the different sites we visited. Would highly recommend this hotel to others!

We stayed here for one night got in late but the pool was open 24 hours so that was very nice. The beds are fantastic, the breakfast was phenomenal best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel, Connie the breakfast ambassador does a great job.

I have stayed at many BW hotels, and by far the BW in Yakima is the best I've seen. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean! I enjoyed my visit. The only thing was the internet which was not compatible with my company equipment.

I was only here for 18 hours, but this BW Plus definitely matched my expectations of a BW Plus. Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was extensive and good. This was the first place I have received a rewards member bag of goodies, which was an unexpected and much appreciated perk. Only issue was that my hot water didn't stay hot during my morning shower; it didn't get super cold... just didn't stay hot.

Nice clean rooms, breakfast with lots of choices, and of course awesome staff!! The rooms were spacious and had everything my family might of needed. Glad we got to enjoy the pool and hot tub. Will definitely be back to enjoy Yakima.

This is at least our fourth year of spend a couple days after Christmas in the Yakima Best Western Plus. They need day care and we want some time with them. The facility works very well. The indoor pool is always clean and just the right temp. The breakfast is fine, and the Breakfast Ambassador- Connie in charge of the breakfast room is friendly and very organized. The staff in general is very friendly and helpful. Once the breakfast hours end each day we moved into the breakfast room to play games on the tables. Overall, it is a fun place!

Our trip to Yakima was on a whim and it stretched from one night planned to three nights. Our family decided to get together and meet and we chose this best Western in Yakima as it was a central point. It is a prime location as it is easy to get off and back on to the freeway, the people are extremely nice, and the rooms are very clean. We made sure to start our day late enough so we were able to take advantage of the great breakfast they serve. Connie is the breakfast ambassador and she keeps the kitchen and eating area looking immaculate and very friendly. She is very friendly and if you don't see something that works for you, she will do what she can to take care of you. We will be back.

We only had an overnight trip but the hotel was great, every area that we visited in the hotel was very clean from the food area to the pool. Fresh baked cookies on the counter were a nice touch. Great price and nice room rounded out our experience.

Great Breakfast service and very cordial service people, especially with Breakfast person, good place to stay with pet. Close to family in Selah. Easy in and out from freeway. Pool and hot tub were great.

I stayed for three nights in a king room. Very spacious with current decor. I was super excited when I saw how large the mini fridge was. I packed my food with me and I was able to fit three days of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks into the refrigerator and didn't have to mess with my cooler. It was great! Only negative about my stay was there was no hot water on morning #2 and I had to take a cold shower. They fixed the issue as there was hot water on morning #3.

Rooms were clean and well laid out. Staff was really courteous and helpful. Only complaint was the breakfast options as there was one choice of mains each day. Bacon (my fav) was greasy. Would recommend to others.

I was at the best weastern for a little under a Month During that time I really didn't have any issues. The only issue was the kids teams that would be really load and playing around the hallway like it was thier backyard. Other reviews I seen about the trailer park and homeless issue. Yes there is a trailer park located next door but I had zero issues with it. Homeless people was around a lot by they really mind their own bussniss. At no time did I fell unsafe. One last thing, wish they had one more set of washer and dryers. At less two working ones, seem like they always had one broken .

We booked this hotel due to its proximity to a family wedding with low expectations based on past experiences with this brand. However, upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the clean and updated lobby as well as excellent staff. The room was also updated and clean with a comfortable bed and enough space to move around. In the morning, the breakfast was unlike that I have experienced at other similar properties - fruit, bagels, muffins, eggs, and waffles were among the array of choices. In the future, I will now seriously consider BW Plus when booking travel.

Wife and I (with our dog) recently spent a night at Best Western. It's a dog friendly hotel that has a nice green strip of grass on side of hotel for dogs... it's off a street so it can get a little busy. Courteous desk clerk at check in .. gave our dog a biscuit and provided us info on places to visit. At 5pm .. they provided chili and cookies .. both were very good. Room was clean, shopping/dining close to hotel. Free breakfast was very good .. waffles, cereals, breads, muffins, scrambled egg, sausage, biscuits, and more.. breakfast area was spacious. A lot of positives with hotel .. We would return and would recommend to anyone including dog owners.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was nice. Hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful. There were 2 things however that made our stay a tad unenjoyable. First one not the hotels fault but we had to talk to a team staying there about staying quiet and not running up and down the hall slamming doors and knocking on doors. Kept me up until 1am the first night. Second issue was the breakfast. We were told that since there were teams there and the rooms were full that breakfast would be ready by 6am. Not true. Breakfast was ready by 7am. Teams had to be at the SOZO fields by 8am. The items that were suppose to be hot were at the best warm. Had to microwave them to get them hot. Other than that we would stay there again in the future.

My husband and I have been choosing Best Western for the past five or six years since retirement. We have found the rooms to be clean and and to contain all things we need to make our evenings pleasant. Knowing what to expect is important in helping us plan our trips. Coffee and breakfast onsite is a must for us because we like to get an early start on our road trips. If you are an avid "road-tripper" Best Western will more than likely show up at your destination, and knowing what you can expect is comforting.

Nice and clean, pool and spa very clean. Breakfast had great ootions...tomato juice and almo d milk! Berries and whip cream for waffles, hard boiled eggs were sealed up. Comfortable beds, super staff all they way around. Shout out to Misty in the breakfast area. Very sweet tomy grandaughters. Our first stay here, but we will be back! We already have our future reservations made for Nov and Dec!

We had a long drive, count on Best Western and chose this spot by its location. It was very nice, lovely clean room, nice staff and great breakfast! We needed nothing else and actually wished we could stay longer. We would definitely go there again!

This was our third stay within the last 4 weeks, and as usual, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are reasonably priced, and we will continue to stay here when we pass through Yakima.

The room was perfect for my son and I for this 3 day visit to Yakima. Was never bothered by anything. Just a nice relaxing place. The morning breakfast was very good and well presented..... The staff was very friendly.

Room was nice except the wood fence right outside the window, TV remote didn't work well. Can hear neighbors I next rooma above. Wouldn't walk alone outside the parking lot, large groups of what looked like gang bangers hanging around. 1 prostitute, no where to eat unless you want hole in the wall Mexican food, 1 Subway, 1 red lobster

Hotel was clean and breakfast was tasty with a great selection. Unfortunately the area of town was rundown, did not feel safe going out after dark. Air conditioning unit was noisy. I only stayed one night so difficult to rate any further.

Im not sure this property is at the standard of other BW Plus. Its not terrible but not at the level one has grown accustom to. Its an older property that they have done work on but it falls a bit short. Staff was kind and capable. Stayed only one night and thats about what I recommed if you are traveling thru, this place can fill a gap.

This hotel was clean and well kept. The staff were all extremely pleasant and friendly. The room was large and had a desk, couch, padded bench, refrigerator, microwave, bedside lamps, nice size bathroom counter and comfortable bed. Breakfast was provided and coffee was available in the room. Tea, coffee, and cider were always available. Cookies were available in the afternoon and evening.

Trailer park next door staff is young. You should be worried about car in parking lot. . the room was ok and I dont need much but a tv and cleen room. the valu I would pay for room is $85 . I have been a gest severl times at hotell because I am a rewards member and collect points the kennewick prorerty much nicer. best western needs more consisindency .

One important thing that stands out in my mind is that when we were about a half hour out on our way home I suddenly remembered I had left a treasured jacket in the closet of our room. At almost that exact time I received a phone call from the Best Western telling me they had found my jacket.They readily agreed to send it to our home address in Woodinville. That had happened to me several other times in the past, at other motels, and I never saw the clothing again. That topped off a great visit!

Absolutely amazing customer service! I had booked our reservation a few months in advance for one night. Last minute I needed to arrive a day early and the hotel was booked except for one single room. I went ahead and reserved it. Upon my arrival at midnight I had asked if there had been any cancellations so that I could have the same room for 2 nights without having to switch rooms. Jess immediately responded that it was all taken care of and that I was placed in a double room for two nights with the same group rate as my original reservation. Friendly and accommodating!

Close to basic shopping and some good restaurants. Quiet too, considering there was a fair amount of commercial business in the area and a large RV park out back. When we come back to this area next year we will stay here again.

We've stayed here before, so we figured we stay here again since its a convenient location (that is if you don't mind being near the Union Gospel Mission and the homeless people out on the street). Although our stay wasn't bad, it could've been better if we had hot water in the shower. You had to leave the shower handle straight up and you would get barely "room temp" water. the lever was backwards, you turn to the left (as you normally would for hot water) and you get extremely cold water. you turn to the right (to normally get cold water) and you get just cold water. We thought maybe it was a fluke the first morning and didn't say anything. We were wrong. The second morning, I couldn't even get the room temp water, I literally just walked under the shower and get out. Both nights we were here in the evening it was cold and I wanted something warm to drink from their 24 hr coffee/tea service in their dining room. Each night there was a group of people in there, I don't think it was "reserved", they were just in there. But I got uncomfortable looks the first night when I opened the door. I left. The group (or maybe a different group) was in there our 2nd night but this time I knew better, I could hear them thru the door, I didn't bother opening it. I know, that's not the hotels fault, I'm just saying this group could have been more inviting and kept the doors opened for the rest of the hotel guests to use. The elevator was kind of questionable. It was making creepy noises and would jolt. My other half likes to stay here, but I think for any future visits, I'm going to make reservations elsewhere.

Excellent staff from start to finish. Changed our room to accommodate my use of a walking stick making it easier for us to access the dinning room for breakfast in the morning, and accessing the car parking spaces.

We thought the hotel was good for the price, except cigarette smoke odor came in via air vent. (Our room was even situated with other non smoking rooms.) Probably will look for alternative in Yakima. Very unfortunate.

So disappointed in the service we got from here. They kicked out because my sick parents both who are cancer patients because they smelt like weed. The employees came and had them evicted at night with two children. Being civil with them my family left, but now in the morning come to find out the employees has lied to their business. They said that there was burn marks from cigarettes so they double charged the rooms. And they have banned my grandmother from ever returning there again after she asked to see pictures or the evidence that they claimed that we did to the room. I will never stay at a beat western again. Best Western treats their great like shirts. I will never tell anyone to sleep at a beat western again.

But we had a shower with no hot water, the handle was broken so all the hot water leaked out of it and only cold came out the shower head. Would think that housekeeping would notice when cleaning the tub. The property is beautifully remodeled and we loved the art work. Great breakfast and Misty who was working in the breakfast room was fantastic. Kept everything full and ready to go and it was really busy when we were in there. But, trying to make my almost 11 year old shower in a cold shower on her birthday trip was really big negative. I was offered a pretty good amount of points as compensation but they have yet to show up.

A warm welcome from the front desk with freshly baked cookies a welcome addition. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Pool and hot tub were welcome after a days hiking. So so area but close to freeway for easy access.

The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Sink area separate from tub/toilet. Good options for breakfast. Staff were friendly. Good hotel for an overnight stop in Yakima. What we expect from Best Western.

We stayed over Labor Day and had a nice room which was clean and comfortable. The beds were particularly comfortable. Nice pool and very friendly staff. We will stay here again next time we are in Yakima.

Good proximity to freeway, but not much else. Neighborhood is a bit desolate. Yet the facility is good, staff very friendly and breakfast good quality/variety. Quiet and comfortable, despite being just a few blocks from the freeway.

The location was extremely easy to get to. The rooms have obviously been upgraded and the overall features would make it easy to spend more than a few days there. The A/C was still a bit noisy while cooling, but the room design helped a bit as I was able to get quite a ways away from it. However, the pillows are the mini squares that I have been seeing in a lot of places lately and make it hard to get a comfortable setup for me personally. Your mileage may vary...

We stayed 2 nights The staff was so welcoming and friendly! We enjoyed the 24hr pool and hottub. The room was very clean and quiet wifi worked great The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy we enjoyed the local fresh fruits plus they have a nice assortment of foods for peoples tastes. I will be back see you again soon.

Excellent from the moment we came through the door, especially since we had a horrible experience the night before. Cold drinks waiting along with fresh baked cookies. Doom was wonderful and breakfast was outstanding!

The room was quite large and was quiet! I believe the emperature was bone 104 that day but room was nice and cool. Everything worked perfectly- AC, TV, MW and fridge. On third floor but no problem with elevator. All in all it was all i could ask for. I would not want to do a walk about in that neighborhood in the evening but I probably wouldn't in most places anyway.

Decent hotel with above average breakfast. They offer fresh local fruit (peaches at this time) The area is a bit rough. Avoid walking around at night. Nice Italian restaurant half a mile away (drive) Well lit and fenced Parking lot with visible security cameras.

This property is very nice. It shows it's age in some ways, but the overall effect is as a good recent renovation (the bathrooms are mostly where you can tell that it's a little older. The space is good. The ac might need a bit of a boost, but the room was overall pretty comfy. My daughter RAVED about the fitness room. It's just renovated and she said it was the nicest she's been to at a hotel. The hot tub was nice, could've been hotter, but more to the point, no real jets or bubbles, this seems to be common these days in hotel hot tubs, no idea why, but it's not as good as real bubbles and forceful jets. Breakfast was very nice, quite good food and everyone was friendly. When we first checked in, the tv wasn't working, so the front desk clerk, (SO NICE!) offered to move us to another room, then discovered (before moving us thank goodness) the tvs were out all over the hotel. So we were out of tv when we most wanted to relax and wind down after the drive of the day. It was OK, we went out for a bit and came back and it was working. They tried hard for us. The hotel is very nice, though the surrounding area is a little difficult, though that seems true of most Yakima hotels, so I'd return to this property without hesitation.

Breakfast was run by Connie. She did a great job making sure we had everything we needed/wanted! The room was quiet and the AC worked great. Staff was friendly. Other hotels in the area were either more expensive or ghetto.

Sketchy Neighborhood, trailer park next-door. Service at the front desk was slow when we checked in. The hotel inside was clean and nice. But I wouldn't recommend this Best Western due to the location and and service at night. The staff in the morning were really nice and great service in the cafeteria.

After spending the whole day hiking my boyfriend and pulled into the hotel parking lot the girl at the front desk was extremely friendly she even gave us a list of restaurants in the area . The bed was super comfy and we had plenty of towels. The next morning we had one of the best breakfasts from our whole trip, Connie was very friendly she stopped and got to know us for a minute, it's a nice feeling when the employees treat you so friendly. We would definitely stay again!!! (P.S. the only thing that could of made the stay a little nicer would be if the A.C unit was running when entering the room, it took most of the evening to cool down)

Spent three nights in the Hotel. Rooms are quite comfortable. Location is in the small town convenient for excursions Ex Yakima. Staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast is only upto 9 AM which is rather early. Even variety/ quality of Breakfast can be improved.

I like this hotel very much every time I go to Yakima to visit my family I stay here. Staff are friendly and professional. Cookies and cold water for amenity is a plus, breakfast is free and comes with many selections. Thank you for being the best in town.

We have stayed inYakima before, but usually closer to the convention center. Decided to stay at the Best Western since I'm a Rewards member. Though not in the heart of many restaurants, it's location near Highway 12 & I-82 makes it easy to get in & out to explore the area. Very nice hotel, looked brand new. We had our bikes and it was a couple of exits to a trailhead. Staff was very helpful and attentive. We would definitely would stay here again the next time in Yakima.

We were here for a family wedding and I booked four rooms. Everyone very satisfied with their accaccommodations. I was hoping to have biscuits and gravy one time for breakfast . Rooms decorated beautifully with great beds. Refreshing to find a bowl of fresh apricots at the desk from a nearby family farm.

Quotes from Psalms adorn the front hall and every entrance vestibule of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the absence of televisions in the breakfast room. The best aspect of this hotel is the outdoor pool. It's large and beautiful. I've noticed that at least one reviewer remarked on the neighborhood; in our case, we felt completely safe.

We are traveling through Washington. Yakima was to be a stop. We chose BestWestern because it was newer and we're familiar with their standards. We had a nice suite. Any question was quickly and politely addressed.

Poor location for hotel. Rough area with homeless etc. Hotel was good overall. No restaurants in area and had to use taxi. Staff was helpful with restaurant info. Would probably stay at south end Best Western next time.

We arrived late one recent evening, in your fair city, and selected a favourite {BW} Hotel. However, we discovered the entire city was booked solid. Being late in the evening,the front desk Manager: Rebecca Gutierrez, stepped up as a professional, questioned our needs and preferences, and did a search of all quality hotels in her area;; located and qualified rate and guaranteed availability, and directed us successfully to a different hotel (which I have also reviewed}. Thanks to the friendliness, knowledge able staff and quality service... Best Western came through again, Tired, in an unknown city, , you certainly came through for two most appreciative Canadian travellers.. You top the list....everywhere!!!

We booked our hotel based on reviews and they were right. This is a very clean and comfortable hotel with a GREAT staff. We were greeted with water, our room was spotless and we woke up to a great breakfast (thanks Connie, breakfast was SO good!) Great job Best Western Plus Yakima (and entire team), our family was very happy staying here and we will surely be back!

We are in the process of moving fromTacoma, WA to Nevada. We did not get away until late in the afternoon so we drove 3 1/2 hours to Yakima and stopped for the night. This is a nice, clean modern facility. The front desk staff was excellent. He even helped me park my U Haul truck and attached trailer. Great cooks, great room, quiet and peaceful. Dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Terence check me in. Fantastic person, more hotels with his attitude and personality will do better. It felt me welcome immediately. Next morning lady in the kitchen was fantastic as well. I will recommend this hotel because the people taht work there understand service to guests.

My family and I were in town for a graduation event and we decided to stay here at the Best Western Yakima. I cannot say enough about our stay! From the moment we checked in we were warmly greeted and were even offered water and/or Gatorade. The entire staff was so friendly, even the housekeepers greeted us daily. Breakfast was much more then expected and delicious! So many options to choose from and the breakfast attendant kept it nice, stocked, fresh and hot! I am so sorry I didn't get any names, but next time I will because we will surely be back! Thank you Best Western for a great, comfortable, welcoming stay. You did not disappoint my family or I.

Excellent service, excellent room! I would have liked to have stayed longer than just the one night. We made our reservations in the morning and checked in just before 9pm. The gentleman at the front desk the evening of 6/17/2018 (I wish I had gotten his name) was extremely polite, friendly and efficient. We were checked in and off to our room very quickly. The room was fantastic! Very clean and spacious! Comfortable bed. Fast internet. The free cookies (from 4pm to 9pm) were delicious and much appreciated. The breakfast had a large selection with waffles, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, eggs, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, etc. The lady tending the breakfast area was attentive and very helpful. checkout was fast and easy and the lady at the front desk was very friendly. The next time we pass through Yakima, we will definitely stay at this Best Western again. Thank you!

This Best Western property did not disappoint. The front desk staff was so friendly, the all-night coffee machine is the best, and the breakfast was awesome! It is really close to the freeway. Also very quiet. We'll stay again.

We did a last minute stay at this hotel on our way to a wedding. Martha at check in was so delightful, and patient with our goofy and tired selves. We got in late- and we were TIRED! The bed and bedding were like a cloud. I slept so well! We got a nice room with a couch, and despite being right in front of the stairs, didn't hear anything at all. Working in hotels myself, I find myself being the worst critiquer, but the room was so clean and wonderful. Thank you!

I arrived mid-afternoon and was greeted pleasantly by the person at the front counter. They recognized my membership status and told me that not only do they offer points but they also offer the goodie bag. They offered several types of beverages which was new (for me) and a nice change even though I still opted for water (dietary restrictions). I was offered my choice of floors and ended up with a room close enough to the side entry so as not to have to walk to far to the car to unload, but also not noisy when very person comes in and out of that door. The room was nicely done up, and spacious. All of the amenities worked, and the bed was super comfortable. I travel a fair amount and sleep on lots of beds. This one was great for me. The internet was not so good which is why the 4 stars. I end up working in the room at night to maximize my time in any one location. Slow internet really makes for long evenings. The room I was in for some reason seemed slower than I am used to. There was no road noise, no loud customers throughout the evening banging doors...all in all a good stay! Checkout was a breeze and all staff were very friendly.

It was a very busy weekend most of the hotels motels were booked we still received personal service snacks at Jack in water at check out for the trip home. Very nice very helpful very clean. Price was reasonable pool area was well stocked with towels and clean.

The staff had excellent customer service. They directed me to good local food, they helped me when I forgot a personal item in my hotel room after check out. They were always courteous. Hotel room was clean and amenities were great. Would definitely stay there again.

This place had everything I wanted for a business trip. The hotel was quiet, the room was very clean, the bed comfortable, the staff were all friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, and it is convenient to Highway 12. I will definitely stay there when I travel to Yakima.

Wonderful staff, beautiful hotel at a great price! I was greeted by the staff and we did not have a reservation, however the staff were able to accommodate us with a room. The pool is open 24 hours for adults! I highly recommend this BW!

I stayed here along my journey to all 4 corners of America raising awareness for veterans with PTSD. This place was absolutely amazing and beautiful! The rooms were so clean I almost thought it was a new room! The staff was so nice and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable and comes with lots of great pillows! Breakfast in the mornings were good and hot! It is a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone!

Was the best best western I've ever stayed at. Connie in the kitchen made sure I had everything I needed for my start of the day( everyday). They were very clean and comfortable rooms. Had three rented. My crew liked them too.

Great customer service, had a great stay. The staff was awesome and helpful. We had no issues and definitely would stay again. The pool and hot tub were just what we needed after a long day of driving.

I'm a busy person and I travel alot for a living and let me tell you I've stayed in so many different hotel's and this one by far has the best staff and the best breakfast so far there's many options to choose from I had a very amazing conversation with Eddie about the tomatoe juice he even gave me a couple to go and not once have i seen that kid stop smiling he's very kind and has good spirit to be around with , he's so polite , so sweet , asked to take my plate , asked how my stay was , refilled my coffee cup , even gave me directions to where I needed to go I give this hotel a 10/10 I would definitely be staying here again I am gonna highly recommend this hotel to my friends my overall experience with this Best Western Plus Yakima Hotel was amazing thank you for the amazing stay:)

Great staff, very nice room. Had a great night sleep on a quality mattress. The hotel was dog friendly, and pet access to the outdoors was very good. Wish we had chosen Best Western earlier in the week.

What a delight it was to be able to huddle 8n a cozy room while it rained outside. The reception was personal and very courteous. Any questions were answered with great care and kindness. As we have stayed at a variety of Best Western hotels this one ranks up there for great value for your money. Excellent breakfast variety and well presented.

The service was top notch check in and check out were pretty speedy. The breakfast surpassed my expectations. There was a sports team so the kids were a bit loud, but they settled down the time we went to bed.

we had a ground level one bedroom suite with two queens, the room was decent but it needs upgrading and better products in the room and the bathroom. The room felt a bit cheap but the gym and pool was nice.

Was very impressed with the cleanliness and the extra special touches, like super nice breakfast worker and the great choices for breakfast, the warm cookies at check in, and as we were leaving a couple Cliff bars for our journey. Thank you!

Clean, friendly staff, typical breakfast. Worth the cost. I used the very small “gym”,....clean, well stocked with water, towels, and disinfectants. The staff in the breakfast room were especially helpful, and were working hard taking care of customers and si ultaneously unloading what looked like a month worth of supplies.

Spacious, clean room, well equipped. No restaurant, need to take the car. Good, various breakfast. Small glutenfree section. All plastic and paper plates, cups and cutlery. No recycling possibilities. Good stay.

Clean, good amenities (e.g. small indoor pool, afternoon cookies, water bottles, free USA Today, guest laundry, business "center"), friendly and accountable staff, good wi-fi, location right off the freeway. You'll need a car to get anywhere, since it's about 2 boring miles along a busy highway to downtown. The free breakfast is unexceptionable: the usual make-your-own waffles, greasy fried stuff, cold cereal. I filled out the after-stay evaluation that Best Western sent, and was pleasantly surprised to get a quick email from the manager after I complained about no nonfat milk. He said they'd work to get healthier offerings. I didn't mention this to him, but it would be nice to have a newspaper rack to buy the local newspaper, although there's one next door at a waffle place. The price:value equation was excellent. I'd stay here again. You might want to ask for a room that doesn't face the highway.

The service was amazing Jesse was attentive and nice, even though it was 2 am when we checked in. Misty kept the breakfast stocked and clean and was helpful as well. I like the idea of a 24 hour pool but have children and couldn't utilize it.

I felt welcome the minute I walked through the lobby! The front desk staff was friendly and professional. Fast and easy check in right into a beautiful room. My compliments to the housekeeping staff for exceeding my expectations. My room was comfortable and clean and I had more space than I expected. The manager, Sydney Pons, and her staff will make you feel right at home, I couldn't have asked for better service ! Breakfast in the morning had all of my favorites and the attendant was so helpful. I will definitely be back to this location!

I stayed at the Best Western Plus Yakima Hotel while I was traveling with my team and the staff went above and beyond. Because my team stayed at the hotel, they gave us a case of Gatorade for free! The staff opened up breakfast an hour early for us so we could eat and be at the gym on time. My team and I haven't ever stayed at a hotel that does that much for us. Also, it was just renovated so it was modern and affordable. My team and I will be back every time we're in Yakima, Washington.

I had such a pleasant time staying here. Management was so awesome and all staff were very attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend and stay here again whenever I visit. Room was spacious and clean.

I always enjoy staying here when I am in Yakima on business. Staff is always super friendly. Large rooms with enough space to move around and a TV large enough to see. I never have any issues here. Any they make a pretty good cookie.

My cousin and I plan at least 3 or 4 trips a year and this month we ended up in Yakima to our surprise, and delight! The staff was exceptional and the room was almost better than my own! Very clean, quiet and oh-so-comfy! I highly recommend this hotel if you're in town or just happen to randomly land there like Me!

An adequate hotel with some good people and good rooms at a value price. Good breakfast, well prepared and maintained. The hotel is not located in a great location, convenient off the highway but a drive to any attraction, restaurant or downtown.

I was in town for the State High School Basketball Tournament for one night. I have stayed in several other hotels in Yakima as recently as last summer, and this one was clearly better than the others that I have stayed in. It's on the north end of town right as you get into Yakima (coming from the Ellensburg direction), but it only took me about 5 minutes to get to the Sundome on the other end of town. It's a clean hotel with very pleasant people at the front desk. The room was also very clean and nice, and the free breakfast was really good. I'd definitely stay here again.

We had personalized, attentive service the whole time we were there. The lady at the front desk was friendly and patient, a welcome way to be greeted after our long drive. She was kind enough to bring a fan for our room on request. The next morning, Connie at breakfast kept everything neat, tidy, and full. I didn't lack for anything. Thanks, Connie! Everything in the hotel and in our room was spic and span, and ready for our arrival. We also very much appreciate BestWestern's pet policy, which was a deciding factor in where to stay. Thanks!

We came here as a lady minute. We were posing to push through, but were too tired. We were received with a pleasant smile, reasonable price, and great breakfast. I kept reading all the reviews starting what a good breakfast ... I thought maybe they are exaggerating. But it's for real, great breakfast! ?? definitely made my day. Beds were clean, room felt clean, bathroom was clean, nice thick towels, a place for my boys (dogs) to walk (there is a grassy area where I took them). The grassy area does have a lot of poop, I guess some ppl don't like to pick up after their pets so be careful where you step. Three walls are a bit thin to where you can hear your neighbors, but most hotels are this way. Unless you are going to some 5***** hotel this is pretty much the norm. I have zero complaints. We had two beds, one felt soft and one felt firm. Idk if that was intentional or just one gets used more than the other, but it was perfect for us. I would recommend it. As a matter of fact my husband is staying there again on his travel back home with our two boys. ?? Safe travels!

I found this hotel to be clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and very good. The hotel staff, especially Rebecca and Terrance at the reception desk were very helpful in resolving and issue with my rewards points. I would definitely stay at Best Western Plus Yakima Hotel again.

Not expecting to have to stay in Hotel -- sponsoring company called late on sunday night for room -- no problems at all . Attractive and friendly woman at desk at check-in ,made whole process simple . Qiet ,restful night sleep and great hot breakfast in AM before I proceeded to appointment . Couldn't be happier with stay .

Do not stay in room #214 as the neighboring unit #216 (which shares the same wall) has the ability of transmitting noise through the wall into #214. People in there during our stay woke us up at 6am using the shower, toilet, TOILET PAPER DISPENSER and simply talking. Don't stay in #214. The two queen beds were uncomfortable and hard. On a good note, the sole woman who was working in the breakfast area was very polite and kind. She kept the food presentable and the tables very clean. She deserves a pay raise.

Needed to breakup a long drive, and decided to stay in Yakima at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice and large with a sofa and large comfy chair. The king bed was a bit hard, but we slept well. The morning breakfast was one of the best I've encountered in a hotel. I'd would definitely recommend this hotel for a Yakima stay

We stayed at this hotel on Thanksgiving night while in Yakima to visit family for the holiday. The room was clean and somewhat updated. We chose this hotel with the kids since it had a pool. We went down to use the pool that evening and it was FREEZING cold. The kids were super disappointed which was a bummer, but breakfasts the next morning really made up for it. The kids loved making their own waffles and pancakes and having so many options!

Our family of four stopped for rest the night before Thanksgiving, and before finishing our trip to see family we enjoyed a stellar breakfast. With the holiday, it wasn't too crowded, and the breakfast coordinator, Connie, was friendly and so kind to my little girls, who were beyond excited to be staying in a hotel. Connie wished us a happy holiday, made sure we had what we needed, and the breakfast was hot, fresh, fully stocked and had plenty of healthy and filling options. We plan to make this a regular stopping point when we need to rest in this area! Thanks to the lovely staff at the Best Western Plus Yakima for a restful and impressive stay. Kindness rocks. I had a great stay people were nice and friendly. Good size room and quiet. Breakfast was good but crowded. I would recommend this hotel to friends. Close to the freeway and a few places to eat or close by.

A very friendly and helpful group of members work here. The area was convenient to the places we needed to go but the restaurant selection leaves something to be desired. The inclusive breakfast, while not gourmet, was sufficient and pleasant enough to satisfy us for our trip home,

Nice place to stay. Great breakfast. Connie the lady that does the buffet was great. Kept the food in supply. One note is that all double queen rooms are on highwyway side of building. Kings are on opposite side. Great pool and hot tub.

This is a great property that is well located and easy to find. Bed comfortable and room well appointed. Breakfast bar had all the goodies and Connie, the host made sure the food items were replenished and cleaned the counters regularly. Well located in Yakima

Enjoyed our stay in this Best Western and would have no hesitation of staying there again friendly staff, good breakfast and clean rooms made the stay very pleasant. one of the better Best western hotels we stayed at during our USA road trip.

The room was very nice,clean and quiet. There were only 2 complaints- the toilet was too low and no handicapped lift in the pool. The breakfast was nice and the hotel was close to the freeway and to resteraunts.

This place was so accommodating and has everything a family needs when travelling through, like a pack an play, fold out bed, and extra blankets. they think of everything. It's even nice to know that if we have a dog with us he can stay too. Connie was so helpful at the food court and there was really a pretty amazing selection of food. It tasted extra good today. Thank you Connie.

Noisy neighbor, loud TV, barrage of profanity. Room booked online or would not have selected this property. Reported problem to Front Desk. Front Desk talked to person in "Noisy room", noise continued. Spoke to Front Desk again in the morning. No follow-through from Manager, which gave me the impression that they just don't care. Lots of motels in Yakima - pick someplace else.

Everything was great for our quick, overnight stay. Unfortunately, we arrived at 9:00 pm and my 14 year old son only had 30 minutes of pool time. It said 24 hours for pool, but that is only adults. It worked out fine though. Bed was a little hard, but the pillows and sheets were excellent. Good sized room with two beds and a sofa, fridge and microwave. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Easy check-in and check-out. Very conveniently located close to highway but it was not noisy. Rooms were pretty quiet, you could only hear people talking in the hall, which is typical of a hotel, but had a very quiet night. Breakfast was good, typical BW. I would stay here again.

Good hotel, no problems. Choice hotels are similar in quality but are lower priced. I booked this as all Choice hotels were fully booked 11 AM check out is too early and should be changed to 12 noon. Asked for and got a 12 noon check out

The hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable, staff is friendly. Location of hotel is close to interstate although in an older part of town. Restaurants are a short drive. Cost with discounts like AAA are fair. Breakfast was well prepared and presented well with reasonable assortment of food items.

The Best Western is the best! Consistently great service where ever I stay. The beds are always just right for a good night's sleep. The breakfast ambassador Connie is sure to see that you have a great breakfast.

Excellent location near the interstate. The hotel was very clean, the room was nice and well kept. The decor is dated, but nice. Breakfast in the morning was good. The scrambled eggs were fresh and hot. We will stay here again when we return to the area.

The two gals that cleaned my room, each did a lot of little things that added up to a lot. After a long day of training, it was so nice to come back to the room and see things how I left them, but neatly placed. Even the bed.The rest of the staff was really nice too. This is an older location. And yes, my room had a little of the old smell to it, but it quickly dissipated. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, but didn't have any issues. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressures and I had no problems with the internet. I would stay here again.

I don't usually eat breakfast and I'm not a fan of eggs.... Best hotel breakfast and scrambled eggs by far, better than Mom's!!! Everything was neat and clean and a huge variety of options. Even the juice dispenser did NOT have watered-down juices you normally get at a hotel breakfast. I would stay here again just for the breakfast, but the entire stay (just one night) was extremely pleasant!!

While on a short golf trip my wife and I stayed one night at the Best Western Plus Yakima. We had a top floor room (3rd floor) overlooking the RV Park. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Upon our arrival, we were met with a very friendly greeting by the front desk clerk and experienced a quick check-in process. I took advantage of the 24hr fitness facility which included one treadmill and one elliptical trainer. The facility was small but all equipment was in great working condition. Included in our rate was a hot breakfast which included the standard self-made waffles and pancakes, freshly made scrambled eggs, sausages, hot biscuits, gravy, assorted yogurts, toast/English muffins, and bagels. The complementary coffee was very good, hot, and not watered down or bitter. The express checkout was great. A copy of our receipt was slipped under our door so we checked out quickly and we were on our way without any fuss. We liked the hotel and will stay there again because of the value, simple amenities, convenience of its location, and good customer service.

The maids at this hotel are dishonest!!! I left my diamond stud earrings on the sink and "surprisingly" no one found them!!! I called as soon as I realized but got the run around for 3 phone calls. Finally when I spoke to the manager, Brian, he said no one turned them in and acted like I was lying about it. So mad!!! Also, this hotel is in a bad part of town, homeless people and druggies are constantly in front of the hotel. Didn't feel safe there.

We had an excellent stay this past weekend at the N First Best Western Plus in Yakima. We've always had good luck with the Pluses. No complaints. Eggs at breakfast were not wonderful, but if that's the only thing I can bring up, I'm fortunate.

Great value, new hotel very clean. Could have walked to food but we were there during the fires so opted to drive. Hotel has pool and hot tub but we did not use it. Elevator. Would stay here again. Breakfast was the normal BW including waffles

watch out better yet stay @ other hotels around Yakima Wa that will appreciate your money and business as this place will rob/steal u blind n not honor your reservation prices or any loyalty free upgrades with out U definitely digging deeper into ur pocket or a higher charge on ur credit card

Good breakfast- they had BACON... Also, biscuits and gravy, and dairy free option for my daughter. Clean room, great pool with a decent hot tub(a little small but we were the only people there, and not THAT expensive. A 24 hour pool for over 21 year old. It was right off the interstate, with an AWESOME motorcycle dealer across the road (Owen's cycle or something like that)

Nice clean motel close to freeway entrance into Yakima. Quiet rooms with garden outback. Good breakfast selection and plenty of tables Not too far from restaurants. Helpful staff were knowledgeable about local amenities.

While this isn't the best neighborhood around, it's also not a valid criteria to rate the hotel. They have no control over that. If you wanna whine, go to city hall. We don't come this way often anymore, so we just pick a place at random. We were on our last stop after a 43-day road trip, and I wouldn't have stayed here if there was an issue. We found the hotel to be clean, safe, and comfortable. Everything worked the way is was supposed to.

I had a room with an array of air handlers roaring away on the roof just outside my room's window. The view of a roof with air handlers was not very asthetic. The elevator smelled of mold. The entire building could use some refurbishment.

Easy access to the highway. Staff was professional and helpful. Close proximity to the Red Lobster Restaurant which was the reason we chose Yakima to begin with ! Would not hesitate to stay here again. it was an enjoyable visit.

This hotel is clean enough, and was safe for an overnight this time but the area is full of transient, homeless, druggies floating around. The strip it is on was once vibrant with restaurants, hotels and business's. This pretty nice hotel is now in the middle of a messy place. Again, we did not have a problem, but you want to lock your cars, hide the valuables and set the alarm. The pool did not appear very crispy clean, kind of greenish hue, same with the hot tub...both inside. We did not venture in.

When approaching this hotel, we were a bit put off by the surroundings, but once inside we were very pleased with our one night stay at this hotel. Beds were comfortable, room was large and clean. Our room overlooked a large camp ground, but there were no problems with noise at all. Very good breakfast with hot items. Breakfast was set up in a banquet room setting with plenty of room for guests. Very satisfied with our stay.

My daughter and I were traveling from southern Illinois to University of Washington in Seattle, this was the last night of our journey and by far the best hotel along the way. Thank you to the staff for making our stay enjoyable.

Wonderful, polite staff, Accomadated my early arrival as soon as they could and facilitated an early departure. Room was simple but very spacious, desk amenities great. Room was spotless and everything in top shape. Great and consistent value.

A good hotel, average value for money. They served fresh baked cookies as we were arriving. Kids liked the pool. Yakima is a nice little town. Breakfast was good... had everything that you may want. Extra couch in room, sink not part of the bathroom.

I would rate this hotel visually as "standard American highway lodging" and in certain places it showed its age, but the place was very clean, the beds were fine, the breakfast was fine if not outstanding. Staff were very friendly.

Stayed here recently for a business trip and I really enjoyed the hotel. Good access from the freeway, Lots of access to downtown and area eateries. The hotel was very clean, well staffed, it also has a great pool and hot tub, small gym and breakfast in the morning. The staff was helpful in guiding me around town. The price was in my business travel budget, my room was very good the bed was in great shape. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Yakima area. Nice job Best Western.

Absolutely great hotel for what you pay for. For under $100 you get a clean, spacious and silent room. Great breakfast buffet also. Beds were comfetable and staff is helpfull and friendly. We've had a great stay here.

Room was clean though it had a light smell of previous smoker even though it was a non-smoking room. Other than that, breakfast decent, staff courteous, and rate very good. Room was quiet even though close to highway.

Clean modern rooms and great full breakfast. Lots of selection. I would recommend highly. The lobby was very well decorated. Great first impression! Our furry travelling buddy was welcome there also, which was perfect!

We'd arrived here from just north of Missoula so the end of a pretty long day's drive. We'd also come in via the 'back door', opting to drive down the scenic Yakima Canyon road from Ellensburg rather than I-82. The check-in was friendly but what was really welcome were the leisure facilities and we made good use of these on the one night we stayed. There is a 10m pool and a decent size hot tub. The room was fine, usual BW standards, so no complaints there. The hotel is not in the most salubrious part of town, if there is one, but for one night it was fine. That said, it was close to the road leading into Mt Rainier NP the next day so you can't have everything I suppose :-/. Breakfast was good and set us up nicely for the day. There is also a self-service laundry service that we made good use of.

Good service, 24 hour pool for adults! Slept well nice beds. We had the two queen room. Staff was helpful upon check-in. Good breakfast, eggs bacon an waffles. Coffee around the clock. Best western for the win!

This hotel is conveniently located near I-82 and has great helpful staff. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We had issues with rooms being ready for guests. One had a toilet that did not work and another had very noisy A/C. In my opinion, both of these rooms should have been reported to maintenance by housekeeping to ensure guest readiness.

Although located along the highway, this hotel offers you a relaxing stay without being disturbed by the sound of traffic. We had a very large room equipped with all the stuff one might need. The room was clean, spacious and had a nice and comfortable bathroom. An excellent bed completed our stay. Breakfast as may be expected from this level of hotel.

We stayed at the Best Western on N. 1st. in Yakima at the beginning and end of a recent road trip. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Everything worked and was clean. Unfortunately, on the first night our room was right across the hall from the ice machine. The noise stopped around 11 pm and so was not serious. The second night, at the end of the trip, we were near some very rowdy people and we had to call the front desk. Eventually that was taken care of. Otherwise both stays were very pleasant.

We stayed there twice over 10 days. Our room, the facility, the staff and the breakfast were generally first-rate. However, when a large group of guests were loud and unruly in the middle of the night, they had no effective response. The young lady at the desk was all alone at that hour. She did her best but could do little. This locally-owned franchise has generally been diligent in attending to every detail. No doubt they will secure an adequate remedy, but until they do, we do not recommend the hotel.

The hotel is average for Best Western, probably doesn't deserve the Plus add-on. The room was clean, all the standard amenities, but the bath/shower needed some updating. The pool was clean and comfortable. The fitness center was a closet with very limited options. The provided breakfast was below the standard. The downtown Yakima core around the hotel was filled with homeless, drug deals, and 'street people'. I would recommend traveling a few extra miles outside Yakima to find a hotel.

Easy to find. Just a few blocks from our favorite Yakima, Wa restaurant, Gasparetti's located south of the hotel on N 1st. We meet friends there each trip through Yakima. We plan to stay here again on future travels through the area. BW Plus has the kinds of amenities we prefer at hotels. The breakfast is usually very adaptable to each of our needs. A bit more difficult for me these days as I must follow a very strict diet for my health. No eggs, no grains, so yogurt is good. No sugar and I can have an occasional cup of decaf coffee. While my husband can eat whatever he wants. It's all good.

Have stayed here in the past and continue to be happy with the experience. Free breakfast is great. Pool and hot tub are decent, as are rooms. Location of this hotel means you are close to freeway, but not in a position to walk around the area esp. at night--but that's anywhere anymore if you're in most downtowns.

Looking for a good location to start our wine tasting weekend, this worked but there was not much to do right around there. Cookies were awesome, breakfast was predictable. Overall a safe clean hotel.

I travel often for work and I have stayed at many Best Western Hotels in many states. I am highly impressed with the Yakima Best Western Plus Hotel on 1st street managed by Brian Morton. I want to recommend this hotel to everyone, as it is the best Hotel I have stayed at. I was taken care of by Jesse Will the night shift front desk clerk, who has the best customer service I have ever experienced, along with a kind smile, and was willing to go the extra mile for me to make sure I had a comfortable experience. Nice farming community, lots of eye stimulation. Nice hotel with big city prices. I may have had the smallest room in the hotel @ $195. The local prep ball team was staying there. I wonder what kind of rates they received.

Everything was top notch quality. Even the warm cookies in the evening. Room was very nice. Quiet. Exactly what we needed on the first leg of our trip. Everything worked. Ice machine and vending machines were about 10 steps away. Could not ask for anything more. Thank you very much.

This was a one night stop at the end of our 3 week road trip. The area around the hotel doesn't look like much but the hotel itself was very nice. From the very friendly staff to the nice, clean, large room and very good complimentary breakfast, it was an appreciated stay. Special recognition to Connie in the breakfast room. Our room was a king on the 1st floor located conveniently to the indoor pool and close to the ice machine and snacks. Very quiet inside with comfortable bed and pillows. There are a couple of restaurants just up the street.

The staff at this hotel gave excellent service. Even after I checked out and left something at the hotel - they went out of their way to get it back to me. Great customer service and very friendly attitudes. Also they made excellent suggestions on where to have dinner.

This BW property has a lot going for it. It's relatively new, the rooms are clean, quiet, and up to date. Stuff works. The staff is polite and helpful. There was no issue at all with my service dog. Breakfast was fairly typical of this tier -- scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, the usual dairy items. It was decent although one could do better at a regular restaurant. I stayed at this particular BW before and will again the next time I pass through Yakima and need a place to stay. It's not the least expensive hotel in the area, but I know what I'll get.

Stayed at the BW through a recommendation while attending a Hoops tournament in Yakima. The staff was excellent from check-in to the breakfast attendant. They promptly delivered a bedding set for the pullout, which came in a formal presentation. Very refreshing. The complimentary breakfast was very satisfying for myself and the basketball players. The rooms were comfortable and have recently been updated with Furniture, fixtures and bedding. The location was great, near the freeway and close to downtown. Easy access getting to all the gyms. Highly recommend.

This is a clean, pleasant property. It's not fancy, but the staff are outstanding. I was traveling with my husband, who has disabilities, and they went out of their way to help. The accessible room was well set up, and the automatic front door is a big plus with a wheelchair. I was most impressed with how everyone from the manager to the maintenance man provided assistance and caring.

Seems to be a low-income area... Mostly commercial. Drive a mile or so down through rows of motels and restaurants ( none I'd want to eat at ) and you'll find a Safeway - lots of one-way streets. This area needs a re-vamp!

Room was not clean when I checked in. I had to go to the front desk to get sheets and a blanket. The sheets were too small, and they only gave me one pillow case. At 10:00 PM the front desk manager knocked on every door on my floor, because someone reported smelling marijuana. Under new management, and the place has gone down hill. If you are looking for professionalism, look elsewhere. I checked into a different hotel the next two nights. Didn't even bother checking out or getting a refund.

Room was clean and quiet, breakfast was great and huge selection of items, great internet! Bed and pillows were very comfortable! I did not get a chance to use the spa or pool but they looked clean and inviting.
