Clean room, quiet room, air conditioner/heater worked, friendly staff, helpful staff, very good breakfast selections and plenty of food for everyone. Secure building after hours and plenty of free parking. Huge shopping center located nearby.

This should be considered a MOTEL instead. Needs remolding. Everything is old . Linen has stains on them. Room is dirty. Staffs are rude . This location gives BW a bad reputation. Room did not look like what was advertised on the website

We need extra padding on the bed for bad backs. Some other motels and hotels ignore our request or just leave some extra blankets on the bed. They made up the bed as we requested, and we appreciate that type of effort.

Hotel was fine except they changed there cancelation policy from day of arrival to 24hours before day of arrival. Since I drive this is not in my best interest so I will look for other hotels that allow cancelation up to day of arrival.

If I would've received the room that I booked it would have been great but instead I got a regular room with a microwave and a refrigerator and I think all the other rooms I booked was a regular room with the same things In them

we use this hotel for our fishing tournaments always good great location to restraunts and shopping as well close to the boat ramp. only down fall is no place to plug in our boat to charge up batteries after a day of fishing to get ready for next day

Charles Saint Germain YELLED at me just to turn out to be wrong. I prepaid on Priceline per usual and for the first time in all my years of prepaid bookings, he claimed the card was declined. I showed him on the website AND in my account that it wasn't true. All he did was shrug, so I asked him for documentation that shows I'm not staying here tonight so I can email it to Priceline and my bank for a refund/dispute. He yelled “I'M NOT GIVING YOU NOTHING!” I got on the phone with Priceline right in the lobby, and Charles disappeared. Priceline called the hotel and an emotionally stable employee checked me in immediately afterward. I'm leaving early tomorrow, taking pics/video before I leave, and I've never smoked in my life. I wouldn't stay here again if the price dropped to $1/night. Return my ridiculous $200 deposit immediately and good riddance.

August 12 to 13TH. My wife and I drove 6 hours to a surprise birthday party for her 90 year old grandmothers birthday. We are from Pennnsyvanina and for the record WE ARE NOT CIGARETTE SMOKERS!!! I HATE THE SMELL OF SMOKE. So my wife found this hotel and booked our room everything went fine we checked out 24 hours later and left the hotel around 9:30 AM. Then four hours into our drive back to PENNSYLVANIA. My wife gets a notification from her bank that this (BEST WESTERN HOTEL) charged her $400 on top of the security deposit they have not gave back to her. We were both VERY MAD seeing this $400 charge all the while waiting to get the security deposit back we called the hotel and they said we smoked in the room. ARE YOU SERIOUS WE DON'T SMOKE!! They are refusing to give my WIFE back the $400 they stole from her on top of the $200 SECURITY DEPOSIT. That should come back to her too GIVE MY WIFE BACK HER $600 ! Show less

After driving all day and running into unexpected traffic, it was clear I wouldn't be able to drive four more hours to my destination. I like to check out properties before I stay at them, but didn't have a chance to do that for this one. I was pleasantly surprised with how close to the interstate this was, the cleanliness and the super helpful staff - both at check-in and check-out. No need to make a killer drive in the future - I will make this a regular stop.

Everything was good and costumer service was good and got my refund the same day and it was cute seeing the duck towel on the bed smell clean and wasn't dirty everything was whip down I can rub my finger on

It was a nice hotel. The rooms were nothing fancy, but the sleep was nice / quiet; there was good space, and the staff were nice. WiFi worked well in the room and there's free parking. Breakfast was pretty good. There is a coffee machine (latte, espresso, etc) and waffle makers. The hotel's fake-eggs were icky, but that's sort of standard nowadays. The hotel isn't far from the highway. It's located near "everything" - a short drive to Potomac Mills, all the chain restaurants you can eat, Wegmans, Target, Walmart, etc. We would stay here again.

The hotel was great. The area is very nice lots to do and see. The hotel has made some really great upgrades to the rooms and lobby. The only little thing is they only give one key per room and would you know it me and my wife split up one evening...

Discriminated and miss treated. Tuesday morning 21 Mar was told that I needed to vacate the property for the safety of guest and staff. Checked in sunday morning 19 Mar and slept most of day and monday due to jetlag. (Flying in from Europe) Had no interaction with other guest and limited conversation with reception staff. Stayed at this facility numerous of times. Last time I complained against a receptionist because she was rude and spoke to me in Spanish. Not understanding I had spoken with the manager and thought everything was resolved hence this stay. I can only believe because of my previous complaint, being Asian, Retired Disabled Vet has labeled me a violent individual If I was threatening why was Law Enforcement not notified at the time and why was I allowed to remain in the facility for over 3 days. Disadvantaged of being non-Spanish, non-Latin individual.

This hotel is priced well for the stay. One of the best features. You can cancel for free up to 4pm on the DAY OF ARRIVAL. This is clearly a good benefit for travelers by car. Most hotels are now Cheating on Free Cancelation Policies.

Very pleasantly surprised, we were just passing through on our way south. The Hotel was more luxurious than I hoped, comfy bed & room, pleasant staff, good hot breakfast with a lot of variety. Highly recommended!

BW @Potomac mills on Jan. 3 check in 3:00am to Jan 3 check out 12:00pm. I authorized a charge for $90.03 (which was over priced to begin with for a half of a night or only a 9hr stay, but whatever, I was traveling and I needed to sleep for a few hours, so I authorized it and did enjoy me stay in a clean room. What I did NOT authorize was a 2nd charge of an extra $58.99 on the same date, same room, same hotel. According to BW, the extra charge was for checking out at 12:15p, says, front desk. I left my room at 12pm, packed my car, then drove car to front of building, and walked in to return key card, which by that time was about 15mins later at 12:15pm. Why am I arguing with a billion dollar company over 15mins, because 1. I didn't stay longer as accused. 2. If I give my banking info., and authorize you to charge 1 price, and allow you to hold $200 for damage security, and I sign to allow 90.03 to be withdrawn, and $200 to be held, withdrawn for any damages (which no one's accusing), then all your allowed to take from me is 90.03. How you're able to dip into my bank account and pull out a random dollar amount is unethical! 3. Seriously…you're gonna over charge me an extra 60% of the total cost of $90 for a booked 9hr stay, for an extra 15mins of time stayed?!!!…(alleged 15min extra time stayed). This company is a fraud and they commit frauds, is my only assumption. This is wrong and I left BW membership, I travel and stay at hotels every weekend and I will NOT be staying at BW ever again, unless my money is returned back to me.

Room was clean, kids loved the "towel origami." Body wash was empty, didn't find out until already in the shower. The only downside was that despite having a "menu" describing the offerings for breakfast the next day in the lobby, when we came down for breakfast, there was nothing except some cereal cups, fruit, and a few yogurts. The coffee machine was only offering hot water. There was no sign of explanation. We were leaving that morning, so we didn't bother to ask the front desk what happened, but it was annoying to have to take the kids to go find some place to have breakfast before getting on the road. They went out of their way to put the sign up the night before, it was odd there just wasn't any sign to say why there wasn't any breakfast. Otherwise, the stay was fine, but that left a negative feeling to the stay, and we will possibly look elsewhere if we have to be in that area again.

We used this hotel to spend one night as we were driving from Florida to NH. It was exactly what we needed for the occasion. The room was clean and the hotel was close to many restaurants. We would consider this hotel again.

Great amenities. Location was very convenient Awesome service from the staff. Will definitely be staying again whenever I am traveling within the are. Breakfast was great, not just a box of cereal. Well worth staying here.

Stayed here for one night. Check in / check out and room = good. Some noise outside my door, but not a deal breaker. Close to pretty much everything = good. Internet = good. Didn't go down for breakfast.

Our stay here was very pleasant, the staff in the lobby were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. They also had a little Keurig coffee pot in the room. The comfy bed was wonderful after traveling all day. The beds at Best Western's have never let me down. It's what I look forward at the end of the day. Great experience.

This is a great place to stay especially if you are traveling I95. It's directly off the exit. Also there is pretty much every possible store right there. I am considering driving back the 5 hours just to stay for fun in the future!

Pretty good hotel overall and a great overall value when factoring in the price compared to other hotels in the area. customer service at the front desk and breakfast were my main highlights in addition to the room being nice.

We recently did a trip across several states, and this is one of the hotels we stayed for the night. Overall it was a good stay: friendly staff, clean and well-equipped rooms, good location. The breakfast was also great, it had everything we needed and more than we expected for a complimentary breakfast. There were some items they ran out of quickly, and the water dispenser wasn't working properly, but it was not a big issue for us. My only major complaint was the noise in the rooms. We had a connecting room and at night we could hear everything happening on the other side. If it wasn't because we were really tired from the drive and fell quickly asleep, I don't know if we would be able to sleep at all.

This hotel needs some heavy duty renovations, the bathroom is very tiny with the sink outside the bathroom. The lighting is very dark. Our bathroom was rusty, dirty and we had nails coming through the bathroom door.

First off, my check in experience was amazing. The night manager that checked me in was really kind and the snacks they give reward members was awesome. Upon entering the room, the room was outdated. The carpet had burn holes in it, the bathroom was small. I could tell the room was cleaned at one point because the beds were made and all the towels were folded. However, in the bathroom there were long black hairs all over the floor. There was some trash in the corner by the ac. I work front desk at a different Best Western so I didn't want to complain. The next morning I went to get a shower and there was no shampoo, body wash or conditioner. I called the front desk to see if they could bring me some (were allowed to leave the desk at the hotel I work out but I am aware other Best Westerns have their own rules.) The lady that answered was rude about my call and told me I could come to the desk. I was fine with the 200 dollar hold, however I was under the impression the hold would be gone after I checked out. 200 is pretty excessive for outdated rooms.

My stay here was pretty enjoyable. I really like the pool. The rooms are outdated. If this were to be fixed my stay would've been a lot better. The location is very convenient to shopping and dining from all price ranges.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at this Best Western. We liked the hotel very much--from the comfortable bedding, cleanliness of the hotel and room, courteous and pleasant staff to the excellent buffet breakfast. Plus the hotel is convenient to all kinds of shopping at Potomac Mills. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

2 snacks of your choice at check in. Very,very clean! Quiet rooms! Good variety of breakfast food, eggs, meat,waffles,potatoes,toast,muffins,danish,fresh cut up fruit,cereal,oatmeal and apples. Cleaners knocked and asked if we needed any cleaning done or any supplies. Friendly and helpful staff!

We only needed an overnight stay and choose this a list on the internet for the proximity to where we had to be and the price. Always risky choosing blindly. We were not disappointed. The check in and check out were easy. The room was clean and comfortable. I cannot speak to other accommodations that we didn't take advantage of, but I would recommend. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and they have WAFFLES!

This is a top rate Best western with some special amenities. Staff is always friendly and professional. Manager is always available at the hotel watching over the staff. It is very clean and has extras at breakfast like a latte and fresh yogurt. It is the special little extras

Excellent front desk staff especially Dominique, most rooms are renovated and very nice. Location is excellent for anywhere you want to go in Woodbridge. Breakfast is good, waffles are great. I could do without the $200 hold fee though, it's a bit excessive in my opinion.

This is in a great location with good shopping and restaurants nearby. The interstate is close too, so access is good. Very friendly staff, nice amenities, clean rooms an free breakfast, free parking and free WiFi, making it a good value. Love the bed too....very comfortable.

Was not aware of the $200.00 deposit for two nights before we arrived. Was greeted with pretty much "look it up" attitude. Asked for assistance the next day was refused then helped after. Positives, good hot breakfast close to a lot.

It was a good hotel but I didn't appreciate the $200 holding fee as a “cleaning deposit”. They took the $200 as well as the 2 night stay out of my account! They did return the $200 though. I just find that kind of odd…

Was in town for a dance competition. I booked this room for my 19 year old daughter and friend to stay since there were no vacancies at our hotel. We CALLED BEFORE BOOKING to verify the minimum age to check in as we know that some hotels are 18 and some are 21. We were told 18. However, when she got there, she was refused the ability to check in. The competition concluded extremely late that night and I was already on my way in the opposite direction...but was FORCED to turn around and go to this hotel just to check into the room. The front desk clerk was RUDE and SNAPPY. We will NEVER use this hotel again and plan to tell ALL of our fellow dance families to do the same.

Check in was a nightmare and disorganized. The hallways had a musty smell. There were dirty washcloths hanging in the shower from previous guests and the shampoo and body wash dispensers were empty in the shower. No one would answer the front desk and to top it off there was a protruding rusty screw in the bathroom sticking out of the wall... Do not recommend staying here at all!

Excellent hotel excellent customer service hotel was very clean the rooms were very nice the hotel smelled it very well all the staff was just excellent never any problems whatsoever. Breakfast was outstanding plenty of radited cheese from even the coffee was good.

Had problems with checking in, it was in the middle of the night and im in a hurry as I am with an uber driver. Couldnt book on line so checked in person but prices are higher in person than online. So tired and sleepy and front desk was just totally doesnt care. after 15 mins finally I booked through expedia. I booked 2 nights but I was out the next day to visit someone, I couldnt bring all my 4 suitcase so I just left it there because I still have one night. Came back again the next following day to pick up my stuffs at 11am and check out. But when I get to my room, my keys are already deactivated. It says check out is 12, why would you deactivate the keys at 11? called front desk and she said I needed to go down again from 7th floor to reactivate my keys.. It wasn't a great experience for me.

The staff were very nice and the hotel very clean. There are several small shopping centers right next to or across the street from this hotel. The room cost was very reasonable. Hotel is one half hour outside of Washington DC. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel while attending a graduation ceremony at American University.

We went to this Best Western (with the most affordable room-by the way) to see a concert nearby. We were surprised at the location being near everything and could have walked to our venue. We were able to meet Edgar for a moment, very efficient and nice. Breakfast was back to fully functioning as compared with other hotels. It provided a place for staying safe and was very good. They offer a monthly drawing for prizes, however; we did not find the comment cards to enter with. We will be back.

Great place to stay for the night. Its right by a strip mall so we had plenty of places to pick from when it was time to eat. Rooms were clean and staff friendly and helpful. If I had to pick something bad I would say the breakfast was skimpy. I would stay there again.

Just stayed at Best Western a liked everything about it. Super hot water, good heat, rock star parking, great coffee and super great breakfast! (although no eggs) The front desk was efficient and I saw people everywhere working hard. My room was quiet, the beds comfortable with new foam mattresses, lots of pillows, an extra blanket, and a commercial hair blow dryer that dried your hair in minutes. Also, super affordable, across the street from the Hylton Memorial Chapel venue where I was attending and super safe. What could have been better? Could have better lighting in the rooms. Yup, I plan to go back.

Good location off the interstate, but rude non existent staff. When we arrived, no one was at the desk and we had to wait for someone to appear from the back. The room was just ok, but sheets were stained and not enough towels. They must be short staffed or something, because the poor girl at the desk looked exhausted. I went to speak with the manager at check out and was told he wasn't available. I left my phone number and email, but haven't heard from him at all. It had been 2 weeks since I checked out. They must obviously not care or have the time to listen to their guests. In the future, I will probably stay at another hotel in the area who cares about their guests.

The hotel was not great at all. First of all, the hotel requires you to put a $200.00 deposit when you check in. The bed linen was old, the sheets were not crisp. I requested a high floor, away from the elevator and my request was not honored. I am very surprised at the overall rating.

I use love coming to bestwestern for vacation stay unfortunately this was one of worst experience I've ever experienced i was overly charged for my deposit was supposed to be 200.00 dollar i was accidently charge 400.00 dollar and management has fail to fix this problem and it beyond frustrating

Will stay again fot sure. Loved the location, and the staff were so nice, 100% recomended. Around the hotel you'll find the best restaurants and all kind of stores ans malls, wow perfect My family was so satisfied too. We went visit DC, 30 to 40 minutes from hotel.

Theres always a category in which people of race(S) are given a room. I wanted to be extra comfortable with my short STAY based on my Age. Rates should REDUCED according too late check in and ckeck out.

This hotel is one of the best in Woodbridge. And the cost is also the best. The rooms were fit for royalty. This hotel knows how to make guests feel special. The breakfast is full and inclusive. The internet was fast. And this place was spotless. Very inviting hotel.

Overall, the hotel is like any other hotel in it's class. I try to stay at this Best Western, due to the location (Mall, Access to the highway, close to my daughter, etc). I come in from St. Louis to Woodbridge, and no matter what the rate is have enjoyed my stay here. But, I found out on the last trip, they charge an extra $200 bucks (on top of your hotel cost). The clerk at the desk stated that I should see a refund of the $200 once I checked out. It's been 2 days. And the only thing the hotel can say is "Not our fault, it's your bank." This shows alot of bad things about this hotel, but in the end, what kind of clientele does t his hotel have around. You can't punish customers, due to the couple of bad customers you previously had! The customers will be fine with paying other hotels in the area (an additional amount) then having to pay $200 (on hold) until who knows when the money will be given back. If you cleaned the rooms on a regular bases, your housekeeping department should be able to let you know what room has the weed coming from it or whatever problems you maybe having at this hotel. Otherwise, this looks like a money grab. Think about it 100 guests (staying for a weekend) times $200= $20,000 dollars in an escort account for the hotel. May not seem like much, but do that over 52 weekends.

In need of updating rooms, staff is not friendly. Breakfast is a "grab-n-go" apple, muffin of their choice and a granola bar due to COVID yet the coffee stations are unattended, unkept and cups, lids, straws and utensils are out wide open for anyone to touch ..............??

Overall, this is a very fine place to stay. The cost is lower than other close-by properties and the amenities are just as good for about 20% less. The hotel is close to about anything you could want, food wise.

Nice sized room but decor tired and fridge so noisy we had to unplug it! Hotel in an iffy neighborhood--right next to a run down mall. Don't book room through a 3rd party as the hotel manager refused to give us points in their Best Western Rewards program. Other Best Western hotels have given us points!

Ok called hotel Lurton Va they said do reserv. On line. I did it and it said call customer serv. Called them no reservation seen we do another. I look at iPad says I have 2 charged to AE, ok I call customer serv. again we cancel one I did online. I have to change address on file as they have my summer one? Another person. So, I drive 9hrs. check in and go to room w/take out. Light beside bed is burnt out. No sm. bottles of shampoo etc. now in dispensers in tub. it is empty. I leave tip b/c she made a swan out of towel.LOL. I check out for auto train and ask about grab and go as no breakfasts but paying full price since last July trip. Front desk says that stops at 9? No one told me that... I said really? They do t feed u on the train anymore since b4 COVID and overbite trip. Price still the same there too. I got a bag apple and granola....I go b/c BW has staff and I feel safe. Super 8 my car was broken in to and all GC stolen.

The room was filthy with old wash clothes and stained bedspread. It clearly had not been cleaned. After complaining the front desk did not care. I requested items and they ignored my requests. Overall bad place

Stayed there for a couple nights. The place is overall decent and taken care of for service. I've stayed here before and had a better room than the one I was put into. There was some construction happening on our floor and the place was mostly empty. Not sure why we weren't put on a floor that didnt have work being done.

Best Western in Woodbridge is one of the best hotels in the area! Not only is the location great but the staff are extremely friendly! The rooms were clean and the breakfast were great ! We felt comfortable in our room and it felt like home !

This is by far the worst hotel I've stayed at in a very long time. There were dirty sheets and towels in the hallways, music blaring all night. The hallways and elevators smelled of weed. The front door of the room had about a 3 inch gap from the bottom of the door to the floor, so much so that you could see the light from the hallway and the smell of weed crept right into the room. The front desk staff did absolutely nothing. The hallway still had the same pile of dirty sheets and towels when I left.

dirty used towl hanging in bathroom so room was not cleaned well no breakfast no pool even though both were online and on there website it takes just a few minutes to update those no notices at the hotel and the hotel doesn't care they charged me two times and acted like they were doing me a favor by refunding me

This hotel is extremely reasonably priced and the rooms are clean and pretty spacious. It includes a continental breakfast and is in a good location right next to a variety of restaurants and the mall. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good value.

Stayed here overnight to be close to the Amtrak auto train. Very nice room with NO carpet which is huge to me. Good breakfast choices and quality in the morning. Went to Wegmans to get some foods to take on the train. Did a little shopping at IKEA which is right out the door of the hotel. Best hotel for the very reasonable price. Would definitely stay here again.

I needed a local hotel close to where my mom lived so I could stay over the weekend to help her with a task she needed done. Best Western was easy to get in and out of, close to plenty of restaurants and very comfortable to stay in. The room was really clean, and the bed was super comfy. Usually there's some elvel of discomfort at hotels, but not in this room! Breakfast was actually good, too. If I need to stay in the area again, I will definitely choose Best Western.

Never know about Best Westrrn, but this is a no ce clean hotel, updated rooms, right off the highway. Good free breakfast. Plenty of food options nearby. Bathroom/shower was a bit small, otherwise very nice.

We were there for the birth of our first Grandbaby. The hotel was less than a mile from the hospital. That was perfect . Centrally located with several restaurants to choose from. It is a great location .

We were expecting a different location for our Woodbridge stay, but to my surprise this worked out great. As a Diamond member for Best Western, I am here to tell you that this is close to Potomac Mills and walking distance to a great Chinese Buffet :) I was amazed at the restaurant choices right by the hotel. Easy on/off I-95. Rooms were to our liking. Breakfast could have been a little more vegan friendly. Staff was helpful. Overall, nice little stay.

Please go to other hotel. I booked 2 night on Expedia. When I got to the hotel the asked me for a 100 dollars deposit, my card was charged and they never returned my credit of 100. The hotel desk people didn't know how to return it. Finally they give me a release form that I had to present in my bank. If you book online on Expedia they will ask for a deposit. Very unpolit staff and the room shower had a dispenser for shampoo that didn't work. Terrible hotel. I do not recommended at all. Very rude people. There are better hotels in the Woodbridge area.

This is by far the worst hotel stay I've had. The hotel staff is cold, the floors stunk with cigarette smell even though they insisted the hotel was smoke free. The HVAC too noisy, the TV is to cloudy NO HD it felt like I was in the 80s. The mattress is so old and in need of replacing. Just awful.... Never again here and never again Beat Western it should be named Worst Western.

Stayed Tuesday December 3rd. To take the auto train. Great stay. Very good accommodations, very clean room and lobby. The best breakfast selection I have ever seen. I will recommend this BW to everyone.

We redeemed our free one night voucher here. Motel was very easy to find, it's right off the exit ramp. Very nice appearance on the outside. Lobby was very clean, with a modern look. The room was very clean and spacious. No carpeting. Loved that feature. Bed had a firm but not to firm mattress. It was really a much nicer room than I expected. We stayed Nov. 28th. They had several groups there but it was quiet and even though the breakfast room was crowded they didn't run out of food and everything went smoothly. We really wanted to be closer to D.C. However because it was so nice here we're glad we did. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. If all Best Western's are like this one, it will become our motell of choice.

Pros: Decent breakfast with nice size dining area. Breakfast drinks, coffee & hot chocolate was available all day & night. Room was clean. Bathroom was as well. Hotel was quiet. Not a lot of guest movement & noise. The young man working the front desk was very nice & professional. Cons: The hotel is a little dated. The television was so cloudy. Apparently not HD. The heating system was very loud & irritating. It was naking some type of noise. There's no microwave nor refrigerator in the room (You have to request it). We did priceline & was fully aware of the policy. However we've never had an issue with getting a King size bed upon check-in. The policy states based on availability. However the supervisor said they would only do it for an additional 50.00 per night. Really ridiculous. Given the fact they weren't overbooked. And I'm positive they had Kings available. He showed no interest in trying to accomodate us, as guest at all. I was advised to speak with the general manager Charles, but he was not available when we arrived. Overall this did not make for the most pleasurable stay. And I would more than likely never stay here again. Nor would I recommend it to a family member or friend. I'm all about great customer service.

This hotel has become our "go to" hotel when traveling in the DC area. This is the second review I've posted and I have already booked another night next month! I cannot stress enough how fantastic it is to stay at this hotel. Both of our previous stays we were given king rooms, at the end of the hall. It is a quiet hotel, but each morning we've gone to breakfast we were surprised that the hotel was FULL of people! You just don't hear anything when you are in your room; it is amazing. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the hotel is conveniently located just off I-95 and Potomac Mills mall. There are plenty of food options in the area. The rooms are well appointed, clean and the breakfast is really above and beyond expectations. I am looking forward to my pending stay next month!

This hotel was great from the start. A quick check in and lots of free snacks to boot. The desk attendant was very helpful and our special requests were granted. The room was nice and they had a nice welcome bag in the room. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. They really try here to keep you business. The breakfast was great with lots of selections and the food was good.

I have stayed here before and went away satisfied again. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. Great hot breakfast in the morning with lots of options to chose from. The rooms are very quiet and provide a great nights sleep. Navigating to here is the only issue i had but not a deal breaker.

Stayed here for 8 days for a family party and sightseeing in Washington Lovely view across to a church and fields Room was clean and pleasant Occasional noise from road early morning but nothing over weekend Breakfast was very good and varied everyday. Fresh chopped fruit , bread, muffins, cereal, as well as great hot choices . Constantly being topped up by the lovely ladies who were working hard to keep everything perfect, couldn't fault it at all. Opened up extra dining area if it got busy Shops and restaurants all around area Would recommend staying here

A home away from home completely satisfying,you can get juice & yogurt all day& night, the hotel is in close distance to the mall. very large dining area,i used the business center located in the lobby area.

The staff is friendly. The room was clean and a generous size with a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows! Breakfast was delicious- a full buffet of both hot and cold choices! The lobby was inviting.

We stayed at this hotel a 2nd time around already so that alone days ALOT! It is very clean and even smells very clean! It has an outdoor pool and FREE hot breakfast buffet which has a variety of delicious choices! I think my only negative comment would be that the bathroom is outdated. The shower curtain doesn't provide much coverage so the floor is soaked wet when we took showers. Other than that, I will definitely be returning :-)

We stay at this property when we come to the area which is two or three times a year. It is close to our family and convenient for car rental and train station.We always have been happy with our stay the only negative has been that the room keys always need to be renewed each day and we are very careful about not putting them close to electronics or phones.

My teenage children were driving back from NC to NJ when their car broke down on Rte. 95 near Woodbridge, VA and they needed to stay overnight in order to wait for the car to be fixed. I went online and found the Best Western Potomac Mills and made a reservation for them online. I then called the hotel and asked if I could pay for their room with my credit card over the phone. The clerk told me he would have to email me a form to fill out and I would need to email him back a picture of my credit card and driver's license in order for him to process payment. Form looked like a standard form (I worked in the hotel industry years ago so I'm familiar with them) so I didn't think much of it. Now two days later I get a call from my credit card company asking about suspected fraudulent charges and of course the first one was in the very same town as the hotel and the next one was in an adjoining town. Had to cancel card. I'm livid! You should be able to trust a hotel employee not to steal your credit card number. Hope he gets fired!

We always stay at this property in our travels in this area. The location is great. Staff is friendly and professional. Hotel has a homey feel, I love the fresh flowers.Rooms are always clean. Breakfast is great: pancakes, waffles, eggs,fresh yogurt machine and a Folgers coffee machine that makes lattes. Who could ask for anything more ?

My husband thought this was an outdoor hotel, because the one's down south are, but it was not. Great hotel breakfast included in the price and the location is around everything. I would recommend this hotel.

I was looking for a hotel in DC area that would drive me away from the chaotic city center, and this was ideal for a night layover. The breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. We did have a small problem in the first room that was provided to us, but it all got sorted in a quick phone call to the reception, so I have nothing to complain.

I had 4 reservations, no confirmation email had to call was over charged they did apologize & refunded me for what I had paid extra. However I feel more should've been done.. I spoke with 4 different workers b4 anything was done..No microwave or fridge wasnt told I had to request them.. Breakfast was nasty..

I stayed on a Sunday night so there were no crowds. The check-in was great since as a BW rewards member I got to select a few free snacks. The room was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast had adequate seating and a large selection of options and the coffee was GOOD. Road noise was noticeable so ask for a room on the side away from the road where it should be a little quieter.

I stayed here the week following July 4. I rely heavily on reviews and try not to focus on the bad ones too much because I understand people have different taste, I felt the need to definitely disclose my experience. I guess I'm picky because I always select Hilton hotels when traveling and I have an expectation of great accommodations. The rooms were clean but too small for my taste. We did not get breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The hotel has definitely seen better days. For the price, I probably was expecting too much, but the bathroom was terribly tiny. There was a smell in our room that I cannot explain, but it wasn't the best. It was like an industrial cleaner smell that hadn't quite disappeared by the time we checked in. My husband wanted to leave but I couldn't get a refund so we tried to make the best of it. There was no fridge or microwave in either room, which I thought was standard for hotels but I guessed wrong. We stayed two nights, renting two adjoining rooms and the toilet in our room ran all night long. I had to close the bathroom door to drown the sound. We didn't want to complain because the front desk staff was so nice and the hotel was not the worst and that's why I gave it 4 stars. On the day of checkout, which was at noon, housekeeping started tapping on our doors at 9am. They came back 7 times asking if we were ready to checkout. On the day of checkout, maintenance decided that since we were not answering the door, he would help himself in with his key. My daughter and her best friend were in the second adjoining room getting dressed and it scared them to death. We normally engage the security lock, so maintenance was unable to get in the room, but he was able to partially open the door. I was terribly upset. Number one because checkout was at noon, and there was no reason for housekeeping to begin bothering us in our sleep. They kept coming back every half hour. We just decided to get up and gather ourselves for checkout. Secondly because maintenance had no reason to enter the room, especially since we were checking out at noon and we had not put in a request for service during our stay. I went down to the front desk as we checked out and told them about housekeeping and maintenance. I let them know I was not satisfied and would recommend they speak to staff about consideration for their guests. Needless to say, I absolutely will be selecting Hilton from now on. We were on a tighter than usual budget and I had to rent two rooms, so I tried to find something within our budget. And let me say that what bothered me may not bother someone else, so I do not want to discourage anyone from staying there. But I know what I like and this just wasn't it, for a few reasons.

I always try and stay at this hotel. Depending on your rate, this is a great hotel. The location is great. You have Potomac Mills Mall, Wal Mart, eaties, Target, and etc within 2 mins. My young daughter lives in the area, I think this hotel location.

Hotel room was nice and cleaned with pleasant/friendly staff. The room was always cleaned and refreshed when we returned from our outing of visiting DC! Breakfast was ready and on point! Beyond a continental breakfast! There waffles are delicious!

Have started staying exclusively at Best Western in our travels and this hotel exemplifies why - although they were doing some construction upgrades on the outside, the building itself was well-maintained and clean with a very large breakfast area. Its location must be popular, as we returned from our dining and shopping evening to find the place overrun by school age safety patrol groups - I counted 9 tour buses in the parking lot - but once we were in our room, we did not hear a thing. Breakfast was great, more options than I have ever seen in a BW. Amber at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Loved the room we were given - clean, large and nicely decorated.

Overall a nice hotel. Room was clean. The best free breakfast bar I have seen. Outside construction took away from the look of the hotel but inside was fine. Iwould definitely stay there again. My daughter and I stayed in 1 double queen bed on 7th floor. Quiet, able to sleep well. Checkout was so quick, just turned in key and left. Check in was very quick too. I loved that I didn't have to find a fast food place before dance competition, just went down and ate then back up to room to get her ready. Saved slot of time.

The hotel was very easy to get to. Kt was about two turns off of the highway. It was close to all the malls and restaurants. The pool is in the back for privacy. The breakfast was outstanding. Just me, it was a little pricey but it was okay.

Very kind caring staff. could have been quicker in some things. Someone in the room next to ours had left their alarm on and it kept going off at 9:30 PM. Took stakk over an hour to turn it off both times.

This property is under construction and it needs it! Inside and out the property is not up to par. Guest rooms are at best motel quality. The low price should have been a warning but the property should have a notice letting guests know the status before making a reservation.

The individual who checked me in started off without acknowledging me other than saying "ID and credit card": no Hello, absolutely no smile, very unpleasant. I had trouble finding the credit card which the room was reserved on and he refused to work with me. I did find it eventually, he had no sympathy or kindness. The room had a terrible odor masking device on the window, and I could not breathe until it was taken down. Then there were hundreds of high school students there for breakfast. Crazy. From check in to leaving this pace was disturbing.

The hotel was doing construction, they should've given a discount due to that. Our room was right outside of the vending machine, ice machine and elevator, so that was noisy all through out the night. My card had so many fees and holds that weren't mentioned upon check in, besides the $50 deposit that turned out to be more than that, after confirming with my bank. The tv was so dark you could barely see anything. The towels where semi dry leaving behind that moist wet feeling. I would not recommend or stay here again.

We booked this stay while on the road traveling back to NY. It was clean and covered all the basics of a nice stay. We were worried when we felt how soft the beds were, but my mother and I both slept straight through the night. It was excellent. Breakfast had all the options, including pre-made omeletes, fruit stuffed crepes, tiny cakes, bacon, and pastries.

Was grateful that was in a seemingly safe part of town as I was traveling alone. Huge shopping mall nearby, everything within easy distance. Bed was extremely comfortable which is important to me as I have a bad back.

I chose this hotel because of all of the great reviews and I was not let down. We had 3 rooms with 7 people. Every room was very clean and cozy. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend this location.

This is an exceptionally nice BW and the breakfast in the morning is better than you could get in a restaurant. None of the powdered eggs, greasy bacon and grey sausage. Fresh fruit, pastries, meats etc. GREAT

Great option for passing through or going to shop. We have stayed at this location often over the past 25 years when we are traveling on 95. The area has built up and has many places to dine. It has wal-mart that is convenient to get to also.

Hotel staff is always welcoming and professional. We love the new floors and updates, and the rooms are always clean. The breakfast has everything: pancakes, waffles, egg dishes, fresh yogurt machine and a wonderful coffee/latte machine. There is ample parking and restaurants in walking distance. Our favorite when traveling in the area.

We certainly had not had good experiences with hotels lately. We traveled from NC with a toddler up to Virginia to visit relatives. We were very anxious about the hotel we would be staying in. As I mentioned we had not had good experiences with hotels previously. I was very impressed with Best Western though when we pulled up I just prayed this wasn't a bad hotel. Nonetheless, I was checked in quickly, I mean it was like 2 am. It was cold and we were completely exhausted. The room was so welcoming and relaxing. I could tell so much effort went into making this room appealing to visitors. The room smelled clean and was clean. I was so amazed. We slept so good and it was so amazing. Then they had breakfast from like 6am-9am, I believe. My son was definitely happy and he is a picky eater so that speaks volumes. I definitely encourage people to stay at this hotel. Room was lovely. Towels arranged beautifully. Beds comfy. Best Western Rewards program a very nice touch. Breakfast buffet wonderful with lots of options (options I had never even seen before in any other hotel). The only issue was the air conditioner. The temp settings went from 59 degrees to 70 degrees with no numbers in between. Too late in evening to bother with maintenance personnel, so didn't call anyone. Wasn't sure how that was going to be for sleeping, but it turned out OK (left it on 59). I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Real convenient to I-95, too! I will make sure to try other Best Westerns also because of my wonderful experience here. P.S., we booked thru Hotels.com

Very impressed with the quality of the room. However, the 1 of the 2 elevators were out of order in the morning during breakfast and check out time. That was a little inconvenient to take stairs. Otherwise, I would stay here again.

I chose to stay here because of good reviews i saw online but when I got there I found the room was not clean. I found pubic hair on toilet. When I checked out I found out that they charged my card $150 smoking fee.

I knew that young dance students would be performing in town and I also knew they would be noisy. I asked for a room away from children, vending, elevators, ice. They put me on the 7th floor which was nice of them. The room I had was a bit shabbier than the other rooms in this hotel so I can only assume that it will be getting an update soon. Nothing we couldn't deal with but a few things that can be improved upon and I mentioned to them previously to management. I do have a difficult time sleeping due to the smell of the linens-it's the detergent and fabric softener they use that gives me a problem. The crew at the desk were very friendly and I enjoyed working with them. The 7th floor was not noisy but when the elevator stopped at the 6th floor the next morning, the noise was tremendous. When are parents and coaches going to realize that just because they have to get up and go to breakfast early or leave early that doesn't mean that everyone does. Be polite and teach your kids and students to be polite. There should be no talking in the hallways or at the elevators. Save talking and laughing and carrying on for the lobby or when exiting. This is not the hotel's responsibility-it's the parents and coaches! Rudeness should not be tolerated but like usual the adults are worse than the kids sometimes.

They are remodeling the rooms since I stayed there last. . The staff was helpful and cared about my stay and asked about things I was going to need while I stayed at Woodbridge Virginia . Nice touches.

I have stayed at this hotel a total of 5 times, and I have had good experiences each time. The cost of the room for what you get is a bargain.Most nice hotels in this area are far more expensive. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. The breakfast that they offer is 1st class.. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our room was wonderful, very clean! Breakfast was fantastic, many options to choose from. The food was hot and delicious. If you are a rewards member you get to choose 3 free items. Might not seem like alot, but after a long day driving I choose the free Starbusk botteled drink and 2 free snacks!

We stayed here the first weekend in Feb. 2019. There was 3 of us in a room with 2 queen size beds. Plenty of towels for the three of us . Refrigerator and microwave in room. TV was good size altho we never turned it on. Shower pressure was great and didn't run out of hot water. We also had breakfast included. That was a nice deal. Hot foods and plenty of selection.. ample seating in dining area. This motel was very clean. One of the nicer places we have stayed for the amount that we paid. If i ever come back this way again I would certainly stay here again.

We had a king room on the third floor and it was at the end of a very quiet hall. We were shocked to discover the next morning at breakfast that the hotel had hosted two very large groups of middle school aged kids over night, as well. The hotel did a wonderful job of keeping "regular" guests away from the kids and any noise they might make. Our room was well appointed and had two vanities and sinks, which was very convenient. The weather was very cold, but the two heaters in the room kept things toasty warm. An extra blanket for the bed would have been nice, but that is my personal choice and my husband would disagree. The mattress was firm, but incredibly comfortable. I am usually a back sleeper, but I slept much of the night on my side without any of the usual pain in my hips. Breakfast the next morning offered many options. However, the staff had gone the "extra mile" and garnished all the hot dishes with slices of onion and red pepper. Unfortunately, I am allergic to onion and my husband hates it. It doesn't feel right to complain about something that someone tried to do to make it "nice" for guests, but it is worth mentioning because we were unable to eat any of the hot dishes (eggs, potatoes, breakfast sandwiches, and bacon). It all had slices of onion and red peppers over the top. There was plenty of seating to eat breakfast and the staff manning the breakfast were making rounds and refilling items. The staff was friendly.

Super friendly staff at check in. My room was amazing! There was even a towel swan on the bed. Close to lots of shopping and restaurants. The best part of the entire stay though was how fast the elevator was. Thank You!

Stayed 1 night prior to boarding the Autotrain to Florida. Check in was terrific. The room was spacious and clean (except for the ice bucket which had been overlooked by housekeeping.) The breakfast was the best of any motel in which we have stayed. Selection was super. Will definitely stay here each time we are in the area.

We had a great one night stay at this hotel. Clean, friendly service, great breakfast. However, I feel compelled to report this incident. My sister asked for a shower cap at the front desk and the front desk specialist on duty that evening apparently did not find a shower cap, and at that time produced a plastic bag and offered the suggestion that she use this bag over her head. Perhaps this was a well-intended suggestion, but it left me unsettled, so I asked the following morning if there were shower caps available at the front desk, and at that time, the front desk specialist who was on duty immediately produced one... Suggestion here is to please be mindful of what one is suggesting to a guest, who, in this case, happens to walk with a cane and have mobility issues. Thank you.

Although the staff was pleasant, this hotel desperately needs a facelift! One of the people in our group opened his door and found no bed in the room! Lots of upgrades needed. This is happening in half the hotel-just not our half!

The hotel is very well located for shopping, restaurants, and easy access on and off the highway. It's clean and well maintained. Ample parking and very quiet. Front desk staff was friendly and provided area directions.

I usually do not give chain hotels 5 stars, but these folks deserve this. Everything was just great, all the way from the big TV to the jar(!) of mints left in the room. Typical Best Western breakfast, but they had 3 waffle makers. Good management show.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in! From the moment we walked in we had such a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the lifeguard at the pool who went above and beyond to make sure my little girl had lots of fun with what I'm sure was every pool toy and floaty they have! The front desk employees answered all of my questions, the room was clean and even smelled lovely. Even the hallways and elevators were clean and pretty. The best thing about this hotel though, was the breakfast! Unbelievable! Hot foods like eggs, bacon, waffles and potatoes were wonderful and the selection of other breakfast goodies was impressive. Well done, Best Western! We may have to make this a part of our trip every year!

Stayed at this hotel mostly due to location. Check in went smoothly. Pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. The a/c was a little noisy but that's not unusual for hotel rooms. Although I always bring my own, I liked the fact that body wash, shampoo and conditioner was provided and contained within the shower. I also loved the hand soap container in the bathroom. Big plus. Didn't have that at Mandarin Oriental. Bed was comfortable.Breakfast was great and the area was always kept clean. Staff were always pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was very nice for the price was located near lots of shopping and food places. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area. The staff was friendly and it was very quiet in the hotel. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast this time but definitely will on future trips. The beds were very comfortable and the room was nice and clean.

I went to this hotel because i love best westerns and never had a bad night till last night. I am traveling from ny to florida and we stopped here at 230 am looked up the price on trip advisor and went inside. The guy behind the desk who has only been there for 6 days 5 was training so first night(all by himself) says i cant help you you have to book online . So go back out to my car where and book it well because it was 230 am it said the 20th to 21st the 19th was grey out so i book it and go back in he says sorry norhing we can do it was for the next day!!!! Then goes and tella us the couple before us had same issue and they fixed it but too 45 min . So he calls supervisor and tells us what supervispr told him and said he would get fired next day if he did it. So tells us after traveling all day into the night if we wait till after 3 for him to do night adit he will do it but going to take 45 min . Well we are exhausted now so we wait a hour later he gives us a room so 415 we only got to sleep till 9 bec have to be in florida so paid 93.00 for 4 hours then goes in tells us to call customer service if we dont like it. Not very happy at all 93.00 wasted today spent a hour on phone with custome service and got all the way to supervisor and says we will call u back qith in two days with what we are going to do . Well guess what i need a new hotel of choice .

Was really impressed with the location, service and great Breakfast. Coffee options varied and juice and water available 24/7 at no cost which was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were clean and beds were extremely comfortable.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay here while on vacation visiting Washington DC! Great location and a great value for the money. Would highly recommend this hotel to those traveling and looking for a good hotel in the Washington D.C. area.

I was very pleased with this hotel. The breakfast was good, the room was clean and spacious. The location was good in respect to the DC area. I would for sure stay at this hotel again if I ever come back to the area.

We had a great time while staying at this motel the amenities were good . sorry could not report on use of the swimming pool as it rained everyday of our stay. The employees were helpful and courteous.

We have been here multiple times, and always return . The staff is very nice, the room is clean and the bed is comfortable. It is quiet and there is a large variety of breakfast items to choose from. We look forward to coming when we travel.

Our family of four booked five nights in the hotel because the price was $75 per night and included a wonderful free breakfast that changed a little bit every day. They had so many options (more than I have ever seen at any hotel). The hotel should be very proud of the breakfast. There was plenty of room to sit at tables and they even opened up a nearby room if overflow became a problem. The ladies who put the food out were very good at cleaning up and closing at 9 a.m. sharp. That is the only thing our sleepy family wished would have been until 10 a.m. Most guests seemed to show up right at 8:45 just to get there in time. My grown kids enjoyed the outside pool and said there was actually a lifeguard there. I was surprised to hear that as many hotels are swim at your own risk. This hotel is surrounded by so many restaurants and shopping galore within 1/2 a mile or closer. Our room had a microwave and good-sized fridge/freezer. We were able to go to Wegman's and also had an option of Walmart to get some groceries/snacks. There was no restaurant in the hotel. The Outback was just across the street. The hotel was easy to find and right off the highway but just far enough away from the highway that you didn't even know you were near it. Very lovely area. Our trip to D.C. each day took approximately 30 minutes to get there, however, no matter what time you ended your day, it seemed to always take about an hour to return to the hotel - couldn't make out if it was accidents or just a bottleneck problem. This was a very safe area to stay. I would definitely return here if coming to see Washington, D.C. Visited Old Alexandria which was really fun. Took about 15 minutes to go there from the hotel and it's beautiful and very vibrant and alive. Something for everyone there. If you stop there and want to eat in a historical place where George Washington had his final two birthdays celebrated, eat at Gadsby's Tavern. Jefferson and all the founding fathers of the day apparently met there to discuss politics as the country was coming to be before Washington, D.C. was even chosen as our capital. Expensive menu but really good food!!! Also take in Mount Vernon and see the new museum about George before touring his home. Really amazing. In D.C., make sure you check out the new Bible Museum, about a half block from the National Mall. It was amazing! Next trip I'm going to the Spy Museum. It was nice to return to comfy two queen-sized beds in our room. Loved this hotel!!!!

Weather was atrocious and we decided to stay overnight. We picked the Best Western because of the brand name. Glad we did Breakfast was very good except for the orange juice which was too thick from one machine and too watered down from another. Other than that the women in the breakfast area took care of any needs

BW @ Woodbridge is a great location for a very competitive rate. In addition the ammenties make the stay very worth while. It's hard to find better room quality as well as parking in the area. I highly recommend staying here.

We were very pleased with our annual stay at the Best Western. Check-in was quick and easy and we received an upgrade and complimentary snacks in our room. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the free breakfast both mornings we were there. We'll definitely return next year!

the beds were comfortable, clean room, the cleaning services were great. Also, the breakfast was great and we enjoy the pool as well. There are very nice restaurants and malls which are very closed to the hotel.

My complaint is that I booked a room for 4 adults with double beds more than 30 days in advance. When I arrived at the hotel from driving over 1200 miles from Memphis TN to Woodbridge VA, on June 22, 2018. I was told by the desk clerk that they would not be able to accommodate me on my last day 06/24/2018 with a room with double beds that they only had rooms with one bed. I explained to the desk clerk that would be unacceptable because we had book this room more than 30 days in advance and that we had four adults. I asked for a rollaway bed and I was told that they did not have rollaway bed or rooms sleeper sofas. I then ask, if I would be discounted on the last night because of the inconvenience of one of the couples having to sleep on the floor, or if we could rent a second room at a lower rate? He told me that he would have to get with the General Manager. When the General Manager came from the back office his attitude was already unfriendly, he did not ask how he could help us. I went on to explain to him that we had booked our rooms more than 30 days in advance, and that we have four adults and we do understand if they had overbooked the double bed rooms. However, if they could allow us to rent a second room on Sunday at lower rate to accommodate the other two adults. The General Manager told us know and that he would cancelled our reservations so that we could find rooms at another hotel. Then he cancelled our reservations; we were blessed to find accommodation at another hotel at lower rates.

Not a bad hotel for a school group. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of options, and interesting ones too like apple crepes and salsa scrambled eggs. It was a ways from the city with morning traffic. Lots of restaurants nearby though.

I've stayed at this hotel twice, both times met my expectations, my 1st stay I was in the executive suite(that's very nice), my 2nd time I was in the business king, I was a little disappointed my 2nd time because during breakfast they no longer serve turkey sausage, being that I don't eat Pork, I ask why and was told people didn't eat them so they replace them with crepes. All staff was friendly. This will be my hotel of choice whenever I'm traveling

This hotel needs a complete overhaul. We entered a musty smelling room, the sheets felt clammy, the pillow cases were coarse. the bathroom is the smallest we have ever seen and there is one sink in a tiny alcove. The tiles on the floor of the bathroom looked like they might have been the original tiles. The TV was huge but seemed to play only old old reruns and not in HD! There were no directions for the TV so we assume this was all we were getting. We stop in this area once a year and always stay somewhere there is free breakfast, not because we are cheap but because it saves time and we do not want a huge breakfast. There were no hard boiled eggs, only eggs that looked like they were in cubes. The yogurt was a sweet and came out of a dispenser with fruit toppings on the side. The bread was awful, only the packaged sliced bread was edible. Everything, except the make it yourself pancakes and waffles, was unappetizing. I will say the place was clean and the service people were lovely. There may have been other elevators but there were only 2 as far as we could tell. The were always full and often stopped on every floor with no chance of anyone else getting in. I cannot say the chain is a bad one, but we will chose another Best Western next time.

I stayed here recently as part of a school tour group and knew going in that this was a budget hotel. However, the issues I encountered should not be present even in a budget hotel. The kids had an updated room, newly painted with faux wood floors and a neutral smell. My room, on the other hand, had dark, dingy furnishings and walls, broken shower tiles, soggy carpet, and the overwhelming stench of multiple air fresheners (presumably to mask the smell of mold and mildew in the perpetually wet carpeting). Seriously, I could not walk from the bed to the bathroom without putting on shoes because the carpet was so soggy at all times. The AC had some sort of auto-off feature so the room was always stiflingly hot and humid when I returned at the end of a long day. Shampoo/conditioner are on a dispenser on the wall of the shower. My shampoo dispenser was empty so I had to wash my hair with body wash the first night. There was also a recurring issue with the room keys. They kept getting deactivated after 1-2 uses. The desk clerk told one of the other chaperones that it was often due to going through the many metal detectors in D.C., but I was having issues just going from the lobby to our rooms on the third floor. One morning I had to have both rooms re-keyed four times in 45 minutes. Ridiculous. If you are traveling on your own, I would warn you that this hotel caters to large groups (like the one I was with) that will completely monopolize the breakfast area/lobby from 6-8 a.m. The young man who was working the front desk was very professional and apologetic about the room key issue every time I had to visit. He also made sure that the shampoo dispenser was filled on the second day. That's basically the only positive thing I have to say about my stay.

I have stayed here 5 times now and everytime has been fantastic. Even when filled with charter trips full of kids I have been able to relax and/or work without interupption. The breakfast is the real deal and the staff is very pleasant and welcoming.

I am writing this letter about a recent stay I had at BW in Potomac Mills Woodbridge, VA. We booked our room in May 2017 for May 25-28,2018 weekend. Upon arrival, I had a $10 promotional card to use. The General manager, Charles was highly rude to us and said he could not accept an email, the promotion must be printed.... Nowhere did it state that requirement, but however; he directed me to the computer kiosk area to print the promotional card with pin code. Upon doing so, my email account was hacked and I spent the next 6 hours resolving that issue with numerous PW changes. Check in took 55 minutes. After arriving in our room, which was very Nice, clean and maintained, I checked my bank account for the hotel charge. I noticed an ADDITIONAL $150 charged to my account. I went back to the front desk to speak with Charles and I was told at the time, BW places a $50 per night hold on each credit card for

We were pleasantly surprised. This Best Western hotel exceeded our expectations. The front desk staff was super. This is a good base for sightseeing and, of course, shopping at Potomac Mills(you can walk it). The room was very nice, the pillows were great, and the breakfast was the best we have had. And oh! that shower! Well,well worth a stay.

All I can say was that my wife and I where pleasantly surprised when we got here. The first thing I noticed was how clean the room smelled, then how big the big the room was. The room was big. It had a king bed on one side and a sitting area with a desk, a nice chair, a couch the refrigerator and microwave. The towel swan and the mints, were a nice touch. The staff were all friendly. Good Job. When we are in the area, we will stay here again. BTW I recommend joining the Best Western Rewards program. Great perks!

Again this hotel was a hit for me. Clean, comfortable, relaxing, and very professional. I enjoyed my stay. The staff was awesome! Making sure that for every entry the customer made, they were greeted with a Hello or How are you doing and for every exit there was a Have a great day or evening. I love this hotel. Price is reasonable and services are great!

We came from Florida with 52 people on an 8th grade DC trip. This hotel was very clean, rooms were nice and big, it was safe with security, and the breakfast every morning was great. It was a good location to stay to get to all the sites we toured. Cannot say much about noise because it was normal for having a bunch of teenagers staying with us. We had quiet after 11pm.

Don't stay here if at all possible, this place over promises and under deliver. Made absolutely no effort to make you feel welcomed or wanted. Made my reservation a month early and they still did not get any of my request right. Asked not to be placed near elevator or ice machine and they still failed me.

Stayed here at the recommendation of my sibling. Hotel was easy to find and once inside, well appointed. Located next to several restaurants and a few blocks from Potomac Mills Mall, it provides easy access to EVERYTHING!!

Hotel maintenance was happening at 11:30 p.m. in the adjacent room. Halls, guests, staff were all extremely noisy. Walls were so thin that I could easily hear conversations next door. The location was convenient but it was one of my worst hotel stays in 5-10 years and I stay 75-100 nights per year due o business travel

We have stayed there each time we are in the area and the staff is always welcoming and helpful. We will always be returning to this hotel when we need to be in this area. The coffee and juice bar is available 24/7 which is very much appreciated.

We were recommended this hotel as a place that we could stay and then travel to several different locations in the area. We visited the National Mall, Mt. Vernon and Gettysburg, PA all in one week. It was a great jumping off point for our destinations.

We spent a Friday night at the Best Western recently, and we were very pleased. The location is excellent, as the hotel is within the Potomac Mills area, so every shop, store, or restaurant you might want is within a very short drive. (you do not have to go out on the interstate or any major roads, just the local Potomac Mills streets). The check-in was very efficient, our room was ready early, and we were greeted with snacks from the front desk staff. We had a lovely end room that was very spacious with a separate desk area, and a vanity area separate from the bathroom. The decor was nice, our beds were comfortable, the breakfast was quite good, and the complimentary wi-fi was fast and reliable. Thank you for a nice stay, we hope to be back in the near future!

I really enjoyed my stay can't wait to return the room was nice and clean with a lot of space the employees were very nice and welcoming and the breakfast was very good. Overall it was a very good experience

A lot of good things about this hotel...friendly staff...great housekeeping...and great breakfast buffet. Only one negative for me was that the Hotel caters to group bus tours and when they are in house it is difficult to eat breakfast between 6am and 8am...they take up all the tables and the lines are long. If you don't mind eating between 8am & 9am you will be fine. I have suggested to the Hotel they should open up the Prince William room for regular guests (not on tour buses) and allow them to have at least a hot breakfast station and ample seating during the entire 3 hour breakfast buffet. The room was really nice. I had never stayed in a Best Western but I would definitely do so again. We checked in very late. Staff was friendly. Room was immaculate, beds very comfortable, room nicely decorated. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Great hotel. Wonderful staff and a real breakfast buffet. I travel to Woodbridge often and always stay here The rooms are large clean and comfortable. The hotel is easily accessible off l95 The hotel is in walking distance to many restaurants and to Potomac Mills mall.

I got a room next to electric room and somehow I think it was the weekend and the hotel kinda full. I can hear a lot of the noise and I can even hear the lady next door on the phone with her boyfriend/husband. Yes, we got the connecting door. Beside the noise, overall is good hotel. And they have a lot variety of breakfast. It's pretty good for short weekend getaway.

Our auto train was cancelled and we had to find a hotel to spend the night. We always try to stay in a Best Western and this one in Woodbridge Va., Potomac Mills, was the best one yet! Very convenient to the Lorton Va. autotrain.

The staff at the front desk was friendly and competent. After an 8 hour drive we were grateful that our 2 roomswere ready and waiting for us. The breakfast offered was one of the best I've experienced in a hotel. The kitchen staff kept it well stocked and clean. The variety offered was great. A definite highlight of our stay here. The rooms were also clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and will return since we now have family in the area. The lobby area is large and comfortable.

After driving for 8 hours, we arrived to this comfortable and clean hotel. The front desk staff were very nice and professional and offered 3 free snacks, which we needed to hold us up until we got some food ;)

I had a great experience in this hotel. It was easy to get there from the airport and easy check in. The breakfast was super. Actually is one of the best things that this hotel has. The selection for the breakfast includes: bacon or sausage, potatoes, eggs, pancakes, waffles, cereals, yogurts and the list go on. The breakfast is available from 6am to 9am. The location is great, just besides the Potomac Festival and very close to the Potomac Mills Mall. Is around 25-30 mins to DC. Good places nearby to eat. The room was cleaned all the days. Great place to stay with the family. My room had microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker.

The front desk, staff, amenities, price and value of the Best Western in Woodbridge Virginia are rivaled by none. This includes some of the more expensive hotels. The lady working at the front desk in the mornings made every morning pleasurable with her smile alone.

This was our second time staying. Front desk staff is always nice. Room is always clean and neat. There's always more than enough towels, we've never had to ask for extra. Even when we had three of our kids with us on our first stay, there were still plenty of washcloths and towels that were unused. Our first stay we were in a very nice king suite that had everything we needed plus some. This time though, in a double queen room, (room 421) we were very surprised that there was no microwave OR refrigerator in the room, I guess these days those things are just expected to be in a hotel room...especially at a Best Western. It was a little inconvenient not to have a fridge after we were given hot complimentary drinks at check in. Also, it was kind of a bummer that breakfast is now over at 9AM instead of 10AM. We did not know this until we checked in. Only other small thing was to flush the toilet you had to hold the handle down for quite a few seconds, not a big deal at all. It happens!! Thanks for another good stay.

I fell in love with this hotel if such a thing can happen to a person. I really love coming to this hotel. I enjoy the friendly employees and the managers are always helpful. I love the layout of the room and the cleanliness of the room. I appreciate the hard work they put into preparing breakfast. If I could live here, I would be at peace. I just think there's something special about this place.

We can always find a well designed room with a comfortable bed after a long drive. The breakfast buffet offers plenty of choices for all tastes. We look forward to eating when we stay here. It's a great location between our home in South Carolina and our family in New York.

We have used this hotel on several occasions and it is always clean and the staff is always willing to assist in any way. Breakfast has an excellent selection and assortment of items to chose from , food is always hot. There is coffee, tea and juice available 24 hours a day . We will continue to return to this hotel during our travels.

Our Christmas eve at this BW was wonderful. The staff were very friendly the building is very nice and well maintained you can tell the people working there take a lot of pride in their work. Highly recommend this place

My daughter and I have been going to Potomac Mills for the last 5 years. We always stay here. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the customer service is outstanding. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Eight hours into an eleven-hour drive, we found ourselves in dire need of a hotel room. I asked my boyfriend to find a Best Western along our route (via Google Maps) and, in just minutes, he was able to secure a room with a king-size bed for two adults staying one night. Free wi-fi, clean comfy accommodations, friendly staff, and FREE, HOT BREAKFAST made for a perfect night!

Had to travel to Woodbridge for a family member who had been in a car accident. After making sure family member was okay, went to look for the nearest hotel which was Best Western. Check-in was smooth and after informing attendant that I was traveling with a senior citizen, she transferred my room closer to the elevator so my family member did not have far to walk. Staff was very courteous and friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. My stay was only one night, however I would stay there again and recommend this hotel to other visitors.

Room was super clean. Plenty of clean towels and nice pillows. Nice soap dispensers in rooms. Availability of restaurants in the mall across the street and lots of stores in area. In secluded but safe area

Third time staying here and have had no problems at any time or visit. The hotel is about 7 miles past Lorton train station and we feel secure about leaving stuff in our car overnight. Would highly recommend this hotel and in fact 2 other couples whom we recommended this hotel used it and were highly satisfied

I stayed here for one night with a school field trip, and thought the hotel was OK. It is clearly an older hotel, and the rooms show many signs of wear - many cracked tiles in the bathroom, worn carpets, etc. But, overall the room seemed clean, and the beds were quite comfortable which was a nice surprise. Given the fact that I know the floor was crowded with a bunch of kids, the noise from other rooms was definitely kept to a minimum. Breakfast was a surprise in terms of variety. There were waffles, pancakes, oatmeal (pre-packaged), cereal, donuts, eggs, breakfast burritos, bacon, juice, and coffee (and probably other things that I didn't see. The location is right off 95, and there are some restaurants in the area (Outback and a Japanese place were the closest that I saw, though the hotel is near Potomac Mills Mall). I did use the WiFi briefly, and it was acceptable for basic web traffic (didn't try streaming anything). While I might not return - I would prefer a hotel closer to DC if that is my destination, it certainly wasn't a bad stay.

Have stayed at the hotel several times. Never disappointed. The hotel has some age on it but they have kept it up and made upgrades when/where necessary. Breakfast is very good. Great location, right near the Potomac Mills and dining.

My friends and I attend the Kenneth Copeland Washington, DC Victory Campaign each Veterans' week end yearly and we make sure we book early so that we can stay at our favorite hotel in the Woodbridge, Virginia. It is so convenient to the Hylton Cecil Conference Center--within walking distance; however, we choose to drive to the location. The hotel is clean and is furnished with modern furniture.

We loved the welcome letter, call, mints, gift, appearance of everything. Best stay in a long time. Everything was clean. I posted a picture of the room when we arrived on Google maps. We will be sure to use this BW again!

I was Very Pleased with the Location, Comfort of the Room and The Professionalism of The Front Desk, Staff and Housekeeping. The area offers a great selection of places to shop and eat in the area. It's convenient to the I-95 Corridor and only 20 miles from the DC Metro area. Travel time to DC can vary, yet that's not a problem if you not in a hurry to get anywhere.

We always stay at this Best Western when we come yearly for Kenneth Copeland meetings at the Hylton Memorial Chapel. It is a very clean, comfortable and relaxing place to stay as well as convenient to the meetings and places to eat. We park our car and walk wherever we need to go. No fighting the traffic!

This is an older hotel but I keep coming back year after year. I believe next year will be my 20th year. There have been some upgrades over the years (beds, linens, shower tile, etc.), but the main thing is that everything is SPOTLESS and in working order. Also, the staff is always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has been expanded over the years and it is a good start for the day. I always look forward to staying here while attending my yearly conference.

Good place to stay versus driving up and down the road between meetings (within an hour 1 way). It's convenient location to attend meeting at the Hylton Memorial Chapel. The breakfast is a real breakfast with hot food, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, milk, juice, yogurt and you can fix pancakes and waffles -- it is very feeling to last your through your business day or day events you have planned.

I stayed here with a large group as part of a 5th grade class tour of DC. The staff was very efficient, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was hardy. I liked that the sink was outside of the bathroom as that helped when all 4 of us were getting ready at the same time. There were plenty of tables for breakfast and the selection was good.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient to Washington DC and other areas. Several eateries and bars, stores are within easy walking distance. The metro is near by. Bus system runs frequently. The seasonal outdoor pool is awesome. Breakfast is better than most. (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, fruit, yogurt etc.

We flew into Dulles airport from Europe, got our car, and started the two plus hour drive back to our home in Richmond. Before long we realized we were very tired. The Best Western Potomac Mills hotel was right off of I 95. It was a pleasant surprise. Our room was clean, very big, and nicely appointed. We really liked the towel "swan" that greeted us on the bed. There was a refrigerator, a microwave, and a pod coffee maker in the room. So convenient. The included breakfast was excellent. On top of all that, the personnel were very friendly, from the breakfast room to the front desk. We'll definitely choose the hotel again.

The room was clean and very nice. The lighting could of been brighter. Breakfast was great. Went to use the exercise room and it was locked but head desk had a master key. When we got in it was extremely hot. Thanks to a maintenance girl walking by that adjusted it.

The hotel was clean and the room was very clean. The checkin process was easy. I had a one year old with me, so cleanliness was very important. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is about ten minutes away from shopping center.

Not a roll in shower as they told me. It was a shower with a board acting as a ramp. The soap dispenser to high above my head. Glad i bring my own shampoo. But the shower was broken they did want to fix but I did not want maintenence in my room without me there. But I had such a hard time as a person in a wheelchair. I can tell you not ADA friendly. It would be fine for a normal walking person but if you are handicap or has someone who is handicap. Please choose another hotel.

highly recommend this hotel...location, room, internet, fitness room and breakfast is very good....and pleasant staff! The staff did a great job meeting my request for adjoining rooms, and additional amenities.

My wife and I spent one night at the Best Western Potomac Mills during a recent road trip. We picked this hotel because it was a convenient stopping point and near a Tesla supercharger. The hotel was good, but nothing special, and the only reason I rated it Very Good rather than Average was because the price was very reasonable. We had a large room (business suite). The decor in the room and throughout the hotel looked dated, and the room lighting was pretty dim. I didn't find the king bed very comfortable, but my wife did; the pillows were small. There were two separate and noisy AC units, one under each window; overnight we just ran the one furthest from the bed. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre at best. Many cold items (pastries etc.) were packaged, there was no cream cheese for the bagels (which were small), and the fresh fruit looked tired. Although we would consider staying here again, I would probably look at other options first.

Clean, pleasant and welcoming. Very attentive to your needs and requests. Management concerned that you will have a pleasant stay. Only down side was trying to get back and forth in the traffic. Centrally located for where we needed to travel back and forth from and to. The food manager/setup person was always looking for ways to make you feel better and find whatever it was you needed.

I was so happy to see a Best Western when we saw the sign. We pulled in, were greeted warmly, got a great room, had dinner next door, slept like a baby, had an incredible shower and an exceptional breakfast. No checkout needed and we were on the road again! This was the best. The price was good too!

This is a great location, close to a main highway. My sister and I found restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. Washington DC is only a few miles away. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at this hotel based on the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. The room was one of the biggest we have experienced which came in handy when we were sorting our luggage for the next stage of our trip. The breakfast provided was the best we have experienced on our travels in the USA, even the coffee was acceptable to my Australian taste. The trip to the center of DC only took 40 minutes (provided there were no accidents holding up traffic). The staff did suggest taking the train. The hotel is located close to the Potomac Mills shopping wall and there are numerous restaurants within close proximity. The only minor criticisms I would have is that the luggage carts were similar to those at the airports and don't cater for people with more than 2 large cases. The other criticism is the cost of the laundry facilities. Despite these minor criticisms we would definitely stay here again.

Wow! This is how you get repeat customers. The hotel is spotless and the staff is very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable with a mini fridge, microwave and flat screen TV. When we walked in we had a towel in the shape of a swan on the bed. Cute. The Wifi had a strong signal even all the way up on the 8th floor. I was pleased to find that they had dispensers in the shower for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I hate fighting those tiny bottles at other hotels. Breakfast choices were unbelievable and they opened it at 6am. We booked here because of the price and were willing to drive the 25 minutes to get to the start of the Run with WIFLE half marathon. I love the BW gives us until noon to check out.

The room was already paid for, but when I checked in they asked for an additional $50 per night in advance as a deposit against damage. This was not listed in the policy info about the hotel when I made the on-line reservation. When I tried to talk to them about it they didn't seem to care that this was going to cause a serious issue for me. They had an attitude of if you don't like it, go somewhere else, but the room was prepaid so I didn't have much of a choice.

We stayed for three nights and our room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and the rates were quite reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel put out the largest Best Western breakfast we have yet to see, and we stay at a lot of Best Westerns (love their rewards program). The breakfast buffet stretches two walls long with fresh pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes, and many other items. The hotel is older and the carpet on the 8th-floor hall shows a little wear, but overall it is in good condition and our room was nice. My one small negative was the cost of the laundry; $3.50 for a wash and $3.50 for a dry. We recommend this hotel and if we return to that area we will stay there again.

Our hotel stay was wonderful. Our room was excellent and the staff was great. The bed were very comfortable. The housekeeping staff was great also. Breakfast was wonderful. The selections were perfect.

The hotel was a great value. The service was just okay. Staff wasn't as friendly as I am use to but the hotel was well priced and provided a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of both hot and cold options.

I would never stay at this hotel again , the rooms were dem ,there were noisy neighbors, smoke smell in the halls,rude staff.I wouldnt recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Bathroom had stains on tolet seats.

Room was clean, had to insert key card 2-3 times before our door would unlock and the last two nights of our stay, the card wouldn't work at all. The front desk quickly reactivated the card though. Only other problem was that the sink was difficult to get to a normal pressure (it was either off or full force most of the time). Other than that, the stay was perfect.

Place was cheaper than everything else in this category. Would maybe have chosen a Comfort Inn, or Marriott, but since we were just passing through, didn't want to spend a whole lot of money. Great standard room, nice beds, clean, easy check out, super courteous staff, breakfast way above average for this level of hotel.

My family and I needed a place to settle for the night after a long drive. I found this place on Trip Advisor the price was great so we stopped. I was very surprised how nice the hotel looked on the exterior. To my surprise! the interior was just as nice. They accommodated my elderly mother with a handicapped accessible room after coming off a long drive which was very good. The rooms were very clean, the breakfasts to my surprise was very good! The beds were comfortable, the linens and towels were clean and not of bad quality, they were actually very nice for a Best Western. The staff at the front desk were very nice. This was our first time staying at a Best Western, I would definitely come again.

Nice place, clean, safe. Great Breakfast, comfortable rooms. Front desk staff very professional and helpful. Pool area is very nice and there was a lifeguard that was very nice to our 6 year old granddaughter.

We have stayed here several times and each time are welcomed warmly and made to feel at home. The rooms are clean, staff is helpful and friendly and breakfast is excellent. While we are in the area we will choose no other hotel.

This is my second time staying at this hotel within the past 12 months. Love the breakfast and the rooms are clean! The hotel is located in close proximity to the Potomac Mills mall and surrounded by plenty of good dining options.

Excellent Front Desk Staff, Life Guard and Security Guard. There was an issue with another hotel guest and the Security Guard handled the situation with professionalism. Hotel upkeep was excellent. The pool was wonderful and the life guard was helpful and pleasant.

This hotel provides a quality experience for a chain price. They go above and beyond in service, cleanliness and amenities. The location is great with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We stay here every time we drive to NJ and back

I have never stayed at a property that offered so much for such a low nightly rate. This hotel is an excellent example of an older property that made wise investments to modernize and keeps a quality staff on hand to handle guests. The location is very convenient right off the interstate. 24 hour complementary coffee service includes a machine that makes cappuccino, cafe latte, etc. The breakfast area is busy during the morning rush and the breakfast is good with a variety of hot and cold items. If I did have a complaint it was the cleanliness of this area. Although staff constantly walked around wiping down counters and refilling food items, both mornings there were sticky areas on the floor. It wasn't a deal breaker. Considering the price of the hotel room, a breakfast this good is rare. I called the front desk and asked for someone to fix the clock in my room which modern with usb ports and such but the time was wrong. Even though it was a busy time in the morning for the hotel, someone arrived within 30 minutes. The property is clean. I loved the brightly lit hallways. The outdoor pool is nothing special but at least there was a lifeguard. I haven't stayed at a Best Western in over a decade because in the past I didn't have consistent experiences. This one stay has changed my mind about the brand and I will come back if I'm ever in the area.

This property met and often exceeded our expectations in every way. The breakfast bar was extensive and maintained very well by an attentive staff. The entire hotel was spotless. Potomac Mills Best Western has a great location. We'll be back often.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and size of our room. We had a full sitting area, a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and a second sink. Beds were comfortable, though I couldn't find a soft pillow in our selection. I cannot comment on breakfast, because we left both days before it started at 6. Loved all the dining and retail therapy choices within walking distance.

We have come back several times to stay. We enjoy the hospitality, cleanliness and hot breakfast. We are rewards members also and enjoy the benefits. Specifically, we are warmly greeted at the front desk and offered some rewards that we can choose from. The rooms are clean and all necessities are well stocked. The hotel was a very pleasant surprise from the time I walked into the building. Everything was very clean. The amenities were a nice touch. The breakfast was full, and still being replenished, even though i did not go down until 10 minutes before it was to shut down. It is a really great place for families as it also has a pool.

We stayed here for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday). We had a king room, which was quiet and very well organized. Clean, cool, comfortable bed. The staff was great, very helpful and nice. The breakfast was the best "continental" breakfast we've ever had. Thanks so much for the great job done by all staff. The hotel was just a mile or so from Potomac Mills outlet mall and the IKEA store. All around a high recommendation.

Good location. Friendly staff. Nice and clean rooms. Close proximity to many shops, businesses and restaurants. Staff is always helpful. Reward member parking is a plus. Easy to get around from this location.

Staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable. Pillows were not firm, but thick enough to be comfortable. Room we stayed in was by the elevators and we didn't hear it when people were getting on and off. Breakfast was good. Two walls of food. Enough tables to sit down to eat your breakfast, on crowded days. Hotel was also near a lot of restaurants.

A little time away from home. Can't afford a real vacation. Thank God for lovely kids who are very appreciative of whatever mom can and has to offer. This was a very interestingly fun trip/vacation which didn't break the bank.

my husband and I stopped at the best Western Potomac Mills on our drive between South Carolina and New York. There really is nothing bad I can say about this hotel. The associates at the check-in desk were polite well-dressed and happy to see us. The room was clean comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was outstanding.

It may not look the best from the outside, but the service and beds make up for it. If you are a rewards member, you'll get special treatment with special parking, 3 free snacks upon check in and candy in your room. Its the first hotel I check when staying in the area.

I was wary of doing an "express deal", but I thought why not. Once I found out the hotel was the Best Western Potomac Mills, I looked at the reviews and was a little nervous. After staying here for four days, I will definitely be back. The hotel was amazing and the staff extremely friendly and helpful!

Due to my career, I have to travel to different city every day. Best western is always my favorite. However, I have to say this best western is very different compared with my previous experience. In short, it's the BEST best western I have stayed. It provides me with outstanding service and affordable price. I highly recommend this hotel.

Surprised by a $200 hold on credit card for a one night stay. One night cost less than $80 because third party website was used. When we asked the front desk to show us their written policy on holding $200, they could not provide this. Also we asked if this is their policy for all guests. They replied no, that they only do this for those that use third party websites. The holds that we have had in the past for hotel stays were taken off upon check out. This $200 hold should be made clear upon check-in and shared with other websites so the customer can decide if they want to go ahead with staying at this 2.5 star hotel.

My stay was awesome. I was not expecting this hotel to be this great. It was better than some of the suites that I usually stay in. The customer service was great! They way people treat you is what keeps you coming back. Overall I was very satisfied with everything.

Pleasantly surprised by this comfortable Best Western in a 2 night stay. Rooms were spacious and well designed with laminate flooring. Very clean rooms and soft comfortable beds with well-stocked breakfast bar. A tin of mints avaialbe in the rooms were a nice touch. There were obviously large student groups on site, but I didn't hear them at all other than seeing them leave the lobby each morning at 6:30 AM when I came down for a hearty breakfast. Outdoor pool onsite and dedicated free parking.

This was a great place to stay and the breakfast was awesome! The rooms were decorated with various characters made from bathroom face and body washclothes!!! The ease of settling into the well groomed rooms and relaxing after such a long drive was much appreciated!

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I didn't like the rooms. I got in close to midnight and the first room I stayed in was very damp. There was no circulation, the carpet was damp and therefore a little smelly. When I tried to sleep my clothes felt damp from the bed. I had to call to have my room changed completely. The second room was also damp but minus the carpet, wood floors made it a little better. 2 days in a row my room did not get cleaned even after I requested for it to be cleaned. Twice in the evening I had to go get clean towels, sheets, toilet tissue and have someone bring me trash bags. The breakfast was ok, the coffee was pretty good. The fitness center was not much at all but I manage to get a run on the treadmill. There was a laundry on site but it was 3.50 for each wash and each dryer. The price was low, 79 - 82 bucks through a trip advisor but not low enough. I hadn't stayed at a BW in about 15 years and now reminded myself why. I doubt I'll ever stay at any BW again if it has to be more than 1 night.

The hotel was comfortable and had plenty of amenities including a well stocked breakfast bar. We were half way between airport and Quantico which served us well considering the amount of traffic around DC. There was a mall nearby for plenty of shopping and eating. There is coffee/lattes, and juices available 24/7. Overall it wasn't super fancy but adequate for what we needed

Great location! Easy exit off 95. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants. From steak, sushi, Vietnamese noodles, Chinese, to Mexican. All within short walking distance to the hotel. Staff is always courteious and helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of my stay at this hotel. The building itself was clean and accented by little details in the room made to make it special. Keurig coffees, Andes mints, and other special treats were available. The staff could not have been more courteous, professional, or friendly. I will definitely stay here again. I am also proud to be a Rewards member.

rooms okay, breakfast okay, internet very slow, fitness room terrible, noise level between rooms loud. On a very busy stretch of highway which takes a long time to get to major cities. If staying close to the area this is okay but not fantastic.

I thought the hotel was average. I was with a large school group. I did notice that if my roommate or I had not gotten our showers quickly when the coaches arrived back to the hotel we would not have hot water. Other than that everything else was okay. There was a coffee maker in our room and one set of people with us had a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. There is also an iron and ironing board in each room.

I stayed here with some friends after an absolutely terrible Airbnb experience where we had to leave and find something for one night. When we arrived parking was easy and the young lady at the front desk was very nice. Check in was fast and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. Surprisingly we had fairly large refrigerator and everyone agreed the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast included much more than we thought it would. Granted some of it didn't taste that great - but does anyone really expect eggs or sausage at a Best Western to hold up to restaurant quality or home made? A member of our group asked if there were non-dairy options for coffee and they immediately provided almond milk which was a nice and helpful. Overall it was a short stay and we were pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for a decent place to stay when passing through the area I would recommend this hotel.

Good location quiet it is a good place to get a good night's sleep close to the capital area good access to 495. Remarkably quiet for its location. The room was well layed out the only thing I wished ot had would be a small refrigerator.

We are frequent Best Western visitors and Potomac Mills is, by far, the best we have ever stayed at. Spacious rooms, quiet, comfortable bed, conveniently located, great room rate, wonderful staff and, although the same free breakfast fare as other Best Westerns, the food here was superior to any other. Very fresh and tasty. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

We were enroite to NC from DE. We left after work and drove through with s goal of making it pat DC. I searched for rooms while hubby drove. BW Definitely offered the the best room, amenities and price. Breakfast buffet was boutiful hot and cold foods and a customizable coffee/espresso machine. It is located relatively close to D.C. If you are going to visit We would definitely stop here again.

Stayed here with friends and the maid service surprised us. My roommate had a bracelet that she took off to shower. She put the bracelet between two of the unused towels and forgot about it after her shower. When maid service came that day they took all the towels and later, when she remembered she left the bracelet, we asked at the front desk about her jewelry and the contacted maid service the next day about it. They could not find it. A day later another guest in our party (in a separate room) found the bracelet neatly stowed between two of their "new, unused towels" in their bathroom. It was there exactly as my roommate had left it, wedged between two folded towels. Turns out, the unused towels from our room had been taken and placed in another room (directly, still folded as they were in our room) and put in another room. Gross, I will never stay in a Best Western again. What's worse, the people at the hotel didn't really seem to be worried about it when we reported what happened.

I didn't expect much being that I had to stay at a Best Western. I did one of the secret deals and I will never do that again. The front desk staff were extremely rude and acted like they were doing me a big favor by letting me stay at the hotel for the night, The two working the desk were also talking very rudely about a guest that had just called down and I found that to be very unprofessional and inappropriate. The staff throughout the hotel all looked like they would rather be anywhere else but here. I will never again stay at this hotel or any Best Western for that matter. I didn't at all have high expectations but I expected at least friendly and welcoming staff.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, however, this time I was highly disappointed. The room was a mess. Used towels, hairs in the bed, sheets not changed and trash in the trash can Asked the staff if I could get a refund if I decided to cancel my reservation and go elsewhere if they could not get someone to clean the room. It was our two year anniversary and this kind of hampered the mood.

Hotel WiFi was ONLY available in the lobby. I reported the problem and the desk clerk provided a phone number, but neither they not their IT staff offered any real solutions, or offered to resolve the problem in any way.

Great service, Delicious Breakfast, beautiful room, good amenities, accessible parking, close to the shopping mall, n restaurants. Front desk clerk very pleasant, Aracelys, and the Night auditor (Marcus), very nice n friendly. also Housekeeping staff ALL of them very patience with us.. we were around 300 ladies in a Convention next door. at the Chapel. and last but not least The security Guard, Nikia she is awesome.. God bless them all, Next time I will go with the family. is a great place to be.. staff make you feel like family.

I am a Best Western rewards member so I stay there whenever possible. Not luxurious but clean, comfortable beds, good amenities, friendly staff. This one is in a great location, in the midst of restaurants, movie theaters, and stores. Only thing in this location and others I have stayed in: in-room wifi very bad.

Very disappointed that the internet did not work at all. Rooms could be updated and cleaner. Overall stay was ok, as we only stayed overnight. Breakfast was good, pleased all the members of my family. The check in was easy and the front desk staff was nice.

We arrived to find a clean hotel with a very helpful check-in staff breakfast was awesome had a wide variety of high-quality foods that were very tasty rooms were clean and spacious showers were high pressure and we experienced no troubles or issues during our check-in or check-out overall very positive stay check-in staff also helped us to make accommodations for a conjoining room due to us having small children

Another good stay, excellent location for visiting our family. The breakfast buffet is starting to put weight on me. Not their fault for so many choices--my bad for no will power. The stay has all ways been friendly, just a good hotel to stay at.

Hotel was easy to find. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was more than I expected. The rooms were fine, and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was convenient to the concert venue we were attending and very close to shopping and restaurants.

Having stayed here for the second time ( 1st time - April 2016) and now, I felt that I needed to post a review and I rarely post reviews . It's a great hotel! And I have an experience with hotels , taking frequent road trips from New York to Florida. The staff is very nice, accommodating and friendly. The room is spacious and clean. The queen size bed is very big and comfortable. The free breakfast is really good with many selections offered. It is the best breakfast we've had in different hotels that offer free breakfast , even other Best Western hotels. The dining room is very spacious as well which is great and rare. You can't beat the price! Will definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Staff are very friendly! Lots of variety for breakfast, eggs, sausage, fruit, bread, coffee, juice, waffles, pancakes, etc... Clean comfortable rooms. Room could use a bit of updating, but was clean enough. Close to the Potomac Mall for great shopping. Close to lots of restaurants and conveniences. Fridge and Microwave in the room. Would stay here again if I was in the area.

My wife and I have stayed at the hotel many times and we like it very much. We have relatives in the area and come here a few times a year to visit them. Best Western Potomac Mille in Woodbridge, VA is where we always stay. It has never disappointed us. Service is great, rooms are clean and comfortable. The internet works great and breakfast is delicious with plenty of variety.

Everything from the comfort of the room, to the politeness of all the staff and lastly the great breakfast . It was ideal. I was able to get a good night's sleep in a clean comfortable bed to begin a journey the next day. I have stayed numerous times at this hotel and always found it a great experience.

I was on the ninth floor (the top floor). It was a wonderful room with a great view. I was the end room on the floor with 2 windows. The room was large with a desk that was in a separate area from the bed. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff was super friendly. I will stay here again next year. I stayed here to go the Washington DC Victory Campaign. The location was perfect. However there isn't a great variety of eating establishments within walking distance, so you may have to drive to get something to eat, and while they aren't too far, Woodbridge traffic is horrendous. But this isn't the fault of the hotel, and like I said I will be staying here next year.

This was the third time we had stayed at this older hotel. Good 2 night stay, only complaint was when we returned to our room at 3 the maid was still cleaning it and we had to wait 30 mins. Average buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. Good place to stay for Ikea and shopping.

Should have done more research. Front Desk lacked basic knowledge, let alone ability to treat people as "guests". Absolutely NO customer service, or compassion for travelers. Will definitely put this on the "never again" list.

This hotel was perfect for our student group trip to Washington DC. The people who worked here did their best to accommodate us but also understood that we had 48 6/7/8th graders with us and they tended to be loud. They worked with us and we were very pleased!

We booked this as most times Best Western is decent. Upon check in, the man at the front desk at night had an air of arrogance. The room had two queen beds which were soft, the sink was not in the bathroom (which was extremely small), the toilet seat was broken, the a/c was marginal at best, and the day we ate breakfast there had some funny kind of egg and no bacon. We were booked there for 3 nights, and 2 of those nights, we had to go back to the front desk to have the room keys recoded as they quit working. We were on the 2nd floor and house keeping did not even get to the room till after 2 p.m. No movie channels on the TV. All in all, I would pay more and stay somewhere else rather than subject myself or my family to staying here again. Entry and exit from the parking lot is lousy.

We got this hotel by chance when all other properties in the area were sold out. Comfortable Double Queen room. The location is convenient to the famous Potomac Mall. The breakfast is hot fresh and free. You will get free on site parking and also Free wifi. You will even get to use the signature Best Western bath robes.

This is a very basic hotel. Old building. It needs renovation. Ok value for the money if you have to stay in the area, but nothing great. Bed was uncomfortable, air conditioner was loud and didn't work well, breakfast was average. Wouldn't stay here again.

We have stayed at this Best Western twice now. We returned because we were sooooo happy with the stay the first time. The front desk check in guy, Jamaal treated us like gold. Great customer service skills. The internet in our room was not working. It worked fine on our devices in the lobby, but would not connect in the room. When I asked at the desk to the other gentleman there, he kept saying I was doing it wrong. Funny I could do it in the lobby no problem. He was just rude and abrupt.

You need to wait at least 10 minutes for hot water - for any sink or shower. Otherwise our stay was great. Quiet clean room with comfortable bread and nice breakfast offerings. Have stayed here before and will stay here again

Third time we have stayed at this hotel and not disappointed. Clean rooms, great rates and very friendly staff. Oh and free awesome breakfast buffet in the morning. If you want to stop and shop on your way down 95 this is the hotel to chose, right next to Potomac Mills outlets.

I recently stayed here with my son from North Carolina for the weekend. The hotel was very nice and clean, free breakfast was great with lots of choices. Didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but, what time we did stay there, was comfortable.

Of all the Best Westerns I have stayed, this hotel is far most the absolute best. I requested to be near the elevator and a microwave and refrigerator. My room was closest to the elevator and to the breakfast area. I would stay there again if I'm in the area again.

This hotel was average. The room was fine. Didn't particularly care for the sink and mirror not being in the bathroom. The hotel does offer breakfast in the morning, but it was bland. If you book through another site other than Best Western, you are charged $200 for incidentals. That is ridiculous and crazy. You are to receive it back in 2-3 business days. The one big perk is that the hotel is near major shopping and restaurants.

Have stayed at this hotel for several years during our annual business trip to the Woodbridge, Virginia area. The hotel is well maintained and convenient to I 95. There is considerable shopping in the area and we like that there are numerous restaurants close to the hotel. It is not unusual for the hotel to have busloads of visitors staying there, such as student groups, youth travel sports teams, and other out of town groups. To accommodate the large groups, the breakfast area has been expanded and is huge. The rooms are kept up nicely, front desk personnel are nice and helpful, and there is a security guard at night. We plan to stay there on our next trip to the area.

It was a very peaceful and quiet vacation that I had and your hotel staff was ok in everything that they provided for me. I would recommed this hotel to all my friends that stay in the woodbridge area

No A/c on in room when we arrived, the musty smell bad. The management must know because their was a large deodorizer under the dresser. You had to either straddle the toilet or stand in the tub to close the bathroom door. Very disappointed for the price. Even after turning on the A/C the smell remained and the linens retained that smell. I wish I had taken a picture of this bathroom, so wrong for a BW Hotel.

Room and grounds are always clean and well maintained. Staff has always been courteous and helpful over the span of several visits. Plenty of parking space, a large swimming pool and free breakfast are nice perks. Five stars at a two star price.

On Thursday August 4th we left Richmond Virginia headed for Pennsylvania. We looked on Trip advisor for a place a few hours north of us to break up the trip. We got a $99 price for 2 queen beds. We arrived at 10pm and when I went to check in I was told there was an Extra $200 fee to be charged and it would be put back after we checked out if we had not smoked or stolen things! I have stayed at Best Western Hotels in many states and never had an extra fee added. We had already paid. So we took the fee. As of 3 days later, it is still there!

Checked in 8/3 into room 516. The room had bed bugs. My mother, a senior citizen, saw them and video tapes and photographed one of the larger ones. My husband and I put 2 in a ziplock bag but were told the desk clerk couldn't help because it was booked through a third party--hotels.com.

Great place to stay, super clean rooms, Pleasant service from the staff, close to restaurants, shopping. I would totally recommend this place to anybody. The pool area is great,they even provide clean towels in the pool area.

Stayed there 3 nights.The reason we picked this hotel is that it was away from Washington and it's surrounding areas which are very congested and pricey. The hotel was very busy and fully booked due to a convention but they were still able to service everyone. Our room had a problem light and I called the desk and the handyman was there in 15 mins and fixed the problem! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.The breakfast served many options to please every taste.I would stay here again.

My family & I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It was nice to receive a call up to our room to make sure everything was ok. Our room was fine, beds and pillows were comfortable. Thank you for having enough plugs and USB chargers in the room! Pool was clean - enough towels and plenty of seating. Breakfast was wonderful! We will be back!

We found this hotel clean and efficient. A tour bus load of teenagers came in for 1 night, but were well behaved. Lots to do since we were at a very large mall. The breakfast buffet was kept full by a busy staff.

it is 25min from dc, basic beds, bathroom. breakfast is good. internet is free/fast. staff is helpful. parking is free, there are few restaurants next to the hotel. there is no fridge in the room, iron board provided upon request.

This hotel is big and this is a good thing and a bad thing. This visit had tour buses with hundreds of children from Florida on them. They handled the load and provided us with clean rooms. The television was a flat screen. I love how they had the soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower. There is an iron and ironing board and the room came with a Keureg coffee maker.

I needed a hotel room for a one night stay on a Wednesday night. The area was booked solid so I reluctantly made a reservation at this hotel. What a great choice! When I arrived the outside and lobby was neat, clean and I felt nicely appointed. The registration desk was very busy and the clerk Samone was working along. She did an excellent job of remaining calm, polite and gave each customer the attention they deserved. My room was ready when I got there. It was clean, spacious and nicely appointed. I think because I was recognized as a returning customer, I had a nice bag of snacks and water waiting for me and a jar of Andes Chocolate. While going through the lobby later in the evening I met another employee, Mr. Charles who was equally as polite and engaging. The breakfast was average which is why I gave it four instead of a five but I can't deny they had something for everyone. I would no doubt stay there again and recommend it to family, friends and colleagues.

On Saturday I decided to make a run to Ikea because I needed to purchase some things for my business.We decided to spend the night. I was suprised to get a room at such a great rate on a holiday week-end. It was a very nice room. The bed was a little firm for my liking, but shower felt amazing.

Average hotel. Would not recommend for business. Wi-Fi not up to par. Had to contact front desk each morning. Coffee in breakfast room was instant and terrible. Did not stay for breakfast. Dunkin Donuts locations abound. Shower rod in bathroom was not installed properly. This caused an accumulation of water on the floor each time. There is an exercise room and outdoor pool, neither of which we used. All in all, the hotel was adequate and we would probably stay there again. Great location. Close to shopping and restaurants. Quiet street off the main road.

Checked in late to hotel about 9pm with my husband and 2 children. We found the AC in the room was broken. The AC was broken on a 90 degree day on Memorial Weekend. Spoke to general manager, Melanie Kim, who was rude and unhelpful. Stated she had no other rooms, no fan, and was unwilling to lower the room rate. She suggested that we check out at 10pm at night and find another hotel. There were no other local hotels as a result of the holiday weekend. After relaying that we really had no other options. She still could not offer any other solution except to sleep in the car. She refused to contact the gwneral manager or regional manager. So we are stuck three hours away from home in a hotel room with 2 children! Piss poor excuse for a hotel and crappy customer service to say the least.

The hotel is just ok. The room was clean, and the staff was nice. However, our first night was at best interesting. We were awakened by screaming in the hallway, some type of domestic dispute. Security was called, but it must have went on for about an hour. The walls are paper thin, do we could hear everything. My child had to listen to this disgusting language. I called the front desk, and was told security was working on getting control of the situation. I chose a relatively cheap hotel, but the next trip, I'll spend a bit more, and stay in a different area.

I hate to tell everyone how great Best Western Potomac Mills is when scheduling groups, because I don't want anyone to take my dates. I have brought my school to the DC area for 24 years. Never have I worked with a hotel that is as thorough as these folks. I especially appreciate Charles and Melanie's efforts.

I was pleasantly pleased with the quality of the the hotel service & staff...I received a jar full of chocolates at check-in...towels were in the shape of a swan when I entered the room...nice welcoming touch after a long day of travel....the beds & pillows were amazingly comfortable...Wide variety of food offered at breakfast!! Highly recommended!!

The hotel was not real clean. Found dried up blood on shower curtain. Never a comforting feeling when you pull up and see police officers at the sight.There were signs all around stating "not responsible for theft"

My first room was good and so was the floor it was on. When I had to move because there was no fridge for my medicine the 7th floor seemed gloomy, smelled musty and bad and the fridge looked like someone had beaten it up. Also, the sink is outside the bathroom which is a little inconvenient. Finally, I had trouble with the internet (connecting & using it). I had to call customer service to get on. Pros: the best was extremely comfortable, there were plenty of pillows, the tv worked well and there was plenty of light.

This is the place we stop every year as we return from our spring vacation in Savannah. Excellent value and close to a steak house. Do not want to drive again to eat at the end of a long day of driving,

I liked it especially because it was very clean! That is always my main concern when we travel. The hallways were also very clean and the kitchen was sanitary and kept clean. The workers are very helpful.

We were a family group reserving 3 separate rooms. Our stay was very enjoyable due to the friendly staff, super breakfast buffet, large lobby area for gathering, great location and clean rooms. The candy jar gift was also much appreciated. Thank you for enhancing our stay in the area.

Please understand my rating isn't based on the customer service. Customer service would get 4 stars. It's the accommodations. The decor style is outdated, the beds are horrible to sleep on, don't have back issues,?? and the amenities that are offered are horrible. Yes it was only a short stay but I've been in other Best Westerns and they were so much better. I was disappointed.

OK, so this hotel has not renovated their rooms but they were clean and the beds were comfy. The staff was friendly and best of all, the breakfast had tons of choices and a very large room to enjoy it in.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and find it an excellent location to visit historic Virginia and DC its easy on and off of I 95 the staff is always friendly and helpful the breakfast has some thing for everyone .

My husband and I traveled 5 days to Virginia with a Church group. We got in a day early and decided to stay one night at this Horrible hotel as our reservation at Country Inns & Suites was for the following day. 7 busses filled with kids checked in and happened to be on the same floor as us running up and down the halls, slamming doors screaming, playing on the elevator which was right outside our door, playing with the ice machine. My husband asked politely the first two times to please be quiet then the third time around 9pm. it got to the point where we were about ready to pack up and leave. It got quiet then prank phone calls started. The hotel staff would not take care of this situation at all. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

We have friends in the area and this was about 5 minutes from their house. It is also close to all the Potomac Mills shopping. The room was clean and the furnishings were nice. The staff was friendly and the lady running the breakfast bar area was great. There were 9 tour buses full of teens on a school trip so there was plenty of talking and doors closing all night long. So, ask when making your reservations if a group is booked during your stay. We have learned that next time this will be our first question.

spotless rooms, well appointed, well lit, no smoking stench, linens and towels were very abundant. shower was great- forceful with ample hot water (we know that isn't always the case in many hotels), and fabulous front desk staff. I really appreciated the call reminder the day before we arrived too!

Last year we had a bad experience at BW - Nags head, NC. I was little hesitant this time but it was a nice stay with my family. We went to DC and way back stayed here since it was close to Potomac Mills Mall. Room is clean, good bed and nice pillows. My only complain was bath room. Its' very small w/o any exhaust fan. Even you put the high volume on TV, still you can hear the sound when someone inside the bath room. Staffs are very welcoming and morning breakfast was nice with many verities.

Last year we stayed here on our way to Florida, and this year we stayed on our way home. The place is very clean, and our room was very big. The staff are very nice, and all in all I would say this is one of the nicer Best Westerns. We recommend this spot to all our other Snowbird friends.

On a road trip from NY to Florida stopped here on the way back. Very clean and spacious room. Friendly staff to welcome you. Great selection for breakfast to get you started. The fitness center equipped with all you need not to skip a workout. Planning on a return stay for a shopping weekend.

This is the 5th time we've stayed at Best Western Potomac Mills. It is consistent in quality, service and amenities. Staff are always welcoming and pleasant and, breakfast from 6:00 to 10:00 am is great with good variety to choose from.

My wife and I were going to take the Autotrain to Florida and due to possible weather conditions decided to spend the night in the immediate area. Based upon previous stays at Best Westerns we selected this location and was not disappointed. The hotel is clean, quiet and within 7 miles from the Autotrain. Additionally, they provide an excellent breakfast free of charge. I would return in the future.

We have reason to be in this area one a year and do not even consider another hotel. This Best Western exceeds all expectations of courtesies extended to us The rooms are comfortable and clean The shower is first rate. The breakfast has everything one could ask for

I stayed here for 2 days on a weekend birthday trip and I must say the hotel was AWESOME! the room was big, everything was up to date and clean. And the free breakfast was really nice with lots of choices. We will definitely be staying here again. :)

I stayed at this location for a dance competition. It convenient, the staff was super nice and helpful, and the rooms were great sizes. I will definitely think about staying at a Best Western again. The free breakfast was so good. The best coffee ever!!!! We loved our experience at Best Western! The breakfast was so good :)

I like the hotel, very clean and close to the mall. We enjoy our stay and we will go back in the near future. The room was clean. Front desk attendant was nice, although I had to wait a few minutes to be acknowledge because she was on the phone.

I've stayed here 5 times this year, for a total of 9 nights (so far). Perfectly adequate hotel with a good, hot buffet breakfast included. The staff are always pleasant and friendly, and the beds are very comfortable. Wifi is free and reliable. The hotel does not have a bar or restaurant but is on the outskirts of Potomac Mills shopping area with many major chains (Outback, Bahama Breeze) and some stand alone restaurants. There are food places within walking distances, and some are a short drive. The fitness center equipment is adequate but could do with an upgrade.

The hotel was located w/in 45 minutes from home and just around the corner from venue where I attended an event. There were a number of eateries and a major shopping outlet in the area. I considered this a plus.

Stayed at this hotel two nights, in two different dates. On first date, they cancelled my room, stating that I was arriving late. The website where I made the reservation states that the room is guaranteed for late arrival. The receptionist did nothing to correct the situation or help in any way. He was the perfect "poker face" individual you could ever see. Had to get numerous phone calls with the manager to have my money refunded. Second time other receptionist was asking to pay a holding fee of $200 for incidentals, despite the fact that I am a Best Western reward program member. The money are retained within minutes from your bank account - but are refunded in 2-3 business days. I am in a third day of leaving the hotel and my holding amount hasn't been refunded. I was giving no receipt for my stay and had hard time to sit with the receptionist to check my best rewards member visit, not to mention that the small gifts that should receive were not handed. The room towels are very old and worn-out and pillows are very small and cheap.

The staff was GREAT and friendly. The room was clean. Attention was payed to remote cleaning and toilets. No bed spreads but the beds were comfortable. The breakfast had a variety of choices but the meat was of low quality. best thing was the waffles.

The entire floor smelled like .smoke and Marijuana. The General Manager George is very irate and assaulted a female guest when we were.checking out. The female had to call the police due to the manager putting his hands on her. He was very disrepectful towards guest and that female. He is an awful representation of the hotel and it's management team

The staff were all very professional and caring. The hotel was clean, modern, spacious and there were numerous dining options nearby. There was a good variety, on the breakfast buffet and they had a great coffee selection. My only recommendation would be replacing the sausage, with a more appetizing brand and actually making the eggs look scrambled. The grandkids loved the waffles and pancakes, with strawberries and I was happy with yogurt, fruit and oatmeal.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Woodbridge is affordable, clean and the breakfast buffet was very good and very well organized ….Parking is good with many free spaces, but is a little bit dark and need some improvement.

We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff and promptly checked in with the gift of a candy treat. After settling into our room staff called to make sure the accommodations were okay and that we had everything that we needed. When I had trouble with the wifi and the front desk staff was unable to help I was promptly given the number to tech support and who politely reset the router and had everything back in order within 5 minutes even though it was 2:00 am that I was calling. The room was clean and well stocked with complementary snacks, tea and coffee with a Keurig. We requested a microwave and mini-fridge both of which worked as expected. Room also had an iPhone dock, usb charging ports and easy access power outlets on the bedside table, as well as usb charging ports and power outlets on the room desk. The room had a multitude of towels (some of which were arranged is lovely animal shapes on one bed) and two bath robes. The bathroom was a smaller one but it was exceedingly clean, water was hot and water pressure seemed quite adequate. The body wash and shampoo in the shower was well stocked and the sink area was stocked with a beauty bar, make-up remover and mouth wash. My bed was a tad soft but pillowcases, sheets, blanket and comforter were clean, soft and warm and we slept quite well. We each had three standard pillows on our beds. Room temperature was very good even though it was 14 degrees outside. Breakfast area was well stocked and clean and the food was good. Check out was a breeze. Parking lot was clean and well lit. Halls clean, carpets beautifully spotless and decorated with live plants. The building was a little older but so well kept it was almost negligible. The only place I found to be slightly dirty/dusty was the corner in one of the elevators.

Booked this room for two days. Hotel was extremely clean, staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast buffet was impressive. Room was well decorated, clean & enjoyed the towel swan left on the bed. Excellent value if you come for the weekend to shop at the mall.

The only do not like about this time the staff reception lie to me about my suggestion, because i ask for one single room and she giving to me her choose, if i am not to tired i left immediately but i can not continue driven, and back to ask why she giving to me this room and she say to me this is the standard room, i stay in the hotel all the time and this is not the true. if you want to continue have more customer need to giving to the customer what she ask not what the staff want it.

Good value for the rate we paid. Great location, Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Very clean room and even had a swan towel creation! No pool or refrigerator but we were fine with this since we were only staying one night.

Good location between South Carolina and New York. Always a large comfortable room with a full hot breakfast. We especially enjoy the pancake maker. The dining area is large enough for groups with small tables that accommodate singles and couples.The express check out is a great feature, no lines at the desk. just pack and go.

We were looking to find a hotel south of DC on our trip to South Carolina from Vermont on Christmas Day. This location was very convenient and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. An added plus was probably one of the best restaurant areas we have experienced at hotels that include a breakfast. Thanks for a very relaxing experience after a very long drive.

Very nice hotel at a very reasonable price. Rooms are okay but could use updating. Staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. the breakfast was excellent with many choices and good quality food. Parking was plentiful and access to I-95 was also good.

Since I got a special rate I was a little concerned about the quality of the hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised. Nice room with comfortable beds. We were going to a funeral celebration and were allowed to check in early. Breakfast was definitely better than the average. Would stay again when in DC area.

we live nearby and stayed here once when we just needed a night away from our doggies! it was clean, very comfortable, had nice toiletries and good quality linens. very friendly and professional staff. a good value.

I found nothing to complain about at this hotel. Great rooms and great breakfast bar. Excellent! The location was fabulous as well if you wish to do any shopping or find a great place to eat. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was based on the low price I paid.

One of the best values that I have experienced in many years. I stayed for three nights while in town for a training seminar. The level of my overall experience far exceeded my expectations relative to the price. Aside from a clean room that functions well the breakfast bar is the second most valued feature in a hotel of this type. The breakfast bar again exceeded my expectations in terms of offerings. Many hotels offer only a continental breakfast but this hotel offered a hot bar as well. I expect to return to this area for future training classes and will not hesitate to book a room at this hotel.

We took a road trip from SW Florida to NYC and stopped at different hotels/motels along the way. This Best Western Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, VA was by far the best place we stayed. The location felt safe and there were many restaurants in the area. The woman at the front desk was very professional and personable. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was amazing.

We stayed for the convenience of shopping. We had an adjacent room access door. The clients in that room were continuously trying to gain access to our room. It was just me and my granddaughter. I complained to staff with no results and also those people had relations all night. So loud we first thought the female was being abused. A terrible example to set for a teenager!!!! With no assistance from staff at all!!!

The purpose of our stay was to visit with family in the area. We very much enjoyed our accommodations at Best Western Potomac Mills, Woodbridge, VA. When we return for a family visit we will definitely stay at this same hotel. The location is very convenient for our purposes and the hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. Service is excellent and the staff are so warm and welcoming.

Booked for 4 days. At 12:20 am on Monday the door was opened. I was scared and startled. A man said he was security checking empty rooms. This despite the Do Not Disturb on the door. I reported it to Nadia at that desk and was told it was a mistake but it was really a security person. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep that night. Next morning when I asked Ms. Kim at the desk about it she said she didn't know anything about it. There should have been reported to the day manager the next day. Then when I looked at my emailed bill on Tuesday it belonged to someone else. (W. Bell of room 608 would love to know that I have his address and other information.) When I showed it to the desk clerk, Harold, he apologized and assured me that my bill wouldn't have gone to anyone else. Gee, I wonder why I don't believe that. I also received a call on Sunday on my message machine for Mr. Baumgardner. who was no longer a guest Paula at the front desk apologized for that error.

We have stayed at this Best Western hotel 5 of the 6 years we have come to Woodbridge for the DC Victory Campaign held at the Hylton Memorial Chapel by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. We have never been disappointed. The staff is professional and diligent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is excellent with easy access to Potomac Mills and other shopping, regional attractions, restaurants and I-95.

It was one of the closest places to our conference. The breakfast was decent. The Wi-Fi was terrible. There was plenty of restaurants near the hotel. It was in a very business like part of Woodbridge, Virginia.

The staff that greeted us upon our arrival was super efficient and professional. The breakfast selections were vast and the space was lovely. We were upgraded to a nicer room at no additional charge. We have family that lives nearby and we will definitely stay here again!

No complaints. Room was clean and updated. Bathroom small but included everything you need. including lots of towels. Breakfast was a spread of options, hot and cold. All kinds of restaurants very near by, well lit parking areas. No smoking facility. No pets. Front desk wasn't very welcoming.

Stayed from October 19th - 22nd 2015 with a school group with approximately 180 kids and adults. The room my son and I stayed in appeared to be clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Our first morning may have been a little overwhelming for the breakfast staff as our whole group tried to eat at the same time. Food was ok with a good variety for a hotel breakfast area. The location is about 30 +/- minutes from DC depending on traffic. Overall opinion of this hotel is very good and would definitely stay here again.

The exterior is beautiful well maintained and very clean. The check in process was very fast with friendly staff. The room was clean could do with some updating but other than that it was clean and did not smell all closed up as I have experience with other brands. The room was well stocked. They provide a good breakfast with a range of items to choose from.

The front desk girl was very nice. I checked in Saturday morning 10/10/2015. My stay was wonderful. I enjoyed it to the fullest. My children enjoyed the breakfast. They had jelly donuts (which is unheard of), bagels, toast, croissants, oatmeal, waffles, etc. We stayed on the 6th floor and the view was awesome. The decor was very nice too. I loved everything about it. Especially, the potomac mills everything was so close to our hotel we couldn't ask for anything better.

I have stayed at this hotel several times on an overnight basis on my way to or from Connecticut, now New Jersey. I am impressed by the the professionalism of the staff and the design and comfort of the rooms. As a business traveler, I have stayed at many hotels over the years, but none have impressed me as this one did. This is now my hotel of choice when traveling.

When my party and I arrived at the hotel, we were informed that the hotel electric key system was down. But the staff provided members with escorts to the rooms to unlock the doors for us each time we needed to get back into our rooms. The staff was just great and very apologetic for this unforeseen problem. I think that they handled it professional and amicably!

I have stayed at this hotel since I have been coming to Woodbridge and have never been disappointed.It is convenient, always very clean, the breakfast is outstanding. I have never encountered a problem with the room, wi-fi, breakfast. On my first visit, over 15 years ago it was with my elderly mother who was very concerned about safety. It passed her critical assessment. The only small problem was the key card maker for the room wasn't working when we checked in so we had to be escorted to our room when we went out. Hope it was repaired.

It was decent, they need more cable channels, very limited selection. A fridge and microwave would be nice to have in the rooms without having to ask. Other hotels have it without asking.Overall it was nice.

We had a great stay here. Beautiful lobby and dining area. Our room was nice, looks like the floor had recently been redone, though other rooms had older-looking carpeting. The bed was great, very comfy. Old style bathroom--small with sink outside the bathroom. Modern LCD TV, universal "sanitary" remote, so you didn't have access to all the settings for the TV--someone figured out how to "zoom in" on the picture and I didn't know how to zoom it back out. Great breakfast buffet with several hot items & 3 waffle makers. It is just behind a large strip mall--we were drawn to a nice used book store there.
