Best Western Plus Winnipeg Airport Hotel

Stayed here before and after before flying to Mexico. Park and fly available. On-site restaurant and lounge was a bonus as we got in late on both ends of the trip. Free breakfast for upper level Best Western members. Clean and spacious rooms.

This place was a nightmare from beginning to end. I arrived quite late and called to book the airport shuttle which I had been assured ran 24 hours and could be at the airport within minutes. They told me it was on its way. Ten minutes later, I called wondering where it was and I was told it had been “dispatched.” I had to keep venturing outside in the bitter cold to look for it to no avail. I called again ten minutes later and they assured me it was en route. Another ten minutes later, they finally told me to take a taxi and they would pay for it (making me wonder if indeed the shuttle was never on its way after all. That did the trick even though I was very uncomfortable asking a taxi to take me a very short distance rather than pick up a more lucrative airport fare after waiting who knows how long. The hotel itself was not great, though the front desk staff were very friendly. The coffee machine in the lobby which I had been told would be available in the morning was “locked” while the restaurant was open so no time even for coffee before having to catch an early morning flight. The plumbing and heating system were antiquated though the room was clean and spacious. Avoid this place at all costs!

We stayed a Friday and Saturday night that had weddings going on each night we were there. Even though we were on the top floor, 6 floors above the banquet rooms, the bass from the music was still coming into our room late at night. Our room was on the side directly above the banquet rooms so perhaps the rooms on the sides were quieter. We booked the room using a Best Western gift card and the credit was only received after having to call back to the hotel with the issue. Getting a breakfast credit at Dalton's for each night stay was a surprise and a nice touch though.

Was flying into Winnipeg late at night. Flight was delayed a couple times and wouldn't make it until the morning. Tried to cancel but was basically told that it wasn't their problem. Was told it was non refundable so it was my fault when booking. Wasn't offered anything in return. Won't be staying here ever again

We stayed for one night, and it was excellent service. The room was clean and tidy, and pillows are my love from the first sight. I slept as a child!! And I love how they upgraded the TV, they are huge now! I'm extremely satisfied!

First of all, when you try calling them, they're busy. They don't pick up, your call gets disconnected. They should pick up the phone a few minutes after calling, and say “this is Best Western, how may I help you?”. They should say “one moment please”. They let me check in early, that was nice of them but they had to change my sheets on one of the beds. There were two little spots of blood stains. The window sills had mold and were very dirty. The hallways are very old and they could use new paint on the walls and new carpets. They could use new windows in the bedrooms and they should advertise whether they have free breakfast for people staying there or only for best western members. The breakfast had egg, French toast, meat, bread, yogurt, pastry, juice and fresh fruit but the eggs were cold. The coffee was good but the restaurant needs new carpet or no carpet. The restaurant food was OK but they gave me a very small menu for lunch and it was very pricey. They charged me $16 for chicken fingers and french fries. The carpets in my room were new which is good. In my books, this Best Western should not be a best western plus. The only actual nice part of the hotel was the pool. They should embarrassed to have their name on the building in general. In the pool, there was only two workable jets in the hot-tub whereas normally they gave 5 or 6. This best western is only worth maximum $100 but I payed before taxes $157. I will not be staying at this Best Western again, I'll be staying at a different one. I have contacted Best Western head office to tell them about my experience, and I'll see how they will handle it. I suggest they shut it down, or do a complete renovation and then reopen it. I was only there for one night; I don't recommend it.

This place is not safe to stay. Me and my friends stayed for a night and we had strangers knocking on the door multiple times a night. Drunk man and three females tried to come in claiming to be security. We called 911 as well but police did not show up until morning to do a wellness check which means it is very common happening at this hotel. The room wasn't extraordinary, not very clean and we had a couple broken things in the bathroom. I would never recommend this place for any reason

The standard is set with best western plus Winnipeg airport. The location is perfect for Winnipeg airport travel. It's like a 5 minute drive to the airport. Restaurant was delicious and reasonable given the food quality. I found everything I needed close to the best western property. Rooms are a good size and hallways are quiet. I will only attend this hotel everytime I am in Winnipeg!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very comfortable & clean. The staff members on checking & out were friendly & helpful. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Totally disgusted with the reception and receptionist clerk Nadia. When checking out I advised I wanted to use my other credit card not the one they took he imprint with. She wass very difficult to talk to then advises me the hotel had already put the charge through. I have tavelled and stayed at many hotels mostly Best Westeern and they have never put the charge through prior to my checking and signing the card charge. They have no manager available to discuss this issue and the overcharge for the room. When weekends are usually the busyiest for a hotel they have no on-site manager. WOW that leaves the custormer with no service whatsoever. When I called Monday the rcption manager stated the staff told him I was abusive. What a crock of baloney. This Nadia lied. I o not recommend this hotel; 1. they do not honor their discount prices; 2. they lack severe service on weekends 3. the saff are unhelpful and lie about their customer.

Rude front desk clerk. Did not honour room discount for wedding party. No manager present. Poorly trained front desk. Unprofessional team. When calli ng the manager 2 days later he was not interested in solving the poor customer service I received. They charged my credit card after they told me previously I could use my debit at checkout.

Buffet hot Breakfast included for 2, upgraded to king bed for free, lots of amenities included. The cable tv was a bit underwhelming with just a few channels and basic remote, but in the age of tech, the tv is just there to fall asleep to.

NOISY! I had to call the front desk twice, loud neighbors, banging of doors. If you have little kids, do not stay here. EXTREMELY DIRTY FLOORS! Our room has a sticky patch, looks like it was not vacuumed! Find a different Hotel!

I had a great stay at the BW plus, excellent guess service. Would definitely book my stay there again in the near future. And I do recommend this hotel to all my friends whenever they are in Winnipeg.

Very clean hotel, close to the airport and Polo Park. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Lots of good hot and cold options and it was all fresh and tasty. We didn't use the pool because it was quite busy.

The food was really expensive for a buffet and it was not included in the room most of the best western we stay at the breakfast was included with the room. The rooms were very clean but some of the lights didn't work at all and there was no lounging chair in the room just a desk chair not good for someone that can't sit on the bed for a long time.

Hotel staff is amazing, rooms are a little dated. Breakfast was great. Hotel shuttle was running a little behind, the hotel staff unprompted by us, phoned a cab and paid for it to make sure we made it to the airport on time.

Check in was quick.Lots of parking. I am a VIP Expedia member and I didn't get all of the perks listed except the $10 restaurant voucher.The room is clean and spacious with a fridge,coffee maker and microwave.The pool area is nice but limited seating with just 2 tables and it's not a heated pool.Restaurant was good food

We used this hotel as a last resort as our car broke down and when we got there it had already been a long day, to arrive and get a room with almost no AC in 30⁰ weather, we were sweating through the night. It's definitely not worth the price we paid to stay

We were extremely unhappy with this hotel overall. The window in our room was totally broken and had to stay open and we didn't know this untill the next morning when we opened the curtain(I have a photo), the ac was non existent in the sofa bed room, it was hot and uncomfortable meanwhile the room by the window and ac we were freezing. We called down they sent someone to check which he tried to change the thermostat on the wall and nothing changed.. we didn't find out till the morning that that thermostat on the wall wasn't even working for the ac what's so ever and the ac had it's own build in buttons hidden under a hood.. why didn't your maintance guy know about this when he came to “help” us? We also asked for a fan which didn't make a difference, the ice machine was broken on the third floor which I had heard from other people staying had been broken for 3+ days, I moved the couch in the sofa bed room to make more room to find gross old chips under it. All in all I will never ever stay here again and will tel all my friends and family the same. We did mention all this to the staff who checked us out who nicely gave us 10,000 points but we will not use them because as I stated I will never stay at any of these hotels. This room was gross and disgusting.

Had a very nice experience at the Best Western Plus Winnipeg Airport, Would highly recommend staying there if you have a chance. The staff at all levels make you feel welcomed and they are all so friendly. If you want a lovely night in the city then this is one place you will surely want to stay is.

First impressions...cigarette butts all over front entranceway, room card did not work had to go back to front desk, no complimentary bottled water as @ previous BW, hotel had an unpleasant smell, fortunately I am staying only 1 nite

38 degrees outside and air conditioning not working- staff fix next day Bugs for three days-locust family bugs 2” Broken glass in room on carpet Nails cut feet in carpet Dirty soiled couch in room Stains everywhere Wedding music on untill midnight pounding on first floor Broken glass in parking lot from break ins Security increase patrol when children are staying with tournaments were negotiated Broken window from break in on first floor with tape Shady neighbourhood with meth addicts and police at the local Walmart Multiple floors taken up by refugees from multiple countries…. Perhaps not a common mix for tournament teams with little kids, people were sprawled on floor in hallways eating and buses blocked parking lot. Dirty ceilings, handles, floors, couches, All the staff was polite and responsive except for manager and one front desk man.

This hotel is very run down. The rooms are damp, smell like mildew/laundry that sat in the washer, and the carpet leaves your feet black. Our friends had nails sticking out of the carpet in their room. Others changed rooms immediately due to it smelling like urine. The power went out twice during our stay, and a friend got trapped in the elevator and was understandably terrified. The coffee machine in the lobby got marked out of order the first day, and when we asked for coffee from the restaurant, they wanted us to pay $3 or use a breakfast voucher. The workout room is tiny, with only one functioning treadmill. Running or walking outside is not an option, due to the hotel's location. The only good things were that the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the restaurant's food was very good.

The condition of this hotel was terrible. The carpet is ripping up in the guest rooms. I had to have the chair in my room replaced as it was originally blue now a gross color of brown, with extensive rips in the chair arms. Staff brought in a new one that was only slightly better. The bathtub in the room was difficult to turn on and off as the taps are so old and worn. There are cracks in the wall finishing and while the TV service was being upgraded, there were basically no watchable TV channels. The bed was old, sagged badly, and uncomfortable. The staff was good, other than a check-in the desk clerk seemed quite confused on the process. The restaurant had a very limited menu and the service was extremely slow I stay at a lot of Best Western hotels but I will not be returning to this one, it needs to be entirely gutted and renewed before I would go back. There are a lot of other options near this hotel that would be preferable

We have stayed at this location several times over the years and always found our stay to be very satisfactory. however, this visit which took place for the first time in at least 3 to 4 years didn't meet the high standard we have come to expect from the Best Western chain at least for this particular visit. My over all impression of the facility was that it felt and looked a little bit frumpy and weary at least where the room was concerned. The furniture showed a great deal of wear and tear. A reading lamp was defective as was the phone charging center. After driving a good distance i enjoy catching a little TV to wind down and due to some problem with the cable service provider the TV listings and the actual stations available were completely scrambled, and at times the whole system would go off line. while not being the fault of the hotel the experience added to its over all dowdiness. Maybe we have been spoiled but we were disappointed that the coffee dispenser in the lobby had neither cream or sugar substitute available something we have always found at every other BW location we have stayed at. However, the staff and the service was excellent and the beds were comfortable and spotless and the pillows more than adequate. The public spaces were modern and smart looking and very clean however, the rooms looked and felt just a little run down. .

Staff is extremely friendly. Everyone was welcoming and the rooms are pretty clean. They helped with planning my wedding and hotel accommodations. They went above and beyond. If you are looking for good eats. I would recommend checking out their restaurant. The lounge is nice has a great vibe to it. Really relaxing. The pool is on the cooler side. But the hot tub is amazing.

My son was stranded today at Winnipeg Airport for over 9 hours waiting only to find out his connecting flight was cancelled while trying to get home for Christmas. After 6 hours of trying to get help from anyone at the airline, Lyka and the manager at the Best Western Winnipeg Airport hotel stepped in to help. Lyka was amazing and immediately got him a shuttle and assured me he would be taken care of. They didn't price gauge and it was obvious they were just wanting to help out an do the right thing. The Best Western is lucky to have Lyka working for them - to say I am impressed is an understatement. Thank you for the bottom of my heart for making this mom very very happy and looking after my son.

Lovely Hotel with the friendliest staff. I was happy to be here, everything was on the highest level! I would definitely recommend this place and will be happy to come again. Big thanks to everyone who works in Best Western.

With a ball team staying in this hotel. I would give it 4.5 stars for the staff, who were very friendly and accommodating. Had a late game and restaurant closed at 10 pm. We pre-ordered and they had it ready for us and warm for when we got back (after 10 pm). Staff was great. Zero stars for Hotel itself - in dire need of repair and upgrades. Broken windows, slow wifi. Fridges that froze everything solid even when set to minimum. Musty smell. Leaking taps. Room cards always not working. One window boarded up with plywood. They moved us to 2 different rooms with no broken windows. Advice - Look for another hotel. There were also some sketchy people walking in off the street one afternoon while we sat in lobby. Ready to cause some trouble. I will not stay here again.

We recently had our son's wedding at Best Western Plus. It was extremely hot that day and the air conditioning in the hotel was practically non existent. The air conditioning in the rooms worked but filters were Grey with dust. In our room our window was sealed with tape My son and daughter in law were give a free room with their wedding package. They had to wait until the start of their reception to check in because the room was cleaned and when they did finally check there was clothes left in it. They went to use the jacuzzi and it didn't work. They called matainence to fix it. He got it working but the water was only warm. When they turned the Jets on the water went brown from the filthy Jets. At their reception the vegetables weren't the same as at their tasting. They almost lost the blown glass cake top and made a mess of cutting the cake. When we went to them they denied everything and offered them no compensation except another free night and $75 food voucher in that hotel. I called the hotel manager I have had no response. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone because once they have their money they don't care

It was the worst stay at any hotel I have every experienced. In fact, we checked out after 2 nights because I just couldn't take it anymore. Where to start... The hotel has been turned into an Ukranian Hotel and is running wild with kids with no supervision. My husband was knocked over by a young child (with no parent around) punching him, the kids were riding the elevators (with no supervision), the kids were playing soccer in the hallways, their was a dog that barked all day and night long in the room across the hall from us, the kids pulled the fire alarm and there was NO staff anywhere to been seen directing us where to go, what to do or even tell us when we could go back. I got no sleep for 2 nights and when I went to talk to the front desk - they were no where to been seen and when I finally talked to someone they said oh, sorry and walked away... WTF? I was a paying guest and should have been informed of the Ukrainian situation prior to arrival. We felt afraid to leave our hotel room as the wild children were everywhere and due to them riding the elevators all the time, it took 20 mins or so to even get an elevator. It was INSANE! Oh and just to add to it all, our TV only worked on a few channels and when they sent maintenance to fix it... All Maintenance did was say, "Sorry, that's just they way it is". Because the channels were so few, we spent $25 to rent a movie but the sound was so low we could hardly hear it... Again, mention it to the front desk and they just said sorry. After 2 nights of this insanity, I checked out and went to a different hotel to enjoy the rest of my vacation. Oh, and did I mention the children were swimming in the front fountain? and when you walked by you got soaking wet? Oh yes, good times! NOT! I was horrified and will NEVER stay at another Best Western again - I own an aviation company and the Best Western used to be my go to hotel but after this experience I am going to become a member of a different hotel chain.... Oh, also forgot to mention that as a Platinum member I usually get recognized and thanked for my business but not here... What happened to the Best Western? So disappointing! and have to say I am mad!

Very nice hotel and very clean and comfortable good food in restaurants, only thing is no convenient shopping and no gift shops and in room guides for nearby shops and restaurants in area but maybe stay here again when and if I visit Canada again

I have been coming to this property for years. It is so lovely and quality is always good. I miss the breakfast buffet and i legit wish I got the contact info of the shuttle driver. He was so friendly and I wish you all the best with your education! Even security was friendly and helpful. Love this place. Ty for helping a disabled indigenous person feel safe.

This hotel was not clean. I was there with 3 colleagues, and only one of us had our room cleaned, one day. No answer when calling front desk. Garbage bags and dirty towels in piles in the hall. No breakfast as advertised.

I have always enjoyed staying at this hotel for its proximity to the airport and key shopping areas. I have not been to the hotel in nearly two years, and the pandemic has made things difficult. Staffing shortages meant that our room wasn't made up between the two nights which was a disappointment. Staff was and always has been helpful and accommodating.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel April 22-24, 2022. Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff (this is not at all on them), clean rooms. Cons: Spotty TV channels, bad WiFi, cold pool & hot tub, dirty pool area, leaking roof by the elevators on floor 6, soaking wet floors in the Fitness area to where the gym wasn't even useable. Most of this is attributed to the unbelievably bad parenting of the hordes of wild children running around the hotel that weekend. Apparently there were multiple sports teams staying in the hotel that weekend. They left soaking wet towels all over the place, band-aids and gunk floating in the hot tub, rendered the fitness area a literal pool, let their kids scream at all hours of the night and even let them play floor hockey in the middle of the lobby with utter disregard for the other guests. I feel terrible for the staff who had to deal with the mess.

I rolled into town later in the evening and most of the other hotels were booked. I had never stayed here before but I am a BW fan and while the hotel is not brand new, I was not disappointed. The hotel did show its age, but the staff made the experience well worth it. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip to the ‘Peg!

Cleanliness of the rooms were ok. Staff was ok. Hand sanitizer containers near elevator were empty. Staff with cleaning carts pushing their way into elevators before clients could get in. This poor hotel desperately needs help. Shuttle service to the airport comprised of an unidentified man in a mask with no id or identification to show and an unmarked vehicle. Yet we were supposed to get in a regular vehicle and trust this was a shuttle.

Nice hotel. Close to everything downtown as well as the airport. The rooms were clean and quiet and the staff was professional and courteous. I would come back for sure and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

The was a room, it had a bed, the bed was clean, the water was cold, the fridge worked, the lights worked, the internet was decent, but the tv sucked, you need a sound bar to hear, bring an hdmi cord cause they dont have any, if possible bring your own universal remote cause theirs sucks... if your a snobby person, don't stay here, its not for you upper class a**, its for us commoners... Front staff could be a little friendlier but thats the way of front desk these days, no heart in the game, paycheck players... The pool is cold as a pond, the tepid hot tub could use a little more heat, maybe the sun heats the pool in the summer, or its hot and feels good to be in freezing water!

Do not stay here because their beds will give you back problems... their beds are so old and sink in like a banana.. horrible horrible. I would never stay here again.. this hotel needs to invest in new beds.. I can't believe how old their beds are and no has even posted a word about them

Bed unmade after 1 day, room not serviced, trash not emptied, ran out of coffee, WIFI almost non existent, Shower good but no soap etc on second day until requested. Towels not changed, Pool heater broken.

The hotel was clean and the staff were excellent. Only complaint was the satellite for the television was not functioning. Most channels could not get signal and the others kept freezing. Only got about 4 channels clearly. The restaurant and lounge were excellent. Overall the stay was great for an overnight stop.

Stayed here one night this time. I usually stay here due to location (close to the airport) and the restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open this time. However, there are plenty of restaurants to chose from within a short drive.

I was asked to upgrade on check in. I did it for the $10.00, wow was it an upgrade!! It was a suite with jetted tub, steam shower small kitchenette!! It was truly incredible stay and was only $130.00 for the night (we stayed 4 nights) It will be my hotle and room of choice from now on!

Room was ok and clean. However, parking not the safest. My car got broken into plus 5 other cars. Of course hotel not liable. Such a hassle. Hotel side door padlock, cant use access card, reason for me to move parking spot then was broken into... grrrr

Hotel is beautiful and clean and the staff went out of their way to provide over the top service. However, sorrowly understaffed and smokers ran rampant. Cigarette smokers ruined my meal and woke me at 3:30 am, while sneaking a puff in their rooms or opening and closing their doors non-stop to go into the stairwells or outside for a smoke.

We had to stay in the city last minute and looked quickly online and found this was one of the hotels still available that night, we went to the hotel and was told we needed a visa but had no credit card to book a room, they still have us the room anyway paying with cash..the rooms were spotless, had internet and clean beds..highly recommend anyone to stay at the hotel anytime!

Usually very good, but wifi didn't work, bathroom sink clogged with hair, TV channels listed wrong and all but six were available and there was a flashing green light that I had to dull with one of the pillows off the bed. Food was good and the beds are comfortable.

Rooms are very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very nice property. Lots of parking and great location. Highly recommend this property. Restaurant and lounge with very tasty food for reasonable price.

Condescending day clerk, tried to charge us double on our two pets, even though we were told twice by the check in clerk the rate was 15 total, NOT for each pet. Day clerk had terrible behaviour and showed his displeasure with us in front of another customer. USB port, did not operate in room. TV sound kept on totally cutting out, TV remote did not operate all the time, had to keep pushing buttons. Training of front desk staff needs to be addressed, the “experience” day shift, front desk clerk could not process a best western gift card, had to set aside for his manager to process. We did not get a proper receipt because of this, but we did get the managers card with the amount left owing and a notation that a gift card was used. I stayed at this hotel about 8 years plus back and used it as a jumping off point for my job in Alberta, back then the staff at the desk was great and plentiful, rooms were very good and all items int he room functioned as prescribed. Rooms were a lot cleaner also. As this is presumably a best western plus, you would think that the parent corporation would throw some money into this hotel to keep there brand name up to a high standard.

People coming in at 3 in the morning with loud music and no one cared. Night staff was too busy at 3am to get us checked out, get our shuttle or give us our pre ordered togo breakfast. The area is good to catch a plane.

Location is good few crew are nice but the performance on cleanliness is not nice.We expect a nice and comfortable stays if we ask to clean a room we expect it was been cleaned .. specially the washrooms

WiFi on the 6th floor did not work at all. Tv did not work properly. People yelling in the middle of the night. Key cards hardly worked and I needed new ones almost every day. (placed on pocket with nothing else)

I have stayed at this hotel many time. Location is great for the airport. Exercise room is good, so is the hot tub, especially if you have had a long drive. Price is right, too. Will stay here again, especially if the price remains constant.

Upon check in we were informed our room was upgraded to a King suite. After three hours of driving it was a pleasant surprise. We've always found BW offers good value, but this particular property continuously offers competent and efficient staff and nice comfortable, clean rooms :)

Pleasant atmosphere, nice people at front desk, clean quiet room. The bed was comfy and my wife and I both had a great sleep. Overall great place and fair pricing. Close to the airport. Check in was quick and efficient and the people at the desk were considerate and helpful.

We rented 2 rooms for 2 nights. One was a king suite, we were given a regular room with a king bed, the other was a normal 2 bed room, the rooms were on two different floors. No internet in the rooms, after repeatedly asking why, over our stay, the manager on duty laughed at us saying, "we have internet here", and continues to laugh. Not funny. We were promised a phone call from the hotel to rectify our complaints, nothing. Shame on you and the company you represent. We have been home for almost a week and all is silent from the Best Western Plus Airport Winnipeg, Manitoba.

I travel to a northern community and use the airport hotels as an overnight stop - this involves extensive shopping on a short timeline. My situation is common in this area. Carts are at a premium, make sure your muscles are in good shape for lots of lifting; also, they don't steer well. Do any of them? Reception is a bit frustrated, I'm rooting for management to solve a few issues around luggage and security doors. Good Luck BW, you're not a bad place. Certainly worth the money, the room was great.

Lovely beds, lovely room, but the wifi was broken in multiple floors of the hotel. Hotel staff were notified and nothing was done. Brought it up multiple times and was brushed off. No compensation. 0*

This hotel used to be my regular place to stay when I came to Winnipeg. Used to be. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is the house manager on our first night. He is wonderful and tried to do what he can despite being over worked and under supported. First, there was no breakfast. I remember getting a little slip of paper for a free breakfast at the restaurant with my stay, but I guess they aren't doing that anymore. My first night started with our keys not working and needing to go back and get new keys so we could move in. Then we ended up in a room where the tv glitched and would freeze and we were unable to obtain a solid connection to the wifi. They moved us rooms, where we then had to go back down and get the new keys for the new room down the hall. In our new room the wifi still was weak so we had to hot spot from the data on our phones to get internet access. The TV guide and channel names also didn't align with the actual channels and so we had difficulty finding something to watch to try to help us unwind. We were finally settled, as is. The next night we returned to our room to our keys not working again. We went back down to the front desk to find they did a door lock upgrade, but didn't post this at the front desk area so everyone was going up to their rooms to find that their keys weren't working and returning back down to get new keys. Once in our room, the wifi continued to not work and we had to hot spot from our phones again. Then at about 5:15am the fire alarm was pulled and we all had to exit the building. Not the hotel's fault, but on our way in no staff greeted us to explain what happened or apologize for the inconvenience, or offer a free breakfast. We all lined up for the elevators to get back to our rooms. I'm not impressed at all. I won't be back.

The wifi is so very slow. Don't expect to be able to use it for any amount of work. But that is my only complaint about my stay. The room seemed very clean, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the coffee is good. The rooms and common areas are spacious and the price great. It was also nice and quiet (I know I had neighbours on both sides but I never heard a peep). I'll be staying here again!

We were so happy to find a hotel accommodation this particular evening after driving a 1000+ kms even though lacking in bed space we opted to take it so we can rest our tired body. This is an old hotel as you can smell the smelly floor carpet all over

Have stayed here in the past. Although the rooms are showing some wear, the proximity to the airport is great. For our last stay, when we walked into the room, it was uncomfortably hot. We turned the AC down to chill the room, and went to bed. Woke up and the room was stifling, so I tried to open the window but the crank was broken, and there was a huge amount of dust and tree fluff in between the screen and the window. I would not have opened it anyway, to let all that dirt/pollen/etc. blow into the room. In the morning, after waking up one hour late (both clocks in the room were 1 hour behind), went to make coffee and there was one pod and one cup only. Went into the bathroom to wash up only to discover that there was only ONE facecloth! Only one drinking glass as well!!

This location is the first place we look at when we travel to Winnipeg. It's close to the airport with free shuttle service to and from. The staff is great, friendly, courteous and professional. Rooms are good and clean. Great restaurant just off the lobby. Great value for the money. Stayed here many times.

This hotel was because it's a Best Western. I expected more. I chose this one because of its proximity to the airport and downtown figuring it might be better equipped for travelers during Covid. It want busy there but our floor was... Our room was exposed to the busier street meaning noisier due to street traffic. The ice machine didn't work on our floor. With minimal business over the past few months why use this floor and why hadn't it been fixed? The topper was the lack of internet access. Two calls to the front desk and then a call from an IT person suggesting the problem was with our four different devices did not resolve the issue despite the settings telling us there was no connection. A promised call back never came. A fan blowing on their servers in the lobby may have been a clue. Next morning's complaint to the new front desk person fell on deaf ears " I know nothing about it, I just started my shift". A nice enough hotel otherwise. But people need internet access in hotel these days. When I booked the room a few hours earlier while en route to Winnipeg I asked for a CAA discount which was agreed too. After leaving I noticed no discount had been applied - my bad for not checking but I was more agitated about the clerk's disinterest.

I booked a reservation at this hotel through Park Sleep Fly for the night before my vacation, night after and 10 days of parking. While I was away, my vehicle was broken in to in the parking lot of the Best Western and my passenger side window was smashed. This was obviously upsetting but I understand this isn't the hotel's fault, however their handling of the situation after is. When I spoke to the front desk staff after discovering my vehicle, they were not helpful whatsoever. I asked when it happened and they couldn't tell me, I asked if there's surveillance footage and they said yes but they can only release it to the police. I asked for the purpose of my police report if they could at least look to figure out when in the last ten days it happened and they said they couldn't. When checking out the next day, I said I wanted to speak to someone regarding the incident because I was so unhappy with how it was handled, and they said the only person I could speak to was the manager. This was 4 days ago and I have yet to successfully contact her, every call goes to voicemail or I'm given some excuse by the front desk staff. Speaking to the Winnipeg Police, even they admit that this is an unacceptable handling of the situation and the hotel should be at least aware of what is happening in their parking lot if they're offering a pay for parking service. Leaving a negative review is the last thing I wanted to do, but after the hoops I have already jumped through to try to have this situation remedied, I have no other choice. I understand with the pandemics everyone is having a difficult time, but when dealing with this situation, talking to police and insurance companies, the hotel should not be the most difficult one to contact. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE AT THIS HOTEL.

Went in with no reservation and they took me in right away and were fast and efficient. With no issues. The room was bug and nice with a little bar sink, fridge and microwave. It had this most amazing comfy armchair that was just perfect to sink into after a long day of travelling!!!

Staying at the hotel has everything you need at an affordable price. very easy process when you want a good sleep and comfortable surroundings. when you travel a lot it's nice to have "No Hassels" and a smooth and easy stay!

Great hotel. Very close to the airport. Room was clean, big, and quiet. Staff was excellent, facilities were really good, and I slept like a baby in that giant bed! Thank you for a great stay in Winnipeg.

Staying here for easy travel to the airport. Also easy to get from shopping to hotel and restaurants. Plenty of parking. Restaurant services on site although I didn't eat there cannot comment on overall food choices.

We recently took a trip out of Winnipeg airport. We specifically booked this location for its vehicle parking while we were gone. We are also best western gold members. Upon arrival we were told for the month of February they did not stand by the parking on site. We spent an additional 120 dollars which is basically the price of another room. For this price we may as well have stayed somewhere else. We complained to the manager about this and called the best western hot line and neither will give us anything back for this disaster. No offer of refund no offer of a free night, nothing. Absolutely waste of time talking to the manager or the best western hot line. We will be cancelling our best western rewards card and staying elsewhere from now on. Dont waste your time at this hotel as they are not willing to accommodate even when they are wrong. Judging by the response the front office manager gives to other reviews along with our email it's a copy and pasted "sorry, please stay here again" instead of offering a solution. We would have been satisfied with a free nights voucher for the inconvenience but he would not even do that to keep a customer happy. Unreal. Front office manager if you're just going to copy and paste a response or ask me to call you and read that response dont bother responding.

Close to the airport with a shuttle service. Also very close to major shopping centers. The rooms are a nice size and have lots of natural light. The hallways are very wide and bright. The parking lot was an issue. It was winter and there were numerous long term vehicles parked, taking up prime parking space in the front of the property and they were surrounded by snow. The lot had not been cleared in awhile.

Arrived at the hotel and checked in no information was given for breakfast or any parking information. Checked into 5th floor before my trip for my park and fly and upon my return. Upon original check in the 5th floor ice machine wasn't working. I didn't think much of it till I realized this was the same floor I stayed at a year ago and ice machine wasn't working. Hotel floors were dirty in hallways and elevator. Chicken bones in the elevator. When I left to go to my holiday I noted to a staff member of people not parking in there stalls and in drive lanes. They didn't not care and did not address the situation. I did receive damage to my vehicle on the drivers door which was a direct result from the hotel not enforcing parking policies and procedures. The hotel parking lot in these pictures are on a day when there was lots of room. Weather was not an issue either with temperatures around -1 to -16. The parking lot needed to be removed as snow as well. But if the snow is cleaned as well as the hallways I don't know. No compensation was offered or points. Talked to front desk manager Brian and was told to talk to MPS. They would no provide me with plate of vehicle that did damage. Called customer service line as well and hotel did not get a reply from general manager. Customer service rep called hotel and said there is nothing they are prepared to do. I have stayed in many hotels and I am amazed by the lack of customer satisfaction. I'll save the hotel the ease of replying by posting the same copy and paste statement. This hotel is just a few blocks from the airport and very convenient. Comfy bed. The windows have one large square window and a small window beside it that is on an angle so your view is very nice. We enjoyed watching the planes but noise was not an issue. There were minor irritations. The ice machines on floors 5 and 6 were broken and even though we reported them, nothing was done to fix them. The TV remote was frustrating. You had to push hard on the buttons and angle it in a strange way (that we could never repeat). The breakfast buffet in the hotel was $12 per person and had a good assortment but the hot food was all chewy as if it had been sitting for hours. We had breakfast late so that was perhaps the problem, but everything chewy? The scrambled eggs were a funny colour. When eggs sit they usually get more yellow; I'm not really sure how to describe the colour of these eggs. But, they tasted OK. The concession near the check-in desk was minimal, but there is a Petro-Canada next door that has a large convenience store. I would stay again.

My husband returned from a business trip to Winnipeg, everything in his laggage had a very strange smell (even clothes he never used)..and he said that the room had a very strange smell as well (he was there for a week, so the laggage absorbed that smell?!). Brreakfast in the hotel was apparently good.

Always affordable and good stay. Comfortable room. Staff were very friendly. Nice supper in the lounge. Unfortunately long term parking was not available so I had to find other long term parking while i was gone.

We stayed here Jan. 3rd and had room 607 and it was perfect. Large Sparkling Clean room; a comfy king bed; Queen Anne chair in corner for reading; separate table with 2 chairs; great TV with huge selection of channels; a room sink with Kuerig Coffee Maker with Go Cups and bottled water which was much appreciated. Large bathroom with great shower. The airport is a 5 minute ride away and now offer an airport shuttle service. Has a restaurant inside the hotel with a great selection and a lovely buffet.

I stayed one night at the Best Western Plus. The room was clean and spacious. The shuttle was on time to the airport and the staff were friendly. There looked to be a nice restaurant in the hotel but I did not use it.

We booked this hotel because it had a pool and we wanted to take our kids for a day of swimming. When we got to the pool, the water was ICE COLD! We went to the front desk to ask about it, and they said they will call maintenance. Maintenance came to talk to us and they told us that the boiler has been down for a while and they can't heat the pool, but they told the front desk that and they have been failing to inform the guests. The pool was the main reason that we booked the hotel. So it would have been nice to know. We drove all that way, and now we were stuck in a hotel room with 2 very upset, bored kids. This definitely ruined our weekend away. After that, we got maybe a solid 20 mins of sleep. Kids running around the halls, the elevator dinging all night, and pillows that were so hard that my face felt bruised in the morning. I am so beyond disappointed with the hotels lack of communication and lack of informing guests of unavailable facilities, just to make more money.

Awesome service at the Best Western. Called them after finding that my flight had been cancelled. The staff at the front desk had a shuttle pick me up in less than 10 minutes and I was able to check in 45 minutes early. The room was very clean and attractive, and the bed was so comfortable with a good choice of pillows. I'll definitely stay at a Best Western whenever I travel!

smelled like smoke ,obvious cigarette damage and stains on rug, window rotting apart, hair dryer ate my hair and there was a small bottle of whiskey in the hair dryer bag. Ice machine broken. Bathroom vanity color worn off and gouges in the wood. Chips and mold seen in the clear bathtub bars. Stayed only one night.

Room was very clean and comfortable, beds were super comfortable. Only issues were the frigid temp of the pool and the swamp-ish colour of the hotub (which we enjoyed anyway). Fitness centre was solid with excellent equipment. Very good location in Wpg too, very close to excellent shopping and dining.

Stayed at the BW as they have an airport shuttle and parking while you are on vacation (for a fee). Check in was smooth, as was check out. The rooms were fairly large, but could use a refresh. No continental breakfast which is disappointing. The biggest issue was the shuttle. No issues on the way to the airport. The way back another issue. I was given a card by the front desk and told to call once we had our bags upon landing back in Winnipeg. I did just that and was told the shuttle would be 10-15 mins (please note it is around 10 pm at this point and we are traveling with 2 kids). We wait for 30 mins and then I call again. The front desk asks me to wait and they try to call the shuttle driver. Apparently he is MIA as they come back and ask us to take a unicity taxi and they will provide a voucher. After being told by 2 taxis that our bags and family won't fit in the Prius's that they had (and the drivers had no idea when a bigger vehicle would be there), a driver finally stuffed all of our luggage and us in. Disappointing that the shuttle situation occurred. Would have been nice to have known 30 mins prior as we had a 2 hour drive still ahead of us.

Clean room, courteous reception and cleaning staff. Liked the clean TV remote. Lobby and elevators are completely exhausted from use & abuse. Rooms could benefit from clean carpets, newer mattress supports, new window screens and curtains. Hallway noise really disturbs even though rooms are quiet. Maybe more about the clients. This hotel sees allot of traffic from guests to banquet functions. Parking lot full, standing vehicles blocking entrance and smokers hanging out 1 Metre from front door. Many competitors near airport now. This used to be a very nice hotel, not the best impression of city.

Dirty, disappointing and very overpriced. Lobby freezing cold, lounge boring and dirty and overpriced would never go back to this hotel even if it was for free. Overall had a terrible or stay, and will never return

The room was filthy with very little attention to detail having been made by the housekeeping staff. Large burns and holes in the sheer curtains. Some sort of tomato sauce/food remnants on the handles of both the entry to the room as well as the bathroom door. There was some sort of dried substance on the edge of the counter behind the toilet. There was something sticky on the night stand. Hair in the towels. Stains on another towel. Something gritty and sticky on the alarm clock. The remote was broken and also covered with some sort of food. The food on the room service menu was costly, so I did not order anything.

I left my beats at the hotel, called them an hour later asking if they can keep it n I'll come get it, they said they didn't find anything, pretty sure it didn't disappear by itself! Also Waited 3 hours for microwave because there wasn't one in the room.

could do better when it comes to customer service. the receptionist were unapproachable, quite rude too on the phone. internet was slow, unable to connect to my laptop. bill was more than what I booked for on their website.

While checking in I witnessed the staff being berated by an obnoxious and loud guest. They handled it very well. I would probably just have punched him in the face...but that's just me. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much.

The hotel is ideally located for those traveling to and from Winnipeg via airport. They only require a valid ID and a $200 refundable deposit. Makes it easy for those guests who don't have a credit card. They are excellent for accommodating people who have to stay longer.

During a trip across Canada, my boyfriend and I decided to stop in Winnipeg to explore the city. We opted to stay at the Best Western Plus Winnipeg Airport Hotel for one night, and unbeknownst to us, would be there for 3 days due to a severe snowstorm that passed through the area. Our room was very clean, and the hotel staff was unbelievably helpful in the process of extending our stay. One staff member that stood out to us was Ashley Macdonald, as she went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our stay in Winnipeg despite the chilly weather and limitations on transportation due to the storm. Clean, nice lounge and dining rooms. Banquet rooms have been busy each time we stay here so others must be happy with this hotel as well. Close to Polo Park Shopping area as well as the airport. A "Kid's Zone" play business is across the street.

Room was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable and clean, staff was friendly and helpful, large lobby check in and out was easy and price was fair, we had a suite with a pull out couch and that bed was also comfortable.

A early winter storm forced us to find a hotel due to loss of power. We chose the Best Western because of reviews and the price. The check in process was easy. The double queen room was a good size, and very clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom shower was powerful and felt great. The only downside of our visit was the hotel was very busy and full, so we had to park way in the back. Other than that, we enjoyed our night. A bit dated, but still a good hotel.

Every time I come here the front desk staff are absolutely amazing! They are very pleasant and make you feel so welcome even if you are there because of a family member in hospital. I stay here for work and personal. Rooms are large with a fridge and freezer. Also a great location

HOTEL I'm at the Winnioeg Best Westen Airport Hotel and I would recommend it Reasonable prices It's close to the airport and major shopping Rooms are great and its clean It's got a nice lounge and restaurant and you get free breakfast .. we sat in these all day There's a pool and hot tub There are conference /party rooms You can park easily close to the doors and luggage racks and there is a ton of parking The place is bustling with travellers - airplane crews- parties attending events etc so you can people watch or socialize if you hang out downstairs The staff are super friendly and accommodating Its pet friendly so people come and go with their awesome pets and lots of areas to walk pets It's like a family atmosphere P.s. If you DO have an issue that is not getting resolved, just knock on the managers door and ask them to intervene as they do quickly ✌

Friendly and efficient check in. Very nice room. Clean and comfortable. The only problem was that it seemed you could hear the sound of people very clearly from the room. Also, even though the room was on the 5th floor, the noise from vehicle traffic seemed excessive.

This hotel is located very close to the airport which is convenient. The property and rooms are very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone flying into Winnipeg

. This last stay was the worst of all the B/W I have stayed at.The front staff was bad I almost left. The only rason we did not was because some one els paid 4 the rm & was paid in advance. Now . When u walk in bright .I gave her my name She could not find it hinted i had the wrong hotel. when she did find it. she asked me for $100.00 deposit.cash credit card / debit. I asked why that the rm was paid for in advance Reply hotel policy snootilly. I kept talking about the policy. Her snooty playmate whispered to her. Its for incidentals. then she asked for my i.d no prob. then I asked her if she had my rewards no. she said no like i was not to be there. she said she could look it up with my email address. i gave it to her. then she said we will see if u have one. I told her i was at the the top tear of it. she replyed we well see if u are. As if im a lier. so she finds it and says so ur are a top member Did i realy just get all this crap for a 2 night stay for no cash out of my pocket I was waiting for her to offer me a rm upgrade as per B/W award program member. by this time I was so ticked i toke my rm keys and left the front desk. I watched @ least 7 front end staff and only one of them was not snooty. hot tub n/a. pool polar plunge time. also dirty. Bar closes @ 11.30 pm. thats nuts there wher 3 ladies that where polite and freindly. 2 IN the bar and 1 in the rest. $12.00 FOR A BREAKFAST bar u get for free @ all the B/W we have stayed in THANKS 4 READIN MY WORDS 6WHEELCRIDIC

Very well keep hotel great service during my stay staff always willing to help you when needed. Lounge staff very polite and service was good always had a smile on there face. I would reccomend to any one to stay

Pool and hot tub were ice cold and no one at the front desk would give answers. Promised to call with update from maintenance as I said we would check out and stay somewhere else. No call, both were still cold Sunday evening front desk agent rolled his eyes at me when I answered said he didn't know anything about it and no one to ask. Also guests who had stayed on the 4th floor were kept awake the entire night by them shampooing carpets during "quiet" hours. Response at front desk was only time we could rent it shrugged his shoulders at the customers. Just absolutely no care from staff this trip.

I stay in hotels two thirds of the year and this is honestly the absolute worst one I have ever been in. There were vagrants everywhere out front and in the lobby begging for cigarettes and money every single time I went out the door or came off the elevator. The elevator was obviously broken and not safe but, when brought to staffs attention nothing was done at all. You don't pay 130 dollars a night to still have to pay for a breakfast that should be free and to get harassed constantly. Do not stay at this hotel they do not care about your safety or providing an experience remotely worth the inflated price you're paying for the room.

Customer Service in lobby was great. The room had some floor damage. Cleanliness was decent. Pool is small. Hot tub was broke most of our stay. Location to airport was good for my purposes. Noise level was fine.

We stay at Best Westerns a lot and this one is very misleading about breakfast. It is offered in their restaurant but it costs $12 plus tax for guests. Apparently this is a deal. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and relatively good priced but we thought it included breakfast. And the parking is horrible. You have to drive around a lot to find a spot. I realize it's an airport hotel but long stay guests should have to park somewhere else. In the rear perhaps. I don't think we'd use this hotel again. It is awfully far from the city also.

I had a great time staying there. Everyone was very helpful. they all made me feel at home. They help you with everything. Everything was clean. Room were very well looked after. There is a coffee machine in the lobby so you could have coffee or tea anytime you want it. The restaurant have a buffet breakfast which is good plus you can also order from the menu. they also have a pool and a hot tub.

No place to park while checking in. What's with that?..Breakfast is not included with price. The $12 breakfast had been sitting for hours..all stale. Really nice staff in spite of this. Pool and hot tub were great.

We arrived around 8pm or so, and the front desk was clear. We walked up but had minor trouble checking in. It was resolved in a timely manner and we were given our keys to get to the room. Except once we got our 2 puppies to bring up to the room, the keys didn't work. My husband went back down to get new keys, but I noticed another family struggling to enter their room just down the hall from me. Seemed like a minor inconvenience for them as well. Once we got in the room, I noticed a small dent in the wall and the cabinet under the tv had some scratches on it. The curtains were fairly old and worn down. Aside from this, the room was amazing! We had drove from Ontario and we had an amazing sleep! Beds were very comfortable. Check out was a breeze, but was never offered express check out. Unsure if it was just a missed step or if for some reason I wouldn't qualify? I would like to mention that the elevators are EXTREMELY slow. We called it and after about 10 minutes of waiting, we opted to take the stairs. This happened a few times where we had to wait a fair amount of time before it showed up on our floor. And note, there is no free breakfast. My husband and I searched to find out if all Best Western's and Best Western Plus hotels served a complimentary continental breakfast, to which the answer online said yes. We did not receive a continental breakfast which set the morning of our departure a little behind to try and find a place to eat off site. They did have a restaurant, but we were very short on time.

This hotel was a fast check-in. Staff was nice, and friendly. The rooms were quiet and clean! We had a spot of trouble with the internet, not sure if that is all the time or just a short time we were there. They have a pool that is nice small but nice. Easy check out for us. this was a really economical rate purchased online. WE would stay again. Only stayed one night though sometimes it is better to stay more than one to really see how the hotel is. this is our first time experience with this particular hotel and hotel chain. I was in Winnipeg overnight and my meetings were around the airport area. Stayed here for convenience. Decor is slightly dated, but the room was comfortable and there was plenty of parking. I would stay here again if in Winnipeg.

We were there for a wedding. Ceremony was at 2 p.m. Tried to check in, knowing that check in was for 3 p.m., no problem. After the ceremony at 3 p.m. we thought we would check in and go and use the pool, as the reception was not until 6 p.m., our room still was not available. We finally got into our room after 4 p.m. We had our 90 year old mother with us and it sure would have been nice for her to have been able to relax before the wedding reception.

The room needed a serious deep cleaning. Dirty walls, smelled musty, curtains yellowed and in need of repair. Didn't want to touch anything. WAY OVER PRICED for the condition of the hotel. The pictures of the hotel online are not what you see in person. This is an old hotel in need of major upgrading. Would not recommend. I feel very ripped off.

I had a family event , a need to be rested was paramount. This hotel was wonderful, quiet and allowed me to do that. Wonder staff, very accommodating. I needed to replace the key card and they were on it so fast. The price was superb. I definitely will be back.

My check-in and check-out experience was very professional. Rooms are very clean. The cleaning staff are helpful. The coffee machine in the lobby makes great coffee. I will return to this location as it is a good value.

During a recent 3 night stay we brought our dog along. Everytime I would take him out of the room he would begin to sneeze. Between the room and the elevator it was usually 3 times. There definitely was something in the air/carpet of the hallway that was irritating his nose. He wouldn't sneeze in the room, just in the hallway. It may be a cleaner that is used to clean the hallway that was irritating his nose. I couldn't smell it, but of course I'm not a dog! lol I would suggest that the hotel look at what cleaners they use and perhaps see if there is a more pet-friendly product that could be used.

When my family and I decided to book a hotel in Winnipeg we thought it would be a good idea to book in at a Best Western as we often have had great stays there, I was disappointed with this one. The elevator stunk like cigarette smoke, yet this is a smoke free hotel. Also between the bathroom and the main room the carpet was frayed. I thought nothing of it until I stepped on a nail sticking up that ended up cutting my foot making it quite sore. The nail was completely hidden. Was this not noticed or checked by the cleaning staff? The frayed carpet is noticeable enough. Checking in also took a long time and the hot tub was closed. The bathroom counter was sticky as well. The staff were very friendly and were efficient in bringing up blankets for us. The shuttle service was helpful for our travels. I will be returning in a weeks time and am hoping to see better.

This room had everything! Kerig coffee machine two queens, table and chairs 2 wing chairs, windows that opened, fridge, microwave, lots of lighting and very quiet room! All staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good and very expensive. Free coffee was Starbucks! Will go again.

My husband and I stayed here for one night as we had a flight taking off from Winnipeg. They offer free shuttles to the airport. We had no issues upon check-in. My husband and I had a queen size bed that was comfortable. They have a pool, hot tub and gym. The pool was colder than I would have liked it to be. My husband's light by his bed did not work. It costs extra for breakfast in the morning.

I came in on a late flight after all day of travel. Took a taxi to the hotel (which the hotel paid for) which was a nice surprise. Check in was so quick and I was in my room within minutes. Breakfast was part of my package and it was a pleasant surprise, serving a nice mix of hot and cold breakfast. Service at the restaurant and hotel was excellent. I would stay here again if in the area.

Nice newer renovated hotel. lots of customers. Very busy at the front desk. Good pool and hot tubs. It is also closer to the shopping centre Polo park mall. We happened to have a late flights so we went there and took the cab back to the hotel. They can store the luggage and give us shuttle to the airport. Only slower is their billing. I think they hold a certain amount of my credit card and has been 5 days pass, the credit card still see the pending transaction, not the actual amount. Elevator also busy so got to wait for the rides.

Check-in and out were well done - in fact the young lady pre-arranged for our taxi to the airport the next day since the shuttle was full for our timeline. Very congenial coming and going. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Close to the airport and our Car Rental Agency, so that was useful for drop off and pick-up. Well priced - pity no breakfast included option is available.

BW Plus Winnipeg Airport Hotel had efficient check in and check out. We had to call the hotel (free call from airport information kiosk) to get airport pick up. Shuttles to the airport are every half hour. Our room was large with a small sink and fridge, although it was a little stuffy. The tv remote did not work so we used the buttons on the tv. Coffee is available in the front lobby.

Check in and check out were done efficiently and quickly with the hotel accommodating a late check out time without any issues. Front desk staff were friendly and didn't let line ups build. Quick to answer any guest questions.

They have lots of parking spaces which is good check in was ok unfortunately when I checked in the guy that checked me in didn't bother telling me that I wouldn't have the rewards added to my account. They have a restaurant on site which was ok had a beer and a burger not too pricey but there isn't much in walking distance from here. The room was nice spacious clean and comfortable bed slept very well, the bathroom was large enough modern and comfortable. Swimming pool didn't use wanted to but too tired and breakfast there's a surcharge so didn't bother all in all a nice stay. TV was good the rooms have a fridge which was great for me

Tv didn't work, and staff wouldn't move us rooms. staff came to the room to try and fix it, and they weren't able to fix it...they just left. we paid for two nights, and left a night early. when i went downstairs to the front desk to tell them i was checking out due to the issues with the room, even though i had already paid for the night, the lady didn't care or even try to help the situation.

I had been using this hotel for over 20 years and found the staff and management to be fantastic and very efficient and friendly also because of its location and it's ample parking it was an awesome fit .Sense it's change from the Greenwood Hotel to The Best Western Hotel chain I found a huge decline in customer service starting from the GM right down to the front end counter staff very poor management skills and at times very bad language skills I really hope at some point this hotel chain fixes this and brings in qualified people to run it

My friend and I travelled 5.5 hrs for a concert. We were looking forward to a soak in the hot tub before bed. The hot tub and pool were disgustingly dirty. The hot tub water was filthy and there was a brown scummy ring around the inside of the tub. Also, the water in the bathroom sink took a long time to get warm and the shower had only two temperatures; burning hot or cold. You couldn't adjust the temp to warm. Tge staff were friendly and rooms were decent.

Everything you need in a hotel, warm courteous professional staff. Clean spacious comfortable rooms, excellent lounge and restaurant for a very reasonable price. Most impressive was the quality of the food in the lounge. Was like homemade with generous portions. Perfect for after hours when you need to wind down with a good meal and a few drinks in a cozy casual atmosphere. Will make sure I stay again next time I'm in Winnipeg.

The hotel matched our needs perfectly: close to the conference with easy access to and from the conference venue; breakfast was fast, simple and efficient which was perfect for a 4 day trip that was very full; the room provided everything we needed - clean comfort, sufficient space to feel relaxed and not crowded.

I have stayed here many times, never a single complain. Great staff who are helpful and attentive to you're needs. Clean and comfortable room, close to the airport and provides long-term parking at a very reasonable price. We stay here time and time again.

It's been about 20 yrs since I have been in the area, The hotel was pleasant and had great clean rooms with friendly staff. Gps took me a round about way which made the drive to it more difficult than should have been, Again the hotel itself was clean and pleasant, the common / smoking area was full of what I would say undesirables that were not guests. As they left they left their garbage etc on the ground and bench right next to the garbage bin. The only downfall of our stay.

Stayed 2 nights. I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel,amenities, cleanliness and especially the staff helpfulness. The bed was outstanding, the room spotless, the restaurant was excellent value and quality. I only ate breakfast there abnd there buffet breakfast is to be recommended.

It was our first time to try Best Western Plus, and had a staycation for my son's 8th birthday so we didn't know what to expect. My sons and I arrived early and went straight to the front desk to ask what would be the earliest time that we could check in. It was only 12 noon then and the front desk officer started getting my details, then suddenly handed me the key card so I was surprised that she already checked us in! The kids were very happy and excited. It was really very nice of her and we appreciated that. We all had fun and the kids enjoyed the pool even though it was not heated, and was really cold. The internet was also slow, but it didn't really matter because our overall experience was simply great. The bed was too high but very comfortable and it fitted all 4 of us! The server in its restaurant was also very friendly and the pizza was also good. This hotel had a great staff and an amazing service. We'd like to come back again.

Spring break. All of us are busy with our everyday lives. Spring break is almost done so we went to best western plus so that i can give my kids what they want, to go swimming before they go back to class on Monday. Everything went excellent. Service at the front is fast. The room is great and theres nothing i can complain regards the cleanliness. The pool eventhough there are no slides, i can say the water is well maintained. Its very clean compared to other hotel.

The hotel was very close to the airport and offered both a Restaurant and a lounge. Rooms were large and very clean. Staff were friendly and polite. I would definite recommend this hotel for the price point

On a business trip My employer booked a pet friendly room for a 4 day stay ...He tried to book the room on line to take advantage of the room with free breakfast online special Unfortunately you can't book a pet friendly room on line thus he couldn't take advantage of the free breakfast for us Upon arrival my work partner and I walked around the building to find the entrance...we stumbled upon several dirty used needles in the parking lot We informed the front desk clerk when we checked in and and was told She would send someone out to clean them up..... 4 days later they are still there ....they are probably still there Did the front desk clerk think we were joking? It would have taken someone 2 seconds to go and look Will never stay here again and my company who is very large in Winnipeg will never use them again either

Stayed at this hotel because it was a quick shuttle trip to the airport. Check in process was quick and headed to the lounge...good food and beverages. Good beds We were able to get the room we requested and also to leave our car parked at the hotel for the duration we were away on vacation for a fee. Stayed again the night we returned from vacation. There is no continental breakfast but there is a restaurant onsite. Parking lot needed the snow cleared before it got that hard packed. It made parking interesting and walking challenging.

First impressions are everything and this hotel did not impress when we walked in. It seemed dingy and lacked any ambiance. Check in was easy and quick. The room was fine, fairly clean and the bed was comfy, which is why the rating of 4. they should really do something about the lobby to make it more welcoming.

We booked one night here at the very last minute - mostly because we were coming into Winnipeg on a flight that arrived very late from a delay. We choose the Best Western because it was reviewed well, and I could get a pretty decent rate using my government ID. Our room was on the 6th floor and was clean, most importantly. Some of the fixtures in the room were dated and in need of refreshing - the bathroom door, shower head, toilet, etc. Our toilet actually had some weird issues with flushing, but we dealt with it. Check-in was very quick - we did not use either the pool or restaurant, so I can't speak to either of those items. We basically checked in, and crashed. Didn't notice too much airport noise so that was an extra bonus as well. The biggest fault for me was that some aspects of the room/hotel seemed tired/in need of updates - but aside from that, we had a good night's sleep. The parking lot was BUSY but after some patience, we managed to find a spot and were able to plug in for the night. Definitely an option if you're looking to stay close to the airport.

This is a very nice hotel with comfortable beds and spacious rooms. We had no complaints while we stayed here 3 nights. Check in was quick as well as the check out process. We did not go to the restaurant so cannot comment on it. We used the stay park n fly and had no problems at all. If you are flying this is a great hotel to leave your vehicle as they have a airport shuttle that is very convenient. It will drop you off and pick you up at the airport. Overall we would recommend this hotel and we will stay here again when we travel.

The staff was so friendly even though they were booked almost right up with 2 events 150 people each! Sooo impressed with all the staff and the amenities. The pool could have been warmer but totally worth it!

Awesome personnel and cleanliness. We ate at on site restaurant and service was great and was outdone by the excellent food we had, even though are order ticket was lost in kitchen and had to wait longer than others for our great food.

We stayed here in January 2019 and Feb 2019 pre and post vacation flights. It worked well for us and the rate was very reasonable. The room was clean enough and we were able to plug in the car. They had very reasonable rates for parking there when we were away, too. The hotel is very close to the airport and offers shuttle service as well. We used the fitness room and pool areas which were fine. This hotel has a great restaurant, Dalton's, which offers a fantastic Sunday Brunch which we enjoyed. We have booked another stay here.

It was average not great not bad, biggest complaint is the shower didn't work well, and the restaurant was terrible.my bison burger patty was black, the dining room was way to bright they need to dim it for dinner, and the waitress clearly didn't want to be there.

Stayed here for one night as had an early flight. For a relatively low star hotel, it was great. Rooms were comfy and for me quiet (which is not always the case near the airport!). Absolutely no issues and while not luxurious, that's not what you should expect!

The stay was good would recommend my colleagues to stay there and tell them about the breakfast buffet. The facility was good and the conference rooms had a very nice size. The food at the conference was good and also had good snacks

The room, lobby and other services including the conference rooms and restaurant were great. However, the hot tub was out of order - temp was fine but the jets were not. Basically a warm bath with strangers... In the morning, I was awoken by the cleaning staff loudly conversing some distances down the hall. the loud echo was enough to disrupt my attempts to sleep in. Luckily for me the disruption ceased when I stopped trying to sleep in. Two minor inconveniences in an otherwise pleasant and satisfying stay at this hotel.

It was a great stay. Easy access to airport! Loved that everything was under one roof! The guest room was fresh and clean. Loved the suite with the separate bedroom. Friendly staff. Free parking and wifi was perfect!!!

Everything about this hotel was pretty good to fantastic, EXCEPT for the heating system. Oh, it kept the room nice and toasty. The problem was that it was horrendously loud and every time it came on it was like a jet engine. I did everything I could to make it stop, but only unplugging it finally stopped the noise. So long as you unplug the heater/AC before going to sleep (which I hadn't), you should be just fine.

Spent New Year's Eve with friends at the hotel room was clean and well appointed. Enjoyed time in the pool area however we all complained that pool was very cold and hot tub water was lukewarm service both at front desk and in restaurant were good Restaurant food and prices were standard in guality and quantity

I stayed one night. they had a promo on, stay and fly. Stayed one night, left my car there for 7 nights and only paid 129 plus taxes! Best price ever!! Rooms were great, food was awesome and staff a pleasure to deal with!

Had an overnight layover in Winnipeg at this BW. It's 3*, however compared to the other BW Plus. Room ok, front desk check in was basic (Diamond member) not offered upgrade/points or gift, breakfast charge of $12/person....won't stay here again. Personal choice.

Acceptable spot on our way to BC. Room was good size, pets welcome and okay for a Best Western. Nothing too fancy, would stay at the ones outside the City next time to get a better start on the day. Did not eat here nor use any other services....noted luggage cart needs replacement now and noted this to front desk who showed no interest in getting this done.

Stayed for a few days in December 2018. Booked online thru Hotels.com, which was the quickest and easiest way at the time. The price point was outstanding for a hotel of this quality. There is no breakfast included, but at this price it is not necessary. There are plenty of inexpensive options in the area. Usually, when using a third party booking site, I have found that the hotel treats you differently than a direct-pay customer. This was not the case here as I felt like I was treated very well on my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lounge was dated, and could use another TV. The projection TV that I watched the game on was obscured by the lighting above it. The room was very clean and comfortable. The dinner I ordered from Daltons was tasty and fresh. This is a great stay for a very reasonable price.

Went to the hotel to relax and enjoy the pool and hot tub. It was not over crowded at all. We also went to the restaurant for dinner. The food was very good. We all had a nice relaxing time. Will be back next year.

My husband and I had to travel several hours to catch a Winnipeg flight for Mexico. We were able to sleep at the hotel, leave our car in their lot, our winter cloths were put away in a locked room and we received a ride to the airport. On our return the shuttle bus was waiting outside the door and we were at the hotel in no time. We were able to put our warm winter outerware on while the car warmed up and all the service was done with a smile.

Excellent rooms, service, pool!!! The beds are wonderful. We needed someplace close to airport and hospital that had great beds. This is it! Thankfully this hotel had everything we needed! We would for sure come here again and again!!

This Best Western was a good hotel to stay in. It offered comfy beds, a well maintained building, with lots of parking available. I highly recommend paying the extra to get breakfast in the morning at Daltons restaurant, it was very tasty! Would likely stay again.

The check in was quick and easy anthe room was more than adaquet for our stay! The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings in the room where very nice. Keureg and bar sink and a mini fridge and a hairdryer!! Great stay...... We'll be back!

I always stay a best western hotels and this was a good convenient one being so close to the airport. Quick and easy check in. Rooms are fairly clean. Few missed spots but nothing major. For the price definitely worth the stay! Didn't use the facilities since was a quick stay.

Was a very nice quiet clean hotel for the price we paid . We parked our car here for a week while we were on vacation as well for a reasonable fee Was a nice pre and post vacation stay and super close to the airport with a shuttle going both ways.

This is a great practical choice so close to the airport. My room was really clean, and the staff I interacted with were great. The hotel is a little dated, the tv in my room fir instance was extremely old and small - maybe 24-26", but overall, you would have a hard time finding a better rate, at a little over $100, for a quality stay like this,

This hotel is an older property but it is great shape and I would not hesitate in recommending it. It is very close to the airport with a shuttle service. It is also relatively close to shopping and a variety of restaurants.

We stayed here before and were happy to stay again the night before an early morning flight. We checked in with no problems, front desk staff were friendly. The room had a king bed and it was comfy. We had a problem with the tv and called the front desk. Very quickly a maintenance guy showed up and fixed the tv. We got up early to leave for the airport. As we got to our car we noticed a window was damaged from someone trying to break in. Fortunately the car wasn't broken into. As we were heading into the hotel to tell the front desk about our car, we were stopped by another guest. That guest had their car broken into. We were away on vacation for a week. The hotel had our contact information and we had expected some kind of acknowledgement from the manager/general manager about the cars being vandalized. We didn't receive an email or phone call. We won't be staying here again knowing management doesn't care about their guests.

If you want a nice buffet breakfast then this is for you. A little pricey but lots of variety. From french toast to fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages, oatmeal, muffins, etc. Coffee and juice included in the price.

Hotel and staff were great, I love staying here when I come to winnipeg. HIghly reccomended! THe only thing I would change is probably the service in the lounge. It was a little slow and the bartender was almost non exsistant. Other then that, Its a great place to stay!

Fantastic place to hold a Wedding Reception. My son just got married and held his wedding reception at the Best Western Plus in Winnipeg and we were so impressed with the venue and the way that the room was decorated and the meal was awesome!

This hotel is perfect for an airport stay. Clean and well maintained. Outside electrical outlets available. Better than average fitness center. Did not try the breakfast. Daily paper is provided. Good parking available close by.

On the basis of multiple reviews I had high expectations. These were not met. Check in was nice, but the room had considerable small debris on the floor and there was a definite odor of smoke that had been unsuccessfully treated with an odor remover of some sort, leaving me with a headache. Typically these properties charge customers several hundred dollars for smoking in the room. They really can afford to spend more than a couple of squirts of an $8 air freshener when a guest has done what he/she should not.

This a great Hotel for ease of check-in, comfort, value and proximity to the Winnipeg James Richardson International Airport. The only complaint during this stay was the fact that one of the two elevators was out of order, however this only created a minor inconvenience. I would definitely stay at this Hotel again.

I stayed here just because shuttle ti and from airport is free and my rental car place is only 3 blocks away. I had forgot the elevators are old shakey and noisy ones. Also forgot they charge 12 bucks for breakfast... guess oknif you eat a huge breakfast. Not me. They should but dont offer a free express breakfast. Anyway the bed was great, big pillows and quiet. Price is ok but like I said not getting a light breakfast as part of the price is NOT what I'm used to. I travel to over 100 hotels a year so I know of only TWO that charge.... I most likely will be back because of the convenience.

I shouldn't complain...there was a comfortable bed, a clean room and nothing untoward in the room but still felt it was all just okay. The room was hot and never cooled down which makes for a challenging sleep (and maybe I shouldn't write this when I am sleep deprived). All the things you look for when you are just in over night were there. Call for the free shuttle. Ask the front desk for the discounted breakfast coupon.

Very quite. The all you can eat buffet was very good. Great service. Will come back again gladly. You have to pay for your breakfast about 10 bucks. A lot of smokers in the front entrance by the fountain so stay far if it bothers you.

Spent many nights here and I must say the staff are very accommodating and polite. Service is great and food is pretty good. I have been very pleased with my stay here and would recommend it. It is however for from the tourist spots

A very nice place with shopping close by, a basic hot tub and pool ... but the food and the beds were amazing! We had breakfast and supper buffets! The exercise room was a little common but the staff and the environment were very nice. One elevator was rumbly but we just avoided it. The other was very good!

From the moment you walk in the service is ready. Rooms are clean and very accommodating staff and responsive manager to ensure all goes well. Team work is very well coordinated. Yes I would there again without a second thought.

Even though it is right by the airport this hotel is very quiet. I enjoyed my stay here. Staff were exceptional at check in and very helpful. The hotel was close enough to all the places I needed to go to on the trip.

The hotel staff makes you feel comfortable in your surroundings, offers help when it is needed and makes sure to do all they can to enhance your stay. The hotel is conveniently located next to the airport and is close to several amenities.

Everything was ok. Only complaints was using the remote as it seemed to be difficult in using and suspect that it was with SHAW. Elevator was a little bumpy. Staff was very friendly. If possible would like to know where your company purchases double shower curtains as I would like to obtain one and have not been able to locate them.

Checking out after seven nights. The BW online gave me a rare of 120.00 veterans rate for last night. I'm charged 136.00. Also no breakfast at this BW. Shouldn't have PLUS after it. Worst one yet. Sad.

Great property and staff check in was effortless. One issue to pass along is I never checked the clock radio and for some reason it went off at 3:30 AM ruining the night sleep. I have traveled enough to know to check the alarm setting but forgot. It would be nice if the cleaning staff would be aware as they clean rooms and turn it off. I ate at the on site Dalton's dining room and had a great meal. Decent choice and great server.

This hotel was awesome, the staff and shuttle drivers were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel was clean and the rooms were excellent and the beds were very comfortable. We had to leave for the airport early and the staff were accommodating and we did not have to wait for the shuttle driver.

When we first arrived, we were told we had received an upgrade to a suite. We had used point redemption to obtain the room, and we were very pleasantly surprised at this.event. Then we went to the restaurant, received excellent service, and then we were told the hotel was giving us a free dessert in honour of our 45th anniversary. THANK YOU.

Everything was done very well and to our liking. I really appreciated the fresh fruit plate delivered to my room before I checked in. We enjoyed the meeting spaces very well and the finishing touches to all service.

We had a great time at Best Western. Staff were very friendly. Be careful to get a room away from the busy road on one side of the building. We changed rooms due to this. Staff were very accomodating.

Had to make a quick family matter trip to winnipeg and needed a room close to the airport. This one seemed to fit the bill. Stayed here on points and still got upgraded to a suite on the top floor. While this hotel has been around a few years, it's well kept, clean and comfortable. Front desk gent was friendly and efficient. It's in a busy part of the city and there's a bit of traffic noise on the avenue , but it tails off as the evening gets late. All in all , I would be hard pressed to find any serious faults at this hotel. And would stay again. Reasonably priced as well.

The hotel was ideally located close to the airport as well as roads to get to the east end of the city. We stayed six nights in the same room.our room was well maintained the whole time. Good wifi and TV channels. Nice bathroom. The fridge came in very handy. Would stay there again anytime.

We only stayed here because there were no other rooms available near the airport for this night. I wouldn't stay here again. It is old, outdated and stinky. The bed was comfortable enough, all we needed to do was sleep for part of the night until we left for the airport anyway.

Extremely friendly Staff at the front desk. Very tastefully decorated room and very clean. The food was very good. While I didn't eat in the restaurant all my meals were in the Elm room where I was in workshops, the food was brought in and was great.

I did not even leave the hotel! Great service, great food, great bedding. I was very happy with the room service, even though it was a little pricey, it was reasonable. Everyone that I spoke to was very pleasant, and when I needed an early check-in it was no problem at all. Thank you Best Western!

Found the rooms exceptionally Clean, Beds were very comfortable, Staff was very pleasant and helpful . The Resturant had great service and the food was very good . I would defiantly stay at this Hotel again and tell my friends about it

When my husband booked a room here I thought Best Westerns were simple and didn't have much to offer. That was from years ago but after staying here, I was surprised at how nice it was. The lobby area was inviting and set up conveniently. Check in was fast and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big and decorated nicely. The shampoo and conditioner were very good! No problem connecting to wifi but it did get a bit slow after awhile. Our check out was fast.

Very accommodating service, early check in request was no problem at all. Super fast check in and check out. Comfy bed. Breakfast included with stay would be a nice perk. Will stay again in the future!

After returning from our vacation after two weeks, I discovered my side window was broken and had been taped up.All our winter clothing Parka,s Winter boMan5ots ,gloves were gone!It was 30 below and I wanted to get home as my wife's mother was seriously I'll Kimberly,manager,of the best western convinced us to stay and gave us a free room .The staff was wonderful helping us fill out police report and finding us some winter jackets for our five hour drive home .I should not have left anything in our vehicle!Other hotels in the area also had this happen.Many thanks to Kimberly and staff for helping to keep us safe! Great hotel

Helpful staff... very accommodating anytime I required or asked something. 1 of the 2 elevators was working. Noise on the hallway was noticeable one night but I did not call to complain so... I can not fault the hotel.

If you're looking for convenience this hotel is only a few blocks from the airport. Rooms are clean and beds the front desk staff are very accommodating and want the best for your stay. Shuttle service is provided for free by the hotel and will get you to the airport in less than 10 minutes.

The Best Western proved to be a great place to stay, the lounge was welcoming, and the room and its amenities were top notch! The hotel staff were helpful and set up a late check out, when I asked. My stay proved restful.

Due to late luggage it was nice to feel welcomed home with 4 rooms for me and my collegues. Where we could relax and enjoy a great dinner after a long day of travel. Super great service especially on short notice.

Stayed here overnight for an early morning flight. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large with a separate bedroom, 2 tvs, clean, comfy bed. Airport shuttle was great. Don't eat at Daltons. Go out somewhere else or order in.

My wife and I stayed at this BW location after bringing our daughter into Winnipeg for her flight back to Vancouver after Christmas break. Room was nice (King bed/Standard room), well appointed and clean and comfortable for this price point.

Ladies at Front desk staff were not overly friendly or helpful, especially on the phone. Buffet Breakfast wasn't great...it was decent but not a lot of options. Asked for a late check out on a Wednesday and they could "only" do half an hour.

We had the opportunity to stay at the best western airport over the holidays for a family wedding. The wedding was excellent, well organized, the food was great, staff was friendly and the rooms were great. The only thing that could have been better was a little warmer weather, but we were in Winnipeg in Winter. Great Hotel Great Stay!

My wife and I stay in a lot of hotels, generally for work, and occasionally for leisure. The service we recieved at this property was very disappointing. The front desk staff, being the first that we see as we proceed to check in, were unwelcoming and not at all accommodating. We've never had anything bad to say about our experiences with Best Western in the past. Although we will not be returning to this location, we do plan on staying at other BW locations in the future.

The staff are excellent and friendly. The room with a single queen bed was spacious and provided options for sitting and relaxing. The heater in the room was very noisy and kicked in at least once an hour waking both of us. The bed was worn and dipped to the middle. If you need to plug your car in make sure the plug ins are working. The one we used wasn't. Not good at -35degrees.

From check in to check out— the staff were professional, friendly & very accommodating. The room was setup beautifully, the king size bed was so comfortable, & the pizza from the restaurant was delicious. Will definitely stay again.

BWP Winnipeg Airport Hotel is always clean; the staff are efficient and welcoming; and the overall service is reliable and, thus, without surprises. The restaurant serves a fine breakfast--and the dinner dishes are reasonably priced and tasty.

The Airport Best Western is my favourite place to stay in Winnipeg. The place is clean and friendly. The only downside I would have to say is the shaky elevators. It's been a while and they still do the shaking thing.

I booked this room without reading the reviews, and almost cancelled when I read some of the numerous negative ones. So it is only fair to say that MY stay was very good. This is not a glitzy glamorous hotel, but this is Winnipeg and near the airport. Everything worked, the room was clean and quiet, and the staff were courteous and helpful and there is a restaurant in the building.

Always an amazing experience. Staff is friendly. The check in and check out process is really fast and efficient Rooms are clean and the price is great. Central location near the airport and close to Polo Park Mall.

I arrived quite late (11 pm) but was still able to order a full meal in the Lounge, which was much appreciated after travelling all day. Both the lounge and restaurant offer good food, quick and friendly service for a good price.

We stayed over night to catch an early flight. Room was very comfortable, staff was great. Had dinner at Dalton's good food and the waitress was great! Took shuttle to the airport very pleasant driver.

I just got back from staying at the Best Western Airport in Winnipeg. My stay was covered by POINTS I had accumulated from staying there so much! And I still have another FREE night to use more of my POINTS! I've been staying at the Best Western Airport in Winnipeg for about five years. Always the hotel is clean - even the atmosphere is clean and friendly! One Sunday morning (last year), checking out I heard beautiful live music, and it was a Church Service in the hotel! The food at the restaurant is delicious. My only negative is that $30 for a meal seems a bit pricey - even with room service! I would order more if the prices were more reasonable. But, if you get the $10 voucher for Breakfast it is well worth it! Again, the food is great and the buffet for breakfast was really diversified. Location is great too! You can walk to a view large stores in about 15 minutes or less, or take a taxi to Polo Park for about $7 to $10. Keep in mind there is a quiet and not so quiet side to the hotel - but the front desk will do all they can to accommodate you! Overall a great hotel and great staff!

We chose the Dalton for lunch because their menu says the Club Sandwich has fres roasted turkey, bacon, tomato and lettuce on a toasted Sourdough bread. What we got was turkey slice (rubbery), toupee ham roll, lettuce, tomatoe, bacon and cheese on toasted white sliced bread. So disappointed as it tasted like a regular sandwich you make at home and it wouldn't cost $13 each. But the service was very good.

Room was very comfortable and clean.i found it to be very quiet which was great! Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay. Staff at the front desk were very kind, cheerful and efficient. The restaurant was clean. Prompt service, which is always nice. Food was excellent.

Spent 2 day at this hotel and enjoyed the accommodations. The rooms are updated, clean and spacious enough to get comfortable. Meals were delicious, service was great. During the business meeting it would have been beneficial to have water & glasses at each table. I really missed that.

I have stayed at this Hotel before and have never been let down. Great staff and the room was awesome. Had the chance to use the fitness room as well and wasn't disappointed. Will stay there again in the future

Staff on checkin are great. Dalton's staff are wonderful& friendly. Menu has decent choices. Buffett is excellent. Rooms are kept clean and comfortable. Some rooms need a little paint or freshnup toches. Halls are clean and tidy. Place is quiet at night.?.

We booked into this hotel as we had an early morning flight and the hotel offered a shuttle. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, Dalton's and the service and the food was good. Our room was very spacious, seemed larger than a normal hotel room, and was very well furnished and in a quiet location. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.

This is an older hotel but it is in very nice condition. Everything was clean and well maintained. The entire staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again

We requested to check in early and we were kindly granted our request. We stayed two nights and had an enjoyable stay. We ate breakfast both mornings at the hotel and the food and service was excellent.

My spouse and I stayed here for an overnight stay while going to see Cirque de Soleil. At first I must add I was hesitant because my experience with hotels around the airport are over rated. However, as soon as we arrived we were helped right away despite (literally) 20 people checking in in the lobby for a wedding. Everyone was smiling and didn't seem stressed although they clearly were busy. The room was good and beds were comfy! Downstairs in the restaurant and bar we stopped for a quick drink before heading for the performance. The bartender was quick and got us what we wanted. After we returned from the performance the restaurant was still open, so we had a bite to eat. We ordered a pizza and it was exactly what we needed. Really good pizza! Try it out if you have time! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we had to. :)

The hotel I originally booked cancelled my room without notice, so I had to spend 2 hours looking for another room as everywhere in Winnipeg seemed to book. Thank goodness for Hotels.ca for having a room available, because I wasn't able to under Best Western membership. Staff were friendly tho and understanding, quick to let me check in. Only issue was the floor by the washroom was wet, possible leak, but not a big issue as I just needed to get rest

Great service and hospitality. Really enjoyed my stay, the bed was a bit hard, hurt my back when i wioke up, but other that it was quite comfrotable. I would reccomend this hotel for future trips. I am very with the service.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was quiet and clean and the bed very comfortable. We were there for a wedding and the food was delicious, as was the brunch served the next morning. We highly recommend this hotel and considered it a very reasonable price as well.

The hotel staff were personable and helpful. They made sure that our shuttles, to and from the airport, went off without a hitch. This is reassuring when dealing with flights and fatigue. The room was clean, comfortable and up to BW standards of their Plus hotel ranking. When I booked and asked for a quiet room, they put us on a floor away from a wedding family, which I appreciated. Only disappointing thing was that brekkie was an extra charge. In the other BW Plus hotels we have stayed at, the breakfast has always been included. Still, the food was tasty, especially the French toast and scrambled eggs. Really close to the airport and easy to get to off the Perimeter Hwy around Winnipeg. We will go back.

This hotel could use some tender loving care but offers a very useful shuttle to and from the Winnipeg airport. Front desk attendant appeared a bit disheveled (perhaps to better blend in with the physical demeanor of this location), however, was amicable and welcoming.

We spent the night here after my son's wedding. It was a nice clean room and bed was so comfortable. There's a restaurant and a bar as well. Food was good at the bar and the guys got to watch their favorite sports on big screen tvs.

Couldn't do any better for the value! Everything was great, except the room keys didn't work... and they insisted the tv be on hockey in the lounge. I would definitely stay here again, and check out the brunch at Dalton's.

Nice hotel less than 5 minutes from the airport. Airport shuttles offered (can't recall if it is hourly or on the half-hour). Guest rooms and bathroom modern with a nice layout. Good restaurant located within hotel with limited menu. Only complaint is horrible cable TV service. Slow channel changes and poor mix of channels. Otherwise, a great stay.

Room was just fine for 2 weary travels that drove from Winnepeg to Thompson then sasketewan not spelled right, back to winnepeg Price was ok and the food was very good. There was not a lot of street noise in our room and that was really a blessing.

We often stay at this hotel when travelling out by air as it is so conveniently close to the airport and easy to get to. Also close to excellent shopping and dining. If you don't feel like venturing out they have a good restaurant in house as well. We enjoy the service and benefits of being BW Platinum members as we get excellent upgrades whenever possible to suites at discounted prices.

Had a good friends wedding there so we stayed a couple nights, the set up was good same with the food only issue was with cleaning staff waking everyone up 8am vacuuming even after most the floor told them to stop and had the do not disturb signs on.

I usually love staying here. This time though they lost my reservation and gave away my disabled room. They did give me a cot for my grandson as they only had one bed rooms left. I wouldn't hold it again them

Enjoyed staying at the Best Western Plus Hotel Airport very much. My room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The business work space and ability to connect was very good. I appreciated the fridge and coffee maker in the room and all was clean and fresh. Loved that the windoqw opened for fresh air. The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again as well as recommend to others.

As a return visitor to this hotel...I was once again very pleased with the quality of our stay. I appreciate that the temp. control works fast and efficiently...we like a warm room. Also, the linens are so fresh and the beds are comfy. The staff are efficient, accommodating, hard working; always friendly and polite. If there is a problem with anything, there are credits offered as compensation.

it's a typical BW hotel. I don't think you'll find any nasty surprises. The only negatives I can think of are that breakfast isn't included with the room rate and the snacks are a huge ripoff. On the plus side, the pool is nice.

We had a late check in the staff was very quick in checking us in and made sure we were going to be comfortable in our room. The lobby and entrance was very clean and well kept. Our room was very comfortable and large as far as a standard room goes. The room was very clean and well fixture, including a small fridge and a Keurig and a large upholstered chair and ottoman. we would stay here again, we were very comfortable and well taken care of.

Terrible place from the rude front staff to drunken patron all night long for 4 nights. The type of patrons that stay there are not very controlled and a bad indication of the constant drunks in the elevators and elevators that never seemed to work, also being woken up at 2 am from parties outside the front door not impressed.

I was lucky to get a room here without a reservation after striking out at others because of last minute travel plan changes. I was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Great location right near the airport. Older property with some renovations, but in need of new carpets, much improved wi-fi, and either a different onsite restaurant, or different management for the onsite restaurant. Great front desk and banquets staff.

The hotel is close to the airport but well located to get from its "site" to the "sights". The rooms were nice and one of them had reading lights both sides of the bed. (We had 2 stays in this hotel). We did not notice in the small print that the breakfast is extra.

It was as expected, clean and friendly, and nice to have dinner available late. As when travelling sometimes the clock runs faster than you do, so a late warm dinner was welcomed and done perfectly, with a nice selection of vegetables as well.

When you need a place to overnight at the airport, this is a convenient place close also to the Park 'n Fly or you can park at the hotel for $10 a night. This is very handy when you come in from out of town.

Stay at the Best Western Plus - Winnipeg Airport and enjoy a complimentary helping of the "I don't care attitude". When I attempted to use the business center computers to print off a boarding pass, I was told the printer did not work. What???? How hard would it be to send someone to Staples to get a new toner? If the printer is genuinely broken, how hard would it be to go to Staples and buy a new printer for $89 ?? When I see this sort of "don't care" attitude, it is usually a sign of greater problems that are lurking beneath the surface. After this printer issue, I went to the dining area for breakfast only to be asked for a coupon before I could enjoy the buffet. When I asked the server what coupon she was referring to, she pointed out that I should have received one at the time of check-in. Again, another example of the decaying attention to detail. When I checked out, the front desk lady did not bother to ask me how my stay was. She could probably read the bemused expression on my face that indicated my stay was less than pleasant.

The Best Western front desk staff did a great job on check-in and check-out. Very friendly and they smiled the whole time, which is not something you see a lot of with customer service people. The room was a free upgrade and so comfortable and quiet. Didn't get to sleep till very late, and hated leaving that comfortably huge bed.

I got in at 230am and had to hit the road a 730am, so my stay was very short. I found parking was very good, the check in and check out very quick. I found the room very comfortable, I just wish I had more time to enjoy it.

The pool was nicely chlorinated. Children and a baby was able to swim comfortably. The pool was only up to 1.43 meters. The water in the whirlpool was cold because it was changed recently. there was a phone in the pool area in case of emergency.

Overall the hotel was great. Rooms are very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful with check in and check out. I did not get a chance to use pool facilities or restaurant during my stay. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again

I visited the Best Western due to a last-minute change of plans. Fortunately, they had had a late cancellation and were able to give me a room. My night there was excellent. The room was clean, quiet, reasonably priced and very comfortaby furnished. There is also a very nice restaurant on site that serves dinner and breakfast buffets, among other things. The buffets were sumptuous, the food was great, and the service was as good as I coujld want. I would go back there in an instant next time I am in Winnipeg.

I like to stop in at this hotel- close to highway that I leave the city from, close to shoppin, had friendly staff, good restaurant, gym and all basic amenities - I joined the points club this time to see how much it could benefit me over a year

Staying here for a week. Had an easy check in. Big rooms, Good wash rooms, very helpful front office staff and great restaurant! Internet is a bit slow which they said it's because of full occupancy. My overall experience is good.

The staff were helpful and friendly. They reacted quickly to any requests made. The hotel had to upgrade us to a king suite as there were a number of conferences, weddings and special events during our stay. The upgrade was a nice surprise! This location had a free shuttle from the airport, microwave, fridge and was close to a number of amenities. We were able to access the highway to get to our daughter's sporting event in Stonewell along with Portage Ave for the food, shopping and of course ice cream!

Had a one bed suite and was really impressed with he quality, service and on site offerings this hotel had to offer, highly recommended. Size of he room, electrical plugs, close to the Pole park mall, $10 cab fare and taxis parked at the hotel for a quicker service plus the Restaurant and Bar hrs of operation and food. Friendly staff. I will be staying there again if the occasion occurs!

We arrived in town for a funeral and this hotel was central to all of the locations that we needed to visit. The rooms were large and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.

Rooms (2 times) were well appointed, very clean and with fresh air. Mattresses firm resulting in a super sleep .Prompt free shuttle to and from airport, which was very close. Nice pool area, great pizza in the pub with prompt service. Front desk staff were prompt and most helpful, checking on my flight departure and arranging the airport shuttle. A copious breakfast buffet with fresh fruit amoung the choicesenjoyed for a reasonable price.

I recently gave up my seat on a full flight and as a result, the airline put me up in the Best Western Plus as me new flight didn't leave until the next morning. The hotel was only a few minutes from the airport with a free shuttle service. The staff were friendly and the room, while basic, was large and clean. There is a lounge and restaurant in the hotel and a few other restaurants within walking distance. The only blip was upon check out when charges were put on my room that had already been paid. They sorted it out quickly and in a friendly manner.

Stayed one night on a cross country road trip. Close to the airport and trans Canada highway therefore lots of restaurants nearby. Good shopping mall close by as well. Even though you are close to airport we hardly heard any noise. Rooms were clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. You can pay $10 per person for breakfast. We ate elsewhere so can't comment on quality.

Home away from home. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very helpful. I believe the staff treat people the way they would want to be treated. The location is convenient and not too pricey. One might think that this hotel is pricey by the way it looks!!

All good with this hotel. Nice hotel, easy to get to, clean premises and rooms, friendly helpful staff. Good value. No free breakfast, but only $10 for breakfast viucher for buffet breakfast. Would recommend it to anyone.

Rooms are clean, food is good, staff is very pleasant. Location supports business clients. Location is not suited for folks looking for a vacation spot. Lots of road construction may cause delays so give yourself lots of time.

Stayed at this hotel while riding our Harley across Canada. It was a bit disappointing to say the least. It's called Best Western Plus so you would expect it to be a bit better than the standard BW. The hotel was quite old, one elevator was out of service, the carpet in the room was old and had a hole in it. Also they didn't offer breakfast.... not sure I would recommend :(

The hotel had clean, quiet rooms. All amenities were in good working order. Staff were helpful and friendly. The front lobby was clean. We would eat in the restaurant again. The shuttle to the airport was clean and the driver was very helpful with our luggage. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall good experience. Was approached by a homeless person when returning from dinner. Was surprised to find that breakfast did not come with the room. I should have paid closer attention. For the price I paid, most BW include breakfast. Would have stayed somewhere else had I known! Very nice room and friendly staff.

It was an excellent place to stay and It was very nice to have it so close to the airport. It was nice and quiet at night, no loud noises. The staff was very happy to accommodate you when needed. It also had a great restaurant, and the food was delicious.

First off this was the Greensomething hotel in the past. At check in i was not recognized as a diamond plus member, then elevator shook then stoped between floors... then moved up with the door open.... they closed that elevator. The bed was noy very good. It had a plastic cover and small wore out pillows. The TV in the bedroom did not work. The ine in the sitting area did. The biggrst priblem was i got a voucher to eat breakfast... went in there and it was yhe really cheap stuff. Microwave pancakes that were cold, eggs out of a bucket and full of water lime the microwave type, really bad shrivled up sausage and it costs 10.00. I took one bite and spit it out. Aye a bowl of fruit loops... the staff was NOY the usual BW staff im used to, they were snobby. Next trip i will go a lityle outta town to the West side new BW Plus.

We drove to Winnipeg, stayed one night, flew to Vancouver the next day, leaving our car at their Park and Fly, and stayed one more night when we flew back from Vancouver. The hotel itself was average but clean. It is set in the middle of an industrial park type of area so the setting isn't pretty, but it is very close to the airport which is handy. The real test of hotel staff is what they do when things don't go well. On our return stay we arrived at 11 pm from our flight and were given a room on the second floor. Unfortunately it was right beside the building's HVAC unit. The unit was right outside of our window and it was noisy. After trying unsuccessfully for an hour to get to sleep, I went downstairs to ask the concierge whether we could get another room. In some hotels that can be hard to accomplish but this man, despite only having a couple of empty rooms, gladly took me to both and let me choose which one I wanted. We then got a much better sleep. So although the hotel itself is just average, the helpful staff proved to be above average in my opinion.

Our stay was great, other than the air conditioner was not working properly, so we were a little too warm at night. Service was fine as they tried to fix the problem, but it still did not work. I will stay there again.

Everything in the hotel was great. In the restaurant they have a variety of food that was good. At night I go outside to smoke and I feel really safe doing that. I go there every year and they treat me great.

Out of seven weeks stay, elevator broke 1 1/2 weeks, hot tub down and out of service over three weeks, internet rarely works. Service from staff is great but all else very poor. Cleanliness is very good

Wonderful place to stay. Beds are comfortable and staff is friendly and helpful. The weekly Sunday brunch is excellent! Close to shopping, airport and major arteries.The only two negatives are fridges that freeze your food and slow elevators.

We always stay at this hotel when we are in the city, and travelling to and from the airport. We actually had time to have a breakfast, and it was was great! I did not need the shuttle service this time, but knowing it's available. We had time for the pool also, but sad that the hot tub was out of order..

I always like to stay at the Best Western The staff is always so awesome. And to me that is one of the big things that make the stay wonderful. I like a firm mattress so the bed was not exactly what I'm used but comfy.

The location is showing its interior room wear. It's functional for a quick over night in and out of Winnipeg if being close to the airport is advantageous. Average, not bad, just average. Both the room and staff were functional and could use some enthusiasm and motivation.

For the price I paid on hotwire.com, I liked this hotel. Quiet. Sufficient parking this past weekend I stayed there. I rate the bar and restaurant 3 out of 5. Easy access laundry and ice if you need it. I didn't use it but good to know it's an option. Easy to find location. Close enough to retailers on St James. All staff were polite. Rooms were clean, bed and restrooms clean and well stocked too. I would stay here again. Close to the airport and decent neighborhood. What I didn't like is that parking lot didn't seem well lit, tv channel options minimal and on screen guide/control wasn't user friendly. Also, no convenience store within walking distance.

This is a beautiful hotel, clean and bright. Check in staff was very nice and helpful. Room was bigger than the Pembina Hwy Hotel, no breakfast included in the price. Close to the airport as we had to be there early. I would choose this hotel again as we found it to be closer for what we wanted and needed to do. Close to Polo Park mall, better parking for the car overnight

I've stayed twice now at this Best Western on Wellington near Route 90. It's a really convenient location if you're flying in to Winnipeg as it's just minutes from the airport, but not right at the airport and it's associated noise. And it's on Route 90 so it's east to access the north or south west sides of the city and quick to get to the perimeter to head to the east without having to go through the city. There were events happening at the hotel both times I was there, which created a lot of buzz in the lobby area, but didn't affect the quiet of the room I was in. The sound proofing is not the best and crying kids at midnight were not appreciated. The breakfast buffet was cheap ($10) and cheerful, if uninspired. All staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. Parking is plentiful but not covered.

Parking out front (no extra charge), 3 minutes drive to the airport, large lobby with complimentary coffee machine, prompt friendly desk staff. Room 516, very clean with only a partial view but okay for a night. Queen room with sitting chair, footstool, table, 2 chairs, work desk with chair, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, AC, WIFI (included),TV (many channels), bright bathroom with amenities, nice tub and shower. There is a restaurant, clothes washer & dryer for guest use and other facilities we did not use, no time. Overall nice room and hotel close to the airport and would stay again if the opportunity arises. CAA rates from the BW website were lower than price on Expedia.

I had a suite and had to pay for everything... which was very weird to me. I had to pay for my breakfast and o found a spider in my room and I was on the fifth floor! Other then that, the staff were very nice and helpful with my taxis!

This was my 3rd visit to the hotel. The bed is comfy; the room is well laid out for every function; the bathroom is nice and large. A lovely quiet refuge after a long journey. Also, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I shall return!

This hotel was conviently located, however, it was lacklustre in other areas. When I checked in, the hotel staff at the front desk seemed very disinterested and not very welcoming. When I got my room, I was shocked to see there was a bucket full of water surrounded by wet floor signs and a leaking ceiling directly outside my door. The paint was pealing, water was dripping, overall very off putting. When I brought this to the attention of the hotel staff no one addressed it. I would strongly consider staying elsewhere next time.

A nice clean hotel with super staff who were very gracious and helpful with the result being they took a fairly 'average' place to a higher level. The hotel is close to the airport (five minute drive or so) but they have a shuttle that leaves from the airport on the 45 and 15's (and back from the hotel on the hour and half hour). There is a decent lounge and restaurant attached; all in all everything is decent value for the money. Do not really expect lots to do within say a 15 minute walk.

Very convenient location. 2 min drive from the airport. Big parking space. Spacious rooms. Clean bathrooms. Very friendly staff. Loved the option of express checkout. Everything about this stay was wonderful.

Excellent hotel. Staff were friendly throughout our 2 night stay. The cleaning staff are amazing and they keep the place immaculate. The only negative is the restaurant. It is just "ok". Good for breakfast but you will probably want to consider another venue for other meals.

At first glance the suite looked great. By the next day we found the mattress had a large tear on one corner revealing the foam inside where any kind of vermin could hide. In addition there was no usual free breakfast rather a buffet style for 10 dollars which means quite an extra cost for families. Meetings and weddings made finding a daytime parking spot in the front difficult. It would be nice if patrons of those events were asked to park in the rear, particularly when the hotel is supposedly booked full.

As with most Best Westerns it is clean and comfortable. The hotel was busy with a large wedding party. There was a fair bit of noise but thankfully it all quieted down by 9PM. The airport shuttle was booked the night before for 630AM and took about 10 minutes to get to the airport.

We had an excellent stay at this location. We attended a wedding here and decided to stay overnight rather than drive home late in the evening. They needed to change our room from a double queen to a king and offered us a free breakfast to compensate.

Great service, friendly staff, good food and clean rooms. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking to rent in this area! Overall one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Also has great amenities, laundry, pool and gym.

booked and confirmed a room for two queen size beds. at check in they said they had overbooked that type of room and they were giving us a room with a king and pull out sofa. not acceptable. The front desk was not concerned that we did not want a pull out sofa. very poor sleep.

Great location, very personal and met with chef and he came out to ask about our meals , service etc. only negative were the beds as seem old and soft. other than that we would recommend . In spite of all the weddings , hardly any noise and staff informed us of this but did say to let them know if there was too much noise no problem

We attended a wedding that was being held at this hotel. Overall experience was good. We did not use the pool or gym so no comment there. Our rooms were clean and decent. The elevator was ridiculously slow. The wedding ballroom was fine but a little hot when everyone was in there for a while.

I would stay here again. The staff was helpful and super friendly. I lost or left my key in my room on more than one occasion and never had a problem getting another one. The resteraunt wasnt tpo shabby either. The gym is small but does the job.

My husband and I spent two nights here while home visiting family. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was clean. The room was pretty quiet considering the close proximity to the airport. We stayed here using our loyalty points as we had lived at the Best Western Norwester in Thunder Bay the first 2 months we moved here.

The front desk took care of our needs, on check in and check out. The wife was recognized being a regular and had nothing but friendly smiles and apologies for the movies channel issue. Which was corrected. As. Soon as it was broughtto there attention

Rooms were nice and clean. Front desk service was friendly. Restaurant had good food. A little on the pricey side but good food. Nice ballroom as well and the food served was delicious. Roast beef and vegetables with creme brule dessert.

We stayed from May 7-12, 2017. The first few days were for business purposes, the last were for family medical appointments. We were pleased with the service we received, in both the meetings I attended and the hotel overall. The only suggestion we would have is that if the hot tub/spa is being serviced on a daily basis, that it be done when the pool area is closed. This way it would be ready for guests to use as soon as the pool area opens.

The hotel is fairly priced and works well. My room was at the front of the hotel and had a bit of noise from the smokers in front. The food is fairly basic but well priced. My room was a suite but the living room part had no outside window and was quite dark. The bed was fairly firm but I prefer quite a hard mattress for my bad back. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Overall good hotel friendly staff! Rooms are to small for families at this hotel pool is small, no water slide, fitness centre is very basic. Hotel restaurant is very pricey but has decent portions and has a kids menu but does not offer it or advertise it. You have to ask! Parking and location are good many different amenities near.

We had an unplanned emergency medical trip and needed a room for one night for sure, maybe two. Staff upgraded us to a suite and were flexible when I told them I may need to room for a second night. After checking out after night two I picked my husband up from the hospital but before we got too far we realized an extra stay in the city was in order. We called and explained what had happened and that we couldn't wait until the usual check in time. We were guaranteed a room. When we arrived 15 minutes we were greeted and told it was just like going back home - the room we had checked out of was cleaned and ready for our return.

Check in staff was friendly and extremely helpful, room was clean, internet was excellent. Check out staff extremely helpful as well, providing vouchers for a taxi to the airport when the shuttle was unavailable.

When I arrived for my room I was told it was for 3pm not 3am. however the information I had printed showed 3am. I was told it was not them but a third party which is understandable but I was then given a number and brushed off.

Flight got in early and they had no problem giving me an early check in. Was nice to have a shuttle give me a ride from the airport. Rooms were good size. Will stay again next time I'm in Winnipeg for business. The breakfast buffet was good

The room was clean, the bed comfortable and we had everything we needed! Our only issues were the remote was finicky and we just wished the restaurant had been more affordable! Thanks for a great stay, we'll definitely be back!

Awesome experience from check in to check out. Best diamond level upgrade I have ever received. Lounge servers professional and friendly. Steak cooked perfectly. Serving staff at conference were great and awake choices of food and drinks provided.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was much more luxurious than I had expected from a Best Western. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom spacious and spotlessly clean. Pickup from airport was a breeze and staff very friendly. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever experienced at a Best Western.

Staff is excellent and rooms are clean. high speed internet was fast and the fitness room had everything for a quick workout, although it could be a little larger. The location is great as it is close to the airport and Polo park which has excellent restaurants and shopping. A movie theatre is also close by if you want to see a movie.

I had a very late arrival on my last stay. I was met with a friendly smile. Only one improvement I would like to suggest is that some healthy snacks be provided on the snack shelf. Granola bars or crackers.

I love the Best Western Plus by the Winnipeg airport. They have excellent service and it's a great location! You can walk to get a bite from Tim Hortons or a cab ride to Polo Park under $10. The restaurant at the hotel is very good too! It's been my second home every time I travel via Winnipeg.

I had booked this hotel a while back, seeing as I was flying out of Winnipeg at 6:15 am, and didn't want to get up at 2 am in order to get to the airport. The weather was horrid, and the drive to Winnipeg was nasty, and when I got to the hotel, I found I was upgraded to a suite. Nice surprise. I spent very little time checking in, which was also nice. The room was exceptional. I would stay here again.

Was here with sports team and day before we arrived emails were sent to several families saying they were being moved to a different hotel. It was fixed in the end but not before creating a huge amount of stress. We were also woken up by cleaning staff at 8:30 am one morning to clean room and woken another night by alarm going off at 3 am by cleaning turning on alarm while cleaning. Overall not a great experience. We won't come back.

The Best Western Wellington / Airport is a $20 cab ride from downtown, has Excellent location for Airport access and Surprisingly good wi-fi. It also has a Great 1/2 price breakfast buffet for guests.

Our daughter had her wedding reception in the Greenwood Ballroom. From beginning to finish, everything went so smoothly. Every guest at the wedding thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Food was served promptly, piping hot, and was delicious! Nothing but praise for the excellent service, If you want to plan a perfect wedding, choose the Best Western Plus Winnipeg Airport, and select one of their All-inclusive wedding packages. You cannot go wrong, and you will save lots of work running around putting all the pieces together required for a wedding reception.

Stayed here for three nights to attend a conference at the Hotel. The hotel, the restaurant, bar and rooms are all clean. The rooms are set up well and are very quiet, except for the fan. Water and water pressure are good in shower/ bath combo. Elevators are fairly quick. Breakfasts in the restaurant are very good for $10. What I have to say though is that the staff at this hotel makes this a 5 star. Every single person from the front desk to the cleaners were so friendly and easily struck up a conversation! This was so refreshing! Thank you! Location is very close (3 Min drive) to the airport and about 20 min from downtown by cab.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while attending a conference. The room was quite large and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels and the needed amenities.. The food was excellent. It was served hot and on time. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful.

My room was clean and well maintained daily. The shuttle bus to and from the airport was broken but they provided taxi service. The room was noisy with elevator sounds ongoing. The hallway resounded of people going in and out The wifi in my room was very unreliable. It cut in and out multiple times

I normally stay at the Four Points in Winnipeg but had to stay else where when Four Points was booked for my last trip. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and services at Best Western. The staff was polite and friendly, even bumped me up to a suite (which is gorgeous). The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was very clean. Even though the room was a little costly I was very happy with this stay.

just a place to sleep and that didn't happen. Was not given choice of smoking or non smoking and was put in smoking room and i do not smoke!! was ill all night from the smell in the hall and room and couldn't change rooms as was full.

My wife and I needed a weekend get away from the kids, so we decided to stay in our own city. The hotel had a nice lounge where we started with some drinks with friends. They had my premium rum brand which was nice to see. The room was clean, but my only complaint and its not much of one was that it was moist. It had by my best guess that the carpets had just been steam cleaned or something. Not a deal breaker but one more day to air it out would make a big difference. Still better to see them cleaning than not. Beds were comfy, small fridge was handy, and a small utility sink in the main room was good too. We enjoyed the pool the next day, small to medium sized but we had it all to our selves (Sunday Morning at 9 am). Hot tub was also nice. It is located on the main floor, so you have to walk by the lobby in your bathing suit. Not that I cared but I thought some people would. There was a lobby coffee machine, which would make hot water for tea, but no tea bags. When I asked at the counter they provided tea bags (thank you). We had breakfast in the restaurant, and it was delicious. Service was a bit slow, but the place was only 10% or less filled with diners. One server was looking after everyone, at least when we got there. We weren't in a hurry so no big deal. Overall a nice stay. On a side note we had come here for a wedding 6 months ago and it was one of the nicest hotel wedding I've been to. They have a big fancy banquet room and put on a great event. Worth checking into if you have a wedding to put on. Our friends thought theirs was great. Thats why we came to stay here.

Went here to celebrate an anniversary with my fiancé and the power went out. It got very hot in the room and we went to check out and front desk after staying only for 4 hours. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Said there are outages all over the province and you're checked out with an "all good to go". Horrible experience. Do not stay here.

The hotel was great but the restaurant buffet was overpriced and the selection of food was very limited. The Canadian Superstore is located nearby and we bought food there to take back to the hotel. Other than that a nice hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here the room was very clean and the bed was oh so comfortable. I will defiantly stay here again. The only issue I had was that the one remote did not work maybe dead batteries other than that it was a great stay!

We stayed here for one night and it was adequate for what we needed. It was quiet through the night which was great. The rooms were a decent size. Fairly clean. We didn't use the pool or eat at the restaurants so I can't say anything about that. We still love the Hampton or Clarion but both were full. However this fit the bill just fine for the few hours we needed. The front desk staff were also helpful and accommodating.

Was in Winnipeg for a friends sons wedding. All events were booked at this hotel. Staff were all very friendly and one went above and beyond. Would definitely return for another weekend stay. Location is very accessible.

It was a nice hotel and the service was good. I was just passing through for one night. The only complaint was that there were a lot of homeless people around the hotel asking for money, cigarettes and looking for butts in the ashtrays, which made me a little weary since I was travelling alone.

We were glad we upgraded our King Room to a Suite. The front desk clerk, Paolo, (I hope I have you name right!) was very welcoming and friendly! That kind of greeting and service makes all the difference between a negative or positive stay. The pool is open until 11pm. We can go the bar until 1am where we can order food if needed. Nice feature to have on site! Nice large conference room here. Close to the airport not walking distance per say, but really close to the Polo Park Mall and other store's, Tim Hortons, other hotels, several restaurants, and lots more shops. We were registered quickly and in our room promptly. A clean room is very important to us. This room is a clean, comfortable and spacious room to call home while we explore the city and celebrate our 32 wedding anniversary! Thank you Paolo! Nice spacious, comfortable, clean room. Nice pillows and bed! Great front desk service! We recommend this hotel for anyone. We will stay again because it is really good value for our money!

Clean, spacious room with window that opened to catch a breeze. On site restaurant good breakfast and buffets although a little pricey. Close to airport yet room quiet. Will stay here on future trips to Winnipeg. $306.00 (including high tax) for 3 nights very reasonable. Hotel required $150.00 upfront deposit although room was prepaid. This worked well for dining and room service.

It was a very pleasant stay. I had to modify my nights and they were more than willing to help. I also needed a extra room for my daughter and they were very helpful . I highly recommend that when choosing a hotel in Winnipeg; that this be your primary choice.

checked in and made my way to the 5th floor and the cards would not open the lock back to the elevator and one of the staff asked how my stay was and I told her it was not off to a good start. she took over told me to go to my meeting and she would have the bags taken to my room and I could pick up new cards on my return when I returned it had happened. now that is service and great customer service

The hotel was great. The room was large and in great shape with everything that you need. We had two dogs and the hotel was pet friendly but we were put on the 3rd floor but it still worked. We were in a large truck with a car transport trailer so we parked in the back parking lot with the other large trucks. Next morning we discovered our truck had its door lock punched out and some things stolen from it. Now this isn't the hotels fault but a warning you may want to park in the front if you visit.

Upon entry the front desk staff really welcomes you and makes you feel special. The furnishing and fixtures automatically gives you a sense of luxury & check in was smooth, even though it was very very busy. Our room was clean and in order. had a wonderful stay, it was the most comfortable bed we ever had in any hotel with many choices of pillows. Breakfast was paid via voucher and the buffet style had too many excellent choices all prepared without processed / freezer type food the other hotels use. It was worth paying the extra for just one night, a treat to be remembered. Thanks Best Western PLUS!

Stayed here to catch a flight and the room was great! Clean & comfortable! Rooms were quiet which we appreciated, early flight! Shuttle to airport and pick-up, fantastic!!! I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while on a conference. The first night was great...excellent service. The 2nd night it rained and all the smokers were safely protected from the downpour under the canopy - right in front of the doors. I complained to the front desk staff who chased them to another location....but....as soon as the staff person left, another smoker decided that this was the place to be and I had to walk through his cloud of smoke. I discussed this with the staff who were very sympathetic, but said they didn't know what to do. I suggested that the hotel hire someone to guard the front entrance and the staff person said she didn't think the hotel would agree to this...but she would ask. I don't the reception staff that this hotel has beautifully appointed amenities, friendly and efficient service, but all of this was negated by the slum appearance of the front of the hotel, even though they clean up the butts 3 times a day.

Stayed here with 2 friends for one night as hotel handy for airport. The hotel was nice. The room itself was fine. It was a good size, clean and comfortable. As there were 3 of us it meant that one of us had to sleep on the fold down sofa bed. We had to use the duvets from the beds to make it half way to being comfortable to sleep on ... you could really feel the springs otherwise....not great. We had breakfast in the hotel. There was a fair selection of hot items ....or I should say items that SHOULD have been hot. I had to go and tell the staff that the burners had all gone out and the food was stone cold. Surely one of them should have been checking? Disappointing service. All in all a very average stay.

Had such a wonderful time in Winnipeg with family and made many new friends at the Winnipeg Airport Hotel. Such a friendly staff and so very helpful with all our questions of which there were many because we had never been there before. The hotel was very clean and the decor was appropriate.

Checked out at 10:30am, but had left messages - both written on my room record and verbal with Reception staff - that I was expecting the Brandon Air Shuttle about 11am, and would they please call my room when he arrived. Came downstairs at 11:08am to find the BAS driver, kind of upset, who said that hotel Reception said they had no record of my registration at their hotel. Oh well, I tried.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice room: room darkening drapes, quiet - no outside noise. The beds were extremely, wonderfully comfortable. Appreciated the outlets located on the lamp base to plug in my cPap machine. Handy restaurant in the hotel with excellent food for supper, and wonderful selection on breakfast buffet. Highly recommend.

The front desk staff try to make you upgrade your room choice for a "reduced rate". They are not clear that breakfast is not included or that a voucher is available for those booking rooms. The wait staff at the Dalton's restaurant do not communicate very well. The internet is awful! HOWEVER, This hotel is very clean, bed is comfortable.

Great location, close to airport, fabulous customer service. Just in town for one night for a funeral, and the AC was too noisy to get much rest. Upon check out in the morning, explained this to the front desk clerk, who was terrific in making sure we were happy with the results. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

This is a horrible place to stay. I'm writing this at 2:40 AM because the partying continues nonstop in two rooms next to ours. I called the front desk twice and the yelling continues. Apparently loud noise is considered ok at this hotel. I will never stay here again

Checking into this hotel was quick and efficient. The rooms were clean, and although very near the airport we did not hear roaring jet engines overhead. We enjoyed a drink at the bar along with an excellent snack before heading out to Joey's for dinner. Our wake up call came at precisely 5:00 am as requested. We attained vouchers for our buffet breakfast at 6:00 am, which contained the usual hot-cold items, all fairly good. Fairly good value for a hotel only five minutes away from the Airport.

The hotel is a garden variety, near the airport hotel, more recently relabelled as a Best Western. It was clean and most importantly quiet, even though filled to capacity. we did not use any dining facility as we had a favourite breakfast spot nearby.

Lots of towels, luxurious pillows. Fairly quiet. I would most definitely stay there again! Twin queen beds so perfect for myself and my son. Really clean. Everyone that worked there were really friendly.

This is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel but it's been awhile so I thought I should review it again. The service at the front desk is always very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and my bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a very deep tub and a great shower head. They give you all the amenities like shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. No body cream though. The air conditioner can be a little loud when it starts up during the night. They also allow dogs! I asked if they had specific rooms for families with pets and they told me usually they give them the lower floors so they can take them for a walk. I asked about people with allergies and I was told that all the carpets were steam cleaned every time a pet stayed and all the linens were cleaned. They also have a great indoor pool.

We rented the banquet room for a family wedding. The room was beautifully decorated and the meal was excellent. The service was very good. The staff was very efficient. Would recommend this facility for this type of event

I managed to get a secret hotel price from a leading website for this property for one night last week. For $69+tax, we got a king suite with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. I don't expect to be able to repeat that, but I do plan a repeat visit to this clean, friendly, amazing, property.

This hotel is exactly what you expect it to be - a mid-range chain airport hotel. The staff are efficient, the room was a decent size, clean and modern, the bathroom (with tub/shower) also modern. There was a mini-fridge and coffee-maker. The mattress and bedding were good. There is free parking on-site and a shuttle to take you to the airport. Because we were catching a very early flight the hotel sent us in a cab. There were 2 weddings on the Saturday night we stayed so it's a busy place, book ahead.

Stayed a Friday night. Checked in by 4, had reserved through Best Western App. Check in was smooth, no issues. The number signs on third floor confusing as there seems to be a typo. Says the one hallway goes to 322 but it should be 332. Walked around looking before realizing their error on the wall. Room spacious and mostly clean. When mirror fogged up there was remainder of previous messages on the mirror. Nice of the previous person to say they love me :) Didn't like walking through large groups of people smoking out front, but wasn't hotels fault. There was a wedding on. Beds comfy, and that's what truly matters.
